- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, it's Amy with Intuitive Coaching with Amy Radio, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: this is your sacred space for spirituality, intuition, manifestation, and
- 0:11Speaker 1: metaphysical wisdom. So the question is, how do I know
- 0:15Speaker 1: if someone is a lesson or a lifelong partner. Well,
- 0:19Speaker 1: let's talk relationship, because I don't want to make anybody
- 0:23Speaker 1: a villain. Even as I talk to you a lot
- 0:27Speaker 1: about moving away from difficult people in situations, I never
- 0:32Speaker 1: want to villainize someone, though they might be a villain
- 0:36Speaker 1: in your story. But I don't think we can place
- 0:41Speaker 1: all the blame on the other person, right. We all
- 0:46Speaker 1: play a part in relationships, So let's look at this
- 0:50Speaker 1: question from a place of relationship. So people come in
- 0:56Speaker 1: our lives for a reason and a season or a lifetime,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and you can't really force either way. You just have
- 1:08Speaker 1: to recognize what a relationship is doing in your life
- 1:14Speaker 1: and what it's bringing to the forefront. So I would
- 1:19Speaker 1: say the difference between a lesson relationship and a lifetime
- 1:23Speaker 1: relationship is not perfection, but how it makes you feel
- 1:28Speaker 1: and how it feels. So a lesson relationship is probably
- 1:32Speaker 1: chaotic and dramatic and confusing and addictive and unstable, whereas
- 1:41Speaker 1: a healthy long term partnership feels centering and mutual and
- 1:49Speaker 1: peaceful and sustainable. And so instead of looking at a
- 1:55Speaker 1: situation and saying I'm going to ignore how I feel
- 2:00Speaker 1: on a day to day and I'm just going to
- 2:02Speaker 1: focus on is this supposed to be forever? I want
- 2:07Speaker 1: you to ask yourself, what is this relationship here to
- 2:12Speaker 1: teach me? And who who do I want to be?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Who do I want to be in this lifetime? And
- 2:20Speaker 1: is this relationship supporting that? And so know that the
- 2:28Speaker 1: right relationship will never cause you to abandon yourself, to
- 2:36Speaker 1: leave a part of yourself at the door, in the
- 2:43Speaker 1: name of being connected to another human being. Because I've
- 2:47Speaker 1: said many times on this program, there are billions of
- 2:50Speaker 1: people on this planet and you can definitely connect with
- 2:55Speaker 1: someone and have a very peaceful, loving, staple soet sustainable relationship,
- 3:02Speaker 1: and that is a choice. Sure, maybe initially we can
- 3:08Speaker 1: fall into certain relationships, but even that falling in is
- 3:13Speaker 1: an opportunity to learn, to grow and to expand into
- 3:18Speaker 1: the person we're meant to be. So my thought is,
- 3:24Speaker 1: learn the lesson, move on. I will always say that,
- 3:29Speaker 1: learn the lesson, move on, because there is there is
- 3:38Speaker 1: this life that we've been given and it's just not
- 3:41Speaker 1: where feeling shitty because you're in a relationship with a
- 3:45Speaker 1: person that's not the right fit for you and you're
- 3:48Speaker 1: not the right fit for them. I do believe that
- 3:55Speaker 1: when it comes to romantic relationship, it's supposed to be good,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and it's supposed to feel good on a day to
- 4:04Speaker 1: day And I don't think you need to cling to
- 4:11Speaker 1: somebody because you're afraid of what it means to let
- 4:15Speaker 1: it go or being temporarily alone. Because if you truly
- 4:22Speaker 1: believe that it is a calling on your life to
- 4:25Speaker 1: be in relationship, romantic relationship specifically, then that is your purpose.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You got to do that right, and you don't have
- 4:34Speaker 1: to do it in a way in which it feels bad, ever,
- 4:38Speaker 1: And so see it as an opportunity to learn to grow,
- 4:42Speaker 1: to expand, and then choose consciously what you actually want
- 4:53Speaker 1: and don't place any judgments on if a relationship ends, Oh,
- 4:58Speaker 1: this must mean I'm not good with relationships. No, it
- 5:03Speaker 1: might mean that you've got to refine your picker, which
- 5:06Speaker 1: is the way you pick people, and you might need
- 5:09Speaker 1: to shift some energy within you so you can be
- 5:11Speaker 1: more of a magnet to the relationship you want. But
- 5:18Speaker 1: that's I think that's part of the journey, and that's
- 5:20Speaker 1: a part of the fun and it's definitely the part
- 5:24Speaker 1: of the work that we would do together. So yeah,
- 5:28Speaker 1: that's my thought on that. Stop thinking about relationships are
- 5:37Speaker 1: more valuable if you're with someone for a long period
- 5:40Speaker 1: of time. No, No, it doesn't need to be like that. Listen.
