- 0:55Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, what a crazy last couple days I've had.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I have a great show for you today. I've got
- 1:08Speaker 2: Justin Martindale coming in a little bit, but I wanted
- 1:11Speaker 2: to cover more of what I have discovered about the
- 1:15Speaker 2: Balenciaga fallout. Thank you for all the great response that
- 1:19Speaker 2: I got from Tuesday's show with Lala Kent. If you've
- 1:22Speaker 2: not seen that, we talk about it. A lot of
- 1:25Speaker 2: people are coming back and still saying, why is the
- 1:28Speaker 2: mainstream media not talking about this. My sister just watched
- 1:31Speaker 2: all of E! News last night. Not a mention of it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: As you know, I'm a big TikTok person and TikTok
- 1:39Speaker 2: knows what I'm into. So they're sending me a lot
- 1:41Speaker 2: of creators that are going deep dive on this and
- 1:44Speaker 2: they are discovering so much. And I want to share
- 1:47Speaker 2: with you it because I'm I believe it should be
- 1:50Speaker 2: discussed and you can make up your own conclusions of
- 1:53Speaker 2: what you think it is. I think it's extremely interesting
- 1:56Speaker 2: and I think it's extremely interesting how everything has gone down.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So let me catch you up. So Kim and Kanye
- 2:03Speaker 2: announced yesterday on TMZ that their divorce is finally settled
- 2:08Speaker 2: and that they will have joint custody, but she will
- 2:10Speaker 2: have the kids the majority of the time. And if one,
- 2:13Speaker 2: if they can't decide on something, Or if one person
- 2:16Speaker 2: doesn't make it to mediation, she will have the right
- 2:19Speaker 2: to make that decision by herself. She is also entitled
- 2:22Speaker 2: to $ 200, 000 a month of child support from Kanye, which
- 2:26Speaker 2: will be wired into her account, and they share expenses
- 2:29Speaker 2: of private school. So hopefully they're off to a better start.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Because when I look back on their relationship and how
- 2:37Speaker 2: it relates to fashion, I think what really is going
- 2:41Speaker 2: on here is that I believe Kim... who is getting
- 2:44Speaker 2: a lot of backlash for the way she is responding
- 2:49Speaker 2: to her relationship with Balenciaga. She made a statement and
- 2:54Speaker 2: she said, I'm going to reevaluate my relationship with them.
- 2:58Speaker 2: They said they don't know how this happened. It'll never
- 3:01Speaker 2: happen again. But what we've discovered is that this really
- 3:04Speaker 2: has kind of been a big part of Balenciaga for
- 3:07Speaker 2: quite a while now, a few years now. And not
- 3:10Speaker 2: until this tweet, which makes me also wonder, this tweet
- 3:14Speaker 2: that originally brought up the fact that this ad with
- 3:19Speaker 2: these kids with the bondage teddy bears and then, of course,
- 3:23Speaker 2: the ad with the purse on top of the Supreme
- 3:27Speaker 2: Court case with the argument of why— They don't want
- 3:32Speaker 2: to call it child corn anymore. I guess we have
- 3:34Speaker 2: to say that. Otherwise, you won't be able to see
- 3:36Speaker 2: this video. But being that anything with children that might
- 3:42Speaker 2: be considered dangerous to them should be also considered art
- 3:46Speaker 2: if it's a photo. So the fact that that was
- 3:50Speaker 2: put out there for a reason... And I believe it
- 3:53Speaker 2: was a reason. And everybody that I've talked to said
- 3:55Speaker 2: that it comes from the very top of the designers
- 3:59Speaker 2: to say what they want an ad to look like.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's not the set designer's fault. It's not the production person.
- 4:04Speaker 2: It's not the agency that hired the photographer's fault. But
- 4:08Speaker 2: that is who Balenciaga is suing, which I believe is
- 4:12Speaker 2: ways to get the heat off of them. They were
- 4:15Speaker 2: doing this for so long and no one with any
- 4:18Speaker 2: kind of voice, put two and two and four and
- 4:21Speaker 2: eight together to realize that this is a company that
- 4:26Speaker 2: wants to show satanic worship and child endangerment in their ads.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Even if it's secretly displayed in a corner in like
- 4:37Speaker 2: a black hoodie, which some of you guys didn't understand
- 4:40Speaker 2: what that was, but that's like the black hoodie of
- 4:42Speaker 2: the art and everything that happens in satanic worship. or
- 4:46Speaker 2: if it's, you know, it's just hidden in different images.
- 4:50Speaker 2: You all, many, not you all, many, many people bought it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Many people liked it. Many people thought they were part
- 4:56Speaker 2: of high art. And I believe one of those people
- 4:59Speaker 2: was Kim Kardashian. So this came up yesterday. This is
- 5:03Speaker 2: a TikToker. Now these TikTokers, they only have 540 likes.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Because this isn't mainstream. Okay. And TikTok knows that I'm interested.
- 5:12Speaker 2: So they're sending me these great Young TikTokers, life is good,
- 5:16Speaker 2: 2-0-2-2-2-4 is this girl. And a lot of people are
- 5:22Speaker 2: comparing the fact that the art from the book of
- 5:25Speaker 2: the author that was featured in the ad with the
- 5:28Speaker 2: purse on the Supreme Court papers, arguing that these type
- 5:34Speaker 2: of things should be considered freedom of speech and therefore
- 5:38Speaker 2: should be allowed children in danger visually, okay? is the
- 5:46Speaker 2: fact that it's the covered face, the completely black covered face.
- 5:50Speaker 2: As you recall, Kim wore that to the Met Gala.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It was Balenciaga. She wore it out. There's a photo
- 5:56Speaker 2: of her carrying one of her children in it with
- 5:59Speaker 2: three other children in black behind her. North has worn
- 6:03Speaker 2: a complete mask. Her face is covered, but we know
- 6:07Speaker 2: it's North. And the They all went to the fashion
- 6:11Speaker 2: show with their mom and dad. They were all part
- 6:14Speaker 2: of it. They all have business relations with it. Allegedly,
- 6:17Speaker 2: Balenciaga owns 20 percent of Skims. So I understand she
- 6:22Speaker 2: has a lot involvement with Skims. But I also think
- 6:24Speaker 2: the freedom of being super wealthy to the point that
- 6:27Speaker 2: you own a plane, which, by the way, once you
- 6:30Speaker 2: own a plane, that's a huge tax write off. That's
- 6:33Speaker 2: why people own planes, even though someone would go, doesn't
- 6:36Speaker 2: it make more sense just to charter the plane every time? No,
- 6:39Speaker 2: it doesn't. That's why people own planes. Anyway, you would
- 6:43Speaker 2: think someone with that kind of wealth could go, get
- 6:47Speaker 2: me out of this contract. I don't care. There's got
- 6:51Speaker 2: to be a moral clause in there. And I think
- 6:53Speaker 2: morally Balenciaga doesn't line up with my morals. Get me out.
- 6:57Speaker 2: She's trying to figure it out. She has a team
- 6:59Speaker 2: of people, team of lawyers, team of PR person. In
- 7:01Speaker 2: the meantime, let me show a 10 slide of my
- 7:05Speaker 2: house and my interior. And you guys can see how
- 7:08Speaker 2: I haven't hung up anything up in 10 years. It's weird.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I thought it was weird. People loved it. I saw
- 7:15Speaker 2: her trees outside of her bathroom. I thought that was pretty.
- 7:18Speaker 2: There's some cool things she's trying to distract us. Also,
- 7:21Speaker 2: the TikTokers realized I saw a video that she lost
- 7:24Speaker 2: a lot of followers. She's still at 350 million or whatever.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And they showed a video of all the people that
- 7:30Speaker 2: have just started to follow her. And they appear to
- 7:31Speaker 2: be robots or bot people with no history or bios. Interesting.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:39Speaker 2: All of this is what I see on TikTok. It's
- 7:41Speaker 2: all alleged. It's all a rumor. It's all my opinion
- 7:43Speaker 2: as Heather McDonald with one other person working with.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Me, Annie. Okay.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So if something I'm saying is not 100% right, I'm
- 7:51Speaker 2: not saying it's 100% right. I'm saying what I did
- 7:54Speaker 2: last night. And it was going on TikTok and reading
- 7:57Speaker 2: a bunch of shit. So I think what Kim needs
- 8:00Speaker 2: to say is when you see a photo of her
- 8:02Speaker 2: with the head, we talked about it on the show.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I was like, I think it's fucking weird. I think
- 8:07Speaker 2: it's ugly. But hey, I guess you don't have to
- 8:08Speaker 2: do your makeup. I guess it gets people talking. What
- 8:11Speaker 2: I think she should do is to say, do a
- 8:14Speaker 2: video to the camera, put it out there and go, listen,
- 8:20Speaker 2: I never studied this stuff in school.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 8:23Speaker 2: You know, was into fashion. I worked at a fashion
- 8:26Speaker 2: store when I was 18 years old. I used to wear,
- 8:31Speaker 2: you know, tight dresses. I got with Kanye. He introduced
- 8:34Speaker 2: me to Anna Wintour and all these other people. And
- 8:37Speaker 2: I got into this higher echelon of where we're hanging
- 8:39Speaker 2: out with Karl Lagerfeld and all these people in Europe.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I'm having my wedding here. I'm in this world of
- 8:45Speaker 2: high European, high fashion. And that's what I thought this was.
- 8:49Speaker 2: And when they brought me this stuff, I thought, okay,
- 8:53Speaker 2: it's chic. It's different. It's making a splash. Not everybody
- 8:56Speaker 2: has done it. I did not realize there was a
- 8:58Speaker 2: correlation between this look and satanic worship in where, in
- 9:03Speaker 2: which children were in the art or whatever we want
- 9:07Speaker 2: to call it. They want to call it art, but
- 9:08Speaker 2: in which children were a part of satanic worship.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And therefore I don't agree with it now that it's
- 9:15Speaker 2: all been put together. I'm not going to be a
- 9:17Speaker 2: part of it. And, but a lot of people didn't
- 9:21Speaker 2: Maybe there was a TikTok with 50 views where when
- 9:24Speaker 2: she was wearing this, they were like, what the fuck?
- 9:26Speaker 2: You're into satanic worship. I did not. E! News didn't.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Nobody else did. Me just talking about this, I've been
- 9:34Speaker 2: accused like what has gone on with Heather? Why is
- 9:37Speaker 2: this is just there's an article which I have not
- 9:39Speaker 2: read yet, but I just saw the headline. How high
- 9:43Speaker 2: fashion and QAnon come together. They're trying to say that
- 9:46Speaker 2: anybody that is upset about this is part of QAnon,
- 9:50Speaker 2: which we know there is no Q. We know that
- 9:53Speaker 2: was a dark part of an underworld of society in
- 9:57Speaker 2: which a lot of people got sucked in. One part
- 10:01Speaker 2: of that was people trying to expose pedophilia around the
- 10:04Speaker 2: world and pedophilia rings as well as satanic worship. So
- 10:10Speaker 2: this is now why people are like, wait a minute.
- 10:13Speaker 2: and they're looking at everything and they're looking at ads
- 10:16Speaker 2: and they're looking at things and they're looking at images
- 10:19Speaker 2: that are coming all over and realizing that this is
- 10:22Speaker 2: like a darkness that we don't want to be a
- 10:24Speaker 2: part of. And we want to bring, we want to
- 10:26Speaker 2: bring to light that this isn't cool because children who
- 10:31Speaker 2: do not have a say and that are innocent are
- 10:35Speaker 2: being dragged into it. And, um, And other people are saying,
- 10:39Speaker 2: but Heather, you showed, just like Daily Mail, you showed
- 10:42Speaker 2: the ad of the two little kids who are Balenciaga
- 10:46Speaker 2: employees' children holding the S & M Bears. That ad,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I don't believe those children were hurt in the creation
- 10:54Speaker 2: of that photo shoot. I don't. And again, I don't
- 10:59Speaker 2: even know that their parents were totally aware of it.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It's like, oh, other people, I thought it was, A
- 11:05Speaker 2: bear that looked like, you know, I'm like, oh, I
- 11:07Speaker 2: could make one of those bears from Target. I could
- 11:09Speaker 2: run my car of it. I could put some like
- 11:11Speaker 2: lingerie on it and like make fun of it. The
- 11:13Speaker 2: first time I saw it, I was like, what's going on?
- 11:15Speaker 2: Now we all see the symbolism and how deep it goes.
- 11:20Speaker 2: So that's what I think she should say to save herself.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Now there's this other designer. That's a big part of this.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Her name's Loda Volkova. Okay.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And she had her own Instagram. All this has been
- 11:34Speaker 2: taken down. All this has been made private. And she
- 11:37Speaker 2: has a photo of a girl in red latex. Remember,
- 11:41Speaker 2: Balenciaga was all into that latex. Remember when Kim Kardashian
- 11:45Speaker 2: was in a brown latex? She looked like she was
- 11:48Speaker 2: the camel from the cigarette.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Ad, okay?
- 11:51Speaker 2: That is cheap shit. It's hideous. It's gross. Along with spandex,
- 11:55Speaker 2: where the shoe matches. That's all cheap, ugly shit. And
- 11:58Speaker 2: I was like, what is with orthopedic shoes? What's with
- 12:02Speaker 2: a sweatshirt that you pay $ 1, 100 for? I was constantly like,
- 12:05Speaker 2: this Kanye shit's ugly. The emperor has no shoes. When
- 12:09Speaker 2: are people going to wake up?
- 12:10Speaker 4: No shoes.
- 12:10Speaker 2: The emperor has no clothes.
- 12:11Speaker 4: When are people going to be real?
- 12:12Speaker 2: This shit is fucking ugly. So be grateful that going
- 12:16Speaker 2: into 2023, maybe you won't be.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Now that you're so disgusted, maybe you will also look
- 12:21Speaker 2: and go, I don't want an ugly thing. That goes
- 12:23Speaker 2: for ugly prairie dresses. I don't want ugly clothes that
- 12:26Speaker 2: are unflattering to me that are overpriced.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I don't.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So let's invest in some better quality and some better designers.
- 12:34Speaker 2: These people are into sick shit, okay? Nicole Kidman, silent.
- 12:41Speaker 2: She's a big part of the ad. She was part
- 12:43Speaker 2: of that whole office look. It was supposed to be her.
- 12:47Speaker 2: She has said nothing. Celine Dion, do you remember when
- 12:51Speaker 2: she did a collab with them about babies? And the
- 12:56Speaker 2: commercial was very creepy. And people thought it was creepy.
- 12:58Speaker 2: But did it make a big splash? Did NBC talk
- 13:01Speaker 2: about it? No. But it was creepy. I just saw
- 13:03Speaker 2: the ad last night. She's like, they are not our children.
- 13:08Speaker 2: They're all of our children. Well, now that's a creepy
- 13:10Speaker 2: fucking thing to say. why is someone's child not my
- 13:16Speaker 2: child to do with what I want with it? That
- 13:19Speaker 2: ad is creepy. The clothes are creepy. Here's a baby
- 13:22Speaker 2: onesie with a little hoodie with devil ears, okay, to
- 13:26Speaker 2: put on your baby. These are expensive baby clothes. The
- 13:29Speaker 2: new order says one, a big A on another, uh,
- 13:34Speaker 2: An Illuminati eye. These are all some of the items
- 13:37Speaker 2: that like no one even looked at. Little kids with
- 13:40Speaker 2: like weird zebra heads on that look like they're part
- 13:42Speaker 2: of like Eyes Wide Shut. This weird cross thing, which
- 13:48Speaker 2: is like a strange looking cross. All of this, you guys,
- 13:52Speaker 2: is on my YouTube. Please subscribe because I know I'm
- 13:54Speaker 2: showing a lot of photos. So if you want to
- 13:57Speaker 2: go back. So there's these three guys. two guys and
- 14:01Speaker 2: this girl that were part, where they're all creative directors
- 14:03Speaker 2: for Balenciaga. And their images are crazy, like very scary images.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I'm showing them here. This is another image from Loda
- 14:17Speaker 2: where a child looks terrified with like a scary mask,
- 14:20Speaker 2: scary person. It's like a baby terrified face. Another one
- 14:24Speaker 2: is a statue of a little child holding up a
- 14:28Speaker 2: skull and with symbols around it, one of them being
- 14:32Speaker 2: 69 and a bunch of other weird shit. This is
- 14:34Speaker 2: all from Loda's. Another one is a little child with
- 14:39Speaker 2: what looks to be the devil pulling its ears and
- 14:43Speaker 2: licking its face and it's trapped. The child is trapped
- 14:47Speaker 2: and distressed. Again, this is from Albin lower score Adam.
- 14:53Speaker 2: His Instagram is now private. He was one of the
- 14:55Speaker 2: designers of Balenciaga. This is stuff that he put out
- 14:59Speaker 2: on his Instagram that people didn't, maybe you did and
- 15:04Speaker 2: you just weren't, didn't have a good enough reach, but
- 15:07Speaker 2: now we all know. So they were putting this information
- 15:11Speaker 2: out and they were trying to get their messages across.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I also heard that with satanic worship, they don't believe
- 15:19Speaker 2: in karma. Here's the deal, like this is distressing and
- 15:23Speaker 2: I believe these people were putting out these symbols all along.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Because what I have studied, and I don't know if
- 15:29Speaker 2: this is true, but when you are part of satanic worship,
- 15:34Speaker 2: you don't really believe in karma and the fact that
- 15:36Speaker 2: if you put it out there and you don't keep
- 15:37Speaker 2: it a secret and you wink to all the other
- 15:39Speaker 2: people that are part of it, that therefore it's like
- 15:43Speaker 2: we didn't make it a secret. The other thought of
- 15:45Speaker 2: why did Balenciaga do this? Why would they tell on themselves?
- 15:50Speaker 2: Are they trying to get this message out so that
- 15:53Speaker 2: we are desensitized to it, so that children are indoctrinated
- 15:56Speaker 2: into it, that we start to think this stuff is
- 15:59Speaker 2: more normal, so if we are approached by true evil,
- 16:02Speaker 2: we will accept it? I don't know. Or was it
- 16:06Speaker 2: that someone at the top knew that this was going
- 16:08Speaker 2: on and wanted this to explode, and they were the
- 16:11Speaker 2: ones that put this all out there, hoping that this
- 16:13Speaker 2: would happen? I disagree, because they've been doing it for
- 16:16Speaker 2: a while, and it just took this one person to
- 16:19Speaker 2: put it out there on Twitter, which I said, like,
- 16:22Speaker 2: I don't know if this would have been put out
- 16:24Speaker 2: three months ago on Twitter, would we have known about it?
- 16:27Speaker 2: I don't know. But that is what started everybody talking.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's another horrible image of a girl about nine in clothes,
- 16:36Speaker 2: but bondaged around her body. I also want to say
- 16:41Speaker 2: it reminds me of all the Astroworld symbolism. When Astroworld happened,
- 16:45Speaker 2: There was a lot of symbolism in that concert that
- 16:49Speaker 2: people felt aligned with satanic worship and then, of course,
- 16:53Speaker 2: a horrible tragedy there. Very strange. So it's really all
- 16:57Speaker 2: coming together. And whether this is a conscious effort of
- 17:00Speaker 2: people that are really involved in this or if they
- 17:03Speaker 2: join companies and businesses and are influenced by these people
- 17:08Speaker 2: thinking that this is high art or whatever, it's a
- 17:11Speaker 2: discussion that we're allowed to have here at Juicy Scoop.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Maybe not. on every news station, but on mine, I'm
- 17:17Speaker 2: talking about it. And I appreciate the comments and I
- 17:21Speaker 2: appreciate people that, um, like I saw Julia Fox is
- 17:24Speaker 2: very popular in Tik TOK. And I think she's bright.
- 17:26Speaker 2: And she's like, you know, what about the, what about
- 17:29Speaker 2: the church? What about all the pedophiles and all that
- 17:31Speaker 2: in church?
- 17:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 2: There's a ton of pedophiles in church. Like I said,
- 17:34Speaker 2: at trailer parks in middle America, in a nice home
- 17:38Speaker 2: in Florida, it it's everywhere. Um, but I think there's
- 17:42Speaker 2: two different things that are happening here because this is a,
- 17:47Speaker 2: I think this is more about my personal opinion, more
- 17:51Speaker 2: about the satanic worship. And I think people, that is
- 17:54Speaker 2: one thing that's cause there's corruption in religion and church,
- 17:58Speaker 2: but in Judaism and Catholicism and Christianity and Islam, it's
- 18:04Speaker 2: about being a good person and doing good onto others.
- 18:08Speaker 2: And that is not what, is the principles of satanic
- 18:14Speaker 2: devil worship. And I think that's the difference. And that's
- 18:17Speaker 2: why people are like, why is this coming out in ads?
- 18:20Speaker 2: And why is this in clothing that is all over
- 18:25Speaker 2: Nordstrom's and everywhere else? And Selma Hayek's billionaire husband owns Balenciaga,
- 18:32Speaker 2: the company that owns Balenciaga, and how far it goes
- 18:35Speaker 2: to all these different things. Now, are all these people
- 18:37Speaker 2: getting in the same room and going, I'm really excited
- 18:40Speaker 2: for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We're going to have this
- 18:44Speaker 2: person send out a tweet and all the shit's going to. No,
- 18:46Speaker 2: I don't think it was all planned. And I think
- 18:48Speaker 2: this is all trying to cover it up. Balenciaga wrote
- 18:50Speaker 2: another statement, again, shifting the blame on themselves. So they
- 18:55Speaker 2: clearly do want to keep their company going. They clearly
- 18:58Speaker 2: do want to keep having you buy their stuff. I'm
- 19:02Speaker 2: happy to say I've never liked the look. Hello and
- 19:06Speaker 2: welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have one of our favorites,
- 19:09Speaker 2: Justin Martindale. Did you just get the highlights touched up
- 19:14Speaker 2: for the holiday season?
- 19:15Speaker 4: I don't have highlights. What are you talking about?
- 19:17Speaker 2: Oh my God, they look so.
- 19:19Speaker 4: You like them?
- 19:20Speaker 2: The sun kissed you several times.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Multiple times.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Around the crowd. And it looks amazing.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Hair is looking so cute.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Shout out to Planet Salon and Elle, my hairdresser.
- 19:32Speaker 2: You're going to look so good for my holiday party,
- 19:34Speaker 2: which is around the corner, less than a week away, everyone.
- 19:38Speaker 2: All right, let's get into it. This, you know how
- 19:42Speaker 2: I love a Costco.
- 19:43Speaker 4: You love a Costco.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And the Costco jewelry, so I was there the other day,
- 19:49Speaker 2: and I've got, a pair of earrings from them and
- 19:51Speaker 2: a necklace and this gold necklace. So I've gotten three
- 19:55Speaker 2: items from the fancy section of the jewelry. And they
- 19:59Speaker 2: have like real jewelry. So I went and showed Drake
- 20:03Speaker 2: some earrings that I want.
- 20:04Speaker 4: For Christmas?
- 20:05Speaker 2: For Christmas. But I'm also like, they're very distinct items.
- 20:08Speaker 2: And I think they're quality, I know they're quality diamonds,
- 20:11Speaker 2: but I'm also like, everyone will know, also because I
- 20:13Speaker 2: talk about it, that they're these Costco earrings. So I'm like,
- 20:16Speaker 2: maybe I don't want to go to them.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Normalize it!
- 20:18Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 20:21Speaker 2: for it? This exclusive place that Dada's connections with. They
- 20:24Speaker 2: have more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 20:27Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch.
- 20:28Speaker 4: What's it called?
- 20:29Speaker 2: It's Dunaidial.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Where?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Dunaidial. There's an accent on the E.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Do you mean.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars. Lift, please.
- 20:40Speaker 2: You're going past Kimmage. Oh, Kimmage. No. Done Deal Cars.
- 20:46Speaker 3: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 20:48Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:52Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:55Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 20:59Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:07Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 21:08Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:11Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:13Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:16Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:18Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:19Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 21:21Speaker 4: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:23Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:28Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through.
- 21:30Speaker 4: It's about what happens next.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:33Speaker 5: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 21:35Speaker 4: You're worth the work.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:38Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:40Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Then this woman said, oh, no, I worked in jewelry.
- 21:58Speaker 2: That's an excellent deal. And this is top quality diamonds.
- 22:02Speaker 2: And to get earrings like that for that price, you
- 22:05Speaker 2: should get them.
- 22:06Speaker 4: It's Kirkland diamonds. It's Kirkland diamonds.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So this woman went and went to see the stuff.
- 22:13Speaker 2: You have to have the guy open it up or girl.
- 22:16Speaker 2: And you try it on or whatever. And then if
- 22:17Speaker 2: you say they want it, they put it back. They
- 22:19Speaker 2: lock it. They give you a thing. Just like if
- 22:21Speaker 2: you were buying earbuds, right? And then you go and
- 22:23Speaker 2: you pick it up at this other place after you
- 22:25Speaker 2: purchase it with your receipt. So what this girl did
- 22:28Speaker 2: was she tried it on and everything. And then she
- 22:30Speaker 2: was like, oh, my gosh. Yeah, I love it.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Thanks. Oh, okay.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Well, let me think about it. I'm not really sure
- 22:37Speaker 2: if I want to. And then she kept the $ 28, 000 ring.
- 22:43Speaker 2: like had planned it out and gave a replica ring
- 22:46Speaker 2: to the guy. And then he put it back in
- 22:49Speaker 2: the thing and then she took off and they, I guess,
- 22:53Speaker 2: I don't know if they, they must've, I think they
- 22:54Speaker 2: found her because obviously there's cameras everywhere, but their ring
- 22:57Speaker 2: has yet to be found.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Sorceress. Whoa, that's insane.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I know.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Well done, though.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Kind of like genius. And I'm like, I also feel
- 23:08Speaker 2: like now every, like, those people are being, like, that
- 23:11Speaker 2: was a big Costco meeting the day after the story broke.
- 23:14Speaker 4: That's like one of those, like, follow the ball, follow
- 23:17Speaker 4: the ball. Like, what hand is it in? Yeah, that's
- 23:19Speaker 4: like a magician. Because there's some stuff.
- 23:21Speaker 2: That's like $ 500, like this necklace. But there is stuff
- 23:25Speaker 2: as high as like $ 48, 000 in those things that are
- 23:29Speaker 2: like real engagement rings.
- 23:32Speaker 4: And so they're on the look for her, right?
- 23:35Speaker 2: No, they found her, but they don't, at this time,
- 23:38Speaker 2: the ring, maybe she already sold it and doesn't have it.
- 23:41Speaker 4: She swallowed it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I also think if you're going to do a switcheroo
- 23:45Speaker 2: kind of, unless you're going to do a smash and
- 23:49Speaker 2: grab in which you do it in LA.
- 23:51Speaker 4: That old pastime.
- 23:52Speaker 2: And then you cover your face with a 2020 mask
- 23:56Speaker 2: and a hoodie. Chances are, if you're just showing up
- 24:00Speaker 2: like a cute girl looking for a ring at a Costco,
- 24:04Speaker 2: you're going to be caught.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I want to know like, How long, what was the
- 24:08Speaker 4: time frame, like, when they realized that they got the
- 24:11Speaker 4: wrong ring?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know. You know? Like, how would they know?
- 24:14Speaker 4: Was it like, wait, wait a minute, there she goes,
- 24:16Speaker 4: you know? Or was it like, okay, they put it
- 24:18Speaker 4: back in the case, don't even know.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because who's going to go around and then have
- 24:21Speaker 2: someone be like, wait a minute, this ring looks a
- 24:23Speaker 2: little different.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah. That's a good one. I bet she swallowed it.
- 24:28Speaker 4: She's got to be checking the toilet.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Do you remember that book that... It was a children's book,
- 24:33Speaker 2: and it was like there was an old lady who
- 24:34Speaker 2: had a dad who ate a fly.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Who swallowed the thing, who ate the thing. Yeah. What
- 24:40Speaker 4: happened to her?
- 24:41Speaker 2: I don't know. What a weird story. Why are we
- 24:44Speaker 2: reading a book about a woman that obviously has an
- 24:47Speaker 2: eating disorder?
- 24:48Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Every childhood story.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Is so fucking weird.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Flies have a lot of calories.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Even like that book, Are You My Mother? is a
- 24:58Speaker 2: weird one.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Oh, Are You My Mom?
- 25:00Speaker 2: Not everybody has a mom, which is kind of sad.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It's not sad that they don't have a mom. People
- 25:05Speaker 2: have two dads, one dad, whatever. But to just be like,
- 25:11Speaker 2: are you my mother? And the bird is asking a
- 25:13Speaker 2: tractor if it's its mother. And you're like, how dumb
- 25:16Speaker 2: are you? How dumb are you, bird? The tractor's not
- 25:18Speaker 2: your mother.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Just weird.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Just weird. Weird. I'm glad celebrities are writing new books
- 25:25Speaker 2: for children. Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Well, it's good because this is the new topic because
- 25:30Speaker 4: now celebrities can gaslight their children.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I love this because gaslighting is the most overused word.
- 25:37Speaker 4: It is.
- 25:37Speaker 2: But it's also kind of great. So it's a great
- 25:39Speaker 2: way to go. Gaslighting is the Webster's word of 2022.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It went up... 1,740% more people looking it up, being like,
- 25:51Speaker 2: what the fuck is this? And why do I hear
- 25:53Speaker 2: it on every podcast I listen to?
- 25:55Speaker 4: Because gaslighting is now the new literally.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Oh.
- 26:00Speaker 4: That's what I'm thinking. Wow. Because everything last year was like,
- 26:02Speaker 4: I'm literally doing this. Literally, literally, literally. Now it's gaslighting.
- 26:06Speaker 4: That's gaslighting.
- 26:07Speaker 2: And I feel like literally had like a decade time.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 2: You're right.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Gaslighting is everywhere. You could go to like a, like a,
- 26:14Speaker 4: like a, uh, uh, Fast food restaurant. They're like, your
- 26:17Speaker 4: order's ready. I'm sorry, you're gaslighting me. It's not ready.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Well, I also think it's overused in that you can just,
- 26:27Speaker 2: anytime you're in an argument, and the way people argue
- 26:31Speaker 2: is when I'd be like, No, you were trying to
- 26:34Speaker 2: make me feel bad, Justin, about the fact that I
- 26:38Speaker 2: chose a restaurant that you didn't like. And then you'd
- 26:41Speaker 2: be like, that's not true. Yeah. And then you were like,
- 26:44Speaker 2: that's not true. So if you say that's not true
- 26:47Speaker 2: because that wasn't your intent, then I say stop trying
- 26:50Speaker 2: to gaslight me.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Uh-huh.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That is true. Exactly. No, that's true in my brain,
- 26:54Speaker 2: but that doesn't mean that was true in your– so
- 26:56Speaker 2: any time– I.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Have had that specific conversation.
- 26:59Speaker 2: And did the word gaslighting come in?
- 27:00Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 27:02Speaker 4: It was, yeah, last, or this February, it was like
- 27:04Speaker 4: a huge argument. And it's like, you're gaslighting me. And
- 27:08Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm not. I'm telling you the truth.
- 27:11Speaker 2: And your truth.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Is real.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Might be different. No, but like your, I think there's
- 27:16Speaker 2: a difference in like the way it came about was
- 27:18Speaker 2: this movie where this guy was really trying to make
- 27:21Speaker 2: his wife crazy. And I do think really, I think
- 27:25Speaker 2: the best example is when you're with someone. who is
- 27:29Speaker 2: being deceitful, cheating on you, whatever. You're seeing evidence. He's
- 27:34Speaker 2: wearing cologne. He's working out for a marathon. He's not
- 27:38Speaker 2: hanging out with you. He's going to his bathroom on
- 27:41Speaker 2: the phone, which he never did before and all this stuff.
- 27:43Speaker 2: And you're like, what the fuck is going on? Are
- 27:45Speaker 2: you seeing someone? And he's like, what's wrong with you?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Why are you crazy? And in that case, that's gaslighting.
- 27:51Speaker 4: You have four phones. What's wrong? Yes, exactly.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Because he knows... He, instead of being truthful, because he
- 27:59Speaker 2: knows he's lying to you, he's saying, you're crazy, you're
- 28:02Speaker 2: seeing things you aren't seeing. That's gaslighting.
- 28:05Speaker 4: And narcissists love the word gaslighting.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Because it doesn't make them look like narcissists. No, I'm
- 28:13Speaker 4: thinking about other people, you're just wrong and gaslighting. Yes.
- 28:17Speaker 4: And you're like, no, you're insane. Yes, so.
- 28:21Speaker 2: The other thing I want to say, because I heard this,
- 28:24Speaker 2: and I don't have a photo for it, who doesn't matter,
- 28:26Speaker 2: is you see Will Smith did an interview with Trevor Noah.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Oh, yes, I did see that. I saw a clip.
- 28:33Speaker 2: And the little bit that I saw and read was
- 28:36Speaker 2: that he said another thing that I hate, that is
- 28:39Speaker 2: my new thing that I hate. When someone does something wrong...
- 28:44Speaker 2: And they do something shitty to someone else, like say
- 28:46Speaker 2: something super evil or spread a rumor or want to
- 28:51Speaker 2: ruin your life or slap.
- 28:52Speaker 4: You while you're... Presenting an award. Sure.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You say, you know, I feel terrible about it, but...
- 29:02Speaker 2: I was going through a bunch of stuff. That's what
- 29:04Speaker 2: he said. I was going through a bunch of things. And,
- 29:06Speaker 2: which he doesn't tell us what he's going through. Like,
- 29:08Speaker 2: tell us the fucking fight. Tell us who Jada fucked.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Which friend of your son's did Jada bone again? And
- 29:15Speaker 2: you realized it. In the car ride to the Oscars.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Tell us what it was.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Give us the entanglements.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Yes, give it to us.
- 29:25Speaker 2: He then talks about it, and it reminded me, then
- 29:29Speaker 2: when he said a mean thing about my wife's hair,
- 29:33Speaker 2: it reminded me of when my dad would abuse my mother,
- 29:37Speaker 2: and I had to witness it when I was nine
- 29:39Speaker 2: years old. and I kind of snapped. And he ends
- 29:42Speaker 2: his speech on, this is the new thing I hate
- 29:45Speaker 2: because it's obviously Will Smith is a Housewives fan because
- 29:49Speaker 2: he said, hurt people hurt people. So hurt people, I
- 29:55Speaker 2: have been hurt. And therefore, I have to hurt. And
- 29:59Speaker 2: that's why, is that not, who hasn't been hurt in life?
- 30:02Speaker 4: That's not a saying. That is not a live, laugh, love, like, calligraphy.
- 30:06Speaker 2: But I'm hearing it a lot.
- 30:07Speaker 4: It's the new. Hurt people hurt people?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Well, stop hurting people hurt people.
- 30:12Speaker 2: So, so, like, especially on, like, in housewives fights and stuff.
- 30:18Speaker 2: When they get to that reunion moment and they've had
- 30:21Speaker 2: a month and a half of social media people being like,
- 30:25Speaker 2: you're a fucking bitch for doing that to so-and-so. Then
- 30:29Speaker 2: you're like, hold on, hold on. My dad used to
- 30:33Speaker 2: tell me to be quiet when I tried to talk
- 30:34Speaker 2: at the dinner table.
- 30:35Speaker 4: The nerve.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I was bullied in seventh grade. Get in line. I
- 30:41Speaker 2: had a horrible ex-husband and I've been hurt. Hurt people
- 30:47Speaker 2: hurt people. I'm sorry. I don't know why I did it.
- 30:50Speaker 2: And I'm sorry that you felt that way. I'm sorry
- 30:54Speaker 2: that I hurt people hurt people.
- 30:56Speaker 4: It reminds me of that scene in Mean Girls where
- 31:00Speaker 4: she says, I'm sorry I called you. Wait. I didn't
- 31:05Speaker 4: call you fat because you're a bitch. You're a bitch. Wait.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I can't remember it. But it was like. Do you
- 31:11Speaker 4: know what I'm talking about?
- 31:13Speaker 2: She's got to look it up.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Yeah, look it up. It's one of my favorite things.
- 31:16Speaker 4: But that's... It's like, you're... You're not fat because they
- 31:20Speaker 4: hate you. I hate you because you're fat or something
- 31:22Speaker 4: like that. It's like, what? But then you can say, like,
- 31:26Speaker 4: hurt people hurt people. Wow, now you're gaslighting me. Yes. Oh,
- 31:30Speaker 4: my God. It's just too much. Too much.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Whoever... Whatever... I don't know if you saw that on
- 31:37Speaker 2: a Bravo reunion when he was away in India finding
- 31:41Speaker 2: his soul. I don't know what monk is there also
- 31:46Speaker 2: watching Bravo and told him he could say this or
- 31:48Speaker 2: what PR person is saying. But the hurt people hurt people.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I've been hearing it a lot. It's so dumb.
- 31:56Speaker 4: It's so dumb.
- 31:57Speaker 2: But a lot of celebrities do it. And sometimes they're like, okay,
- 32:01Speaker 2: wait a minute. I've lost my popularity. People realize that
- 32:05Speaker 2: I've been actually horrible and really mean and really awful.
- 32:09Speaker 2: And in post-2020 world, it's not cool to be mean
- 32:13Speaker 2: and awful to people anymore. And they're pulling it out
- 32:16Speaker 2: from tweets and books and TV shows I've done. So
- 32:19Speaker 2: let me just think about. What was the worst thing
- 32:22Speaker 2: that happened in my childhood? Okay, yeah, there was a
- 32:25Speaker 2: really sad death in my family. Okay, so that really
- 32:29Speaker 2: hurt me because I was only, you know, a kid
- 32:31Speaker 2: at the time. Hurt people hurt people. And that's why
- 32:35Speaker 2: I was an awful person. So you guys should never
- 32:39Speaker 2: be mad at me again. Realize I went to therapy.
- 32:42Speaker 2: And now I have this whole new... look out on life,
- 32:46Speaker 2: which people can change.
- 32:47Speaker 4: People can change, but it's lame.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Just say, I was a selfish bitch and I did
- 32:52Speaker 2: not realize that I was treating myself as I was
- 32:57Speaker 2: the center of the universe. That's how I saw myself.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I saw myself as better as you. I saw myself
- 33:01Speaker 2: as smarter than you.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And I was a dick.
- 33:04Speaker 4: I was a dick.
- 33:05Speaker 2: And you know what? Going forward, I'm going to really
- 33:08Speaker 2: try not to think so highly of myself.
- 33:10Speaker 4: We need to have a shirt. Stop saying hurt people,
- 33:12Speaker 4: hurt people. Just say like, bitches are trash. Dicks are dicks. Like,
- 33:16Speaker 4: that's it. Stop justifying it. There's no gaslighting. This is
- 33:21Speaker 4: what it is. And I think that's such a lame excuse. Well,
- 33:24Speaker 4: I'm hurt. So now, Heather, I have to hurt you.
- 33:29Speaker 4: It's so weird.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I know. Like, well, you shouldn't be mad at hurting
- 33:34Speaker 2: others because at one time someone hurt me.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yeah, well, now I must hurt you.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I mean, it's like literally that, okay, you know, I mean,
- 33:44Speaker 2: not to get dark, but like, okay, so if you,
- 33:49Speaker 2: you know, sexually assault someone, whether it's a person or
- 33:53Speaker 2: a child or whatever, is there a chance that you
- 33:56Speaker 2: were sexually assaulted at one time and you're like, yes,
- 33:58Speaker 2: and that is awful, but we're not going to excuse
- 34:01Speaker 2: the crime that you did on that person. So on
- 34:03Speaker 2: a lower, on a less severe level, like this should
- 34:06Speaker 2: not be an excuse.
- 34:08Speaker 4: No, it's going for, it's narcissistic slash psychopathic behavior.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:12Speaker 4: That's what we're getting. Narcopathic behavior.
- 34:16Speaker 2: What he should have said, what, what Will Smith should
- 34:19Speaker 2: have done.
- 34:19Speaker 4: I was out of line. I'm sorry.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I literally don't know what the hell I was doing.
- 34:26Speaker 2: I had a psychotic break. I've been working with a
- 34:28Speaker 2: therapist and, um, I want to still act again. That's
- 34:32Speaker 2: why I'm coming out and telling you, like I took
- 34:35Speaker 2: a year, whatever it's been. I do want to act again.
- 34:38Speaker 2: That's why I'm doing interviews. Um, I'll never live this down.
- 34:42Speaker 2: I'll be forever sorry. I obviously can't go to the
- 34:44Speaker 2: Oscars for 10 years, but I am still a good actor,
- 34:48Speaker 2: and I still want to do this. And can I
- 34:50Speaker 2: just say I want to do it? And I think
- 34:52Speaker 2: he will. I know because people are definitely more forgiving
- 34:55Speaker 2: of men than women, and I think they'll forgive him,
- 34:59Speaker 2: and I think that he's a good actor, and there
- 35:02Speaker 2: aren't a lot of people that can do what he
- 35:04Speaker 2: can do. So I think he'll work again.
- 35:08Speaker 4: But also I think the media needs to stop talking
- 35:11Speaker 4: about this. Because I just feel like this is now
- 35:15Speaker 4: giving him the platform.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Nobody is talking about it. He just did another interview.
- 35:18Speaker 4: So now we have to talk about it. Now we
- 35:19Speaker 4: have to talk about the slap again. And now hurt
- 35:21Speaker 4: people hurt people. So it's like feeding that frenzy. Do
- 35:25Speaker 4: you think.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Chris Rock is ever going to make a bigger... I mean,
- 35:30Speaker 2: he had an incredible tour.
- 35:31Speaker 4: No.
- 35:31Speaker 2: It helped his tour.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Of course. I mean, he's hilarious. My buddy Rick opens
- 35:35Speaker 4: for him.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he's hilarious anyway, but it definitely brought light to, like, yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 2: let's go see. We're going to see one comedy concert.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Besides Chay Diaz.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Yes.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Let's go see Chris Rock. But I kind of think
- 35:47Speaker 2: he's handling it right. He is.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Why does he have to say anything? He doesn't. It
- 35:50Speaker 4: happened almost a year ago. He's the victim. Yeah, he's like, whatever, stop.
- 35:54Speaker 2: The victim doesn't need to speak. The victim doesn't need
- 35:56Speaker 2: to make it right for Will Smith.
- 35:58Speaker 6: Mm-mm.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I think he handled it good.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Well, I mean.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Yeah, he handled it well.
- 36:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 4: But I do think that Chris Rock is just now
- 36:09Speaker 4: doing his thing now. He doesn't need it. Or I
- 36:11Speaker 4: think Will is now taking red table talk advice from
- 36:16Speaker 4: Jada being like, what's hurt people hurt people mean?
- 36:20Speaker 2: That's where they got it from. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Because I'm
- 36:23Speaker 2: sure I would love to know, and believe me, there's
- 36:25Speaker 2: someone sitting at home that's like, Heather, I'd like to
- 36:27Speaker 2: take that assignment. How many times has a guest or
- 36:32Speaker 2: a host on Red Table Talk said, hurt people, hurt people?
- 36:37Speaker 4: Let us know.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Even if you show me one clip, I'll be satisfied.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 4: I think that's what it was. And now he's doing
- 36:44Speaker 4: this Will Smith redemption tour and we're exhausted.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Yeah. But it was a great moment of 2022 to
- 36:53Speaker 2: discuss on a podcast.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Who's that? Ben Affleck?
- 36:59Speaker 2: This is Ben Affleck. This is from People Magazine, and
- 37:03Speaker 2: it's Ben Affleck smiling. J-Lo did a bunch of little
- 37:06Speaker 2: reel of photos, and one was of him and the
- 37:12Speaker 2: 14-year-old twin.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Mark Anthony's son.
- 37:14Speaker 2: The boy twin. It's weird.
- 37:18Speaker 4: Why?
- 37:19Speaker 2: It was a little weird.
- 37:20Speaker 4: What do you mean? I know where you're going.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Well, his eyes are shut, so it looks... Now, he
- 37:26Speaker 2: may have... hugged his stepdad and someone snapped it. Why
- 37:30Speaker 2: he hugged him with closed eyes. Um, but it also
- 37:34Speaker 2: looks weird because it looks like what you would do
- 37:38Speaker 2: for a one and a half year old toddler that
- 37:39Speaker 2: fell on your, fell asleep while you're sitting in a
- 37:42Speaker 2: chair and they just are like so tired, climbs up
- 37:45Speaker 2: on your lap, climbs up on their dad's shoulder and
- 37:47Speaker 2: falls asleep. Except that he's 14. Now I'm not saying
- 37:50Speaker 2: anything is weird sexually, nothing like that. It's just a
- 37:54Speaker 2: weird photo of, based on this kid's age and stepdad
- 37:59Speaker 2: and all of it.
- 38:01Speaker 4: If I was Mark Anthony, I'd be pissed.
- 38:03Speaker 2: And that too.
- 38:04Speaker 4: I'd be like, I'd be like, wait, what, what is it? Yeah.
- 38:08Speaker 4: He could have been asleep in the back seat and
- 38:10Speaker 4: they're like, all right, let's get him out. He picked
- 38:12Speaker 4: him up and he actually is asleep.
- 38:14Speaker 2: A 14 year old.
- 38:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:16Speaker 4: You don't like, I always fell asleep in the car
- 38:19Speaker 4: as a kid at 14.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Yeah. You're you, how tall were you at 14? Now,
- 38:25Speaker 2: I know these kids are smaller because they're Mark Anthony's kids. But, like,
- 38:29Speaker 2: I mean, by the time a kid.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I was, like, 5'8.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Okay. And someone could carry you.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Ben Affleck could. He was Superman or Batman or whatever.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Or.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Or... Could this be posed? The point is, I am
- 38:47Speaker 2: talking about it, people, because she fucking put it out there. Yes.
- 38:50Speaker 2: So if she puts it out there, I'm going to
- 38:51Speaker 2: say I think it was a weird photo. And I
- 38:53Speaker 2: have a right to say it's a weird photo. I'm
- 38:55Speaker 2: not saying anything sinister is happening. I'm wondering if this
- 38:58Speaker 2: was posed, if he closed his eyes, if he was
- 39:01Speaker 2: actually asleep.
- 39:01Speaker 4: You think J-Lo was like, hug your stepdad and take
- 39:05Speaker 4: a picture.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Honestly, maybe they could have hugged and then she was like, wait,
- 39:08Speaker 2: I want to get this moment. Honey, Ben, smile. And
- 39:12Speaker 2: they're both like, the quicker we get this done, the
- 39:16Speaker 2: quicker I can get back to my video game. I
- 39:19Speaker 2: don't know. I think it's weird. And I'm not the
- 39:22Speaker 2: only one that thought it was weird.
- 39:23Speaker 4: I'm making a prediction. Yes. I think Jennifer Lopez is
- 39:27Speaker 4: going to be the next celebrity that unravels. And I
- 39:33Speaker 4: have proof.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Okay, which is what?
- 39:36Speaker 4: So according to Time Magazine recently, Jennifer Lopez is going
- 39:41Speaker 4: to do a Whitney Houston tribute at the Grammys next year.
- 39:46Speaker 4: because she feels that her vocal range is up there
- 39:51Speaker 4: with Whitney Houston. And I'm really hoping this isn't a
- 39:54Speaker 4: fake article, but it was at time. It was a
- 39:59Speaker 4: post or a tweet. You can look it up. And
- 40:03Speaker 4: she's like, oh, yeah, she's doing... And she did one
- 40:05Speaker 4: in 2012, but now I think that because the Grammys
- 40:08Speaker 4: are coming back and that Whitney Houston movie's coming out
- 40:11Speaker 4: over Christmas... That they're like, oh, Jennifer Lopez is now like,
- 40:14Speaker 4: I'm singing some Whitney Houston songs because she and I
- 40:18Speaker 4: are of the same caliber.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Will she have the breakdown realizing this was a horrible
- 40:22Speaker 2: mistake and no one will sound as good as Whitney Houston?
- 40:25Speaker 2: I think she's going.
- 40:26Speaker 4: To sing, I want to dance with somebody and in
- 40:28Speaker 4: the middle just go, let's get loud. And everyone's like,
- 40:31Speaker 4: we get it, girl. Okay, well, if it's, let's, yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I want to dance with somebody and how will I know?
- 40:37Speaker 4: Wait, is that hers?
- 40:38Speaker 2: Is it real? He really loves me. Is that Whitney?
- 40:43Speaker 2: Is that Whitney? So that's not hard, but if it's anything,
- 40:47Speaker 2: the harder ones.
- 40:48Speaker 4: If she sings I Will Always Love You, I'm going
- 40:50Speaker 4: to snap my own neck. Forget it.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Well, you can. It's too hard.
- 40:53Speaker 4: To snap my own neck?
- 40:54Speaker 2: No.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Try me. If she even attempts that song, I'm going
- 41:01Speaker 4: to call it a day. No way. What did you say, Haney?
- 41:06Speaker 2: No big media outlets have picked it up, but smaller
- 41:08Speaker 2: ones are talking about it within the three hours.
- 41:11Speaker 4: They're doing the damage control already. See? Jennifer Lopez deleted posts.
- 41:19Speaker 2: That's my Instagram. When I do my tribute.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Do you want to hear what she has to sing? Okay, let's.
- 41:26Speaker 2: I have nothing and I will always love you. No!
- 41:30Speaker 2: I have nothing and I will always love you.
- 41:31Speaker 4: She does have nothing. It's called talent.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Those are so hard. I have nothing.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Nothing. See, I can do it in my shower.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Nothing but you don't have you. My only you.
- 41:52Speaker 4: Everyone's dog in their house. Howling. She can't do I
- 41:56Speaker 4: Will Always Love You, but will I sit glued to
- 41:59Speaker 4: the television watching? Absolutely. Okay.
- 42:04Speaker 2: So wait, will she have the breakdown before she's getting
- 42:07Speaker 2: ready for it and we're doing another documentary?
- 42:08Speaker 4: No, the Grammys will be the official breakdown because all
- 42:11Speaker 4: the press coverage of that is going to send her spiraling. Watch.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine with your prediction. I disagree.
- 42:18Speaker 4: You do? Why? I disagree.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I kind of feel that people like So my other friend,
- 42:25Speaker 2: my other friend said, I predict Kim Kardashian will be
- 42:28Speaker 2: the next.
- 42:29Speaker 4: She's going to have one too.
- 42:30Speaker 2: That goes and it's like, I need, I disagree.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 42:35Speaker 2: I think Kim and JLo are so similar. For sure.
- 42:39Speaker 2: And I don't think they're the types that are ever
- 42:42Speaker 2: going to have a breakdown or even fake a breakdown
- 42:44Speaker 2: for sympathy.
- 42:45Speaker 6: I don't.
- 42:46Speaker 2: That's my prediction. I don't.
- 42:47Speaker 4: I mean, we saw in her halftime special, her being...
- 42:52Speaker 4: horribly distraught that she was not nominated for an Oscar
- 42:55Speaker 4: for playing the main Bordello woman in Hustlers.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 43:01Speaker 4: And she was like, I deserve that.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 43:04Speaker 4: She's going to snap. Kim's already on the way because
- 43:06Speaker 4: of the whole Balenciaga thing and taking pictures of her pottery.
- 43:10Speaker 2: We don't want either person to have a breakdown. I
- 43:13Speaker 2: predict that they won't, and Justin does. So we have
- 43:17Speaker 2: all this.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Okay. Buddhist.
- 43:20Speaker 2: A Thai Buddhist temple emptied after all the monks tested
- 43:24Speaker 2: positive for meth. Four Buddhist monks were shipped off to
- 43:32Speaker 2: rehab after they all tested positive. So wait, is a Buddhist...
- 43:38Speaker 2: Can you look up this? Can Buddhist monks talk? Because,
- 43:41Speaker 2: I mean, how boring if you're like in a group
- 43:43Speaker 2: with four Buddhist monks and they're not telling you any
- 43:46Speaker 2: juicy stories about being a meth addict.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 2: If they can't talk, how can they do, like, group therapy?
- 43:58Speaker 2: So it's limited talking unless amongst themselves.
- 44:01Speaker 4: That's how they got caught. They were on meth just like...
- 44:04Speaker 4: And they're like, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Why are you talking so much?
- 44:14Speaker 2: Totally.
- 44:15Speaker 4: That's how they got caught.
- 44:18Speaker 2: There's like sections. The way the Catholic Church works is
- 44:21Speaker 2: there's nuns, and there's like nuns, and people would start
- 44:27Speaker 2: the nunneries. Like a female would start the nun, what
- 44:29Speaker 2: kind of nun they were going to be. So there's
- 44:31Speaker 2: nuns that taught. That's the nuns I went to. It's
- 44:34Speaker 2: the Sisters of St. Louis, and they were the teachers,
- 44:38Speaker 2: and they all came to California, L.A. And they were
- 44:41Speaker 2: teaching nuns, and then there's nursing nuns. But then there
- 44:44Speaker 2: are nuns that just pray and are silent. Mm-hmm. And
- 44:47Speaker 2: I just remember being like, my worst nightmare is being
- 44:53Speaker 2: a silent nun. Like, if I were to be a nun,
- 44:57Speaker 2: I was like, I'll be like a teaching nun or whatever. But, like,
- 45:00Speaker 2: if I.
- 45:01Speaker 4: You would be like Julie Andrews. You'd be like, let's
- 45:03Speaker 4: start at the very beginning.
- 45:06Speaker 2: But, like, I can't imagine, like... What a bummer. And
- 45:10Speaker 2: I know there's, like, silent retreats and stuff. And I'm
- 45:14Speaker 2: just like... I just don't think that anything sounds... less
- 45:18Speaker 2: Heather McDonald-ish.
- 45:20Speaker 4: You would be a Vegas nun. You'd be like one
- 45:22Speaker 4: of those nuns that like go do slot machines and shit.
- 45:26Speaker 4: They go to like Magic Mike, you know, and they're like, whew,
- 45:30Speaker 4: like a cool nun.
- 45:30Speaker 2: But also, who thought like that's helping the world, not talking?
- 45:33Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Not using your vocal cords.
- 45:36Speaker 4: I mean, this is our instrument. This is our gift.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't see it.
- 45:40Speaker 4: I want to know, this is, I feel, there was
- 45:42Speaker 4: one monk, it only takes one monk, Heather, That monk
- 45:47Speaker 4: got the meth and was like, this is cool. I
- 45:51Speaker 4: need to talk to some of my friends. And then
- 45:56Speaker 4: that monk gave it to another monk and then they
- 45:58Speaker 4: all monked it down.
- 45:59Speaker 2: I mean, first of all, you don't need, lots of
- 46:02Speaker 2: times people find themselves going in a meth direction because
- 46:06Speaker 2: they want to drop a few LBs. Don't need to
- 46:08Speaker 2: do that when you're wearing those orange cloaks.
- 46:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Very figure-forgiving.
- 46:12Speaker 4: I think they were probably, like, methed out and just
- 46:14Speaker 4: tugging that bell string, like, really hard. Everyone's like, whoa,
- 46:18Speaker 4: something's up with the monks up at the temple today.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Totally, yeah. And then, yeah, you're right. Very weird. Who
- 46:24Speaker 2: gave them the, have you heard about this weirdness that's
- 46:27Speaker 2: happening in the world?
- 46:28Speaker 4: Oh, with the crypto people? Yeah.
- 46:30Speaker 2: So a Russian billionaire died mysteriously in a helicopter crash. Now,
- 46:35Speaker 2: the weirdest part is he is the third person cryptocurrency
- 46:39Speaker 2: mogul to suddenly pass away in recent weeks. I'm having, um,
- 46:46Speaker 2: Drake who is, um, can explain crypto to me, but
- 46:50Speaker 2: also I told him to look this up. Why does
- 46:54Speaker 2: he think these three people have died? It's very weird.
- 46:56Speaker 2: One guy died in his sleep.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 46:59Speaker 2: When people have mysteriously died that are powerful, um, it's,
- 47:05Speaker 2: oftentimes mysteriously in the sleep. It's oftentimes small aircrafts or
- 47:11Speaker 2: it's suicide, but it's like, but being shot in the back,
- 47:14Speaker 2: but then they say, oh, it was suicide or it's
- 47:16Speaker 2: two different guns or, and it's very weird. This is
- 47:22Speaker 2: too much of a coincidence in my opinion.
- 47:24Speaker 4: I think it's very bizarre.
- 47:25Speaker 2: And I don't really understand what is going on with
- 47:29Speaker 2: the crypto and the the Tom Brady and Giselle and
- 47:33Speaker 2: that they were part of that crypto thing and that
- 47:35Speaker 2: weird guy with his bad hair and is crypto like done?
- 47:39Speaker 2: Are we like done with crypto?
- 47:40Speaker 4: I hope so.
- 47:41Speaker 2: I never bought any of it.
- 47:42Speaker 4: I didn't get into it.
- 47:43Speaker 2: And I never understood it.
- 47:44Speaker 4: Maybe that's why they're disappearing.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Because Heather didn't understand?
- 47:48Speaker 4: Because Heather didn't understand. Hurt people hurt people, Heather.
- 47:55Speaker 2: I never understood it. The amount of times that Drake
- 47:57Speaker 2: and Peter tried to explain it to me. And I
- 47:59Speaker 2: know there's women all over the world that had a
- 48:02Speaker 2: boyfriend or a husband try to explain cryptocurrency to them
- 48:07Speaker 2: or an NFT. Both things. I'm ready to goodbye for 2023.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Can we just goodbye to that?
- 48:13Speaker 4: However, talk to me about a Buddhist monk doing meth.
- 48:16Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 48:17Speaker 4: I just don't care about trading and coin passing and. Oh,
- 48:22Speaker 4: it's $ 50 million to get this non-fundable token. Get out
- 48:27Speaker 4: of here. I'd rather go to like a Chuck E. Cheese.
- 48:29Speaker 4: That's the tokens that I'm familiar with. I don't. I
- 48:32Speaker 4: don't know anything about it. And I don't care.
- 48:34Speaker 2: And even those tokens, like when it would be time
- 48:36Speaker 2: to leave Chuck E. Cheese, you know, and I was
- 48:38Speaker 2: like so cheap and everything, I'd be like, oh, I
- 48:41Speaker 2: got to save these tokens.
- 48:42Speaker 4: For next time.
- 48:43Speaker 2: For the next time. And then the next time we'd go,
- 48:45Speaker 2: I'd always forget.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Forget them.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Forget them. Is that how cryptocurrency works?
- 48:50Speaker 4: I guess, yeah. Or you'd have like two tickets left.
- 48:53Speaker 4: You can't get anything with them. You're like, I'll bring
- 48:55Speaker 4: them back next time. Also, who's going back for a
- 48:57Speaker 4: next time? Oh, I miss those days.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Anyway, very sad. I mean, he looks like a cute guy.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 49:04Speaker 4: She looks photoshopped in this.
- 49:06Speaker 2: They said that what was weird about it is that
- 49:09Speaker 2: it was perfect weather. It was one of the nicest,
- 49:13Speaker 2: newest helicopters Unlike a Kobe Bryant, there was weird weather.
- 49:19Speaker 2: There was definitely factors. And it was a very experienced pilot.
- 49:26Speaker 2: So it makes someone think, did someone mess around? Some tampering.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Yeah, some tampering. Is this his wife or girlfriend?
- 49:32Speaker 2: I'm not really sure.
- 49:33Speaker 4: I wonder if she was with him.
- 49:34Speaker 2: I don't know all the details, but hopefully not.
- 49:38Speaker 4: It's giving me Anastasia vibes. Do you remember Anastasia, the
- 49:42Speaker 4: lost Romanoff princess?
- 49:44Speaker 2: No, what's that story? The Romanoffs?
- 49:47Speaker 4: Did you not watch The Crown this season?
- 49:49Speaker 2: Oh, is it this season?
- 49:51Speaker 4: Alexei Romanoff.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I'm starting to watch it.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Yes.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Of course, I'm the most interested in the Princess Diana stuff.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Oh, the Romanoffs were like the Russian.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I am freaked out that she's 6'3, the actress.
- 50:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:01Speaker 2: She's bending down all the time, but I'll get back
- 50:04Speaker 2: into it.
- 50:04Speaker 4: The Romanovs were like the last of the monarchs in
- 50:07Speaker 4: Russia that were related to Elizabeth's family. And then when
- 50:13Speaker 4: the Soviet Union was getting Russia... took that family and
- 50:17Speaker 4: told them they were escaping and then shot them all
- 50:19Speaker 4: in their basement, the whole family.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I remember that. I mean, I remember that story.
- 50:22Speaker 4: And the urban legend was that one of the daughters
- 50:25Speaker 4: got out, had amnesia, and then Meg Ryan voiced the
- 50:28Speaker 4: cartoon of Anastasia, which is now owned by Disney, but
- 50:31Speaker 4: it was Fox to begin with. Good.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Juicy history mixed all together.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Yes, Anastasia Romanoff.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Thank you for bringing that.
- 50:40Speaker 4: You're welcome. It's a great Christmas movie.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, but there's something weird going on, okay?
- 50:46Speaker 2: Katherine Heigl. Do we remember Katherine Heigl?
- 50:50Speaker 4: Yes, we do.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Katherine Heigl, you guys, was the star of Grey's Anatomy
- 50:55Speaker 2: that's been on for 20 years. How long has that
- 50:57Speaker 2: been on?
- 50:57Speaker 4: 20-something.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Shonda Rhimes. And, you know, I had a theory about
- 51:04Speaker 2: what happened to Katherine Heigl. What basically happened is she,
- 51:09Speaker 2: back in the day, she got fired or quit or
- 51:12Speaker 2: something from Grey's Anatomy. And I always felt that she
- 51:19Speaker 2: had a co-star on that show. I believe it was
- 51:24Speaker 2: her gay best friend.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 51:26Speaker 2: And I think she was a product of a gay
- 51:30Speaker 2: best friend blowing up her head too much, which is
- 51:34Speaker 2: something dangerous that can happen to many of us.
- 51:39Speaker 4: Keep your gaze at arm's length.
- 51:41Speaker 2: I'm just saying. Don't believe everything that your gay best
- 51:45Speaker 2: friend tells you about how great you are.
- 51:47Speaker 4: Unless they're amazing like me. No, listen.
- 51:51Speaker 2: A gay best friend, this is why we love them.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Because they give us everything we need from a man.
- 51:59Speaker 2: But they're so much more fun and they can blow
- 52:02Speaker 2: up our ego way more than our heterosexual partner, husband.
- 52:09Speaker 2: She got too big for her bridges and she fucked
- 52:11Speaker 2: it all up. And now she, you know, and she
- 52:14Speaker 2: left the show and she had all these movies and
- 52:16Speaker 2: everything and it all just went to shit. Like, remember
- 52:19Speaker 2: she had all those dumb movies that they play at
- 52:21Speaker 2: the dry bar now? Like, what happened to her?
- 52:24Speaker 4: I heard she, yeah, I heard she was just very
- 52:26Speaker 4: unpleasant to work with.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Very unpleasant to work with. Will you look up the
- 52:29Speaker 2: other guy that was her best friend that also got fired?
- 52:32Speaker 1: Yeah, his name was George on the show.
- 52:35Speaker 2: And then, and what happened to his life?
- 52:38Speaker 4: He actually was one of the first guys, I think,
- 52:40Speaker 4: that came out in a big television series. TR Knight.
- 52:44Speaker 4: TR Knight, yeah.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Where is TR Knight today?
- 52:46Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 52:46Speaker 2: And then also, there was the black guy.
- 52:50Speaker 4: And he was homophobic.
- 52:51Speaker 2: That said something bad about TR, and then he got fired, too.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes. His name, what was his name?
- 52:56Speaker 2: TR Knight is now married to a man. What if
- 52:59Speaker 2: it was like TR Knight?
- 53:00Speaker 5: Washington?
- 53:00Speaker 2: It was something Washington. TR Knight is now married to
- 53:02Speaker 2: a woman.
- 53:03Speaker 4: No, he is married to a man. Isaiah Washington? Yeah.
- 53:07Speaker 4: Was that the homophobic guy on Grey's Anatomy?
- 53:09Speaker 2: There was just a lot to the history of Grey's
- 53:11Speaker 2: Anatomy back in the day. Shonda Rhimes' show was kind
- 53:15Speaker 2: of her first one. I mean, now she's done a
- 53:18Speaker 2: million things. So she did this article and she said,
- 53:22Speaker 2: so she adopted this daughter from Korea and she said,
- 53:27Speaker 2: I never got to see my baby because I was
- 53:28Speaker 2: working so much. Which, again, isn't Shonda Rhimes' fault. You
- 53:34Speaker 2: have a baby that's not it's very hard to do.
- 53:37Speaker 2: I think to do a medical drama is by far
- 53:39Speaker 2: the hardest thing for someone to do because the hours
- 53:43Speaker 2: and it's a single camera and all that verbiage and
- 53:46Speaker 2: language is very, very hard. And, um, so anyway, then
- 53:50Speaker 2: she let go. And in this us weekly article, she's like, um,
- 53:55Speaker 2: obviously now she's, her kids are older and who knows
- 53:59Speaker 2: what she's been, how much residual she gets off on
- 54:02Speaker 2: the shows that they play at the dry bar. The
- 54:04Speaker 2: movie's about 27 dresses and men and women think different,
- 54:09Speaker 2: whatever that dumb one was. And all these other ones
- 54:11Speaker 2: where she's always angry and beautiful and she's type A. Yeah,
- 54:18Speaker 2: I remember that one. She was such a bitch to
- 54:20Speaker 2: her sister.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Wasn't she in Roswell too, that show Roswell on the CW?
- 54:25Speaker 2: Anyway, in this she says, well, I would love to.
- 54:30Speaker 2: you know, talk to Sean and get back on the show.
- 54:33Speaker 2: So is the show just never ending?
- 54:34Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 54:35Speaker 2: It's like an SVU. It never has to end. We
- 54:38Speaker 2: can always just add new doctors. There can always be
- 54:41Speaker 2: new things going on. I've never really watched it, as
- 54:44Speaker 2: you can tell.
- 54:45Speaker 4: I'm trying to remember. She went on The View. Was
- 54:48Speaker 4: it The View? Where she was talking about, like, I
- 54:51Speaker 4: never saw my daughter. It was like her daughter's first
- 54:53Speaker 4: appearance on national television after she adopted her. Okay.
- 54:57Speaker 2: And then.
- 54:58Speaker 4: She was like, yeah, I had to go away. And
- 55:00Speaker 4: it was so weird because I was doing this movie where,
- 55:03Speaker 4: you know, the children in the movie, I was bonding
- 55:05Speaker 4: with them more than I was with my daughter.
- 55:07Speaker 2: No, that's this.
- 55:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and my daughter.
- 55:09Speaker 2: She said I had a child on grays that were triplets.
- 55:12Speaker 4: That's what it was.
- 55:12Speaker 2: And I was spending more time with those triplets than
- 55:14Speaker 2: my own daughter. Yeah.
- 55:15Speaker 4: Yeah. It's called your job.
- 55:17Speaker 2: It's called working.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Yeah. But now her daughter's like in her teens and
- 55:21Speaker 4: it's like.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it does seem fucked up. I remember reading. something
- 55:25Speaker 2: where someone wrote this article like, it's so sad, this
- 55:28Speaker 2: woman is a nanny. And she also has children and
- 55:31Speaker 2: her mother watches her kids so that she can be
- 55:35Speaker 2: a nanny for this woman. And isn't this fucked up
- 55:38Speaker 2: that this nanny has to be a nanny for other
- 55:40Speaker 2: children instead of her own? And I'm like, no, she's
- 55:43Speaker 2: a professional caregiver. And the woman that she's carrying, that
- 55:47Speaker 2: woman has to go be an attorney and she doesn't
- 55:51Speaker 2: get to be with her kids.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Some people have to work. Yeah, get over it.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Some women have to work. You said you wanted to work,
- 55:59Speaker 2: and now nobody wants to work, as Kim Kardashian would say. Women,
- 56:03Speaker 2: you can't have it all.
- 56:05Speaker 4: You just can't.
- 56:06Speaker 2: You can have it most.
- 56:07Speaker 4: You can't have it all. You've had some time off
- 56:09Speaker 4: to bond with your daughter.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Well, now that's why. Now she's doing this article.
- 56:13Speaker 4: She's like, well, I bonded with her. I'm ready to
- 56:15Speaker 4: work again.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Now my kid's at school all day, and they're 12,
- 56:17Speaker 2: and they don't want to be around me, so can
- 56:18Speaker 2: I fucking get on set and have some craft services
- 56:21Speaker 2: and Hang out with Shonda Rhimes again?
- 56:23Speaker 4: Hey, girl! Mama needs some cheese cubes. Let's go.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Hey, girl, remember how we used to cackle?
- 56:28Speaker 4: God. But didn't she die on Grey's? She did. Yeah.
- 56:32Speaker 6: No.
- 56:33Speaker 4: Yes, she did. Look it up, Annie. She didn't.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I don't have to look this up.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Spoiler alert.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Whoa, Annie is.
- 56:38Speaker 4: Didn't she get diagnosed with cancer and die? Yes, she did,
- 56:41Speaker 4: but she did not die.
- 56:42Speaker 2: She did not die from cancer, so she absolutely can
- 56:44Speaker 2: come back. She wouldn't be saying this in Us Weekly
- 56:46Speaker 2: if she died. This isn't a soap opera.
- 56:48Speaker 4: I was going to say.
- 56:49Speaker 2: She's going to come back as a twin. She puts
- 56:51Speaker 2: Alex Karem out of the show. Really? You know how
- 56:53Speaker 2: I always talk about wanting to clone? Like I wanted
- 56:56Speaker 2: to clone myself and raise it. Or clone my boys
- 57:00Speaker 2: and raise like 2.0 versions of them where I like
- 57:02Speaker 2: fed them better and like got them tutors earlier in life.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Like the multiverse? Yeah.
- 57:06Speaker 2: And so if she did die, 100%, it's a medical drama.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Someone cloned her. Yeah. She comes back and she's just
- 57:15Speaker 2: a nicer, older version of herself.
- 57:17Speaker 4: Like Dolly the sheep.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I saw this from the New York Post. Mm-hmm. More
- 57:22Speaker 2: than 10 million of high-end knockoffs are seized in lower Manhattan.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Now they are? Because haven't they all just been out
- 57:29Speaker 2: on the streets being sold? I was there and you
- 57:33Speaker 2: drive by Canal Street. They're out. It's not like in
- 57:37Speaker 2: Dubai or Abu Dhabi with Where they go, come, come,
- 57:42Speaker 2: and they take you to the, like we saw in
- 57:44Speaker 2: Sex and the City, or where you go to a
- 57:47Speaker 2: cul-de-sac in a high-end neighborhood, and you go to those parties,
- 57:52Speaker 2: or you know some weird person in Canada that can
- 57:55Speaker 2: send it to you in the mail. There's all that.
- 57:58Speaker 2: But this was blatant stuff that people bought.
- 58:00Speaker 4: You want a poochie bag? We got a poochie bag.
- 58:02Speaker 2: And then today, they just sent the cops over. Today,
- 58:05Speaker 2: I'm very confused.
- 58:06Speaker 4: This has been going on since like the 80s.
- 58:09Speaker 6: Yes.
- 58:09Speaker 4: I'd say even sooner. You want videotapes? You want DVDs?
- 58:13Speaker 4: You want a Rolex? You want, yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 2: And all of a sudden, they're like, what? We've blatantly
- 58:17Speaker 2: been selling this shit. And then other people are like, really?
- 58:20Speaker 2: That's what they're cracking down on? Meanwhile, Kanye West said
- 58:23Speaker 2: the IRS froze his accounts because he owes more than
- 58:25Speaker 2: $ 50 million in taxes.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 58:29Speaker 2: And Kim, their divorce is final and she's supposed to
- 58:31Speaker 2: get $ 200, 000 a month. I'm like, good luck with that.
- 58:34Speaker 2: I don't know if that's happening.
- 58:35Speaker 4: Does she need it?
- 58:37Speaker 2: That's the settlement.
- 58:38Speaker 4: I mean.
- 58:39Speaker 2: We'll see. Julie Chrisley of Todd and Julie Chrisley is
- 58:44Speaker 2: going to go to the same prison as Ghislaine Maxwell.
- 58:49Speaker 4: Ghislaine Maxwell?
- 58:49Speaker 3: Ghislaine.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Ghislaine. I like to call her Ghislaine.
- 58:52Speaker 4: Ghislaine. Ghislaine. Ghislaine. Ghislaine.
- 58:57Speaker 2: I don't really even know if that's true.
- 58:59Speaker 4: No.
- 58:59Speaker 2: This is from Christian Gray Snow, who's very funny. I
- 59:03Speaker 2: hope it is. I mean, because I know that Giz...
- 59:10Speaker 2: what is it?
- 59:10Speaker 4: Ghislaine.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Ghislaine was, before she was sentenced, they put her in
- 59:15Speaker 2: horrible conditions.
- 59:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Prison. But I guess now that she's been sentenced since federal,
- 59:19Speaker 2: she's in like the okay state. So that's where she's
- 59:22Speaker 2: supposed to go. Wouldn't that be interesting, though, like if
- 59:25Speaker 2: you are a celebrity and you do go to prison
- 59:29Speaker 2: and you're like, we should meet.
- 59:31Speaker 5: We should.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Hey. I mean, we've got.
- 59:34Speaker 4: You get it.
- 59:35Speaker 2: We have years here. Like, we should hang. Like, we
- 59:39Speaker 2: probably know some of the same people, have stories to
- 59:42Speaker 2: exchange for days, even though she is from a rich family.
- 59:48Speaker 2: legacy of rich people and fucked upness, Ghislaine from her
- 59:53Speaker 2: childhood in England, and Julie is a grifter married to
- 59:58Speaker 2: a gay guy in the South who did reality TV
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: and made fake docs, and the other one is a
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: sex trafficker. I still think they could have some fun
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: bologna sandwich lunches.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I think so, too. Yeah, they could learn how to
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: sharpen some shanks. They could weightlift.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Just get to know each other. Just get to do
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: a podcast together. I'm sure there's a podcast studio within
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: the prisons. If there's not, that's going to be the
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: next thing that's going to be happening. Podcasting from prison.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: They could help each other write their book.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: The prison podcast.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: God.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: If these walls could talk. They can. Right now.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: My guess here today and forever is.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: On Julie and G, we tell it all. This podcast
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: is unfiltered. Two girlfriends talking. Boy, have we been through it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: You think it was hard to be with Todd Chrisley?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Let me tell you about Jeffrey.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: We've got the tops and bottoms of the stories this week.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Anyway, this girl from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: she's like, Want to know my secret? Oh, my God.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I'm coming out with something soon. This is Whitney Rose.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: And she talks like this. I'm coming out with something soon.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Anyway, I put a prediction in the comments. I said
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: essential oils and a women empowerment retreat for spirituality and growth.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: So she's going to. Launch a weekend retreat.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Then you can go for therapy, yoga.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Sound bath.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Sound bath, eating healthy food, going on a hike.
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: But you could also pick up her skincare and she's
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: adding essential oils.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: At the bodega at the end of the retreat?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: And stop off at the gift shop and pick up
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: your essential Whitney Wild Rose Lavender Hibiscus essential oils.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: And this one is to get you going in the morning.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: This one is when you just need to like chill.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: Yeah, if you just want to.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: This one is for meditation.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Or just get Buddhist meth and just call it a day.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: This one is.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: This one is for, like, if you have any soreness
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: after the hike, you rub it on your outer thigh.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: This one is for after a night of walking in heels.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: Yeah. Very relatable, I think.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: So we'll see if I'm right.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: Yeah, probably.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Let me see what else I have for you. Oh,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: my God. This was crazy. Carnival Cruise.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: This guy....
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: We don't know how he fell off the ship.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: Oh, this guy that they found in the ocean?
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: This guy fell off the ship. So he's with his
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: family on a carnival cruise. He's with his sister. They're
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: hanging out. They're boozing all day. And they all go
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: to bed. And they wake up. And they're at breakfast.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: And they're like, we don't know where our brother is. Like, wait,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: he didn't come home. No, I haven't seen him since
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: last night. Well, you never came back to the room.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: They tell the... The people on the ship.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: The captain.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like, oh my God. They do go back
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: looking around. He was in the water for like 15 hours.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: No more than that. It was like 24 hours.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I think it was 21.5.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: From the last time they know. But he doesn't say how...
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: I don't know how he fell in. But he kept
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: getting in trouble for doing his vape in undesignated smoking areas.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: Same.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: So they think... I think he was drunk and he
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: walked out just like, where can I get out and
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: do this? And something wasn't completely secure or whatever. And
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: he accidentally fell over.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: That's a miracle he survived in the first place.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Then some other ship or somebody, whatever, another ship saw
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: him waving a sock. He had no clothes on because
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: maybe he was trying to wave over things in the past.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: In the hours he was out there. And they said
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: he was so near death, but he's totally fine now.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Amazing that they found him. A, there's nothing more terrifying,
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: nothing more terrifying than being stranded at sea.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: I could not even imagine. He probably took his clothes off.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: Being a survivalist myself.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Yes, what are you supposed to do?
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: I think he took his clothes off because.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: He was weighing them down.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: He was weighing them down, A. And B, it's kind
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: of hot. You know, when those rescuers like pull you
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: out of the water, give them a little show, you know.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: The dick was so small by then, though.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: So small. He had hypothermia.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Ugh.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: And also, like, in the middle of the fucking night,
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: you're just treading water with nothing around you. And then
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: something bumps your foot.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I've talked about this so many times. The scariest movie
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: was Open Water.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: Open Water. We talked about it, I think, on this podcast. Terrifying.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: It freaks me out.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: Ugh.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: And when I've been on big cruise ships, I've, like...
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I have that weird, where I know everyone does, where
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: you're just imagining, what if I just jumped over right now?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: What if I just jumped over? And I'm like, stop
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: thinking about that.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: That's what I want to know. Because, I mean, there
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: have been instances where people have fallen off of cruise ships,
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: jumped off of cruise ships because they're on drugs or whatever,
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: and they just die because of the fall and the impact.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: So I'm like, how high up were you? What level
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: were you on? But, like, what a crazy story. And, like,
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: I remember they pulled him in and he was, like,
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: shivering because it's, like, I'm sure the water was freezing.
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: That's a miracle in itself.
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: And, like, you're just drinking salt water all day and, like,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: you know. And it's crazy how, like, the exposure, like,
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: he was just charred, just burned.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: And what do you tell yourself? Like, I'd love to get, hey, listen, guy,
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: if you want to come on Juicy Scoop, what do
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: you tell yourself to keep going and to be and
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: what's going through your head and, like, And also, like,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: do you really not, do you remember hitting the water,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: or were you so wasted that the water's what, like,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: woke you up, and then you're like, holy shit, and
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: the boat's like, like, gone.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Well, I would like to mention it is the holidays.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: And one of my favorite Christmas movies is Titanic.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Oh. Me too.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: I love watching Titanic during the holidays. Oh, my God.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: That's such a good idea. I'm going to watch it again.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: If Die Hard can be a Christmas movie, Titanic can
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: be a Christmas movie.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: You know? But on Titanic, the chef stayed alive. Do
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: you remember the chef? He was actually in the movie,
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: and he was a real person.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: And when the ship started sinking, he started drinking. Drinking.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: In real life?
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: In real life.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: The chef survived?
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: The chef survived. Okay. Because it thinned his blood so much,
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: the alcohol, that he could actually tread in the water
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: without the hypothermia. So he actually stayed alive.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: So you think this guy being wasted is what saved him?
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. Totally. And in the actual James Cameron movie, Titanic,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: you see that character kind of stumbling around while the
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: ship is sinking. They gave a little nod to that character.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: But yeah, if you watch Titanic again, there's a guy
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: and he's a chef and he's like kind of bumbling
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: around because he knows the ship's going down. So he's like, well, shit,
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: I might as well just call it a night. And
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: he survived because the alcohol thinned his blood and he
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: didn't die of hypothermia. So if you're going to get
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: drunk on a Carnival cruise ship, go for it, because
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: if you fall off, you're going to be OK when
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: the Coast Guard finds you. Isn't that insane?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: But they also may never find you. So it is insane.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: I mean, fair enough. They might also not find you.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Let's talk about White Lotus.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: We'll do this at the end in case you're not
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: watching it, but you really should be. It's once a week.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: We have two episodes left. It's season two.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: It's too soon.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: And I have not talked about it on the show,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: and I just want to talk about it. So this
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: one is, it's a resort. It's in Italy.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Sicily.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Beautiful. And it's, Jennifer Coolidge is the only returning person
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: from the first season of And there's really a couple
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: different storylines. So there's Jennifer Coolidge's storyline where her husband
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: is probably cheating on her and he leaves. So she's
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: there with her assistant.
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: Portia.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: And they meet these rich gay guys that are gay.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: And rich gay guys, yes. These are some upscale gays.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: And I could completely relate. to meeting some great gay
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: guys that just like take me under their wing and
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: they're like, you've got to come. Um, she's like, Oh
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: my God, Portia, we're going to go to their, on
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: their yacht and go and, you know, do you have
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: some real nice things to wear? I hope you do.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: And so they're so excited. And, um, So, so then,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: and the Porsche assistant, she's thrilled because the gay, um,
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: rich guy, the main guy who's has a nephew who
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: is hotter than shit and has an English accent and
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: a twinkle in his eye He's from Essex. And they bone,
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: and so they all go on the yacht, and that's amazing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: And I want to get to the cliffhanger at the end.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Then there's this other foursome couple, which is very juicy.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: And this is Aubrey.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: Aubrey Plaza.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Plaza, who's great. She's married to her husband. They don't
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: have kids, but they've been married a while. And he
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: is this guy, and he's cute, and he's a runner, and...
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: And he just made a ton of money selling his business.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: And his old college roommate, who's a successful financial guy,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: who's hot as shit.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Hot as shit. God.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: And I will say, people might, he reminds me of
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Nick Vial from The Bachelor.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: Sure, I could, yeah, I could see that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: And he has a little bit of a lish with
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: his big teeth.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: And he's British in real life, because of course.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so, because he has a, in real life, he
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: has a British accent. I don't know if by doing
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: an American accent, there's just a little bit of a lish,
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: but Hot as shit.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: And it's always the hot British guy who's like, well,
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: I wanted to do a full frontal nude scene, but
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: they cut it out. And you're like, oh, okay.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: And so he's got this hot wife, and they have
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: two little kids.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: I love the wife.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: So it starts out, and the Aubrey Plaza character is
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: kind of cynical, and she's sort of annoyed by the
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: fact that they're so lovey-dovey and all this stuff.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: But he, the Nick Viall character, he is flirty with her.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: So I don't want to give anything away, but I
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: love this juicy dynamic. Overall of a show, it's a
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: little slow for me, but I love it. It's just
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: the same, and I like that it's once a week.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: Heather, it's Italia. It's not supposed to be fast, you know?
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: We just take things as they are. And, you know,
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: we'll get around to it when we get to it.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: I will say I enjoyed the head of the resort
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: more in the first season.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Oh, yes. Have you noticed the parallels of the seasons? Oh, yes.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Explain the parallels.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Well, just like how the first season there was, you know,
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: obviously there was a death.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: The first one was in Hawaii.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Yes. And then there was the very... the gay concierge
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: and you have this one, you have, what's her name, Victoria?
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Well, I like that there's like themes that, I mean,
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: I like that it covers everything. There's like, there's surprises,
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: there's infidelity, there's mystery, there's family.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: There's the perfect.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: Life but is it so perfect? Yeah, there's, and like
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: in the first one, I really liked Connie Britton's family dynamic.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: I did too, yeah.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Because that was extremely relatable to me.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Of course, I bet it was.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: That, you know, they put, So in the first one,
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: which you guys definitely should watch too, maybe watch that
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: first if you want, and you're looking for something to see.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: So Connie Britton comes, and she's kind of almost like
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: the head of Goop or something. She's very successful.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: A scoop, a juicy scoop.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and she has a husband and a horrible bitchy
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: teenage daughter.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: Sidney Sweeney, yeah.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Who's super mean to the younger brother. And what I
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: related to is just, and I talked about this on
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: the show, so they're staying at the middle of a resort,
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: which is I think the Four Seasons Maui. And so
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: they have a one-bedroom suite. So the parents have the
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: bedroom and the teenage girl and her friend sleep in
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: the pull-out couch in the living room. But then they're like, ew, weird,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: gross brother. Take your roll-away bed and go in this small, like,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: kitchen closet. And that's where you're going to sleep. It's
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: so hot. The kid's like, And I thought about that,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: and because I saw that, I was like, wait a minute, Peter.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: This is our problem traveling with the kids, is that
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: we try to cheap out, and poor Brandon, the third child,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: was always getting fucked, always getting the bad pull-out bed.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: And so I've been thinking about that, too, and, like,
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: we're doing this house in La Quinta, and I'm like,
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: we're going, oh, well, we'll make the office where we
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: record Juicy Scoop. That can be Brandon's room. And we're
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: looking at these different pull-out couches and stuff, and I'm like,
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: wait a minute, Peter.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: I feel like every.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Pull-out couch sucks and is uncomfortable. And I don't want
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: our youngest child to be the kid from White Lotus
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: that's always getting fucked.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Yeah, because then he'll just take that mattress and go
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: sleep in the desert.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: And then stay in the island.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: Anyway, so.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: That is, this is, it's all really juicy. And then
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: there's the three Italian, the three generation.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: I was going to say, I was like, you got
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: to talk about Albie and his, his dad and grandpa.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: So then there's the guy from the Sopranos, his old
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: pervy dad and his younger Stanford son, who's a sweetheart.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Sweetheart.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: And they're all there to like go and see their
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Italian history. And there's a lot to it. I don't,
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: I don't know how much I, and then there's these
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: two Italian prostitutes.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: The two, Lucia. And her cohort or whatever. And the
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: prostitutes are everything. These girls are just sleeping with the
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: entire cast.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: The entire cast.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: And then what I love is if we go into
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: what you were going to talk about, which I know
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: what you were going to talk about when Jennifer Coolidge
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: goes with the gays. Portia and the son, Albie, were
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: kind of like the weird oddballs. She was the assistant
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: and Jennifer Coolidge was like, get out of here. I
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: don't want to see you ever again.
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: Because Greg doesn't want to see you. So she and
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Albie had to like kind of connect and be the
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: oddballs on this trip.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: And you're like, oh, they're going to hook up. But
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: then she met hot dick Essex boy.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: And she's like, I know I should like the nice
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Stanford guy. Yeah. But I really like this.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: I'm on vacation.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: And I like this is who I want. And I'm
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: watching this and I'm like. yes, yes, this is what
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: you should be doing. You're a 24-year-old, whatever she is, assistant.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: This guy's hot. No, he's not going to be your husband. No,
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: you're never going to see him again. Who cares? Like,
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: fuck his brains out. And, okay, so spoiler alert right now, okay?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Because we have to talk about this.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: Sorry, Annie. I don't know if you're watching this.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: I don't really care.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: Okay, so.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: I keep... Okay, so now I'm going to talk about
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: what I really thought was going to happen.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: From the very beginning, I thought that of the two couples,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: two heterosexual couples, I thought, no, the twist is that
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: the two husbands, the rich guy who sold his company,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: and they were only like 30-something, and the hot Nick
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Viall character were secret lovers in college, and they're going
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: to fuck on the side.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Same.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: And that's going to be the secret.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: That's what I thought, too. Could still be. We don't know.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: I don't think they're... Okay, maybe not. But did I
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: dream this? Or was there a part where after... So
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: the two wives go off for a night somewhere else
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: in another Italian town. And they start... They hang out
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: with the two hookers. And the one Nick Vile character,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: he ends up sleeping with the main hooker. But the
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: other guy doesn't. He just gets really high and stands
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: in a corner. So afterwards... the guy comes over and
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: he's like still hungover laying on the bed and the
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Nick Vowell character goes, I just want to be inside you.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. You heard that.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Was that real or was that bro frat joking?
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: I think it was frat joking, yeah. Okay. But also
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: I was kind of, that's where I was kind of like,
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: go on.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, well, this is what I've been
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: waiting for this whole time.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: I know, I was like, wait a minute, yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Okay, so, but now they reveal that He goes, you,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: Nick Viall, always went after girls I wanted.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: You had that condition. Because you knew I.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Was the smarter, more successful guy, so that's what you
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: had on me, was that you were like more, just
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: more of a player.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: You always want something that makes you look better if
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: somebody else has something that you want. Right. Which is
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: then he's touching Aubrey Plaza at the dinner table.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: But I wondered... Mm-hmm. So I thought in the very
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: beginning when they go to get him swim shorts and
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: he changes in front of her, the Nick Val character
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: stays in front of Aubrey, I was like, I thought
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: they were going to fuck right there.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: No.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: And now I'm like, okay. is there going to be
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: a flashback moment where they have?
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: No, I don't think they have.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: So he is just making the moves too.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: He's going to be making the moves. And I think
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: this is the moment for Aubrey's husband. He now knows
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: that Aubrey knows that he's into her because now she's
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: going to use that as bait to be like, she's
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: the one who's like, why weren't you honest with me
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: about the condom? Like you guys, obviously she's like, I
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: was gone for a night and you did Molly and
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: fucked hookers. Like what? Right. And so now she's going
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: to be like, okay, we haven't had sex on this
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: entire trip. Right. They haven't. He was caught masturbating by Aubrey.
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: Masturbating to women. To women. But still, he could be bi, whatever.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: I think he's really straight.
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: I think so, too. But I think this is going
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: to be her challenging her husband to be like, how
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: bad do you want me to be your wife? So
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: I think there is going to be a clash of
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: the bros, the friendship. And we still don't know who
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: the body in the water was at the beginning. Because
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: they said, remember, they said someone was dead. It's clearly
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: not the wife of Nick Vialli. But they also said
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: there were multiple bodies that were found on the island.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: When did they say that?
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: At the very first episode. She was like, oh, we
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: found a body in the water. He was like, actually,
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: there's more, too.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Who says that?
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: The hotel director to the lady.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Oh, and the hotel director is a lesbian. And so
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: that's kind of fun. It's so much fun. Okay, but then,
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: of course, the juiciest part.
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: Yes, go.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Okay, so, spoilers, triple spoiler. Okay, so.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Jennifer Coolidge goes with the high upscale gaze and they
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: go to the opera and they come back and they're
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: staying at the huge mansion. And she kind of is
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: like wakes up, something wakes her up. But before that,
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: we see the young assistant Portia with the hot English guy.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: And he makes out with her at the room and
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: he's like, I'm going to come right back. I have
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: to do something for my uncle. And I immediately thought
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: he's going... He has to service one of these guys.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: Yes. I thought the same thing, too.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: And so she... Jennifer Coolidge wakes up and she hears something.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: This was like you in Napa, by the way.
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: And I.
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: Me and Evan. No kidding.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you two doing?
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: Nothing. Go back to bed. It's just Cabernet Night Terrors. But.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: So I'm, but I was thinking her walking in on
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: gay sex is just way too obvious and so not
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: a big deal.
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: Good for you.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: So I was like, I thought she was going to
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: see like, I thought we were ready to see satanic worship.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: I thought the same thing for a second. I was like,
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: we're going to.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: See something different. We're going to see something that puts
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: this to, because. For HBO in 2022, this ain't shit.
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: I mean, shock us.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: This is not shit. Like, if this was seven years ago, whoa.
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: You had us with rimming in season one. What do
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: you got for season two? And I thought the same
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: thing because I only watch television now with the subtitles on.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: So it's like the subtitles come on and it's like
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: moaning grunts, snorting, sloshing. Yeah.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Let's ask Annie, what do you think Jennifer Coolidge walks
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: in and sees? I feel like the satanic worship is
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: the best. Wrong. Not wrong. She sees the hot English
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: nephew butt boning.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: Butt boning, Heather.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Butt boning. Oh, I want to be classy. Butt boning
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: his uncle. Is it a three-way? No, just the two
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: of them. His uncle? His uncle. So it's like when
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: he goes, I have to do something, it's like... Like I,
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: you know, that's what I thought. Like I have to
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: service my uncle for this lifestyle. Like we have an arrangement.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: I have to do this. And so everything's going through
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: my head. I did rewind it three times.
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Because I was like, I have to see this. And
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: so I think what's going to happen.
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: Okay. I have my prediction.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: She's going to be like, whoa, this is really bad
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: because this is his nephew. So this is incestual, but
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: it could have been molestation. And was he grooming him forever?
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: But I think it's going to turn out that he's
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: not his nephew.
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: Correct.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: He's an escort that they paid. And he's a pay
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: for gay.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: He's gay for pay.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Gay for pay. And he does really like girls. That's
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: what he'd like to do. But he has no problem
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: being a top.
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: He's a horny libido.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: No problem being a top and doing stuff for money.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: And to him, it doesn't mean anything. It's not a
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: big deal.
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: You are absolutely correct on this. Because I think that's
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: the thing. It's like, oh, this is my nephew.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: I think he's like passed around to all of his friends.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: I was expecting satanic orgy as well.
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: Didn't get it, but I do think that's right. And also,
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: I think they are scamming Jennifer Coolidge because they're like, oh,
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: we want to go to this villa. Oh, we're going
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: to go see Madame Butterfly. And they're going to leave
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: her with the tab because in a previous episode.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: At Adelvey's?
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: Oh, God, I wish.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: No, but it's kind of an Anna Delvey situation.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, in the previous episode.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: No, but he said this is his place, though. He
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: owns it. It's a scam.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: It's not his place. Because Nick Vial said, he goes,
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: all of these, no one's rich in Italy. He says
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: they all say they own these palazzos. And they don't.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: Everyone's poor. And hot Essex boy took portion of that restaurant.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: And then they dashed and dined. Dined and dashed. He's like, oh,
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: I don't have my wallet.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Ha, ha, ha.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: Yeah, they're all broke. They're leaving Jennifer Coolidge. They're going
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: to take advantage of her money and leave her with
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: the bill. Watch.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Is there anything sadder for a girl that loves to
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: hang out with gays?
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: Leave her with the bill.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: To leave you with the bill, which is never, again,
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: my gays don't overly party and my gays pick up
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: the bill.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: I feel like the luckiest chick on earth.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: That is so sad. You are the white lotus.
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: Which also sounds like Frozen 2, the theme song.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: A little bit.
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: But also, I think it's kind of amazing because now Albie,
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: the son, is dating the hooker. Right. And now Portia
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: is also now dating the hooker. Hookers are back, guys.
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: Hookers are... This is a strong hooker-themed situation. Mm-hmm.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: Um.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Juicy, juicy. I'm excited for the next two episodes.
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: I know. I loved it. It's a beautiful season.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I mean, I've been saying I want to do my
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: Italy trip, and so this is really inciting, making me
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: want to do it.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: Someone's going to get their head cut off.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: That's my prediction, because that whole goddess thing, that head
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: that they keep showing, someone's going to get beheaded.
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: And on that note.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Love you. Justin.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Yes, this was fun.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: Just Saying is the podcast. Follow Justin Martindale on Instagram
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: and whatnot. And anything else?
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: I was going to say, I want to say thanks
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: because people have been sending me their Spotify wrap-up. And
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: you and I are in both of them.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Yes, I love that. I shared that one.
- 1:24:04Speaker 4: It was so sweet.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: Whatever that cutie did, I shared.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: So sweet. And I can't wait to listen to my
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: Spotify wrap-up, which is kind of sad. So great.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: And we'll see you soon. Bye. Bye, Henry.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
