Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday, so that
- 0:17Speaker 1: means we're going to talk about Bravo and pop culture.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I'm here with my two buddies, Pat and Dylan from
- 0:22Speaker 1: Bad TV. Just missing uh miss Ruby Wren, our favorite name,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and all the podcasting. How you guys doing.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Doing great.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I'm sorry for the I'm so sorry for the pause.
- 0:36Speaker 3: We've been podcasting for a long time, so apologies about
- 0:39Speaker 3: I want to can I apologize for some things just
- 0:41Speaker 3: right up?
- 0:42Speaker 1: I mean, I just want to make sure you could
- 0:43Speaker 1: hear me because I'm using my AirPods and okay.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and Ingrid can yell, and we know that. I
- 0:50Speaker 3: want to apologize for the state of this room. It's
- 0:52Speaker 3: disgusting if you're watching on video. This is where this
- 0:55Speaker 3: is a collection of just everything in our lives since
- 0:57Speaker 3: we had a child. That's revolting. And then I also
- 1:02Speaker 3: want to apologize for Patrick's subtitle on screen, which is.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It didn't you see that until you mentioned until.
- 1:17Speaker 3: It's Patrick the bad boy of reality TV recap.
- 1:23Speaker 2: That's right, And I want to apologize for the silence
- 1:27Speaker 2: before we both said hello to MP. We've been coached
- 1:30Speaker 2: up from Reality Steve when you're doing these zooms. He
- 1:33Speaker 2: is a stickler for not talking over each other, so
- 1:36Speaker 2: we we try and follow his lead with that to
- 1:39Speaker 2: not talk over each other.
- 1:41Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fine with that.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'm fine with that. But like if I say how
- 1:46Speaker 1: are you doing? And you both stare at me like
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm an idiot?
- 1:48Speaker 3: Then well also so like also, we have three young
- 1:54Speaker 3: children between us, so when someone asked us how we're doing,
- 1:57Speaker 3: it really is like we do need to just take
- 1:59Speaker 3: a second, like I'm not sure. I think I'm okay.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, the answer is fair to Midland. You want an answer,
- 2:07Speaker 2: an honestly answer, be careful. I don't know.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Whether you're like not well bitch, not well bitch. Speaking
- 2:16Speaker 1: of not well bitch, I know you guys are covering
- 2:19Speaker 1: the Traders over there on bad TV. I have been
- 2:23Speaker 1: listening as I do. I'm a I'm a fan and
- 2:25Speaker 1: a listener, and you guys on this past episode of
- 2:31Speaker 1: Traders told a story that had nothing to do. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: can't remember what it was, Dylan, but it was something about, oh,
- 2:40Speaker 1: it was skipping rocks. It was snake charmer and the
- 2:43Speaker 1: skipping of the rocks. And you said, when you were little,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you would go out and skip rocks and then one
- 2:47Speaker 1: time you threw one at your cousin's head.
- 2:49Speaker 3: M h.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And then you said that you skipped along the top
- 2:53Speaker 1: of the rocks like a lizard.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, So I was in the car with my husband.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He was like, he has AirPods in because he was
- 3:02Speaker 1: on a conference call. I had my AirPods in because
- 3:04Speaker 1: I was listening to you guys, and I started laughing
- 3:07Speaker 1: so hard in the car. He was like putting his
- 3:10Speaker 1: hand up like I want.
- 3:11Speaker 3: To call thank you m P. That's what we yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 3: that's what we do. We we we do our best
- 3:18Speaker 3: to cover the shows, but invariably we'll just go off
- 3:22Speaker 3: on tangents. I don't know what Pat's excuse is mine
- 3:26Speaker 3: it's definitely pot and and ad D. But but yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 3: that's uh. Yes, I did throw a skipping rock at
- 3:33Speaker 3: my cousin, Wesley's head, and he was a lot bigger
- 3:36Speaker 3: than me, and I was faster than him. So that
- 3:39Speaker 3: was you know, it's nature. You know.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You know what's funny is when people like they always
- 3:43Speaker 2: like lament about the past, like, oh man, it was
- 3:45Speaker 2: so much better when we were kids before these like
- 3:48Speaker 2: screens and all that stuff. It's like, yeah, well we
- 3:50Speaker 2: didn't have screens. We had rocks and we we thrown
- 3:53Speaker 2: them at each other. Then sometimes who would connect and
- 3:57Speaker 2: then a kid would go to the hospital.
- 3:59Speaker 3: But that was better, I think. And then some of
- 4:01Speaker 3: it was.
- 4:02Speaker 2: We just hop on our bicycles and we just ride
- 4:04Speaker 2: off for the whole day, and then sometimes one of
- 4:07Speaker 2: us wouldn't come back.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I knew you were going to go to a dateline route.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I knew you were going to do that.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I will tell you that's all true. That's all true.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And I'm older than you guys, So it was very
- 4:19Speaker 1: much like get out of here and don't come back,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and then eight o'clock, where is she? I don't know,
- 4:25Speaker 1: that's true.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Fucking Charlie Manson had to ruin everything, you know.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's the one that it was him.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But MP, we love you so much for listening and
- 4:37Speaker 3: we're such massive fans of you. You're genuinely one of
- 4:40Speaker 3: the best people in podcasting.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Love I have to stop. I always think how strange
- 4:45Speaker 1: it is because I feel like Dylan maybe doesn't like
- 4:47Speaker 1: a lot of people, but he really likes me, So
- 4:48Speaker 1: I felt very.
- 4:50Speaker 3: That's what he does not like, yeah, yeah, one hundred
- 4:56Speaker 3: percent true.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, Well listen, so you got are covering
- 5:00Speaker 1: the true traitors and when this comes out on Thursday,
- 5:03Speaker 1: and new episode will come out Thursday night. Spoiler alert
- 5:07Speaker 1: coming in fast forward if you haven't listened, Yes, three
- 5:11Speaker 1: two one, here it comes. Lisa Renna got kicked off.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Thoughts she was, And yes, Traders, I I've gotten into
- 5:21Speaker 3: a lot of hot water with our fans because I
- 5:24Speaker 3: am just not good at like in the in the past,
- 5:29Speaker 3: I've just named episodes Goodbye X Player that got eliminated
- 5:33Speaker 3: before people had had time to watch it.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Right right right, so, but Traders is such a edge
- 5:44Speaker 3: of your seat kind of after the first three episodes
- 5:48Speaker 3: are done and they kind of dump it on us
- 5:51Speaker 3: every week, You're just like, I need to see the
- 5:54Speaker 3: next episode so badly. So I get I get the
- 5:57Speaker 3: spoiler sensitivity because it's it's genuinely such a good show.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Lisa was just not not up to snuff. I mean,
- 6:08Speaker 3: being a Trader is so hard. It's so hard. I
- 6:13Speaker 3: would be an awful trader, as would so many of us.
- 6:18Speaker 3: And I think she just she was not able to
- 6:22Speaker 3: do it, as so many traders aren't able to do it.
- 6:24Speaker 3: We see it all the time. It's much better to
- 6:26Speaker 3: be recruited later in the season than it is to
- 6:30Speaker 3: start off as a trader. It's so difficult to get
- 6:32Speaker 3: all the way to the end.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Rarely traders make it to the end these days, unless
- 6:37Speaker 2: they recruited later in the game. In gameplay, I have
- 6:41Speaker 2: three rules, which you probably heard MP. But if you
- 6:43Speaker 2: follow these rules, you will make it till the final four.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Well, Number one, no loyalty, There is no loyalty. You
- 6:50Speaker 2: owe no loyalty to anybody. You are here to win
- 6:53Speaker 2: the game. Some people they lose track of why they're there. Secondly,
- 6:58Speaker 2: be genuine, actually form franks that can actually help you out. Honestly,
- 7:02Speaker 2: almost saved Ron when Rob took kind of a kind
- 7:06Speaker 2: to him later in the game.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And now that's counter to rule number one, but it
- 7:10Speaker 3: is not. It doesn't nullify rule number one. It just
- 7:13Speaker 3: means rule number one is that much more important than
- 7:16Speaker 3: that much more difficult. You have to have your real
- 7:19Speaker 3: friends in the.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Back, thank you. And lastly, be a fly on the wall.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Don't be there day three and start announcing you're a
- 7:27Speaker 2: trader hunter. That is so dumb. It is so dumb
- 7:32Speaker 2: of you. So if you're a Trader, are faithful, if
- 7:34Speaker 2: you follow those three rules, you will get to like
- 7:37Speaker 2: the final four or five people after that. I can't
- 7:39Speaker 2: help you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But well, my son and his girlfriend are here because
- 7:44Speaker 1: they go to Olemes, which has been shut down for
- 7:46Speaker 1: the ice, and so they've just been Nomad's traveling around.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So I'm here in Mississippi for a funeral they came to.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They didn't know the person that passed away. They just
- 7:54Speaker 1: came because they've got nothing else to do. And they
- 7:57Speaker 1: were here and I was telling them they should watch
- 7:58Speaker 1: The Traders.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah, watched it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: They watched Love Island, so I was like, you and
- 8:03Speaker 1: they watched Survivor. I was like, so you're already a
- 8:07Speaker 1: little bit. You're doing better than I do because I
- 8:08Speaker 1: don't watch those shows. I said, you know, and you
- 8:11Speaker 1: sort of the girlfriend sort of knows about Housewives, and
- 8:15Speaker 1: they sort of know a little bit about Big Brother,
- 8:17Speaker 1: And I was trying to kind of explain to in
- 8:19Speaker 1: the premise of it is that people don't know who's
- 8:22Speaker 1: going to be there when they get there, so they
- 8:23Speaker 1: didn't they didn't get a chance to research the direnda,
- 8:27Speaker 1: you know, like Ron Blessed didn't get a chance to
- 8:29Speaker 1: research that Renda Derenda is probably gonna be very hateful
- 8:33Speaker 1: to him, very aged, and he didn't know what he
- 8:39Speaker 1: was up against with her. He probably out look at
- 8:41Speaker 1: this nice white lady but.
- 8:45Speaker 3: A drinking problem.
- 8:47Speaker 2: So the game this season, and I hadn't noticed it
- 8:51Speaker 2: until this season, is a little lopsided. So with the
- 8:55Speaker 2: last mission, last mission where they had to carry rocks up,
- 8:59Speaker 2: that was so unfair too. Yes, okay, so that didn't
- 9:03Speaker 2: make sense to me. And the other part of the
- 9:06Speaker 2: game that is unfair is anybody who's one big brother
- 9:10Speaker 2: or survivor naturally has a target on their back. They
- 9:14Speaker 2: seem to now always eliminate those people first. So I
- 9:19Speaker 2: think they have to figure out something with Traders to
- 9:24Speaker 2: kind of, I don't know, figure out a way because
- 9:26Speaker 2: it's not fair. The second you say I one big brother,
- 9:29Speaker 2: they're like, oh, well, we got to get it rid
- 9:30Speaker 2: of that person, you know.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, the the Well, what I would say to anybody
- 9:35Speaker 3: who hasn't watched Traders yet, like well, one like, I
- 9:38Speaker 3: don't know, good on your willpower because the social impressions
- 9:42Speaker 3: and just like I mean, Gabby Wendy's season last season
- 9:44Speaker 3: was so viral. It was just like, yeah, how did
- 9:48Speaker 3: you avoid it? But you don't need to know any
- 9:51Speaker 3: of these shows. Obviously, it helps to know the characters.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But I have friends that are just like volleyball player
- 10:00Speaker 3: Bros And Santa Barbara. They never watch any reality TV
- 10:03Speaker 3: that are absolutely obsessed with it because it's just that
- 10:06Speaker 3: well done a show. It's it's unbelievable. Ruby is a
- 10:11Speaker 3: massive Survivor fan, and I think that she would say like,
- 10:15Speaker 3: as of late, especially with the inclusion of Fucking Mister
- 10:18Speaker 3: Beast and Ship Traders, is is the top spot in
- 10:22Speaker 3: reality TV game shows? It's unbelievable.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with all that, and I I really
- 10:29Speaker 1: you're exactly right in that Thursday cannot come soon enough.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And it's just of how you felt when you know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: back in the day when you would watch er or
- 10:37Speaker 1: something and leave on a clip. Oh my god, I
- 10:39Speaker 1: gotta I gotta wait so the next week to see
- 10:42Speaker 1: if that person dies or you know whatever it's They
- 10:44Speaker 1: do a really good job with it. And then they
- 10:46Speaker 1: dropped the three episodes, and then they dropped the two,
- 10:48Speaker 1: which I didn't know. I was like, they won't do
- 10:52Speaker 1: it again. But that was exciting. That was exciting.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Well, we're just waiting with baited breath to see what
- 10:57Speaker 3: happens between Robin's just like, all.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Right, So I have a question for MP MP all right.
- 11:04Speaker 2: So with traders, the reason why I don't I think
- 11:07Speaker 2: they don't make it to the end is exactly what
- 11:10Speaker 2: Rob did this episode, which is he basically saw that
- 11:14Speaker 2: Lisa Rena was going down and he decided to He
- 11:18Speaker 2: really initiated picking her off. I mean, yes, in my
- 11:22Speaker 2: he's made every single move that I would make as
- 11:24Speaker 2: a trader up until that point, I would have let her.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I would have let someone else take her out by
- 11:30Speaker 2: making standing out like he did. Now he's going to go.
- 11:35Speaker 2: It's going to be warfare between him and the other trader, Candae.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And I think if he gets eliminated now you can
- 11:41Speaker 2: draw a line directly to that specific move and why
- 11:45Speaker 2: he got taken out. What are your thoughts on that.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I know everybody's like ooh. I like the way he
- 11:51Speaker 1: plays the game, and I think it's great, and I
- 11:53Speaker 1: understand that there has to be gameplay, you know, rule
- 11:55Speaker 1: number one of Patrick's rules, but I did like the
- 12:00Speaker 1: way he did it, and I think and the second
- 12:03Speaker 1: mistake obviously was Candace then voting for him as a throwaway,
- 12:08Speaker 1: because now it's going to make everybody think the three
- 12:11Speaker 1: of them were traders, you know. But they're gonna have
- 12:14Speaker 1: to recruit. So what are your predictions on recruit what
- 12:17Speaker 1: they're gonna because they're not gonna be able to agree.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I don't think that they will do this, But I
- 12:24Speaker 3: just want to see Derinda as a trader more than anything.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I just I want to see it more than anything.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I think it would be a bad recruitment. Pat's very
- 12:35Speaker 3: keen on on Kristen because she's you know, it goes
- 12:42Speaker 3: to this, like Rob was playing a really good game
- 12:45Speaker 3: and I don't think that he's dead to rights or anything,
- 12:47Speaker 3: but the difference between what Rob did and what Candace
- 12:51Speaker 3: did at Rob it's a good gameplay. If a trader
- 12:54Speaker 3: is going down and really going down, get on board
- 12:58Speaker 3: because you don't want to be seen as zagging away from.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The only person that's sticking up for them, and that happens.
- 13:05Speaker 3: But you can't whip votes. You have to be a
- 13:09Speaker 3: cabinet member. You can't lead the cabinet. So he started
- 13:13Speaker 3: to get a little bit too, you know, Pilot PD
- 13:18Speaker 3: towards the end of that episode. But yeah, I think
- 13:21Speaker 3: that's the only way they can kind of stave off
- 13:25Speaker 3: the mutually assured destruction between the two of them is
- 13:28Speaker 3: bring someone else in clean just tabula rossa. Let's calm
- 13:33Speaker 3: down and let's move forward. But Candace is playing such
- 13:37Speaker 3: an emotional game, and she's so pissed about this Lisa
- 13:40Speaker 3: thing that I don't know. I think, I honestly think
- 13:44Speaker 3: there's a world where Candace takes Rob down as good
- 13:47Speaker 3: as he's been playing. Candace is you do not want
- 13:50Speaker 3: to fuck with her?
- 13:51Speaker 1: She can She could start going around saying Lisa rennand
- 13:54Speaker 1: told me he was a trader, you know what I mean?
- 13:57Speaker 1: She could say anything thing. Well, I like to look
- 14:02Speaker 1: at his pretty face. I'm enjoying this hotness.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Did you hear he's dating Moura.
- 14:11Speaker 1: No, I did not hear that.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeahs the sex robot.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Well only because yeah, I was going to ask you
- 14:17Speaker 4: why she looks like in the future when they designed on,
- 14:22Speaker 4: because her face sometimes it does when it doesn't move,
- 14:25Speaker 4: she looks like a plastic doll.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I mean she's perfect looking. Yes, Sorry, I'm a misogynist pig.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I apologize.
- 14:31Speaker 3: So no, he loves women, not.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Right, so so, uh, this is what I think might
- 14:39Speaker 2: happen if Rob is going to make a move here.
- 14:41Speaker 2: And Candace did put her neck on the chopping block
- 14:44Speaker 2: by going so hard to defend Lisa, which I appreciated
- 14:48Speaker 2: because she she tried to save her, which we don't
- 14:51Speaker 2: see very often. Normally, the pylon just happens and it's like, well,
- 14:54Speaker 2: the ship's going down, let it go down. But she
- 14:57Speaker 2: went so far to defend her, and she as a
- 15:00Speaker 2: trader that now Rob can use that against her to
- 15:03Speaker 2: start whipping votes to get her out next.
- 15:05Speaker 3: If that, don't, let Coulton do it. Let Ulton take
- 15:08Speaker 3: care of that. Don't whip anymore.
- 15:10Speaker 2: So if he does do that, then I guess in
- 15:13Speaker 2: trader's gameplay, he will be given the option to pick
- 15:16Speaker 2: another trader. If he's smart and these all fall in line,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I would pick Kristen as a trader. Now she may
- 15:24Speaker 2: stab him in the back, but that would be I'd
- 15:27Speaker 2: say they would make it to the end.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Who do you think, MP, what are your candidates?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Well, I need to ask you guys. Two roundtables back. Okay,
- 15:36Speaker 1: not this last episode, but the roundtable war. Was Coulton
- 15:40Speaker 1: doing cocaine and Durite's bathroom. Why what was he was
- 15:46Speaker 1: so geeked out of his mind? I was like, did
- 15:49Speaker 1: he triple up on his adderall? Like what that's what
- 15:52Speaker 1: it is.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I think it's just ten milligrams too much.
- 15:57Speaker 1: He was just so at that roundtable.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Like, let me think of Colton mp is he is?
- 16:04Speaker 3: He is just like ill.
- 16:08Speaker 2: El I think he was feeling himself empty, just like
- 16:11Speaker 2: when he like really satisfied and like just like when
- 16:14Speaker 2: he glued that tracker on the back of Cassie's car,
- 16:17Speaker 2: just like to feel like accomplished, you know, like I did.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It felt like a man.
- 16:20Speaker 2: He found a man.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so funny. My wife always says that he
- 16:25Speaker 3: his muse was clearly like one of his mom's fabulous
- 16:29Speaker 3: waspy friends, like Miss Karen or something, and he's just
- 16:32Speaker 3: completely dressing like like that person. But he's Yeah, he's
- 16:38Speaker 3: a bit of a sick puppy. But I also kind
- 16:41Speaker 3: of love his gameplay. He's going to get eliminated, but
- 16:45Speaker 3: I love I love the way he's playing. It's so
- 16:48Speaker 3: fun to watch, so grateful.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I think I think Natalie's next, don't you. She's sloppy
- 16:55Speaker 1: that whole thing with the winds. She picked up the
- 16:57Speaker 1: thing with the dagger. I was like when she was
- 17:01Speaker 1: so like, I go, oh, well, she's fucking with him,
- 17:06Speaker 1: and she you know what I mean, I thought she's
- 17:08Speaker 1: she was actually that awkward. I was like, this is
- 17:15Speaker 1: supposed to be the game player of all time, keep
- 17:18Speaker 1: a straight face.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I think that, Like, it seems like the stench lingers
- 17:24Speaker 3: a little bit longer than on Survivor, Like on seasons
- 17:27Speaker 3: as a Survivor, I've seen people dead to rights make
- 17:30Speaker 3: it through an elimination and it can completely turn around
- 17:35Speaker 3: the other way with this. I was pretty convinced that
- 17:39Speaker 3: Ron Funches was going to be okay after you. I
- 17:43Speaker 3: was like, it's going to get off him. But it
- 17:46Speaker 3: just that there's some of the worst players on this show.
- 17:51Speaker 3: People are genuinely horrible at this game. Like every year
- 17:56Speaker 3: we get people that are so bad but you you listen,
- 18:00Speaker 3: so we call them dumb clues. But people pick up
- 18:03Speaker 3: on these things that are just like, what are you
- 18:06Speaker 3: doing going with this Porsche vote over and over and
- 18:09Speaker 3: over again. It's crazy.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Oh my god, I would be thrilled if they bring
- 18:14Speaker 1: Porsche back like they did Jorinda Jeremy, like, you give
- 18:17Speaker 1: her another chance. I would be thrilled if they had
- 18:20Speaker 1: to pick another Trader and it was again kat Kate
- 18:23Speaker 1: Chastain in a like a meat locker. That'd be funny.
- 18:26Speaker 3: She was so good she made a fail take at
- 18:30Speaker 3: the end.
- 18:30Speaker 2: But yeah, so do you think MP that there's do
- 18:34Speaker 2: you think in future seasons of Traders when people use
- 18:37Speaker 2: the wrong pronouns like saying, you know, when I killed
- 18:40Speaker 2: him last night or I meant when we banished, Like,
- 18:43Speaker 2: do you think that is going to be a clue
- 18:45Speaker 2: that is no longer usable to eliminate something?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah? I do, because I think now so many people
- 18:51Speaker 1: have done it that very obviously their meaning we the show,
- 18:57Speaker 1: we as a cast, like we have gotten rid of this,
- 19:00Speaker 1: you know, they don't mean I in the tower got
- 19:03Speaker 1: rid of them. So I think now it's either everybody's
- 19:07Speaker 1: going to be so careful with their words, you know
- 19:10Speaker 1: what I mean, people that watch the seasons before, Like
- 19:12Speaker 1: now if you go, if they do the dinner thing again,
- 19:15Speaker 1: everybody's going to be like just standing in the corner.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Don't touch me, don't look at me, don't feed me anything,
- 19:19Speaker 1: don't hand me anything, don't you know I don't. And
- 19:22Speaker 1: also that thing with Lisa and the brooch, she did
- 19:27Speaker 1: kind of overact about it, like, ah, you know, I
- 19:30Speaker 1: think she could have easily gone up to any of
- 19:32Speaker 1: the women and then like, can you believe that costume
- 19:35Speaker 1: gave this to me? Like I think it's real, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: feel it. Do you think it's real? She could have
- 19:39Speaker 1: easily done four hundred other things and had lots of
- 19:43Speaker 1: the women touch it to see if it was like
- 19:44Speaker 1: a real ruby and then like just the first person
- 19:47Speaker 1: would have gone.
- 19:48Speaker 3: And Path brought it up last episode, and it's just
- 19:52Speaker 3: such a good point, Like the reason why Jam Jam
- 19:55Speaker 3: knew it was Lisa wasn't any one specific thing. It
- 19:58Speaker 3: was the energy like he thought it was the kiss.
- 20:01Speaker 3: It was that she was so I don't know. Lisa,
- 20:06Speaker 3: Rob and Candace told her, there's heat on you. You
- 20:08Speaker 3: got to step it up, and she just went way
- 20:11Speaker 3: too far to the other side, like volunteering for that.
- 20:14Speaker 3: So gun Ho being like I'll handle it on my own.
- 20:18Speaker 3: You're not good enough at this game to do that,
- 20:21Speaker 3: and quickly got found out.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I want to also say that I don't know if
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yam went to like acting school, but that performance he
- 20:29Speaker 2: gave when they were pulling him out of that room.
- 20:32Speaker 2: That's better than anything I've seen Brad Pitt do on
- 20:34Speaker 2: screen in ten years. Like it was hard. It was
- 20:37Speaker 2: almost like he was being.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Like, can you can you mute Patrick? Can you mute Patrick?
- 20:44Speaker 2: I'm just saying I believed he was going to die.
- 20:48Speaker 3: F one was so good.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Oh I didn't see F one shocker, But no, I
- 20:57Speaker 1: I it was hilarious. He was like, she did it.
- 21:00Speaker 1: They're like dragging the mouth, these guy's in the mask,
- 21:02Speaker 1: and you're like, oh my god, they're actually gonna kill him.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Dylan, what did it sound like, Dylan?
- 21:06Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 21:07Speaker 1: No, you're gonna say something terrible.
- 21:10Speaker 2: No no, no, he does it. He nails it.
- 21:12Speaker 1: No, No, let's let's talk about Karen from Potomac's interview.
- 21:22Speaker 3: No, what happened?
- 21:23Speaker 1: Oh, Karen from Potomac. You know she got out of
- 21:27Speaker 1: jail and yeah, here's something I really really want you
- 21:31Speaker 1: guys to notice is her brand new face. So okay,
- 21:38Speaker 1: so she gets out of prison and then they do
- 21:40Speaker 1: this here one week later and it's a brand new face.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Now you can get botox and it can settle in
- 21:47Speaker 1: about a week. But she got that nose job before
- 21:50Speaker 1: she went to prison. And I have been I have
- 21:52Speaker 1: been texting with like heather Y'donald Casey, Brandy, Julie. I'm like,
- 21:56Speaker 1: back me up. And because when they showed this bit
- 22:00Speaker 1: of her coming out with the braids and the dow
- 22:03Speaker 1: rag and she comes out in like a blazer, she
- 22:06Speaker 1: gets in the car, she waves to her fans, thank you,
- 22:08Speaker 1: thank you the whole time, I'm like new nos who
- 22:11Speaker 1: this It's a completely different nose when she came out
- 22:14Speaker 1: of the prison. So she got that nose job before
- 22:17Speaker 1: she went in to give it time to settle.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Totally agree. And she looked she looked gorgeous during that
- 22:24Speaker 2: interview with Andy.
- 22:25Speaker 1: By the way, she looked gorgeous, like a thirty year
- 22:28Speaker 1: old woman, like she hadn't used alcohol for forty years.
- 22:34Speaker 2: She might even look better.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah, she looks incredible. She looks really incredible. But there's yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 3: so it's just a little bit of a challenge though,
- 22:43Speaker 3: because when she got pulled over by the police, was
- 22:47Speaker 3: she not like if I remember correctly, wasn't she making
- 22:50Speaker 3: allusions to like the Founding Fathers or something like that.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I mean, she had completely lost her mind.
- 22:55Speaker 1: She said she was Thomas Jefferson's cond Okay, I think she.
- 23:02Speaker 3: So.
- 23:03Speaker 1: They showed her Dylan on this interview. They showed her
- 23:06Speaker 1: on a laptop. They showed her clips from that last
- 23:09Speaker 1: reunion when they talked about Karen not being there and stuff,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and Ashley bringing up the fact that she said twice
- 23:17Speaker 1: with the police, somebody else is in the car and
- 23:19Speaker 1: you hear Ray going, oh they were, and she goes,
- 23:22Speaker 1: yeah they left, and She's like, oh, Ashleys so messy
- 23:25Speaker 1: for that. She knows there was nobody else in the car.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I was like, okay, and all the stuff, but the
- 23:31Speaker 1: way she did it. Dylan talking about her addiction, she
- 23:37Speaker 1: fully admitted she had a pill addiction and that she
- 23:40Speaker 1: abused alcohol. But the night that she the recent the
- 23:45Speaker 1: recent arrest, because there were others that night the video
- 23:49Speaker 1: that you saw. She said alcohol had not called to
- 23:52Speaker 1: me that night. Alcohol had not called me, and Andy goes,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I think it did call you Green Green, Karen, where
- 24:01Speaker 1: are you? And she said, no, it was pills and
- 24:06Speaker 1: I had had a couple of drinks. She danced around
- 24:09Speaker 1: the fact. At one point she called herself an alcoholic.
- 24:12Speaker 1: At the end, she said she suffers from alcoholism. In
- 24:15Speaker 1: the middle. She said she absolutely does not call herself
- 24:18Speaker 1: an alcoholic. She calls herself a person in perpetual recovery,
- 24:22Speaker 1: and she enjoys narcotics anonymous better than alcoholics anonymous because
- 24:25Speaker 1: she's not an alcoholics alcoholism, Dylan pat is that right?
- 24:31Speaker 2: It was just it was all over the map. It
- 24:33Speaker 2: was very confusing, and you know, to talk about your
- 24:38Speaker 2: friend Heather McDonald Juicy Scoop. She had a guest on
- 24:41Speaker 2: who is always fantastic, but him and I I think
- 24:44Speaker 2: we watched a different interview with Karen because he said,
- 24:47Speaker 2: like she owned it all. I forget who the guest was.
- 24:50Speaker 2: He's great, but was it Zach? Yeah? And I'm like,
- 24:53Speaker 2: what the hell is it? She didn't own it all?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Like she was all over the map. What I caught
- 24:59Speaker 2: and I took away from it was it seemed like
- 25:01Speaker 2: a like she was stuck with some sort of pride
- 25:04Speaker 2: where she didn't want to admit to alcohol. And what
- 25:07Speaker 2: I took from is, eventually I think she wants to
- 25:10Speaker 2: drink on camera again. So that's what you got, Okay, Yeah,
- 25:14Speaker 2: So I don't think she wants to be stuck with
- 25:17Speaker 2: that stigma of saying I'm a full blown alcoholic. That's
- 25:20Speaker 2: what you're light.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I'll kill you. I'll kill you.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And then she said I'm a full blown alcoholic. But
- 25:29Speaker 1: then she was like, I could have a drink on
- 25:31Speaker 1: a If it's an ultimate girl strip, then it's fine.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Well, by the way, MP One thing that I really
- 25:37Speaker 2: missed about the one on ones. Andy used to do
- 25:40Speaker 2: a lot more one on ones back in the day,
- 25:42Speaker 2: whether it be with Jeff Lewis, who I think is
- 25:44Speaker 2: a complete dick now, but Andy used to sit down
- 25:47Speaker 2: with him after a season of flipping out and like
- 25:50Speaker 2: get really like good questions. And now with these reunions,
- 25:53Speaker 2: there's so much crosstalk. You're sometimes you're like you're pulling
- 25:56Speaker 2: your hair out, Like Andy, keep going down that road?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Why are you come back if you never get to
- 26:02Speaker 2: the end of like the satisfying answers with kier and
- 26:05Speaker 2: I felt like he at least dug in a little
- 26:07Speaker 2: bit more. And not to get off topic, but if
- 26:10Speaker 2: Mary Cosby thinks she's going to get another season on
- 26:13Speaker 2: Salt Lake, Andy, don't you dare unless you do a
- 26:17Speaker 2: one on one sit down with her, which I doubt
- 26:19Speaker 2: she would ever sit down for one on one with Andy,
- 26:22Speaker 2: but I want that one on one with Mary Cosby.
- 26:24Speaker 2: You explain yourself and what that documentary about? That documentary?
- 26:29Speaker 3: Yeah, can I ask is there a franchise that's not
- 26:32Speaker 3: directly linked to prison? So like Love after lock Up?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Obviously there are more criminals, but like, is there a
- 26:38Speaker 3: reality television show with more criminality than the Housewives franchise?
- 26:42Speaker 3: I mean.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Flavor of Love?
- 26:47Speaker 3: Well that okay, yeah, I guess that's petty crime. Uh well,
- 26:51Speaker 3: I mean what do they get? Like okay, but we've
- 26:55Speaker 3: got Mary Cosby, like Lisa Barlow's got to be caught
- 26:59Speaker 3: up some kind of fraudulent thing.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Like we think that's got to be coming.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Don't you think it has to be coming? It has
- 27:07Speaker 3: to be coming down the pike? Jen Shaw, Teresa get Each.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I mean, these women do serious time. It's like kind
- 27:13Speaker 3: of crazy.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I think it's coming for Jerie too. I do. There's
- 27:17Speaker 1: no way I know how much the things that she
- 27:20Speaker 1: owns cost. And people have said she is buying these
- 27:23Speaker 1: things at the Chanel store. She's not going to the
- 27:26Speaker 1: real real and waiting for it to be forty percent
- 27:28Speaker 1: off like regular people. I mean, so if you walk
- 27:30Speaker 1: into a Chanel store and you buy a six thousand
- 27:34Speaker 1: dollars handbag, you've got stupid money. And I don't know
- 27:38Speaker 1: how she has it.
- 27:39Speaker 2: You know, the you know, the the financials of the
- 27:43Speaker 2: Housewives has always been perplexing to me because you'll hear that,
- 27:47Speaker 2: you know, Andy used to pay someone like Vicki Gundleson
- 27:50Speaker 2: a half a million dollars for a season, and then
- 27:53Speaker 2: you hear they're cutting back and you know, as they
- 27:56Speaker 2: would later on, they'd be like, well they'll pay for
- 27:59Speaker 2: person scenes or Vicky was overpaid and that's why she
- 28:03Speaker 2: was fired because that was a bad standard to set.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So someone like do Reed, I mean, I assume she
- 28:09Speaker 2: has you see her doing commercials and whatnot, Like what
- 28:13Speaker 2: how much does she pull down to support that lifestyle?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Because enough and a half million dollars a year.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but somebody like Sutton actually has that money because
- 28:25Speaker 1: we know she gets six hundred thousand dollars a month
- 28:27Speaker 1: right right in additionally getting paid from this show, in
- 28:30Speaker 1: addition to commercials and appearance fees and all that. So
- 28:34Speaker 1: she has the money. Jennifer Tilly has Simpsons money. She
- 28:38Speaker 1: has that money. Kyle has that money, but Durit does
- 28:42Speaker 1: not have that money. And that's Amanda Prances. I don't
- 28:44Speaker 1: know what the actual fuck I don't know.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Oh and and jen on oc It's like, what is
- 28:50Speaker 3: going what is happening?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Okay, By the way, she's such this is what I love.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I think she's realizing her how her fiance's name is Ryan,
- 29:02Speaker 2: Ryan Ryan.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Okay, that was so many Ryan's.
- 29:05Speaker 2: That wedding is never happening because you know, I heard
- 29:09Speaker 2: he applied for a job on what's that that job
- 29:13Speaker 2: site that you go indeed, yeah, and he put his
- 29:15Speaker 2: he said, embezzling money on his resume and he had
- 29:19Speaker 2: no takers. Really money laundering. Yeah, and like I guess
- 29:23Speaker 2: that's not something you can openly look for a job.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Yeah. No, he applied for a producing gig with us,
- 29:27Speaker 3: and we saw that his his CV was pretty much
- 29:30Speaker 3: just money laundering. We were like, this isn't gonna work.
- 29:32Speaker 3: You don't have any experience at all.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Right, and that whole he was connected to that famous
- 29:36Speaker 1: baseball player. That didn't impress you. Even though he was
- 29:39Speaker 1: stealing his money, that was not well, he was.
- 29:41Speaker 3: No, it's impressive show Atani and his orbit. It's like
- 29:45Speaker 3: everything about it is impressive. So I'm impressed.
- 29:47Speaker 2: By, so he was clearly living off the fumes of
- 29:50Speaker 2: that money. But it runs out at some point and
- 29:53Speaker 2: then like you're unemployable, Like what do you do after this?
- 29:57Speaker 2: Do you go get your real estate license?
- 29:59Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, you go get a real estate list.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I guess what does she do? Does she? She's a
- 30:04Speaker 1: yoga teacher?
- 30:04Speaker 3: Is that trying? She's a yoga taker with one hundred
- 30:07Speaker 3: and fifty thousand dollars in back rent to the yoga studio.
- 30:11Speaker 3: But you wanted to bring.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Up them, by the way, both of them, with those two,
- 30:15Speaker 1: and then you look at freaking Gina. Gina's killing it, Yeah,
- 30:19Speaker 1: yelling it compared to.
- 30:21Speaker 3: That selling it? Yeah, killing it.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I know we're all over the place here because I
- 30:25Speaker 2: love Sooxs Starry. Sorry sorry, I'm all right. So a
- 30:28Speaker 2: couple things, ion't forget which one of you brought up?
- 30:30Speaker 2: Bill You's had said basically like the housewives are always
- 30:33Speaker 2: kind of connected to some kind of crimes. It really
- 30:35Speaker 2: does speak to casting. Not only is it like criminal activity,
- 30:40Speaker 2: but with regard to like pill popping and alcoholism. With
- 30:45Speaker 2: Karen think about this. A lot of those women, especially
- 30:49Speaker 2: we saw it with Salt Lake City. There was a
- 30:52Speaker 2: like footage shown during the reunion where basically the entire
- 30:56Speaker 2: cast of Salt Lake City was trading pills on an aeroplane.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Some of them were sleeping pills, but and they're all
- 31:02Speaker 2: just lonny. It was like, yeah, I know, but it's like, guys,
- 31:07Speaker 2: that's dangerous.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Like yeah, when you have a lot of money and
- 31:11Speaker 3: you're you're in you.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Know, you're listen who amongst us?
- 31:15Speaker 3: Well, you're popping pills. You know, that's just that's just
- 31:18Speaker 3: what housewives do. I think it's fun. I don't want
- 31:20Speaker 3: it to go away. But MP, you got it. We're
- 31:23Speaker 3: we're railroading you. You got to tell us, you take
- 31:25Speaker 3: the guide us.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Here's what I want to talk to you guys about it.
- 31:30Speaker 1: And you're going to be very excited about this development. No,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm not so much. Started watching Summerhouse and I'm not
- 31:36Speaker 1: going to so I don't want to hear about it. Okay,
- 31:38Speaker 1: don't don't discuss Summerhouse with me. I don't give a ship.
- 31:41Speaker 1: We don't care either, Okay, good, thank you? What is
- 31:46Speaker 1: with people so mad at me? If I say I
- 31:48Speaker 1: don't watch Summer House, you like, what's wrong with you?
- 31:50Speaker 1: You're going to run I'm like, I don't have to
- 31:53Speaker 1: watch every show. I'm not watching it.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Well, Dylan gets out of me, m P. Because I
- 31:58Speaker 2: always say, very much like Einfeld, Summerhouse is a show
- 32:01Speaker 2: about nothing.
- 32:04Speaker 1: That's right. And also I just think I'm they're too
- 32:07Speaker 1: young for me to get it. Do you know what
- 32:09Speaker 1: I mean? Like I don't get the Giggly Squad because
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm too old. I don't get it.
- 32:15Speaker 3: You don't say anything. Don't say anything about the Giggly Squad.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Pat they're they're like swifties.
- 32:19Speaker 2: But no, I was going to tell MP, I think
- 32:21Speaker 2: you're like in high school. They would have been freshman
- 32:23Speaker 2: when you're a senior like Kyle is probably six years
- 32:26Speaker 2: younger than you or something. The drunken leprechaun. By the way,
- 32:30Speaker 2: who would have seen some divorce coming? Fake TV couple,
- 32:34Speaker 2: I said last season, I said, because we were talking
- 32:36Speaker 2: about I kept going there, what married couple. I know
- 32:40Speaker 2: you've never seen an MP, but this is what happened.
- 32:42Speaker 2: They come stay at the Summerhouse, Amanda Batulo and Kyle
- 32:45Speaker 2: They've been married for like six years. Who would allow
- 32:48Speaker 2: their husband to go out till four in the morning
- 32:50Speaker 2: every single night and come home and lay in the
- 32:52Speaker 2: bed with them and never say anything that is a fake,
- 32:55Speaker 2: phony TV marriage. And then our co host Ruby would
- 32:58Speaker 2: go like, well, what do you think Pat? I said,
- 33:00Speaker 2: their divorce will happen the second their contract doesn't get renewed,
- 33:03Speaker 2: and boom. Last season of Summer House, they announced divorce. Yep,
- 33:07Speaker 2: fake TV couple.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Okay, but the good news I was gonna say that
- 33:13Speaker 1: was the bad news. The good news is I'm watching
- 33:16Speaker 1: the new below Deck. Oh and I know that's your jam?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Whoa loow deck is your jam? So and I gotta
- 33:24Speaker 1: say the the marketing with Salt Lake City worked because
- 33:30Speaker 1: now I'm gonna watch this show now, I will say
- 33:34Speaker 1: when I was at Bravocon, I was at Amy Phillips
- 33:36Speaker 1: Cabaremy show, and Daisy was there and she came as
- 33:41Speaker 1: a thing, and Amy did like a whole bit with her,
- 33:43Speaker 1: doing her accent back to her and stuff. I wish
- 33:46Speaker 1: I would have gotten a picture with her, because now
- 33:47Speaker 1: I'm like, I love this girl. So I watched this
- 33:51Speaker 1: latest episode. We've got Daisy, Jenna, Joe gone too soon
- 33:55Speaker 1: seven minutes in by and and uh and a guy
- 34:01Speaker 1: named Mike. I can't go any further with the rest
- 34:04Speaker 1: of the guest until we talk about Mike's hair. Yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: what what the Donald Trump is happening there?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's one of the most baffling things. And
- 34:13Speaker 3: we talked about it. You know, I don't, I don't know.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I'm putting it on pause, I'm rewinding, I'm.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Looking for well really quickly, I can I just put
- 34:26Speaker 3: a foot in my mouth. I don't your listeners. We
- 34:29Speaker 3: get a little raunchy on our show. But he has
- 34:32Speaker 3: the botox and the skin treatment of a gay man.
- 34:37Speaker 3: He's just he's just a straight young man. So it's
- 34:41Speaker 3: really really confusing, and I think there's something going on
- 34:46Speaker 3: in like the club culture in England that that, like
- 34:49Speaker 3: I think everyone's just like shooting ship into their face,
- 34:54Speaker 3: Like I don't. I mean, Pat's been getting botox for
- 34:57Speaker 3: for a long time, but he didn't get botox when
- 34:59Speaker 3: he was like twenty three years old.
- 35:01Speaker 1: No, No, the car death.
- 35:03Speaker 3: And already it's so crazy. But the hair is the
- 35:06Speaker 3: most confusing thing about it.
- 35:08Speaker 1: They showed some past pictures of him where he did
- 35:10Speaker 1: look a little bit like a club kid, you're right,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and his hair was normal, and then I'm like, this
- 35:16Speaker 1: is like when one direction came out. We couldn't figure
- 35:19Speaker 1: out what was happening. When Harry styles head Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 35:21Speaker 1: he's fixed that. But I is it a comb over
- 35:25Speaker 1: from the back? Has he sprayed it up in such
- 35:29Speaker 1: a way to make a Donald Trump ness on top?
- 35:32Speaker 3: It's Turkish? I think it's Turkish in origin. They're going
- 35:35Speaker 3: over there and they're getting a lot of procedures done
- 35:37Speaker 3: and it's not all good work.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You wouldn't grow back like that.
- 35:41Speaker 3: But Pat, go ahead, what were you going to say?
- 35:43Speaker 2: Oh no, it's called the comb forward. By the way,
- 35:46Speaker 2: when they start doing it from the back, it's like
- 35:48Speaker 2: when they're losing hair in the front and they just
- 35:50Speaker 2: comb it forward. Well, I thought it was like it
- 35:53Speaker 2: was like someone had like some trimmings out of a
- 35:56Speaker 2: hair salon, went on the sidewalk and like the blow
- 35:59Speaker 2: it just started collecting stuff off the sidewalk and then
- 36:02Speaker 2: it blew itself on his head. And then maybe we'll
- 36:07Speaker 2: meet up with him pretty soon and we'll ask him
- 36:09Speaker 2: about it.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Okay, we do have a bunkie named Lindsay who is
- 36:14Speaker 1: a hair system expert, and whenever we get a lot
- 36:18Speaker 1: of like wigs and weaves and things on our shows,
- 36:20Speaker 1: that we don't understand. Lindsay will reach out and she
- 36:23Speaker 1: will take a lot of screenshots from her screen and
- 36:26Speaker 1: circle the areas and say, right here is where they
- 36:28Speaker 1: had a sewing or right here is where maybe they
- 36:31Speaker 1: had a failed transit. She so she'll break down us
- 36:34Speaker 1: and I'll let you know. On the deck Juwau, who
- 36:39Speaker 1: I'm familiar with because there was another season he was
- 36:42Speaker 1: on that I actually watched the tool, but I'm not
- 36:47Speaker 1: going to say it right deckhand not a virgin and
- 36:52Speaker 1: Eddie now Eddie. I also he talked a lot about
- 36:56Speaker 1: his lack of body here as a child, and I
- 36:58Speaker 1: was like, why did we need to know any of this?
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah? Now, yeah, go ahead.
- 37:04Speaker 2: You're missing the best part. Chef Ben has a soux chef,
- 37:07Speaker 2: which is we've only seen that one other season because
- 37:10Speaker 2: a lot of the drama takes place in the galley,
- 37:13Speaker 2: because you essentially have well, I don't know if we
- 37:16Speaker 2: could call her a soux chef. We have someone with
- 37:17Speaker 2: a lot of passion, uh and by that I mean
- 37:20Speaker 2: someone who likes to be on television but has no
- 37:23Speaker 2: actual skill set of none. And that is really fun
- 37:27Speaker 2: because Chef Ben is an absolute dickhead with no social skills,
- 37:31Speaker 2: so he we think the countdown is like, she's probably
- 37:34Speaker 2: gonna last about three episodes.
- 37:36Speaker 1: You think I was thinking she's I was thinking she's
- 37:38Speaker 1: gonna have to be gone next episode. Because when he
- 37:41Speaker 1: was like, that's how you're going to do the salad,
- 37:43Speaker 1: that's how you're doing the eggs. How did you chop that?
- 37:45Speaker 1: It was like she didn't do one thing where he said, hey,
- 37:48Speaker 1: thanks are good or put that over there, like not one.
- 37:52Speaker 3: She volunteered to make a cheesecake and she didn't put
- 37:55Speaker 3: sugar in the in the batter.
- 37:57Speaker 1: When he said did you put sugar in it? And
- 37:59Speaker 1: she goes no. I followed the rest of me. He goes, see,
- 38:02Speaker 1: it's dessert, So never mind.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I was like, oh.
- 38:05Speaker 3: No, I'm a big In my past life, I was
- 38:12Speaker 3: very into cooking and the culinary art, so I zero
- 38:16Speaker 3: in on the cooking element of Below Deck. But for
- 38:19Speaker 3: for someone to not understand the impossibility of making a
- 38:25Speaker 3: frittata and stainless steel, it's just you can't do it.
- 38:29Speaker 3: You literally cannot do it. It's it's that. That was
- 38:33Speaker 3: the moment where he was like, uh oh, we got
- 38:35Speaker 3: a serious problem here. Because of how he's like.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Don't worry, ikes, ready to go. I was like, yeah,
- 38:40Speaker 1: that was funny. Yeah, they're all like this Keish looks amazing.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Over there, like and poor as she's such a sweetheart,
- 38:48Speaker 3: and she's definitely feeling guilt from not pursuing her dreams.
- 38:53Speaker 3: We've always we've all had that experience where you want
- 38:56Speaker 3: to do something but you just procrastinate and then you're
- 38:59Speaker 3: wacked the things eye about it, and that's coming to
- 39:03Speaker 3: a head with one the actual, you know, reality of
- 39:07Speaker 3: the situation. You're in a professional environment. But Ben is
- 39:10Speaker 3: not a gentle partner in that regard.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Who was that chef? Who was that chef that was
- 39:19Speaker 1: on that was like the Black Opera singer? Do you
- 39:22Speaker 1: remember that chef that was one of the you know
- 39:25Speaker 1: I only watched.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 1: He was a gay guy and he was amazing and
- 39:31Speaker 1: he like sang opera. He would have been very nice
- 39:34Speaker 1: to Alicia. Chef is not going to be nice to her.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I can't remember his name. He was great.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I can't remember that one. Well, Dyll's trying to figure
- 39:41Speaker 2: that out out.
- 39:41Speaker 1: And Sandy, Sandy was the captain.
- 39:45Speaker 2: We skipped a couple of her seasons. We kind of
- 39:47Speaker 2: started later.
- 39:48Speaker 3: It was it was it was new he had a
- 39:50Speaker 3: he had an.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Odd name, and he got mad because like they woke
- 39:55Speaker 1: him up in the middle of the night to make
- 39:57Speaker 1: some real cheese and he's you don't wake up the
- 40:00Speaker 1: chef to ask me to make you a girl cheese
- 40:03Speaker 1: or or am I conflating the two?
- 40:05Speaker 3: I could be what is this?
- 40:08Speaker 1: Because Sandy was like, you've got one more chance. Remember
- 40:10Speaker 1: he searched somebody something with peanuts in it. Someone was
- 40:14Speaker 1: like severely allergic.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Oh well, boy, that's a lot of chefs. They had
- 40:17Speaker 2: a chef that a guy one of the charter guests
- 40:20Speaker 2: had said I don't want onions in anything, and the
- 40:24Speaker 2: chef just would not stop.
- 40:26Speaker 3: John Oh, I think it's John.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Oh you guys, Emmy what I was gonna say? One
- 40:32Speaker 2: last So sometimes casting on this show, maybe it's all
- 40:36Speaker 2: casting in general for reality TV. They set someone up
- 40:38Speaker 2: to fail. Alicia is that person this season. Okay, she's
- 40:42Speaker 2: there for our laughter and entertainment.
- 40:45Speaker 1: It's pretty quick. Now. My next question is to be
- 40:49Speaker 1: a stew, of which we have Daisy, Jenna, Joe, ri
- 40:52Speaker 1: Ip and Mike. Is a neck tattoo required because all
- 40:57Speaker 1: the stews have no.
- 40:59Speaker 3: No usual the stews. The stews are well.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Broken childhood helps well, everyone's.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Got a broken childhood. Everyone is fast, just sprinting away
- 41:11Speaker 3: from from life problems. But usually the stews have inward turmoil.
- 41:19Speaker 3: They're they're they're extremely just wrecked people. But you see
- 41:23Speaker 3: it more slowly through conversations and stuff. The exterior, that's
- 41:30Speaker 3: where you get the neck tattoos and oh, obviously a drinker,
- 41:33Speaker 3: obviously gonna punch a cabinet, stuff like that. Yeah, it's
- 41:38Speaker 3: odd that everybody's got neck tattoos. On the interior, that's
- 41:42Speaker 3: usually a little bit more cleanly. And the show That
- 41:46Speaker 3: Hot That Chef.
- 41:47Speaker 1: That chef was on the season with the Girl that
- 41:49Speaker 1: Couldn't do laundry, because I watched that one too, Yes,
- 41:53Speaker 1: that girl that could not I was like, and then
- 41:55Speaker 1: she got like a notebook out and had a system.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I was like, literally, you put it in you flip
- 42:00Speaker 1: to the dry, or you put it in the washer,
- 42:01Speaker 1: you flip it to the dry, do this, you need
- 42:03Speaker 1: fold it and why it was this so hard?
- 42:05Speaker 2: You used the color scheme to help her figure it
- 42:08Speaker 2: wasn't breed.
- 42:08Speaker 3: I can't remember her dream that was her name? Okay, she.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I don't know why I got so triggered by her
- 42:17Speaker 3: just gross incompetence that she that she made it through
- 42:21Speaker 3: the entire season. I think I was just like, I
- 42:24Speaker 3: was fatigued by how bad she was, and we watched
- 42:27Speaker 3: it for eighteen episodes. I was just like, for the
- 42:31Speaker 3: sake of my inner sanctum, can we please get someone
- 42:35Speaker 3: on so we don't have laundry as a fucking plot
- 42:39Speaker 3: point anymore? Please God?
- 42:41Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Okay, guys. On this episode, this first episode,
- 42:45Speaker 1: they had a blow deck. They have the housewives come now.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I immediately, upon looking at this fancy island, tried to
- 42:51Speaker 1: figure out how I could get there, because that's what
- 42:53Speaker 1: I do. If something seems like overly fancy, I'm like, well,
- 42:55Speaker 1: now I feel like I need to figure out how
- 42:57Speaker 1: I can go. So I did, in fact send my
- 42:59Speaker 1: hud spend a link to the Mandarin Oriental in Canawan
- 43:04Speaker 1: and said, here's the deal. From Dullish Airport in d C.
- 43:08Speaker 1: We can get there in five hours, but then we
- 43:11Speaker 1: have to land in Barbados and take a puddle jumper.
- 43:14Speaker 1: That's an hour. Wow, So we could we could get there.
- 43:18Speaker 1: It's way faster than Salt Lake because they're on the
- 43:20Speaker 1: other side of the country. We're closer. And he was
- 43:22Speaker 1: like literally wrote me back, what TV show did you
- 43:26Speaker 1: see this on? And I said, below deck? So I
- 43:29Speaker 1: want to go there now.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I love I love you for just immediately sending that
- 43:34Speaker 3: to your husband. And you're taking a you're good with
- 43:38Speaker 3: taking a puddle jumper in a tropical region there is
- 43:43Speaker 3: We don't.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Want to lose a ferry. You could take a ferry
- 43:46Speaker 1: from Saint that. You could land at Saint Vincent's and
- 43:48Speaker 1: take a ferry, but that's a three hour faery and
- 43:52Speaker 1: that's a no. No. There are three.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Hours and there are plenty of beautiful places that you
- 43:58Speaker 3: could just get to. You don't need to take a
- 44:00Speaker 3: bus and a boat and a horse and a goat
- 44:02Speaker 3: to get you know.
- 44:03Speaker 1: It's just like, we're not going there. He's gonna say absolutely,
- 44:07Speaker 1: he's like a five hours we could be in London. No,
- 44:09Speaker 1: we're not doing that, so believe me he's not.
- 44:13Speaker 3: And by the way, we got to rebrand the Dullest airport. Okay,
- 44:16Speaker 3: not a good guy. Let's get let's get that name
- 44:19Speaker 3: off that airport. I my god, I don't know.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Anything about the Dullest airport being not named after anybody.
- 44:25Speaker 1: It's just the dullest airport. It's in dullest Virginia.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the CIA. No, it's the dude that started
- 44:33Speaker 3: the CIA. He's a bad guy. Anyways, get yes, Dallas,
- 44:39Speaker 3: Alan Dulles, look him up. He's he's one of the
- 44:42Speaker 3: most evil human beings in the history of America.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I just you, guys, I feel like I'm watching TLC.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I just learned something. Did you see on this thing?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Whether you know, Heather is every fourteen seconds standing on
- 44:57Speaker 1: the bow screaming wow. Just I can't do it because
- 45:02Speaker 1: it'll blow out the mics, but screaming like wow, like
- 45:04Speaker 1: here she could have whoa constantly, Not it's drink time,
- 45:08Speaker 1: it's here's the deck, whoa, here's the bed. She was
- 45:11Speaker 1: screaming so much, and they didn't show it that much.
- 45:13Speaker 1: On the Salt Lake City part of it, I was
- 45:15Speaker 1: like speaking to somebody doing coke in the bathroom.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was going to say the pills they're sharing.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Okay, So has the season evolved? First off, I never
- 45:24Speaker 2: liked Mary Cosby.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Uh.
- 45:26Speaker 2: We started with season five and I was told by Ruby,
- 45:30Speaker 2: Oh she's hilarious. There's some background that's a little shady,
- 45:33Speaker 2: but she's come back on before. She was a friend
- 45:36Speaker 2: of the.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Show, but she didn't watch season one.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I did not, but she our co host Ruby was
- 45:42Speaker 2: so I was watching her and she was kind of
- 45:46Speaker 2: like she didn't like she didn't want to participate in
- 45:48Speaker 2: a lot of stuff, and she wouldn't show up to
- 45:50Speaker 2: certain events. And so I didn't get the Mary Cosby thing.
- 45:55Speaker 2: And then right so season six comes in, I'm so,
- 45:59Speaker 2: I still don't get Mary Cosby anyway. So I never
- 46:02Speaker 2: liked her. And then Heather Gay this season, I was like,
- 46:04Speaker 2: you know what, she seems like kind of the voice
- 46:06Speaker 2: of reason. As the season goes on, I'm kind of like,
- 46:09Speaker 2: I don't like Heather Gay anymore. She's loud, obnoxious, and
- 46:13Speaker 2: she seems kind of conniving in a shit star. I
- 46:15Speaker 2: don't like her either.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Well, you know, if Jason, I would be much more
- 46:22Speaker 3: protective of Jason's personal life if he wasn't. I think
- 46:27Speaker 3: Jason's we love Captain Jason. He's feeling himself quite a bit.
- 46:32Speaker 3: You go, are you ready to get Yeah, you go
- 46:35Speaker 3: up to a group of women and you say, we're
- 46:36Speaker 3: gonna get you guys wet like, dude, not okay, just
- 46:42Speaker 3: the grossest fucking shut up thing.
- 46:47Speaker 2: But they're talking.
- 46:49Speaker 3: About how they messed around. They messed around and then
- 46:54Speaker 3: gaslighting everybody going, what do you what do you think
- 46:56Speaker 3: I meant by that?
- 46:57Speaker 1: I just met she said, She said, I watch what
- 46:59Speaker 1: happen was I don't know why he's denying it. And
- 47:02Speaker 1: then in the reunion she was like, well, I don't
- 47:04Speaker 1: know what you mean. But when I say fuck around
- 47:06Speaker 1: with somebody, I mean we rode bikes and got ice cream.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't know why fuck around means fuck around to you.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Get your mind out of the gutter. We're like a girl.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Somewhere along the line there was a phone call, not
- 47:21Speaker 2: a text, between the two of them saying knock it off.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, stop stop trying to use me for clout,
- 47:28Speaker 1: Heather Gay, I want to I want to talk to
- 47:32Speaker 1: you guys about this season. Also, of Beverly Hills there
- 47:35Speaker 1: in your neck of the woods.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Okay, definitely not Beverly Hills.
- 47:40Speaker 3: They're in the valley, so they really are, and and
- 47:45Speaker 3: and the Valley used to be a very very homey
- 47:48Speaker 3: place for middle class families. There was a lot of
- 47:50Speaker 3: soul and then Mauricio almost single handedly destroyed the entire
- 47:57Speaker 3: not the entire San Fernando Valley. He hasn't touched like,
- 48:00Speaker 3: he hasn't destroyed Woodland Hills quite yet, but he'll held
- 48:04Speaker 3: that that's coming, you know.
- 48:05Speaker 2: For your listeners. The valley was universally mocked by everybody
- 48:09Speaker 2: that lived in La as a dump. I mean in movies.
- 48:12Speaker 2: It was like my wife by uh, she's an executive
- 48:16Speaker 2: assistant in Beverly Hills, and one of her clients once
- 48:18Speaker 2: told her, don't ever let a guy drag you to
- 48:21Speaker 2: the valley because you'll never get out of there. Like
- 48:23Speaker 2: that was advice, because that's where all the poor Joe's live.
- 48:26Speaker 2: That's where the grips, the cameramen, the blue collar guys,
- 48:30Speaker 2: you know, and so. But now in the last ten years,
- 48:34Speaker 2: it is i mean the valley, the person valley, you know,
- 48:38Speaker 2: it's where everything is happening. It is now the jewel
- 48:41Speaker 2: of the people.
- 48:43Speaker 1: People could afford to live there, right and maybe now
- 48:46Speaker 1: it's probably you can't afford to live there.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Now now you can right now now you can't. And
- 48:51Speaker 3: what what they've done is they've they've come in and
- 48:54Speaker 3: the agency has really like and of course it's not
- 48:57Speaker 3: just the agency, but they agency fied the valley, so
- 49:03Speaker 3: it feels like Vegas all over the place. It's like
- 49:06Speaker 3: what the people over the hill liked to do. They
- 49:10Speaker 3: didn't want to go to the mom and pop shops
- 49:12Speaker 3: and the places that. Yeah, there was a stain on
- 49:14Speaker 3: the wall, but it was a Thai restaurant that had
- 49:16Speaker 3: been there for fifteen years. Yes, they want Alfred coffee
- 49:19Speaker 3: and they want imports from New York and john and
- 49:23Speaker 3: it's just it's I cannot stand with these people who
- 49:28Speaker 3: anymore are doing to the valley. It's like you thought
- 49:31Speaker 3: it was gross, Yeah, just don't go. Yes he is,
- 49:34Speaker 3: he absolutely is, but anyway, sorry, Yes, the Beverly.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Hills, Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills thoughts on there's this new
- 49:44Speaker 1: girl that they brought on now Natalie and they were
- 49:48Speaker 1: like she was married to Simon Fuller. I was like, whoa,
- 49:52Speaker 1: that's actual money to get her on the show show.
- 49:56Speaker 2: What are we doing here? People? She needs to not
- 49:59Speaker 2: be a friend of the show, she needs to be
- 50:01Speaker 2: on a main cast member. I mean, I will trade
- 50:04Speaker 2: trade Sutton out, trade Sutton out. Oh, come on, MP,
- 50:09Speaker 2: what do I have every time I look at Sudden,
- 50:13Speaker 2: I get depressed. All right, what's the name of your fans?
- 50:16Speaker 1: MP?
- 50:16Speaker 2: The Bunkies, the bunkies monkeys get in the comments and
- 50:19Speaker 2: say pass right. Suddenly is depressing. She does not belong
- 50:23Speaker 2: in Beverly Hills. She needs to go back where she
- 50:26Speaker 2: came from and have real friendships. She's trying too hard
- 50:29Speaker 2: out here. She's buying friends. She it just doesn't work
- 50:32Speaker 2: out here. She needs to go back to where she
- 50:35Speaker 2: came from and have real relationships and enjoy her life.
- 50:38Speaker 2: It is really sad to see her out here. She's
- 50:40Speaker 2: miserable and she doesn't know it.
- 50:42Speaker 1: She's lived in la for a long time. Is it
- 50:45Speaker 1: like she just came for the show. She's lived there
- 50:47Speaker 1: a long time.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Pat sometimes dips into Stephen Miller, but he only it
- 50:51Speaker 3: only goes towards rich white people, rich white women. You
- 50:55Speaker 3: need to go back from where you get back.
- 50:57Speaker 1: To where he came from. Go back South Carolina. You
- 51:01Speaker 1: don't want you are you?
- 51:04Speaker 2: Shut up?
- 51:04Speaker 1: No?
- 51:05Speaker 3: Okay?
- 51:05Speaker 2: Anyway, So come on, what is what is good about
- 51:08Speaker 2: Sutton on this show?
- 51:11Speaker 1: She's funny, she brought in Jennifer Tilly, She's got great fashions.
- 51:15Speaker 1: She's really, really, really really rich. I like it.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Natalie's richer.
- 51:21Speaker 3: I think that Sutton Sutton is going through a little
- 51:25Speaker 3: bit of PTSD, where like in seasons past, I've really
- 51:28Speaker 3: loved Sutton, and I think when Sutton is in the
- 51:32Speaker 3: background a little bit, she can have more fun because
- 51:37Speaker 3: it's not as confrontational. I feel like last season there
- 51:40Speaker 3: was a lot of Sutton at the four of the conflict,
- 51:44Speaker 3: and Sutton does a thing that is I think one
- 51:49Speaker 3: of the no no's in housewives. And there's no greater
- 51:53Speaker 3: abuser of this than Shannon Madoor. If you're going to
- 51:57Speaker 3: get into a confrontation on camera, you can't clam up
- 52:00Speaker 3: and say, we're not doing this, we're not talking about it.
- 52:03Speaker 3: We gotta we got to get into the auv of it,
- 52:08Speaker 3: all right, if we're going to talk about it. But
- 52:11Speaker 3: but yeah, I think that Natalie is going to be great.
- 52:13Speaker 3: But MP, what do you think about Amanda?
- 52:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, you guys, this woman? What's happening? Who
- 52:24Speaker 1: cast her? Who thought this was good? Who is she
- 52:27Speaker 1: even friends with? We don't even have an end of like, oh,
- 52:29Speaker 1: my good friend Amanda, we've been friends for ten years.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I can't wait for her to meet my girlfriends. Not
- 52:34Speaker 1: one person knows this girl. No no one person likes
- 52:37Speaker 1: this girl. Not one person is trying to like her
- 52:40Speaker 1: to be like, well she needs a friend. Nobody. And
- 52:43Speaker 1: when you saw Bose and Rachel Zoe and what goes
- 52:46Speaker 1: around comes around a store I have been to in
- 52:48Speaker 1: La and waited on by the same people. They didn't
- 52:53Speaker 1: quite treat me as nice as they were treating Rachel Zoe,
- 52:55Speaker 1: but they were. They were in that store and Rachel
- 52:59Speaker 1: was like, I thought she did manifestations and Bo's is
- 53:04Speaker 1: like yeah, and she goes, what do you mean she
- 53:06Speaker 1: wrote a book. She's like, she wrote a book about manifestations.
- 53:09Speaker 1: That's how you get rich. But Rachel's is like, but
- 53:12Speaker 1: what's her business? And Bo's like, this is what I'm
- 53:14Speaker 1: It was like, who's on first? So this is what
- 53:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you. There is no business.
- 53:19Speaker 3: What the this is? These are two unbelievably impressive women.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Unbelievably impressive women talking about a woman whose success is
- 53:33Speaker 3: predicated I think largely on duping idiots into some kind
- 53:38Speaker 3: of self help things.
- 53:40Speaker 2: People when they dream, you know, look, my mother in
- 53:43Speaker 2: law is always gets wrapped up in this stuff. Yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 2: oh no, we got to watch out.
- 53:49Speaker 3: But Bo's and Rachel are not They're not soft targets, right,
- 53:53Speaker 3: So they're looking at Amanda going, oh, this is this
- 53:57Speaker 3: is a problem. But you know, Pat and I had
- 54:01Speaker 3: had a tough time with the the Zion episode, which
- 54:08Speaker 3: was just so it was so difficult to talk about
- 54:12Speaker 3: because you know us as parents. I mean, it's the guys. Yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 3: it's the most horrifying thing you could possibly imagine. But
- 54:21Speaker 3: then the way that she brought it into the show
- 54:25Speaker 3: was so odd and it felt so odd that we
- 54:30Speaker 3: were just like, I don't know how to talk about this.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Well it We actually deleted the episode. We didn't release
- 54:35Speaker 2: it because we just felt nicky after it. But it was,
- 54:37Speaker 2: it was it was ugly on all fronts. Bravo, why
- 54:41Speaker 2: show that picture. That's a private moment between the parents
- 54:44Speaker 2: and just that should not be exploited for our viewing. Secondly, Amanda,
- 54:49Speaker 2: we do believe that you probably did use that as
- 54:52Speaker 2: a defensive mechanism, which is gross. That's a day you
- 54:55Speaker 2: should be spending with your family. Not that I should
- 54:56Speaker 2: be telling you how to do it, but you know
- 54:58Speaker 2: what you're showing up for when you're at dinner or
- 55:00Speaker 2: with your castmates, it's fighting time. And then to read
- 55:03Speaker 2: the fact that you're just like a pit bull in
- 55:05Speaker 2: pitbull mode, which is attack, attack, attack, and you didn't
- 55:08Speaker 2: think to yourself for one second, this is probably not
- 55:11Speaker 2: the time to argue. It was just it was just
- 55:13Speaker 2: a bad episode in my opinion. It made everybody look
- 55:17Speaker 2: horrible except for cast members, and it was hocky. I think, like,
- 55:21Speaker 2: by the way, there's one episode in below deck Lore
- 55:25Speaker 2: they removed from the Cannon. You can't find it because
- 55:28Speaker 2: it was so homophobic and bad. They took it. You
- 55:32Speaker 2: can't find it. It's been removed this episode. Shame on you, Bravo.
- 55:36Speaker 2: And uh, you know I would just remove this. It
- 55:39Speaker 2: was so great.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Well, MP, when you were talking about like who does
- 55:42Speaker 3: she know? You know she went to that dinner despite
- 55:45Speaker 3: what she was going through.
- 55:48Speaker 1: For her.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Her reasoning was I need to be with friends right now, and.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You want to, you want to, you know, you want
- 55:55Speaker 1: to make sure, like they said with Lisa Barlowe, you
- 55:56Speaker 1: never you would never miss a chance to build in
- 55:59Speaker 1: this situation. It would have been like she's not here
- 56:02Speaker 1: because she this is the anniversary of her child's death
- 56:05Speaker 1: and everybody would be like, oh my god, let me
- 56:07Speaker 1: reach out to her tomorrow and tell her I was
- 56:09Speaker 1: thinking of her, and she would have garnered so much
- 56:12Speaker 1: more empathy sympathy. We still have empathy and sympathy for
- 56:15Speaker 1: her situation, but not the way she handled it. And
- 56:18Speaker 1: then all of the women at the table are going
- 56:20Speaker 1: to look like nothing but assholes because they have I
- 56:23Speaker 1: mean Dreek notwithstanding, but the rest of them were all like,
- 56:27Speaker 1: oh my god. And then they kept they kept the
- 56:29Speaker 1: clip in twice where Kathy Hilton said, is that your dog?
- 56:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:34Speaker 1: Now, a lot we understand it's all about Kathy Hilton
- 56:38Speaker 1: and she's wacky and she says stupid things, but they
- 56:41Speaker 1: that is that was an editing choice. They could have
- 56:44Speaker 1: at least taken that out because Kathy wasn't trying to
- 56:47Speaker 1: be wacky. She literally was like who what? And they
- 56:50Speaker 1: shed taken that out because it wasn't funny and the
- 56:55Speaker 1: whole thing, and then with due Durie's only recourse would
- 56:59Speaker 1: have been like, my gosh, I'm so sorry. We're going
- 57:02Speaker 1: to talk about this another time. Rachel. I appreciate you
- 57:05Speaker 1: so much hosting this event and just switching the whole subject.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I could have kept it, knowing that to reach shut
- 57:10Speaker 1: it down.
- 57:11Speaker 2: I would have loved if to re and they wouldn't
- 57:13Speaker 2: have kept this in. I would have loved if what
- 57:14Speaker 2: had just stopped and turned to producers and go, what
- 57:16Speaker 2: the fuck are we doing here?
- 57:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 57:20Speaker 2: You know, but they don't. They're it's almost like they're trained.
- 57:24Speaker 2: And this is one of the in my opinion, one
- 57:27Speaker 2: of so they did like a an all day what
- 57:31Speaker 2: do we call it? Like they just show old episodes
- 57:33Speaker 2: of housewives on like a Saturday, and they were showing
- 57:37Speaker 2: the marathon marathon, sorry, the twenty thirteen of Real Housewives
- 57:41Speaker 2: of Beverly Hills and they weren't fighting. It was like
- 57:45Speaker 2: multiple episodes of the ladies just going out to dinner
- 57:48Speaker 2: or whatever. And it was lit, but it was like
- 57:50Speaker 2: better production and I was still pulled in and I
- 57:52Speaker 2: loved it because it wasn't It wasn't just you're going
- 57:56Speaker 2: to show up to dinner and someone is going to
- 57:58Speaker 2: have to start a fight, and I, you know, I
- 58:01Speaker 2: think they got to get out of that mode, like
- 58:03Speaker 2: you guys can just go out and have lunch and
- 58:05Speaker 2: not feel like you have to fight.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I like in Greece where Whitney kept going, look
- 58:10Speaker 1: at where we are, look at all this beautiful place
- 58:14Speaker 1: in Greece. Why are we fighting? We should be healing
- 58:17Speaker 1: the sime. You know, I liked that every time they
- 58:19Speaker 1: would start to fight, look around, we are in Greece.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Who cares about your children? And mothers say fuck those kids?
- 58:24Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I loved that. I loved it.
- 58:27Speaker 1: She kept going, take it down a notch, look where
- 58:29Speaker 1: we are.
- 58:30Speaker 2: And here's another thing that it seems like it's it's
- 58:33Speaker 2: less and less on the Real Housewives franchise. There is
- 58:36Speaker 2: less and less of seeing, all right, So a lot
- 58:39Speaker 2: of the Real Housewives have businesses. Back in the day,
- 58:43Speaker 2: you would actually go to their work environments, and you'd
- 58:46Speaker 2: spend a segment in an episode of them at their
- 58:49Speaker 2: office or whatnot, or time more time with their families.
- 58:53Speaker 2: I mean you see a little bit with Bo's and
- 58:54Speaker 2: whatnot and at Rachel Zoe's house. But there is less
- 58:57Speaker 2: and less of seeing kind of women active doing what
- 59:00Speaker 2: they do in a normal day, as opposed to now
- 59:04Speaker 2: just going shopping with one of the other cast members
- 59:06Speaker 2: and then a dinner and a lunch and then a
- 59:08Speaker 2: Vacation's that's what made me fall in love with Orange
- 59:11Speaker 2: County is going to you know, Coda Insurance at Vicky
- 59:15Speaker 2: Gun Business right then go see and then you you
- 59:18Speaker 2: would see her like going with her daughter shopping and
- 59:22Speaker 2: talking about what her daughter's up to and whatever horrible
- 59:25Speaker 2: guy she was dating. There's no more of that, and
- 59:27Speaker 2: I can I say.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Though, I do love that Deary and Amanda are like
- 59:33Speaker 3: legitimately hate each other. It's it's really fun. It's fun
- 59:37Speaker 3: for the show.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I agree. I agree, now I did. I told you guys,
- 59:41Speaker 1: I wasn't watching The Persian Valley, but I am now
- 59:44Speaker 1: jumping in and today I watched one and a half episodes.
- 59:47Speaker 1: So I am trying to, you know, just like any
- 59:49Speaker 1: new show, I got to like this one goes with
- 59:52Speaker 1: that one. That girl looks just like that girl. I'm
- 59:54Speaker 1: trying to like get it all together. But I am
- 59:57Speaker 1: so far enjoying it, and we'll be covering it in
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: future episodes here once I'm caught up, because now they're
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: like six episodes. I'm like, shit, how do I miss
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: so many episodes?
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: They are they are They are the worst representatives of
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Persian culture in this city, and the best representatives of
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Persian culture in the city. But it's it's it's so
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: odd like it went growing up in Los Angeles. There's
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: such a vibrant Persian community in the city and it
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: is really a very unique it's a very very unique
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: culture and a lot of them are are refugees that
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: came from you know, from Iran. So it's this very
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: tight knit community. There is there's some there's gaudiness, and
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: a lot of them are very very well off. But
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Persian people are they're so family oriented and these people
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: are just jack They're so awful. There's so many people there.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: They're so family oriented, and they are stress academics and
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: all of these people, like Golden Esse is just like,
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: By the way, she's got she's got bad credit.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, by the way, by credit.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I do love the casting. The only issue I have
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: is wives RESI back here. He is a horrible human being.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I mean, you remember what he did in the last
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: season of Shaws of Sunset, Like, I don't know if
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: that's redeemable for me. I mean, he wasn't like twenty
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: three when he did that. He was like going on
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: like forty eight and a half. Just gross behavior, disgusting,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: but into it. I'm into it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: It's shocks is fun.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: And what's fun for us is every place they shoot
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: is where we go.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Yeah, where you go and you can see it. I know.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I love that too. People always like, do you see
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: all that in Potomac. I'm like, when I drive out
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to Potomac, because they shoot a lot in Potomac and
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: that is even though most of them don't live in Potomac.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you guys something. If you drive
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: out to Potomac, Maryland, I go out there and I'm like,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: is that a hotel or is that a home? There
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: will be like thirty bedroom homes that look like a
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: hotel that we would go to for a special occasion.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: And You're like, it's right there on the side of
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: the road, like it is.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I'm so excited for who Island because Rhode Island.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Oh no, it starts, it takes it's actually taking the valley.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: It's it's spot. It starts in.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Mity taking the Persian Valley spot.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: No, not the Persian it's uh, it's taking the valley
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: the valley normally. Uh, it's the old vander Pump spot,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: which is it's like mid April.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, well we'll.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Have to be You saw the trailer for it, right,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, exciting.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my gosh, these people are like trashy.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: But then you would think Rhode Island they'd be fancy,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: but they seem kind of trashy. Listen Bravo, God bless
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: they can find the trashy people wherever. Yea, God bless guys.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: We are wrapping up. But tell me what else you're
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: watching besides Traders, which is your obsession?
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: I know me too, Yeah, Traders is our obsession. Unfortunately,
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: we're uh, we're covering that at Patreon, So if you're

- 1:03:33Speaker 3: that's a lot of television.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: It's a lot. It's a lot.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Bachelorette she's pregnant while filming? Who like what I like?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: That is the rumor? Is she is actually pregnant. I
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: think the producers should just go to like the cast
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: of Team Mom at this point, going you're up.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Next Farah Abrams as the bachelorette, or you come on,
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: let's do it.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Why not there's a Taylor Frankie Paul is pregnant with filming.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: I saw that. But you never know what you're reading
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: is this.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Baby with third person or fourth baby with the same
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: guy because the two kids from the first marriage. Is
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the third baby with the guy with the thing with
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the beard?
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: And then watch my horny guy. She gets pregnant. I
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: don't know she is.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: She is hot. I will give her that hot. I
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: find her attractive.

- 1:04:29Speaker 2: that sucks, that is the last time. That is the
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: last time.

- 1:04:36Speaker 2: So many times.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I'm gonna watch it like for funsies. So
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: if you guys want me to come on and talk
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: about it, don't, especially if she's pregnant.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: By the way, the overnights will be a baby shower too.
