- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So we've all heard the cautionary tale of using the
- 0:34phrase. I am, we all understand.
- 0:38Well I want to believe we all understand the depth at which it
- 0:41really identifies. Lots of things for us and speaks
- 0:44volumes to how we feel about ourselves and what we're
- 0:47thinking about ourselves, whether it's conscious or
- 0:49unconscious. The some of the most powerful
- 0:52words in the universe are I am Now, if you couple that fact
- 0:58with you get what you expect, you now start to have
- 1:02understanding of how our language and how our beliefs
- 1:08coupled together are the force for what move us forward or take
- 1:13us out. They either bring us to our best
- 1:15selves and our greatness or they destroy us because what you
- 1:20expect from yourself matters and it's all in your language.
- 1:23So I thought it was a worthwhile.
- 1:25Touch Point again. And while I've talked about it
- 1:27many different times, in different ways, I will continue
- 1:30to because it's one of the most unbelievable little tiny pieces
- 1:34of information that we get to carry around with us
- 1:37consistently and if we don't pay attention to it, nobody will.
- 1:42We have to be the ones that pay attention to it.
- 1:44We have to be the ones that actually say, okay, I'm going to
- 1:47monitor this. I'm going to really think about
- 1:49this. And I'm going to listen to
- 1:50myself and see what am I saying? And over the course of the last
- 1:54couple days, is, i I've been hearing clients talk and saying
- 1:57certain things and just picking up on little like blips, if you
- 2:03will just wear the things pop out and I can say, wow, okay,
- 2:05this is an issue. I have come to the conclusion
- 2:09that we don't even realize on such a common like, depth, that
- 2:17its present. So I'm going to give you an
- 2:19example. How many times yesterday?
- 2:21Did you say to yourself? I am Hungry.
- 2:26I am thirsty. I am tired.
- 2:28I am just over this. You don't realize how many times
- 2:33you use the phrase. I am.
- 2:34I know you don't because I don't.
- 2:37So, I did a little experiment with myself this past week and I
- 2:40started to really pay attention to what I'm using that phrase
- 2:44for what am I using? It is its in its totality, for
- 2:49my using it to move me closer to where I want to go over my,
- 2:51using it to get me further away, because if I keep, Saying, I'm
- 2:55exhausted, I'm exhausted, I'm exhausted.
- 2:57And I'm in the middle of a big project.
- 2:59Oh, my gosh. Is that healthy?
- 3:01No, it's not healthy. It might be a reality that I'm
- 3:04tired, but me telling myself that over and over is not
- 3:07helping. So it's information, once you
- 3:10get the information, you have to change your pattern, you have to
- 3:13change what you're doing. You have to make a decision and
- 3:15move in a different way. So I started monitoring it.
- 3:19I was shocked at how many times I actually stopped counting at
- 3:23the beginning of the week because I couldn't believe How
- 3:25much I was doing it? I was like, all right, all
- 3:27right, point taken, I got it. And I stopped paying attention
- 3:30to it because I was just like, okay, and I started just saying
- 3:33course correct. Every time, I hear it, I've got
- 3:36to course-correct every time I hear this phrase, I have to
- 3:39force myself to move in a different direction.
- 3:42So still even though I'm in the midst of doing it I'm still
- 3:47monitoring it and I'm really on myself for it but I'm going to
- 3:51tell you it is not easy with these little things like you.
- 3:54I am very Very attuned to the big things.
- 3:56I'm very attuned to picking it up.
- 3:58If I have something that is pending.
- 4:02If I'm experimenting on our, if I'm doing something with my
- 4:06vegetables in my garden, if I'm creating writing a book doing
- 4:09coursework, I am very attuned to that kind of phrase showing up
- 4:14there. I am not attuned to the fact
- 4:18that I could use it during the day when it comes out.
- 4:21Like, okay, I'm just over this or Like in the sense of okay,
- 4:27I've got these little tiny worms that are eating through some of
- 4:30my leaves on my tomatoes and I'm trying to work to have this like
- 4:34my vision is an epic year in the tomato garden.
- 4:37So I'm trying to work on patients with it which I'm not
- 4:40good at it and I know that. So I'm working on it and I'm
- 4:44trying to work on making them super healthy before the heat
- 4:47gets here. So, I find these little tomatoes
- 4:51and I'm trying all these little, I mean, these little worms on
- 4:53the tomatoes, I'm trying to get them off.
- 4:55And so I'm like doing different things.
- 4:57I created this spray organic spray from just boiling crushed,
- 5:02red peppers, and spraying it on them and I'm Googling and
- 5:04looking for all these different things and I hear myself after
- 5:07doing it a couple days. I hear myself go, I'm over this.
- 5:11I'm so over this I'm so frustrated like why can't I get
- 5:14this? And I'm listening to myself as
- 5:16the Observer because I had turned that key on in my head
- 5:19and I was like, what are you doing?
- 5:21This is this is not how this works.
- 5:22Stop. So then, you know, little while
- 5:24later Checking to see if the worms are moving on.
- 5:27Like, oh, and I can hear myself in my head, doing it again, like
- 5:32I am over this. I really had to work on that
- 5:35this week. I had to focus on it, so I'm
- 5:38telling you it's Insidious. It's the little things that
- 5:41matter. Because remember, your most
- 5:43consistent thoughts, your most consistent patterns, are the
- 5:46ones that drive you, not the big ones, the little ones because
- 5:50they're the ones that are the most consistent.
- 5:52So start looking for that. See if you In find it.
- 5:55See if it's you're having these things happen, like me and it's
- 5:59just the small stuff, but it's taking you off course far enough
- 6:04that you don't want it to happen.
- 6:06Trust me so work on it. All right, my friends.
- 6:10I hope you have a very blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:14Bye.
