- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, nobody has
- 0:08had a bigger mouth than Alan Dershowitz. This dude has
- 0:12been on every program, every TV station talking about how
- 0:17Jeffrey Epstein was just, you know, a regular run of
- 0:21the mill diddler and now he had no connections as
- 0:25far as intelligence or powerful people whatsoever, and that he
- 0:31certainly didn't blackmail anyone. Well, we know that's a bunch
- 0:35of bs. Now, considering what Bill Gates just told us,
- 0:39I would think that Alan Dershowitz might want to reevaluate
- 0:42some of his past commentary, but for some reason, I
- 0:45highly doubt it. And now he's out here popping off
- 0:49at the app again talking about how he wants to
- 0:53be deposed by the Congressional Committee. Well, now he's getting
- 0:58his wish, because it looks like mister Comer is going
- 1:03to call him in for a chat. Now it's going
- 1:05to be voluntary, because Alan Dershowitz has said that he
- 1:08wants to get before the committee and set some shit straight,
- 1:12and now it looks like he's going to get that opportunity.
- 1:15But I wonder how much they're going to be able
- 1:16to get from him. How much is he going to
- 1:19claim is privileged? Well, that was my client. I can't
- 1:22say much. And look, I'm not going to sit here
- 1:25and tell you that Dershowitz was out here partaking in
- 1:28the abuse besides what we've heard from the allegations made
- 1:31by Virginia, and they ended up settling their suit with
- 1:35nobody accepting liability or wrong. So we can't sit here
- 1:39and say with certainty that Dershowitz did this or did that.
- 1:44But what I can say is he's reprehensible and he's
- 1:48done everything in his power to try and whitewash what
- 1:50Jeffrey Epstein really was. And whether that's out of self
- 1:53preservation or something else, I don't know, But I think
- 1:57it's a great idea to get him under oath, and
- 2:00I think that all of Epstein's legal team should be
- 2:02brought in, And if I was in Congress, I would
- 2:05focus completely on the non prosecution deal one hundred percent.
- 2:11Today's article is from The Guardian and the Headline House
- 2:14Panel to seek testimony from Alan Dershowitz about Jeffrey Epstein.
- 2:18This article was authored by Anna Betts Representative James Comer,
- 2:22the Republican who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and
- 2:25Government Reform, announced that he would be asking Alan Dershowitz,
- 2:29Jeffrey Epstein's former attorney, to appear before the panel as
- 2:32part of its investigation into the late sex offender. You
- 2:36mean Donald Trump's lawyer, because that's what Dershowitz is as well, right,
- 2:41not just Epstein's lawyer, but Donald Trump's. And I know
- 2:44everybody is entitled to the best legal representation that they
- 2:48can get, but it sure is pretty coincidental that every
- 2:52time something pops up about Jeffrey Epstein, here comes Alan
- 2:56Dershowitz on Newsmax or a Fox News attempting to counter narratives.
- 3:01And what would his motivation for that be? Who's he
- 3:04still protecting his client's not here anymore? Could it be
- 3:08that he's still protecting all of his friends? Quite possibly?
- 3:13I'm going to ask Alan Dershowitz to come in. We
- 3:15will have questions for him, and we will give them
- 3:18an opportunity to come in. Comer sat on Wednesday morning,
- 3:21adding that the decision was based on the testimony of
- 3:24Leslie Groff, Epstein's longtime assistant, who testified before the committee
- 3:28on Tuesday, as well as meeting that I had afterwards
- 3:32with several of Epstein's survivors. Well, it's about time. I'm
- 3:37shocked that Comer even met with survivors in the first place.
- 3:40Did Donald Trump approve that? Is he going to take
- 3:42away your sippy cup? Oh, James Comer is a bad man.
- 3:47He met with the Epstein survivors. This is bigly bad.
- 3:50I mean, we know that loyalty is a one way street.
- 3:52When we're talking about the president, we will have questions
- 3:56for him and will give them an opportunity to come
- 3:59in and answer. There are several questions that arose yesterday
- 4:02based on Miss Groff's testimony and some things that someone
- 4:05of the Epstein survivor said. Comer said, And it's been
- 4:09a long time coming. Alan Dershowitz has a lot to
- 4:11say about what Epstein wasn't, but he doesn't have much
- 4:15to say about all the other things that were going
- 4:17on around them. I never seen anything on towards I
- 4:22got a massage, but my underwear was on, my wife
- 4:25was with me, we went to the island, blah blah blah.
- 4:29And there's always some kind of excuse, right, And he
- 4:32does it in like this snide manner. It's very arrogant
- 4:36and it's very cocky, and he does it time and
- 4:40time again. He demeans these women who have been abused,
- 4:45calls it a hoax, says this is BS, that's BS.
- 4:48You know what's really bs. The fact that Dershowitz wants
- 4:51to tell us started and stopped with him being his lawyer.
- 4:55We know it was more than that. Now, I'm not
- 4:57going to sit here and tell you that. I know
- 4:59you know that depths of it, and I'm not going
- 5:02to sit here and tell you I have evidence of
- 5:03Alan Dershowitz taking part. I don't, but I think there's
- 5:07plenty of evidence that Alan Dershowitz knows a whole lot
- 5:10more than he's ever let on. Now, the one thing
- 5:13I will say about Dershowitz is him being the lawyer.
- 5:17He at least has some kind of credible excuse for
- 5:20not talking about Epstein. Look, I was his lawyer. I
- 5:24can't break confidentiality even in death, and I get that,
- 5:29and I respect that, but considering that, you should just
- 5:32shut up about the topic in general. But God forbid,
- 5:35Alan Dershowitz does that. God forbid he just shuts up
- 5:39and moves on, has to keep interjecting himself, has to
- 5:42keep running his yapp And now that his narrative about
- 5:45Jeffrey Epstein never blackmailing anybody has been blown out of
- 5:48the water by Bill Gates, he wants to testify all
- 5:52of a sudden, but he has to make sure that
- 5:53the narratives all patched up. The transcript of Graev's testimony
- 5:57has not yet been released by the Committee. Her opening statement,
- 6:00Groff told lawmakers that she had no knowledge of Epstein's
- 6:03crimes while working for him, and described her former employer
- 6:07as a master manipulator and deceiver. Well, he definitely was that.
- 6:12And when it comes to people like Leslie Groff, okay,
- 6:15I'm more than willing to think that she was deceived,
- 6:17at least in part by Jeffrey Epstein. Alan Dershowitz, no chance,
- 6:24dude knew exactly what Jeffrey Epstein was and didn't care
- 6:27for one second. In fact, has run around demeaning these
- 6:31little girls who were abused. Oh, Epstein was with a
- 6:34girl who was seventeen years old in ten months. What
- 6:37he fails to point out was there girls that were
- 6:39as young as fourteen that were involved in that. But
- 6:41as part of the deal that Dershowitz helped create with
- 6:45Main Justice. They said that the victim was seventeen and
- 6:48ten months so it would make it look better for
- 6:51Jeffrey Epstein. That's what they were doing. How can we
- 6:55make Jeffrey Epstein look like he's not the monster that
- 6:58he is? That was the goal, and boy were they successful.
- 7:05Dershowitz defended the disgraced financier after he was first arrested,
- 7:09and was a member of Epstein's legal team that negotiated
- 7:12Epstein's now controversial two thousand and eight plea deal. And
- 7:15in twenty fourteen, Virginia Roberts and Epstein's survivor, alleged that
- 7:19Dershowitz actually assaulted her when she was a teenager as
- 7:23part of Epstein's sex trafficking operation. Dershowitz has strongly denied
- 7:27those claims and has never been charged with any wrongdoing
- 7:30related to Epstein. Roberts sued Dershowitz in twenty nineteen, alleging
- 7:35that he defamed her when denying her claims, but dropped
- 7:38the lawsuit in twenty twenty two and said that she
- 7:41may have made a mistake in accusing him, or maybe
- 7:44she just was tired of it, the whole entire song
- 7:48and dance. What would it prove She'd get a few
- 7:52more bucks from Alan Dershowitz, and then what she'd still
- 7:56be called a liar, just like with Prince Andrew. So
- 8:00in Virginia's estimation, enough was enough. That's really what it
- 8:04came down to, nothing more and nothing less. Roberts died
- 8:10in April of twenty twenty five. In a telephone interview
- 8:13with the Guardian on Wednesday, Dershowitz said that he had
- 8:15volunteered to testify before the House Committee, pointing to a
- 8:19recent appearance on Newsmax in which Dershowitz said on the
- 8:22show that he'd be willing to appear before the committee.
- 8:26Such a gracious guy, mister, I kept my underpants on, Dershowitz.
- 8:32I can present a much more nuanced and calibrated description
- 8:35of the complexity of these things, the Harvard law professor
- 8:38told the Guardian. He added, I'm not a reluctant witness.
- 8:41I wanted to testify, as I said from day one,
- 8:45I want the truth to come out. What truth? What
- 8:48do you even mean? What he's saying is he wants
- 8:50to go on whitewash. What exactly is the truth, Alan Dershowitz,
- 8:57that you and your buddies made sure that Jeffrey Epstein
- 8:59got the deal of the century and that he could
- 9:03go on and continue to abuse people. Is that what
- 9:05you want to tell us, because that's what happened. So
- 9:08save your snide, arrogant bullshit for somebody else. Everything I
- 9:14did in relation to the Epstein case I'm proud of,
- 9:17he said. I'm sure you are. I am sure you're
- 9:19proud that you got that son of a bitch the
- 9:21deal of a century. I'm sure you are. I'm sure
- 9:24you're proud that you guys cut a deal that was
- 9:27illegal with the federal government. That's right, I said it illegal.
- 9:32And furthermore, that whole deal should be thrown out and
- 9:36all of you, mister Dershowitz, should be looked at. Yeah,
- 9:40that's right. I think that all of you, in collusion
- 9:43with the DOJ, cooked up this deal. That's what I think.
- 9:48And I think that if there was a special counsel
- 9:50appointed to the case, they'd come to the same conclusion.
- 9:54Dershowitz also pointed out that the news Max host Greta
- 9:57Vancestrin said on her Show on Tuesday that she reached
- 10:00out to Comer's office to ask about Dershowitz and his
- 10:03willingness to testify, and claimed that it was her reaching out,
- 10:07as well as his offer to testify, that led to
- 10:09Comer requesting his testimony on Wednesday. In response, spokesperson from
- 10:15Comer's office told The Guardian that the House Oversight Committee
- 10:18will speak with anyone who has information about the federal
- 10:21government's handling of the Epstein and Maxwell cases and their crimes. Well,
- 10:26I just thought that Comer told us that it had
- 10:29to do with Leslie Groff. Is Dershowitz lying or it's Comer.
- 10:38They added that yesterday Leslie Groff named when asked who
- 10:41else should come before the committee Alan Dershowitz, and said
- 10:44that Chairman Comer also met with survivors yesterday and stated
- 10:49that Dershowitz should be interviewed. Dershowitz told The Guardian that
- 10:53he hardly knew Groff, but said that he saw on
- 10:55a couple occasions sitting behind the desk at Epstein's office
- 10:59and that I think perhaps some flights when I was
- 11:02going down there to be his lawyer to speak to
- 11:04the US attorney or the state attorney, but I never
- 11:07had any substantative conversations with her. Who cares. I don't
- 11:13care about any of that. I care about what role
- 11:15he played in the NPA and if there was anything
- 11:19that was unethical that happened there, people should lose their
- 11:22law license, right, they should be disbarred. And considering that
- 11:24Jeffrey Epstein was still abusing girls while he was under
- 11:28that NPA and out on probation, the deal should be
- 11:31null and void. And not only should it be null
- 11:33and void, it should be looked at for criminal conduct.
- 11:37How about we talk about that and what parts specifically
- 11:40you played when it comes to reaching out to Main
- 11:42Justice and pitching them whatever kind of deal that you
- 11:45guys pitched them. That's what I'm interested in hearing about.
- 11:49And it looks like we'll get those answers sometime soon.
- 11:53But until then, that's going to do it for this one.
