- 1:34Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It was bad. It was bad getting here. Have you
- 1:40Speaker 1: not You don't drive to New York?
- 1:42Speaker 6: No?
- 1:42Speaker 5: No, no, I hate I hate driving generally. And then here,
- 1:46Speaker 5: it's just here if you want to. I just want
- 1:48Speaker 5: to see what it wants.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Sorry, this is video game thing.
- 1:51Speaker 5: There was no by the way, there's no time to
- 1:52Speaker 5: process anything. I just to I walked in and then
- 1:55Speaker 5: we're you know, I'm just kind of looking at the stuff.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think there might be some Portuguese chocolate.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Absolutely not.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Is it?
- 2:08Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 2:08Speaker 1: It's a Portuguese chocolate.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I appreciate that. I don't want it. You're bad at
- 2:17Speaker 5: taking gifts, Guys.
- 2:18Speaker 3: When did you become so rude?
- 2:20Speaker 5: What I've always been this way? What are the so?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Take it in, take it.
- 2:28Speaker 6: In, funny.
- 2:28Speaker 5: I'm just gonna have to make go ahead.
- 2:30Speaker 3: You're the nicest person I know until you're not.
- 2:34Speaker 5: First of all, have I been anything, but I've been mad.
- 2:39Speaker 5: You could be mad.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Our correspondence, is you leaving me three minutes of the kindest,
- 2:45Speaker 3: most sincere voice notes I've ever heard in my life.
- 2:50Speaker 3: That's what you do.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You're incredibly sweet.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We usually talk about golf and like, you know, missing
- 2:58Speaker 3: each other and stuff like that, wanting to hang out more.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Who initiated? Are you initiating? Are you returning the same
- 3:04Speaker 1: energy that he's giving or is it? Uh?
- 3:06Speaker 5: I turn to wait. If he talks about golf stuff,
- 3:10Speaker 5: then I give back. I'm just looking for any reason
- 3:13Speaker 5: to talk about.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Sorry, I'm not all good, all good, I like it, but.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Yeah, so the drive here, you're in the Lincoln Tunnel
- 3:22Speaker 5: and then it goes, hey, you gotta get over.
- 3:25Speaker 6: You can't get over, you can't.
- 3:26Speaker 5: I'm looking at white double double, not even double white,
- 3:30Speaker 5: but like pilt like white plastic.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Cones, like you can just go.
- 3:38Speaker 3: You'll bend those go.
- 3:40Speaker 5: No, sometimes you got to I have to. Well I
- 3:44Speaker 5: refuse to do that. So then it's I'm going left
- 3:48Speaker 5: and I have to wait my fate of like what's coming.
- 3:51Speaker 5: I don't know. I got ten minutes. It's bump bumper.
- 3:53Speaker 6: So then you don't know if it's going to add
- 3:55Speaker 6: like an hour onto the trip to right.
- 3:58Speaker 5: So then I like, you know, a couple of rights,
- 4:00Speaker 5: and then I'm on another road and I go, oh,
- 4:02Speaker 5: that's interesting. There's like those white you know gizmos again.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Not a good sign, and I go, that's god.
- 4:07Speaker 5: It's kind of smart because for lanes you separated and
- 4:10Speaker 5: keep putting, and then all of a sudden it starts
- 4:12Speaker 5: going right again, and it's like keep left like I can't,
- 4:16Speaker 5: and then it stick me back to the Lincoln Tunnel.
- 4:20Speaker 5: It's like you gotta get off where where that happens with?
- 4:25Speaker 3: So you went back through the tunnel, through the tunnel.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Three times? Is you gonna go back again?
- 4:32Speaker 5: I suppose you'd say four times because it was in out.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Well yeah, yet you will.
- 4:39Speaker 3: You will eventually have done for four lengths.
- 4:41Speaker 5: So then I tried to call you. I'm in the tunnel,
- 4:43Speaker 5: can't call you.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I called you, and all we heard you picked up,
- 4:49Speaker 3: and you went, I might just go home.
- 4:52Speaker 6: I'm going home. I might just turn around, and then
- 4:55Speaker 6: you and you were like hang on, and then you
- 4:57Speaker 6: hung up because.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And I'm like, all right, I'm here. You're on speaker
- 5:00Speaker 3: and I'm like, well, guys, I guess that's the guest
- 5:04Speaker 3: for the day.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Appropriate response. So then the only Reson didn't go directly
- 5:12Speaker 5: home was because he was still trying to reroute me.
- 5:15Speaker 5: And then I was in New Territory, so I was
- 5:18Speaker 5: like the safest thing with you.
- 5:19Speaker 3: To try You had to follow the GPS because it
- 5:22Speaker 3: was telling you to come to keep trying.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yes, there's so many Why do people like this?
- 5:30Speaker 6: Oh my, it's terrible. I've had it. I've had it
- 5:32Speaker 6: in the Holland Tunnel where I've got that happened where
- 5:34Speaker 6: like we got caught in the go back again and
- 5:36Speaker 6: I was in like an uber and I just got out. Yeah,
- 5:39Speaker 6: I'm sorry, man. I was like, there's no way I'm
- 5:41Speaker 6: going through the tunnel two times again, like I'm just
- 5:43Speaker 6: going to take the train or something. Yeah. Yeah, it's terrible,
- 5:46Speaker 6: but that it happens on both of his tunnels.
- 5:48Speaker 5: If there was there's like a place to pull over
- 5:51Speaker 5: and cry.
- 5:52Speaker 1: But there's there's.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Stop.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You just have to fight through. God forbid you, like
- 5:58Speaker 1: open your window in the Holland Tunnel in cancer, Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 6: You die immediately.
- 6:02Speaker 3: It's just it's a bong of exhaust.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Interesting, Yeah, it's a nasty hot box, but that is
- 6:09Speaker 1: a frustrating drive crying in your car. Imagine if you
- 6:13Speaker 1: didn't have GPS. That was fucking a terrible era. I
- 6:16Speaker 1: remember having to drive to North Jersey with printed out
- 6:20Speaker 1: directions on map quest and like I couldn't figure it out.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So I was calling my dad to go over a
- 6:25Speaker 1: map in real time with me, and I was like
- 6:28Speaker 1: spazzing on my dad, just like it was his fault
- 6:30Speaker 1: that I was lost in North Jersey. I was fucking crying.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think I cried after where it's just driving losing it.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It's frustrating.
- 6:38Speaker 5: It's so frustrating.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Road rage is real. You get road rage a lot
- 6:41Speaker 6: or situations like that.
- 6:43Speaker 5: I wouldn't even say that was road Maybe there was.
- 6:45Speaker 6: You were you were raging directly at the road.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Infrastructure, city planning rage, city planning rage.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, just mowing that thing down though it would just be.
- 6:58Speaker 6: A pe pe and it's terrifying. But I only did
- 7:01Speaker 6: it because the car in front of me did it,
- 7:03Speaker 6: and then I was like, fucking I'm doing it too
- 7:05Speaker 6: interesting And you think it's going to be a scene,
- 7:07Speaker 6: but it really it's a it's a very fluid motion
- 7:10Speaker 6: just go right over.
- 7:10Speaker 1: If they did. But if they didn't want you to
- 7:12Speaker 1: drive over those things, they wouldn't make them bent.
- 7:15Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, they definitely don't want you to drive
- 7:17Speaker 3: you know, you know you know the wheel on Wheel
- 7:19Speaker 3: of Fortune, you know how the little Yeah, exactly like
- 7:23Speaker 3: and it kind of it goes over the knobs and
- 7:26Speaker 3: bends a little.
- 7:27Speaker 6: That's that's you.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's by design.
- 7:30Speaker 6: If it's an orange cone, you're fucked at least I
- 7:32Speaker 6: know for next time too.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Are you worried about breaking the rules or that it
- 7:35Speaker 1: would damage your vehicle?
- 7:38Speaker 5: Both? Yeah, I mean if you've never done that.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It's also nasty. The one tunnel you go through and
- 7:44Speaker 1: it's just like a loop and it's just like six
- 7:47Speaker 1: different exits and it's like Brooklyn.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Yeah, which one is that?
- 7:51Speaker 3: That's down in Tribeca. It's coming out of.
- 7:54Speaker 1: The Holland Tunnel. You go through the Holland Tunnel and
- 7:56Speaker 1: it's just like, yeah, send you on a fucking express
- 8:00Speaker 1: way to a town you don't even want to go to.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It's brutal and dangerous.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Or even getting off of that tunnel, like if you're
- 8:05Speaker 6: turning onto Hudson, if you don't get to the right
- 8:07Speaker 6: immediately you got to do another loop.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Can't get over way out of the holland I don't
- 8:12Speaker 3: think you can keep going around that loop.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Oh you can't.
- 8:14Speaker 3: No, the last stop is the canal street.
- 8:18Speaker 6: I make it. I make it a priority to get
- 8:20Speaker 6: over to that right side.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 6: It really is stressful though. It's like if you don't
- 8:25Speaker 6: get over, you're like it's over. Like I'm fucked going back.
- 8:28Speaker 5: In constantly having to just take people's lives in your
- 8:32Speaker 5: hand driving because you have to.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Well, we none of us really drop here. I drive
- 8:38Speaker 6: a lot in the city though, like in Manhattan. That's crazy.
- 8:41Speaker 5: You seem to have a good temperament for it.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I've gotten used to it. I also find my car
- 8:45Speaker 3: to be a very peaceful place self driving. It's just
- 8:49Speaker 3: like I love the air conditioning. I love the silence
- 8:51Speaker 3: of it. I don't know, it's it's a zen box.
- 8:55Speaker 6: That's good. It's good to have that relationship with that car.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I say that, and then I'm also the guy that
- 8:59Speaker 3: like myself flipping out when people use the shoulder to
- 9:02Speaker 3: cut so I having silence.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Yeah, he listens to No, I don't.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I put it on for you. So it's not weird
- 9:11Speaker 3: a gift.
- 9:13Speaker 5: It's not weird to listen to nothing.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I love it.
- 9:15Speaker 6: I think, I think like the whole way here today,
- 9:18Speaker 6: like how long was your drive?
- 9:20Speaker 5: I did? At one point I started to think, is
- 9:23Speaker 5: that a Bruce Brigsing's song? And then I tried to
- 9:25Speaker 5: listen to some Bruce But then I went back to
- 9:32Speaker 5: the silence, be too careful.
- 9:36Speaker 3: There's all that music going on.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Music, and it wasn't for you today, Oh man, but
- 9:42Speaker 1: I did. I did.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Then listen. There's a Chemical Brothers song called go That.
- 9:47Speaker 5: It's part of some Instagram reel that got me. It
- 9:49Speaker 5: was like when it was just an image of a
- 9:52Speaker 5: guy feeding a very woman a piece of cake, it
- 9:58Speaker 5: was like when you're battery your phone batters if you
- 10:02Speaker 5: got it all the charge just on this go by
- 10:06Speaker 5: the back guy said, that's a good song. He's on
- 10:12Speaker 5: the top of my likes.
- 10:15Speaker 6: So do you just listen to that reel a couple
- 10:17Speaker 6: of times that yes, the.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Song from the real You're like, I'm the appetite for
- 10:22Speaker 1: the song from the real.
- 10:25Speaker 6: So you're a big sixty second preview.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Guys that like you just like that.
- 10:29Speaker 6: You just listen to songs in content I suppose or
- 10:33Speaker 6: he said he downloaded it.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You tell the song.
- 10:35Speaker 6: She had on sopif oh, nice, nice nice. I didn't.
- 10:38Speaker 6: I didn't know if you had. So you listen to music,
- 10:40Speaker 6: just not in the car.
- 10:42Speaker 5: No, No, the car would be the place that I would.
- 10:44Speaker 6: So you don't listen to music at all.
- 10:46Speaker 1: No, I don't think, Francis, I don't. I don't. I
- 10:48Speaker 1: never heard you be like I like this or I
- 10:50Speaker 1: guess a little bit. Olivia Dean was the last artist
- 10:52Speaker 1: I remember.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I like her. But you know what, I think.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I look at music the same way that I sort
- 10:59Speaker 3: of look at fantasy football, where I'm like, well, I
- 11:01Speaker 3: play music, So why would I imagine it? Why would I.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Might be the craziest thing you've ever said.
- 11:08Speaker 3: On the pretend? Why you know, why would I actively
- 11:14Speaker 3: pretend to participate in this?
- 11:16Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I can do. I can do.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I'll just wait till I get home and then play
- 11:22Speaker 3: go by the Chemical.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you have a pianist that you like.
- 11:28Speaker 3: One singular?
- 11:29Speaker 6: Well, who's your favorite? Who's your goat?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Okay, Well that's a tough question because across different genres.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I mean I like certain composers I like, Yeah, you
- 11:38Speaker 3: want to talk about classical show.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Start with class and then I really love as far.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I love as from a more like modern sance. The
- 11:49Speaker 3: the pianist in the band. You're gonna have to talk
- 11:54Speaker 3: while I figured this out.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Obviously, Billy Joel was the answer to this.
- 11:59Speaker 5: My favorite Bruce Bringing song would be the Christmas song.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that is the best one. Probably.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Do you like the rest of him?
- 12:09Speaker 6: That's like a Christmas song? It's definitely not his best song.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Do you like the rest of his ship? I mean
- 12:13Speaker 1: I can't either.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I try all the time, or I've tried multiple times
- 12:17Speaker 1: and went to a concert at Penn State. It's like
- 12:20Speaker 1: two hundred dollars, it was all. I had three hours
- 12:22Speaker 1: of him singing no songs I knew, and he just
- 12:24Speaker 1: couldn't even get He couldn't even get there with his voice. Oh,
- 12:27Speaker 1: his voice is like leaving him. I don't know. That
- 12:30Speaker 1: was like fucking twenty years ago, dude.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Yeah, no, shot, his voice was leaving him twenty years ago.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yes, it was, dude. I saw. I saw just how the.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Boss was peaking. That's that's how it's supposed to sound.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Because he was trying to shout it. He was trying
- 12:46Speaker 1: to also.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Didn't have like any gree days personally.
- 12:51Speaker 3: In them, but you know you are happyer, So that's
- 12:53Speaker 3: why you can't relate to that song. But the whole
- 12:56Speaker 3: point of song glorid is they'll pass you by by
- 12:59Speaker 3: the way you're in your glory d.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I did just say.
- 13:02Speaker 6: He said that good.
- 13:04Speaker 3: You need to take stock of it because they will
- 13:07Speaker 3: pass you by and you'll look back on this time
- 13:10Speaker 3: and say, I really wish I hadn't convinced myself I
- 13:12Speaker 3: didn't have any glory days.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Well, no, no, no, I'm extremely aware of the glory
- 13:18Speaker 5: of my days currently.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Right.
- 13:20Speaker 5: But in relating to that song of like you know
- 13:24Speaker 5: in high school, jock quarterback, jock quarterback, exactly.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I have. I've been at a little bit
- 13:31Speaker 3: of a deficit of glory lately, and I will say
- 13:34Speaker 3: it definitely feels like I'm in a bit of a
- 13:36Speaker 3: glory hole.
- 13:37Speaker 1: No, you're not a glory hole, bro, You're not getting
- 13:39Speaker 1: stuck through a wall.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Definitely in a glory hole.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You're having glory right now. What are you talking about?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Where's your lack of glory?
- 13:46Speaker 3: I'm just hearing like three knocks, which means he's.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Ready about to come. Yeah, I think you're having glory.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think you should should judge yourself
- 13:55Speaker 1: so so uh so harsh.
- 13:57Speaker 3: No, I actually feel pretty good. I just wanted to
- 13:59Speaker 3: get to that glory whole joke. The mount Joy is
- 14:02Speaker 3: the band I was thinking of, and the pianist.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Oh yeah, great, listen to them on the way home.
- 14:07Speaker 3: They're great. Mount Joy is awesome.
- 14:09Speaker 6: It's like a jam band or kind of kind of
- 14:11Speaker 6: but but but more more uh from Philly.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Okay, they're from Philly. They're Philly guys.
- 14:16Speaker 6: It's like Lumineers and Mumford and Sons, but like more
- 14:19Speaker 6: like positive, you know, very happy. It feels music.
- 14:23Speaker 1: That's great, it feels good for your body.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Awesome, you would like them.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Sorry, I'm like a little flemmy, a little.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Under the weather.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I was waiting for you say something.
- 14:32Speaker 6: We were waiting for an apology.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Well constantly.
- 14:36Speaker 1: It didn't really, it didn't read its flemming to me. Honestly,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Oh good, I didn't. I couldn't anything. But now that
- 14:41Speaker 1: you've said it, I'm.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Going to be paying more anytime it was crept up,
- 14:44Speaker 5: I've cleared it.
- 14:45Speaker 1: But he was flemming yesterday, and he said, you've been
- 14:47Speaker 1: sick as.
- 14:47Speaker 6: A dog, and a sick dog. Feel good now though
- 14:50Speaker 6: it's cleared up now, I haven't actually been sick as
- 14:52Speaker 6: a dog.
- 14:53Speaker 1: You do sound a little flemming now that I'm listening
- 14:54Speaker 1: to you, though.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Oh that's if anything that's coming from him. He's passing
- 14:58Speaker 6: over the flem.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Yeah you too. You guys are just pung in front.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, he said, you caught it live like that.
- 15:03Speaker 3: A lot of silent g's going.
- 15:06Speaker 1: It's a sad day because you guys were supposed to
- 15:08Speaker 1: be playing golf today.
- 15:09Speaker 3: We were, and Steven wore his golf shoes.
- 15:12Speaker 5: That's right.
- 15:13Speaker 6: What happened? Why aren't you guys not playing rain the rain?
- 15:15Speaker 3: He's the one who canceled.
- 15:17Speaker 6: I would have played in the rain. You don't play
- 15:18Speaker 6: in the rain.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Well, but there was lightning. There was lightning.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Is there lightning?
- 15:23Speaker 5: I mean that's what the icon said.
- 15:24Speaker 3: If that's so, then then fair enough, yes.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Because then it's a walking course. And then you're out.
- 15:29Speaker 6: There and have you ever been out there when they
- 15:31Speaker 6: when they blow the air horn many times, yeah, it's
- 15:33Speaker 6: the worst many times. Or when we was used to
- 15:36Speaker 6: play I played golf in high school. And when we
- 15:37Speaker 6: had those, when we had matches and you heard the
- 15:39Speaker 6: air horn, You're like, oh, thank god, fuck out of here.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Really, Oh you got to play in high school.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Because you'd be playing in the rain, like you don't
- 15:47Speaker 6: want to be playing. So then when you hear waiting
- 15:49Speaker 6: that whole time to hear the air horn.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I think he's more excited that you played in high school.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Yes, because that was the sort of that was the
- 15:58Speaker 5: cheat code to be able to play for free. Oh yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 5: and I just missed it.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So it was like, why did you miss it or
- 16:03Speaker 1: you didn't start playing right.
- 16:05Speaker 6: It's like the I say it all the time. It's
- 16:06Speaker 6: it's easily like for at least where I went to school,
- 16:09Speaker 6: it was the best sport that you could play. Like
- 16:11Speaker 6: it's the only sport in high school that you get
- 16:13Speaker 6: out early for from school because your sun goes down
- 16:16Speaker 6: in the fall. And it's like I think it was
- 16:19Speaker 6: like it's like two hundred dollars a year and then
- 16:21Speaker 6: you play golf every single day on like the nicest
- 16:23Speaker 6: courses in the area. Like we were going to like
- 16:26Speaker 6: like I'm from Massachusetts, so like we were going to
- 16:27Speaker 6: like Cape Cod and playing and like these playing on
- 16:30Speaker 6: these like insane courses in cape Cod for free.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But that's because you grew up in Duxbury, the Luxbury. Oh.
- 16:36Speaker 6: I mean the kids from the other towns were playing
- 16:38Speaker 6: the same courses too.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. The kids from Freeport High School
- 16:41Speaker 3: were not playing because.
- 16:42Speaker 6: You guys didn't have cape Cod. You don't got cape
- 16:44Speaker 6: Cod up there.
- 16:45Speaker 3: We had a couple of nice courses, but they were
- 16:47Speaker 3: playing Freeport Municipal.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Which we have. We have a lot of courses, so
- 16:51Speaker 6: the options are more because of the wealth. I don't know,
- 16:55Speaker 6: because of the wealth or because there just happens to
- 16:57Speaker 6: be more people that golf around there.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Did you have to pay? Did you guys have to
- 17:00Speaker 1: Like who's paying for you to go to these nice courses?
- 17:02Speaker 1: If it's only two hundred dollars a year, they subsidize
- 17:04Speaker 1: it for the children for the youth.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, courses tend to have programs where they allowed local
- 17:11Speaker 3: high schools to use their course for their home course.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Really and in fact, I mean it's crazy, Like Harvard
- 17:19Speaker 3: the country Club was where the Harvard golf team played
- 17:21Speaker 3: their home matches, which is one of the the US
- 17:24Speaker 3: Open venue. It's like one of the fanciest places in
- 17:26Speaker 3: the country. Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 6: We played at the private course and where I'm from
- 17:31Speaker 6: it's amazing. Yeah, it was insane.
- 17:32Speaker 3: What was that called the yacht club? The yacht Club.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Yeah, see what I'm saying, Like.
- 17:38Speaker 3: It's cool. It's like this weird outreach thing that that
- 17:41Speaker 3: fancy clubs do where they're like, yeah, well you know
- 17:44Speaker 3: we got the local kids coming in.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, well because it's probably it's future future members.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean half people on the team were members.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Anyway, there you go.
- 17:53Speaker 6: Yeah, so that kind of always sucked. You'd go to
- 17:55Speaker 6: tryouts and there'd be kids that just know the course
- 17:57Speaker 6: completely and you're like, I don't know what any if
- 18:00Speaker 6: this looks like it would have.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Been so nice to get you in the Internet Invitational.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I think that, and I think that next
- 18:08Speaker 3: year you'll get the look.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think anyone you were on anyone's people
- 18:12Speaker 1: weren't thinking about it.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you weren't.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Should be.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Well, I mean, I'd love to, but I also totally understand,
- 18:17Speaker 5: you know not it's fun.
- 18:20Speaker 3: You don't post on social media, and if you started
- 18:23Speaker 3: to post a little bit more of golf content or
- 18:25Speaker 3: if you and I went and made a video and
- 18:27Speaker 3: people realized, one you're very good and two you're hysterical.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I think that's a good way.
- 18:34Speaker 1: In Yeah, what about being a golfing content creator for
- 18:37Speaker 1: the rest of your life or something like that.
- 18:38Speaker 5: That'd be sick incredible.
- 18:40Speaker 6: I mean golf. So golf's your big thing, golf's your
- 18:42Speaker 6: main thing.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Well, I do love it.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Yeah, you love it. How many times a week do
- 18:47Speaker 6: you play recently? You know, quite quite a bit every day,
- 18:52Speaker 6: pretty close damn.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Keep wearing golf shoes.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, but I've done that before, to the most
- 18:58Speaker 6: comfortable shoe in the world, Like through the streets of
- 19:03Speaker 6: New York.
- 19:03Speaker 5: It rained, I'm going to wear you know.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Yeah, you're gonna be walking home in soggy shoes. I'm
- 19:08Speaker 6: not saying you can't.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I'm just saying this is a man who lives the hobby.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Like imagine if like I was out on the street
- 19:19Speaker 3: right now and I was like, how far away is
- 19:21Speaker 3: that building and just pulled out a range. Fine, I
- 19:24Speaker 3: guess I have to walk four hundred yards, you know.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Luckily I'm with the wind.
- 19:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I do wear them.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Yeah, I love it. I love it.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you've been playing a lot, dude. I mean when
- 19:41Speaker 3: you and I played, because you and I played, what
- 19:44Speaker 3: a year or two ago, two years ago probably, and
- 19:47Speaker 3: you shot eighties maybe something like that.
- 19:50Speaker 5: No, I think that was that was low nineties.
- 19:51Speaker 3: That was okay, And now you're breaking eighty routinely, decent amount. Sure,
- 19:56Speaker 3: what's your index now?
- 19:56Speaker 6: So you are you scratched? No?
- 19:58Speaker 5: No, not even close? Seven nine.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fantastic, your single digit heading towards dig five
- 20:05Speaker 3: four like.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Something like that. Yeah, what were you at your last year?
- 20:09Speaker 3: When I was at my lowest, I was down to
- 20:11Speaker 3: two point four.
- 20:12Speaker 6: That's incredible.
- 20:13Speaker 3: But that was the case for like two weeks. And
- 20:15Speaker 3: then it like it throws out certain scores because I
- 20:18Speaker 3: had two rounds of like I had like a seventy
- 20:20Speaker 3: two and a seventy three. Was that par or one
- 20:23Speaker 3: over seventy two at bayone where we played it's one over.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Par p twenty one?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but the course is rated pretty hard, so like
- 20:32Speaker 3: if you do well there, you it's better for your
- 20:35Speaker 3: handicap than say, or brings your hand.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Oh, it's like weighted like that.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It's yeah, it's rated difficult.
- 20:41Speaker 6: Interesting, I never kept track of any of that shit.
- 20:44Speaker 6: I never knew my handicap or anything, but I can't
- 20:46Speaker 6: imagine it was very good.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I mean, dude, you said you used to shoot low
- 20:50Speaker 3: forties on nine hole matches, right.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, But it was like it depended on the
- 20:54Speaker 6: course of course. Sure, obviously, like if I played like
- 20:56Speaker 6: our home course, yeah, I could definitely shoot low forties.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I would bet that you were like somewhere between an
- 21:00Speaker 3: eight and ten maybe.
- 21:02Speaker 6: But the thing is I would play on like other
- 21:04Speaker 6: courses and I would blow up.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 21:06Speaker 6: In the hundreds.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Oh, I mean I shot a hundred at Deep Down
- 21:11Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago, literally on.
- 21:13Speaker 6: The number one hundred. Our first tryout was embarrassing the
- 21:16Speaker 6: first tryout ever, did they It's obviously there's like a
- 21:20Speaker 6: bunch of people that try out, so there's like a
- 21:22Speaker 6: ton of tea time. So they have to start at
- 21:24Speaker 6: like five am because it's a public it's a public course.
- 21:27Speaker 6: The one that we were playing at the tryout wasn't
- 21:29Speaker 6: where that wasn't at the home course. It was like
- 21:32Speaker 6: two towns over and uh so you had to get up.
- 21:35Speaker 6: You had to leave at like four am to get there.
- 21:38Speaker 6: And then I got there and the first time I
- 21:40Speaker 6: tried out. I didn't make the team the first year.
- 21:41Speaker 6: The first time I tried out, I shot a one
- 21:43Speaker 6: to eighteen.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Damn.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah that's bad.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Just kept like every hole I would blow up. Sure,
- 21:48Speaker 6: yeah it was. It was so fucking brutal.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Did you cry?
- 21:52Speaker 6: No? I didn't cry, but it was like you're you're close. Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 6: well you can.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Feel it, yeah yeah, like vales.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I also played like in mid I played like
- 22:05Speaker 6: in middle school. But you know when you play, like
- 22:07Speaker 6: when you're first starting to play, like like I was
- 22:09Speaker 6: just talking to one of my friends, my friend bo
- 22:11Speaker 6: is getting into golf, and like he he was like, yeah,
- 22:14Speaker 6: I played. Uh we played nine. Like I shot like
- 22:16Speaker 6: a forty eight. That's pretty good, right, And I've seen
- 22:19Speaker 6: him swing the club he can't hit the ball, And
- 22:21Speaker 6: I'm like, yeah, but you didn't actually shoot a forty eight,
- 22:24Speaker 6: like you think you shot a four, like you're not.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Like I feel like once you go from like playing
- 22:28Speaker 6: by the rules to then actually playing by the rules,
- 22:31Speaker 6: it adds like fifteen strokes. Yeah yeah. Yeah. So it's
- 22:36Speaker 6: like I went into that tryout being like I shoot
- 22:38Speaker 6: in the forties like I'm fine, right, and then it's
- 22:41Speaker 6: like oh, no more mulligans, no more free drops like
- 22:44Speaker 6: anything like that, and then it goes up to one eighteen.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I mean, dude, beyond that even I would say like
- 22:50Speaker 3: ninety percent of the golf that I play now as
- 22:53Speaker 3: far as rounds go, uh, is you end up playing
- 22:56Speaker 3: match play with like my friends.
- 22:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so very often you'll be like, I'm out of
- 23:01Speaker 3: the hole, and then the most you can take per
- 23:03Speaker 3: your handicap is usually a double bogie. But that's not
- 23:07Speaker 3: what I shot, right because you know I would if
- 23:10Speaker 3: I had had to actually like take the proper drop
- 23:13Speaker 3: and my partner, you know, in my score it mattered,
- 23:15Speaker 3: and I'd had to finish the whole whole ball and hole,
- 23:17Speaker 3: like maybe I would have made a nine. Yeah, And
- 23:21Speaker 3: that's you know, that's where like the handicap thing comes
- 23:24Speaker 3: becomes a little inaccurate.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Is when you guys play now, like you obviously get
- 23:28Speaker 6: paired up with people like randomly like do you are there?
- 23:32Speaker 6: Do you do? People cheat like the way like when
- 23:34Speaker 6: I was I've talked about this too, well when I
- 23:36Speaker 6: was in high school, like everyone was cheating on both teams.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Well it's not that I mean, like I don't think people,
- 23:44Speaker 5: but nobody's getting their actual score. Yeah, yeah, there's I
- 23:50Speaker 5: mean that would be your experience too, right. It's everybody
- 23:54Speaker 5: said to match play or just whatever they're shooting. It's
- 24:00Speaker 5: rare to find somebody that actually counts like everybe or yeah, yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 5: pots everything out.
- 24:06Speaker 6: I mean we used to have like, we used to
- 24:08Speaker 6: have kids that would play in practice and we would
- 24:11Speaker 6: do like only eight people can be in like the
- 24:13Speaker 6: starting lineup, So they would we would do practice and
- 24:16Speaker 6: it'd essentially like base who was starting by how practice went.
- 24:20Speaker 6: And you would have kids that would shoot like double par,
- 24:23Speaker 6: and then they would come back from practice and they'd
- 24:25Speaker 6: be like, yeah, I shot two under and the coach
- 24:27Speaker 6: would be like, wow, you're really improving. And then it's
- 24:30Speaker 6: like no, like what do you think happened between yesterday
- 24:33Speaker 6: and today? He's like no, he's lying.
- 24:35Speaker 3: You take the limitless.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Yeah, And then they would go to the tournament and
- 24:40Speaker 6: get fucking smoked.
- 24:41Speaker 3: That's crazy that the coach wasn't out on the course
- 24:43Speaker 3: to monitor people.
- 24:44Speaker 6: He is, but he can't monitor everyone right because it's
- 24:47Speaker 6: so spread out. But he would be like in a
- 24:49Speaker 6: cart and he'd like drive around, Oh, something.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Just happened right before you got here. I have a
- 24:56Speaker 3: question for you guys, which is this. So I just
- 25:00Speaker 3: walked into the Poke Bowl place to get lunch, and
- 25:05Speaker 3: as I was about to walk in, a girl was
- 25:07Speaker 3: arriving just after me. So I opened the door and
- 25:11Speaker 3: held it for her, and then we walked in, and
- 25:16Speaker 3: then she got in line in front of me.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it's insane.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I completely agree. I'm not seating my place in line
- 25:27Speaker 3: to you. I'm being polite about the door. Once inside,
- 25:31Speaker 3: you should relinquish my place to me without question. Good.
- 25:37Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I mean I couldn't believe it. I was. I was
- 25:42Speaker 3: so not happy.
- 25:44Speaker 6: But then what's the right move there? Don't hold the
- 25:46Speaker 6: door for her? No, or hold the door in the
- 25:48Speaker 6: way where you're still in front of her.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I think I opened the door and if I see
- 25:51Speaker 3: she's not going to give it back, I pick up
- 25:52Speaker 3: the pace and go around. Yeah, but there's not much
- 25:55Speaker 3: room between the door and then, so I would have
- 25:57Speaker 3: had to be really aggressive, and knowing now that women
- 26:02Speaker 3: are monsters, I will going forward. But the like, the
- 26:08Speaker 3: logical extension to this for me is like there's nothing
- 26:13Speaker 3: chivalrous or or expected as far as chivalry, Like if
- 26:17Speaker 3: I were in line and she came behind me, I
- 26:20Speaker 3: wouldn't be like, oh, please go ahead, No, never, which
- 26:22Speaker 3: is what she almost effectively assumed.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:25Speaker 3: That is like the extension of her thinking is that
- 26:28Speaker 3: he's opening the door and allowing me to go in first,
- 26:31Speaker 3: which means, by extension, he is seeding his place in
- 26:33Speaker 3: line to me.
- 26:35Speaker 6: I mean, I don't really think. To be honest, I
- 26:37Speaker 6: don't know if you have that place in line until.
- 26:38Speaker 5: You're in line. Can you imagine how relaxing it would
- 26:42Speaker 5: be to be that woman?
- 26:44Speaker 6: Oh, she doesn't give a fuck. Just never line, cut
- 26:49Speaker 6: the line.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Because none of this is going through.
- 26:51Speaker 6: She was probably pitched she had to wait in line
- 26:52Speaker 6: at all. She probably walked in there and was like,
- 26:54Speaker 6: I shouldn't even have to wait in line.
- 26:57Speaker 5: She wasn't anything.
- 27:00Speaker 3: That's the world is just open to her.
- 27:04Speaker 6: What would you guys say, same kind of question for
- 27:07Speaker 6: an elevator. If you're on an elevator and there's a
- 27:09Speaker 6: lady on the elevator and you get off the elevator,
- 27:12Speaker 6: does the lady have to go first?
- 27:14Speaker 3: Yes, but that's total Again, that's just the same as
- 27:17Speaker 3: the door.
- 27:17Speaker 6: That's opening the door. Okay, so now let me give
- 27:19Speaker 6: you a more specific scenario. You get into an elevator
- 27:23Speaker 6: and there's a guy and a girl in the elevator,
- 27:26Speaker 6: most likely together in this scenario, and they're in the back.
- 27:32Speaker 6: They're taking up the back two corners. You get in,
- 27:34Speaker 6: you stand right in front of the door. Yeah, you land,
- 27:39Speaker 6: and then you get out. You're just getting out.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Of the way.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I get it crowded and it's logistically difficult, or it
- 27:45Speaker 3: gets awkward from an exit standpoint to see the elevator
- 27:50Speaker 3: exit to the woman or whatever. Yeah, go ahead. Obviously,
- 27:52Speaker 3: I don't think anyone would argue with that. I've been
- 27:54Speaker 3: in a packed elevators. I got into it where there's
- 27:57Speaker 3: some older woman in the back and I'm not gonna
- 27:59Speaker 3: be like everyone out of the way.
- 28:01Speaker 6: She's going then crawls out.
- 28:04Speaker 3: But if it's a couple, I'm still I'm giving I
- 28:08Speaker 3: want any everyone to get out of the elevator before me.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Okay, So I had a situation at the office here
- 28:14Speaker 6: where that exact thing happened, and then when I got out,
- 28:16Speaker 6: she said so much for ladies first.
- 28:20Speaker 3: So your response to that should have been I'm sorry,
- 28:22Speaker 3: I didn't know you were a woman.
- 28:27Speaker 6: I didn't say anything I just kept looking. I was
- 28:29Speaker 6: so uncomforted.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Because that will really piss them off.
- 28:33Speaker 6: But it's like like I hold the door for people
- 28:36Speaker 6: all the time. But like in elevators, I've done that before.
- 28:39Speaker 5: That's wonderful.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I had that one time. I landed it. I stuck
- 28:43Speaker 3: the landing.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Wow.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Because she also was very androgynous looking.
- 28:48Speaker 6: Well okay, but I didn't know.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I knew she was a woman because she was like
- 28:55Speaker 3: I guess. She was like, I guess chivalry is dead,
- 28:57Speaker 3: similar thing. Yeah, yeah, And I was like, I'm sorry,
- 28:59Speaker 3: I didn't realize you were a woman. I didn't say anything.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I was like, what the fuck. I was like, at
- 29:03Speaker 3: the door opens itself. No one's holding the door for anybody.
- 29:05Speaker 3: It's an automatic door. This is a very old fashioned gallant.
- 29:09Speaker 6: But this wasn't an old fashioned lady. It was a
- 29:11Speaker 6: modern made a lady of the time.
- 29:13Speaker 3: But she clearly expects it, so she is subscribing to
- 29:18Speaker 3: an age old practice.
- 29:20Speaker 6: Good. Yeah, that is.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Not It was my surgery. I'm getting surgery on my
- 29:25Speaker 1: need tomorrow. Yeah yeah, yeah, I got a brain. I
- 29:32Speaker 1: got I've been rocking a brace. I've been rocking pants
- 29:34Speaker 1: all summer. Usually I'm not a verse to shorts, but
- 29:36Speaker 1: I've been rocking pants all summer to hide my shame.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Already, guys, let's talk about shady rays.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Quick question.
- 29:42Speaker 6: How are my shady rays basically the same quality as
- 29:44Speaker 6: the two hundred dollars sun classes I used to buy?

- 32:13Speaker 1: But they were just on the phone. They were like
- 32:15Speaker 1: and uh like would you like to see a chaplain before.
- 32:18Speaker 6: The oh mager?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Godd what does that mean? What the fuck are you
- 32:24Speaker 1: talking about? They think you're gonna die some multi faith
- 32:27Speaker 1: And I was like, but is this like a last
- 32:29Speaker 1: rights thing? Yeah? Like what are you talking about there?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Like some people get communion Like no, no, no, it's
- 32:34Speaker 1: not last rites. But I was like, what that would
- 32:36Speaker 1: make me so much more nervous, like some priests coming
- 32:39Speaker 1: in and blessing me before.
- 32:40Speaker 6: Okay, next question is your will in order?
- 32:42Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you have it next to me?
- 32:46Speaker 6: Things don't usually go wrong on the knee surgery, but
- 32:49Speaker 6: they have.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we'll have died.
- 32:51Speaker 1: How did Kanye's mom go? Because I feel like it
- 32:53Speaker 1: was some shit like that knee surgery. It wasn't maybe
- 32:56Speaker 1: not knee, but was she maybe bbl or something like that,
- 33:00Speaker 1: something like that.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Wait, actually, yeah, it's respectful.
- 33:04Speaker 6: His mom died in like an insane way.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's just like a standard, a standard procedure, And that's
- 33:08Speaker 1: what freaks me out about it.
- 33:10Speaker 6: Plastic surgery. Oh, fair enough. Do you think that's a first? Yeah?
- 33:14Speaker 6: Do you think people die during plastic surgery? That's happened? Yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 6: that's fucking insane. Bro, imagine a new ass and dying.
- 33:25Speaker 1: My wife's friend was over the other night talking about
- 33:27Speaker 1: this doctor she knows that does a thousand body makeover
- 33:30Speaker 1: surgeries a year, a thousand a year, a thousand bodies.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And it's like he has like a signature body that
- 33:37Speaker 1: he puts out and you could like spot his body
- 33:39Speaker 1: in the wild and be like, oh, that's the body
- 33:41Speaker 1: that this guy makes.
- 33:42Speaker 6: Wait, so what does that even mean? What is that?
- 33:43Speaker 6: You just get everything everything tits ass Tom tuck that like.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Your whole body They just like rip your skin around
- 33:51Speaker 1: your skeleton in a certain way.
- 33:53Speaker 6: What if you're a dude? Can dudes get that? Like?
- 33:54Speaker 6: Can I get that? Could I get a full body
- 33:56Speaker 6: of repair? You should? What would they do? What would
- 34:00Speaker 6: they do?
- 34:00Speaker 3: Though, cabs implants. They would probably.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Pick you honestly, could probably pick and choose for guys.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Tummy tuck probably like pump your whatever that make you skinnier, skinnier,
- 34:18Speaker 3: and then they would do maybe tri sep in plants,
- 34:21Speaker 3: bicep in plants. Uh, A lot with your face, there
- 34:26Speaker 3: would be a lot.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yeah, a town in cheek bones.
- 34:30Speaker 6: Looking like black face after they're done with the.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Multiple sharp for sure.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Yeah, when you know something's.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Wrong, no, dude, I like no, no, no, it was terrible.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Yeah yeah on like man chains at some point. But
- 34:51Speaker 5: because I tore my HANDI playing kickball adulta kickball, I don't.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Think I knew that.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Yeah, it was tore it, but not to where it
- 35:00Speaker 5: needed surgery. But I had to wear I had to
- 35:02Speaker 5: wear I to use crutches.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Yeah, and then the way it happened was like we
- 35:08Speaker 5: I'd actually moved back from New York. I lived here
- 35:10Speaker 5: for like a year and a half and then joined
- 35:12Speaker 5: the adult League kickball and was just part of like.
- 35:16Speaker 1: The group that was like team building for to make
- 35:18Speaker 1: friends and stuff.
- 35:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Nice.
- 35:19Speaker 5: And then the first time we played, everybody was wearing cleats.
- 35:22Speaker 5: So then I got cleats for the second time, and
- 35:24Speaker 5: I guess, you know, I just like hadn't been used
- 35:27Speaker 5: to wearing cleats, and so I kind of hit one
- 35:29Speaker 5: to third and then tried to take a big step
- 35:31Speaker 5: and then just went straight there. Oh oh my god.
- 35:35Speaker 5: Immediately it was just like something is so wrong and irreversible,
- 35:41Speaker 5: and this is going to take me out for a while.
- 35:43Speaker 1: It was just was it really painful? Was it like
- 35:46Speaker 1: a crying situation?
- 35:48Speaker 5: It didn't cry, but I could have cried. I sucked
- 35:52Speaker 5: it up. There's a couple of hotties on my teams,
- 35:55Speaker 5: like lifted over to the car.
- 35:57Speaker 6: There trying to get back in.
- 35:59Speaker 5: No. No, at the time I was at Drexel was
- 36:03Speaker 5: finishing up, so I wasn't. It was it was pre
- 36:06Speaker 5: New York then, but anyway, I was in Drexel and
- 36:08Speaker 5: that was in a modern dance class, I needed to credits,
- 36:12Speaker 5: and I remember just she wouldn't let me not participate,
- 36:15Speaker 5: so I would just like stand on the crutchesn't have
- 36:17Speaker 5: to just like crazy.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Modern dance?
- 36:23Speaker 5: Yeah on crutchy, Yeah, just like do something that in.
- 36:27Speaker 1: A pair or like a grouped choreography.
- 36:30Speaker 5: It was what was a class? So it was just
- 36:32Speaker 5: a matter.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Of like it was just you doing like a recital.
- 36:35Speaker 5: No, no, it was a class. So everybody was like
- 36:38Speaker 5: taught to move.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Oh god, it was it a class? Or was it
- 36:44Speaker 3: like an individual to tour?
- 36:47Speaker 5: Why?
- 36:47Speaker 6: I like, did you were you paired with someone else
- 36:50Speaker 6: to dance or was it okay? So like did someone
- 36:53Speaker 6: have to get paired up with you while you were
- 36:55Speaker 6: on crutching?
- 36:55Speaker 5: That's oh, that's the question, understand. No, there was no pairing.
- 36:59Speaker 1: It was a class.
- 37:02Speaker 7: It's about got it.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Like a plane crash?
- 37:12Speaker 6: How many boards in this class? So did you did
- 37:16Speaker 6: you like learn anything cool from the modern dance?
- 37:19Speaker 5: No?
- 37:20Speaker 6: All ship that you could have just learned from watching
- 37:22Speaker 6: Dancing with the Stars and whatnot. Shake it up. I
- 37:24Speaker 6: don't think I learned anything. You guys don't even know
- 37:26Speaker 6: shake it up.
- 37:27Speaker 1: I don't think I do now. Was that a movie?
- 37:30Speaker 6: No, it was like a dancing show on Disney Channel
- 37:32Speaker 6: with Zendia. He was in it. Yeah, I don't think.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I knew that.
- 37:36Speaker 1: It was like a reality show. No, it was awful, terrible,
- 37:40Speaker 1: can't be good.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I went through a dancing phase recently that Shane hated, obviously,
- 37:44Speaker 5: and uh. Then I went on a date with a
- 37:48Speaker 5: woman who had been professionally trained as a dancer, n
- 37:53Speaker 5: y U and I had been working on this one dance.
- 37:57Speaker 5: The was it. It was from the remake of Footloose. This
- 38:00Speaker 5: is like a line dance.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I loved that remake of footlest so many times.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Really, I'm not.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Making this up. Please keep going. We'll talk about it.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Okay, Well I do, because I I'm just the one
- 38:12Speaker 5: scene where they're line dancing is the one that I
- 38:15Speaker 5: and so I was telling her about it obviously on
- 38:17Speaker 5: the date and she was like, let me see it,
- 38:19Speaker 5: and then I was like, absolutely not. But then you know,
- 38:21Speaker 5: we had some drinks. So I did it and she
- 38:23Speaker 5: was like, do it again, and then I did it again.
- 38:25Speaker 5: She was like, you're not moving your upper body at all.
- 38:27Speaker 5: It's like you're so tight. It looks kind of like
- 38:29Speaker 5: Irish is so then the next day like videotape myself
- 38:34Speaker 5: doing it, I have not to dance. It's it's so bad.
- 38:39Speaker 5: That's not what I thought. Like I'm I'm anticipating every
- 38:44Speaker 5: step and it's like a computer just like movements. There's
- 38:49Speaker 5: no but you.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Have a very like natural that you're you don't know me.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I do, absolutely, But if that's what you think, there's
- 38:57Speaker 1: no way. I have a tear terrrible. My body's a
- 39:01Speaker 1: prison as well. No, not at all. And I can't
- 39:05Speaker 1: like operate the fucking uh, I can't operate.
- 39:08Speaker 6: The Francis is the only one that's good.
- 39:12Speaker 1: In the same boat. Really zero coordination of movement. Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 1: it's like I don't have the controls to my vessel.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Believe that if.
- 39:23Speaker 6: I start running downhill, no control of my body.
- 39:27Speaker 3: It is hard to believe with him because he's cool, right, Yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 3: And I think it's easy to assume that someone who's
- 39:33Speaker 3: cool moves well and is like, you know, good dancer, athletic,
- 39:37Speaker 3: he's a battle wrap champion.
- 39:39Speaker 6: But no black people are all good at this is.
- 39:44Speaker 3: How you got there.
- 39:45Speaker 6: A lot of people don't don't know with Rome because
- 39:47Speaker 6: he he like goes out of his way to not
- 39:50Speaker 6: have to do anything like athletic on camera. Yeah, he
- 39:54Speaker 6: refuses athleticism so that he's not exposed for his lack
- 39:57Speaker 6: of coordination.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I mean, I've done athletic things on I've played basketball
- 40:00Speaker 1: and camera plenty of times.
- 40:01Speaker 6: It's an embarrassed but you're but you're playing it in
- 40:03Speaker 6: like a cool way.
- 40:05Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Never we never see you. You never see him at
- 40:08Speaker 6: full sprint.
- 40:09Speaker 3: It's like it's like, check out this half court hook shot. Yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 3: he's like, well, nobody's gonna make it.
- 40:15Speaker 1: But look at this though, Like, well what happens if
- 40:17Speaker 1: I tried to move at full speed? My body would
- 40:20Speaker 1: like it shuts down.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Actually, so that's but it's because your age, so you're
- 40:25Speaker 5: probably moving quickly. I only I can move quick enough
- 40:28Speaker 5: to actually pop it in.
- 40:30Speaker 6: Well you broke your you popped your hamstring, that's true.
- 40:32Speaker 6: But yeah, sure that was wild when he could move.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I love that you specified too, that it was an
- 40:38Speaker 3: adult handball league kickball right, as if we thought like,
- 40:42Speaker 3: oh is it the one that crosses over with the kindergarten?
- 40:45Speaker 3: Is that the child it's not the trials at old
- 40:47Speaker 3: combo team. But it's also like the only sport for
- 40:52Speaker 3: which you had to specify one would have to specify
- 40:55Speaker 3: that no kids are allowed.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's typically good sport.
- 41:01Speaker 6: That's gotta be a brutal Wait, like I played. I
- 41:03Speaker 6: was in like a softball league for like a one
- 41:06Speaker 6: one fall like a couple of years ago, and my
- 41:08Speaker 6: buddy Derek Dresser, uh he he we went out to
- 41:12Speaker 6: Randall's Island at like eight am for this game and
- 41:15Speaker 6: in the first inning he was like, he's obsessed with it.
- 41:18Speaker 6: And the first inning he like, is groin just fucking exploded? Yeah?
- 41:23Speaker 6: What same ship that happened to you?
- 41:25Speaker 1: Is growing popped?
- 41:26Speaker 6: Oh?
- 41:26Speaker 5: But cool?
- 41:27Speaker 6: Get you got a hernia or like something happened something
- 41:30Speaker 6: something to Where.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Is that the groin? Yeah?
- 41:35Speaker 6: Yeah, it's it's the shoot to the penis.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Yeah, because I always knew it from wrestling when they'd
- 41:42Speaker 1: be like like hit him in the groin like it's
- 41:44Speaker 1: a growing shot when it was obviously they couldn't say
- 41:46Speaker 1: penis on air, sure, but then like like pros would
- 41:49Speaker 1: get their groin injured. And I still don't know exactly.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's this muscle in here, in on the inside
- 41:55Speaker 3: of the legs.
- 41:55Speaker 6: Got it?
- 41:56Speaker 1: How do you work it, is it this guy?
- 41:57Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, you would use that that like grip
- 42:01Speaker 3: strengthening device, the big one.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I can't do that. Yeah, that's that's for the ladies
- 42:07Speaker 1: in the gym.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Work out.
- 42:09Speaker 1: That's what you think whenever you see your girl doing it.
- 42:12Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, that's working out. Yeah, you work out's shaming it.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, tightening, I mean that is what people are thinking
- 42:20Speaker 1: that like deep down in their brain, rejuvenating that that
- 42:23Speaker 1: they're they're bejuvenating.
- 42:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a little.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Come, a little undone down.
- 42:27Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, that's like sometimes you gotta hop in the
- 42:29Speaker 6: gym and just tighten up.
- 42:34Speaker 1: So yeah, so it shut. Uh, this is that's this
- 42:36Speaker 1: isn't that kind of podcast though we don't talk.
- 42:40Speaker 5: I'm happy to go ahead.
- 42:42Speaker 1: We just don't talk about that kind of stuff. We're
- 42:43Speaker 1: not really a vagina talk podcast.
- 42:45Speaker 6: Get into that nasty ship.
- 42:47Speaker 3: We respect vaginas.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Of course, we have like a sixty percent female listenership,
- 42:53Speaker 1: is that right? Yeah, yeah, it's more than you would think.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Though. Let's put it this way. Sixty of our female
- 43:00Speaker 3: listenership has loose vagina. That's why we have to stay away.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Wonderful that that kid, Yeah, I fucking playing children's games
- 43:11Speaker 1: like that is, uh, you want to keep on holding
- 43:14Speaker 1: onto it. I biked past the fucking soccer field today
- 43:18Speaker 1: and I was like, I fucking I would love for
- 43:20Speaker 1: a phase of my life to include playing soccer with people.
- 43:23Speaker 1: But then my first thought about that, I was like,
- 43:24Speaker 1: I need to get in like the lowest girls league,
- 43:27Speaker 1: like the lowest co ed league, you know where it's
- 43:30Speaker 1: just like girls who are just trying it for the
- 43:31Speaker 1: first time. But I want to be part of something
- 43:34Speaker 1: like that.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I played a children's soccer league.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I want to get in the children's league. Like that
- 43:39Speaker 1: sounds fun. I pass guys doing it every day. But
- 43:42Speaker 1: then right after college, we did fucking dodgeball and I
- 43:47Speaker 1: like threw the dodgeball so hard that my shoulder just
- 43:49Speaker 1: popped out of its socket.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 43:50Speaker 1: And I like put it back in and I twice
- 43:53Speaker 1: more that same game, same the same shoulder came out
- 43:56Speaker 1: of the milk socket.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's cool.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Twice more in the same game. It fucking it. Like honestly,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I like roll it and it would like like ratchet back.
- 44:09Speaker 5: And falls back into places like slam yourself into.
- 44:12Speaker 1: So I was like, oh, it's not that bad. Back
- 44:14Speaker 1: in and twice more of that game it popped out,
- 44:16Speaker 1: and I was just like, since then my shoulders popped out.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Since then, it's been a rap, just from trying to
- 44:21Speaker 1: do some fucking team building.
- 44:22Speaker 6: How are you going to teach the boys how to throw?
- 44:24Speaker 1: It's gonna have to be I might.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Gonna throw this left hand, and their sons, the sons
- 44:30Speaker 3: are gonna be like Dad's gay.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Dodgeball is a team building it.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's any sport you play with girls is like,
- 44:37Speaker 1: it's not just for the athleticism and to win, it's
- 44:40Speaker 1: partially team building.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I think with girls, isn't it usually like a dating
- 44:44Speaker 3: thing when you do those like co ed leagues?
- 44:47Speaker 6: It's just fucking that was that was my goal.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but you.
- 44:52Speaker 6: Everyone, yes, Yeah, Tearing something is the quickest way to
- 44:57Speaker 6: not fuck with.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Some new girls.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I just love I love the image of you having
- 45:02Speaker 3: a ice breaker conversation with a woman, like, is this
- 45:06Speaker 3: the first time you've done one of these?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:08Speaker 6: Me too.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm up next, I'll see you, I'll see after
- 45:11Speaker 3: good luck and then like expo, Yeah, if you go down.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Oh straightdown. It was like a James Brown against the Wills.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Was it like a thing where like both teams came
- 45:23Speaker 6: out people it.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Was yeah, there was like general concern.
- 45:29Speaker 6: Did he will clap when you got up?
- 45:31Speaker 3: No?
- 45:31Speaker 5: I don't recall the clapping. It was just utterly humiliated.
- 45:34Speaker 6: There's probably no audience's probably no when like when we
- 45:36Speaker 6: were there when I played hockey, like when someone got up,
- 45:38Speaker 6: everyone would like smack their sticks on ice. Yeah, I
- 45:42Speaker 6: didn't know if they did something. Maybe they but.
- 45:51Speaker 5: The uh the first time before the cleats, I remember
- 45:55Speaker 5: I was playing first and I didn't have my foot
- 45:57Speaker 5: on the bag because it was like, you know, terrifying,
- 45:59Speaker 5: was like running at me full speed. There was an
- 46:02Speaker 5: attractive woman on the other team and she ran first
- 46:05Speaker 5: and then got there and was like his foot wasn't
- 46:07Speaker 5: on the bag, And I was like.
- 46:10Speaker 6: Yeah, you didn't want to make her uncomfortable.
- 46:11Speaker 5: Yeah, you'd be a perv.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be like, yeah, no, one didn't.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Want to get my ankle run over by some big bitch,
- 46:20Speaker 3: don't And she was pretty you said right, because.
- 46:23Speaker 5: I said, oh that was tall team.
- 46:25Speaker 3: And I was like, did you have something planned with her?
- 46:28Speaker 3: Like would you have said something to.
- 46:31Speaker 5: Trying to everyone's mingling afterwards?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Do you think getting her out would have behooved your
- 46:36Speaker 3: chances more than not having it was.
- 46:38Speaker 5: Solely because I'm like, this is adultly, keep up, Like
- 46:41Speaker 5: why are we even risking it? High probability, low probability,
- 46:44Speaker 5: high backed event, Like.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Well, because women still are attracted to men that are,
- 46:49Speaker 3: you know, athletic and yeah proficient, right.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I didn't know that at that point.
- 46:54Speaker 1: But in softball they have the double wide base now,
- 46:57Speaker 1: like they have a base for you to stand on
- 46:59Speaker 1: in a base for.
- 46:59Speaker 5: The runner a pioneer.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you were, honestly, like you just needed that double
- 47:03Speaker 1: y bass and you would have been fine. You probably
- 47:06Speaker 1: be married to this woman.
- 47:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I don't know, Like what are you
- 47:08Speaker 6: supposed to do? Like, what are you gonna like It's
- 47:09Speaker 6: not like you're gonna like grab the ball and then
- 47:11Speaker 6: be like standing at first ready to fucking lay her
- 47:13Speaker 6: out when she gets there.
- 47:15Speaker 5: Well, but if you catch her with your foot on
- 47:18Speaker 5: the bag, then.
- 47:18Speaker 6: She's out autoatically, you should have what if she tried
- 47:21Speaker 6: to steal? Do you think you would have tried to
- 47:22Speaker 6: get her?
- 47:24Speaker 3: Would you have beaned her? What I have been her
- 47:27Speaker 3: beaning is a way to get people out in kickball.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Right, I suppose I would have at a bean or would.
- 47:32Speaker 3: You have thrown it to second to try to get
- 47:34Speaker 3: her out that way?
- 47:35Speaker 5: I think I would have thrown it at her.
- 47:37Speaker 7: Yeah right, yeah, because because why what if you hit
- 47:40Speaker 7: her in the butt.
- 47:41Speaker 5: I'm just going off of you never know how you
- 47:44Speaker 5: react and I don't know.
- 47:45Speaker 6: I just you know what if you can't throw what
- 47:49Speaker 6: the fuck was that that hurt? And then you're like,
- 47:51Speaker 6: I'm sorry, I don't know what happened.
- 47:52Speaker 1: But you have to throw it hard enough that's going
- 47:54Speaker 1: to get her. Yeah, like are you chess passing it?
- 48:00Speaker 1: You have to throw it the way that will risk
- 48:02Speaker 1: your shoulder.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Yeah. Co ed sports are just too uncomfortable.
- 48:06Speaker 5: That's yeah. I feel like I do find it uncomfortable.
- 48:09Speaker 5: But I think it's also because the only like software
- 48:14Speaker 5: running on my brain while that's going on is like
- 48:16Speaker 5: who can I date?
- 48:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 48:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's tricky. It is a balancing act because you
- 48:22Speaker 3: want to compete well, but you also want to flirt
- 48:24Speaker 3: and yeah right, and appear. And I think I think
- 48:29Speaker 3: a lot of the women that sign up for those
- 48:31Speaker 3: things are like fierce competitors. Yes, it's been my experience
- 48:36Speaker 3: when I've done like I did a co Ed Soccer
- 48:38Speaker 3: League once and it was like, yes, stay out of
- 48:41Speaker 3: the women's way.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Soccer is a high t space.
- 48:46Speaker 3: They're not here to meet us, they're here to meet
- 48:48Speaker 3: each other. They're here to like find fellow survivors.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Your coach did that too, And like, like there's videos
- 48:58Speaker 1: of these of the women's soccer players. Have you ever seen,
- 49:00Speaker 1: like the violent ones like Solo? I mean, she's a
- 49:04Speaker 1: classic she beat up her husband, But like those the
- 49:06Speaker 1: girls that like yank each other's hair to the ground,
- 49:09Speaker 1: and like, oh yeah, they're out of each other. Her animals,
- 49:13Speaker 1: they're high tea animals. Bro, you do not want to
- 49:16Speaker 1: funk with them.
- 49:17Speaker 6: They're way scarier than like a scary dude.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Steve, and I was listening to you on Matt and
- 49:22Speaker 3: Shane's and I know that you're a huge fan of
- 49:24Speaker 3: kind of lingus.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Okay, sure, but this isn't that kind of pod.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Oh but yeah, don't so don't bring that up.
- 49:33Speaker 5: No, But the only reticence I have is that that
- 49:38Speaker 5: is like a season three sort of season three of
- 49:41Speaker 5: Tires coming out October August thirteenth.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Okay, that's it.
- 49:48Speaker 6: You're doing condo lingus and see it in three there's a.
- 49:51Speaker 5: Talk about it, there's talk about Yeah, I don't.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Think we would have buried the lead if you hadn't
- 49:57Speaker 3: said that, that wouldn't have been a spoiler until because
- 50:04Speaker 3: you talked about it on Matt and Shane's.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 6: Absolutely with the pillow, right.
- 50:07Speaker 5: The pillow, Oh sure, Yeah, what was the pillow again?
- 50:10Speaker 5: For my knees?
- 50:11Speaker 3: It's for your knees, yeah, I see, not to lift
- 50:13Speaker 3: her mats.
- 50:15Speaker 6: What's like the gardening mats that like people use.
- 50:18Speaker 5: It was just run of the mill pillow, you know,
- 50:22Speaker 5: just for me comfort.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 3: A lot of the women they don't have they have
- 50:26Speaker 3: hardwood floors. Yeah, so it gets uncomfortable and if you're
- 50:29Speaker 3: down there for a while, yeah, I could see see
- 50:31Speaker 3: that for sure.
- 50:32Speaker 5: The only one you're not.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Oh no, I just don't tend to talk about it
- 50:36Speaker 3: too much.
- 50:40Speaker 1: He likes to lay flat on his belly with his knees.
- 50:43Speaker 5: Yeah, got it.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Are never touching it ground like.
- 50:46Speaker 1: He's reading a good book, he's reading poetry.
- 50:48Speaker 6: Yeah. The only thing that's touching the ground would be
- 50:50Speaker 6: his like upper thigh.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Actually, what I do is I usually i'm yeah, I'm
- 50:54Speaker 3: flat on my belly and then I hold my ankles
- 50:57Speaker 3: behind me that I don't touch the ground.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Or if a pure airplane will get it done to legs.
- 51:06Speaker 3: I will add workout.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Yeah, is a standard variety pillow too too narrow for
- 51:14Speaker 1: your knees? Do you have to have your knees touching
- 51:16Speaker 1: one another? Or is it a longer pillow standard variety
- 51:20Speaker 1: and your knees are a little bit closer.
- 51:22Speaker 5: It's just on the ground.
- 51:23Speaker 1: But I'm just thinking, like, do we have like a
- 51:25Speaker 1: standard pillow anywhere? So I feel like pillows like a
- 51:28Speaker 1: regular pillows like this wide, which is like just.
- 51:31Speaker 3: That's like a camping pillow. That's a camping pillow. That's
- 51:34Speaker 3: too small.
- 51:35Speaker 1: So oh oh oh, a head pillow. I'm thinking of
- 51:37Speaker 1: a couch pillow, a throw pillow. I was thinking of
- 51:40Speaker 1: a throw pillow. Okay, throw pillow. You have to kind
- 51:42Speaker 1: of have your knees together.
- 51:43Speaker 3: It needs to be together, right, But on a.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Regular size that you just showed was the size of
- 51:47Speaker 6: a napkin. I'm saying, like a standard pillows about this,
- 51:53Speaker 6: A throw pillow.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Is not this big?
- 51:55Speaker 3: No, he's right, that's a throat pillow.
- 51:57Speaker 1: How big would you say?
- 51:58Speaker 5: Like it's like this, I mean throws come in all
- 52:01Speaker 5: different sides.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Yes, throw, they sure, which is part of the and
- 52:06Speaker 3: you want to Yeah, yeah, they're all the same.
- 52:09Speaker 1: It's the small ones on the inside.
- 52:11Speaker 6: I got a new cow. I got a couch. Well,
- 52:13Speaker 6: I got a couch finally this weekend, and it actually
- 52:15Speaker 6: it came with two throw pillows. How nice? Is that?
- 52:18Speaker 5: Very nice? A little treat.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah, the couch came with too throat.
- 52:20Speaker 1: It came to throw. I think that standard. I think
- 52:23Speaker 1: most couches come with throw.
- 52:24Speaker 6: Well, when I got my Amazon Classic a couple of
- 52:26Speaker 6: years ago, that came with just the couch, got an
- 52:29Speaker 6: Amazon Classic, it was a great couch, the beauty of
- 52:31Speaker 6: the beauty of a couch. But by this time I
- 52:33Speaker 6: went wayfair, very nice, very convenient. Yeah, two pieces. It
- 52:37Speaker 6: came in.
- 52:38Speaker 1: You're gonna want more throw pillows. Honestly.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Season three of Tires is coming out. When is it
- 52:44Speaker 3: coming out?
- 52:45Speaker 5: August thirteenth?
- 52:46Speaker 3: Lovely not in this season, unfortunately.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Not.
- 52:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's okay. You guys have been very generous to
- 52:52Speaker 3: me over the years. I'm thrilled to have been in
- 52:54Speaker 3: seasons one and two.
- 52:55Speaker 5: I mean, you're so good in it, and I'm sure
- 52:57Speaker 5: you'll be back.
- 52:59Speaker 6: I have.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I'm not going to hold you to that.
- 53:01Speaker 6: Well, I mean, he just confirmed it. He said, no, no, no,
- 53:04Speaker 6: you're coming back.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Are you listed as a creator of the show. That's right,
- 53:08Speaker 1: You're the face, so you could easily say no, who
- 53:13Speaker 1: made the call?
- 53:14Speaker 6: Was it you or Shane?
- 53:16Speaker 1: The show?
- 53:16Speaker 5: There was no no Francis decision ever made. It was
- 53:20Speaker 5: just a matter of the story.
- 53:22Speaker 3: The story I didn't fit in. I think originally John
- 53:25Speaker 3: told me originally.
- 53:25Speaker 6: That I was, Yeah, it's so hard, dude, I get it.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Yeah again, you don't hear me.
- 53:30Speaker 5: I know, I know, I know you should know.
- 53:32Speaker 6: Me and Roan are furious, understand.
- 53:35Speaker 1: He was like, you're going to need to fight this
- 53:36Speaker 1: battle for find out why.
- 53:40Speaker 5: It is so much fun. And you know, I'm very biased,
- 53:45Speaker 5: just my opinion. I know he wouldn't want me, but
- 53:47Speaker 5: like Shane is lights out. Yeah, he's so good.
- 53:52Speaker 3: I love that.
- 53:52Speaker 5: I can't wait to everybody's great, dude, everybody's.
- 53:54Speaker 3: You're really good. I don't know the number of people
- 53:58Speaker 3: who talk to me and say that guy, nobody knows
- 54:03Speaker 3: your real name.
- 54:04Speaker 5: That's great.
- 54:06Speaker 3: A shout out to how your humility, But like when
- 54:09Speaker 3: they all know you by your character's name the guy
- 54:11Speaker 3: who plays will the guy who runs the place. That
- 54:14Speaker 3: guy is so funny.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Everybody says that that's me incredibly.
- 54:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Did you ever talk about why your name wouldn't work
- 54:20Speaker 1: for your character?
- 54:22Speaker 5: Yeah, well I just wanted separation, got it and then
- 54:26Speaker 5: it's fair.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but is Shane.
- 54:28Speaker 5: Yeah, because I we talked about that. But yeah, I
- 54:31Speaker 5: was like Sean and he was like just called machine.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Guy and I was almost surprised you guys didn't name
- 54:38Speaker 3: me Francis. Yeah, because in his sketches he often will
- 54:42Speaker 3: have Your.
- 54:43Speaker 5: Character is very based off of a real life Uh.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Yeah, oh someone else or me?
- 54:49Speaker 5: No, someone else?
- 54:50Speaker 3: Oh really?
- 54:51Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 54:51Speaker 6: Oh I didn't know that.
- 54:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I had no idea.
- 54:55Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 54:56Speaker 5: There's a real guy. There was a guy that works
- 54:58Speaker 5: for my dad that was like.
- 54:59Speaker 6: Oh you did this, you did tell me this?
- 55:01Speaker 5: Okay, just was an incredible salesman, had a horrific cocaine
- 55:11Speaker 5: into and he always doing something yeah and getting fired
- 55:15Speaker 5: and coming back robbed him at one point. Yeah, dude,
- 55:20Speaker 5: my dad is one of my favorite stories. My dad
- 55:23Speaker 5: was he was so my dad's Jewish, my mom's also Jewish.
- 55:27Speaker 6: She converted.
- 55:29Speaker 5: But what's what from Catholicism to Judio. Oh really yeah,
- 55:34Speaker 5: but back when there was like seventy nine or eighty,
- 55:38Speaker 5: he had his first shopping king of pressure and he
- 55:40Speaker 5: was interviewing this guy and uh, he's you know, asked
- 55:44Speaker 5: him like, why did you leave your last job? And
- 55:45Speaker 5: then guy goes, did you ever work for a fucking Jew?
- 55:48Speaker 5: And my dad's sitting there and everybody's listening to it.
- 55:50Speaker 5: So then, you know, I asked her, so what did
- 55:52Speaker 5: you do? And he goes, oh, I hired him from
- 55:56Speaker 5: eight years just like he done that any so, and
- 56:02Speaker 5: I think that's just the fast of the business. People
- 56:04Speaker 5: come and.
- 56:04Speaker 6: Go, yeah, yeah, did your dad ever let him know?
- 56:08Speaker 5: Oh I'm sure everybody did. Yeah.
- 56:09Speaker 6: Yeah, what a way to lead an interview.
- 56:12Speaker 3: That's amazing. What a bold thing to said he must
- 56:16Speaker 3: all anti semitic.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Yeah, when you assume everybody thinks the same thing as you,
- 56:21Speaker 1: it is it's so it's like so cocky to be racist,
- 56:24Speaker 1: to just be like everyone everyone is too we all,
- 56:26Speaker 1: we all.
- 56:27Speaker 6: I mean, he must have been so confident that your
- 56:29Speaker 6: dad was not like not even was he not Jewish.
- 56:32Speaker 6: He must have been confident that your dad hated Jews, right,
- 56:35Speaker 6: And he was just wrong on everything.
- 56:37Speaker 5: Yeah, he doesn't have my dad's son a very Jewish
- 56:40Speaker 5: affect at all. Oh yeah, are you Jewish Jewish?
- 56:43Speaker 1: I mean undercovered Jews.
- 56:49Speaker 5: Well, I mean that was bar mitzvah.
- 56:51Speaker 6: But so you're full on Jewish.
- 56:54Speaker 5: Yeah, but I don't, you know, not not practicing.
- 56:56Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, my dad's Jewish, my mom's not. Though I'm not.
- 57:00Speaker 6: I didn't like grow up Jewish.
- 57:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:02Speaker 3: I didn't know this, dude, because if I had, I'll
- 57:04Speaker 3: be honest, I'm glad I'm not in season three because
- 57:06Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to work.
- 57:08Speaker 6: Yeah, sounds like a nightmare.
- 57:15Speaker 1: We should have for you. I don't think it's too late.
- 57:18Speaker 5: I think there you go, that's fun.
- 57:20Speaker 1: That would party, a really nice party. What do people
- 57:22Speaker 1: spend on.
- 57:23Speaker 5: And go ahead? Sorry, I don't know you like you
- 57:26Speaker 5: could have a competition when he's reading the half Torah,
- 57:28Speaker 5: like if you laugh, you have to leave. Oh yeah,
- 57:31Speaker 5: the room. That's actually Matt McCusker man. This is like
- 57:34Speaker 5: back in the day. He I don't know if I should,
- 57:37Speaker 5: but he had this concept of like you would go
- 57:42Speaker 5: into a uh you know, like a conference room and
- 57:47Speaker 5: it would just be a bunch of white guys working
- 57:49Speaker 5: on their Asian accents, and that if anybody laughed, you
- 57:53Speaker 5: were kicked out having like friends. Yes, the last time
- 58:07Speaker 5: we ever lit candles as a family, my friend Drew,
- 58:09Speaker 5: he was from India, was over and he had never
- 58:12Speaker 5: heard so we light the candles. Then we started like
- 58:14Speaker 5: broke and he started wheeze laughing and like he felt
- 58:19Speaker 5: so bad. He felt so bad, he was crying trying
- 58:23Speaker 5: to apologize, and we all just chanted through it.
- 58:27Speaker 1: From India.
- 58:28Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the end of it. We were all
- 58:30Speaker 5: so humiliated.
- 58:31Speaker 6: That's so funny.
- 58:33Speaker 5: Yeah, and again because he felt so bad, he could.
- 58:40Speaker 1: And you're like, I'm done doing this. I'm not doing
- 58:43Speaker 1: this anymore.
- 58:44Speaker 6: Not that funny. I've heard it many times. I don't
- 58:47Speaker 6: find it.
- 58:47Speaker 1: It's like a little raw though. You don't have any
- 58:49Speaker 1: music or backing tracks. No one did your key. You
- 58:52Speaker 1: just have to jump in.
- 58:53Speaker 5: People that you're used to talking to normally, all of
- 58:56Speaker 5: a sudden, just channing together and laugh.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and at a bar mitzvah, you're doing like twenty pages. Yeah,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you're just fucking singing. That's so much to memorize. You
- 59:09Speaker 1: can't read it. Yeah, how much did you spend? Uh?
- 59:12Speaker 1: You don't have the answer, But how much was your
- 59:14Speaker 1: bar Mitzvah Ballpark. If you're comfortable saying what I raked in?
- 59:17Speaker 1: No or both? How much did your family spend and
- 59:21Speaker 1: how much did you rake?
- 59:22Speaker 5: We I don't know how much was spent. I think
- 59:25Speaker 5: I got like three grand for it, and then that
- 59:28Speaker 5: was kept it in a camp.
- 59:29Speaker 6: Not very good. I feel like people are usually walking
- 59:32Speaker 6: away with that there, like I made a million dollars.
- 59:37Speaker 5: My dad was like, you know, my dad was the
- 59:40Speaker 5: highest society of the people that were You got confirmation money.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, that's Confirmation cathlic Ship.
- 59:48Speaker 5: But it was putting on a savings account. And then
- 59:50Speaker 5: later my dog Scooby needed surgery. Then it was used
- 59:52Speaker 5: for that. Oh okay, and my brothers too, was combined.
- 59:56Speaker 3: Then you used to jews savings accounts to fix one dog.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: How long did it live after that?
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: She did live for like four or five years. It's
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: worth it?
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Wow, worth it.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: What was a decision that was gonna I forget exactly
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: the conversation was forced on you. It wasn't fu I
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: mean we would have he was like, we'll pay it back. No,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: but yes, but you know, yes, in so many other ways.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but not with cash.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: What kind of surgery did the dog need?
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: She had?
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: It's a very noble application of the money.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Well, I mean she was a great dog.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Did your parents like was entire? Like? Could they couldn't
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: they have just paid for her?
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: It was like the weird kind of like because he
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: he had money in the business, right, there was you know,
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: good years, bad years.
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: Got it? Got it?
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: You don't want to liquid eate that's so interesting dog.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Yeah for a dog, But he's also the type that
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: he would like.
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: It.
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: Yeah, that's I'll I'll let my sons do it.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Like was he like did he not like the dog?
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Was he like? How bad do you guys want it?
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: No, It's just like he was at some point not
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: paying state tax, you know, and then he just has
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: that sort of he he can like be on the
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: high wire from a business perspective in a way that
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: I think would make most people uncomfortable, where it's just like, I.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Don't know what you mean by that.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: Well, he's like I'm not going to pay state tax.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: He lived in a position, a precarious position, and then.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Just chose to opt out of.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: Well because there wasn't money for it. Oh so it's like,
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: you know, but he's still we'll fix it, We'll.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: Figure it out. There's some yeah, there is current that
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: you guys aren't paying taxes.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: No, no, no, Now the state came in. It was
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: like if you don't start like they came in there
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: like we're shutting you down today, yeah, because you haven't paid.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: And he goes, well, hold on, and then you know, yeah,
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: so then they just started paying and.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: You know, they they want their money.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: They're not gonna shut me down, Tom. You know, they'll
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: get it back. He's got that attitude where I'd be like,
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: you what, you haven't what? I just be like googling, googling,
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: you know, his prison time. You know what's the credit?
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: You know, you really gotta you really gotta take it easy.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: Wait, what is the name for that? You you watched
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: a movie about the people that don't pay taxes?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Son?
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: It wasn't there was nothing political.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: It was just like it wasn't like he wasn't making
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: like a statement like he was so he was still
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: paying like federal taxes and stuff.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: He had Feds.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: I guess you know, with the Feds.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: The state, there's some debt that you can just like
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: get away with not paying though, Like that dude, Caleb
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Hammer was just talking about how like if you have
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: medical debt and you can't pay it, just don't pay it, bro.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: The bankruptcy is like easy to like handle.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: I had an elbow surgery in like twenty thirteen, and uh,
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: for whatever reason, the I had good insurance I think,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: but like it didn't really cover that much of it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: And I still remember that the hospital bill, the like
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: rental of the surgical theater and the doctor's bill, it
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: was like thirty grand or something like that. And I
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: did not pay it and they stopped asking for it. Yeah,
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: and I never saw my credit score go down. Eventually
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: the doctor died, I am clear perfect.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Yeah, now his have to pay off your surgery.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: They're all doing well. Their dad was a doctor, very
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: successful doctor.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: I thought it all got passed down. I thought I
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: thought it all went somewhere like if you have debt.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Medical debt, I think medical. I think it was just
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: different levels of debt. I don't think it's all the same.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I think that the state taxes isn't as important as
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the federal taxes.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: I'm not going to pay in my state taxest me
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: let me get in touch with your dad. I want
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: to talk to him about that.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: I saw a chart recently that showed, you know, if
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: you make a million dollars a year, here's what you
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: walk home with based on the state, and Pennsylvania was
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: one of the higher ones, meaning that there's not as
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: much state income tax there as I thought.
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: It's a pretty low state income tax states.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: But I mean Florida, Texas.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Florida and Texas were both the top because there's zero.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: What did it say, you come home you owe money
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: on a million in New York?
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: New York was New York was pretty bad. California was
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: like decidedly worse than New York.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: Like what you come home with like one hundred k.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I think it was less than five less than a half.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Maybe that's so nasty for a million. That's why we
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: had to get out of there.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: But his dad owned his own BA. Yeah, his dad
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: owned his own business.
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: Though, like you own a business, you don't.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You own like a little business, but that's not your job.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I have.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: I have a company. I'm the president of the company.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: That's not your main don't size shame.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: Companies will want to try and use this as a
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: little like worm like. But I have started dipping my
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: toe back in the stand up, so maybe I start
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: to build a little bit act if I could.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You know, of course, be really nice, are you? Yeah?
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: I'm doing like small shows around Philly? And how is
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: this kind of bombing bombing? You know? But it's it's
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: fun because it does feel like a lot less pressure now.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Because you don't need it to like, you don't have
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: to do it to make it right.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: You may how how long did you do stand up
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: before you stopped?
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: About a decade?
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: Oh really yeah, like consistently eight years?
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: Yeah, oh wow, But it wasn't it was not good?
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Isn't there some pressure in that everyone knows who you
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: are now?
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: I mean it must be like everybody right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: a lot of people know me.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: I mean, but it's it's not pressure like I just
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: remember Comedy Central would come in once a year and
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: you'd have an audition. Yeah, and the last time and
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: it was always a helium, And I had auditioned twice
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: and then the third time. You know, it's like I
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: wasn't writing anything that was good. I could feel that.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: And I remember getting up on stage and I could
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: just see my handshaking, and I was just like, it's
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: fucking over.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: And yeah, that shit is a lot of pressure. You
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: do like the jfl auditions, like yeah, it's like you
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: do the same set forever and then you go up
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: and then you're like, Okay, none of these jokes are
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: funny anymore. Yeah, I don't know what happened.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: So even if they know me and then you know,
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: I'm also upfront with them, then I'm like, you know,
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: new to this again, so bear with me, and they're
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: they're all incredibly sweet. I'm also not doing a lot
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: of time, so they don't get you in five minutes. Yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: about five to eight sick.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: Hell, yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's it's it's really fun. But that's what
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: I was like, maybe if I could like check your
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: schedules and then like pope sometimes yeah, definitely, all right,
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: we'll see.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: How looks.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I mean, you're the creator of the show George makes
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: a Comeback. How was going to uh did you go
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: to the link?
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Was it sick?
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: This is incredible?
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Yeah, it so crazy, Like yeah, it's insane.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: It was like it was like seventy six.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: Seventy six thousand and wasn't it like four thousand people
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: didn't come and they still broke it, still broke the record?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: Yeah? Damn wow? Yeah, I mean I assume in eighty
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: thousand tickets, at least someone's not gonna show.
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy how.
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: Many people do show though. It's fucking insane.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: It's wild. And like the buzz about it before, Like
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: I remember before he did Esthenos, Why Lebron went to
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: the Sixers. Yeah, just the energy of like everybody that
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: I was running into the like you know, they were
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: so many people were going.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Well, it's probably like awesome. I mean a lot of
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the people that know him know you too. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: there must have been like a nice pop. I saw
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: they played the trailer like there for the for the
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: entire stadium of people saw the trailer for your Netflix.
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: Crazy.
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: It's crazy, it's crazy.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: And just like standing on that stage because we went
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: the night before just to like, yeah, look at it,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: and just like standing there, his name just gigantic. Wow,
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: I mean, like it's your mind can't really wrap itself
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: around that achievement.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Did you have some bud lights that night? Did you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: enjoy yourself?
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Well, I enjoyed myself, but me enjoying myself is probably
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: very different. But like, I had like three or four
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: bud lights, and I'd like to.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Go home place.
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: There's one little thing that I wish I would have
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: taken because so like before they brought Phil and then me,
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: Chris and Kyla up, it was Bam Marge Era and
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: it's just like kind of give an announcement about like
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: phones or what have you. And so then he does
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: his thing and then Phil we come out. Phil does
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: this thing and they started playing. I look down and
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: then BAM's notes were on the ground and the first
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: thing was like, what's up cocksuckers.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: To have yeh, that's how funny that he wrote that line?
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: What is it? Was it? Cox? Is it?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: What?
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: I need to write this down? I you saying I'll
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: go home now conjured a very very fond memory in
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: my life, which is when we went out to dinner
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: with Nate Diazer.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: Oh yeah, And I'm trying to talk about that on stage.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Are you?
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Go ahead, Because we're at that huge table with so
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: many people and it's a vegan restaurant in La in
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: a private room, and they brought out the bags of mushrooms.
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't. Didn't you remember that?
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: And I'd never done like real I've only ever done
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: like the chocolate bar mushrooms, right, And all of a
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: sudden this was like crops being handed. I don't know
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: what it's weird.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: Would you go to a place they give you something
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: for it?
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Well, he also had these like cargo pants on that
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: had so many pockets, and inside of each pocket was
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: a room temperature like hard Seltzer. And at various intervals
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: of the evening, as we're walking along the sidewalk, he'd
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: be like, hey, you want one to shotgun, and I'd
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: be like, of course, Diaz, I'm not going to say no,
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: And he would just pull one out that has been
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: warming against his thigh and hand it to me and
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: we would shotgun a Seltzer and then go on our
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: merry way.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Yeah, but go ahead, yea. As soon as the mushrooms
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: came out, I probably said I got an early flight.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: Well, we were pushing you to stay, We really wanted
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: you to stay. And that was the night you told
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: me about how you really liked the pinch, which I've
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: never forgotten of that that VOK guy. Yeah, the ice
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: cold vodka after long day work. That first sip gives
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: you the pinch's.
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: The pinch you It's just like that pinch in your
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: mouth of like you know, and then you and then
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: you're like, oh, maybe I'm not the worst. But that night,
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: the thing I'm like trying to talk about is it's
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: just tough to do. But Shane made me tell a story.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: We were sitting there and it was a little quiet.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: He was like, tell them what happened last night? And
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: I was like please, And then uh, because the previous
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: night I had accidentally brushed my teeth of preparation.
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: H oh no, yeah, dude, I had that in my
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: bathroom and I was like, I wonder if like I'll
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: accidentally fuck up and use that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Yeah, well you did that. I did that because I
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: also have, like I wear incredibly strong contact less. So
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: that's out. Everything's a blur. It's all travel sizes and
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: just the disgust at the table, the utter disgust.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: How many brushes did you get in?
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: I got a couple and then I freaked out.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: It was right away, like didn't you taste it right away?
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: So when I call a couple, I would say that, okay,
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: got it?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I did it. I've done that, but exact exact
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: move because it's red the container's I was at a shorehouse.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I grabbed it off another counter. I was like, there's
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: two paste in there. I know it put it on,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: but as soon as it touched tongue, I didn't even
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: get a scrub. I was probably yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: Yeah, So what happened called poison control?
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: Uh, I mean I feel like you kind of have to.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: I feel like that's the right move.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: Bunniest response from the guy you know, the poison control say,
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: I just brushway to the preparation. H. He goes, what
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: everything that he's heard throughout his life. But it's fine.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: You know, you didn't.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Get sick or anything interesting. I feel like that would
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: suck you up bad.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: No, it's for the body. Each preparation H is for
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: you put it in a hole. It's like you're putting
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: it in another hole of your body.
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: But what is it supposed to? What does it do?
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: It numbs pain and it uh it like reduces the inflammation.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Not like you don't know what preparation H.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: No, I know what it does. I'm saying. So putting
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: that in your math health, that's going to cause a
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: world of issues. I did it obviously, the half of
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: fifty of us, but I have.
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: I passed about twelve of them my way year. W
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: put stuff in their body. Then you're like, that should
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: kill them immediately.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a resilience.
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: He could take a little wrappage. The body is meant
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: to handle it.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Did you take the drugs with the ds?
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: I had made a vow at the beginning of the evening,
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: the way that it was all coming together, I was
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: like I could see from a mile away that this
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: was going to be like one of the nights of
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: my life, because you know, we were all going out
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, like we ran into
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: Nate Diaz and his whole crew at this hotel bar,
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: and then they were like, come to dinner with us,
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: and then you agreed to come because you were about
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: to go home, and it was like there's a group
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: of people and what was happening. I distinctly remember at
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: the dinner because this was like the first really like
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: famous person dinner that I had been like a wallflower at.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: And I remember that the owner of the restaurant opened
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: the sliding doors to that private room we were in
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: and this guy came in the doctor correct, not just
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: a doctor. He owned the hospitals in LA.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: Oh he did.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: That's what it was.
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: Because I've been saying that he was like the head
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: cardiologist in Cedar Silent.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: I think he owned maybe, but he he owned. I
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: know he owned the hospital, like one or two of
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: the hospitals in Los Angeles.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Good God.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: And he paid for our whole dinner.
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: Oh, he paid for the whole dinner. Yeah, because I
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: just my recollection is nobody tried to get his number.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: He just that's the guy.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Yeah. He shook Nate's hands like big fan, yeah, and
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: was like, if you ever need anything, come to my hospital, right,
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: I'll give you a wing, and then paid for our
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: whole dinner. And it was like fourteen of us at
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: a very fancy LA restaurant. It must have been like a.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: And nobody was jumping get this guy's number.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: No, but but I bet that the owner of the
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: restaurant connected them. It wasn't for us. You never know
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: what would we have done with that guy's.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: I know, I'm not I'm not.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, Well, just in case we ever needed to
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: get to the front of the line of like a
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: heart transplant.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: The money, he's the money man.
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: No.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: Yeah, if anybody comes to meet me and they're like
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: tax counting, you know whatever, these are people that you go,
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: let's get that in the phone. And I couldn't believe that.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: He was like, thank you.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Professionally, Okay, yeah, you can have my number. Yeah that's
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: very good.
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: What's the point of all this if not that?
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: Yeah, it's true the life.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Please, I would have said, chicks.
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that is sure. But but.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: That's you're right.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: I mean, heart surgeon that owns multiple hospitals, why is
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: he still doing heart surgery hanging.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: Out well that that that's just competing. I would trust
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: Francis is way more than mine.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: That would be insane. If he owns the hospital doctor there,
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: he's like messy.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's like a steak in the hot sick.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: It's one of those weird things where you don't even
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: think there's a person who owns a hospital. No, No,
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: I thought like, oh, those are those are owned? Yeah,
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: you're you you're in the hospital business. Yeah, how'd you
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: get into that? Well, we started with you know, pediatricians
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: worked our way up from a mom and pop you know,
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: fucking overnight aid place.
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: They probably it's probably one person that owns everything. They
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: probably own like the They probably owned the morgue, they
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: own the fucking the funeral home, like the funeral places, graveyard,
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: they own it at all.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Yeah, they definitely do.
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: But you guys see have a fun night. I remember
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: seeing pictures of you shadow boxing with the sense I think,
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: I don't.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: Think that's true. Yeah, we all went to watch Shane
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: perform at the Improv and then we went from there
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: to this to this comedy store which was closed, and
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: went into a convenience store and got cases of hard
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Seltzers and then went into a parking lot behind the
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: comedy store and just drank a good hangback there though,
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: like learned martial arts for the next three hours until
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: like four, And then the next morning I had to
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: go on Tim Dillon's podcast, and I was so fucked up.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: It was everything I could do to not throw up.
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: On the show.
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: Really rewatch it was really ry days.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: That's sick. Were you? Who else was in the group
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: with the diaz Is?
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: Were you?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Was it just your part?
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: Dude?
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: It was one of the guys from Surf Ninja's that
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: amazing movie who has had a pretty good career in
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: Hollywood as like a martial arts stunt man.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: And are you mixing it up with these guys too?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Are you the.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: One giving me? He was the one giving me lessons, Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: in how to like striking and striking defense.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: Wonderful.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it was good from him and then a number
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: of his like the rest of his crew was comprised
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: of like other mixed martial artists.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: From Stockton, California, Stockton stock and stand the funk up.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: But John was there too.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: It was just too much.
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: Yeah, not a not a nighttime guy. Yeah, actually inside
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: what's that you like to be inside?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: No, no, no, I like yeah, more of like a day activity,
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: morning activity guy.
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: I get that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Retirement's going to be amazing for you.
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: It's what times? What do you do? Like what do
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: you do at night? Like do you go to bed earlier?
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: Are you just chilling?
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: I watch a ton of YouTube, golf, some vodka, and
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: then yeah, go to go to banks.
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: I love that.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Good God.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: I like that you're back on the sauce because you
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: were off of it for a little while then like
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: six months I was off of it and then I'm
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: glad you're bad.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: I could have just cold vodka straight.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Yeah, we're off like a little pinch of unsweetened cranberry, which.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Is to stay? Is that to stay lean?
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: No?
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: Just I mean that's just your drink.
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: Yeah, And you don't want to put that much sugar.
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: No, there's no way that's your drink. It's definitely a sugar.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: It's sugar. And you're worried about the calories, not worried.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: About the cat I'm worried about the sugar. But alcohol
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: is sugar, right, Well it turns into.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: Still from sugar, some of it, not all of it,
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: but yeah.
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: Right anyway, I don't know why my brain likes it,
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: but that's what my brain is.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I know, if you like it, then yeah,
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: didn't have.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: That probably because it gets you ship taste, because it
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: gets you really drunk.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: Really, I can't see myself ever sitting down in any
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: scenario with a glass of vodka. But I don't know,
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: I don't.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: I think that's what you get to when you become
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: a real man. And I say that as someone who
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: has not like the the most sort of learned and
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: mature men that I know drink vodka, which is cool.
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: It's cool because it's like it's it's like impressive. Honestly,
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: that's nothing about that. It's kind of impressive if I
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: saw you sit down somewhere with a glass of vodka,
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: like that guy's got a fucking cock of steel.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Because you think whiskey and like dudes are like whiskey
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: drinkers or even like maybe tequila, but like whiskey, like
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: people sip whiskey, but vodka is like harsher but also
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: lower calorie and like a little bit healthier, but like
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: way harder to drink straight.
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: I think, Yeah, you don't mix in like a seltzer
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: or anything like you like, you like it just straight
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: with the grip. Dude.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: It is cool.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: It's cool.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: That's cool. That's cool, man, especially if you like keep
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: your bottle of vodka in the freezer.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: I do, I do.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: I knew, well, I would have thought it was better
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: but smear and off screen this season four Get Yourself
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: some might.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: Be their number one customer.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, are you Russian at all?
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: Well from the Jewish side, Yeah, well yeah, there you go. Yeah,
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: ash Russians or something.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I would have even thought that until was like European, Yeah,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: maybe Russian part of Russias in Europe.
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: Oh yeah, true, but I would have.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Never that's the most Russian sounding thing ever, just drinking.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: That's like a bad stereotype for Russians.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: That's the one you like. Then, far be it for
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: me to sort of mock your your prescription. It sounds
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: like you know exactly what you want.
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I agree. I think we all probably have
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: just had bad experiences with off.
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: We're also all out here trying different things. Some knights
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: will have a beer and then it's this like a
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: bunch of fucking.
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: What do your nights look like in the city. You
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: guys going now all the time?
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: No, I don't go out ever. I'm currently on a
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: weed some so my my my day to day is
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: changing quite a bit.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: So you just go home.
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: I just go home.
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: What are we watching?
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: Nothing right now? Right now, it's a lot of just
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: sitting and thinking, okay and going I don't really want
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: to do anything. Yeah, playing video games, but not really
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: having fun.
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: Mm So you know that feeling that's like, well, I
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: used to play practice piano back in the d Yeah,
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: of course, and you're like past the point of any
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: like sort of sensible practice. You're just like making noise.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: It feels like.
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: Your brake pedals aren't working. Yeah, and you're like yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: you're just like, yeah.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: You're a penis. I didn't realize.
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: No, no, I mean just for a little brief period.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: You know, it's forced to what age?
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: Middle school?
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I was forced to for a little bit.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I was forced to for a while, and I dream
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: of forcing my children to.
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: Yeah, of course do it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I feel like you have to like the idea that
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: like people know musical theory. I feel like you got
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: pretty far into music.
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: Absolutely, you're you're great.
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: I was forced to do it long enough that I
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: understood it, and then I switched to guitar and then
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: came back to the piano on my own, and the
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: only then did I start enjoying it. And once you
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: start enjoying it, you do get better.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Forced to do it probably like ten.
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: Oh my god, that was probably me too.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: I was forced to do piano from kindergarten through middle school,
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: and then I started playing clarinet in high school and
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: then I quit, and then I haven't. I haven't really
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: played much. Yeah, because I wanted to play saxophone right naturally,
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: And then they tell you, well, if you play clarinet.
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: It's actually very easy to switch over to the saxophone,
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: like once there's more because there's only a certain amount
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: of available spots, and then you start playing the saxophone
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: or the clarinet, and then you're like, I'm not, like
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: this is impossible to learn. I'm not switching once I
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: learned this, Like, that's crazy in high school. I'm not
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: going to become like a three instrument guy. That's fucking nuts.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: So I played clarinet. I was really good at it though,
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: second chair.
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: I was.
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: I was second chair in the in the top band
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: who was first chair? An Asian girl, I'm not I
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: don't do that. I'm not like Francis.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: It's like we're giving her credit.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: I'm platforming these people. They reach out thank thanking me.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Oh really, hey everybody told me you mentioned me on
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: your podcast. Thank you.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, no, I don't want that. I get that.
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: I don't want that at all.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: Sharing the love. Yeah, I named people by their legal
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: names from my life on the show.
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: That's great. Yeah, you're one of my favorite things. I
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: looked forward on your Instagram. I couldn't find it. Maybe
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: it was like a story thing that you did. Do
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: you remember when you were waiting for that flight and
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: there was one first class seat and you were third
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: in line. Yeah, And the people in front of him
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: were a newly ed couple. So it was the drama
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: of him being like, are they going.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: To Yeah, one of them had the upgrade, right, and
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: if if one of them had taken it, I wouldn't
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: have gotten it. And I was rooting for their love. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: so that they would want to sit together and not
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: take the one remaining seat. Yes, And when I saw them,
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: I was like, I really think you guys have a
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: beautiful congratulations like.
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: Sitting in first class. Screwdriver, Like.
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: That's what it was.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: That's so funny. He just said he had another one
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: this weekend. We just talked about. But you should tell him.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I had, I had, Uh, there was it was
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: a well, this was a little different.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: There was.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: I had a first class seat, but I was I
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: usually spend as much time in the lounge as I
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: possibly can, until I like to get on the plane
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: at the end.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: And get into a lounge. What am I doing wrong?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Like you gotta talk, you don't even need to.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: Honestly, they're they're terrible. You don't listen dude, it's like
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: a souper. This is a this is like you think
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: you're going to this like luxury, luxurious experience, and you
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: got there and there's people like begging for like a
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: slice of fucking or a piece of the food. They
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: have is like what do you what do you what
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: do you like to eat?
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: Well, it's more about the illusion.
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: No, there's no seclusion.
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: This is a guy who animal makes the team and
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: then it's like they sucked. Anyways, I didn't want to
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: play le Look, trust me, I've been what it is.
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: I've been in the delta lunch.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: I went to the what is it this centurion? I
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: went to the centurion. I mean, that's what we deal with.
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: It's a closet and they have like.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: The hater and you know what, in a week, in
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: a week, he'll be back on on the lounge and
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: some thing like I really like him. See that's the thing,
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: like you just you know, I'll go bullshit.
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: But they're not good.

- 1:29:04Speaker 1: C d O T ce O M slash boy dad.
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: I just have to leave before rush hour.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: Well okay, well there's a defined time for that.
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: It's always rush hour.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: I have to leave before dusk.
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: I'm not sending rush hour traffic.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: I'm not doing it.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: When I said dusk creeping in, it's probably time for
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: me to hit the road.
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: On my third time. Then today I was like, I'm
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: out of here. I'm supposed to I'm out. I'm not
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: seeing anybody. There's the parking garage by the way. It's
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: they can't fit any more cars in, And it's like,
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: sure leaving? Are you sure?
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: That's the worst.
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: You know what I'm talking about. Just send me to
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: a normal place.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: You pull it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: There's two lanes, the right lane which were you're supposed
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: to you know, all the cars are parked basically, So
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: I'm like, I guess, I guess it's full. So I
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: start to back up, beeping. So then I'm like, I
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: don't know what to do.
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: You drive an eighteen wheeler.
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: Maybe a park there is that gonna be like what
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: do I need a fucking So then I was like,
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: I bet you this is a New York thing, there'd
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: probably be a gate. So that I went down there,
- 1:30:26Speaker 5: Oh thank god, no place to stand, and the guy's like, yeah,
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: leave it. I'm like, all right, did they park it
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: for you? There's no place to park it. But then.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: They have secret compartments. They've got elevators, they have all
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: it's an emc Escher painting in there. Parking garages in
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: New York City are that, and they will find a
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: place that couple.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Park you right to just stack you in with no
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: space in between. These are Colombians who are somehow the
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: best drivers on planet Earth. Correct geniuses. They can make
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: any area work. Their special awareness is second to none.
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: I had that where I was returning a car from
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: to a rental place a couple of weeks ago, and
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: there was nowhere to nowhere to go. I just had
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: to leave it in the middle of the road. There's like, yeah,
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: but there's like cars behind, there's nowhere, there's nowhere any
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: wants to get any of us to go.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: They had it, what Seymour, what happened?
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: It's uh, it's you know, like the car company like
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: six Yeah, yeah, it was that in Queens by LaGuardia.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: And then the road that it comes on to is
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: a one way and the road goes it like merges
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: onto like a busier road and it's like a very
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: thin short road and there's just nowhere to go.
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: Yeah, so you just had to leave it.
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: Just tell them.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: No one said anything.
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: No, I had to tell people. I'm like, I don't
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: know what, there's nowhere to go. And then then they
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: leave it. But then there's like it's causing a whole jam,
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: nowhere to go.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: Six is the sexy car rental option though really oh yeah,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: I think it's like sexy in European.
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: Yeah, like hurts, they're all the same.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: You say your clock too, it hurts sexy.
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: But I'll be honest, I tried. I tried to do
- 1:32:07Speaker 6: that thing that you were talking about with the car
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: with hurts. I'm gold I'm a gold member and I
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: showed up to LaGuardia and my name was not on
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: the thing.
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: There's something else you have to do. I had this
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: happened to me recently.
- 1:32:18Speaker 6: And then I waited in line for an hour and
- 1:32:21Speaker 6: it bro like the questions. People got to stop asking
- 1:32:24Speaker 6: so many fucking questions like, oh, we got the what
- 1:32:28Speaker 6: did you want? You wanted a big car? Okay, we
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: can do this. Uh tahoe, Well, I don't know if
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: the tall does the tahoe have like? And it's like,
- 1:32:36Speaker 6: why does it, Matt, why do you care? It's all
- 1:32:38Speaker 6: the same shit.
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: It's a car. A lot of these people don't travel,
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: so it's daunting to them. It was like their first
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: time out of the house.
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: One of the guys definitely travels business guy. He switched
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: cars three times.
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: It's like, bro, at a certain point, you're just an asshole,
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: Like you see us all waiting here and you're waiting
- 1:32:56Speaker 6: to get like the perfect fit for your fucking fat
- 1:32:59Speaker 6: body because he was fat.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: He was a fat guy.
- 1:33:01Speaker 6: He's a fat guy.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: Yeah, well then say I mean a lead with that
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: so we can all get on the same page. We're
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: fat hating.
- 1:33:05Speaker 6: I don't know. The questions enraged me. Hotels checking in,
- 1:33:10Speaker 6: people asking about the incidental charges, like they get hit
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: with it's going to be two hundred dollars in incidentals.
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: It's like a flash grenade to the face for those people.
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: They're like they can't comprehend what that is, but that's
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: just that's they don't they know it's coming back to them, Yes, exactly.
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: And they understand that.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: Yeah, some Americans can't. They can't stomach a two hundred
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: dollars bonus charge.
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: I mean I get it all the time.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: There would be like dudes checking in and they would
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: have to like bring the hotel clerk to the side
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: so they like whisper to them, like the way my
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: account set up, Like I don't have two hundred extra dollars, yeah,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: and have to reset. It's a nasty time.
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: And it's like, well, that's fine. Just don't touch anything.
- 1:33:49Speaker 6: Yeah, make sure you don't rip the TV off the wall.
- 1:33:54Speaker 6: There's not much to break.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: In the room anyway. You're leaving the Delta lounge after
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: a long time.
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: Oh, I forgot. We were talking about that.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Yeah, in the middle of the story. This was on
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: the side. Uh what did I was You're leaving the
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: Dutch lounge and there's two women.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I leave the lounge. I get to my flight.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: There's only two people left waiting and that have not
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: boarded the plane.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: This is on your Instagram.
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: Now, no, I didn't post about this.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: It's a personal one.
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: But I overheard them talking and they were like, yeah,
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: there's two seats left in first class, and if the
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: one person who has one doesn't show up, we'll get
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: both of them. And I heard them say that as
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: I was like coming, and then.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: He lurked behind and waited until the last second before
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: the door was closed, and then fucking claimed, why would.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: You do that?
- 1:34:43Speaker 5: That's sick.
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: What do you mean?
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: There's no need to clarify what I meant.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: I wasn't doing it to punish them. I didn't know
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: they were going to be there, and like hoping for
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: the upgrade.
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: Wait, but he said, but so you. But when you
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: found out that they were ready, that they got that
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: piece of information.
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: They were just saying that.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: And then he dies and then he waited and he bought.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: He bought a trade and.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: I didn't wait, he's pulling your leg. I didn't wait.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I went, as those women aren't concerned. You wait, you
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: might as well like you did wait, but you didn't
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: know that they were.
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: What I wanted to do is scan my ticket and
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: wait to hear them be like, ah, he lost it
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: because that would have made me happy. Why because shame
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: on them for thinking the world would be handed to
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: them on a silver player. I had to use a
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: global upgrade certificate to get me from Premium economy into
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: Delta one on a flight home.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: Global upgrade for a domestic flight from California.
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: Wow, I got those global upgrade certificates by didn't of
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: how much I travel for work, so that I think
- 1:35:53Speaker 3: they did not have.
- 1:35:54Speaker 6: I didn't get any this year, just regional because no
- 1:35:59Speaker 6: one wants that I can get an upgrade from New
- 1:36:01Speaker 6: York to Boston.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: Did you fight to Greensboro first class when you went? Uh? Yeah,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: regional upgrade.
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: It was a regional upgrade.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: If I get to one hundred thousand dollars one hundred
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: thousand m q ds, I can gift diamond medallion on
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: Delta to someone else.
- 1:36:17Speaker 6: I got you.
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: You'll love it coming right to you.
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: Diamond medallion.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: It sounds.
- 1:36:25Speaker 6: That's the highest tier you could Well, it's actually not.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: It's all we talk about. It's literally all we ever
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: talk about.
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: A spot.
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: Diamond medallion.
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: Diamond Medallions two episodes and I'm in recovery now. No
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: more coke for me.
- 1:36:37Speaker 6: I kicked it.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: I love that good.
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: I think that's a fair trade off.
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: I'll bring anything of this up.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: One episode for diamond Medallion, one for a spot on
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: the road for the tour.
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like diamond medallions worth at least. I
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: mean he needs to be in the trailer. We need,
- 1:37:00Speaker 6: Like I have my own trailer for season two. It
- 1:37:02Speaker 6: was awesome.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: One one day I had the small one, and then
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: the other day I had the big one. Yeah next
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: to Shane with that room is huge, so you can
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: nap in that.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: Oh you meant like a trailer, like a preview, right, Yeah?
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I just got so confused.
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: Sorry, you said I had my own trailer. I thought
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: you met your your own preview.
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: You got the bluetooth to my trailer this year, so.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: I can imagine what do I hate you with?
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: I don't think I should say the nog?
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: What's that porno?
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: Of course?
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: That more nasty than porno?
- 1:37:41Speaker 5: Yeah, But and then music that I hate?
- 1:37:43Speaker 6: But what's up like Springsteen? Yeah?
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: Going from season one to season two, it was a
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: really cool experience.
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: You can only imagine what's going from season two to
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: season two. It must have been incredible.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: I can't imagine it was incredible.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: No, no, no, the craft he must have been better,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: so different. Oh that's good, miss, Okay, you missed nothing.
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: Every time we would eat on set, I would feel
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: sick after every single time.
- 1:38:11Speaker 6: It's not and you do that for like months.
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: Well I'm there for a week.
- 1:38:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I I because we get an executive assistant, so
- 1:38:21Speaker 5: I I go, please give me something else.
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: Please, And I just would gorge.
- 1:38:28Speaker 6: I would eat so much of the prepared food.
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: So you liked it?
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: No, I didn't. I mean I didn't. When there's food out,
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: I eat like I'm a Labrador cheat. I can't not
- 1:38:39Speaker 3: eat all.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: They have a problem.
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: Is it a problem or are you just like trying
- 1:38:43Speaker 5: to pack on masks.
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: With like I've just forever been a very hungry person,
- 1:38:48Speaker 3: and I have this feeling that if I stop eating
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: in such enormous quantities, my metabolism will slow down and
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: then I'll gain weight.
- 1:38:56Speaker 5: Interesting.
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: I attribute somewhat of my physique to how much I eat.
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: Interesting, And have you ever been overweight?
- 1:39:06Speaker 6: No?
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: Nice, never, never once? That would kill myself.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: Well, you've never been obese, but I mean your b
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: in my is probably like, yeah, you're probably like overweight
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: for your your.
- 1:39:20Speaker 6: So he's fat.
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: That calculation is really outdated and obviously everyone knows it's
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: flawed because by those metrics.
- 1:39:26Speaker 6: The Rock is also obese. He's a fat ass.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: JJ watt.
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: That's a regular day for Francis the Rocks. Cheap day, Yeah, crafty.
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: What kind of stuff are they?
- 1:39:40Speaker 6: Like?
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: Is it like a plate or like a tin of
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: fish or some ship like that, or like a bunch
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: of chickens lined up.
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: It would always be like some mother and father and
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: daughter who are like a barbecue family. They're like dry
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: our chicklings. They're like, I don't know what that is,
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: and you don't want that for launch piles of sausages
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: with onions and peppers and.
- 1:40:03Speaker 6: Having barbecue as your midday meals.
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: Seven more hours on my feet after this.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: Where you had to look presentable, I mean like a
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: camera guy, a grip or something like that. They can
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: load up and they don't give a fuck.
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: And I was always like, you'd have makeup on and
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: one of my outfits I had to wear a leather
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: jacket over a hoodie and I just was so hot,
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: which luckily like contribute helped me act because my character
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: was just so fucking you know, but uh, making you
- 1:40:36Speaker 3: laugh was my favorite thing. Oh my god, remember when
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: I took your seat in the office. Yeah, you're just
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: so good. Oh yeah, that's not why I brought well.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: I still I still go back and rewatch the you
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: from the first episode for the first season. You making
- 1:40:54Speaker 5: chain break?
- 1:40:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that was fun too.
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: That's that's such a fun healt take. Shane Jean Francis.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: I'm glad I got to be in the Blooper real.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: I like the Bloopers, a blooper guy.
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: Is there anything that we need to know about season three?
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: Or just going raw wrong?
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: I love that awesome August, what's birthday? Come on right
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: around the corner really soon?
- 1:41:19Speaker 6: Cool?
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: Check that out on Netflix. That's season three. Congratulations, thank you, thanks,
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: thanks for coming than Not Invitational next year. Sure you
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: and I are do for some golf.
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: You guys gotta play some golf.
- 1:41:31Speaker 6: Yeah, come on down?
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: Cool?
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, you got to come on up.
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: Are you going to go down to play golf with them?
- 1:41:37Speaker 5: He's never going to go down.
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: What about like Marion or something like that or somewhere nice.
- 1:41:42Speaker 5: No, yeah, yeah with the Eagles Autism Foundation.
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: Incredible that Corona Barwin or who is that? I don't know,
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: but still sick.
- 1:41:53Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: Like, who's is there somebody that runs that from the
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: eagle side? She well, yeah, she a woman.
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: Yeah, and the first time because the week before I
- 1:42:03Speaker 5: got to play with Jason Kelsey as an event and
- 1:42:07Speaker 5: that was at Rolling Green and I was like passing
- 1:42:09Speaker 5: this woman that every time I passed her should be
- 1:42:11Speaker 5: like and then this quarter I made X amount of
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: millions and then there's an X amount of millions and
- 1:42:16Speaker 5: I'm like, what a psycho? I was like, gotta be
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: a realder. Yeah, but she was the charge of Vehicles
- 1:42:23Speaker 5: Autism since she was just talking about how much money she's.
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: Right, she was like, all you have to do to
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: play Mary and is get diagnosed.
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: She's awesome, right And.
- 1:42:34Speaker 6: Yeah, so how was it they're playing?
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: Marion's really cool. Yeah, I'll come down. I want to
