Transcript
- 0:00Oh my gosh, dude, look at how fancy this is.
- 0:04Oh, fancy boys in the house. Look at that Josh and the giant.
- 0:09What is that, a mouse? Blam blam.
- 0:11I saw my wrist. I saw my wrist.
- 0:15I saw my wrist. So this gold chain yeah is
- 0:19actually super fake, but I like I bought it for like 10 bucks
- 0:23when I. Was trying to.
- 0:26Yeah, but I bought it in college because I was trying to be a
- 0:30rapper, you know? And I was like, I need a gold
- 0:32chain. Type.
- 0:33So I just didn't like I told people it was real, but this is
- 0:35for sure like Alibaba didn't. But it's lasted since then.
- 0:41Right. Well so my mom put like clear
- 0:43coat on it to make it last. What?
- 0:46Yeah, like, and then what they put on like the nails and stuff.
- 0:48Yeah, I mean, that is clear coat.
- 0:50I just didn't know you could do that like on a chain.
- 0:52That's pretty high. I That's actually kind of sick
- 0:53IQ. So yeah, so I exude wealth, give
- 0:59the appearance. Yeah, I honestly think this is
- 1:01kind of a slightly better, more interesting cold open than what
- 1:04I had planned. So let's push that for another
- 1:06time. And now I'm going to act like
- 1:09now I'm going to act like we're going right into hey guys,
- 1:16welcome back to Josh and the Giant.
- 1:17My name is Ben. This is Josh.
- 1:20What up? And here we are.
- 1:21We're just a couple of whites and I'm non white.
- 1:27Thank you. Just sitting in a room hanging
- 1:30out. And what we're going to do now,
- 1:32which we started in the last episode, we are gonna open packs
- 1:35because we caught the gambling bug because Josh opened up
- 1:38banger. Here we go.
- 1:41By the way, while we're getting the pack, I had a friend, my my
- 1:44friend Brandon proposed this idea.
- 1:47Why don't we call like white people Nilas?
- 1:52Like what up my Nila? Like a nila wafer.
- 1:55Sure, that sounds. Really could be something, could
- 1:58be something there. What if also, Josh, what if you
- 2:05never spoke again? Also, what if we just let black
- 2:08people have a thing? You know what I mean?
- 2:10We don't need to have our own version of it.
- 2:12Son of a gun, I guess. What is that Rock'n'roll?
- 2:15Let's let's take. It I mean, but isn't that the
- 2:17whole point of like imminent? It's like, oh, we now we need a
- 2:21white guy to do it. Walk out.
- 2:23Oh, Cal Korver's here. Now we need a white guy to do
- 2:26it. Let's open these Dang packs and
- 2:29don't you ever talk about Eminem, Marcus?
- 2:32Nope. Marshall Mathers.
- 2:34Marcus Rogers, Marcus Rogers, he's such a good rocker, Jesus
- 2:38said. OK, remind me which one do I
- 2:41need to so I even know what cards are good?
- 2:44So we have no idea, uh. Oh, so I got the.
- 2:48Pack opening with my teeth like a real like a real child.
- 2:52Just the panties off, hey? Hey chill out after he got
- 2:56married to it. OK.
- 2:58Bow, bow, bow, bow. So you take the back card, which
- 3:03is an energy in like modern packs, move it to the front, put
- 3:06it to the front, all right. Here we go.
- 3:08Let's see what you got, Ben. Here we go, thug.
- 3:10Energy, wait, slow, poke. All right tight.
- 3:16Couldn't care less about any of these.
- 3:19Let me know if there's a full art.
- 3:23OK. Oh, wait, hold on, hold on.
- 3:26It looks kind of gas. That's just.
- 3:29I think that's just a hollow. I'll put it to the side, though.
- 3:34Oh, it's a worm. It's so warm.
- 3:36It's a Dun Dun sparse. All right, I didn't get.
- 3:39Anything done done Sparse. I didn't get, I didn't get
- 3:42anything. I got, I got oh, oh, here we go.
- 3:45Now that Evie looks kind of gas, that EV is pretty tough.
- 3:47Fighting something. Street Fighter.
- 3:52Street Fighter slow poke something.
- 3:53Slow poke. OK, that looks like a blood
- 3:58thing. So none of these.
- 4:00Are nothing. No, no.
- 4:02Lion, tiger. Other thing.
- 4:06Oh, that's cute. Not really.
- 4:08I mean, it's a slow poke. Oh, you got a full art trainer.
- 4:12You got a full art trainer, Timmy.
- 4:16Timmy. Timmy.
- 4:17All right, let's see what you got, Matt.
- 4:18In a hollow slope. Here we go.
- 4:19Here we go. I mean, he's Josh's Kim, yeah.
- 4:22Yeah, yeah, go. Ahead Gang.
- 4:23Let's go thug boom. OK, OK.
- 4:30There's so many cards on the floor.
- 4:32I'm so sorry. I don't know why I did that.
- 4:35Mad rude. Oh, is it a little hollow in
- 4:39here? Oh, oh, it's a little hollow.
- 4:50You said what? Is it, what is it?
- 4:54No, that's not anything. That's cool though.
- 4:56That's a little little Sylvion. Let me see, Let me see.
- 5:00I got a Sylvion, what's your game?
- 5:02Isn't that what Evie evolves into?
- 5:05Yes, evolves from Evie. I don't know.
- 5:08I remember whenever I played the Pokémon games, I always loved,
- 5:11like, it was like, collect a certain stone and then you'd
- 5:14give that to Evie. I guess you'd like, make her eat
- 5:16the stove. Whatever you want.
- 5:17Eat this rock. Yeah.
- 5:18Do you, dog? Yeah.
- 5:19How did the Pokémon feel about eating?
- 5:20Rocks or did they just did he just get like pressed against
- 5:23it? No.
- 5:24I'm pretty sure they had to eat it.
- 5:25Right, like Evie's like like Evie is probably the size of
- 5:29like a rabbit. I always thought right, and then
- 5:31they're like eat this Rock You dog.
- 5:34And then she became flurry on. Or whatever.
- 5:36My brother and I always thought it was funny that the way
- 5:39Pokémon talk is just by saying their name over and over.
- 5:42Like it got me or Squirtle. Squirtle.
- 5:45Yeah, that's just and and and we're supposed to understand
- 5:48what you're saying. You're just saying your name.
- 5:50Well, I think it's like Groot because you know how Groot is
- 5:53like I am Groot. And then which they do really
- 5:55cool and made me cry whenever I saw Guardians of the Galaxy
- 5:58Volume 3 at the end, whenever he's like, I love you guys.
- 6:02It's because all of us are now a part of his family and we can
- 6:05understand him. So that's actually mad beautiful
- 6:09and artistic. Sure.
- 6:12Excuse me. Sure.
- 6:15You guys want? We could choose, sure.
- 6:16You know, that actually makes sense that you wouldn't
- 6:18appreciate the art of a real film like Guardians.
- 6:21I thought you were saying it was.
- 6:22No, no, no, Don't mess up my transition.
- 6:24Don't don't mess up my transition.
- 6:25Right, right. But.
- 6:27It makes sense that you don't understand the artistic value of
- 6:30a film like Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 because you are
- 6:34a fan of films like. Like what, Ben Interstellar?
- 6:39Yeah. Wait, you mean the greatest film
- 6:41of all time? No, I'm talking about
- 6:43interstellar. See, this is where the this is
- 6:44where the wires are getting crossed.
- 6:45Huh. Interstellar's fantastic.
- 6:49OK. Interstellar's literally the
- 6:50greatest film that's ever been created.
- 6:51Interstellar is a film full, I don't know about that problems
- 6:54and issues before the podcast. Have there any problems with
- 6:57Interstellar? You know what?
- 6:58You know what? Can I actually be honest?
- 6:59Yeah, go ahead. Can we just be real for a
- 7:00second? Sure.
- 7:01I've actually come to the conclusion.
- 7:02So today before the pod, I went and I watched Interstellar.
- 7:06Yeah. And I've realized the brilliance
- 7:09of it. Interstellar is a smart, deep,
- 7:16poignant film for dumb people. And here's the thing.
- 7:20Here's the thing. Yeah, there is.
- 7:22You gotta have movies like that too, right?
- 7:25Right, 'cause kids have kids have their things where they're
- 7:28like, Oh my gosh, it was the best movie ever.
- 7:30And it was like the Clifford the Big Red Dog movie.
- 7:33You're gay in. OK, that's my good friend
- 7:37Matthew McConaughey. Is it?
- 7:38It's not. Lindsey Graham?
- 7:40No, he sent me a couple of post mimosas.
- 7:41Is that not your flamboyant elderly grandfather?
- 7:45No, that's Matthew McConaughey, because he and I are friends.
- 7:48Well, here's the thing. East Texas.
- 7:49Here's the thing. There's nothing.
- 7:51Whatever I'm I'm I'm firm in my sexuality, so I don't care if
- 7:56some old gay Texan calls me, he's gay, he's gay.
- 8:00That voice message was, can we get back to Interstellar?
- 8:04So here's the thing. Interstellar has like plot
- 8:06points, I guess, but there's they just, they just run through
- 8:11them like they, they you don't have any moment.
- 8:14There's no moment to breathe. There's no time to really
- 8:17experience the movie because everything is like go, go, go,
- 8:20go, Which is weird because I love Christopher Nolan.
- 8:24I love a lot of Christopher Nolan movies.
- 8:26There are people in this movie who have been in other
- 8:28Christopher Nolan movies that are much better.
- 8:31And typically he takes his time, But this movie, it just felt
- 8:34like he was rushing. No Russian shout out Modern
- 8:37Warfare. So here, shout out Modern
- 8:40Warfare. Yeah.
- 8:41I just. Saw your brain like, we almost
- 8:44completely derailed this whole thing and you're like, yeah,
- 8:46actually, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no.
- 8:48But here's the thing, you. That's that interstellar brain.
- 8:50Go ahead. Here's the thing, you bald, my,
- 8:57we, we, we, we can't do that. No, we're, we're doing it again.
- 9:00We're we're going to bleed it. Because you're going to be so
- 9:04mad. You've said so many things on
- 9:06this bod in the five episodes that we've done six, however
- 9:09many. You just stepped over the line.
- 9:11OK? Because this is Interstellar is
- 9:13the best movie. I want, I want everybody to
- 9:15notice something. See, I don't like my arms
- 9:16propped up. I couldn't be more relaxed.
- 9:19And you just you, Josh just legit gave me a vague threat.
- 9:23Couldn't be more relaxed. Oh, yeah.
- 9:24If I was any more relaxed, I would just have feces and
- 9:27everything. Just come.
- 9:28Here's the issue I've already projected in my mind mentally
- 9:31you as the old school locomotive coal train.
- 9:35I'm the sleek new train Silver Bullet, Yeah.
- 9:39Kissing a boy stronger. Trains with your boyfriend,
- 9:41don't. You don't have boyfriend, you do
- 9:43trains. On a boyfriend, No, no, see how
- 9:45it see how he's getting look at the trains don't reproduce.
- 9:48He said stuff. I'm chill dude.
- 9:51I'm chilling on a on a Oldsmobile.
- 9:54What's up man? Matt looks mad.
- 9:56What movie's better than Interstellar that Christopher
- 9:59that Christopher Nolan has made? What movie that Christopher
- 10:02Nolan has made is better than Interstellar?
- 10:04Inception right off the top of my head.
- 10:06OK, Inception, not Interstellar has a longer runtime than
- 10:12Inception. What are you talking about?
- 10:14It's a longer I. Clocked it.
- 10:15I clocked it. That movie came hour 20.
- 10:18What movie? Interstellar.
- 10:20Interstellar is 2 hours and 49 minutes.
- 10:25Is that like an extended version or?
- 10:26No, that's the regular. Version director's code or and
- 10:29then I'm telling you. Inception is an hour and or is
- 10:31169 minutes is interstellar and 149 minutes is Inception.
- 10:37I don't know what you guys do. I don't.
- 10:38Know if you guys are on? What are you?
- 10:41Are you, are you a child? Did you watch it like speed up
- 10:44or something with like Subway Surfers on the top 'cause you
- 10:47can't focus on a movie by I mean I.
- 10:49Play Subway Surfers, but that has nothing to do with but you
- 10:51have to have. Like mental stimulation, you
- 10:53can't watch a movie and indulge in the excellence that is
- 10:56Matthew McConaughey. Talking about speed up.
- 10:59The movie's like 2 hours long. You're saying it's an hour Max?
- 11:05Two hours and 49 minutes. Wait a minute, that might
- 11:09actually account for a lot of the.
- 11:11Oh my God. Because I was like, why?
- 11:14Why is he? Why is Matthew McConaughey
- 11:15talking like this? Murph, Murph.
- 11:18Murph, Murph, Murph. You got to do the thing, Murph.
- 11:20And I was like that. That's not what he sounds like.
- 11:22You're a dog and he's like, that's.
- 11:23What? I was like, this movie sucks,
- 11:25dude. Why is Matthew McConaughey doing
- 11:27this? I like to slip and it's like,
- 11:28dude, shit, breathe, calm down. I think I know the problem.
- 11:33He watched it in two times. Speed.
- 11:34That's what I'm saying. That's what.
- 11:36OK, maybe watch it. Maybe watch it like every other
- 11:39human. You know what, Christopher
- 11:40Nolan? You know what?
- 11:42You know what, we're gonna, here's what we're gonna do.
- 11:44Matt's gonna do. If you guys have ever seen Star
- 11:46Wars actually good movies, they do a, they do a screen wipe.
- 11:50We're gonna do a screen wipe. I'm gonna go rewatch the movie
- 11:52in regular speed and then we'll be right back.
- 11:56Oh my gosh. See, that's actually.
- 11:59That's actually 'cause. They like the Hans Zimmer score
- 12:01makes a ton of beautiful. I cried.
- 12:04Multiple times I crashed a couple of times.
- 12:06Yeah, real spell though. I I really did cry.
- 12:08I cried. I cried all the father man, it's
- 12:11so cliche. Whenever you actually are a
- 12:13parent, all the parent stuff really does 100% dude, whenever
- 12:16he's leaving and he's like, don't let me leave or no, he's
- 12:18like, don't do this before I go Murph, Murph, don't go over.
- 12:22Oh my gosh, I'm sitting there just just bawling whenever they
- 12:26get all the whenever they get all the messages after getting
- 12:30like stuck on the planet for like an extra hour, hour and a
- 12:33half, dude. And the poor, the poor black guy
- 12:38whenever they open the Dang thing.
- 12:39Also, there's there's not enough time focused on how, what's her
- 12:45name? Anne Hathaway killed that guy.
- 12:47Yeah, she. I mean, I know it was like an
- 12:49accident, but it's like, what did Matthew McConaughey tell
- 12:52you? That's the issue with people
- 12:54that work in science or physics, like astronauts.
- 12:59I don't know who else works in science, botanist, maybe
- 13:03chemical. And is they they prioritize
- 13:05science over everything else. Like a bunch of nerds.
- 13:08Anne Hathaway went full nerd. You never go full nerd.
- 13:11That's the issue. She goes full nerd.
- 13:14I've got to get the data, yes. And then Matthew McConaughey,
- 13:17because he's awesome and. Have the robot get the data.
- 13:21Literally. Can't the robot unfold and he
- 13:24does? The robot move.
- 13:25You should see how fast he was in two times Sweet.
- 13:28He's basically like a Dang Usain Bolt dude in that mug.
- 13:31See, that's a lack of just a lack of knowledge, lack of feel.
- 13:36It's in the robot. And then also, frankly, the guy,
- 13:39the bad guy from Hunger Games who's in the movie that dies,
- 13:42he, he should have gotten on the Dang ship 'cause he's like, oh,
- 13:45I gotta wait for, you know. He spent so much time going go
- 13:48get her tars, Yeah, and just watch.
- 13:50Him on you know what, actually, maybe, maybe Matthew
- 13:53Mcconaughey's character realized that and he's like, you're
- 13:55actually not that much to blame. They did not seem that torn up
- 13:58about the guy dying, more so they were torn up like, oh,
- 14:01we're losing time. We're.
- 14:02Losing time, Well, that is, you know, part of like the I guess
- 14:05it's because is it even a character downfall that like he
- 14:10is like very selfishly, like I need to get back from my family,
- 14:13but it's also the love for his family that is the.
- 14:16Cause to make him human. Yeah, that makes him human.
- 14:19And that's also what like saves everything.
- 14:20Sure. I don't think it's a.
- 14:22Downfall. I don't think it's a downfall
- 14:23either. You can't.
- 14:24Love your can you love your family too much is the question.
- 14:27Well, then you get in the classic thing of like
- 14:29legitimately, if it's like your kids, did you ever see the new
- 14:32Fantastic Four movie? Yeah, yeah, whenever she and it
- 14:35and it is like a really well done scene.
- 14:37But whenever she's out there and she's like, I wouldn't sacrifice
- 14:40my kids for the world, but I also wouldn't sacrifice the
- 14:43world for my kids. It's like, I mean, I would
- 14:46probably just take out anybody for my son.
- 14:49Objectively, would I be in the right, though?
- 14:53You know what I mean? Because at a certain point, it's
- 14:54like there's like 1000 people or your kid.
- 14:57I'm picking my kid 1000 times out of 1000.
- 15:00Yeah. Objectively, though, you know
- 15:03what I'm saying? Yeah.
- 15:04It's like, did y'all ever like here's?
- 15:06What? I'm saying Matt Damon's
- 15:07character was the hero. Whoa, I'm just kidding.
- 15:11Matt Damon did a wonderful job at just being someone who
- 15:14clearly broke. Bro, whenever he's like Matthew
- 15:16Mcconaughey's like, dying. And he's like, I'm sorry, I
- 15:18thought I could watch this, but I can't.
- 15:19But I can't. I'm right here with you.
- 15:21I'm right here with. You he's just like kind of
- 15:22torturing. I'm like, do you see him?
- 15:24Do you see the images of your son?
- 15:26Do you see your son? I.
- 15:26See your daughter Murph. Like bro, that was that was
- 15:30rough. Speaking of his son, it's
- 15:31Timothy Chalamet. Yeah, yeah, random.
- 15:35That was so random. Random Timmy Chow like exciting.
- 15:39I guess we're just used to Timmy Shelby and the guy.
- 15:42Yeah. And then it's like, hey, we need
- 15:44you to be the second favorite kid.
- 15:46Yeah. Out of two kids for Matthew.
- 15:48Mcauing not even the better yet, man, we could talk about that
- 15:51also being the not even best version of this character in the
- 15:54film. Yeah, because Casey Affleck,
- 15:56bro. Whenever Casey Affleck comes
- 15:57back from the fire and Topher Grace has the thing and he's
- 16:01like, he's like, I'm going to fight him off.
- 16:02Casey Affleck is like, I will kill everyone in this house.
- 16:05And it's like, I believe you. I believe you Casey, but no I I
- 16:09did feel bad for the son. Clearly, Dad had a favorite.
- 16:14But it's also like his daughter solved gravity.
- 16:19You. Kind of get the right hard like
- 16:22you're you're the favorite if you can do something like.
- 16:24That I saw a clip the other day. Did you know that Tom who plays
- 16:28Spider Man? Tom Holland, his dad is a stand
- 16:31up comedian. No way.
- 16:33Yeah. And he's like, and whenever
- 16:34people ask me like, do you have a favorite son?
- 16:35And he's like, well, only one is Spider Man.
- 16:37Yeah, I have a I have Spider Man for a son.
- 16:39And then the others, it's like, look, bro, at a certain point,
- 16:43let's be real. You know what I'm saying?
- 16:45You're a farmer and I hate being a farmer.
- 16:48Yeah, it is. You're.
- 16:49Just not smart. Every aspect of his, him fully
- 16:52just being like Tom, right As a son.
- 16:54Yeah, Yeah. I think so is him fully just
- 16:56being like, whatever, like you're here too Cool.
- 16:59Yeah, I'm going to speak through time and space, through the with
- 17:03the help of these fifth dimensional beings who are
- 17:06humans but just Uber advanced civilized humans, whatever to
- 17:10speak to my daughter. I'm not even going to
- 17:12acknowledge you don't care, don't care.
- 17:14I'm going to let you. I'm going to let you and your
- 17:17family potentially almost get sick and die, being farmers,
- 17:22whatever, it doesn't matter. Yeah, like Murph says something
- 17:24and Matthew McConaughey hangs on her every word like that's the
- 17:27thing or And then Tom says somebody's like.
- 17:31God, Tom, will you shut up? Shut up, Tom.
- 17:35Let me tell you something far, Yeah.
- 17:38No, I mean literally though. The best movie I've ever seen.
- 17:42Well, that's still not true for me, but it is a very good movie.
- 17:45No, I bet it's it's the best movie you've ever.
- 17:46Well, here's the thing for anybody who's watching this, who
- 17:48follows us on Instagram, this all stands because you posted a
- 17:53video talking about like, oh, if I was kidnapped or whatever, I
- 17:56you said you'd like kiss the kidnappers or something.
- 17:58And then after you did that, you would like explain to them the
- 18:01whole plot of Interstellar. And I jokingly commented, why
- 18:06not explain to them a good movie?
- 18:07And then every 15 year old white guy who follows you was like,
- 18:13are you even? Are you?
- 18:14Do you even know? What do you somebody said?
- 18:17Oh, I bet you. I bet your favorite movie is
- 18:20Fast and the Furious, huh? Or something like that.
- 18:22Isn't it? Whoa.
- 18:23That is a good. Movie there are good Fast and
- 18:25the Furious. The first few.
- 18:27Fast 5 Fast 5 is the best Fast and Furious movie.
- 18:30Yes, that's a great fun. No, Ben, what you don't know is
- 18:33this didn't even stem from that. This stemmed when you were over
- 18:38at the crib with with your family.
- 18:40We were talking about movies, my family, your family, and I
- 18:43remember saying like Interstellar is my favorite
- 18:46movie. And you were like, oh, and then
- 18:49I said, I also think Interstellar is the best movie
- 18:52of all time. And you're like, well, oh, and I
- 18:57remember your response because you were holding something back
- 19:00and you're trying to be nice because that was still like, oh,
- 19:03we're still kind of like, are we?
- 19:04Like, we just met in person for the first time a couple weeks
- 19:07ago. I don't want to yuck Josh's Yum.
- 19:09Just. Started then I still don't want
- 19:11to yuck your Yum. Just say you're.
- 19:12Yuck in my Yum right I'm. Not yuck in your Yum.
- 19:14Oh, my gosh. This yum's out.
- 19:16Matt. Matt.
- 19:16I don't call it my Yeah. Thank you, Matt.
- 19:19Oh Dang it. Technical difficulties he yucked
- 19:28into the Yum I was. Trying to focus on that Yum.
- 19:33But yeah, I mean, probably. Look, I don't want to, I'm not
- 19:36trying to be rude. I don't think you're being very,
- 19:39you know, You know, I don't think you're dumb or anything
- 19:42like. Which is a crazy no, but you do
- 19:46'cause you're like, oh, it's, it's a film for dumb people to
- 19:49make them think that they're smart or whatever you see.
- 19:50It's like Rick and Morty. No, but where people are like
- 19:54it's actually smart comedy and you're like, yeah, for sure.
- 19:57It's all fart and poop jokes. But no, I'm just kidding.
- 20:00Interstellar is. It's a smart film and it's a
- 20:03good film. I genuinely don't think it's
- 20:05Christopher Nolan's best film even.
- 20:08For me, I just enjoy, I do genuinely enjoy, like Inception,
- 20:11more Inception than Interstellar.
- 20:14Interstellar, a movie doesn't need to answer every single
- 20:18question. It just leaves a few things to
- 20:21where I'm like, what? What we were talking about it
- 20:24earlier, What, what is the year? How long has it been that
- 20:28Matthew McConaughey wakes up? What's going on with Anne
- 20:31Hathaway? What does your daughter mean?
- 20:32Where it's like, where she is. That's, that's the new Earth.
- 20:36That's the new symbolism. OK, where are we?
- 20:39Are we in space? Are we on like a thing that we
- 20:42created on Earth? I don't know.
- 20:44I don't know. Probably not the Earth one, but
- 20:46is this Halo? Where's Master Chief?
- 20:49That would actually be sick. Halo sick.
- 20:50Yeah. Christopher Nolan's one of those
- 20:52ones that's like, I'll never do a sequel, right?
- 20:55Except for the Batman movies, which thank goodness I'm not
- 20:57like a I'm not that much of, you know, because plenty of people
- 21:00whenever you don't like their favorite movie that they think
- 21:02is a smart movie, they're like, you're dumb.
- 21:04Yeah, probably like the Batman movies.
- 21:06Really. So.
- 21:06So that's exactly. So that's where we are.
- 21:08You think I'm dumb but. The Batman movies are sick.
- 21:10Every movies are cool. I would never say that to
- 21:12someone in a degrading way. Exactly, Interstellar is a good
- 21:15movie. No, but you're saying it in a
- 21:17patronizing way. Hey, little patronizing, but
- 21:20yeah, I'm just kidding. I have no idea.
- 21:22It doesn't matter. It's Patrick.
- 21:25Hey, little buddy. You're I'm a little kid and
- 21:27you're ruffling. You're, you're ruffling my hair.
- 21:30Hey, bucko, it is a it's a good film.
- 21:34Now get out of here. Go.
- 21:35Here's a, here's a dollar. Go get some bubble gum.
- 21:37That's what you're doing. Josh, you have blatantly told me
- 21:39before you're not a big movie guy.
- 21:41Yeah, right. OK.
- 21:42I mean. Yes and no.
- 21:46Like I like. Yes or no?
- 21:48Pick one. I feel like I watch more movies
- 21:50than the average person, but I don't watch near as much, well,
- 21:52the average. Person is like dying right now.
- 21:54So I don't know. Like I don't know what you mean
- 21:56by that. How's the average person dying?
- 21:58Well, in comparison to like, the whole world, how many people are
- 22:00in like abject poverty or suffering from some war?
- 22:03I don't want to get too deep with it, you know what I mean?
- 22:05Wow. Wow.
- 22:06It's kind of deep. See what that intense?
- 22:08See, you found that deep because you like Interstellar, right?
- 22:11And it was just no again, Interstellar genuinely is
- 22:15obviously a very, very good movie.
- 22:18It's a great, it's a great movie.
- 22:20So what is What is your favorite movie of all time?
- 22:22Well, and then people are so my favorite director and I, and I
- 22:25say this knowing that they aren't.
- 22:27It isn't the best film ever or it's the best films ever, but I
- 22:30love Quentin Tarantino. Sure.
- 22:32I just love his writing. I love his humor.
- 22:34I love the brutality in the films because I think it serves
- 22:36a good purpose. One of my favorite movies ever
- 22:39is probably Hateful 8. I love Inglourious Basterds.
- 22:45I also loving loving horror movies like I do.
- 22:47I love Hereditary. I love Midsummer's, a really
- 22:53good movie. Can I be honest?
- 22:55Sure. I'm afraid to watch Midsummer.
- 22:57Midsummer's fine. I think it's just.
- 22:59Screw me up. Would you guys like to see us
- 23:01watch like horror content? Josh and I were talking about
- 23:03that the other day. I feel like I would just have
- 23:05nightmares for weeks if I watch Midsummer.
- 23:07I think there's like I genuinely think that you and I should sit
- 23:10down and like not live streaming probably, but record it us
- 23:13watching like some analog horror series because some of those.
- 23:18Analog horror series. Yeah, analog horror series are
- 23:20like, typically they're, they're filmed in such a way that it's
- 23:25meant to be like kind of a retro vibe, but they're online.
- 23:28They're pretty much all like on YouTube and stuff like that.
- 23:31Yeah, it sounds kind of fun. Yeah.
- 23:33I mean, and that's how Backroom started in it.
- 23:35Backroom started from a post on 4 Chan I think, and then cane
- 23:40Pixel or no, I'm sorry, is it cane pixels?
- 23:43Whatever. The guy who directed the movie,
- 23:45he made the online series. Yeah, whenever he was like 15 or
- 23:4916 or something. Hateful 8?
- 23:51Really. I love Hateful 8.
- 23:53I don't know how many times I've seen Hateful 8.
- 23:56Just nothing happened all the. Time.
- 23:58Not the whole time, just. They're in the house, right in
- 24:01The Hateful 8. Well, I mean, they're in the
- 24:02house for a lot of it, Yeah. It's like a stage play.
- 24:05That's the whole point and it's like filmed in such a way.
- 24:08I mean there's the whole thriller, there's the whole
- 24:10mystery, who is who, who's a part of the gang, What is going
- 24:13on? I.
- 24:13Didn't watch it again. Yeah, I think I was in college
- 24:16when I watched it. But yeah, we'll come back to it.
- 24:18Sure. And bring back to it.
- 24:19Hey. Look, it's I like Interstellar.
- 24:22Interstellar is a really good movie.
- 24:23I just don't think you sitting there being like it's the best
- 24:25movie ever. It is the best movie ever.
- 24:27OK, like easily. I and Benji loves fighting and
- 24:30his amazing friends. I'm just saying the more you
- 24:34double down on it being like the best movie ever, the more I'm
- 24:36going to trash it whenever I don't even think but see.
- 24:37What you don't realize is there's an army of people who
- 24:40are also smart. Yeah, because I've got a lot
- 24:43going on up here. I I think you do.
- 24:46I want to make that clear for some people who think that I'm
- 24:48like poo pooing on Josh. Josh is smart 26 on.
- 24:52The first try 26, yeah, that's not bad.
- 24:56Out of 100 or something, but what is it?
- 24:59I don't know what the age, I don't remember what the ACP is.
- 25:01It's. Kind of like 36 or 38.
- 25:04Oh, is. That what they told you?
- 25:06Or is that like, no, I know I probably genuinely, by the way,
- 25:10I'm a dumb guy. I always say, you know, I always
- 25:12say that. I'm for the autistic kids coming
- 25:15in for his ACP score. Just tell him.
- 25:18Tell him it's out of four or. Something tell him it's one
- 25:21above what he got. Tell him he's so smart.
- 25:24He won't even look at the SO. Josh, you got nine, OK, It's out
- 25:27of 10. Oh my God.
- 25:30Oh, he smells horrible. Did it mean I get to go to
- 25:34college? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:37Have you heard of Stephen F Allston University?
- 25:47It was the admission. The process for sticking at
- 25:50Boston is you show up and they check your pulse and they're
- 25:52like, oh. It was so funny whenever we were
- 25:54talking about that one day and you were like, bro, they let
- 25:57anyone in and I was like, dude, because I didn't go to college
- 25:59again because I'm not smart, but I was like, oh dude, it's fine.
- 26:02I almost went to UTA and I'm sure they have a similar one.
- 26:05And then you looked it up. UTA was.
- 26:08Better than yesterday. But again, I don't want there to
- 26:14be this weird dynamic where it's like, oh, Ben thinks Josh is
- 26:16dumb. Josh is smart, guys.
- 26:17Look at him. Boom, smart and look at me.
- 26:22Up here. Smart also.
- 26:24We're both smart. We're both.
- 26:25Yeah. Probably the smartest pod on the
- 26:27Internet. If you like combined us, yeah,
- 26:30we would be superhuman level if we did that.
- 26:33Dragon Ball Z thing, yeah. But here's the thing.
- 26:38Here's the thing, being smart isn't the whole thing, right?
- 26:42Because you could be smart and a bad guy you got.
- 26:44To be sexy, you could, you know. Yeah, I guess that's the, I
- 26:49guess that's the number 2 is the dynamics.
- 26:51Yeah, Yeah. You got to be sexy, funny, be
- 26:55strong, huge. All right, Josh is.
- 27:01Josh is taking the reins on the curse words this episode.
- 27:04It's weird, baby. Let's game.
- 27:06Upsetting people online pretty much.
- 27:07Who doesn't know? We just, we just dropped the
- 27:10episode with the God's Not Dead and we released a clip where I
- 27:14may have said a curse word or two and for the love of God,
- 27:16people are mad. Well, it's funny because like.
- 27:19Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 27:21Allegedly. Go back and watch the episode
- 27:23Can you hear me do it? People have like, likened you
- 27:29to, to those of like CS Lewis. Like people like, like, do you
- 27:34remember the kids puffs? That kid literally said you were
- 27:39this generation's CS Lewis. Oh my.
- 27:41Gosh, I do remember that. So when you do something like
- 27:44that, everyone's like, but when I when they give me a microphone
- 27:48and I say everyone's like, OK. We have to chill out.
- 27:51Also Matt has to edit all this. Right, what's up?
- 27:54Sorry, I'm wrong guys. No, but like when you do it,
- 27:57everyone's like, oh, worldview. When I do it, they're like,
- 27:59well, it's. Like we were joking about
- 28:00literally earlier today I was, which I was, I was genuinely
- 28:04upset about like Christian persecution in Nigeria.
- 28:07And then the next post somebody sees for me as being like.
- 28:11Shut up, you stupid. Bleep and then, you know,
- 28:12whatever, stuff like that. But but yeah, again, being smart
- 28:16isn't the whole thing. There's plenty of people
- 28:17throughout history, throughout time who are smart and they were
- 28:19still like crummy blokes, right? Crummy blokes.
- 28:23Now here's the real question for those people that were bad guys
- 28:26or kind of had like a mixed reception, would there be
- 28:29anything that you could change about them, change about their
- 28:32life, change about their situation?
- 28:35We back at it good wheelchair index.
- 28:38We're good transition, yo, we trans.
- 28:41Dragon Ball Z morph yo Wheelchair Index 2 Part 2 yeah.
- 28:51Uh oh hold up. I listened to all right love
- 28:55y'all goodnight baby girl, that's my wife left it in made a
- 29:03kid all right so. We're living that in.
- 29:07Type B Bro Members only, Members only.
- 29:12Speaking of members only, we got a few members today, guys.
- 29:15I just want to appreciate them, you know?
- 29:17Yeah, because they to the reason why we're here.
- 29:19Yes, thank you guys so much for shout out our members, dude, our
- 29:23members are supportive. They help us be able to actually
- 29:26make the show, and they're funny and they're sexy and they're
- 29:30sexy and they're smart. And they're smart.
- 29:32And I don't want to generally they're, I don't want to like
- 29:36point out any specific ones we have.
- 29:37No, no, we have probably as a whole, yeah, we probably have
- 29:40like 4 female members. And I don't want them to be
- 29:42uncomfortable. Yeah.
- 29:43But as a whole, nobody individually.
- 29:46In the most asexual way possible.
- 29:48Like, like a God's Not Dead movie.
- 29:49Yep. Smart, funny, all of you sexy.
- 29:53Got to think of a different. But then it feels weird to be
- 29:56like they're attractive. Yeah, that.
- 29:58Feels weird. Strong.
- 30:00Strong members. Discerning members?
- 30:03Yes, discerning members. Computer make them all gay
- 30:08anyway. But going back to yeah, what
- 30:13were we talking about? We were talking about the
- 30:14wheelchair index. Wheelchair index format with the
- 30:17editing. Part 2, not Part 2.
- 30:20It's two. It's like a movie.
- 30:21Wheelchair index. Let me have this.
- 30:24Josh overrides all of my creative decisions.
- 30:28I'm sorry because you're crying and it's emotional dude, you're
- 30:33so manipulative. I'm thinking about me.
- 30:35Now you son of a guy, all right. Anyway, it was pretty.
- 30:39So you want to go bar for, bar person for?
- 30:40Person, let's go ahead. You go first.
- 30:43So and just to for everyone that remembers Wheelchair Index, it's
- 30:47kind of like, hey, would this person being in a wheelchair
- 30:52make me think differently about them?
- 30:54Right in the. Positive right in a positive way
- 30:56was the. Last time we talked about like
- 30:58people who like, oh, is. This too much chest.
- 31:01Not enough. Not enough.
- 31:02Yeah, actually. Well, we'll see.
- 31:04Like last time we talked about people who it was like, if they
- 31:07were in a wheelchair, would we think of them differently or
- 31:09they just that crappy of a person to wear?
- 31:12So the first person I wanted to throw out was OJ.
- 31:14Simpson No, no, I just don't think so.
- 31:18Nip that in the bud real quick. Well, here's Here was the weird
- 31:20thing about OJ. Everybody knows he did it.
- 31:23Yeah. He quite literally essentially
- 31:26told us he did it right. He wrote that book, which in a
- 31:29beautiful turn of events, he didn't get a dime for.
- 31:31And then he actually went to prison for stealing his own
- 31:33merch. Then he died.
- 31:35And, well, but then he that was the thing.
- 31:37He comes out of prison and then he's kind of a celebrity and
- 31:41he's out like golfing. He's doing cameos.
- 31:44Hey, kind of got to just like with it, yeah, kind of got to
- 31:47come out and just have like a regular, OK life.
- 31:50And then he died. Is it weird?
- 31:53Would we have the Kardashians today if we, like OJ Simpson
- 31:56didn't do all that? No.
- 31:58Like that was literally how Rob Kardashian got money.
- 32:01Well, that's how he got a lot of his notoriety for sure.
- 32:04So no, for sure if if OJ. Wow, look at all the stuff that
- 32:08OJ has caused. Butterfly effect Dude.
- 32:10What would Kanye be like right now if OJ Simpson didn't murder
- 32:13his wife and her boyfriend? Normal.
- 32:16Just a guy. Just a guy.
- 32:18What do you what do you have made graduation?
- 32:21Are are the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and the white guy
- 32:27graduation anyway not to get down that path?
- 32:30No, OJ would not be helped by the wheelchair index.
- 32:33He still fails 100%. Here's somebody that you
- 32:35actually told me the other day that you have some not great
- 32:38feelings for Ronald Reagan. Yeah.
- 32:41Does Reagan pass the wheelchair index now?
- 32:44As you know, I am politically restarted.
- 32:47I don't know much about. I know a lot of people don't
- 32:49like Reagan typically, which makes sense for you because
- 32:51you're a raging liberal. Typically it's more people on
- 32:54the left. But I've heard, you know, people
- 32:56on the right or center, people who don't like Reagan for a lot
- 32:59of his policies. So can somebody be so bad policy
- 33:03wise that even if they were put crippled in a wheelchair, you'd
- 33:08still be like, I don't like this person?
- 33:10Have we ever had a president in a wheelchair?
- 33:12Yeah, we had FDR during World War Two.
- 33:16He served. Yeah, he served three term.
- 33:18Died in office, right? No, FDR didn't do three term.
- 33:22Teddy Roosevelt did 3 terms. Teddy.
- 33:25No. Well, Teddy, wasn't Teddy
- 33:26Roosevelt the one the glasses who was like a hunter?
- 33:29And. Not at the museum.
- 33:30Yes, I was gonna say that was Robin Williams.
- 33:32No, I know, but he he didn't do 3 terms the 1:00 during World
- 33:35War Two he did. During he was During World War,
- 33:37he was he. Was the Rough Riders?
- 33:39No, but that's a different one. Rough Rider.
- 33:40Look it up. I'm telling you.
- 33:43Ted Theodore or Franklin? Uh oh, and who's the one?
- 33:52And remember, who liked Interstellar?
- 33:55And who knew who did it? Was it Teddy or Franklin?
- 33:59Maybe a little bit of. Both.
- 34:01A little bit of both. There was FDR. Expose over to
- 34:04here. Still maybe our.
- 34:04Current Maybe our current president might serve 3 terms.
- 34:08No. But anyway, yes, we had one in a
- 34:10wheelchair. OK.
- 34:11And he, he balled out OK. Yeah, he did good.
- 34:13I mean. The thing with Reagan, I'm going
- 34:15to, I'm going to nerd out for a second, please.
- 34:18I I know nothing about his like, like maybe what would the word
- 34:23be like civil policies, like or, or social policies?
- 34:26Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just know that he's the reason
- 34:28that, like, pensions don't exist anymore.
- 34:30Oh, OK. Yeah.
- 34:32Like he he allowed companies to like, do stock buybacks.
- 34:34I guess it's almost something where like because because it
- 34:39isn't a personal. I'm sure there are people who
- 34:41dislike him personally, but because it isn't a personal
- 34:43thing with him or a thing he physically did, you can still he
- 34:48could be in a wheelchair and you could still dislike him just as
- 34:51much because it's still he. Also seems like a really cool
- 34:54guy. He well, but the.
- 34:56Videos that I see of. Old.
- 34:57Mad chill, super chill like the balloon popped behind him when
- 35:00he was doing that speech at one time, but it sounded like a
- 35:02gunshot and he. Said kind of thug to get shot
- 35:04and like keep going pretty cool you know what I mean?
- 35:07Have you ever seen that one video of the guy who like rushed
- 35:09him on stage? No, he was pretty chill The guy
- 35:11just gets tackled immediately. It's it's incredible.
- 35:15But yeah, so I mean, but that's the thing.
- 35:17Like him being in a wheelchair, Does that help the people again
- 35:20who already dislike him? No, no, for sure.
- 35:24Not. Well, there we go.
- 35:26I guess he didn't pass. Damn we got 2 fails already.
- 35:29OK, I've got a guy for you then. And this is interesting because
- 35:34I feel like. With, you know something's
- 35:37interesting because somebody tells you it is.
- 35:39Let me tell you something. This is interesting.
- 35:40Yeah. And I know this because I'm
- 35:42telling you that. It's this was a good podcast and
- 35:44you should become a member today over on joshandthegiant.com.
- 35:47Interesting, Interesting computer.
- 35:49Make them think it's interesting.
- 35:51Computer undo the gay thing, but make them think it's
- 35:53interesting. Interesting.
- 35:55Go ahead. So like whenever Mulan dropped
- 35:59and they they like made Genghis Khan, they kind of nerfed them a
- 36:01little. Bit.
- 36:03Genghis Khan, yeah, You know, definitely not a good person,
- 36:10no. But didn't they say he killed so
- 36:12many people, that he affected the carbon like footprint?
- 36:15Yeah. And he, he.
- 36:17Had so he was. He was his times, Thanos.
- 36:20Type honestly, he also impregnated so many women that I
- 36:23think it's like what, one in every yeah 300 people can
- 36:27somehow find a trace he. Was laying pipe for sure.
- 36:29Yeah, I mean, good for him, you know.
- 36:31Well, it probably wasn't. Yeah, it probably wasn't great,
- 36:34but go ahead. But the wheelchair, it would
- 36:36just make you kind of be like, he's still a terrible person,
- 36:41but how did he do all that in a wheelchair?
- 36:44Wow, that's OK. That's an interesting way to
- 36:45take the wheelchair index. So is the way that we're
- 36:47supposed to be doing the wheelchair index, is that we
- 36:50retroactively they're in the wheelchair the whole time?
- 36:52Yeah, because I think somewhat well that I think, OK, I think
- 36:57then somebody like Genghis Khan. Because he's like.
- 36:59If he all of a sudden is in a chair, he'd probably just die.
- 37:02Yeah. So then he wouldn't be able to
- 37:04do all of his stuff? Probably no.
- 37:05But I'm saying we can't change the past.
- 37:07So he still has all of his accomplishments.
- 37:09He has wheelchair bangs, all these ladies.
- 37:12So then you're like. But he's in a wheelchair.
- 37:14Or a horse maybe? OK, well then I, if I'm being
- 37:17honest, and probably just because I'm a guy kind of just
- 37:19makes him sick, I'll be like. Bravo, like you.
- 37:22Literally still terrible. Dude.
- 37:24Yeah, horrible human, yeah, but wow, he did all that without
- 37:27legs. So no, I, well, no, actually,
- 37:30yes. Right, because if it makes him
- 37:32cooler, he's passed the wheelchair index.
- 37:35I guess in game is. Gone.
- 37:37So Reagan fails. We need to keep a chart.
- 37:40Yeah, Ronald Reagan fails. Who did I say?
- 37:46Freaking no, I said OJ. Yeah.
- 37:48OJ. Reagan fails.
- 37:49Genghis Khan passes the wheelchair index.
- 37:51Absolutely. Actually kind of makes sense.
- 37:53All right, I'm. Going to make a graphic.
- 37:54My next one in a similar, actually in a very similar vein
- 37:57of OJ Simpson, Jeffrey Dahmer. Now here's the thing, though,
- 38:02because now if we're going with this, this idea that they're,
- 38:06they retroactively did all the things they did in a chair.
- 38:09Yeah, Feel like we really need to nail down what the wheelchair
- 38:13index is. Now we just keep it real fluid.
- 38:16It's. Our thing, We can do it
- 38:18everywhere. We love it.
- 38:19That's great. WNBA we can do.
- 38:21Whatever I think there are a lot yeah whatever just put the put
- 38:24the goals or whatever they are because I don't know sports
- 38:27because I'm. Put women out there.
- 38:28Yeah, exactly. I make the ball bigger.
- 38:29Make it so sports. Are for like the interstellar
- 38:31people, right? So you just put the goal
- 38:33whatever you put in like face height?
- 38:36No, but like. Can I ask you a question?
- 38:37Go ahead, you seem like the kind of guy.
- 38:39This is so off topic please. You seem like the kind of guy.
- 38:42Do you remember the battle bots that used to be on Spike TV?
- 38:45Oh yeah. You seem like the kind of guy
- 38:46that would just hell yeah I'll watch battle.
- 38:48Bots. I didn't watch it a lot, but it
- 38:50is sick. I would have.
- 38:51I should have. You know what I did watch a lot
- 38:53of? Did you ever see Deadliest
- 38:54Warrior on History? Oh my gosh, that's so sick.
- 39:00That is so sick. Yeah, when they would do like a
- 39:02ninja versus a Green Beret. Well, I think, I think one of
- 39:05the classic ones was like, or like a samurai and a Viking.
- 39:08And you're like, Yup, show me. Oh, is that what an axe does to
- 39:11a dummy? And then I'm watching it like,
- 39:12yeah. Yeah, you look like you belong
- 39:14on the set of like a Mythbusters.
- 39:16I'm. I'm throwing slight shade
- 39:17because of the interstellar thing.
- 39:18It really feels like you're trying to hammer home that I
- 39:21look like a nerd. Yeah, sure.
- 39:23I mean, I'll take that. Sure.
- 39:23I'm a nerd. OK.
- 39:25Yeah, Yeah. This is just.
- 39:26You think I care? Again?
- 39:27Look at how, bro. OK, we're all lay down in this
- 39:30mug. I do not get.
- 39:31No, I'm even fake. Yours is fake.
- 39:34I'm. So why do you only own the
- 39:35shortest of shorts? Hey, everybody, go watch his.
- 39:40What was what was it you did with those people?
- 39:44Go watch his. Yes.
- 39:45Go look up Josh Benson. 24 hours.
- 39:49So I went, I, I did a, a thing with Paul and Morgan, who most
- 39:53of you aren't familiar with and they're, they're Christian, the
- 39:56creator couple who I made fun of a good bid on TikTok in the
- 40:00early days. And so randomly they're like,
- 40:02hey, we're doing a series where we link up with people that we
- 40:06disagree with, blah, blah, blah. And so they, they come out to
- 40:08Texas. Anyway, it was, it was fun
- 40:11hanging out with them. A couple of things.
- 40:14There were some edits that I was like.
- 40:15I don't know. How do I feel about this?
- 40:17But the one thing that you couldn't edit out was my pasty
- 40:21crotch dude in every shot. Let me let me say two things
- 40:24very quickly. They were clearly setting it up
- 40:27because also Josh, admittedly at the time was more left than he
- 40:31probably is now. But they were really trying to
- 40:34promote it as if like we're going out to talk to this
- 40:36leftist, liberal, whatever, which if you're that, God bless
- 40:39you, but Josh isn't. And they were really trying to
- 40:42make this dichotomy of like, here is this classical
- 40:45conservative couple and then this guy who's this and we're
- 40:48going to debate him on this side or the other.
- 40:50And as somebody who watched the video in its entirety, it felt a
- 40:54lot like not to talk about this whole thing, but just like you
- 40:57were trying to actually talk. And Paul and Morgan had talking
- 41:00points also. Can I?
- 41:01Take a victory lap real quick on that because there was a point
- 41:03in the video that a lot of people were upset about and it
- 41:06was. We can edit this out if we don't
- 41:08need. To no, it's great.
- 41:10There was a part where people. Come here for us.
- 41:11You're right, we can actually do whatever.
- 41:13We can say whatever we want. Poop, pee, pee.
- 41:27So there was a, there was a part in the, the video where we were
- 41:29filming where this is where I got the most flag from people
- 41:32who are Republican. And it's, it's about abortion.
- 41:36And I basically made the statement of like, I don't think
- 41:39my vote, like when you look at it historically, like, you know,
- 41:44raids across different political parties and who's president.
- 41:46I don't think my vote between at the time Trump and Biden, really
- 41:49whatever. I want to take my victory lap
- 41:51now because isn't Trump still funding like abortion clinics?
- 41:55Well, and I think a lot of people have pointed out
- 41:57abortions have gone up again like they were they were on a
- 42:00decline. And then whenever Trump got back
- 42:03in office, I'm fairly certain since then they've gone up.
- 42:07Again, which I I want to be clear, anti abortion, you know
- 42:10for sure. Yeah, same.
- 42:11But just victory lap of hey, putting this 80 year old in
- 42:15office instead of that 80 year old doesn't matter.
- 42:18Well, also you pointed out a thing that was just true, which
- 42:22is that in that graph over time, regardless of who was president,
- 42:26abortions were going down, they were going to.
- 42:28And then I mean, somebody could look up the graph right now and
- 42:30maybe we're wrong. Maybe they've just continued to
- 42:32go down, which God, I hope so. But I think there has been a bit
- 42:35of a bit of an uptick since in. Trouble and we can stop talking
- 42:40politics after this. 100%. The best part?
- 42:42Paul and Morgan flying out. Us talking about it now, I don't
- 42:46know anything. I don't know anything, I'm not
- 42:48the expert. I also you don't have to be with
- 42:50them. I have no beef with them.
- 42:52I've seen some things I didn't love but God bless them.
- 42:56You know what and seems how we're supposed to be on a
- 42:58certain topic. You brought up Trump and Biden
- 43:01both of them if they Urdu guy whatever that is from Dragon
- 43:05Ball. If they Urdu guy Trump.
- 43:08And Biden does that. Being pass the wheelchair index,
- 43:13Donald Biden. Oh, oh man.
- 43:18Just burp. Oh, OK, yeah.
- 43:23I think it. Think that he passes.
- 43:25I think so. I'm going to go because they're
- 43:27so. Biden.
- 43:28They're so in the. Middle Donald Biden if they do
- 43:29the Did you watch Dragon Ball? Joseph Trump.
- 43:32I've never watched him. Me neither, but they do this
- 43:34thing when they have the earrings and they put it in if
- 43:36they did that. And they combined, Yeah, yeah,
- 43:38they combine their powers into the ultimate centrist.
- 43:41They would pass because and. They were, you're saying, and
- 43:43they were in a wheelchair. Yes, yeah, yeah, but but do they
- 43:47pass the wheelchair? And yeah, they're.
- 43:49They're hilarious in and of, that's true.
- 43:51That's. True, they both make me laugh.
- 43:54Just who they are. Fun facts most people don't know
- 43:57this about me. My son Eli was conceived on the
- 44:01night of the Donald Trump in Joe Biden debate.
- 44:04Before Joe Biden dropped out. My wife and I, we watched the
- 44:08debate and don't. Look at him.
- 44:11Yeah, Matt, don't look at him. So Next up on my true story.
- 44:15Next up on my wheelchair index, anyway.
- 44:18Like you guys don't know the night that your children were
- 44:20conceived there probably something happened.
- 44:22I actually, I think I know to the to the day to.
- 44:25I do too. Yeah.
- 44:26Yeah, Actually, I don't. I don't want to get too morbid
- 44:28with mine, but actually, I don't even talk about it.
- 44:31It's fine. That's cool.
- 44:32That's fine. It killed the guy.
- 44:34Amber Heard Wheelchair Index I'm not going to lie, I.
- 44:38Know that her and Johnny Depp's whole thing, I don't know
- 44:41anything about it. I mean, I would say I don't want
- 44:43to sound too biased from a lot of what I saw, she was
- 44:47definitely the bad guy. He wasn't a good guy in it
- 44:50necessarily. They both had their issues.
- 44:52They both had their problems. She definitely came out the
- 44:54worser. The worse, the worser.
- 44:57Was she abusive? Yeah, yeah, there were, but
- 45:01there was also. I don't remember all of it
- 45:03because it's been some years now.
- 45:04She also pooped in places. Well, she pooped on his pillow.
- 45:07She yeah, I think she like, didn't she cut off his finger
- 45:12like almost dead with like a glass?
- 45:14Yeah, well, that's another thing.
- 45:15Like people, I don't want to get too serious, but a lot of
- 45:18people, you drug addict piece of garbage was that Narcan?
- 45:22So you can get off your you can get off your drugs, dude.
- 45:26Dude, you're a piece of garbage. Dude.
- 45:28Why don't you pray it away? Computer conversion therapy.
- 45:33Oh no, now he's gay. So anyway.
- 45:38Yeah, no, I mean, at that point it would kind of be the question
- 45:41of like, hey, Johnny Depp, you're a grown man and you're
- 45:44letting this woman in a wheelchair.
- 45:47Wow. Beat you up.
- 45:48It's like you're. Victim blaming like a mug right
- 45:51now. But like, let's be honest.
- 45:52Yeah, at that. Point it'd be like, oh come on,
- 45:54Johnny, like, yeah, swing back. But does she?
- 45:59But does she pass the wheelchair decks?
- 46:03I'd say no. I don't think so.
- 46:04I think people just don't like her because you can suck and
- 46:07still be in a wheelchair. Doesn't make you all of a sudden
- 46:09a good person. All right, You know who I'm
- 46:11talking to. Listen here.
- 46:13You. From New York.
- 46:15What are you Andy Mineo? What is that?
- 46:18Oh, Andy Mineo comments on one video of ours and you think you
- 46:20can be him? Yeah, I'm words played.
- 46:23I don't know how to go back. Going back to Interstellar.
- 46:27You know what I had the thought of earlier?
- 46:28What up Interstellar if he where it's played, if he took off his
- 46:32glasses? Kind of reminds me of the black
- 46:34guy. He does.
- 46:35He does. Because they have a similar It's
- 46:37a great point they got a Dome on them.
- 46:40So yeah, I got another one for the wheelchair Martin Luther
- 46:43King Junior. Yeah, moving on in a similar
- 46:52vein, Candace Owens. That's a good question.
- 46:57That's a good one. Thank you.
- 46:58Because we had done Erica Kirk that first time.
- 47:01Do Erica Kirk. Now it's Candace.
- 47:05I'd say I'd say yes. I'd say no.
- 47:08I'd say yes, I I think people would respect her a lot more.
- 47:14If she just. But here's the thing, she does
- 47:16all of her stuff sitting anyway for the most part.
- 47:20Yeah, but we know it's by choice.
- 47:21Yeah, like the, the wheelchair index doesn't help.
- 47:24Uh, Governor, what's his name? Abbott, because he's still doing
- 47:28all that stuff. So we're like, we don't care,
- 47:30remember? Whenever Josh thought that he
- 47:32got crippled from a squirrel jumping on his head, Yeah.
- 47:35There could have been a squirrel in the tree A.
- 47:36Squirrel throwing a branch at it, right?
- 47:38We don't know, sorry. Abbott loves Interstellar, too.
- 47:43Dude, let me tell you something son, I love me some McConaughey.
- 47:47Play that thing again. You have the thing you want me
- 47:50to play Matthew McConaughey? Yeah.
- 47:52Matthew McConaughey, AK. Just Lindsey Graham.
- 47:55Yeah, I thought that was Lindsey Graham.
- 47:58You're gay, Ben. You know what it actually sounds
- 48:01like? Southern gay Stephen Hawking.
- 48:05Hey, Ben, it's me, Matthew McConaughey, the star from that
- 48:09movie you don't like. That's a lot more.
- 48:12That is actually a lot better. Also, that sounds like he's in
- 48:14my closet. Interstellar is a stellar movie.
- 48:19See what I did there? Word play.
- 48:21It's like another one of our languages capabilities.
- 48:27Why do all these sound like he's in like a small room and he's
- 48:29going to hurt me? All right.
- 48:30I get it, Amy. Go.
- 48:33You're the IQ surface level. You watched Interstellar with
- 48:40your eyes. You need to watch it with your
- 48:43soul. Why don't you go and hang with
- 48:45your Jewish friends and let Josh and I be intelligent with our
- 48:49super big brains? Thanks, Matthew.
- 48:51Hey. Hey.
- 48:52What the heck was that? What was Matthew McConaughey?
- 48:54What is that? So it's just going to be you and
- 48:55him hanging out alone? No.
- 48:58Yeah, but you're doing our families.
- 48:59And he'll know. Ball.
- 49:00We're going to hang out with our families in a very rich, a very
- 49:07affluent, whatever, dude. Yeah.
- 49:08Matthew McConaughey, Just go hang out with your Jewish
- 49:11friends like Matthew said. I don't have a problem with
- 49:13people based on their ethnicity, so have fun with them.
- 49:17So yeah, dude, that was the wheelchair.
- 49:19Wait, I've got one more. I've got one more wheelchair
- 49:21into because this one actually would be kind of funny.
- 49:22Wait. Hold on, Let me get my opinion
- 49:24on Candace Owens. Yeah, Yeah.
- 49:25I don't think she passes because I think, and we've talked about
- 49:29this a couple of times, I think Candace Owens, all she really
- 49:32is. I don't really think she's like
- 49:33some nut job. I think she is just a good
- 49:36business woman. Yeah, who says crazy things
- 49:38because it makes her a booty load of money and think of how
- 49:42much. More she would make she could
- 49:44pull the wheelchair card. I don't think, I don't think
- 49:46they would care. I don't think people, I think
- 49:48all the money she gets already, she would just continue to get
- 49:50again because she does all of it from a chair already.
- 49:52Interesting one more for you. Go ahead.
- 49:55Pontius Pilot. I want to say people have a
- 50:00Well, I could be wrong. I want to say especially
- 50:03historically. He killed Jesus.
- 50:05Well, but a lot of people kind of, I mean, I have a fairly
- 50:08positive view of Pontius Pilate. Pontius Pilate isn't sitting
- 50:12there like, man, I can't wait to kill this Jesus guy.
- 50:14He literally is like I find no fault in him I wash my hands of.
- 50:17This, that's what I'm saying. He just, he was soft.
- 50:18He was kind of like, I also like to think it would be kind of
- 50:22funny if he just kind of like, acted like, yeah, it.
- 50:27Was like give us. What was the guys name did they
- 50:30say? Barnabas give us Barnabas.
- 50:33Barabas. Barrabas.
- 50:35No, I was. Barnabas, somebody else?
- 50:36Yep. OK, I'll go get some bad
- 50:39Christians. Oh no. 1st The curse words with
- 50:41the curse. Words.
- 50:44Josh did drugs on the pod and. Joshua won the Battle of
- 50:47Jericho. Josh having sex with Matthew
- 50:49McConaughey and then. Ben's not even in like the name
- 50:53Ben's not even in the Bible. It is.
- 50:57It is. Whose name engine?
- 51:00What? One of Satan's buddies.
- 51:01All right, and then Satan are all like in 2000 years a movie
- 51:06named Interstellar is going to come out and we're going to
- 51:08we're going to hate on it for no reason.
- 51:09Is that is that in the Bible really?
- 51:11You have really good, like, takedowns, you know that?
- 51:14I know, dude, you're really smart.
- 51:16You're really smart. They taught me that at Stephen F
- 51:17Austin. Hey guys, so welcome to Stephen
- 51:21F Austin. Here are your condoms and your
- 51:23copy of Interstellar, and it's the best movie ever.
- 51:27And here's your diploma before you even do any classes.
- 51:31Welcome to Stephen F Austin. Make sure whenever you have sex,
- 51:35because you will have sex with one another, that you are using
- 51:39protection. If not, there is round the clock
- 51:43abortion clinics on the campus. Oh my gosh, Stephen F Austin,
- 51:47why are you playing? Why are you playing this from
- 51:49your phone? Here at Stephen F Austin, we
- 51:51hate the unborn and we love premarital sex and drugs and the
- 51:55movie Interstellar. It's not remotely what.
- 51:58What's up? It's more of like a.
- 51:59Stop that thing on your phone we hate.
- 52:02Oh OK. Thank God you stop that dude.
- 52:07Why'd you go to that school? No, they were going to say we
- 52:09hate Nick Kroll. They don't like they don't like
- 52:12Stephen Foster has a whole thing you, so you missed the mark a
- 52:15little bit. It's more of like a dumb
- 52:16conservative thing. Oh, I thought that's what I was
- 52:19doing. I thought I was doing that
- 52:20pretty well. Dumb conservatives don't like
- 52:22abortion clinics. Well, but if they're really
- 52:24dumb, they do. So they're like so dumb that
- 52:28they just flip. It's the.
- 52:29Idea. Yeah, it's like a clock.
- 52:32OK, I thought it was like the horseshoe thing, but man, what a
- 52:36great episode. Dude.
- 52:37We talked about Interstellar, we talked about the wheelchair
- 52:40index. We really need, I need somebody
- 52:41in the comments, 'cause I know there are people already who
- 52:44watch the video, OK? Was that too much?
- 52:46Chill out dude. Sorry about that.
- 52:48Breathe, do your drug again, do your Narcan.
- 52:51I know we have people who have seen every episode tell us make
- 52:55a list who passes the wheelchair index, who fails on the previous
- 52:59episode and this one. So we have a regular.
- 53:01Do we do we pass the wheelchair index?
- 53:04Do we fail? Josh.
- 53:06And we can't, we can't answer because we're obviously.
- 53:09Josh, Ben, Matt, Matt, can you put your face on camera real
- 53:12quick? Does Matt pass the wheelchair
- 53:14index? Yeah.
- 53:15Don't forget, become a member at Josh and the Giant today so that
- 53:19Matt can feed his family. We're doing fine.
- 53:21We're doing good. We are multimillionaires.
- 53:24But the only way that Matt can make any money is if you become
- 53:27a member today for as low as a dollar.
- 53:28Because we're multimillionaires. But it's like not liquid like
- 53:31it's tied up in like CDs. Powder it is.
- 53:33So anyway, thank you guys so much for watching this episode
- 53:36of Josh and the Giant. We have to RIP another pack.
- 53:40I was why you got to do that? Can you not have this faith in
- 53:43me? Dude, I'm so mad.
- 53:45I'm so mad I could RIP another pack.
- 53:48Oh I'm I'm so mad I could RIP another pack.
