  You're relaxed. Sometimes you're being chased. Sometimes you're not.

  Sometimes you fly. Sometimes you die. And sometimes you fall in love again.

  What am I talking about? Well, dreams. You got it, Dr. E, and you're back with us. So guess what?

  Hot off the heels of the summer vacation. We are just rapidly getting into the

  fall and we're getting into Dr. E.

  I'm sporting our double whammy t-shirt and I didn't wear it today,

  but I will be wearing the Monday edition t-shirt.

  We got to get that to you. I am excited. Dr. E, I missed you, buddy.

  What's up? I missed you too, man. I'm sorry. You know what? I took two summer
• 1:30
  vacations and we're back though. We're going to be weekly and it's going to be amazing.

  And thanks for being, thanks for keeping half faith going, bro.

  It's like, it's like unbelievably necessary for all of us.

  It is. And I got to, I got to share a quick thing with you when we do,

  before we do this episode. So I went to the fair and I wore with,

  with pride. I wore the Monday edition t-shirt, which I'll break out next time.

  And I got stopped literally multiple times to the point where I gave away all
• 2:00
  my business cards that I had. I had a little small stack.

  I had some pens, by the way, we have Croc Nation pens. Yeah, we do.

  Half-Eat Let It Begin pens. Come on, let's go. And this means that the shirts
• 2:12
  are eye candy, just like we are.
• 2:15
  So- Damn straight. I'm telling you. So let me ask you something.

  I know I dream a lot. I do.
• 2:21
  What would you say, is your favorite dream that you can recall.
• 2:26
  If you have one, and then maybe we can quickly do a dream that you don't like.

  Well, I can tell you the one I don't like, you know, so there's a lot of things,
• 2:35
  like there's a lot of, like I had the same dream over and over again.
• 2:39
  It's where, so one of the terrible dreams is that you're, you're back in school.
• 2:44
  God knows why I'm like 67 years old. I'm back in school and I walk into class
• 2:48
  and there's a test or it's the finals week.
• 2:53
  And I find out that I, I registered for a class. I didn't know about.
• 2:57
  And there's a final exam and I never went to one class. I have no idea what the class is about.
• 3:01
  That's one, one theme. The other
• 3:04
  theme is that you could never get where you're going in a dream, right?
• 3:08
  So if you're on the way to the airport for some reason, and you should know
• 3:12
  this, like you should say, Oh, I'm in a dream because there's,
• 3:15
  there's just, everything is blocking me from getting to the airport or getting to this appointment.
• 3:22
  And it's so frustrating, right? Because like, you're trying to get to this thing
• 3:25
  and it never lets you get there. So that's the other thing.
• 3:28
  And then also getting eaten by, you know, man-eating tigers and things like
• 3:32
  that. Those are not good dreams either.
• 3:34
  Um, I get, you know, as far as the good ones, you know, they're just maybe seeing
• 3:39
  people that passed and, you know, that are not in our lives anymore or soon
• 3:44
  will be, but, you know, seeing them in, in all their glory, right.
• 3:47
  And, or better days when you were young or whatever. And, you know,
• 3:51
  so I guess that's my long, long answer to your question. You know,
• 3:54
  what's funny is that we don't talk about what we're going to record.
• 3:57
  I just hit record and I go, and then you know what we're going to do. You actually talk.
• 4:01
  Know one of my dreams. So I'm going to start with the one that I don't like.
• 4:04
  And then I'll tell you the one that we, you just basically read my mind.
• 4:07
  So minor is mine is falling. Even though I love to be Superman,
• 4:11
  I'm scared of heights and there's nothing worse than falling.
• 4:15
  And I feel like any dream that I'm on, even if I'm walking on a sidewalk somewhere,
• 4:20
  the sidewalk will break open and I fall.
• 4:22
  It doesn't matter where it is. I could be on a beach, a hole opens up and I
• 4:25
  fall. That's my bad dreams.
• 4:28
  The other one is, yes, it is being,
• 4:32
  in a very spiritual environment and I have them a lot where I'm revisited time
• 4:38
  and time again from my grandmothers or somebody that I have thought about recently
• 4:43
  or didn't know I was thinking about them internally.
• 4:46
  And I find them, you know, in my dream. And then what's really crazy,
• 4:51
  and I've never shared this with anybody before until today.
• 4:54
  And that's what made me want to talk about it because it just kind of happened to me.
• 4:58
  I'm doing a sermon right now that's going to be this Sunday,
• 5:01
  and it's about the Holy Spirit.
• 5:03
  And I've been dreaming about the Holy Spirit.
• 5:07
  Well, I was coming out of Hannaford's the other day, and there was an elderly
• 5:12
  woman who clearly was struggling putting her bags in the car.
• 5:17
  So I waited for her to put her last bag in the car and,
• 5:23
  I walked up to her and I says can I take your cart back for you because it was
• 5:27
  going to be a distant walk for her to put the cart back yeah yeah he said thank
• 5:31
  you so much nope didn't think anything of it that just wanted to do it,
• 5:35
  I got in my car and before I get my seatbelt on she's heading to me,
• 5:39
  and she says to me you You have this amazing spiritual gift of kindness.
• 5:48
  And I said, well, thank you. And she says, did you know that Jesus has the Holy Spirit in him?
• 5:55
  And the Holy Spirit, and she starts talking to me about the Holy Spirit and
• 5:59
  about things that I needed for the sermon.
• 6:03
  And then at the very end, she reaches in her pocket and gives me a bracelet,
• 6:08
  that says Jesus is the light.
• 6:10
  And those are the dreams I've been having was the light and the whole Holy Spirit.
• 6:15
  So those are the dreams that happened to me a lot.
• 6:19
  They somehow coexist. I think we call them, what do you call that when you experience
• 6:23
  something over, deja vu?
• 6:24
  Deja vu, yeah. something like that. But it is a pretty cool experience.
• 6:28
  Dreams can be fun. So let's end on this way.

  Dr. E had a dream and his dream was to help people.
• 6:35
  His dream was to change the world.
• 6:39
  And not only is he what I consider the patch atoms of this generation,
• 6:45
  he is also making a difference in the podcast world.

  And when you and I, two people like that who have two different skills,

  yet those skills can unite as one and do the same thing.

  That is no accident. So keep your hopes alive, keep your dreams alive and don't

  give up on your dreams because they can happen. Dr. E, you get the final word.

  Those people that need guidance, wisdom, and understanding, and patience because

  that's what this world needs.

  And we pray for Dr. E's patience. We pray for cancer survivors.

  We cancer thrivers. And we pray for the Holy Spirit to come into your life.
