- 0:00Hey, hi. Hello, How you doing?
- 0:02Welcome back to another episode of the After Hours podcast with
- 0:04Faction Motorsports. On today's episode we hang out
- 0:09with Chris Benzuela of Faction Motorsports.
- 0:13Chris is the lead technician here.
- 0:17Also my, I guess longest employee of Faction Motorsports
- 0:23as well. So, and more importantly, a very
- 0:27good friend of mine and on this episode, we kind of just talk
- 0:29about what's going on in the shop and pretty much just
- 0:34bullshit about whatever. Carl and Chris have been friends
- 0:37for a very long time, I think 10 to 15 years at this point, at
- 0:43least 10 years. So they they, they know each
- 0:46other pretty well. It was a it was a fun episode
- 0:49and I hope you guys enjoy it. Just a reminder, we are giving
- 0:53away products every month over on factionmotorsports.com.
- 0:56Every $5 spent gets you one entry and Faction Motorsports
- 0:59merch and products get you double entries.
- 1:02And for the month of September, we are giving away a steering
- 1:05wheel and hub package for any vehicle of your choosing.

- 1:12wheels. So check the steering wheels out

- 1:25products is double entry. So Nardy and Personal steering
- 1:28wheels are our favorite steering wheels.
- 1:29They're kind of Drift Culture's favorite steering wheels, I
- 1:32would say. So this is definitely an awesome

- 5:38Yeah, the AC broke. Oh, dude.
- 5:41And they had me eat Curry just now, Ken.
- 5:42It was delicious. But now I'm just sweating out of
- 5:45or every orifice in my body. Tonight.
- 5:47We're here to bring you another guest.
- 5:49Not just any other guest. It is the guest of all guests.
- 5:52We have Chris Bands of Faction Motorsports, everybody, and
- 5:58Helen, she's in the, she's over here on the side in the
- 6:02bleachers. We got our spectators full
- 6:04audience. Dude, yeah, I'm sweating
- 6:06literally fucking bad. Now I can hear the fan when Carl
- 6:10talks. Why?
- 6:11Don't you back up the fan a little bit?
- 6:13I don't think it's that one. I think didn't you guys just put
- 6:14another fan up that? One's.
- 6:16Yeah, that one's silent. So quiet, so quiet.
- 6:18OK, then it probably is that one I guess.
- 6:21Thank you, Malcolm. It's not really doing anything
- 6:22anyway. Back it up.
- 6:23I don't know about you, but like I could do like the most
- 6:25minuscule athletic thing and I will sweat so badly.
- 6:31Like what do I do about that? Am I just fucked?
- 6:33No, you just have a. What was that perspiration?
- 6:36Hyperhidrosis. I don't know.
- 6:38Ivan. What?
- 6:41And one of the first things I knew about Ivan Jay was that his
- 6:43hands were sweaty, and that's all hyperhidrosis.
- 6:46He sweats easily. You know the fix for that is
- 6:48right? What, you piss on your hands?
- 6:49No what? What?
- 6:52No way. That's a Philippine like
- 6:54folklore thing, You know, they're like, oh, you need to
- 6:56piss on your hands. Never heard it.
- 6:59Does it work? I wouldn't know my hands are dry
- 7:02as I'll. I have the opposite problem.
- 7:03I sweat a lot. Dude, not like this.
- 7:06Not when I eat like, yeah, like whatever just happened to you?
- 7:09No, but I sweat like that. Is you think it's an allergic
- 7:11reaction, there's just like a dude.
- 7:14It's not. That wasn't really spicy at all.
- 7:15I feel like there was just like a lot of cumin in that bitch and
- 7:18I was just like, no, it's just. I had some spice.
- 7:20It did. Yeah, definitely.
- 7:22It was spicier than the original.
- 7:24You're making Curry with no spice is kind of on brand.
- 7:28That's all you. Had it was good.
- 7:29That's what you had on your on your BBQ.
- 7:32It was so good. It was the normal 1.
- 7:34The the BBQ that Frankie didn't go to, Yeah, that's the same
- 7:36everybody in this room. Was there?
- 7:39Was there? I was working on my car.
- 7:42Sorry, you know what? I won't work on my.
- 7:43Car I'll actually that's that's totally fine.
- 7:45What did you get done? The inside is ready to paint
- 7:48now. I will walk out there.
- 7:51Right it is. It's good.
- 7:53That's all right. OK, yeah.
- 7:54So we're we're you're. Lucky Chris.
- 7:56You're lucky Chris is here. I'm.
- 7:57Out I'm out I'm. Out We're ready to go now so.
- 8:00Holy crap. Frankie's away for the weekend
- 8:02so we're going to wait till the next week but.
- 8:04You're locked in. Can we can we smoke in here?
- 8:08Frankie or your Ed? Yeah, no, Frankie Fresh Chavez.
- 8:12Chavez oh why you got to Weld some more shit up.
- 8:14What? Are.
- 8:15You doing I was going to take they were here.
- 8:17I thought everyone you got. To Weld some stuff up or
- 8:19something. Not entirely, but yeah 1 area
- 8:23would be nice to just touch up. So that's why you're waiting for
- 8:25Frankie. Yeah.
- 8:26So technically it's not 100% that, but we're close.
- 8:29We're very, very close. This is the closest.
- 8:31Easy. Yeah.
- 8:33Do you work on it like during the day?
- 8:34No, I try to but. Do you are you doing like work
- 8:38stuff during the day? Isn't that what Chris is for?
- 8:40I'm doing everything else. I'm not working in the shop
- 8:43really, unless there's tires. I do tires sometimes.
- 8:46Yeah, yeah, he's the the Lube tech.
- 8:48I'm literally the Lube tech. Yeah.
- 8:50Like sometimes I do alignment if I have to.
- 8:52It's been a while, but. How's it been working here,
- 8:55Chris? Are you good?
- 8:55That's good, Frankie, you're safe.
- 8:57Frankie's the type of he likes to work alone.
- 9:01Definitely like. 0 distractions. Easily I've I know this.
- 9:05Because if he was here, we would fuck around too much.
- 9:08Well, it is fun. When I go in the shop, I will
- 9:10say that Ariana goes on. Ariana goes on.
- 9:14We're screaming shit because I feel like when you're in a shop
- 9:17you should be screaming profanities like that's the
- 9:19only. Way I see the shop and I think
- 9:22of like when I go in the garage, I'm playing like divorced dad
- 9:26rock. Players.
- 9:27Yeah, that's the. Standard.
- 9:29Oh my God. That's the standard, but I don't
- 9:31know, Chris is too soft for that kind of stuff.
- 9:33He just wants to listen to. This is who?
- 9:36What are you? What's, what's your go to music,
- 9:38Chris? R&B.
- 9:39Yeah, I see. I can tell you what kind of
- 9:41music Chris is playing. One Wish by Ray J or some shit.
- 9:44He plays some baby making music sometimes, so.
- 9:46Dude, I don't make babies to that music.
- 9:48Good. Me and his Who's going?
- 9:51So wait, what does Jesus? Does Jesus ever put music on?
- 9:54No, me and his Zeus have similar taste in music.
- 9:59It it like he doesn't have a specific genre?
- 10:03Sometimes he'll wonder. He rarely ever puts music on.
- 10:06I wonder, like what a lot of the listeners listen to, Like when
- 10:09it's in the garage, I feel like that's not even that far off.
- 10:12I feel like Ariana Grande is. Definitely far.
- 10:15Off that shit is far off. Like I don't, I don't think
- 10:19that. It's not just me.
- 10:20Chris puts her on too. Chris is probably the reason I'm
- 10:22obsessed with Ariana Grande. I feel like that's Chris because
- 10:25Chris is one of the most, like, kind people that I know and
- 10:28we've been friends now for over like probably a decade.
- 10:30I am probably says who? Helen but, but like, I feel
- 10:37like, are you the type of person where you would put this, put a
- 10:40song on because you're like, oh, Frankie's in the shop.
- 10:42Let me let me spice it up a little.
- 10:44Bit Oh, he would, yeah. I would, but not all the time.
- 10:47Yes, the music really determines on how busy the day is.
- 10:52If it's busy busy, it's fast-paced music, whether it's.
- 10:57How fast rock? Malcolm, you better get ready to
- 11:00get on the mic. Why?
- 11:02Malcolm can tell you exactly what mood you're in by the music
- 11:04that goes on. Oh.
- 11:05Yeah, it depends. What is that supposed to be?
- 11:08The moment Chris is triggered or mad he puts on some under not
- 11:14underground but like old school hip hop where just oh.
- 11:16Yes, or boom. Bat Type No.
- 11:19No, no, no, no, no, no when. He's old New York style rap
- 11:22where just. When he's mad mad, he only puts
- 11:25on one fucking type of song. I think it's one song.
- 11:29Knuck if you buck. What's your mad song like?
- 11:31I'm talking you're pissed as fuck.
- 11:34Like I'm having a hard like a rough day.
- 11:36The worst? And like, I'm pissed off.
- 11:38Yeah, and you're, you're still listening to music.
- 11:41Rain raining blood Slayer. No, no, no, that's never come on
- 11:44in this shop so far, so thank God for that.
- 11:47Take it down a couple notches. Work ASAP Ferg.
- 11:51Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 11:53Yeah, yeah, Or Yamborghini High. Chris likes Yamborghini High.
- 11:56Yeah, that's. Too chill.
- 11:56But those type, would you call that a trap music?
- 11:59What would you call? That no, it's just 90s rap.
- 12:01It is, yeah. I mean like 2000.
- 12:04No, no, no. I'm 17.
- 12:05Yeah, yeah, yeah. It starts with work by ASAP Ferg
- 12:08and then it eventually turns into 90s rap.
- 12:11Yeah. But that comes on kind of, yeah.
- 12:15I mean, it might come on when you're not that happy, but it
- 12:18comes on pretty regular. That's kind of like, that's
- 12:19really just what Daryl plays in the in the shop, really.
- 12:22It's like New York City hip hop, like 90s New York City.
- 12:25Like that, but that one song, that ASAP Ferg song work, that
- 12:30song comes on. I already know unlike Chris is
- 12:33over. Got a high?
- 12:35It's usually the. End of the day, it's.
- 12:37Usually towards the end of the day.
- 12:38You've been you haven't been on a Taylor thing lately.
- 12:40Taylor Swift. I don't play Taylor Swift in the
- 12:43shop because no one's going to want to hear that, but everyone
- 12:45here likes Ariana Grande, so. Do.
- 12:49You he loves Ariana Grande. I'm telling you he's the reason
- 12:51that I listen to Ariana Grande. It has to be.
- 12:55You would put on. Well, you still have the little
- 12:57small shop. Yeah, and you, it's almost time
- 12:59to play Santa, baby motherfucker.
- 13:01That's my favorite. That's my favorite.
- 13:03That's a good Ariana Grande song.
- 13:04I'll give it to you. Little 7.
- 13:05Ring, I'll give it to you. There was also like this one
- 13:08that was like pretty upbeat and I can't remember.
- 13:12You like her music too? Yeah.
- 13:13I feel like I liked her like back in the day.
- 13:16I like her right now. I feel like I look her, look at
- 13:18her right now and I'm like, that can be Ariana Grande.
- 13:21People change, you know. What they like lose blood or
- 13:25something? Like she's looking pale and
- 13:27shit. All right, let's change the
- 13:28subject. Here are some fucking vitamins
- 13:30or. Something let's not talk shit
- 13:31about my girl all. Right, that's insane.
- 13:32But. You play your Carl when you're
- 13:34in the shop. When I'm in the shop, I.
- 13:35Don't even answer 80's rock. Yeah, that's accurate.
- 13:38Yeah, yeah, dude, just 80's rock.
- 13:41Or lately, if it's we. Built this city.
- 13:43Yeah, dude. We built this.
- 13:47City on rock and I'm just. Laying there like Yep, but if if
- 13:52it's more than one person, sometimes if I'm in the shop,
- 13:56like let's say it's me and tits, I'm betting on pop bunk.
- 13:59I know, I know tits is we we should have tits on the podcast.
- 14:02I thought we. Did we?
- 14:03Didn't we have? Never brought tits on the
- 14:04podcast. People have no idea who tits is.
- 14:06Yeah, I feel they're still probably picturing like a larger
- 14:08I'm. Picturing a big dude, no.
- 14:10Like tits is actually ripped. Yeah, like scary ripped.
- 14:14Every time I see him I'm like, really?
- 14:15You're not his tits. And he doesn't work out or
- 14:17anything. He's just, I'm like, what do you
- 14:18do? She was like, aw, just fucking
- 14:20diet. I'm like.
- 14:22So what do you guys listen to? Pop on always just oh really?
- 14:25Yeah, like state champs and fucking like Fall Out Boy and
- 14:31shit. I listen to Metal Core when I
- 14:33want to actually work. What is Metal Core?
- 14:35Pretty much. Is that like Will's?
- 14:38Kind of. No.
- 14:39Like, no, but more. So yeah, there's a lot of
- 14:43screaming, but there's a lot of clean bold.
- 14:45Dudes will, if I want will to hear that, judge that that was
- 14:47pretty fucking. Malcolm was trying to scream the
- 14:49other day right now. Yeah, he's like he's.
- 14:53Like, let's learn how to scream. I was like you can did.
- 14:58He try. I think he tried.
- 14:59What did he try or no, he didn't really.
- 15:02I'm really bad. I kind of like I was just
- 15:05throwing up. Did you actually watch the
- 15:10video? Somebody informed us that there
- 15:11was like a thing where they shoved the the camera down his
- 15:14throat. Well, I think that was when.
- 15:15He was doing all the stuff. I think they were doing that
- 15:17when he was filming with that charisma.
- 15:21I don't don't charisma, charisma boy.
- 15:24I don't know what her name is on YouTube, but it's really
- 15:27fucking. Cool lady.
- 15:28That was like, I was like, what the?
- 15:30Fuck, they probably did that when he was there.
- 15:32But I know what I know what it looks like inside of Will.
- 15:36The video that was really weird got paused.
- 15:38That's nuts. But.
- 15:39So he does. I would never want someone to I.
- 15:42Know I'm like damn I feel like I would throw up.
- 15:45God, good for him, but yeah. Scary ass voice.
- 15:49Yeah, we try to put it on sometimes in the shop, but.
- 15:52It's terrifying. When Jeremy comes with the tools
- 15:54on Fridays, that's when we put. It on Who's Jeremy?
- 15:58The tool guy. We're trying to get him to do a
- 15:59podcast. Oh dude, he's he's got you guys
- 16:01by the balls probably. Probably just me.
- 16:06Just Chris. Yeah, the snap on trucks got us
- 16:08fucked. Oh yeah, it's like a different
- 16:10guy. Yeah.
- 16:11So Jeremy brings like everything else.
- 16:13So Milwaukee stuff, pretty much anything that's not Snap On he
- 16:16can get, you know, but Snap On pretty much only a snap On and
- 16:20whatever they have deals with so.
- 16:23What's the most recent tool you bought from Nick Chris, I feel
- 16:25like you always got cool tools. Ever since I've known you, you
- 16:27always got the cool. Tools from Snap On.
- 16:28No, just from like I guess Jeremy, he was here the most
- 16:31recently. Sounds like he's coming here
- 16:33tomorrow. So a ball joint tie rod removal
- 16:37tool. The like.
- 16:38The metal one. Yeah, it's like a clamping.
- 16:40So instead of banging the knuckle, it just puts pressure.
- 16:44Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Harvard, Frego, one of those.
- 16:46I've gone through three of those, I think.
- 16:48Yeah. And it's so scary when I use it.
- 16:50It's like. Bangs.
- 16:52No, but see tits gives you well, you tighten it up.
- 16:55If it doesn't go, don't fucking make the tool break.
- 16:58That's now now you just fucking give it a little tap smart and
- 17:02and bro, that shit will fucking like I'm like ah.
- 17:06So scary tits is smart. This is a really good guy.
- 17:08Really smart guy too. With tools.
- 17:10Yeah, fucking works like hell, dude.
- 17:13How has work been over the last five years, Chris?
- 17:15Is it 5? Five years.
- 17:17Have you been here for five years?
- 17:18It's about to be 6 in May God. Damn you.
- 17:20Well, you go. You about to retire?
- 17:22I wish I. Don't know about that.
- 17:26No, he's he. He doesn't wish.
- 17:28It it's been, it's been good. I feel like you there's.
- 17:31Definitely. There's definitely been a lot of
- 17:33progression in the shop. Yeah.
- 17:35Compared to when we first started.
- 17:37So. Why is that funny?
- 17:39Because I just wonder what he's going to say.
- 17:41What? Do you mean?
- 17:43Like. The size of the shop.
- 17:45Yeah. The overall condition of the
- 17:47shop, The amount of workflow. Yeah, true.
- 17:51How about the ease of workflow? Dude, when I came here bigger.
- 17:53Shop like, make them easier. Yeah.
- 17:57Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:58Except when you have something in your toolbox and you got to
- 18:01go to the alignment rack. But yeah.
- 18:03Yeah, you have to walk like half a mile like.
- 18:06Oh, oh oh oh, we got to walk 15 to 20 feet in a in a climate
- 18:14controlled area. It's 50 feet.
- 18:17It's. Actually not climate controlled.
- 18:19Yeah, don't say climate control, OK in a.
- 18:20Shielded area OK, lit up clean. Look man, it used to be the
- 18:27lineman rack was fucking 10 feet away from Chris's toolbox, but
- 18:30now it's. 50 feet. Yeah, that's the hardest thing
- 18:34we have to deal with. No.
- 18:35Oh no. I think, I think when we when I
- 18:37first came here probably had like Max 4 cars in one week.
- 18:43Now we got like 4 cars in one day.
- 18:46That's sick. I mean, you can't not do that,
- 18:48you know you got. Yeah, you kind of have to pay
- 18:52bills, so it gets kind of stressful.
- 18:54But well, Chris is always, Chris is a very dedicated employee, so
- 19:00he takes the work home with him. In his brain, people will know
- 19:03what that means, but that's how. Oh, no, yes, don't.
- 19:06Don't. Why?
- 19:07Don't say that. So he'll be Googling shit at
- 19:09night trying to figure out what the fuck the problem is with the
- 19:11car. Taking it out on Helen like.
- 19:15You know the meme where the girl's like, I wonder what he's
- 19:16thinking about like when they're both in bed and then Chris and
- 19:20then it goes to Chris and he's like, what the fuck is that
- 19:22problem with that tie rod? I wonder if and that's probably
- 19:26what. There's literally times where
- 19:28we'll be at home and I'll say it on my computer and I'm like,
- 19:31sorry babe, I need to look something up real quick.
- 19:34Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I get it.
- 19:37I I don't want to say do you need one?
- 19:39Nah. I'm going.
- 19:40I don't want to say that a lot of us are probably like that,
- 19:43but if you're working on something like I'm not going to
- 19:45be able to. Dude, I've been obsessed with
- 19:47this fucking chop for months. I couldn't get it to work.
- 19:51I haven't touched the IS in forever because you just day and
- 19:56night, day and night. Why do I even care about this
- 19:58thing like? Because you're trying to chop.
- 20:00Around because I'm trying to fucking fix it.
- 20:02That's all. I feel like if you, if you're
- 20:03into it, you're just, it's hard not to care about.
- 20:05It I think the problem is you want to fix it so you're very
- 20:09like. I can only think about this
- 20:11right now because I'm trying to. Yeah, but.
- 20:14And it's hard to not do that. That's why people with multiple
- 20:17car projects going on at the same time, like kind of like
- 20:20Jimmy honestly, even though that is his job, it's like Jesus
- 20:23fucking Christ, so many different fucking things going
- 20:26on. Well, some people just operate
- 20:27good like that. I feel like when it's under
- 20:29pressure, dude, how many things have we had to do?
- 20:30Like, oh shit, we got to get this done like right now and we
- 20:34got to get it out. It's like normal shit.
- 20:37And. Unfortunately, you're just going
- 20:40to have to do it, which blows like, I just want to like, I
- 20:46want to maybe. But when it's a problem, which
- 20:49is kind of what we're talking about, like when you can't
- 20:51figure something out and then it's just on your mind and.
- 20:56There's been multiple times where Frankie had to tell me to
- 20:58just, dude, just go home. Yeah, worry about it tomorrow.
- 21:02But The thing is like, there's like a middle ground.
- 21:06You have to find the middle ground.
- 21:07Because yeah, you need to 1 the customer needs their car back,
- 21:10but then two like we can only. What we always say is like, I
- 21:16tried to tell Chris I'm like, I mean, me and me and Chris are we
- 21:21were talking about this the other day.
- 21:22We're we're basically partners, but not on paper, but we feel
- 21:26that way. But the perk of not being
- 21:29partners is I always tell him, I'm like, when you leave here,
- 21:33leave it here. That's dude.
- 21:35Imagine, don't imagine what this guy does.
- 21:38Yeah, I'm surprised you still got hair.
- 21:40For real. Barely, but yeah.
- 21:42So that's. But then at the same time when
- 21:45he tells me that he does go home and thinks about work and stuff
- 21:50like that, at the same time in my head I'm like he should a
- 21:53little bit because if he wasn't at all then that would mean he
- 21:56doesn't give a fuck. Yeah, I don't care.
- 21:58But you know, there's so there's like a middle ground.
- 22:01It's like, I don't want you to leave here and stress about it
- 22:03and ruin your whole night. I don't want, I don't want that
- 22:05to happen. That's my job.
- 22:06So I don't want that to happen. But if you were like, oh, I have
- 22:10an idea. I did it and it's 10:00 at
- 22:12night. You're like, let me just search
- 22:13and you look at which is probably.
- 22:15What you do? It also derives from my previous
- 22:18job and then when we and I came here for the first time because
- 22:23technically I was the only employee.
- 22:24Yeah. So there's nobody else to blame.
- 22:27Yeah. So I have to make sure I'm on
- 22:28top of my shit. Yeah, and that.
- 22:31Was one of the things I hate to think about it like that.
- 22:33God damn like ah shit I remember.
- 22:36Were you the only employee at your other job too, or not?
- 22:38For a little while, yeah. Yeah, because that was like one
- 22:41of the things that you hated at your other job.
- 22:43I remember. I didn't.
- 22:46I didn't. I didn't hate it, but Debbie
- 22:48didn't like it. Yeah, because it's just there's
- 22:51a lot more weight on my shoulders now.
- 22:53So it's like, yeah, I don't know, it's just such a weird
- 22:57thing because like you, it's a good thing that you care about.
- 23:02That's, that's what makes you such a good technician.
- 23:05If you didn't have that characteristic, you would not be
- 23:09the person you are. It would, it would not be that
- 23:11way because you you would let shit go.
- 23:15You know, the only time where I didn't care was the dealership.
- 23:18Yeah, because it feels like you're working for a fucking
- 23:20corporation. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:21It's not personable, you know? Yeah, I feel like so.
- 23:26We have another friend of ours that he's in Georgia, though,
- 23:29but works at a BMW dealership. Shout out, James, but it sounds
- 23:33like when he's working there, I don't know, like, maybe it's
- 23:37just like, yeah, yeah. Like I've.
- 23:39I've asked him. He's been there for a while.
- 23:41No. Right.
- 23:41There's dealers I'm sure that are good.
- 23:43Yeah, yeah. I mean, it seems like dude, I
- 23:45mean, he said that his looks like an Amazon warehouse.
- 23:47It's huge. Yeah.
- 23:48But most, I mean in our area, Nissan dealerships were
- 23:51terrible. They were like the bottom of the
- 23:52barrel. As far as like, yeah, just refer
- 23:54to the Brian episode. You haven't already, dude.
- 23:57I've been using that term blown smoke.
- 23:59And now when my mom goes to the dealer, Oh my God, I want to
- 24:01fucking kill somebody. Yeah, but you see the reports
- 24:03they give her and I'm. Like mom, why the fuck are you
- 24:06doing this? And she's like, I didn't want to
- 24:08bother you. And I'm like, oh shit.
- 24:09But we, I mean, we try to, we kind of try to emulate the
- 24:13dealership a little bit here with the inspection sheet and
- 24:17this and that, but we just don't do the bullshit part where
- 24:20you're trying to RIP people off, you know?
- 24:22You just like the readability of it.
- 24:23Yeah, I like that because it feels nice when you get that
- 24:26you're like, oh, someone actually did something, you
- 24:27know, and, and it's good for the technicians because they
- 24:30actually have a process that they can go through instead of
- 24:32just like, yeah, let me know if you see anything.
- 24:35And then it's like, OK, let me just look at this and then, OK,
- 24:38we're good. And you totally forget to look
- 24:39at one other thing, you know what I mean?
- 24:40But if you have a sheet that a process that you got to go
- 24:43through, you kind of check off all the boxes and then.
- 24:46Well, in the dealership, you kind of have to exaggerate the
- 24:48story a little bit as opposed to here.
- 24:50If something's like let's say your brakes are down to like 3
- 24:55millimetres on the measurement, that's.
- 24:57Ain't that kind of low? That's low.
- 24:59That's. Right.
- 25:01Three millimetres. I'm like shit but.
- 25:02It's usable though. It's still, it's still usable.
- 25:05I would if the customer asked me, like do you think I can
- 25:08still drive around? I'm like, yeah, you probably got
- 25:09like 4 to 6 months, maybe 8. Which is pretty good.
- 25:13It's a lot of time. Like if you're broke, yeah, you
- 25:16know, so. 3mm. Yeah, it sounds like it's
- 25:19nothing, but it actually is something.
- 25:24I don't know that's. Got to be no.
- 25:26I mean, we will tell them like hey, like you should probably do
- 25:28breaks in, but you could wait a little bit.
- 25:31Yeah, like your real is like bro.
- 25:33Like we we try to keep it a buck.
- 25:34With you, money is not growing on trees right now, which is
- 25:38nuts. How We've not invented that.
- 25:40It is kind of crazy. I keep thinking about that every
- 25:42day because how shit is so expensive like.
- 25:46Yeah, I'm doing. But everything is.
- 25:49Literally everything is, but there's things that you can do
- 25:51to just try to make it better. Dude I feel like I'm pretty
- 25:54budgeted and frugal with my drifting program so far.
- 25:59It's like I don't really go out of my way to like do things or
- 26:04buy things when I don't need them.
- 26:06The car works. Your car is working.
- 26:09Like if you wanted to drift it right now, you'd think it would
- 26:10work. It'd probably work a couple
- 26:13laps, couple laps. I know it's doing that thing.
- 26:15Wouldn't the? That shit.
- 26:17Hello. Is it still doing that?
- 26:20Oh yeah. Fuck.
- 26:22Trust me Frank Garrity track I'm visiting.
- 26:24Well, and then he told me the situation and how serious it
- 26:26was, and I was like, all right, well, maybe, yeah, maybe take
- 26:29that motor out sooner than later.
- 26:32Yeah. Because like, I don't know if it
- 26:35if the pexy fucking piracy knock sensor knock reading wasn't
- 26:39bouncing like a motherfucker when he was on throttle, then
- 26:41maybe keep fucking around. But that's like a it's a good
- 26:45sign that like things are not going well inside.
- 26:47So the more you drive it, the more damage you're going to do.
- 26:50The parts that aren't made anymore.
- 26:52God forbid fucking window of the block.
- 26:54Then you just increase the price of this a lot.
- 26:58So like you could get lucky, you could take that out and the
- 27:01crank is still OK and let's. Yank that bitch.
- 27:04We're air going to. Leave it in the auto preserve.
- 27:07It's coming. Dude, that that'll be, that'd be
- 27:10sick. And all the kits bro, just
- 27:12fucking kits galore back there now.
- 27:15Have you not taken a look at what's in the shop right now?
- 27:17It's kind of full in the shop, but yeah, no, his car is coming.
- 27:21Yeah, it's a priority now, so. That's good.
- 27:24He's got no choice, got no option now.
- 27:26Yikes. Dude, you guys, we got to go to
- 27:28final about next year because I'm going.
- 27:30To be we should go to final about.
- 27:31Me, Quan and Ethan, I got a plan.
- 27:33I got a. Vision yellow fever.
- 27:35We got products we got, we got shirts, we got everything we
- 27:37got. Then you just come out with a
- 27:38shirt. Yeah, we did.
- 27:40We're going to be selling them. It's nice and plain Hobby.
- 27:42Like shout out hobby. He's the creative brains between
- 27:46behind everything and then we just like spit bullshit and then
- 27:49Javi will just like. Yeah, that reminds me, I got to
- 27:52do my vendor application now for final mount.
- 27:55Yeah, you should. For two years from now.
- 27:58Put that in. Now just make sure.
- 27:59Dude, I hope that we fucking actually make it far enough.
- 28:02I know I'm fucking just chatting bullshit but I know we wanted to
- 28:05always do it but. Like, I mean, dude, I'd said
- 28:07this already, I think, but this year was the year that I wanted
- 28:10to shut down the shop and have him and Jesus come out and like
- 28:14everyone goes. And then that shit happened and
- 28:16I was like, OK. It sounded so fun from everybody
- 28:20else, dude. And then we, we almost still
- 28:22made it happen. But the thing with John and them
- 28:25going and then if we are all going to, we were all, we almost
- 28:28all took the van. I was like, if we all take the
- 28:30van and we all split gas, then fuck it, I'll, I'll go.
- 28:34But it's just they had other plans and everything, so it
- 28:36wasn't going to make sense. John who?
- 28:38Fortunato, Fortunato and Eric and Ron.
- 28:41It shout out John first of all. John has my trailer right now
- 28:43and he also fixed it. I guess.
- 28:46I guess I like rubbed through a wire for one of the trailer
- 28:49brakes. He's like the trailer brakes are
- 28:50kind of weak. And I was like, are they?
- 28:53And then he he was like, I fixed the wire and I'm like, damn, I
- 28:56can't wait to try that shit. That's going to be nice.
- 28:58It's just going to go like John. Whenever you want to fix mine,
- 29:01let me know. But dude, shout out John
- 29:03Fortunano. That guy's.
- 29:05He's cool. Yeah, he's, he saved my ass the
- 29:08other week. I, I was riding the bike and
- 29:13then I guess the valve cover fell off like in the valve cover
- 29:17on a motorcycle on that. Everybody freaks out when I say
- 29:19that, but it's really like this big.
- 29:21It's like this big. I was going to use because I
- 29:24found a bunch of cans on the side of the road.
- 29:25I was going to use the bottom of this and like shove it in there.
- 29:30Didn't work. How far were you from?
- 29:32A mile and a half like or maybe maybe like 3 1/2 miles or three
- 29:37miles it. Would have been annoying to push
- 29:38that home. No, it would have been fucked.
- 29:41So then I called Joe first, my roommate, and I'm like, Joe,
- 29:46like, are you on your way home from work?
- 29:47Like it was probably like 4:00 4/30.
- 29:50I like got home from the booth pretty early and I was like, you
- 29:52know what, I'm going to fucking ride this thing.
- 29:55And then like Joe was like, I'm just leaving now.
- 29:58I'll be there in an hour. Then I was like, who else lives
- 30:01near us? And John came to mind and I was
- 30:04like, this is such a weird favor for me to ask.
- 30:07So like, I just called John and I'm like, yo, I'm kind of
- 30:10stranded right now, like. Does he?
- 30:13He lives close, right? Yeah, he lives like 10 minutes
- 30:15or so, maybe less for me. And then he's like, yeah, can
- 30:18you like come help me out? Or like, I know you have the
- 30:20Taco. We could try to pick it up and
- 30:21put it in the bed. And he's like, yeah, sure, I'll
- 30:23come over. Pulls up, gets a ashtray that's
- 30:26like domed out like this. It's a old license plate that's
- 30:29just been, like, punched out to look like an ashtray.
- 30:32Just pulls that out and he's like, dude, I think we could cut
- 30:35this and make one. And I was like, yo, that's
- 30:39chopping. That's chopping.
- 30:43So I'm like, yeah, hell yeah. He actually took a picture of me
- 30:45while I was like kind of fiddling with the thing that he
- 30:47made. But we cut a circle out, drilled
- 30:50the holes because he brought everything, drill bits, bolts
- 30:52and shit. Like I was like, I need 10 mils.
- 30:54That's all I said. Brought a bunch of bolts.
- 30:56We slap it on. I'm like, yeah, that looks like
- 30:58it'll work. I roll, we start going, I'm
- 31:02like, oh, I think it's fine. And then that's when I took a
- 31:05video on the way home because I, I made one, right?
- 31:07We split. As soon as we split, I'm riding,
- 31:11I'm like, damn, my leg's kind of hot again.
- 31:13And then like I look down and it's just raining out of the
- 31:18fucking valve cover, dude. Like I've got to be like 1/4
- 31:22have 1/4 in a mile that I lost. Well, it wasn't going to be a
- 31:24perfect seal, you know. I mean the problem was when I
- 31:27the reason why I found out it was fucked was one everybody
- 31:31behind me stopped and I was like.
- 31:34They're waiting for you to catch fire.
- 31:35No, they're like what the hell? Their car probably was so
- 31:37fucked. Oh yeah.
- 31:39But they, I don't think they, well, maybe it was hitting.
- 31:41The windshield. Why is the wipers not?
- 31:43Working Why aren't they like they one wipe now you're blind.
- 31:46Imagine. But then my leg, I was just
- 31:49riding and all of a sudden I'm like, damn.
- 31:53Damn, it's warm. Out kind of hot like why is my
- 31:55leg mad hot? I looked down whole pan leg
- 31:59covered in oil and it was hot. It was pretty hot.
- 32:01You know Walmart jeans. Don't be sleeping on the Walmart
- 32:04jeans, do you? Still have those jeans or you
- 32:06threw it out? I threw them out but but they
- 32:08like kept me like my leg wasn't burning.
- 32:10Thought he was about to be a Ghost Rider just on fire.
- 32:12And then and then, yeah, I was just like, holy shit.
- 32:16Like, what the fuck? So then while John was coming,
- 32:19was, was going there. I literally just walked like 2
- 32:211/2 miles. I I could, I probably walked for
- 32:23five more minutes. I would have been in my house,
- 32:26but I was just like looking for the valve cover.
- 32:27I couldn't find him. But shout out John Fortunato,
- 32:30man. Yeah, you remember, you know,
- 32:32Chris had a bike before. Oh yeah.
- 32:35Frankie rode it. Yo, Helen.
- 32:37I didn't ride it fast enough honestly.
- 32:38Should Chris get a you would love if a Harley on the back.
- 32:43Chris would look so sick. I took her, she said.
- 32:45Yeah, Sean's bike. Street Glide.
- 32:50Street Glide? Chris is a Street Glide guy,
- 32:51dude. Yo, yeah, he's a Street Glide
- 32:54guy. That we would looks mad cool
- 32:57dude. Get the big speakers on it.
- 32:58Just start going fucking. Get T bars soon.
- 33:02Performance bagger. That's what they call him now.
- 33:04Performance Bagger. Yeah, because they they do all
- 33:06this shit to him. Which one is they put T bars.
- 33:08They they do all the Dyna modifications to a bagger and
- 33:12it's pretty sick, but I told myself I wouldn't get a bagger
- 33:15until I was 40 so. Baggers look cool.
- 33:19A couple more. Dude, baggers look cool.
- 33:22Bobby's sick. Is Bobby's a bagger?
- 33:25Yeah. Rd.
- 33:25Glide. Street Glide, Yeah.
- 33:27Dude, that thing is sweet. That's the kind of biker picture
- 33:29you want. The bike there I rode was
- 33:32comfortable. Yeah.
- 33:33What's the sound for me? Do you not like it?
- 33:36Oh, you like the street? The street bike?
- 33:39I did too. Equal length manifold.
- 33:42I did too bro, but there's like something like weird now with my
- 33:45bike or well, Wags's bike it's. Just that's your bike.
- 33:49Now it just sounds so fucking like, like, what is this?
- 33:54It like, just sounds weird. It doesn't sound like fast, you
- 33:56know what I mean? Like Malcolm and Frankie's bike
- 33:59does. Yeah, but they're probably they
- 34:02are fast. They're definitely fast.
- 34:04But like. Yeah, I mean 2 to one makes the
- 34:06exhaust sound different too, but I don't know.
- 34:09Chris just wants to go like fucking biker boys.
- 34:11Yeah, yeah, you're not going to get that noise that he likes
- 34:14from from a fucking V twin so. We should, but you're.
- 34:19Not going to buy one of those bikes again, right I'll.
- 34:21Get a triumph. Yeah, but that's a 2.
- 34:23Cylinder. That's a three.
- 34:25Three. That's a three.
- 34:26Well, it depends on what you. It depends.
- 34:28It depends. No like I'm thinking like a
- 34:30Thruxton or. Oh, like a caveat.
- 34:33Yeah, is. That what you want?
- 34:35Yeah. Yeah, dude, Street Glide would
- 34:38be. I don't like the forward set.
- 34:40Oh, like sitting like this, Yeah, that's why.
- 34:43That's what. That's why on my bike I did some
- 34:45weird shit where like I flipped them around.
- 34:46Now I'm like, it's fucking cool as hell.
- 34:49I mean you can put mids on a bagger.
- 34:53Yeah, but then you don't you Lean Lee.
- 34:57What's it called? You lose leaning capability it.
- 35:00Depends on what you put on the bike.
- 35:01They have so many things now. I don't even there's ones that
- 35:03are high in the air but. People are concerned about that?
- 35:06Dude I I strapped up these controls on my bike and
- 35:08literally was like I guess I'm going to have to turn now.
- 35:11No, but I mean your bike's going to just sit higher anyway.
- 35:13Like but a bagger usually sits pretty low and the floorboards
- 35:17are big so they they usually scrape the ground.
- 35:20But dude. That'd be sick.
- 35:21There's the race of what do they call it, Malcolm, what do they
- 35:24call it? Bagger thing.
- 35:25Yeah. King of baggers, king of baggers
- 35:29or whatever, where they race these things, Is that NJMP?
- 35:32I think next weekend or something.
- 35:33That's right next to my brothers house.
- 35:35We should go. Yeah Fuck.
- 35:36Wait, I'm going to be drifting next weekend.
- 35:38Shit. I think I got a wedding too.
- 35:40But who's wedding Brendan? Shit, Congratulations.
- 35:44Yeah, Brendan's. Finally, there's a cigarette.
- 35:47Yeah, there's a cigarette. There's one more in there.
- 35:49I'm probably going to smoke it. I should Brendan's cigarettes,
- 35:51yeah. They've been there since the
- 35:52open house and I've just had been having one when I don't
- 35:54feel like smoking mine. Congratulations.
- 35:59Holy shit. Yeah, he's grown up.
- 36:01Yeah, Dude Smitty called me today.
- 36:03He told me he's also getting married.
- 36:05I was like what the fuck? Schmidty.
- 36:08I miss Schmidty, dude. I answered him.
- 36:09I answered the phone call and I was like.
- 36:11Do you know him, Chris? Yeah, dude.
- 36:13We used to party in the at the fucking Ramsey house all the
- 36:16time dude. Dude, me and Carl will be
- 36:18hanging out in the in his driveway working on his car, his
- 36:21240, and then Smitty would just appear out of the bushes out of
- 36:24nowhere. He's going to fuck.
- 36:26He's just he's. Just chilling.
- 36:28He's just chilling. He just hangs out.
- 36:30He lived really close to you. Yeah, and Smitty was like Smitty
- 36:34was a is the friend that would just wants to be around.
- 36:37Yep. He he knows he can't necessarily
- 36:39help. I probably would prefer if he
- 36:42didn't. Hell.
- 36:44But like, just his presence is like, all right.
- 36:46Like, I'm done with this. Yeah.
- 36:48He's good vibes. Yeah, congratulations to me.
- 36:51I guess he's getting married. And I was like you like.
- 36:55That's crazy. Poor lady.
- 36:58You. No, I was.
- 37:00I was cracking up because I think I when I said that his dad
- 37:02just started dying. I liked having him on the
- 37:04podcast because it was like a normie.
- 37:06On the podcast, I mean, we haven't really talked about
- 37:07drifting a lot on this one just now.
- 37:09Yeah, I mean, we what? Are we going to talk about Kurt?
- 37:14No. No all.
- 37:16Right, too soon. Yeah, I mean, like, I don't
- 37:19really give a shit really. If you want to really get into
- 37:21it just because like, what the fuck is that going to affect me?
- 37:23I mean, the only thing we can get into is conspiracies, so.
- 37:26Yeah, I could maybe get about that, but like, really,
- 37:28everybody bitching and moaning on the Internet, Yeah, kind of
- 37:31fuck off. Yeah.
- 37:32I was like. I'm.
- 37:34Like right away, Like within within the first hour.
- 37:36And I was like, dude, it's been like, my Jesus.
- 37:39So this like news being out and I'm like every fucking body is
- 37:44just arguing. Everything, everything that
- 37:45happens needs to be, doesn't fucking.
- 37:47There needs to be two sides. Is it unfortunate?
- 37:50Very no one, No one deserves. I didn't like that guy, but I
- 37:53would never say the shit I'm reading.
- 37:55Yeah, no one deserves to lose a life that's just disrespecting
- 37:58the life of another human that's wrong his whole.
- 38:01Family was in front of him. Why the fuck are is is Joe Schmo
- 38:06and Anna Anna over here arguing? Because people do people think
- 38:11they have a voice or something like they matter?
- 38:13Like no one cares about your opinion.
- 38:14I mean, this is America. They do have a voice like we
- 38:16have a voice. Do we?
- 38:18Do we? For what I just said, in some
- 38:19other countries we might just get in trouble for real.
- 38:21Yeah, but no one cares though. Like nothing's going to change.
- 38:25I feel like the world is. Joe Schmog thinks that I don't.
- 38:29Know I think we're all pretty desensitized and I think what I
- 38:31like about my friend group is like yeah we're talking about
- 38:35this but in 5 minutes we're not and guess what you're still my
- 38:38friend you're still my friend you're still my friend and
- 38:41you're still my. Friend, what about the skeleton?
- 38:42No, I fucking always hated her, but you know what I mean?
- 38:48Like people left group chats. They're fucking arguing about
- 38:51bullshit. It happened when Trump got
- 38:52elected too. It always happens.
- 38:54This stuff is people literally like lose family members if I
- 38:58didn't have. Differentiating views with my
- 39:00friends, like some of the conversations I've had with
- 39:02them, would never happen. Yeah dude, Chris had to convince
- 39:05me to get a 240 and get into drifting.
- 39:07I didn't like it. You didn't like drifting?
- 39:10I had a front wheel drive car. I only wanted to do grip shit.
- 39:12Yeah, but come on. See differentiating views you
- 39:17saw. Drifting and you were like, I
- 39:20should probably. I just didn't think it was
- 39:21feasible. Just that makes sense.
- 39:24Well, like then Chris is like. I mean, ah, shit at our at our
- 39:27age, yeah, dude back. Then I feel like.
- 39:30You were. You were in.
- 39:31You were fresh in college. Yeah, but there's kids in that
- 39:35time where they just, they just like motor through that.
- 39:39And I'm like, damn, we struggled.
- 39:42And I feel like they grew up so fast.
- 39:44And I'm like damn, by the time I was like 23 is when I started
- 39:47drifting. They have a lot of things at
- 39:49their hands now. Like there's so much information
- 39:52and you can get us so much faster than it used to be.
- 39:54It used to be like, oh, I wonder how I do this because I thought
- 39:58we had a lot of information at our hands, and now it's like,
- 40:01now it's even crazier. I don't even really remember the
- 40:04last time I like looked up something.
- 40:06I've been kind of raw dogging my whole car shit lately.
- 40:09Like if I want to do something, I'll just start doing it.
- 40:11And then if I fuck up then I'm like, gosh.
- 40:13But like, Instagram has changed so much.
- 40:15Like you just find everything so fast and everyone's just so
- 40:18connected. Like when you needed to look
- 40:20something up, you would have to go to Zilvia or try to find it
- 40:22on Google. Now I feel like everyone just
- 40:25knows so much in general. Like, Oh yeah, I saw that on
- 40:28that on that reel the other day or so.
- 40:30And so did it. And then you just go there and
- 40:32you find it like. Do you think, do you think
- 40:35stories changed everything? You.
- 40:40You remember you remember. Well, first it was Snapchat I
- 40:43think, but like just the the the idea I guess and concept of the
- 40:48story because I thought it was dumb as fuck when I first I was
- 40:52like, why do people? Want to see what I'm doing?
- 40:53That was Snapchat, right? That was the whole point of it.
- 40:55Yeah, yeah, and sending nudes or whatever and balls.
- 40:58Yeah, Snapchat definitely was the first story thing.
- 41:00Yeah, I remember. Like, I didn't think that
- 41:03concept was going to take off. I.
- 41:05Probably didn't think so either. Like Yik Yak.
- 41:08It's like a. It's like posting without the
- 41:11full commitment, like it's only up for 24 hours.
- 41:15Yeah, because people view posting on Instagram like, you
- 41:18know, it's got to be good. It's got to be good enough for.
- 41:20The it's like I want to post it but I don't want to permit it.
- 41:23Not me, I don't give a fuck anymore, I just don't post
- 41:26anything anymore. Edgy.
- 41:28Except for that fucking. Girls like that shit.
- 41:30You're probably a hit on the on the apps.
- 41:32No. Well, I mean, I don't have apps,
- 41:34but they don't hit me up on Instagram, I can tell you that.
- 41:39It's like Oh my God the last time he posted it was 2023.
- 41:42But now you no but that used maybe that used to be cool, but
- 41:44not anymore because you can delete everything and hide it,
- 41:46right? Yeah, archive.
- 41:48Yeah, so like you could, you could have like a million
- 41:50followers or whatever and then you have like 3 posts and you're
- 41:53like, damn, how did he do? It you could always tell like
- 41:55somebody went through a breakup, you go through their shit's like
- 41:57fucking shrunk. Yeah, or when someone bought
- 42:00followers and there's like 100 people liking the photos and
- 42:03they got like 300,000 followers and you're like, what?
- 42:08Yeah, that's just weird too you. Remember the square Instagram?
- 42:10Dude I I fucked with the square Instagram.
- 42:13Yeah, yeah, I remember. The square photo and you can
- 42:16only do like such a limited amount of shit.
- 42:19I remember if you wanted portrait or landscape you had to
- 42:22screenshot. Yes, yes, that was a trick.
- 42:25Yeah, yeah, You like, you like, hold the iPhone up, screenshot
- 42:28it, crop it. So then it would be.
- 42:30Dude, my camera is just in that story mode now.
- 42:34That's how I set my camera up. You can.
- 42:36Like change. It like I just left.
- 42:39I made it the default 16 by 9. Or so, yeah.
- 42:42Because it was. It was just so perfect for
- 42:44Instagram Stories. You can make it default.
- 42:47Yeah, yeah. Oh.
- 42:48Shit. And then if you want to change
- 42:50it, you can change it kind of fast, yeah.
- 42:52You swipe up, click, boom boom. Yeah, but I just remember, like,
- 42:56I would take photos and then I'd go to Instagram or something and
- 42:58it would look retarded because it wasn't.
- 42:59So it's like weird, it has to zoom.
- 43:01In Yeah, I think that was why I. Did it, but.
- 43:04Yeah, yeah. I mean, you're right.
- 43:06Stories, fucking the stories changed everything, probably.
- 43:08Propelled the Internet and like the spread of just like everyday
- 43:15shit. Well, that also effects small
- 43:18businesses like this too, because the Internet, most
- 43:21people, they think they can do it on their own.
- 43:25What? What do you mean?
- 43:26Service. Oh, like and just start working
- 43:29on there's. So much information on the
- 43:30Internet now, it's like you could basically do it on your
- 43:32own now with the with the right steps.
- 43:36But do you? Like how did you learn?
- 43:38You. If I wasn't in a picture.
- 43:41Yeah, I mean, I guess I'd YouTube.
- 43:43I mean, yeah, you learn shit now.
- 43:44But if it wasn't on YouTube, I would be so scared to have time
- 43:47to. It took so long for that like
- 43:50curve of like, oh, OK, well, I've done I've done like M and
- 43:55OP before. So I should be able to do XY and
- 43:58Z Fuck it. Like it's they're they're all
- 44:01letters. It's just like.
- 44:03It's just crazy to think back like on what the Internet was
- 44:07back then and then what it is now is so much different.
- 44:10Like, well, yeah, that shit used to go.
- 44:12Well, not even then. Like I'm talking after that,
- 44:14like, like when I was getting in the cars, let's say like 2008 to
- 44:182012, I felt like we had a lot of fucking information.
- 44:23You had words in a, in a, in a forum, yeah.
- 44:28And to be honest, it was kind of better because it was like all
- 44:30laid out. It wasn't like, well I heard
- 44:33this guy said this and that guy said this on his Instagram post
- 44:37and. It's nice when you go in the
- 44:38forum and they give you a step by step play or a play by play.
- 44:42Yeah, with photos. And you can just go to the last
- 44:44page and make sure you fixed it before.
- 44:45You, yeah. Oh my God.
- 44:47If it worked. Yeah.
- 44:49So I don't know. That's just different.
- 44:50I like the forum post where it's like, yeah, I usually put like
- 44:53my symptoms of what I'm feeling or the OR sorry the car, but
- 44:58like the symptom, right? It's like crank nose start, but
- 45:02battery voltage, blank plank, whatever windows lights does
- 45:07this and then it just pops up. Then you kind of like follow
- 45:10that person's experience a little bit.
- 45:14It's like I fucking bang my head against the wall and divorce my
- 45:18wife because of this shit. And like, it was just a little
- 45:22wire in the harness back here, and then you go to your car and
- 45:26you're like, holy shit, I was rubbing through the harness
- 45:29right here. What are the what's the
- 45:32percentage of Sylvia threads you read where something was
- 45:34actually fixed versus you go to the last page and the guy just
- 45:41said. Alternator wire.
- 45:42But I'm saying the percentage of like, like you think you you
- 45:46like, is it 5050? Is it more?
- 45:48Is it more people had their solutions figured out in the
- 45:52thread? Or is it more people didn't
- 45:53solve it? Maybe like 6040?
- 45:57Not. Solved.
- 45:58Yeah. I would say 80 fucking 20 from
- 46:02what I've. Changed to 7030.
- 46:04Yeah, it's pretty bad. I feel like because you go
- 46:05through so many, so many, and then like one guy will be like,
- 46:09hey, it worked. Thanks.
- 46:11You know, I hate when I'm reading a forum based off like a
- 46:16particular issue and then like I'm reading in the beginning,
- 46:19I'm like, oh, this is like very accurate to what's happening.
- 46:23And then I'm like, OK, let me go to the end.
- 46:25And it's like the the last thumbnail or thumbnail or thread
- 46:29or whatever. Yeah, yeah, post, yeah, or post
- 46:31is any updates. And it was like 2013.
- 46:35Yeah, three years later. But sometimes you got to think,
- 46:38oh, maybe he fixed it and he never came back because why
- 46:40would you come back? Yeah, so you got to read the
- 46:42last thing they said and be like, OK, it might have worked.
- 46:45They sold the car. Gone.
- 46:46Or that. I use Facebook in that way now,
- 46:53like I asked the question when I asked the questions in the
- 46:55Facebook group. It is my last option.
- 47:00Yeah, 'cause I never like to trust some random dude or girl
- 47:04just commenting on my shit and go and I'm going to go to my car
- 47:07and I'm gonna. Try honestly Facebook groups is
- 47:09what. So good is what?
- 47:10Is the forums. Now that's that's what I use to
- 47:13fix the chop. I literally was posting on the
- 47:15XS650 chopper group sick, by the way, you're not invited.
- 47:20Then I would. I was like, I'm doing all of
- 47:21this, this, this, this, this and this.
- 47:23I've done this, this, this, this and this.
- 47:25Here's what I might try. Blank, blank, blank, blank,
- 47:27blank. And then people respond like
- 47:30they they gave me. That's that's a forum.
- 47:33Things to try. It was I was like the one dude
- 47:36was like take apart the points completely put it back together.
- 47:38I was like, like what? Now?
- 47:43I'm not doing that like so then. But now you got AI too.
- 47:46Yet, dude. I I don't trust AI for this
- 47:49stuff, do you guys? Use it.
- 47:50What do you use it? For I've.
- 47:51Tried to use it for things. It helps sometimes.
- 47:54Yeah. Yeah, for what?
- 47:55It depends. I mean, easy questions that you
- 47:58need answers for fast. Yeah, it's gonna.
- 48:00It's gonna work. Why don't you just sit there and
- 48:02try to think about it on your own?
- 48:03I don't. Well, you don't know if you if
- 48:05you have to read a bunch of shit to figure it out.
- 48:07It's gonna take time. So if I just type it in the
- 48:10question and AI, it's simple enough that AI can just go
- 48:14through stuff and give you an answer, good.
- 48:17But if it's like, I don't know, just a little too in depth, AI
- 48:22is not going to do shit for you. Like it's not going to work.
- 48:24Well it all comes down to your prompt too.
- 48:27The more information you give, the easier for is the AI to
- 48:30figure it out. Yeah.
- 48:34I'm pretty good at the prompts. I think it's helped me with like
- 48:36some accounting questions I had before.
- 48:38Like what the how to accounting? Just stuff with QuickBooks, I
- 48:42think it's, I think it's helped me.
- 48:45But then engine stuff? No, not how.
- 48:47To run automotive business. That was 1.
- 48:51The answer was pretty good, no? I'd be asking you like stock
- 48:54market questions that might. Work.
- 48:57Just like, what are some things to like a general analysis
- 49:01question so that I could look into it on my own and come up
- 49:04with my own confluences and shit.
- 49:06But like, that is trippy because you got to think of where that
- 49:10information is coming. From I don't know if that would
- 49:12work with that it's. Pulling from literally more
- 49:14places that you could Google on your own.
- 49:16Yeah. So like, you just get maybe a
- 49:18generalization boom, done. Like I don't want to rely on it.
- 49:24Yeah, I agree, but. Like what do you ever ask at Sr.
- 49:29questions or work questions? Frankie has and.
- 49:33They're wrong. They were wrong.
- 49:35Ah, see. Yeah, that's why I don't really
- 49:36trust it. See, there we go.
- 49:39But what did you ask exactly? It was like bearing clearances.
- 49:42I asked it correctly. Trust me, I checked multiple
- 49:44times. What are the bearing clearances
- 49:47for Sr. There are times where it does
- 49:49give you a very generic answer. It flipped the solution
- 49:54backwards like they were supposed to tell me this and it
- 49:58it was basically reversed and I I talked to it like it's a
- 50:02person. That's wrong.
- 50:04Well, not really you probably. See, you're kind of supposed to.
- 50:07So I'm like, you reversed it. Like I told it what it did and
- 50:11it said, Oh yeah, you're right, I did this is the right answer.
- 50:14And I'm like, OK, well, that's. Was it right?
- 50:17Was the second one right? I told the answer so it's like I
- 50:21but yeah, it was like, Oh yeah, you are right.
- 50:23And I was like, OK, but like, I can't trust you now because.
- 50:26Well, AI is probably always learning too.
- 50:28Exactly. That's why I mean, I don't know
- 50:32it just it was weird. Like it's, it's information that
- 50:37you can get because I got it, you know, I, I looked it up and
- 50:41I found it. I looked it up, I found it out
- 50:43and I figured it out. So it can figure it out, but it
- 50:47didn't do it right. Somebody has AI, but that thing
- 50:50that's over there in my work bench, you could.
- 50:52You you think when when's it coming?
- 50:55Like when they take over and shit.
- 50:57Well, first of all, they already took over because no one can
- 50:59live without this, so we're already cyborgs.
- 51:02On the chop. But what you were saying before,
- 51:04you were like, I don't want to rely on AI.
- 51:06It's like, well, people said that about this.
- 51:09That bike doomsday proof. All of your bikes dead.
- 51:14Yes. Yes.
- 51:16Except the Honda. The Magna, Yeah.
- 51:18No, no, no, I got my Honda in the back.
- 51:21That shit would live. Yeah, that one would live too.
- 51:23Dude, when was the last time you fucked with that A?
- 51:26While. Ago.
- 51:26Yeah, that thing is seized up. No, it's fine.
- 51:31Dude, that thing, I have not seen you fuck with that once in
- 51:34my entirety of knowing you. I got a Harley and that was it.
- 51:37I was like, oh, I can just get on this and ride it.
- 51:39Yeah, now I think about it, you've never.
- 51:40Never. And you have.
- 51:42As long as I've been here. Oh, I did longer because the
- 51:44last time I touched it was 2019. Yeah, yeah.
- 51:48No, you play air in it one time. The exhaust, the muffler fell
- 51:54off and then I had to, I had to readjust the carb or something
- 51:57and I was like, I'd rather just put it on this thing and never
- 51:59touch it again. Dude I want muffler so bad on my
- 52:03shit. I remember I was riding and I
- 52:04looked behind me and a muffler's hanging off by the heat wrap and
- 52:07it's just dragging behind the bike.
- 52:08I'm like, oh, let me pick that up.
- 52:11That shit looks uncomfortable as it's.
- 52:13Very uncomfortable. That's the other reason why it's
- 52:16sitting right there, because it's like it's fun for like 20
- 52:20minutes. Yeah, no.
- 52:22That's it though. No, I'm.
- 52:23Good. Yeah.
- 52:24And I and I would do the research.
- 52:26I'm like, all right, So what do people do?
- 52:29Unless you do rear sets, it's never going to be comfortable.
- 52:33It's just never going to work like or the seat because, you
- 52:36know, the stock seat is really, really tall.
- 52:38Yeah. So that's the problem.
- 52:39Once you put like a cool seat on it, you just drop down so much
- 52:42that now the pegs are so high. So you would have to drop the
- 52:44pegs. Yeah, it looks cool.
- 52:46Yeah, your. Fucking knees are in your
- 52:48armpits. Yeah, dude.
- 52:49I remember I did A7 legs run with that bike.
- 52:51We were out for like an hour. I was like fuck this shit.
- 52:53Dude, I'm telling you, when we did that Rough Riders ride back
- 52:56in the day when I went, it was so bad.
- 52:59I had ACBR and we rode for four hours.
- 53:02Yeah. Was your bike uncomfortable but
- 53:06you had a rear sets? On well, you're tall, I feel
- 53:08like it's better for. Taller.
- 53:09The thing is my bike, so I had AO5 Honda CBR 600 Fri.
- 53:20Yeah, just like yours. You're old.
- 53:20But the Fri isn't like really like.
- 53:23No. So if you have the original
- 53:25handles, yes it's low, but mine had the Grom bar so you're
- 53:30sitting a little bit more upright.
- 53:32Oh, you were stunting shit. Yeah.
- 53:35We were not. I wish you had the low ones, but
- 53:39I only rode it once so I can't say anything.
- 53:40I just wanted to be like. Dude I suck at wheelies.
- 53:44Dude I've done like a wheelie 2 times in my life.
- 53:46Scariest. Yeah, fuck that.
- 53:48I'm I'm good on that. You're popping with me.
- 53:50I ripped it down that block. That was it.
- 53:52No, I think the last time you rode to the city was all of us.
- 53:55You remember we were on the Henry Hudson.
- 53:57Yeah, Josh comes flying past us on the The Rebel 500.
- 54:03What? Why are we doing it?
- 54:05The Rebel has nothing to prove at all.
- 54:09Yo, if you guys go fast, I will be.
- 54:11I'm not going fast. We.
- 54:12Won't go fast. Bullshit.
- 54:14It's. Not going to be like the last
- 54:15time and. And and like, the way that I got
- 54:18here was actually way faster than IS.
- 54:20You know why? Because this is me Lane's
- 54:22footing. It's like this slow dude.
- 54:26Right through If you saw that ride that night last year, Oh my
- 54:29God dude, that shit was not OK. Go tell my mom.
- 54:32But that bike was scary at at 7000 RPM.
- 54:36Anything above that is terrifying, Yeah.
- 54:39Dude, wait, what's the red line? I think it was like 12 or 13.
- 54:43Dude, those were fast bikes. It was scary because when that
- 54:46time when Josh Zoom passed, I was like, OK, I guess we're all
- 54:48catching up now. I thought I, I double downshift
- 54:52that I didn't know, I didn't realize.
- 54:54So I had downshifted the third and we're already cruising at
- 54:5665. So the RPM was at like 6000 or
- 55:006500. And then I yanked it and then
- 55:03the front came up and I'm like, oh, I thought I was going to
- 55:06die. Dude, Hadler had a.
- 55:10Did you hit the limiter on that? I have.
- 55:11They hit 186. I've done it on all my bikes.
- 55:14I hit the limiter in second gear.
- 55:16No, no, the limiter, the top. Wait, what?
- 55:19You went 190 miles an hour. Me on all my motorcycles that I
- 55:23owned the. CBR you meaning?
- 55:25The CBR600F3 I hit, I hit like the governor on that on 287.
- 55:33What the fuck? You guys don't do this.
- 55:35I did, but mine's 120, so yeah. It was 100 like 80 or some shit
- 55:39or 160. Yeah, over 150 is a different
- 55:42conversation. It was the craziest thing, and I
- 55:45think about it all the time. I'm like, how the fuck did I not
- 55:48die? Yeah, like.
- 55:50I think the fastest I've ever gone on the bike was 150 but.
- 55:54Maybe it's not 180, but it's like the bike hits the like it
- 55:58does this thing where like it would be like and then it like
- 56:03catches back and you're like holy shit, the Fri goes 160
- 56:09once. Yeah, I I remember getting it
- 56:11past 140. I remember watching it.
- 56:13It's. Fucking nuts.
- 56:14And it's not scary like flying up there, you can get the Speedo
- 56:17up as high as you want the moment you got to like dude,
- 56:21it's like fucking like how hard do I hit the brakes right now?
- 56:24Like it literally just poo. Also that that rear brake was
- 56:27sketchy. Yeah.
- 56:28Oh God, why? It was a sticky rear brake.
- 56:31You tap it and it locks up. No, you have to press it hard,
- 56:34but if you press it too hard, it'll lock.
- 56:36Yeah, I like mine all the time just for fun.
- 56:40I don't do that just. To see what it does OK.
- 56:42Yeah. Live life.
- 56:43I like to like, I'm like, OK, that's what's going to happen.
- 56:45Cool. You know what?
- 56:46You know what bike does? Never lock the front brake up.
- 56:49I'm not looking forward to that. The fastest bike that does hit
- 56:52180 was Hadler's R1. That shit was so fast.
- 56:56Oh yeah, you hit 80 mph in first gear?
- 56:59It was so crazy and like and that bike when you pulled it in
- 57:02second, it would literally like fly up.
- 57:04It was. I don't.
- 57:04Understand why people buy these motorcycles for everyday driving
- 57:07like I don't well. Maybe not every day, but on 287
- 57:09that thing was a. Riot 1000 CC yeah it doesn't
- 57:13make sense, but 600's OK. But it's just, I don't know, to
- 57:15me it's like race mode 24/7, like.
- 57:19I used to think that's how you look cool.
- 57:20Like I was like, damn, that's the macho guy right there.
- 57:24I just feel like you're in race mode.
- 57:25Like like I said, like it's just like if you're getting on that
- 57:28bike, I don't know. I feel like if I had one of
- 57:30those bikes, I would be fucking committing felonies.
- 57:32Like every time I got all the time.
- 57:34There's no way around all the time, right?
- 57:35Those those two times that I mentioned that we're going fast,
- 57:39I had to but. He changed his bars so that
- 57:41probably made it feel a little bit less.
- 57:44Racy. Yeah.
- 57:45I. Was I definitely, I definitely
- 57:48could not contain myself on that bike.
- 57:50So. Yeah, it's dude, but those I,
- 57:52I'm only speeding those two times I'm running.
- 57:56The one was I got off the Tappan Zee, so there was a cop right
- 57:59there and the bike's not registered and I don't have a
- 58:01license. And fucking that's when I went,
- 58:04Yeah. And that shit was cool.
- 58:06Like I felt so crazy. You're probably scared as fuck
- 58:09then. Scared as shit.
- 58:10The other time it was late at night from like McDonald's, like
- 58:13on 17 across some stop and shop and shit.
- 58:15Like I think it's like a hocus or some shit.
- 58:17That's a real place. For those of you who are not
- 58:20from New Jersey. Right from there all the way to
- 58:23Ramsey there was no cars. Me, Hadler and our other friend
- 58:27Miles. Those cops anyway, honestly
- 58:29like. Me, Hadler and Miles, we passed
- 58:30the cop that was chilling right at that McDonald's.
- 58:32And we were just like, all three of us just looked at each other
- 58:35like, why? Yeah.
- 58:39And they got and the the road's probably empty.
- 58:41It was so dead. We were coming back from the
- 58:42city. Yeah, we were riding with Jeff.
- 58:46That boy still rides. Yeah, dude, crazy motherfucker
- 58:51Jeff, it's. AMT 06 now.
- 58:54Those are nice. I don't.
- 58:55Even know what that is? It's a Yamaha naked naked bike.
- 58:59Oh I hate. It naked bike is my least
- 59:01favorite bike. You literally have the your bike
- 59:04is naked like the CB. No, that's like a cafe racer to
- 59:08me. It is a naked bike is like a
- 59:11it's correct me if I'm wrong, it's like a sport bike.
- 59:14But no fairings. No fairings in like taller bars
- 59:16maybe to be more comfortable. Basically, yeah.
- 59:19No, there's still a regular street bike bars.
- 59:22OK, I think Miyagi had one. Is it just the fairings then?
- 59:25It's just no fairings. OK.
- 59:27Dude Miles had that naked bike. It was like a S1000, not the
- 59:30S1000RR. It was like just a S1000R and
- 59:35that thing was sweet. It had like a wheelie.
- 59:36Control. Wait is that?
- 59:37Which one is that? BMW.
- 59:39Yeah, I love that bike. Wheelie control like you could
- 59:41like pin it and it would like, wait, stop right here.
- 59:44You're gonna come right back. Down.
- 59:45Maybe it's not the same one look as it is, no.
- 59:46Can you look that? Up this is the one thing.
- 59:48You 1000. R, not the R that's.
- 59:50The one with the circle headlight and then the regular
- 59:52pointy headlight. Yeah, and it was like a naked
- 59:54fairing. Yeah, that's.
- 59:56It was like a little Street Fighter looking fairing.
- 59:59Yeah. No, just the one R The one R is
- 1:00:01the one that Frankie might like. This S 10.
- 1:00:04No, no, no, I don't like that. The next one, though, no.
- 1:00:08Oh, you're talking about the Cafe Eraser?
- 1:00:10Style. Well, yeah, I like that one too.
- 1:00:11But like that one looks good like that this.
- 1:00:14Is. A nice one.
- 1:00:15No, not gonna. Hit the yellow fever joint, you
- 1:00:18put. S1000.
- 1:00:20That's the colour of the eye, yes.
- 1:00:23There's one BMW that looks really.
- 1:00:25Good. This red one right here by the
- 1:00:27left side? No.
- 1:00:29Yeah, that's the I was talking about.
- 1:00:31Oh no, I don't. Know nothing's better than the
- 1:00:33the 90s like Honda like late 90s CBAR right that the one
- 1:00:39headlight that's like. Far forward.
- 1:00:41Than the other one or something. I love those 90s.
- 1:00:44What is that bikes with the long?
- 1:00:46The fire blade. Let's find out.
- 1:00:50It's called the fire blade. Look it up.
- 1:00:52Oh, this is. Yeah, it's like that, that thing
- 1:00:54is. That's his NSR.
- 1:00:55Oh no, that's RC3. So the NSR, Yep, there we go,
- 1:01:00do. You have one of these.
- 1:01:01I wanted a no, my first bike was like a F ZR600.
- 1:01:05Oh, it was a pretty good bike Delta box frame.
- 1:01:08It was pretty advanced where it's time, but like not really a
- 1:01:10great bike. Yeah, but I would own a fire
- 1:01:13blade. Oh yeah, single sided swing
- 1:01:15armors. Dope.
- 1:01:16But if you type in a fire blade, like Honda, fire blade Honda,
- 1:01:21yeah, like, ah, shit, these are all like, I guess there's a new
- 1:01:25fire blade. I thought that was like the
- 1:01:26original, original. Yeah.
- 1:01:30There we go. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:32Like one of those red ones. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:34That one, this bike, there was a guy in the UK like on YouTube, I
- 1:01:38forget, I think his YouTube Anna was like Blue Rider, Blue Ridge
- 1:01:42Rider or something like that. There were videos of him like
- 1:01:44just picking it up, shifting it like in a second and just
- 1:01:47picking it up and then just shifting up through all the
- 1:01:49gears in the wheelie. And I'm like, dude, I need a
- 1:01:52fire blade. So I totalled the one CBR and I
- 1:01:56was going to buy a fire blade that exact colour.
- 1:01:59If not, it was a silver one, like a grey one.
- 1:02:02Didn't Miyagi have one of these? Recently, yes, he did.
- 1:02:05He told me he had something. Else he told me he had a fire
- 1:02:07blade. Mal, do you remember it?
- 1:02:10Fuck was it. This is it was a grey one.
- 1:02:13It didn't look this old. Yes it did.
- 1:02:15It looked like the red one right there but I swear to you it had
- 1:02:18like that U headlight. No, sorry.
- 1:02:21Can you look up the BMW R9T? What the hell is that this?
- 1:02:26Is the one that Frankie's talking about.
- 1:02:30It's. Chris, it's so hard to find it
- 1:02:31with. You have to.
- 1:02:32No, right here. That's right here.
- 1:02:34Yes, that's it. That shit looks.
- 1:02:37Sick. You like that?
- 1:02:38Shit, that's like a cafe racer. That's a proper cafe racer,
- 1:02:40yeah. It looks like a wet cat.
- 1:02:42But this is like new poof, you know?
- 1:02:44So it's actually going to run. So it's kind of sick.
- 1:02:47She come with the bike. Like this is what Louis should
- 1:02:49hey know hey know this is what Louis should buy right there,
- 1:02:53but you need to get the fairing with it you.
- 1:02:55Can that card is not on that card?
- 1:02:56They sell that fairing on Timo. OK.
- 1:03:00And first of all, the real, the real fairing like that is the
- 1:03:02Ducati 1. Yeah, probably.
- 1:03:05I still want a Ducati. Pat had a Ducati, my old
- 1:03:07roommate. And like, I got to write it a
- 1:03:08couple times. There was just something about
- 1:03:10saying like, yeah, I just wrote here.
- 1:03:15I'm on Ducati I feel like. That's the only perk of having a
- 1:03:18It's the only. Thing you have to do a valve job
- 1:03:20every 8000 miles. Yeah, it's like going on a
- 1:03:23Ferrari. Just say you have a Ferrari.
- 1:03:27It's basically a Ferrari dry clutch.
- 1:03:28And all that shit, I don't know, cool cool shit, but that's
- 1:03:33pretty much what we got some how do.
- 1:03:36You like Hayabusas? Why not?
- 1:03:38What's wrong? With that, I don't like those
- 1:03:39things. Those things are way too long.
- 1:03:41Fishburne biker boys, that's. You.
- 1:03:43No, they're just long because they put the extended swing arm.
- 1:03:47Yeah. No, but they are long from the
- 1:03:49factory I think. Not really long, but.
- 1:03:52They are longer because they are drag bikes.
- 1:03:54Yeah, look how look at the fucking that.
- 1:03:56Shit. I think it's long as fuck you're
- 1:04:00sitting so far back too. Look at.
- 1:04:02That thing. Bro the demographic for that
- 1:04:05bike is not us Chris. I'm saying look how.
- 1:04:07Dumb the front. End what you mean heavy set?
- 1:04:10It's always like a heavier set, darker guy on that shit,
- 1:04:13Malcolm. What do you think about that one
- 1:04:15right there? And they always got patches on
- 1:04:18and I'm like, I don't want to fuck what you do.
- 1:04:20It's definitely cool, but not many people can ride that thing.
- 1:04:23It's heavy. It's heavy.
- 1:04:24It's it's like, look how far the seat is from the bars.
- 1:04:28It just looks so dumb to me. What is it?
- 1:04:30What engine is that in there? Like it's a?
- 1:04:331300 CC. They put that in Alex's Smart
- 1:04:39car. Is it the same motor?
- 1:04:41Oh, you're saying? No, they swap it in and it's so
- 1:04:44sick. 3 point 1.3 liter yeah. So it's AK car motor?
- 1:04:50Yeah, basically AK-20. $2500. It makes 175 to a 200
- 1:04:57horsepower. That's fucking crazy.
- 1:04:59Dude. Yeah, but when you're on a 1500
- 1:05:03LB. Bike.
- 1:05:04Yeah, it's what? No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:05:06No. Maybe like 8.
- 1:05:07Probably like I don't. Even say 8 What's the Yeah, it
- 1:05:10probably weighs as much as my Harley.
- 1:05:11Yeah. Oh.
- 1:05:12I was close, yeah. With 200 horsepower.
- 1:05:15Imagine my bike with 200 horsepower.
- 1:05:17I don't want that. That's insane.
- 1:05:19Yeah, I don't either, but. I'm trying to be safe.
- 1:05:21So what is the point of this thing?
- 1:05:23Is it really just top speed touring?
- 1:05:24Yeah, touring shit, No way. No bro, they make bags for it
- 1:05:28and shit like side saddle bags or whatever.
- 1:05:31It's a touring. Motorcycle.
- 1:05:34Purpose. I tour on my I saw that imagine.
- 1:05:44That shit looks fucking busy. I'm good.
- 1:05:48Someone thinks it's a bagger and then he's just like, out.
- 1:05:51The logo right like you. You like the way it looks?
- 1:05:54The logo? Oh yeah, the logo is fine, I'll
- 1:05:57give you that. There was like a like a pussy
- 1:06:00version of that bike called the Cortana.
- 1:06:03Yeah, you know who had that? Remember Damien?
- 1:06:05Oh. Yeah, he did have a.
- 1:06:07Cortana, my cousin had one and I was like, I thought it was the
- 1:06:10coolest bike. I got a little older, saw the
- 1:06:12shape of it and like yay, yeah, here we go.
- 1:06:20Oh what the fuck? It was like that.
- 1:06:22Blue. That looks like a naked bike to
- 1:06:24me, but it's not I guess. Yeah, that one.
- 1:06:27That was that. Looks way different.
- 1:06:28Yeah, except my cousins was like yellow fever.
- 1:06:32How do you feel about adventure bikes?
- 1:06:34Too tall. I mean the the point of them is
- 1:06:37cool I guess. Yeah, dude, imagine you were
- 1:06:38just able to go through the Pines just like.
- 1:06:41It's just I, I've lived through the whole, my friends all bought
- 1:06:44adventure bike phase and they just didn't do anything.
- 1:06:47And I'm like, well, that was fun.
- 1:06:48I've, I saw Dustin and Miyagi both got adventure bikes.
- 1:06:54They like someone would come here, like, yo, let's meet up.
- 1:06:56One of them would come here. I've, I've watched them drop
- 1:06:58those bikes more than I've seen them ride the bikes.
- 1:07:01Let's just put it that way. Well, both of them.
- 1:07:04Why? They're just tall as fuck and
- 1:07:05they're short. They just dump them every time
- 1:07:08they'd be turning around a parking lot and dumping on the
- 1:07:10ground. I turn around, I'm like, why
- 1:07:12y'all just drop? You just bought these brand new
- 1:07:14motorcycles and you just drop them everything.
- 1:07:15That's an adventure bike. I'm like, has it even seen the
- 1:07:18dirt yet? Miyagi had a KTM right?
- 1:07:20Yeah. And then like, I turn around and
- 1:07:23Dustin's just on the ground, like, And then we get to a diner
- 1:07:25and then Miyagi just falls over in the parking spot.
- 1:07:27I'm like this. I'm too good on these bikes.
- 1:07:29Like I'm just get something that looks cool and you can ride
- 1:07:31around. I need to be able to reach the
- 1:07:33ground on the adventure bike because like if I'm actually
- 1:07:36going through dirt and shit, like let's say if we were at the
- 1:07:38Pines, I would 100% need to be. I feel like you should have an
- 1:07:45adventure bike because you would use it.
- 1:07:46I would use it, yeah, yeah, I would probably get on it.
- 1:07:50Other people just don't use it. I would have to get like a like
- 1:07:53ADR 400 or something. The Harley one actually lowers
- 1:07:57itself, by the way, the Harley adventure bike.
- 1:08:00What? Yeah, it has a thing where it
- 1:08:02like when you come, you can have a setting where you come to stop
- 1:08:05and it'll lower like an inch or two.
- 1:08:08That's just insulting. I feel like, hey man, I'd rather
- 1:08:11just not. I'd rather just.
- 1:08:12Help you out. I'd rather just like gut out the
- 1:08:15seat as much as possible just so I could like be like a little
- 1:08:19more down like that. Yeah.
- 1:08:21Do we get any questions We. Probably got a lot of questions.
- 1:08:23Probably a shit load. Chris, Chris how do I do this?
- 1:08:28Chris That was me. I.
- 1:08:33Don't even need the questionnaire for that.
- 1:08:37What do you think they're going to ask?
- 1:08:38They're going to be like, what the hell right there?
- 1:08:44Malcolm made that, by the way, not me.
- 1:08:46OK, here's 1 you can. Blame Malcolm.
- 1:08:48Chris, do you think you're going to hit the track again or build
- 1:08:51a separate car? Separate V.
- 1:08:55Separate car. That's a lot.
- 1:08:57Barely afford the the car I have now.
- 1:08:59Yeah, I think we're going to fix that car up.
- 1:09:02Yeah, what are you hopefully next season.
- 1:09:04Kit motor. Kids in the auto preserve
- 1:09:11fucking dust. Why is the kangaroo on the crank
- 1:09:13girdle? You know, is it a kangaroo or is
- 1:09:18it AT Rex? It's a kangaroo.
- 1:09:19Is it AT Rex? What are you talking about?
- 1:09:22On some Sr. 20s, there's a kangaroo on the crank girdle
- 1:09:25because it was made in Australia.
- 1:09:27That I know that. That's why like, yeah, they put,
- 1:09:29they tend to put Kangaroos on stuff they make like we put the
- 1:09:32flag, like they put Kangaroos on shit.
- 1:09:35That's cool. I fuck with Australia bro, we
- 1:09:37should go. Yeah, but I think that's the
- 1:09:39answer. That's what I read.
- 1:09:40I mean, that's what I would have said.
- 1:09:42Yeah, if I go to Australia, the first thing I'm doing is going
- 1:09:44to bean Horsborough House and buying those wheels off of it.
- 1:09:48I think that's the Instagram that I'm thinking of.
- 1:09:50Yeah, sounds familiar. But yeah.
- 1:09:53Well, another question is when is faction coming to halfway
- 1:09:56hangs? That's, you know, Australia.
- 1:09:58Yeah, I thought so. Dude I'd get so black out drunk
- 1:10:01there holy shit. Yeah, when is the faction
- 1:10:03international trip? I mean, it could be next month,
- 1:10:06right? I'm going to Japan like next
- 1:10:08month. Yeah, yeah, it's going to be fun
- 1:10:10as shit. Do you want to come?
- 1:10:11I do want to, I do want to do a faction.
- 1:10:13Do you want to come Japan trip? I will put you on my buddy list
- 1:10:17right now if you tell me you want to go.
- 1:10:19When? October 6th.
- 1:10:22Really. Yeah, I will put you on the
- 1:10:24list. I will.
- 1:10:25Till when? You could leave whenever you
- 1:10:27fucking want. So I got a one way ticket.
- 1:10:31You get 1. Way how much do you think it
- 1:10:32costs? Probably 50 bucks or something.
- 1:10:35No to come back. 50 bucks or something?
- 1:10:38Yeah, no. Are you dead ass?
- 1:10:41Yeah. Do you have a passport, right?
- 1:10:43Yeah. You just went to German?
- 1:10:44Yeah, but if I come back alone, I'm saying like I have to buy a
- 1:10:46ticket. Let me just make sure with my
- 1:10:47dad first. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's
- 1:10:49fine like you're. On my you just pay for the seat.
- 1:10:52Yeah, you pay for the tax for the seat and it's like 50 bucks.
- 1:10:55That's crazy. It's.
- 1:10:56Pretty sick. Yeah, people are going to be
- 1:10:58asking you about that information.
- 1:10:59You'll be like, wait, there's. Lots of there's lots of people
- 1:11:02who like work for United and other airlines too.
- 1:11:04They get the same deal. My dad did that.
- 1:11:06So crazy. When did you find out you had
- 1:11:12hella swag? I have swag.
- 1:11:16Apparently. Dude with the name like K bands
- 1:11:19I feel like you can't not have swag.
- 1:11:20This was Benji. Cool.
- 1:11:22Oh, Benji suit. Yeah.
- 1:11:24Did I find out what? I don't know.
- 1:11:28So he's back in the third grade? Sounds like you.
- 1:11:30Just. Sounds like you just found out
- 1:11:31right now. Back in the third grade.
- 1:11:35What is this? Oh, what is a dish that you are
- 1:11:41currently learning but haven't perfected yet?
- 1:11:46A dish that I haven't perfected yet.
- 1:11:51Beef and broccoli. Like Chinese beef and broccoli?
- 1:11:54Give me that. I want that right now.
- 1:11:57I'll. Make it.
- 1:11:59Give me that damn beef and broccoli his.
- 1:12:02But like. But like, a beef is like good
- 1:12:04beef, yeah. Like I'll go buy a rib eye and
- 1:12:07cut that. Out Nah, make you a brisket.
- 1:12:10That's too thin. That's the you're not getting,
- 1:12:12actually. It might.
- 1:12:12It might hit. Actually, that would be.
- 1:12:15Is it that rib eye? That's the little rib eye,
- 1:12:16anyway. Brisket it, Yeah.
- 1:12:18It's thin cut rib eye. Is that what it is?
- 1:12:19You just like the thin cut jar I.
- 1:12:20Kind of like it. We should get that.
- 1:12:22That would be more. Beneficial.
- 1:12:23No, it tells. Us.
- 1:12:26I'll make it. I'll make it.
- 1:12:28What's up? And then on the other hand, what
- 1:12:32is something you think you have perfected?
- 1:12:38Probably my steak. Yeah dude 1000% if you tell
- 1:12:44Chris the way you want the steak cookie, you could easily cook it
- 1:12:46like fucking. I feel like everything you've
- 1:12:48cooked has been very good anytime I've had it.
- 1:12:50We've got a bunch of talented cooks here.
- 1:12:52Ken Fuji's going to start his own business with cooking soon.
- 1:12:54Look out for that, by the way. Well, you know it is.
- 1:12:56I'm way too critical. Same same with the cars I.
- 1:12:59Like to get critical like get get I.
- 1:13:01Think anything that I'm into, like like hobbies or anything
- 1:13:05that I'd like to do. I'm just very hard on myself,
- 1:13:09like even like when I got into knife sharpening when I did
- 1:13:11Malcolm's I was like babe how long was I doing Malcolm's
- 1:13:16Dimes? For like 3 hours because it
- 1:13:18wasn't to my liking. I thought you had to cut I.
- 1:13:21Saw a video of that I was. Going to say you came back and
- 1:13:23took it back. I gotta take it back.
- 1:13:24I'll bring it back tomorrow. Oh, I would have.
- 1:13:27Malcolm, what do you think? Was it good enough?
- 1:13:28Very. Sharp.
- 1:13:32Hello. It was very sharp.
- 1:13:34Can you? Cut paper with it.
- 1:13:37You could have, but I've used it so much now it's kind of.
- 1:13:41I know, I know. You were in there going.
- 1:13:43That was the yeah, I knew you did.
- 1:13:44He got a sharpener from the Snap On truck, right?
- 1:13:47I did, yeah. Yeah, and you?
- 1:13:48Work sharp. Why'd you buy that one just
- 1:13:50because? Because I could use it on my
- 1:13:53kitchen knives. I saw it on Helen's story or
- 1:13:58something. Chris is just sitting there at
- 1:14:01at his desk going like this. Or mad.
- 1:14:03Well, The thing is that I don't have.
- 1:14:04That's the the limiting factor is a leather Strop.
- 1:14:08That's what gets rid of the fine burrs in the blade.
- 1:14:12A leather Strop. Leather shops, are they just a
- 1:14:15piece of leather that you run the blade on to get rid of the
- 1:14:18fine? Like burrs like this?
- 1:14:21No. Not like that.
- 1:14:23How do you How do you get one of these things?
- 1:14:24How much? Are they Did you get on Amazon?
- 1:14:26Oh yeah, 1. I should.
- 1:14:30Yeah, OK. Somebody get Chris a leather
- 1:14:32Strop. Yeah, it sounds kind of sexual.
- 1:14:34Leather Strop. You think of leather strap?
- 1:14:36Yeah, leather strap on. Oh, OK, I.
- 1:14:38Wasn't going to strap on, but all right.
- 1:14:40Yeah. I mean, I guess.
- 1:14:43I guess. All right.
- 1:14:44Next question to you. Oh, Jesus Christ.
- 1:14:47To you, what is the greatest song ever written?
- 1:14:50You might actually have an answer for this.
- 1:14:51I don't know. Question lipe fiasco.
- 1:14:54Oh yeah, it's a good song. I can listen to it whenever.
- 1:14:57You know what? Lupe Song was such a banger with
- 1:14:59Show Goes on. That was a Ripper.
- 1:15:01When I was at Bob's that came on and I was like, what the fuck?
- 1:15:05And Haley was was also like, what the fuck is a good song?
- 1:15:09You noticed kick push was also during like a very pivotal time,
- 1:15:12like teenage years. Yeah, it was a pretty yeah.
- 1:15:15You know what? I was like Daryl fucked with
- 1:15:16that song, too. It's good.
- 1:15:17I feel like a lot of people who were in the BMX or skateboard
- 1:15:19scene fucked with that song that like, yeah.
- 1:15:23That is a good song and I did see it on the search bar when I
- 1:15:26went over there the other day, so it's definitely a correct
- 1:15:30answer. Gloria Reese's cups, Frankie
- 1:15:33approved. No, I don't like peanut butter.
- 1:15:35Oh my God. Oh shit, we got a fucking
- 1:15:38surprise guest. Yeah, we're literally doing
- 1:15:41podcasts. Now look how shy.
- 1:15:42Look how shy, dude. Oh, now he's shy.
- 1:15:45He's shy. Is there a camera that points
- 1:15:48that way? Oh shit, he's so lucky.
- 1:15:51How did you get in here? The ceiling.
- 1:15:55He didn't see him. He.
- 1:15:56Didn't Oh it is down the. Loading dock.
- 1:15:58The. Security in his bitch is not
- 1:16:00good. Yeah, I thought we'd close that
- 1:16:01door. Do.
- 1:16:02It Frankie, just walk right in here.
- 1:16:04You must. Have money, crazy dude it's it's
- 1:16:08hot as shit in here damn. These are the weirdest
- 1:16:11questions. Why is he so handsome?
- 1:16:12Ricardo. OK, there's a lot of people
- 1:16:16hitting on you in here. Oh no.
- 1:16:17Yeah, Helen, you might. You might want to leave the.
- 1:16:19You might want to leave the room.
- 1:16:20Let's read a good one. Is Chris single?
- 1:16:22No, no. It wasn't a girl, so don't
- 1:16:25worry. But who?
- 1:16:26Wasn't it? Don't worry about it.
- 1:16:30Can I hire Chris as my personal trainer?
- 1:16:32OK. Personal trainer.
- 1:16:34Dude, you, I mean you have made a crazy trans transformation.
- 1:16:37Transformation. Yeah.
- 1:16:39And what a year. How good was it to make that
- 1:16:40post dude? How good did that feel?
- 1:16:42Felt pretty good because you had the.
- 1:16:46Who's that on the bottom? What the fuck was that?
- 1:16:50Just some dickhead continue. But yeah, no, like how good.
- 1:16:52It felt good. Because I feel like when you
- 1:16:54look back at yourself, it's just like, it's such a weird.
- 1:16:56You're just like, God damn like. I do it all the time at home.
- 1:17:00Really. Why did you think that was one
- 1:17:02of yelling I? Said.
- 1:17:08Yeah, dude, it's I'm so proud. I mean, there's a lot of
- 1:17:10changes. I definitely sleep better at
- 1:17:13night. I feel better when I drink.
- 1:17:16I get red easier now. You you get wrecked.
- 1:17:19Like I get Asian glow easier. No, I don't.
- 1:17:21Get wrecked. Oh, he got that glow.
- 1:17:22Oh. Shit glow.
- 1:17:27Why is that? Why?
- 1:17:28Why does that happen? You.
- 1:17:30Don't know. You don't know what the Asian
- 1:17:31glow is. No, I know what that is, but
- 1:17:33like, why does it happen when you're less fat?
- 1:17:34I feel like it's an allergic reaction.
- 1:17:36I feel like your body. Is an allergic reaction to
- 1:17:39alcohol. Yeah, but you think?
- 1:17:42I don't know. Just lost weight in your face?
- 1:17:44Yeah, probably. Yeah, it's less fat.
- 1:17:47I just think it's crazy that you this was all from dieting.
- 1:17:51Yeah, that was the one thing I wanted to do is I wanted to do
- 1:17:54it for a year with like minimal exercise so that I could prove
- 1:18:00to myself I could do this in a year and that I wanted to hit 80
- 1:18:04lbs. Didn't hit it because.
- 1:18:06You want to drop down to 80. No, I wanted to hit 80 lbs lost.
- 1:18:14Malcolm said. That's like me.
- 1:18:16You. Wanted you wanted to be 80 lbs.
- 1:18:21It's crazy. Well, when I started, I wanted
- 1:18:24to do, I wanted to lose 100 lbs just dieting in one year.
- 1:18:28Yeah, I realized I was kind of ridiculous without exercise.
- 1:18:32Yeah. So I was like, OK, let's do 80.
- 1:18:35So that way. Well, for those who don't know,
- 1:18:37I was 280-6287. All good.
- 1:18:44Nah. Damn.
- 1:18:46I was 280. Six.
- 1:18:47I'm sorry, freak. I'm sorry.
- 1:18:49Freak. I'm sorry, it's what?
- 1:18:52286 on August of 2024. I wanted to hit 200 in one year.
- 1:18:58OK. Then I think it was.
- 1:19:00Literally like a 11 year old. What 80 lbs?
- 1:19:04Like, I'm trying to think of like a kid that size that's a
- 1:19:07fucking full-sized human being to lose 80 lbs.
- 1:19:10Oh, I see what you're saying. OK.
- 1:19:11Yeah, yeah. Yeah, and then in July I hit a
- 1:19:16plateau. So I what do?
- 1:19:17You think the plateau was it was just because like, your body's
- 1:19:20all used to eating the good shit.
- 1:19:22Yeah, yeah. So right now I'm in like a
- 1:19:24reset. So it just, it was in a calorie
- 1:19:27deficit for about a year. Now I'm just doing it and
- 1:19:30maintaining calories, yeah. Yo, I feel like, I feel like
- 1:19:34what, what works for me is like I'll eat a good good bit, like
- 1:19:38good. And then I feel like I just snap
- 1:19:41one day and then just eat like garbage for like a day.
- 1:19:45Then the next day my body's like, you know what?
- 1:19:47We're not doing that again and do it the next week.
- 1:19:50Yeah, you have crazy discipline and with dieting I cannot do
- 1:19:53that. You need the reset though,
- 1:19:55because I feel like your body, your body has to know what's
- 1:19:57bad. I have good discipline, but with
- 1:19:59food, I don't know. There's a.
- 1:20:01Big Mac in my fridge right now. Dude.
- 1:20:03OK I bought it last night. Didn't didn't even get to eat
- 1:20:07it. But like, watching Chris go
- 1:20:09through this was pretty, pretty wild.
- 1:20:13Well, you know what? It was the weighing in every
- 1:20:15week. If I went up and weighing it
- 1:20:17would piss me off. Yeah, well, you just, you took
- 1:20:19your perfectionism and you put it into your body like now I got
- 1:20:23to try to perfect this right, so.
- 1:20:26Yeah. That's kinda exactly what you
- 1:20:28did. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:29So one year later, 70 lbs loss. That's and just from dieting.
- 1:20:34Just dieting. Yeah, I.
- 1:20:36Just saw you go on a hike once bro that's exercise.
- 1:20:39I mean here and there. Like I like for me, I was like
- 1:20:44the opposite of Chris. I was like, yeah, I could, I
- 1:20:46could exercise every day. I can do that.
- 1:20:47So I did that just. Like fuck.
- 1:20:49Yeah, And then people are like, oh, you should just watch what
- 1:20:51I'm like, I can't fucking do that.
- 1:20:52Man opposite, yeah. You know, you had a different
- 1:20:55goal. He had a different goal.
- 1:20:56I wish I could, but like, it's cool to see that that just tells
- 1:21:00me that there's, like, the human brain is very different.
- 1:21:04Like, some people can control things way easier than other
- 1:21:06people, you know? Yeah.
- 1:21:08Let's just say it takes a It takes 30 days to break a habit.
- 1:21:12And it takes 60. 60 to create a new one.
- 1:21:14So I got to do 60 days worth of drugs to get a real be a real
- 1:21:19drug addict. I don't know, it depends on what
- 1:21:21drug. It might just take one time.
- 1:21:24Hero heroin. Heroin.
- 1:21:28Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:21:29I mean, I is there, is there another?
- 1:21:32Is there a Step 2 to this process or is this heroin?
- 1:21:35Yeah. Exercise here.
- 1:21:36It's coming. It's coming.
- 1:21:38You about to get jacked on us? Fuck dude, Chris.
- 1:21:44I don't know if I can handle that.
- 1:21:45Chris. Gets.
- 1:21:46I don't know if I can handle that.
- 1:21:49He's going to be tall, tall as fuck and jacked.
- 1:21:52Just be like, yo, I ain't, I ain't doing that oil change.
- 1:21:54I'm like OK. There's going to be a picture of
- 1:21:55Chris and Helen. Yeah.
- 1:21:59No, I I don't want to. That'd be amazing.
- 1:22:01Crazy muscle. I just want to slim slim up.
- 1:22:04I feel like when I do it that way, tone up, I think in my
- 1:22:07head, I tell myself I just want to get stronger and then that's
- 1:22:10like when I see the most results.
- 1:22:12Dude, I love when I see hunting for it.
- 1:22:14I love when I see those videos of like bodybuilders failing to
- 1:22:16pick something up and then you see this construction work.
- 1:22:19I just go Yep. Yep, that's exactly, yeah.
- 1:22:22Just want usable strength like and I do notice when I'm like
- 1:22:26pretty lazy for a little while and then you go to try to be
- 1:22:29like, let's say you got to pick up a transmission or something.
- 1:22:32You can't do it. But if you're moving like
- 1:22:34regularly, you're a lot stronger than you would be if you
- 1:22:37weren't. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:22:39What do they call that? And your muscles stop fucking.
- 1:22:43There's a name for it. Lethargic.
- 1:22:45That's one way to put it. Gelatinous.
- 1:22:47Just not gelatinous. Squeaky.
- 1:22:51Gout. Yeah.
- 1:22:52Gout. No, I don't know what it's
- 1:22:53called. You might.
- 1:22:54I thought I fucking felt it. I got kind of scared you might
- 1:22:59because I love bacon and shit. Bacon's.
- 1:23:02Red meat bacon. I'm just glad I can't cook well,
- 1:23:06you know, because I'd be fucking 900 lbs.
- 1:23:10Like, I can't. There's no way I'd be able to
- 1:23:11control that. Like, oh, I could just make this
- 1:23:13shit that I want to eat all the time every night.
- 1:23:15Fuck it. What about that family pack of
- 1:23:18Eggos? OK, we didn't have to bring that
- 1:23:21up. You know what you should do?
- 1:23:22What's really good is when you take the Eggos and you put like
- 1:23:25your breakfast stuff in between. That's different level.
- 1:23:28Hey, Carl Bacon level. Cheese.
- 1:23:31It's got a bacon, egg and cheese on them with two waffles.
- 1:23:34Frankie, you think you love food, Carl?
- 1:23:36I have a Yeah, I can tell. Oh, he.
- 1:23:38Loves. Food dude, I love chips.
- 1:23:40Yeah, that's bad. I know it makes me break out.
- 1:23:42I was talking about this the other day.
- 1:23:43How do you stop eating those? You don't.
- 1:23:46You have one, you're like, oh, I guess I'm going to eat the whole
- 1:23:47bag now. Dude jokingly OK, you know
- 1:23:51Diego, I talk about them all the time.
- 1:23:53I talk about all the time on this fucking podcast.
- 1:23:55But I went to their house in Georgia.
- 1:23:57They had and and his now fiance. This is her first impression of
- 1:24:03me. She bought a brand new bag of
- 1:24:05yellow Lays, right? I don't even like those.
- 1:24:09I don't you like those? I mean they they burn the side
- 1:24:12of my mouth. Yeah, they do.
- 1:24:13They're so. Salty.
- 1:24:15Yeah, they're so. Salty.
- 1:24:16I don't even like them, but I had like a couple and next thing
- 1:24:20you know I just clipped the whole bag.
- 1:24:23Dude, that's me at the movies when we got popcorn.
- 1:24:26The first impression, like now, now I'm going to Texas.
- 1:24:30Brad was asking like, yo, what do I get you?
- 1:24:32Diego's like lazy yellow bag. That's crazy.
- 1:24:35I don't even like them but they're just so easy to eat.
- 1:24:38I love. Chicken.
- 1:24:40But popcorn, I, I was telling Malcolm the other night I was
- 1:24:42like, I think I'm done with popcorn, man.
- 1:24:43No way what it. It it's I don't feel good, like
- 1:24:47my mouth does not feel good after popcorn.
- 1:24:49I feel like I got shit everywhere.
- 1:24:50I floss. It still feels bad.
- 1:24:52Oh yeah. And I'm like, dude, I'm are.
- 1:24:54The kernels. Yeah.
- 1:24:56Then you take a corny shit too. Fucking hurts.
- 1:24:58It's never really happened. Dude, it's popcorn.
- 1:25:00It's all Aryan shit because like, it's not food really.
- 1:25:05No, but it's just annoying because you don't think you're
- 1:25:07eating that much and then you go home and you're like, I feel
- 1:25:09like I just fucking like ate glass.
- 1:25:11This. Is all the shit.
- 1:25:11You need a stick of butter. Yeah, but it's good.
- 1:25:15I feel like you got to get it when you go to the movies like.
- 1:25:17It's like a must. Yeah.
- 1:25:18You ever have deep fried butter? Excuse me?
- 1:25:20Like down the shore or something?
- 1:25:21I'm. Going to go with no.
- 1:25:23I have. I have.
- 1:25:27Dude OK give me what is that deep fried butter?
- 1:25:30Like a stick of butter. It's deep fried butter.
- 1:25:34What the fuck? Wouldn't butter just melt Like
- 1:25:36no? It's like they put in like a
- 1:25:37batter and then they just like flash fry.
- 1:25:39Oh, it's. Probably frozen.
- 1:25:41Maybe. Maybe they would freeze it
- 1:25:43first. Like ice cream, a stick of
- 1:25:44butter, a. Stick of butter that's fried
- 1:25:45with bread crumbs. Breaded and shit like I don't
- 1:25:48know, but that is. The craziest shit I've ever
- 1:25:51heard in my life. I saw like slap whoever the fuck
- 1:25:52invented that shit. That shit sounds fucking nasty.
- 1:25:54It was pretty good. And disgusting.
- 1:25:56You got him emotional. It was pretty good, but I can't.
- 1:25:57Even imagine putting that shit in my mouth.
- 1:25:59I will slap a bitch. I mean he is.
- 1:26:01He doesn't like people that eat butter.
- 1:26:02The thing is, is like I ate like pretty much around.
- 1:26:05I saved like pretty much a hot dog's worth of butter.
- 1:26:07So I pretty much I just ate like buttered batter.
- 1:26:10This is your boy. No, it's disgusting.
- 1:26:13Dude, let me tell you, Let me tell you.
- 1:26:15I went to bed that night and woke up fucking like it felt
- 1:26:21like I. Had you woke up?
- 1:26:23It felt like I had butter on, like on me, dude, it was crazy.
- 1:26:28That's disgusting. It was so bad and.
- 1:26:30They sell that to people. Yeah.
- 1:26:32Are you supposed to eat that in one shot?
- 1:26:34I hope not, I just wanted Pickles.
- 1:26:37Dude I feel disgusting eating like buttered noodles.
- 1:26:40Meat. I feel disgusting eating a loaf
- 1:26:42of bread with butter. Dude, Butter.
- 1:26:44I'm like buttering the bread. I'm like, I feel gross right
- 1:26:46now. Little fettuccine, little
- 1:26:47butter, little take the broccoli and just fucking like just take
- 1:26:51it a bunch and just drop some of the green shit in the.
- 1:26:53Chili flakes, yeah. So you don't like to use a lot
- 1:26:55of butter? No.
- 1:26:56Yeah, me either. I've always been that way.
- 1:26:58What's that though? You're Italian?
- 1:27:00My mom would dump butter on shit.
- 1:27:02Oh, you need some more butter? Dump a whole stick, mom.
- 1:27:03I'm good. That's what Dad just had a heart
- 1:27:05attack. I don't need all that.
- 1:27:07Like, I don't need that shit. And like, I was like, I don't
- 1:27:10know, I just always been that way.
- 1:27:11But then when you get a little extra, dude, it does taste good.
- 1:27:15It tastes. Really good.
- 1:27:17Especially on the steak. Yeah.
- 1:27:18I bet you like those, dude. The Culver's Burgers that we
- 1:27:20missed. This.
- 1:27:21Oh my God. They rub them like.
- 1:27:23This stop bringing up Culver's dude I I get triggered.
- 1:27:27Every one of my Italian friends, when they cook, they tell me
- 1:27:30literally the secret is butter. You ask this butter.
- 1:27:32It's fucking butter. Yeah, it's salt.
- 1:27:36Butter or mayonnaise? Or it's the feet they use to
- 1:27:39crush a tomato. That's cute.
- 1:27:45What makes a horse a zebra? I.
- 1:27:49Don't even know how this is it's.
- 1:27:50A great fucking question. How do I even?
- 1:27:52Answer that. How do you answer that?
- 1:27:54I don't know the answer to that. I I everyone thinks they know
- 1:27:57the answer but we might be wrong.
- 1:28:00Is it just the stripes? I don't know like.
- 1:28:03Malcolm. Well, a zebra is more of a
- 1:28:06donkey than a horse. That's an argument right there.
- 1:28:09I feel like a donkey is more of a dog.
- 1:28:11Let's ask AI. Or is it a mule?
- 1:28:14Oh yeah, OK, yeah, Mule, because it's like a smaller frame.
- 1:28:18Yeah, I bet you a zebra is more related to the donkey or a mule
- 1:28:22than a fucking horse. All right, place your bets.
- 1:28:25Let's look it up. SAISAI, yeah.
- 1:28:28I got it. I think it's a fucking horse.
- 1:28:31Dude I want to paint this helmet but I have.
- 1:28:33Because a mule ain't running away from a fucking tiger.
- 1:28:36Or a lion. Look at all these like Club blue
- 1:28:39stickers and like I don't want to paint.
- 1:28:41Hello. Oh, you want to paint?
- 1:28:43Yeah. What makes a read it out loud?
- 1:28:53Oh, a horse becomes a zebra dot, dot, dot.
- 1:28:55Well, not exactly, but here's the real breakdown of how
- 1:28:58they're related. Both are.
- 1:29:01Was it equids? Equids.
- 1:29:04Zebra and horses belong to the same family.
- 1:29:07I'm not reading that. And the same genius Equus genus
- 1:29:13Equus. Similar body structure for legs,
- 1:29:16whose long faces and manes herbivore.
- 1:29:19They eat mostly grass. Here's what they here's what
- 1:29:22makes a zebra not a horse. Technically a different species.
- 1:29:25Stripes, obviously. Domestication.
- 1:29:29No one has successfully domesticated a zebra.
- 1:29:32Wow. I'd like to take that challenge.
- 1:29:34Yeah, right. I'll.
- 1:29:35Get on that, you bring a zebra here, I'll break them.
- 1:29:37So you can't break? Yeah, you can't break them.
- 1:29:39That's what they're saying, yeah.
- 1:29:40What is a? Land Man in November, by the
- 1:29:42way. Oh hell yeah.
- 1:29:43Yep. Yep.
- 1:29:44Vocalization bark like Bray or Yep.
- 1:29:49Oh, what's that? What's that last word?
- 1:29:51Nay, Malcolm, read what the read what the horse does a.
- 1:29:57Horse nays, winnies or knickers. OK, or should I say knickers?
- 1:30:08What did you call me? All right.
- 1:30:09A zebra lives in Africa and a horse lives worldwide,
- 1:30:13originally from Central Asia. Bonus.
- 1:30:16Can a horse and a zebra mate? Yes.
- 1:30:18Azores is a real hybrid. Yeah.
- 1:30:22Usually sterile through the chromosome mismatch.
- 1:30:24What the fuck, look up Azores, that sounds like a zoit.
- 1:30:28Too long, didn't read. A zebra isn't just a striped
- 1:30:30horse, it's a different species with its own behavior, genetics,
- 1:30:32and evolutionary history, even though they share a common
- 1:30:34ancestor. Interesting.
- 1:30:39Damn Malcolm. Polite, you put, Please.
- 1:30:41I don't want, I don't want to be on this guy's side.
- 1:30:42Oh no. That that small one looks kind
- 1:30:46of cool. That's not a real animal.
- 1:30:51That shit's retarded as. Fuck.
- 1:30:53You saw what it said. That thing's kind of cute, I'm
- 1:30:55not gonna lie. It look like.
- 1:30:56That's that Lady walking down the.
- 1:30:57Street. It kind of looks like a
- 1:30:58Chihuahua it. Kind of looks like.
- 1:31:00Chip. Yeah, it does look like Chip.
- 1:31:03A little bit of Edgar in there. That guy's that looks.
- 1:31:06Kind of cool. That's sick.
- 1:31:08That's like every rug they had at the store come by.
- 1:31:11Stubby. That one is sick.
- 1:31:14Dude, that one's got a colorway on her.
- 1:31:16Yeah, 2 tone. That thing's sick.
- 1:31:18Would you ever ride a horse? You never.
- 1:31:21Have you never? Yeah, I was going to say.
- 1:31:23I never have. I have ridden a horse.
- 1:31:25How was it? Wasn't I with?
- 1:31:28You. I'm not even going to hold you
- 1:31:30like, wasn't I with you when we row horses or something.
- 1:31:32Oh, you guys, this was. This was a middle school.
- 1:31:37That's one of my like dreams. I want to ride a horse.
- 1:31:40That's it. Yep.
- 1:31:41I'm gonna make that happen right now.
- 1:31:43OK? Meadowlands right here.
- 1:31:45Sports book. They got the fucking thing.
- 1:31:46Yeah. I don't know, I think it would
- 1:31:48be cool. Dude, OK, I can make that
- 1:31:50happen. Let's think I'm a.
- 1:31:51I'm a I'm gonna remember that. The people at Mid Michigan Drift
- 1:31:56Club want you to attend an event next month in Jackson, MI.
- 1:32:03OK. Do you know of that Carl Mid
- 1:32:07Michigan Drift Club? No, not really.
- 1:32:11What is Mid Michigan? That's kind of.
- 1:32:13Far I got this far as. Hell, who asked?
- 1:32:15That Zack Zack, Zacky, Chan Chany I can fucking hate
- 1:32:22reading. All.
- 1:32:25Right. I can.
- 1:32:26Every time someone's like, oh, who said that, it's like some
- 1:32:28crazy shit and I'm like, God damn it.
- 1:32:31I would love to go. If money grew on trees and
- 1:32:34opportunity persisted, I would go, yeah.
- 1:32:36But it doesn't so. Thoughts on the Charlie Kirk
- 1:32:40shooting? OK, well, we don't really need
- 1:32:42to talk about that. Can I hire Chris as my personal
- 1:32:47trainer? I read that.
- 1:32:48OK, we're pretty much. We're good.
- 1:32:50I thought there was one in here I want to read but does anyone
- 1:32:58like Oreo Reese's cups? Is that the one that you want to
- 1:33:01read? No, I'm just asking because I
- 1:33:03saw it I. Don't even know if I've ever
- 1:33:05tried. Yeah, I don't think I've ever.
- 1:33:07Had. Isn't that a new thing?
- 1:33:08Yeah, I saw that. Did someone, I think Ken was
- 1:33:12going to bring them here. Someone sent me it and they're
- 1:33:14like, oh, I was like, I don't fucking eat peanut butter.
- 1:33:16Really. Honestly.
- 1:33:17I love peanut butter. I'm not a peanut butter guy.
- 1:33:21Yeah. But I'll eat it though.
- 1:33:22Is there anything else you wanted to close with?
- 1:33:24Chris, Thanks for hanging out with us.
- 1:33:25Thanks. Thanks for your too, Ellen.
- 1:33:27Yeah, it's hot in here. I know it's hot fun.
- 1:33:29It's hot. It's not fun in here right now,
- 1:33:31so. But thanks for coming on.
- 1:33:33I feel like we really get to hang out with Chris.
- 1:33:35We don't. We have to force him to do a
- 1:33:37podcast in order to hang out with him.
- 1:33:38So yeah, damn. You want to do.
- 1:33:40Your day. Well, we went out the other day.
- 1:33:42That was fun. Well.
- 1:33:45Here there's like a colder one in there.
- 1:33:47Dan's here now. Dan here.
- 1:33:48Not blue, not blue. Miyagi's.
- 1:33:52Here, Miyagi's twin brother Dan is here right now, not.
- 1:33:55The. Real, not the real Miyagi.
- 1:33:57Dude I see now I've this year's seen Dan more than Miyagi.
- 1:34:01Oh yeah 100%. I've seen him more last year
- 1:34:03than Miyagi. Insanity.
- 1:34:05Yep. Insanity.
- 1:34:06You want to talk about how big his truck is?
- 1:34:09Oh yeah, who? He's got a Raptor.
- 1:34:11You. Wouldn't fit on the fucking
- 1:34:13alignment rack. We put on the alignment rack.
- 1:34:15It was hanging off both both edges.
- 1:34:18He said no. He said sit over, stand over
- 1:34:20here by the mic. You you bought a Raptor.
- 1:34:23I did got AI, got a Gen. 1 Raptor because you know, V
- 1:34:26eights are everything. But you just had a Subaru.
- 1:34:28I don't. Know I had to, that's why I had
- 1:34:32to redeem that. Song that's.
- 1:34:34Crazy dude. I think they.
- 1:34:36I think my least favorite thing about that Raptor is the
- 1:34:39interior. That's it.
- 1:34:40I never. I didn't.
- 1:34:41See it inside dog shit, but I got I got AC seats so it.
- 1:34:44Looks like a Ford Escape in there.
- 1:34:45It was just crazy. I was like, wow, that's a really
- 1:34:47big lower control arm. And I look up and I look at the
- 1:34:50upper control arm and it's like fucking as skinny as this.
- 1:34:52And I'm like wait. What?
- 1:34:53Yeah, very weird. OK, Ford, you know.
- 1:34:57All right, well. All right, I guess we should get
- 1:34:59out of here. We're.
- 1:35:00Gonna ride motorcycles now so pray for me.
- 1:35:02Yep. Hope you guys enjoyed this.
- 1:35:04Let me check the oil. Yeah, the throttle.
- 1:35:06Cable is sketchy. Mine.
- 1:35:07Yeah, you're missing one. You're missing like the return.
- 1:35:10I just like snap it back whatever.
- 1:35:13Wow. Boy, that's Carl.
- 1:35:15Chopping the fact that it even works, dude, sure.
- 1:35:20Thank you guys so much for listening.
- 1:35:22That's it I guess. That's it.
- 1:35:24We're too hot. We're leaving.
- 1:35:25Take a break. All right, well, that was a fun
- 1:36:00episode. Yeah, it was good.
- 1:36:05Didn't get to talk about much but it was a good hanging out
- 1:36:09set. Just straight up, right away.
- 1:36:11Yeah. Yeah, Carl took the reins on
- 1:36:14that episode, but Chris is a man of very few words anyway.
- 1:36:19So he lets his work do the talking.
- 1:36:23Yeah, but maybe we'll have Chris on for a Patreon episode or
- 1:36:27something. You know, yeah.
- 1:36:27In private, yeah. But yeah, I hope you guys
- 1:36:32enjoyed that one. Chris is a very intelligent
- 1:36:37person. I I do actually hope to get him
- 1:36:40on here again and maybe talk about, you know, work and stuff,
- 1:36:46you know, I don't know, I I think it would be interesting.
- 1:36:49Definitely. Yeah.
- 1:36:50Let us know what you guys think. What else was I going to say?
- 1:36:54Oh, I mean, I can just go say this to Chris face to face, but
- 1:37:01I'm pretty proud of that guy for losing all that weight.
- 1:37:04I I know you are too. So but.
- 1:37:06Yeah, very cool. Yeah, to witness.
- 1:37:08I hope people that are in the same predicament as he was can
- 1:37:12take a look at his Instagram and see how much weight he lost over
- 1:37:15the matter of a year and maybe be inspired by it.
- 1:37:17I know I am. I, I don't know how he is able
- 1:37:19to diet like that. That's like next level to me.
- 1:37:23I, I just don't get it. I don't have self-control with
- 1:37:25food like that. So I know you don't have a
- 1:37:27problem with that, but yeah, I'm Malcolm born.
- 1:37:31I have. A problem with gaining weight is
- 1:37:33a different end of the spectrum. Yeah, you have literally the
- 1:37:35exact opposite problem. So.
- 1:37:37Yeah, so all my skinny people out there take it as motivation
- 1:37:40to put the work in to gain some weight too.
- 1:37:45What is the best way to gain weight?
- 1:37:46Extra workout, really. Yeah, I would think that would
- 1:37:50burn calories. That's the only way I could gain
- 1:37:53weight because it makes you hungrier and you gain muscle at
- 1:37:56the same. Time you got to tire yourself
- 1:37:58out. That's.
- 1:37:59Yeah, that's the only way you get hungry.
- 1:38:00Yeah. Well, Speaking of hungry, we
- 1:38:07don't sell food here. So doesn't.
- 1:38:08I can't really. I can't really wrap that.
- 1:38:10Speaking of hungry, we're hungry for some work.
- 1:38:12Bring your car in guys that. Was good, yeah.
- 1:38:15OK. Yeah, guys, winter's coming, so

- 1:38:23online orders and if you order online, we got that raffle for
- 1:38:26the Nardy steering wheel and work spell hub so.
- 1:38:28Yeah, and if Nardy's not your flavor, you can go with a
- 1:38:31personal wheel. You know, wow.
- 1:38:34Yeah. What else?
- 1:38:35We got going on. I was hoping you would come up
- 1:38:38back with another food thing. Yeah.
- 1:38:41But now I was trying to cook something on it.
- 1:38:42Yeah, shit. OK, OK.
- 1:38:48OK, well, I mean. Anyway.
- 1:38:52I can't all got one. Yeah, I'm not like you have one.

- 1:38:57But guys, if you can't afford your meal now, a firm's got your
- 1:39:00back. So if you if you need, you know,
- 1:39:03if people do that, you know that.
- 1:39:04Yeah, you've heard of that? Before, like Chipotle or.
- 1:39:06Something like oh, I need to chip.
- 1:39:08Oh, if you can't afford your Chipotle meal now, pay in four.
- 1:39:12Bitch, if you need to pay in four, you're fucked.
- 1:39:14Yeah. If you're fucked, sell the
- 1:39:16apartment. Wherever you're at.
- 1:39:18Sell it. Start living on the street
- 1:39:20because shit's about to get bad. So, yeah, paying for for food.
- 1:39:25All right, Move past. Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:39:27I'm sorry. I just can't get past that.
- 1:39:29I'm sorry. All right?
- 1:39:30Merch updates. Merch.
- 1:39:32Well, we got some merchants doc. Yeah, we got some merchants.
