- 0:00Speaker 1: Democrats and Trump haters would like to make that like
- 0:02Speaker 1: a national thing every year, like you know, nine to eleven,
- 0:06Speaker 1: where the whole country stops to remember, or they'd want
- 0:09Speaker 1: to make it like a pearl harbor kind of. It's
- 0:11Speaker 1: not going to work. Those of you that don't remember
- 0:14Speaker 1: January sixth, was that terrible trespassing incident at the Capitol?
- 0:18Speaker 1: I remember. But here's the democrats are now. You know,
- 0:23Speaker 1: all the universities have been corrupted, many of our high schools.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You got all these left wing teachers. You got all
- 0:30Speaker 1: this left wing propaganda being taught in schools now, and
- 0:33Speaker 1: this is why you get people that younger, people that
- 0:35Speaker 1: will vote from Mamdani twenty thirty years of being indoctrinated
- 0:39Speaker 1: in these left wing classrooms. Well, now they want to
- 0:43Speaker 1: add January sixth to the history books and have that
- 0:45Speaker 1: taught in every classroom.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Of course, they're not going to teach the whole story,
- 0:50Speaker 1: as democrats do or fake news does. They'll just give
- 0:54Speaker 1: you three or four pieces of the puzzle and leave
- 0:57Speaker 1: out ninety eight percent of it, so they won't tell
- 0:59Speaker 1: you that President Trump offered ten thousand troops and urged
- 1:04Speaker 1: them to take the ten thousand troops to guard the
- 1:07Speaker 1: capital that day. It was just another demonstration like the
- 1:10Speaker 1: other two hundred and seventy five that had happened that
- 1:13Speaker 1: whole summer in America. But Nancy Pelosi and the mayor
- 1:18Speaker 1: of DC decided not to accept the offer of the
- 1:20Speaker 1: ten thousand troops. They were told four hundred thousand demonstrators
- 1:25Speaker 1: would show up. They turned down the ten thousand troops.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And by the way, demonstrations of that size were taking
- 1:32Speaker 1: place all the time in Washington when Trump was president.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Once remember at the Lincoln Memorial, and he surrounded it
- 1:39Speaker 1: with troops with machine guns and nobody got near the
- 1:41Speaker 1: Lincoln Memorial. The worst one was when Democratic protesters tried
- 1:46Speaker 1: to take the White House, tried to come over the fence.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Remember Trump put out those tweets if you do come
- 1:52Speaker 1: over the fence, you're going to see the most vicious
- 1:54Speaker 1: dogs you've ever seen. But he surrounded the place with troops.
- 1:57Speaker 1: There was still a hell of a battle at the
- 1:58Speaker 1: White House fence. Over two hundred law enforcement ended up
- 2:02Speaker 1: in the hospital after that. But January sixth, it was
- 2:07Speaker 1: just another one of those, not as bad as the
- 2:08Speaker 1: one at the White House. But Nancy Pelosi made the
- 2:12Speaker 1: decision that she would try to guard the building with
- 2:15Speaker 1: just the building security guys the Capitol Hill Police, which
- 2:19Speaker 1: it's basically go it is the security guys at the
- 2:21Speaker 1: building instead of actual troops and Capitol police. They're nice,
- 2:27Speaker 1: but they there's only a couple of hundred of them,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and they can't control four hundred thousand demonstrators, so they'll
- 2:35Speaker 1: leave that out of the discussion. In fact, Nancy Pelosi
- 2:38Speaker 1: to this day denies it, although there's video of her
- 2:41Speaker 1: admitting to it that night that she turned it down
- 2:43Speaker 1: and this is all her fault. But she'll deny it,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and they'll teach the fake version of January sixth. They'll say,
- 2:49Speaker 1: they'll just keep using the word insurrection. It was an insurrection. Meantime,
- 2:53Speaker 1: they arrested twelve hundred of those demonstrators, not a single
- 2:56Speaker 1: one has been charged with insurrection. And remember they charge
- 3:00Speaker 1: these guys with everything they could hit him with. Each
- 3:02Speaker 1: one got hit with twelve charges, nineteen charges, twenty anything
- 3:05Speaker 1: they could charge him with, and nobody got charged with insurrection.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But we'll see see what happens if they can stop
- 3:13Speaker 1: that from going into the history books. Hey. TV ratings
- 3:17Speaker 1: for the year twenty twenty five, you know the New
- 3:20Speaker 1: Year's Eve show on ABC, which was Dick Clark's rock
- 3:23Speaker 1: in New Year's Eve for years now it's Ryan Seacrest
- 3:27Speaker 1: did pretty well, got eighteen million viewers and today's broadcast
- 3:32Speaker 1: TV World that is enormous. That's huge, huge, and got
- 3:38Speaker 1: seventeen million the year before, so it was a definite increase.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It went up. Andy Cohen of course, looked ridiculous, getting
- 3:45Speaker 1: drunk out of his mind, going into a drunken rant
- 3:48Speaker 1: about Eric Adams, and then Adams was asked about it
- 3:51Speaker 1: the next day. What do you got to say to
- 3:53Speaker 1: Andy Cohen who called you all kinds of names, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: he said, I got My response is two letters, and
- 4:01Speaker 1: you thought it must be f you or something like
- 4:06Speaker 1: My response is two letters AA, which is a great response.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And now Adam's tweeting about Andy Cohen alcoholics anonymous. So
- 4:18Speaker 1: it is a problem. You know, people get drunk on
- 4:21Speaker 1: New Year's Eve, but if you're on live television in
- 4:23Speaker 1: front of eighteen million people, you'd think you'd have a
- 4:26Speaker 1: little discipline not to get that drunk. But it was
- 4:28Speaker 1: a big night for ABC with the eighteen million viewers.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Fox News had one of the best years ever. Four
- 4:37Speaker 1: point one million viewers was the average. That's like way
- 4:41Speaker 1: beyond any other cable network four point one million viewers.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Biggest show of the year was The Five and Jesse
- 4:49Speaker 1: Waters and of course Hannity. Those are the three biggest
- 4:52Speaker 1: shows MSNBC, CNN a bad year, not a lot. The
- 4:57Speaker 1: most watched telecast of twenty twenty five number one, right
- 5:02Speaker 1: the super Bowl, Number two. Tracker The hell is Tracker?
- 5:07Speaker 1: I don't know. It's one of those drama shows. I know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I do know. It's about that whatever he is, a detective,
- 5:12Speaker 1: whatever he is who tracks down missing people. Nineteen episodes,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but it did really well. The NFL was the biggest
- 5:18Speaker 1: thing on television all year. If you take the top
- 5:21Speaker 1: one hundred things of twenty twenty five, forty five of
- 5:25Speaker 1: them almost half were NFL games. That's really the only
- 5:30Speaker 1: thing keeping broadcast TV alive. Ratings are down dramatically. Everything
- 5:35Speaker 1: in broadcast TV ratings are way down, but the NFL
- 5:40Speaker 1: doing really well. Tim Waltz, you know, he said he
- 5:43Speaker 1: will not seek reelection, and I don't blame him. If
- 5:47Speaker 1: eighteen billion was stolen right under your nose in your
- 5:50Speaker 1: own state, you got no business seeking reelection. By the way,
- 5:53Speaker 1: the attorney general of Minnesota, that left wing kook, Keith Ellison,
- 5:58Speaker 1: Why hasn't he resigned? If you're the attorney general and
- 6:01Speaker 1: eighteen billion was stolen right into your nose and you
- 6:04Speaker 1: didn't catch it, why hasn't he resigned? Now people are
- 6:08Speaker 1: calling for Waltz to resign immediately. He won't seek reelection,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but people are saying this is so bad, this scandal
- 6:15Speaker 1: so horrifying, that he should resign immediately. He refuses to
- 6:19Speaker 1: do that.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I'm not going anywhere, and you can make all your
- 6:22Speaker 3: requests for me to resign over my dead body will
- 6:25Speaker 3: that happen. I will fight this thing till the very
- 6:27Speaker 3: end to make this state better. And the question that
- 6:30Speaker 3: I think they need to decide is is when did
- 6:32Speaker 3: the guy in the White House resign? Anytime I get
- 6:35Speaker 3: drug into being next to Donald Trump? God help me,
- 6:38Speaker 3: I don't want to be judged against that guy.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Now, apparently in private they told him he should resign,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and he threw a temper tantrument and went nuts. And
- 6:47Speaker 1: then the rest of that speech was this whole thing
- 6:49Speaker 1: about every minute I spend on my own political interests
- 6:53Speaker 1: is a minute. I can't spend defending the people in
- 6:55Speaker 1: Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity. Well,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I think if eighteen billion went missing, we could agree.
- 7:02Speaker 1: He's not very good at that. Anyway, he is suffering.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know, want to make fun of a
- 7:09Speaker 1: guy with medical problems. He is suffering from Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Game's over for him now. It was all me. I
- 7:16Speaker 1: was the bad guy or whatever.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Well, put up or shut up now and tell us
- 7:20Speaker 3: what you're going to do to make this state better.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Answer these tough questions. Quit hiding behind this and expect
- 7:26Speaker 3: for the next eleven months for me to ride you
- 7:29Speaker 3: like you've never been ridden.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I don't know what that means. But what's Trump going
- 7:35Speaker 1: to do about it? Well, right now they're going in
- 7:37Speaker 1: and arresting the criminals who stole the eighteen billion, not million,
- 7:42Speaker 1: eighteen billion. They're arresting them one by one. This is
- 7:45Speaker 1: like the Bernie Madoff cleanup. You know, they had to
- 7:48Speaker 1: go after everybody, but then they had to claw back
- 7:50Speaker 1: the money. Well, the Feds are starting to do that.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know a lot of these ring leaders of this
- 7:54Speaker 1: fraud and it was just an out and out fraud
- 7:57Speaker 1: scheme by these Somalis in in Minnesota. Many of them
- 8:02Speaker 1: took the money and bought mansions and Porsches and luxury
- 8:06Speaker 1: goods and all sorts of expensive real estate. Well here's one.
- 8:10Speaker 1: One woman was convicted. The court is now a federal charges.
- 8:13Speaker 1: The court is now clawing back everything, making her sell
- 8:16Speaker 1: the houses, the Porsche, the cars, the Rolls Royces and
- 8:20Speaker 1: getting the money back. So it takes a while. You know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: with the Bernie Madoff stuff, that was like fifty billion,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but they got back like thirty billion of it. So
- 8:29Speaker 1: they'll get they'll probably get back nine billion of this money.
- 8:31Speaker 1: They'll claw it back slowly but surely. And that's what
- 8:34Speaker 1: you do about it. Oh, I forget George Conway. Now,
- 8:40Speaker 1: this guy is going to be great. We are so
- 8:43Speaker 1: lucky that he has come to New York and he's
- 8:45Speaker 1: going to run for the Gerald Nadler, a congressional seat
- 8:49Speaker 1: that's open. Now you might be saying, well, what if
- 8:50Speaker 1: he wins. He's a left wing crazy, Yeah, but so
- 8:53Speaker 1: as Nadler, So it's no change at all. And that
- 8:56Speaker 1: district in New York, you're always going to get a
- 8:58Speaker 1: left wing cooks. So you might as well, get this guy,
- 9:00Speaker 1: because he's so silly and such a clown. George Conway.
- 9:04Speaker 1: He was married at one time to Kelly and Conway,
- 9:07Speaker 1: who's great and you might say, well, how could that be. Well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: back then, you know, he was one of the most
- 9:12Speaker 1: brilliant lawyers in New York, brilliant attorney, a very successful guy,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and then he was married to her. But we've seen
- 9:19Speaker 1: this happen before where somebody goes nuts. And Conway was
- 9:24Speaker 1: hanging around with all the big Conservatives and Republicans, George Conway,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and then at some point we've seen it with other people.
- 9:30Speaker 1: They they just snap, they just go nuts, and all
- 9:34Speaker 1: of a sudden they become a left wing cook with
- 9:37Speaker 1: Trump derangement syndrome. But he's going to run for this
- 9:40Speaker 1: seat on the west side of Manhattan. Now, you might
- 9:43Speaker 1: be saying to yourself, wait a minute, he lives in Maryland.
- 9:45Speaker 1: He doesn't even live here. Well, he's a Democrat. You
- 9:48Speaker 1: can do whatever the hell you want when you're a Democrat.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And he's got raised money and he's got his first
- 9:53Speaker 1: campaign ads. The George Conway campaign is underway. As one
- 9:58Speaker 1: of the ads, we.
- 10:00Speaker 4: President a mendacious president, a criminal president. Whose masked agents
- 10:04Speaker 4: are disappearing people from our streets. Who's breaking international law
- 10:09Speaker 4: and he's running our federal government like a mob protection racket.
- 10:15Speaker 1: This is why this guy's going to be great. This hysterical,
- 10:17Speaker 1: hyperbolg and nonsense. And he's mendacious, which I think is bad.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I don't know exactly what it is, but it's bad.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You don't want to be mendacious. He's disappearing people, it's
- 10:30Speaker 1: called arresting people. I love the and it's a violation
- 10:34Speaker 1: of international law. You're going to hear this a lot
- 10:36Speaker 1: from Democrats, especially with Venezuela. He's violated international law. Nobody
- 10:42Speaker 1: knows what the hell he's talking about. There's no such
- 10:44Speaker 1: thing as international law. Nobody knows what they're referring to.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Where's this international law you're talking about. There is no
- 10:53Speaker 1: international law. The only thing you could point to. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: asked Greg Jarrett, the great legal experd, what the hell
- 10:58Speaker 1: are they talking about international He said, maybe they're talking
- 11:01Speaker 1: about the UN charter United Nations. But they're not a
- 11:06Speaker 1: law enforcement agency. They have no law, they have no authority,
- 11:10Speaker 1: they have no standing at all. So there's no such
- 11:12Speaker 1: thing as international law. But the commercial goes.
- 11:15Speaker 4: On, he doesn't like me. I don't like what he's
- 11:17Speaker 4: done to our great country, and now I'm running for
- 11:20Speaker 4: Congress to take the fight directly back to him.
- 11:23Speaker 1: On your behalf, you go, he does not like what
- 11:27Speaker 1: he's done to this country. But Joe Biden, he ola,
- 11:30Speaker 1: he was thrilled about that. Thrilled. But this guy's going
- 11:34Speaker 1: to be great. We're so lucky to get him here.
- 11:36Speaker 1: This is so good for us. We're going to have
- 11:38Speaker 1: nothing but amusement from this. George Conway, you remember, he's
- 11:41Speaker 1: the guy that ran that crazy Lincoln project with the
- 11:44Speaker 1: same thing. Nothing he did work because it was all
- 11:47Speaker 1: too over the top hysterical.
- 11:48Speaker 5: I don't intend to be doing this when I'm sixty
- 11:50Speaker 5: six or sixty seven or sixty eight. You know, I'm
- 11:54Speaker 5: kind of like a special teams player. I want to
- 11:56Speaker 5: do this for one reason, and that is to help
- 12:00Speaker 5: get this our governmental system back on track with something
- 12:06Speaker 5: back to normal, at least back toward normal.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Here you go. His idea normal was Joe Biden, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 1: the great stephen A. Smith. Let me see if I
- 12:17Speaker 1: can find that quote. It's a very important point because
- 12:21Speaker 1: a lot of these Democrats they're going nuts and screaming
- 12:23Speaker 1: and yelling. Stephen A. Smith is a Democrat, but he
- 12:26Speaker 1: he's like Bill Maher occasional bouts of common sense. But
- 12:30Speaker 1: he stunned a Democratic audience by explaining to them because
- 12:34Speaker 1: they can't get how Donald Trump gets elected. But Stephen A.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Smith explained to him that for all the things they
- 12:39Speaker 1: hate about Donald Trump, to normal voters, to most normal voters,
- 12:45Speaker 1: they think Trump is a lot closer to normal than
- 12:47Speaker 1: today's Democrats are. And you could look at Trump and say,
- 12:51Speaker 1: why he's doing things that's not presidential? Why does he
- 12:53Speaker 1: behave like that way? But whatever he does, it's a
- 12:56Speaker 1: lot more normal than Democrats are. Right now, Hey, there's
- 13:00Speaker 1: a new phenomenon. I don't like this at all. You know,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you know the restaurant Carbone. It opened I don't know
- 13:07Speaker 1: about ten years ago in the village Carbone, an Italian restaurant.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's sort of it was just a gimmick actually for
- 13:15Speaker 1: younger you know, the whole new generation. It was like
- 13:17Speaker 1: old school red sauce Italian food. But to these younger people,
- 13:23Speaker 1: they'd never seen that. I mean, you could go to
- 13:26Speaker 1: Patsy's and it's much better there, but they never saw
- 13:28Speaker 1: anything like Carbone and the checker tablecloths. I never saw
- 13:31Speaker 1: anything like that. So it took off. It became huge.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And when you become the hottest trendiest restaurant, then in
- 13:40Speaker 1: the old days, you were the hottest trendiest restaurant, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: anybody would come to New York. I gotta go there.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I want to. Well, now they opened. When you're at
- 13:47Speaker 1: the trendiest place, you open everywhere. Then there was Carbone Miami.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Then there was Carbone Paris, Carbone, Los Angeles. Carbone now
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's just opening in the Bellagio. So the reason for this,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you get these big hedge fund guys and whenever it's
- 14:01Speaker 1: the hottest restaurant in the world. You know, if you
- 14:04Speaker 1: want to always get a table, you bribe the matri
- 14:06Speaker 1: d or something. But if you really want to get
- 14:08Speaker 1: treated well, you get friendly with the owner and you
- 14:10Speaker 1: offer to put up millions and millions and millions to
- 14:13Speaker 1: open some more restaurants. That's why you see like Ovre
- 14:17Speaker 1: on sixtieth Street, that became a big hotspot. Next thing
- 14:21Speaker 1: you know, there's an Ova on fiftieth Street. Next thing
- 14:23Speaker 1: you know, there's an avraa over here. Next thing you know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: there's one in Beverly Hills, there's one in Miami. But
- 14:27Speaker 1: this phenomenon is spreading everywhere, and it's not good. Everything
- 14:32Speaker 1: is becoming a chain now. For instance, Sally's Pizza New Haven.
- 14:39Speaker 1: There's Frank Peppi's, Sally's. These were like the two. You
- 14:43Speaker 1: drive to New Haven just to have these pizzas. Everybody's
- 14:46Speaker 1: saying are the best in the world. Well, next thing,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, Frank Peppy's opening everywhere everywhere. There's one in
- 14:52Speaker 1: the Fairfield, there's one in Stanford, there's one here, there's
- 14:56Speaker 1: one in Yonkers, there's one. They're all over the place.
- 14:58Speaker 1: There's a couple of them in flor They're in Nashville,
- 15:01Speaker 1: they're now. The other one is Sally. Sally's just announced
- 15:04Speaker 1: they're opening two one hundred and fifty of them, two
- 15:08Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty of them. Now, the problem is
- 15:10Speaker 1: everybody would go to New Haven because it was such
- 15:12Speaker 1: phenomenal pizza. When you open two hundred and fifty of them,
- 15:16Speaker 1: you're not gonna have the same pizza everywhere. It's not possible.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It doesn't work. And they're all doing this, you know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: in Queens and Utopia Boulevard for a million years. Utopia Bagels.
- 15:28Speaker 1: They were always the best bagels in York. People would
- 15:30Speaker 1: drive out there just to go to Utopia Begels. They
- 15:33Speaker 1: were so amazing. Then they opened one in Manhattan, and
- 15:37Speaker 1: it's always the same story. It's not as good as
- 15:40Speaker 1: the original. Now there's four in New York City. Now
- 15:43Speaker 1: they're opening all over. Now there's going to be one
- 15:44Speaker 1: in London. They're opening here, they're opening. They've got to
- 15:47Speaker 1: stop this stuff. These are like our finest food things,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and they're all becoming franchises. Now. McDonald's can figure out
- 15:55Speaker 1: how to do it, but these people can't. It doesn't work.
- 15:59Speaker 1: It's diluting the whole thing. Even the top restaurants of
- 16:01Speaker 1: the world that John George, Danielle all these guys. Now
- 16:05Speaker 1: instead of one restaurant, they got seventy five, and they're
- 16:08Speaker 1: not the same quality. You can't you can't have seventy
- 16:12Speaker 1: five be the same quality. It's got to stop. Hey,
- 16:14Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 16:17Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 16:21Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Seven ten double or wants to help you pay off
- 16:27Speaker 6: those holiday bills with one thousand dollars at five past
- 16:30Speaker 6: every hour from nine oh five am till five oh
- 16:33Speaker 6: five p m. Long chances every weekday. The score a
- 16:38Speaker 6: grand starting Monday on seven ten double R.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Hey, we all remember a great teacher who really made
- 16:45Speaker 1: a difference, who believed in you and really changed your life. Well,
- 16:48Speaker 1: now's a chance to say thank you to one of
- 16:49Speaker 1: those sort of teachers. It's Iheartradios Thank a Teacher, powered
- 16:53Speaker 1: by donors choose nominating outstanding public school teacher who's gone
- 16:57Speaker 1: above and beyond for their students and win five thousand
- 17:01Speaker 1: dollars to stock their classroom with whatever they need. Today's
- 17:04Speaker 1: teacher of the day is Angelica Kenzaneri. Teaches at NYC
- 17:09Speaker 1: Business of Sports School, and a lot of people told
- 17:12Speaker 1: us she's an extraordinary art teacher brings creativity and confidence
- 17:16Speaker 1: to each student. So help us say thank you to
- 17:19Speaker 1: a great educator. Nominate your favorite teacher right now at
- 17:23Speaker 1: iHeartRadio dot com slash teachers Steve. How you doing all right?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Hey?
- 17:28Speaker 7: Mark? You remember Nancy Pelosi got caught on an open
- 17:32Speaker 7: mic in the backseat of her car talking to her daughter,
- 17:36Speaker 7: and in that conversation, she Pelosi took the blame for
- 17:41Speaker 7: not having the National Guard.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she turned down the ten thousand troops. And in
- 17:46Speaker 1: that documentary her daughter was doing the car in the
- 17:49Speaker 1: car the camera was running. She said, this is all
- 17:51Speaker 1: my fault. I should have taken the troops. So very good.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Well what do you do down there in Tennessee, Steve.
- 17:56Speaker 7: I'm retired?
- 17:57Speaker 1: No, And what do you do all day?
- 18:01Speaker 7: I just listened to you and everybody else on top radio?
- 18:05Speaker 7: That's my What's what I do all day? All kind
- 18:07Speaker 7: of programs.
- 18:08Speaker 1: All right, that's a good occupation. I like that. That
- 18:11Speaker 1: makes you a very smart person down there. Just hey,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I did that on vacation for a couple of days.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Just listen to talk radio all day, y'all learn a lot.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark. We're talking about January sixth to one
- 18:26Speaker 8: person when not talking about his Ashley Babbitt. Yeah, the
- 18:30Speaker 8: old person that killed her was still working. In fact,
- 18:33Speaker 8: was promoted and subsequent to a desk. She was not
- 18:36Speaker 8: a quoted any military arned.
- 18:37Speaker 4: I know.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It's a it's a very important thing. Ashley Babbitt was
- 18:40Speaker 1: murdered in cold blood by a Capitol Hill policeman she's
- 18:45Speaker 1: one of the protesters January sixth, but she's a military
- 18:48Speaker 1: veteran war hero, she's a protester. But they were coming
- 18:53Speaker 1: in through the window. She's coming through and that officer
- 18:56Speaker 1: takes out his gun and just shoots her, just shoots
- 18:58Speaker 1: her in cold blood. And he's still there. A lot
- 19:01Speaker 1: of people are talking to the present about this. Something
- 19:03Speaker 1: should be done to this guy, at least fire him,
- 19:05Speaker 1: get him off the Capitol Hill Police. But a lot
- 19:07Speaker 1: of people in Congress have been defending this guy. Now
- 19:10Speaker 1: one reason, and this guy has a history of very
- 19:14Speaker 1: reckless behavior with his gun. It was an incident once
- 19:17Speaker 1: at his house where he just started firing at cars.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I mean, he should be removed. But a lot of
- 19:24Speaker 1: people in Congress, big Congress people are afraid to go
- 19:27Speaker 1: after anybody in the Capitol Hill Police because they're the
- 19:32Speaker 1: Capitol Hill Police. They've seen a lot, they know a
- 19:34Speaker 1: lot of secrets about these guys. So nobody wants to
- 19:38Speaker 1: get them on the you know, against them because they
- 19:41Speaker 1: know a lot of stuff. Let's go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt,
- 19:45Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Mark Simone, how are you Sarah? Welcome back? Hey, that
- 19:49Speaker 2: police officer, sure that you were just talking about he
- 19:51Speaker 2: should be he should be in jail on this midterms,
- 19:54Speaker 2: the mid trust coming up. There are in DC. Should
- 19:57Speaker 2: hire Trump's on Baron and all his friends and get
- 20:03Speaker 2: all these videos of all these democrats Ellen in Trump
- 20:07Speaker 2: didn't take out MDUA the first year.
- 20:08Speaker 1: It's already there. It's been there for the whole week.
- 20:12Speaker 1: It's already there. But it's already I don't mean to
- 20:15Speaker 1: confuse you with reality. It's already there. It's been all
- 20:18Speaker 1: over Twitter since Saturday. It's all over Twitter. The White
- 20:21Speaker 1: House has already put it out.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Uh.
- 20:23Speaker 1: In fact, if you go to any White House site,
- 20:25Speaker 1: Trump's site, all that videos up there, Schumer demanding we
- 20:28Speaker 1: get rid of Maduro, of Chris Murphy doing it. The
- 20:31Speaker 1: video is already all over the place and has been
- 20:33Speaker 1: for days. Let's go to Bill in Hackensack, Bill, how
- 20:36Speaker 1: you doing good? Thank you?
- 20:38Speaker 2: Mark.
- 20:39Speaker 9: By the way, the one name the Democrats will never mention,
- 20:44Speaker 9: aside from Tampon Tim Wolfs, is Ashley Babbitt. And thank
- 20:48Speaker 9: you for mentioning her name. That innocent woman who was
- 20:53Speaker 9: five foot four Air Force veteran Ashley Babbitt gunned down murdered, Yes.
- 20:59Speaker 1: By that awful Capitol hillcop who should be and a
- 21:02Speaker 1: lot of people are talking to the President constantly about
- 21:05Speaker 1: going after this guy, finally getting some justice for Ashley Babbott.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Let's go to Mike in New Jersey. Mike, how you doing?
- 21:12Speaker 10: Yeah, Hi, Mark, I enjoy your show.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 21:14Speaker 10: My good question. The Affordable Care Act. My son is
- 21:16Speaker 10: being hammered his premiums of Skyrocket and we just don't
- 21:21Speaker 10: know what to do his coverage. Obviously he can't afford.
- 21:24Speaker 10: There's no subsidies anymore. Is there anything you can suggest,
- 21:27Speaker 10: as Trump have anything in the works? Well, Congress doing anything?
- 21:30Speaker 1: That's the problem. This will all come up at the
- 21:32Speaker 1: end of the month when they'll have to vote to
- 21:33Speaker 1: continue the subsidies. It's over that issue that the government
- 21:36Speaker 1: shut down. Happened last time. It could happen again. I
- 21:40Speaker 1: would imagine in the end, because you've got midterms coming up,
- 21:43Speaker 1: the President will sort of agree to continue that subsidy
- 21:46Speaker 1: for a while. His plan is much better instead of
- 21:49Speaker 1: the constant subsidizing this Unaffordable Care Act is fix it,
- 21:54Speaker 1: fix it. A lot of that'll be privatizing, and the
- 21:57Speaker 1: whole system is totally government corrupt you know, which means
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know, you get an MRI, they charge you three
- 22:04Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars for it. Meantime, there's another person getting
- 22:08Speaker 1: an MRI somewhere else where. It's eight hundred dollars. It's
- 22:10Speaker 1: all of these ridiculous finaggling. The problem to the Affordable
- 22:15Speaker 1: Care Act. It was just a gift to insurance agencies
- 22:17Speaker 1: to charge whatever the hell they want to charge. It
- 22:20Speaker 1: needs to be cleaned up. So they'll probably have to
- 22:22Speaker 1: extend the subsidies for the rest of this year while
- 22:25Speaker 1: they figure out how to fix this Affordable Care Act. Hey,
- 22:28Speaker 1: when we come back and culter, we'll be with us
- 22:31Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor the follow her on substack,
- 22:35Speaker 1: where she's got just columns and videos and podcasts, interviews,
- 22:39Speaker 1: all sorts of stuff, a lot of content and culture
- 22:41Speaker 1: dot substack dot com and culture.
- 22:45Speaker 11: How you doing fantastic? How are you mark? Some IM
- 22:48Speaker 11: miss talking to you the last couple week.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but what a first week of twenty twenty six.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Look at all that's happened in one week. You got
- 22:55Speaker 1: rid of Tim Waltz, Maduro everything. What do you think
- 22:59Speaker 1: I know?
- 22:59Speaker 11: Yeah, I'll not letting the grass grow under his seat.
- 23:02Speaker 11: We have a short amount of time. I think it's fantastic.
- 23:05Speaker 11: I have a column coming out on it later. I
- 23:07Speaker 11: want to go back to the era of a semi
- 23:12Speaker 11: competent CIA, which we haven't had recently but may have now,
- 23:16Speaker 11: installing puppet governments throughout Latin America. They're obviously incapable of
- 23:21Speaker 11: governing themselves. And things were going great when the CIA
- 23:26Speaker 11: and the State Department and John Foster Dulles were running things,
- 23:29Speaker 11: knocking out the incompetence, I mean, the problem. George Kennon,
- 23:35Speaker 11: the legendary diplomat, went took a tour through Latin America,
- 23:40Speaker 11: knowing the strategic importance to the US, and basically concluded,
- 23:44Speaker 11: these people are incapable of governing themselves. We should take
- 23:47Speaker 11: all measures. This is this is, this will be a
- 23:49Speaker 11: problem for the US. We shouldn't worry about democratic niceties
- 23:55Speaker 11: that we would not accept in this country. And and
- 23:58Speaker 11: that was followed up until liberals got the idea that's,
- 24:02Speaker 11: oh no, they're just as good at self governance as
- 24:05Speaker 11: we are. Well, obviously they aren't. Over and over again
- 24:08Speaker 11: you get the same pattern. I mean Venezuela, for example,
- 24:11Speaker 11: which I've written about a few times it was the people,
- 24:15Speaker 11: i e. Peasants who keep voting for these communists who
- 24:21Speaker 11: promise to steal from the rich and give them all
- 24:24Speaker 11: their money, which they proceed to do, and then the
- 24:26Speaker 11: country is out of money. They can't get loyal out
- 24:28Speaker 11: of the ground. No, there has to be a paternalistic
- 24:32Speaker 11: relationship to between the United States and Latin America. And
- 24:37Speaker 11: it's weird that the media is acting as if we
- 24:40Speaker 11: have no idea what this means to install that will
- 24:44Speaker 11: be running things. No, no boots on the ground, no
- 24:47Speaker 11: nation building. We just have our own, our own US
- 24:53Speaker 11: backed ruler to save the people from themselves.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but who are we to comple ain't about their governing.
- 25:01Speaker 1: We just elected Kathy Hockel and Mom Donnie, so who
- 25:04Speaker 1: are we to talk?
- 25:05Speaker 11: Yes, well, New York should sit this one out.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And Mom Donnie just put this woman in charge of housing.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And apparently one time she said home ownership is white
- 25:18Speaker 1: supremacy and we must see a.
- 25:21Speaker 11: Private press read in the New York She owns a
- 25:25Speaker 11: one point seven million dollar home in Tennessee. So at
- 25:30Speaker 11: least there's no hypocrisy from the left. No, not ever,
- 25:34Speaker 11: But wow, that is this is This is not going
- 25:36Speaker 11: to be good for housing in New York. It probably,
- 25:40Speaker 11: As we've discussed before, these rent control measures just invariably
- 25:45Speaker 11: drive up the price of housing and limit the supply.
- 25:49Speaker 11: As you have landlords who were forced to just walk
- 25:53Speaker 11: away from their properties when the taxes and maintenance fees
- 25:58Speaker 11: are more than what they are allowed to charge in
- 26:00Speaker 11: rent by law. I mean, how long are they supposed
- 26:05Speaker 11: to keep losing money every month? They just walk away
- 26:08Speaker 11: and there goes there goes more housing.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, don't you feel bad for the left wing,
- 26:14Speaker 1: the Democrats right now? These liberals, because remember they had
- 26:17Speaker 1: to all go out and buy Ukrainian flags. Then they
- 26:19Speaker 1: had to go buy Hamas flags. Then they had to
- 26:22Speaker 1: buy Mexican flags. Then they had to get Somali flags.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Now they got to go get Venezuelan flags. It's rough.
- 26:30Speaker 11: I prefer it to. I love when they have these
- 26:33Speaker 11: leftist protests and you know they'll have one sharp George
- 26:38Speaker 11: Soros type instructing them all go buy an American flag.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Yeah, for Republican it's easy. Just buy one American flag
- 26:48Speaker 1: you except for life, That's all you need.
- 26:50Speaker 11: They probably have their American flags if they're Republicans.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And what about Tim Waltz. Is that the silliest guy
- 26:57Speaker 1: you've ever seen? Did you ever think it would be
- 26:59Speaker 1: over this fast for him?
- 27:02Speaker 11: Not totally surprised. Man, he was a boob from the
- 27:06Speaker 11: moment he showed up. Uh, it's it's it's a maybe.
- 27:13Speaker 11: It teams a bit annoying that. I mean, you did
- 27:16Speaker 11: almost become the vice president of the United States. All
- 27:19Speaker 11: of this was known when he was running. There were
- 27:23Speaker 11: there were surprisingly enough liberal administrators of these government programs,
- 27:28Speaker 11: well you know, regular Minnesotans who were trying to be
- 27:32Speaker 11: whistleblowers and being retaliated against out of Minnesota. This was
- 27:36Speaker 11: a story there for the taking, I guess. I guess
- 27:40Speaker 11: you and I read about it and and and talked
- 27:43Speaker 11: about it a little bit. It was showing up on
- 27:46Speaker 11: Twitter and in conservative publications like Breitbart, not in the
- 27:51Speaker 11: detail we have now. But when was the mainstream media
- 27:55Speaker 11: going to get around to covering this about the possible
- 27:58Speaker 11: next vice president of the United States.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I think never was the date they had picked. But hey,
- 28:05Speaker 1: the other thing I'm watching every left wing fake news
- 28:09Speaker 1: they're all keep saying about Venezuela's a violation of international law.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Nobody can figure out where the hell is this international
- 28:16Speaker 1: law they're talking about? Where does that exist?
- 28:18Speaker 11: There is no law in the imaginations of small children
- 28:23Speaker 11: and liberals like Santa Claus on the Easter Bunny. There
- 28:26Speaker 11: is no such thing as international law, international laws. Whatever
- 28:30Speaker 11: the United States says international law is so yes, it
- 28:34Speaker 11: is hilarious when liberals go around wailing about the violations
- 28:40Speaker 11: of something that doesn't exist.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yet.
- 28:42Speaker 11: Tell us what?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Tell us what?
- 28:43Speaker 11: Santa Claus says?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Next?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so what are we gonna do here in New
- 28:47Speaker 1: York with Mom Donnie? You know this is going to
- 28:48Speaker 1: get out of control.
- 28:55Speaker 11: I'm looking good so far. I mean, I mean there
- 28:58Speaker 11: was I had some I don't know, it's hope or
- 29:01Speaker 11: if it just seems kind of logical that he doesn't
- 29:07Speaker 11: seem like a like a half wit the way Tim
- 29:10Speaker 11: Waltz does, so I kind of. I mean, when he
- 29:13Speaker 11: decided to keep and announce before the election that he
- 29:16Speaker 11: was going to keep the police Commissioner Jessica Tish, I thought, okay, well,
- 29:20Speaker 11: he does at least know his entire mayoralty will go
- 29:24Speaker 11: to hell if he unleashes criminals on the citizenry. And
- 29:30Speaker 11: I thought maybe it would be a lot of left
- 29:32Speaker 11: wing talk, but he would maintain, you know, just to
- 29:36Speaker 11: satisfy his it's not particularly astute base, but then actually
- 29:43Speaker 11: do a decent job running the city. No, it does
- 29:46Speaker 11: not look like that at all, Mark Simone. He seems
- 29:50Speaker 11: to really believe he's going to put all these DEI
- 29:55Speaker 11: and left incompetence in important government positions and know that
- 30:00Speaker 11: it really does not bode well.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Well, but it's just the third term of Deblasio. All
- 30:05Speaker 1: these same people were in the Deblasio administration. It was bad,
- 30:08Speaker 1: but we got through it. So we'll get through this,
- 30:10Speaker 1: won't we.
- 30:12Speaker 11: Well, it is New York City, and New York City
- 30:14Speaker 11: it's a hard city to wreck. And all I can
- 30:17Speaker 11: say is that's what we thought for many years about
- 30:21Speaker 11: the most beautiful state in the Union, in California. But
- 30:25Speaker 11: you know, let Democrats put their minds to it, they
- 30:28Speaker 11: can wreck anything.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So you know, they always love this socialism and you
- 30:32Speaker 1: could point out it's never worked anywhere in the world
- 30:34Speaker 1: the last ten thousand times it failed, But don't they
- 30:37Speaker 1: also ever noticed it? Whenever they do these big programs,
- 30:41Speaker 1: billions of dollars go missing. Deblasio lost a billion dollars
- 30:44Speaker 1: in that fake program. We just saw eighteen billion go
- 30:47Speaker 1: missing in Minnesota. Don't they ever notice all the money
- 30:50Speaker 1: goes missing?
- 30:52Speaker 11: Hilariously, I was just looking. I was just on Twitter
- 30:55Speaker 11: before calling you in to my friend Mickey Cows and
- 30:59Speaker 11: tweeted out some thing about this Minnesota fraud, and his
- 31:02Speaker 11: very left wing brother tweeted back at him, saying, you know,
- 31:05Speaker 11: this is the fault of conservatives that this program had
- 31:08Speaker 11: been I've been government run, we never would have had
- 31:13Speaker 11: this fraud. This is simultaneously with two hundred billion being
- 31:19Speaker 11: stolen from the COVID relief funds.
- 31:24Speaker 1: No, it's just it's just off. Hey year old buddy
- 31:27Speaker 1: George Conway is coming to New York. He didn't live here,
- 31:29Speaker 1: but he's running for Jerry Nadler's congressional seat. Do you
- 31:32Speaker 1: think he has any chance?
- 31:36Speaker 11: Well, it elected Jerry Nadler. I can't say I really
- 31:42Speaker 11: have my finger on the pulse of those voters. I
- 31:47Speaker 11: don't know. It's very very strange. George and I, weirdly enough,
- 31:51Speaker 11: were best friends for a long time. I introduced him
- 31:54Speaker 11: to his wife. There was no daylight between our positions.
- 31:58Speaker 11: And I don't know a lot of people. Trump just
- 32:00Speaker 11: just broken.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. There are people that just I was
- 32:03Speaker 1: when Trump came along, they just went off the deep end.
- 32:06Speaker 1: There's a bunch of them.
- 32:08Speaker 11: But straight, he's not the only one of my friends.
- 32:11Speaker 11: And it's one thing. I mean, you know, I have
- 32:13Speaker 11: my my complaints with Trump. There's a lot to complain
- 32:18Speaker 11: about there. But when you have people who have been
- 32:22Speaker 11: had certain a certain and like I said, George is
- 32:25Speaker 11: the only one a certain worldview, you know, anti crime
- 32:30Speaker 11: for example, anti public violence, anti communism, and just because
- 32:37Speaker 11: I don't know, they don't like Trump again, lots to
- 32:41Speaker 11: dislike there. They suddenly slip on every single position they've
- 32:47Speaker 11: ever held, believed, argued, written about. It's a very strange phenomenon.
- 32:54Speaker 11: And I've seen it, I'd say a handful of times.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, and Culter grew great talking to you. I
- 33:00Speaker 1: had your back and everybody check out her Twitter and
- 33:04Speaker 1: make sure you sign up at substack and get her
- 33:06Speaker 1: new column. You can get interviews, podcasts, everything and culture
- 33:09Speaker 1: dot substack dot com and culture. Thanks for being with us.
- 33:14Speaker 11: Good to talk you, Mark Simone by all right, take care.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I don't forget Buck and Clay Boy. I love their show.
- 33:20Speaker 1: It's every day noon to three and it's coming up
- 33:22Speaker 1: right after the news on seven to ten WR. There's
- 33:26Speaker 1: no such thing as international law. When they say Trump
- 33:29Speaker 1: is violated international law. So if you went to any
- 33:32Speaker 1: left wing kook and you tried to justify that comment,
- 33:34Speaker 1: all they can point to is, well, some countries have
- 33:38Speaker 1: treaties and agreements with each other, okay, but that's not
- 33:41Speaker 1: international law. And there is the United Nations a charter,
- 33:46Speaker 1: but they have no authority over anything. There's a couple
- 33:48Speaker 1: of international courts, but nobody recognizes and they have no
- 33:53Speaker 1: jurisdiction or authority over anything. There is no international law
- 33:57Speaker 1: to violate. Hey, we're out of time. I'll be back
- 33:59Speaker 1: to tomorrow. I'm here every weekday ten to noon. And uh,
- 34:04Speaker 1: if you can't listen ten to noon, get the podcast.
- 34:06Speaker 1: That way, you can listen anytime you want, day or night,
- 34:09Speaker 1: wherever you get podcasts. I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for everything.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Seven ten wor
