Frogmore Stew · May 30, 2026 · 24m

South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District has an open seat, and the primary fight is already revealing two very different paths forward. With Ralph Norman running for governor, Andrew Clough and Mallory Dittmer make their case to voters on growth, infrastructure, rural communities, democracy, women’s rights, and what honest representation should look like in CD5. From Rock Hill and Fort Mill to the rural counties across the district, this race could shape how South Carolina’s 5th District is represented in Washington.
