- 0:24Speaker 1: Hey, welcome back.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It is just another football monday I got, except for this time I got miami contributor basketball expert justin with us.
- 0:39Speaker 1: We got jimmy here and uh, if want to watch, if you want to listen to our instant reaction of a dogshit team Florida.
- 0:49Speaker 2: State against.
- 0:50Speaker 1: SMU.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Go back and listen to it.
- 0:51Speaker 1: You can hear the pan, yeah, and we'll get around with some new update to that.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But I want to start back on Friday night because, because, wow, that game was insane, miami, with the 38 34 win that came down right to the end.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Justin, what was your first thought watching that game?
- 1:14Speaker 3: you were like, oh crap, right oh it was here we freaking go again, dude.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Because like, unless you watch the whole game, you know people are just like I've heard about the final, you know say maybe final 10 minutes of the game.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Really would have thought it was a back-and-forth game but in all reality Virginia Tech kind of controlled the game.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:34Speaker 3: For the majority of it man.
- 1:35Speaker 3: The Canes were down by two scores most of the game.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I mean outside of the first quarter.
- 1:42Speaker 3: We traded a couple touchdowns and after that Virginia Tech was pretty much up by 10 until the fourth quarter.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and Cam Ward finished the day 24-38, 343 yards.
- 1:55Speaker 1: He had four touchdowns, but he had two picks.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Virginia Tech was there.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And then what everyone's talking about, the Hail Mary that I don't know what the hell happened still.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Apparently somebody caught, it Did they, I mean.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I don't think anybody ever caught the ball.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Right, it was just like still fought for you know, Right?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Anyway, what's crazy fought for you know like Right.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Anyway they caught.
- 2:26Speaker 1: What's crazy is they called it a touchdown.
- 2:29Speaker 1: There was somebody who thought someone caught it because there was a ref that was adamant that he caught it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Now the letter of the law says if you don't have conclusive evidence to overturn the call, the ruling on the field stands now I don't I'm not saying I you know I don't really care, but there's no conclusive evidence of anything on that play no, no, that that's the thing.
- 3:01Speaker 3: like I was, I watching it and when they called it a touchdown I'm like, oh, we're fucked, there's no angle that showed the call on the field was the mistake.
- 3:14Speaker 2: That's what the mistake was.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Normally you don't get a guy running in from the side, judge being the one that determines the call.
- 3:24Speaker 2: They'd go to the monitor and that's what they should have done.
- 3:26Speaker 2: If they were competent officials, they would have not made a call.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You don't make a call on that and you just like hey, we're going to immediately go to.
- 3:32Speaker 1: The previous play is under review, Right.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Could have easily said that and then be like all right after we watched that we determined that nobody Got it.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Boom, we're out of here.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Maybe there's a rule that needs to be.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You don't have to have a ruling on the field.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You know, like if the ref says, hey, we're going, we're going to make a replay.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I think they can do that.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Because now, that's the one thing that kind of doesn't make sense.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's like, well, there wasn't conclusive evidence and they're like no, screw it.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Right Incomplete.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Now screw it right incomplete.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Well, what they did?
- 4:02Speaker 2: Is probably went to the monitor like there's no way that this guy should have like no way todd should have sold this that there was a touchdown there's no way he fucking saw that.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I mean no way he saw this right and and.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But that's the acc for you, right?
- 4:14Speaker 2: But anybody barking about like oh, they, they covered from miami and they, they did that miami still had to come back and he threw four touchdowns.
- 4:23Speaker 2: They're not yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And this is what's going to happen.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Man, you're going to your target's on your back.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Virginia Tech's better than the record shows.
- 4:32Speaker 1: This is a team that some people you know was sleeper picks.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I was one of those people.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So you just don't really look at them because of how bad Florida State is now.
- 4:44Speaker 3: So, like even the teams that are not doing good, they're just like flying under the radar as far as attention.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Now there's a couple of plays that aren't getting the love that they would have gotten if it weren't for that freaking Hail Mary debacle at the end of this game.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yes, tell me about the.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Restrepo butt catch.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Oh well that one was great but I was going to get to the one first where Cam was getting sacked and did the two-hand shovel pass to the tight end, who then housed it up in the sidelines to the one.
- 5:18Speaker 3: An amazing Pat Mahomes type play by Ward on that, and then the Restrepo catch man.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Like my God dude, with the whole season with the game on the line, that's what.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Dude, Restrepo's a cheat code, man yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 1: He doesn't drop the ball.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Dangerous with a gunslinger.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Pretty much pro quarterback that you have now.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, dude, I knew it.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, when he actually has a guy that's just gonna throw it, gets open every single play right, he's always open.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He's always open and he always catches it.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Dude, I mean the guy dude, somebody's gonna get a steal in the draft when they pick him in like the fourth or fifth round, because he's not gonna be a first round pick because of his measurables and whatnot.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but man he's gonna have a long NFL career, all right.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Well, so Miami survives.
- 6:08Speaker 1: They're going to Cal this week.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Game day will be there.
- 6:14Speaker 3: That still blows my mind.
- 6:15Speaker 1: There's really no good matchups and you know it's going to be a fun.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah it's you know, they want to go to that place.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I'm telling you somebody's like I want to go to Berkeley.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You think they're pissed that.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Florida State spoiled that opportunity to be two undefeated teams going against each other.
- 6:32Speaker 2: What Clemson, oh for sure Cal, and Miami, oh, cal and Miami Cal would be ranked undefeated.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, cal would have been ranked.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah, this would be a.
- 6:37Speaker 1: This would have been a good game.
- 6:41Speaker 1: They Florida State.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That's a bad loss now for Cal.
- 6:44Speaker 2: What to be a team's only win.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but Cam Ward spread the ball around.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Man, everybody's getting involved.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You have I mean Restrepo led the way with five catches, 60 yards.
- 6:59Speaker 2: but that was the leader, but you got two catches with Arroyo, 88 yards Four catches, with George 59 yards and a touchdown.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Horton had three catches 34 yards.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Williams had two catches 31 yards.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Brown had three catches 30 yards.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Lyle had a catch for 17 yards, martinez two catches 14 yards, mccormick with a catch and Johnson Jr with a catch.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That's getting everyone involved.
- 7:23Speaker 1: This reminds me a lot of last year's FSU team.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It's different, obviously, and I think the quarterback has got maybe a higher upside in the NFL game, but just the makeup of it and you got a leader and he's getting the ball around to all the different playmakers.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yeah and we still got guys coming back this week on defense.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Reuben Bain's finally going to be back this week for the Cal game.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and our defensive?
- 7:53Speaker 3: line.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yes, it is because our defensive line did not play good against Virginia tech.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Um that that quarterback drones, I mean we had nothing for him.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a game where Cam Ward needs to let his defense do some work.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Cal strength is probably their D and they lead the country in interceptions, so you don't want to really punting's okay in this game.
- 8:19Speaker 2: If you're Miami, I think it's a game that tight ends should probably get a nice workout.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Man Right Arroyo, against those linebackers is the best match.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't want any linebacker really, but just don't turn the ball over.
- 8:32Speaker 3: My new wins big yeah we got to be able to run the ball better.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's.
- 8:37Speaker 3: That's one thing I've started.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I've noticed through the only team that we really really ran the ball well against the gators well, you don't need to run it in case, unless you have to, though I mean, and you don't you haven't really had to yet we'll see.
- 8:51Speaker 1: All right, I can't do this anymore.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Let's get off.
- 8:54Speaker 3: The miami hurricanes are you got, any more you got anything else you want to talk about.
- 8:58Speaker 3: That was a crazy game well, we could talk about the uh junior varsity miami hurricanes out there in dallas with uh red lashley and coaching them up.
- 9:07Speaker 2: That was, that was, that was a that was a slide every game man like if you don't have, I mean they played a junior varsity yeah, if you don't have your crap together, they'll run you up right, and that's a team discipline against that team.
- 9:25Speaker 1: you saw a team like byu come in and push them around, but you can't.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But once your neck turns, once you give up a little bit or you quit.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They're going to house you and that's what happened.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And there was just some.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You know we'll go there later, but Georgia.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It's just falling apart fast.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I had to shout out my boy Red Lashley man.
- 9:47Speaker 3: You know I've been hyping him up for a couple years now.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Well, I had to shout out my boy right, Lashley man.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You know I've been hyping him up for a couple of years now.
- 9:52Speaker 2: That's the ACC opener and, uh, they'll move on there.
- 9:53Speaker 2: What if he gets the North Carolina job?
- 9:57Speaker 3: Oh God, I would hate that man.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I don't want to go against right Lashley every year, man.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I like him.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He's the Carolina job Because Mack Brown's done.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah God, he's bad.
- 10:14Speaker 1: As long as he doesn't keep Gene Chizik on as the DC, he'll be all right.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Another team that's really bad this year.
- 10:17Speaker 3: UNC.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they blew that one to Duke man.
- 10:19Speaker 3: They had a 20-point comeback in the fourth quarter for Duke.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Undefeated.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Speaking of coming back.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Alabama came out up 30- 7 at halftime yeah, that was like it's good, but georgia came back to 27.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Nothing run to take the lead.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Only for the next play go to the 17 year old kid right is it crazy that one of the best players in the country is 17 years old makes?
- 10:45Speaker 1: the play, or just a skill, like a talent, that not not many people can do that nobody can do that.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's like jumping up making that kit.
- 10:57Speaker 1: He made it looks too easy yeah it looked, yeah he did that little pirouette after making that catch and then just housed it up the sideline.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It was so.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It was so neat yeah, he is.
- 11:08Speaker 3: He is a freakish, freakish talent man.
- 11:11Speaker 3: He is on like a Travis Hunter level when it comes to skill.
- 11:15Speaker 3: That Ryan Williams kid man.
- 11:16Speaker 3: He is something else.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I can't think of the last freshman that I've seen that comes out in like big-time college football and is head and shoulders better than fifth year and sixth year seniors yeah alabama looks dangerous because and that's what it is with this kid man.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They can't cover him well you have you got great hands, he's fast, he's agile I mean like my god, and he's only 17.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Dude, keep him.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I mean a kid should be like worrying about prom and spring break in the recruiting fold and then to take a team that's littered with talent, physical, running past defenses in the sec like yeah, but they've really taken their game.
- 11:56Speaker 3: It really is kind of hard to comprehend what that kid can do the labore's taking his game to the next level man.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I mean he's like taking these guys that were running, he's making he's making them better pros, like right now this year, and and they're all bought in.
- 12:10Speaker 1: They look dangerous.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Georgia with the.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Hey how you doing.
- 12:14Speaker 1: No, I got you.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I got you.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You hear me, all right.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Hello, hello yeah you're there.
- 12:26Speaker 1: All right, we lost Justin.
- 12:27Speaker 1: He hung up.
- 12:28Speaker 1: He hung up.
- 12:29Speaker 1: He'll probably call right back.
- 12:31Speaker 2: He was tired of hearing you fillet Alabama.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Anyway, that was a crazy game.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it was good.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It was good man.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Ryan Williams is ridiculous.
- 12:41Speaker 2: We didn't even see Georgia score any of their points.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I don't know how they did it it, but that was a great comeback for still lost, no matter what I don't know what happened, it's okay we're rolling well, they got good players and I was just rambling about ryan williams.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The kid's a freak, he is he is a freak and what I was saying is that coach has really added wrinkles to their skill level of the players that they had and made them just really dangerous.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Because alabama, offensively, yeah, offensively.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I mean this is.
- 13:21Speaker 1: They look like night and day right, this is a running team with jaylen monroe is going to run it and maybe throw.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You know you saw the Auburn game last year.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that was Alabama's offense Run, run, run.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Millrow throws a deep ball they got the motions.
- 13:40Speaker 1: It's complex, it looks dangerous.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I mean, and Georgia, I mean, that's about as high-level competition as you can get, and to come out and punch them in the mouth, the way they did in the first half, was really, really impressive.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be worth watching the rematch, man, if it's in the they could play like three times.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I don't know who's going to beat Texas?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Have you looked at texas's schedule, they've got like two games left on the schedule, and one of them's oklahoma.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Who should die to beat in auburn right I mean, they've got they play like the the crappiest teams in the sec, auburn just like.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Has got to be gut-wrenching to be an auburn fan because they just put together these efforts where you're like, wow, they're going to beat Oklahoma or they're going to beat Alabama, and then they just blow it Right.
- 14:36Speaker 3: But you know, that's Auburn man, I'm free Every once in a while they'll pull something out of your ass, man.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Get a title with Gene Chizik, right They'll probably coach ever they could.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Never, I mean they could probably beat anybody in that conference any given saturday.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I don't know, especially at jordan hair man jordan hair crazy place it dude, it really is, man it's.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It doesn't get as much love on like a national level as like one of the hardest places to play yeah but it it damn sure is dude, because crappy auburn teams almost beat really good teams or beat them in jordan hair on a regular basis.
- 15:14Speaker 1: That's true uh, all right, that was the big ones.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Uh, old miss, oh boy, they got.
- 15:21Speaker 1: They got done in by stoopsie old poopsie.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Old poopsie, stoopsie went into dude's.
- 15:27Speaker 2: A solid coach man, man, he really is a solid coach man, Perfect at a place like Kentucky.
- 15:31Speaker 2: We're probably never going to win a national title, but whatever, Every once in a while we'll beat somebody.
- 15:37Speaker 2: We'll go into Oxford and beat Ole Miss.
- 15:40Speaker 1: They were the hottest team.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Dart was putting up Heisman numbers and they shut them down.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that Kentucky defense is really really good man.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I mean to hold.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Georgia the way they did and then to do what they did this past Saturday to Ole Miss.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I mean you hold a lane-kicking offense to 17 points at home that's a hell of an accomplishment yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Stoops has done a masterful job there.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You know he's going to make himself.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Why would you even leave if you were him?
- 16:11Speaker 2: That's right, there's no expectation, you can just.
- 16:14Speaker 2: He's a Roosevelt guy.
- 16:16Speaker 2: You're there in Lexington man.
- 16:18Speaker 2: You can recruit Ohio and a little bit of the Southeast.
- 16:21Speaker 2: He's perfect for them.
- 16:23Speaker 3: He's Bill Snyder at K-State man.
- 16:25Speaker 3: He ain't never going anywhere.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Well, it's just announced, finally, which DJ Uwe has broken his throwing finger, throwing a finger on his throwing hand.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Broke his pinky.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He broke his pinky.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Brock Glenn will get the start Saturday versus Clemson.
- 16:46Speaker 3: What a rough way to throw that kid in there, man.
- 16:50Speaker 1: The only good bright side is you were thrown into the fire as a true freshman.
- 16:55Speaker 2: There's no pressure in this game If you lose this game.
- 16:58Speaker 1: so what Be at home?
- 17:01Speaker 2: The first two are just absolute nightmares for him.
- 17:03Speaker 2: This will probably be probably get the crap kicked out of him, but whatever.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, because Clemson's hot right now.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Clemson is hot.
- 17:13Speaker 1: They look like almost like the best.
- 17:15Speaker 1: They look like destined to play Miami.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Those two teams look like they're destined to play oh man, it couldn't line up any worse.
- 17:21Speaker 2: dude Dabo is tied with Bobby for the most ACC wins by any coach you know.
- 17:32Speaker 3: You're going to have to pull for.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Miami in the ACC championship game.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Well, we'll wait and see what happens.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I know, dude, miami's schedule actually quote unquote gets kind of rough.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I was looking at it over the weekend and we only have two teams with losing records, only two of them left on our schedule, one of them being Florida State.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Yeah, that's your easiest game.
- 17:50Speaker 3: It's a rivalry game.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I know, I know All right.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Well, we're going to talk plenty of that when that comes around, but Brock Glenn will get the start.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It's 15 right now.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I believe he hurt his finger on the interception return right it was trying to get a fumble.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, that's right, and he got it.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I think it was.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It doesn't matter, yeah, it cares I mean even when he does it, good, the player's gonna drop it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So it's like when things it's just not working, like even when you're like, oh, he's starting to make some passes, then it's like, oh, it hits the guy right in the hands, it goes right to the defender.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So then he loses all his rhythm, which he didn't have anyway.
- 18:32Speaker 1: But it's just not working and it's just better.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Your season's gone down the tube, so you might as well.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Get reps and try to build confidence in some of these younger guys.
- 18:45Speaker 2: It'd be nice to see some younger guys on the offensive line.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah, no, there's no point.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Like you said, it's just not working, because I mean there have been I hate football Like a couple runs, like throughout these games, where DJU shows what gets scouts and coaches drooling over him and you'll get get like two or three series in a row and it's like oh, he figured it out and and it's only two or three series a game yeah, oh no, he's inconsistent yeah, that's.
- 19:16Speaker 2: that's about how many series you can survive when you you're just a predetermined read guy when it's you know, ball out as soon as I get it.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I mean, eventually you're gonna have to improvise and read coverages and whenever it comes to that point, he's awful at it.
- 19:31Speaker 2: He can't do it, he's got the yips at that man.
- 19:36Speaker 2: He'll just throw it to wherever just to get rid of it and not get hit.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's who's got the yips is freaking.
- 19:43Speaker 1: What's the tight end?
- 19:44Speaker 1: I can't think of his name, oh, kyle Morlock, morlock, yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Oh God.
- 19:48Speaker 2: He's got the yips when it comes to catching the ball.
- 19:50Speaker 2: He's got dick hands man.
- 19:51Speaker 2: That's why he can't catch.
- 19:53Speaker 3: That's what that's called.
- 19:56Speaker 2: He's never been able to catch.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I've never seen him make catches since he stepped on campus.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Those are routine.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Right, that's Chuck Knobloch throwing it over the first base instead.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly who was the pitcher?
- 20:07Speaker 2: John Lester Couldn't throw it to first either.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Yeah, Mackie.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Sasser, it's in your head.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Couldn't throw it back.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Alright, what NFL yesterday?
- 20:17Speaker 1: What stood out?
- 20:17Speaker 1: Except I suck at gambling Right.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Well, it looks like our whole podcast sucks.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I didn't go too bad, you're still living at home.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Home, you're just not gonna eat much.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I got the niners pick.
- 20:30Speaker 1: That's still in the house yet.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you got the niners pick, that's it.
- 20:34Speaker 1: We all, they, they covered uh, the bucks looked really good.
- 20:39Speaker 1: The bucks turned that, turned that crap around yeah oh yeah, sirianni.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Uh, dude, I think sirianni might be my new Staley.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I'm going to start calling for.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Sirianni's job.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Yeah, something's up.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It looks like it was the assistants, because they lost two assistants now, one to Arizona and one to Indianapolis now as head coaches, and they haven't been the same.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, if he had somebody that wasn't Anthony Richardson, I'd like to see what's his name Steichen, steichen can do as a head coach.
- 21:12Speaker 1: How about the Washington Commanders?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Jayden Daniels looks really good.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Jayden Daniels looks really good.
- 21:21Speaker 3: God, how mad are you if you're the Bears?
- 21:22Speaker 3: Oh, I know.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Right, I mean overthinking it.
- 21:26Speaker 1: They got the win, the.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Bears did get the win.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Fiske got him a sack fumble.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I don't know if he recovered it, but that was another game that you picked.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You said the Rams were going to be, and I was like I don't know, man, there's just something about that game, you know, and it's just the NFL.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the NFL.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Joe Flacco comes in and lights up the Steelers, who haven't given anything to anybody.
- 21:55Speaker 1: But Joe Flacco, he knows how to do it.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Joe Flacco dude, that'll never make any sense to me.
- 22:01Speaker 1: That is a perfect backup, though, because he's ready to go and he's still got a good arm and he knows the playbook, and he doesn't really care because he's still got a good arm and he and he knows the playbook, and he's doesn't really care Cause he already has a Superbowl ring.
- 22:10Speaker 1: He's got plenty of money, so he has nothing to lose.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So good pickup there.
- 22:15Speaker 3: You know it's like.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's like a back in the nineties, having Jeff George as your backup.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right he can come in and fling it at any time.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yep, anytime, all right.
- 22:26Speaker 1: What else stood out?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Brown still sucks Chiefs.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Chiefs win.
- 22:30Speaker 1: That's what they do, ugly.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I thought the Chargers were going to do something, but they didn't.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew they were covered.
- 22:39Speaker 3: You can see, Herbert is that ankle man.
- 22:43Speaker 3: They almost got to let him sit.
- 22:44Speaker 3: They almost can't let that ankle get better.
- 22:48Speaker 1: They're not playing Heineke the week prior to this week.
- 22:50Speaker 1: That's what we were saying last week.
- 22:53Speaker 1: They should have played.
- 22:54Speaker 1: They should have sat Herbert against the Steelers.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Don't let them play against them.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Rest them for your home game against the Chiefs and they've screwed up.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Now they've lost both games and he's still hurt.
- 23:08Speaker 3: And he's still hurt, dude, and I think a healthy Herbert might have been the difference in that game, I know.
- 23:13Speaker 1: They totally blew the chance, because what's the worst they can have.
- 23:16Speaker 1: And you lose and Heineke does real bad.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Well, you lost anyway and now your quarterback's hurt and it's going to make one loss, two losses, two to three and that's what you can't do.
- 23:28Speaker 3: That ankle man.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I mean like, how do these people not understand this yet that when you get an ankle sprain, you hit the guy, or else he's going to be dealing with this ankle all season.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Man, it's like a hamstring.
- 23:37Speaker 1: The Browns.
- 23:38Speaker 1: They lost to the Raiders because they suck.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson sucks.
- 23:42Speaker 3: How bad is Deshaun Watson?
- 23:44Speaker 1: He knows dirt.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson, he knows dirt.
- 23:46Speaker 2: He must have something on the owner or the coach.
- 23:48Speaker 2: That offensive line is trying to get that man killed.
- 23:50Speaker 1: They need to bench his.
- 23:53Speaker 3: There's ugh, you got to get it, hey.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you'll love this, austin dude.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I was already calling for it last week, man, but it is time for it's time for Jameis, man.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Dude, you could be insert backup.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I know I love Jameis, but it could be.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Any backup in the league that had that job deserves to be in the game, and that's what you saw, skylar.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Thompson.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Right, thompson, baby, exactly.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, this is God.
- 24:20Speaker 1: We're not even going to talk about this crap, the Miami crap.
- 24:23Speaker 1: We're not even going to go there.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I got that horrible Monday night game on.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Right now it's 6-3 in the second quarter.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Man Shoot me in the face.
- 24:32Speaker 2: This is brutal.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I see that the Lions are upset.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Well, we got to get on out of here.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Our ride's here, but I hate football.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it sucks, man.
- 24:43Speaker 2: The Braves made the wild card.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they did make the wild card.
- 24:47Speaker 1: They lost the first game in the doubleheader in a great game back and forth at the end, but they turned around and won the second game.
- 24:59Speaker 1: The Diamondbacks just sat there and stick up their ass.
- 25:02Speaker 1: That's all you can do.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Only a couple weeks away from Jimmy Bucket taking the court.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the NBA, the press Big trade in the NBA.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Carl Anthony Towns from the Timberwolves is going to the Knicks in exchange for Dante, invincizzo and Randall and a draft pick.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Dude Thibodeau is going to walk a mud hole through Cat dude and Cat is going to demand a trade.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I like the trade.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I like the trade for both teams actually.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Not to get too much NBA here right in late September.
- 25:39Speaker 1: But.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I think you had a—.

- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, man, it's full-on practice season now.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, who wants the ball?
- 26:01Speaker 2: Who wants to play?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Let's see how many good throws he can make in a game.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I'm setting the bar at four.
- 26:09Speaker 1: We'll see if we exceed expectations.
- 26:09Speaker 1: You know, even this is what needs to happen.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You need to have and football's the kind of sport you can do that you can have a rise up for one week.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You know you can put it together for one week, Right, they may be able to beat somebody else.
