Speaker 1: Why does it always seem that everything we're concerned about feels bigger in the night?
• 0:17
Speaker 1: In those times we all feel the need for a friend we can call when we're struggling in the middle of the night, and they don't question why you called so late.
• 0:27
Speaker 1: This type of friend will drop everything to be with you just because you say you need them.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: The great news is is that we all have that friend.
• 0:37
Speaker 1: Father, son and Holy Spirit are available 24-7, waiting to hear from us.
• 0:44
Speaker 1: Their phone is never turned off.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: They are ready to answer us, even if all we can do is sigh.
• 0:57
Speaker 1: Isaiah 57-15 says For this is what the High and Exalted One says he who lives forever, whose name is Holy.
• 1:02
Speaker 1: The English language doesn't do this verse justice.
• 1:20
Speaker 1: The way it has been translated makes it sound very religious and exclusive.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: God only lives with those who are contrite and humble.
• 1:27
Speaker 1: Contrite and humble Hmm, that leaves me out.
• 1:32
Speaker 1: But if you dig into the meaning of the words, you see a much different picture.
• 1:38
Speaker 1: Listen to it this way.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: For this is what the High and exalted one says he who lives in eternity, whose name is holy.
• 1:49
Speaker 1: I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one whose spirit has been broken and crushed like fine dust, and with the one whose spirit is depressed and low.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: And with the one whose spirit is depressed and low, I live with them to revive and bring life back to their depressed and low spirit, and to revive and bring life back to the heart of those who are crushed and broken.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: The love and worship I have for God.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: As I read this truth is hard to put into words, but with all that is within me, I say yes, god, you are so high and exalted, so, other than that, we as humans cannot look on your glory.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Your name is holy and you rightfully live in your high and holy place.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: And yet you also live with me, even when I'm broken and crushed and depressed in spirit, when I would like to hide in a hole and pull the hole in on top of myself.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: You know right where I am and you're there with me.
• 2:59
Speaker 1: You live with me, there to bring life back to my heart and spirit.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Hallelujah, what a Father, savior, comforter, healer and Ultimate Friend.

• 3:25
Speaker 1: Hear him speak to you about trust, faith and love that is much deeper than just surviving.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: Hear the soft voice of your father speaking in the core of your essence.
