Michigan just got a powerful new tool to help find missing elders and vulnerable adults—thanks to Governor Whitmer signing a statewide Silver Alert system. Modeled after Amber Alerts, this new program will blast emergency alerts directly to cell phones via the Wireless Emergency Alerts system, helping law enforcement and the public respond faster when someone at risk goes missing.
