- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is the Team Up Play Show podcast. Previously in
- 0:29Speaker 2: the City of Bones, there are more indentations in the wall.
- 0:39Speaker 2: There are three. Two of them are empty. They look
- 0:43Speaker 2: to be the shape of day bodies, but large. The
- 0:48Speaker 2: third one has a day man in it. As the
- 0:51Speaker 2: blood drips in, here's what you see. The eyes of
- 0:55Speaker 2: this man lurch open. He bursts out of his hon
- 1:01Speaker 2: cave port in the wall. His body is lifted up
- 1:05Speaker 2: and starts glowing, and then he drops to the ground,
- 1:09Speaker 2: leaving a small crater in the earth. Looks up at
- 1:13Speaker 2: the three of you and says ooh, and then passes out.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Do we what about this guy? I would like to
- 1:21Speaker 2: take him.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I don't want to leave him here.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah, put him in the box.
- 1:25Speaker 3: No, I can I Fireman, Carrie, this guy.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Dirk flips her over to her back, goes like, starts
- 1:36Speaker 2: working at the nape of her neck, pulls like a
- 1:38Speaker 2: little trigger and the blood leaks out. Just don't want
- 1:41Speaker 2: her to wake up for a time. I'm going to
- 1:43Speaker 2: take her back to the nest and perhaps my brother
- 1:47Speaker 2: and I will all wake up and we'll wake her
- 1:49Speaker 2: up and we'll see what happens. I'll wait for you,
- 1:52Speaker 2: of course, and the city Council, of which I am
- 1:56Speaker 2: a member, is the main problem. I don't know if
- 1:59Speaker 2: you remember, but there is a fail safe. They put
- 2:05Speaker 2: the law into effect when the mayor was elected four
- 2:08Speaker 2: years ago that if this city votes to hold an election,
- 2:12Speaker 2: the city Council must also pass a majority vote to
- 2:16Speaker 2: affirm the city's decision. The idea being that the council
- 2:20Speaker 2: was chosen by and then must represent ardently the people
- 2:25Speaker 2: of their district to the mayor's office. This, of course,
- 2:27Speaker 2: is a farce, and I know for a fact that
- 2:30Speaker 2: there will be a majority vote to negate the affirmation
- 2:34Speaker 2: to hold a mayoral election. The voice of the people
- 2:37Speaker 2: will be squashed, and our wicked tyrant will be happy
- 2:41Speaker 2: to remain in his palace of opulence. The heroes of
- 2:52Speaker 2: this city, the three needed some time with their friends
- 2:58Speaker 2: and their family. They've been through a lot in this
- 3:00Speaker 2: week already, but there are still threads to chase. We
- 3:06Speaker 2: start with the three of you back at Jamiir's and
- 3:09Speaker 2: with the with these downtimes, like certain things could have
- 3:12Speaker 2: happened certain or certain things could not have happened, Like
- 3:15Speaker 2: who knows if we've seen the Jamiir Maria interaction or not.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I think with Jason, I think with everything you went
- 3:23Speaker 2: through with Page, we are gonna give not give you
- 3:27Speaker 2: time to hang out with Maria. I know that's something
- 3:30Speaker 2: you wanted. I said, if there was time, and there wasn't.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think importantly though, has Page's accident happened?
- 3:37Speaker 2: Page's accident has happened? We'll say that has happened. That
- 3:40Speaker 2: information is known. Pages in a coma, in the Hopsittles
- 3:46Speaker 2: in the popsicle. He's in the popsicle. We start with
- 3:52Speaker 2: the three of you coming together this week to decide
- 3:55Speaker 2: what you need to be doing, what what threads you
- 3:58Speaker 2: want to chase in real time as you sit down
- 4:01Speaker 2: together in Jamir's den, you guys here zipping in from
- 4:08Speaker 2: the kitchen space. Sticky come here. Sticky comes to you
- 4:16Speaker 2: and you pat them. They do a little circle, move
- 4:21Speaker 2: out into the center of the room. Well their camera
- 4:25Speaker 2: not camera, they're projector. Yeah, they're a small projector comes
- 4:29Speaker 2: out of their head and you see the image of
- 4:34Speaker 2: Jasmine Dukes again.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Another Sticky note. Okay, oh yeah, well, we're watching. We're watching.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Throw up a big piece of paper for you to
- 4:46Speaker 2: project around to esus kind Jasmine Duke's June nineteen eighty six.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Alex has come up with an interesting idea sticky. He
- 5:01Speaker 2: says we should start naming the subjects. I don't know why.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Perhaps he thinks it will make this our morose work
- 5:12Speaker 2: a little bit more enjoyable. There hasn't been a single
- 5:16Speaker 2: subject that has made it to the point to look
- 5:20Speaker 2: even remotely human. No head, no eyes, no ears, no arms.
- 5:24Speaker 2: We've just made little slugs of biomatter sticky, and they
- 5:28Speaker 2: can't even survive past that. I like numbers. Sticky numbers
- 5:33Speaker 2: helps me sleep at night. Anyway, I'll start with a's
- 5:36Speaker 2: I guess after my husband naming was his idea. Anyway,
- 5:41Speaker 2: perhaps when we've exhausted all the names that begin with A,
- 5:44Speaker 2: we'll have a little more success. Austin and Audrey. They
- 5:50Speaker 2: have reached myosis successfully and are slowly producing pseudopods that
- 5:54Speaker 2: will become limbs if they reach childhood. Austin will be
- 5:59Speaker 2: tall and strong. He may also have a unique connection
- 6:02Speaker 2: with Animelia due to the evo's DNA we use, but
- 6:06Speaker 2: we'll have to see. Audrey will be kind and courteous.
- 6:10Speaker 2: She will be a good singer. I think and have
- 6:13Speaker 2: depth skills in all of the arts, painting, dancing and
- 6:16Speaker 2: the like. Our little experiments. I'll keep you updated, Sticky.
- 6:24Speaker 2: She leans forward and turns off Sticky's recording. Thank you
- 6:31Speaker 2: so much, Ticky, very helpful. Grace. Oh don't don't you
- 6:37Speaker 2: don't do that. He comes up and bumps your shins
- 6:40Speaker 2: with this little his head. I choose you, paper cat.
- 6:49Speaker 2: He doesn't like h Mister Grinkles chases Sticky away, and
- 6:54Speaker 2: Sticky starts weeping through the house.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh they're so cute. All right, Well that was strange.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Another piece of history. Cloning people with EVO DNA. That's
- 7:10Speaker 1: what that sounded like, right.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I guess whatever, just to put it on the list, right.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I don't know how that connects to anything other than
- 7:17Speaker 1: doctor Moreau's research.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Probably connected somehow, though. What did the three of you
- 7:22Speaker 2: give to thread chasing? Four? Four? Three? Okay, lots of
- 7:28Speaker 2: threads to chase? Here, y'all a.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Tapestry once again, we're at the loom of story.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I'm sorry, that's good. We're at the loom of story tapestrying.
- 7:46Speaker 2: What what do you guys want to get done? I
- 7:49Speaker 2: think we can find this time to just figure out
- 7:51Speaker 2: what you all had on your lists.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think my list is all of
- 7:56Speaker 1: our lists, but.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, what you got.
- 7:59Speaker 1: The four like things I had that might be top
- 8:03Speaker 1: is like council threatening the council for your schlug. Yeah, nights,
- 8:10Speaker 1: the kidnapped day we have in the basement, following up
- 8:13Speaker 1: the magic Babies, and then my my question marks, like
- 8:17Speaker 1: maybe we do it if you know, if they're on
- 8:19Speaker 1: y'all's list, we can drop some of the other things.
- 8:21Speaker 1: But checking on Koso since that's gone, like the police
- 8:24Speaker 1: department has kind of gone internal.
- 8:26Speaker 2: There sounds like they haven't handled and.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Then Ryan a tart check in the in the in
- 8:34Speaker 1: the barge or.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Was it that's nice of you? Yeah, the cargo holds.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The bizarre.
- 8:42Speaker 2: That guy.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I go to check on that guy.
- 8:44Speaker 2: He seemed to be thriving.
- 8:47Speaker 1: So that's what I had. I'm open to all other threads.
- 8:51Speaker 4: No, I agree with your your top four. The other
- 8:53Speaker 4: ones I could take a leave.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I only have three, right, but yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 3: so I definitely want to look into this, how the
- 9:03Speaker 3: city council is doing, what's going on. We need to
- 9:06Speaker 3: be aware of where fire slug Man is and when
- 9:09Speaker 3: he's going to strike because there's there's powered people in
- 9:16Speaker 3: the in the world. And then I wanna I also
- 9:21Speaker 3: wanted to follow the thread of like what Cordula and
- 9:25Speaker 3: her crew are maybe up to in this season of
- 9:28Speaker 3: the pre election? Yeah, that was, but I also want
- 9:32Speaker 3: to link up. Yeah, of course.
- 9:34Speaker 2: So let's because it's on everybody's let's let's start with
- 9:37Speaker 2: the city council. Yea, So here's how this is gonna work.
- 9:40Speaker 2: You guys have an address for everyone? Yes, I think
- 9:44Speaker 2: you just I'm not gonna like have this roll like
- 9:48Speaker 2: can you find them in their house? Like you you're
- 9:51Speaker 2: gonna find them, you know where they are? What I want,
- 9:53Speaker 2: what I do want to roll for is being able
- 9:57Speaker 2: to sway them in this moment. Do we have strategies
- 10:03Speaker 2: you guys want to strategize at all about how you're
- 10:05Speaker 2: going to do that?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Yeah? I think we should talk about it, guys instead
- 10:08Speaker 1: of just going in willy nilly, Right, this is important.
- 10:11Speaker 1: We should plan for this.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah, this is important.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Agreed? Great? Do we take it one by one or
- 10:18Speaker 1: just say this is the plan for all of them?
- 10:20Speaker 3: I think we're looking for some kind of cocktail, right,
- 10:23Speaker 3: A cocktail of fear. Rational convincing should be a pillar. Sure, threatening, Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 3: that can go with fear, I think, and then help
- 10:38Speaker 3: me out with a third one, because I feel like
- 10:40Speaker 3: we should have three.
- 10:41Speaker 1: What's in it for them?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Some bargaining, yeah.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Some kind of spin, yeah, some kind of spin that
- 10:50Speaker 1: makes it somewhat attractive, even just like a little bit.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Sure? What was the second thing?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ben rational?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Rational argumentation, trying to appeal to their rational mind. No
- 11:02Speaker 2: powers or magic in play here.
- 11:10Speaker 1: This is a very early stag.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Okay, sorry, things wrong about a brainstorm.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That these powers will support the pillars.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Let's bring in Bones Beer, main character Bone.
- 11:30Speaker 4: I'll say that I want I think paper phantom at
- 11:33Speaker 4: this point with with a more more noori, detective Vibe
- 11:38Speaker 4: wants to dig up some dirt and blackmail. I want
- 11:40Speaker 4: to find some cue fucked up pictures of our weirdos
- 11:44Speaker 4: that have done bad things and and put them put
- 11:48Speaker 4: them on a on a list, some sort of some
- 11:50Speaker 4: sort of list of bad people that they would be exposed.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So a lot of their goings on have already been
- 11:59Speaker 2: revealed by Elaine. Sure, but but there's more.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Yes, where there's one bad bad doer doing a bad thing,
- 12:08Speaker 4: that's on a list.
- 12:09Speaker 2: There's more list. Great. So every time we get to
- 12:12Speaker 2: one of these guys and I describe them a little bit,
- 12:14Speaker 2: you can tell me what you found on that, okay,
- 12:17Speaker 2: and how good it is will be based on your role,
- 12:20Speaker 2: love Jason.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And I mean I can just amplify everything they're feeling,
- 12:25Speaker 1: whether it's fear or interests or self interest. Sure, I
- 12:31Speaker 1: can kind of nudge those things in the moment.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you mean we can generate a little fear,
- 12:38Speaker 2: and you can make the fear big.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly, scare some people for good, you know,
- 12:45Speaker 5: for good.
- 12:46Speaker 1: For the city. I could do it.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I could do this. This is the right thing, right,
- 12:50Speaker 2: We're not We're not going too far. They deserve it.
- 12:53Speaker 3: No, I look what they've I mean, these are monsters,
- 12:56Speaker 3: but I don't want to, you know, become monsters.
- 12:58Speaker 2: By trying to get right monsters. You know, goes.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You guys haven't read enough comic books. But that happens
- 13:05Speaker 3: a lot. Well, yeah, you like, try to not be
- 13:10Speaker 3: a monster and then you become one. It's a whole trope.
- 13:14Speaker 1: What if you already were one, and what if they're.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Cool monsters that you become like a godzilla. Yeah, had
- 13:21Speaker 2: honestly hadn't thought of that.
- 13:23Speaker 4: So uh and if you allow at some point before
- 13:27Speaker 4: we go on this, if I could do a little
- 13:29Speaker 4: little swirling tides, little little energy moving, I.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Will most definitely allow the listeners. What's swirling tides is?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Oh, yes, I got a lot of epsu around with.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Your level four while we're threatening these guys.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yes, this is I'm just a level three bit. This
- 13:52Speaker 2: is chat cave content. But I didn't plan that. I
- 13:55Speaker 2: just was moment the moment I had planned, I was like,
- 14:00Speaker 2: there's no other thing that could happen like this is
- 14:02Speaker 2: It's cool anyways, all right, that's a chack cave thought.
- 14:06Speaker 2: If you want more of those ideas cave.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Yeah, so hey, listeners, swirling swirling So I chose magic.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Magic is my source and it allows me to, uh,
- 14:23Speaker 4: once per day, take an hour to meditate on my
- 14:25Speaker 4: powers and shift energy around any of my unique powers.
- 14:29Speaker 4: How I see fit, I have to keep at least
- 14:31Speaker 4: one energy in each of them to keep those powers.
- 14:34Speaker 4: So I'm a I'm gonna shift a big old, a
- 14:37Speaker 4: big old pile of energy uh into a paper sense
- 14:40Speaker 4: for this, for this bad bloun And I think I
- 14:44Speaker 4: can do enough to get that up to a D twelve.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Jeez, nice, geez.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Cheez and crackers without altering, like fully altering the way
- 15:00Speaker 2: these guys feel about the mayor and their position in
- 15:04Speaker 2: this city, with only trying to naturally, mostly naturally, coax
- 15:10Speaker 2: them and terrify them. This is the opposite of what
- 15:13Speaker 2: these guys would ever do to vote yes. So this
- 15:17Speaker 2: is going to be for each one a titanic check.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So I'm rolling a D twenty and a D eight,
- 15:23Speaker 2: and you have a minimum of ten. Now I am
- 15:27Speaker 2: not going to tell you what I roll. Okay, So
- 15:32Speaker 2: when we get to the vote, it's going to be
- 15:34Speaker 2: a surprise for everybody scared. Who do you want to
- 15:45Speaker 2: start with? Or do you want to do any more planning?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Do we need to do more planning? I think we
- 15:51Speaker 2: got it. We got it. Yeah, Well we'll play it
- 15:53Speaker 2: a little bite you, We'll play it a little loose.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We'll ride the wave. I like our confidence.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Now should we start with I think? I mean I
- 16:06Speaker 1: would I would like to see Father Mitchell again personally,
- 16:10Speaker 1: check on that guy. But we're going to so it
- 16:13Speaker 1: doesn't have to be him first.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Hey, you're you're coach and let's let's do it. You're
- 16:17Speaker 2: the coach machine. You find Mitchell Nichols. He's in the
- 16:30Speaker 2: beautiful church that was built here during the Founding Age,
- 16:35Speaker 2: a glorious Catholic church built to fight the idea that
- 16:40Speaker 2: this city was even being built. And you find Mitchell Nichols,
- 16:44Speaker 2: who's been labeled the Silent Pope because he's disconnected from
- 16:47Speaker 2: the Vatican. He's in the baptismal pool. Wait, the Catholics
- 16:53Speaker 2: don't even have that. They have a baptismal fault. How
- 16:57Speaker 2: big is the fun? Okay, they have an enormous baptismal
- 17:02Speaker 2: font that you could sit in. Whoa, and you find
- 17:06Speaker 2: Mitchell Nichols chair. You find Mitchell Nichols in there. It's
- 17:12Speaker 2: bubbling like a hot tub.
- 17:13Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 17:15Speaker 2: He is being presented with a young woman in only
- 17:18Speaker 2: the hood of a habit and a young man in
- 17:22Speaker 2: only the collar of a rosary and they are getting
- 17:25Speaker 2: into the pool. He drinks wine out of a big
- 17:29Speaker 2: communion cup. Well, this guy's squeaky clean. Oh woa, so
- 17:33Speaker 2: this is one of theugh, No, this is a bad one.
- 17:36Speaker 2: He's awaiting them. He sneers join me, and he's sneering
- 17:42Speaker 2: join me, my lovelies in the baptismal waters. He calls
- 17:47Speaker 2: people love me.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Let's get this guy.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm like, we're I'm like tree frog it up
- 17:54Speaker 6: in the rafters and I strike down into the hot
- 17:57Speaker 6: tub into me and then electrocute just enough to like
- 18:01Speaker 6: knock out suck out the other two because this isn't
- 18:05Speaker 6: probably their fault.
- 18:07Speaker 3: And then behind her Jamir's gonna crash in star shining
- 18:14Speaker 3: and I again, I'm like shooting stars out around with
- 18:17Speaker 3: my limited magic powers and my fists are glowing.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I'm disgusted with the man you are.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Old Bible flips open to a relevant passage of some sort.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Get it.
- 18:34Speaker 4: The paper fantom is just gonna glide up out of it,
- 18:37Speaker 4: stepping out of it like an elevator smoking. See it
- 18:41Speaker 4: rolls that Bible passage into a cigarette.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Fuck you. These are going to be such fun scenes
- 18:52Speaker 2: as we imagine that Mitchell Nichols sits back the people
- 18:57Speaker 2: who you knocked out fall into the water.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Okay, get him out.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Yeah he helps you, like, oh shit, he helps you
- 19:06Speaker 2: get them out.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You care about them?
- 19:08Speaker 2: You think you think the three of you will get
- 19:10Speaker 2: away with us? Do you know who I am? If
- 19:13Speaker 2: you're a hero. I'm your Achilles Heel, I'm your forbidden apple,
- 19:17Speaker 2: I'm your retribution. I'll fucking find you you.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I pick him up with one, I dangle him out
- 19:27Speaker 3: of the tub, and I say, you are a man.
- 19:34Speaker 2: You are fucking with God. God's let's go ahead and roll.
- 19:43Speaker 2: So I think for this scene, jimiir is gonna do
- 19:47Speaker 2: the coach check because he did most of the talking. Yep,
- 19:50Speaker 2: so coach check, Jimmy, you can add your strength because
- 19:53Speaker 2: you're picking him up. That's very daunting or whatever else
- 19:56Speaker 2: you think. What are you guys adding?
- 19:58Speaker 4: I want to see what fuck up documents is in
- 20:01Speaker 4: this church. I've got now a range of seven l's
- 20:04Speaker 4: on this paper since whole church.
- 20:07Speaker 1: With control of electricity, like decrease his like confidence that
- 20:10Speaker 1: he had saying that he was gonna find us and
- 20:13Speaker 1: make him more afraid of.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Jamiur O twelve between my two dice very good, which
- 20:21Speaker 3: for me is very good.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I add two to that.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I had a five to that. Oh okay, what's the total?
- 20:28Speaker 2: I think, what'd you say? Nineteen?
- 20:32Speaker 1: I feel good about that? One? Do I need to add?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Always help? I feel like we're okay.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I think we're okay, yeah, so you don't know what
- 20:37Speaker 2: he rolled. The goal here is to change his vote now, yes,
- 20:42Speaker 2: talked about it. Yet what are you doing. You're gonna
- 20:44Speaker 2: let the people vote now, I would never if you
- 20:50Speaker 2: silence them. We silence you, old man.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I flick the switch in his brain where he can't
- 20:56Speaker 1: connect to his vocal cords, and then I turn it
- 21:01Speaker 1: back on.
- 21:02Speaker 2: His face is going blue? Seems to me. There's a
- 21:09Speaker 2: there's a list in lock drawer in your office there
- 21:12Speaker 2: El Nichols names. Oh, it looks like a lot of names. No,
- 21:19Speaker 2: that could get leaked real easy. No, not that list.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Not that that my list I just printed out and
- 21:30Speaker 2: we will move to the next one.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Baptism w Chacuzzi. So ridiculous.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Let's see, you're just writing down that is an idea
- 21:41Speaker 4: to add to your house?
- 21:42Speaker 2: Is that what? It is? So stupid? But what were
- 21:45Speaker 2: the dimensions of it? And how is it heated? We

- 22:06Speaker 2: George the same place you encountered him the first time,
- 22:09Speaker 2: on the fourth floor of the clank Industry's building having
- 22:13Speaker 2: the same exact kind of party, big cigars.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Dogs dance.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Fuck big party, big cigars, big frigs, dancers on the tables.
- 22:26Speaker 2: They're playing poker and the like, what are y'all doing?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Uh? First of all, all of the face cards in
- 22:33Speaker 4: the poker game are going to turn into phantom face.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Oh yes, that's awesome.
- 22:38Speaker 6: Wait, oh yeah, I make the lights flicker as we
- 22:43Speaker 6: all entered.
- 22:44Speaker 2: What I must be high. Guys.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Hey, Hi, everybody out except for George Olsen?
- 22:50Speaker 2: What I remember you? Guys? Nobody go anywhere. These guys
- 22:54Speaker 2: are harmless. We're friends. We're friends.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Levitate off the table a little bit, and uh, electricity
- 23:00Speaker 1: goes from me out to like all the wall sconces
- 23:02Speaker 1: and pops them and I say, everybody out.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Everyone freaks out, rushes out. George Olsen's there by himself.
- 23:11Speaker 2: His shirt is unbuttoned all the way down to his
- 23:13Speaker 2: belly button. He sits back in his chair. Hey, guys, No, no,
- 23:19Speaker 2: we're friends, me and you. Hey, did you guys see
- 23:21Speaker 2: that new hospital I made? Huh, Well, I didn't make
- 23:24Speaker 2: a new one, I just revamped an old one yet.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But it's good. It gives free service to the kids
- 23:30Speaker 2: and people in need. It's good, it's good. I did
- 23:32Speaker 2: it for you guys.
- 23:34Speaker 4: From like his desk, papers fly off a stapler like
- 23:40Speaker 4: clamps into my hand and I staple his shirt closed.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Okay, maybe one of them. Okay, we're having fun. Hey, listen,
- 23:50Speaker 2: we're having a good time. Not today, George, while I was,

- 24:35Speaker 2: keep it in the bank, the bank and new Babbel easy.
- 24:40Speaker 2: What are you talking about? Be an awful shame if
- 24:43Speaker 2: all that money, all that wealth you've accumulated, that you've
- 24:47Speaker 2: inherited unjustly earned.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Just I snapped my fingers. All the playing cards just
- 24:54Speaker 4: turn into dust.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Oh no, no, not my money, not my money? No no,
- 25:01Speaker 2: what did you guys want?
- 25:03Speaker 1: You're gonna let the vote go ahead?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Well that's tough. How long can I make it? It's
- 25:10Speaker 2: the people's time to speak. I promise this. If you
- 25:14Speaker 2: don't let the vote go through, any dollar bill that
- 25:17Speaker 2: ever touches your hand will turn to ash. Let's go ahead,
- 25:22Speaker 2: and wrong paper Phantom will do ghost check or coach
- 25:26Speaker 2: ghost PANTOMI wa I want to have a vote, and
- 25:35Speaker 2: I can still add my sense to that. Right, yes, okay, Quanta,
- 25:39Speaker 2: how are you helping?
- 25:40Speaker 7: I will make his love of his money feel so
- 25:45Speaker 7: much bigger and like that that this is the better option. This,
- 25:52Speaker 7: like looms larger, is a better option to maintain his wealth.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Jamiir, what are you doing? Jamiir?
- 25:57Speaker 3: Is just gonna be a standing behind item strongly.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Okay, strong time. I'll let you add your strength to
- 26:06Speaker 2: this to me get what we get eight as the
- 26:10Speaker 2: one I got an eight on my d.
- 26:13Speaker 1: A nice We feel okay about this?
- 26:19Speaker 2: That gives us a puncher's chance.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I've got always helpful, but my support pool is exhaustible. Resource. Well,
- 26:29Speaker 1: we'll hang on to it. We can hang on to it,
- 26:31Speaker 1: all right, want's hang on to it.
- 26:32Speaker 4: We could also this may be some fuckery, but I
- 26:35Speaker 4: do have flow, which means I could give you energy
- 26:37Speaker 4: at this point too. So I don't know if that
- 26:39Speaker 4: that wouldn't necessarily replenish your support pool.
- 26:41Speaker 2: But I don't know if that's useful or not.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it would it grow it though? No, No,
- 26:47Speaker 1: it just would replenishing.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Okay. Never as you guys make this threat and this ask,
- 26:53Speaker 2: he goes, Okay, hey, listen, we're friends, you and us.

- 27:10Speaker 2: and we'll move to the next week.
- 27:12Speaker 1: We stare silently at it for five minutes.
- 27:19Speaker 2: We'll see you in court. Next, we'll move to Gary Stephenson,
- 27:24Speaker 2: This cousin of the mayor, cousin of the mayor. He
- 27:33Speaker 2: is found on the oil fields in the south part
- 27:36Speaker 2: of town, the place where the wealth of the Stephensons
- 27:42Speaker 2: have has come from. You come to a work trailer
- 27:47Speaker 2: on the side of this of these oil fields, and
- 27:49Speaker 2: you find that he is in there, absolutely housing a
- 27:53Speaker 2: bunch of food. One of his aides comes in in
- 27:56Speaker 2: a hard hat. Sir, Sarah, the strikes have really begun.
- 28:01Speaker 2: The strikers have really begun to get aggressive. They're attempting
- 28:04Speaker 2: to tear down the gate and get in here. They're
- 28:06Speaker 2: gonna come for you. You hear Gary say, turn on
- 28:12Speaker 2: the hoses on them all those fuckers. Wait wait for me.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I love seeing them fall off the gate. What are
- 28:20Speaker 2: y'all doing?
- 28:21Speaker 1: Anyways? Should just wait that way for him to come
- 28:23Speaker 1: outside to come see the show? Just stand stand right
- 28:27Speaker 1: outside the trailer.
- 28:28Speaker 2: He opens the trailer door. His aid runs out first,
- 28:32Speaker 2: and then he steps out. Hi, Hi, Hello, Hey, what
- 28:38Speaker 2: do you guys do the Who the fuck are you guys?
- 28:41Speaker 1: You know who we are?
- 28:42Speaker 2: No, you've heard, I haven't. What the fuck do you want?
- 28:45Speaker 2: You're striking? We're striking something?
- 28:48Speaker 1: What I create a lightning bolt down on one of
- 28:53Speaker 1: the oil derecks and break it.
- 28:55Speaker 2: No, No, I need that. I think I need that.
- 28:58Speaker 2: I think how many of them do we have? What
- 29:01Speaker 2: do you guys doing? What do you need? What do
- 29:02Speaker 2: you want?
- 29:03Speaker 1: We want you to let the vote go through?
- 29:06Speaker 2: What vote?
- 29:07Speaker 1: The vote? To vote?
- 29:09Speaker 2: I don't think I do that you're gonna do that.
- 29:11Speaker 1: You're gonna do it.
- 29:13Speaker 2: No, I just don't know what vote you're talking about.
- 29:16Speaker 4: We may oral vote to vote the vote that enables
- 29:21Speaker 4: there to be an election to change the mayor.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Cousin.
- 29:25Speaker 1: No, No, I see Now you let you let your
- 29:26Speaker 1: cousin just tell you what to do.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, smart guy.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it is well, he told us to tell you.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Just like on the demo, he's gonna pretend that he
- 29:39Speaker 1: wants you to vote No. He's gonna he's gonna say
- 29:42Speaker 1: it a lot. But really we're here to tell you
- 29:46Speaker 1: you gotta vote yes.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Really.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Interesting and if you don't, I'll have to hurt you.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I just have orders.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yeah, we're working for the mayor. Told you guys that. Yeah, dang,
- 30:02Speaker 2: that's interesting.
- 30:03Speaker 3: And if you talk about this to anyone, we will
- 30:07Speaker 3: also have to hurt.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Okay, even him.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Okay, So yeah, he's he knows that it's going to
- 30:13Speaker 1: be confusing and that he's gonna he wants you to know.
- 30:17Speaker 1: He's gonna sound mean and aggressive, but he wants you
- 30:20Speaker 1: to vote yes, yes, or else we have to hurt. Yes.
- 30:25Speaker 4: He'll say vote no, but you vote yes and hold
- 30:29Speaker 4: a big piece of the paper.
- 30:30Speaker 6: When is this uh, pull like his cube out and
- 30:36Speaker 6: set an alert for the day of the vote.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yes, I didn't know that could do this. I just
- 30:42Speaker 2: put a calendar with a big circle date on his chest.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Okay, this will be the morning that you're supposed to
- 30:49Speaker 1: be there. But you but he said he's going to
- 30:51Speaker 1: send a car.
- 30:52Speaker 2: So okay, if you swear this is from Andy, I'll
- 30:55Speaker 2: take your word for it. Great, let's go ahead and
- 30:59Speaker 2: roll Ronnie. This you did most of talking. This will
- 31:04Speaker 2: be your coach check.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Come on, maybe I rolled one on my D to money.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Oof, that's okay, it happens. I wrote a one on
- 31:15Speaker 2: my D eight.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Oh, and I rolled a five on my D six.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Hey, so six, what's the total?
- 31:21Speaker 1: What are we at?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Six plus four plus one? Eleven?
- 31:24Speaker 1: Men?
- 31:25Speaker 2: We might want to add some juice to it.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Yeah, how much I have seven to draw from?
- 31:30Speaker 2: Eighty six? Or five? Five? Five?
- 31:34Speaker 8: Hello?
- 31:35Speaker 1: Get us up to sixteen?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, sixteen?
- 31:40Speaker 1: I am I. Look. I control electricity in his brain
- 31:44Speaker 1: to like find the connection where he feels some kind
- 31:48Speaker 1: of familial bond to the mayor and like stoke it
- 31:53Speaker 1: that like yeah, like this was a believable thing sound
- 31:56Speaker 1: that he would do make him trust us even more.
- 32:01Speaker 2: And we'll move to Benjamin Schabroth of Sabroth Farms. Of
- 32:06Speaker 2: Schabroth Farms, he is found in a mansion by the farmland,
- 32:10Speaker 2: a beautiful, huge mansion. It's also on the south side,
- 32:15Speaker 2: and next to it is this huge mansion and then
- 32:19Speaker 2: basically barracks where the workers live. You guys come to
- 32:24Speaker 2: his den and you hear him talking on the phone.
- 32:32Speaker 2: What do you mean, Koso is running out of water? Shit, Well,
- 32:37Speaker 2: it's been a drought season. That's not our fault. Do
- 32:41Speaker 2: they want corn and beef or do they want water?
- 32:44Speaker 2: Needy peasants. Put a ban on dishwashers and clothes washer machines.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Police it with our regulars. Threaten showers if they don't comply.
- 32:54Speaker 2: That always helps. Tell them it comes right from the
- 32:57Speaker 2: mayor's office. And then it's because of the food coming
- 32:59Speaker 2: out of that biodome or whatever. That'll do it. He
- 33:02Speaker 2: hangs up, that's where I live.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I like my showers.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Let's just beat this guy up.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Maybe Jamir just shrugs, what walks over and just breaks
- 33:23Speaker 3: one of his tongue.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Just like I guess we're doing you don't funk with
- 33:32Speaker 2: our showers. God shout.
- 33:40Speaker 1: God putting me on his chest.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Hey, hey, you don't.
- 33:46Speaker 1: If you don't want this to happen again, you're just
- 33:47Speaker 1: gonna vote yes. Oh yes, I can't do that.
- 33:51Speaker 2: He'll kill me.
- 33:52Speaker 1: He'll kill me, and we'll kill you if you don't.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Really, I put a cigarette out of his arm. Okay,
- 34:02Speaker 2: can do it. Let's roll. Here's what I gonna have you do.
- 34:09Speaker 2: All of you roll the cox check on this one,
- 34:13Speaker 2: and I broke. Yeah. Coaxes in many different forms, and
- 34:19Speaker 2: whoever gets the highest can so like it's like a
- 34:22Speaker 2: scramble in golf golfers out there.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I got that rough, friends did not connect with on
- 34:30Speaker 1: my coats.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Nice, I got two. I got three, So we'll take
- 34:34Speaker 2: the nine and then add yours, add your powers you.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Fifteen is my total.
- 34:41Speaker 2: I got twelve it I got a two to add
- 34:45Speaker 2: to that.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Nice, So twenty nine, that's our best one.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Maybe we should beat up, just beat up to start
- 34:54Speaker 2: with that. Start by. Just heard.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That worked really well.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I don't feel awesome about what I.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Did in there, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep
- 35:08Speaker 3: doing it.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But just there's a note I don't feel good. Okay,
- 35:15Speaker 2: and we.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Know the monster thing, but what if you already were one?
- 35:19Speaker 2: No, I don't want to be a monster again. There's
- 35:22Speaker 2: cool monsters.
- 35:24Speaker 1: What if this is better than the monster you were before?
- 35:26Speaker 2: Though? What about?
- 35:28Speaker 4: What about Mike? Think about Mike Wizowski. That's a good monster.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I haven't seen that VHS.

- 35:40Speaker 2: owner of New Babel News and he lives at the
- 35:43Speaker 2: New Babel News Tower. There's a pool on top of it.
- 36:03Speaker 2: It's connected to his penthouse. He steps out of a
- 36:06Speaker 2: sliding glass door in a plush robe that he takes off.
- 36:11Speaker 2: He's fully naked. He uses a remote control to turn
- 36:15Speaker 2: on music, takes me back, and he starts dancing where
- 36:20Speaker 2: no one can see him. He's on top of the world.
- 36:23Speaker 2: He starts saying, Stephen's Star here. Are you ready for
- 36:27Speaker 2: the truth? New babbyl Are you ready to see past heroes,
- 36:32Speaker 2: masks and capes? Are you ready to wade through mountains
- 36:36Speaker 2: of fruit and be taught of what's really going on
- 36:38Speaker 2: in a set? Then buckle up, dear water, because that's
- 36:42Speaker 2: time for true Bable with Steven's Star and he dives
- 36:46Speaker 2: into and starts doing labs.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Should we just let him get worn out?
- 36:52Speaker 2: Let's watch for a bit. Yeah? Is it just me?
- 36:55Speaker 2: Or is this guy's dick like very small?

- 37:49Speaker 2: himself out, shakes his head, his hair flicking. Oh that
- 37:55Speaker 2: was spectacular.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I make him feel exhausted like that was actually so
- 38:03Speaker 1: draining and not invigorating at all.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Oh, no, better, up on the crack cocaine.

- 41:36Speaker 2: What we could do, right, You guys sit exhausted, and
- 41:39Speaker 2: we'll say this was all in one night. East Well
- 41:43Speaker 2: some cracka definitely not.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Dude just passed me a paper boy cigarette.
- 41:49Speaker 2: There you go, and you all wanted to check out
- 41:53Speaker 2: the venom nights in the basement.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Paper Boy cigarettes? Can we sell these?
- 42:00Speaker 2: I guess so we can just print our own money.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Would you have a job?
- 42:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh it's doing good.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Oh good to hear. Yeah that's nice.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm able to pay half my rent again.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Dirk meets you down here in the nest. He shows
- 42:13Speaker 2: you where he's laid his brother and sister. He brings
- 42:17Speaker 2: the two perma cells, the purple EpiPen style no green goblin,
- 42:26Speaker 2: the green goblin EpiPens, the green goblin EpiPen with purple
- 42:29Speaker 2: fluid in it. He brings those and he just says, well,
- 42:35Speaker 2: what's the plan?
- 42:38Speaker 1: One at a time, I think, but I can't. We
- 42:42Speaker 1: can't keep them here like the church kept you.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I the morality in me believes that that is the
- 42:51Speaker 2: truth that we cannot for it was horrid. But there
- 42:55Speaker 2: is a difference between what we're doing and what they
- 42:59Speaker 2: did to me. They used me as an assassin. We
- 43:04Speaker 2: won't be doing that even if we keep them silenced. Well,
- 43:10Speaker 2: one of them is more of a blank slate than
- 43:13Speaker 2: the other. Maybe we start there. Yeah, Rock feasts. Yeah, Okay,
- 43:21Speaker 2: this is I think this is a good idea. Do
- 43:24Speaker 2: we want to do it here in the nest?
- 43:26Speaker 1: Maybe out in the tubes like we did with you?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Just in case, Just in case tube.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Time time he has walked down the tube little ways.
- 43:36Speaker 2: You find a place that feels like it would be
- 43:38Speaker 2: a little confusing to wake up too, that won't lead
- 43:42Speaker 2: them back to the nest, and you set them down.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Derk holds the first permaicell flips it once in his hand.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Very cool, just nervous. Who wants to do the honors?
- 43:56Speaker 2: You all woke him up before. Perhaps he'd remember you
- 43:58Speaker 2: it went great before. So oh sure, I think Quanta,
- 44:04Speaker 2: if you wanna wa maybe we can be on a
- 44:09Speaker 2: on defense.
- 44:10Speaker 1: All right, Okay, puld up my hand for the hubby
- 44:14Speaker 1: pin everybody ready?
- 44:17Speaker 4: Yes, I form a like a car, a paper chain,
- 44:21Speaker 4: like the kind thing you make out of construction paper
- 44:23Speaker 4: in kindergarten.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I put all my energy into paper sens. This's all
- 44:28Speaker 2: I got. Jamir is just going to I'm going to
- 44:31Speaker 2: do a classic like close my eyes and then open
- 44:34Speaker 2: them and they're sparkling stars fizzing from my hands.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Okay, three, two one.
- 44:45Speaker 2: You put the permicel into the slot in the back
- 44:49Speaker 2: of rock fists neck. His eyes go open. He looks around. Ooh,
- 44:58Speaker 2: who am I wait? Tell their wait, So this is
- 45:06Speaker 2: a cave. And before I when I woke up, I
- 45:11Speaker 2: was in a cave. You tell me there's two caves.
- 45:14Speaker 2: At least at least there could be more caves.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there could be more caves.
- 45:21Speaker 2: But what's wait wait wait, wait wait, I can be
- 45:25Speaker 2: in two caves.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Not at the same time, as far as I know.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm not there now, I'm here now, Yes,
- 45:34Speaker 2: different cave.
- 45:34Speaker 1: We moved you from that cave.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Whoa and like wait wait no, wait, wait wait wait
- 45:40Speaker 2: you guys were in that cave and you're here. Yeah,
- 45:44Speaker 2: so you can be in two caves. Yep, maybe, Dirk says,
- 45:50Speaker 2: Nil's brother, brother, brother. But me and you, we're brothers.
- 45:59Speaker 2: He looks at paper Phantom. Me and you, we're brother yes, absolutely, no,
- 46:05Speaker 2: me and you not. I'm not related to you, sir. Okay, fine,
- 46:10Speaker 2: me and you we're brothers.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Sure, I'll be I'll be your sister, sisters brother brother.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Wow, we're all in the same cave. We're all in
- 46:21Speaker 2: the same cave, and we can all be in the
- 46:23Speaker 2: same cave exactly. This guy gets it. I like you,
- 46:28Speaker 2: you like me, I like you.
- 46:32Speaker 4: We like you. There's one way to tell if he's
- 46:36Speaker 4: evil or not. Hang on, we like brothers. I summon
- 46:40Speaker 4: the paper cat. How does the cat feel about this guy?
- 46:44Speaker 4: The cat comes is pretty neutral to rock fist. Rock
- 46:49Speaker 4: Fist is very neutral the cat, he squats down, puzzles.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Okay, not your brother? Could be? No, could be? Wait,
- 47:02Speaker 2: could be? It's like in between yes and no. I
- 47:07Speaker 2: know that. I don't like that. I don't like in
- 47:10Speaker 2: between yes and no? His brother or not brother? His brother? Why?
- 47:16Speaker 2: Why is not?
- 47:18Speaker 3: Why are we confusing this already confused man?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Hello? He looks at the cat. Hello. Wow wow now
- 47:28Speaker 2: now now okay. He stands up. There is extra venoum
- 47:34Speaker 2: stored in the spaces created by the makeup of the
- 47:38Speaker 2: day people. As he stands that venom flows from the
- 47:43Speaker 2: hidden spaces down into his fists and become enormous venium
- 47:50Speaker 2: spheres that he moves with ease. He looks down. Whoa
- 47:57Speaker 2: just would you look at that?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Huh.
- 48:01Speaker 2: I'll tell you this right now. That is my body is.
- 48:04Speaker 2: That's how my body is. Yes, nice, Yes, that's just
- 48:08Speaker 2: how it works.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Not it is anyone else though.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Really.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:16Speaker 2: We can be in this cave, but no one can
- 48:20Speaker 2: do this. No, your your hands are you are? Special?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Special hands? Special? Yep, nailed that one. Special hands? Yes,
- 48:33Speaker 2: what are your hands? My hands are?
- 48:36Speaker 1: Hold mine out, but mine can do this and I
- 48:38Speaker 1: make little electricity dance in them.
- 48:41Speaker 9: Oh, snowflake, paper, snowflake, I charge up my magic hands
- 48:48Speaker 9: like we all have differently special hands, I guess, huh, but.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Not everybody has special hands.
- 48:56Speaker 2: But everyone can have special hands. No, No, that's where
- 49:01Speaker 2: you're wrong.
- 49:02Speaker 4: You have a special cave inside of you, and the
- 49:05Speaker 4: cave makes your hands special.
- 49:07Speaker 2: There's a cave inside, Yes, seventeen caves. That's so many
- 49:14Speaker 2: caves inside. Can we go there?
- 49:17Speaker 5: No?
- 49:18Speaker 2: Too small? Dirk looks at him, brother, we found you,
- 49:25Speaker 2: you and I this is going to be a lot
- 49:28Speaker 2: for you. And he goes off, and they talk about
- 49:33Speaker 2: the purpose of the venom Nights and what they were
- 49:36Speaker 2: meant to do a prototype of the day people to
- 49:39Speaker 2: serve the people of New Babbel in a moment of
- 49:42Speaker 2: transition and crisis, and Rockfast nods solemnly along as as
- 49:46Speaker 2: it goes, furrowing his brow asks interesting questions that you
- 49:51Speaker 2: wouldn't think. You wouldn't think that would be the main questions,
- 49:56Speaker 2: like Dirk talks about they were going to go to
- 49:58Speaker 2: space space here, no space like outer space, out of
- 50:05Speaker 2: cave like stuff like that. As rock Fist begins to
- 50:10Speaker 2: understand the world, Wow, good for him, must be nice.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Where did his soul come from?
- 50:18Speaker 2: And what do we do now?
- 50:22Speaker 1: Great, that's a that's a really, really, really good question.
- 50:27Speaker 1: We would love your help.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Help, Yes, your special fists help. My special fist could help,
- 50:34Speaker 2: can your special fist?
- 50:35Speaker 1: Yet?
- 50:36Speaker 2: Yes they are.
- 50:38Speaker 1: There are some bad people outside of the cave.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Oh I don't I don't think so. I don't think so.
- 50:49Speaker 2: We've seen them, there are I've only met good people.
- 50:54Speaker 2: And he points at the cat that.
- 50:58Speaker 1: We are very lucky. Not everyone has only met good people.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Lucky happy by accident. I like lucky happy by accident.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Should we call you lucky Okay.
- 51:18Speaker 2: I am lucky. I'm happy by accident. You also had
- 51:24Speaker 2: another name. Oh I look at Dirk. Yes, brother, I
- 51:30Speaker 2: was named the bright Blade, and you were to be
- 51:34Speaker 2: named based on all that background. I told you before,
- 51:39Speaker 2: you were to be the rock fist rock Yeah, like
- 51:44Speaker 2: a cave chunk cave chunk, chunk of cave, chun chunk
- 51:49Speaker 2: of cave. Yeah. Yeah. I love you guys, I love
- 51:53Speaker 2: you too.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Have Wow. You think it's gonna go as.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Good as swift Shot better? Yeah, nope, I'm feeling very optimistic.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Although swift Shot sister your sister, your sister, not my sister,
- 52:13Speaker 2: my sister, you know Dirk's sister.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Nyam Knight.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Does this mean he looks at Dirk, we are mom
- 52:21Speaker 2: and dad. Sorry, I get it. No, that's wrong, I
- 52:27Speaker 2: get it. Me and you are sisters. He looks at
- 52:30Speaker 2: Dirk and Dirk does not. Well.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Great, So good to have your your fists. When when
- 52:36Speaker 4: all of our special fists touched together, they're even better,
- 52:40Speaker 4: more special. For when we fight.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Bad people, Yes, bad people outside of the cave. Yeah,
- 52:49Speaker 2: I think not everyone. No, we'll point it, we'll point
- 52:53Speaker 2: I think that is helpful.
- 52:54Speaker 1: For now, we'll work on getting stronger together here in
- 52:58Speaker 1: the cave, and and we have a place to live
- 53:03Speaker 1: and we'll train.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Are you saying I can be stronger than I am? Now?
- 53:09Speaker 1: Yes, I think.
- 53:12Speaker 2: That is something. We have sandwiches here. Okay, I don't
- 53:16Speaker 2: know what a sandwich is, but I'm excited. You love it.
- 53:19Speaker 2: You will love it.
- 53:21Speaker 1: You will.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Dirk holds up swift shots Permicel. What do we think
- 53:27Speaker 2: this went well? I believe Yeah. If it goes wrong,
- 53:33Speaker 2: we we gotta take her back down and rip that
- 53:36Speaker 2: thing out.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Unfortunately, can we do they come back out?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Dirk says, I don't. I don't know. I don't know
- 53:44Speaker 2: if that will fully deactivate. Yeah, look, we we stopped
- 53:49Speaker 2: swift shot before. Yeah. Now we've got two very big,
- 53:54Speaker 2: strong brothers to help.
- 53:56Speaker 1: You're right, just in case, and should we get Jackie too,
- 54:01Speaker 1: just you.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Know, if we can, if we can wait an hour,
- 54:04Speaker 2: I could be more useful.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Yeah, let's let's let's make sandwich.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Make sandwich. We'll say you could have you could have
- 54:11Speaker 2: done yeah, yeah, you could have done this at a
- 54:13Speaker 2: different time. So if you want to switch that up,
- 54:16Speaker 2: I do.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Yeah, let's bring every wing down here too.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Jackie comes down.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Big boys blocking one side of the tube and big
- 54:24Speaker 1: every wing on the other person.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Good Fred, I point to Jackie. New person, good Fred, Ah,
- 54:32Speaker 2: new person outside of cave. But good, very good, good
- 54:38Speaker 2: this one. I am lucky, I am happy by accident,
- 54:45Speaker 2: and I am rock fisted. Jackie says, what's up? What
- 54:51Speaker 2: is up? Wait? What is up?
- 54:53Speaker 1: Oh?
- 54:53Speaker 2: My god? Are you guys seeing the sparks fly between these?
- 54:59Speaker 1: Are gonna?
- 54:59Speaker 5: Kid?
- 55:01Speaker 2: Brother? Dirk? What is up? And Dirk points upwards?
- 55:07Speaker 1: Is this what you were like?
- 55:09Speaker 2: I never remember being like this.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I don't think any of us remember our infancy.
- 55:14Speaker 2: He's so pure it's almost sad that he's he brought
- 55:18Speaker 2: it to this ship. Jackie says, so what's going on?
- 55:22Speaker 2: If we wake this person up there, they might be bad.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, she might run. She can go invisible, but I
- 55:27Speaker 1: could still see her. Okay, I think, And Jason, you
- 55:31Speaker 1: can cover with paper.
- 55:32Speaker 2: I can always cover anything with paper. Yeah, Dirk kniiels
- 55:36Speaker 2: I'll do this one.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 2: He puts the permicel in, gives it the twist that
- 55:42Speaker 2: locks it. Swift Shot wakes Oh no, oh no, no, no?
- 56:08Speaker 2: What have I done?
- 56:11Speaker 4: Where?
- 56:12Speaker 2: Where are we somewhere safe? O cave? I'm remembering. She
- 56:22Speaker 2: looks at Dirk brother brother, I'm sorry. They came to
- 56:30Speaker 2: the womb, they woke me, they used me.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Is this an honest reaction? Yeah?
- 56:39Speaker 2: Good quiest role as sans check. You can use your
- 56:44Speaker 2: synaptic scan seven. I rolled in nine. In this moment,
- 56:49Speaker 2: she seems sincere. They woke me up from the womb,
- 56:53Speaker 2: they controlled me, started using me. She starts crying. Dirk
- 56:58Speaker 2: Neil's sister, Uh, I'm sorry you did you did a
- 57:04Speaker 2: lot of wicked things. I know, I know, I'm sorry.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Hey, hey, I kneel down to hey. I've done some
- 57:12Speaker 1: shit too. Where are they those that used me? Sister,
- 57:18Speaker 1: I saw to those that used me when I was freed.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Revenge is not the medicine you need.
- 57:28Speaker 2: What what do I need? Then? Brother Breakfast says happy
- 57:37Speaker 2: by accident and gives two thumbs up. He looks at
- 57:40Speaker 2: his thumbs huh, smiles. I like that.
- 57:46Speaker 1: That's what's up.
- 57:48Speaker 2: That is what's up. You saved me. I'm sorry, I'm
- 57:55Speaker 2: sorry for everything. She's crying. Well, it seems like it
- 58:02Speaker 2: all worked out. You're good now. You can hang out
- 58:06Speaker 2: with us hand or a tissue. And you were you
- 58:11Speaker 2: were used against your will for some bad stuff, but
- 58:15Speaker 2: now you can exert your will to balance that scale. Yes, okay,
- 58:23Speaker 2: fight you mean eventually if you wan't we need, we
- 58:28Speaker 2: would appreciate the help. You're quite the warrior. Yeah, no
- 58:32Speaker 2: controlling here, just open invitation. She looks to her brothers
- 58:38Speaker 2: and smiles. They programmed in me what we're meant to be,
- 58:44Speaker 2: you can be, so at last, she puts her hands
- 58:48Speaker 2: on their shoulders. Dirk smiles rock fast, touches her hand
- 58:53Speaker 2: and nods and smiles, looking out into the cave distance.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Nice and as he does, he says, this cave is
- 59:02Speaker 2: long and it is narrow.
- 59:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Nice fist boom. He gives you a huge fish smashes
- 59:12Speaker 2: you back into the cave wall. Where are you guys going? Okay,
- 59:16Speaker 2: that went well as well as it could go.
- 59:19Speaker 4: I think, yeah, that's a son. The thing checked off
- 59:23Speaker 4: the list. I thought for a second they were going
- 59:25Speaker 4: to turn into a big mechasord.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Oh that'd be very cool. I have so many questions
- 59:30Speaker 1: about day in my own programming. If she's you know,
- 59:34Speaker 1: she said that she knew what she was supposed to be.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Now, remember when we put the permisel into Dirk. It
- 59:40Speaker 4: kind of like woke him up and gave him his
- 59:42Speaker 4: memories back and stuff. So maybe it's just like the juice,
- 59:45Speaker 4: the good good juice.
- 59:46Speaker 1: It's just a good juice. And yeah, they are they
- 59:48Speaker 1: are different because of the good juice. I don't have
- 59:50Speaker 1: the good juice.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I'm sure it tastes awesome. It's you know, it seems
- 59:55Speaker 2: like maybe they started like robots, but you know, became themselves.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: And yeah, maybe that first generation was you know, more
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: guided by their prime directive and it was more almost
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: animal like, but then became you know, people, and maybe
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: we were you know, monkeys or animals, and then we
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: became guys. You know, who knows.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Some guys became dead, remember that.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that also happened, some freaking wild Some guys become slugs. Yes,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: some guys did become slug. As you get back to
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the nest, you hear clanking down the stairs and Sticky
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: comes into the nest area with you. Guys, you the
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: biggest buy Now look at him. Sticky stands straight up
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: as high as it's treads. Lets it go so you
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: can see the treads under the box, and Sticky pops
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: out their camera again. Oh okay, sorry, Sticky, new lord
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: has dropped. Sticky pops out their projectory again.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: All right, let's okay, okay, okay, okay, we're going, We're going.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: We like get herded to the couch.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: You see Jasmine Dukes again there good news and bad news, Sticky.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: She looks tired. Adam is doing so well, so so well.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I think he's actually gonna make it. Sorry, Oh yeah,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Jasmine Dukes, February nineteen eighty seven, Progress Report. While she's
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: saying that, she turns and looks at now a fetus
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: floating in one of the tanks that you saw in
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: doctor Moreau's labs. Doctor Moreau's lab, it's floating in blue biofluid.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Our.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Funding was cut. Sticky. You hear the sticky in the projection.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Go yeah, So we had to make at him up
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: mostly of argiment, genetic material, and some things that we
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: had left over from the EVO program. He's moving, he's
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: starting to see he's smarter than most fetus at the stage.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: His eyes follow me as I walk around him. I'm
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: starting to get pretty attached Sticky. But here's the real
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: bad news. It's good and bad. I guess we've been
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: chosen bi aphrodite to be part of the Venus Pilgrim program.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: It makes sense. We're at the top of our field.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: They'll need us, so we're going to Venus. No, no,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: we can't take you, Sticky. You'll have to stay here. Sorry, Pal.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: And it's worse than that. They're not even letting us
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: take at him. I don't know what to do, Alex says,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: to flesh out the fluid and let it dry out.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I don't know if I can do that. He's already
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: so human up. I don't know what to do, Sticky.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I'll miss you too, Sticky. Of course, that's it for
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: this one. She leans forward, turns.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: It off, put a hand on Sticky's robot head.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Jackie, you hear U? Guys, Yeah, that lady's gone. You
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: turn around and you see no swift shot anywhere? What der?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: And that's where we'll end this episode of the Team
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Up Place Show podcast.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: What would have happened if I succeeded that? Since Chuck
