- 0:10Speaker 1: It's the reform it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Tonight, Donald Trump blasts Britain's Prime Minister Kstarma for blocking
- 0:19Speaker 2: his war effort. This is not Winston Churchill, but Sarma boasts,
- 0:27Speaker 2: is not helping Trump. He boasts to Muslims at a
- 0:30Speaker 2: Ramadan dinner, the once mighty British Empire and bad news
- 0:35Speaker 2: for Iranians. The new Supreme leaders reportedly this man a
- 0:38Speaker 2: cleric even worse than his assassinated father. Will show you
- 0:41Speaker 2: some of the reaction from Tehran. And Penny Wong is
- 0:45Speaker 2: under fire for lousy travel advice, showing how badly Australia
- 0:50Speaker 2: has been cut off, a cut out of the loop
- 0:52Speaker 2: by America. But first I'm going to play you a
- 0:56Speaker 2: shocking video, an example of why Pauline Hanson, by the way,
- 0:59Speaker 2: is getting so much support now. Two days ago our Senate,
- 1:04Speaker 2: only the Greens and Labor voted to censure the One
- 1:07Speaker 2: Nation leader for saying this.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I've got no time for the Radical Islam. Their religion
- 1:14Speaker 3: concerns me because what it says in the Qur'an. You say, oh, well,
- 1:18Speaker 3: there's good Muslims out there. Well, I'm sorry, how can
- 1:21Speaker 3: you tell me there are good Muslims?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Now? As Hanson said in that same interview, she was
- 1:27Speaker 2: not saying there are no good Muslims, as I've shown.
- 1:31Speaker 2: She meant to say, how can you tell who will
- 1:35Speaker 2: be good and who will be bad? Very important at
- 1:37Speaker 2: the borders in particular, and we have now seen exactly
- 1:41Speaker 2: that problem. We have seen that play out because of
- 1:46Speaker 2: how some mosques and our mourning the death of Iran
- 1:49Speaker 2: Supreme Leader Atola Ali Kamenei is a terrorist, the mass murderer,
- 1:54Speaker 2: a jihadist, and these mosques mourning this man's death, some
- 2:01Speaker 2: of them are funded by labor governments. Now a dozen
- 2:05Speaker 2: or more Islamic mosques and centers are holding ceremonies the
- 2:08Speaker 2: morn Komenae, who was assassinated last week in in American
- 2:12Speaker 2: and Israeli bombing. Now bear in mind and caution, I
- 2:15Speaker 2: am going to show you some disturbing images they really
- 2:18Speaker 2: paint this guy's character. Bear in mind that this comin
- 2:22Speaker 2: Ae in just the past two months massacred up to
- 2:25Speaker 2: thirty six thousand Iranians protesting against this rule. He has
- 2:30Speaker 2: executed political prisoners, He has had women arrest that a
- 2:33Speaker 2: beaten for not covering their hair. He has also hanged
- 2:37Speaker 2: gays from cranes declared death to America and funded terrorist
- 2:42Speaker 2: groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, and ordered hundreds of
- 2:45Speaker 2: deadly attacks on Israel and on US soldiers. Yet Sydney's
- 2:50Speaker 2: Masjid a Rahman Mosque, for instance, called for Muslims to
- 2:54Speaker 2: come pray for this tyrants. Pure soul of the Sydney
- 2:59Speaker 2: mosque has speaker who painted Kamine's assassination as an attack
- 3:03Speaker 2: on Islam. The kind of inflammatory message we've learned already
- 3:07Speaker 2: is potentially deadly in this age of jihad. In fact,
- 3:11Speaker 2: the hussey At Sayida Zeinab nonprofit Muslim center got so
- 3:16Speaker 2: excited that it posted this slick video praising the Hesbela
- 3:21Speaker 2: terrorist group which Kamina had funded to kill Jews. Now
- 3:31Speaker 2: I find this video shocking. It's promoting a terrorist group
- 3:37Speaker 2: which is actually banned here. It's saying that Hesbella's victory
- 3:41Speaker 2: will be coming. It's it's just a praise of terrorists
- 3:46Speaker 2: of all kinds. Now, this Hesbala, of course, is a
- 3:52Speaker 2: terrorist group actually banned in Australia. Promoting it is banned
- 3:56Speaker 2: in Australia. This Muslim center has now deleted it, but
- 4:01Speaker 2: this screenshot of its Instagram page taken by the Australian
- 4:04Speaker 2: Jewish Association shows it was there. But there's more Sidneys
- 4:09Speaker 2: Alzara Mosque had a shake praising Incoming as the embodiment
- 4:14Speaker 2: of everything we wanted in a leader helping Muslims to
- 4:18Speaker 2: fight imperialism, fight Zionism.
- 4:22Speaker 4: We lost one of our biggest scholars, Islamic scholars. He
- 4:28Speaker 4: was very well respected from everyone, and.
- 4:32Speaker 2: As I showed last night in Victoria, the grief of
- 4:35Speaker 2: Dan Long's Taha Foundation was so great that a singer
- 4:38Speaker 2: broke down in tears for kaming.
- 4:40Speaker 5: As I've got all of us.
- 4:56Speaker 2: As I also showed last night that Taha Foundation was
- 4:59Speaker 2: actually promised six hundred and seventy thousand dollars of your
- 5:03Speaker 2: money by the Albanizi government to renovate and extend their
- 5:06Speaker 2: headquarters and pay for youth programs. What a craven bribe
- 5:11Speaker 2: for votes using taxpayers money. But how many of the
- 5:15Speaker 2: other mosques Morning Come and A have been funded by labor?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Now the Masjedo Rahman Mosque that I mentioned, it's also
- 5:23Speaker 2: held a commemoration ceremony for three killed Hesbalah fighters, yet
- 5:29Speaker 2: it has been given thirty three thousand dollars by the
- 5:33Speaker 2: New South Wales government, including this novelty check for twenty
- 5:37Speaker 2: five thousand dollars of that with a signature on it
- 5:40Speaker 2: of local Labor member front bencher Sophie Costas Kotsis, as
- 5:44Speaker 2: if she was donating her own money and not yours.
- 5:49Speaker 2: As for the Alzara Moss that I also mentioned, it
- 5:52Speaker 2: shares an address and a board member with the Alzara College,
- 5:56Speaker 2: which in twenty twenty four got nearly ten million dollars
- 5:59Speaker 2: in federal government funding plus two point four million in
- 6:02Speaker 2: state government funding. Now, of course, when all this came
- 6:07Speaker 2: to light, the Minister of Multicultural Affairs, Anne Ali, who's
- 6:11Speaker 2: a self a Muslim, she now claims she takes this
- 6:14Speaker 2: use about the Tahau Foundation in particular, well, that is,
- 6:17Speaker 2: she takes it very seriously, she says, and she's now
- 6:20Speaker 2: canceled late this afternoon the six hundred and seventy thousand
- 6:24Speaker 2: dollars grant. But like I've asked before, why was this
- 6:30Speaker 2: money given in the first place? Well, the government argue
- 6:35Speaker 2: that I had no idea. It was funding what Pauline
- 6:37Speaker 2: Hanson would call bad Muslims, or at least Muslims who
- 6:42Speaker 2: worshiped an Iranian a Toller responsible for mass murder in
- 6:45Speaker 2: his unending jihad. Fair enough, I mean, really, let's be frank,
- 6:52Speaker 2: how could anyone have told Labor these weren't so called
- 6:55Speaker 2: good Muslims that was handing your money to which is
- 7:00Speaker 2: exactly what Hansen was trying to say when Labor and
- 7:04Speaker 2: the Greens in the Senate screamed her down. And it's
- 7:08Speaker 2: what every government should be in mind when deciding which
- 7:10Speaker 2: immigrants we let in. Now'll give you the latest on
- 7:18Speaker 2: the war in Iran a little later. There some big
- 7:21Speaker 2: developments there, including the new leader. It's staying with local news.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Two things in particular. First, more than a thousand Australians
- 7:30Speaker 2: are still stuck in the Middle East after Iran, far
- 7:32Speaker 2: more than a thousand missiles and drones of Katar and
- 7:35Speaker 2: the unaded Arab Emirates closing their airports. Now two hundred
- 7:41Speaker 2: Australians are now being flown home. But all this is
- 7:44Speaker 2: highlighted how out of touch Foreign Minnicipenny Wong is, how
- 7:48Speaker 2: cut off from any good intelligence from the US and Israel,
- 7:52Speaker 2: leaving her unable to give proper travel warnings. She was
- 7:56Speaker 2: asked today why she'd told diplomats astraining diplomats to get
- 8:00Speaker 2: their families out of Israel and Lebanon, but didn't tell
- 8:03Speaker 2: civilian travelers the same.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Really, the opposition needs to get their facts straight. We
- 8:09Speaker 6: have a very strict no double standards policy, a very
- 8:11Speaker 6: strict no double standards policy, which means what is directed
- 8:15Speaker 6: by the Department to their people is what is made public,
- 8:19Speaker 6: and that is what occurred.
- 8:20Speaker 7: That's the first point.
- 8:22Speaker 6: The second point I would make is our directions were
- 8:25Speaker 6: in relation to Israel and Lebanon and some voluntary departures
- 8:28Speaker 6: as well, all of which was made public. Now I
- 8:31Speaker 6: don't think you know, we certainly did not know that
- 8:35Speaker 6: Iran was going to hit ten countries in the region.
- 8:39Speaker 6: And you know, for those who are criticizing, if they
- 8:41Speaker 6: think they knew that, then they probably should have told us.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Didn't know, had no insight. And even now Pennyonong hasn't
- 8:49Speaker 2: talked to Donal Trump's Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, and
- 8:52Speaker 2: that's because Australia now under this government, is so irrelevant
- 8:55Speaker 2: to our allies, We're so unreliable. But to the other
- 8:59Speaker 2: big news and this is much better for Australia and
- 9:02Speaker 2: the government. National growth figures today showed a big jump
- 9:07Speaker 2: in growth from two point one percent to two point
- 9:10Speaker 2: six percent for the year. The Treasurer was very very
- 9:14Speaker 2: happy with that. Today joining me is the political panel,
- 9:16Speaker 2: Cameron Milner Form which you've staffed, the labor leader, Bill
- 9:18Speaker 2: Shorten now Director of GXO Strategies, and Michael Costler, former
- 9:22Speaker 2: New South Wales Labor Treasurer. There's a lot to discuss here,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and Michael, let me start with you with the growth figures.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Two point six percent. That sounds quite good.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Well, it would be.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Good Andrew in normal circumstances, but we're not in normal circumstances.
- 9:37Speaker 8: If we didn't have an inflation crisis, you know, we'd
- 9:39Speaker 8: all be crying about this. But look, those figures show
- 9:42Speaker 8: exactly what the problem is with government spending. You know,
- 9:46Speaker 8: we've got the private sector growing, and that's the good
- 9:48Speaker 8: part of those figures.
- 9:50Speaker 1: That's where you want growth.
- 9:52Speaker 8: That's what generates the wealth and it also generates the
- 9:54Speaker 8: bulk of taxation revenue, so that's the good site. But
- 9:57Speaker 8: at the same time, there has been no cut back
- 10:00Speaker 8: on government spending and that is a major problem and
- 10:05Speaker 8: means effectively you've got the RBA trying to control an
- 10:10Speaker 8: inflation environment with the federal government spending more money than's
- 10:15Speaker 8: required to keep its mandate of full employment. So we've
- 10:19Speaker 8: got a major problem here. And I don't think that
- 10:22Speaker 8: Jim Chalmers should crow. I noticed that by the way
- 10:25Speaker 8: he was trying to set up for the inevitable rate
- 10:27Speaker 8: rise by blaming what's going on in Iran at the moment.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That's absolutely not nonsense.
- 10:34Speaker 8: You always have exogenous factors when you're doing a budget
- 10:37Speaker 8: or an economy, and what you need to do is
- 10:40Speaker 8: keep your basics economic budget position in a position where
- 10:44Speaker 8: I can handle that. That means he should have cut
- 10:46Speaker 8: back on spending twelve months ago.
- 10:48Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 10:49Speaker 8: He's put us in a very difficult situation and the
- 10:51Speaker 8: Australian public is going to face a rate increase.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It has to.
- 10:57Speaker 2: In fact the price hugs from the Iran war. They're
- 11:00Speaker 2: yet to feed into all this that will be coming
- 11:02Speaker 2: over the next few weeks. Cameron Milner, what do you
- 11:05Speaker 2: make of this?
- 11:08Speaker 9: Well, look, as as Michael said, a good number in
- 11:11Speaker 9: better times, but they're not. I mean, inflation's back is
- 11:14Speaker 9: a huge problem for US. Interest rates are going up,
- 11:16Speaker 9: cost of living's back on everyone's agenda again and yes
- 11:19Speaker 9: to Michael's point, exactly right, Michael, this wasn't about Iran.
- 11:22Speaker 9: It's not about what's happened the last five days. It's
- 11:24Speaker 9: over the last five months. You know, this is a
- 11:26Speaker 9: government that's out of control in terms of its spending
- 11:28Speaker 9: and the RBA is trying to put on a diet
- 11:30Speaker 9: and this goes back getting thirds at the spending drop.
- 11:33Speaker 9: That's the problem. They're out of control and that's what's
- 11:36Speaker 9: fed into inflation. And so the growth number would have
- 11:38Speaker 9: been great Michael and Andrew, but not with inflation at
- 11:41Speaker 9: three point eight and ugitate's going up.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Now. Me and while the government seems totally over the
- 11:48Speaker 2: loop with this war, not worn beforehand, not getting the
- 11:51Speaker 2: heads up even now, unable to have proper travel warnings,
- 11:55Speaker 2: unable to predict where the war is going. Michael Costa,
- 11:58Speaker 2: it seems to me that we're just in irrelevance in
- 12:02Speaker 2: all this. We are not and how there's promised anything,
- 12:05Speaker 2: that's been looked for, for anything. We're just sitting on
- 12:08Speaker 2: the sidelines with the government as clueless as most other Australians.
- 12:14Speaker 8: Well, that's true, and would you actually a few of
- 12:16Speaker 8: the US or Israel give an early warning to the
- 12:19Speaker 8: Aberzi government.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I wouldn't, of course not you wouldn't.
- 12:23Speaker 8: Given some of the composition of the parliamentary Labor Party,
- 12:26Speaker 8: they probably would have.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Linked it by now.
- 12:28Speaker 8: Look, the problem is for this government is that there
- 12:32Speaker 8: is irrelevant and to be fair, we should be irrelevant.
- 12:35Speaker 1: This is in the Middle East in one sense.
- 12:38Speaker 8: I've got to also say I thought Alberie, as weak
- 12:40Speaker 8: as he was, at least did a lot better than
- 12:43Speaker 8: Starma did.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And I note that Trump had a go at him today.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Starma that is about not being a Winston Churchill made
- 12:49Speaker 8: his worse than that.
- 12:51Speaker 1: You know.
- 12:52Speaker 8: The reality is that this is going to play out
- 12:54Speaker 8: independent of us. In terms of the travel warnings, I
- 12:58Speaker 8: have a bit of sympathy for the government on this.
- 13:00Speaker 8: I don't know how you give travel warnings when it
- 13:02Speaker 8: was a surprise attack. The decision was made on Saturday morning,
- 13:06Speaker 8: our time. They weren't going to let people know because
- 13:09Speaker 8: it would leak out. Having said that, I mean we
- 13:11Speaker 8: should show more support for our allies and more support
- 13:15Speaker 8: for the values that have embedded in this action.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Well, I must say that it wouldn't have been a
- 13:23Speaker 2: surprise at all to Scone News viewers. This is your
- 13:27Speaker 2: This is what you're getting in return for your subscription.
- 13:30Speaker 2: We told you a month and more ago this war
- 13:33Speaker 2: was coming. We told you last week it might be
- 13:35Speaker 2: well this weekend or last weekend. All that's happened. So
- 13:39Speaker 2: keep your subscription up and you too will not be
- 13:41Speaker 2: stuck in the Middle East. Cameron Penny Wong. I don't
- 13:45Speaker 2: think she's been a star performer in this episode.
- 13:51Speaker 9: She has an inn. So she's the friend of her asked,
- 13:53Speaker 9: and a friend of Palestine. And why would Washington trust her?
- 13:56Speaker 9: I mean, it's on a need to know basis this
- 13:57Speaker 9: sort of information, and she clearly didn't need to know
- 14:00Speaker 9: because you can't be trusted Tony Burt couldn't be trusted
- 14:02Speaker 9: with information around the National Cabinet table clearly. So no,
- 14:05Speaker 9: I mean, look, Israel and America have done a great thing,
- 14:08Speaker 9: a great thing in taking down Iran's initial thing. They've
- 14:11Speaker 9: got to finish the job. But for goodness sake, if
- 14:13Speaker 9: we've got Orcus, we've got a week Elbow and never
- 14:18Speaker 9: Chamberlain like Starmer in the Aucust thing, and we've got
- 14:20Speaker 9: Donald Trump, thank goodness.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I mean, that's what Aucust looks like now.
- 14:23Speaker 9: Week Labor in Australia Week, labor in London and a
- 14:26Speaker 9: strong Trump in Washington.
- 14:30Speaker 2: That's two mentions already. A Keith Starmer from you two guys.
- 14:35Speaker 2: He'll be on the griddle in the next segment. Don't
- 14:38Speaker 2: you worry about that government funding ex mosques and It's
- 14:41Speaker 2: centers that turned out to be pro the Iranian leader
- 14:45Speaker 2: who funded the world's worst terrorist group. Michael Cossa, how
- 14:48Speaker 2: could this happen?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Well, anything can happen, mate. We're funding all sorts of
- 14:54Speaker 1: silly things.
- 14:55Speaker 8: And this is a government, a federal government that can't
- 14:58Speaker 8: cut back expenditure.
- 14:59Speaker 1: But on this one.
- 15:00Speaker 8: That's particularly agreeious given you know, the sorts of views
- 15:03Speaker 8: that these people have.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And I just want to make a point here.
- 15:05Speaker 8: This is not about their right to mourn their so
- 15:09Speaker 8: called spiritual leader. It's the fact that the Commonwealth government
- 15:13Speaker 8: is funding these people who have got a track report,
- 15:16Speaker 8: are supporting organizations that are prescribed in Australia. Now, you know,
- 15:21Speaker 8: this comes back to the point, and you know, I
- 15:23Speaker 8: don't agree with this thing about good Muslims and bad Muslims.
- 15:25Speaker 8: This is about bad Islam, you know, and the fact
- 15:29Speaker 8: of the matter, there are problems in Islam and unless
- 15:31Speaker 8: there's a reformation, we're going to get constantly these types
- 15:34Speaker 8: of events occurring in this country. It's about Islam that
- 15:37Speaker 8: we need to focus on the reformations on coming. The
- 15:40Speaker 8: Islamic Council of Clerics has done nothing to mitigate against
- 15:44Speaker 8: these sorts of positions, and this is the result you see.
- 15:46Speaker 8: But the federal government shouldn't be giving them one cent
- 15:49Speaker 8: or the state's giving them one cent.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Well, you call for a reformation. The Reformation in Christianity
- 15:57Speaker 2: was where people went back to the Bible to see
- 15:59Speaker 2: what it actually is said. I think Paul Hanson's message
- 16:03Speaker 2: here is that we don't want that reformation. We do
- 16:06Speaker 2: not want people going back to what the Quran really says,
- 16:09Speaker 2: because that is the problem. And that's why she says,
- 16:12Speaker 2: how can you tell it be a good Muslim? Because
- 16:14Speaker 2: you don't know how many will take what's in the
- 16:17Speaker 2: Quran literally enact upon it. That's the problem. What did
- 16:21Speaker 2: you think of all this Cameron, the funding of moss
- 16:24Speaker 2: and Islamic centers. I mean it's such a you know,
- 16:27Speaker 2: a rowt really pleading to I think communities the least
- 16:32Speaker 2: assimilated and get the most money. It's a reward for
- 16:35Speaker 2: not assimilating. And I think it's a pure roart. Oh
- 16:41Speaker 2: it is.
- 16:41Speaker 9: It's buying votes, isn't Andrew. I mean this is just
- 16:44Speaker 9: throwing money to the Muslim extremists in the community hoping
- 16:47Speaker 9: they'll vote Labor, just like you did a deal on
- 16:49Speaker 9: isis Bride to say, Watson, that's what Tony Burk Whitton
- 16:51Speaker 9: did and just hand out money. He hand out Isis
- 16:53Speaker 9: brides as well. No, this is a labor party with
- 16:56Speaker 9: a gross double standard. He'll stand there at the Bondai
- 16:59Speaker 9: memorial putting down flowers, but won't do anything about the
- 17:02Speaker 9: hate preachers that have been in these mosques in Western
- 17:04Speaker 9: City now and Danny Noong and the people who are
- 17:06Speaker 9: out there celebrating the life of a terrorist leader such
- 17:10Speaker 9: a Komane. I mean, this guy reigned death in the
- 17:13Speaker 9: Middle East from Hesibla, hoodies and hamas, and yet he's
- 17:17Speaker 9: being celebrated in terms of his death by some of
- 17:19Speaker 9: these people our community. That's not acceptable and for goodness sake,
- 17:22Speaker 9: not one single dollar of Australian money should ever go to
- 17:24Speaker 9: these groups ever.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Again, Yes, Sir Tony Burke actually went down to the
- 17:30Speaker 2: airport and personally welcomed Palestinians from terrorists in Gaza that
- 17:35Speaker 2: had given tourist visas to unbelievable Michael Costa, Cameron Milner,
- 17:39Speaker 2: thank you very much to you both. After the break,
- 17:42Speaker 2: he runs clerics choose the country's new leader. But he
- 17:45Speaker 2: spells disaster and will show you how it's been greeted
- 17:47Speaker 2: in the streets in Tehran and to the latest in
- 17:55Speaker 2: the war. Well after four days, it seems Iran's ability
- 17:58Speaker 2: to fight back has been crippled. The Institute of the
- 18:01Speaker 2: Study of War and the Pentagon Boath say it's firing
- 18:04Speaker 2: many fewer missiles now. That's because hundreds of its missiles
- 18:07Speaker 2: and particularly missile launchers have been taken out.
- 18:11Speaker 10: They have no navy, it's been knocked out. They have
- 18:14Speaker 10: no air force, has been knocked out, they have no
- 18:17Speaker 10: air detection, has been knocked out, their radar has been
- 18:19Speaker 10: knocked out, and just about everything's been knocked out.
- 18:26Speaker 2: The US and Israel, though, are now virtually bombing at will,
- 18:30Speaker 2: and they've destroyed a building where HERUNS Council of Experts
- 18:33Speaker 2: was supposed to be meeting to choose a replacement for
- 18:35Speaker 2: around supreme leader. I told Ali Kamenai who's killed on
- 18:39Speaker 2: the weekend. In fact, the council met virtually and reportedly
- 18:42Speaker 2: chose as Kaminai's successor his second son, mosh Harbor, even
- 18:47Speaker 2: though he is not actually a senior cleric shouldn't actually qualify.
- 18:51Speaker 2: But what he is is a hard liner backed by
- 18:54Speaker 2: the country's powerful and hard line Revolutionary Guard Corps, which
- 18:58Speaker 2: is bad us for Iranians. Well, and they let that
- 19:03Speaker 2: be known. In Tehran. People were calling out for the
- 19:07Speaker 2: new guy's death and were shot at. So this war
- 19:25Speaker 2: will keep going, as Trump has promised. I don't know
- 19:27Speaker 2: how much longer this new come and a will live.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Trump has meanwhile, stepped in there to clean up a
- 19:35Speaker 2: dumb thing and a rare dumb thing that was said
- 19:37Speaker 2: yesterday Bo's Secretary of State Marco Rubio, implying that America
- 19:41Speaker 2: attacked Iran because Israel stampeded it's adjoining Israel and destroying
- 19:47Speaker 2: the regime. Rubio apparently carved into pressure from leftist politicians
- 19:52Speaker 2: journalists claiming this war is illegal because there was no
- 19:55Speaker 2: imminent threat. Yes there was. Rubio said this threat that
- 20:00Speaker 2: the round would strike back if Israel attack first. The
- 20:02Speaker 2: US had to preempt that.
- 20:05Speaker 11: We knew that there was going to be an Israeli action.
- 20:07Speaker 11: We knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces,
- 20:11Speaker 11: and we knew that if we didn't preemptively go after
- 20:13Speaker 11: them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher
- 20:16Speaker 11: casualties and perhaps even hire those killed. And then we
- 20:19Speaker 11: would all be here answering questions about why we knew
- 20:21Speaker 11: that and didn't act.
- 20:24Speaker 2: That's the gift to anti Israel conspiracy theorists, and Trump
- 20:28Speaker 2: cleaned it up, saying as if I would let another
- 20:31Speaker 2: country panic me into doing.
- 20:33Speaker 10: This, based on the way the negotiation was going, I
- 20:36Speaker 10: think they were going to attack first, and I didn't
- 20:40Speaker 10: want that to happen, So, if anything, I might have
- 20:43Speaker 10: forced Israel's hand.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Now, the fact is have demonstrated before Trump and his
- 20:49Speaker 2: team of playing this war four months. General Jack Keane
- 20:52Speaker 2: told us he more than a month ago was coming.
- 20:54Speaker 2: And one added reason to attack now that I haven't
- 20:59Speaker 2: told you yet is that Iran was rapidly building up
- 21:01Speaker 2: his missiles and its drones. Iran's foreign minister even boast
- 21:04Speaker 2: in November that Iran now had more missiles than it
- 21:07Speaker 2: did in the twelve day war with the US and
- 21:09Speaker 2: Israel last June, and that spelled huge danger for Israel
- 21:14Speaker 2: in the US if Iran got too many missiles that
- 21:16Speaker 2: could simply overwhelm their missile defenses, exhaust their stock, and
- 21:20Speaker 2: leave the US with too few to defend itself against
- 21:24Speaker 2: a Chinese attack should one come. And it seems that
- 21:28Speaker 2: is one big reason for the attack happening now. Meanwhile,
- 21:32Speaker 2: Israel has moved back into southern eleven On to clean
- 21:34Speaker 2: out Hesbela. Terrorists there have been paid in armed by
- 21:37Speaker 2: Hesbla and have fired rockets into Israel to help defend Iran.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Joining me is Aylon Levy, a podcaster and former spokesman
- 21:45Speaker 2: for the Israeli government during the first year of the
- 21:48Speaker 2: Guards of War. It's such a pleasure to see you.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I've long admired how you've stuck her to very aggressive journalists.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I've enjoyed that Marco Rubio gave anti Israel conspiracy theories. Yeah, well,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe you should burnish my reputation for
- 22:09Speaker 2: being even handed by giving me a blast in some way,
- 22:11Speaker 2: gentle blast, but give me one. Marco Rubio gave anti
- 22:15Speaker 2: Israel conspiracy theories A lot of ammunition there in that clip.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I just showed you saying America joined the attack on
- 22:22Speaker 2: around because Israel was going to anyway that made look weak.
- 22:25Speaker 2: What did you make of that?
- 22:28Speaker 12: You know, people didn't watch the full clip. Secretary of
- 22:30Speaker 12: Rubio was very clear this operation was going to happen
- 22:33Speaker 12: sooner or later because the Iranian regime was approaching a
- 22:36Speaker 12: point of strategic invulnerability. I'll explain. The Iranian regime, which
- 22:41Speaker 12: he says is run by religious lunatics, wants to build
- 22:44Speaker 12: a nuclear weapon. In order to build a nuclear weapon,
- 22:47Speaker 12: it wanted to build enough ballistic missiles and drones that
- 22:51Speaker 12: no one would be able to stop it. Now the
- 22:53Speaker 12: regime was building one hundred missiles a month, fortifying its
- 22:58Speaker 12: underground ballistic missile factories, and acquiring strategic weapons from China
- 23:02Speaker 12: that would be a game changer. The Iranian regime was
- 23:05Speaker 12: close to the point of having enough firepower that no
- 23:09Speaker 12: one would be able to stop it. The military option
- 23:11Speaker 12: would not be viable, and if it chose to go
- 23:14Speaker 12: and build nuclear weapons, no one would be able to
- 23:16Speaker 12: stop it. The negotiators, Steve Whitcoff told us, walked into
- 23:20Speaker 12: the room and told the Americans, we have enough nuclear
- 23:23Speaker 12: material for eleven bombs. That is our starting position. And
- 23:27Speaker 12: Rubio said, if the US Israeli coalition, the two most
- 23:31Speaker 12: powerful air forces in the world, did not act, now,
- 23:34Speaker 12: we would have reached a point of no return where
- 23:37Speaker 12: no one could touch the Iranian regime. So for those
- 23:40Speaker 12: saying it's too soon, it's always too soon until it's
- 23:44Speaker 12: too late.
- 23:47Speaker 2: That's a very good point. And don't forget it is
- 23:49Speaker 2: wider implications than just an Iranian attack, bad as that
- 23:52Speaker 2: would be. I mean, Ukraine is depending on American missile
- 23:57Speaker 2: defenses to defend itself from Russia. In America is freaking
- 24:01Speaker 2: what will it have lift if China does go to
- 24:05Speaker 2: war ed it is threatened to do. China hasn't expended
- 24:07Speaker 2: a single munition in years, while you know, America seems
- 24:11Speaker 2: to be finding everything. But now Israel now is going
- 24:14Speaker 2: into southern Lebanon again. Why is that?
- 24:18Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 24:18Speaker 12: First of all, just on this point on China, this
- 24:20Speaker 12: is critical to understand what is happening in Iran in
- 24:23Speaker 12: a global context. The Chinese, Russian, Iranian North Korean axis
- 24:28Speaker 12: is trying to bleed the West dry. It is manufacturing
- 24:32Speaker 12: ballistic missiles and drones far faster and cheaper than the West.
- 24:36Speaker 12: Can manufacture interceptors. So it is a global danger if
- 24:40Speaker 12: the Iranian regime has eight thousand ballistic missiles as it
- 24:43Speaker 12: was planning, because there's just no way to suit them
- 24:46Speaker 12: out of the sky. And that is a way for
- 24:47Speaker 12: China to try to bog down the West and the
- 24:50Speaker 12: moderate Arab states, and for Russia as well as they
- 24:54Speaker 12: seek expansion beyond their borders. So this is a global danger.
- 24:57Speaker 12: Lebanon Hezbola, RAN's proxy army in Lebanon has joined the
- 25:02Speaker 12: war on the side of the Iranian regime. Two nights ago,
- 25:05Speaker 12: they fired ballistic missiles and drones at northern Israel. Yesterday,
- 25:11Speaker 12: for the first time in sixteen months, they fired a
- 25:13Speaker 12: ballistic missile at Tel Aviv and we all had to
- 25:17Speaker 12: run for shelter, and Israel is saying enough is enough.
- 25:20Speaker 12: The last war with Hezbola ended with a diplomatic solution.
- 25:23Speaker 12: That's what world leaders wanted, right, a deal that the
- 25:26Speaker 12: Lebanese government has to disarm Hezbala.
- 25:29Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 25:30Speaker 12: They chickened out of a fight, chickened out of a confrontation,
- 25:34Speaker 12: didn't confront Hezbola, allowed Hesbala to re arm position forces
- 25:38Speaker 12: along Israel's border and We're not going to allow Iran's
- 25:41Speaker 12: proxy army in Lebanon to rain missiles and drones an
- 25:45Speaker 12: anti tank fire at the communities along the border. So
- 25:48Speaker 12: Israel is now operating forcefully against Hezbola to remove the
- 25:53Speaker 12: threat of rocket fire and drones against our communities and
- 25:57Speaker 12: make sure they can no longer attack Israeli civilians. To
- 26:00Speaker 12: try to save the Islamic Republic.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You know, Israel's got much less than half Australia's population.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Mimhi is fighting on three frants in Gaza, still really
- 26:15Speaker 2: in Lebanon and in Iran. There must be some sort
- 26:18Speaker 2: of exhaustion setting in here or the blood and the
- 26:23Speaker 2: money that's being expended on this. How long do you
- 26:25Speaker 2: think before the Isralian public think enough what's going on?
- 26:29Speaker 2: What's the support for this?
- 26:31Speaker 12: Oh, resolve in Israel is very high, because we want
- 26:35Speaker 12: to finish the job. Since October seventh, twenty twenty three,
- 26:39Speaker 12: we have been under attack on seven fronts Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria,
- 26:46Speaker 12: the West Bank, Iraq, Iran. It has been over two
- 26:50Speaker 12: years of a multifront wall waged by the Iranian axis
- 26:54Speaker 12: against Israel to try to destroy our country, and that
- 26:58Speaker 12: has backfired spectacular in the face of the Iranian axis.
- 27:02Speaker 12: Every single terrorist leader who plotted and was involved in
- 27:06Speaker 12: October seventh is now dead. Sinhwa Death, Nasralla Jamenai all gone.
- 27:12Speaker 12: So Israelis now don't want ballistic missiles. It's scary, it's stressful,
- 27:17Speaker 12: you have to run to the shelter. But we can't
- 27:19Speaker 12: afford for the Iranian regime to get nuclear weapons. We
- 27:22Speaker 12: can't afford for them to build thousands of ballistic missiles.
- 27:25Speaker 12: We want to eliminate the threat once and for all
- 27:28Speaker 12: of a fundamentalist, fanatic regime that has invested billions in
- 27:33Speaker 12: the vision of death to Israel. So if it means
- 27:36Speaker 12: running into the bomb shelter a few more times, a
- 27:38Speaker 12: few more days, a few more weeks, that's the price
- 27:40Speaker 12: that Israelis are willing to pay in order to remove
- 27:43Speaker 12: this existential threat to our national survival.
- 27:48Speaker 2: And and let me just tell you, there is no once
- 27:50Speaker 2: and for all in history. There's always going to be
- 27:53Speaker 2: someone else. But yes, I think Israel will be safer now.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Once Iran it is the fang that it has been
- 27:59Speaker 2: since the creation of the state a very quickly amount
- 28:02Speaker 2: of time. But I just know he quicker view from
- 28:05Speaker 2: you on this the hatred of the left here for
- 28:07Speaker 2: Benjamin Naho, you know, the demonization of him. It's not
- 28:10Speaker 2: as here too, you've worked for him. What's he really like?
- 28:15Speaker 12: I think the Prime Minister is the ultimate foreign policy realist.
- 28:19Speaker 12: He sees through the ball of all the jog and
- 28:24Speaker 12: talk of international community and understands that we live in
- 28:28Speaker 12: a dangerous region, and in a dangerous region you need
- 28:30Speaker 12: to be creative. You need to be forceful because our
- 28:33Speaker 12: enemies are not playing by the rules, and you have
- 28:35Speaker 12: to be smarter and faster and stronger than them if
- 28:38Speaker 12: you want to survive in a dangerous region.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Hellen Levy always great to talk to you, howe to
- 28:45Speaker 2: have you back very soon. Thank you so much for
- 28:47Speaker 2: your time. After the break, the pathetic, the humiliating, the
- 28:52Speaker 2: absurd and dangerous decline of Britain. This Prime Minister boast
- 28:56Speaker 2: the Muslims is not helping the US war and Iran,
- 28:58Speaker 2: and Donald Trump trolls him.
- 29:01Speaker 10: This is not Winston Churchill.
- 29:08Speaker 2: We've seen for a while now how weak the West
- 29:10Speaker 2: has become, how strong its enemies, except of course, two
- 29:14Speaker 2: leaders of the West are strong and are now confounding
- 29:18Speaker 2: those enemies of the West Benny Minette, Yahoo and Donald Trump.
- 29:23Speaker 2: In fact, Trump today blasted one of the weakest leaders
- 29:26Speaker 2: now of the west Bridge Preme Ministers, the Keiths Starmer, who,
- 29:30Speaker 2: out of colonial guilt, has wanted to give away the
- 29:34Speaker 2: Chagos Islands to Mauritius, a country two thousand kilometers away
- 29:40Speaker 2: which never owned them in the first place, and is
- 29:42Speaker 2: doing this even though the Chagos Islands are home to
- 29:45Speaker 2: a critical military base, Diergo Garcia, which is used not
- 29:50Speaker 2: just by the UK but by the U S. And
- 29:52Speaker 2: Keith Stamer has told Trump he couldn't use this base
- 29:56Speaker 2: for this war with Iran. Trump blasted him overnight.
- 30:00Speaker 10: It's taken three or four days for us to work
- 30:04Speaker 10: out where we can land. There would have been much
- 30:06Speaker 10: more convenient landing there as opposed to flying many extra hours.
- 30:09Speaker 10: This is not Winston Churchill that we're dealing with.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Johnny is Rondina fro In, chief of The Spectator Australia,
- 30:18Speaker 2: host of Outsiders every Sunday at nine am and host
- 30:20Speaker 2: of his own show at Fridays at seven pm Rowan.
- 30:24Speaker 2: This is not Winston Churchill that we're dealing with. That's
- 30:26Speaker 2: criticism and English Prime minister. That is so devastating, it's
- 30:30Speaker 2: all over the British papers. What do you make of this?
- 30:34Speaker 13: Well, not surprising, isn't Andrew? I mean it is the
- 30:36Speaker 13: ultimate insult. Not Winston Churchill. He could easily have said,
- 30:41Speaker 13: not Maggie Thatcher. He could probably have said a few others. Yes,
- 30:45Speaker 13: probably applies to several British Prime ministers of recent years.
- 30:49Speaker 13: But Kirsteiner is definitely the absolute worst, weakest, most pathetic
- 30:52Speaker 13: prime minister that the UK has ever had. His background
- 30:56Speaker 13: is the human rights lawyer, which basically says it all.
- 30:59Speaker 13: But what we have here is the absolute example of
- 31:04Speaker 13: where wokeness has destroyed the West, and the whole issue
- 31:08Speaker 13: around Diego Garcia and the Chagos Islands is what happens
- 31:12Speaker 13: when you let the woke brigade get their way. Diego
- 31:15Speaker 13: Garcia is regarded as the unsinkable aircraft carrier for where
- 31:20Speaker 13: it is positioned for US and UK forces, it gives
- 31:23Speaker 13: them extraordinary strategic advantage equidistant between the Middle East, Asia
- 31:30Speaker 13: and so on. So it's been invaluable in all the
- 31:33Speaker 13: previous incursions into the Middle East that certainly the Americans
- 31:37Speaker 13: have had to fight or chose to fight, and what
- 31:41Speaker 13: happened was basically the International Court of Justice. The same
- 31:45Speaker 13: mob or similar to the same mob people who are
- 31:48Speaker 13: running around trying to put Benjamin Ettanyahu in jail and
- 31:52Speaker 13: all sorts of other things. This woke brigade decided that
- 31:55Speaker 13: they had to decolonize Diego Garcia and the Chagos Islands,
- 32:00Speaker 13: take it away from Britain. It's been with Britain since
- 32:02Speaker 13: the Napoleonic Wars. That it was a French leper colony.
- 32:06Speaker 13: I think the British probably made more use of it
- 32:09Speaker 13: than maybe the French did. Before that, it was a
- 32:11Speaker 13: Spanish Portuguese colony going way back to the fifteen hundreds,
- 32:15Speaker 13: so it has been colonized for five hundred years or so.
- 32:19Speaker 13: You may as well start trying to decolonize the Islamic world,
- 32:22Speaker 13: for instance, or decolonized parts of where China has moved.
- 32:26Speaker 13: But no, the woke brigade decided, we're going to decolonize
- 32:29Speaker 13: Chargos and the Diego Garcia, give it to Mauritius, as
- 32:33Speaker 13: you said, which is nowhere near the place, has never
- 32:35Speaker 13: had it. And this is all done to satisfy the
- 32:37Speaker 13: woke human rights judges and of course Keir Starma is
- 32:40Speaker 13: an ex human rights judge, so he gave the whole
- 32:43Speaker 13: thing away. Not only that, he then offered to lease
- 32:45Speaker 13: it back for billions of dollars from Mauritius, who couldn't
- 32:48Speaker 13: believe their like they said, yeah, Rat, okay, we'll take it.
- 32:51Speaker 13: And yeah, sure you can lease it back for billions
- 32:53Speaker 13: of dollars. Donald Trump much of my astonishment Andrew right
- 32:57Speaker 13: at the beginning of his second term, and I went, oh, yeah, okay,
- 33:01Speaker 13: whatever sounds like You've got a good least stitched up
- 33:04Speaker 13: one hundred and forty year least. Presumably he was basically
- 33:06Speaker 13: told by the Brits that don't worry, it's all perfectly safe.
- 33:09Speaker 13: Nothing what could possibly go wrong? And then he realized
- 33:13Speaker 13: us soon afterwards that would kiss Starmer in control anything
- 33:17Speaker 13: and everything can possibly go wrong. And Andrew, it's an
- 33:20Speaker 13: absolute train.
- 33:21Speaker 2: The first test, the first test, Rowan, the first test
- 33:24Speaker 2: has gone wrong with this war. He can't even land
- 33:27Speaker 2: his planes there. I mean, really, if I just can't
- 33:30Speaker 2: believe it, I don't know that this deal is going
- 33:32Speaker 2: to go through after this, and look to compound it.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Rowan to compound at Starmer yesterday even assured and I
- 33:40Speaker 2: would say, he boasted to British Muslims at a Ramadan
- 33:44Speaker 2: event that he'd never helped Jewish Israel attack Muslim Iran.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Here he is and what more do you make it clear?
- 33:54Speaker 2: The UK was not involved in the offensive stripes of
- 33:57Speaker 2: the US at Israel remains the place that is so
- 34:04Speaker 2: telling Roan.
- 34:05Speaker 13: Absolute you know, that is the definition of a pusillanimous,
- 34:09Speaker 13: absolute cowardice in again in the face of wokeness. So
- 34:12Speaker 13: here we have a British Prime Minister so terrified of
- 34:14Speaker 13: the Muslim votes that he's got to say to them, well,
- 34:17Speaker 13: look at us. And he said it not once, but
- 34:19Speaker 13: he said it twice a couple of days earlier. Oh no, no,
- 34:21Speaker 13: this attack on Irans nothing to do with us, nothing
- 34:23Speaker 13: to do with us. It is absolutely pathetic. Innock Power
- 34:27Speaker 13: worned that there would be, you know, a civic strife
- 34:30Speaker 13: and so on if immigration got out of control on Britain.
- 34:33Speaker 13: But I don't think even Enoch Power could have foreseen
- 34:36Speaker 13: a day when the British Prime Minister would be so
- 34:39Speaker 13: scared of the Muslim vote that he would be prepared
- 34:42Speaker 13: to not only disavow his US allies, but not allowed
- 34:46Speaker 13: but allow the great relationship and friendship, the special relationship
- 34:50Speaker 13: between Britain and America to be absolutely thrown on the dusty.
- 34:54Speaker 13: It's an absolute disgrace. Where's James Bond when you need him?
- 34:58Speaker 13: I mean, he'd have sorted all this out, But of
- 34:59Speaker 13: course time all woke and this is the result of it.
- 35:05Speaker 13: They are a pathetic country compared to what they once were.
- 35:08Speaker 13: The decline of the British Empire is an absolute tragedy
- 35:13Speaker 13: and just one of the most tragic events of our lifetimes.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Well you mentioned I think Admiral Nelson wouldn't recognize what's
- 35:24Speaker 2: going on here, or any British admiral of what was
- 35:28Speaker 2: once the world's most powerful maritime force until I think
- 35:32Speaker 2: World War One. It had the navy that ruled the
- 35:36Speaker 2: waves all around the world. But this time, with this war,
- 35:39Speaker 2: it didn't have a single ship in the Mediterranean to
- 35:44Speaker 2: defend Cyprus and its base there from an Iranian drone attack.
- 35:48Speaker 2: The base airport was hit. It is now sending out
- 35:52Speaker 2: one ship called the Dragon, which does have missile defense.
- 35:56Speaker 2: It's not its best ship, but so many of the
- 35:59Speaker 2: other destroyers are stuck in port for repairs or whatever.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I mean. Britain and Europe generally is now pathetic.
- 36:07Speaker 13: Rowan pathetic Whatever happened to rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves.
- 36:12Speaker 13: I mean that was the history of Britain, was the
- 36:13Speaker 13: domination of the seas, the defeating of Napoleon, to show
- 36:16Speaker 13: that the world that Britain was the greatest maritime force
- 36:21Speaker 13: and empire the world had ever known. And how quickly
- 36:24Speaker 13: the Brits have just handed it away and let it
- 36:27Speaker 13: all disappear. And we're all the poorer for it. Because
- 36:30Speaker 13: nothing good I can promise you will come out of
- 36:34Speaker 13: the way Kirstarmer is treating Britain's defenses, Nothing good will
- 36:38Speaker 13: come out of it. And as for apologizing and dismantling
- 36:41Speaker 13: or trashing the American relationship like that, Australia should be
- 36:46Speaker 13: worried as well, because this impacts really badly on alcus
- 36:49Speaker 13: Our Orchesteal if we can't rely on Britain to be,
- 36:53Speaker 13: you know, the reliable partner in the in the threesome.
- 36:59Speaker 2: There's such a big change going and makes Donald Trump
- 37:02Speaker 2: look all the more startling and in some ways welcome.
- 37:07Speaker 2: What a change, What a difference for how do the
- 37:09Speaker 2: ordinary that man is compared to what you're seeing.
- 37:13Speaker 13: The greatest president in our lifetimes.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Now you did tell the road. Being on that note
- 37:22Speaker 2: as a seer, thank you so much. See you next
- 37:27Speaker 2: week after the break, the biggest bust up in radio history.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Just being nasty no longer pay? Can the news be
- 37:33Speaker 2: that good? The Liberals have a new federal leader, but
- 37:42Speaker 2: they've still got traitors and backstabbers. And this is a
- 37:45Speaker 2: serious Some unlinked the party's internal report into how the
- 37:48Speaker 2: Liberals lost the election, and the party decided to keep
- 37:52Speaker 2: a confidential give new leader Angus Stale and his deputy
- 37:54Speaker 2: Jane Hume, clear air so they can attack the government
- 37:58Speaker 2: and not talk for about the past. And also because
- 38:02Speaker 2: the report was predicted and does attack decisions they also
- 38:06Speaker 2: made in the last campaign, bad decisions. Now, whoever lickd
- 38:10Speaker 2: that report did Labor a huge favor and we know
- 38:14Speaker 2: that because the Prime Minister himself got a copy the
- 38:17Speaker 2: report and tabled it in Parliament yesterday so that every
- 38:19Speaker 2: journalist could report it. Joining me Gemontonini colonists and communications
- 38:23Speaker 2: consultant Caroline Drusso, commentator and President of the West Australian Liberals.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Caroline who in the Liberal Party would help labor like
- 38:30Speaker 2: that and should they be fired, hunted down like dogs
- 38:34Speaker 2: and sacked.
- 38:35Speaker 14: Oh oh, now, now look disappointing obviously, the lack of discipline.
- 38:41Speaker 14: I'm not going to relitigate that on national television. But
- 38:45Speaker 14: the point that you make about the Prime minister here
- 38:47Speaker 14: is really interesting because there's so much going on in
- 38:50Speaker 14: the world, Andrew. There's so much going on economically here,
- 38:54Speaker 14: obviously domestically Iran and the Isis brides and a whole
- 38:59Speaker 14: number of other things that the Prime Minister doesn't want
- 39:01Speaker 14: to talk about because he doesn't want to be accountable for.
- 39:04Speaker 14: And you only have to listen to a few snippets
- 39:07Speaker 14: out of what he had to say on ABC seven
- 39:11Speaker 14: thirty the other day, and there was a lot of
- 39:13Speaker 14: wriggling around. So I think the most important thing, Andrews,
- 39:17Speaker 14: the blowtorch goes back on the government and we stopped
- 39:20Speaker 14: talking about this distraction.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Well you say that, but Jem, I mean in Parliament today,
- 39:27Speaker 2: you know it's clear that the blow torches have been
- 39:30Speaker 2: given by the Albany's A government to the coalitions in
- 39:33Speaker 2: Shadow Treasure Tim Wilson. Because I obviously see him as
- 39:36Speaker 2: a threat, but I have to say I liked Tim
- 39:39Speaker 2: Wilson but he helped them when he put this question to
- 39:43Speaker 2: them in parliament today.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Do do do do? Do do do? The treasure did
- 39:49Speaker 1: start the inflation fire.
- 39:50Speaker 12: The inflation's burning while the treasurer is squirming.
- 39:54Speaker 2: The treasure did.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Start inflation fire. Yes, it nice crime to fuel.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Jim Tonini or the communications consultant communicate and consult on
- 40:07Speaker 2: this one.
- 40:08Speaker 15: Well, look, I don't like giving advice for free Andrew,
- 40:11Speaker 15: but I will in this instance. Don't do that, Tim,
- 40:13Speaker 15: don't do that. Don't do that again ever. But can
- 40:16Speaker 15: I just can I just circle back and shoot me
- 40:19Speaker 15: for you using that phrase? But can I just go
- 40:20Speaker 15: back a second to the Liberal Party report because I
- 40:23Speaker 15: don't want to say two things. I don't think anyone
- 40:25Speaker 15: outside of the parliamentary bubble, the Liberal Party, Labor Party bubble,
- 40:30Speaker 15: cares about it. There's a cost of living crisis. There
- 40:32Speaker 15: is a national security crisis and a war in the Middle.
- 40:35Speaker 7: East that is significant.
- 40:37Speaker 15: Nobody cares about that except people in the political bubble.
- 40:39Speaker 15: That's the first thing. Second of all, for.
- 40:41Speaker 7: My sins, Andrew, I read it.
- 40:43Speaker 15: It's publicly available now because it's ready to handsard. It
- 40:46Speaker 15: reads like missus Mangle's gossip column from neighbors from Ramsey Street.
- 40:51Speaker 15: It's not a particularly well written report. It's not a
- 40:53Speaker 15: particularly salacious report. It's actually, in my professional view, not
- 40:57Speaker 15: a particularly robust report. I wouldn't I wouldn't wager a
- 41:00Speaker 15: bet my learned friends are not allowed to say anything,
- 41:02Speaker 15: but I wouldn't wageerr a bet that they kept it
- 41:05Speaker 15: quiet because the report was a bit embarrassing. It's not
- 41:07Speaker 15: particularly well written. I don't think the Australian public cares.
- 41:09Speaker 15: I think they care about the cost of living and
- 41:11Speaker 15: they care about national security.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I read one page in particular that it might come
- 41:17Speaker 2: back to tomorrow that struck me as particularly inane. To
- 41:21Speaker 2: be honest, Caroline, no, it does. Essentially the advice is
- 41:27Speaker 2: treat Australia like a hotel because it's changed character will. Honestly,
- 41:32Speaker 2: that's the advice of one nation is going it is, Caroline.
- 41:38Speaker 2: We've just seen the explosion of the most expensive team
- 41:41Speaker 2: in Australian media history, and this is probably one reason
- 41:44Speaker 2: why so many journalists are gloating about a lot of
- 41:47Speaker 2: chardon freud are going on here. KISSFM signed up presenters
- 41:51Speaker 2: Carl Sandalan's and Jackie O for about one hundred million
- 41:54Speaker 2: dollars each over ten years. But after just two years,
- 41:58Speaker 2: Sandalan's gave Jackie spray, which is made in out pull
- 42:03Speaker 2: the plug. Here's just some of it.
- 42:05Speaker 16: Every one you can see has had something over the
- 42:08Speaker 16: last month. It doesn't have to be this big thing here.
- 42:11Speaker 16: It's not great. It's just a fact. I'm not lying
- 42:15Speaker 16: to her to make her feel bad. This is actually
- 42:18Speaker 16: what people have said to me. I've got no issue,
- 42:21Speaker 16: but it is affecting everything else, not tip a toeing
- 42:24Speaker 16: through this book for another couple of weeks. This is constant.
- 42:27Speaker 16: You don't know what all the time because you're looking
- 42:29Speaker 16: at that phone playing in the stars, and it's ridiculous.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Checkie was a stretchous walk to Sandlers was suspended. He
- 42:37Speaker 2: must show causeway it shouldn't be sacked. How big a
- 42:40Speaker 2: deal is all this?
- 42:43Speaker 14: Well, in a country that is more interested in mass
- 42:46Speaker 14: than what is going on in parliament, this is actually
- 42:48Speaker 14: probably a pretty big thing. I think more people are
- 42:51Speaker 14: reading about this in the Daily Mail than anything else. Look,
- 42:55Speaker 14: I find Kyle's behavior pretty abrasive, and you know, it
- 43:01Speaker 14: apparently seems to work, but I think maybe he may
- 43:04Speaker 14: have just crossed the line this time. Again, I can't
- 43:08Speaker 14: believe that we've had this massive commercial relationship blow up
- 43:13Speaker 14: over someone's use of astrology and that someone else thinks
- 43:16Speaker 14: it's stupid. So look, I mean, they're part of the
- 43:20Speaker 14: legacy media. You wonder what happens after this, Andrew, Did
- 43:23Speaker 14: they go start a podcast each to make a whole
- 43:26Speaker 14: heit more money?
- 43:29Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think they got paid over
- 43:31Speaker 2: the odds. The station had to sack loss of staff
- 43:33Speaker 2: to pay for it. They're bombed in Melbourne, and I
- 43:36Speaker 2: think the station is privately glad that they can rip
- 43:39Speaker 2: the contract up. But Jemma, what is the moral to all?
- 43:44Speaker 2: This is being mean now not quite as lucrative as
- 43:49Speaker 2: it used to be.
- 43:50Speaker 15: Look, I've never been a fan of the shock jock thing, Andrew,
- 43:53Speaker 15: so I feel a little bit unqualified, But it's never
- 43:55Speaker 15: stopped me before, So why not answer the question?
- 44:00Speaker 7: True story?
- 44:01Speaker 15: One must be acquainted with one's weaknesses.
- 44:04Speaker 7: I don't.
- 44:05Speaker 15: I'm an employer, as you know, and taking that out
- 44:08Speaker 15: of the context of that radio show and into any
- 44:10Speaker 15: other place of employment, his behavior, in my view and
- 44:14Speaker 15: my experience, would have been untenable.
- 44:15Speaker 7: Is it sackable? Depends on your contract.
- 44:17Speaker 15: But publicly abusing a co worker and publicly telling your
- 44:21Speaker 15: coworker that everybody in the office essentially hates them. I
- 44:24Speaker 15: don't think that would fly in many workplaces, if any.
- 44:26Speaker 15: And also it's just not I don't know if people.
- 44:29Speaker 7: Want to listen to that.
- 44:30Speaker 15: There's so much negativity in the world anyway, do people
- 44:33Speaker 15: really want to listen to that.
- 44:34Speaker 7: You've mentioned that they bombed in Melbourne.
- 44:36Speaker 15: I saw something on the Beltow Times just before coming
- 44:39Speaker 15: on air. And for those who are uninitiated, it is
- 44:41Speaker 15: a West Australian gem get amongst it and it's a
- 44:44Speaker 15: satire account obviously, and the headline read new report confirms
- 44:48Speaker 15: that West Australians continue to cease caring about Kyle and
- 44:51Speaker 15: Jackie O. I don't even think they're broadcast in WA.
- 44:54Speaker 15: They've never been a thing, so look, I don't I
- 44:58Speaker 15: don't know that I would have spent one hundred mil.
- 45:00Speaker 7: On those two over ten years. I wouldn't have done that.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Well, I'd just say that JACKIEO enabled him and went
- 45:09Speaker 2: along with him being mean to a lot of other people.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But now that he's been mean to her the whole
- 45:14Speaker 2: the joke's over anyway, So there it is. Iranians, Caroline,
- 45:19Speaker 2: Iranians are celebrating the assassination of an unsupreme leader and
- 45:24Speaker 2: even cheering the attacks on his Islamus regime by Israel
- 45:28Speaker 2: and America. But meanwhile, here at home, we've seen the
- 45:32Speaker 2: Greens and the ABC and you know, people who have
- 45:35Speaker 2: never had to suffer from anything that the Iranian regime
- 45:39Speaker 2: has done to them, never had to suffer, they're attacking
- 45:44Speaker 2: these attacks. It's a very interesting dichotomy. You explain that,
- 45:47Speaker 2: please by, the Iranians are happy and the Greens and
- 45:50Speaker 2: the ABC here are sad.
- 45:54Speaker 14: Well, it's inexplicable when you think about this rationally. But
- 45:58Speaker 14: the ABCA and Greens, all, they've been raving over authoritarian
- 46:03Speaker 14: dictators for a very long time. So it doesn't surprise
- 46:06Speaker 14: me that they're upset about this or that they would
- 46:08Speaker 14: necessarily criticize someone who had suffered under this regime. I mean,
- 46:13Speaker 14: for the sorts of people that talk a lot about humanitarianism,
- 46:16Speaker 14: and you know, but it's all very convenient. It's when
- 46:20Speaker 14: that is convenient to them, it's when it suits. And unfortunately,
- 46:24Speaker 14: when things like this happen, and we know that this
- 46:27Speaker 14: has been a very very brutal regime. We know people
- 46:29Speaker 14: have been leaving there over the course of almost the
- 46:32Speaker 14: last fifty years to escape persecution and the like. The
- 46:36Speaker 14: fact that the ABC can carry on like this, well,
- 46:39Speaker 14: it's just another example, Andrew, of the hypocrisy, the lack
- 46:43Speaker 14: of understanding, and the tone deafness that we've come to
- 46:47Speaker 14: love about the National Broadcaster.
- 46:51Speaker 2: It's interesting in a gentlemen leftist hero Bill Clinton Bond Serbia,
- 46:57Speaker 2: no problem, I mean Barack Obama bomb that Libya lefted
- 47:00Speaker 2: a smoking ruin over run by militias, with Maham mc
- 47:05Speaker 2: gaddafi murdered in the most so have seen away. I
- 47:09Speaker 2: can't even describe it. Not a problem. But when Donald
- 47:12Speaker 2: Trump overturns this regime or tries to, oh, suddenly it's
- 47:17Speaker 2: evil personified.
- 47:18Speaker 7: Well, the simple fact for this cohort we're talking.
- 47:20Speaker 15: About is that they so despise the liberators that they
- 47:25Speaker 15: would deny freedom to the people.
- 47:27Speaker 7: Who are oppressed.
- 47:28Speaker 15: And it's perverted and it's twisted, and it makes no
- 47:32Speaker 15: objective sense. It certainly makes them not students of history
- 47:35Speaker 15: because they seem to they seem to forget the circumstances
- 47:39Speaker 15: under which the Iotola stole power back in nineteen seventy nine,
- 47:45Speaker 15: and the fact that he flew in on an Air
- 47:47Speaker 15: France jet after having lived very happily in France, enjoying
- 47:51Speaker 15: all of the freedoms of the West. And might I
- 47:53Speaker 15: remind our friends at the ABC and other places that
- 47:56Speaker 15: many of the children of mostly than our ceased, I
- 48:00Speaker 15: should say, leadership of the IGC in the Iranian regime
- 48:03Speaker 15: live in Western countries, live and study abroad in Western countries,
- 48:07Speaker 15: dressing like young the same young Westerners that the constitution
- 48:13Speaker 15: of the Iranian regime swears to do away with. Death
- 48:16Speaker 15: to America, death to Israel. I don't understand why we
- 48:20Speaker 15: have a cohort of such illiterate, historically illiterate people presenting
- 48:26Speaker 15: themselves as experts. And I can tell you what the
- 48:29Speaker 15: one divider is, Andrew, and the one line in the
- 48:31Speaker 15: sand is you ask yourself this question.
- 48:33Speaker 7: And I asked this to.
- 48:34Speaker 15: Those learned friends down at the National Broadcaster. Would you
- 48:37Speaker 15: be happy for your daughter to go live under that regime?
- 48:40Speaker 15: Would you be happy for your wife or your mother
- 48:42Speaker 15: to go live under that regime or your son? And
- 48:44Speaker 15: if the answer is not absolutely, I'll find the ticket tomorrow.
- 48:48Speaker 7: Then you're nothing but a hypocrite.
- 48:50Speaker 2: I got to go how true gem and toon Nini, Carolindarusso,
- 48:54Speaker 2: thank you so much, Sherry Marxen up next good night,
