- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Well, we've got ourselves a day where we're gonna be feeling more like early fall.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's 73 today.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: The past couple days have been like this.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Yesterday we took a walk, probably about 730-ish.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, probably 7.30.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: And Zach was wearing a flannel.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I was wearing just like a f a hoodie or like um uh like any kind of sweatshirt.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: It was kind of like a thinner sweatshirt.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: But we had to.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Do you remember yesterday I said I could lit legitimately be wearing a hoodie right now?
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And then we came home and started watching the Idaho Murders Netflix documentary.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so good.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: It's really they really kill the potatoes in that.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Is that those four college students that got murdered?
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, is that what it's about?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: I w Okay, so we started it and the first one finished a little after it was probably like 9.12, 9.15, somewhere around there.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: By the way, did that dude plead guilty to that?
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but there was something.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Hold on, I gotta look it up because there's some there's been a new break in that recently.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: But that then I said, What do you want to do?
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: He goes, I want to watch another one.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I want to watch another one too.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: So then I'm watching it.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Get to bed after 10 o'clock because of this.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Hold on a second.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Let me get you.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Is each one of the episodes about the death of the different because it was four that died?
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I remember this story vividly.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Four that died, but no, um, it is not highlighting them individually because there's only three episodes.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Hold on a second.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember this dude.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: I swear he pled guilty, and we were all like, fine, save the court uh taxpayers' money.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: This is what it was.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: We just talked about this last week.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: The convicted killer filed court documents in July of 2026 to withdraw his guilty plea to push for a trial.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Good luck.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's asking to overturn his conviction.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: He claims his former lawyers gave him bad advice and pressured him to plead guilty by telling him the death penalty was certain.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: There's no way you're getting this overturned.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: You've already pled guilty.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Do you think all of a sudden people are gonna go, ha! Yeah, no, you're not now.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: I I'm with you.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: 1,000% with you.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Uh something that I I'm not with everyone on is GoFundMe's.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Because some some of you are very generous on the GoFundMe plane of of life, and I am not.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I never, never um give money towards any of them, but I saw one that I might actually give money towards.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: A college student who needs a new computer.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Would you donate?
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I put 20 bucks in.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: You know, that's I feel like that's fair.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Because you know, here's the thing.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: It's very specific.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: It's not specific of like, oh, I need a new roof on my house.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, do like everybody else does.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Go finance it.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Uh or if you have enough money to pay for it up front, do that.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I'm with you.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna pay for your roof.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: But I thought, you know what?
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: This is a good thing.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe if it was an elderly person that had nothing and they had buckets in their kitchen collecting water, you might be able to coerce me into$10.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Especially if it was like the neighborhood grandma who always baked everyone cookies and bread.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: But a lot of us loved her.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: A lot of GoFundMe's are just people's way of going.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: I don't want to.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: I got a great example of a terrible GoFundMe, I'll tell you in a minute.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Um, but this one, I'd throw 20 bucks in.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: You're specifically telling me that you're getting it.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: And if they were smart, they put the model number and everything that they want.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Like I'm trying to get this Apple, you know, whatever 2026 IP719.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And also I look at it like this is for their future, and I want to invest in, especially if it's a child that I felt like had a really focused future.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Because if your kid is a failure to launch kid, yeah, I'm probably not going to.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: But if I see, oh, they're gonna go to be um a radio star.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: No, I'm just kidding.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: We are not giving money to that.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Right, no.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: But even like if they're gonna be a vet.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: However, if you'd like to give to our GoFundMe.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but if they're gonna be a vet or they're gonna be an accountant, I don't know, whatever.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: They're gonna be an engineer, then you know what?
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give you a little something, something.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that, you know, because yeah, I I could do that.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: What's the GoFundMe that is the uh-uh, never no way?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: Here's this is where it gets this is where proving how GoFundMe's can get icky, okay?
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Uh so have you heard of Christian Styles, 29-year-old adult film star, and has a uh had a um Sorry, no, I haven't.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: No, he had a uh uh OnlyFans account and okay.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: You weren't into that anyway.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: He passed away uh at at the young age of 29, okay?
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: So now uh he was an OnlyFans content creator.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Let's see here.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: I'm just reading, skimming through this.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: In lieu of flowers, this is the family that said it.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, this is a very common thing when someone passes.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the GoFundMe page established in loving memory of Zachary.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Uh, that was his real name.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: His family wrote in the OBIT, uh, which noted that he is survived by his parents and his siblings.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Now, here's the thing.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: So, yes, it's He obviously wasn't making good money on that OnlyFans.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: No, but I I that's probably, but the problem with it is the parents are struggling with uh one, I think he has cancer, there's another illness.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I think the parents are trying to pocket the money so they can pay for their own medical costs.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Because this guy, yeah, he had to have made a buck on uh on OnlyFans.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's a picture.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Not a bad looking guy.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: So um I mean, and look, uh, honey boo-boo's fat pig of a sister makes 15 grand a month on OnlyFans.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: So you think this guy wasn't making some money?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: No, his parents are using a GoFundMe to try to to try to just pay for their own uh their own problems that they have.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: If this was a normal situation, like say I knew somebody in Watkins Glen who passed at the age of 29.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: It's an unexpected passing.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't expect you to have a few real money?
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: A coffin, a plot.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't expect you to have that all set up.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Well, but I kind of would have thought first.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: My first thought would have been, what, no life insurance?
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Oh That's my first thought.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: At a young age, maybe not.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, the other day we just talked about the fact that uh D.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: You should have it.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: You should do you have I have to get life insurance on the kids.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: I realized after that conversation, I'm like, crap, I don't have any on them.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Wait, do you have life insurance?
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: No.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: I if I die, I'm gonna need a GoFundMe.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: You're proving it exactly, Peter.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Actually, I do.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I just didn't want you to know there's a$10 million bounty on my head.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: I do have life insurance.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Uh Zach is so lucky.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: He would be set if I died tomorrow.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Screw him!
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I've been around for 20 years, I want a cut.
