- 0:43Great to be with you for today's show.
- 0:47Let's get right down to it, shall we.
- 0:50Today's topic was actually recommended to be by my good
- 0:55friend. Morpheus, I think.
- 0:59Is I how you As name on Twitter. So shout out to him, go follow
- 1:04him. If you haven't checked it out
- 1:07already fell based crippled man, I really I've gotten to know him
- 1:13over the past two months, really good guy.
- 1:19But anyway, he brought this story to my attention, which is
- 1:23what we will be talking about today and that is the limited,
- 1:28run games, Dubai. Vehicle.
- 1:31Or as I have called the title of this episode limited-run cancel
- 1:38culture because this is a debacle, they're already getting
- 1:47pushed back from this. So let's just dive into the
- 1:51story, right? Okay.
- 1:54Moorthy has brought this up to me as I mentioned.
- 1:57But upon further investigation, I found this piece.
- 2:00He's from the post-millennial which did a pretty good
- 2:04breakdown of the situation. So let's see what they have to
- 2:10say for themselves. Shall we?
- 2:14So headline from the post-millennial, trans activist
- 2:21gets woman fired from video game company for Crime of falling
- 2:26heel for for Crime of falling. Ian miles.
- 2:30Shawn, I almost said Elon Musk their lives of tick-tock on
- 2:35Twitter. Although I'm sure following Elon
- 2:38Musk would also be a crime for many of these woke stirrers. so,
- 2:46let's let's dive in and Get into this again.
- 2:51This is from the post-millennial.com.
- 2:54I'll link this description. I'll link this story in the
- 3:00description in both the podcast and in the video show notes.
- 3:06If you're watching this on YouTube, A video game company
- 3:14called at limited run games. Fired fide Carolyn 0326 because
- 3:22of some nut job because some that job got funded over the
- 3:25fact that she follows me and lives of tiktaalik that is from
- 3:30Ian miles, Chong Li on Friday, the video game Company Limited
- 3:41Run games fired their Community manager.
- 3:45A woman named Carolyn after a far left trans activist using
- 3:51the name purple. Tinker demanded the company.
- 3:54I the file end because she followed conservative users on
- 3:58Twitter such as Ian miles, Chong and webs of tick-tock or was
- 4:02their support Ian miles Chong, tweeted a video game company
- 4:08called limited run games fired Carlin. 0326 because some Nut
- 4:15Job got offended over the fact that she follows me on webs of
- 4:19tick-tock. According to an observer article
- 4:29from 2012. Purple Tinker is a biological
- 4:34male, who identifies, as a trend transgender and an activist who
- 4:40founded BronyCon a convention for adult men, who like to dress
- 4:44up as characters from the children's television, show My
- 4:48Little Pony, Sean posted screenshots of purple.
- 4:53Tinker's now, deleted Twitter Count the community manager for
- 4:59a limited run games at Carla. No 326 is a transphobic who
- 5:05follows a veritable who's who of right-wing transphobic creeps
- 5:11unless and until she is fired from the company permanently,
- 5:15I'm not giving them another single dime.
- 5:21CW. Transphobia purple Tinker
- 5:24tweeted at the company on January 6 at 9:06 a.m.
- 5:31At 5:40 p.m. on the same day, on the Twitter account.
- 5:36Limited, run games announced when had been fired and wrote
- 5:42Lig respects all personal opinions.
- 5:45However, we bring Nate, we remain committed to supporting
- 5:50an inclusive. Culture, upon investigating a
- 5:53situation. An employee was terminated, our
- 5:57goal as a company is to convey. Continue to foster a positive
- 6:04and safe environment for everyone.
- 6:07So that's what they posted on their Twitter, popular streamer
- 6:13and nerd culture concentrator Melonie Mac commented with.
- 6:18This is so messed up Carlin is amazing and deserves better.
- 6:22Shame on you limited run games. Mac.
- 6:28Added in a lighter, tweet. You do not respect all personal
- 6:33opinions else. This decision would not have
- 6:36happened and if you were committed to an inclusive
- 6:39culture, you won't have fired a Christian woman for her boys.
- 6:47In a screen. Grab One of the ones, post that
- 6:56purple Tinker brought tormented Run games.
- 6:59Attention was one where she expressed concern over
- 7:01biological males identifying as transgender gender using
- 7:06women's. Restrooms, which is a valid
- 7:12concern and one, I've brought up there is times on the show over
- 7:17the years folks. Mac tweeted.
- 7:22This is the face of a person who got fired. of a woman who got
- 7:27fired from women and Run games because of her concern for the
- 7:31safety of females against Incognito predators in female
- 7:36restrooms let that sink in Other post that purple Tinker use
- 7:43against when involved her looking forward to a Harry
- 7:46Potter game. Another trans activist named
- 7:53Josie. Brechner, demanded a one.
- 7:57Be fired as well as retreated purple.
- 8:04Tinker. What our users Stephanie row,
- 8:13there's a whole Tumblr, history thread on this person's vile
- 8:17behavior, and reference to a tumblr post dedicated to
- 8:22exposing a history of purple, tinkerers online, history of
- 8:26wishing violence, on people, doxing and Bolin.
- 8:36Wow, the cancel crusading brownie thinks that young teens
- 8:40can consent to within a sex with an adult.
- 8:45So, but by scrolling scrolling scrolling So Mora and there are
- 8:54screenshots of I guess this. Purple.
- 9:02This purple Tinker like advocating basically for PETA
- 9:05field philia, folks, that's what it is. all right, so To
- 9:13summarize here. And I did read this article
- 9:15beforehand, folks. it would seem as though, let me just make sure
- 9:24I'm getting this rep, right? In summary this company limited
- 9:32run games. Basically fired a community
- 9:38manager, a top employ in their company.
- 9:44Over the demands of. One single influential activist
- 9:55that is purple tinker. and, Over the fact that she merely fire
- 10:08follows, Ian miles, Chong, webs of tick-tock.
- 10:15And other quote unquote right-wingers on Twitter,
- 10:21nothing about Carlin's tweets or you know what she tweeted
- 10:25herself? Just the fact that she follows
- 10:29said accounts means that she's Automatically.
- 10:37Fired in. And also, I guess the fact that
- 10:40when tweeted that she was excited about like a Harry
- 10:43Potter game, I don't really understand why why you get fired
- 10:51for tweeting your support over a Harry Potter game, but okay, I
- 10:57guess. Oh, you know what?
- 11:03That's right. It's because it's because JK
- 11:08Rowling the trans gender people don't like her very much because
- 11:17JK Rowling is in favor of, you know, traditional women, you
- 11:23know, being in traditional woman roles in her stories, right?
- 11:33The transgender people try to say that like Harry Potter was a
- 11:37transgender allegory and I guess JK Rowling shut that down a few
- 11:42years ago and ever since they've been saying, Harry Potter, fans
- 11:46are problematic. I'm assuming that's what the
- 11:50Harry Potter, rage is about. but anyway, what's more disturbing
- 11:58to me, folks, is the fact that You have a community manager.
- 12:09That got fired. do do to the tweets of one single activist,
- 12:20it seems like On Twitter. One single activist.
- 12:33This purple, whatever the fuck their name is.
- 12:40Said that they would no longer support a limited run game games
- 12:43in the future if they didn't fire.
- 12:47This person and the and the company just act.
- 12:51We asked and quit. If that's true.
- 13:00That is. Seriously, fucked up.
- 13:08And it just goes to show how weak.
- 13:14And pathetic. the gaming industry really is which leads
- 13:20me to a point that I've been thinking about since I first
- 13:27heard about this from more more theist over the weekend, Because
- 13:35I did look into this a little bit before doing the show.
- 13:43And this is the type of shit that gamergate was supposed to
- 13:51you know, stop back in 2014. Right folks.
- 13:59This is what the infamous you know, gamergate was about.
- 14:03It was about how Zoe Quinn and Anita Anita sarkeesian it and
- 14:08other sjw is that we're basically getting People fired
- 14:14from their jobs in the gaming industry.
- 14:20Four. You know, toxic masculinity or
- 14:27whatever but then it turned out that a lot of those you know,
- 14:32claims were false or whatever. And, you know, my big takeaway
- 14:39from gamergate because and keep in mind, I wasn't there when
- 14:45gamergate really happened that was when I, you know, 2013 2014
- 14:50that was my first year and here in Florida.
- 14:54And I was I was kind of out of the loop, you know, in terms of
- 14:58gaming world as I've said before, but that's why
- 15:02understanding of gamergate, a is it was essentially a wake-up
- 15:05call. to just how bad games journalism Roy is, which to me
- 15:12as a longtime political activist Or political journalist, I
- 15:20should say. Doesn't really come as a
- 15:25surprise. Me anyone who's been paying
- 15:27attention to politics since the really since the rise of Barack
- 15:33Obama and the Obama Administration knows that the
- 15:37mainstream media is corrupt. We know that they lie.
- 15:43We know that they are Insidious. We know that they employ life
- 15:52ruination tactics. We know that social justice
- 15:58Warriors are huge problem. We've known that and all
- 16:06gamergate did was confirm that that is happening in the video
- 16:12game industry and in the comic book industry as well.
- 16:19So, you know, but has anything really changed since 2014?
- 16:28Have. Video game companies really
- 16:33changed their ways. Have any video games?
- 16:38Release of any video game company is Roy's stood up to You
- 16:44know, the sjw cancel culture. All that much.
- 16:51I can't really think of that many examples.
- 16:56I will give Rockstar Games credit where credit is due when
- 17:06Red Dead Redemption came out, when Red Dead Redemption to came
- 17:09out, I should say again maybe one of my favorite video games
- 17:15of all time. I do remember, even though, I
- 17:18didn't, even though I hadn't played it right away, when the
- 17:21game came out, I do remember around the time that game was
- 17:25released. East you know, the social
- 17:29justice Warriors threw a hissy fit because Arthur Morgan, you
- 17:35know, was the epitome of a, you know, of a, you know, straight
- 17:42white male, sis heterosexual, man.
- 17:46You know, who depending on how you play them, was either a
- 17:51virtuous, you know, Man of Honor, you know, by the time you
- 17:58played him or or you know, he could be depending on how you
- 18:02play them, a downright, toxic male, but really depend on how
- 18:07you play the character robots are of Arthur Morgan, you know?
- 18:11And it was you know they did a good job of portraying kind of
- 18:17the end of the Wild West are and the Industrial Revolution and
- 18:21shun and showing how things roll were Back and you know, 1895
- 18:28early 1900s when that game took place.
- 18:33I do remember that the, you know, the sjw's, you know, they
- 18:41were not happy when already are two came out and they tried
- 18:46their damnedest to, basically have You know, that game
- 18:55canceled, they wrote a piece after piece, hit piece.
- 19:00And despite all that Rockstar never budged.
- 19:06Right. But that we have Games.
- 19:12Like The Last of Us Part 2, which Look.
- 19:18I mean I I missed out on like I said I did go back and play Last
- 19:26of Us, you know, the original recently and I just recently
- 19:33played last was 24, you know the PS2?
- 19:40I mean for the PS4 recently. and Last of Us Part One or I should
- 19:49say Last of Us remastered because as I said, you know,
- 19:56several months ago there was no way I was going to pay $70 for
- 20:01the, you know, for the quote-unquote remastered version
- 20:09of That game when I could have, when I got the PS4 version, that
- 20:18remastered version for, for only like 29 bucks, right back up.
- 20:23And I talked about that a lot on the show.
- 20:26We haven't passed. Why is first one that was good?
- 20:35Last was part two, which I had never played.
- 20:37Oh, I until just like December away.
- 20:44Yeah, I understand why people don't like that game.
- 20:46I did finish last was part two, but yeah, I understand what.
- 20:55Let me put it this way. It's not, I don't think it's
- 21:03horrible. Or as bad as people make it out
- 21:07to be but it's not good. It's not as good.
- 21:11It's nowhere near as good as last was one it.
- 21:17And yeah I understand why people are po because they felt the
- 21:24need to make, you know, a la la la lesbian in that game. and,
- 21:34you know, they really want down the, the feminist, you know, rob
- 21:40a whole with the other characters named who I can't
- 21:44remember the one who, You know whose dad Joe killed in the
- 21:51first one. But yeah that game was you know
- 21:56mediocre and and it showed there was a big you know, backlash and
- 22:01that was one time when you know, Neil druckmann bowed to the
- 22:06social justice Warriors and it didn't pan out for them.
- 22:10As far as you know, writing goes and the game didn't do well.
- 22:16L. you know, you have you have a, you know, companies trying to
- 22:23make What is it? Laura Croft.
- 22:30They tried to make her seem less feminine for the Tomb.
- 22:34Raider games, right? So you know, social justice,
- 22:41worry called You're Still prevalent and in games, right?
- 22:46And this this limited run games. They basically have how to the
- 22:57Mob. and fired their Community manager, over the over request
- 23:05from to Twitter activist that is I don't like pathetic.
- 23:18Now. To be fair, I don't even know
- 23:23really what games limited run games.
- 23:29Developed. So I did go on their Twitter
- 23:34here. And let's see, let's see if I
- 23:42can go if I can, can I switch tabs?
- 23:47Here. We will find out.
- 23:59Let's find out here, shall we? Okay.
- 24:20Evidently we can. So let's go ahead and do that.
- 24:27All righty limited run games on Twitter.
- 24:33At woman and Run games, we publish physical games fan of
- 24:38Indies, retro games. Cult classics and more.
- 24:44We like collectible goodies and vinyl records forever physical
- 24:52So on the surface, I do like there. you know, I do like their
- 24:59Mantra of publishing physical media, like actual You know game
- 25:07CDs and one album. I bet you anything there games
- 25:10probably are in the PlayStation Store and on Steam and other
- 25:15digital platforms. But nevertheless I do like their
- 25:17mantra Let's see if they have anything interesting.
- 25:23Okay. So they have All right, so
- 25:27they're putting out like retro Atari games.
- 25:31I guess remastering them. So they're not like enough.
- 25:36They partner with other games Studios, it seems like They sell
- 25:45t-shirts merch. They do all this pre-order. lots
- 25:55of Okay, BPM. I'm just trying to see him.
- 26:03I've heard of any of these games that there.
- 26:08Bringing up an other than other than the Nintendo stuff.
- 26:12Not really folks. I'm not seeing a whole lot here,
- 26:20but Anyway. Alright, let's see here, folks.
- 26:37This is one tweet, I didn't want to see LRG respects in.
- 26:43This is from January 6. So on Friday, actually LRG
- 26:50respects, all personal opinions. However, we remain committed to
- 26:55supporting an inclusive culture, upon investigating a situation,
- 27:02an employee was terminated, And our goal as a company, is to
- 27:05continue to foster, a positive and safe environment for
- 27:09everyone again, your employee got fired.
- 27:16After only. Two activists demanded.
- 27:22It that's not that's not being inclusive LRG.
- 27:26That's caving to the Mob. now, my question is, What are we
- 27:35going to do about, folks? That's my question. are, are we
- 27:46actually going to you know, do something about it or is or we
- 27:53just go ahead and bitch and complain about it, you know,
- 27:59this would be an amazing opportunity for You know, an
- 28:06independent gaming company. To hire Carlin.
- 28:17That's where the opportunity comes your folks.
- 28:22Instead of just talking about bad limited, run games is there
- 28:32should be a an independent developer.
- 28:37Who sees this? And says, you know what, Carlin
- 28:48was good at her job? Maybe she wasn't, I don't know.
- 28:56But assuming she was There's a golden opportunity here for.
- 29:07An independent developer. To bring on.
- 29:14The Carlin. And give her a job.
- 29:23My guess is if she's a community manager for you know, for a
- 29:27games company she's no slat, you know she's not a slacker.
- 29:36You know, because most most community community managers,
- 29:40that that's a tough job in the gaming industry. especially if
- 29:47you're like, managing multi-player, you know, servers
- 29:54and Community forums and all that, you know, doing public
- 30:01relations for gaming companies, all that And, you know, for
- 30:09years conservatives have talked to, oh well we need to get into
- 30:12the gaming space. we need to, you know, we we need to, you
- 30:20know, make video games that are non Social justice.
- 30:30This is the opportunity, and I'm not even talking about for
- 30:33conservatives, just for any video game developer out there
- 30:37who wants, make good quality games again, which are very hard
- 30:45to come by these days. But, you know, the developers
- 30:50most likely are out there, this is a golden opportunity for an
- 30:54indie developer. To bring on a valuable team
- 30:59member. And this is what gamergate
- 31:03should have been about, folks. Getting back to my original
- 31:08point because see it's not enough to say that.
- 31:12Yeah, the gaming industry, you know, games journalism is
- 31:16corrupt and so is the industry. It's been Infested by social
- 31:21justice Warriors. It's good that it came out and,
- 31:26you know, 2014 and it was revealed as a big problem,
- 31:30right? But did gamergate ever really
- 31:35change anything? In regards to the state of video
- 31:40games. As far as I can tell, no.
- 31:46What is my proof? Well, first off, the fact that
- 31:53this woman Karlin was fired because one transgender activist
- 32:05demanded that she was fired. And the company caved.
- 32:13That's my first. You know, example of why of why?
- 32:18You know game I get you didn't do anything.
- 32:22Second, you know, like or not gay, Margate seem to bring a lot
- 32:28of weirdos from the, you know, I don't even want to call them
- 32:33right wing, but just weirdos in general. because you have rage
- 32:40Piggy and Ralph Who isn't even really a gamer, as far as I'm
- 32:47concerned. All you did was host of, you
- 32:49know, kill a stream for, you know, a couple years and then he
- 32:53turned into an absolute. You know, mad man and now he's
- 32:57making himself out to be an ass on the internet.
- 33:02You have ham and you have baked Alaska or fed Alaska, I guess
- 33:07now. you know, Nick Fuentes, you know who I guess, try to start a
- 33:17legitimate political movement but then it became, you know,
- 33:21turn into basically cat-boy, you know, first instead of America
- 33:29first so gamergate didn't really do anything except for bringing
- 33:37the worst degenerate and allow them to quote unquote hijack the
- 33:44right And you know, there's the argument, oh, without gamergate
- 33:52Trump would have never happened. Well, you know, I will give
- 34:01gamergate credit. They did some pretty good memes
- 34:04during the 2016 election, but That was it honestly Trump's big
- 34:14appeal. And 2016 was that he was You
- 34:20know, that he was anti social justice and called out the
- 34:26mainstream media. and really was a big push up push back against,
- 34:37you know, the culture Marxism, that two terms of Obama, you
- 34:42know, push back against and did gamergate have a hand in that
- 34:47perhaps but There are a lot of trump supporters who still have
- 34:54no idea what gamergate even is. and, you know, I think Trump
- 35:05would have gotten elected irregardless of whether or not
- 35:07gamergate had happened. That's my point.
- 35:13So gamergate did nothing and Mr. Met occurs, right?
- 35:18It should be allowed to I guess, die along with him.
- 35:26So what is the, what is the solution here?
- 35:29Folks, as I mentioned, an independent game developer
- 35:34should Pick up Carolyn. and, Put her on a project to develop a
- 35:51series of games. And yeah, independent game
- 35:54studios, granted they don't make oh, they don't make a ton of
- 35:58money compared to rock star or EA or the big ones.
- 36:02They don't like the big budgets. but, I mean, Max and who hosts
- 36:12cringing with coffee? I know he's big into indie
- 36:17games. So is a kebab out insomnia.
- 36:20I'm sure those two if I were to ask them would probably know of
- 36:29independent game developers, that would be willing to have
- 36:32this young woman on their team. In fact, actual I host of the
- 36:44You know, founder of the Ripper verse and, you know, he does a
- 36:49podcast. As well.
- 36:53He's actually start to talk about, maybe starting a video
- 36:58game company as a result of this.
- 37:03And I'm not going to play the whole entire clip of him talking
- 37:09about this, but I do want to play a little bit of it.
- 37:13So let me, let me get this cute up here. if I can only see, yes,
- 37:29I am. I understand.
- 37:35Okay. So, what US?
- 37:53What a see what? Eric July has to say.
- 37:56ER, Regarding limited run games, roll the tape.
- 38:12Do, excuse me. I know I'm a little late to this
- 38:14story but I wanted to just get some more information on it and
- 38:17kind of dig just a little bit on it.
- 38:19Now this company and limited run games.
- 38:23I'm not gonna sit up here pretend like I've ever really
- 38:25consumed anything in the actual creative side of the
- 38:28entertainment. They may not know how this is.
- 38:32So nice gamer put this together and game distributor, limited
- 38:39followed other people as well. Well, that lets say aren't
- 38:41necessarily leftist mean, not just the colleagues, but just
- 38:46other people that are external that, maybe all those cars
- 38:50because of there's a tick tock, we know who they highlight in
- 38:53the goofy things that have come from tick upon investigation and
- 38:59get investigating a situation. And employee was terminated, our
- 39:02goal as a company is to continue to foster a positive safe
- 39:05environment for everybody. This person was fired not
- 39:07because of anything. They did to anything.
- 39:10That I see. But it was because they follow
- 39:12people that, I guess the other side, we would deem as
- 39:15controversial and we know how they feel about lives or Tick
- 39:18Tock and others. But mainly lives a tick tock,
- 39:20what seems to be the focal point of the kind of snitch campaign?
- 39:24That was rammed. Now, as I continue to talk about
- 39:27this I'm gonna see if I can find some of the other, like Witch
- 39:33Hunt. Witch Hunters I guess is what
- 39:35you would call them. A note Milli Max, the Showcase,
- 39:38some of them So yeah, you have this person right here, since I
- 39:45signed the contract, limited run games and I'm shocked
- 39:48disappointed and so to see this come from their Community
- 39:51manager and I just emailed the team.
- 39:55I've been talking to stating, I won't be able to move forward
- 39:58with our business to. This is dressed in linen is
- 40:00removed. So this person just flat out
- 40:04admitted, what it was. What is this person?
- 40:06A, I don't know. Oh trance, hmm, it was go.
- 40:12I'm able to see any of this. I can't see that original pulse.
- 40:17It was a snitch campaign. That's what happened at the end
- 40:20of the day. Yeah, my argument is this it's
- 40:23very simple. It's not complicated at all.
- 40:27There needs to be more Ripper versus but not just reverses in
- 40:31comics. There needs to be more reverses
- 40:32and virtually every single aspect of entertainment.
- 40:38Okay. What you have right now and I
- 40:40need people to understand how bad it actually is.
- 40:42What you have right now is there is a Bunch of people that work
- 40:46for various companies that have to hide who it is that they are.
- 40:48There's only one acceptable, political message that you can
- 40:52have publicly loudly and proudly and its political social
- 40:58political leftism, social more on the scale on that scale as
- 41:02well. Social political leftism is what
- 41:05you can openly support and be without having any conflict
- 41:10with. Let's say your employer.
- 41:12We saw this with and I know the article mentioned is Hogwarts
- 41:15Legacy because they had one of the lead game designers was
- 41:19following people, like Ben Shapiro, that got them out to
- 41:22it, as well. It's not about that.
- 41:25Now, of course, they will always presented as a way.
- 41:29Well, you're the enemy or these people are the enemy and they're
- 41:32so toxic and it's so violent. Even though they're not what it
- 41:35boils down to is that you can be open leftist.
- 41:38Support open left. This that have definitely in the
- 41:41summer of love and 2020 that have actually advocated violence
- 41:45promoted it At minimum Justified it you can do that.
- 41:50There's not going to be any problems, but if you do it, if
- 41:53you're supportive people that are on the opposite side of
- 41:56them, let's say on the what they deem on the political Spectrum,
- 41:59you're in trouble. Okay?
- 42:00That's just what it is. So I know this in comics, I say
- 42:03this from experience. There are people that have
- 42:05reached out to meet who have been part of like have done work
- 42:08with Marvel and have said some of the princes you've used to
- 42:10see on my walls. We're actually printed I was
- 42:12getting directly from the original artist.
- 42:15And they would say that there are fans of me, but they've
- 42:17course can't make that public because they don't want to
- 42:19jeopardize your job. I think that's a crappy way to
- 42:22live, but the reality is just doesn't end until these guys are
- 42:25competed with. And then you have a a let's say
- 42:30business plan. And you just don't do what the
- 42:34other guys are doing, right? It's not about hiring people
- 42:37that are all on your exams, like disagree with you.
- 42:40Top to bottom on situations. I don't, we don't have that, not
- 42:44everybody. Obviously at if any at reverse
- 42:48are, let's say anarcho-capitalist.
- 42:51Okay? Like myself.
- 42:53But if these people follow somebody, I'm not going to let's
- 42:58say fire them just because they follow some people that's just
- 43:02silly. That's goofy.
- 43:04I'm not going to Old like a tweet from somebody.
- 43:06I'm not doing it. That is so dumb.
- 43:09Like there comes a point in time where you might do something
- 43:12with your job in itself. That lets say is in conflict
- 43:16with with where it is that we're going and you're jeopardizing a
- 43:19business because of a mistake that you made, that's one thing.
- 43:23But because you like someone's or follow someone, that is on a
- 43:26different side of political Spectrum.
- 43:27That's, that's, we're not doing that.
- 43:30But the needs to be Alternatives that are competitive more
- 43:33important. It's not just hey, God is
- 43:34basement. Starting a business, not what it
- 43:36is? It needs to be, like what we did
- 43:38with the reverse, we put the industry on notice.
- 43:40We need those equivalence. They can be established Brands.
- 43:43You can be non-establishment, Brands to come through and
- 43:47actually be a threat to the like schemes and scams of the Legacy
- 43:55entertainers, because that's where they're at.
- 43:58They've made it abundantly clear.
- 44:00I'm trying I've been trying for years to get to get people that
- 44:03are not All right, so I think you got the point and Ripa is
- 44:10absolutely right there. Eric July is That.
- 44:20You know, die basically. Diversity of opinion is the only
- 44:27diversity that should matter here, right?
- 44:32But we live in a world Now, ladies and gentlemen. we live in
- 44:37a world where if you are in the entertainment industry, Or in
- 44:49Corporate America. The only.
- 44:57The only opinion that you can rely exhibit publicly.
- 45:05These days at least in corporate entertainment, is that you are a
- 45:12left Winger. Otherwise.
- 45:19You are basically. A right.
- 45:23We not see in these people's minds, that's what you are.
- 45:29Doesn't care if you're a moderate doesn't care if you're
- 45:32an independent like me or you know, like I am, I'm more like a
- 45:37conservative libertarian. Here's the thing.
- 45:45In regards to these activists, right?
- 45:54was the fact that, Was the fact that Cara Cara Lynn.
- 46:04Was the fact that she was falling lives of tick-tock.
- 46:07Orion miles. Chong was the affecting her job
- 46:11performance at all? Was that affecting her ability
- 46:20to perform tasks as Community manager for a limited run games.
- 46:29The answer as far as I'm aware of.
- 46:37And as far as if anyone is where of is no, was that affecting a
- 46:41job performance? No.
- 46:49Was she posting political propaganda on behalf of her
- 46:58company. I just went through their
- 47:00Twitter timeline, as you saw on screen, And the answer is now.
- 47:11Was she advocating violence towards any group of people
- 47:16know? and yet she got fired because
- 47:23These. Trans activist.
- 47:28Didn't like who she was falling. On her own social media.
- 47:37And worth running to pole contracts.
- 47:42With limited running games. Now, what I want to know is how
- 47:46much were those contracts that these activist has this had How
- 47:55much were these contracts worth? Were they contracts that made
- 48:02up? You know like 3/4 of limited run
- 48:07games, potential income for the year.
- 48:14I know that the economy is shit. Thank you, Joe Biden. and I know
- 48:20the people are hurting right now, but unless those two
- 48:26contracts from the activists, Were worth basically your
- 48:32entire, you know, income for 2023 or however you know, the
- 48:40gaming industry does it's you know, quarters.
- 48:45Unless these contracts would wear to make of all of your
- 48:49revenue for the year. And even then have a fucking
- 48:58backbone limited run games. This is not going to end well
- 49:04for limited run games. They're already getting
- 49:07backlash, majorly even from non-political people because
- 49:15people are sick and tired of You know, this social justice got.
- 49:21Most people don't even know who what limited game, what limited
- 49:25run games is where they've never heard of them.
- 49:30And they're probably not going to buy any games from them.
- 49:33Now in the future, knowing that they fired an employee for just
- 49:38falling people with different opinions.
- 49:41So well done. So well done limited run games.
- 49:45Well done. You have fucked yourself. you
- 49:54know, so I guess the moral of the story is here is, you know,
- 50:00If? If you have a different opinion
- 50:04from the, you know, outrage mob, don't expect your company to
- 50:08protect you. That's the moral of the story.
- 50:11It's a shitty, you know, thing to say, but it's true in 2022
- 50:16and it's been true, unfortunately, for the past
- 50:19decade or so, my message to the people who who actually do care
- 50:29about free speech and free expression is to rather than
- 50:34just bitch about this. If you are, if you are a game
- 50:38developer And I know that there are independent game developers
- 50:45out there, who are, you know, proponent of free speech and
- 50:49diverse opinion. This is your opportunity to
- 50:53actually do something worthwhile to make a difference in gaming
- 51:00to make an actual dent in the gaming industry.
- 51:05And if you're a gaming company, that wants to hire this
- 51:09community manager, And wants to promote your game project.
- 51:17By all means reach out to me on in the anyone in my platforms
- 51:21and I would be happy to have you on the show to promote your
- 51:26project. It's time that we stop letting
- 51:31you know, social justice Warriors.
- 51:35In hardcore leftist ruin or continue to ruin the gaming
- 51:42industry and it's time for good and decent people to stand up
- 51:48for what is right and to stand up for good people.
- 51:51Expressing. There are views.
- 51:59Alrighty, folks. And with that I think that will
- 52:02do that for a, you know, this edition of the show.
- 52:07I don't want to ramble on for too much longer.
- 52:10Once again, I'd like to thank more Theus for, you know,
- 52:17contributing today's topic and giving and giving that me that
- 52:21recommendation, I really do appreciate it, I will be back
