💥SILVER 💥Americans the LUCKIEST STACKERS of All?.. (Gold Price Too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:02
Good morning and welcome to the live stream Basement Dwellers.
• 0:05
We're going to cover it all today.
• 0:07
  We've got a great, great show. I have a special guest who's
• 0:10
going to be joining us in just one minute.
• 0:13
But first, I want to ask you a question.
• 0:15
How would you feel about paying a 20% tax when you buy silver or
• 0:22
gold for that matter? How does that make you feel,
• 0:25
right? Are we the luckiest stackers in
• 0:27
the world in the United States? Also $33 silver.
• 0:33
We're going to talk about that, but we're also going to talk
• 0:36
about $46 silver. And I think I can lay out a case
• 0:41
that the silver price should easily, could easily be $46 per
• 0:46
oz right now. Does that seem out of the
• 0:47
question to you? It does not seem out of the
• 0:50
question to me, $46 silver seems very, very reasonable.
• 0:55
Some of us might even argue a little bit low.
• 0:58
Also, big warning. All right, we got to reissue the
• 1:01
massive warning for today, right now.
• 1:05
We'll get to that next. But first, let's all welcome our
• 1:08
good friend Brian from Mountain Bullion Entertainment, who's
• 1:12
joining us yet again today. Brian, welcome to Ron's
• 1:15
Basement. Thanks for having me on.
• 1:18
It's an honor to be back. Well, it's always an honor to
• 1:21
have you. It looks like you've got some
• 1:22
pretty gold and silver coins there for all of us to look at.
• 1:26
Brian, let me let me ask you this question my friend.
• 1:31
I'm going to issue the big warning.
• 1:32
We talked about this yesterday, but today, Tuesday, we have 5
• 1:36
Fed speakers, five Federal Reserve speakers, governors
• 1:41
right here. Let me pull this up so everybody
• 1:43
can see, so I can provide proof 'cause we always want to provide
• 1:47
proof to the audience. This is from MarketWatch.
• 1:52
This is today, guys. 10:00 AM, Richmond Fed 1140 Boston Fed
• 1:57
1:00 PM Dallas Fed 1:00 PM Fed Governor Adrian, Did they add
• 2:04
one on me anyway? 1:20 PM Saint Louis Fed. 2:00 PM
• 2:09
Chicago Fed President Austin Goolsbee, I will say he has my
• 2:14
favorite last name of any Fed governor.
• 2:17
But the Fed, they're, they're like rolling out the clowns.
• 2:19
Do you have any thoughts? I know I'm hitting you with this
• 2:21
on the spot, Brian, but do you have any thoughts about why does
• 2:24
the Fed have to roll out all these, all these governors to
• 2:28
like talk to the markets about what's going on?
• 2:32
Seems like they're trying to control the narrative.
• 2:34
Need to get get some extra folks in there.
• 2:40
Do you, do you think maybe it could be because what they're, I
• 2:45
think this is key for our viewer that's joining us and for you
• 2:48
and I to understand like we kind of we kind of just take the Fed
• 2:52
situation for granted. But do you think maybe it has
• 2:55
something to do with the fact that they're, they're supporting
• 2:59
and selling something to people that's really based on nothing,
• 3:02
based on competence alone? Does that does that make sense,
• 3:05
  Brian? That does make sense.
• 3:07
They, they might be a little concerned about what's going on
• 3:10
with project and Bridge and they want to, you know, keep everyone
• 3:14
  under control. Yeah, yeah.
• 3:17
And they want to control the narrative surrounding the dollar
• 3:19
because when we when we look at this right, paper dollar, this
• 3:24
is not a silver certificate. This is based on nothing but
• 3:28
just confidence, right? That's not backed by anything.
• 3:31
So. So I've laid out this argument
• 3:33
that the Fed is less of a bank really now and more of like a
• 3:38
public relations firm. Yeah, I mean, that makes sense.
• 3:42
And they have a lot to keep under control right now.
• 3:46
You, you know, with everything that's going on with Saudi
• 3:48
Arabia and the end of the Petro dollar agreement that we had
• 3:55
with them, you know, this is something where it's the Saudis
• 4:00
are probably looking in our country and are concerned, you
• 4:03
know, something similar to the current Biden administration
• 4:06
will be in control of the country on and off from this
• 4:09
point forward. And, you know, that could be a
• 4:12
potential problem for them. You know, we sold ourselves as
• 4:18
being better than the Chinese. You know, this is we're supposed
• 4:21
to be the safe, stable country. And then when they see what
• 4:25
happened with the Russians freezing their assets and then
• 4:30
of course, using those assets to fund the Ukraine war, I mean,
• 4:34
that's almost like a worst case scenario for someone who was
• 4:37
looking at our country as a safe place as that was looking at at
• 4:42
our dollars as a safe place to store their money.
• 4:45
Yeah, yeah, I mean and the Chinese, that situation, the
• 4:49
Russian situation, the bricks in general de dollarizing, right.
• 4:54
And you know, it can get real complicated and and nobody can
• 4:58
can really pin everything down. But do you think it's safe to
• 5:01
say, and I'd be curious what our viewers think about this, this
• 5:04
as well, that no matter how you slice it or dice it, Brian, it
• 5:08
feels like the world is moving away from the dollar just at a
• 5:12
time when the United States of America needs the world to need
• 5:17
the dollar more than ever, right?
• 5:21
We have MAP record amounts of debt.
• 5:23
So we need the world to loan US money, loan U.S. dollars.
• 5:26
But at that very same time, what's the world saying?
• 5:30
They're saying, no, we're going to sell your treasuries.
• 5:33
We don't want your treasuries and we're going to use that
• 5:36
money, that Fiat paper money that you give us back and we're
• 5:40
going to buy gold and silver with it, right?
• 5:41
I mean is that, is that a simple way to look at the situation in
• 5:44
your opinion? Yeah, I, I would say so.
• 5:48
I think that a lot of these countries, you know, that are
• 5:50
looking at this from the sidelines.
• 5:53
They don't want to end up like Russia.
• 5:55
Putin had said during the interview that he did with
• 5:59
Tucker Carlson that 70% of their transactions before our
• 6:03
sanctions were done in U.S. dollars.
• 6:05
And after the sanctions, they went down to 20% dollars.
• 6:10
Of course, they ended up with the short end of the stick.
• 6:13
And I'm sure these countries don't want to end up in the
• 6:15
position that Russians in that Russia is in trying to, you
• 6:18
  know, unbury themselves from this.
• 6:20
And, you know, if they're looking at a country like China
• 6:24
who could potentially do something like this, but that
• 6:26
hasn't exhibited that behavior, they might not seem like that
• 6:31
bad of an option after all. And now you see all of them
• 6:34
starting to engage in this imbridge, you know, which is a
• 6:38
central bank digital currency that they're going to be using
• 6:42
for cross-border transactions. So a lot of these transactions
• 6:45
that used to be done in dollars, you know, they're they're not
• 6:48
going to be doing that anymore. And, you know, of course, I
• 6:51
don't know how long it'll take for all of this to really come
• 6:54
back to home and for us to really feel it.
• 6:56
But, you know, something that I had seen years ago that came out
• 7:01
of the Chicago Fed was saying that they thought 60% of all
• 7:05
$100 bills at that time were actually overseas, not even in
• 7:10
the United States. So we got a lot of of dollars
• 7:13
sloshing around out there in the world.
• 7:15
And if people aren't as interested in them anymore, I
• 7:17
mean, it could become a problem for us.
• 7:20
It could, it could lead to skyrocketing prices for silver
• 7:24
and gold measured in U.S. dollars, right?
• 7:26
But what we're really concerned about is the real value of
• 7:29
silver and gold Brawl. I think our viewer, the person
• 7:33
joining us today, which by the way, we're pleased to have you
• 7:37
here, Brian and I, you know, it's not Ron tube, it's not
• 7:40
Brian Tube, it's YouTube. So thank you for joining us.
• 7:43
Please give this a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel.
• 7:46
And I'll tell you later how you can learn more about Brian in
• 7:49
his content on YouTube as well. But I don't think I, I think all
• 7:53
of us, like we don't even realize.
• 7:55
We don't even realize how spoiled we've been, right?
• 8:00
I'm 54 years old, like my entire life, I was born at night, how
• 8:03
spoiled we've been because the US dollar was not just the world
• 8:08
reserve currency, but like the dominant force in the world.
• 8:12
And that the ramifications of D dollarization are not a good
• 8:17
thing for the United States. And I mean, I would think it's
• 8:20
safe to say that like 99.8% my neighbors, he's like, I mean, if
• 8:25
I go knock on 10 of my neighbors doors and said, what do you
• 8:28
think about D dollarization? They would look at me, you know,
• 8:31
they'd probably call the cops and say now he's really gone
• 8:33
over the edge, right? But we know this is really going
• 8:36
  on. It's really a thing and it's
• 8:39
going to result. Again, you can, you can get all
• 8:41
complicated and look at all kinds of crazy charts and
• 8:44
everything else, but the end result of it is a decrease in
• 8:48
value in the US dollar because Brian and I am I just, you can
• 8:53
tell me if I'm crazy, Brian. Trust me, Susie does it all the
• 8:56
time. But, but I mean it if, if
• 9:00
anything is in less demand, whether it's oil, bread,
• 9:05
baseball cards, no matter what it is, if it's in less demand
• 9:08
and has less uses, the value of it goes down, right?
• 9:12
  I mean, and I think that's what we're, what we're seeing
• 9:16
transpire with the dollar, be it fast or slow.
• 9:19
We're not saying it's going to happen overnight or anything
• 9:21
like that. But as that value of the dollar
• 9:23
goes down as you measure gold and silver in dollars, the value
• 9:29
of gold and silver should go up. Yeah, I mean that.
• 9:33
That's definitely my impression. And I mean, similar to to you,
• 9:38
sometimes I'll bring up the bricks.
• 9:40
And a lot of times people, they haven't heard the term.
• 9:44
They, they, they don't know what I'm talking about.
• 9:47
And it, so it's, it's really kind of sad because it's just
• 9:50
this, this thing. And yeah, you know, like you
• 9:53
said, we don't know when it's gonna happen.
• 9:55
It probably isn't gonna be soon, but it is something that's
• 9:57
coming. And there's just a general lack
• 9:59
of awareness. And I mean it, it really makes
• 10:02
me feel bad. I love this country.
• 10:04
And I wish that we wouldn't have put those sanctions on Russia
• 10:07
and froze their assets. I feel like it's permanently
• 10:10
tarnished our reputation around the world.
• 10:13
And just, you know, all these countries are not viewing the
• 10:15
dollar as being safe anymore. And yeah, it it's just.
• 10:20
And they're buying gold and they're buying gold and they're
• 10:23
buying silver. That's what they're doing,
• 10:25
right? I mean, that's their action.
• 10:27
Absolutely. You know that they gotta find
• 10:29
something that they can trust. If they're are losing trust in
• 10:33
the dollar, they're gonna go back to the precious metals.
• 10:36
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And nobody knows.
• 10:38
Nobody your average American doesn't know.
• 10:40
But that's actually good because think about this, Brian.
• 10:43
And we got a lot more to cover, guys, a ton to cover. 20% tax
• 10:46
when you buy silver and gold. We're going to get to that.
• 10:49
We're going to get the $46 silver, right?
• 10:51
But think about this, Brian. I want you to argue with me on
• 10:55
this. If you think I'm wrong, I give
• 10:56
you full, full. It might be the basement, but
• 10:59
it's just as much your show today as mine.
• 11:01
Argue with me on this. Nobody knows my neighbors don't
• 11:05
know, right? If, if, if we try to talk about
• 11:08
the bricks, we try to talk about, you know, the D
• 11:10
dollarization, any of this going on, nobody knows.
• 11:14
But isn't that in a, in a weird way or a or a or a counter
• 11:20
intuitive way, actually a good thing for gold and silver
• 11:24
stackers because we can see what appears to be coming.
• 11:28
Look, you and I don't have crystal balls.
• 11:31
You know, we can't say for sure that the the dollar's gonna
• 11:34
gonna lose significant amounts of its value, but it sure seems
• 11:38
obvious. And that when the fact that
• 11:41
nobody else knows and we're like part of this little group of
• 11:44
people that know that when when more and more of these people
• 11:47
start to wake up, if we are indeed correct, which I know we
• 11:51
are, but I could be wrong and you could be wrong as well.
• 11:53
But when these other people start to wake up, it's going to
• 11:56
be, it could be like an avalanche of new people coming
• 12:00
into the silver and gold market. And every article I read, I had
• 12:03
one up earlier from from Kitco about Bank of America.
• 12:08
The Bank of America analysts are talking about silver going
• 12:11
higher and higher and higher and how the only thing missing right
• 12:16
now is investor demand in the West.
• 12:20
So it's actually a good thing. I'd rather look and I promise
• 12:23
I'll stop talking. But but if you think about this,
• 12:26
if you and I and our viewer who's joining us today, who we
• 12:30
value very much, we're sitting here talking about, oh, we got
• 12:33
silver at 30 bucks an ounce and, and everybody and around us in
• 12:39
our country was in the middle of a, there was a craze going on.
• 12:42
Everybody was talking about silver and gold.
• 12:44
We wouldn't have much room for improvement, if that makes
• 12:48
sense. So the fact that we're like this
• 12:50
little elite Green Beret portion of the society, that we're like
• 12:56
one out of 100 or 200 people, I think it's a good thing 'cause
• 13:00
when it does happen, when they do wake up, guess what, baby?
• 13:03
You've already got, I can see you've got some silver there,
• 13:05
right? You've already got your medal.
• 13:07
We've already got our medal. Then everybody else is going to
• 13:09
be crazy about it. Right, absolutely.
• 13:12
And, you know, they say less than 1% of the US population has
• 13:18
gold and silver. So or, or silver, I should say.
• 13:22
So it, it, it could really be a huge difference.
• 13:25
And we are ahead of the power curve.
• 13:27
It is nice to be part of the, the people who have been paying
• 13:31
attention and who have been lucky enough to be aware and
• 13:34
being able to take advantage of the pricing where it's been at
• 13:38
'cause you know, I something that you had touched on before
• 13:40
was the GME situation. Imagine if just half of the
• 13:46
people, the retail investors in GME came into the silver market,
• 13:51
I mean, you know it, that flood the the amount of pressure it
• 13:55
would put on the market would be almost guaranteed to drive the
• 13:58
price up quite a bit in a relatively short amount of time.
• 14:02
Yeah, yeah, GameStop, Brian, for those of our viewers who didn't
• 14:05
know because it took me a second to be, he's talking about
• 14:07
GameStop and yeah. And GameStop, I don't know where
• 14:11
the stock is today, but there were a couple times in the last
• 14:13
few weeks where the market cap of GameStop was $15 billion.
• 14:19
You know how many ounces of silver are mined and produced
• 14:22
every year, like a little north of a billion, right?
• 14:25
I mean, that's almost like, that's almost like half.
• 14:28
And you figure 30 bucks an ounce for silver, that's 30 billion.
• 14:31
That means GameStop was valued at half of the value of all the
• 14:36
silver that's produced everywhere in the world over the
• 14:40
course of a year. I mean, are you kidding me?
• 14:43
  Right? It's crazy.
• 14:45
And yeah, you're right. Because, Brian, you know, if we
• 14:49
look at extras Pyramid, let me see if I can pull it up here.
• 14:52
We're going off the cuff here, but this stuff is so important.
• 14:55
  Hold on. There it is.
• 14:56
  There she. Is Yep it.
• 14:57
It really is. There's there's extras pyramid,
• 15:00
right? I mean, if if you look at that
• 15:03
and what what Brian's talking about here, guys, is this
• 15:06
prospect of just a little bit that oops, hold on.
• 15:10
That's shows us visually how gold and silver at the bottom
• 15:15
are tiny and it and, and actually if this was drawn to
• 15:18
scale, you probably wouldn't even be able to see gold and
• 15:21
silver, but gold and silver are like the base of everything.
• 15:25
And you know, I don't extra didn't put stocks.
• 15:27
I don't think I see stocks on here, but I put stocks up there
• 15:30
as well because most stocks now are not, are, are based on very
• 15:34
little real assets. They're they're Unicorn fart
• 15:37
desk. It's all based on hope and
• 15:39
future projections of how much money a company is going to
• 15:42
make. If a little bit of that money
• 15:45
drops out of, you know, derivatives.
• 15:47
I think we figured at one point like 1% and, and falls down into
• 15:51
the gold and silver sector, like 1% of it would like double the
• 15:56
amount of money in the gold market.
• 15:57
So I mean, it's really a crazy prospect, but everybody believes
• 16:03
it. You know, we all have this kind
• 16:05
of recency bias where, you know, everything's been this way, so
• 16:09
it'll continue to be this way and, you know, stocks will be
• 16:12
  valuable, whatever. I mean, I don't know.
• 16:14
  I don't know. We're right, absolutely.
• 16:17
And everyone, you know, it just it always seems like next week
• 16:21
is going to be the same as the previous week and next month is
• 16:23
the same as the previous month. But sometimes things do start to
• 16:26
change and, you know, hopefully people will wake up a little
• 16:29
bit. You know, another thing that
• 16:31
kind of excites me about the the GameStop movement is a lot of
• 16:36
those folks are interested in squeezing banker short
• 16:40
positions. And so I have wondered if if the
• 16:43
word gets out about the large short positions they have in
• 16:46
silver, if some of those same individuals might go, hey, I
• 16:50
think I want to squeeze the silver shorts.
• 16:52
You know, I want to, I want to get in on this silver squeeze
• 16:55
that that I've I just read about.
• 16:57
So hopefully some of those people will come over to our
• 16:59
side and we would welcome them with open arms.
• 17:02
Yeah, absolutely. Because there are there is a
• 17:05
huge paper short interest in the silver market, the the paper
• 17:09
silver markets and paper gold markets.
• 17:13
I was listening to Andrew McGuire on Live from the Vault
• 17:16
over the weekend. I think that guy has the most
• 17:18
detailed, well based understanding of the intricacies
• 17:23
of the paper silver and paper gold markets.
• 17:26
And he was talking about the paper gold market.
• 17:29
It is just screwed up right now. I saw an an article this
• 17:32
morning. The have you, have you ever
• 17:35
heard of the Bank of International Settlements,
• 17:37
Brian? I I've heard of it but not too
• 17:40
  familiar with all their shenanigans.
• 17:42
And I'm not an expert on it, but what I do know is this, the Bank
• 17:46
of International Settlements is the central bank for the central
• 17:51
banks throughout the world. And they have like diplomatic
• 17:54
immunity. People think they're, you know,
• 17:56
controlled. There's all kinds of conspiracy
• 17:58
theories surrounding the Bank for International Settlements.
• 18:00
I won't get into, but but the Bank for International
• 18:04
Settlements suddenly showed up with like this massive gold
• 18:07
swaps on their balance sheet. And people are like, what is
• 18:11
going on? Like, why is the Bank of
• 18:13
International Settlements taking these weird positions on the
• 18:17
gold market? And a lot of it has to do with
• 18:20
the Bank of England. And this was an Australian guy
• 18:23
who was like, This is why we need to get our gold.
• 18:26
I guess the the Bank of England holds a lot of gold for
• 18:28
Australia. Like, well, This is why we need
• 18:31
to get our gold back from the Bank of England, right?
• 18:34
And we know India just took back 100 tons of gold, I think from
• 18:38
the Bank of England, right? Like that's going on all around
• 18:41
the world. People are saying we want our
• 18:43
gold, right? We want our gold back.
• 18:45
This is, you know, it feels like, and, and, and what Andrew
• 18:48
McGuire was saying, and he wasn't speaking specifically to
• 18:51
this Bank of International Settlements, but he was talking
• 18:53
about the LBMA and the COMEX and the Shanghai Gold Exchange and,
• 18:59
and the, and these, you know, it's very complicated stuff, but
• 19:02
I, I can boil it down to this. Like these big electronic
• 19:06
exchanges are, are increasingly binding themselves in, in a
• 19:12
predicament when it comes to both physical gold and physical
• 19:16
silver or the, you know, being able to settle these contracts.
• 19:20
And that's what's going to happen, right?
• 19:22
Eventually, eventually all the make believe goes away, right?
• 19:26
All the like. You can only think about this,
• 19:29
Brian. And you again, come on, you can
• 19:30
argue with me if you don't, but you can only lie for so long,
• 19:34
right? That I mean, eventually truth
• 19:36
  prevails, right? Yeah, absolutely.
• 19:40
And I think that when you see, I'd heard about that situation
• 19:44
with India, when you see these countries and they want to get
• 19:48
physical possession of these metals, they want to reduce that
• 19:52
counterparty risk. And, and it, I partially think
• 19:55
it might have to do with the same thing with the confiscation
• 19:59
of assets that, you know, 'cause it's the trust has been lost
• 20:03
probably for the West overall. I mean, we're all in the G7
• 20:06
together. They see NATO making these crazy
• 20:10
moves. And and, you know, they want to
• 20:13
  untangle themselves from that mess.
• 20:15
It is my concern. And and we might just see this
• 20:18
  trend continue, maybe even accelerate.
• 20:21
Yeah, it's the whole, the whole world system being based on
• 20:26
nothing but confidence and trust, right.
• 20:30
And, and we, we can look and see, it's plain to see that the
• 20:34
trust level between countries is deteriorating.
• 20:38
Man, this is one thing after another's coming to mind that I
• 20:41
want to mention this as well, right as we talk about the BRICS
• 20:44
countries. And I don't know who said this,
• 20:47
but I think this was one of the most insightful, brilliant
• 20:50
things. And it makes the hearts of
• 20:52
silver and gold investors warm with joy when they hear this.
• 20:57
Like we know, as you and I talked about, the world is
• 21:00
rejecting the dollar little by little, right?
• 21:02
There's this whole Project Sandman theory that, you know,
• 21:06
whatever. And that's to me, that's really
• 21:09
more most a conspiracy theory. But we know at minimum, right?
• 21:13
Chop by chop by chop, they're chopping away at the value of
• 21:17
the US dollar. And everybody's like, oh, the
• 21:19
bricks, the bricks or, you know, blah, blah, blah.
• 21:22
But this is what's really cool and really interesting and and
• 21:25
it's and it's a fact, right? The BRICS countries may not
• 21:29
trust the dollar, but but they trust each other's currencies
• 21:35
even less. So what are they going to?
• 21:37
They're going to silver and gold.
• 21:40
Right now that makes sense. It'll be the backing for their
• 21:44
transactions. And, you know, I'm not too
• 21:46
familiar with it, but I had seen an article and a few years back,
• 21:50
I believe, and it was about the digital you want and they had an
• 21:53
expiration date on it. And and so, you know, that could
• 21:56
encourage people to to spend them, which could, you know,
• 22:00
help drive their economy just through consumerism, But that's
• 22:04
pretty sketchy. And so it makes sense that they
• 22:07
don't have a lot of trust in each other's currencies.
• 22:09
And silver and gold is would be the go to in a situation like
• 22:13
that. That's what they go to.
• 22:14
You know what, hold on I got. Well, then we'll come back to
• 22:16
Pendek because I got to show this as well.
• 22:19
Hold on, hold on. Where is it cause of what you
• 22:25
just said. You know it's not just you that
• 22:27
said that, Brian. This guy said it right here.
• 22:32
OK, Alan, Alan Greenspan said this.
• 22:36
OK, quote. Yet gold has special properties
• 22:40
that no other currency, right? Not the yuan, not the renminbi,
• 22:44
not the whatever you know, not the dollar, not the yen, any OK.
• 22:48
Gold has special properties that no other currency with the
• 22:51
possible exception of silver. So he says gold and silver have
• 22:54
these qualities can claim for more than two millennia, which
• 22:58
is I believe 1000 years, gold has had virtually unquestioned
• 23:02
acceptance as payment. It has never required the credit
• 23:07
guarantee of a third party. That's Alan Greenspan, who was
• 23:12
the the chair of the Federal Reserve for a lot of time,
• 23:15
right? He said that, you know, I think
• 23:16
back in the 60s or 70s, but he was speaking the truth when he
• 23:20
said that, that, you know, that, that that's why silver.
• 23:23
That's right there that if you, if any of our viewers have any
• 23:26
question why central banks are buying gold, Why, why, why, why,
• 23:31
why countries are accumulating massive amounts of silver.
• 23:34
There it is right there in that one paragraph.
• 23:37
You can Google it yourself. Alan Greenspan.
• 23:40
Brian, I need to say thank you to.
• 23:41
Oh, go ahead, buddy, Go. Ahead.
• 23:43
That's fine. Yeah, I mean that very
• 23:45
insightful. From yeah, yeah, you know,
• 23:49
that's Alan Greenspan that said that.
• 23:53
Interesting. And the extras pyramid we looked
• 23:56
at earlier, that was John Exter. Who was he?
• 24:00
He's the one that developed that whole concept of extras pyramid.
• 24:03
Oh, by the way, John Exter worked for the New York Federal
• 24:06
Reserve Bank, and he only died like 22 years ago or something
• 24:09
like that. So, you know, there is, you
• 24:12
know, these guys, it's interesting, these guys at the
• 24:14
Fed, you know, before they become fully ingrained, tend to
• 24:17
be able to tell the truth. So we're going to do an update
• 24:20
here. This is always one of the most
• 24:22
exciting parts of the show, Brian, when we update the silver
• 24:25
and gold price. And hey, we've got gold up
• 24:28
$4.00, Gold 2324. This is in silver, $29.41 per
• 24:36
oz, down about a dime. But I want to say thank you to
• 24:39
my channel sponsor, our channel sponsor, 'cause this is our
• 24:42
channel, Pendex. If you want to get your hands on
• 24:45
some gold, silver or platinum, check out Pendex.
• 24:48
Now I have an interesting story. Can you see on the screen the
• 24:51
coin that's up there, Brian? Let me I cannot.
• 24:55
  OK. Oh, hold on.
• 24:56
Did I forget to? I did.
• 24:58
I still have Alan Greenspan right?
• 25:00
He knows what well we're at at what, 29 1/2?
• 25:06
And then China, right now they're a little over 33, at
• 25:09
least according to what I saw on X earlier.
• 25:12
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to get to that one
• 25:14
  later. Hold on here.
• 25:15
Now, do you see the the, the, the coin on this?
• 25:18
OK. I apologize to you, Brian.
• 25:20
I apologize to all the basement dwellers.
• 25:23
I'm not going to repeat everything about pin backs.
• 25:25
I told you that verbally. But do yourself a favor, throw
• 25:29
pin backs into the mix next time you're going to buy gold, silver
• 25:32
or platinum group metals and they can help with IRA
• 25:36
conversions. And one thing about Pinbex that
• 25:40
I've always found is, is you always get more metal for your
• 25:45
money with Pinbex. Now, the Krugerrand used to be,
• 25:48
was, was like, was like my favorite coin.
• 25:50
And I think I'm falling back in love with it, Brian.
• 25:53
But there's an interesting story about the Krugerrand that I want
• 25:58
to share with you. The Krugerrand is in in South
• 26:02
Africa is and the reason I loved it so much is my great grandpa
• 26:05
was from South Africa. He was a a Dutch boar.
• 26:09
But it's interesting. Yeah, but it's in.
• 26:11
That's not really the interesting thing.
• 26:13
The interesting thing about the boar wars, OK, which were fought
• 26:17
between the Dutch and the British in South Africa and it
• 26:20
was like 19 O 219 O one that they were fought over.
• 26:25
Well, it's the way it the way it transpired was the Dutch had
• 26:29
colonized parts of South Africa and they were near the coast.
• 26:33
And then the British showed up and they were the most powerful
• 26:36
country in the world. And they said, hey, you Dutch,
• 26:38
get out of here. We want the land by the coast.
• 26:40
You need to go more towards the interior.
• 26:43
So they pushed all the Dutch into the interior.
• 26:45
And these were farmers. So they farmed on the interior
• 26:48
of South Africa. The Dutch did.
• 26:51
One day, one of the Dutch farmers was at a Creek and
• 26:54
discovered a massive amount of gold in the Creek.
• 26:57
He was like, whoa, what's going on here?
• 26:59
And it wound up becoming like one of the biggest gold mines at
• 27:03
that time in the world. Well, then suddenly the British
• 27:06
told the Dutch, hey, we changed our mind.
• 27:10
We think we want to move to the interior with you as well.
• 27:13
And that's what started the the Bora Wars.
• 27:16
It was fought over essentially gold.
• 27:19
And here I am. That's really interesting, I
• 27:22
didn't know that. Well, it and you know what's?
• 27:25
Hold on here. What the heck?
• 27:27
OK, here we go. The Boer War was fought 1899 to
• 27:31
19 O2 between Great Britain and and two Boer Republics while
• 27:36
they're British. This is what's interesting.
• 27:38
And then the think about this in terms of what goes on in the
• 27:40
world now. While the British politicians
• 27:44
claimed they were defending their suzerainity, which I have
• 27:47
no idea what that means, over the South African Republic, many
• 27:52
historians emphasize that the real contest was for the
• 27:56
control, excuse me, of the rich with Witwater Strand gold mining
• 28:02
complex. OK, This complex was the largest
• 28:05
gold mining operation in the world at that time.
• 28:08
And gold played a significant role in fuelling the conflict.
• 28:12
So that gets me thinking like even you know it today as we as
• 28:16
we look at what goes on in the world and the reasons behind a
• 28:19
lot of the wars. I know even just over the
• 28:21
weekend there was this clip that came out of Lindsey Graham
• 28:24
talking about Ukraine and why it's so important that we defend
• 28:28
Ukraine because they have trillions of dollars of
• 28:31
resources and we need to make sure we keep control of those
• 28:34
  resources. It's interesting throughout
• 28:37
history how important things like gold and other resources,
• 28:40
the the, the position they play in terms of, of of, of of
• 28:45
  conflicts between countries. Right.
• 28:49
  Absolutely. Yeah.
• 28:50
OK. So if you're in the United, are
• 28:53
we the luckiest? Let's ask this question, Brian,
• 28:55
I'll ask you this question. Are we the luckiest stackers in
• 28:58
the world in the United States? The basement dweller who's
• 29:01
joining us today that buys physical silver, maybe buys some
• 29:04
physical gold and platinum as well.
• 29:06
Are we the luckiest stackers in the world today?
• 29:10
Yes, I do believe we are among the luckiest stackers in the
• 29:14
world today. And the reason for that is
• 29:16
because we have access to the lowest prices you can get on
• 29:22
silver. You know, here in the United
• 29:26
States, most of our states have a 0 tax rate, and we also have
• 29:31
access to the suppressed prices from the paper traders in the
• 29:35
West. So I'm like we had touched on
• 29:38
earlier, the spot price for silver in China right now is
• 29:43
just over $33. Here we're at 2940 or something,
• 29:49
I'd say, you know, that's basically a three and a half
• 29:51
dollar difference. And they're still selling lots
• 29:54
of silver out of the Shanghai exchange.
• 29:57
They're still selling lots of silver in China.
• 29:59
So all of those folks are paying 3 1/2 dollars more per oz every
• 30:03
time they want to get some silver, which really makes me
• 30:07
feel good and makes me feel confident that I'm getting a
• 30:10
really good deal when I'm buying it out here.
• 30:14
You literally won't be able to get a better price on silver
• 30:16
anywhere else. Maybe there would be some places
• 30:19
that it would be comparable or the same.
• 30:23
Yeah, Yeah, that's, you know, that I'm going to interject
• 30:26
something. I want you to keep going, but I
• 30:27
never really thought about that. Number one, there's actually two
• 30:30
reasons why, Brian, that we're the luckiest stackers in the
• 30:33
  world. That's right, Basement dwell.
• 30:35
There's not one reason, but two reasons why you and I and Brian
• 30:39
are the luckiest stackers in the world, right?
• 30:41
Because we're not generally having to pay any type of huge
• 30:46
sales tax or some states, I think there's six or seven that
• 30:49
still have sales tax or any big value added tax.
• 30:53
And I'm going to show you some data here in a minute that's
• 30:55
going to blow you away. When you think about what you
• 30:58
what it would be like if you lived in Great Britain or some
• 31:01
of these other countries, the amount of tax that you would
• 31:03
have, but we don't pay. Nope, no tax, right?
• 31:06
If I go if I go by one of these beautiful American silver Eagles
• 31:12
at the my local coin shop, right, I'm not paying any sales
• 31:15
tax. But on top of that, the bonus
• 31:17
and I really appreciate you bringing that to our attention,
• 31:20
Brian is the fact that that we also get the benefit by the
• 31:24
artificially suppressed low prices on the COMEX.
• 31:27
Thank you. Thank you Brian, you made my
• 31:30
day. I'm going to go buy some silver.
• 31:31
I'll. Let you come to the live stream.
• 31:33
You bet. Guys, I'm going to hand this
• 31:35
over to Brian. See you later.
• 31:36
  Bye. Going to buy some.
• 31:38
Silver. I got a silver shirt on, yeah.
• 31:42
  That's perfect for the conversation.
• 31:46
Yeah, I mean it, it's something we're we're getting the same
• 31:48
prices as these banksters and, you know, that are pulling all
• 31:51
these shenanigans. They're taking all the risk.
• 31:53
They get busted sometimes for spoofing that they're the ones
• 31:56
who are risking prison time over this.
• 31:58
And you can just take access of that pricing?
• 32:02
Yeah. Well, look at this, look at, I
• 32:04
mean, if we go back to Pemex real quick, South African crew
• 32:07
grants, I'm going to show you one 'cause I went to my off site
• 32:10
storage location. I'm back in love with the crew
• 32:13
grant. I, the people know that couple
• 32:14
years ago it's all I talked about.
• 32:16
I love the crew grant. But I mean, look, you can buy,
• 32:19
let's say you buy 100 crew grants right now.
• 32:21
You can buy them for $32 each at pin backs, right.
• 32:24
Let me let me refresh that to make sure I've got a up to speed
• 32:27
price. 3195 they lowered the price.
• 32:31
That's because silver dropped by a nickel.
• 32:33
But I mean, that's crazy that in the United States, just compared
• 32:39
to to China, like you said, you can buy a sovereign minted
• 32:43
beautiful pure silver coin for less than what they're selling
• 32:48
physical whatever silver for on the Shanghai Futures Exchange in
• 32:52
  the Shanghai Gold Exchange. Yeah.
• 32:55
It really is a blessing for us and I hope that people recognize
• 32:59
that. I mean in, in Argentina they
• 33:01
have a 50% tax rate on precious metals.
• 33:05
Yeah, I, I had a message I'll go money fest on X about it.
• 33:08
And that's what he he said was it's 50%.
• 33:12
I had asked Orin about it, Orin Elbaz, the silver hermit and,
• 33:17
and he had said that they have a 17% value added tax in Israel.
• 33:22
So I mean they're paying a lot more in those countries than we
• 33:25
are. And like you said, you know,
• 33:26
the, the last, whatever it is, six or seven states that have
• 33:30
taxes, I don't even think they're that high.
• 33:33
So even if you're in one of those states, you're, you're not
• 33:35
going to be paying as much as someone in Argentina or Israel.
• 33:39
Yeah, let me, let me pull this up.
• 33:42
Yeah, here we go. I asked Microsoft Copilot about
• 33:47
about taxes and this is what it came back at.
• 33:49
Switzerland 8.1 percent, Germany almost 20%, the United Kingdom
• 33:55
20%, France 20%, Italy 22%. So think about that guys.
• 34:02
Think about that. If you're an Italian and you
• 34:05
want to go buy that Kruger Ant that I just showed you, right,
• 34:11
  for 30, let's say, let's say it's $30.00, right?
• 34:14
You're going to pay another $6 in tax on top of that, right?
• 34:20
So if it's $32, you're going to end up paying almost $40 to get
• 34:24
yourself one ounce. And it's same thing if you're in
• 34:27
the United Kingdom or France. You know, I mean, it's, it's
• 34:31
really, we are really spoiled in the United States, like you
• 34:35
said. I mean, and I really appreciate
• 34:36
you bringing that up. Number one, we don't pay these
• 34:38
taxes and in most states we don't pay any sales tax now,
• 34:42
which makes no sense that they would charge sales tax on money.
• 34:46
It'd be like if you went to your be like if you went to your,
• 34:49
your bank to change $100 bill into five 20s and they said we
• 34:54
got to charge you a sales tax on that.
• 34:56
I mean, that's a whole different subject, but ridiculous that any
• 34:59
states still get away with what I think is almost an illegal
• 35:02
practice of charging sales tax on money.
• 35:05
But there's no sales tax and we're getting these artificially
• 35:08
low prices. It's it's really, really
• 35:11
  astounding. It really is.
• 35:13
And so sometimes I think about that and, and you know, when,
• 35:16
when these folks are buying in these other countries, like you
• 35:18
were saying almost $40, imagine having to wait cause a lot of
• 35:23
us, you know, will buy. We're looking at the premium and
• 35:27
then something like that Krugerrand, you were just
• 35:28
pointing out that's not a very high premium, you know, so, so
• 35:33
we, we aren't going to have to wait for the price to move that
• 35:35
much to potentially get our money back out of that.
• 35:38
Of course, I, I'm in it for the long term.
• 35:40
I, I know most stackers are. So we're just planning on
• 35:42
sitting on this stuff for for years on and years, but it is a
• 35:47
a much more comfortable position to be in.
• 35:50
Yeah, here's here's the the Shanghai Ghost Up daily update.
• 35:55
So this is Silver AG on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, $33.04
• 36:01
today and the vaults there and that's a physical market are
• 36:07
like near very, let's just say historically very low levels
• 36:12
right below 700 tons. Yep, they're getting drained
• 36:17
right now. While the comex in the LBMA are
• 36:21
getting drained at the same at the same darn at the same darn
• 36:25
  time. What about?
• 36:26
OK. So we talked about the, about
• 36:29
the silver price, Brian and, and, and what does it mean,
• 36:34
right, When we look at the future projections for silver
• 36:38
and we hear about this unbelievable prospect of
• 36:41
industrial demand for silver, which we all know is true,
• 36:44
  right? And there's this unbelievable
• 36:46
industrial demand and there's a big deficit already right now
• 36:51
has been what, the last three or four years, like 600 million oz
• 36:54
  deficit, cumulatively speaking. OK.
• 36:58
And the missing link is in the West, the Western retail
• 37:03
investor. Cause like we talked about
• 37:05
earlier, they haven't spoke up. But do you think that the
• 37:07
mainstream media is maybe starting to catch on to what's
• 37:11
happening right now? They are starting to catch on a
• 37:15
little bit and and it could really start to pick up some
• 37:19
steam as more people see these articles.
• 37:22
Bloomberg had recently done a report about China encouraging
• 37:27
its citizens to buy silver. So so they're starting to get
• 37:30
some awareness of what's going on.
• 37:32
CNBC had recently released an article about gold hitting a new
• 37:36
all time high. So, you know, folks who don't
• 37:39
pay much attention to the market might have seen that and going,
• 37:41
huh, I wonder why gold recently hit a all time high?
• 37:46
And and also another guy who's who's not really mainstream, but
• 37:50
but he does have a huge following here in the United
• 37:54
States. Alex Jones has been talking
• 37:56
about silver on X 2.3 million followers for him on there.
• 38:03
He had a yeah, so a lot of people and and it it they do his
• 38:08
videos, I bet get a lot of traffic.
• 38:11
He had Doctor Kirk Elliott on there and they were talking
• 38:14
about everything, silver, price manipulation, you know, what's
• 38:19
going on with the market. And so everybody who saw that,
• 38:23
you know, that's a little more awareness, kind of planting that
• 38:26
seed for the first time. And you know, it wouldn't
• 38:29
surprise me as the weeks and months wear on, if more
• 38:33
Americans decide to start protecting a little bit of their
• 38:36
  wealth with some precious metals.
• 38:38
Yeah, yeah, and here's I pulled up an article.
• 38:41
Hopefully I got the right buttons pushed here.
• 38:43
Yes, I believe I do. This is from CNBC, right?
• 38:47
So that's mainstream financial media talking about another
• 38:52
mainstream American source, which is Costco.
• 38:55
I think all these people that are buying gold and silver at
• 38:59
Costco for the excuse me, for the most part are new stackers,
• 39:04
right? They're new people and yeah, we
• 39:07
welcome them in, right? I mean, they, they are new to
• 39:12
the silver and gold sector. Probably just starting to learn
• 39:16
about it trying, you know, obviously probably realizing
• 39:20
that the value of their money in the banks is going down, waking
• 39:25
up to the prospect that the future doesn't look real bright
• 39:28
for the dollar in moving and buying things like silver go and
• 39:31
buying it at Costco. I think eventually these people
• 39:34
that are buying silver and gold at Costco, a lot of them will
• 39:37
wind up buying from the specialist, right, because
• 39:40
people brought up bring up a good point like Costco won't buy
• 39:43
your gold or silver back that they'll wind up going to some of
• 39:46
the other big online bullion dealers.
• 39:49
Hopefully they'll they'll they'll be fortunate enough to
• 39:52
learn about my channel sponsor pin backs where they can get the
• 39:55
most metal for their money. But no matter where they they
• 39:58
wind up. You know, you got to figure that
• 40:01
a certain portion of these new stackers are going to be
• 40:03
converted into long term holders of silver and gold and, and
• 40:08
especially if we get this continued upswing in mainstream
• 40:14
media coverage 'cause it's not just there.
• 40:17
Here's another article that I thought was really interesting.
• 40:19
This is on Yahoo. Yahoo Finance's running this
• 40:22
one, Yahoo Finance, which is the mainstream of mainstream, right?
• 40:28
And then it's an actual article by Reuters that they're running.
• 40:32
So, you know, this was yesterday warning about like we talked
• 40:36
earlier, the Fed speakers, we got five Fed speakers today.
• 40:39
Did I, did I show you that already?
• 40:40
Did I show that? Earlier, yeah.
• 40:43
What the heck are they have? Why do they have 5 fed speakers
• 40:46
in one day? What are they cleaning?
• 40:49
I mean I think the are the markets closed tomorrow for
• 40:51
Juneteenth? I think maybe they are.
• 40:53
I know the I saw somewhere somebody mentioned that the that
• 40:57
the comex was closed tomorrow and was going to be closed for
• 41:02
like two or three days. I don't know.
• 41:04
Thank you metal Seer for that super chat my friend.
• 41:06
Let me pull him up. There he is.
• 41:08
Thank you metal seer. And you know what?
• 41:10
Hey, another one from Metal Seer Hold.
• 41:13
On. Here, he You know what?
• 41:15
Thank you. So, so let's back up on
• 41:18
something here and then I want to write rail on the Fed for a
• 41:20
little bit, but metal Seer says. Do you have a few more minutes,
• 41:24
Brian or I keeping you too long? OK.
• 41:26
So that, that complicated word, let's go back here 'cause
• 41:30
remember the British, when they, when they, when they wanted to
• 41:33
steal all that gold from the, from the Dutch, they did, they,
• 41:39
oh, shoot, hold on here. They didn't want to admit that
• 41:42
they were doing it to steal the gold.
• 41:44
They were. They claimed it was.
• 41:46
  They were defending their suzeranity.
• 41:49
It's like Suzie and my wife. Oh my God.
• 41:52
Thank you for pulling that up, metal sear.
• 41:55
Yeah, hold on here, Yellow. Yeah, 'cause I'm like, what does
• 41:57
that word mean? I was wondering the same thing.
• 42:00
OK, now I don't know why I'd have spent all this time
• 42:02
highlighting it for everybody. It's it's it's amazing.
• 42:05
  Everybody anyway. Suzeranity.
• 42:07
That's why they were not trying. Just to be clear, the British
• 42:11
had it was just coincidental that there was a the world's
• 42:14
biggest gold mine on this land that they were trying to seize
• 42:17
from the Dutch. That was just a coincidence.
• 42:19
They were really trying to protect their susser nanity,
• 42:24
whatever the heck that means. So let's go back and see.
• 42:27
Hold on here. Can you guys see that?
• 42:29
  Oh, no. Bear with me.
• 42:32
All right, here we go. Susser and anity.
• 42:35
According to Metal Sir, a dominant state controls the
• 42:38
foreign policy in some of the internal policy of another.
• 42:42
OK, interesting. Otherwise sovereign state, the
• 42:46
tributary state retains a certain degree of autonomy and
• 42:50
independence. So the British were just trying
• 42:52
to make sure that the Dutch remember that they were the ones
• 42:56
who were really in charge. This.
• 42:57
Is our colony. This is our.
• 43:00
  Colony. This is our colony.
• 43:01
  Yeah, Yeah. Go ahead.
• 43:05
Just to touch on what you were saying about Costco.
• 43:07
  I, I think that you're, I would assume that you're right.
• 43:10
Those are new people that I think a big thing for people
• 43:13
when they're coming into the market is, is trust.
• 43:16
Like who can I trust? Where can I go?
• 43:18
They know that they can trust Costco.
• 43:20
It's a big company. And so, you know, they're that
• 43:22
they're gonna, they're gonna buy there and they will end up
• 43:26
having to go to, but you know, the sources that we go to, you
• 43:29
know, the places that regular stackers will go to, eventually
• 43:32
they'll make their way over to them.
• 43:34
They're all going to go to Pimbex.
• 43:35
That's where they're going to go.
• 43:37
You know, you know what's? But you know what's interesting?
• 43:40
There was another article about people complaining about the
• 43:45
packaging. This was more in specific to the
• 43:48
silver coins as they were selling American Silver Eagles
• 43:51
for a little while. Costco was and people were
• 43:54
complaining that like the packages would come and the, and
• 43:57
the, you know, they weren't packaged very, very well, you
• 44:01
know, and I, and that made me think like, is it?
• 44:02
You know, I've bought, I've done numerous transactions with pen
• 44:06
backs over the last year plus. And I'm always amazed at how
• 44:10
their packages come. They're like wrapped up like
• 44:12
little Fort Knox, right? Like, and that's a benefit of
• 44:15
  working with a specialist, right?
• 44:16
I mean, shipping gold and silver bars is way different than
• 44:22
shipping Hershey chocolate bars, which I'm sure that that Costco
• 44:26
has a, you know, that's their specialty.
• 44:28
Whereas you know companies like pin Backs or the other online
• 44:31
bullying dealers, they know, they know, they know how to ship
• 44:34
the the metals effectively. Yeah, this is their wheelhouse.
• 44:37
  Absolutely. That's right.
• 44:39
That's right. Oh, where was I?
• 44:40
Yeah. So why is the Fed have 5:00 and
• 44:42
  then I'll. I'll be quick.
• 44:44
My blood pressure is going up. Five fed governors speaking
• 44:48
today. I mean, it's really is
• 44:50
  absolutely, absolutely ridiculous.
• 44:54
OK, we covered that. You know what else?
• 44:56
Let's touch on this, Brian. Let's talk.
• 44:59
Let's talk about the gold to silver ratio.
• 45:01
What are your thoughts on that right now?
• 45:03
And I'll pull up a graph so people can visually see what
• 45:05
you're referring to. Yeah, the gold to silver ratio
• 45:10
has moved down a little bit. I think we're sitting at about
• 45:14
78 to one right now if I'm correct.
• 45:17
I'm I'm not sure where somewhere.
• 45:18
In the mid to high seventies. And of course, you know, that's
• 45:23
down from from in the 80s where it was at recently.
• 45:28
You know, if we look back not that far, just in 2021, the gold
• 45:32
to silver ratio had gotten down to 64 to one.
• 45:36
And you know if we were to return to that today, that would
• 45:39
pop the price up, you know over $36 probably about 3640, you
• 45:43
know some somewhere in that neighborhood.
• 45:46
And you know if you if you look back further in time, of course
• 45:49
it had been a lot lower in 1980. It actually dipped below the 20
• 45:54
to one ratio. And let's just say, you know, if
• 45:57
we didn't even get. That on, can you see it on the
• 46:00
screen right now, Brian? Oh yes, Uh huh.
• 46:02
So again, in 79 we were at 23. I can't really zoom in on 80,
• 46:07
but yeah, here we go. You got down to 18.96 in 1980.
• 46:13
I'm gonna do the math while you're talking and see.
• 46:15
  What's a little under 20 to one on 1980?
• 46:19
But even if we just got down to like 45 to one, you know, that
• 46:22
would pop the price up to over $50.00 an ounce today.
• 46:26
And, and I do feel like that's something that we could see, you
• 46:32
know, why? Well, because if we, if we get
• 46:34
to $50 or just over $50.00, that would be silver breaking.
• 46:39
That's all time high in nominal terms.
• 46:41
And that's something that we've seen gold do recently.
• 46:43
Gold has hit all recent all time highs in nominal terms.
• 46:48
And so I, I do feel like we could potentially see silver
• 46:52
follow that, that path, you know, here in the not so distant
• 46:56
future, maybe, you know, maybe in the next year, maybe.
• 46:59
Oh, that's crazy talk. Brian Silver's never going to go
• 47:03
up. What are you talking about?
• 47:04
I I try not to get too crazy with it.
• 47:08
Yeah. And if we got down to 20 to one,
• 47:11
OK, which has happened here a couple times in the past, I just
• 47:14
want to remember not just, you know, there it is, 18.
• 47:17
That was in the 1960s. Nineteen 80 obviously it got
• 47:21
below 20 at 20 to one that would be silver at $115.00 per oz and
• 47:28
if you look at this chart $115.00 per oz.
• 47:32
How does that make you feel anyway when you look at this
• 47:35
chart if I look at this chart and somebody didn't even tell me
• 47:38
what it was and said what do you think the average level was on
• 47:42
this chart over time? I would say around 50 right
• 47:46
about this this level here where I have my cursor.
• 47:48
I mean, you know, we've been above it for a while.
• 47:50
We've been below it, but let's just say 50 and a 50 to one,
• 47:55
  we're at a 46 that a $2300 gold. We're at a $46 per oz level 46
• 48:01
dollars right right now silver and go ahead, go ahead.
• 48:05
There's precedence for this. I, I mean, did this is not, you
• 48:09
know, outside of reality or anything like that, you know.
• 48:13
And this is a is a ratio. And so it's a difference.
• 48:16
I think I'm going to explain to everybody there's a big
• 48:18
difference between a ratio and like an index, right?
• 48:22
Like you could say like the S&P 500 index that could go up to
• 48:27
Infinity, right? But a ratio compares, compares 2
• 48:31
things to each other. So it is more, and I'm not a
• 48:34
statistician, but I, I, I mean, to me, it's just common sense
• 48:39
that a ratio, especially when you're talking about silver and
• 48:41
gold are going to, are going to stay within a certain range and
• 48:45
fluctuate within that range. So that, that, you know, when we
• 48:49
look at this in the range over the, over the last, how many
• 48:53
years, this is probably almost 100 years, right?
• 48:56
Or more than 100 years has been between, let's say 20 and 1:20,
• 49:01
right? And you know, right in the,
• 49:03
  what's, what's in the middle between 20 and 120, you know, 50
• 49:06
or 60. So, you know, this is not crazy
• 49:09
talk. And I love what you said, Brian,
• 49:12
and I want everybody to remember this as well.
• 49:15
Let's say we got to that 50 average ratio again ratio range
• 49:20
and we had $4650 per oz silver. That's the nominal all time high
• 49:26
for silver, right? And Brian so keenly pointed out
• 49:31
to us basement dwellers, wow, what a treat to have him on
• 49:33
today. You don't have to just listen to
• 49:35
me, right? He brought up something great
• 49:37
and that is that gold recently had did hit a new nominal all
• 49:42
time high. So silver hitting a nominal all
• 49:44
time high of of of 50 dollars, $46 per oz is not like crazy
• 49:51
  talk, right Brian? Am I?
• 49:53
Am I crazy? Not, not at all.
• 49:56
I mean that this is very much in the cards.
• 49:58
Yeah, yeah, very interesting. Now I got, Now I've got to show
• 50:02
you this as well, 'cause this goes right with what you just
• 50:04
said. Hold on here, add the stage.
• 50:07
Everybody likes it. There's that guy, he's great.
• 50:09
Jordan, Roy Byrne. That's not what I'm going to
• 50:11
show you. I wanted to show you.
• 50:12
There's the comex that was the cede in my yard with a they all
• 50:17
had comex written on their foreheads.
• 50:19
That's not what we're going to look at.
• 50:20
They. Won't know what you're talking
• 50:22
  about next. Yeah, right.
• 50:24
Yeah, There we go. This is what I I drew this with
• 50:27
my kids markers. This is the silver rainbow.
• 50:31
And it goes with what you just said, because over here you've
• 50:33
got gold, right? And and to the left of of
• 50:36
silver, you have copper. And I'll argue right, I'll argue
• 50:42
that silver. Silver is like a, a bipolar
• 50:45
metal, right? Silver's half monetary like
• 50:48
gold, but silver's also half industrial like copper, right?
• 50:53
And you just brought up a great point that gold, and that's up
• 50:56
at the top there in that light blue I wrote right above gold.
• 50:59
Gold hit an all time high in nominal terms, right?
• 51:02
Oh, coincidentally, silver's other half brother copper, the
• 51:07
other half of silver, the the industrial site copper also hit
• 51:11
an all time high. All right.
• 51:13
And there was a squeeze in the copper markets.
• 51:15
It didn't get a lot of attention, but that was like
• 51:17
three or four weeks ago. A few people pointed out like
• 51:20
there's a squeeze in the copper market when copper shot up and
• 51:24
and we know that the central banks are buying gold, but I
• 51:26
would also, and there's the orange underneath it, right?
• 51:29
The half brother I have written at the very bottom in, in with
• 51:33
red underline 'cause it's that important.
• 51:36
When you compare the fundamentals of silver to both
• 51:39
copper and to gold, I would argue the fundamentals for
• 51:42
silver are better than either of those metals.
• 51:45
So silver and I love gold and I love copper, don't get me wrong.
• 51:48
But silver, you know, whether we're looking at that gold to
• 51:51
silver ratio or we're looking at just the fundamental silver has
• 51:55
a lot of room to move. Absolutely.
• 51:58
And that's, I'm really glad that you pointed that out.
• 52:01
I cause 'cause it's, it's right there, the precedent's there.
• 52:05
And, and it is a heavily industrial metal nowadays.
• 52:09
And of course it still has its monetary aspects, which is, you
• 52:12
know, why we all hang on to it. And so, so yeah, it's, it's very
• 52:17
much in the cards. I mean, we could see it.
• 52:21
It's all, it's all time high in nominal terms, just like we saw
• 52:24
with copper and gold. I I really do believe that.
• 52:27
Yeah. And let's and let's emphasize
• 52:29
nominal right versus and that just means that the number right
• 52:35
inflation adjusted because you know $50.00 in 1980.
• 52:41
I've heard all types of different estimates and today it
• 52:43
depends on how you want to calculate what the inflation
• 52:45
rates are. But you know, well, north of
• 52:48
$100 in today's dollars is what silver would have to hit the hit
• 52:53
a an inflation adjusted all time high.
• 52:56
I've heard numbers as high as $185 per oz to to reach a new
• 53:01
inflation adjusted all time high for the price of silver.
• 53:05
Brian, we got 700 people all around the world joining us
• 53:08
today. What did I forget to ask you?
• 53:10
Is there anything I forgot to ask you or to talk about or
• 53:13
anything you want to bring up? And then I want to bring people
• 53:16
out to your channel real quickly to show them where they can
• 53:20
learn more about you. OK, you bet.
• 53:22
Well, everyone, thanks for joining us.
• 53:24
It's great to have you here in the basement.
• 53:26
You know, one thing I just wanted to touch on for folks to
• 53:29
think about is a lot of times you'll see people posting
• 53:33
online, you know, things that say thing like, oh, but you
• 53:35
  know, Silver's this useless relic.
• 53:37
It's, it's something from the old days that it's not relevant
• 53:41
anymore. And, and the thing that's crazy
• 53:44
to me about that is, is they're, they're using a cell phone or a
• 53:48
computer that has silver in it to post these messages.
• 53:53
I, I mean, silver is in virtually all electronics that
• 53:56
we have today in the modern age. It is the most conductive metal.
• 54:01
It's used in electrical contacts, printed circuit
• 54:04
boards, it's in TV's, remote controls, computers,
• 54:08
  smartphones, electric cars, solar panels.

It's even in circuit Breakers. I mean, it's in virtually
• 54:16
everything today and, and it's it's extremely useful.
• 54:21
So that it's just something that I just wanted to touch on.
• 54:24
Yeah, silver is everywhere. Silver is I heard one of my
• 54:29
viewers brought up a great point and I'm and I can see this
• 54:34
making sense when it comes to silver, is silver the new oil,
• 54:39
right? I mean, 100 years ago right now,
• 54:42
oil was was not really all that useful to the world.
• 54:45
But then suddenly with the internal combustion engine and
• 54:49
different refining process, I'm sorry, oil kind of powered the
• 54:53
last 100 years in the world. Now as we're moving into the
• 54:58
green energy revolution, as we're moving into the
• 55:02
electrification of the planet, as we're moving into the
• 55:06
technology revolution, what's the common thread amongst all
• 55:11
these things going on? It's silver, right?
• 55:14
I mean, and, and, and this really was like a boom wake up
• 55:18
call for me moment when I'm like, you know what, this guy's
• 55:22
got a point. Silver could really be for the
• 55:25
next 100 years, what oil was for the previous hundred years.
• 55:30
And I'm not saying oil's going away, but he brought up this
• 55:32
point like, you know, people would heat their houses with
• 55:35
coal 100 years ago and they would cook on wood stoves and
• 55:40
they would, you know, and then oil came around and, and, and
• 55:43
natural gas, but you know, but, and changed everything in the
• 55:46
world, right? Steam powered tractors back then
• 55:49
and all this. And now, you know, now as we
• 55:51
move into this next 100 years, I don't know, Brian, is it just me
• 55:55
or I mean, it feels like to me that like with with the green
• 55:57
energy revolution, with the technology revolution, that that
• 56:02
the common thread I see amongst all of those kind of things that
• 56:06
  are transpiring is silver. Absolutely.
• 56:09
I mean, you're going to want that most conductive metal for
• 56:13
for all of these devices, for all of these products.
• 56:16
And it really isn't in a changing world that is
• 56:20
  modernizing and electrifying you.
• 56:23
You need silver for that. So yeah, that that's very
• 56:26
insightful that that guy brought that up.
• 56:28
Just like oil, you know? Yeah, it could be the, it could
• 56:30
be the new oil. I mean, it, it really possibly
• 56:33
could. I want to bring everybody out to
• 56:35
the, the, the the fastest growing YouTube channel focused
• 56:42
on bullion. This is Brian's channel.
• 56:45
Everybody, I want you to go out there and subscribe Mountain
• 56:47
Bullion Entertainment, tell them about like what is it?
• 56:51
Once a week or so you put out a new video.
• 56:53
  Brian, what's your your schedule?
• 56:56
Yeah, I do video a week and, you know, sometimes they're videos
• 57:01
that are just providing information about different
• 57:04
silver or gold coins or rounds. Sometimes I'm doing interviews,
• 57:10
sometimes I'm doing things that are more kind of for fun, just
• 57:12
for entertainment that are, you know, still associated with gold
• 57:14
or silver. And Yep, I would appreciate
• 57:18
support and I I just love the basement dwellers and I
• 57:21
  appreciate you showing my channel.
• 57:23
Yeah, you, you, you put out some great stuff.
• 57:25
And I want to I see there on the screen as well our friend Oren
• 57:28
the silver hermit. I know you have him on Oren's in
• 57:31
Israel and he's a good friend of yours and a good friend of the
• 57:35
basement as well. Very smart guy.
• 57:38
I watched this video last night and found it very interesting.
• 57:44
There's under there was a, a mine, a silver mine that was
• 57:48
built in the middle of Lake Superior.
• 57:51
And Brian kind of goes through the history of what happened.
• 57:54
It was in the middle of a lake. And and that's just one example
• 57:58
of some of the interesting little subjects that you cover
• 58:02
when it in regards to the silver and the gold markets.
• 58:07
  Yeah. Thank you very much.
• 58:11
Pretty interesting that that mine exists you guys.
• 58:14
They would not be able to pull off mining under that lake.
• 58:17
The current prices we have for silver right now in my.
• 58:19
  Opinion. Absolutely.
• 58:22
OK, guys, hold on Susie, hold on.
• 58:25
Oh, you know what? Hold on a minute, Susie's.
• 58:27
Are we trying to get a certain number of thumbs up?
• 58:29
Let me see if Susie has the walkie-talkie on.
• 58:33
Susie, is your walkie on? Hold on a second.
• 58:40
Yeah, yeah, No sweat. Where are we at?
• 58:42
I can't see it. OK, we're going to ring the gong
• 58:54
here, Brian, because it's a special day you've been on with
• 58:57
us. We need, we need just like 12
• 58:59
more thumbs up. Come on, guys, give it a thumbs
• 59:02
  up. What are?
• 59:02
You thumbs up, guys. And we'll ring the golden gong.
• 59:08
  I'm not a, I'm not a, I'm not a gold stacker.
• 59:11
But I have the solid gold. OK?
• 59:13
Susie says we have it. I like to joke around that the
• 59:16
golden gong and and we'll ring it three times for all your
• 59:20
  support. And seriously, what?
• 59:25
OK, I think it is OK. Oh, that's loud.
• 59:32
Now that I have earbuds and I know what people complain.
• 59:37
See how that resonates, Brian? Isn't that cool?
• 59:40
All right, cool. I I love the GOG.
• 59:42
Yeah, that was from our friend Stu out on the East Coast.
• 59:45
Sent that to me, the golden gong.
