- 0:39samuel t at international flavor um I was
- 0:45looking at a story here to start off
- 0:49the night and it's got a little minute
- 0:5135 second thing the title of the story
- 0:55and there's some there's some Some videos that
- 0:59go along with it, but I think there's
- 1:01only one that I can listen to and
- 1:04it's a rather long story Well, actually, you
- 1:07know what?
- 1:08No, it's that's two stories where it's just
- 1:10gonna it's this is about the planned chaos
- 1:15in bangladesh and Interestingly the story starts with
- 1:21them claim these riots that are the 2024
- 1:25Bangladeshi riots they're talking about this now And
- 1:29so they're talking about a certain u.s
- 1:32agency for international development stuff that they are
- 1:37talking about and so I I want to
- 1:39listen to this and I I I It'd
- 1:43be nice to put out who they are
- 1:44But a lot of people including me, by
- 1:46the way don't know all kinds of stuff
- 1:49about bangladesh um I know that it's uh
- 1:56That they're they've had an overthrow and uh,
- 1:59here's a story that came out today and
- 2:02it is entitled u.s. Agency for international
- 2:07development and the clintons Are behind bangladesh government
- 2:13overthrow according to the ex-minister.
- 2:16His name is sheik hasina And he you
- 2:19know, uh I'm, sorry.
- 2:22He was the I got that backward.
- 2:24He's the guy who left the country forced
- 2:26him out.
- 2:27It is according to uh mohibul hassan chowdhury
- 2:31and he he had an interview this past
- 2:34week and it's uh, It's only a minute
- 2:36and 35 seconds.
- 2:38So and he was being interviews, but let's
- 2:41Share the story with you so in 2024
- 2:44there were riots in bangladesh and they led
- 2:47to the to the overthrow and the getting
- 2:50rid of prime minister sheik hasina and they
- 2:53were backed by According to the allegations this
- 2:56guy by u.s. Agency for international development
- 2:59and hillary clinton's family This according to this
- 3:03former cabinet minister and chief negotiator Chowdhury, and
- 3:08he said in an exclusive interview that the
- 3:10entire interview will be broadcast tomorrow But they're
- 3:13giving you little little bits and pieces of
- 3:16to talk about today And his quote was
- 3:19he said certain actions of ngos, especially from
- 3:23the united states To name a few the
- 3:26u.s. Agency for international development the international
- 3:29republican institute They were running campaigns against our
- 3:33government for a while since 2018 he said
- 3:38And the accusations come more than a year
- 3:41after You know his his dramatic fall from
- 3:45power And they're in august of 2024.
- 3:48There were weeks of student-led protests And
- 3:52you know national violence.
- 3:54I don't know if you followed I followed
- 3:55it a little bit But it took some
- 3:58700 lives Hasina who had led bangladesh for
- 4:0315 years and was the head of the
- 4:05family as a whammy league party Fled the
- 4:08country as as she was overthrown Um And
- 4:12nobel prize laureate mahamad Yanus became chief advisor
- 4:18of the inner in government So according to
- 4:21chowdhury The unrest was not a spontaneous youth
- 4:25revolt, but a carefully planned operation bankrolled by
- 4:29western interests There's a nexus between The clinton
- 4:33family in the interim yanis regime from a
- 4:36very long past And these activities have been
- 4:39going on for a very long time They
- 4:42aren't open but funding of clandestine NGOs was
- 4:46was going on they were hell-bent on
- 4:49changing the government of bangladesh This is what
- 4:52the u.s. Does we go places we
- 4:54change their government and steal all their resources
- 4:57now turn them over to Friends of the
- 5:00u.s. Government we we do that Um,
- 5:03so he zeroed in on the flow of
- 5:04us aid questioning where millions In u.s.
- 5:08Agency for international development dollars had vanished.
- 5:10Gee, there's a surprise Lots of rich people
- 5:14lots of people get rich and governments get
- 5:16overthrown Um iri was active independent republican institute
- 5:20u.s. Agency independent or international development funding
- 5:24We're going nowhere.
- 5:26Where had that money gone to it was
- 5:28destined for regime change activities.
- 5:30That's a quote Chaos was carefully planned with
- 5:34this money and then the chaos was turned
- 5:37into a big riot Since yanis took over
- 5:40as interim leader Dhaka has been shifting focus
- 5:43away from new delhi And toward islamabad in
- 5:45an effort to rebuild relations that have been
- 5:48strained since 71 when east pakistan gained dependence
- 5:51as bangladesh millions of bengalis were killed in
- 5:55the 1971 war and bangladesh has sought a
- 5:58formal apology from pakistan from war crimes of
- 6:01its military during that conflict and then defense
- 6:05Minister aziz ahmed stated in his country that
- 6:08his country condemned and regretted any transgression that
- 6:11may have been committed Now I would like
- 6:13to listen to this little video before we
- 6:15go on to a separate topic Let's see
- 6:17if I can get it correct here We
- 6:23saw this um Ouster of the sheikh haseen
- 6:27our government was that because she refused to
- 6:29take dictations certain actions of some ngos, especially
- 6:34from the united states Naming a few I
- 6:38mean us aid for example or international republican
- 6:42institute they were running campaign against our government
- 6:47for a while Since 2018 and there is
- 6:51a nexus between the hillary clinton family the
- 6:54clinton family and the interim yunus regime from
- 7:00a very long past these Activities were going
- 7:04on for a long time.
- 7:06They weren't very open but funding of clandestine
- 7:10NGOs were going on they were hell-bent
- 7:13on Changing the government in bangladesh.
- 7:16Iri was active us aids fundings were going
- 7:20to Nowhere, where had that money gone to?
- 7:24It was destined for regime change activities Rappers
- 7:29were being paid for cultural activists were being
- 7:32paid for the hijra community the transgender the
- 7:35third gender community were being paid for whilst
- 7:38the extremists the jihadi Militants were also being
- 7:43paid for to fight those liberal elements So
- 7:46a chaos was carefully planned with this money
- 7:50And then the chaos Was turned into a
- 7:54big riot Well, I wonder if there will
- 7:59be any stories about this in the u
- 8:02.s So that's just a little preview of
- 8:04what we're going to look at.
- 8:06So try to follow that this week i'm
- 8:08going to Make sure to uh Save this
- 8:12story and then follow it and see if
- 8:15anything else comes if it's very short blurb
- 8:17I just came across it about an hour
- 8:19ago um I had a couple of other
- 8:23major topics that I wanted to talk about
- 8:26tonight because uh, there's been All weekend it
- 8:30started like on friday and all weekend.
- 8:33Uh, it's been talked about that.
- 8:36Uh, Sergei lavrov is missing sergei's gone.
- 8:40What happened to sergei?
- 8:42There's a rift between sergei lavrov and vladimir
- 8:45putin sergei is the longest serving Uh, sergei
- 8:50lavrov is the longest serving um foreign minister,
- 8:54excuse me foreign minister serving, uh In the
- 8:58in the world.
- 8:59He's been there for 20 25 26 years
- 9:02I think he had his 25th anniversary and
- 9:04he's in his 26th year right now and
- 9:07uh, uh, very interesting um The the take
- 9:13on this and I was seeing them pop
- 9:14up But nothing from any real source and
- 9:18it looked to me like classic, um attempts
- 9:22to to uh, I don't know create a
- 9:25news story to try to get something viral
- 9:27which apparently on multiple levels was uh, Six,
- 9:33how do I want to say that?
- 9:34That's not the way I want to put
- 9:35it But but on with as many stories
- 9:37as went out about it.
- 9:39It was some kind of a concerted effort
- 9:42To perhaps create some story of a conflict
- 9:45between Uh putin and lavrov, uh, that would
- 9:49be very interesting indeed if that were the
- 9:52case Um, but peskov came out Zakharova came
- 9:57out said, you know, it's nonsense Yawning, sorry
- 10:00about that and say that that is absolutely
- 10:03not the truth, um so There were a
- 10:08couple of things he missed like he didn't
- 10:10go to the un security council the last
- 10:13minute as the president now that's a surprise
- 10:15for me too that he didn't that he
- 10:18was not the one that was acting as
- 10:20the uh, the uh top during russia's presidency
- 10:26of the un security council, uh presidency because
- 10:30um, he he was not there at the
- 10:33summing up of it, but maria zakharova did
- 10:36a uh, In her briefing on friday she
- 10:39talked about what happened in russia's presidency And
- 10:45basically, uh her she has she gives a
- 10:48three hour And two and a half to
- 10:51three hour summary Every friday You know it
- 10:56comes out and and you can watch it
- 10:59and so she talked about the she she
- 11:01gave a summing up of it They had
- 11:0322 formal meetings Uh talking about crises in
- 11:07lots of reasons plus two flagship debate debates
- 11:11october 23 about the middle east october 24
- 11:15on un day about the un's future and
- 11:19and restoring the organization's central organizational role She
- 11:26was stressing that rebuilding trust hinges on adherence
- 11:31to the charter and talked talked a little
- 11:33bit about um uh the fact that certain
- 11:39countries namely america Uh doesn't have to follow
- 11:44the rules and and this hegemony is always
- 11:47Always present and she talked about multipolarity and
- 11:51where they were trying to to go And
- 11:54talked about in rebuilding this trust in adapting
- 11:57the un to the world's Multipolar reality in
- 12:02which member states And not secretariats lead and
- 12:06you know, they each are are equal and
- 12:08she highlighted open debate um talked about the
- 12:13women peace and security movement and uh things
- 12:18along those lines then she got into the
- 12:20ukraine war the attacks, uh on civilian harms,
- 12:24uh, which this is one of her Oh
- 12:29a common theme for her that is continually
- 12:32put out and i'm not against it I
- 12:35mean, I think it's I think it's accurate,
- 12:37you know, they talk about the the Civilian
- 12:41harm she you know always talks about kiev
- 12:44continuing to strike on civilians In russia, and
- 12:49she listed in the past week 70 russian
- 12:52civilian casualties eight dead 63 wounded including children
- 12:57incidents in belgrade, um Where a drone chased
- 13:01the district chief's car in bryansk a drone
- 13:04strike attacked a car injuring two In donetsk
- 13:08and her son there and lethal drone hits
- 13:10in volga grad.
- 13:12She references videos Of the the same one
- 13:14I told you about last week.
- 13:17That was just disgusting Uh, two unarmed civilians
- 13:20one and one carrying it on his knees
- 13:23praying and carrying a white flag Killed near
- 13:26kupyansk by ukrainian drone operators um And then
- 13:30she talked about the extensive criminal prosecution of
- 13:35ukrainian personnel um And she did name a
- 13:39bunch of individuals in turn, you know saying
- 13:41how much they were, uh, they were put
- 13:44into uh prison, there's a 1151 defendants including
- 13:51uh 20 to 23 of them that went
- 13:54to jail so far.
- 13:56Um, so then Uh, she's talking about financing
- 14:00the war religion and memory Um on the
- 14:05ukrainian orthodox church.
- 14:07She said kiev is pushing liquidation and asset
- 14:11seizure in uh In favor of the orthodox
- 14:17church of ukraine in the ukrainian orthodox church,
- 14:21which was basically, uh subject Not subject to
- 14:24but used to be called the russian orthodox
- 14:26church but then they wanted to change it
- 14:29and now they want to seize their uh,
- 14:32their uh Assets, they're trying to seize the
- 14:35russian orthodox church assets and she noted that
- 14:38their own supreme court rejected the appeal By
- 14:41the new for newly formed church in ukraine.
- 14:44So there's all kinds of big things she
- 14:48said there were 1300 petitions by parishioners as
- 14:51third parties and uh that she also uh
- 14:55talked about all of the Monuments that have
- 14:58been torn down and stuff like that.
- 15:00It was uh, it was a pretty good.
- 15:02Uh, briefing this time not that it isn't
- 15:05usually but I always like to listen to
- 15:07her and There there was also things the
- 15:10international court of justice she was talking about
- 15:13um, uh, how uh israel is You know
- 15:17not being um Not being treated as harshly
- 15:23as they ought to be uh, she had
- 15:26questions, uh afterward and there were several themes
- 15:30of the questions they were talking about Venezuela
- 15:33u.s plans for ancient action in venezuela
- 15:37and she basically, uh How would you put
- 15:43it Polly, she played politician and didn't answer
- 15:47that question.
- 15:48She she pushed it off Well that depends
- 15:50on our american colleagues and blah blah blah
- 15:53some kind of like a sergey lavrov would
- 15:55Um when he put that if he would
- 15:58put something out there, so all in all
- 16:00a pretty good press briefing it's always worthy
- 16:03of Following and I you know I I
- 16:12like her commentary on the war in general
- 16:14and and I like how it um, how
- 16:17it how it shows up.
- 16:19Um, All of the the facts and figures
- 16:23that she puts out I I like to
- 16:25listen to it It's kind of like you
- 16:26get it from the the horse's mouth.
- 16:28Um, there's been a lot of talk all
- 16:31weekend long That there were some very large
- 16:35Uh attacks and i'm kind of doing a
- 16:39a mini dive I suppose you would call
- 16:42it into the lavrov bit which i'm going
- 16:44to get into in a little while and
- 16:47get into some specifics on that and then
- 16:50Come up with there's a whole bunch of
- 16:52news stories that have come up since last
- 16:54we spoke on thursday And there's uh, ukraine
- 17:00Light water and heat and because winter Is
- 17:05upon them.
- 17:06I mean it was cold here in in
- 17:07lake ozark today.
- 17:09I froze my my uh, left butt cheek
- 17:12off, uh, it was pretty damn cold in
- 17:15in uh, I'm, i'm a somewhat of a
- 17:19baby in that regard and I like it
- 17:21pretty warm And uh speaking of which I
- 17:25come in this studio today.
- 17:26It's like 12 degrees In here and i'm
- 17:29freezing And I found this cool little uh,
- 17:32uh Heater down below that initially was blowing
- 17:37warm and now it's blowing cold.
- 17:39It's like I can't figure it out.
- 17:41So I guess I got to sit here
- 17:42and chatter my teeth To you all but
- 17:45we will figure it out.
- 17:46Um At some point because i'm not gonna
- 17:49freeze my butt off in here all winter.
- 17:51That's for sure Uh, we shall see what
- 17:53happens.
- 17:54I'll have to figure out how to work
- 17:55this stuff Anyway, that little sideline aside.
- 17:58We're gonna get into uh, ukraine lights water
- 18:01and heat what's gonna happen, right?
- 18:04so basically I listened to several quite a
- 18:07few different videos on this and if you
- 18:08strip away all the I don't know what
- 18:11the bluster and the noise about it all
- 18:13and you count what you can count and
- 18:15measure what you can measure the weekend barrage
- 18:19that uh, ukraine Was subjected to and their
- 18:24infrastructure in the Utilities area was subjected to
- 18:28was one of the heaviest combined drone and
- 18:32missile strikes on ukraine's power grid this year
- 18:36Um, it produced what you'd expect right as
- 18:39they're heading into winter.
- 18:41There were low deficits rolling blackouts and Cascading
- 18:47hits to water and heat especially in the
- 18:50big urban centers.
- 18:51So ukrainian officials reported that there were roughly
- 18:58458 Shahid type drones and 45 missiles launched
- 19:04friday night And and into overnight friday and
- 19:07into saturday with multiple waves they targeted um
- 19:12generation and Transmission of electricity and uh, uh
- 19:17infrastructure gas water The initial fatality counts varied.
- 19:22They said that three to four were killed
- 19:24and ten wounded But it's the scope.
- 19:27It's not this it's not the the deaths
- 19:29of people It's how big this was.
- 19:32This is not a pinprick at all.
- 19:34But this is a system wide um System
- 19:39-wide infrastructure attack in across several regions now
- 19:46both reuters and ap Uh converge this on
- 19:50a broad scale and guardian has has put
- 19:53pitted up too.
- 19:55So in the west they're actually Uh telling
- 19:58maybe the truth about this, right?
- 20:01um, there were strikes on uh kiev, uh
- 20:04in kiev, they say the strikes were on
- 20:08critical civil infrastructure and it triggered citywide transit
- 20:13and service disruptions that you know Now you
- 20:16see the buses trying to go during blackouts
- 20:20and they can't because the voltage is collapsed.
- 20:23A lot of them are are uh trolley
- 20:27sorts of cars and then paltova and kremenchuk
- 20:31Uh local systems where they had some generators
- 20:34for water After power loss and those are
- 20:37only going to work so long um, and
- 20:40so these mid river industrial nodes are soft
- 20:43spots anyway, if they take out a few
- 20:46of the substations or the thermal stations And
- 20:49you have a choke of both municipal pumping
- 20:52and industrial Draw on the facilities and so
- 20:55it's going to really uh damage their ability
- 20:59to to get anywhere And in hark of
- 21:01it was also a really big story Um
- 21:04mayor eager, uh teryehov said that the shortages
- 21:07first forced even power cuts to emergency systems
- 21:12and that water and heat have both been
- 21:17Unavailable and the metro has been shut down
- 21:20and the uh electric surface transport has been
- 21:25replaced by Gas buses because all of those
- 21:28are usually by trolley So once again if
- 21:31they've got to run buses and not trolleys
- 21:34that's going to be a big deal all
- 21:36winter long And so the grid Is really
- 21:42being hit hard pre-winter and in dnipro
- 21:45and dnipro petrovsk regions residential casualties from drone
- 21:50strikes that happened in their region-wide power
- 21:54restrictions and outages Um and in zaporizhia tens
- 21:58of thousands lost power in earlier waves and
- 22:02it's been in it It's been out of
- 22:04rotation.
- 22:05Um with brief periods of being on ever
- 22:08since and This compounds what's going on over
- 22:12the weekend because russia is systematically Taking it
- 22:16all out.
- 22:17So the state generator, uh, Centroenergo Central energy
- 22:22is what that means called it the worst
- 22:24grid hit uh Of the war and said
- 22:28that production at an affected plants has dropped
- 22:31to zero if a thermal units yard and
- 22:35step-up transformers are shredded which they are
- 22:38Or coal logistics are interrupted.
- 22:40You're not going to turn that back on
- 22:43anytime soon They're already cannibalizing spares according to
- 22:47him Restringing lines and trucking in you know,
- 22:51the big guns and try to get it
- 22:52back on board That's why outages continue to
- 22:55ripple for you know days and weeks So,
- 22:59uh ukraine ergo moved from emergency cuts to
- 23:03planned hourly rolling blackouts in multiple regions So
- 23:08every hour you're you know, you're off for
- 23:11an hour on for an hour, right?
- 23:12so the typical schedules published last week show
- 23:16that from 8 to 11 and from 1600
- 23:20to 2200 the houses are without uh power
- 23:25And industrial caps are layered on top of
- 23:28that Subject to change as crews stabilize and
- 23:31rolling cuts are routine and not the exception
- 23:35According this is according to kiev newspapers and
- 23:37russia says it's even worse um, I don't
- 23:40know but it's uh, uh, according to i'll
- 23:43play a brief video for you from Uh
- 23:48Uh military summary channel that it will get
- 23:51to here in just a minute um, let's
- 23:54see So Why is the water and heat
- 23:59collapsing so fast?
- 24:01well because water utilities and I didn't know
- 24:05this I I learned this today reading this
- 24:07the the the articles about it and And
- 24:10and watching the stories about it water utilities
- 24:13are power hogs now, I didn't know that
- 24:16I thought that water Could kind of power
- 24:19itself, but maybe that is a misconception Apparently
- 24:23it is but they have a loss of
- 24:25stable voltage.
- 24:26It isn't just a total loss.
- 24:28It can knock on the pumps and treatments
- 24:30Will knock them out as off of specs
- 24:32and they don't work at all So district
- 24:35heating is even worse if your combined heat
- 24:38and power plant trips or a gas compressor
- 24:41station loses power Radiators go cold and it
- 24:45takes a while to get them back up.
- 24:46Remember everything is central boilers over there and
- 24:50uh, uh, Especially in the big cities and
- 24:53so it's hard to get to get them
- 24:54back up and get them warm And so
- 24:56if you're rolling if you're rolling them off
- 24:59and on it takes It takes you three
- 25:03hours to power them up for the whole
- 25:05building to get the To get the effect
- 25:08and then when the power goes out they
- 25:10cool off It takes a little while for
- 25:12it to cool off, but they cool off
- 25:14a hell of a lot quicker when the
- 25:15weather's freaking cold I mean, you know that
- 25:18about your own house.
- 25:19You don't want to walk in and and
- 25:21and be freezing but uh, I tell you
- 25:23what Um, and then it's it's also worse.
- 25:27Uh compressor stations are gone Uh harkiv is
- 25:31a case study The whole grid is down,
- 25:33which means metro's down trolleybus are down water
- 25:36and heater down.
- 25:37So it's it's it's really not Not good
- 25:41now of these 400 and whatever it was
- 25:44drones that they were talking about How many
- 25:47did they say?
- 25:49of these drones It was like 450 something
- 25:53plus 45 a total of about 500 And
- 25:57I was wondering about How accurate or how
- 26:01well their Air defense has been Working which
- 26:08isn't very well, by the way, but the
- 26:11ukraine's air force Uh often reports very high
- 26:16shoot down ratios where they say.
- 26:18Oh, we got 95% of them, right?
- 26:20But this weekend even with intercepts there's videos
- 26:24of them all over and all you got
- 26:26to do is get on telegram and watch
- 26:27them There are telegrams where they're showing at
- 26:30night time where The whole city of kiev
- 26:35is dark And the videos go on for
- 26:39a very long time And how long that
- 26:42is and that's not alone.
- 26:43They showed the same thing with neper petrovsk
- 26:46and other places and that is Unbelievable to
- 26:52me actually because they That means this has
- 26:57been going on for a while and the
- 26:59power is off and so but they say
- 27:02they had robust dozens of drones and missiles
- 27:06got through to more than 25 locations, so
- 27:10Interceptions aren't the headline here.
- 27:13The destruction is the headline the interceptions We
- 27:16know they're not intercept at least I do.
- 27:19I know they're not intercepting I've been paying
- 27:21this paying attention this for a very long
- 27:23time And they always claim that they go.
- 27:26Oh, geez, we get at least 90 of
- 27:27those.
- 27:27No, you don't That's that's why they're sending
- 27:30out russia isn't sending out 500 to have
- 27:3350 get through That ain't true at all
- 27:36far more than 50 you're getting through.
- 27:38So um, but ukraine has been has been
- 27:42hitting and ukraine keeps hitting belgrade voronezh and
- 27:45kursk regions and the refinery infrastructure in other
- 27:49areas um, so This and so russia is
- 27:53continuing to Up the attacks against all of
- 27:59these so I I don't know what is
- 28:00normal in this The fact is it's it's
- 28:03not normal.
- 28:04This is uh, attritional warfare And russia can
- 28:10withstand it longer than ukraine can for sure
- 28:13and it's um Watch for uh Transformer swaps
- 28:20and how fast they get them turned back
- 28:22up.
- 28:22I mean if people are still going to
- 28:24post it There's a couple of people out
- 28:26on telegram posting videos every night of the
- 28:29lights off in kiev And if kiev has
- 28:32the lights out, what do you think it
- 28:34is in the rest of the country?
- 28:36And so if kiev is subject to rolling
- 28:38blackout You know, what do you what about
- 28:41the rest of the the place and kiev
- 28:44was completely dark on friday night completely And
- 28:49you'd see a couple of generator routes, you
- 28:51know people have private generators or something They're
- 28:54burning gas, but nobody's running trolleys anymore.
- 28:57The power's down.
- 28:58I mean the power goes out Your trolley
- 29:01shuts down.
- 29:01You're not going anywhere Um, and they don't
- 29:05even they've been a lot of a lot
- 29:07of efforts to try to get spares for
- 29:09them Or donations of equipment from eu partners
- 29:13and everywhere russia still has You know are
- 29:17still producing an additional a couple hundred of
- 29:22shaheed drones daily And they're firing Plenty of
- 29:26them over here.
- 29:27They're they're seriously producing these shaheeds and they
- 29:32still have 10 times more missiles and weaponry
- 29:36than Ukraine does this is not something that
- 29:40that ukraine is going to win um In
- 29:44air defense, of course, you know, you can
- 29:46talk about the the wave tactics and how
- 29:49the wave tactics have been so Uh, what
- 29:54do you want to call it successful for
- 29:56the russians?
- 29:58in the attacks that they're making because They
- 30:01have cheap drones and i've told you about
- 30:04this before cheap drones that saturate the area
- 30:07And then the missiles come in and finish
- 30:09things off once all the patriot, you know
- 30:12million dollar patriot Missiles have been used to
- 30:15hit a shaheed drone.
- 30:17It's empty.
- 30:17That's just a decoy and so it's a
- 30:22seriously attritional warfare here and Everybody notes the
- 30:29stepped up russian tempo over the last few
- 30:31months It's been getting higher and higher and
- 30:35russia is pushing and pushing and the battlefield
- 30:38dynamics Continue to reflect this.
- 30:41They are gaining their stories about um, um
- 30:45How far they've come pokrovsk is done and
- 30:48and they were talking about another 2000 Ukrainian
- 30:52soldiers surrounded and it's been you know, you
- 30:56talk about as a human angle.
- 30:58Where's everybody going?
- 31:00You know you have lighting There's no prediction,
- 31:03you know, they they want to call it
- 31:05a predictable window of darkness, right?
- 31:08So, um and at night, you know, they're
- 31:11gonna Curtail your power at night citywide and
- 31:16the city is completely dark and uh, uh
- 31:20you you wonder when they when they shut
- 31:22it off or if they have a curfew
- 31:24for that or what you do In your
- 31:26house, so they're going to have a lot
- 31:27more danger because people are going to be
- 31:30using Uh candles and fire and you know,
- 31:34whatever and uh, or um, Maybe battery powered
- 31:39Um would be a better way.
- 31:41Maybe they're gonna have to put it out
- 31:42water intermittent pressure Boiling water is and you
- 31:47can't boil electrically.
- 31:49Everything is gas powered, but you can't have
- 31:51the gas Because if you do you're not
- 31:54going to have anybody that can come and
- 31:56pump water if you have any accidents So
- 31:59your radiators are they get up to lukewarm
- 32:01and then they're cold Until boiler plants get
- 32:05back online and that's not going to happen
- 32:08And they can't go anywhere because the subways
- 32:11are idle and trolleybuses and trams are replaced
- 32:14by diesel and so what it's uh Zakharova
- 32:18said some things on this she said, uh,
- 32:21um The now standard western aid is faltering
- 32:24ukraine is terrorizing russian civilians and energy infrastructure
- 32:29And russia is responding to these ukrainian attacks.
- 32:32And so it's their You know like their
- 32:35own I suppose you'd call it a permission
- 32:38slip for russia destroying uh ukraine's energy grid
- 32:43water grid everything and so Uh, you have
- 32:47to look at it in both sides this
- 32:49war sucks and it needs to be done
- 32:52because uh millions of people are are Suffering
- 32:58here.
- 32:59That is for sure.
- 33:00So if you keep track about this or
- 33:02the rolling blackouts in the week ahead um
- 33:06there there's i'm i'm gonna keep an eye
- 33:08on this for you, but it's Man to
- 33:11repair a substation isn't something you do overnight
- 33:14or in one day even takes a while
- 33:17So these are these are tough times for
- 33:20them.
- 33:21That is a faux show I'm gonna see
- 33:24if I can play that first video for
- 33:27you um We had the crushing defeat in
- 33:32pokrovsk That came up a little while ago
- 33:37um That is over And I don't know
- 33:40if you heard this yet, but I want
- 33:42to get into a story about Angelina joe
- 33:45lee if I found a video on it,
- 33:48um Recently in this pretty recent stuff, but
- 33:52I gotta get to my history first here
- 33:55and play you the um The story that
- 34:01I wanted to get to Where is it?
- 34:06Well, I thought it was at the top
- 34:07of my my history, but apparently It isn't
- 34:12I'm grumpy about it.
- 34:13Now.
- 34:13Let's get there.
- 34:16There's maria's a hot of up and here
- 34:20is Where to go, let's see This
- 34:29one right here, I believe it is i'll
- 34:33explain to you so let's get to where
- 34:35the Power stations have collapsed And This is
- 34:42military summary channel, which I listen to fairly
- 34:45often on youtube and uh try to once
- 34:48a week, so here goes Infrastructure and the
- 34:53source are saying that as a result of
- 34:55yesterday's attacks the russians managed to deal significant
- 34:57damage to ukraine And according to information we
- 35:00have today.
- 35:01We have power outages across the entire territory
- 35:04of the state So once again yesterday we
- 35:07didn't have almost we didn't get almost anything
- 35:09about those strikes just some statistics numbers and
- 35:13maps And so on but during the previous
- 35:1524 48 hours We received additional interesting videos
- 35:19and additional very interesting updates.
- 35:21So let's discuss this once again The russians
- 35:24as we discussed attacked ukrainian energy infrastructure and
- 35:28energy facilities, for example yesterday We received this
- 35:31video and here according to information We have
- 35:33the video captured an impact near the pridniprovskaya
- 35:37thermal power plant As a result of the
- 35:39attack the right bank part of dnepropetrovsk was
- 35:42completely without power according to local media In
- 35:45addition water supply outages begun in several areas
- 35:48of the city So this is the only
- 35:50video that confirms that russians indeed attacked yesterday
- 35:54the power plant in the area of the
- 35:56city of dnipro Furthermore we received this video
- 35:59from the territory of the settlement by the
- 36:01name of slobozhansk Once again, probably two or
- 36:04three hours or one hour after russians attacked
- 36:06these territory And here according to the author
- 36:09this video we can see another attack carried
- 36:11out by russians on the energy infrastructural object
- 36:15of ukraine So and that's it So two
- 36:17power plants were damaged by russia as a
- 36:20result of the previous day attack and nothing
- 36:23more And today during the previous 24 hours
- 36:26more precisely we received additional videos For example,
- 36:29this video is coming from the area of
- 36:30the settlement by the name of tripoli So
- 36:33here we can see the consequences of attack
- 36:35on the tripoli power station So here we
- 36:39can see another smoke Smoke screen above the
- 36:44territory of the power plant.
- 36:46Most likely the power plant was damaged critically
- 36:49So this is the situation so this is
- 36:51a third the third power plant that was
- 36:53damaged by russia And today we got additional
- 36:56video and additional details about attack on the
- 36:59territory of the slobozhansk power station So the
- 37:02previous video was made during the night period
- 37:04of time and now we can see the
- 37:06consequences of russian attack during the daylight So
- 37:09as you can see the power plant was
- 37:11damaged critically Another smoke screen about the city
- 37:14and most likely this is the reason why
- 37:16the ukraine authority is today announced that every
- 37:19single Power plant would be turned off a
- 37:22state-owned thermal power plant In ukraine have
- 37:25been shut down with no electricity generation currently
- 37:29taking place according to the state company centrenergo
- 37:32As of now nobody knows for sure most
- 37:35likely when exactly this situation will be probably
- 37:38resolved when all these issues in energy sectors
- 37:40Will be resolved.
- 37:42Obviously, it will take several days, but the
- 37:44russian sources are saying that the minister of
- 37:47defense and the General staff of the armored
- 37:49force of the russian federation are waiting when
- 37:52the situation will be fixed And then most
- 37:54likely the russians will repeat their attack on
- 37:57energy infrastructure causing and dealing significant damage So
- 38:00it's just the 9th of november of 2025
- 38:03It's almost the months before the beginning of
- 38:06winter and now we see that the situation
- 38:09is already critical So most likely somewhere around
- 38:1210th or 20th of december the situation will
- 38:15be a disaster Now, let's discuss the situation
- 38:19on the ground Hang on one second.
- 38:21Maybe we won't discuss the situation on the
- 38:24ground Because the interesting part of that is
- 38:27when he when he put well, it's all
- 38:29interesting to me but the interesting part is
- 38:32that he says that What they're doing is
- 38:36waiting until they refinish repair it and then
- 38:40blow it up again And so they they
- 38:42wait and see And they're making them spend
- 38:45the money and we're not even to winter
- 38:47yet And there's already rolling blackouts and when
- 38:50winter fully hits It's going to be even
- 38:53worse for them and i'm going to see
- 38:57If this is the video, I think this
- 38:59is one where they talk about pokrovsk and
- 39:01where we are On pokrovsk, hold on i'm
- 39:06not going to push play on it just
- 39:08yet But we want to get to where
- 39:10it is on uh pokrovsk Because russians have
- 39:16been gaining ground everywhere, uh pretty quickly and
- 39:22Um, no, this isn't the right video so
- 39:24we won't get to it and i'm not
- 39:26going to go search for it some more
- 39:27I got some other things I wanted to
- 39:29get into um as well as that and
- 39:34uh, there's Uh so much news, there's uh
- 39:38plenty of it and it's Uh a lot
- 39:43going on over the weekend and we're gonna
- 39:45have a pretty full week this week.
- 39:46I got I have the uh, uh I
- 39:50only got to watch about an hour of
- 39:52it, but i'll finish it up in time
- 39:54for tomorrow's show.
- 39:55They have uh, Uh, my my sunday night
- 39:59show of vladimir soloviev that I like to
- 40:02watch And I only got to see an
- 40:04hour of it, but it's It's they're doing
- 40:07something and getting it out quicker than it
- 40:09was before because I didn't usually get to
- 40:11watch it till monday night But now it's
- 40:13coming out Uh, because literally the show just
- 40:17was published Um, it goes from like 6
- 40:21or 8 p.m. Something like that on
- 40:23sunday nights and it goes for for uh,
- 40:26three hours, basically and uh But usually I
- 40:30never got it till 24 hours later now
- 40:32it's coming out Much quicker.
- 40:35Um, I don't sleep very well.
- 40:37So, um, I I tend to watch a
- 40:39lot of this stuff Let's see where we
- 40:43are though I wanted to get to uh,
- 40:46The lavrov thing once again because I did
- 40:49find that rather comical on the lavrov story
- 40:53And what was really funny?
- 40:54You didn't hear a whole lot of this
- 40:56nonsense coming to you from uh, from uh
- 41:03From real news sources you found it from
- 41:06your typical Uh, I don't know what bloggers
- 41:09and stuff like that that uh, but you
- 41:12didn't get it from other sources And and
- 41:14I like to listen and listen to the
- 41:16other sources and so it's like hmm I
- 41:19wonder if that has any real truth to
- 41:22it, but there's nothing about it except uh
- 41:24denials and other places But um, you know
- 41:26what i've just decided to change and go
- 41:29in another direction real quick And i'll come
- 41:30back to lavrov here in just a minute
- 41:32because I have two stories that I had
- 41:34pulled up as well about orban victor orban
- 41:38and he uh Stated recently Um, he accuses
- 41:47former u.s. President biden of driving the
- 41:51ukraine conflict You know, he basically blaming uh,
- 41:56joe biden and his administration for pushing this
- 42:00And for pushing eu member states to be
- 42:03confrontational against russia now Unlike most other countries
- 42:09in the bloc hungary consistently opposes brussels, you
- 42:12know in their anti-russian policies and has
- 42:15called for a diplomatic approach to put an
- 42:18end to hostilities And he also refuses to
- 42:22provide weapons to kiev And here's what he
- 42:25said Without the pressure coming from the u
- 42:29.s. Government and i'm speaking about 2022 The
- 42:33europeans would not take that hard line that
- 42:36they have today on the war He told
- 42:40reporters this after his meeting with u.s.
- 42:42President, uh trump on his uh, white house
- 42:46visit last friday So he emphasized that some
- 42:50major eu economies have rejected Uh, they don't
- 42:55want to be involved more than just sending,
- 42:58you know Humanitarian efforts and he said that's
- 43:02the facts of history And so Trump said
- 43:07the same thing trump's uh responded and said
- 43:10that the conflict stemmed from mistakes by this
- 43:13predecessor Of course, he's always eager to jump
- 43:15On board and and say he said biden
- 43:19actually pushed for that war to happen and
- 43:21that um That trump that he goes I
- 43:25inherited that mess Yeah, but it's your mess
- 43:28now, buddy.
- 43:29Stop it.
- 43:30You know, if you could stop it cut
- 43:32him off So in august trump said the
- 43:34ukraine conflict could have escalated into world war
- 43:37three under the biden administration You know what
- 43:40that's a very good point because uh had
- 43:43there been a a biden or a harris
- 43:46still in office uh I I think we'd
- 43:51be extremely close to it so, you know,
- 43:55I I can complain and piss and moan
- 43:58about How things are bad, you know that
- 44:01trump isn't doing what I think he should
- 44:03do but a couple of things number one
- 44:06who the hell am I and number two
- 44:09At least it's not biden because under biden
- 44:12we brought or harris we probably would be
- 44:16in world war three Well, you know bangladesh,
- 44:19you know as we started in this show
- 44:20was be regime change I don't like the
- 44:23regime change efforts going on in venezuela I
- 44:27don't like what's happening, uh in in a
- 44:30lot of respects, but He ain't wrong biden
- 44:34pushed for that war to happen and trump
- 44:37inherited the mess and I think trump is
- 44:41absolutely right that the ukraine conflict would could
- 44:47Maybe would have escalated into world war three
- 44:50under the biden administration Uh, because well biden
- 44:54wasn't running the show, you know, that's pretty
- 44:56clear and it was being run by people
- 44:58who have you know, nothing but um um
- 45:02more arms to push Anyway, the president has
- 45:05frequently argued the global tensions.
- 45:08Uh peaked when uh you know between moscow
- 45:13and and washington uh when biden was in
- 45:17charge and uh He has at least re
- 45:21-established high-level communication.
- 45:23I think it's it's been crap, you know
- 45:25with the back and forth But at least
- 45:28there's communication, you know, and there wasn't any
- 45:32for three years with the other a-holes.
- 45:34So Earlier this year president putin's economic, uh
- 45:38envoy kirill dimitriev Urged the white house to
- 45:43reverse the policies of the previous administration And
- 45:47achieve global peace dimitriev said that biden's mistakes
- 45:51need to be corrected And I believe he's
- 45:54right Um, I think that uh all of
- 45:57this economic turmoil between uh Of america and
- 46:03russia is a mistake.
- 46:05I've said that repeatedly Moscow has repeatedly also
- 46:08stated that it's ready for peace talks If
- 46:11conditions on the ground are respected and root
- 46:14causes are addressed.
- 46:15I hate to pump that out one more
- 46:18time But there you go um Let's see.
- 46:23There was one more orban commentary.
- 46:26Where'd he go?
- 46:28Where did he go Orban orban orban Um
- 46:38Oh, he also he said something, uh, um
- 46:43That hungary is a christian government in a
- 46:46liberal ocean in europe And then guess what
- 46:51else he got He got a full exemption
- 46:55from u.s. Sanctions on russian oil so
- 46:59There was actually a success story, right?
- 47:04So this is a pretty short um a
- 47:08blurb, so we'll um We'll we'll probably cover
- 47:13the whole thing.
- 47:14I thought there was some Video I could
- 47:17play on it, but but I can't it's
- 47:19in russian um U.s. President trump agreed
- 47:23to provide budapest with an exemption From washington
- 47:28sanctions on russian oil Um, this is what
- 47:31victor orban told reporters after their meeting at
- 47:33the white house The leader said the agreement
- 47:35guaranteed uninterrupted And affordable energy supplies for his
- 47:40country protecting its long-standing policy of utility
- 47:44cost reductions his quote was The first and
- 47:47most important thing is that we manage to
- 47:50protect the utility cost reduction So hungary will
- 47:53continue to have the lowest energy prices in
- 47:57europe according to orban hungary received complete exemption
- 48:02from sanctions affecting russian oil delivered through Turk
- 48:06stream and drushba pipelines There are no sanctions
- 48:10that would immediately limit hungarian supply or make
- 48:14it more expensive This is a general and
- 48:17unlimited exemption President trump said earlier That uh
- 48:22that hungary's geography and limited access to alternative
- 48:26energy justifies his exception We are looking at
- 48:29it because it's very difficult for him to
- 48:32get oil and gas from other areas It's
- 48:34a big country and they have no seaport
- 48:37but they And so they have a difficult
- 48:40problem trump added that other eu countries are
- 48:43in a different position and reiterated His long
- 48:47-standing criticism of european allies for continuing to
- 48:51rely on russian energy while benefiting from us
- 48:55security support Many of those countries don't have
- 48:59these problems and they buy a lot of
- 49:00oil and gas from russia And as they
- 49:03know i'm disturbed by that So last month
- 49:07washington imposed sanctions on russian energy oil rosneft
- 49:10and luke oil Both of which continue to
- 49:13export oil to hungary and slovakia So budapest
- 49:16requested a waiver.
- 49:18They argued that they lacked viable alternatives and
- 49:21the restriction disproportionately harms their economy Orban makes
- 49:26the trip to washington.
- 49:27He and trump are the best of friends
- 49:30according to both of them And orban previously
- 49:33described sanctions as a mistake, which is what
- 49:36I say And warned they will cripple hungary's
- 49:39energy supply And hungary is among well as
- 49:43the most vocal eu member state opposing sanctions
- 49:46against russia And orban repeatedly argues that energy
- 49:50should remain outside the scope of political dispute
- 49:53and energy security Europe's energy security cannot come
- 49:57at the expense of economic stability So the
- 50:00eu has seen a surge in energy prices
- 50:02since it began phasing out or trying to
- 50:05phase out russian fuel Um the resulting supply
- 50:10disruptions lead to increased industrial costs and moscow
- 50:13accuses The west of shooting themselves in the
- 50:16foot and I believe russia is correct orban
- 50:19does too by the way Think that they're
- 50:22they're uh, correct um Where did the eu
- 50:26had?
- 50:27Oh, oh, yeah, this was an interesting story
- 50:28get this I always laugh when I see
- 50:32this lady ursula von der leyen.
- 50:35You just can't help but say it like
- 50:36Uh sergeant schultz in uh, what was the
- 50:40name of that show?
- 50:41Can't remember.
- 50:42Um But uh sergeant schultz you just she
- 50:46looks like sergeant schultz.
- 50:47She is unattractive and uh, let's see European
- 50:51union is planning to launch You can't this
- 50:56is great a centralized hub for monitoring and
- 51:00countering What it calls?
- 51:04Wait for it Disinformation according to leaked documents
- 51:09seen by the guardian Critics have long warned
- 51:12that brussel brussels initiatives amount to institutionalization of
- 51:19a censorship regime According to the european commission
- 51:24proposal Set to be published on november the
- 51:2712th Or wait for that, aren't we the
- 51:31so-called center for democratic resilience Will function
- 51:37as part of a broader democracy shield strategy
- 51:42Which was pitched by commission president ursula von
- 51:45der leyen ahead of the 2024 european elections
- 51:51Participation in the center will be voluntary And
- 51:55the commission welcomes like-minded partners Outside of
- 52:00the bloc including the uk and countries seeking
- 52:03to be allowed into the union the draft
- 52:07accuses russia of escalating hybrid attacks and disseminating
- 52:14false narratives while Pinpointing china as another threat
- 52:19and they she alleges that beijing uses Pr
- 52:22firms and social media influencers to advance its
- 52:26interests across europe.
- 52:27Doesn't they do that, too?
- 52:29I mean don't they don't we have the
- 52:31gay folk running around all over europe and
- 52:34and pumping the the The multi-colored flag
- 52:37and whatnot.
- 52:37Well, so why isn't the other side allowed
- 52:40to do the same?
- 52:41But wait, we're still waiting for the for
- 52:44the real kicker in this story It's a
- 52:46lot of fun by spreading what she calls
- 52:48deceitful narratives Sometimes including the manipulation and falsification
- 52:53of historical facts They tried to erode trust
- 52:58in democratic systems.
- 52:59The guardian cited the document as saying Though
- 53:03it provided No evidence.
- 53:06Well, they didn't provide the document.
- 53:07They just say that's what this is The
- 53:11commission frames the move as a defensive response
- 53:14to foreign meddling Citing as one example the
- 53:19controversial cancellation of Romania's 2024 presidential election They're
- 53:27the ones that canceled it.
- 53:28However telegram founder pavel durav noted.
- 53:31That was the eu namely the french intelligence,
- 53:35uh Division that pressured him to censor conservative
- 53:39content during the elections in romania and moldova
- 53:43Condemning the bloc for waging a crusade against
- 53:46free speech himself So the new center will
- 53:51add to eu's growing network of monitoring and
- 53:55moderating information And is expected to work alongside
- 54:00supposedly Independent facts fact checkers and coordinate with
- 54:07online influencers to promote Content that aligns with
- 54:12brussels policies So see you can't use social
- 54:16media influencers to align with views that are
- 54:19Not in line with brussels policies But you
- 54:23can use those same Influencers to promote the
- 54:26content and pay the millions of dollars to
- 54:28do it to make it sound like it's
- 54:30a way to do it So the proposal
- 54:32fits neatly into the wider enforcement framework of
- 54:35the eu's digital services act Which mandates the
- 54:39removal of harmful content washington wants a partner
- 54:44in the joint disinformation monitoring through the now
- 54:49defunct global engagement center Has since distanced itself
- 54:54from the eu's regulatory push the eu s
- 54:58state department recently described the bloc's initiatives as
- 55:02Orwellian and says that censorship is not freedom
- 55:07And warns that such measures only serve to
- 55:11shield european leaders from their own people so
- 55:16Here's what jd vance said about that if
- 55:19you are running in fear of your own
- 55:22voters There is nothing america can do for
- 55:26you I like that And that's what jd
- 55:29vance told the munich security conference in february
- 55:32referring to the romanian election If your democracy
- 55:36can be destroyed with a few hundred thousand
- 55:39dollars of digital advertising from a foreign country
- 55:44Then it wasn't very strong to begin with
- 55:47Now, I remember listening to him way back
- 55:50then when he was at the munich security
- 55:53conference and he gave a very good speech
- 55:56And listening to him, uh, that was that
- 55:58was a hell of a speech on on
- 56:01what he said I remember feeling very very
- 56:06positive about uh, hopefully and hopeful that our
- 56:11government wouldn't uh continue to demonize opposition and
- 56:18demonize free speech and demonize A few words
- 56:23by somebody, you know, because it's true if
- 56:27a few words can destroy you You got
- 56:30bigger problems than can be fixed with democracy
- 56:34You know what I mean?
- 56:36Um, let's see Uh, there were also there's
- 56:39a couple other stories, but I I still
- 56:42intend to get back to my lavrov fiasco
- 56:45Of what we heard there so I think
- 56:47we're gonna Leave off or i'll tell you
- 56:50the headline and I might get to it
- 56:52if I finish off with the lavrov thing
- 56:54through the show but the swedish prime minister
- 56:57calling for long-term isolation of russia and
- 57:03the eu failed to convince belgium to seize
- 57:07the uh, frozen russian assets, they're they're still
- 57:12So far still on the side of the
- 57:15law and saying you can't just take people's
- 57:17money You're not allowed to just steal it
- 57:20just because you're the government um, and then
- 57:24uh, what else the The The ex-cia
- 57:29chief brennan was subpoenaed in russiagate that came
- 57:34out over over the weekend and uh Where
- 57:39there was another or or bond or bond
- 57:42call Um, he oh he did say that
- 57:47he welcomes there's another orban quote he welcomes
- 57:51defunding of uh, Radio free europe and radio
- 57:55liberty That's a funny story.
- 57:58I might get to it.
- 57:59That was pretty good well, maybe not funny,
- 58:01but um Funny in the fact that uh,
- 58:05people are still allowed to speak the truth,
- 58:08you know Let's see.
- 58:10Where are we in our lavrov story?
- 58:13Here we go So I wanted to separate
- 58:16things into reality So I went and checked
- 58:19a whole bunch of different sources to find
- 58:21out what everybody was saying about lavrov disappearing
- 58:25because I suppose one of the things about
- 58:30Oh youtube or facebook or wherever you go
- 58:35It seems like you'll see the a topic
- 58:37and everybody piles on board and beats that
- 58:40topic to death for all its worth And
- 58:42then they move on to another topic So
- 58:45somebody out there um Started the thing about
- 58:51lavrov.
- 58:51Where's lavrov been lately, you know, we haven't
- 58:54seen a lot of lavrov I don't maybe
- 58:57the guy's got the flu who knows, you
- 58:58know, but he's gone for a couple of
- 59:01days He's not he's not on video for
- 59:03a couple of days and so uh then
- 59:06The rumors come out into the headlines that
- 59:09are lavrov is sidelined.
- 59:12Uh, there's rumors.
- 59:13He's been reassigned And then uh, you know,
- 59:16so I wanted to get out and look
- 59:18at it, you know I don't want to
- 59:19just believe that off the top and I
- 59:21told you at the beginning of the show
- 59:22that I don't think it's true Anyway, you
- 59:25know that I don't think 20 years of
- 59:28each of those two have been comfortable, uh
- 59:30with each other in their uh role in
- 59:33uh, russia And I don't think that's the
- 59:36case you'd have to you'd have to cock
- 59:39something up pretty damn bad to uh, Be
- 59:43pitched out, you know, if your name is
- 59:45sergey lavrov sergey viktorovich lavrov And uh, let's
- 59:50see So we're going to separate it into
- 59:52three uh Things that the headlines are, you
- 59:58know all putting together one Lavrov was absent
- 1:00:03from the november 5 security council session, right?
- 1:00:07So he didn't come to the security council
- 1:00:09meeting Two there was a delegation leadership for
- 1:00:14an upcoming summit That he isn't going to
- 1:00:17do and three the actual messaging And where
- 1:00:22lavrov has been acting publicly?
- 1:00:25So lavrov Was the only permanent security council
- 1:00:30member that was missing from the november 5th
- 1:00:34session Where putin tasked the bureaucracy to draft
- 1:00:39options on possible nuclear testing So remember me
- 1:00:44talking last week.
- 1:00:46I did a whole show on nuclear testing
- 1:00:49and putin was saying that in response to
- 1:00:53Trump's statement that the u.s is going
- 1:00:57to start Nuclear testing again, and the only
- 1:01:01one that's available.
- 1:01:02I told you last week Is how it's
- 1:01:05available and uh how it how long it
- 1:01:09would take to uh, bring it back into
- 1:01:12practice and So Now that trump has said
- 1:01:17while we're researching it it has come out
- 1:01:20pretty clear on it uh, there were a
- 1:01:22couple of comments by peskov lavrov other people
- 1:01:26saying where the um Where it was, you
- 1:01:30know, what are we going to do about
- 1:01:31this nuclear testing?
- 1:01:33And so at the security council, they were
- 1:01:34talking about it, too and uh, let's see
- 1:01:39the commercant a news uh newspaper reported that
- 1:01:43the absence was agreed upon and uh That
- 1:01:49meant he had an agreed agreed upon absence
- 1:01:51and it was a scheduling fact um, but
- 1:01:56this fact got everybody Talking, you know about
- 1:02:01what would happen.
- 1:02:02So what what were the delegations actually doing?
- 1:02:05There was a guy named maxime oreshkin.
- 1:02:07Who's the deputy chief of staff and he
- 1:02:10was assigned to head the g20 delegation the
- 1:02:13asian delegation last month was led led by
- 1:02:17alexei overchuk and uh, it's a you know,
- 1:02:21That is a shift from lavrov leading everything
- 1:02:26You know and because he's always at at
- 1:02:29all of these things and why everybody in
- 1:02:32tabloids and you know, uh Random shows are
- 1:02:36going he's been sidelined but uh, you know
- 1:02:43Authoritative outlets and official notices, uh Don't really
- 1:02:50Say that he's been that it's anything other
- 1:02:52than scheduling, you know So on november 7th
- 1:02:57Peskov came out and he said, you know
- 1:03:00this, um talking about a rift and talking
- 1:03:04about any sort of uh discontent on our
- 1:03:08side russia's side with lavrov Does not correspond
- 1:03:12to reality is how the translation comes out.
- 1:03:16It just It's not realistic to say to
- 1:03:19that.
- 1:03:20It that isn't the fact, you know, you're
- 1:03:22you're you're talking fiction here And on november
- 1:03:258 and 9 lavrov in in his own
- 1:03:29Interviews, which he did several was saying that
- 1:03:32work is underway on putin's november 5 test
- 1:03:35related tasking And uh, he signaled how ready
- 1:03:39he is to meet with marco rubio And
- 1:03:44the the facts that we talked about last
- 1:03:47week with respect to him so So Ministers
- 1:03:52that are I don't know in my opinion
- 1:03:55if you're claiming that they've been benched or
- 1:03:58sidelined Uh, they don't spend the weekend on
- 1:04:02on radio and tv talk shows teeing up
- 1:04:06us talks and uh declaring that they're executing
- 1:04:10presidential assignments regarding nuclear testing so who pushed
- 1:04:15these stories that was was I wanted to
- 1:04:17get the most of it because I was
- 1:04:19I was looking at the headlines and then
- 1:04:21where they were from So british tabloid tabloids
- 1:04:25are always, you know, right right there and
- 1:04:29then the repeater Aggregators, you know the repeater,
- 1:04:33uh agencies that take the stories pick them
- 1:04:36up and run with them again Are like
- 1:04:39the sun yahoo?
- 1:04:41et opinion rappers framed absence They say Absence
- 1:04:46plus delegation changes equals a purge which isn't
- 1:04:50true But reuters moscow times and kiev independent
- 1:04:54even Said that there was a denial and
- 1:04:58that he was just a scheduling deal so
- 1:05:02reassignments Happened purge claims are ridiculous, but you
- 1:05:06get onto youtube right now.
- 1:05:08You'll see page after page of uh, Lavrov's
- 1:05:12been sidelined sorts of things So and a
- 1:05:16lot of them were talking about The fact
- 1:05:18that uh the trump putin summit summit fizzled
- 1:05:23After a lavrov and rubio call, um because
- 1:05:28um They wanted to say that lavrov blew
- 1:05:32it but lavrov says the same thing I
- 1:05:35mean those those talks were constructive and everybody
- 1:05:38reported that they were But both sides said
- 1:05:41the other side Isn't ready to move any
- 1:05:43further than we've already talked about in prior
- 1:05:46meetings and so Kind of what's the point?
- 1:05:51so in moscow uh, whoever fronts it, uh
- 1:05:55summits can reflect a tactical optic, you know
- 1:05:59sending it, uh, When the policy isn't going
- 1:06:02anywhere And we're not changing anything We'll send
- 1:06:06a technocrat instead of somebody who could really
- 1:06:08get something done Rather than just saying it's
- 1:06:12a you know, we're not going to show
- 1:06:14up And give you a knife and we'll
- 1:06:17give you a knife in the ribs this
- 1:06:18way Well said the knife in the ribs
- 1:06:21is going to come from the technocrat not
- 1:06:23from sergey lavrov He has he has more
- 1:06:26important things to do than dink around with
- 1:06:28something like that So what does the evidence
- 1:06:31actually support I mean, I mean I suppose
- 1:06:33yes, he missed a high profile meeting, right?
- 1:06:37and yes, um He missed uh, or someone
- 1:06:42else is heading up the the uh, Summit,
- 1:06:46uh asian summit stuff like that and he
- 1:06:48only appeared by video for that But it's
- 1:06:52also yes that the kremlin denies that the
- 1:06:55rift lavrov is still visible all over the
- 1:06:58place and he's Executing his presidential tasks and
- 1:07:01I listened to two of his interviews over
- 1:07:03the last two days.
- 1:07:04So You know, he's both of them 45
- 1:07:07minutes to an hour long Lavrov is still
- 1:07:10out there doing his job.
- 1:07:12So i'm not so sure There's no evidence
- 1:07:15of any sort of formal demotion suspension investigation
- 1:07:19Nothing announced by the kremlin So there's a
- 1:07:23little bit of smoke because the travel roster
- 1:07:26changed He skipped a key meeting but you
- 1:07:31know What to watch for next is whether
- 1:07:35or not rubio and lavrov actually Uh communicate
- 1:07:41this weekend or this week, I mean upcoming
- 1:07:46And whether they come up with something going
- 1:07:48forward, I think it would be very nice
- 1:07:50if they did and so who who's going
- 1:07:53to front the united a security council, uh
- 1:07:56this month if uh, ministry of foreign affairs
- 1:08:00hands routine briefs to deputies that's just um
- 1:08:04Management of stories that are already under control
- 1:08:08And russian domestic press is saying, you know,
- 1:08:11these are stupid stories and you don't need
- 1:08:13to hear it.
- 1:08:14So um There you go um, let's see,
- 1:08:20I wanted to get to The stories uh,
- 1:08:27there were a couple of of critical stories
- 1:08:30about um, the bombing of uh, Thermal power
- 1:08:36plants and uh I already spent a lot
- 1:08:41of time on the uh on the Ukraine
- 1:08:44gradually being Plunged into darkness in the grid
- 1:08:49war on the home fronts there in ukraine
- 1:08:53It's like uh is going to be the
- 1:08:55same as last well worse than last winter
- 1:08:58You know substations dark stairwells diesel generators.
- 1:09:03It's going to be bad news um Let's
- 1:09:07see Um Where are we I gotta get
- 1:09:15past my lavrov script And then that is
- 1:09:19in russian, so I don't want to read
- 1:09:20that to you in russian So here we
- 1:09:25are With the lavrov story ova um and
- 1:09:34I want to get back to The Um
- 1:09:41kill zone, so the defense of the zaparizhia
- 1:09:45front is uh pretty much Crumbling in in
- 1:09:52real time So kill zone, it's not really
- 1:09:56a movie term.
- 1:09:57It's it's arithmetic um If you can channel
- 1:10:03your opponent into a predictable corridor um Narrow
- 1:10:08tree lines rail embankments mining belts then layer
- 1:10:14interlocking fire So you shoot where the enemy
- 1:10:18must be?
- 1:10:19so on the front southern front the russians
- 1:10:22are are Really?
- 1:10:25Advancing in the south pokrovsk area right and
- 1:10:29all over that area of zaparizhia and uh
- 1:10:34every every Mapper out there is showing some
- 1:10:41very heavy progress on the side of the
- 1:10:44russians.
- 1:10:45There's plenty out there so This is where
- 1:10:51the Drones spot a company entering a safe
- 1:10:57lane and an fpv swarm waits for them
- 1:11:02and Begins to uh fly over them and
- 1:11:05attack them disperse them cause chaos and then
- 1:11:10The self-propelled guns hold them at the
- 1:11:13angles and the mortars cover any possible retreat
- 1:11:16If that company tries to get out electronic
- 1:11:19warfare Scrambles navigation and pushes them back into
- 1:11:23the corridor again And they all get beat
- 1:11:26up again.
- 1:11:26This is what the russians are doing again
- 1:11:29and again and uh, they are They are
- 1:11:32controlling the battlefield.
- 1:11:35They are controlling the areas of retreat They
- 1:11:38are absolutely controlling any area of advance with
- 1:11:42very few exceptions so maybe Once or twice
- 1:11:48a week a week you will see Some
- 1:11:54kind of a blurb from somewhere about a
- 1:11:58small Small marginally successful ukrainian, uh counter-attack
- 1:12:05so You'll lose a uh a small a
- 1:12:11small city village, you know Two thousand five
- 1:12:16thousand people live in there, right?
- 1:12:20And you will watch how the russians Put
- 1:12:24it in kind of a crucible They bomb
- 1:12:27each parts of the and they leave one
- 1:12:29corridor open for them to retreat and then
- 1:12:33the the they they can retreat and so
- 1:12:35the people go out in the retreat and
- 1:12:38maybe a couple of days later you might
- 1:12:42see somebody Uh from the ukrainian side organized
- 1:12:47well enough to make some sort of a
- 1:12:49small counter-offensive, but they're usually quite bloody
- 1:12:53usually fail And you sometimes see a little
- 1:12:57bit of gain um In the opposite direction
- 1:13:02where or a loss on the russian side
- 1:13:05as far as territory Very small gain and
- 1:13:09then the next day you'll see it pushed
- 1:13:11right back and and but over the last
- 1:13:16Geez, it's got to be at least four
- 1:13:18months Maybe longer hell it could be as
- 1:13:22long as six I haven't seen any any
- 1:13:27steady ukrainian response all you see is russia
- 1:13:33continuing to advance And it is it huge?
- 1:13:38No, is it large amounts of territory?
- 1:13:41It's getting bigger over the last month or
- 1:13:43two, but I think that what's going to
- 1:13:46happen Well, I shouldn't say I think I
- 1:13:48think it would be a safe bet to
- 1:13:51say That what happens now is the same
- 1:13:54thing that happened the last Three winters, right?
- 1:14:00winter of 22 and 23 Winter of 23
- 1:14:07and 24 winter of 24 and 25 and
- 1:14:10so this will be the fourth winter And
- 1:14:15uh, basically The russians made very small gains
- 1:14:19during winter time because they uh, aren't Everybody
- 1:14:26takes a break at that time, you know,
- 1:14:29nobody Is continuing to operate?
- 1:14:33it's uh It's basically Basically over during the
- 1:14:39winter and so russia while they can is
- 1:14:43still pushing them out now the ground is
- 1:14:45frozen And so they could maybe move some
- 1:14:49armor and some tanking and some stuff which
- 1:14:52which can happen Because in the spring in
- 1:14:55the in the early summer, it's just all
- 1:14:57mud, you know from all of the uh,
- 1:15:00all of the rain and the melted, uh
- 1:15:03Snow and all of that.
- 1:15:04It's nothing but mud.
- 1:15:05So these kill zones Especially in zaparizia right
- 1:15:10now um are really Uh, you know the
- 1:15:15open ground and limited crossing turn maneuvers there's
- 1:15:20leaves nothing but a set of bad options
- 1:15:23plus russia's bombing all the bridges, uh for
- 1:15:27retreating and so the bridges disappear and the
- 1:15:31ukrainians don't have the engineering staff to uh
- 1:15:35to create the the Uh The rolling bridges
- 1:15:39that come along with the military Or to
- 1:15:43rebuild any of the civilian sorts of bridges
- 1:15:47Without them getting blown up immediately again and
- 1:15:51so Over the bridge or into the mud
- 1:15:55time is the weapon times the weapon Rotations
- 1:15:59haven't occurred and any that they do try
- 1:16:02to make they have to move through the
- 1:16:03same choke points So the fresh units fresh
- 1:16:07units that are coming to save the uh
- 1:16:09exhausted units hit the same artillery grid That
- 1:16:12the tired ones are leaving and so they
- 1:16:16Both of them are getting hit two ways
- 1:16:18on the way in and then on their
- 1:16:20own retreat.
- 1:16:20It's a it's it's really a sad deal
- 1:16:24So the side with a tighter counter battery
- 1:16:27and the deeper electronic warfare Wins not the
- 1:16:30battle but the months and months of operational
- 1:16:34breathing room, which russia has plenty of Depots
- 1:16:39are resupplied.
- 1:16:40They aren't on the ukrainian side Repairs take
- 1:16:43longer for the ukrainian side than they do
- 1:16:45with the russians So any small victory the
- 1:16:48ukrainians get the russians can counteract in a
- 1:16:51couple of days But the ukrainians on the
- 1:16:54other hand it takes months for them to
- 1:16:56get back to what they lost And they
- 1:16:58can't do it and and the attritional warfare
- 1:17:01is definitely on the side of the russians
- 1:17:05so I mean, there's no romance in this
- 1:17:08war is not romantic.
- 1:17:10This is um you know kill zones are
- 1:17:14like a factory Imagine you're in a factory
- 1:17:19manufacturing whatever product it is It's the exact
- 1:17:24same thing it's not emotional it's not anything
- 1:17:28This is how it works and the russians
- 1:17:31have developed a factory process that works It
- 1:17:36is working the ukrainians Sorry, they cannot continue
- 1:17:42this it will not change It's not gonna
- 1:17:46change unless something very very drastic occurs And
- 1:17:51what that would be I won't ponder a
- 1:17:54guess right now, but this is This is
- 1:17:57bad news.
- 1:17:58So the front Is collapsing on its own
- 1:18:04because russia has a process when I worked
- 1:18:07in uh corporate america, um, especially on the
- 1:18:11uh Hr side.
- 1:18:13I remember getting sent to quality school And
- 1:18:17uh basic the basics of quality management starts
- 1:18:21out with It's a three-step process Say
- 1:18:27what you do Do what you say Then
- 1:18:30prove it right?
- 1:18:32So that's that's the basics of all quality
- 1:18:34management right there and so Uh do what
- 1:18:38you say So I I win wars say
- 1:18:41what you do win a war and then
- 1:18:43prove it I prove it by having a
- 1:18:45process And the processes are very important.
- 1:18:50They talk about internal customers external customers, blah
- 1:18:53blah blah So your external customer if you're
- 1:18:57the russian army is the people of russia
- 1:18:59That's an external customer right your internal customer
- 1:19:03is the guy on the front line Waiting
- 1:19:06for his ammunition So the guy producing the
- 1:19:10ammunition uh Is the ultimate uh supplier of
- 1:19:17the of the Ammunition, but the guy's supplier
- 1:19:21you break everything down to its smallest detail
- 1:19:24Let's say that the guy on the front
- 1:19:27line needs a thousand rounds a day Those
- 1:19:32thousand rounds a day have to come from
- 1:19:34somewhere And usually they'll come from his supply
- 1:19:37sergeant, right?
- 1:19:39So the supply sergeant is his supplier and
- 1:19:43the customer is the private on the front
- 1:19:46lines with the With the need for the
- 1:19:50thousand rounds, okay and uh to to show
- 1:19:53you how huge it is and I know
- 1:19:55this is elementary stuff, but think about this
- 1:19:58the the sergeant the supply sergeant He is
- 1:20:04the customer of the supply Depot which puts
- 1:20:09out Which has to supply him?
- 1:20:14He has 50 customers this little supply sergeant.
- 1:20:17So he needs 50 000 rounds Every day
- 1:20:21And where is he going to get them
- 1:20:23to he has to get them from the
- 1:20:25supply depot?
- 1:20:26Wherein the supply depot is the customer and
- 1:20:29so each one of these is a separate
- 1:20:31process if you can destroy the processes you
- 1:20:35can destroy The guy at the front attempting
- 1:20:39to uh Fight a war on behalf of
- 1:20:43his country and ukraine has no processes It's
- 1:20:48all chaos They have nothing russia.
- 1:20:52Meanwhile has a very well-developed Supply routes
- 1:20:57has very well developed advancement and very well
- 1:21:01developed, uh Manufacturing in the home front and
- 1:21:06it's gone up in fact And the I
- 1:21:09don't want to say it's running like clockwork
- 1:21:11and it's smooth But it's running a hell
- 1:21:13of a lot better than it's running on
- 1:21:15the ukraine side Ukraine's got nothing they got
- 1:21:18blackouts They can't produce anything because their factories
- 1:21:21are shut down And if they're not shut
- 1:21:23down they get shut down pretty quickly And
- 1:21:25then when they by the time they get
- 1:21:27them back up russia bombs them again, and
- 1:21:29then they're they're not there So they're dependent
- 1:21:32completely on the suppliers from external Areas, not
- 1:21:39ukraine and those suppliers have lost interest in
- 1:21:43the supply Because the money's coming from other
- 1:21:46places.
- 1:21:47So so all the way down the line
- 1:21:48if you look at this from some kind
- 1:21:50of a process model long-term This is
- 1:21:57not sustainable for ukraine and and one of
- 1:22:01the biggest supplies That they are missing Is
- 1:22:04manpower they have none?
- 1:22:07so The the the front on the ukrainian
- 1:22:12side Collapses on its own um You know,
- 1:22:16like I said kill zone is a factory
- 1:22:18it converts the opponent's fatigue Into a 200
- 1:22:23meters a week advance from on the russian
- 1:22:26side So ukrainian fatigue equals 200 meters a
- 1:22:30week All up and down this 1200 kilometer
- 1:22:35front So when somebody asks why is everything
- 1:22:37so slow well because the machine, you know
- 1:22:41The machine keeps cutting it's cutting constantly, you
- 1:22:45know an example from my nuclear testing days
- 1:22:48You know how long it takes to dig
- 1:22:50a 10 foot wide 2,000 foot deep
- 1:22:53hole through limestone granite and lava and everything
- 1:22:58else that is down there And you never
- 1:22:59know what it is and they have a
- 1:23:0010 foot wide diamond tipped bits That you
- 1:23:06gotta replace once every couple of days Those
- 1:23:10things cost you so much money and you'd
- 1:23:12say they were surely fabulous.
- 1:23:14That is true But they churn very slowly
- 1:23:18this is the same thing that's going on
- 1:23:21in attritional warfare this is what's happening and
- 1:23:25so I I I I want to get
- 1:23:29rid of any illusions that that people think
- 1:23:32are going to happen.
- 1:23:33I wanted to get to One more nutty
- 1:23:36story that came out on a on a
- 1:23:39topic that has to do with Angelina joe
- 1:23:43lee, okay So here's the straight scoop Angelina
- 1:23:48joe lee has a driver and bodyguard that
- 1:23:51got mobilized in ukraine And I saw it
- 1:23:56and so I tried to get some uh
- 1:23:58Some searches on this about what she was
- 1:24:00doing in ukraine How her driver got picked
- 1:24:03up and whether it was you know This
- 1:24:06should be some sort of a laughing matter
- 1:24:08or not.
- 1:24:08I only got a few minutes to go
- 1:24:10over it So here's the trip joe lee
- 1:24:12made a second her second wartime visit To
- 1:24:16ukraine and she traveled to her son and
- 1:24:19michael.
- 1:24:20I have to meet with medical staff families
- 1:24:22and volunteers the legacy of war foundation Organized
- 1:24:26the trip and they issued a press release
- 1:24:29and photos of the thing reuters put this
- 1:24:32ukrainian pravda key of independent ukraine form And
- 1:24:36they you know all talk about this So
- 1:24:40the purpose of it she highlights civilians living
- 1:24:43under constant drone and missile threat and the
- 1:24:45relocation of hospitals and schools Um, she made
- 1:24:50some remarks, which i'm not going to get
- 1:24:52into.
- 1:24:52I don't really care She stepped down as
- 1:24:55u n's Special envoy in december of 22,
- 1:25:00but she does do some independent humanitarian work
- 1:25:04and she entered a site that several unnamed
- 1:25:08ukrainian officials say that they did that joe
- 1:25:10lee didn't even notify kiev in advance that
- 1:25:13she was coming And she crossed the border
- 1:25:15on foot But this hasn't been confirmed by
- 1:25:18the ukrainian government but vanity fair and multiple
- 1:25:21regional roundups repeat what politico said the politico
- 1:25:25said this but I I don't know.
- 1:25:28I wasn't there So what happened on november
- 1:25:314th and 5th?
- 1:25:33uh near Uh, piv de nor no piv
- 1:25:37de novo ukrainsk and Vozhenevsk Mykolaev oblast, uh,
- 1:25:41one of her drivers got flagged and the
- 1:25:44driver in a commie for military registration issues
- 1:25:48So the ukrainian land forces told unian that
- 1:25:53the man was a ukrainian citizen Born in
- 1:25:561992 and he was a reserve officer that
- 1:26:00didn't have proper deferment documents.
- 1:26:02So they took him and they took him
- 1:26:04to a uh recruitment center And that came
- 1:26:09from zahid.net That there was no conflict
- 1:26:13and joe lee briefly entered the center And
- 1:26:18then continued on her visit so multiple ukrainian
- 1:26:21outlets identify him as dimitro pishchenkov And he's
- 1:26:2733 he's a combat coach, uh from kropiv
- 1:26:35kropiv nitsky And uh his brother yevin and
- 1:26:39his girlfriend yulia lotzkaya uh Talked a little
- 1:26:44bit about him, but he's taken into custody
- 1:26:46Um, his family says he has never served
- 1:26:49in the army.
- 1:26:50He completed military training At a flight academy
- 1:26:5410 years ago and that he had back
- 1:26:56issues like spondyl spondylitis and he held a
- 1:26:592025 medical commission deferral that uh, but that
- 1:27:05he was deemed fit for support in the
- 1:27:08rear unit, but not frontline combat and so
- 1:27:13uh Why was he mobilized is what I
- 1:27:17wanted to find out?
- 1:27:18So multiple outlets say that it was a
- 1:27:20document check and detention But not immediate deployment,
- 1:27:25but later it was said and they he
- 1:27:26put some video out that said he was
- 1:27:29going to stay Medusa the independents based in
- 1:27:33outside of russia reported that he was arrested
- 1:27:36and drafted under mobilization rules Um, it's stronger
- 1:27:41than most of the ukrainian coverage, but it
- 1:27:43is consistent the independent in the uk Says
- 1:27:47that army confirmed and then deleted a brief
- 1:27:50statement and now isn't confirming or denying the
- 1:27:54investigation so russian state media Uh says that
- 1:27:59he remains at the enlistment office, um, and
- 1:28:02he's going to start training um we have
- 1:28:06no idea what their clay what he says
- 1:28:08he did but uh, We do know that
- 1:28:13ukrainian reporting culture, uh regional outlets and agencies
- 1:28:17say this is a routine action and that
- 1:28:22you know, he's going to be Taken out
- 1:28:25was he really joe lee's bodyguard the best
- 1:28:28evidence is really no He was just a
- 1:28:31driver.
- 1:28:32There's no credible reporting that says that he
- 1:28:34lived or came to the u.s. Nothing
- 1:28:36like that um Let's see Where did he
- 1:28:42go after that joe lee's visit was verified
- 1:28:46the fact that he's a driver in her
- 1:28:47convoy that was verified Whether he's mobilized.
- 1:28:51We don't really know and uh Who knows
- 1:28:54but there's plenty?
- 1:28:56plenty here Anjali angelina joe lee's frontline visit,
- 1:29:02you know, I have my own questions about
- 1:29:03that and why she thinks it's uh, Important
- 1:29:06or necessary for her to do if she
- 1:29:08was really reporting from there You know i'd
- 1:29:11like to hear about it, you know, but
- 1:29:13I haven't seen much on it There's very
- 1:29:15little so maybe i'll see if I can
- 1:29:17round some of that information up for you
- 1:29:19tomorrow night and we will regroup Then Huh,
- 1:29:24what do you think?
- 1:29:25How would that be?
- 1:29:26I shall start with that tomorrow night.
- 1:29:28I think I will see I'll see if
- 1:29:30I even remember that far.
- 1:29:32This is samuel trap.
