  Speaker 1: Good morning. It is time for us to go to

  Speaker 1: God in prayer, and as always I ask that you

  Speaker 1: join along with me in prayer. Today is Wednesday, Youth

  Speaker 1: and Young Adults Day. I want to pray for our
• 0:13
  Speaker 1: young people and if I can be honest, those of
• 0:16
  Speaker 1: us that are not so young, that are dealing with
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: peer pressure. You know, somebody trying to get you to
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: do something because that's the thing they're doing, or that's
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: the thing they want you to do. Oftentimes, our children
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: get caught up in things, and adults get caught up
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: in things because we're following the crowd, so to speak,
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I just
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: come to you, God, praying for our children. God, and
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: even us as adults. God, help us not to give
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: in to peer pressure. Help us to be led by
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: You and you alone. Give us wisdom. God, and even
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: who should be in our inner sphere and circle of influence.

  Speaker 1: Strengthen our children God against peer pressure, that they may
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: always stand strong against the enticements to do wrong. You
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: said in your words and proverbs one in ten, my son,
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: if a sinner entices, you do not consent. So Father,
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: I pray right now, Well, God, for godly friends and
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: influences in our children's life. I pray for constructive friendships. Father,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: lead our children and connect them to friends and influences
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: in their life that will lead them away from bad company.

  Speaker 1: First Corinthians fifteen thirty three says, do not be misled.
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: Bad company corrupts good character. So Father, I thank you
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: for a hedge of protection around us, around our children,
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: around our family. Take the blinders off, God, and let
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: us be able to see people the way that you
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: see people. Don't let us be misled by those that
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: are bad company. If you will. You told us to
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: train our children and the way that they should go,
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: and with their all, they won't depart from it. So Father,

  Speaker 1: I pray that they will remember their ruster, They will
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: remember your words that you will Father move on their
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: hearts and trouble their hearts. God when they fall into
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: various temptations, that they'll remember their foundation in you. We
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: thank you for the hedge of protection around our children.

  Speaker 1: We plead the blood of Jesus over our children. You
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: keep them from all hurt, all harm, all danger in
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Amen,
