- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Good morning and happy Monday. It's just after six o'clock
- 0:06Speaker 2: and Ricky Sanchez has these three things you need to know.
- 0:09Speaker 3: The Eagles won the Super Bowl last night. Forty to
- 0:12Speaker 3: twenty two. Super Bowl happened last night in New Orleans
- 0:15Speaker 3: with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs matchup.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Chiefs are going for a three peat in Super Bowl wins,
- 0:21Speaker 3: but ultimately the Eagles did win, making it their second
- 0:24Speaker 3: Super Bowl win in franchise history. So congrats to them
- 0:27Speaker 3: and major congrats to the MVP. Jalen Hurts, the Eagles quarterback.
- 0:32Speaker 3: If you watch the game, this totally makes sense because
- 0:35Speaker 3: he deserved this, probably more than anybody else, which makes sense.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I'm really hyped for everybody who is an Eagles fan,
- 0:40Speaker 3: So congrats to you guys. If you're out there listening
- 0:42Speaker 3: right now speaking of the Super Bowl, you may have
- 0:45Speaker 3: stayed up past your bedtime last night. I know I did,
- 0:48Speaker 3: and if you did, then you're going to love to
- 0:50Speaker 3: hear this. A study about University College London and the
- 0:53Speaker 3: University of the Republic in Uruguay found out that naps
- 0:56Speaker 3: are really good for your brain. In fact, regular nappers
- 1:00Speaker 3: have healthier brains that age more slowly because of napping
- 1:03Speaker 3: and the fact that it can slow down brain shrinkage,
- 1:06Speaker 3: which typically starts around age forty. Study also found that
- 1:09Speaker 3: people who take naps have brains that appear to be
- 1:11Speaker 3: six and a half years younger than those who don't.
- 1:14Speaker 3: So take a nap today, if you can, if you can,
- 1:17Speaker 3: if you have the time, slip that in there. And
- 1:20Speaker 3: Mount Juliet, they are getting a new action park. This
- 1:23Speaker 3: looks so cool, Zach, you sent this to me.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I want to go so bad.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Slick City Action Park is the first ever indoor slide
- 1:30Speaker 3: in air court park and they submitted plans to Saint
- 1:35Speaker 3: They submitted plans to Mount Juliet Planning Commission to open
- 1:39Speaker 3: one right by the Costco.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I'm thrilled for this because it looks like an adult playground.
- 1:44Speaker 3: That's pretty much what it looks like. They are saying
- 1:46Speaker 3: that this is for people of all ages, so kids, adults,
- 1:49Speaker 3: big family plays. I'll let you know when they announce
- 1:51Speaker 3: their plan to actually open. Once they have agreed to
- 1:54Speaker 3: the plans and everything's set in motion, I'll keep you posted.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Americy Sanchez And those are the three things you need
- 1:59Speaker 3: to know. You know, Kevin is out today. Just heads up,
- 2:02Speaker 3: he will be out all week long. He is going
- 2:05Speaker 3: to get into surgery soon for his cybrid cancer.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so all of our positive vibes going towards keV
- 2:10Speaker 2: Dog today.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning, one.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Five the River, the first caller of the day on
- 2:19Speaker 3: one O seven five the River Today is gonna be
- 2:20Speaker 3: a fun one. It's a secret show. We can't tell
- 2:22Speaker 3: you who it's for just yet. We hate doing that
- 2:25Speaker 3: to you.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I love it. Secret secrets are so fun because we
- 2:29Speaker 2: can't tell anyone.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Okay, that's not how the rhyme goes. What if you
- 2:32Speaker 3: want to be the first caller of the day, call
- 2:34Speaker 3: us right now six one five seven through seven nine,
- 2:36Speaker 3: one oh seven.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 2:41Speaker 5: and Meno in the Morning on one O seven five
- 2:43Speaker 5: The River.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Christina and Lebanon, Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 2:47Speaker 3: How's your Monday morning going?
- 2:48Speaker 1: I'm pretty good.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So far, so far, so good. Did you do anything
- 2:52Speaker 2: fun over the weekend?
- 2:53Speaker 6: We played a lot of family game.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Oh that's sweet. How many kiddos do you have.
- 2:58Speaker 6: I have two teenage girls.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And they still like you. That's impressive.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I'll pick the win where I can get it, preach. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 3: you know, sometimes you just go through those phases as teenagers.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Everybody kind of has that phase where your parents just
- 3:14Speaker 3: aren't as cool anymore, but then you come back to
- 3:15Speaker 3: them every time, every time. Well, Christina, you are the
- 3:19Speaker 3: first caller of the day on one of seventy five
- 3:21Speaker 3: the River. Congratulations. We can't tell you what you want
- 3:26Speaker 3: just yet because it's still a secret show. They like
- 3:29Speaker 3: don't announce until later today, so then you'll know what
- 3:31Speaker 3: it is, okay, And.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You sound nervous about it.
- 3:37Speaker 6: Well, I'm just not sure when I'll find out. I'm
- 3:39Speaker 6: just kind of excited.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You will find out as soon as we know because
- 3:43Speaker 2: our bros. Doesn't tell us anything because he knows that
- 3:45Speaker 2: we will let this secret out.
- 3:47Speaker 6: That's fair, Yeah, he knows that.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Like, we'll feel bad because all you would have to do,
- 3:51Speaker 3: Christina is be like, oh, I just really want to
- 3:53Speaker 3: know what it is and be like, okay, it's this,
- 3:54Speaker 3: and then we would ruin everything.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Facts We'll hang on the line for us. We're gonna
- 4:00Speaker 2: grab some more information from you. Congratulations, you got to
- 4:03Speaker 2: take us to the Secret Show for being the first
- 4:04Speaker 2: caller of the day today.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning on one O
- 4:12Speaker 1: seven five The River.
- 4:13Speaker 3: One O seven five The River. I have a proposition.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Okay, what kind of proposition.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I have an idea of what I think is going
- 4:22Speaker 3: to help make your relationship with your best friend even
- 4:26Speaker 3: better than before.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Oh like not like wine and pizza night.
- 4:30Speaker 3: No, no, no, And it involves you, Zach, something that we
- 4:32Speaker 3: did together that I think has just really built our
- 4:36Speaker 3: relationship to make it even better.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Okay, we'll give us three minutes and then Ricky's going
- 4:40Speaker 2: to break it down on how to make your friendship
- 4:41Speaker 2: with your bff even better.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 4:47Speaker 5: and Meno in the Morning on one O seven five
- 4:49Speaker 5: The River.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I think I have officially figured out how to strengthen
- 4:53Speaker 3: your best friendship.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I am so interested on what you have to say.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Mannon in the Morning on one
- 4:59Speaker 3: O seven five The River. It involves you, so I'm
- 5:01Speaker 3: like shocked that you haven't already picked up on this.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Well, this is why I'm terrified, because I didn't know
- 5:06Speaker 2: what you were going to talk about. And you say
- 5:07Speaker 2: it has to do with you, and I'm like, I
- 5:09Speaker 2: do a lot of really dumb things.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, but like it doesn't have to do
- 5:13Speaker 3: anything with that. It has more to do with an
- 5:16Speaker 3: experience that we had together. Okay, I went to your
- 5:20Speaker 3: work party, your other job, because you are a real
- 5:22Speaker 3: estate agent as well, and I went to a work
- 5:24Speaker 3: party with you. It was like their award ceremony gala
- 5:27Speaker 3: type thing.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It was fun, it was it put shack when we
- 5:29Speaker 2: had a delightful time.
- 5:30Speaker 3: We did, and it just it helped me understand your
- 5:34Speaker 3: life even more than I already do. We spend so
- 5:37Speaker 3: much time together, Zach, but I don't know some of
- 5:40Speaker 3: the people that you bring up from your other job.
- 5:43Speaker 3: So being there and experiencing that, I now got to
- 5:46Speaker 3: put all of like the pieces of the puzzle together
- 5:50Speaker 3: to really understand what a whole other side of your
- 5:52Speaker 3: life is like that I've never experienced.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, that makes a lot of sense. Like
- 5:56Speaker 2: if I were honestly even like your family, if I
- 5:59Speaker 2: were to go to your fami family, then I would
- 6:00Speaker 2: know like, oh, you're talking about cousin Jim. Now I
- 6:02Speaker 2: know cousin Jim exactly.
- 6:04Speaker 3: So I think the best way to strengthen your best
- 6:07Speaker 3: friendship is to experience their job with them.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I'm so glad you got to witness all of the
- 6:12Speaker 2: other lunatics that I work with.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I don't know how other people can do that necessarily.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I guess like if they do have a work party,
- 6:18Speaker 3: they could bring them as a plus one, or.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Like what if we sign a bill a bring your
- 6:22Speaker 2: friend to work day?
- 6:23Speaker 3: I love. This is what I was gonna say. We
- 6:24Speaker 3: should do a petition of like the option to bring
- 6:27Speaker 3: your best friend to work for a day so they
- 6:29Speaker 3: can like shadow you in a way.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Change dot org. Hate to see me coming because we're
- 6:34Speaker 2: starting a petition.
- 6:35Speaker 3: It really did just open my eyes. I also need
- 6:38Speaker 3: to say, like it was wild to experience a work
- 6:41Speaker 3: party or a work event that full Fledge just had
- 6:44Speaker 3: open bar, no tickets or anything. I was like, Oh,
- 6:48Speaker 3: this is gonna be interesting. It was interesting.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It's pretty fancy.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it was very fancy. All these beautiful awards. I
- 6:54Speaker 3: was like, this is a very nice.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Especially when the co workers have the liquid courage in them,
- 6:59Speaker 2: then you get to know them even better. So you
- 7:01Speaker 2: saw all sides of everybody.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I really did, I really did. And you're playing punchhack,
- 7:06Speaker 3: so you're playing mini golf and everybody's competitive. It was.
- 7:09Speaker 3: It was a time I suggest everybody go do it
- 7:11Speaker 3: with their best friend.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Okay, I actually ten out of ten recommend and agree
- 7:15Speaker 2: with this one. Thank you for once I agree with you.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Don't get used to it.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Zach and Menno in the morning on the River. Three
- 7:26Speaker 1: days you need to know.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Good morning and happy Monday. It's a little bit after
- 7:31Speaker 2: seven o'clock. Thank you so much for starting good morning
- 7:33Speaker 2: with us. Right now, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 7:36Speaker 4: You need to know.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I got some of the best moments from Kendrick Lamar's
- 7:38Speaker 3: halftime show that everyone's talking about. See it today just
- 7:41Speaker 3: in case you missed the show. But so want to
- 7:43Speaker 3: be part of the combos at the office. You know
- 7:44Speaker 3: what I mean. I got you, So here are some
- 7:46Speaker 3: of the things that people are focusing on. He teased
- 7:48Speaker 3: the crowd and viewers by making us wonder if he
- 7:50Speaker 3: would actually play not like us, by saying, I quote,
- 7:54Speaker 3: I want to perform their favorite song, but you know
- 7:56Speaker 3: they love to sue me, which was a dig at.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Drake did a few of those throughout the show. Another big,
- 8:03Speaker 3: big one was looking straight at the camera and saying, hey, Drake,
- 8:08Speaker 3: I ough, the petty is wild right now. I appreciated
- 8:13Speaker 3: that one. Samuel L. Jackson played Uncle Sam with scenes
- 8:16Speaker 3: in between some of the songs Sizzy did perform with him.
- 8:19Speaker 3: There was also a Serena Williams cameo she danced on stage,
- 8:23Speaker 3: which was also a daygete Drake, And like most half
- 8:26Speaker 3: time performances, the audience online is split. Some people loved it,
- 8:30Speaker 3: others hated it. This happens every single year, no matter
- 8:33Speaker 3: who it is that's going to perform, because everybody has
- 8:36Speaker 3: different tastes in music and everybody has something to say,
- 8:38Speaker 3: so there's a split down the middle. I will say
- 8:41Speaker 3: Kendrick Lamark Curley has the number one album GNX and
- 8:44Speaker 3: the number one song Not Like Us on the US
- 8:46Speaker 3: Apple Music charts following the super Bowl today, so he's
- 8:50Speaker 3: doing pretty well this morning. I'm sure he's feeling real good.
- 8:53Speaker 2: He's not sad. I'm sorry for him.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I am happy for him. I thought it was great.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Tennessee lawmakers are trying again to push for minimum to
- 9:00Speaker 3: go up to twenty dollars. Right now, the minimum wage
- 9:03Speaker 3: sits at seven dollars and twenty five cents, which is
- 9:05Speaker 3: the federal minimum wage across the country. The bill's sponsor,
- 9:08Speaker 3: Representative Justin Pearson, understands that this would be the highest
- 9:12Speaker 3: in the country, but he says that Tennessee should be
- 9:14Speaker 3: a leader in livable wages. And for those of you
- 9:17Speaker 3: who are concerned about the minimum wage going up, maybe
- 9:19Speaker 3: you own a business and you're like, I don't know
- 9:21Speaker 3: if I can afford for the minimum wage to go up.
- 9:23Speaker 3: He did say that he wants to start at twenty,
- 9:26Speaker 3: but he's willing to compromise on just how much they
- 9:28Speaker 3: raise it. The end goal here is to raise it
- 9:31Speaker 3: somewhat to make it more livable for everybody. And Trader
- 9:35Speaker 3: Joe's and Costco are limiting egg purchases. If you've gone
- 9:38Speaker 3: to the supermarket recently, you already know this, and it's
- 9:41Speaker 3: already started now. It's pretty much everywhere, though. Both of
- 9:44Speaker 3: these supermarkets in particular now have signs restricting shoppers to
- 9:48Speaker 3: just one or three dozen, depending on the store and
- 9:51Speaker 3: where they're at. This shortage is all part of the
- 9:54Speaker 3: avian flu outbreak that's wiped out around eight percent of
- 9:57Speaker 3: egg laying hens across the country. Some places like Awful
- 10:00Speaker 3: House we talked about this last last week, they have
- 10:02Speaker 3: already announced an egg surcharge of fifty cents for every
- 10:05Speaker 3: egg in your meal. A lot of places are going
- 10:08Speaker 3: to start doing these things as it doesn't look like
- 10:09Speaker 3: there's any end in sight for the amount of price
- 10:13Speaker 3: hiking for these eggs. Yes, it hurt me to just
- 10:16Speaker 3: say that I eat eggs every morning, so it's really
- 10:18Speaker 3: just not fun for me. I'm Marique Sanchez and those
- 10:21Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on one seven five, the.
- 10:28Speaker 3: River Zach Party said that this is going to be
- 10:30Speaker 3: a good one. Welcome to Zach's fax. On one of
- 10:32Speaker 3: seven five the River.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well, because I was watching the Super Bowl last night,
- 10:35Speaker 2: clearly I had to google the question that everybody was asking,
- 10:38Speaker 2: how much do they get paid if they win the
- 10:41Speaker 2: Super Bowl?
- 10:42Speaker 3: Oh, each player.
- 10:43Speaker 2: On the winning team gets a bonus check of one
- 10:46Speaker 2: hundred and seventy one thousand dollars if they win the
- 10:48Speaker 2: Super Bowl? Wow, I know what are they going to
- 10:51Speaker 2: spend it on?
- 10:53Speaker 3: One hundred and seventy one thousand.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Dollars per person on the team?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Per person? Yeah for one game? Yeah wow. I'm never
- 11:01Speaker 3: gonna see that amount of money ever in my lifetime.
- 11:02Speaker 3: So that is insane. Thank you for that fact, Zach.
- 11:05Speaker 2: That's your fact of the day.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning on.
- 11:12Speaker 3: One oh seven five of the River. It's Ricky, Zach
- 11:14Speaker 3: and Mano in the Morning. Mano's out right now. He
- 11:18Speaker 3: is getting surgery for his thyroid cancer.
- 11:20Speaker 2: As we speak.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Yes, so all of our thoughts are and prayers are
- 11:23Speaker 3: going towards the entire Mano family right now and Kevin
- 11:26Speaker 3: for a speedy recovery. He'll be out all week, So
- 11:28Speaker 3: just a heads up with that. Well, we got to
- 11:29Speaker 3: talk about the Super Bowl. Okay, we don't know the
- 11:31Speaker 3: actual number just yet, but it was expected that a
- 11:34Speaker 3: record breaking one point three nine billion dollars would be
- 11:38Speaker 3: spent on Super Bowl bets this year.
- 11:41Speaker 2: That is absolutely insane. Like they bet on the national anthem,
- 11:44Speaker 2: will it go over under one hundred and twenty seconds?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Like all of these different things.
- 11:48Speaker 3: The prop bets are my favorite ones.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, the fun one.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Obviously, there are people that bet on the actual scores
- 11:53Speaker 3: and stuff like that. We want to know what you
- 11:56Speaker 3: bet on. Maybe you bought a square at work, or
- 11:58Speaker 3: maybe you you were gonna go all out. Who knows?
- 12:01Speaker 3: How much did you win or lose? We want to
- 12:03Speaker 3: know all the details because Zach and I don't bet
- 12:05Speaker 3: very often. Yeah, we're not very good at it. We
- 12:08Speaker 3: don't have good luck.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Give us the tea call us right now. It is
- 12:10Speaker 2: six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 12:13Speaker 2: What did you bet on? And did you win or lose?
- 12:16Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Zach, and Menno In the morning on the River.
- 12:22Speaker 3: It was expected that a record breaking one point thirty
- 12:25Speaker 3: nine billion dollars would be spent on Super Bowl bets
- 12:28Speaker 3: this year. It's one of seven five the River. We
- 12:31Speaker 3: wanted to know how much you bet on the Super Bowl?
- 12:34Speaker 3: Did you win? Did you lose? Where were we at?
- 12:36Speaker 2: I feel like everybody that I know was betting on something,
- 12:39Speaker 2: But Ricky and I don't bet.
- 12:41Speaker 3: We are too broke and we just don't have any
- 12:43Speaker 3: good luck.
- 12:43Speaker 2: We don't have good luck at all.
- 12:45Speaker 3: But we have our friend Battle. He does mornings down
- 12:48Speaker 3: the Hallway on one of five nine in the Rock,
- 12:49Speaker 3: and he's also on one of seven five the River
- 12:51Speaker 3: on Sundays.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah, what's some guys, Good morning the morning?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Some prop bets.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I did make some prop bets last night.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Okay, how much did you spend on prop bets?
- 12:58Speaker 2: About one hundred and fifty blucks?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Take?
- 13:00Speaker 2: What were the ones that you bet on?
- 13:03Speaker 7: I bet on Travis Kelce anytime touchdown. I bet on
- 13:07Speaker 7: Saquon Barkley anytime touchdown, Jalen Hurts any time touchdown.
- 13:11Speaker 2: But I did like some.
- 13:12Speaker 7: Other ones of like what was the color of gatorade
- 13:15Speaker 7: that they were gonna pounce on?
- 13:17Speaker 4: Yes?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Those Yes? So you spend one hundred and fifty bucks?
- 13:20Speaker 2: How much did you win or lose? Tell us the truth?
- 13:25Speaker 2: I lost.
- 13:26Speaker 7: Well, I got seventy five bucks back, so I lost
- 13:28Speaker 7: seven times.
- 13:28Speaker 2: So you know, not too terribly bad, right on little game.
- 13:33Speaker 2: At least you got half of it back. Yeah, not bad.
- 13:36Speaker 3: It wasn't bad. But I'd be so mad if I
- 13:38Speaker 3: lost seventy five. I don't cry.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I would not have shown up today. I would have
- 13:42Speaker 2: been I'm crying.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Like I'm just thinking about the things I could do
- 13:45Speaker 3: with seventy five dollars.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Yeah, like I don't know, buy one carton of eggs.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that true. Yes, but I mean in the
- 13:52Speaker 3: grand scheme, it's really not that bad.
- 13:54Speaker 7: Yeah, And I play it smart, like I'm not going
- 13:56Speaker 7: out here dropping like nine hundred dollars on a bet slip.
- 13:59Speaker 7: Like I know my limits and it's like five to
- 14:01Speaker 7: ten dollars per best.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I'll take. Your wife will murder, Oh.
- 14:05Speaker 2: She'll absolutely yes. She sees my bank account so she
- 14:08Speaker 2: knows she does. I will say, there's some fun prop
- 14:11Speaker 2: bet so shout out to you. If you bet on
- 14:13Speaker 2: the national anthem, will it be under or over one
- 14:15Speaker 2: hundred and twenty seconds? It was under? It was right
- 14:18Speaker 2: at one minute and fifty nine seconds.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay, right.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Under coin toss. If you bet on that, it was tails.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So if you woke up this morning you haven't checked yet,
- 14:27Speaker 2: you might have won some money last night.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Congratulations to you.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you did, I mean, I'm just saying,
- 14:33Speaker 2: we will take a couple of dollars.
- 14:35Speaker 3: If you want to share with us what you bet on,
- 14:37Speaker 3: whether you won or lost, call us right, now six, one, five,
- 14:40Speaker 3: seven through seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Five the River, Shauna and Kingston Springs. You are playing
- 14:53Speaker 3: for Nightly tickets. They're playing at the Ryeman on May thirtieth.
- 14:56Speaker 3: We are so excited for them. They put on a
- 14:58Speaker 3: great show.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Shawna, I have a question for you. Do you feel
- 15:02Speaker 2: ready with topical trivia? Like, do you think you're up
- 15:04Speaker 2: to date on things?
- 15:07Speaker 3: I think I can do it all right.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Let's try it, Shawna and Kings and Springs. Let's play
- 15:12Speaker 2: for those Nightly tickets.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Ricky, what's the name of the Weekend's latest album that
- 15:17Speaker 3: just came out?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Ooh, it's all.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Hurry up tomorrow.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you pulled that out.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Off to a great start. Okay, you only need to
- 15:30Speaker 3: get one more right to get these tickets.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Who won MVP during the Super Bowl last night?
- 15:38Speaker 4: Oh it was.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yes Na Shanna. Wow, two for two Shawna. Congratulations, you
- 15:47Speaker 2: just scott tickets to go see Nightly at the Rhyman
- 15:50Speaker 2: coming up on May thirtieth.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Awesome, thank you so much.
- 15:54Speaker 3: You are so welcome. Wow, that was so much faster
- 15:56Speaker 3: than I expected it to be. Now I know how
- 15:58Speaker 3: Kevin feels. Yeah, congratulations, Love. We're going to put you
- 16:04Speaker 3: on hold so we can get all your information. Make
- 16:06Speaker 3: sure you get these tickets, and we hope this is
- 16:08Speaker 3: a great way to start your day.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Great.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the River.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Three days you need to know.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning, good morning. It's happy Monday. We
- 16:24Speaker 2: made it through Super Bowl Sunday right after eight o'clock,
- 16:26Speaker 2: and Ricky Sanchez has us three things that you need
- 16:28Speaker 2: to know.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Chapel Roone started a donation train for up and coming artists.
- 16:34Speaker 3: So an article was released critiquing her acceptance speech at
- 16:38Speaker 3: the Grammys, where she called for record labels to care
- 16:41Speaker 3: for their up and coming artists with better health insurance
- 16:43Speaker 3: and a livable wage. So this specific person who wrote
- 16:47Speaker 3: this told her to put her money where her mouth is,
- 16:49Speaker 3: so she did that. She donated twenty five thousand dollars
- 16:52Speaker 3: to Backline Care. They help mental health and wellness for artists.
- 16:57Speaker 3: She posts the receipts of her donation to our Instagram
- 17:00Speaker 3: story saying, quote, random dudes are allowed to criticize my
- 17:03Speaker 3: Grammy speech, but they best put their money where their
- 17:05Speaker 3: mouth is otherwise move out of the way. She also said, fans,
- 17:10Speaker 3: y'all don't have to donate a penny to this. This
- 17:13Speaker 3: is one of the many opportunities for the industry powers
- 17:16Speaker 3: to show up for artists. Noah Khan and Charlie XCX
- 17:19Speaker 3: have now followed her lead, so hopefully more and more
- 17:21Speaker 3: people do the same thing. Obviously, we love Chapel here
- 17:24Speaker 3: on one O seven five of the River, and we
- 17:26Speaker 3: love that she's sticking up for herself and for her
- 17:28Speaker 3: fellow artists. Assembly Food Hall is getting a new restaurant.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Radish Kitchen, known for their fast casual grain bowls, salads
- 17:36Speaker 3: and raps are all going to be available downtown very soon.
- 17:39Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 17:40Speaker 3: They officially open in March, and this will be their
- 17:42Speaker 3: fourth location, joining spots in West and East Nashville as
- 17:45Speaker 3: well as Franklin. So keep your eye out for that
- 17:48Speaker 3: in March. And millions of people are really late for
- 17:52Speaker 3: work right now as they are on their way to
- 17:55Speaker 3: work after a very sleepy morning the day after the
- 17:57Speaker 3: Super Bowl. According to the ukg a human resource and
- 18:01Speaker 3: workforce management service, and estimated twenty two point six million
- 18:05Speaker 3: Americans planned to take today off to recover from the
- 18:08Speaker 3: super Bowl last night, which is up from sixteen point
- 18:11Speaker 3: one million last year. Twelve point nine million said in
- 18:14Speaker 3: the survey that they will probably go into work late.
- 18:16Speaker 3: So if you are late for work right now and
- 18:18Speaker 3: you're frantic, thank you for being here and for listening
- 18:20Speaker 3: to us. We're going to try to make this as
- 18:22Speaker 3: smooth and chill as possible.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna wake you up after a reughnight.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Also, forty three percent of employed Americans think that the
- 18:28Speaker 3: day after the super Bowl today, the Monday after, should
- 18:31Speaker 3: be a national holiday. We talk about this every year.
- 18:34Speaker 4: We do.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Has yet to happen, So fingers crossed that we just
- 18:37Speaker 3: get with the program soon.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Pull it together people.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 18:41Speaker 3: need to know.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
- 18:48Speaker 3: What are some weird things that your parents did while cooking?
- 18:52Speaker 3: It's one of seven five of the river. I was
- 18:54Speaker 3: thinking about this the other day because my dad had
- 18:57Speaker 3: one specific dish that he could make, and that was it.
- 19:00Speaker 2: What was it?
- 19:01Speaker 3: It was? This is gonna make you laugh. It was
- 19:03Speaker 3: pasta with special sauce. And it wasn't until high school
- 19:07Speaker 3: that I learned that the special sauce was just oil, vinegar, garlic, salt,
- 19:10Speaker 3: and pepper.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Oh that sounds good though, But.
- 19:13Speaker 3: It was delicious and we loved it, and we would
- 19:15Speaker 3: freak out. We'd get so excited to have Dad's pasta
- 19:18Speaker 3: with special sauce. It wasn't that crazy of a sauce.
- 19:21Speaker 2: No, It's basically pasta salad.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Like, yes, but what a weird parenting move. I mean
- 19:26Speaker 3: it worked, but like had be thinking if there's anything
- 19:29Speaker 3: weird that your parents did maybe while cooking, or special
- 19:32Speaker 3: dish that they made, so call us to join the conversation.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Six one five, seven, three seven nine one seven.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Weird things your parents do while cooking or the weird
- 19:47Speaker 3: dishes that they make. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in
- 19:50Speaker 3: the Morning on one oh seven five of the River.
- 19:52Speaker 3: That's what we're getting into right now, all courtesy of
- 19:55Speaker 3: my dad with his special sauce for his pasta. Okay,
- 19:59Speaker 3: Amanda Andboro tell us the weird thing your parents did
- 20:02Speaker 3: while cooking.
- 20:05Speaker 6: So my mom made this dish that he called tuna crap.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Oh what is that?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:15Speaker 6: It was literally it was literally a can of sweet
- 20:18Speaker 6: of fish, cream of chicken, cream of celery, mayonnaise, and milk,
- 20:25Speaker 6: and we should it on top of either rice or coats.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That sounds like soup like that is so much creaminess
- 20:31Speaker 2: going on. It was like, it doesn't sound bad. It
- 20:37Speaker 2: just sounds like so creamy with all of the different
- 20:39Speaker 2: soups and then milk like it sounds like cereal.
- 20:43Speaker 6: It was like a tuna gravy.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Okay, no, Amanda, no no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 20:50Speaker 3: that just.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Amanda. Do you have kids now?
- 20:55Speaker 6: I do?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Do you ever make this meal for your kids?
- 20:58Speaker 6: I do? And my daughter will be used it when
- 21:00Speaker 6: she comes back from college.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I am mind blowing right now.
- 21:10Speaker 6: Yeah, and no reason why because moms and a bunch
- 21:13Speaker 6: of craps in it.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I mean that's true. But next time you make it,
- 21:16Speaker 2: please invite us because I will definitely try it.
- 21:19Speaker 6: I don't know if I'll try it. You got it.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I'll be there for moral support. We appreciate you.
- 21:27Speaker 5: You're welcome to b b.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm still I'm gonna reel about that
- 21:32Speaker 3: forever at this point, but we had some other answers.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I posted this up at one seven five the River's
- 21:38Speaker 3: Instagram page and the stories. Some other people responded, and
- 21:41Speaker 3: they said, my dad would wash his chicken in the
- 21:45Speaker 3: sink and then let it dry in the dish rack.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That is absolutely putrid AND's so bad, like the bacteria
- 21:52Speaker 2: is everywhere. I will say one response that we got
- 21:55Speaker 2: on our Instagram at one of seven five the River
- 21:57Speaker 2: is probably my favorite. They said, my mom use the
- 22:00Speaker 2: ruler to measure her green beans every single time because
- 22:03Speaker 2: the recipe said one inch cuts, so she would literally
- 22:06Speaker 2: measure it one inch every single task. Sweet, It's really sweet, Bac.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Did your mom do any weird things while cooking?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Yo, my mom, I wouldn't say it's weird. She would
- 22:16Speaker 2: sing like while she's in the kitchen and cooking, but
- 22:18Speaker 2: she would always sing the same song over and over.
- 22:21Speaker 3: What song?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Oh may sing? Gray?
- 22:25Speaker 3: You sing it all the time randomly?
- 22:27Speaker 2: Probably so, but like I would literally I know breakfast
- 22:30Speaker 2: was over if she sang it three times. That's how
- 22:32Speaker 2: long it would take for breakfast to be like ready.
- 22:34Speaker 3: That's actually kind of adorable. When do you say it
- 22:37Speaker 3: like that?
- 22:37Speaker 2: But like why amazing Grace of all songs, she just.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Really likes it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I guess apparently you have.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Some weird cooking habits that your parents did that you
- 22:46Speaker 3: want to share with us. Call us right now six
- 22:48Speaker 3: one five seven through seven nine one oh seven.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning on the River.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Zach was just going on a whole ranch about how
- 22:59Speaker 3: scary pregnant was in r to him, and this daily
- 23:02Speaker 3: double tap that we're about to play you on one
- 23:03Speaker 3: O seven five of the River is just going to
- 23:05Speaker 3: feed into that fear that you have. Okay, she has
- 23:08Speaker 3: nothing but revenge on her mind here, and honestly I
- 23:12Speaker 3: respect it.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Okay, your daily devil tap, Ricky found Let's see what
- 23:17Speaker 2: it is.
- 23:17Speaker 8: I'm nine months pregnant. My husband just pissed me off.
- 23:19Speaker 8: So you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna have
- 23:22Speaker 8: my baby tomorrow. I'm gonna have my baby on the
- 23:25Speaker 8: day of the Super Bowl, just to piss him off
- 23:28Speaker 8: the way he pissed me off. I'm having my baby tomorrow.
- 23:30Speaker 8: I'm having a Super Bowl baby. I really did try,
- 23:33Speaker 8: like I genuinely tried. This was not I did everything.
- 23:36Speaker 8: I ate the hot stuff, I walked the curb, I
- 23:39Speaker 8: did all that I could. I couldn't get this baby out.
- 23:41Speaker 8: This baby is just as stubborn as her father.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I prayed all night for it not to happen. Love
- 23:47Speaker 2: that she tried to do that, like the petty. It's
- 23:49Speaker 2: so real, so hard,
