- 0:01SPEAKER_02: Welcome back.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: This is episode 11 of Great Scott, a brothers review podcast, where we talk about things we love most.
- 0:09SPEAKER_02: It can be movies, uh, TV shows, video games.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Uh it's really just a life catch-up because we don't really like texting each other, so we do it here.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: We're mom hates she told me she hates that part of the intro.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Because we don't text each other?
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: I told her it was true.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: I mean, we text each other now about the podcast, but yeah.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Uh other than that, today this podcast is gonna consist of we're gonna do a little catch-up, see just kind of what we've been doing, and then uh I think Jeffrey's got a little bit of news we'll go over.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: I may throw some in there as well.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: We'll see.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Um and then I think we'll have a kind of a brief review of something we've both been watching.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Uh and then we'll do our top ten, as always, get to know us a little better, followed up with a fun segment that I came up with this week.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Um, and then after that, we'll do our watchless reviews.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: I have not pictures for this week.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Have you picked mine?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: We'll get to that when the time comes.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Uh but other than that, well, I guess what you been up to, what you been doing, what you been watching.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I have not been doing a whole lot of anything other than watching movies, TV shows, and working pretty much.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Um Cultural season's coming up, though.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: That's my favorite time of the year.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I'm ready for that.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: But other than that, I've been watching Outer Banks new season just came out.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: I've been watching some of that.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Um watch the first three movies of the 28 Days Later franchise.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: We'll get into that in the watch list.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: He wasn't supposed to do that.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: They were supposed to be my follow-ups.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: Um but I guess he couldn't get enough, so he watched the rest of them.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was only supposed to watch the first one, ended up watching.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: That's why I didn't look at your review because or your watch list, because I thought I had it lined up.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: Uh, do you have any brief thoughts of Outer Bank so far?
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: Do you want to talk about a little bit about that?
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Just brief some how you've been feeling.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: First, how far how how long how far along are you?
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: I'm only like four or five episodes.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: I think um me and Perry are probably on episode seven?
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Episode six and seven, yeah.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: So it's I mean, it's alright.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: It's definitely missing something, obviously.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: But Okay, so uh where you're at, I'm uh have they where are they at?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Um so it's got I don't know about done, but dealing with the like drug smuggler people that are back at OBX.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Okay, so they're back in OBX.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: See, I felt that's kind of like a brief point that I wanted to talk about about Outer Ranks season five is the whole time when they're not in OBX, I feel like is so goofy and I do not like like I it's not about it at all.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they start to do some stuff that's exactly everything's just too convenient and it just doesn't make any sense, it's outrageous.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: And I felt like everything that was good about the show from the first season, first two seasons, were in OBX dealing with the kooks and the pogs.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: And luckily, they're starting to get back into that.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: And I think I I felt like the reason the first three episodes were so bad is because they kind of wrote themselves into a corner.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: They wrote themselves, they were in this, like, where are they Morocco at one point, they're in different places, and they gotta figure out a way to get back.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: They realized we need to get back, uh, and they just had to do some outrageous stuff to get there, and it was just silly.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: But I am glad they're back.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Um we'll have that review next week.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Next week.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'll be done with it by then.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: We'll finish it up and we'll give a full review of that.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um but other than that.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: So I've been I just finished book seven of Dungeon Crawler Carl.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: No spoilers.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Five is still my favorite.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Book seven is my second favorite.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Um it's it's just so good.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Whoa, so five's your favorite.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Which one's your second favorite?
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Seven, the one I just finished.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, dang.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: So it is it pulls I was at work and the a guy, my coworker that also reads them, and he's caught up uh with all eight.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: I was that's hard to tell.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I was like, Mr.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Pulling on my heart strings, and he knew exactly where I was.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So the end of the last hour of book seven is pretty emotional.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: In a good way, too.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Like there's some heartwarming stuff in it, but it's also pretty sad.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Is there eight?
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Eight, yep.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: So far, and they're gonna make it.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: So far, there's two more.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Gonna be made.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: I am still in book four.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Nearing the end of it.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: Um, it's good.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: I just don't have time to listen to it.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: I do sometimes when I walk and stuff.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Um book five is so good.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm glad because I'm hoping it gets me kind of back into it where I just want to just bit it.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: But every out of all the scenes, like specific scenes that I'm imagining are gonna be in the TV show that's gonna come out, uh, the end of book five is the one I'm most excited for.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: So that'd be cool for that.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: I've also caught up first two episodes of the Lanterns TV show.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you've seen any of it yet.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: No.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: You gotta watch it.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: It's good.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: It is really good?
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Well then I'll watch it.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: It's coming out weekly.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Yep, Sunday.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So catch up on HVO Max, yep.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: It's only two episodes out.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: I'll try to watch that.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: Uh I did finish Severance season one.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: So I found out all of that.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Um season two, we I think I watched one episode of season two last night.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: Starts off, he's running through the hall, and the camera's just going everywhere.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: Perry said, uh, she's like, it's like they got some new equipment and just wanted to use it, wanted to try it out.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: They did do a practical.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: There's a video of behind the scenes where the camera like flips and rotates.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: Uh that kind of that was weird.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: And then the whole spoilers, but the whole bringing in the new team, yeah, just to bring back the other team.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: I was like, what's going on?
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: I'm assuming s something is gonna go down with that group and that other team, we're gonna see them again, I I would assume.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, that was just weird.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: But the end of season one was really good.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Uh I r it was kind of weird, especially transitioning into season two, seeing how they say that they're like heroes, they're seen as heroes now.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: I guess they explain that a little further.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I think it's a lot like to that just to the company or to the outside world.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: They're seeing it.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, in the video that they showed them, yeah.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: They I mean it was kind of like t I guess specifically towards the company, because it showed what the company's doing wrong and they're trying to fix it.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I think, yeah.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: So I think the reason they do that is l literally just because they got caught.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Like we're got out and they and it's a smart company.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Obviously, they've constructed all this that they're doing, so they realize the only way to get through this is like, okay, fire the person that wasn't ahead of it and then say we were wrong, look and then like commend the people that did it to try to limit the backlash a little bit.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Um I think that's all that was.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: I think it's kind of all farce a little bit.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: It's not really like like they're not actually calling him heroes, that's just kind of the the way they went, the way their marketing went with everything.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: But what I d I guess what I don't understand right now is how the season one ended with Mark telling his family his wife was still alive.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: The only reason I can think that he would go back to that job, because uh Milchik said that he wanted to, he like really wanted to, and he had to have if he was gonna be in there, you know what I mean?
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: Uh the only reason is he wanted to, like his family told him that his wife was there and he wanted to uncover what was going on, which is crazy because he's giv he's leaving it up to somebody he doesn't even know, which is himself.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: Um but that's the only reason I can think of why they would be back or why he would be back.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: Um But the other ones coming back after Meltrick said they didn't want to at all was also weird to me.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: But I'm starting to really like the like each character, like Dylan and Irving, uh in their own kind of way, but uh Heli's kind of rubbing me the wrong way.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: But I don't know for a second there I thought maybe she was like it wasn't Heli R.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: It was the Audi that was inside and plotting all this stuff, it's kind of figuring out what's going on, what they're thinking actually in there, um, to get some insight.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that's where I'm at.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: It is a really good show.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: Uh we just kind of spoiled a lot of it, but you should watch it if you haven't.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: Um but other than that, I did I mean Outer Banks as well.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: And uh do you want to go over to news first?
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Do you want to hop into we'll go we'll do some news first because there's uh at the end, it's not really news, but it's a storyline or plot idea that uh Coy Jandro, I think is how you say his name.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Um If you're kind of a comic book nerd, you should listen to some of the stuff he says.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: And he he's pretty well in Marvel.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: Like I don't know what he does for them, but he also has podcasts and he goes on other podcasts, and he said something about potential uh plot point and storyline for the X-Men movie coming out.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: And well, I'll end news with that and we can get into we'll talk about uh X-Men 97.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: We'll review that whenever we get away.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: X-Men 97.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: So just a few notes.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Um one of the movies I was really excited for this year is called The Uprising.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: It's a Andrew Garfield plays like a peasant farmer and starts a rebellion against like the kingdom and stuff.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Really excited for it.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: I think the movie comes out in a week or two, and all of a sudden they're like, hey, by the way, this is a like origin story for Robin Hood.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: So usually when you change the marketing two weeks in advance, is you think it's not gonna do well, so you put like the Robin Hood name will obviously it'll drag some people in.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: So I it's I don't like that.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: I wish they would have left it alone and then that would have been a big reveal in the movie that would be cool.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: I like are they not making another movie with Robin Hood?
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: They've already done Robin Hugo Jackman plays Robin Hood.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: That already came out, yeah.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: This year.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: What the heck?
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: So if they would have kept that as a secret and it comes out, that would have been awesome.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: That would have been better.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: But then to like all of a sudden change your marketing ideas two weeks before the movie comes out makes me significantly less confident.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: But you don't think that I mean, you definitely think that it was always Robin Hood.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: They didn't just make that one.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: I think it that's always what it was.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: But they just they were gonna leave it kind of behind the scenes until just called the uprising and then you find out, yeah.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: So now I'm a lot less excited.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: I I'm I love Andrew Garfield, but um I think it'll be good.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Andrew Garfield's still good.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I hope it'll I hope it'll still be good.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: It just made me a little bit less excited because they did that.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: Um they're actively casting Magneto.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: So I know Henry Cowell was someone that auditioned for it.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: Which is interesting because like everybody, Adam Driver is Mr.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Sinister.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Um, and the reason he has to be Mr.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Sinister when everyone wanted him to be Magneto is because the whole Marvel thing is getting actors and actresses that aren't sometimes it's not necessarily lesser known, but not doing the big like blockbuster movies or like the big like Christopher Nolan movies and stuff, because you can sign a no-name actor to a 10 movie deal, but if you sign Adam Driver to a 10 movie deal, you're spending a lot of money.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: So they had to find the right role for him, which makes it interesting that Henry Cavill was auditioning because you would think that he's a little bit of a bigger name, but I guess he's his name's kind of come down recently.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: So that's interesting.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: It also makes me think about how we view Chris Evans and RDJ and all them now, but thinking about it back then, like Chris Evans was in some rom coms and not in like a whole bunch of good stuff.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: RDJ had some personal issues that he was dealing with at first, and it was kind of like like now they're like so you think they might these guys might blow up and then Well, yeah, I mean they're gonna blow up at least in just yeah, like people are gonna know who they are, but um, so that's interesting.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: There's been some rumors about Toby Maguire's Spider-Man.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's the in Doomsday.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: People are saying that the oh, it's gonna open with him fighting the Fox X-Men universe, which is interesting.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: I have a theory that Doom is gonna play a good guy that's pulling the strings and telling everyone like this is how you can save your world.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: And it's by going against these people that can save the world, which is why you see in the trailer, like the Avengers, like Chung-Chi and all them fighting the X-Men and stuff like that.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's true, but that'd be I would not agree with because we know the rest the X-Men are in the rest of the film, or at least parts of it.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: So do they just it's Spider-Man versus all the X-Men they're gonna beat them, and that's the end of Toby McGrath's.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: I mean that would be so tough, but if they could find a way to pull that off where you don't just end Toby McGregor Spider-Man, but you do have that fight scene, that would be.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it would be cool, but how I don't know if we can the only way is the other rumor is that it's gonna be superior Spider-Man.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: So superior Spider-Man is just the difference like the red and like the gold and stuff.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: But it's still Toby?
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: But it's still Toby, but like an older Toby that and that's the only way that I think he has even a chance against half of them.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: So Yeah.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Like Sam Raimi's suit Spider-Man showing up to fight the X-Men is I don't think it's gonna go well for him.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's definitely not, but the fat like I'm sure you've seen the clips online uh of like like fan posts that have uh Spider-Man fighting the X-Men and he's getting knocked down and he keeps getting back up, dude.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: They're so good.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: And they honestly like people dog on that uh that theory, but I kind of like it.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: As long as they don't kill him off, you can't kill him off.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if they kill him off, it's gonna be good.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: That's a tough way for him to go.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Just like bring him in, fight the X-Men.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's bad.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: Just to introduce them.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: That's a bad deal.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can't do that.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So that's something I wanted to touch on.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: Get your thoughts on it.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Uh kind of in the same place that you are.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: It could be really good, but I'm kind of scared.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: I could see, like, I feel like they've done this in the past where it's not this drawn-out scene.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: It's almost like a short, like almost how they did in Spider-Man Brand New Day, where you just get a snippet of this fight, and it's just showing, like, kind of introducing them, like, through their introduction, is a little snippet of them fighting that Spider-Man, and maybe not even showing Toby.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: I feel like you have to, yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: But just fighting a Spider-Man and seeing the worlds collide and f uh battle against each other.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: But like maybe that's where this theory is being pulled from and people are blowing it out of proportion.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I just don't know.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: I can see that.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Another thing is uh Ghost Rider July twenty-eight, got a release date for that, so that'll be cool.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: July 2028.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: So that'll be cool.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Um I'm excited for that, obviously.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: I'm really excited for Ghost Rider.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: And the last thing, this little thing I was talking about that Koy had come up with is so he's big into Marvel, he's big into the comics, and they were talking about the age difference between the casting for Emma Frost and the casting for the rest of the X-Men.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: So he thinks that it's not gonna be a story about Charles gathering the five, like the main five original X-Men.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a story about two different classes of the school, and Emma Frost will have already been there and she's a teacher.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Because one of Emma Frost's whole thing that turns her evil is her whole class, the class she teaches, dies.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: And that's her whole thing.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: So the the he thinks because of that age gap that that's where they're going, and that it's gonna be Emma Frost is gonna be maybe even in this movie, be a teacher there.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: That'd be crazy.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Because she's there's two different Emma Frost, there's one that's the same age as kind of the older people, and then there's the one that's the same age as like everybody in the class.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: And he thinks that's where they're going, and I think that would be awesome.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: That would be cool.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: So I mean that would be big.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: Do you think like what are they gonna do with Wolverine?
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: Are they gonna recast him?
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Are they gonna leave Hugh Jackman?
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: I think they're gonna recast him, and I don't think he's gonna be in this movie.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: You think he'll or maybe like a like an in-credit?
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: That would be like something like that, like an in-credit.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: I don't think I think they set up this the core X-Men, like the core comic book X-Men at the beginning.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: And then I think Wolverine's completely That makes sense.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: I it's hard to say.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: I think Wolverine will also be they'll recast him because I think he'll be of that same class.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: I don't think they're gonna go the same way they did in the original Fox Universe movies where he comes in as an old as older than everyone and it's like a teacher.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's gonna happen.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: I think he's gonna come in as the same age.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: Like as like like a student?
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, or something like that.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think he's gonna come in around that same age.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: That'd be weird.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Which makes me really think that he's not gonna be in the first one.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: That he's gonna come in when X-Men are like more of a team and not student.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: Well, that's I feel like that's how it's always been.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: He's always rogue, and then he comes in after there's already something kind of established.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: So that's my theory on that.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: But speaking on that, we can get straight into a little quick X-Men 97 review.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: X-Men 97.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: It's a little bit late.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Uh it finished a couple weeks ago.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Can't remember how long ago.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: I finished like two days ago.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: So that's what we've been waiting on.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I got stuck like episode four, maybe five.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: Actually, I was farther than I thought.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: So I was probably episode five or six, maybe like halfway through five.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Um I just feel like that's when it kinda dives for me.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Uh let's get into it.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: I pros or cons.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: We'll start with cons, I guess, because you already kind of Well, it's just I've okay, so I well, I feel like I need to talk about the beginning and the whole like apocalypse arc.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: I feel like that was good.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: Like I actually liked it even though they were.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Two different timelines?
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, even though they were in two different timelines, uh, it's kind of weird for me.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Um, but I liked uh in Sabinor or uh and his like design.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: I thought that was cool.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: So I think I really liked the past better than I like the future, but the future had to be there because that's where cable went.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: So they had to do that.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: So I was okay with both of it.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: The timelines.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: I just didn't the only thing I didn't like about the second half of Spoilers for X-Men 7.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: The second half of this season, I felt like was just pulling a character and giving them their episode.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: And introducing them not really introducing them, but like kind of showing off what they can do and uh I guess getting us acclimated to them and feelings for them and like Galaris' episode and Nightcrawler's episode.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: Nothing.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: I I don't know if we should talk about that yet, but uh that's definitely a pro.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: So the thing about that is that is very I feel like old school vibe.
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: So as a fan of Smallville, you know, Freak of the Week episodes.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: So I think that's very old school, and that's what they were kind of going for, on top of maybe they didn't have enough material to make a whole drawn-out season with the same storyline.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: That's why they kind of did that.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: They just it's really old school the way they do that.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Take those characters, give them their episode.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Which for characters like Polaris, it's kind of necessary because people don't really know who she is.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: That's actually a good call, because I didn't know who she was.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: I didn't even know she was Magneto's daughter until that episode.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: There's some stuff about all the like family and stuff and the relationships, especially with like Mystique and who her kids are and all that stuff.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: It's stuff you see.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Or like Magic and Colossus being siblings is something you don't really see that much because But it's all canon?
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: So this is yeah.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: So like we've seen Colossus obviously in the X-Men, uh, like the Fox X-Men universe, as well as like with Deadpool and stuff.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: You see, the only movie I think we have with Magic is the what's that movie called?
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: I can't even remember what it's called, but it's the one that has the guy that's in um What character are you even talking about?
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: Stranger Magic.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: She's so Magic is she has like she can has like these dimensional portals, but she also has this big sword and little pet dragon.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: Oh, is that is that the one that died?
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, his sister.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: Oh okay, okay.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: So they barely she was barely in it.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's in Marvel Robles, obviously, but she's in that movie with the Stranger Things guy, Will Byers.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: You're talking when they're in the like in like the asylum place.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: So she's in that movie, and that's it the new mutants?
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: It might be new mutants.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's the movie or if that's the show I know what you're talking about, though.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And she's she's weird in that.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: I didn't know that was his sister.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: So that's another thing that I didn't even know they were siblings, and then that showed up, so I looked it up.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh, okay, cool.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: But interesting.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: So yeah, for characters like Polaris, I think that's necessary.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: I also kind of liked that whole which episode with Nightcrawler where he goes and has to do the courtroom scene and stuff.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Um but then you have episodes like the Wolverine episode.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And that I think that's right after that is when I stopped.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Task Force team.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: It's so random.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think the only really good things that came out of it were you got pretty um like you got really cool com like actual comic book panels, they put 'em in there.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: So like the one where he's like screaming is like the alien Wolverine is a comic book panel.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: The one where he has his claws up or whatever, and he's like tells him to come here.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: He's like pointing his finger or whatever, he has his claws up, and he's like, Come here.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: That's another uh comic book cover.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: So that was pretty cool, but other than that, like I was a really big fan of um what's his name?
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: The one that can basically like Mystique, but different.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I think his own the only difference is like Mystique has to be kind of around the same size and can talk about the alien-looking dude?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: No, the guy or it might be like like the guy I'm talking they on the X-Men that's friends with over in the middle.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he can become Spider-Man and he can become all these people.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: I think his he can take over the physical traits better than Mystique can.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Mystique can take over like the look and appearance and the voice and the subterfuge type stuff.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: I really liked him in the first season, and in this season, I think he's alright, other than he turns into characters for no reason sometimes.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: Like he turns into a character just to drag someone off the screen.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Like he did that with Deadpool, which I get why he did it with Deadpool, because if you've ever watched a Hulk vs.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Wolverine or Wolverine versus Hulk, I can't remember what's got an animated movie.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Omega Red, who's in the cage and Deadpool are on the team that is sent to kill the Hulk and they run into Wolverine.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: So maybe it's like, well, they were on a team anyway, so let's change into Deadpool so I can drag these people out, but that's all he does.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: And then um when he's he turns into Cyclops, obviously to like instantly.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Instagate Wolverine, but he just jumps around like he bounces around and stuff.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: So stuff like that, I'm like, he they did a lot better.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: I think they did better with him um in the first season.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: But I did I for the him in particular, I didn't mind it as much just because I felt like it was a breath of fresh air to see these other characters, and so I mean I every time he switched to somebody I enjoyed it.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: It was cool, no matter what he was doing.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: He used the thing really well.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Like a little boom boom boom boom.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was cool.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: So that was good.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: But then so those episodes are whatever.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: And I do agree that as the season as a whole was I don't think anywhere near the first season, but I still think it was good and it captured some of that like it captured kind of the same feel as the old, old show in some of that first season.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: And it was still good enough.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Um we can get to the ending.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: If you want.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: See the and uh that's also I feel like maybe a con for me was the ending.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: Well besides the whole Nightcrawler situation.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: That was obviously the I think that was the best part for me in was that was that the final episode?
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: I think that yeah, that was the final episode.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: That was probably the best part for me.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: What I didn't like um is I felt like Apocalypse was this big thing and there was like the fight at the end was just nothing.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: Like it was very anticlimactic, yes.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: With Gambit, and it was kind of weird bringing back Gambit, having Apocalypse inside of him.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: I just didn't vibe with it, I don't think.
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: And then Rogue shows up and just takes it right out of him.
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: Easy peasy.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: So she and then she sacrificed all that to get that power.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: Does she still have that power?
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Well, she's I would assume no.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: So it was taken away?
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Because she's she sacrifices herself to be able to defeat Apocalypse.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Is like the words they use.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: It's not like sacrifice yourself to get all this power because obviously that doesn't make any sense.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Why would she need the power if she's gonna sacrifice herself?
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Is she it was the um guy, I forget his name, but the big old I can't Sentinel?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Not Sentinel.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: What's that called?
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: What are they called?
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: The big old creatures they're in uh eternals and oh the uh celestials.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: The celestial was like, I'll give you sacrifice yourself and I'll give you the power to beat Apocalypse.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So I think after Apocalypse is beat, she kind of loses it.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: But I also I also think that I heard saw something that they wanted to um like the plan was to uh kill off uh Nightcrawler anyway.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Switched it to Gambit, realized how many people love Gambit in the beginning of that season.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Switched it.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Which is kind of tough.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: That is crazy.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: But that also goes in the part that the writer was not back.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: He did not Yeah, he was not the same guy.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: He got into some trouble and That's unfortunate because I felt like it definitely declined.
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: You can tell, yeah.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: And then I felt like that episode with Nightcrawler setting him up, showing his morals, and showing how good of a person he was was kinda like I felt like it was a little forced because we haven't seen much of him.
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: And so like through the uh season, you d I mean you don't get much that much of him, and then they forced that episode just to make the loss so much more impactful.
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: And it's like eh It was kind of weird thinking back on that other episode, it makes me kind of like it less.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: So I agree.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: But then I still think that sacrifice is.
- 25:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, I that's what I'm saying.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: The sacrifice part was good.
- 25:41SPEAKER_02: Just the stuff before that, I I just it wasn't that good for me.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: I I agree.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: It was a little bit worse, but I still enjoyed it.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: I'm excited for another season of it.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: I really like the animation style.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: Like everything looks so good and it's so colorful that it it does keep your eyes uh engaged.
- 25:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, engaged.
- 26:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: So I think that's about all we got to say about X-Men 97.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Let us know what y'all thought about X-Men 97.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: You should definitely watch it.
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: Definitely watch if you haven't seen any of it, definitely watch the first and first unbelievable.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: One of my one of one of the episodes, is it episode five?
- 26:15unknown: I don't know.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Episode four or five is one of my favorite things Marvel has done since 2008, whenever Iron Man came out.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: It's good.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: But that's enough of that.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: We'll get right into our top ten.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Let's do it.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: So you want to tell This is the latest top 10 we've probably ever done.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we said what we were doing for our top ten yet.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: We have not.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: You want to go ahead and introduce it?
- 26:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, so for top ten, top ten this week, we're doing actors and actresses.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Um I will say.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: Do you want me to go first?
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you can go ahead.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: Or do you have honorable mentions?
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: I do have some honorable mentions.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: Okay, let me hear your honorable mentions here.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: So some honorable mentions are Robert Downey Jr.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: And this is my like these are we've said it before, this top ten is to get to know us, these are our top ten, like our favorite.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And this is me as of right now.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: My favorite, my favorite actors and actresses.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Michael B.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Jordan, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Hugh Jackman.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: That's my honorable mention.
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: Emma Watson and your honorable mentions.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, most people.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: Michael B.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: Jordan, I didn't even think about Michael B.
- 27:15unknown: Jordan.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: But those are like, if you had asked me a couple years ago, Emma Watson would have been probably number two.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: I thought Emma Watson was gonna be way up there.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: So those are my honorable mentions.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Like I said, that's who I like right now.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: And that's who some of these people have fallen off because I haven't seen them in as much.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: Emma Watson hasn't really done anything in a while, so that's where I'm out with that.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: Do you have any honorable mentions?
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: I don't have any honorable mentions.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: Um but now that I said Michael B.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: Jordan, you want to.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, there's people that I like considered to be on here, uh, like Robert Downey Jr.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: And like it but I the reason I didn't put these people on here is because I like them from one character.
- 27:51SPEAKER_02: Like Robert Downey Jr.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: Chris Evans, Chris Evansworth.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: Like I like them as you need to watch Oppenheimer.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: I do need to watch Oppenheimer, yeah.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: I know I know he's in good stuff.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: There's yeah, there's other stuff you need to watch too with him in it, but.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: But I I just felt like I couldn't just because I just liked him as the one character.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I got you.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Does that make sense?
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: Um so I guess I'll just jump right into my top ten.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: Uh I have just know, don't come at me.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: I'm a boy.
- 28:17SPEAKER_02: So a little boy.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: I like action, I like uh superhero stuff, I like so just keep that in mind.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: Um and my top ten, this is tough.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: It is so tough to rank them as like one through ten, and who's my favorite, who's my least favorite out of these ten.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: It's so, I mean, these could really vary it by the day.
- 28:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: Uh but with that being said, I'm gonna go with number 10, it's Christian Bale.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: Um I really like him as Batman, and I was thinking while I was trying to get that 10th slot filled out, I was like, who?
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: I was like, who, man?
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: I was like, Robert Downey Jr.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: And I couldn't think, and I was like, well, I like Christian Bale as Batman.
- 28:57SPEAKER_02: I was like, but I know he's in a lot of good stuff that I haven't seen, like the prestige and stuff.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: And I was like, but I just haven't seen it, so how can I put him there?
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: And then I Perry mentioned uh American Psycho, and I was like, yeah, he was really good in that, and so I was like, yeah, I'll give him the tent slot.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: And he gives his best college try at being Gore the God Butcher and Thor Love and Thunder.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, that was I don't think that was that's another instance like the Adam Driver thing where they can get acted like that.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: You just gotta put him in one role, and they unfortunately I think they wasted it.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that's true.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I do like him.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: Uh number nine, Johnny Depp.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: Um I feel he's in actually a lot of stuff, but Pirates of the Caribbean main thing, I know him from and really liked him.
- 29:39SPEAKER_02: He's in a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: Um he's Wonka, which is crazy.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: That's weird that that whole is that's just crazy to me.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: But um, I guess it shows it shows his range.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: Edward Scissor Hands.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: Edward Scissor Hands, which I've watched.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I've seen all the way through it, but I've watched it like three times.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Um I actually watched that for a class once.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: That was weird.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: But yeah, Johnny Death's my nine.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: Eight, like this one probably could be higher, is Andrew Garfield.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Um I know some people don't like his Spider-Man, the Amazing Spider-Man movies.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: I love him.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: I love him as Peter Parker.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Um, and he's another one that I was kind of thinking, is that the only reason I like him?
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: But then Hacksaw Ridge.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: Hacksaw Ridge.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: And that one pushes it up there for me.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Because that's one of my favorite movies, and he is so good in that movie.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: So that's he's my and then seven is Jake Dylan Hall.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: Um, I just like I mean, he is really good in a lot of movies.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: Uh, even as Mysterio, I liked him.
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: I mean, it that's not my favorite movie, but I thought he was good.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: But Prisoners, he is so good in prisoners.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: Have you seen Prisoners?
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: Well, okay, yeah.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: Uh I couldn't remember if that was one that you've seen a long time ago.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: Uh I really like him in Prisoners.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Um, I need to watch more movies with him.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: Like, there's one that I tried to watch.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: Uh I think it's called Enemy.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: Have you seen that one?
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: I seen a clip of it, and it's it looks weird.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: Donnie Darko.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: Oh my see, I didn't even think about that one when I put him on here.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: Donnie Darko is such a good one, too.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: Honestly, yeah, Donnie Darko might be an honorable mention from top ten.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: For my movies.
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: But yeah, Jill and all, he's really good.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: Uh number six, I have Ryan Gosling.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: This is kind of a newer one.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: Uh I gotta make sure our lists don't match up too much.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: Project Hail Mary, really good.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: I thought he was great in that movie.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: Uh after seeing him as Ken, he was a goofball, and he honestly played that goofball great.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: So I really liked him in that.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: Uh Project Hail Mary, I really liked it.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: It's pretty close.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: Is it really?
- 31:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:39SPEAKER_02: Uh so I'm super excited about uh uh was it m um Ghost Rider?
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Ghost Rider.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: I'm super excited about Ghost Rider.
- 31:50SPEAKER_02: I'm k which I didn't like the older ones.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: Did you like those?
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: I I like the first one alright.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: Um I just I think I watched them too young and then never watched them again, and I would just didn't really care for him.
- 32:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:03SPEAKER_02: But I'm excited for him to kind of bring back that character.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: Um that's my six.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: At five, these two neck and neck.
- 32:11SPEAKER_02: I have Tom Holland at five.
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: Uh he's probably I mean, uh I've said this before, but he's probably made it to my top Spider-Man.
- 32:21SPEAKER_02: Um and I just like all the movies he's in.
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: I I mean people I some people say he'd he was played too young in the Odyssey, but I liked him in the Odyssey.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: I like anything that he's in, I just like.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: I think he grows with the character, and I think that the best performance I've ever seen out of Tom Holland is when he realizes Odysseus is who Odysseus is in the Odyssey, because he doesn't say a single word, but his eyes start to water, and you can literally see it in his eyes.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Which is like, I mean, you're looking at an actor, you're looking at their eyes.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: That's how you look at people when you're talking to them.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: And his eyes in that scene is probably my favorite performance, my favorite performance in a scene from Tom Holland in that movie.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: Uh but yeah, he's my five.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Four, I have Timothy Chalamet.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: Um The Dune movies, I mean, they're just I think they are the reason that.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Have you seen Mario Supreme?
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: I have not.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: I haven't either.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: We need to watch that.
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: I just heard it's kinda it's kind of weird and it's kind of hard to watch.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: It's stressful, yeah.
- 33:23SPEAKER_02: So I probably will watch it at some point, but we need to watch it.
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: And Wonka.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: Wonka is surprisingly really good.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: Have you seen Wonka?
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 33:32SPEAKER_02: Ooh, you need to watch Wonka.
- 33:34SPEAKER_02: It's kind of silly, it's but it's fun.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: And I I mean the singing is pretty good.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah?
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I like it.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: I've seen the clip of him on like the side of the street singing about chocolate.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: It's yeah, it's pretty good.
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: Uh well like uh some of these before, that kind of shows his range.
- 33:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: And my number one, you'll see, is kind of similar to that.
- 33:58SPEAKER_02: But and then number three, I have Emma Stone.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: She plays in a lot of good movies.
- 34:03SPEAKER_02: I really like people didn't like her as Gwyn, but I liked her as Gwyn.
- 34:07SPEAKER_02: Um I like her begonia.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: She was pretty good.
- 34:11SPEAKER_02: Begonia wasn't my favorite movie.
- 34:13SPEAKER_02: I liked Begonia, but uh she was really good.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: She's the best part of that movie.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Well, her and Jesse Plumens is also really good in that.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: He played a weirdo.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: He played a good weirdo.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: And it's a lot of it's just them two.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: Well, oh, I know, yeah.
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I really liked her in that.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: Um what else do I like her in I was just Lala Land?
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Lala Land.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: Uh with Ryan Gosling.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: Um I haven't seen it in a long time, but it's Have you seen Oh, why can't I think of the movie?
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: There's the Ron Conn with um Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Michael Scott, from The Office.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: What's his name?
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: Uh Steve Carell.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, you yeah, Steve Carell.
- 34:52SPEAKER_02: I did Steve Carell's gonna be on here, but I didn't put him on here.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: They just because I didn't see enough.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Me and my wife watched that movie.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll I'll figure out the movie after this and I'll tell you to watch it.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: It's my favorite rom-com movie of all time.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: I just don't get like I haven't that's why I don't I haven't watched many Steve Carell movies.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: Even though I love I love him as Michael Scott, I haven't seen very many, even though I know I've heard he's good in them.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:13SPEAKER_02: I just don't really vibe with rom coms.
- 35:16SPEAKER_02: Or I don't watch them enough, I guess.
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: Sounds pretty good.
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: And that's probably part of the reason why I only have one actress in my top ten.
- 35:23SPEAKER_02: Uh okay.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: Number two.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: And like I said, like looking back, like these could these could change.
- 35:30SPEAKER_02: I think my one is probably my one.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Um, but other than that, a lot of these kind of like the last five could kinda go be anywhere.
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: But Ryan Reynolds at two.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, really?
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: I really like Ryan Reynolds.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: Um I love the Deadpool movies.
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: Um, and even like the there's one he plays in with The Rock.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: Uh, what's that one called?
- 35:50SPEAKER_02: They're like treasure hunting, and he's like a fake in the Yeah, I like it.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: And I almost put the rock on here, but he plays the same character and everything.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: Um I could argue that about Reynolds, though.
- 36:01SPEAKER_03: No?
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: Maybe.
- 36:04SPEAKER_02: I think he just plays he's just kind of goofy.
- 36:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's a goofy, but I like him.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: At least when I see him in movies, like if he's gonna be in a movie.
- 36:12SPEAKER_02: If you're in a movie, I think I'm gonna watch it.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: That's why that's kind of why I noted that these could kind of shift.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: I think he may be a little high.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: Um, but I think my one is my one, and that's Hugh Jackman.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Um I get what you're saying, the ranged greatest showman.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: Greatest showman, yeah.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: I love the greatest showman.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: Sheep detectives?
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: Sheep detectives, yeah, man.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: And Wolverine, dude.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: He I mean, he's just in so much, and I've seen him in so much.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: And Prisoners.
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: It I kept coming back to Prisoners, and I was like, I can't leave those two out.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: It might be your favorite movie of all time.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: You talk about it a lot.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: It's just good.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:49SPEAKER_02: But it's just so hard to put it at my favorite, just because it's like I will re-watch it at some point, but it's just hard it's going to be so hard to watch.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: So, but that is, I mean, it was in my top ten.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: It's one of my favorites, yeah.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: But that's my top ten.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: No notes other than Ryan Rhodes a little too high?
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: Which uh, yeah, maybe I agree.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Tom Holland's not even on my honorable mentions, so I would say he was too high too, just for me, but which I get that as well.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Um I want to add Christian Bell to my honorable mentions.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: So but um and you said a name that bumped Matt Damon to my honorable mentions, so I can put him in here.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Matt Damon's definitely my honorable mentions, I think.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: So Matt Damon's in everything I like.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: But I'll get into mine.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: So this person wouldn't be at 10, but I forgot to think about that.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: I forgot I thought about him, forgot to put him down.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: Bumped Matt Damon out is J.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: Dylan Hall.
- 37:39SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: I love him.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: I love like I watched Donnie Darko for the first time last year and loved it.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: And then I just got on a J.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Gyllenhaal kick and like Nightcrawler and all these other movies.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: He's just I think he's great.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: He's one of my favorites.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: Um nine is Brad Pitt.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: So not only is he arguably a co-lead in my favorite movie of all time, and Ocean's Eleven, and he's in all those movies, so I obviously those actors are gonna be in there.
- 38:08SPEAKER_00: Um, but I really like him in like Fight Club and Seven and uh Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: Like I've never seen Fight Club, but I I did like Seven I think.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, really good movie.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: He has I like Bullet Train a lot too, and I think he's good in Bullet Train.
- 38:22SPEAKER_02: I started Bullet Train, but I never finished it.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: I know it's it's kind of one of those that you like or you don't, but I think he's good.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I think I like him in most things.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: There's some movies I haven't seen of his that I won't watch because I know it's gonna bring him down, which is like the curious case of Benjamin Button, where he ages backwards.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you don't think that's good?
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: I've heard it's not that great.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: I've seen a lot of clips about it, but I didn't know if it was good or not.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: So stuff like that I probably won't watch.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: There's a movie he plays Death.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: I don't remember what the movie's called, but Blake likes it.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: My buddy Blake likes it, so I might do that one try, but number eight, I have Viola Davis.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Um she's in The Help.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: You would what would you know her from?
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: She's in Prisoners as well.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: She's also I think I know who you're talking.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: Well in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker and stuff.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: She plays uh what's her name in those in those shows?
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: Viola Davis.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: I think that she Oh, okay.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: Always She's like the head of the and she stands out in almost everything she's in, and she plays like a wide range of characters.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: She's one of my favorite actresses right now.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: I suppose I probably should have been put on to her a little bit earlier because she's been in stuff for a while, but like right now, every time she's on the screen, I'm like, yeah, Viola Davis is awesome.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: So I really like Viola Davis.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: Then seven have George Clooney.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: He's a lead actor in my favorite movie of all time.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: So I had to put him in there.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: He's a lead actor.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: Oceans 11.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: I love George Clooney.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: Old Brother, Where Art Thou?
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: I love that movie too.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: I should have seen enough of it.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: Not a huge fan of his Batman stuff, but other than that, I think I like him a lot.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: I feel like we watched those quite a bit.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: We did watch them a lot when we were younger.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: And so, I mean that's kind of now, they're not great.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I haven't watched them recently, but.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: So number six, I have Andrew Garfield.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: I also love Andrew Garfield.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: I think he's great in a lot of stuff.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Um there's a movie that me and Taylor really need to watch.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: She's been asking to watch it.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: I can't remember the name, but he's with it's a romance movie with Florence Pugh.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: And I've heard it's really good, so I need to watch that.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: Carrie watched that.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: She loved it.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: She wants me to watch it.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: So And Florence Pugh is gonna be like I was really close to putting her in my top ten.
- 40:20SPEAKER_02: Especially right now, Florence Pugh's.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: But I just haven't seen enough of her.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: She's in Oppenheimer as well.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah, love Andrew Garfield.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: Um Jennifer Lawrence.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: I think she's also awesome in everything she's in.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: And I like all her like media stuff when she's doing interviews, she seems hilarious, and she's always like has a good vibe about her.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: I think obviously like the Hunger Games movies is where like we'd see her for the first time, but then she's been every time she's another one, every time you see her, it's like I think she gives probably the best performance in almost everything she's in.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: Um next is Morgan Freeman, obviously.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: Love Morgan Freeman.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: Um I just got done.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: I watched uh Shaw Shank Redemption for the first time, and he was awesome in that, so he's one of the goats.
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: But like my Ryan Reynolds pool, does he not just play the same character in everything?
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: No, he has.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: He plays the old wise guy in everything.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: He does play God and Bruce Almighty.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: That's the oldest, wisest guy.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: So maybe you're right.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: No, but Morgan Freeman's got range.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: He's one of the goats.
- 41:21SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's good.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: I like I I said this last week, I think, uh, reviewing seven.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, seven.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: Uh I mean, I everything I didn't think about him, but everything that he's in, I really do like.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: So And then number three, I have Ryan Gosling.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: He's probably my favorite actor, like working right now.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: Uh uh Project Helm Harry is awesome.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I love him in that.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: I like him in um Is it Fall Guy?
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: Is that the movie?
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: I've never seen it, but I like him in Fall Guy, where he plays that um The Stunt Double.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: And he's just he's another one that when he's in something, I'm gonna watch it.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: He's he's a love him in La La Land.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: I watched La La La Land in I think I was in either a sophomore in high school or ninth grade, and we watched it in someone's backyard on a one of those big projector things.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: And I remember loving La La Land.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: Um, love Ryan Gosling.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: Number two is Anne Hathaway.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: She is like, there's I think it's Colin Hoover.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: I knew Anne Hathaway.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: Colleen Hoover writes books and they make movies, and I do not like them.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: It's one of those like romance books that they mass produce all the movies.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: So I think there's one coming out called Verity.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: I think it's by Colleen Hoover.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna watch it because Anne Hathaway's in it.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: She's in it?
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:31SPEAKER_01: Perry read that.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: Uh I didn't know Anne Hathaway was gonna be in it.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's gonna be in it.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna whatever she's in, I'm gonna watch.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: I need to watch In of Oak Street.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: She's in that.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: She's the best performance.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: Um after sitting on it, she's the best performance in the Odyssey.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: She I like her in the Christian Bell Batman movies too.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: Um I just like Anne Hathaway.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: And then number one is Killian Murphy.
- 42:50SPEAKER_03: Ooh, he's my goat.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna get to it.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I watched 28 Days Later.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: And um, he was number one before I watched that movie, but uh Peaky Blinders, Oppenheimer, he plays Scarecrow.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: Um he's my goat.
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: And it was really after watching Peaky Blinders, and then Oppenheimer came out, and I was like, he's my favorite actor ever, probably.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: I really wanted him as Doctor Doom for a long time.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: A lot of people were fancing him as well.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: But yeah, that's my top ten.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: Anything other than Seems like you disagree with the Anne Hathaway performance take in the Odyssey.
- 43:24SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah.
- 43:25SPEAKER_02: Everybody says that she was so good, and she was good, but I don't know.
- 43:30SPEAKER_02: I just it's hard for me sometimes when they're I don't know.
- 43:34SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 43:35SPEAKER_02: But like even Tom Holland and that when they are serious and they're like getting screaming at each other and yeah, it's kind of cringy.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: Rubs me the wrong way.
- 43:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just a little bit.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: But yeah, she was good.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: And that's I mean, that's hard to do, so yeah, you have to give them props.
- 43:48SPEAKER_02: But I will say, my top ten, I think I'm gonna switch Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: Andrew Garfield Above Ryan Reynolds?
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: Dev he's definitely above.
- 43:56SPEAKER_02: I don't know if he's my two.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: That's tough to say, but I think Ryan Reynolds.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: should be closer to eight or nine.
- 44:02SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: Sound good?
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: That's yeah, that's better.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 44:06SPEAKER_02: You got bullied into that.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: Well, I started listing them and then I was trying to switch them around and figure out where I wanted m kind of how it to flow.
- 44:15SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I may have just got caught leaving him there.
- 44:18SPEAKER_02: But I do I mean I do like Ryan Reynolds, but probably not more than some of those people.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: So now it's time for the fun segment.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: Um fun segment.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: Fun segment brought to you by Brandon this week.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: So let's see what you got.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: So I came up with a fun segment.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: Um what we're going to do I have 12 the first we're going to do it twice.
- 44:41SPEAKER_02: The first time we're going to do Marvel movies and you're going to cut two keep one I have twelve.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: So at the end you'll have four movies and uh this so basically the premise you're going to the movies that you cut you are no longer longer allowed to rewatch.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 44:57SPEAKER_02: I'm going to go ahead and say I was thinking you don't get to rewatch them.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: That means you can't show them to your daughter.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: Um but I was like well she can watch them on her MCU and so let's just think let's just think of it you can't rewatch her forever.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 45:10SPEAKER_02: No but you know about them you just can't rewatch them.
- 45:12SPEAKER_02: You can't show her.
- 45:13SPEAKER_02: So that's what this is going to be okay?
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: So you only get to keep four.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: But we're going to do three at a time.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: Three at a time.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: So you got to cut two of them.
- 45:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 45:22SPEAKER_02: So for the first one are you ready?
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 45:25SPEAKER_02: You have Ant-Man, Shang-Chi, and Thor Ragnarok.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 45:34SPEAKER_00: That's kind of tough.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: It is tough.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: I like Shang-Chi and I like Ant Man and I like Thor Ragnarok.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: Is there a clear cut or no?
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: I like Shang-Chi a lot.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: But I think it is a clear cut.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: Because Interesting So just to think about obviously it's going to change after this.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: But if I cut Shang-Chi I can still rewatch the Infinity saga.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: Straight through it.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: It's just that movie you can't watch yeah.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah and it's Thor Ragnarok is very important for that.
- 46:06SPEAKER_00: And so I'd say cut Ant-Man cut Shang-Chi keep Thor Ragnarok.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: And I like that movie.
- 46:13SPEAKER_02: Okay yeah so Thor Ragnarok is definitely I feel like the most rewatchable so I think Ant Man's pretty watchable too I haven't rewatched Shang-Chi so I'm rewatched Ant Man a lot?
- 46:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:23SPEAKER_02: A couple times.
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: I've maybe I need to rewatch it.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen the It's funny.
- 46:27SPEAKER_02: I've seen it probably twice.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: But uh Thor Ragnarok And it's not as like intense and crazy it's more grounded and it's also funny.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: But Shang-Chi's fun.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 46:35SPEAKER_02: The action's good.
- 46:36SPEAKER_02: Um okay next we have Spider-Man Homecoming Captain America Winter Soldier and Infinity War.
- 46:45SPEAKER_02: Oh no there's a clear cut.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah Spider-Man Homecoming can go.
- 46:50SPEAKER_02: Okay but then you're going to have the whole origin story of Spider-Man you're going to lose it.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah but I've been I can show her five different origin stories for Spider-Man Yeah but you ain't going to have the And I still got Civil War.
- 47:02SPEAKER_02: That's true.
- 47:03SPEAKER_02: Which introduction and then he's going to leave far from home?
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: I like it.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: But no I'm going to go That's definitely the worst oh no If you really threw something in this when you said I can't show it's my dark she has to watch Infinity War.
- 47:18SPEAKER_02: That's true.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: But I think Winter Soldier is a better movie.
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: Oh I don't know.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: They're both pretty good.
- 47:23SPEAKER_02: Oh come on.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: Cut Winter Soldier.
- 47:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: I would have to agree so keep Infinity War.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: I would have to agree it's tough I that's actually a kind of a question I wanted to follow up with was um where like what your take was on a like a solo movie compared to those big Avengers.
- 47:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: And the Infinity War is so good because of all the solo stuff.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: Like that's why it's so good because everything comes together.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: But I don't know that's tough.
- 47:51SPEAKER_02: But you're going to Infinity War?
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: Cut Catherine American Winter Soldier.
- 47:55SPEAKER_02: Which that one I haven't rewatched that many times but it is good.
- 47:58SPEAKER_02: I've rewatched that one probably the most really dang so the third round you have Black Panther Iron Man 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy 1.
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah so this goes against my Oh no.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: Which one is your favorite first of all probably my favorite and the one I would want to watch with Sawyer the most is Guardians of the Galaxy 1.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: But unlike not giving a crap really about Spider-Man origin I have to s you have to start with Iron Man.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: It's the whole it's the beginning.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: So Iron Man is one of the Really over I mean Guardians of the Galaxy is such a rudder movie.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: I think Black Panther's a better movie too Yeah I agree but Guardians of the Galaxy is I don't know Iron Man 1's good.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah Guardians of the Galaxy is good but we go with Iron Man 1?
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah we're just not even going to watch Guardians of the Galaxy because that you can You can't watch the other ones.
- 48:51SPEAKER_02: I can but it's weird but then Infinity War is just going to be like what's going on yeah so you gotta watch the other ones Iron Man 1 really so your least favorite movie out of the three is the one you're keeping I wouldn't even say that.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: I think it's still good.
- 49:09SPEAKER_00: I think they're all pretty close but And you need to show it to your daughter?
- 49:15SPEAKER_02: I have to yeah okay yeah alright for the final round we have Deadpool and Wolverine into the Spider Verse and Captain America Civil War.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: Into the Spiderverse is what I'm keeping yeah I feel like you have to keep that always that one's easy.
- 49:33SPEAKER_02: But you're losing the Civil War you're losing the Spider-Man you're losing that that whole entire story Deadpool and Wolverine's an easy cut on that one.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: And then yeah I know that sucks but yeah if we if you said keep one cut three for my last four I'd say End of the Spider-Verse is what I'm keeping really out of all of them?
- 49:52SPEAKER_02: That's true yeah.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: I mean it's just the best one actually maybe not because she don't know what's going on but that's true she hasn't seen it on the TV.
- 50:01SPEAKER_02: Have you not has she not seen the other ones?
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: No.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: None of them?
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: She hasn't watched too much the first movie she ever watched was Oceans 11.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: Like as soon as we bought her back from the hospital but um other than that she's watched End of the Spider Verse a couple times.
- 50:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah I watched it with her yeah or no maybe I watched A Cross.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: Well that's good she's seen both.
- 50:19SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah there you're caught up yeah she is caught up okay so we have Into the Spider-Verse Iron Man 1 Infinity War and Thor Ragnarok.
- 50:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah I think it's pretty solid Iron Man 1 is still tough for me.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: Thor Thor Ragnarok on almost all those other lists would have been cut probably it would have been cut.
- 50:38SPEAKER_02: That's kind of how why I started that way just so you could get rid of it.
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 50:42SPEAKER_02: I mean that's it's not bad.
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: You try it seemed like you tried to keep the main storyline of the MCU together until the end where it just couldn't but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: And then we just I cut all MCU and just went straight to the into the SpiderBird's line last time.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 51:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 51:00SPEAKER_02: So round two that was kind of like a warm-up I guess you could say just to kind of get a feel um this one is going to be an you've heard of an Avengers lineup?
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: So this is an Avengers lineup to take on Doom and Thanos.
- 51:14SPEAKER_00: At the same time?
- 51:15SPEAKER_02: At the same time.
- 51:15SPEAKER_02: They're paired up however you give me these are not Marvel characters.
- 51:20SPEAKER_02: Some of them are this is everything.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: Okay never mind.
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: So we might have a chance then.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah so this is like um I mean think of all your heroes think of all your power beings okay all right here we go and I'm not thinking about who's my favorite I'm thinking about how we can win.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: Got it.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: So first things first we have A-Train from the boys.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: If you don't know him he's a speedster and then we have Wonder Woman and Cyclops.
- 51:47SPEAKER_02: Keeping Wonder Woman.
- 51:48SPEAKER_02: Keeping Wonder Woman.
- 51:50SPEAKER_02: I don't know Cyclops is tough A-Train's easy cut.
- 51:53SPEAKER_02: A-Train's easy cut even though with a speed I think he's the weakest speedster in media probably.
- 51:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah I'd agree.
- 51:58SPEAKER_02: That's kind of why I put him in here because I feel like if I put Flash I mean that's two like Flash Sonic um Sonic you're taking over that?
- 52:05SPEAKER_00: Over Wonder Woman and stuff?
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: No no I'm talking about as a speedster.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: Oh okay even over I don't know Sonic's quick but um no yeah Cyclops can be tough and he can do some damage.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: But I think we're going to see in the movie that he's not enough so I'm going to go with Wonder Woman.
- 52:22unknown: Okay.
- 52:22SPEAKER_00: I think it's Wonder Woman for sure.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: Cyclops has an argument I guess but A-Train has no chance.
- 52:27SPEAKER_02: So as you do this you got to think of who's going to be your who's going to be your like strength tank and like who's going to be your Wonder Woman can be a tank.
- 52:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:35SPEAKER_02: Who's going to be your leader?
- 52:36SPEAKER_02: Who's going to be your strategist?
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: I like Wonder Woman.
- 52:41SPEAKER_02: I think she definitely over A-Train definitely probably over Cyclops yeah I would have to agree with that.
- 52:45SPEAKER_02: Okay, so for the next one we have Hawkeye Eleven from Stranger Things and Anakin Skywalker.
- 52:53SPEAKER_02: Anakin Skywalker.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Do I get Darth Vader with Anakin Skywalker?
- 52:58SPEAKER_02: Uh no I decided that Anakin Skywalker is um before he becomes Darth Vader everything before that and so his abilities before.
- 53:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: That's still easy for me.
- 53:10SPEAKER_00: He has Eleven's powers but better.
- 53:13SPEAKER_00: Like he has more control over the force which is basically what 11 has.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah that's true.
- 53:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah the look and he has a lightsaber on hindsight yeah in hindsight and he's trained obviously but yeah so it's yeah that matchup was a little rough but what is Anakin Skywalker gonna do against Doom of Thanos?
- 53:26SPEAKER_02: You think he can take him on?
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: He can just take the gauntlet off with a force.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: You think he can really Yeah Okaywalker That would be crazy I mean if that yeah okay uh next round Nightwing Deadpool and Reed Richards So based on like comic book stuff I think Deadpool has the best chance to help me out.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know what you're gonna say last but Nightwing and Reed Richards are significantly better options to be a strategist.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm But Deadpool I can't that like he's let's say you're just gonna stick around for a long time.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: He ain't gonna die he's just gonna But what like how what is he really gonna do to affect them?
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: Do I like how long okay this will help yeah do I have forever to run time or no like it starts do I just have to beat him eventually?
- 54:22SPEAKER_02: No like if if you get like I got one battle and if we lose it's over.
- 54:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah you know they're coming you have I'll give you like for your strategist I'll give you like a week.
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah Reed Richards yeah okay like if it was infinity time I would get Deadpool and I would just have him wait until they died and he didn't that's pretty much that's reasonable.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: Okay so we got Reed Richards Anakin Skywalker Wonder Woman.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: Yep here we go this one's fun I think I mean okay we have Insomniac Spider-Man Albus Dumbledore and Smallville Clark Kent So you got smallville Spider or Superman What episode of Smallville the last episode I would say I was thinking about that too I was I'll probably go with like his jump school right before he gets like freeze breath so he has like yeah maybe like he has like heat vision and he can run and jump real high he's strong but he can jump far but he can't fly he doesn't have the freeze can't fly he can jump far.
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: Well he gets the freeze breath soon he gets it in high school I think or maybe it's right out of high school because he sneezes the door off.
- 55:30SPEAKER_00: I know he's in high school when he gets his laser vision because he's in class.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah so that's still Superman though is Superman who was the other one it was either Albus Dumbledore was the other one.
- 55:42SPEAKER_02: It wasn't gonna be Spider-Man Insomniac Spider-Man I know he's kind of a menace but it's a menace yeah Superman I mean he's Superman even though it's not Superman Superman but the only thing I will say is Buddy is getting dogged on by some regular meteor freaks.
- 56:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah well I think I think we're cooked no matter what I think we lost you think so yeah I think I put together the best list and I think we still lost let's go okay so I think Thanos let's go he doesn't have the gauntlet so you're preventing him from getting the gauntlet and then you have Doom coming in with him's tough he is tough.
- 56:18SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about either just making it just straight Doom Wonder Woman will carry us because she's gonna be stronger than everybody else that I have so far.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: Uh she's not stronger than Clark Kent.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: She is smallville Clark Kent she's stronger than no way she's pretty close anyway she's definitely s stronger than Smallville's Clark Kent getting beat up by meteor freaks yeah I but that's because they got they ain't got no kryptonite Doom.
- 56:43SPEAKER_00: I don't know Doom seems like he could get some kryptonite without the gauntlet then we can't reality And also got a gauntlet of kryptonite well if he had the infinity sounds he could just make kryptonite well then I still think we're cooked but you think you're cooked?
- 56:59SPEAKER_00: I don't know I think Wonder Woman's carrying but I don't think so you didn't want to go with Dumbledore?
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah not really though Okay I mean I guess we could what's he gonna do?
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: I don't know he's got some crazy stuff going on yeah he's got a bunch of spells and stuff I guess but over yeah it's just different fighting can I am I gonna be able to convince Dumbledore to use the curses he's gonna use everything he's got ooh a Vaticadabra?
- 57:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah I know he That'd be crazy but it would it work on them is Doom just gonna catch a Vaticadaver and shoot it back at him?
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: That's a good question I don't know can he do that?
- 57:35SPEAKER_00: Is there any running involved?
- 57:36SPEAKER_02: Dumbledore's old man is there any running involved that's true smallville's or smallville Clark Kent is a speedster too he's fast yeah oh yeah I feel like you definitely got a chance I think I got a chance but I don't think we're winning if uh maybe I think Wonder Woman's gonna help a lot but like regular Thanos I think Smallville Clark can Wonder Woman can take him out you need to read up on some Wonder Woman she's tough movies Buns so yeah it wasn't very good.
- 58:05SPEAKER_02: But I think that's a decent team I mean yeah let us know what y'all think do we win I think it's tough he doesn't think they win I feel like the Clark can't and Wonder Woman can easily take out Thanos.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah and then you have the four against Doom because Reed Richards he's smart like he's planning something to take out Thanos and then T also has the relationship exactly that's a man here.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah okay yeah I thought it was good that was a good segment I think it's got a good chance when you do that again maybe I'll cook up something for you sounds good all right nearing the end last thing watch list review remember you can we'll review these they're gonna be some of them gonna be older movies um if you haven't seen them before watch them with us let us know what you think um Brandon had to watch Goodwill Hunting Goodwill Hunting and I watched 28 Days Later and as we were talking I think that because we didn't look at the list yet we should just both watch 28 days later Bone Temple Yes that's that was our plan I forgot about that that's a good call.
- 59:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah 28 Years later Bone Temple we're both gonna watch that's both on both of our watch lists that's what we're gonna watch watch it if you want to yep and then we'll review that next week yeah so awesome you want to get started you want me to get started um I guess I'll go.
- 59:18SPEAKER_02: Okay about Goodwill hunting here we go score out of a hundred are you ready yeah take a guess no I can't I haven't been good at these I gave it an 85 out of a hundred definitely good um different from my hero uh vibe that I like um it's really different I did have some things that I was kind of like iffy on um but I feel like it made up for it in the end um there one thing I really liked I've talked about this before that always bumps movies up for me quotes oh yeah and I feel like there was some good ones in this one you're gonna go see a better girl yeah that was good uh he stole my line you know that wasn't the script what was it he stole my line he sat there he sat there did a bunch of takes where he holds the paper and there was takes where he didn't say anything he just looked at it and smiled at which I think is what was in the script yeah and then he tried a bunch of different lines and then they were like alright we gotta be done he's like oh I got it I got it I got it I do like that and then he took it and said he stole my line I think Robin Williams was the best part for me.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_02: Like uh like Matt Damon was good but I guess I can kind of get into that now.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_02: Um so spoilers for Goodwill hunting if you haven't seen it um so it's the whole premise that uh this kid, this punk kid, he runs around with his friends and I feel like that part of it, him like really being a punk was kind of get I was like man uh it's kind of annoying the stuff that he does.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_02: Because you want to root for the main character.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_02: Um looking back on it obviously I can see why they did it.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah but the way he acts and he's a genius so this kid punk kid is it like once in a lifetime once in a generation once in a like millennia yeah genius.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah and um so he he flaunts it too like he doesn't try to not around his friends but when it comes down to it he will do it.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_02: Words is his fist like yeah the bar scene when that guy's coming and he's supposed to be this semi-jock but also someone that's supposed to be smart like he's uh going to whatever prestigious school and he's supposed to be smart and he like schools him on yeah basically he keeps it to himself how smart he is but when it comes down to it if someone does like insult someone's intelligence like his buddies or his he will let them know about it.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah so he's not afraid to do that.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it kind of got to me like man this guy is a jerk.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_02: But um like again um there's a reason for that.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_02: I did like after he schooled that guy the guy from Harvard and uh whatever he got the number from that girl and the he's like you like apples?
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_02: He shoved the thing in the in the window and says hey you like them apples and I was like at first I was like that's I was like that's kind of cringy but it was kind of kind of nice it was kind of fun and unique.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_02: I wasn't I wasn't expecting it and I was like that was good.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_02: But yeah so this genius kid he's a janitor at a prestigious school MIT and at this school there is a professor that he what did he get uh did he get a Nobel Prize?
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_02: He got some type of I think it's Nobel but he's like this world renowned professor that solved this equation took him years to do and uh he puts it out on the board for his students to try and Will Hunting the main character Matt Damon's character he solves it while doing like his janitor duties and they don't know who it is they can't figure it out so he the professor puts another one out there.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_02: They catch him uh solving it again but they think at first he's doing graffiti but he's actually uh uh solving the problem they figured it out so the professor takes a liking to him come to find out uh Will hunting he sees these like they're they're always goofing around their friends and so they get in this fight he gets uh caught by the police taken to jail the professor gets him out on one condition that he goes see the therapist and then he kind of like works under the professor and this genius kid is just a jerk like it's not working with any therapist um he's just too smart for all of them and that none of nobody can figure him out and then uh you get introduced to Robin Williams' character which is the old the other professor's former uh classmate and that's when things really start to shift for Will Hunting he's still that jerk yeah but finally you get to start seeing him uh change his perspective based on Robin Williams's character and the things that he says is like that's when I'm like oh my gosh that's the best part is because uh like I have some uh like that I noted uh I I can't remember when he said this I don't remember if it was the second time they came when he was by the water when they took him to the water like the pond or whatever but he said uh you don't know about real loss because it only occurs when you've loved something more than you love yourself.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_02: And I felt like I mean it was like dang because you see Will Hunting is he's consumed by his like just him and his friends.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_02: Like he like nobody can get like in like kind of past his guard like into his feelings and stuff.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_02: So but you see him just sit there thinking about it and he's like like he's really contemplating his actions and how he's been in the past.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_02: So that was good.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_02: Uh but basically I mean he meets this girl the one he got the number from and they kind of do their thing for a little bit but then he kind of pushes her away and you're like what's going on why is he pushing her away which I was that that's why I kept going like man this guy is such a jerk why is my character so like uh annoying and like he's just too smart for his own good but then he keeps going to these therapy sessions um and keeps connecting further and further with Sean which is Robin Williams' character and uh he keeps making like getting further and further uh connections with him and eventually they kind of discuss the girl and how he's not gonna go with her.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_02: Um and how he's kind of done with her but and then he brings him back by telling him about his past with his wife and their connection.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_02: And that was really good.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_02: Um but I've kind of I've been rambling about the this the movie for too long.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_00: But uh the most you talked about I've watched this review I'm kind of excited It.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: I'm enjoying it.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_02: I mean, it was good.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_02: It was really good.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_02: And the bet so the best part is that finally he starts this therapist, he is like making a change in Will Hunting's life.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_02: He Will Hunting is actually starting to think about these things and other people.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: And uh even though he pushed his girlfriend away, he goes and he keeps going to see the therapist even though you don't think he's going to.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_02: Oh, and the scene with uh while he's working with his buddy, Ben Affleck, Ben Affleck's character, um, and that was a good quote too.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_02: I can't remember what it was exactly, but he basically says, the best part of my day is like the ten seconds that I go up to your door, knock, and hope that you're not there.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_02: Hope thing hoping that you're not there.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_02: And I was like, dang, that was good.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_02: Because it just shows that his friends, they really do care for him.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_00: Like more than anything.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_00: They know he has potential.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_00: They know he's not on the same level as them.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_00: And you gotta think, they probably think that they're dragging him down, and that's what but that's what he's saying.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_00: Not that like, I hope you're just missing.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_00: He's like, I hope that I go to your house and to like these slummy houses and knock on your door and you've decided that to do something with the gift you've been given and you're not here.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_02: Because that's the only scene, like out of all the scenes.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_00: That's a good one.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_00: That's a good scene, too.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_02: Out of all the scenes that are in that movie, I that's the only one I saw um before.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_02: And I didn't know what it was about.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_02: I was like, what I was like, I don't know what that's supposed to mean.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_02: That's kind of rude, but it made sense in the movie.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_02: It was really good.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: Um I'm trying to think.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: So he m he goes he keeps going to these therapy sessions, and finally you find out, like, it's towards the end, it's like his 21st birthday, and it's that's when his therapy is is over.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_02: That's when he's kind of free and he's released.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_02: Um and you find out, well, I guess you kind of knew this throughout the whole thing, but he was uh foster kid and he was abused really bad when he was a child, and you start to realize, okay, that is why he didn't let anybody get close to him.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he pushes everybody out.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_02: Um, the only person that could get close was that girlfriend for a little bit, his buddies obviously, and then Robin Williams, the therapist.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_02: And Robin Williams just says, It's not your fault, it's not your fault, it's not your fault.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_02: And it finally breaks through to him, he starts he breaks down, cries, and uh you realize that that's why he was the way he was.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_02: Um he was afraid of letting people in, um, getting too close to him, and so I feel like that was the payoff for the whole movie.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_02: And so that's why I really liked it.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_02: And then yeah, he said, You gotta go see a better girl.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_02: Uh he finally he was he accepted this job that this probably I mean, who knows what the job was, probably high-paying something.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_02: And then he decides he's gonna leave and he's gonna go see a better girl.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_02: But there was a uh quote that I forgot in one of their therapy sessions, one that I really liked.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_02: You're always afraid to take the first step because all you see is every negative thing ten miles down the road.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_02: But you and then he's and then a little bit later, but you can do anything you want, you are bound by nothing.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_02: What you are what are you passionate about, what do you want?
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_02: And I was that was the best part.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_02: I think that was like the pinnacle of the movie.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh my gosh, that was good.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_02: Because if he I mean, not only is Will Hunting learning and like all these life lessons, but we are too.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_02: Like, I feel like it teaches the uh audience, the people watching, like the viewer, like you can learn something too from this.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_02: And that's what I like about movies sometimes.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it's good.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_00: So if you haven't figured it out yet, you need to watch this movie.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_00: It is really good.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_00: It's a good one.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_00: I gave a lot of spoilers, but it is really good.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_00: Um I think that's the second high tied for the second highest rated movie on the podcast so far for you.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_00: Did you give the Odyssey an 85 as well?
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_00: Uh you gave like an 82, 83.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_00: I think he gave it an 82, 83.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_00: So it's the second highest movie you rated so far.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_02: Spider-Man gave an 91.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was really good.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_00: Good hunting is good.
- 1:09:51SPEAKER_02: I've heard that I have a buddy that's watched it and he recommended it to me before.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_02: He said the second time rewatching it was even better.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_02: And I can kind of see that maybe seeing just how bad and how screwed up Will Hunting was and really how much he changed.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_02: Because at first I was watching it, I was like, man, this guy, whatever.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_02: And then it slow transitioned to hit the payoff.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_00: But if I barely so get rid of those thoughts that you had about him just being a jerk, but yes, yeah.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_00: So that's yeah.
- 1:10:18SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_00: I'm glad you liked it.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: So I'll get into mine, be pretty brief.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_01: 28 days later.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_00: So 28 days later, score 82 out of 100.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_00: Probably I haven't watched Train to Busan, Business, Busan.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_00: Um, it's a dubbed over movie that is a zombie movie that people say is the best zombie movie ever.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_00: Haven't seen that yet, but it's probably this is probably my favorite zombie movie ever.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_00: The zombies are tough.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_00: Like they are rough.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_00: They are like interesting.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_00: Rick Grimes don't stand no chance against these ones.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_02: When you find well.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_00: Because those walking dead zombies be walking.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but Rick Grimes.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_02: Come on out.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_02: And they only come out at night.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_00: Or like in the dark.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, yeah, they come out during the day, but yes, it's safer.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_00: Like they Oh yeah.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_00: They're out during the day, but they don't they'd be sleeping kind of yeah.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_02: But dude, the first scene when you see them, oh my gosh.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_02: When he's stay- Larry, uh where is he, a church?
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_00: He goes into the church and they're always stands up, bro.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_00: Well, at first it looks like you don't know what's going on.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_00: So he wakes up in the hospital.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_00: Um, he was a bike courier, courier, and he got hit by a car.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_00: So he was in a coma, and he wakes up in the hospital and everybody's gone.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_00: Um, I wasn't expecting to be flashed by Killian Murphy at the very beginning.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_00: Um, so spoiler warning, also, be prepared for that.
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_00: It's way worse than 28 years later.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_00: But it's so much worse.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_00: So, um, so 28 days wakes up, he's in the hospital, and uh he's like walking around, he doesn't know what's going on, but he sees like this wall that has all the flyers on it, like missing kids, and then the newspaper that says the outbreak and stuff.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_00: And he walks into this church, and it almost looks like a bunch of people that are bunkered in there sleeping at first.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_00: It either looks like that or just a bunch of dead people.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_00: Like there it's you but you can see people like resting their head, and it just looks like a bunch of people huddled up together.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_00: And he goes, Hello?
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_00: And two of them stand up and shoot and like look at him.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_00: And that was pretty good.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_00: Um and he then like the uh pastor comes in there and he's all like doing the same stuff.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_00: Like he's like, and he hits him and he's like, Oh, I shouldn't have done that, I'm so sorry.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_00: But then he's like still coming after him and he realizes something's going on.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_00: Gets saved by these two people that have been working together.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_00: Um then he's like, Oh, I gotta go see my family, which is also pretty devastating.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_00: So he goes to see his family and they come with him and they had passed away.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_00: Uh they had unalived themselves, like I think like pills or something, so they didn't have to deal with being in vet infected.
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_00: So he tries to find solace in that, but there's a picture that his mom was holding because they were dead on the bed.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_00: And uh his mom was holding, and then he flips it over and it says, We left you, we love you, we left you to sleep.
- 1:13:04SPEAKER_00: Don't wake up.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_00: And that was like, ooh, because she would they were like you have to imagine they sat by his bed that whole time, like just hoping he wakes up, hoping he wakes up, and then all this started happening, and then they were like, I hope he doesn't wake up.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_00: So that was pretty tough.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_00: One of the people he's with ends up dying, and he's so he ends up running around with this girl, and they find as they're on their way back, there's this like big, like condo looking skyscraper like apartment buildings, and there's Christmas lights flashing.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_00: There's no electricity, so that was interesting at first, and they were like, let's go there because it's like flashing.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_00: They end up going there and find a father and his daughter.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_00: The other than Killian Murphy, the father is probably my second, my favorite character in it.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_00: Um I really liked him.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_00: He plays Mad Eye Moody and Harry Potter, and I thought he did really good.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_00: And they just kind of do their own thing.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_00: They hear, I mean, typical zombie stuff, like there's a radio frequency frequency that they dial to and it says like, hey, there's refuge here, come here, they have a military base.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_00: So then most of the movie is them well the most of the first half of the movie is them getting there.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_00: Um and all that I thought was great.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_00: I love that stuff.
- 1:14:16SPEAKER_00: I love when they find the somehow find the one shopping center, I guess, probably in all of the UK that isn't rated.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_00: And everything's there, so they're like, they go shopping, and then he's like, uh, Killing Murphy's character goes to like grab some like cheap whiskey off the shelf, and then the dad's like, well, if we're gonna take all this, we need to take at least something good.
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_00: And so he grabs his bottle and he starts reading, and it's like double barreled, starts reading it all, and Killing Murphy just kind of walks off and he's just over there like talking about how good this whiskey is, and he turns around and he's not there and he's like he starts shoving them all in there.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_00: And that was cool.
- 1:14:48SPEAKER_00: That was a great change of pace because that there's not other than when they're at first and they drive under the tunnel and they have to change the flat tire with all the infected coming after them.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was pretty stressful, but for a good part there, it's literally just like like fun kind of make relaxes you a little bit.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_00: Um they end up at these like ruins and they sleep there, and it's like it's good vibes.
- 1:15:11SPEAKER_00: So they finally make it to this place they're trying to go, and um, I think it's Manchester is where they get to, and as they're pulling up, they see that all of Manchester's on fire, and they pull up to where this base is supposed to be, and there's no one there, but there's dead soldiers.
- 1:15:23SPEAKER_00: So the dad starts freaking out because he promised that he's trying to keep his daughter alive.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_00: He he has been the rock this whole time when everybody else is stressing out and thinking everything's gonna go wrong.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_00: The dad has been like keeping everybody together, like it's gonna be okay.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_00: Once he gets there, he finally, for the first time, everybody else has had their freak out moments.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_00: For the first time in the whole movie, he freaks out and gets really upset because and now he doesn't know what to do.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_00: Um he ends up what does he do?
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_00: He throws a rock, there's a bird that's like eating a body, an infected body, like on top of this thing.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_00: And he like throws the rock at the bird to get it to shut up.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_00: And the way you get infected in this is obviously you're bitten, but then if like your saliva or your like blood mixes, so if you get any saliva in your mouth or blood in your mouth or in your eyes, then you will be infected.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_00: So he throws that rock and then it startles the bird, the bird flies away, it jolts the body, and then a drop of blood falls into his eye.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_00: So then you know he's infected, um, and they don't want to like the girl that Killian Murphy was running around with at first is like will not hesitate to put you down if she knows you're about to be infected.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_00: Like that's her whole thing.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_00: She's like, I will not hesitate.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_00: And she even tells Killian Murphy that, like, if I know it, I will not not even a second.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_00: And but when this happens, they're all like hesitating.
- 1:16:44SPEAKER_00: They're like, we don't want to do this, we don't want to do this, and right when he's about to do it, he gets shot.
- 1:16:48SPEAKER_00: And you're kind of like, if you've ever seen the mist, it's almost the same vibe where like as soon as everything bad happens, you realize they were literally right there because the guy gets shot and you realize that the base was just like in the woods behind it.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_00: So that was devastating because they were right there the whole time.
- 1:17:07SPEAKER_00: Might be kind of lucky that he didn't have to go because another trope in zombie movies is humans are just as bad as infected, sometimes even worse.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_00: They go to this military base, all is good and well, and you realize they have one of their uh army members chained up because he turned into affected, they're trying to study him.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_00: And the main guy for the military people is like, I promised them a future, and women are that future, so you have to basically let us take these women and use them to build whatever.
- 1:17:36SPEAKER_00: And Killy Murphy is not about it, as you can imagine.
- 1:17:39SPEAKER_00: So he gets they take him out to the woodshed basically to put him down with another officer that was trying to defend him, and he ends up getting away, comes back, epic nighttime action scene where he lets the zombies inside, saves the girls, and does all this, and that is all really cool.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_00: That's probably my favorite part of the whole movie was when it's raining and he's running around and saving people.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_00: And they end up getting away, and you see at the end that they found a little house on the water that an airplane flies over and they get help.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_00: So that's all pretty good.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_00: Um I really like the ending a lot.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_00: I thought that this was one of the better versions of that trope where the humans are just as bad.
- 1:18:19SPEAKER_00: Um, and they even hint at it when they're at the table and they're eating dinner for the first time and the soldiers are talking.
- 1:18:25SPEAKER_00: And the one of the soldiers is like, I'm saving this for everything, gets back to normal.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_00: And then um the one of the other guys is like, Well, we have had like it's like, is are we getting back to normal now?
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_00: Or is it going back to normal, or is this gonna be normal whenever we all die because we and like everything used to be just nature and stuff, so is that normal when we they kill us all out and then the infected die?
- 1:18:49SPEAKER_00: And then the main bad guy soldier is like, Well, I think we've just been doing war and killing people all the time anyway, so I think it's normal right now.
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_00: I think this is natural, and it's kind of a hint at the even though the infected are there, it's just normal to him just to be this chaos and stuff.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was pretty good.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, overall pretty good.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_00: A couple notes, very early 2000s.
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_00: Like, if you bought this at a movie town, it's gonna have that ad at the beginning where it's all like the pirated disc ad where it's like playing all that music and it's cutting.
- 1:19:19SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm talking about?
- 1:19:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's like don't pirate movies.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_00: It definitely would have had that on the front.
- 1:19:23SPEAKER_00: That's what I was thinking.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_00: Um Killian Murphy's my goat, so obviously I loved him in it.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_00: I like like the dad, and I thought the ending was very good.
- 1:19:30SPEAKER_00: There's a couple notes I had, and humans are also the enemy.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_00: So that was pretty good.
- 1:19:34SPEAKER_00: Um I'll quickly touch on the next two.
- 1:19:36SPEAKER_00: I won't go through them all.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_00: The second one, not nearly as good as the first.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_00: Is that weeks?
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_00: Not months.
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_00: 28 weeks later, yeah.
- 1:19:42SPEAKER_00: Because there's a month.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_00: There's a 28 months after, but that's like a low budget film that someone else made.
- 1:19:47SPEAKER_00: So I didn't watch it.
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_00: So 28 weeks later, um they quarantined this section of Britain and like the US Army is watching over it.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_00: Um Jeremy Raynard's in it, he's one of the main people.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_00: Um these kids come back.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_00: First of all, there was no scenes as good as or as crazy as some of the scenes in the second one.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_00: This opening scene to the second one's the best scene in all of them.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_00: Um there's another scene where a kid is in a group of people under like in this basement and they an infected gets in and they're all like smushed together and they just it just starts going crazy.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_00: That one's cool.
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_00: Pretty cringy moment where a guy tilts a helicopter forward to cut up a bunch of zombies.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_00: But so that one was all it was good.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_00: It's worth watching just to have it follow up and to see where things go.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_00: But obviously, everything's good and great, and then it breaks out again, pretty much.
- 1:20:41SPEAKER_00: And then 28 years later, is very good.
- 1:20:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, I heard it was really good.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_00: It's a newer movie.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_00: Um, it was pretty good.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_00: I really liked it.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_00: I was trying to get a vibe on Aaron Taylor Johnson's character, the dad.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_00: Like, is he a like I can't tell if he's good or if he's bad.
- 1:20:57SPEAKER_00: He's like, he has these moments, and then you think he's a bad dad, but then they're sitting in the house, and he's like, the kid's like, I miss.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_00: He's like, no, you did good.
- 1:21:05SPEAKER_00: It's like I it's like I've been out here with plenty of people hunting zombies, and they have also missed, and this is your first time, and we ran into a alpha.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, you're fine.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_00: Then you find out he's uh cheating on his wife who has cancer and all kinds of stuff, so not a great guy, but I thought, I mean, it was all pretty good.
- 1:21:23SPEAKER_00: I really like the um like remember we must die thing.
- 1:21:28SPEAKER_00: So the doctor tries to console the boy and his that his mom is dying of cancer, like remember we must die, like everybody must die, and then also remember we must love, and he kind of consoles them, and so I think it's pretty good, and I'm excited for the next one.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_00: Also, in the be the very beginning of like the very very beginning of 28 years later, is you see a character, a boy, whose dad is a priest, hands him a cross necklace and tells him to hide, then it almost makes you want to feel like it's someone in the movie, like Aaron Taylor Johnson's character.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_00: Then you realize it's this guy Jimmy who you've seen hints of because they found a infected hanging upside down with Jimmy carved in it.
- 1:22:07SPEAKER_00: When him and his mom are walking by, they walk by a building that has like um like the end is near, stuff like that, and it says Jimmy carved in it, which is and then you find out it's just this weird dude that's in centers and I'm excited to see him as another villain.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, or another I guess he'll probably be a villain.
- 1:22:27SPEAKER_00: I you'd have to imagine.
- 1:22:28SPEAKER_00: He's got the cross upside down.
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_00: He's very looking bad and it sucks.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_00: So yeah, 28 Days Later, thought it was good.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_00: Probably my favorite zombie movie.
- 1:22:36SPEAKER_00: You should check it out.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_00: Um, very early 2000s.
- 1:22:39SPEAKER_00: Last thing I'll say is I'm having a hard time deciding what theme song is the best, because the theme song in the first two movies is good, but then 28 years later is the boots, boots, boots, like it makes you really it's really eerie.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_00: So it's if you wat if you watch these, let me know which one you think is your favorite, because I've been listening to them both ever since I finished all three of them, trying to figure it out.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_00: But yeah, good movie.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_00: Um I thought I'd touch on the other two just a little bit because I think we decided, yeah, we're gonna watch 28 years later, Bone Temple, which is the newest one.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_00: Um, as our watch list and talk about that next week.
- 1:23:12SPEAKER_00: So, other than that, that's all I got.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_00: You got anything else?
- 1:23:15SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 1:23:15SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_00: As always, we appreciate you watching, appreciate you listening, and that's it for us.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_00: We'll see y'all on Thursday for trivia.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_00: Bye.
