- 0:01Speaker 1: Wake your ass up, fool. John Jay and Rich.
- 0:05Speaker 2: What's crackin' like?
- 0:06Speaker 1: And this is the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Bang, boom.
- 0:10Speaker 3: What you gonna do, John Jay and Rich?
- 0:13Speaker 2: We're not talking about Ren 10-10. We're not talking about lasting.
- 0:15Speaker 4: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 2: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:20Speaker 2: face to me and in the place to be. And
- 0:22Speaker 2: you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: All right, John Jay and Rich. Today is what, Rich?
- 0:28Speaker 5: Today is National Reptile Awareness Day. So hug yourself a snake,
- 0:33Speaker 5: a lizard, or a tortoise, I guess in your case, baby.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:36Speaker 5: It is National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day. I like this because
- 0:39Speaker 5: this is two desserts that I love colliding. I do
- 0:43Speaker 5: love me some cheesecake, and I do love me some
- 0:45Speaker 5: pumpkin pie. And it is Back to the Future Day,
- 0:48Speaker 5: October 21st. This is the date that Marty McFly traveled
- 0:52Speaker 5: to in Back to the Future Part 2, except for
- 0:55Speaker 5: he traveled to 2015.
- 0:57Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Back to the future day. Every once in a while,
- 1:01Speaker 2: we like to do a public service and get answers
- 1:04Speaker 2: for people with certain things. And Peyton's going through something
- 1:05Speaker 2: right now. We need to find somebody. We need answers
- 1:07Speaker 2: for something. Right, Peyton?
- 1:08Speaker 7: Yeah, because it's really starting to freak me out, truthfully.
- 1:12Speaker 7: So I need to know who out there in the
- 1:16Speaker 7: East Valley, Chandler, Arizona area drives a pink, a metallic pink,
- 1:24Speaker 7: I think, Wrangler Jeep. And you guys have a bunch
- 1:28Speaker 7: of rubber duckies in your front, like, windshield. Like, inside,
- 1:32Speaker 7: because you know how, like, Jeeps, they get ducked all
- 1:33Speaker 7: the time. You got a lot of those, but you're, like,
- 1:35Speaker 7: metallic and pink, and you're a Jeep. And if it's you,
- 1:39Speaker 7: I need to know, because.
- 1:41Speaker 8: You're starting to freak me out.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Are they doing tours of Sedona?
- 1:45Speaker 8: No, it's, like, not that color pink Jeep. It's, like,
- 1:47Speaker 8: metallic pink. It's, like, they remind me of my Nike
- 1:50Speaker 8: Hyperdunks I had when I was a kid.
- 1:51Speaker 2: So, let's go everywhere you are, you see this Jeep?
- 1:53Speaker 8: Literally, everywhere I go, I see this Jeep.
- 1:57Speaker 7: This weekend, I was driving back home from Vegas and
- 2:00Speaker 7: I saw the Jeep. I literally was beside myself. I
- 2:03Speaker 7: was like, oh my gosh, mom, the Jeep is following me.
- 2:06Speaker 7: Because I'm like, there's either two things. Either one, it's
- 2:09Speaker 7: bad energy that's trying to follow me. Or two, you're
- 2:12Speaker 7: my guardian angel. And I like the latter.
- 2:14Speaker 9: So.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Why would a guardian angel choose a pink jeep though?
- 2:18Speaker 8: Because it's cool?
- 2:19Speaker 10: Yeah, it's cute.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I would say, actually Rich, I would go that way
- 2:24Speaker 2: versus an evil jeep.
- 2:26Speaker 11: Yeah, like an evil jeep would have like spikes and
- 2:28Speaker 11: maybe be like, I don't know, like mean looking.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Black looking with a big whatever. But a pink, pink
- 2:33Speaker 2: is like happy, you know?
- 2:34Speaker 8: I've seen her pulling out of the Sephora yesterday. I
- 2:37Speaker 8: saw her driving up rigs. I'm like, well, I think
- 2:40Speaker 8: it's a her. I'm assuming it's a her. It's a
- 2:41Speaker 8: pink Jeep. I'm assuming. But I need to know who
- 2:44Speaker 8: you are because you're freaking me out. And I know
- 2:45Speaker 8: they don't see me because I just drive a regular
- 2:47Speaker 8: Toyota Corolla. I blend in.
- 2:49Speaker 10: Unless they are following you.
- 2:50Speaker 8: Unless they are.
- 2:50Speaker 11: Have you Googled what pink Jeep means or anything like that?
- 2:56Speaker 8: I haven't Googled what pink Jeep with like 50 rubber
- 2:58Speaker 8: duckies is.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Well, the rubber duckies I know, but it's a pink Jeep.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So it's like she doesn't sell Mary Kay, does she?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Isn't that a pink thing?
- 3:04Speaker 10: Yeah, Mary-Kate's like a light pink, I think. It's a
- 3:07Speaker 10: different color pink.
- 3:08Speaker 7: I don't know, but it's this very specific metallic pink,
- 3:12Speaker 7: which makes me think that it has to be. There's
- 3:14Speaker 7: no way there's two pink metallic Jeeps with a bunch
- 3:16Speaker 7: of rubber duckies.
- 3:18Speaker 10: What's the odds of that?
- 3:20Speaker 12: Oh, wow.
- 3:20Speaker 11: Okay, so seeing a metallic pink Jeep everywhere is most
- 3:25Speaker 11: likely a psychological phenomenon known as the Bader-Meinhof phenomenon or
- 3:31Speaker 11: frequency illusion phenomenon.
- 3:33Speaker 10: Rather than a sign or hidden mystical meaning.
- 3:37Speaker 11: So basically your brain is incredibly efficient at filtering out
- 3:40Speaker 11: unnecessary information. However, once you notice something highly unique, like
- 3:44Speaker 11: a metallic pink Jeep, your brain flags it as important
- 3:47Speaker 11: or interesting.
- 3:48Speaker 10: So you start seeing it more.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Huh?
- 3:50Speaker 2: So it does exist.
- 3:53Speaker 8: The phenomenon exists.
- 3:54Speaker 10: It's not saying it doesn't exist, yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Okay, so you might have seen more than one pink jeep.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Or is it the same pink jeep?
- 4:00Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure it's the same pink jeep.
- 4:02Speaker 10: I feel like that's a unique paint job.
- 4:03Speaker 8: It's a very, and that's why. So if that's you-
- 4:05Speaker 8: Take a picture next time. Okay, I will. But I'm driving.
- 4:07Speaker 8: I don't want to get a distracted driving ticket. I've
- 4:09Speaker 8: gotten two already. Oh, okay.
- 4:11Speaker 10: On the other side, this is good news.
- 4:13Speaker 11: Apparently, seeing a pink car is often taken as a
- 4:18Speaker 11: personal sign of love, compassion, or a message from the universe-
- 4:21Speaker 11: through interpretations very widely.
- 4:26Speaker 2: We're going to do a 180 on that right now
- 4:28Speaker 2: because it is Halloween season. We're going to get into
- 4:30Speaker 2: the scariest thing that's ever happened to you. Tina, what
- 4:34Speaker 2: is the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?
- 4:36Speaker 13: My husband's mom lived with.
- 4:37Speaker 14: Us for a short period of time.
- 4:39Speaker 15: She is a.
- 4:40Speaker 13: True paranoid schizophrenic and I've never, you know, lived with
- 4:44Speaker 13: somebody who was like truly diagnosed and she was talking
- 4:47Speaker 13: to herself a lot, you know, and things like that,
- 4:49Speaker 13: which is all totally normal stuff. But when you listen,
- 4:53Speaker 13: you know, she's constantly talking about, you know, sometimes it
- 4:55Speaker 13: was about angels. Sometimes it was about demons. And she
- 4:59Speaker 13: would have this, like, laughter that would never stop for, like,
- 5:02Speaker 13: 45 minutes straight. And that's not an exaggeration. And it's
- 5:04Speaker 13: like a he-he-he-he, like a he-he voice.
- 5:07Speaker 14: You know, it was really odd.
- 5:09Speaker 13: But one day, you know, she's staying here. And as
- 5:13Speaker 13: time progresses, we're all starting to talk, me, my husband,
- 5:16Speaker 13: and my daughter, about how we've been having nightmares lately.
- 5:19Speaker 13: And we're like, oh, you're having nightmares too? And yes,
- 5:22Speaker 13: and they're all about his mom. You know, like I
- 5:25Speaker 13: had a dream that she stabbed up our dogs, and
- 5:28Speaker 13: my daughter had a dream that she pushed her down
- 5:30Speaker 13: the stairs.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Oh, jeez.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And we were having.
- 5:31Speaker 15: These bad, bad dreams.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:33Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 13: So we're having these bad dreams, and it's just getting odd.
- 5:37Speaker 13: You know, she looks at the corner of the ceiling
- 5:39Speaker 13: and says weird things. And one day she was outside,
- 5:43Speaker 13: and we try to keep her quiet when she's outside
- 5:44Speaker 13: because she says some crazy stuff outside, and the neighbors
- 5:48Speaker 13: are questioning her. And she's listening to this radio outside
- 5:52Speaker 13: as loud as it can go. And she is one
- 5:54Speaker 13: inch away from this radio. And she's talking into this radio.
- 5:57Speaker 13: And it was like in between stations. It was one
- 5:59Speaker 13: where it's not digital. You can program it, you know,
- 6:02Speaker 13: with the knob. And she's talking into this radio. And
- 6:06Speaker 13: the radio doesn't make sense because it's just static. And
- 6:09Speaker 13: I'm trying to get her attention. And when she whipped
- 6:11Speaker 13: around and turned around and looked at me, she just
- 6:14Speaker 13: looks at me and she is just this. And it
- 6:17Speaker 13: would not stop. she had this look in her eyes,
- 6:21Speaker 13: like her eyes were just different. And, and like instantly
- 6:23Speaker 13: the hairs on my back just stood straight up. Like
- 6:26Speaker 13: I felt very uncomfortable. I just shut the door and
- 6:28Speaker 13: backed away. Now it just lots of incidences like this.
- 6:33Speaker 13: So we're like, you know, your mom's got to go.
- 6:35Speaker 13: It's like, my, my, my daughter's getting scared. Like we're
- 6:37Speaker 13: all on edge around here. We're locking doors in and
- 6:40Speaker 13: out of everywhere we go. And it's just getting really uncomfortable.
- 6:43Speaker 13: So he went to send her back to California when
- 6:46Speaker 13: she left the very next day. I always go downstairs
- 6:49Speaker 13: to see my daughter. I go into the mudroom that
- 6:52Speaker 13: literally has nothing in it. And there's this massive pool
- 6:55Speaker 13: of blood. And I'm like, oh my God, you know,
- 6:57Speaker 13: my first thought, I'm trying to rationalize it. If one
- 7:00Speaker 13: of the dogs is bleeding, you know, someone, one of
- 7:01Speaker 13: the dogs, check the dogs and the dogs are fine
- 7:04Speaker 13: and they're white. You know, so you could tell if
- 7:05Speaker 13: somebody was peeing blood or something, there's nothing. So I'm
- 7:09Speaker 13: looking closer at this pool of blood, like literal pool
- 7:12Speaker 13: of blood in this room and And there's nothing that
- 7:15Speaker 13: could have been spilled. It's dark, dark red. And it
- 7:18Speaker 13: is in the shape of a person. I sent you
- 7:21Speaker 13: guys the picture. I hope you got it on the
- 7:23Speaker 13: Facebook page of what this blood pool looked like. It
- 7:27Speaker 13: had like legs and a torso. No head, just legs
- 7:31Speaker 13: and a torso. And when I wiped this up, it
- 7:34Speaker 13: wasn't even red on the napkin. It was like a grayish,
- 7:38Speaker 13: greenish color, like mold on my paper towel. You know,
- 7:44Speaker 13: I'm like, okay, this is really odd. So I go downstairs.
- 7:48Speaker 13: I tell my daughter what just happened. I took pictures
- 7:50Speaker 13: of it because I'm like, this is, you know, you
- 7:52Speaker 13: can't explain this.
- 7:53Speaker 16: And there's no explanation where that came from.
- 7:56Speaker 13: Nothing where it could have possibly ever came from. And
- 7:58Speaker 13: it was shaped like a person. So me and my
- 8:00Speaker 13: daughter are sitting downstairs talking about this. And we hear
- 8:04Speaker 13: two people walking by outside. And it's almost midnight at
- 8:07Speaker 13: this point. And so I turn on my security cameras
- 8:10Speaker 13: and we're looking at my phone, watching these two guys
- 8:12Speaker 13: walk by. And on this video, one of the guys
- 8:16Speaker 13: of the two literally morphed. I mean, my daughter watched
- 8:20Speaker 13: this in real time. He morphed into what looked like
- 8:23Speaker 13: a dog with no head and ran off and flew
- 8:28Speaker 13: up into the sky like this white orb just disappeared.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Could you be the one that's schizophrenic? Schizophrenic? Yeah. No,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:37Speaker 17: You cannot duplicate it.
- 8:39Speaker 13: We cannot have any explanations for this. And, you know,
- 8:44Speaker 13: we've had doors opening and closing while she was living here.
- 8:47Speaker 13: But that was kind of like the final thing. Like
- 8:49Speaker 13: she was gone and like all this stuff started happening
- 8:53Speaker 13: right away. And then nothing else happened ever again after that.
- 8:56Speaker 13: And all our dreams were better. And she's, you know,
- 8:59Speaker 13: living in a group home.
- 9:01Speaker 5: How could somebody affect your dreams like that?
- 9:04Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 9:07Speaker 13: Because she was so scary to us.
- 9:12Speaker 14: And that's what I think.
- 9:13Speaker 13: I was like, your mom has more than this. Like
- 9:15Speaker 13: she has something attached to her. Like she talks about
- 9:18Speaker 13: demons a lot. Like, and she was, she would make
- 9:21Speaker 13: the hair stand up when she passed you. You would
- 9:24Speaker 13: hear her moving furniture. Like it sounded like she was
- 9:26Speaker 13: moving furniture in the night and you go in her
- 9:29Speaker 13: room and it looks exactly the same as it did.
- 9:30Speaker 13: So I don't know what she was doing in there.
- 9:32Speaker 13: She's 60 years old. So for the amount of moving
- 9:35Speaker 13: going on in the floor, it sounded like she was
- 9:38Speaker 13: moving furniture.
- 9:39Speaker 10: And he was just very, very around.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Send us a picture. I can't find it. I'm looking
- 9:43Speaker 2: all over for it on Facebook. Can you resend it
- 9:44Speaker 2: to us?
- 9:45Speaker 13: Yeah, because I had a little bit of trouble on
- 9:48Speaker 13: the Facebook. Is there another way I can send it?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Hold on the line. We'll get it. Is it okay
- 9:52Speaker 2: if we post it?
- 9:53Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Okay. Hold on, Tina. Thank you. That is way scary. Way,
- 9:57Speaker 2: way scary.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Way.
- 9:58Speaker 15: Thank you.
- 9:59Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 1: We're glad it's over.
- 10:02Speaker 2: We want to hear your scary stories more throughout the day,
- 10:04Speaker 2: throughout the week, up until Halloween. It's John Jade Rich.
- 10:08Speaker 19: Stop just yelling at the radio. Call us. 877-937-1047. It's
- 10:15Speaker 19: John Jay and Rich.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Hey, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?
- 10:18Speaker 7: Well, the universe has some very specific messages for a
- 10:22Speaker 7: lot of zodiac signs today, so I'm going to let
- 10:23Speaker 7: you know exactly what they are. If it's your birthday today,
- 10:26Speaker 7: you are a Libra, and you share a birthday with
- 10:29Speaker 7: the goat, Kim Kardashian. Dosha Cat, who's going to be
- 10:31Speaker 7: here next week, Judge Judy, Amber Rose, Glenn Powell, and
- 10:35Speaker 7: Carrie Fisher. May she rest in peace.
- 10:37Speaker 8: But Kyle, you're our Libra in the room, so we
- 10:39Speaker 8: are going to start with.
- 10:40Speaker 10: You for Libras.
- 10:43Speaker 7: You are about to have a really awkward encounter with
- 10:45Speaker 7: someone that you promised you would make plans with. So
- 10:48Speaker 7: you probably have said, like, we have to get together soon,
- 10:51Speaker 7: three months ago. But now they're going to stand on
- 10:53Speaker 7: business and they are applying the pressure. So this is
- 10:56Speaker 7: why we don't make fake plans.
- 10:58Speaker 11: You know what's funny is I read something like Mercury
- 11:02Speaker 11: is coming out of retrograde or going back into retrograde
- 11:04Speaker 11: the 24th. And that's what's supposed to bring back a
- 11:07Speaker 11: lot of toxic people from your past.
- 11:10Speaker 10: Yeah, it's going to.
- 11:11Speaker 7: Be some weird juju because Libra season does end tomorrow,
- 11:15Speaker 7: the 22nd.
- 11:16Speaker 8: So yeah, Mercury in retrograde is going to have us all.
- 11:19Speaker 10: In Scorpio season?
- 11:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You know what?
- 11:23Speaker 8: That's what it is. The Scorpios are toxic.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Are they rolling when Mercury is in retrograde? Like it's
- 11:29Speaker 5: their time? Or most people feel awkward?
- 11:31Speaker 8: Most people are, like, in a little bit of a funk.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Because Mercury in retrograde, it really just throws off, like,
- 11:36Speaker 7: the energy and the vibe, especially with, like, electronics and
- 11:38Speaker 7: just weird people in your space.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Good morning, Mary Kay. What's your sign?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Hi.
- 11:42Speaker 13: Good morning, everyone.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm an Aries.
- 11:45Speaker 7: All right, Aries, you guys are about to get an
- 11:47Speaker 7: apology for someone who never, I mean, never admits when
- 11:50Speaker 7: they're wrong. So enjoy the moment, but don't immediately ruin
- 11:54Speaker 7: it by reminding them of everything else that they've done.
- 11:56Speaker 7: You Aries, you kind of sometimes tend to do that,
- 11:58Speaker 7: but sometimes winning means knowing when just to like zip it,
- 12:01Speaker 7: you know?
- 12:02Speaker 20: You know, so true.
- 12:04Speaker 14: Be the bigger person.
- 12:06Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Thanks, Mary Kay.
- 12:08Speaker 21: Awesome.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 12:10Speaker 22: You guys too.
- 12:11Speaker 16: Bye.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Nicole, good morning. What's your sign?
- 12:14Speaker 23: Good morning.
- 12:15Speaker 15: I'm a Gemini.
- 12:16Speaker 7: Okay, so my Geminis, you guys are probably about to
- 12:19Speaker 7: accidentally like a picture that you had no business looking at.
- 12:23Speaker 8: And it's not a recent photo either.
- 12:25Speaker 7: I mean, I'm talking like 2016 back when everyone else
- 12:28Speaker 7: was using like those weird Instagram filters.
- 12:30Speaker 8: So put the phone down before you accidentally follow their dad.
- 12:34Speaker 8: It is not going to go good for you.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Oops.
- 12:40Speaker 8: I love it.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Thanks, Nicole. Have a great day. Bye, Nicole.
- 12:42Speaker 7: You too.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
- 12:43Speaker 2: How about Virgos?
- 12:44Speaker 7: Okay, John Jay, you are about to realize that somebody
- 12:47Speaker 7: has been doing something wrong for months and nobody bothered
- 12:51Speaker 7: to tell them.
- 12:52Speaker 8: So your first.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Instinct was to create a PowerPoint slide to tell them
- 12:56Speaker 7: exactly why they are no good at what they are doing.
- 12:58Speaker 8: A mandatory training session.
- 13:00Speaker 7: But in my opinion, you should probably just start with
- 13:02Speaker 7: a conversation.
- 13:03Speaker 8: So if someone is doing something wrong, just tell them.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Okay, I will. I need to talk to all three
- 13:09Speaker 2: of you.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Oh, great.
- 13:11Speaker 2: You're going to get out.
- 13:11Speaker 10: The laundry list.
- 13:12Speaker 8: There we go.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I've offered Leos.
- 13:15Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm a Leo.
- 13:17Speaker 7: Us Leos, we are about to receive an invitation to
- 13:19Speaker 7: something that we secretly really wanted to be included in.
- 13:23Speaker 7: But we got to remember to play it cool. But
- 13:25Speaker 7: we can't pretend like we're too busy just to seem mysterious.
- 13:27Speaker 7: So the universe is opening up some doors for us.
- 13:30Speaker 7: We just have to have the balls to walk through it.
- 13:32Speaker 2: All right, let's wrap up with Pisces.
- 13:33Speaker 8: Okay, rich Pisces. You are about to find something that
- 13:37Speaker 8: you thought you lost forever.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Maybe that's like a fancy new cross necklace that you
- 13:41Speaker 7: found or an old gift card and maybe even some
- 13:43Speaker 7: cash and a jacket that you haven't worn since like
- 13:45Speaker 7: last winter. So consider it a tiny refund from the
- 13:47Speaker 7: universe for everything that you've been through lately.
- 13:49Speaker 8: I know you've been going through the trenches.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Do you know what is crazy? I just found a
- 13:53Speaker 5: Guitar Center gift card from last Christmas.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Hey, that's the universe telling you to go buy things.
- 13:58Speaker 2: That's from Nick.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Yes.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like $ 50. That's from Nick.
- 14:02Speaker 9: Hello.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm going to use it.
- 14:03Speaker 8: Look at that.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Cha-ching.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And if we didn't get your sign there, I'll post
- 14:06Speaker 2: it on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 14:10Speaker 19: If chaos was a radio show, you're listening to it.
- 14:14Speaker 19: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Remember last week, Peyton was telling us that story about
- 14:18Speaker 2: the mom that when she found out her son got fired,
- 14:20Speaker 2: she called the job to find out, you know, to
- 14:23Speaker 2: defend him, to try to get his job back. And
- 14:25Speaker 2: we thought, we got into how parents overstepped. Yeah, and
- 14:27Speaker 2: he was like a 25-year-old. Yeah, a couple more. Bianca,
- 14:30Speaker 2: how did your parents overstep?
- 14:32Speaker 17: My parents, I was in my early 20s.
- 14:35Speaker 24: My boyfriend from college, he was in the military and
- 14:40Speaker 24: I was in my bedroom. He had been spending time
- 14:43Speaker 24: with us. And then back then I was studying in
- 14:48Speaker 24: my bedroom and my mom came and spied on us,
- 14:53Speaker 24: making sure that I was studying. She knew he was
- 14:55Speaker 24: in my bedroom and she went outside of my bedroom.
- 14:59Speaker 24: Like she went out of the house, peeked. through the
- 15:03Speaker 24: window and she saw my boyfriend and I having sex.
- 15:09Speaker 1: That's on her.
- 15:11Speaker 22: That was the.
- 15:12Speaker 24: Most unshocking thing for her because for her, I was
- 15:16Speaker 24: still a virgin and I'm like, yeah.
- 15:19Speaker 2: She was a version. She was a version of the virgin.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:22Speaker 7: I'm like, instant karma, though, for your mom. That's what
- 15:24Speaker 7: I would tell my mom. After she screamed at me
- 15:28Speaker 7: and tried to whoop me, I.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Would just be like, well, that's why you need to
- 15:30Speaker 8: mind your own business.
- 15:31Speaker 10: I would totally spy.
- 15:32Speaker 2: A hundred percent.
- 15:34Speaker 15: Okay.
- 15:34Speaker 2: First of all, you spying and her mom spying. So far,
- 15:37Speaker 2: to me, none of that is overstepping.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You bring a boy into your room. I mean, that's
- 15:43Speaker 2: so hard.
- 15:43Speaker 8: What are you guys doing?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 8: And then she probably confirmed.
- 15:46Speaker 10: What she thought you were doing.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why they overstepped.
- 15:48Speaker 10: And I was probably horrified.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're 27 years old and she's outside your
- 15:52Speaker 2: bathroom window at your own house, you'll be like, hey,
- 15:54Speaker 2: what are you doing?
- 15:55Speaker 3: Right, exactly.
- 15:56Speaker 10: In high school.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So she must be traumatized. You can call us back
- 16:00Speaker 2: for how did you traumatize your parents.
- 16:04Speaker 25: All right.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Well, thanks, Bianca. Thanks for calling in. She thought her
- 16:06Speaker 2: daughter was a virgin. Thank you. Now, Steven sent me
- 16:09Speaker 2: a DM, and I needed more details on this story. Steven,
- 16:12Speaker 2: what happened with your parents?
- 16:13Speaker 6: Yeah, so we were hanging out at my house one night.
- 16:17Speaker 6: We had this girl come over, and after we were
- 16:20Speaker 6: hanging out, she's like, hey, can I leave this with you?
- 16:23Speaker 1: And I was like, sure, sure.
- 16:26Speaker 6: I wasn't too sure what to do with it, so
- 16:27Speaker 6: I just hid it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Ended up being a.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Pound of marijuana.
- 16:30Speaker 9: Nice.
- 16:31Speaker 6: And I was like, yeah, I'll hold on to it
- 16:34Speaker 6: for you. She said she'll be back in the morning.
- 16:36Speaker 6: I go to get it the next morning when she
- 16:38Speaker 6: calls me, and it's not there. I'm like, what the
- 16:41Speaker 6: heck happened to it?
- 16:42Speaker 1: I didn't touch it.
- 16:43Speaker 6: She pulls up, starts lecturing.
- 16:45Speaker 16: Me about it.
- 16:46Speaker 4: I need my money.
- 16:46Speaker 6: I need my money.
- 16:47Speaker 16: And I'm like, I don't have.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Money for you. I didn't expect this to happen.
- 16:51Speaker 6: So, you know, after a few hours of trying to
- 16:53Speaker 6: figure stuff out, I was like, yeah. I was going
- 16:55Speaker 6: to ask my mom for the money. So I told
- 16:57Speaker 6: her about it.
- 16:58Speaker 2: She said, so what happened?
- 16:59Speaker 6: I was like, well, you know, so-and-so came over. She said,
- 17:01Speaker 6: can you hold this? I was expecting only.
- 17:03Speaker 1: To have it overnight. I go out there and it's gone.
- 17:06Speaker 2: She goes, let me talk to her.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I go, are you sure?
- 17:10Speaker 2: She says, yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:13Speaker 6: So I go out there to tell the girl, I'm like, hey,
- 17:15Speaker 6: my mom's going to come talk to you right now.
- 17:16Speaker 18: And she's like, your mom?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Oh, oh, no way. No way. And she just sped off.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I was like, OK, cool.
- 17:23Speaker 14: Thanks, mom.
- 17:23Speaker 2: So what happened to the weed?
- 17:26Speaker 10: I know.
- 17:26Speaker 6: So honestly, I told her, I was like, yeah, I'm
- 17:29Speaker 6: not going to pay for that Mexican weed right there.
- 17:31Speaker 3: That's dirt.
- 17:33Speaker 6: And I honestly think she.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Took it from me.
- 17:35Speaker 6: She left it, saw where I put it, went back
- 17:38Speaker 6: and grabbed it and then tried to hustle me.
- 17:39Speaker 8: Oh, I thought your mom took the weed.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I thought mom.
- 17:43Speaker 10: Took the weed too.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I was like, dang. So mom, you still don't know.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Mom could have taken the weed though. You still don't know.
- 17:49Speaker 16: Honestly, no.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, because your mom had no problem talking to the lady.
- 17:54Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Your mom came back, hey, let me tell you what's
- 17:56Speaker 2: going on with my son. He's whatever, whatever, whatever. And
- 17:59Speaker 2: she's like, yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 10: Mom's nose.
- 18:00Speaker 8: Yeah, she just came up on a pound of weed, too.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Those are not cheap. Your mom's like that lady of euphoria.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Your mom's like that lady of euphoria that Rue works for.
- 18:10Speaker 10: She's like, Rue, you owe me $ 58, 000.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Oh, God, that's so funny. All right, Steven.
- 18:16Speaker 6: You know, she was really calm when she said that.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yes. All right, brother. Thanks for calling in, man. Yes, sir.
- 18:23Speaker 1: You guys have a good one.
- 18:24Speaker 5: The commercials are finally over.
- 18:27Speaker 19: Let's get back to John Jay and Rich.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Hey, Jessica.
- 18:30Speaker 19: Good morning.
- 18:31Speaker 2: What's going on? Hello.
- 18:32Speaker 10: Hi.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So you're calling about a creepy date story.
- 18:36Speaker 22: So I didn't date this guy. I was actually, I
- 18:39Speaker 22: went to elementary school with him. His name was Brett.
- 18:42Speaker 22: Super nice, super quiet. Like I don't even remember what
- 18:46Speaker 22: his voice sounded like in elementary school because he was
- 18:49Speaker 22: so quiet and so shy that.
- 18:50Speaker 26: He didn't talk really.
- 18:53Speaker 22: We went to middle school together and then we went to,
- 18:55Speaker 22: we were in the same neighborhood, but we went to
- 18:57Speaker 22: separate high schools. So fast forward to high school. I
- 19:00Speaker 22: hadn't seen him in a while. I was, like, a sophomore,
- 19:03Speaker 22: maybe junior. And I saw him at the mall, and
- 19:07Speaker 22: he had gotten a lot taller and a lot thinner.
- 19:10Speaker 22: I wasn't attracted to him. I wasn't, like, there was nothing, like,
- 19:16Speaker 22: romantically involved. But I was like, Brett? And he was like, oh, hey,
- 19:21Speaker 22: how's it going? And he was, like, more outgoing, probably
- 19:23Speaker 22: more confident. And.
- 19:27Speaker 22: He started showing up to my house on his dirt
- 19:30Speaker 22: bike like multiple times a week. I don't know if
- 19:34Speaker 22: it was me like just being nice to him or what,
- 19:38Speaker 22: but or maybe he thought something could possibly happen. But
- 19:44Speaker 22: most of the time I wasn't there. And then one
- 19:47Speaker 22: night I get home from dance really late and my
- 19:50Speaker 22: bedroom specifically was faced towards our backyard and right above
- 19:56Speaker 22: the hill in our yard was the golf course. So
- 20:00Speaker 22: we hear this like loud crashing noise and I'm like.
- 20:03Speaker 13: What the heck?
- 20:04Speaker 22: And so we go, it was late and was obviously
- 20:06Speaker 22: super dark. And he comes moseying out of our side
- 20:11Speaker 22: gate on our, in our backyard. And he has binoculars
- 20:16Speaker 22: around his neck and he's got a gash on his forehead.
- 20:19Speaker 22: Like he was up there being a peeping Tom.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 20:24Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 20:24Speaker 22: And then I don't even know how we, this came up,
- 20:28Speaker 22: but my husband was in the fire Academy. We, we
- 20:33Speaker 22: grew up in California, both of us, but we now
- 20:35Speaker 22: live in Arizona. Um, he was in the fire Academy
- 20:39Speaker 22: and this guy ended up being in one of his classes.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Small world. That's creepy. I know.
- 20:46Speaker 22: And I was like, so yeah, it was like really crazy.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Thanks for calling in Jessica.
- 20:53Speaker 22: Yeah, thank you.
- 20:55Speaker 19: You know when it gets to last call and all
- 20:57Speaker 19: the dudes kind of start creeping up on you?
- 21:00Speaker 2: We have the solution.
- 21:01Speaker 19: Give them the John Jay and Rich drunk dial line. 602-888-1933.
- 21:06Speaker 19: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It's time for Stacks and Hacks.
- 21:11Speaker 20: Right on.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I have stacks of information and Rich has life hacks.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Anybody here into video games? Grand Theft Auto?
- 21:19Speaker 8: Sometimes I like watching my husband play them.
- 21:21Speaker 10: I like Mario Kart.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Grand Theft Auto is like one of the biggest games.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Anticipation for this game is tremendous and the graphics are
- 21:29Speaker 2: better than ever. An economics professor thinks that the release
- 21:32Speaker 2: of Grand Theft Auto will cost businesses over a billion
- 21:36Speaker 2: dollars in lost productivity. The game comes out on a
- 21:40Speaker 2: Thursday and an estimated 1.5 million people will skip it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: will skip work to play it all weekend. Wow.
- 21:47Speaker 7: I was just going to say, I think it's been
- 21:48Speaker 7: forever since the new GTA has come out, right?
- 21:50Speaker 8: People have just been waiting on it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's a big time in my house. Do you see
- 21:54Speaker 2: the new South Park where they're talking about it like
- 21:55Speaker 2: something terrible is going on in town? They're like, but
- 21:57Speaker 2: that's okay because GTA is coming out in November.
- 21:59Speaker 18: Yeah, I know.
- 22:00Speaker 8: My brother's a big GTA player, so he's pumped about that.
- 22:02Speaker 2: And HOA is catching heat. After asking residents not to
- 22:08Speaker 2: hand out full-size candy bars on Halloween, they said their
- 22:11Speaker 2: goal is to help keep the experience consistent throughout the
- 22:14Speaker 2: neighborhood and to avoid a situation where some homes feel
- 22:16Speaker 2: pressured to match larger offerings.
- 22:18Speaker 10: Oh, that's silly. Hand out whatever you want to hand out.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 8: We are not.
- 22:22Speaker 7: We always handed out the full-size candy bars. My dad
- 22:24Speaker 7: had the best Halloween hack. I love Almond Joys. And
- 22:29Speaker 7: most people don't like Almond Joys. So what my dad
- 22:31Speaker 7: would do when he would hand out candy, he would say, okay,
- 22:34Speaker 7: empty out your bag. Give me all of your Almond Joys.
- 22:36Speaker 7: And every 10 Almond Joys gives you an extra full-size
- 22:39Speaker 7: candy bar.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Every 10 Almond Joys?
- 22:41Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Sometimes you feel like a nut. He was a hustler.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't. Do you know what my neighbor did?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Almond Joys got nuts.
- 22:47Speaker 8: Mouths don't.
- 22:48Speaker 2: My neighbor handed out, that was a huge hit last year,
- 22:50Speaker 2: was ramen noodles.
- 22:51Speaker 8: Oh, that's good.
- 22:52Speaker 2: The super spicy ones.
- 22:54Speaker 10: Was that actually a hit with the kids?
- 22:56Speaker 2: It was an actual hit. Oh, I'm sure.
- 22:59Speaker 10: The kids?
- 23:00Speaker 5: With the, like I'd say middle schoolers.
- 23:03Speaker 10: Twins. Twins would probably like it.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Speaking of nuts, according to a study, people who eat
- 23:06Speaker 2: a lot of nuts have a 16% lower risk of
- 23:09Speaker 2: developing high blood pressure. These nuts. Don't you love nuts?
- 23:14Speaker 2: I love nuts. Love nuts. Also cashews. A 33-year-old man
- 23:20Speaker 2: in Canada just won a city council election after a
- 23:23Speaker 2: campaign about him not knowing what he was doing. He
- 23:26Speaker 2: had signs that said, how hard can this be? He goes,
- 23:28Speaker 2: I barely want to do this. And people voted him in.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I would too. How hard could it be?
- 23:33Speaker 10: Because people get so sick of politicians, right?
- 23:37Speaker 2: I know. I'm so sick of them. Do you know
- 23:38Speaker 2: about what's happened in Alaska where there's two guys with
- 23:40Speaker 2: the same name?
- 23:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 2: The exact same name?
- 23:42Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And I don't, who would you, how do you know
- 23:44Speaker 2: who to vote for? And one of them, there's a campaign,
- 23:46Speaker 2: a negative campaign ad against one of them that one
- 23:48Speaker 2: of them's doing, but they have the same name. This
- 23:52Speaker 2: is pretty interesting. He says, do you have streaming fatigue?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Have you ever spent so much time at night looking
- 23:57Speaker 2: for something to watch that you eventually gave up and
- 23:59Speaker 2: went to bed? Yes. If so, you're struggling from streaming fatigue.
- 24:03Speaker 2: A survey found from a few years ago found the U.S.
- 24:05Speaker 2: streamer subscriber spends 110 hours a year searching for something
- 24:09Speaker 2: to watch.
- 24:10Speaker 8: Oh, that's ridiculous.
- 24:10Speaker 2: They call it content overload. I get like that every
- 24:13Speaker 2: once in a while. Also, right now, The Diplomat is
- 24:16Speaker 2: number one on Netflix or number two on Netflix. And
- 24:18Speaker 2: I want to get to The Diplomat at season four.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I love the first three seasons. but there's so many
- 24:22Speaker 2: other things I'm watching right now that I can't get
- 24:24Speaker 2: into it just yet.
- 24:25Speaker 10: What else are you watching right now?
- 24:26Speaker 2: I'm watching war. I'm watching a couple of standup comedians.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I'm watching, uh, uh, slow horses, season finale, slow horses
- 24:35Speaker 2: comes out today. Like I'm, you know, there's a lot
- 24:37Speaker 2: of like that, that I'm watching. Um, it's just stressful
- 24:40Speaker 2: for me right now. Streaming fatigue, streaming fatigue.
- 24:44Speaker 15: Okay.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Real quick. This guy's girlfriend, they're going through the drive-thru
- 24:47Speaker 2: and I've done this before just for fun, but I
- 24:49Speaker 2: didn't know it was a practical joke to do to people.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Girl got her boyfriend in the drive-thru to order and
- 24:55Speaker 2: ask for the order to go.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Right?
- 24:57Speaker 2: So you're going to hear, they're calling it a practical joke,
- 24:59Speaker 2: but I think it's fun to do anyway.
- 25:01Speaker 1: In a small Sprite to go.
- 25:03Speaker 2: In a small Sprite, please.
- 25:05Speaker 14: Aaron, it's okay?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 25:07Speaker 23: Yes.
- 25:08Speaker 8: Say to go.
- 25:09Speaker 2: To go, please. To go? You are getting dropped here.
- 25:13Speaker 2: You do realize that, right? I was not the one
- 25:16Speaker 2: saying that.
- 25:18Speaker 7: She's telling me what to order.
- 25:22Speaker 4: All right.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Anything else?
- 25:24Speaker 8: That'll be it. Thank you.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Somebody, the guy, why does he have to throw the
- 25:30Speaker 2: girlfriend out of the bus? He's going to have to go.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Stand on business.
- 25:33Speaker 8: For your dad. The guy at.
- 25:35Speaker 2: The drive-thru is like, anyway, it's funny. Hey, Rich, what
- 25:38Speaker 2: do you got for life hacks?
- 25:39Speaker 5: I've been doing the pumpkin carving all wrong, apparently. And
- 25:43Speaker 5: so have all of us. You know how you cut
- 25:45Speaker 5: the top and the pumpkin and you scoop out all
- 25:48Speaker 5: the guts and all that?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yeah. No, no, no, no.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Not according to the new pumpkin experts. Open it at
- 25:54Speaker 5: the bottom of the pumpkin instead. You scoop out the
- 25:56Speaker 5: guts the same way. Then you set that pumpkin down
- 26:00Speaker 5: over your light. They say don't use a candle because
- 26:02Speaker 5: that burns it. But if you use like an LED light,
- 26:05Speaker 5: you set it on top from the bottom and you
- 26:07Speaker 5: still have the top of the pumpkin.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Kind of clever.
- 26:10Speaker 5: It works way better than tiny plastic things and carving
- 26:13Speaker 5: kits that, you know, makes your pumpkin look stupid. This
- 26:15Speaker 5: is going to make your pumpkin look cool. So this year,
- 26:18Speaker 5: cut it from the bottom. Let us know how that
- 26:19Speaker 5: works for you. That life hack and many more can
- 26:22Speaker 5: be found at johnjandrich.com.
- 26:24Speaker 19: We want you to be part of the show. Call
- 26:27Speaker 19: us 877-937-1047. Get on the air with John Jay and Rich.
- 26:34Speaker 2: It's spooky season. We like to get into so many
- 26:36Speaker 2: different things. There's such a huge umbrella, and every year
- 26:38Speaker 2: we get into creepy things kids have said to you. Cheyenne,
- 26:42Speaker 2: what's a creepy thing a kid said to you?
- 26:44Speaker 16: Yeah, I was at a park, and this little boy
- 26:48Speaker 16: ran up to me, and he said, Hey, I know you.
- 26:52Speaker 16: And I said, Oh, you do?
- 26:54Speaker 12: And he said, Yeah, you have two older brothers.
- 26:57Speaker 22: And three dogs.
- 26:58Speaker 8: And a cat.
- 27:00Speaker 16: And I looked at him, and I said, Uh... how
- 27:02Speaker 16: do you know that? And he said, I don't know.
- 27:05Speaker 16: And he said, and your.
- 27:06Speaker 20: Little dog is black.
- 27:09Speaker 16: And he went about his day.
- 27:11Speaker 10: And all those things are true?
- 27:12Speaker 16: Yeah, all of them.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 12: I have two older brothers.
- 27:16Speaker 16: I have three dogs and a cat. I have two
- 27:19Speaker 16: big dogs and my littlest dog, he's black.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Wow. Is that kid your son?
- 27:28Speaker 12: No, I have never seen this kid in my life.
- 27:32Speaker 12: He just approached me.
- 27:34Speaker 16: At the park. I was pregnant with my daughter, and
- 27:37Speaker 16: I was sitting at the bench.
- 27:38Speaker 12: I had no idea who he was. He just came
- 27:40Speaker 12: up to me out of the blue.
- 27:41Speaker 16: I didn't know his parents. I knew nothing about him.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Oh, that's pretty creepy. That is very creepy. Thanks, Cheyenne.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 27:49Speaker 15: You're welcome, and I'm a huge fan.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Hi, everybody.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Hi.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Thanks, Cheyenne.
- 27:53Speaker 12: I've been listening for like 16 years, and.
- 27:56Speaker 16: I'm low-key fangirling right now, and I'm trying to keep
- 27:58Speaker 16: my cool.
- 28:00Speaker 5: We can psychic you, too. How did you enjoy your
- 28:03Speaker 5: side of broccoli for dinner last night?
- 28:06Speaker 16: All right, listen. My girls love broccoli.
- 28:09Speaker 12: If I steam broccoli, they will just grab it off
- 28:12Speaker 12: a plate and walk.
- 28:13Speaker 16: Around with it with a fork.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And I'm not lying.
- 28:15Speaker 12: It's the weirdest thing, because.
- 28:17Speaker 16: I'm not really a fan of broccoli.
- 28:19Speaker 2: We can do psychic stuff.
- 28:20Speaker 9: See?
- 28:21Speaker 2: Just did it right there. That's as far as we go.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Just broccoli psychics. All right, Cheyenne. Have a great day.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening.
- 28:26Speaker 8: You guys too.
- 28:28Speaker 20: Thank you.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Hi, Nicole. What's the creepiest thing a kid said to you?
- 28:32Speaker 9: Okay.
- 28:33Speaker 22: Well, it's actually my own five-year-old son.
- 28:36Speaker 23: I really believe that he is possessed.
- 28:39Speaker 22: And I'm actually scared of him.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Seriously.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Okay. What happened?
- 28:44Speaker 23: Well, it was like two days ago. He looked me
- 28:47Speaker 23: dead in the face and.
- 28:47Speaker 27: He said, you're not my real mommy.
- 28:50Speaker 23: My real mommy is the one who lives inside you.
- 28:53Speaker 8: I'm okay.
- 28:57Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 23: And he likes to do these creepy things with these eyes.
- 29:03Speaker 23: They just don't look like his eyes. And when I
- 29:05Speaker 23: ask if he's fine, you know, he swears up and down.
- 29:09Speaker 23: He's okay.
- 29:10Speaker 26: There's nothing wrong with him.
- 29:12Speaker 16: But I don't know.
- 29:13Speaker 23: Tell me why last night I woke up around 3 a.m.,
- 29:16Speaker 23: And he's just standing there, inches away from my face,
- 29:21Speaker 23: and he's staring at me. And then when I ask
- 29:23Speaker 23: him what he's doing, he says, I'm waiting for you
- 29:26Speaker 23: to leave so she can come out.
- 29:29Speaker 10: Uh-uh. Nope.
- 29:32Speaker 4: I locked my door.
- 29:32Speaker 22: I locked my bedroom door after that.
- 29:35Speaker 23: And this morning, he was, like, asking why he thought
- 29:38Speaker 23: a lock would stop him.
- 29:40Speaker 16: Him.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Jeez.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Oh, heck no. What the heck, Nicole?
- 29:44Speaker 10: You need a priest in your house ASAP.
- 29:47Speaker 5: We need to check in on Nicole every now and
- 29:49Speaker 5: then to make sure she's still okay.
- 29:51Speaker 23: Yeah, keep checking on me.
- 29:53Speaker 7: But that's what they say about like when spirits into
- 29:56Speaker 7: your body, like you can tell by the person's eyes.
- 29:59Speaker 8: Like if it looks like.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I've seen it.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:01Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 30:02Speaker 10: You gotta have someone check that out.
- 30:04Speaker 2: But it's your five-year-old. Yeah, that's right. I have so many,
- 30:07Speaker 2: like I don't think I could lock the door while
- 30:10Speaker 2: my five-year-old's on the outside. I think I'd have to
- 30:12Speaker 2: if it were her. That's how creepy it is. I mean,
- 30:14Speaker 2: it is creepy, but dang. Way to go, Nicole. Thanks
- 30:17Speaker 2: for calling in. Yeah, thank you. I mean, she obviously wins, right?
- 30:22Speaker 8: You're like way to go, Nicole. Congratulations on having a
- 30:25Speaker 8: demon child.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Ashley, the creepiest thing a kid said to you. Good morning.
- 30:29Speaker 28: Good morning.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Hi.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Hi.
- 30:31Speaker 28: So my little sister, when she was about three, I
- 30:35Speaker 28: think I was about 11, she was sleeping on our couch.
- 30:38Speaker 28: My dad loved watching scary movies. So when she was sleeping,
- 30:43Speaker 28: I can't remember what movie we were watching, but she
- 30:45Speaker 28: had turned over in her sleep, and she had this
- 30:47Speaker 28: big grin on her face, and she said, I see
- 30:51Speaker 28: dead people.
- 30:52Speaker 10: Like the movie?
- 30:54Speaker 28: Yeah, like The Sixth Sense. But we weren't watching it
- 30:57Speaker 28: at that time, and we all thought she was awake,
- 30:59Speaker 28: so we kept pushing her, but she was completely asleep.
- 31:01Speaker 28: She does not remember doing it or anything.
- 31:03Speaker 2: But has she seen the movie? Has she heard that
- 31:06Speaker 2: phrase before? Or she just said that organically?
- 31:09Speaker 28: She might have heard it, but she wasn't watching it.
- 31:12Speaker 8: That's so creepy to say in your sleep, regardless.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Very creepy. Very creepy. Well, thank you, Ashley. Yeah, of course.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Have a great day. Haley, what's the creepiest thing a
- 31:23Speaker 2: kid has ever said to you?
- 31:25Speaker 26: When I was about seven, I used to tell my parents, like,
- 31:28Speaker 26: I remembered... Living in a different house, like with a
- 31:31Speaker 26: completely different family. But I couldn't exactly remember anything past
- 31:36Speaker 26: my seventh birthday. So I literally cry and beg them
- 31:39Speaker 26: to take me back to this like yellow house with
- 31:42Speaker 26: this red front door. Very specific because I kept telling
- 31:46Speaker 26: my family like they were my family was inside the house.
- 31:51Speaker 27: So years later, my.
- 31:54Speaker 26: Mom brought it up at Thanksgiving, like as a funny story. And,
- 31:56Speaker 26: you know, I was like curious. So I just decided
- 31:59Speaker 26: to Google the address like I used to repeat.
- 32:01Speaker 2: As a kid.
- 32:01Speaker 26: So there's an address too. Not only was this house real,
- 32:06Speaker 26: but I found an old newspaper article about the family
- 32:09Speaker 26: of four who died in this massive house fire like
- 32:13Speaker 26: back in the 80s. And there was a seven-year-old girl
- 32:16Speaker 26: that was a daughter and was one of the victims.
- 32:19Speaker 9: Wow.
- 32:20Speaker 26: That's crazy.
- 32:22Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 2: You think that could be you?
- 32:24Speaker 26: She looked exactly like me. She had the same birthmark
- 32:27Speaker 26: on her face.
- 32:29Speaker 8: Okay?
- 32:31Speaker 14: And there's more.
- 32:31Speaker 3: I can't.
- 32:32Speaker 26: I'm still like, every time I tell this story, my
- 32:34Speaker 26: body gets hot. It's just insane. But the part that
- 32:37Speaker 26: freaks me out is the fire started in her bedroom.
- 32:41Speaker 26: And when I was little, I used to wake up
- 32:44Speaker 26: screaming that my room was on fire.
- 32:45Speaker 7: That's crazy. I mean, that is like giving reincarnation.
- 32:51Speaker 10: Yeah, because it doesn't seem to be any other explanation.
- 32:54Speaker 9: Right.
- 32:54Speaker 7: For you to remember that, because you do hear that
- 32:57Speaker 7: every now and then where it's like kids are saying
- 32:59Speaker 7: that they remember having different lives or remember having families.
- 33:03Speaker 7: But like that, the birthmark is what would trip me out.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Totally.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 26: And when I told my mom this story, she didn't
- 33:09Speaker 26: believe it. And then I had to show her the
- 33:10Speaker 26: receipts and she was like, holy crap.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Yeah. It's insane. So a yellow house with a red door.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Did the house belong to Ronald McDonald?
- 33:21Speaker 26: It's so funny you say that.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:24Speaker 26: No, it was like more of a mustard.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Did it have.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Yellow arches, golden arches outside of this house? because then
- 33:32Speaker 2: the McDonald's had burned down. So the thing that was
- 33:34Speaker 2: on fire was the fry machine? That is way creepy.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So it's funny because we're talking about the creepiest thing
- 33:39Speaker 2: a kid ever said to you, but you are the
- 33:40Speaker 2: creepy kid. Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 26: I am that kid.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I am that kid.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Well, Haley, thank you for calling in. That's one we're
- 33:46Speaker 2: going to think about for a while. That's one for
- 33:47Speaker 2: the books.
- 33:48Speaker 10: There's one for the books.
- 33:49Speaker 2: One for the books, Haley. Thanks for listening.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks, guys.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Hello, good morning. John Jay and Rich, can I help you?
- 33:56Speaker 29: Yeah, I was calling for Scary Sprees.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Is your story really scary?
- 34:03Speaker 29: For me?
- 34:04Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 34:06Speaker 14: It's Carrie.
- 34:07Speaker 2: What's your story? Carrie, like the scary TV show? Okay,
- 34:10Speaker 2: we're in so far. Go ahead.
- 34:12Speaker 29: Yeah, like scary Carrie. So I was in college and
- 34:17Speaker 29: it was around Halloween time and this man kept walking.
- 34:22Speaker 29: I worked at a bank in college and he kept
- 34:24Speaker 29: walking around and he made eye contact with me and
- 34:27Speaker 29: put this one of those scream masks on, came right
- 34:35Speaker 29: to me, had a Ziploc bag that was ripped and
- 34:40Speaker 29: all the money kept falling out. So I'm like panicking.
- 34:44Speaker 29: I like yelled at the guy. He has a gun
- 34:47Speaker 29: to my freaking head. I'm like, can I just give
- 34:50Speaker 29: you my purse? And he's like, just put some money
- 34:53Speaker 29: in the bag, in the bag. And I'm like, fine, dude.
- 34:57Speaker 29: You know, like, Whatever. And it was just God awful.
- 35:02Speaker 29: It messes with you for months.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 27: Get a good bag, dude.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Idiot.
- 35:08Speaker 10: If you're going to.
- 35:11Speaker 29: Like, oh, my God. I was so pissed off at
- 35:13Speaker 29: that that I was just like almost more mad at
- 35:16Speaker 29: that than anything.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Hey, did you ever go to therapy?
- 35:19Speaker 21: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:21Speaker 2: The same thing happened to my mother. She worked at
- 35:23Speaker 2: a check hashing place and she got robbed at gunpoint
- 35:27Speaker 2: and the guys were pretty violent and she ended up
- 35:29Speaker 2: going to therapy forever to deal with it.
- 35:32Speaker 25: It sucks.
- 35:33Speaker 29: I had a Doberman pincher at the time and it
- 35:35Speaker 29: was 115 pounds. And so I felt safe. But at
- 35:39Speaker 29: the same time, I would see her like in the
- 35:41Speaker 29: corner of my eye and just freak out.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's terrible.
- 35:44Speaker 29: The guy got busted, like, a week later, and the
- 35:48Speaker 29: FBI comes, and they show you all these pictures, and
- 35:52Speaker 29: I identified him because I saw him. I mean, he, like,
- 35:55Speaker 29: walked around and, like, was casing the.
- 35:58Speaker 21: Place for a while.
- 35:59Speaker 29: So I got a good look at him, which I'll
- 36:01Speaker 29: never forget. But, like, I got letters for a while
- 36:04Speaker 29: in the mail saying, like, when he would be released
- 36:07Speaker 29: and all this stuff.
- 36:08Speaker 25: Wow.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 36:10Speaker 2: What a scary, that's what I'm talking about. That is
- 36:11Speaker 2: a scary, scary story. I'm glad you called, Carrie. It
- 36:15Speaker 2: does suck.
- 36:16Speaker 29: Hey, I just talked to you guys, I just talked
- 36:17Speaker 29: to you guys a couple weeks ago. I'm the one
- 36:20Speaker 29: that almost, like, died three times from cancer.
- 36:23Speaker 8: Oh my gosh.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Wow, you almost died three times from cancer, and then
- 36:26Speaker 2: you almost died in a bank robbery?
- 36:27Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Right?
- 36:28Speaker 8: Like, what else?
- 36:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 36:30Speaker 10: You're like a very special person. You're meant to be here.
- 36:33Speaker 2: You're supposed to be here, Carrie.
- 36:36Speaker 29: I have some kind of guardian angel.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Oh, for sure. Big time. Are you driving right now?
- 36:39Speaker 1: I am.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be funny if you died in a car
- 36:42Speaker 2: accident right now while you're talking to us?
- 36:43Speaker 10: That would not be funny.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Why would that be funny? Wouldn't that be funny?
- 36:46Speaker 16: It would probably be pretty hilarious.
- 36:49Speaker 15: Traumatizing.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Especially if my.
- 36:54Speaker 29: Kids were listening.
- 36:56Speaker 8: She just took it further.
- 36:58Speaker 10: Hilarious.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Only this time of year, though. Only this time of year.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Be safe, Carrie.
- 37:07Speaker 8: I don't like that energy.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Don't put that out there.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Call us back in a couple weeks. Let us know
- 37:13Speaker 2: that you're still alive. freewheeling fate now.
- 37:15Speaker 13: For sure like i've got stories coming out.
- 37:19Speaker 2: The wazoo you do and we want to hear them
- 37:22Speaker 2: all carrie thanks for listening all right have a great
- 37:24Speaker 2: day i don't.
- 37:25Speaker 19: Know how you found us but i'm so thankful that
- 37:29Speaker 19: you did it's john jay and rich the.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Creepy thing a kid said to you jamie good morning
- 37:38Speaker 2: good morning what's your story jamie.
- 37:43Speaker 27: So when I was a kid, we lived in a
- 37:45Speaker 27: very small town in rural Illinois. And we believed our
- 37:52Speaker 27: house was haunted and weird things happened all the time.
- 37:56Speaker 27: So my mom would jokingly call out to the ghost
- 38:02Speaker 27: who she believed was the man who built the house.
- 38:05Speaker 27: It was about 100 years old. And so she called
- 38:07Speaker 27: him Tony all the time. And she said, Tony, quit
- 38:11Speaker 27: making noise or quit scaring us or whatever. And when
- 38:15Speaker 27: my brother was, I cannot remember, he was maybe four
- 38:18Speaker 27: or five. He came downstairs from his room one day
- 38:23Speaker 27: and told my mom, that man that lives in my
- 38:26Speaker 27: closet wants you to quit calling him Tony.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Your poor mother. She probably wanted to jump through a window.
- 38:38Speaker 22: Yeah, no kidding.
- 38:39Speaker 27: Besides the three of us, and then knowing that Tony's
- 38:42Speaker 27: really George.
- 38:44Speaker 8: That's not my name. Please get it right.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Thanks, Jamie. That's freaky.
- 38:50Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Laurel, good morning.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Laurel.
- 38:57Speaker 14: Hi, good morning. I had a couple things that kids
- 39:01Speaker 14: said to me that I thought were creepy, but I
- 39:03Speaker 14: just heard Tony's story, and I'm not.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Sure.
- 39:08Speaker 14: I was volunteering at the elementary school that my kids
- 39:11Speaker 14: go to school at, and they were doing the vision
- 39:13Speaker 14: and hearing testing. So I had the students come first,
- 39:16Speaker 14: and I had to show them some letters, like, I
- 39:19Speaker 14: don't know, 10 or 12 inches away from their face.
- 39:21Speaker 14: And the first question I had to ask was, do
- 39:23Speaker 14: you wear glasses normally? Like, did you forget them at home?
- 39:26Speaker 14: So I asked a student, do you normally wear glasses? And, like, not.
- 39:30Speaker 14: a second passed, and he looks me in the eye
- 39:32Speaker 14: and says, I only wear them at night because that's
- 39:34Speaker 14: when I hallucinate.
- 39:36Speaker 5: I just jotted that note down and passed him off
- 39:41Speaker 5: to the company.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Sounds like you just signed by.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I didn't know.
- 39:46Speaker 4: What to say about that.
- 39:47Speaker 14: And then the other one was just yesterday at the park,
- 39:50Speaker 14: at our neighborhood park, the Sweet Little Girl. ran up
- 39:53Speaker 14: to me and introduced herself, said her name, and follows
- 39:56Speaker 14: up and says, please don't kidnap me. My mom is
- 39:58Speaker 14: right there.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Oh, my.
- 40:03Speaker 13: Oh, my.
- 40:03Speaker 22: And you walk away and you're like, do kids just
- 40:05Speaker 22: say the darndest things?
- 40:07Speaker 5: There's something going on. Are you giving kidnapping vibes, Laurel?
- 40:11Speaker 2: I know, right? I'm sure they're giving.
- 40:12Speaker 8: A lot of kidnapping lessons at home. You know, stranger danger.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Laurel, there's a text that just came in. We're talking
- 40:18Speaker 2: to you. It says... I was a teacher and a
- 40:20Speaker 2: student said, I hope someone breaks into your house, murders you,
- 40:23Speaker 2: buries you in the backyard and covers you with elephant poop.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 40:27Speaker 9: What?
- 40:27Speaker 22: I would probably call the parents on that one.
- 40:29Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Why elephant? Maybe their parents work at the zoo or something. Laurel,
- 40:33Speaker 2: thanks for calling in.
- 40:34Speaker 25: Wow.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I know.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I know.
- 40:35Speaker 28: Thank you.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Have a good one.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Okay. All this week and up until Halloween, we want
- 40:40Speaker 2: to hear about like, you know, the scariest things that
- 40:42Speaker 2: ever happened to you. An event. Yvette sent me a
- 40:45Speaker 2: DM on Facebook. And I was like, she's got to
- 40:48Speaker 2: tell this. You know, we talk about haunted stuff, but
- 40:51Speaker 2: this is different. Am I right, Yvette?
- 40:54Speaker 8: Yes.
- 40:55Speaker 2: What's your story? What's the scariest thing that's ever happened
- 40:57Speaker 2: to you?
- 40:58Speaker 15: Okay, so I was at the flight on 30th Street
- 41:01Speaker 15: in Thomas, and this was years ago. And I was shopping.
- 41:06Speaker 15: And it was weird because every aisle that I would
- 41:09Speaker 15: end up, I would see the same guy. And so
- 41:12Speaker 15: I started, I was like, I was weirded out, first
- 41:14Speaker 15: of all, because he was giving me like weird vibes.
- 41:17Speaker 15: And I was like on purpose going to like the
- 41:20Speaker 15: opposite side of the store and he would end up
- 41:22Speaker 15: at the same side. So I was like, oh my gosh,
- 41:24Speaker 15: this guy is really following me. So I was freaked out.
- 41:27Speaker 15: So when I went and paid for my groceries, I
- 41:29Speaker 15: asked the guy who was there and he still works there.
- 41:31Speaker 15: I asked him, I'm like, Mark, can you please walk
- 41:33Speaker 15: me out to my car? I said, because I feel
- 41:35Speaker 15: like this.
- 41:35Speaker 18: Man is following me.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I said, I'm really scared.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And he did.
- 41:38Speaker 15: He walked me out to my car, got all my
- 41:41Speaker 15: groceries in. He waited till I drove away and everything.
- 41:44Speaker 15: And like a few days later, I'm watching the news
- 41:47Speaker 15: and I see the guy that was following me at
- 41:50Speaker 15: the fries and he had been arrested because he was
- 41:52Speaker 15: a baseline killer. And he literally lived two blocks down
- 41:56Speaker 15: from the fries.
- 41:58Speaker 10: Oh my gosh. Good thing you had that instinct to get.
- 42:01Speaker 8: Away from him.
- 42:03Speaker 15: Oh my gosh, because he was like, it was just obvious,
- 42:07Speaker 15: you know, like I said, I went to the opposite
- 42:10Speaker 15: side of the story.
- 42:10Speaker 26: I said, if he ends up over there.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I know this guy is following me. And he did.
- 42:14Speaker 15: And I was like, okay, this is creepy.
- 42:17Speaker 5: Aren't you glad? See, all the people that have called
- 42:20Speaker 5: in that have narrowly escaped that were paying attention.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Right.
- 42:23Speaker 8: You got to be aware of your surroundings.
- 42:24Speaker 10: I lack that.
- 42:25Speaker 16: Oh, yes.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Absolutely. Absolutely.
- 42:28Speaker 10: Can't have your head in your phone all the time.
- 42:30Speaker 2: But the baseline killer, was that the one? Wait, was
- 42:31Speaker 2: that the one who was shooting people? What was the
- 42:33Speaker 2: baseline killer?
- 42:37Speaker 15: He was shooting people.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Shooting people on the freeway, right? Wasn't that the one?
- 42:39Speaker 10: Was that the freeway one?
- 42:40Speaker 2: I don't know. I just remember.
- 42:42Speaker 8: I just looked it up.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Let's see. I remember where that was happening.
- 42:45Speaker 8: Okay, he was a serial killer and kidnapper.
- 42:48Speaker 9: Oh.
- 42:49Speaker 7: He murdered nine victims in the Phoenix metro area between
- 42:52Speaker 7: August 2005 and June 2006. He had over 86 felonies.
- 42:58Speaker 7: The term baseline killer was adopted since most, but not
- 43:02Speaker 7: all of his victims were found along Baseline Road.
- 43:04Speaker 2: So what were you like? I was on Thomas. I
- 43:07Speaker 2: was on a baseline. Maybe he was a Thomas killer.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Get your shit together. It doesn't sound the same.
- 43:11Speaker 15: I was telling my friend this story the other day,
- 43:13Speaker 15: and she was telling me how her friend... how that
- 43:16Speaker 15: was her and her friend's daughter was married to this guy.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Jeez.
- 43:20Speaker 15: And she, she, she was going to school at the
- 43:23Speaker 15: time and she even stopped going to school because she
- 43:25Speaker 15: was just so embarrassed of what was going on and
- 43:28Speaker 15: that she had no clue what her husband was doing.
- 43:31Speaker 10: That's wild.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I know you bet. Thanks for calling in. That's very scary.
- 43:34Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. Like that's, I don't really remember.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I remember the Bayside Killer, but boy, I obviously got
- 43:41Speaker 2: it confused because if he was going in and killing
- 43:43Speaker 2: people and kidnapping people, I feel like we would have
- 43:45Speaker 2: been a little bit more aware of that.
- 43:46Speaker 8: It says he's on death row, like awaiting execution.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Jill, you got a scary story?
- 43:52Speaker 17: Yeah, it's pretty creepy.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Okay, what happened?
- 43:58Speaker 17: All right, so 2005, I was working.
- 44:02Speaker 25: I'm a chef, so I was working at a local restaurant,
- 44:06Speaker 25: and I was working doubles every day. And in the evening,
- 44:10Speaker 25: I was going and working another job at a local
- 44:15Speaker 25: mortuary doing catering on the side. And one night, it
- 44:21Speaker 25: was close to the holidays. I had gone in, and
- 44:25Speaker 25: there were people there earlier that had been having.
- 44:29Speaker 24: A morning meeting.
- 44:30Speaker 25: And I.
- 44:32Speaker 20: And I.
- 44:37Speaker 4: They left.
- 44:37Speaker 25: I made cookies and stuff, and they had stories and
- 44:40Speaker 25: things in the other room, which I wasn't really.
- 44:43Speaker 22: Paying attention to.
- 44:45Speaker 25: And then it was about 11 o'clock at night, and
- 44:48Speaker 25: I was making some trays for the events, and all
- 44:55Speaker 25: of a sudden I heard.
- 44:58Speaker 25: And I looked over my shoulder to see if there
- 45:00Speaker 25: was anybody there, and I ignored it, and then... I
- 45:04Speaker 25: looked over my other shoulder because I heard it again.
- 45:06Speaker 25: And then all of a sudden, it was like a
- 45:09Speaker 25: press conference, like everybody shouting at me. And I ran
- 45:15Speaker 25: out of the place and ran to a pay phone
- 45:18Speaker 25: to call a friend to come down there with me.
- 45:20Speaker 25: And a couple months later, I had gone to talk
- 45:26Speaker 25: to an angel guide, and she said I accidentally channeled
- 45:29Speaker 25: all the spirits.
- 45:31Speaker 2: That were in the mortuary?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Like, so people, like, on ice and, like, waiting to
- 45:37Speaker 2: get buried?
- 45:38Speaker 20: Yeah, she said that, like, they came to me and
- 45:41Speaker 20: they noticed that, like, I could hear them. And then
- 45:47Speaker 20: when they noticed I could hear them, all of them
- 45:49Speaker 20: rushed to me.
- 45:50Speaker 17: And then she said, would you like to do this? Like,
- 45:54Speaker 17: start doing this professionally?
- 45:55Speaker 28: I was like, oh, no, no way.
- 45:57Speaker 16: Nope.
- 45:57Speaker 2: So you're in an empty mortuary at 11 o'clock at
- 46:00Speaker 2: night and you're hearing all these whispers and it turns
- 46:02Speaker 2: out it was a bunch of spirits talking to you.
- 46:05Speaker 10: They're trying to recruit you.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:06Speaker 2: They want to know what that cookie recipe was. These
- 46:09Speaker 2: cookies are fabulous.
- 46:11Speaker 17: You could hear them and they wanted to talk to
- 46:13Speaker 17: you and I was like, oh no, nope. I'm not
- 46:16Speaker 17: comfortable with that.
- 46:16Speaker 8: But I mean, she obviously, the angel guy thought.
- 46:19Speaker 7: You had a gift though if spirits were coming to
- 46:22Speaker 7: you for you to.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Do that professionally.
- 46:23Speaker 17: That's not a gift I want.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it. Making good cookies is a way
- 46:27Speaker 2: better gift. Are these Toll House? This is crazy.
- 46:31Speaker 20: Yeah, no, it was not a gift I was interested in.
- 46:35Speaker 2: You know, I kind of feel like you were guided
- 46:37Speaker 2: that way because who in God's name would take a
- 46:39Speaker 2: job at a mortuary at 11 o'clock at night? Making
- 46:42Speaker 2: cheese trays? That is crazy.
- 46:46Speaker 25: It was a great job, but yeah, I was not
- 46:50Speaker 25: interested in doing that whatsoever, but it was pretty cool.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Are you still chefing?
- 46:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Where?
- 46:57Speaker 17: I'm in the Valley now, but at the time I
- 47:01Speaker 17: was in the snow County area.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Are you right now in one restaurant or are you catering?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Are you doing stuff?
- 47:07Speaker 17: No, I'm working corporate now.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Cause that'd be kind of cool. Like to, to find
- 47:10Speaker 2: you and have the, you know, and whisper in her ear. Yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Just be like, Hey man, there's a, there's a chef
- 47:15Speaker 2: that talks to dead people. Joe, I'm glad you called.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 47:24Speaker 17: Thank you.
- 47:24Speaker 9: Bye.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Bye.
- 47:25Speaker 2: We're going to play Minute to Win It, so we
- 47:26Speaker 2: do need a contestant at 877-937-1047. Also, speaking of talking
- 47:31Speaker 2: to spirits, we're going to have a real witch, Wendy
- 47:35Speaker 2: the Witch, on after Minute to Win It, and she
- 47:37Speaker 2: can break curses. I don't know if she can make curses,
- 47:40Speaker 2: but Kyle's had some freaky stuff going on, so she's
- 47:43Speaker 2: going to talk about that. We have ghost people that
- 47:45Speaker 2: sent us pictures. We're going to run those by her.
- 47:48Speaker 2: If you want to know if your family's cursed and
- 47:50Speaker 2: you want to know how to get rid of it,
- 47:51Speaker 2: Wendy the Witch will be on in probably five minutes.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But Cindy, good morning.
- 47:57Speaker 21: Good morning.
- 47:58Speaker 2: So who did you see?
- 48:00Speaker 21: I actually, well, my sister and my aunt and myself
- 48:06Speaker 21: actually seen the Yorona one morning when we were younger
- 48:09Speaker 21: and on our way to school.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Younger, that's how it is. That's how it always is.
- 48:15Speaker 21: I think we were like in sixth grade and we
- 48:17Speaker 21: were told not to take a shortcut through the river bottom.
- 48:21Speaker 21: Because that's where the Llorona hangs out. And for those
- 48:23Speaker 21: of you who don't know the Llorona, it's apparently a
- 48:26Speaker 21: scary lady that drowned her children in the river bottom.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Because she was despondent that her husband cheated on her, right?
- 48:33Speaker 1: You know what?
- 48:35Speaker 21: I honestly don't have a chance to talk to her
- 48:37Speaker 21: because we ran home.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well, that's good. Yeah, don't stop and ask. Let
- 48:43Speaker 2: me work out this deep narrative. Yeah, I get that.
- 48:48Speaker 21: But But to see a grown lady in a white
- 48:52Speaker 21: gown with no legs floating across the river bottom, and
- 48:55Speaker 21: mind you, it's in the morning, so it's not dark.
- 48:58Speaker 21: It literally scared us.
- 49:01Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 21: We never crossed again.
- 49:02Speaker 2: What city was it in?
- 49:05Speaker 21: It was here in Phoenix. Right off of 16th Street
- 49:08Speaker 21: and just past the freeway on the 10th.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Oh, that's right by one of my favorite taco stands.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Makes sense. Well, thank you, Cindy. I'm glad you're okay.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 49:19Speaker 2: For calling in.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 49:21Speaker 21: I'm definitely okay. I never took a shortcut again. I
- 49:23Speaker 21: love my life.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Thanks a lot.
- 49:27Speaker 28: Thank you.
- 49:28Speaker 21: Have a great day, you all.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You know, I was getting confused, the baseline killer with
- 49:31Speaker 2: the serial, the freeway shooter. Yeah. And now I remember,
- 49:35Speaker 2: the baseline killer and the serial shooter were at the
- 49:37Speaker 2: same time.
- 49:39Speaker 10: Oh, that's why it's confusing in your memory.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Dale Hausner. Oh, yeah. Samuel Deitman. It was a scary time.
- 49:45Speaker 2: She says, I cared for the baseline killer's sister.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Wow.
- 49:50Speaker 2: She spells serial like the food. Like a bowl of cereal.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Maybe that's, maybe that's somebody at the, like the hospital,
- 49:56Speaker 2: just like rocks through some frosted flakes.
- 49:58Speaker 8: It could have been talk, talk to text.
- 50:01Speaker 2: I don't know if it's talk to text. It's talk
- 50:03Speaker 2: to text. I did a talk to text. I'm starting
- 50:06Speaker 2: to talk to text a lot now. And when I
- 50:08Speaker 2: talked to text, I got to the point where I
- 50:09Speaker 2: was talking to text and then I would go back
- 50:12Speaker 2: in and correct it before I sent it. But now talk,
- 50:14Speaker 2: I just do talk to text sometimes just hit send
- 50:17Speaker 2: and you look at it and it's so stupid. Also,
- 50:20Speaker 2: I was talking to text and my doctor's name is Carrie.
- 50:23Speaker 2: And I brought up Carrie's name three different times. And
- 50:26Speaker 2: it's spelled Carrie three different ways in the same text.
- 50:28Speaker 10: Oh, that's weird.
- 50:29Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 2: C-A-R-E-Y, which is rare. Then K-E-R-R-Y. And then C-A-R-R-I-E. What
- 50:35Speaker 2: gives talk to text? Just to really spread it around.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I didn't say it differently.
- 50:40Speaker 11: I wonder if your talk to text is like, let's
- 50:41Speaker 11: see if he's even paying attention.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 50:43Speaker 2: And he knows I mumble too much. I need to
- 50:45Speaker 2: enunciate better. All right, we got a minute to win
- 50:47Speaker 2: $ 1, 000 of Pat Hickey's money. What's up, Stephanie?
- 50:50Speaker 28: Hey, good morning.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Where are you, Steph?
- 50:54Speaker 15: I am in Gilbert.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Give us a little fun fact about yourself besides the
- 50:58Speaker 2: fact that you're in Gilbert, which is fun.
- 51:02Speaker 20: My favorite pastime hobby has been playing Pokemon Go.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Oh, that's good.
- 51:07Speaker 8: Getting your steps in, too.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good. All right, that's a great one. Okay,
- 51:10Speaker 2: let's do it.
- 51:11Speaker 11: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 51:14Speaker 11: Peoria Ford right now.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Minute to win it.
- 51:18Speaker 5: Okay, here we go. Steph, 60 seconds on the clock.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Get all 10 questions right. You win $ 1, 000.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Rapper Jay-Z, Stephanie, is in charge of picking Super Bowl
- 51:29Speaker 5: halftime acts. Who has he picked to perform at this
- 51:32Speaker 5: year's Super Bowl?
- 51:35Speaker 28: Ooh, this year's Super Bowl?
- 51:36Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 51:37Speaker 2: This one coming up. Ooh.
- 51:40Speaker 20: Um.
- 51:42Speaker 15: Oh, my gosh. Himself.
- 51:46Speaker 2: That is correct.
- 51:46Speaker 5: What actor played Jason Bourne in a 2002 movie, The
- 51:49Speaker 5: Bourne Identity? The Bourne Identity? Who played Jason Bourne?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Jason Bourne.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 52:02Speaker 15: Matt Damon.
- 52:04Speaker 2: What type of pepper is smoked and dried to make chipotle?
- 52:11Speaker 14: Pepper, smoked and dried.
- 52:13Speaker 27: To make Chipotle.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Wow, this is a lot harder.
- 52:18Speaker 21: Jalapenos?
- 52:21Speaker 2: Which U.S. state is nicknamed the show-me state?
- 52:25Speaker 28: The show-me state?
- 52:27Speaker 2: Show-me state.
- 52:28Speaker 15: Oh, the show-me.
- 52:29Speaker 25: The show-me state.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 52:32Speaker 16: Missouri.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Missouri.
- 52:36Speaker 5: Missouri is correct. You got four right, but you were
- 52:38Speaker 5: a little too slow on that one. Had to get
- 52:40Speaker 5: those a little faster to get the thousand bucks.
- 52:43Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 52:44Speaker 12: That was fine.
- 52:46Speaker 2: All right, we're going to set you up with a
- 52:48Speaker 2: Del Taco gift card, Stephanie. Thanks for listening.
- 52:51Speaker 10: Thank you, guys.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Drive safe. All right, you guys. She's been on our
- 52:55Speaker 2: show before. She was amazing. We have Wendy the Witch
- 52:59Speaker 2: on the line. Good morning, Wendy the Witch. How are you?
- 53:04Speaker 17: Good morning. I'm doing great.
- 53:06Speaker 28: Thank you.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Uh, we have a lot of stuff to get to
- 53:09Speaker 2: with you. We want to get into what happened with Kyle,
- 53:11Speaker 2: but this started that we wanted to get you on
- 53:13Speaker 2: because I think it was of Javier, right? Was Javier
- 53:14Speaker 2: the one that had, he lived in a house. Well,
- 53:17Speaker 2: he could tell the story. Let's see. Uh, Javier, good morning.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Good morning. How are you guys?
- 53:22Speaker 15: Good.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Hey, can you say hi to Wendy the witch and
- 53:23Speaker 2: tell her your situation, please? But a quick version. We
- 53:26Speaker 2: don't have all day to listen to you. It was like,
- 53:27Speaker 2: it was a long story.
- 53:28Speaker 9: Go ahead.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Go ahead. Morning.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Wendy the witch. Um, So basically, since I was a kid,
- 53:34Speaker 3: almost every single house I've moved to, like from city
- 53:37Speaker 3: to city, I've had this weird feeling when I'm going
- 53:39Speaker 3: to bed. And then I wake up in the morning
- 53:42Speaker 3: and there's like this huge crack in the window. And
- 53:44Speaker 3: like I said, it's been happening since I was a kid.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Went from Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, back to Tempe.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Now I have my house.
- 53:52Speaker 3: So far, so good, but I'm pretty sure talking about
- 53:54Speaker 3: it is probably going to make it come out, so.
- 53:57Speaker 2: A little worried.
- 53:58Speaker 5: Do you feel a presence in the room or outside
- 54:00Speaker 5: of the room trying to get in, and then you
- 54:02Speaker 5: wake up and you see a window cracked?
- 54:05Speaker 3: It's just a weird presence when I'm laying in bed
- 54:07Speaker 3: about to go to sleep, and it's never necessarily been
- 54:11Speaker 3: next to the window. My bed's never been next to
- 54:13Speaker 3: the window, but I can just kind of feel it,
- 54:15Speaker 3: and then the next morning, like, oh, there's a giant
- 54:17Speaker 3: crack in the window.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Cool. All right, Wendy, your vibes?
- 54:22Speaker 4: So what is breaking? Is it mirrors or windows?
- 54:25Speaker 2: Windows.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Windows.
- 54:28Speaker 13: Interesting.
- 54:28Speaker 4: So one of the things that I am feeling for
- 54:35Speaker 4: you is that you probably are carrying something since you
- 54:41Speaker 4: were a child. And I've been around before, so please
- 54:44Speaker 4: sit with this one. But I would recommend that you
- 54:46Speaker 4: do a spiritual cleansing on yourself because if it's following
- 54:49Speaker 4: you from one place to another... It's going to continue
- 54:53Speaker 4: to follow you until you release it. I will recommend
- 54:57Speaker 4: you that you also just allow yourself to release whatever
- 55:01Speaker 4: it is that you are attached to. It doesn't necessarily
- 55:04Speaker 4: mean that it's something bad, but it is connected to
- 55:07Speaker 4: you somehow. So I would actually think it may be
- 55:11Speaker 4: from your family line. So it will not surprise me
- 55:14Speaker 4: if somebody from your ancestry was also feeling something similar.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Oh, interesting. Very interesting. So it's like a family curse. Well,
- 55:23Speaker 2: hopefully you didn't rewake it by bringing it up.
- 55:25Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Right. Let us know if it happens again. Yeah.
- 55:28Speaker 10: Windows can be expensive.
- 55:29Speaker 8: Right.
- 55:30Speaker 7: And if it does happen, that's how you know you
- 55:32Speaker 7: need that.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Javier, thanks for calling. Hey, Wendy, a couple of things.
- 55:36Speaker 2: So we have Wendy on the Wendy the witch. She's
- 55:38Speaker 2: a real witch, like real.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:41Speaker 2: From five generations of witches. Yesterday, Wendy, we had a
- 55:44Speaker 2: phone call from somebody. And today, a phone call from somebody.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Both saw La Llorona in two different places. One in McAllen, Texas.
- 55:52Speaker 2: One in Phoenix, Arizona. I remember my aunt telling me
- 55:56Speaker 2: that they saw it in Mexico. And I was just
- 55:59Speaker 2: curious how real La Llorona is and what do you
- 56:01Speaker 2: know about La Llorona?
- 56:04Speaker 4: Oh, La Llorona. I think if you ask any Mexican
- 56:08Speaker 4: about La Llorona, we all believe that it's real. And
- 56:10Speaker 4: it is not just tied to a region. It is
- 56:13Speaker 4: a spirit that transcends space. So it is very possible
- 56:17Speaker 4: that it was seen in Texas.
- 56:18Speaker 12: I've seen La.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Llorona in Mexico. I saw her in Coahuila. I also
- 56:22Speaker 4: saw her in Tamaulipas. Family members have also seen La Llorona.
- 56:26Speaker 4: So I absolutely believe on her. I think the part that...
- 56:30Speaker 4: it's not for sure, is that we don't know exactly
- 56:33Speaker 4: why she's.
- 56:33Speaker 26: Showing up, right?
- 56:34Speaker 4: Some people say that it's because she lost her kids.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Some people say that it's because she was betrayed. Some
- 56:39Speaker 4: other people say that she's a teacher or she's a demon.
- 56:43Speaker 4: She has definitely a lot of names to her, but
- 56:46Speaker 4: she shows up. She definitely shows up.
- 56:50Speaker 2: And what's the.
- 56:51Speaker 5: When people say she shows up, what is it that
- 56:53Speaker 5: she wants or what is it that she does?
- 56:58Speaker 1: Um.
- 56:59Speaker 4: usually you feel really cold when you experience her.
- 57:03Speaker 15: And I have.
- 57:04Speaker 4: Never heard anybody being directly attacked by La Llorona. I
- 57:09Speaker 4: have heard people seeing her. So I have a theory
- 57:13Speaker 4: and my theory is that she is absorbing a little
- 57:16Speaker 4: bit of the life force of the people that she's
- 57:19Speaker 4: showing up to so that she can continue to move
- 57:22Speaker 4: through spaces. But that's my personal theory.
- 57:24Speaker 2: Okay. Thank you.
- 57:26Speaker 4: So it's a little bit of an absorber of energy.
- 57:29Speaker 2: We have Raymond on the line. Did Raymond send us
- 57:32Speaker 2: a picture also? He did? Okay, good morning, Raymond. Good morning.
- 57:36Speaker 2: What'd you send us? What's your ghost story?
- 57:39Speaker 18: So, about five, six years ago or so, my wife had,
- 57:43Speaker 18: we had bought an address for my son off Facebook Marketplace. So,
- 57:47Speaker 18: you know, she sent it, painted it, whatnot. So, she
- 57:49Speaker 18: thought of it, she took a picture of it. A
- 57:51Speaker 18: couple years later, my little daughter was messing with her
- 57:54Speaker 18: phone and found the picture and was, Mommy, who's this
- 57:56Speaker 18: little boy in the window? And I'm like, You enlarge it,
- 57:59Speaker 18: and you see this little boy's face in the window.
- 58:02Speaker 18: There was nobody in that room at that time, and
- 58:05Speaker 18: we have no idea who.
- 58:06Speaker 1: This little boy is.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Where's that picture? Is it on our Facebook? Where is it?
- 58:11Speaker 18: Yeah, I posted it on the Facebook page the other day.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Okay, I'm looking. If you go to John D. Rich
- 58:15Speaker 2: on Facebook, I'm looking for it. Do we send it
- 58:17Speaker 2: to Wendy? Does Wendy see it?
- 58:19Speaker 4: I just received it.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 58:22Speaker 15: Yeah, I can see.
- 58:22Speaker 4: I can definitely see a face here. Is this your house?
- 58:26Speaker 18: Yes, that is in our basement.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Okay, have you seen it again, or was it just
- 58:31Speaker 4: one time?
- 58:32Speaker 2: Oh, hell no. Hell no. I'm afraid to look. Hell no.
- 58:38Speaker 2: I don't want to look. I don't want to get
- 58:39Speaker 2: none on me. He's going to be like, Raymond, get.
- 58:40Speaker 11: Out of the house.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Oh, hell no. I mean, no.
- 58:44Speaker 10: That's for sure a little boy.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Look at this.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Oh, my.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Where do we have it posted? If
- 58:53Speaker 2: you go to John Jay Ridge Facebook and you just
- 58:55Speaker 2: say Raymond, it's Raymond's post.
- 58:57Speaker 10: Oh, my gosh. It was probably his dresser.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Hell no, dude. Okay, I'm sorry. Go ahead, Wendy. Your
- 59:01Speaker 2: thoughts on that?
- 59:02Speaker 4: I was just going to say, if you saw it
- 59:06Speaker 4: one time, I don't think that you need to worry
- 59:08Speaker 4: about it too much. If you see it several times,
- 59:10Speaker 4: then you have a problem. But sometimes, spirits are just
- 59:13Speaker 4: passing by.
- 59:15Speaker 8: They're just stopping in for a photo bomb.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Oh, this is a scary-looking spirit. This kid, I mean,
- 59:19Speaker 2: this is a.
- 59:20Speaker 16: Hell of a.
- 59:20Speaker 8: That kid's like, why are you using my dresser?
- 59:23Speaker 18: Yeah, well, the year before we bought that house, the
- 59:27Speaker 18: previous owner did. unalive himself down there.
- 59:31Speaker 8: Oh no but that was like a.
- 59:33Speaker 18: Baby some other people I've talked to with the paranormal
- 59:38Speaker 18: yeah some other people I've talked to with the paranormal
- 59:40Speaker 18: stuff they have mentioned maybe it was him as a
- 59:43Speaker 18: younger child so we did do some research and found
- 59:46Speaker 18: some pictures of that gentleman when he was little and
- 59:49Speaker 18: it does have a.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Very dang dude get rid of that dresser that's why
- 59:55Speaker 2: you gotta buy stuff new Whenever you can.
- 59:58Speaker 18: Yeah, that's what we do now. We don't buy nothing else.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I'd go to Ikea.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: All right, Raymond. You're cleansed before you bring it in. Yeah. Oh,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: I guess that's good, too.
- 1:00:09Speaker 19: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: We have Wendy the witch on the line. She's a
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: fifth generation witch. 877-937-1047.
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: You can ask her anything.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I got a text about the picture on Facebook and
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: this person says, you guys are lying. I'm on your Facebook.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: I don't see pictures. There are, you scroll down and
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: we posted on October 19th. It says, you want to see,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: we want to see your scariest ghost pictures. And there
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: are some of the freakiest pictures on here that are
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: so disturbing. Anyway, that's our Facebook and we're going to
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: post them on Instagram too. So you can see them
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: on Instagram. They're on Instagram now. Okay, good. So good. Good.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Go to John J.
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: Rich.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Go to Instagram. Um, Wendy, good morning.
- 1:00:57Speaker 11: Hello.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: For people that want to get a hold of you,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: is there a website to reach out to you? Is
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: it wendythewitch.com?
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: No, but maybe I should buy that.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Bruja.us. B-R-U-J-A.us.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Let's get into Kyle's situation. Kyle, what was your situation?
- 1:01:15Speaker 11: So it was my son basically was freaked out to
- 1:01:19Speaker 11: sleep in his own room. And so one night I
- 1:01:22Speaker 11: actually was like, well, let's see what's so scary. And
- 1:01:24Speaker 11: I went in and I had an experience with what
- 1:01:26Speaker 11: I can only say was definitely a demon.
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: And it was like coming out of his bathroom. It
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: was pretty terrifying, actually. And so I was like, you
- 1:01:35Speaker 10: don't have to sleep in your room anymore.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: And he hasn't since then.
- 1:01:38Speaker 10: No, he has not.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: And so we sent a picture of Kyle's bathroom to Wendy. Wendy?
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Oh, I'm here. So I do see something in this bathroom.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I see a very angry, but also very sad male spirit.
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: And it doesn't feel like a spirit that was in
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: the house. It feels like a spirit that you guys
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: picked from somewhere.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: How do you do that?
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: And why would he be in my son's bathroom?
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: I don't necessarily think that it's... because it's your son's bathroom,
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: it's because that space, that bathroom, feels like it's a
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: very stagnant space. Is there any windows in it?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: No.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: Yeah, so energy accumulates in the areas where there's no circulation.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: So my recommendation will be that you either bring some light,
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: I will burn some tobacco, and some garlic in that space,
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: and I will ask that spirit to just get the
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: F out of your house.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Because you don't want... Did you say.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: You said something to me in the text when I
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: sent you the picture that the ghost wants their life.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: So sometimes spirits are there because they're angry, and sometimes
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: spirits are there because they lodge or they want the
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: life of the people living in spaces.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: So this feels like it's somebody that wants to have
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: your life.
- 1:03:09Speaker 15: In a way.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: I am not necessarily saying that it's going to take
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: over your life, but some of the spirits, they didn't
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: live the life that they wanted. And when they see
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: a life they want, they can stay there until you
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: release them. And that's how it feels to me when
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: I'm sitting in the picture.
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: I might do that when I die.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to stake out in
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: someone's life. Kyle, how old is Easton?
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: He's nine.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: He's nine. Is it better for Kyle to say, hey, ghost,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: get the F out of my house, or should she
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: have her nine-year-old say.
- 1:03:40Speaker 14: It?
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: I think that her, as a mother, she'll bring all
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: the mama bear energy. Sorry, Easton.
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: I believe that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: To have Kyle be like, okay, Easton, here's what I
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: need you to say. This is the one time you
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: have the right to say this as loud as you
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: can and point the ball.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: And more importantly, how does Kyle and her family keep
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: from anything attaching themselves to them when they're out and about?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: So do you.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Remember when did you get there? Is it related to
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: a hospital or cemetery or church? Because usually those are
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: the places that there's a lot of attachments with.
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: I don't know because I'm not really sure like exactly.
- 1:04:15Speaker 11: I don't think I can pinpoint exactly when he started
- 1:04:18Speaker 11: getting like the nightmares. He's never really enjoyed sleeping in
- 1:04:21Speaker 11: his room.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: You know, can I bring up something else that you
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: brought up in the past? Why don't you tell her
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: about what your daughter said when you passed the cemetery?
- 1:04:27Speaker 10: Oh, that's right. But that was a lot. That was
- 1:04:29Speaker 10: a lot.
- 1:04:29Speaker 11: So my daughter was, I think, I think she was
- 1:04:33Speaker 11: four or five years old.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Were you in that house?
- 1:04:35Speaker 11: No, we were in a different house and we were
- 1:04:36Speaker 11: driving past a cemetery. She goes, look, mommy, that's where
- 1:04:39Speaker 11: you die. And I was like, oh, yeah, no, that
- 1:04:42Speaker 11: is where people go when they pass away.
- 1:04:45Speaker 10: And she's like, no, that's where you die.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: I was like, okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: Hey, kids are very, very sensitive when they see things
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: that we forgot to see. But I will recommend that
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: you do a closing in your house. But more than anything,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: it feels like it's a situation of empowerment and sovereignty.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: You have to go with that energy of you guys
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: are not allowed here. Thank you for coming and visiting,
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: but this is not the space.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: F off.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: I feel like.
- 1:05:09Speaker 16: That's the energy.
- 1:05:09Speaker 8: You have to be aggressive, Kyle.
- 1:05:11Speaker 28: Wow.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, be aggressive.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: And I'm going to say something. I don't know if
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: it fits or not.
- 1:05:17Speaker 15: I've never met you.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: But usually these kind of encounters are a lesson for
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: us to tap into that energy. So it may be
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: that in your life, you may also be needing to
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: say this to people or to circumstances so that this
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: is kind of like giving you the lesson. This is
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: the kind of energy that you need to have so
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: that you push away from your life the things that.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: You don't want. Are you saying like a spiritual boundary
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: kind of thing? What are you saying?
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: I was going to say, yeah, it's like translating to
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: real life.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: It is translating to the real life. That's what I feel.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I've been wrong before, but that's what I feel when
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: I see the picture. It's one of those circumstances that
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: something in life is translating to your physical space. And
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: the thing is, it usually shows through our kids because
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: our kids are very sensitive and they haven't shut down
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: their spiritual senses yet. But you do have the opportunity
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: to remind your son that also he's allowed to tell
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: them to go. And I will just do something symbolic
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: in his room, like some sort of cleansing so that
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: he feels that you guys are taking action. But I
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: feel more like you are the one that has to
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: step into that energy of.
- 1:06:22Speaker 27: The warrior and be like, nope, not anymore.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: It is here.
- 1:06:26Speaker 10: Not in my house.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: Does Ethan like think that there's a spirit in there?
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: What does he not know?
- 1:06:31Speaker 10: He used to call it a Bubba Bear.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Well, that sounds friendly.
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: I saw Bubba Bear in my bathroom again.
- 1:06:37Speaker 10: Get the F out, Bubba Bear!
- 1:06:39Speaker 11: He called it that because it was like this character
- 1:06:41Speaker 11: we saw on TV one time and it was like
- 1:06:43Speaker 11: a dark figure.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: There is a ghost in Easton's bathroom. An evil spirit.
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: Angry and sad, apparently.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Probably very constipated.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Okay, Wendy.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Wendy the Witch. Again, what is the website? Bruja.us. Bruja.us, right?
- 1:07:03Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Okay. Thank you for jumping on our show. You were awesome.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Really appreciate it.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: It was a lot of fun. Thank you, Wendy. So
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: much going on this morning. I mean, Wendy the Witch.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: You know, we're going to pay your bills. We also
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: got Doja Cat tickets a little bit. It's back to
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: the future day. Lots happening on this radio program. Hey, Nick, Nick,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I want to play a little game with you. Can I?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Can I play a little game with you? Okay. Today,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: as we all know, about two hours ago, Rich, let
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: us know, today's a very special day. Did you forget
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: what day it is? Of course not. Great, stop. If
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: my calculations are correct, it is now precisely October 21st.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: It's October 21st. October 21st. It's October 21st!
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: Back to the Future Day.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I'm from the future.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: The future has finally arrived.
- 1:07:55Speaker 19: Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: We're taking a trip.
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: Where?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Back to the future. It's so hard. It's Back to
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: the Future Day. I have some Back to the Future trivia.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: And I know that Nick is a huge Back to
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: the Future guy, but Nick, you can't look at my screen.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: You got to turn around. Okay, fine. Only look at Kyle.
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: Fair enough.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Only look at Kyle. Nice. I think most of us
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: will get these, but I think there's a couple of
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: hard ones. So I'm going to throw out the easy ones,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: but when it gets to the hard ones, Nick, don't
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: answer right away.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: You probably know them because I want to see them
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: in a bit of a close-up.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: What year did the original Back to the Future movie
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: come out? Anyone know? No one know?
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: 85.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Nick? 85.
- 1:08:30Speaker 12: 85.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: What kind of car did Doc Brown have? DeLorean.
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: Oh, yeah, that one.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: DeLorean, okay. That one, as Peyton said. Okay, Rich, you
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: can't answer either, okay?
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: I've never seen this movie.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: What's the name of the actor who played Marty McFly?
- 1:08:45Speaker 10: Michael J.
- 1:08:45Speaker 21: Fox.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Michael J.
- 1:08:46Speaker 25: Fox.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: What actor played Doc Brown? Nick? Christopher Lloyd. Okay, here's
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: a hard one. Don't answer this one, Nick. Rick, maybe
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: see if you know this one. What was the name
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: of the dog that was sent one minute into the
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: future in the original Back to the Future?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Fetch.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: Baxter.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: Nope.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Nick, do you know? Yeah.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: What?
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Einstein. Well done. Well done. Thank you. Okay, here's a
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: tough one. This isn't really about the movie, but more
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: about the making of the movie, and I know the
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: answer to this. Name the actor who originally was cast
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: to play Marty McFly. Charlie Sheen.
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: Nope.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I knew you were going to ask this question. You
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: don't know this question.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: I knew you were going to ask this question because
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: they filmed two-thirds of the movie.
- 1:09:32Speaker 19: With somebody that wasn't Michael J.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Fox.
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: Oh, I feel like I know this.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: What do you got?
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: Is it the guy that played the Karate Kid?
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: No.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Ralph Macchio?
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: Same era.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: That would have been good. He's an actor by the
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: name of Eric Stoltz. That's right. He's a red-headed actor.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Is he around?
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Have you seen any of the scenes? Parts of it.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: It's really weird. He chose a real dark turn. What
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: speed does the DeLorean need to reach to travel through time?
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Anybody know? Not you, Nick.
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: 100 million miles.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Nope. Isn't it 88?
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: Nick?
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: It's 88 miles per hour. 88 miles per hour.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: To go to the future?
- 1:10:07Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: We have to have the flux capacitor. We got that
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: on the 101. Peyton does that in our parking lot.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: Literally every morning.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: What is the exact amount of electricity needed by the
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: flux capacitor in the DeLorean time machine to enable time travel? Nick,
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: don't answer. 12 volts. Rich, do you know? It's something gigawatts.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: I'm going to say a million gigawatts. Nope. Nick? 1.21 gigawatts.
- 1:10:28Speaker 19: Yep, yep, yep, yep.
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I'm going to go a little bit harder here. From
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: what country were the terrorists who supplied the plutonium needed
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: to power the DeLorean? Anybody know?
- 1:10:40Speaker 20: What?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Now that I know the answer, I remember it coming
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: up a lot in the movie. Nick, do you know?
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Is it the Bolivians? No, close. Belgeria?
- 1:10:50Speaker 13: Libya.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Libya. Libyans, yeah. Now, this is really hard, I think.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: What's the name of Marty's hometown? Do you know?
- 1:10:58Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: What?
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Hill Valley.
- 1:11:01Speaker 16: Wow.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: That was simple for him. The mall is still there.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: What song does Marty play in Guitar to School Dance?
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: We Will Rock You?
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: Nope. Johnny B. Goode. Johnny B. Goode. Okay, I think
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: this is a real hard one. Who is Marty's girlfriend?
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Do you know this one? Jennifer. Jennifer what? Jennifer Costello. No,
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: you got it half right. It's Jennifer Parker. Jennifer Parker.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: What invention powers the DeLorean's original time travel system? Yes, Rich.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: The flux capacitor.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Well done, you guys. Well done.
- 1:11:40Speaker 19: That was fun.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Thanks for having me, guys. Yeah, you bet. Great job, Nick.
- 1:11:47Speaker 19: I'm heading home.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Great Scott. Jocelyn. Jocelyn, good morning. You're on the air.
- 1:11:51Speaker 29: What's happening?
- 1:11:53Speaker 22: Hi.
- 1:11:53Speaker 27: Hi.
- 1:11:55Speaker 12: I am so excited to.
- 1:11:56Speaker 16: Be on the air with you guys, for one.
- 1:11:57Speaker 22: I listen to you guys every morning.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:12:02Speaker 16: But I wanted to say I was listening, I think.
- 1:12:05Speaker 22: To last week.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: And now I.
- 1:12:08Speaker 16: Will forever know how to spell caterpillar.
- 1:12:10Speaker 12: Because you said cater and then pillar.
- 1:12:16Speaker 16: So now I know.
- 1:12:17Speaker 13: How to spell that.
- 1:12:19Speaker 16: And then the other thing was I was really excited
- 1:12:22Speaker 16: because you said that they announced the second.
- 1:12:25Speaker 22: Part to the Mr.
- 1:12:27Speaker 23: Beast grocery store challenge.
- 1:12:30Speaker 16: And me and my son had to watch it like
- 1:12:32Speaker 16: immediately after I heard that.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Pretty good episode, wasn't it?
- 1:12:36Speaker 26: Yeah, it was really good.
- 1:12:39Speaker 16: My son, like the part one of the video, my
- 1:12:42Speaker 16: son watched it like probably four times.
- 1:12:44Speaker 14: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: That's awesome.
- 1:12:45Speaker 16: Yeah, and it's like it's almost an hour long, the first.
- 1:12:48Speaker 26: Part of it.
- 1:12:49Speaker 16: So, yeah, he kept repeatedly watching it. So then when
- 1:12:51Speaker 16: we heard the part two came out, we.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Had to watch it right away.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: So good. Do you know that that episode of Mr.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Beast is the highest most watched episode in the history
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: of anything he's ever done?
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: That's because he's got stuff that's got 200 million views.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: This has got above that. So if you think the
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: last I checked, I had 250 million views and that
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: was several days ago. But let me tell you this.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Think about this for a second. There's so much hype
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: behind the Super Bowl when it has 100 million views.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: We talked about the MTV VMAs because it had 9
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: million views. His YouTube one video an hour last I
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: checked was 250 million views. That's insane.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: And it's so easy to watch because I don't know
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: where they go to editing school, but things move so
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: fast because they're encapsulating like a half a year in
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: like an hour. So it goes really, really, really quick.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Well, thanks for listening, Jocelyn, and thanks for calling in.
- 1:13:40Speaker 12: Yeah, thanks for helping me spell and thanks for keeping
- 1:13:43Speaker 12: me updated.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Caterpillar. That's my favorite track.
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Thanks. Good morning, Gus. What's up?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Hey, did Peyton really say that she's never seen Back
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: to the Future?
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: Mm-hmm. That would be facts.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Um.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I don't, I'm not really sure what to say that
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I was a big fan of you before Peyton, but.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: That's, uh, well, in that case, Gus, I will make
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: sure I watch back to the future just for you.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: Don't you think in a, in a lot of ways
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: that movie still kind of holds up, you know, when
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: you watch.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: It, I know it's an 85, a hundred percent, but
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: it is perfect. It's like the perfect time travel movie.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: They don't get anything wrong.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: And then when you see back to the future too,
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: it even solidifies how good the first one was.
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: So like, what is the vibe of back to the
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: future though? Like, are they just going through spaces?
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Like, is it a fun, like, well, it's fun.
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: What's interesting about it?
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, it's a fun movie, but it
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: also has one of the, I guess, one of the
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: creepiest stories that kind of just nobody really paid attention
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: to how creepy the story is. Yeah, the guy goes
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: back to the future and his mom falls in love
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: with him and tries to hook up with him.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: It's fun, Peyton, because when you watch it, you think
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: about what you would do. So this guy goes back
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: in time and he finds his parents. So he's meeting his,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: he's watching his parents meet for the first time. And
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: he has a picture of his, of him and his
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: parents currently, but because his parents haven't officially met yet,
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: they start disappearing in the photo. So he has to
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: make sure they meet or else he doesn't exist. But
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: his mom's really into him. At one point, he's wearing,
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: she calls him Calvin because his underwear says Calvin Klein.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: So she thinks his name is Calvin and he writes
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: his name. But it's really one of those movies where
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: you try to find the faults in the time travel,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: and there really isn't. You can't. It's perfect.
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: I think you guys convinced me.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: I'll watch it. You can skip Back to the Future
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: 3 altogether. Am I right, Gus?
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: I'm only going to watch the first one.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 1:15:38Speaker 29: No, really, Rich?
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: I love them all.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Did you guys know that part two and part three
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: was shot in one shot because it was supposed to
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: be one movie?
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Yes. Not one shot. Like it was one movie at
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: one time.
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: And they shot it all.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: But I mean, like, like, yeah, they, uh, they shot
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: it all at the same time and then they realized
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: it's too long. So they split it up and they
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: released it.
- 1:15:56Speaker 18: As two movies.
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: It's a good movie.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: It's, it's a really good, uh, also I saw this
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: funny meme the other day. It said, if back to
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: the future was made today, he would only travel back
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to 1996.
- 1:16:05Speaker 18: That's a wild.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Cause it was, it was 1985 and he went back
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: into the fifties.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Right, well, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: That's 30 years.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: 1985, and he went back 30 years. Oh, my gosh.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: So he went back to them.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Isn't that weird? Yeah, he'd be like right in the
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: heart of grunge.
- 1:16:27Speaker 21: Right.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: I was going to say, it was kind.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Of like the beginning of Christina Aguilera.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Not to change the subject, I know you said you
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: were busy, but I do have some haunted house stories
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: if you have time.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Sure, give us one. What do you got?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: So I grew up in New York, and the house
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: that I grew up in on Long Island, it was
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: very haunted. We lived in there about 20-something years. Never
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: did anything to anybody, but it was always little things.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Like the most common thing was people would get their
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: name whispered in their ear. I never had a friend
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: sleep over more than once because they were too scared
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: of the house.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: The scariest thing that ever happened to me.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: The scariest thing that ever happened was I had what
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: people call sleep paralysis, you know, they say. So I
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: woke up in the middle of the night one night
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: because I had to go to the bathroom and I'm
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: sitting there debating on whether it's important enough or can
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: I go back to sleep. And as I started waking up,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I started listening to the room and it sounds like
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: there was somebody in my room going through my stuff. Like,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I didn't think ghost. I thought somebody broke in and
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: they're looking through my room. So I just led there
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: and act like I was sleeping because I didn't really care.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I didn't have anything of value. But then I started
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: thinking my mother used to have these little dogs and
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: they always, you know, they were loud. So I'm sitting
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: there like, wait, if somebody broke in, why aren't the
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: dogs barking? And so as soon as my brain switched
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: from somebody broke into there's a ghost, all the noises
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: immediately stopped happening. And then I immediately felt like someone
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: was just like right over my shoulder. Just, I just
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: got the feeling. And then all of a sudden I felt,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: it felt like a hand. I felt his hand touch
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: my back softly. And as soon as it touched, my
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: whole body went numb. I mean, I tried to wiggle
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: a toe and I couldn't do it. I tried to
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: scream and all that came out was like that.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: It was weird.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: And it felt like forever, but it was probably like
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: 15 seconds. And then the hand came off my back
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: and everything went away. I immediately turned around and.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: There was nothing.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: So I laid there for a second and then, you know,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I went through that whole trauma and I decided not
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to tell my mother because my poor mother at the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: time she was a housewife and she was very scared
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: of the house and if I would have told her
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: that she wouldn't have stayed home all day so I
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: didn't tell my mother and two days later my mother
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: calls me up at my job and is freaking out
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: and she basically told me she just woke up and
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the same thing happened to her she described it What I.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Would tell you, what I would tell you from what
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: I've learned today from Wendy the witch, and I think
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: you have the perfect New York accent to say this,
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: is to be.
- 1:19:18Speaker 6: Like, hey, ghost, get the F out of here.
- 1:19:22Speaker 8: Get the F out of here.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Get the F out of here. And don't come back,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: you bum ghost. You're a bum ghost. Is that what
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: your mom said? Your mom turned around and said, get
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: the F out of here. That new Long Island accent.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Ghost never showed up again. Ghost went to Kyle's house. Gus,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: thanks for calling in, dude. Thanks for listening, brother. Appreciate
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: you very much. We got Doja Cat tickets online in
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: less than 20 minutes. But what's coming up in Entertainment News, Kyle?
- 1:19:54Speaker 11: One of the biggest names in music is giving video
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: games a major makeover.
- 1:19:58Speaker 10: We'll get into it after these messages.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: After these messages. We'll be right back.
- 1:20:05Speaker 19: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Woo!
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: We are like a whole vibe. Kyle, what's going on
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: in the entertainment world?
- 1:20:10Speaker 11: If you had tickets to see Charlie XCX tonight in Glendale, unfortunately,
- 1:20:15Speaker 11: you got the tickets, but there will be no show.
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: She has officially canceled.
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: And she just said she's been fighting an illness throughout
- 1:20:21Speaker 11: the tour and now has completely lost her voice. The
- 1:20:24Speaker 11: biggest bummer about this, like you understand people get sick
- 1:20:27Speaker 11: and like I feel bad for her because, you know,
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: no artist wants to cancel a show. but like they're
- 1:20:32Speaker 11: not rescheduling it. They said they tried, but none of
- 1:20:35Speaker 11: the dates worked. So they are not rescheduling. She is
- 1:20:38Speaker 11: still planning on doing the Vegas show, which is the 23rd, but.
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: And it's her last show.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:42Speaker 7: So that's why I'm sure, you know, she's probably like,
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: I'm done for like this tour is Brittany out.
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: I was so excited for this show.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: She looked, it looks so cool.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: Like the video I see from that concert looks like
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: the lights, the vibes, the, The band, they all, it
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: looked amazing.
- 1:20:58Speaker 7: I mean, a Charlie XCX show is an experience, and
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: me and my little brother were so sad. We were just, like,
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: singing Party for You the whole day.
- 1:21:04Speaker 11: I know, and so many people had traveled to Arizona
- 1:21:07Speaker 11: to see this, but, you know, Vegas, I guess, is
- 1:21:08Speaker 11: a short drive away.
- 1:21:09Speaker 10: Yeah, you will get a refund.
- 1:21:12Speaker 11: They do say they are going to refund all the tickets.
- 1:21:15Speaker 11: Black Pink's Lisa is bringing some serious glam to PlayStation,
- 1:21:18Speaker 11: you guys, dropping a limited edition controller that is basically
- 1:21:21Speaker 11: a little piece of her personality.
- 1:21:22Speaker 10: It's pretty gorgeous.
- 1:21:23Speaker 11: It's got like a pearl finish, her signature initials, even
- 1:21:26Speaker 11: illustrations of her famous bangs and eyes. That drops October 30th, which.
- 1:21:31Speaker 10: Is pretty cool for the PlayStation world.
- 1:21:32Speaker 11: Dylan Sprouse said he found something out about his family
- 1:21:35Speaker 11: history that he probably wishes he could unlearn. He says
- 1:21:39Speaker 11: he was doing some ancestry research and discovered that relatives
- 1:21:43Speaker 11: on both sides of his family ended up marrying each
- 1:21:46Speaker 11: other way back during the California gold rush.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: But that means you're only four generations removed from incest?
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: Yeah, but I don't have webbed toes.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: But I am a twin.
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: Now, something else came up. One of my aunts was
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: a twin sister. But she was one of the twins
- 1:22:02Speaker 9: who ate her twin in the womb. And then when
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: they cut open a cyst on her shoulder, it had
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: like teeth and hair.
- 1:22:09Speaker 10: It is so wild. He says he told his twin
- 1:22:11Speaker 10: brother about all this and his twin brother just hung
- 1:22:13Speaker 10: up on him.
- 1:22:13Speaker 8: He's like, I don't want to hear about that. Why
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: would you tell me this?
- 1:22:16Speaker 11: I saw this like all over my social media feed
- 1:22:19Speaker 11: yesterday and actually hearing her reaction to it is crazy.
- 1:22:23Speaker 10: So devastating.
- 1:22:24Speaker 11: So Christina Applegate, she revealed that the multiple sclerosis diagnosis
- 1:22:28Speaker 11: she got back in 2021 was actually incorrect.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: This may come as great news. To me, it comes
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: as like I'm back at square one.
- 1:22:37Speaker 28: It's hard to say that she came into my room
- 1:22:41Speaker 28: and she said, congratulations, you don't have MS.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Congratulations. I was like, not happy at all.
- 1:22:49Speaker 10: Because you don't get misdiagnosed and then all of a
- 1:22:51Speaker 10: sudden I'm better.
- 1:22:52Speaker 29: Right.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: I haven't gotten better, Jamie.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: If anything, I've gotten worse in some ways.
- 1:22:59Speaker 11: And then you think about like the medication she's been
- 1:23:01Speaker 11: taking for something she doesn't have, which may contribute to
- 1:23:04Speaker 11: her condition getting worse.
- 1:23:04Speaker 10: And they don't know what she has, right?
- 1:23:05Speaker 11: And they have no idea, which is why she's like,
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: I mean, I guess that's good, but I still.
- 1:23:10Speaker 10: Feel like garbage sometimes.
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm sure. I hope somebody hears that. That's one
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: of those types of doctors.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that can help her out. And can diagnose her.
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: Yeah, that can step in.
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: Okay, if you were watching the New York Knicks game
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: last night versus the 76ers, LeBron's first game with the 76ers,
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: you may have seen Harry Styles in the crowd.
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: Because he was there.
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: For the Knicks opening night ring ceremony and banner raising.
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: He was at Madison Square Garden. He was actually signing
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: autographs for fans before the game.
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: So I love that Harry was there.
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: And Jalen Brunson, who plays for the Knicks, has been
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: to a couple of Harry's shows in New York.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: So they share.
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: Each other's love.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: So LeBron joins the 76ers. And the 76ers beat the
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: world champions.
- 1:23:53Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: At their home.
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: It was a good game.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Dang. Yeah. Right now, that would mean the 76ers are
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: going to be unstoppable.
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: We'll see.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: And they're playing here New Year's Eve against... No.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: No.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: The Knicks are New Year's Eve against the Suns, and
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: the 76ers are a couple days before that.
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: I hope LeBron wants to play that day.
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: Okay, A $ AP Rocky, he kind of got himself into
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: some hot water with Rihanna. So do you remember a
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: couple of months back when he was like, oh yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: R9 is coming.
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: Riri's getting in the studio?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Well, apparently.
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: We were like, yay!
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: When he got home, she was like, uh-uh, you need
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: to keep your mouth shut. He said that his life
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: was like a living hell for a couple of weeks
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: because having to deal with Rihanna's wrath. So he says
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: he's minding his own business and will not answer any
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: more questions when it comes to her new projects. Last
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: night was Dancing with the Stars dedication night, and it
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: was an emotional roller coaster for literally everyone. The night
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: brought out the very first tenth of the season. Julia Stiles,
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: she did a contemporary routine.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Is that what you were crying about?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: I was.
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: I literally was like crying watching the Julia Stiles Can't
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: Take My Eyes Off of You in memory of Heath Ledger.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: And so they did her dance and it was so beautiful.
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: And then at the end, they did the scene where
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: Julia Stiles does the poem and she's like, and I
- 1:25:11Speaker 7: hate that I don't hate you. And she puts a
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: rose down. She backs up and then the rest of
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: the surviving cast from 10 Things I Hate About You
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: was there.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Like Gabrielle Union.
- 1:25:19Speaker 19: Everyone was there.
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: And I was a mess.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Wow, that's okay.
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: But the big announcement of dedication night was actually Tyler Cameron.
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: He did a dance dedicated to his mom, but he
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: brought out his pregnant fiance. And they did a cute
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: little lift, a dance. And then all of a sudden
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: you see pink confetti falling from the sky because they're
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: having a baby girl.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. Was that after the Heath Ledger tribute?
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: That was, I think it was, actually, I think it
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: was before the Heath Ledger.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: Okay, I was going to say, I don't think you
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: can do anything after the Heath Ledger tribute.
- 1:25:48Speaker 10: Oh, of course, that would raise the spirits a little bit.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: It would raise the spirits, but it'd still be like,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: you couldn't, you'd be like, yeah, we'll give you an eight,
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: we'll give you a seven, that was good.
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: Okay, really, really quickly, because I know people are so
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: excited about this. A couple of weeks ago, I was
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: telling you guys that Ryan Murphy said, maybe there will
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: be a Glee reboot if everyone is down. Well, it
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: was just announced like three hours ago.
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: It's happening. Everyone's down. We are getting a Glee reboot,
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: and I am pumped.
- 1:26:11Speaker 10: It'll be interesting to see how they do it. Do
- 1:26:13Speaker 10: you know what I mean this time? Because it's going
- 1:26:14Speaker 10: to have to be different.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: Probably all new cast.
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: It's going to be a little bit more woke.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:17Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 1:26:17Speaker 12: Do you think?
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Do you think it's going to be all new cast?
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: Is that going to be the same? I'm sure they're
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: going to bring back.
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: Amber Riley as like a teacher.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: They're going to be teachers. It's like a different world.
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: They're going to bring back Lea Michele. Like, you know,
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: they're going to.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: Have some people. They're going to be teachers and they're
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: going to be whatever, but it's going to have to
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: be a whole new cast.
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich. Doja Cat. Should be here next week.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: We got free tickets. We're playing a game. April, good morning.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: You're our contestant. How are you, April?
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: How are you guys? You ready to play a game
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: for some Doja?
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: Heck yeah.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: All right, what are you playing, Peyton?
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: Okay, this is called Mic Drop. I'm going to give
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: you guys one word. And with that word, you guys
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: got to sing me a song with that word in it.
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: But you can get a couple points in this game.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: If you sing the song that I am thinking about,
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: you also get a bonus point and also some energy, right?
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: It's early in the morning.
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: It's time to wake up. John Jay, we're going to
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: start with you. Your word is single.
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: All the single ladies.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: All the single ladies.
- 1:27:12Speaker 14: All the single ladies.
- 1:27:12Speaker 19: All the single ladies.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: Good job, John Jay. All the single ladies.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: All the single ladies.
- 1:27:18Speaker 8: All the single ladies. All the single ladies. Great job.
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: I love it. Rich, your word is beat.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it. No one
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: wants to be defeated.
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: I like it.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: I really wasn't like.
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: I wasn't what?
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: Beauty and the beat.
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I was not on my Michael Jackson this morning.
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: I just know that was magical at Coachella.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: In the middle of Beat It, I figured that was
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: the one you went for.
- 1:27:54Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: The rumor is Drake's going to be at Coachella. Have
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: you heard this yet?
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: No, but that would be epic. I would be breaking in.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: That's my son. We're going to Coachella.
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: I actually need to go with Dutch because Dutch always
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: finds his way in.
- 1:28:07Speaker 8: So we'll go together. That'll be fun. Okay, Kyle. Your
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: word is please.
- 1:28:15Speaker 25: Please, please, please. Please, please, please.
- 1:28:22Speaker 8: Good job.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: Okay, April, your word is going to be love.
- 1:28:28Speaker 9: Loved.
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: Your word is going to be love.
- 1:28:33Speaker 20: Love, love me do.
- 1:28:41Speaker 10: You know I'll love you.
- 1:28:42Speaker 26: That's totally not what you were thinking.
- 1:28:47Speaker 10: And I'll run for miles just to get a taste.
- 1:28:51Speaker 8: Must be love on the brain.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: That's my favorite remix song.
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: Some Rihanna for you this morning because apparently we're not
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: getting any music any time soon, which is annoying. Okay,
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: but good job, April, because you did get a song
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: with the word love. We move into round two. So
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: for you guys to get your mind ready, these are
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: going to be songs from artists that I would probably
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: cry about.
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: If they canceled their show.
- 1:29:13Speaker 13: Okay?
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: In honor of our girl, Charlie XCX, canceling her show.
- 1:29:16Speaker 8: John Jay, moving into round two. You got three points.
- 1:29:20Speaker 8: The word I am looking for for you is romance.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad romance. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 1:29:29Speaker 15: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 1:29:34Speaker 8: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 1:29:37Speaker 7: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: It's kill.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: Oh, I might kill my ex. Not the best idea. Oh, scissor, scissor.
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: Yeah, uh-huh. I might kill my ex. I still have
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: to go. I don't think I would be okay if
- 1:29:56Speaker 8: she canceled a show.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: I don't think you would.
- 1:29:58Speaker 8: Kyle, your word is clap.
- 1:30:03Speaker 10: I can make your hand clap.
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: I would be really sad if Fifth and the Tantrums canceled,
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: but because of our girl, Charli XCX, canceling her show today.
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: Good job, though, Kyle. You do get two points. I'll
- 1:30:24Speaker 7: give you an extra point for having your backup dancers,
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: John Jean.
- 1:30:27Speaker 8: Good job.
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: Okay, April, you are about to win Doja Cat tickets
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: if you get this right, okay?
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:30:36Speaker 8: Okay. Your word is so.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Like, like.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: S-O.
- 1:30:43Speaker 16: Oh, um.
- 1:30:44Speaker 29: Oh, my God.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Um.
- 1:30:53Speaker 16: Oh, my God.
- 1:30:53Speaker 29: I'm just trying to complete blank.
- 1:31:00Speaker 12: Oh, my God.
- 1:31:01Speaker 13: I'm just blanking.
- 1:31:02Speaker 28: It has to be like 5,000 songs.
- 1:31:04Speaker 10: I would probably say so.
- 1:31:06Speaker 21: I could.
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: Say so?
- 1:31:08Speaker 10: You could?
- 1:31:10Speaker 22: Oh, my God.
- 1:31:10Speaker 17: Bye, Doja Cat.
- 1:31:11Speaker 29: Sing it.
- 1:31:12Speaker 13: Let's hear it, Rich.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: I thought you wanted me to sing it for a second.
- 1:31:22Speaker 16: I had to learn this TikTok with my daughters a
- 1:31:25Speaker 16: million times.
- 1:31:26Speaker 8: Well, you better start working out on those moves.
- 1:31:28Speaker 29: Like how I did not get that?
- 1:31:29Speaker 10: That's insane.
- 1:31:30Speaker 8: Well, that's okay. You can listen to it and sing
- 1:31:32Speaker 8: along when you go to Doja Cat next week.
- 1:31:34Speaker 16: Oh, I'm so excited.
- 1:31:35Speaker 17: My girls would be excited.
- 1:31:36Speaker 13: They were supposed to be at Charlie XCX tonight.
- 1:31:38Speaker 8: Oh, they're heartbroken like you too.
- 1:31:40Speaker 10: I know.
- 1:31:41Speaker 16: I know.
- 1:31:41Speaker 13: On the way here, they're texting me from school and
- 1:31:43Speaker 13: they're like, we're not going.
- 1:31:44Speaker 14: I was like, what?
- 1:31:46Speaker 28: But I mean, everybody gets sick.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Well, thank you for playing April. Thanks
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: for listening.
- 1:31:51Speaker 17: Thanks guys.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Hold on a second. Thank you. Hey, I've had,
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: my brains are going 100 miles an hour this morning
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: and the only way to solve it is by having
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: our boss on the phone. Okay. So I was going
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: to call our boss, but, It was perfect timing because
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: I always thought if we ever, you remember that TV show,
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: The Hawk with Will Ferrell?
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: And the intro to that song was like, they call
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: him The Hawk. He's a golfer. The greatest golfer in
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: the world. So I thought our boss's name is Mark.
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: And I was like, I wrote, I had a song
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: written for him. It was like, call him Medina. The
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: greatest program director in the world. I thought, I'm going
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: to have that ready just in case we ever need him.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: And do we have, is he on the phone? Are
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: we going to talk to him? Because I'm going to, oh,
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: I saw him starting to type his name in. No,
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: he's not on. Darn it. So I have this. What happened?
- 1:32:38Speaker 19: He's sending us straight to voicemail.
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: He doesn't want our number. He's probably sending us. So
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: check this out. Because you were talking about Rihanna there
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: in that game, right? This morning, I'm listening to us
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: on the iHeartRadio app for free. I'm listening to us
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: on the free iHeartRadio app. And I hear Rihanna song.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: And the song is B word better have my money.
- 1:33:08Speaker 8: Such a good song.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: Such a good song.
- 1:33:10Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: B word. Not bleeped out.
- 1:33:14Speaker 9: Ooh.
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: The other day we played Jay Z 99 problems. B
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: word bleeped out. And I was wondering why.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: I asked Noah, I asked Noah, can you pull that
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: song so we can play? I want to hear it.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: And guess what? It's not in our system. The Rihanna song.
- 1:33:31Speaker 10: Interesting.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: Weird.
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: Need some answers.
- 1:33:33Speaker 10: And you've been like just hiding.
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: Can't focus on today's show. I want answers.
- 1:33:39Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, John Jay, that thing would distract you.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: Why is B word better have my money allowed to
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: say the B word? Why can't Jay-Z say the B word?
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: And why is it not in our system?
- 1:33:48Speaker 19: When I heard it on the ice already.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: Maybe it's okay.
- 1:33:51Speaker 10: When a girl says it, but not when a guy
- 1:33:54Speaker 10: says it.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: That's why I need the answer from Medina.
- 1:33:56Speaker 8: Well, it makes sense.
- 1:33:57Speaker 7: And also it's like, I would say, well, maybe like
- 1:33:59Speaker 7: Rihanna's saying it in an endearing way, like you're my B,
- 1:34:02Speaker 7: but she is not in that song.
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: And isn't Jay-Z talking about a dog, a police dog,
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: not a person?
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know. But I also, Payton, didn't you
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: get flagged for saying the B word on Instagram?
- 1:34:11Speaker 8: Yeah, what the heck is that about?
- 1:34:13Speaker 7: Okay, so I went to go comment on two different
- 1:34:16Speaker 7: posts on Instagram yesterday. One of them was a girl
- 1:34:19Speaker 7: who got to meet SZA at that pop-up you were
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: telling us.
- 1:34:22Speaker 8: About, John Jay. And I wanted to comment like, B,
- 1:34:25Speaker 8: I would die.
- 1:34:26Speaker 7: I am so jealous. And Instagram flagged it and wouldn't
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: let me post it. And then I went to go
- 1:34:30Speaker 7: comment on Kim Kardashian's post where she dressed up as
- 1:34:33Speaker 7: Northwest for Halloween.
- 1:34:35Speaker 8: And I was like, B, this is so good. And
- 1:34:38Speaker 8: it flagged me. Instagram wouldn't let me post it. And
- 1:34:40Speaker 8: I'm like, I'm saying it in an endearing way.
- 1:34:43Speaker 23: Like, you're my B.
- 1:34:47Speaker 7: I don't like how they're trying to censor me right now.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: Maybe they're just like, this girl's a psycho super fan.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: Probably.
- 1:34:51Speaker 7: I have been commenting a lot on random posts that
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: I'm seeing because I'm kind of bored at home.
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: And it's been really fun. You just see me in
- 1:34:59Speaker 8: the comments.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: But interesting how the B word is censored sometimes. Yeah.
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: I wonder why. That's why I was trying to get
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: ahold of our boss, but he owes me. Colin Fudd,
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: what do we need to know today?
- 1:35:10Speaker 11: Things have gotten so intense in Paris. Now, parts of
- 1:35:13Speaker 11: the city are under a nighttime curfew. Remember, we said
- 1:35:16Speaker 11: they had thought they may be going there, and they
- 1:35:18Speaker 11: went there. After protests over the cost of living and
- 1:35:21Speaker 11: problems in schools turned really.
- 1:35:23Speaker 10: Violent, cars were set on fire, stores were looted.
- 1:35:26Speaker 11: Reports say more than 2,400 people were arrested across France.
- 1:35:29Speaker 11: Authorities are preparing for more demonstrations, although the curfews have
- 1:35:33Speaker 11: sort of helped calm things down a little bit. But, yeah,
- 1:35:36Speaker 11: the fact that they're preparing for more, they know they're
- 1:35:39Speaker 11: they're far from done with this. There's a new twist
- 1:35:41Speaker 11: in that disturbing Cornell fraternity sexual assault case. So a
- 1:35:45Speaker 11: former fraternity president has now been dropped from the lawsuit.
- 1:35:48Speaker 8: And get this.
- 1:35:49Speaker 11: Turns out he wasn't actually the president when the alleged
- 1:35:52Speaker 11: assault happened. So they were like, well, obviously, you were
- 1:35:55Speaker 11: the president at the time. You had something to do
- 1:35:56Speaker 11: with this. He's like, but I wasn't the president at
- 1:35:58Speaker 11: the time. So he's been dropped from the lawsuit. But
- 1:36:01Speaker 11: the allegations of the other members of the fraternity that that.
- 1:36:06Speaker 10: That lawsuit is still moving forward.
- 1:36:09Speaker 8: I was like, I must be.
- 1:36:11Speaker 11: Seeing things yesterday when they're like, yeah, there's going to
- 1:36:13Speaker 11: be tornado warnings and tornado watches or whatever in Arizona tomorrow.
- 1:36:17Speaker 10: I'm like, I'm sorry, what?
- 1:36:19Speaker 11: That's not real, but it is. We have some pretty
- 1:36:22Speaker 11: wild weather on tap across the state. There's three tornado
- 1:36:26Speaker 11: warnings issued right now. Luckily, it's not like here in
- 1:36:29Speaker 11: the Phoenix metro area. It's like Flagstaff, Prescott, and Jerome,
- 1:36:33Speaker 11: and Cottonwood. That's where those storm warnings are. And then also,
- 1:36:37Speaker 11: there's like reports of maybe like golf ball or even
- 1:36:39Speaker 11: baseball-sized hail that could be happening in some of those areas.
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: So I have a history of bad stuff happening in
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: my backyard, you know, because of certain things. And in
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: my roof, I'm getting a new roof right now. It's
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: been working on it. It's the worst time to get
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: a new roof. Well, it was... Why? What do you mean?
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Because of all the rain that's been happening over the
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: last few weeks.
- 1:36:56Speaker 10: You couldn't know that.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: I have to get a new roof and I have
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: to get a new roof. And I got this great company,
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Arizona Roofers. I investigated and interviewed so many different roofing companies.
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: And they're almost done, but we don't have our gutters
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: up yet. And I saw yesterday that today it's like
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: a 95% chance of rain. And it's supposed to be really,
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: really bad. And then I saw a graphic of the
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: tornadoes you're talking about. And Phoenix is in that graphic.
- 1:37:22Speaker 11: Well, I was just saying the three warnings issued right now,
- 1:37:26Speaker 11: but that doesn't necessarily mean that we may not get
- 1:37:28Speaker 11: some later.
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: So I called my wife about an hour ago and
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: her and my son Kemp are walking to go get breakfast.
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: And I'm like, I have this special pump that you
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: got to plug in because of our flooding until my
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: roof is fixed. I said, I have a special pump.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: I go, we got to go put the pump. Put
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: the pump in. I'm not going to be home until whatever.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: And she's like, it's beautiful outside. It's a perfect day.
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: And I go, I'm telling you, I see it on
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: all the graphs that some hell's coming. And I was like,
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: and she's just like in denial. And I think she's
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: saying right now, then I woke up this morning. Also,
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: I saw on Instagram all these people in Mesa are
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: showing hail and rain. And I'm like, man, there's like
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: nothing going on in my neighborhood right now.
- 1:38:05Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:38:06Speaker 10: And that's the crazy thing.
- 1:38:06Speaker 11: And there's like when they do these forecasts, like you
- 1:38:08Speaker 11: never know how exactly it's going to hit in your neighborhood.
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: You get the microburst. You never know.
- 1:38:12Speaker 7: I actually saw something the other day where it's like
- 1:38:14Speaker 7: when you look at your weather app and it says,
- 1:38:18Speaker 7: let's say 95% rain. It's actually 100% rain in 95%
- 1:38:23Speaker 7: of your area.
- 1:38:25Speaker 8: That's how you break it down.
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: I'll take you just greater than less than you. You're
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: not going to get that.
- 1:38:31Speaker 7: So if it says on the app, there is 50%
- 1:38:34Speaker 7: chance of rain. You're like, oh, it's a 50% chance
- 1:38:36Speaker 7: it'll rain today. No, it's 100% chance that it's going
- 1:38:40Speaker 7: to rain today, but in 50% of the area.
- 1:38:42Speaker 8: That you're around.
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: I don't think that's how that works. You mean it's
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: going to rain somewhere in your area. It's going to
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: rain somewhere. You just don't know if it's in your
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: area or not.
- 1:38:48Speaker 8: You just don't know if it's in your area.
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: It could be ready to get a surprise. 100% chance
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: it's going to rain today, but it might rain as
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: a surprise. Exactly.
- 1:38:54Speaker 8: It might not rain as a surprise. But when you
- 1:38:56Speaker 8: see 95%, 95% of that area is going to get
- 1:38:59Speaker 8: rain or hail or whatever. That's just what I saw
- 1:39:01Speaker 8: on the internet.
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: I'm glad you don't work for those apps. I don't
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: think it works that way. Either way.
- 1:39:06Speaker 8: Brace yourself for the weather today.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: We're going to have some weather. 100% chance. Just not
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: near a neighbor.
- 1:39:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:39:13Speaker 11: You know, everyone's like obsessed with protein. They're putting protein
- 1:39:15Speaker 11: in everything. And then, you know, fiber has got the
- 1:39:18Speaker 11: same whole thing where it's like with fiber. But now
- 1:39:20Speaker 11: apparently there is a new food trend, a new nutrition
- 1:39:23Speaker 11: buzzword making the rounds. I think you're going to start
- 1:39:25Speaker 11: seeing everywhere. And it's nutrient density. Basically, people are starting
- 1:39:30Speaker 11: to care less about counting calories and more about getting
- 1:39:32Speaker 11: the most vitamins and minerals, protein and fiber out of
- 1:39:35Speaker 11: every bite. So it's not just necessarily the one thing
- 1:39:38Speaker 11: like this has protein in it. Does it also have
- 1:39:40Speaker 11: all of the other nutrients that you need?
- 1:39:43Speaker 10: Nutrient density.
- 1:39:44Speaker 11: Just keep that in the back of your head. When
- 1:39:45Speaker 11: you start seeing it, you'll be like, oh yeah, that's
- 1:39:47Speaker 11: the thing. Really good news and exciting news to end
- 1:39:50Speaker 11: on here. Arizona has officially got a new national park.
- 1:39:54Speaker 11: Remember I told you the paperwork was on President Trump's desk.
- 1:39:58Speaker 11: He signed the legislation just yesterday, upgrading Chiricahua National Monument
- 1:40:02Speaker 11: to a national park, making it our fourth alongside Grand Canyon, Saguaro,
- 1:40:07Speaker 11: and the Petrified Forest.
- 1:40:08Speaker 10: It's known for those incredible towering- Oh, Petrified Forest is here?
- 1:40:10Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 1:40:11Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:40:12Speaker 11: If you've seen pictures on social media of those incredible
- 1:40:14Speaker 11: towering rock formations that look like something out of another
- 1:40:17Speaker 11: planet that they literally stacked rocks on top of.
- 1:40:19Speaker 10: That's what that is. And now it's a national monument.
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: I'd say Petrified Forest is unbelievable if you get a
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: chance to go to that thing. I didn't know it
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: was here.
- 1:40:26Speaker 10: All of those are, yeah. So pretty cool news for Arizona.
- 1:40:28Speaker 10: And that's what you need to know.
- 1:40:30Speaker 19: Broadcasting live across the world right now. This is the
- 1:40:35Speaker 19: John Jay and Rich radio program.
