- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Welcome to TS Paranormal Productions.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: I'm here with the Paranormal Girls from Iowa.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: If you want to introduce yourself real quick.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: My name is Brenda, and I'm the founder of Paranormal Girls.
- 0:16SPEAKER_05: And I'm Kathy, and I'm a paranormal girl.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: Um, I have been thoroughly in golfed or obsessed.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: A lot of people tell me with the paranormal.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: And my brother is a paranormal investigator, and I always wanted to go and he wouldn't always take me.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Um, and so then I when he did finally take me, I'm like, okay, so we need to be going here, here, and here.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: And it seemed like that never happened.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: So I decided to build my own team out of all females, you know, that we all share the same thing that we have the passion for.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: So I put some posts out on Facebook, wanted to, you know, get some people rounded up, and we got rounded up, we figured out who vibed the best, and so um the paranormal girls team was formed at that point.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Um when was that?
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Um April of 2024.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: So we're yeah relatively new, a little over a year.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: So that's like like you said, trying to figure out who gels and who doesn't.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Make sure your group is good.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: So, Kathy, how do you gel into this group?
- 1:40SPEAKER_05: How do I what?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Gel.
- 1:43SPEAKER_05: Oh I'm I you know, it's it's like we have a connection, it's uh very comfortable around each other.
- 1:55SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, it's like family.
- 1:58SPEAKER_05: Um, we all connect and support each other, and I'm an empath, and we just all kind of encourage, you know, our our uh growth of you know what kind of gifts we have.
- 2:12SPEAKER_05: And um yeah, we're we're just kind of like a family.
- 2:16SPEAKER_05: We have a good time together too, and you know, we take what we do seriously, and we have a lot of fun with it too.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I think that's one of the biggest things that a lot of people don't look at.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: It's like like you said, family.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Like everybody has to get along.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, and it's supposed to be fun, that's why we do it, you know.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Obviously, we want to get answers, but it's also supposed to be fun, also.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: And there's a lot of people out there that aren't making it fun.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're all about business and doing TikTok videos and all that fun stuff, but that stinks, you have to do that to get your name out there, also.
- 2:52SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: So I'll from Ohio.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Um, you guys are from Iowa.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: So paranormal wise, what does Iowa offer?
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: Uh we have Velisca House, the Velisca Axe Murders, uh, Squirrel Cage Jail in Council Bluffs, Edinburgh Manor up in northeastern Iowa.
- 3:16unknown: Yeah.
- 3:18SPEAKER_05: Um the uh old Mercy Hospital, Oscaloosa.
- 3:23SPEAKER_05: Yep.
- 3:24SPEAKER_05: Um, that was an amazing uh investigation that was done.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: There's Matthias Ham House, there's Strawberry Point Theater, there um independent state mental or independent mental hospital.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: There's actually quite a few locations around Iowa.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: You just gotta dig for them.
- 3:51SPEAKER_05: Um, what's that?
- 3:52SPEAKER_05: School for our oh Bondarant Ferrar.
- 3:56SPEAKER_05: The Ferrar School.
- 3:57SPEAKER_05: Yeah, there's a lot of like we have a oh, there's an old cemetery too.
- 4:04SPEAKER_05: I think it's what is it, Glendale?
- 4:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, or uh yeah, that it's uh it's it's ancient.
- 4:11SPEAKER_05: I mean it it's kind of amazing to walk through, and um, I haven't actually did any investigation.
- 4:19SPEAKER_05: I think maybe you might have Brenda.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, we did Wood what's that?
- 4:24SPEAKER_05: We did Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn, that's the one I'm talking about.
- 4:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's uh yeah, there's a lot of really cool places around here, and sometimes you can just drive by something and say, you know what, I know that is, and maybe get some gear and just you know end up there on the premises if we can legally do it.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: There's an uh was it Ferrara Elementary?
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: That's getting more popular now.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Isn't that the one that is that the one that Sam and Colby bought?
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Have you guys been there?
- 5:02SPEAKER_05: Nope.
- 5:03SPEAKER_05: I have not.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: No desire or um impersonal differences because of Sam and Colby.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: I mean, and I'll just leave it at that.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's fine.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, they don't trust me.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I'm low profile here, they ain't watching my stuff, so um I think I don't know, it's hard.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: I've never watched a Sam and Colba video, I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: I've seen them on Death Station Fear.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: That's about it.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Um I was a huge fan.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Watched every episode.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Um right before they bought it.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: We had um an investigation set up.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: They kicked us out of that investigation.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: Um we got set up for a different time, we got kicked out of that investigation as well.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: So I honestly have no desire to go there.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: So they give you a reason.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: But I know a lot of people are big Sam McColby fans, so I'm not that's why I said it's just personal indifferences.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, trust me.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: I my daughter watches them, you know.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: She just she tells me about them.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: But I mean, that place is supposed to be pretty, yeah, pretty active.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what's up, Nacho?
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: Uh Nacho from Verona Ghost just jumped in.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, hello.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: Hi.
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: I um I was just out in Ohio a couple weeks ago.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you guys seem to put some miles on your vehicles.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: Well, my husband had to go out there for his work.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: So I took the opportunity to go with him, and then we went to um I went to Fairfield uh County Infirmary while he hung out with his work work buddies.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, definitely.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Is your husband into this?
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Is your husband into this?
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Or no.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, my wife has nothing to do with it.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: So um, let's talk about Fairfield real quick.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: Um I've been there, got nothing.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know if I got a feeling there.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: A cool place, cool history.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Gonna go back.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: It's not it's only a few hours away.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Did you get anything there?
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: So um there was actually like six of us, and if all six of us were together, or if there was like four of us or five of us together, whatever, it didn't seem like we got as much as if we broke off into like groups of two.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: And then you just go and sit and like just listen, like not necessarily talk or anything like that, just sit and listen for different things.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: Um we caught on video it sounded like plastic getting ripped off of a window, but there was no plastic on any windows.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: And then there was another instance where we were out in the hallway and something sounded like it was scratching, clawing, you know, like trying to get out of something, and it was getting closer and coming up the hallway towards us.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: We went in every room in that hallway, looked under every board, behind boards and everything, because initially we thought an animal got in, like a raccoon or whatever, yeah, and we didn't find uh anything.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: Like no animal droppings, no nesting stuff, nothing.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Um but as far we got a couple of uh stick figures on the SLS in the attic.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: And so I mean, it wasn't like super active, but you know, I mean there was some experiences there.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: It just it's kind of seemed like the girls in my group got a decent amount of activity, the guys didn't.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Sorry, but I I noticed that a few groups have gone there, the girls got stuff, the guys didn't.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: So I was just wondering if it's kind of the same thing.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: Sorry, go ahead.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: No, you're good, go ahead.
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: Oh, I was just gonna say in the hallway it was my brother and me.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Uh and you know, and I mean it was something that we b we were both hearing the same noises, you know, throughout the the thing uh or throughout that little course of time.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: And um, we got a stick figure in the basement too.
- 9:57SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: And uh like behind the nurse's station, there's that room, and then there's another room before you go in the hallway back to the morgue.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: Um, and that little room off to the side, there was like a stove there, and we have a stick figure like going like this up on the up on that stove, like just casually hanging out.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Um which was cool.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: But I think when you go in there, uh um, I don't know, maybe take a female with you.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: You know, and just do a couple uh people and just go and just sit, you know, like record, have EP EVPs run it, whatever, but just see what you can pick up.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Because I actually that plastic ripping noise, I caught it on my camera or on my EVP recorder.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Uh pretty sure my camera, but my disk malfunctioned, so I can't get to it.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Um, and my brother picked it up on his EVP recorder as well.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: So cut on multiple devices, which is cool.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: But he said sometimes when you go in there, you just have to sit and you just have to listen.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because then the house will come alive, and then you'll start experiencing different things.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I tell a lot of people that when they do investigations, like you always have your hot spots in every place.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: Um, Trans Allegheny is one of them.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: I talked to that a few times about it.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: You know, you have your rooms that you go into that stuff has happened.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: I always tell people just go in a hallway, sit down, and just listen.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: I think I've been there twice and I've gotten so much more off of that than going to the so-called hotspots that everybody goes to.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Sooner or later, those spirits are gonna be like, all right, this is stupid.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Like sick of talking to these people.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: So, Kathy, what you've been doing this for over a year.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: I don't say scariest, but was there one place that you went to said, like, oh man, like I don't know about this?
- 12:15SPEAKER_05: I I don't think I really scare easily.
- 12:19SPEAKER_05: Um I think there was kind of a little bit of a creep out.
- 12:26SPEAKER_05: We were um I think it was the old mercy over Oscaloosa, and um, you know, you go down into like the basement area and like you know, it it was more of a creep out vibe, you know, and in some of the areas and like I can I have a thing where I can feel like I I don't know, I think the gals sometimes catch me looking behind me a lot because I can feel things coming up behind me, like my nickel tingle and then between my shoulder blades.
- 13:05SPEAKER_05: And so I I had a lot of that there.
- 13:09SPEAKER_05: Um let's see here.
- 13:12SPEAKER_05: Uh we had an incident where we were going up a staircase.
- 13:18SPEAKER_05: Um oh Brenda, what was the oh gosh, this last it wasn't Melvern.
- 13:29SPEAKER_05: Um it was over in St.
- 13:30SPEAKER_05: Joe, the mansion.
- 13:32SPEAKER_05: What's that?
- 13:33SPEAKER_05: Beatty mansion, the Beatty, um, the staircase.
- 13:38SPEAKER_05: Um there's a story about a a gal that, you know, jumped and hung herself from the top of the one staircase there.
- 13:46SPEAKER_05: And you can when you head up that way and you're almost to the top, you can really feel it's it's very thick.
- 13:54SPEAKER_05: And like my heart would kind of race there.
- 13:57SPEAKER_05: And like through the night, you know, we went up and down that staircase multiple times.
- 14:02SPEAKER_05: And at one point, like the feeling just overcame me.
- 14:06SPEAKER_05: And it was like, I need to stop here and catch my breath because I almost felt like I could feel the presence so strong.
- 14:15SPEAKER_05: It was almost like, I don't know how many times I've been up and down the staircase tonight, but yet if I don't stop and think and you know, just catch my breath here, you know, I'm gonna end up tumbling down this for no apparent reason.
- 14:30SPEAKER_05: It was just the I could feel the motion there.
- 14:34SPEAKER_05: And um, you know, that was that was probably the worst time.
- 14:39SPEAKER_05: And when we got up to that floor to investigate, I was kind of like, you know, um, I need to stay on this floor and do as much as I can and investigating because I cannot come up and down the staircase one more time tonight.
- 14:53SPEAKER_05: So yeah, that was probably the worst time.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: Um couple comments here.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Um Nacho from Rona Ghost Chasers got that right, Nacho.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: First time.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: Um, how about your favorite place and your best catch?
- 15:14SPEAKER_05: Favorite?
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: Go ahead.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: No, Kathy, go ahead.
- 15:18SPEAKER_05: Oh, um I guess I really love McPyke Mansion and the feeling that I think we all got in there.
- 15:28SPEAKER_05: Um is the fact that you can feel them and they're family.
- 15:35SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, uh I think the daughter, uh Jenny or Jin Jin is Misty called her, was kind of playful.
- 15:45SPEAKER_05: And it was um just, you know, you could feel and it was like family.
- 15:49SPEAKER_05: This is a family, even though they've passed, they're still here, but it's you know, and um the owners are gradually um restoring it.
- 16:02SPEAKER_05: And it's just uh it's just a beautiful place, you know.
- 16:04SPEAKER_05: It's like I'm always joking about when's my bedroom gonna be done there.
- 16:09SPEAKER_05: Um, yeah.
- 16:10SPEAKER_05: And then probably um one of the other amazing uh places, I'm gonna say it was uh Old Mercy at Oscaloosa.
- 16:24SPEAKER_05: Um there was that one incident where uh there was a disembodied voice.
- 16:30SPEAKER_05: It was a you could tell it was a young woman.
- 16:32SPEAKER_05: Um, I remember when Brendan and I first heard it, we just looked at each other with white eyes.
- 16:37SPEAKER_05: And it was a young woman, and she just very clearly it was a hello to us, very clear, very loud.
- 16:44SPEAKER_05: And when it took us off guard, we we didn't catch it um, you know, on any audio, but it was you know a personal experience.
- 16:53SPEAKER_05: And then also too, I believe it was a room um that I want to say it might have been the more room or receiving room, uh big ice chest in there, you know, which made sense, you know.
- 17:09SPEAKER_05: Um if it was like a receiving room, they probably used ice, but um on the SLS, I got we got some verbal interaction, but also I got the um the stick figures, and they were kind of like you know sitting on it.
- 17:29SPEAKER_05: Um I think at one point we were trying to get one to jump down and it would act like it was gonna jump down and it didn't.
- 17:36SPEAKER_05: It was just kind of messing with us, but it was really I so I yeah, that's one of my cherished cherished clips that I have.
- 17:45SPEAKER_05: So yeah.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: So I mean paranormal world, we talk about this.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: We don't we talk about but we don't talk about like empaths and sensitives, and you know, I when I started this, I really didn't believe in them, you know.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: I just thought everybody was as sensitive.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Everybody has that feeling when you walk into a room, but as I'm doing this and talking to more people and investigating with more groups, yes, but I mean, we're talking like catching stuff.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're out there trying to get, I guess, so-called evidence, and so like where does it break down?
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Like, do you use your empath to say something's here?
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Let's go try to get some evidence now.
- 18:35SPEAKER_05: It it depends.
- 18:36SPEAKER_05: Um sometimes I I know that I have radar and it's zoning in, but there are times that I can feel it, but I sometimes I'll like just maybe close my eyes and just just fill fill the room, fill out the situation.
- 18:58SPEAKER_05: Um I'm I need to learn to be more vocal about that and say, hey, you know what?
- 19:05SPEAKER_05: I I think I feel something over here, and you know, I'm still learning.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: So I mean that's yeah.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I mean that's great because I mean it's always I think it's always a good starter because we have a lady on our team that's feels stuff and you know, sensitive, empath, whatever, and I always tell her that's like okay, you feel it, let's go investigate it now.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's I think that's where you should start.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: But I mean it's hard in our field when so many people say they're empaths or they're sensitives, but you know, back it up then, get the evidence.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like you felt that now you have recording.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there was something there, like because this lady just said hi or told me to get out, whatever.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: So I mean, I think that's one of the things like in the field right now is what is happening is I mean, you guys watch videos and see every every you know, there's a couple groups out there saying they're the most sensitive or psychic mediums in the world.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, but that's all they talk about, like they don't show anything.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: Like talk is cheap, you know, in in this field, we want we want to hear those EVPs.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: I love EVPs.
- 20:15SPEAKER_05: Oh yeah.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: If it wasn't for Facebook, that's all I'd ever take, would be a recorder.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: And I'm happy with it.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: But here we are doing live videos and podcasts, so and I hate being on camera, so we're still here.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: So yeah, my favorite, I I don't have a favorite location because we've gone to too many that I actually really like.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: But my capture was my very first EVP, and it was caught at Edinburgh.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: And we were in a guy's room named Jerry.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: There was a bunch of guys that shared this room, but he was like the most known person, the known male in there, and tends to be the one that comes through and talks to people, I guess.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: But we were doing an EVP and I had my camera on and I was sitting on a bed, and as I get up off the bed, the bed pops and cracks, and so um my brother tags along a lot, just so you know.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: He's he tags along with us because he's jealous.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Wait, wait, wait, you let your brother tag along when he will not let you tag along.
- 21:32SPEAKER_05: I'm learning a lot from him, actually.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: I am but he's been an investigator for 13 years, and there's a lot we can learn from him.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: You're a good sister, yeah.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: I am, I am, and I and he knows it because I'm like, Yeah, you wouldn't do this, but now I'm doing it, so now you tag with me.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: You I do I let him tag along, so but anyway, um he's like, Let's end these EVPs.
- 21:58SPEAKER_02: So I walk over, I grab.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: My recorder up off the chest or whatever I had it on.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: I shut it off.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: He shuts his off.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: And right after that, an EVP comes through on my camera.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: I didn't know it, you know, didn't hear it.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: Was going through evidence, reviewing it.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: And I sat back in my chair going, What is that?
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: Like, what is that?
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: I sent it to the team.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: I'm like, what is this?
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: And I sent it to him.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: I'm like, what is this?
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: And he got it broke down.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: And it actually says, I'm happier in the afterlife.
- 22:37SPEAKER_02: And it literally was so loud in that microphone that I had to be like on top of the camera.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: But and I have it and I I play it for people all the time.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Um, it's just really cool.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: But that's like my most profound thing that I've gotten.
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: And I think because it was my very first EVP I had ever gotten that could legitimately be said it was an EVP.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: I mean I mean everybody gets a whole bunch and they're hard to tell, but when you get those, they call them what class A EVPs.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's special.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, I have a few saved that I'll never get rid of.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: And people at work be like, Oh, why do you do this?
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: or you never catch anything, and then I'll play in that, and they're like, Yeah, I'll never do this.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: I'm like, there's stuff out there.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, we just gotta go find it.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, that's what he told me.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: He goes, That is a class A EVP, dear sister.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: And I was like, sweet, yeah, I've only gotten a few.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: I would actually call class A EVPs out of the I don't know how many places I've done investigations, 30, 40, maybe.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: I've only got maybe two or three class A's, and they're they're they're cool.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: I love EVPs.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: I said, like I was telling Bobby Nacho.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: So it's like both how do you define a class A EVP?
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: You listen to it once, you know what they're saying, you let someone else hear it, and they say the same exact thing.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, you watch all those shows, right?
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, you know, ghost hunters, and they got an EVP, and you're like, I don't know what that says.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: And you might think it says, like, hi, I'm here, and they're like, No, watermelon and tomatoes.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: That's what it says, and they're like, they play it again, and you're like, Oh, yeah, it's watermelon and tomatoes, you know, it's just your mind plays with stuff.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: So when I get something, I always want to play it for other people without telling them what I think it is, right?
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: And that's that's what I do too.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: I let them listen to it.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Um, even when we do evidence, when we get together and do evidence reviews, um that's that's what we do.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: We just we play it and then see what you know they hear.
- 24:57SPEAKER_05: But yeah, what what do you think that sounds like?
- 25:00SPEAKER_05: What do you think they they're saying?
- 25:02SPEAKER_05: You know, it's double check and recheck and have another set of ears, and yeah, yeah.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I got one that we just did from Madison Seminary, and I don't know if I mentioned it when I was on with uh Verona.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: I don't think I did, but I don't want to say what it said yet because I haven't had anybody listen to it yet because we did we did a lot of investigations, we did six and five nights in a row.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: So yeah, don't okay.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna tell everybody out there that's listened, never do that ever.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: Like six places in five nights, and they were all four hours away.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, don't never do that.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: It's not it's cool, but it's not cool, like but we got to go to a lot of cool places that we haven't been before, but spread it out, spread it out.
- 25:50SPEAKER_05: Um that that that would be cool to do, but I get drained so fast that yeah, I was gonna say that paranormal hangover sucks.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I mean the thing is you didn't have time to have a hangover because like we get done at four in the morning, we had an RV, slept just in a parking lot for like three hours, and we're off four hours, four and a half hours to the next place.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: Jeez, and you get there and maybe take an hour nap.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: And I was trying to go over a whole bunch of recordings and videos while we're driving, just so I'm not so back because I do all the review for my team, so I wasn't that far backed up, but it it was a lot.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: But I said we did old old hospital on College Hill, which you know, I don't want to say buculus, but a very cool place I've always wanted to go, and post-town elementary school.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: Um, both places are cool, so very good chance to go hit those up, hit them up.
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: Um what else we got going on here?
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Like, I looked like when I did uh Verona Ghost Chasers, I went through their like Facebook page and finding stuff they did.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: Like I went through your Facebook page, I really don't find anything.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: You can never find well.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: I follow you.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: No, I followed you, but like I was I was scrolling through your whole page.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I like what have they been doing?
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: But yeah, um to to be on it, okay.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: I work part-time, I run paranormal girls, I have a jewelry business, I have a crafting page, so I'm like trying to do all these things all the time, and it's very time consuming.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: So I'm trying, like I said, I'm trying to get more active on the paranormal page so it'll be there and it'll be seen.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, which is crazy.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: But uh, we just did well.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: I did the rest of the team can go because they had Misty has a broken foot right now.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: Kathy had a fundraiser, uh, Tanya was working, but just did Ashmore Estates with Hoosier Paranormal, Potter Paranormal, uh, Ghost Light Paranormal, and um Hoosier.
- 28:09SPEAKER_05: I wish I would have been able to, but yeah.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: So we just did like a oh Southwest Detroit Paranormal.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: We just did a five-team collab at Ashmore Estates this past Sunday night.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: Been going through trying to go through that footage, still trying to get through footage of Fairfield Infirmary.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: Um this year we did what have we done?
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: We did Malvern Manor.
- 28:36SPEAKER_04: Malvern.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: Um, we did Beatty Mansion, we did Malvern in March, Beatty in May.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: We didn't do anything in June because I got married in June, and then I did Fairfield and Ashmore this month.
- 28:51SPEAKER_02: Um, just trying to get everybody together on the same page to schedule something.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like we're trying to work for something in August.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Plus all this footage from everywhere we've gone.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: I know how to put it in like WavePad or um the video part of that.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: And I know like I can put it all in and I can make a three-hour movie, but I don't really want to do that.
- 29:18SPEAKER_02: So I'm trying to learn and learn how to do like clips or like make the shorts, you know, and like condense it down.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Um when and if I ever get time to do that, then I'll actually post more stuff out there.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: Like we have a YouTube page, but I don't have anything on it because I don't have the videos done because I need to learn how to do it so I can get it done.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: Um we also we do also have a TikTok account that I do short videos, um, mainly of places where we go and like photos or like video clips or whatever.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: I'll throw those together um to put that out there.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, 10,000 things going on all the time.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: I haven't even done any crafting since I don't know, like May or whatever.
- 30:11SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of like on a back burner.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: I'm trying to really focus on the paranormal stuff to get content out there.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: Um, and then I'm I just got back in after being two months off on my jewelry to get the jewelry going back again, but um I am trying.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: Like I said, I need to learn how to get all that stuff condensed down or whatever, yeah.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: I mean so I can post it.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: There's programs out there that can help.
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I used to make my own shorts and take me like two hours to do one short.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: Then I finally just broke down and with with a platform that does it for me.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's easy.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, but everything costs money, so right.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're in a paranormal field, we don't make money, we spend money.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: And if you don't believe me, you don't believe me, ask my wife.
- 31:05SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, like you said, trying to find time to get your whole group together is probably the biggest pain.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: Um, I I think we have seven or eight, uh five solid members, and a couple that just come when they can, and I can't get the five together because our work schedules three of us work in a nuclear field, four four of us work in a nuclear field, and we're doing 60 hours plus weeks, and our days we switch nights of days every two weeks, and it's so hard.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: So, like lately, I've just been trying to build this up and build my you know group up.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: So, I've been doing a lot just with one other person.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: Like, hey, you want to go?
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: My niece is getting really involved into it, so I'm like, hey, you want to go do this?
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, hey, you want to go do this?
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like who can go?
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: And no one gets back to me.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: I just go, like, uh, I'll just go.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: So I have one coming up in a few days.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: I'm going back to it's not a very famous place, it's Riders Inn, it's in Painesville, Ohio.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: Um, it's still in 1812, supposedly haunted forever.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: They're kind of just now opening up to let groups in there.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, new owners took it over, so I don't know how long that's gonna last, but I was lucky enough to go back there a couple weeks ago.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: They let me in there, and I was gonna do a solo, but the lady that you know does the paranormal part, and she had a friend there too, and we just ended up talking and investigating together, it was great.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: So I'm going back again and taking some of my team with me, and then we're doing uh I don't know if you guys are Iowa, so Bill Manor and oh yeah, yeah.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: So that place is pretty cool.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: I like that place again.
- 32:56SPEAKER_02: I've heard a lot about Bill.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean I see I've heard people get nothing, I've heard that it's dark and demonic or whatever that people say.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: I didn't get that when I was there.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a lot of activity, but it didn't feel threatening, it was just good activity, so um it was it was cool.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: If you ever get a chance, go there.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna get this out here right now in December.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: I will let you.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: You guys are already in Iowa, so probably not gonna happen, but everywhere that's on up until now, December, I'm having a little Christmas hot investigation at Madison Seminary.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: So if you guys can make it out, make it out.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: But if not, we'll get together sometime too.
- 33:46SPEAKER_05: So Madison Seminary.
- 33:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah, what what dates are you?
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it's it's gonna be December sometime.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't know what dates yet.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: I gotta look at the dates.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: I'm still trying to book other stuff.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: Oh like we're doing Grand Manor with Verona, then I'm gonna book probably Shanley Hotel in New York in September.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: We're gonna go with Verona again, and I'm trying to get Nacho here to book Octagon House and invite me.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: So I know he's on, so I was just looking at it.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: Next year, my team don't know this, so they're gonna find out.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: Well um, but right now we are on a list to do a collab um transallegheny.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: Let's talk about all right, all right.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: Let's talk about this real quick.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: So yeah, all right.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: I I know who's doing it because obviously on Facebook, that's a lot of people.
- 34:52SPEAKER_02: It is, it is a lot of teams.
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, we're on the list, it's not set in stone.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: Um, it might be something to where we play.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: I'm like, yeah, we're not gonna end up doing it just because of that.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: The fact of having so many, even though the buildings are big, there's still you know, parts of contamination or whatever.
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: Um but I mean if we can if we can get down to it, that would actually be really cool because there's a couple other places out there as well.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, and kind of do like a you know, like a mini, a mini trip out of it.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Um or uh th relocation, whatever out of it.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: Um, even if we don't get a go to that, I know there's a lot of other places that we could go to.
- 35:42SPEAKER_05: I know the Sally House was kind of on our bucket list, wasn't it?
- 35:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's booked up for next year though.
- 35:50SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:51SPEAKER_05: I'd love to go there.
- 35:53SPEAKER_05: And then what was it?
- 35:55SPEAKER_05: The um McIntyre Villa.
- 35:57SPEAKER_05: McIntyre, yeah.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: And the Garnet House that uh that I don't know.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: Those those mine.
- 36:05SPEAKER_05: Yeah, the Garnet House was one of my picks, and I just like the idea that wide urban, you know.
- 36:14SPEAKER_05: I'm kind of a big fan of all of that, so yeah.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Well, trans-allegheny, that's probably like you're talking like huge places that do like Mansfield does it, Waverly does it.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: I haven't been to Waverly, but trans, I've been to Mansfield, not a fan of just how they I won't say how they run it, they just jam way too many people in there and it's open.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: Um Trans Allegheny does a great job.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: Now they let they let 40 people in and they do 10 per floor.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Okay, seems like a lot.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: Sorry, um, but it's nine acres of flooring in the main building.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, it is huge.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: You're probably not gonna run into really anybody doing 10 people per floor.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: So if you do go that way, which I would recommend, I think it's like$110 a ticket.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: To do a private, it's around$200 a ticket.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: Because with insurance, you have to have insurance to go there when you do your own private.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm not saying don't do it, but that's just my thoughts on it.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: Um, I would go with just, you know, if you have like, you know, how many people you have, five, and you meet another group that wants to go, just buy 10 tickets and go.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: Then you guys can just tell them that there's 10 of you, and they'll keep you in the same group.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: So you'll have each floor to yourself as two groups, and I think that would work out great.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Like, I looked at running it out, um, 20 people, it costs around 200 bucks a person, which would be that would be awesome if you only had 20 people.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: But if you're going, you know, he had 19 groups listed, and you're talking, what if there's three people each group, you know, 60 people?
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: That's that's a lot.
- 38:11SPEAKER_05: That's a lot, and yeah, it kind of affects like, you know, are you gonna pick up on anything?
- 38:18SPEAKER_05: It's just too many.
- 38:19SPEAKER_05: Maybe they're not gonna, you know, make themselves known, or you know what I mean?
- 38:25SPEAKER_05: Like, you're not gonna get much if it's too much commotion that way.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: Well, and you guys probably been on locations with other people.
- 38:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, Ashmore Estates, I heard you guys don't have too much activity.
- 38:37SPEAKER_02: We did, like, when the night started, we went in there's a like a workroom behind the boiler room, and there was four of us in there, and we actually had a lot of activity um go on in there.
- 38:53SPEAKER_02: Like the tripwire was going crazy, the deadbell would go off.
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: It it got to the point where it was repeatedly like it was just ding ding ding ding ding ding, you know, like until we're like, can you stop?
- 39:09SPEAKER_02: Because it was annoying at that point.
- 39:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Um and then there was another group that went down there behind us, and they only had four in their group, and they said they didn't get anything.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: And it was just it was kind of hit or miss, you know, in the different sections.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: I did go live in one of the rooms where we were getting some activity.
- 39:31SPEAKER_02: Um so I did do that for a little bit, but um I guess there was people in there on Friday night, they said it was they had a lot of activity.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: So um, you know, I would I'm not saying I would never go back again because I probably would because you know, if you go if I ask the team and we went down there as a group, we might have a whole different experience than what I just had being there being parts of the other teams.
- 40:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: I what one of the guys that that was with us um says he's a channeler.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: And um he said that he was being told that they liked the girl with the red hair.
- 40:31SPEAKER_02: I was the only one with red hair in the entire group.
- 40:36SPEAKER_05: You had that at Squirrel Cage too, I think.
- 40:39SPEAKER_05: You remember that?
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, Squirrel Cage and Oscaloosa.
- 40:44SPEAKER_02: They like my red hair, girl with the red hair, striped, but yeah.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, it's always interesting to me how different people um get affected different ways.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, even just go genders, race, everything is it's all it all depends where you're at.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's like what I the Madison's very, I've done Madison 12 times.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: So, like you go upstairs, there's a dark history that happened up there, and I don't usually get mad or you know, yell at spirits, but for some reason, up there, because of what that what the history says the doctor did up there, it it makes me angry.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: So I will call him out.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: Like, come on, dude, like mess with me, because he always liked to mess with women, and as a as a woman going up there, like my niece hates walking back there, you know.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: There's a threshold you walk by, and you know, obviously, I try to push her.
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: I don't physically push her, but I try to convince her, just walk back there.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: I'm right here.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: As soon as she crosses this threshold, she's like, I just she just doesn't like it, and a lot of women are like that up there, so but I think it's you know, you guys are all women, not you guys, you girls are all women, sorry.
- 42:09SPEAKER_01: Um I I think a lot of places that we investigate, and I say this on all my podcasts, that that's huge because think about the places we investigate when women look down upon, right?
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: And they were, you know, even you just go to the 50s, you know, what was the women's job?
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: You go before that, you couldn't vote, you couldn't do anything.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: You're going in there as a strong woman saying, you know, I'm here, what are you gonna do?
- 42:40SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get some responses, right?
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Or you're gonna get a woman's spirit saying, How come we couldn't do this?
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: You know what she gets to walk around here like this and be free?
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: So I think having an all-women's group is awesome.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm sure you guys get a lot more than if when I go solo.
- 43:05SPEAKER_05: I mean, you know, do you feel that way or I get my hair playlist and fingers pressing my arm, you know, um several different investigations that we've been on, and you know, it it doesn't really freak me out, but I'm like, you know, I'll be like, you know, you know, stop touching me, you know, stop you know, and I but yeah, I I I think we definitely feel like that, you know, that maybe they're more open to us as as women, you know, including maybe, or maybe some of the men that you know, they kind of look at us like I don't know, you can pick up things every now and then.
- 44:00SPEAKER_05: And then like they're chauvinistic because they're like you know, why are women doing this?
- 44:08SPEAKER_05: You know, why are you here?
- 44:09SPEAKER_05: Why are you yeah?
- 44:11SPEAKER_05: We've had I think a few incidences like that, you know, where we've picked up some things, you know, where they're saying something, you know, and our so yeah.
- 44:24SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, or they're like, ooh, how much can we mess with these people?
- 44:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: You know, because they're they're girls.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: What can we do to scare them or you know, pick on them or whatever?
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: So investigation-wise, what's your go-to like equipment?
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: I always use my AVP recorder, I have my camera, and then I have uh SV7 square box that we'll do esthods with.
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: Those are the three things I use that that's what I use the most.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: Kathy, what do you use?
- 44:57SPEAKER_05: Pretty pretty much the same, but um I I do have a tripwire that I I really enjoy putting out, you know, and and uh matter of fact, I'd like to get a second one so we can cover a little bit more space.
- 45:12SPEAKER_05: And you know, uh I kind of plan on some other equipment later on down the road that I'm gonna try to pick up and buy, but yeah, pretty pretty much the same.
- 45:24SPEAKER_05: You know, we all have our recorders and everything, so yeah.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: That's what's kind of cool about collabing with other groups because they have different equipment than you have, and you get to try it out and see what works, what doesn't work.
- 45:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, because equipment's not cheap.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're stuck tripwires, deadbells, um, music box.
- 45:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're a few hundred dollars, you know.
- 45:50SPEAKER_02: I was so excited when that guy took out his dead bell because I had seen him.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, and then when it actually worked, I you hear me on the video, I'm like when it first of that.
- 46:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was it was actually really cool.
- 46:08SPEAKER_02: And I was like, uh, there's so much that I want to get, but yeah, it's just so expensive.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, our one front has just got a dad bell.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: Something that I probably should have said way back at the beginning when I was talking about myself is I do also have empath capabilities, um, which really sucks sometimes.
- 46:26SPEAKER_02: Um I feel a lot of emotions.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: And um I do have some Claire Cynthia, I don't even know which which level it is.
- 46:39SPEAKER_02: Um I can hear things, I can feel things, um, I can sense things.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, I appreciate you not bragging about it.
- 46:48SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, no.
- 46:50SPEAKER_02: And then uh we also have a medium on our team, which is Kathy, or not Kathy, sorry, uh Tanya.
- 46:56SPEAKER_02: Tanya.
- 46:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she has medium capabilities.
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: So been trying to work with uh her more on just using that ability, like not using uh any devices or whatever, but solely you know, uh going on that.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: Um, and then uh Misty, we figured out from that first investigation to McPyke that she is a channeler.
- 47:21SPEAKER_02: So that was kind of scary to uh learn about.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: Um we all each have a little bit of difference um and stuff that we can do that we also bring to the table, which I think makes investigations.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think a lot of us have the ability, we're just closed off to it, just like people in paranormal.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: People do not want to believe in a paranormal.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you don't believe in spirits?
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Well, we've seen stuff, but we don't talk about it, or we can explain it, yeah.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: Or you can't explain it, like yeah.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, yeah, there's probably I think everybody has that some sort of sensitivity, empath, they just don't know how to use it or they're scared to use it.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: Um, so it's it's really about opening yourself up to that, and if you're willing to do it, and people like you know that are open to it can help you out through that process too.
- 48:21SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, if you want to, anybody out there that wants to test it, find someone that knows how to, and they will help you through that.
- 48:29SPEAKER_01: Because there's there is a lot of people out there that can do empath, and like do you cry a lot when you see stuff?
- 48:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah, I don't because I'm a man.
- 48:41SPEAKER_05: Depends, it depends, it depends.
- 48:44SPEAKER_05: Um, yeah, depends on what the situation is, what what it was, you know, what it was or what it is, you know.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: Roger said he wore they wore Brun out this weekend.
- 48:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I can see people crying, not know them, not know anything about them, and I'm just like I just feel it, and then I just start, I'm like yeah, like it bothers me.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll say one other thing is I was watching video clips from Ozzie Osbourne's last concert that he just did.
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's rough.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: Video clip I watched, I stared like at his face, like not that you can really tell through video, but like his eyes, whatever, and every video made me cry.
- 49:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:38SPEAKER_02: And I I actually try not to talk about it.
- 49:40SPEAKER_02: I uh spent a lot of time off of Facebook yesterday because everybody's posting about it.
- 49:45SPEAKER_02: And um yeah, it's just like it every single video because I could just see you know what he was feeling, like I could feel what he was feeling and how badly he wanted it, and it it just yeah, it was yeah.
- 50:01SPEAKER_02: I'm done.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: Well, let's talk about it.
- 50:04SPEAKER_05: I had a hard time believing it, and Brenda was like, No, it it's true.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: His death was actually planned.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: People don't know that it was planned, but but this was before I even knew anything about that part of it.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: It was just watching the videos, yeah.
- 50:25SPEAKER_02: And I suppose it could go either way.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean it can.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, I I normally connect with a certain person at a certain time.
- 50:39SPEAKER_02: And then um I'm super observant, like I notice and observe everything.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: Connecting with that, like I can be in a room full of people and I will connect with one person.
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: And then I start feeling what they're feeling, whether it's sad, mad, you know, whatever.
- 51:03SPEAKER_02: So I I just I don't know, mentally connect with it.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't know how it works.
- 51:07SPEAKER_02: I don't know how it works, but I just I connect with them and then I feel what they're feeling.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: And I have to get involved, you know, like turn and start talking to somebody or leave the room or whatever to break that connection.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: Because if I don't, I'll be fixated on them forever.
- 51:30SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 51:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, it's it's emotionally draining, I'll tell you that much.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: It is, but at least you're open to it.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: A lot of people aren't, so yeah.
- 51:41SPEAKER_02: I would actually like to get to open up more just to see where I am at.
- 51:49SPEAKER_02: Like if I do have any abilities beyond being an empath.
- 51:55SPEAKER_02: Um I'm just kind of scared to do it.
- 51:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, it's again, why why do we do the paranormal?
- 52:02SPEAKER_01: Because of the unknown, right?
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: That's the unknown too for you.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: Like, how far down this rabbit hole do I want to go?
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: Like you're you're saying about opening yourself up, and I don't think that's the problem, is how do you close it?
- 52:14SPEAKER_01: I think you gotta be able to control how to break that.
- 52:19SPEAKER_05: Exactly.
- 52:20SPEAKER_01: Once you figure that out, things keep going more and more.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: But if you just open yourself up and not knowing how to close it, like I think you're getting into a bad spot.
- 52:30SPEAKER_01: Not you personally, but people are getting to a bad spot, and right.
- 52:35SPEAKER_05: Usually go outside and get out of the demonic.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: People are always talking about demonic.
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: Um, would you knowingly go into a demonic place?
- 52:48SPEAKER_05: I I honestly the way I feel, I I don't do that.
- 52:57SPEAKER_05: Um, I don't know if I would, you know, maybe get my, you know, get brave enough to do it.
- 53:09SPEAKER_05: I just, you know, getting into something like that, I I you know, for me, I'd rather stare away, you know, and you know, on investigations if you've got something coming through, you know, and they start talking about, you know, they're you know, demon or Satan or something, I tend to say, okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna shut you down right now, you know.
- 53:34SPEAKER_05: I I don't know if I would ever go that route or not.
- 53:39SPEAKER_05: Um being Catholic as well.
- 53:42SPEAKER_05: I I don't know.
- 53:44SPEAKER_05: So I I know that Brenda's brother has done and he's talked, you know, to me and to us about some of his uh experiences, and it's uh you know, it's very interesting to hear what you know he has to say, and so I think that's kind of his his thing.
- 54:09SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm talking like you know there's I mean you're gonna go into places that I think demonics less than like way less than one percent of places you're gonna go into.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think you know these evil dark spirits people are talking about are just asshole spirits.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's there's there's mean people in real life, so why won't they be mean in the afterlife?
- 54:37SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and I yeah, and I know that Brenda's brother has even said that, you know, oh they're not really, and they're just saying that because they want to mess with you, but they're just assholes.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: So, you know, yeah, demonic things get ratings for a lot of people.
- 54:58SPEAKER_01: But would you Brenda, would you normally go into a demonic like someone said there's a demon in the house?
- 55:08SPEAKER_01: Would you go investigate it?
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: With with the ladies on the team, no, solo um I don't know, man.
- 55:22SPEAKER_00: You're right, Roger.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: Quickly.
- 55:25SPEAKER_02: Maybe, maybe not.
- 55:27SPEAKER_02: Like I I would feel, and this is gonna be really funny, you're gonna laugh, but I would I would feel really safe with my brother.
- 55:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because he has performed exorcisms, you know, like he knows how to do that stuff.
- 55:45SPEAKER_02: He is an ordained minister, so I would with him because I know I'm safe.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: You gotta get your brother on sometime.
- 55:54SPEAKER_01: I know, but I'm just gonna ordain.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: Um I want to minister on this show because this is what when I first started doing paranormal, I just did it because everybody's doing it and it was fun.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: Then I got more into it.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: It's the religion part of what people believe.
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: Not just I mean, I think it'd be religion, but what people believe, like Native Americans, um, you know, Catholics, Christians, all the religions, like what do they actually believe the afterworld is, and that's that's what interests me the most in the paranormal world.
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, definitely we're gonna have to hook up and get your brother on too sometime.
- 56:31SPEAKER_05: Yeah, he's he's cool.
- 56:33SPEAKER_05: I learn a lot from him.
- 56:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he doesn't yeah, he doesn't actually preach anywhere or anything like that, but the insight that he's got and the stuff that he's dealt with, um he's very knowledgeable and he would probably actually do it.
- 56:52SPEAKER_02: I told him we were gonna be on the podcast tonight, and he goes, I used to do podcasts.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: He never invited me.
- 56:59SPEAKER_02: Exactly, but you didn't invite me on your podcast.
- 57:03SPEAKER_02: Um but um I am I am actually building up more and more all the time, like so I'm not as scared when I go into locations, and I am more willing to like go sit in this area by myself as long, you know.
- 57:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, they can be like 30 feet away from me or whatever, like I'll hang out to go in and do a solo investigation.
- 57:31SPEAKER_02: I'm not there yet, but I might be there one day.
- 57:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean I'll get some more locations under my belt, and I love solos, like I'm not a drumlin junkie or anything, but I like I did old hospital on College Hill.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: I went by myself for 45 minutes.
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: I didn't do a walkthrough or anything, I just grabbed a camera and went in.
- 57:54SPEAKER_01: Um, I just think that and just kind of yeah, I just want to get a feeling, like I'm not really investigating, I'm just walking around getting a feeling of the place.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: And I always do that with one member if they're willing to do it, to go into a place and just go get that feeling.
- 58:14SPEAKER_01: Like if you go in a room and say this this dark, okay, like you can stop and investigate, do a little EVP, but move on.
- 58:22SPEAKER_01: But make a metal note, make a metal note, we're gonna go back there.
- 58:26SPEAKER_01: And so I always try to send someone in and do it.
- 58:29SPEAKER_01: Um, there's only a couple in my group that would do solos.
- 58:33SPEAKER_01: If there's a creepy basement, I'm in there.
- 58:37SPEAKER_01: I don't know why.
- 58:38SPEAKER_01: I love creepy basements.
- 58:40SPEAKER_01: Um, I hate flashlights, I cannot stand flashlights, and that's that's just me though.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: But there there are times where like I really don't want to do this because it just feels bad, but I convinced myself to do it, you know.
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: I did that at posttown.
- 58:57SPEAKER_01: There was a room down there that just felt heavy, like real heavy.
- 59:00SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I don't want to go in here.
- 59:03SPEAKER_01: I convinced myself to go in there.
- 59:07SPEAKER_01: Roger, creepy basements are my home.
- 59:09SPEAKER_01: I I don't know why, I just love basements.
- 59:11SPEAKER_01: I love creepy basements.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: That's my thing.
- 59:13SPEAKER_01: So my my teammate always tells me that too.
- 59:15SPEAKER_01: They're like, Oh, there's a basement Ryan's down.
- 59:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you'll get used to solos, it's uh it's just about take that one step at a time.
- 59:28SPEAKER_01: You know, you're gonna go in a room, especially being an empath, being like, uh, yeah, okay, maybe just cross cross that threshold and see how you feel.
- 59:37SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 59:38SPEAKER_05: I know with Brenda's brother, like there's been a few, like when when I went with him to different sections, you know, I think it was at Melbourne, um, you know, he's like, you know, why don't you sit in here and you, you know, ask questions, communicate, and he'll go out in the hall.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_05: You know, he's not too far from me.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_05: But, you know, but yeah, so if I need him, you know, I'm like, hey, get back in here.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_05: So, you know, he he started a little bit of that with me, and then uh kind of like um learning to train my eyes in the dark because a lot of times I do kind of like when I start to get really overwhelmed, um, and some of it it's not really the filling of that, it's like, you know, I don't want to trip and fall on something.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_05: So sometimes I'll grab one of those little you know flashlights and I'll say, I kind of need this for a little bit, I need to rely on this.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_05: But yeah, last time he was kind of like, you know, let me, you know, show you how to maybe train your eyes, you know, that you know, you get used to the dark, you know, you can kind of see, you know, and stuff.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_05: So yeah, he's really he's he's good to learn from.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, that's good.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like I've been trying to do more census stuff, like you do SS method, you know, just supposed to you know enhance your senses a little bit, but I've actually been trying to like go to a basement, no flashlight, like I obviously flashlight to get down there because I don't want to fall down the steps and become a spirit and uh get down there and just hit my recorder and put a blindfold on and just sit there and listen.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_01: And man, ask questions here and there.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_01: So it's weird, like because when you're in the pitch dark, anyways, and you can't really see anything, but putting that blindfold on, knowing you can't see anything is different.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_01: But you're gonna hear stuff and be more in tune with stuff.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_01: So stuff like that.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_01: I'm trying out just to see if I get anything else.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: It's it's a neat experience.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_02: Um, have you ever had a blindfold on and then have it get darker?
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_01: I'm actually that's it.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_01: The last I gotta say the last shadow person I saw wasn't with the blindfold, but was at Ross House, and it was pitch black out.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_01: It wasn't black black because had my camera on me, like I was filming, but it was dark in a corner, and it was something darker than dark that walked across.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_01: And of course, the camera's on my ugly mug, you know, and I'm like, obviously, like now you walk across, but stuff like that.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_01: I I like.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_01: Um, I did anesthesia method one time, had a blindfold on, it was dark.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_01: Like, again, you're talking about feelings and sensitives and stuff.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_01: Like, like, no, no one's really gonna believe me besides you, but you know, with the blindfold on, I looked right and I can see a shadow of like this dude just staying there.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, in my mind, I'm like, my eyes are closed.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_01: I have a blindfold on, but I can see this guy standing right here.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_01: I looked away and looked back, and it was still there.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: Like it was that was a weird feeling for me.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_01: Like, why?
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: How can I see this?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_01: So I I just counted off tormental, you know.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe something was there, it felt like it, but okay, we're hour 15 minutes in.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_01: My last one was an hour 47, so I'm gonna try to keep this under an hour 30.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_01: Just uh a little easier for people to watch once we put it on YouTube and everything, because people's attention span nowadays is short.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_01: Anything else you girls want to talk about?
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_01: Wanna do a shout out to all your stuff?
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_02: Shout out to all of our stuff, Facebook stuff.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, paranormal girls, it's g l z paranormal girls on Facebook.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_02: Um we have a TikTok, it's I don't know, they're all pinned on our page.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_02: It's at uh paranormal girls 2024, I think.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_02: Um again, we will have a YouTube channel because I already have it.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_02: I just gotta figure out how to do videos to get stuff uploaded.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's us from a from that's where we're at.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_01: So paranoia girls from Iowa.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: I've been trying to hit came with the idea.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna hit every at least a group in every state.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we have um three of us are from the capital area capital city area, so two from Des Moines, I'm from Ankening, and then we have one that lives like an hour east of here in a little itty bitty town.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_02: Um but yeah, primarily we're out of the Des Moines area.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_01: Roger, I think me and you're gonna go at it during our podcast.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I just got that feeling by watching his videos.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_02: He yeah, Roger's a hoot.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_01: I know, I have a feeling we're gonna go at it a little bit.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be fun though.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_01: I can't wait.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_01: I'm really looking forward to the podcast with Potter Paranormal.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_01: Um, my podcast coming up, so I have Cindy from Roth's house coming up soon.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_01: I have MT Paranormal.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_01: Um, she's from Oklahoma.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, just booked her up.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: Uh again, I'm a little nervous about doing it.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_01: She does have a thousand followers.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_01: I said, come on, we'll get you a thousand followers.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_01: So, everybody out there that's watching, follow MT Paranormal.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_01: Obviously, follow paranormal girls too.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're not up to a thousand yet.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_02: We're getting there, but we're not there yet.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I mean, I actually have I I've been having a lot of people reach out to me, surprisingly.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_01: You guys are my second one for.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_01: T S paranormal.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_01: So I'm getting a little more trouble doing this.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_01: Um, but if you're from a different state, I'll have Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Iowa, Oklahoma all down.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: So you want to come on a show, come on a show.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_01: Um excited about end of this next month.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: I'll have Charlie and Tanya on from Old Hospital on College Hill.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: They own that.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_01: Um try to get them on to see why they bought old college on the hospital home.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_01: And they keep talking about buying more buildings in that town.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_01: So the one thing that in the paranormal world that we forget about are these people that actually buy these places.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_01: And I think a little respect to them because I mean, you guys see it all the time.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_01: Places you go, they rent these places out, and what did what do we do with the money?
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_01: They restore the place.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, trans trans-alleghenia.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's nine acres of flooring plus right ten other outbuildings.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_01: That couldn't be cheap to buy, and they're putting all that money back into it.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that takes someone special to do that.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_01: So I want to get all these owners on, talk about it.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_01: That lets us do what we do.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_02: So that's that's a goal of mine.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_02: One day I will own a haunted property.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we've we've seen a few, but I'll put the money back in to get it restored.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's a couple places.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_01: Your husband will not let you buy a haunted place.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_02: Funny thing about my husband is he would let me buy a haunted location as long as we don't live there.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_04: Okay.

- 1:07:51SPEAKER_05: Uh us girls could uh yeah, definitely it'd be our retreat and our you know, we could open it up and you know, have investigations and yeah, I mean, I would love to be in there part-time, you know.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I'd love to have one because my my group was based off letting people come in and learn how to do this.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_01: Um, because I've done it for years, and not saying I do it the right way, everybody has their own way, but I have the equipment and some knowledge, and it'd be awesome to have a place to people to come in and you know not watch you know some of these other shows and come in and start yelling because that's just disrespectful to the spirit.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_05: So it is, yeah.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah.
