- 1:59Speaker 1: one thing that I like to do, I like to
- 2:00Speaker 1: get into the Book of Proverbs. I follow that and
- 2:06Speaker 1: I try to line it up with the day of
- 2:08Speaker 1: the week it is. You know, there's thirty Proverbs thirty
- 2:11Speaker 1: one Proverbs thirty one chapters, and there's usually thirty days
- 2:14Speaker 1: in a month, thirty thirty one. Sometimes there's twenty nine.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So it's easy to follow. It's easy to do if
- 2:22Speaker 1: you want to make that your discipline. I got this
- 2:25Speaker 1: from my brother, my pastor, Mike Bumguard. He was promoted
- 2:31Speaker 1: into heaven. He's in the heavenly courts right now. But
- 2:34Speaker 1: I will never forget the impact that this man has
- 2:38Speaker 1: made on my life. So this is something that I
- 2:40Speaker 1: like to try to follow, and I like to try
- 2:43Speaker 1: to do so I encourage you as well. We're going
- 2:45Speaker 1: to be in a Book of Proverbs today, chapter fourteen.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And if you do have questions about the Bible, question
- 2:54Speaker 1: about a scripture we're going through, you want to get
- 2:56Speaker 1: on the podcast at number it's seven oh two nine
- 2:59Speaker 1: zero zero three seven seven nine seven two nine zero
- 3:04Speaker 1: zero three seven seven nine and real quick, I just
- 3:07Speaker 1: want to share that we have some great products in
- 3:13Speaker 1: our store right now. We have some shoes, some His
- 3:17Speaker 1: Radio shoes, some Hey Scent shoes you can get and
- 3:20Speaker 1: we just came out with an athletic line as well,
- 3:23Speaker 1: so you got some Athletic His Hot Radio shoes. We're
- 3:27Speaker 1: going to be developing more, so stay tuned. More announcements,
- 3:31Speaker 1: more information concerned that will be coming out soon. And
- 3:38Speaker 1: I actually want to do a couple of different segments
- 3:41Speaker 1: as we progress in this podcast. I want to do
- 3:45Speaker 1: a segment where we just get on here and we pray.
- 3:50Speaker 1: We come together, we can agree in prayer. If you
- 3:55Speaker 1: have a prayer request, you can send us that on
- 3:57Speaker 1: the website as well. We want to take a second
- 4:01Speaker 1: and just have a segment to pray. And I actually
- 4:03Speaker 1: have a prayer book. It's three sixty five Days of
- 4:07Speaker 1: Prayer for Men. Three sixty five Days of Prayer for Men.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So if you want to follow along with me, you
- 4:13Speaker 1: can go to Amazon or something. This is how the
- 4:17Speaker 1: cover looks. You can see that you can grab that.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And so today is the fourteenth and this prayer says,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's still promised, still promises the title of it, and
- 4:35Speaker 1: it's coming out of Jeremiah chapter chapter twenty nine to eleven.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It says, if I know the plans I have for you,
- 4:42Speaker 1: declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to
- 4:46Speaker 1: harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Now,
- 4:51Speaker 1: this scripture means a lot to me. It's meant a
- 4:54Speaker 1: lot to me over the years, different situations that I've
- 4:58Speaker 1: found myself in, difficulties and hardships that have come my way.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It's always great to whip off their scripture and to
- 5:06Speaker 1: know that His thoughts and his plans for us are
- 5:09Speaker 1: good to give us a future. No matter what you're
- 5:11Speaker 1: dealing with, no matter what you're going through right now,
- 5:14Speaker 1: people may have walked out on your life, people may
- 5:17Speaker 1: have treated you in a way that has been very
- 5:20Speaker 1: very abusive, or you might be in a situation financially.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Guess what. Just hold on to the promises of God,
- 5:30Speaker 1: continue to pray, keep on in prayer, keep all of
- 5:33Speaker 1: his promises, hold on to his word, and I believe
- 5:37Speaker 1: that God will pull you through. You know what, I
- 5:40Speaker 1: mean all right, So the prayer is thank you for
- 5:46Speaker 1: your amazing promises of life and fullness, Great God and King,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you honor me, and I am humbled for I know
- 5:55Speaker 1: that I'm not worthy to receive the gifts you anticipate
- 6:00Speaker 1: handing out. Only by your strength and training will I
- 6:04Speaker 1: be able to sustain the end of this path. Yet,
- 6:08Speaker 1: that is all part of your good plan for me.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I transform and model my corrupted intentions according to the
- 6:18Speaker 1: goodness of your spirit. Father. I ask you to be
- 6:23Speaker 1: diligent to train me and to spur me along the
- 6:27Speaker 1: path of your righteousness, teaching me to understand the nature
- 6:33Speaker 1: of your plan. I greatly cheer for the things you
- 6:37Speaker 1: have in store, eagerly anticipating the day you finally reveal
- 6:42Speaker 1: them to the world. May it be that many people
- 6:47Speaker 1: would turn their hearts towards you, devote themselves to you,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and to be lifted up as well when you come.
- 6:57Speaker 1: May your house be filled with those who love your ways.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I like that. Mayor house be filled with those who
- 7:05Speaker 1: love your ways? Man, how awesome is that? Yeah? That
- 7:17Speaker 1: is tight. That is tight. And it has a question here,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and this can be the question of the day. Right,
- 7:22Speaker 1: this could be our question the other day it says
- 7:24Speaker 1: can a plan to be good include times of difficulty
- 7:30Speaker 1: along the path? So can a plan that is intended
- 7:34Speaker 1: to be good include times of difficulties along the way?
- 7:40Speaker 1: So that is a good good question. Hit us up
- 7:42Speaker 1: in the chat room and our community if you want
- 7:45Speaker 1: to take a stab at it, if you want to
- 7:48Speaker 1: answer that question and get involved. What's up dis your
- 7:51Speaker 1: boy mister his Hop? You can check me out on
- 7:54Speaker 1: all my social media platforms as mister his Hop and hey,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'll follow you, like, subscribe to all that good stuff.
- 8:02Speaker 1: We're his hot Nation on YouTube, and check us out
- 8:06Speaker 1: on all of our networks as we get into it.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So that's a good question. Can a plan that is
- 8:16Speaker 1: intended to be good involve with difficulty? A lot of
- 8:19Speaker 1: us we like to have a plan that is easy, right.
- 8:23Speaker 1: We like to have a plan that does not involve
- 8:26Speaker 1: anything difficult. We just want to go right to the
- 8:28Speaker 1: finish line. But how do we grow with that type
- 8:33Speaker 1: of a plan. What kind of character are we going
- 8:36Speaker 1: to develop if we just work that type of a
- 8:39Speaker 1: plan where we get everything we want, when we want,
- 8:42Speaker 1: how we want it. God is not into spoiling his children.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Try that with your child. You see how spoiled your
- 8:49Speaker 1: child would be if you just give them everything they
- 8:51Speaker 1: want and do everything that they demand, like right here,
- 8:55Speaker 1: right now, right at the moment, this is what I want,
- 8:58Speaker 1: This is what I demand. Those type of plans. It
- 9:02Speaker 1: doesn't work in a natural so it's definitely not gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: work in the spiritual you know what I'm saying. So
- 9:16Speaker 1: all right, all right, all right, well, let's get to
- 9:22Speaker 1: my barbershop story, my next segment here. Let me let
- 9:27Speaker 1: me do this right as we introduce the next segment.
- 9:44Speaker 1: All right, well, I want you, guys, my prayer warriors
- 9:47Speaker 1: out there, I want you to continue to pray for
- 9:51Speaker 1: in the cut barbershop. I was just there a couple
- 9:55Speaker 1: hours ago today, and I believe that these barbers are
- 9:59Speaker 1: really close to read Bible because they keep asking me
- 10:04Speaker 1: questions about the Bible. Like I don't even have to
- 10:06Speaker 1: bring it up. They come to me and they asked
- 10:08Speaker 1: me questions. And this time I actually I was there
- 10:12Speaker 1: early and it was myself and my barber d one
- 10:17Speaker 1: on one, and we had some discussions. He actually got
- 10:19Speaker 1: to the point where he went to the bookstore, the
- 10:23Speaker 1: Barnes and Nobles bookstore, or whatever bookstore. He said he
- 10:26Speaker 1: went to to go look for a Bible. Now I
- 10:30Speaker 1: find this story interesting because he said he came in
- 10:35Speaker 1: there and he was just on his phone. He wasn't
- 10:37Speaker 1: really paying attention to the guy he was talking to
- 10:43Speaker 1: that was helping him. But he was on his phone
- 10:46Speaker 1: and he was just kind of doing this thing. He
- 10:48Speaker 1: was saying, hey, man, can you take me over to
- 10:51Speaker 1: these particular books and I'm looking for it, and guys like, okay,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I can help you out. And he asked him and said, man,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I need a Bible, like I need a Bible back
- 10:59Speaker 1: can break get down, like a Bible for dummies, right
- 11:03Speaker 1: like I want the basics, one on one starter Bible.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Because he's determined to understand this for himself. He wants
- 11:11Speaker 1: to read it. He wants to understand it. He's getting
- 11:13Speaker 1: a hunger and a desire to read it. And you
- 11:16Speaker 1: know that's the Lord. You know, this God's talking at
- 11:18Speaker 1: this man's heart when he's desiring himself to read it
- 11:24Speaker 1: and search for it. But here's the thing. He said,
- 11:26Speaker 1: he was looking down and he was really paying attention,
- 11:29Speaker 1: and then when he looked up, he saw this guy
- 11:31Speaker 1: the way he was dressed this guy was a Satan worshiper.
- 11:35Speaker 1: This guy had like had on black and had demonic
- 11:38Speaker 1: things on his shirt and stuff like that. And I
- 11:42Speaker 1: do want to say this that we're living in a
- 11:44Speaker 1: time where they are coming out the closet, right. Don't
- 11:48Speaker 1: be surprised when you see Satan worshippers, witches and warlocks
- 11:51Speaker 1: and people out there in public. They're not hiding no more.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They're not in secret. They are coming out of the
- 11:58Speaker 1: closet and they're you know, they're bold. They're bold with it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: So how much more bolder should we be as the
- 12:05Speaker 1: saints of God? But I'm excited though. When he looked
- 12:08Speaker 1: at the guy, he says, Oh, no, I don't think
- 12:10Speaker 1: you can help me. I don't think you know this topic.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So I told him, say, hey, man, why don't you
- 12:14Speaker 1: just tune it into my podcast because that's one thing
- 12:16Speaker 1: that I like to do. I like to go through
- 12:18Speaker 1: the Bible and break it down verse by verse and
- 12:22Speaker 1: give you something to you one so you can go
- 12:25Speaker 1: and study it in yourself. And so we were talking
- 12:28Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm excited, and I praise God that
- 12:31Speaker 1: at least this man got to the point where he
- 12:33Speaker 1: wants to buy a Bible, right, and he says that
- 12:40Speaker 1: they always talk about it, you know, they they talk.
- 12:43Speaker 1: People come in, they have sessions at the Bible at
- 12:46Speaker 1: the barbershop. Now, I mean, they might as well just
- 12:48Speaker 1: have church up in there, as far as I'm concerned.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So they come to me, come in, they come to me,
- 12:54Speaker 1: they call me pastor, and they really like some of
- 12:57Speaker 1: the things that I say. If you've been following by ministry,
- 13:00Speaker 1: you know that I don't like to share my opinion.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I like to share the word. I like to be
- 13:05Speaker 1: accurate on the word. I rely on the Holy Spirit.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And if I do share an opinion, or if I
- 13:11Speaker 1: don't know something, I'll let you know. I'm not going
- 13:13Speaker 1: to try to make it up. I'm not going to
- 13:15Speaker 1: be like, well this is that and the other and
- 13:18Speaker 1: it turns out to be false, or I'm not here
- 13:20Speaker 1: to leave people down a certain path. I don't have
- 13:24Speaker 1: an agenda of my own. I just want to share
- 13:27Speaker 1: the words. My attitude is this, we've been lied to enough, right,
- 13:31Speaker 1: We've been lied to by ministers, We've been lied to
- 13:33Speaker 1: by churches, by religion, by the world, friends and family,
- 13:37Speaker 1: and let's go to a place where we can get truth,
- 13:40Speaker 1: and that is the Word of God, that is the Bible.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Don't ever let anyone make you doubt the word. Don't
- 13:49Speaker 1: allow anyone to teach you that the Word is not accurate,
- 13:52Speaker 1: that is written by men, that there's contradictions. There's that,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and then the third in there. You know what, Tell
- 13:59Speaker 1: them to show you, tell them to prove it to you.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They can't prove to you. Just like they think we
- 14:04Speaker 1: don't know what we're talking about. They think that we
- 14:06Speaker 1: don't use common sense and all this and that because
- 14:09Speaker 1: we have faith in the Word of God, they don't
- 14:11Speaker 1: have proof to what they're saying. As well. If you're
- 14:14Speaker 1: gonna give me a bold statement and say that the
- 14:17Speaker 1: Bible is not accurate or have contradictions in it, then
- 14:20Speaker 1: be bold enough to back that up, like show me,
- 14:24Speaker 1: show me, show me where there's contradictions. All right, So
- 14:30Speaker 1: keep them in prayer. I think God is doing some
- 14:33Speaker 1: amazing things. I know God is I know God is
- 14:36Speaker 1: leading these people to themselves. So let's go ahead and
- 14:40Speaker 1: get into the word Proverbs fourteen today. Let me go
- 14:46Speaker 1: ahead and go before the Lord and prayer before we
- 14:50Speaker 1: jump into that. Because you pray over the word Father God,
- 14:53Speaker 1: we just asked that you just give us a revelation. Ask,
- 14:56Speaker 1: Father God, that you're a word. Father God, Oh Lord,
- 14:59Speaker 1: will do everything that you desire for it to do today,
- 15:02Speaker 1: that your word will accomplish the mission as it goes
- 15:06Speaker 1: out over this podcast and our hearts and our minds
- 15:09Speaker 1: and our thoughts. Lord God, let your word, Father God dominate. Lord,
- 15:13Speaker 1: as we praise the mighty name of Jesus, we thank
- 15:15Speaker 1: you Father, Amen and Amen. All right, y'all, Okay, let's
- 15:20Speaker 1: dive into it, all right. So Proverbs in chapter fourteen,
- 15:32Speaker 1: verse one, it says, a wise woman builds her house,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but the foolish pulls it down with her hands. Now
- 15:42Speaker 1: that doesn't really need much explaining, does it. We can
- 15:47Speaker 1: understand what that is saying. Now, this is scared towards women.
- 15:51Speaker 1: If you're wise, you will build your house. And there's
- 15:55Speaker 1: different ways you can build your house. There's different ways
- 16:00Speaker 1: that you can be in a relationship, and you can
- 16:02Speaker 1: build up your partner, your friend, your spouse, your wife,
- 16:06Speaker 1: or your husband, and there's also ways where you can
- 16:09Speaker 1: tear that person down. It's up to you how you
- 16:13Speaker 1: use your words. Do you always view things in a
- 16:15Speaker 1: negative light? Is it always negative when someone tries to
- 16:19Speaker 1: do something, even if they try to do something right,
- 16:22Speaker 1: can you always find a fault in it? Can you
- 16:25Speaker 1: always find a negative spin on it? That's something they
- 16:28Speaker 1: missed or is not exactly the way you want. It's
- 16:31Speaker 1: not a particular way that it's supposed to be for
- 16:36Speaker 1: you to accept it or to be happy, or can
- 16:39Speaker 1: you look at it in a positive light. Maybe they
- 16:41Speaker 1: don't have it one hundred percent, maybe they're not all
- 16:44Speaker 1: the way, but now they are at least eighty percent,
- 16:47Speaker 1: fifty or ninety percent. Can you celebrate the victories and
- 16:50Speaker 1: encourage your partner or friend to go the extra mile
- 16:56Speaker 1: to build them up. You know, a true leader will
- 17:00Speaker 1: inspire the people. A manager is bossy. They know how
- 17:08Speaker 1: something is supposed to operate and run right. A manager
- 17:11Speaker 1: is the control freak, the micromanager. But the leader is
- 17:14Speaker 1: the one that inspires inspiration. Okay also says that he
- 17:23Speaker 1: who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, but he
- 17:29Speaker 1: who is perverse in his ways despises him. So he
- 17:33Speaker 1: who walks in uprightness, what is uprightness? The person that
- 17:39Speaker 1: does the right thing. I wish I could say I've
- 17:44Speaker 1: done the right thing every time all of my decisions
- 17:47Speaker 1: have been right. I wish I could say that, but
- 17:51Speaker 1: I can't. And even after I became a Christian, I
- 17:55Speaker 1: still struggle with doing the right thing. But that doesn't
- 17:59Speaker 1: mean we shouldn't strive for it. That doesn't mean that
- 18:01Speaker 1: we should just cop out to have an attitude and say, well,
- 18:05Speaker 1: you know what, I can't do this, so I'm just
- 18:07Speaker 1: gonna do the wrong thing. Correct it, get back up
- 18:10Speaker 1: if you need to, and correct what needs to be
- 18:13Speaker 1: corrected so that you can get back in right standing
- 18:17Speaker 1: in the right place with God. Because it's connected to
- 18:20Speaker 1: your fear of the Lord. Like even when I go astray,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm not going astray too far, or I'm not gonna
- 18:25Speaker 1: be out there too long. I'm like, Okay, where's the altar.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Let me get to the altar, Let me get this right,
- 18:30Speaker 1: let me repent. That is a good sign that you
- 18:34Speaker 1: are saved. If when you do do something wrong, it
- 18:38Speaker 1: bothers you. Now, if you can do the wrong thing
- 18:40Speaker 1: and it doesn't bother you, you need to examine your
- 18:43Speaker 1: faith right and so fear of the Lord. And we
- 18:49Speaker 1: can see the evidence of not fearing the God in society.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Not fearing God in society today, we don't fear God.
- 18:56Speaker 1: You're just gonna wild out. You're gonna do what you want.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You're gonna give it an adultery. You're gonna step out,
- 19:03Speaker 1: You're gonna use your tongue like a sharp sword. You're
- 19:07Speaker 1: gonna do whatever you want to do. When the fear
- 19:10Speaker 1: of the Lord is not in your heart right, the
- 19:15Speaker 1: fear of God keeps us in check. So that's connected
- 19:18Speaker 1: to your uprightness. But he who is perverse in his
- 19:22Speaker 1: ways despises him. Now that goes even further. You despise
- 19:28Speaker 1: the Lord when you are perverse in your ways. You
- 19:32Speaker 1: know you just basically you hate God, is what it's saying.
- 19:35Speaker 1: You despise the Lord when you are perverse in your ways.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's not good. And the mouth of a fool is
- 19:46Speaker 1: a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise
- 19:50Speaker 1: will preserve them. And the mouth of the fool is
- 19:53Speaker 1: the rod of pride. What does the world say about pride?
- 19:58Speaker 1: The world always tells us to be proud of this,
- 20:00Speaker 1: be proud of that. Let's have a pride parade, Let's
- 20:04Speaker 1: pride this and pride that. But pride is destruction. We
- 20:08Speaker 1: need to get rid of pride. We need to be
- 20:10Speaker 1: able to humble ourselves even in your mouth. There's a
- 20:13Speaker 1: rod of pride that comes out of your mouth, right,
- 20:18Speaker 1: but the lips of the wise would preserve them. If
- 20:20Speaker 1: you're wise, you're going to quote the word of guys,
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're going to study, you're going to get counseled, you're
- 20:27Speaker 1: going to get understanding before you open your mouth. Concerning
- 20:31Speaker 1: a matter, right, where no oxnar the trough is clean,
- 20:40Speaker 1: but much increase comes by the strength of an ox
- 20:45Speaker 1: that's pretty simple. Where there's no oxen are, the trough
- 20:48Speaker 1: is clean. Basically, you don't have to clean up after
- 20:51Speaker 1: your animal, a beast of burdens. Right, there's much increase
- 20:55Speaker 1: when you have the means to work or to labor,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and the means to do that service that needs to
- 21:03Speaker 1: be done. But if you don't have the beast, right,
- 21:07Speaker 1: you don't have the means. If you don't have the means,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and then you can't increase, you can't get the income
- 21:15Speaker 1: that comes from that. So we don't need to spend
- 21:18Speaker 1: too much time on that one. That's kind of steth
- 21:20Speaker 1: to spend twenty as well. And faithful witness does not lie,
- 21:24Speaker 1: but a false witness will utter lies. Do you have
- 21:29Speaker 1: a problem with lions? Do you have a problem with
- 21:35Speaker 1: sharing the truth? The Bible says that you're a false witness.
- 21:41Speaker 1: A faithful witness won't do that. A faithful witness cannot lie,
- 21:46Speaker 1: is what the Bible says. You know, we know that
- 21:50Speaker 1: the Bible speaks harshly about lies. There's a place called
- 21:55Speaker 1: hell where liars are going. So if we've lied, who
- 22:00Speaker 1: struggle with lion? I've struggled with myself with lying as well.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Sometimes I still struggle with lion. Sometimes it's easier just
- 22:09Speaker 1: to leave out some information, or to not till the
- 22:15Speaker 1: entire truth, or to make it seem something when it's not.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And I have to repent, But we all have to repent.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Now is the time to get things right with the Lord,
- 22:28Speaker 1: because liars will get dealt with harshly. I don't care
- 22:32Speaker 1: who you are, Liars will be dealt with pretty harshly.
- 22:37Speaker 1: All right, well, let's keep it going. Let's get the
- 22:39Speaker 1: next scriptures up. Okay. Verse six A Scofford seeks wisdom
- 22:51Speaker 1: but does not find it. Let me see if I
- 22:56Speaker 1: can read it on this stream. I got multiple screams.
- 22:58Speaker 1: That's why you see me looking back back and forth.
- 23:01Speaker 1: A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it. But
- 23:04Speaker 1: knowledge is easy to him who understands go from the
- 23:08Speaker 1: presence of a foolish man when you do not perceive
- 23:11Speaker 1: in him lips of knowledge. All right, well, excuse me.
- 23:21Speaker 1: A scoffer seks wisdom but does not find it. A scoffer,
- 23:25Speaker 1: what is a scoffer? A scoffer? You know? A person
- 23:28Speaker 1: who scoffs, right, A person who's scoffs so, a person
- 23:32Speaker 1: who doesn't want to receive truth, doesn't want to receive
- 23:36Speaker 1: knowledge or wisdom, or instruction or correction. They scoff at you,
- 23:39Speaker 1: They make fun of you, They despise you in their heart,
- 23:42Speaker 1: they scorn you, they make fun of you, they even
- 23:46Speaker 1: mock you. All right, And even when they scoffer seeks wisdom,
- 23:52Speaker 1: they won't find it because they don't have the heart
- 23:55Speaker 1: for it. It's too hard for him. But knowledge is
- 24:00Speaker 1: easy to him who has understanding. Now that right, really,
- 24:04Speaker 1: right there, really jumped out at me. And those knowledge
- 24:09Speaker 1: is easy to those who have understanding. How many times
- 24:13Speaker 1: have you taken a class or a course? How many
- 24:18Speaker 1: times have you studied for a test and taken a test,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and the test was difficult. The test was hard, like
- 24:26Speaker 1: you were sweating, you were biting on the pencil. Because
- 24:28Speaker 1: of the test of ninety times out of the ten
- 24:32Speaker 1: we did not prepare for the test. And I got
- 24:35Speaker 1: to talk from personal experience as well. There's been many
- 24:38Speaker 1: times when I didn't prepare for the test and I
- 24:41Speaker 1: just come up at the last minute and try to
- 24:43Speaker 1: just throw my answers in. And that test was difficult.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But if you study, prepare, here's a point. If you
- 24:52Speaker 1: know the answer, if you have the information and you
- 24:55Speaker 1: know the answer, that test is easy. It's not a
- 24:58Speaker 1: problem when you know the material and you know the
- 25:00Speaker 1: information well. Knowledge is easy to him who has understanding.
- 25:06Speaker 1: And there is knowledge that we need in our walk
- 25:09Speaker 1: with the Lord. There is knowledge that we need to
- 25:12Speaker 1: gain and to understand in our relationship with God. Right wisdom,
- 25:19Speaker 1: the wisdom of the pruning is understanding his way. But
- 25:23Speaker 1: the folly of fools is deceit. I jumped to control
- 25:27Speaker 1: on verse seven. Go from the presence of a foolish
- 25:31Speaker 1: man when we do not perceive in him lips of knowledge.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I have a story with this. The other day, my
- 25:40Speaker 1: wife and I we were driving around taking care of Arans,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and you know, my wife was tapped into the spear.
- 25:47Speaker 1: She was saying, you know, we need to go pray
- 25:49Speaker 1: for this family. So we get out and prayed for
- 25:51Speaker 1: a well, I don't know if they were a family.
- 25:52Speaker 1: It was a homeless man and a homeless woman. I
- 25:56Speaker 1: don't know if they were a family or not, but
- 25:57Speaker 1: they're out on the corner in this situation. So we
- 26:01Speaker 1: gave him a couple of bucks and we pray for them.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Then when we got into our neighborhood, there was a
- 26:05Speaker 1: guy that was walking that I knew and passing. I've
- 26:09Speaker 1: seen him at the gas station. And I get out
- 26:13Speaker 1: and I'm like, hey, man, would you like prayer? You know,
- 26:15Speaker 1: he was out eating and stuff and we're just talking
- 26:17Speaker 1: and I was asking him, you know, do you have
- 26:20Speaker 1: a relationship with the Lord? Do you know what the
- 26:22Speaker 1: Bible says and all this stuff. And he started giving
- 26:25Speaker 1: me some stories about yeah, he's good with God and
- 26:28Speaker 1: he's right with God, but he thinks that his sin
- 26:32Speaker 1: is okay, you know. And I started talking to him
- 26:35Speaker 1: and trying to see what the Holy spirit. You know,
- 26:37Speaker 1: you can't come to the Lord unless you're being drawn
- 26:39Speaker 1: by the Holy Spirit. So I was trying to see
- 26:42Speaker 1: where they're at. The Holy Spirit was drawing this man.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So I just threw some things out there, like, you know,
- 26:47Speaker 1: you can't just live your own way and think that
- 26:50Speaker 1: you're right with God. You can't live a life of sin.
- 26:53Speaker 1: If you're stealing, or if you're you know, having sex
- 26:56Speaker 1: aside of marriage, if you're doing all these other things
- 26:58Speaker 1: and you know you don't have her shure with God,
- 27:00Speaker 1: your sin will always separate you from God. But he
- 27:03Speaker 1: was not receiving that. He was still thinking like him
- 27:06Speaker 1: and God was cool. They were homeboys or whatever, like
- 27:09Speaker 1: his attitude was. And when I saw that he was
- 27:14Speaker 1: not really receiving what I was saying, and he just
- 27:17Speaker 1: wanted to keep repeating what he was saying, that I
- 27:19Speaker 1: applied the scripture says, go from the presence of a
- 27:22Speaker 1: foolish man when you do not perceive in him the
- 27:26Speaker 1: lips of knowledge, like what good are you doing at
- 27:30Speaker 1: that point when someone's got their mind met up? This
- 27:33Speaker 1: is a spiritual stronghold. So I knew at this point, well,
- 27:37Speaker 1: you know, I just have to pray and take a
- 27:39Speaker 1: thordy in the spirit because talking to him right now
- 27:42Speaker 1: is not going to do any good. We're going to
- 27:43Speaker 1: just debate and argue and go back and forth, and
- 27:46Speaker 1: chances are I can lose him, you know, I can
- 27:49Speaker 1: put some animosity in his heart towards the gospel if
- 27:53Speaker 1: I come off the wrong way. So I just left
- 27:56Speaker 1: and my wife was like, well, it sounds like you're
- 27:58Speaker 1: getting a little irritated or you just and stopped and whatever,
- 28:01Speaker 1: because he even called me back from prayer, and I'm like,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you know, I do apologize. I kind of cut the
- 28:06Speaker 1: situation because of what was coming out of his mouth, right.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I wanted to flee from his presence, but at least
- 28:12Speaker 1: he was open for prayer. So I went back and
- 28:14Speaker 1: prayed for him and got in a car, and you know,
- 28:18Speaker 1: so you know, just be led by the spirit when
- 28:22Speaker 1: you're out there minishing to people. And it says fools
- 28:24Speaker 1: mock at sin, but among the upright there is favor
- 28:29Speaker 1: fools mock at sin. How many people do you know
- 28:33Speaker 1: in our jobs in society, they do not take sin seriously.
- 28:37Speaker 1: It's like a game. Even the first of a group
- 28:42Speaker 1: of people and the man and the woman that we
- 28:44Speaker 1: prayed for that day, the guy was there's like there
- 28:48Speaker 1: was not a serious thought in his head. He was
- 28:51Speaker 1: taking it as a joke. He wanted to debate some
- 28:54Speaker 1: stuff about Paul and get into this theological debate. But
- 28:58Speaker 1: he's sent up here. His life is ragged and jacked up,
- 29:00Speaker 1: and you can tell he's just not living a life
- 29:04Speaker 1: that it's pleasing to the Lord. He's not submitted. And
- 29:07Speaker 1: you know, I'm not trying to judge him, but I'm
- 29:09Speaker 1: trying to get to some issues and talk to him.
- 29:11Speaker 1: But he was mocking. It was like a game. There's
- 29:15Speaker 1: a lot of people who think that this planet is
- 29:18Speaker 1: a playground, but it's actually a battlefield. There's some things
- 29:21Speaker 1: that we do have to sober up and get serious
- 29:24Speaker 1: about in One of course of those things is your
- 29:27Speaker 1: relationship with the Lord. All right, are we ready for
- 29:35Speaker 1: the next scripture? Let me see first ten. The heart
- 29:41Speaker 1: knows its own bitterness and a strange the heart is
- 29:47Speaker 1: a little on bitterness, and age stranger does not share
- 29:51Speaker 1: its joy. Okay, a heart knows its own bitterness, and
- 30:01Speaker 1: a stranger does not share its joy with that space lean,
- 30:08Speaker 1: my apologies, I'm getting all these notifications popping up that
- 30:12Speaker 1: self explanatory as well. You know, a heart knows its
- 30:15Speaker 1: own bitterness, and a stranger does not share its joy, Like,
- 30:19Speaker 1: how can you judge within another person's heart? Right, there's
- 30:24Speaker 1: certain things that we just we don't understand, We shouldn't
- 30:27Speaker 1: even speak of because we don't know only that person,
- 30:30Speaker 1: know only that person in his own heart, privacy of
- 30:35Speaker 1: the heart, And even if they try to invite you
- 30:37Speaker 1: in and try to share it with you, you still don't know. Right,
- 30:42Speaker 1: So we should always have compassion and be quick to
- 30:45Speaker 1: listen and try to understand the best we can what
- 30:49Speaker 1: a person is going through. All Right, our next batch,
- 30:56Speaker 1: the house of the wicked will be overthrown, but the
- 30:59Speaker 1: tear of the upright will flourish. Now, this kind of
- 31:03Speaker 1: jumped out on me as well. Notice the difference between
- 31:08Speaker 1: the wicked and the righteous, wickedness and righteousness. And that's
- 31:13Speaker 1: the two distinctions the Bible do make about people groups. Right.
- 31:18Speaker 1: The Bible's not concerned about black or white. The Bible's
- 31:21Speaker 1: not concerned about rich or poor. The Bible's not really
- 31:24Speaker 1: concerned about male or female. But the Bible does make
- 31:28Speaker 1: a distinction between the righteous and the wicked. And we
- 31:32Speaker 1: have to constantly examine ourselves and know which side we
- 31:36Speaker 1: fall on. Do we fall on the side of the
- 31:38Speaker 1: righteous or the side of the wicked, because the house
- 31:42Speaker 1: of the wicked would be overthrown like God has promised
- 31:46Speaker 1: to punish it to deal with wicked people. Like, there's
- 31:49Speaker 1: no offens of butts, there's no joking, there's no guess work,
- 31:53Speaker 1: there's no oh, maybe this or that or the other. No,
- 31:56Speaker 1: God straight up like to have your house over that
- 32:01Speaker 1: is not a good thing, right, But the tent, now
- 32:05Speaker 1: this is not even a house. Like if you're you
- 32:07Speaker 1: have a tent, but you're a righteous person, you're upright,
- 32:11Speaker 1: you are still flourished, Like, God will fight for you.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Guy's got your back. There is a way that seems
- 32:18Speaker 1: right to a man, but it's in as a way
- 32:20Speaker 1: of judging it. Now, this is a very popular scripture
- 32:23Speaker 1: in the Proverbs, a scary scripture really. I mean, if
- 32:29Speaker 1: you think about it, there is a way that seems
- 32:31Speaker 1: right to a man. You can think and seem and
- 32:35Speaker 1: guess right, you're living under a question mark. Why live
- 32:40Speaker 1: under that question mark? But it seems right to you?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Who wants to live a life that seems right in
- 32:47Speaker 1: your own eyes? That's when you're leaning to your own
- 32:49Speaker 1: understanding and you're controlled by your emotions and your feelings.
- 32:54Speaker 1: That's when you're all about what you think and what
- 32:56Speaker 1: you want and where you're at. But that could lead
- 33:00Speaker 1: to death. Right like death, there's no pulling, no punches here.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Like the end of it is the way of death.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Are you in the way of death? Are you examining
- 33:12Speaker 1: life and living life through your own lenses? Are you
- 33:17Speaker 1: living in life according to God and according to his word,
- 33:21Speaker 1: according to the instruction we get in his word to
- 33:24Speaker 1: do his will. That's the safe place. Because the word
- 33:27Speaker 1: of God can bless you or the word of God
- 33:29Speaker 1: will judge you at the end, it's up to us.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It is up to us. We love it. Even in laughter,
- 33:37Speaker 1: the heart main sorrow, and the end of mirth may
- 33:42Speaker 1: be grief. So even in laughter, like the verse that
- 33:46Speaker 1: we just read, no one knows the bitterness of anyone's heart.
- 33:53Speaker 1: No one really knows where someone is at. That's why
- 33:56Speaker 1: we need to pray for people. The backslider in heart
- 34:00Speaker 1: will be filled with his own ways, but a good
- 34:03Speaker 1: man will be satisfied from above. Now, that is something
- 34:07Speaker 1: right there that is powerful. If you deal with backsliding,
- 34:12Speaker 1: or if you know someone who is backslating, they walked
- 34:16Speaker 1: away from God. The Bible says that he will be
- 34:20Speaker 1: filled with his own ways. A backslider is filled with
- 34:25Speaker 1: their own ways. And here's the thing, there's no satisfaction
- 34:29Speaker 1: in your own way. That a lot of people they
- 34:31Speaker 1: think that they want to live a life that pleases them.
- 34:35Speaker 1: They're all about pleasing them all the relationships and everything
- 34:39Speaker 1: that they encounter in life. If it's not serving their purpose,
- 34:42Speaker 1: if it's not pleasing them, they discard the relationship. But
- 34:47Speaker 1: you can never please yourself. You are not created to
- 34:50Speaker 1: please yourself, to live a life to self. You were
- 34:53Speaker 1: created to please the Father. And a good man will
- 34:57Speaker 1: be satisfied. See, there's no satisfaction pleasing yourself, but you
- 35:02Speaker 1: find satisfaction from Heaven, from above, from your relationship with God.
- 35:08Speaker 1: The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well
- 35:12Speaker 1: his steps. The simple believes every word, but the prudent
- 35:16Speaker 1: considers well his steps. Now I've dealt with this myself.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I try to get people the benefit of the doubts.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I feel like, you know what, this person is good
- 35:32Speaker 1: to go or sometimes I'll be you know this that
- 35:38Speaker 1: in the other and whatnot. But the Bible says that
- 35:45Speaker 1: you have to study your ways. You can't necessarily you
- 35:53Speaker 1: take everybody's at their word, especially when it comes to
- 35:57Speaker 1: the Bible. That's one thing that I want to shout out.
- 36:02Speaker 1: D At the barbershop, he went, and he's picking up
- 36:06Speaker 1: his own books so he can understand this for himself,
- 36:09Speaker 1: like he's on a journey, and I believe that he's
- 36:12Speaker 1: going to find his path. I believe he's going to
- 36:14Speaker 1: find his way before it's too late. Right, all right,
- 36:21Speaker 1: time for our next batch of scriptures. He says, a
- 36:29Speaker 1: wise man.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Let me see, okay, he says, a wise man fears
- 36:42Speaker 3: and departs from evil, but a fool rages.
- 36:46Speaker 1: And his self confidence. Now, a wise man will fear
- 36:50Speaker 1: and depart from evil, but a fool will go on,
- 36:53Speaker 1: and not only go on, but he'll be confident. You
- 36:56Speaker 1: know what I'm saying about the judgment that's coming upon him.
- 36:59Speaker 1: That's crazy. A quick tempered man acts foolishly, and a
- 37:03Speaker 1: man of wicked intentions is hated. A quick temperament. How
- 37:11Speaker 1: many people do you know who are quick tempered? And
- 37:14Speaker 1: you can just jump into a situation and you regret
- 37:18Speaker 1: what you said or what you did, and then if
- 37:21Speaker 1: you have wicked intentions, you'll be hated, right, You're hated,
- 37:25Speaker 1: the simple inher it folly, the simple inherent folly. But
- 37:32Speaker 1: the prudent are crowned with knowledge. And you we go
- 37:37Speaker 1: again talking about the simple person, the simple inherent folly.
- 37:41Speaker 1: If you don't read the contract of fine print, if
- 37:43Speaker 1: you don't take the due diligence to do it, it's
- 37:46Speaker 1: got to be done. Yeah, you can end up hurting
- 37:50Speaker 1: yourself right where we're at. But the prudent into our
- 38:00Speaker 1: crown with knowledge. You need that knowledge, you need an understanding.
- 38:03Speaker 1: The evil will bow before the good. There's a distinction again,
- 38:07Speaker 1: good versus evil. The evil will bow before the good,
- 38:11Speaker 1: and the wicked at the gate of the righteous. So
- 38:14Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what it looks like right now. Even
- 38:18Speaker 1: with d today talking at the barbershops, he singing, man,
- 38:24Speaker 1: look at the world, like if you're almighty God, almighty creator,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and you look at the state of the world, like,
- 38:30Speaker 1: how can you justify that? Like how come you're letting
- 38:33Speaker 1: everything go out of control? And I tell him, I said, well,
- 38:36Speaker 1: man has free will. God gives us a choice, and
- 38:39Speaker 1: man has chosen what you see in front of you today.
- 38:43Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, the wicked are
- 38:45Speaker 1: going to bow before the righteous. They're not going to
- 38:48Speaker 1: get away with it. Even the singing worshippers when they
- 38:50Speaker 1: recruit people, they tell them, look at the world, look
- 38:53Speaker 1: at the wickedness in the world. We're winning. They try
- 38:56Speaker 1: to tell the people that they're winning, that the mean
- 39:00Speaker 1: he's gonna win, that he was gonna prevail. But it's not.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It's not the end of the story yet, it's only
- 39:06Speaker 1: at the beginning. It's those who can end the situation.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Those are the people who can brag about it. Right
- 39:16Speaker 1: verse twenty, the poor man is headed even by his
- 39:20Speaker 1: own neighbor. But the rich has many friends. And that's
- 39:25Speaker 1: just making observation. Right, Even though you're rich and you
- 39:29Speaker 1: have many friends, you don't know their intention. They could
- 39:32Speaker 1: be just trying to get with you, to get something
- 39:40Speaker 1: from you, you know what I mean. Sometimes when I'm
- 39:43Speaker 1: strolling on social media, I come across these videos. How
- 39:46Speaker 1: many of you have come across those videos of these
- 39:50Speaker 1: gold diggers, Right, they come across these men, they stand
- 39:55Speaker 1: out and they step away from their car and they,
- 40:00Speaker 1: you know, try to talk to the females passing by,
- 40:03Speaker 1: and then at first they show no interest. But then
- 40:05Speaker 1: when he goes to his car and all that. Then
- 40:07Speaker 1: they come back they're like, oh, oh, what's up. And
- 40:10Speaker 1: there they change her tune. Now now they're ready to
- 40:12Speaker 1: kick it and ready to do this, and the an
- 40:13Speaker 1: the other. But then there's a price tag too. It well,
- 40:16Speaker 1: you got to pay for my services if you want
- 40:18Speaker 1: me to hang out. Listen there any other and so yeah,
- 40:22Speaker 1: that's just the heart and the heart of man, you know.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And it says right here, he who's where were we at
- 40:33Speaker 1: verse twenty one? Right, we can get it up on
- 40:37Speaker 1: my other scheme. Here, he who despises his neighbors sends,
- 40:44Speaker 1: But he who has mercy on the poor happiest. He
- 40:49Speaker 1: have mercy on the poor. There you go. We're just
- 40:52Speaker 1: talking about the gold diggers, right. But if you have
- 40:54Speaker 1: mercy on the poor, now, don't get me wrong. You know,
- 40:56Speaker 1: if you aren't in a relationship and you're looking to
- 40:59Speaker 1: get married, marry somebody who knows how to pay bills
- 41:02Speaker 1: and take care of stuff. But you know, there is
- 41:05Speaker 1: a balance. If you have mercy on the poor. The
- 41:08Speaker 1: Bible says to lend to the poor. When you lend
- 41:11Speaker 1: to the poor, you lend to the lord. The Bible
- 41:15Speaker 1: says that when you give, you will receive, So have
- 41:18Speaker 1: mercy upon the poor as well happiest seeing it said
- 41:24Speaker 1: in twenty two. Do they not go astray who devise evil?
- 41:29Speaker 1: But mercy and truth belongs to those who devise good.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Do they not go astray who devise evil? Yes, they
- 41:39Speaker 1: go a straight If you're devising evil in your heart,
- 41:41Speaker 1: yes she will go astray. But mercy and truth belongs
- 41:45Speaker 1: to those who devise good. Okay, so what are you
- 41:53Speaker 1: devising in your heart? Are you devising evil? Are you
- 41:57Speaker 1: devising good? It says, in all labor there is profit,
- 42:03Speaker 1: but idol chatter leads only to poverty. That self explanatory.
- 42:09Speaker 1: All labor there's profit. Go find something to do, even
- 42:13Speaker 1: if it's at McDonald's or something. Do something, but idle
- 42:17Speaker 1: chatter just leads to poverty. The crown of the wise
- 42:20Speaker 1: is their richest, but the foolishness of fools is folly.
- 42:25Speaker 1: So the wise will have riches and fools will have folly.
- 42:29Speaker 1: A true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies.
- 42:36Speaker 1: The true witness will deliver souls. That's a good way
- 42:43Speaker 1: to tell whether or not the church you go to
- 42:46Speaker 1: is a good church or whether or not this is
- 42:48Speaker 1: a good ministry or a good organization to be involved with.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Are they delivering souls? Do you see lives being changed?
- 42:56Speaker 1: Do you see people getting helped and encouraged? Do you
- 43:00Speaker 1: you see souls getting touched? Or are they leading them
- 43:03Speaker 1: into bondage? That's a good way to tell. In the
- 43:09Speaker 1: fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence, and his
- 43:13Speaker 1: children will have a place of refuge. In the fear
- 43:19Speaker 1: of the Lord, there is strong confidence, and his children
- 43:22Speaker 1: will have a place of refuge. Amen. When you fear
- 43:26Speaker 1: the Lord, you have a strong confidence and you know
- 43:29Speaker 1: that God's place of protection in place of refuge. The
- 43:33Speaker 1: name of the Lord is a strong tower the fear.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Let me see, the fear of the Lord is a
- 43:42Speaker 1: fountain of life to turn one away from the stairs
- 43:46Speaker 1: of death. The fear of the Lord is a fountain
- 43:48Speaker 1: of life. Now that's a good memory scripture to have.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Do you fear the Lord, because if you don't fear
- 43:54Speaker 1: the Lord, then your head is straight to death, like
- 43:57Speaker 1: death is your ward. To turn you away from the
- 44:04Speaker 1: stairs of death. First, to anyway in the multitude of
- 44:07Speaker 1: people is a king's honor. But in the lack of
- 44:11Speaker 1: people is the downfall of princess. And we all know
- 44:14Speaker 1: we want people to be a part of our ministry.
- 44:17Speaker 1: We want people to be a part of our business.
- 44:20Speaker 1: We want to attract people. Right, that self explanatory there,
- 44:26Speaker 1: and then verse twenty nine. He who is slow to
- 44:31Speaker 1: wrath has great understanding, but he who is impulsive exalts falling.
- 44:39Speaker 1: So if you're slow to wrath, you have great understanding.
- 44:42Speaker 1: But if you're impulsive, you exalt falling. Do you want
- 44:46Speaker 1: to be a person that exalts falling? Yeah, you might.
- 44:50Speaker 1: People might think you're tough or whatever. You know, you
- 44:54Speaker 1: just hot headed and quick tempered. But it says in
- 44:58Speaker 1: a pulsive person results falling, and that's the legacy that
- 45:03Speaker 1: you'll lead is a lot of falling. But if you're
- 45:06Speaker 1: slow to wraft, you have great understanding. Verse thirty. A
- 45:12Speaker 1: sound heart is life to the body, but envy is
- 45:16Speaker 1: rotteness to the bone. Now, the Bible says a lot
- 45:19Speaker 1: about being healthy and having a healthy body. When there's
- 45:24Speaker 1: a term, they say, laughter is medicine to the soul.
- 45:28Speaker 1: So when you have a sound heart, it is life
- 45:32Speaker 1: to the body. Right, Why be bitter? Why be upset?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Why be angry and frustrated all the time, because envy
- 45:41Speaker 1: will rotten the bones, like having the wrong heart and
- 45:44Speaker 1: the wrong attitude. In the medical profession, they're finding this
- 45:48Speaker 1: out as well. They tell their patience they need to forgive.
- 45:53Speaker 1: They tell their patients about these negative emotions can affect
- 45:58Speaker 1: the body in a negative awake and tear the body down.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And I've been on both sides of it, and I'll
- 46:04Speaker 1: tell you this is true. All right, let's get our
- 46:08Speaker 1: last scriptures for today. Let me see where we're at,
- 46:20Speaker 1: all right. It says he who oppresses the poor reproaches
- 46:26Speaker 1: his maker, but he who honors him has mercy on
- 46:31Speaker 1: the meeting. So if you oppress the poor, you reproach
- 46:35Speaker 1: your maker. God does not want us to take advantage
- 46:37Speaker 1: of the poor. This is not his heart nor his will.
- 46:42Speaker 1: The wicked is banished in his wickedness, but the righteous
- 46:48Speaker 1: has a refuge in his death. Now I read the
- 46:53Speaker 1: other day that a wicked man's hope will perish at death,
- 46:57Speaker 1: And no, you don't want that. I want to be
- 47:00Speaker 1: in that position where whatever you hope for, you like
- 47:03Speaker 1: you have no hope in hell. Is what the Bible
- 47:06Speaker 1: saying in judgment there's no hope. You have no hope
- 47:10Speaker 1: of getting out. But the righteous has a refuge in
- 47:14Speaker 1: his death, like you going to a place that is
- 47:17Speaker 1: prepared for you when you die, a place of blessing
- 47:21Speaker 1: when you die. If you are a righteous person, wisdom
- 47:26Speaker 1: rests and the heart of him who has understanding. But
- 47:30Speaker 1: what is in the heart of fools is made known.
- 47:34Speaker 1: So a fool will make us heart known plainly. But
- 47:38Speaker 1: wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Why because you took the time out to search the scriptures,
- 47:45Speaker 1: to study, to get into the word righteousness exalts a nation.
- 47:50Speaker 1: But sin is a reproach to any people. Now we
- 47:54Speaker 1: need to put this on the White House, on our capital,
- 47:58Speaker 1: the scripture righteousness saying, Remember we were talking about righteousness
- 48:03Speaker 1: and wickedness earlier. How the wicked are going to be
- 48:06Speaker 1: judged like sin is a reproach to any people, it says,
- 48:11Speaker 1: But righteousness can exult in entire nation. That is our currency,
- 48:17Speaker 1: That is what we need. That is our blessing or refuge.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Our success is that our righteousness, our righteous acts, our
- 48:25Speaker 1: righteous attitudes, basically doing the right thing, doing the right
- 48:29Speaker 1: thing by God, They're doing the right thing by his people.
- 48:34Speaker 1: The last scripture, the king's favor is towards a wise servant,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but his wrath is against him who causes shame. Favor
- 48:47Speaker 1: is towards a wise servant. Who is that wise servant?
- 48:51Speaker 1: That wise servant is that person who exercises righteousness, the
- 48:58Speaker 1: person who gets under understanding. The person who has understanding
- 49:03Speaker 1: knowledge is easy to that person. The person who takes
- 49:08Speaker 1: time out to really study their steps, study their life,
- 49:13Speaker 1: study the path of life and where that path is
- 49:17Speaker 1: leading them. That is also a wise person. Jone or
