- 6:58[SPEAKER_13]: the rain out there today, but spring-like weather is we've creeped up into the sixties.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_13]: Looks pretty good, right through the weekend on the rain, but a tape roll, you know, we're supposed to get rain and then next Monday and Tuesday a little colder and then warm again.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_13]: So I know, I know, we got a photo snow on, mother, I prepared for that, prepared for
- 7:22[SPEAKER_13]: What's going on in the news today?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I just heard on Dr. Edel seven news, the school budget for the city is coming out tonight, but it'd be proposed, unveiled, inflicted, and it will surely increase taxes.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_13]: And one of the things you're going to hear, and is, well, these electric bills
- 7:53[SPEAKER_13]: They're affecting all of his body, Dr. You want to be called, Dr. Oh, Dr. Make sure there's no tax increase.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_13]: The peeps can't afford it.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_13]: You've got to 4% raise this year and you can't deny it.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_13]: I like that old story from any Burgess or something about
- 8:18[SPEAKER_13]: years ago when the newspaper owned the key v-station and the radio station, apparently everybody got everybody got these frozen turkeys, that was their Christmas bonus, a frozen turkey.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_13]: I remember that when I was there, because I sold mine for five bucks to Danny Hall, but that was the Christmas bonus of kind of like out of a Dickens novel.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_13]: So one, apparently,
- 8:44[SPEAKER_13]: Mrs. Johnson, Elder Johnson, the late Mrs. Johnson, got a new Thunderbird around that time of year.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_13]: I think it was Danny went on the air and said, Mrs. Johnson got the Thunder and we got the Bird.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_13]: What that story had to do with the school district?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know, but we can't afford it anymore.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_13]: When people like me are gone, who's going to tell those stories?
- 9:11[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, it's all going to be lost, into the ether, there you go.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_13]: Um, okay, can you imagine that a frozen turkey?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_13]: No, that's what companies used to do.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if people get Christmas bonuses anymore, I don't know how that works.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I guess it's news, but it's the people to the people care.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_13]: No, I mean, honestly, they don't, if you're well, they're in there anyway.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_13]: Here's somebody who texts me, and I got a frozen turkey for Christmas, and I worked at the times, yeah.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_13]: Now they can't even give you the frozen turkey.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, let's see, what's going on here?
- 10:07[SPEAKER_13]: We've got the, uh,
- 10:11[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I sent a text message to all the council members today.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_13]: Basically, suggesting respectfully that somebody take a look at that corner up on East Made in Pearl.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_13]: We had the incident Friday, and there were a lot of people say, well, no, you're just trying to get attention to them.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_13]: But.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_13]: that was horrendously serious that incident he wants to go with a car sliding down the sidebar sideways the power poles that have been severed the planters run into the uh... to fast cars coming over the hill mix in a few
- 10:52[SPEAKER_13]: electric bikes and people in wheelchairs who don't want to use a sidewalk even on the sidewalks and fine.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_13]: And you have a hazard of situation.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_13]: Now I'm suggesting the city put like a guardrail on that area on the corner lot where the welcome side is on the Pearl Street side so they can't penetrate that.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't know.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_13]: I don't.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_13]: You can't put them in the right of way.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_13]: But I wouldn't mind a couple jersey barriers right in the right away in front of me.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_13]: Keep this stuff from going on.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_13]: I don't mind putting some money into it, too.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_13]: I think I'm going to go over to Jefferson Concreate today or tomorrow and look at some options.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_13]: As you would think after you have these kinds of accidents, you, somebody would do a traffic study, but I don't see nobody lives here.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_13]: If they've ever batted on Pearl Street or East Main, it was a long time ago, and they probably have never been there.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_13]: So... And there's probably other bad intersections.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_13]: And if there are, they should be addressed.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you say, put a traffic light in, we got a traffic light, I'm doing it good.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody complained to me today about bags on hydrants, meaning they're out of order, fire hydrants.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_13]: One lady, I mean, even wrote a letter to the third floor, was told, well, look into it and they never did.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you say that once the big deal, they can go to another hydrant.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_13]: If it's you, then your house and your family, you take it more personally, where there ever be a bag on a hydrant on a ivory street or a lumestrive, I'm kind of thinking.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_13]: I see at least the funnick was on the CBS morning program today that made it news that means they may it was put on the new news today as it was on their own channel.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_13]: She's out pushing her to pork poison to ivies about leftism on college campuses go buy it and get an Amazon or oh there's no bookstores anymore that's too bad that's too bit.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, she'll be on the book tour.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_13]: Good for her.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_13]: Anybody heard who's running for governor against governor.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_13]: Hopefully, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
- 13:42[SPEAKER_13]: blow him out of the water, yeah, you can board the ship.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_13]: But, I don't know.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_13]: Clearly, the fact that we're doing this came up with this scheme means that there was not a real definitive plan for anything to begin with.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_13]: When BB told us to go to war.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_17]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_17]: If you want to go to stickermail.com forward slash trending swag, and you can get one.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_13]: I'm Stick Rubio, a lot's are good for an Anthony.

- 15:03[SPEAKER_17]: Well, I don't know if it just came out.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know if there's any sales yet.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_17]: but that's the store that's on the Spectre Real website.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_13]: Well, they got a lot of different things on there.

- 15:23[SPEAKER_13]: If you're a Democrat, he'll sell you stickers too.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks, sir.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_13]: Which brings me to another famous junkie the North country's window on the world is doing one of the famous straw poles.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, more famous than the Des Moines Register poll.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I realize it'll allow us anyone to vote between Constantino and Smullin for the Republican nomination to succeed.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_13]: Our good friend, Elise Stefaniac, when is she endorsing somebody?
- 15:59[SPEAKER_13]: They won't do it, but when she's not one of these interviews, somebody should ask her.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, so you're getting out of Congress.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_13]: What's going to succeed you?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_13]: Who are you supporting?
- 16:10[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, that's the question I asked.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_13]: That's probably why I didn't get an interview whether about her book.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_13]: Because I'm sure anyone wants to answer that question.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_13]: I think in the privacy of the voting kiosk, which is not a booth anymore.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_13]: It's a kiosk.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_13]: I think she'll probably roll for Constantine, you know.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_13]: I'm just thinking so because I don't think, um, oh, let's see what we've got going on.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_13]: What else?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody sent me a picture of a house on fire and I sure what they meant to it.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_13]: There were hydrants, well that can happen.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_13]: Anyone else remember the frozen turkeys from the times?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_13]: See, when I was working hours young, I'd obviously wouldn't, wouldn't, and still don't know how to cook a turkey.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_13]: When there's so many other people willing to do it, but I think I sold it.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_13]: One of the photographers, Danny Hall, from Brownville, even though I think I sold it to him for five bucks.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_13]: Which was a lot of money back then.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_13]: Nothing wrong with that.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody else gets a little more turkey.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_13]: It's the pole.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_13]: You can see it right there on highlighted on news junkie.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_13]: Let's see what it was running here.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_13]: I voted that.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_13]: I think I voted a little bit there.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_13]: You can only vote once per computer, so.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_13]: It's now a 55-44 small one.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_13]: uh... earlier was seventy thirty-concentino i think you got a way to few days let settle in you know yes every some people who have a vote multiples and some people from out of the district but i think i said as a broad barometer it can be illuminating but it can be influenced by whoever gets more of their peeps
- 18:14[SPEAKER_13]: You know, if the word goes out from the Assemblyman's office, everybody vote for me on all your devices like that kind of boost the total, same thing with the mule.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_13]: If you told everybody at that sticker factory, vote for me on every computer in the building, yeah, that would help.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_13]: But after you do it, you're on the air.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_18]: How are you doing?
- 18:34[SPEAKER_13]: Good, what's up?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_18]: I didn't remember the frozen turkey.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_13]: Can you remember Bob Dast?
- 18:44[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, he, uh, I had the flat, so that was my paper out for, uh, oh, the paper boy's got a turkey, too.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, we got turkeys.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_18]: Wow.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_18]: Yes, we did.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_18]: We got other stuff too.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_18]: He gave me a solid, mountain too.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_18]: Here's a pretty cool guy.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_13]: Um, never gave me.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_18]: I worked at, like, I worked at McDonald's, too.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_18]: All about state three.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_18]: That was my second job.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_13]: mm-hmm.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_13]: Well good for you.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_13]: They give you a big Mac.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_18]: They give you a big Mac.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_18]: They give you a discount on your meals.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, some I got to correct something.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_13]: It was Ward Hamilton who said that on the radio and got in trouble not Danny.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_13]: They've both passed, but I don't want to be smurched the memory of Danny could have said it.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_13]: Don't get me wrong, but he didn't.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_13]: It was Ward Hamilton.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_13]: Remember him?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_18]: you know I don't you said have a ukulele need sing those songs down david and dry for waters on saving spank no i i don't remember him deep you were talking about uh... getting some barriers for your body yeah i don't know um... you should you should buckle down but you know i mean you know get get leveled out but don't get all fearful because something happened
- 20:05[SPEAKER_13]: and all I understand that but on the other hand uh... that was so uh... scary i understand and it just keeps happening and uh... you know i mean i accept my responsibility to do something but i can't as far as that corner in that area at city property on the corner i think they should put a guardrail or put some jersey barriers up it isn't going to look that great but on the other hand
- 20:33[SPEAKER_13]: might save if it saves one life.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_18]: And it would be with the term you in times were in, you know, it's better to be cheap paid and it's better to buckle down and do what you got to do sir.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_13]: You know what I really would have loved to get or some of those concrete spheres like they haven't target for traffic control, but those are to wait to expensive.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_13]: You'd have to be a big corporation or a government agency to buy those.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_18]: uh... but uh... probably have to go with something less i'm sure like as you get a hold of greener somebody they could help you ranger and so many of them one of them guys like uh... thought or thought greener one of them guys to help you uh... so yeah early to you said one of the concrete places
- 21:27[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I got some posting rail fencing from Jefferson kind of create a few years ago, excellent stuff, and of course I got to get a bench to replace the one that was vaporized the other day, so I got to get out and see them.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, we're getting a month soon right now.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_18]: Hopefully the weather picks up, you know, so we can get out and do some gardening and some work outside that kind of way, you know.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_18]: middle of the, uh, it's really bad.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_18]: I haven't seen it raining like this around here in a while.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_13]: Well, good.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_18]: So get the power plant out.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_18]: It'll clean up all the, get rid of the riff riff off the streets.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks a lot.

- 25:21[SPEAKER_38]: Is it a cozy corner or a wagging tail?

- 26:02[SPEAKER_13]: I did go to thestickermuble.com.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_13]: One word sticker fuel.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_13]: And then in the search line, I just type time home and welcome here.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_13]: And there it is.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, how big is this thing?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_13]: 4.4 by 5 inch.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_13]: Sticker.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_13]: They're $6 each.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_13]: you can get to do it well it's if you buy a lot of them you can get the price down way down way way down so I don't feel you know by five stickers and save 36% but you can buy 100 stickers and save 72% so
- 26:46[SPEAKER_13]: There definitely is a quote, but for one sticker, it's say, I would say this every business in Sackett's Arbor should peel six bucks out of their wallet, send it to the mule and get a Tom Homan welcome here's sticker.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_13]: Send a message, don't worry about the school superintendent, worry about real people.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_13]: And that'd be my suggestion, stickermule.com, all righty, he just happens to be running for Congress too.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_13]: But after you're on the air, you mentioned, uh, word Hamilton.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_13]: Yes.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know if you worked the channel seven then he used to have his own show there.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_19]: Do you remember that?
- 27:28[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's when channel seven and the radio were one thing.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_19]: He probably once a month, maybe, uh, he used to have his own, uh, probably half hour show.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_13]: I think was John more than that.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_19]: No, him mayor.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I can, I vaguely, I remember meeting him,
- 27:45[SPEAKER_19]: But where do you use to talk about more to speak?
- 27:47[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know if he had his own band or if he had a college down there.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_13]: Well, he's a... You did a lot.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_13]: You remember there are commercials for Waters on Savings Bank?
- 27:57[SPEAKER_19]: Yes, I do, yeah.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_13]: And there was a word Hamilton show on, was a cable news ten or something?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_19]: Well, I think your show was Simon Cash on cable news ten at one time.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_19]: Do you remember that, Mayor?
- 28:08[SPEAKER_13]: This...
- 28:08[SPEAKER_13]: I'd love to see this show.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_13]: Simon Cash there.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_19]: They had a camera in the Highline Studio.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_19]: When for Channel 10 first came on the year and you were the whole cell, I don't know, that was a long time ago.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_19]: We had to came in like they saw my cast some sports shows with the guys on the radio out of New York.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, well, like I'm issues to do and all that, they still do it now.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_19]: And Glenn Gawl, remember him mayor?
- 28:32[SPEAKER_13]: Glenn Gawl, lovely man.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_19]: North country sportsman.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, yeah.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_19]: You don't have any local programming.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_19]: No.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, they used to have a children's show, they used to have Saturday night movies, they had a role.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_19]: Danny Burgess, you used to have a show Saturday morning, a kid's show.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_19]: You don't see any of that anymore now.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_19]: Maybe it's money.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know what it is.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think there's anyone there who get like your kids sit on their lap.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_13]: That's probably the problem.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_19]: But Danny Show, I'm talking probably.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_19]: 50 years ago, maybe a little longer.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_19]: So long time ago.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_13]: You know, that was back.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, yeah.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, different year-all.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_13]: Remember dialing for dollars on Channel 3 and all that stuff?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_19]: Ed Murphy, remember him there?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_19]: Ed Murphy's matinee.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, every uh one o'clock every day.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_19]: I'll let you know.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_13]: I could remember when I we lived in Rochester They had chiller theater on channel 13 late at night with a spooky movie So that was kind of theater.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, they had to weather outside with Jerry Carr remember that Yeah, a lot of things Why don't they do the weather outside in this market you've got it out doors?
- 29:39[SPEAKER_13]: They have a camera up on the roof with the overcourt street doesn't anyone you stomp stairs and go out the door and you're in
- 29:45[SPEAKER_19]: Well, tier 10 you're sexual bowling tournaments sort of weren't on baller.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_19]: High school baseball games.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_13]: Those were the days.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_19]: Black and white TV back then.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_19]: Did you see any color, but it was something local.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_19]: You don't see that kind of.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_13]: Who was the lady who ran the show on channel a lot of 10?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_13]: Bobby, something.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_13]: Bobby, he was at her, something like that.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of different time here right, Mayor.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_19]: A better time in my opinion, but Exactly.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_19]: I know.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, Mayor.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_13]: Alright, thank you.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_13]: But after you do that on the air.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_14]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_14]: I heard you're talking about you trying to protect your property and the neighborhoods by putting up the barriers and guardrails and so on.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_14]: And I certainly understand why you're thinking that way and why you need to do it.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_14]: But at the same time, I feel
- 30:41[SPEAKER_14]: bad that we have to do that to protect ourselves, to protect our neighborhoods.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_14]: I'm saying to myself, what the hell has happened to the driving public?
- 30:50[SPEAKER_14]: What driving is a driving is a vehicle on a public highway is a privilege, it's not a right.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_14]: And a lot of these people are driving around on the highway like it was their own private highway.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_14]: They have the right, they don't have a right to be there.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_14]: It's a privilege to be driving.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_14]: and for you to have to go through that time and expense and effort to protect yourself and your property and all is a sad state of affairs is to where we're going with the uh... american driving problem my god but we got to do with public buildings now they all got like things in front of the prevent terrorists i see that it's more more of the time it's beginning to look more like a military base or a war zone and uh...
- 31:36[SPEAKER_14]: It's really too bad.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_14]: What I don't have to be that, I know why it is that way, but it doesn't have to be that way.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_14]: That's the point out.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_13]: It does seem like more people driving into things.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_14]: Good luck with the resolving things there, and we'll see you on the rating.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_13]: There you go.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_13]: Really?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_13]: What do we got today?
- 31:55[SPEAKER_13]: That's the stickers.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_13]: I think that's worthwhile.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_13]: I was saying before we took those calls,
- 32:06[SPEAKER_13]: And this is StickerBuild.com.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not trying to promote Canada this season.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_13]: Mr. Smallen has a Sticker Company.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_13]: I'll mention that too.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_13]: But, you know, you can get these things and get a quantity of discount.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_13]: And all of that, and get up and ship put it on your window.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_13]: It's a good idea.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_13]: It isn't just because of time, home, as a person.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_13]: He's just one individual.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_13]: It's the concept of being welcoming and not being a jerk, like so many on the left arm.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_13]: You can't come into the red hand restaurant, ma'am.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_13]: Your family better go somewhere else.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_13]: Are excuse me?
- 32:50[SPEAKER_13]: Well, the red hand is out of business.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_13]: I think it was in one of those sharpest fellow one of those towns in Virginia.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_13]: And,
- 33:02[SPEAKER_13]: Well, she was denied service in a restaurant in Arkansas and she's the damn governor.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_13]: The governor.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_13]: Now, in this state, if the governor were denied service somewhere, she would have a variety of state agencies.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_13]: She could have descent on the restaurant.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_13]: But probably not the kitten.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think there are occupies that type of person.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what do we got from some of these texting us?
- 33:33[SPEAKER_13]: Um... Let's read some of the comments.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_13]: Apparently back in the old days the UAW and General Motors machine had back when there were such things.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_13]: Gave out thousands of turkeys.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_13]: And this guy got big time over time to distribute them after all three shifts, God bless America.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, Mayor, we all know what you're up to.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody said harblar was 20 harblar and had a show in the radio with there was a Bobby Lehi who had a show I think outside name on a cable channel 10 remember on channel 10 they had the weather statistics and they had all the dial temperature humidity and and a camera scan the back and forth on them I could watch that for hours and it was like watching the
- 34:31[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, let's see, Sandy out there.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_13]: Well, not much else going on, really.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_13]: As I know of.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_13]: So I have some more text messages.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_13]: Well, someone wants to know, is the corner of my building structurally sound, yes it is.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_13]: City official inspector didn't have ready.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_13]: Now, let us forget your own, I'm here for messages.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_11]: Here it is, here.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody pointed out other shows Rod and Reel and Cabin Country on Channel 16, don't have
- 35:38[SPEAKER_15]: public eye when the truck and I did I'm pretty good show news magazine yeah golden days of broadcasting in water town or I don't know after doing you're on the air hey good afternoon the duff yeah you know uh the other thing about that when the cable vision used to run that uh they uh they uh they used to play the FM radio and a lot of people didn't get that
- 36:08[SPEAKER_15]: I think it was at a fold in their songs.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_15]: It was the first introduction I think of that summer radio order.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_13]: I remember moving here in my parents from Rochester.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_13]: Of course, we had the four network stations, the three-net major nets and people of the television.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_13]: But we had cable here, and you could watch, you got WOR, WPI actually had, you know, two, three-thirty, and it wasn't a lot of channels, but boy, that was something.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, but what we've got more stations than they did in New York City, yeah, we've got more stations and But unless they're messed up to watch exactly Yeah, you think it's bad up there down here, every station's in Spanish too, so you know you're going on forever I'm trying to find something and you know, of course here You're just talking to the thing and just say what you want to watch and it comes up
- 37:06[SPEAKER_15]: no.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_11]: If we could, I would.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I area, I area, yeah, extend of these a little different than spectrums.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_13]: Who do you have for cable?
- 37:19[SPEAKER_15]: Extendity.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_13]: Errder.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, they're big down here.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_15]: Timecast and extended the other big ones down here.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_13]: Well, whatever, it's Florida, you know, you and Sean, you and Sean,
- 37:35[SPEAKER_15]: You don't watch a lot of TV anywhere when you're here and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there and there
- 38:05[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you know, you know, a lot of people think, uh, because I was crazy for a couple of months.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_13]: I don't have any cognition, but I'm pretty sharp.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_15]: Well, you missed a year.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_13]: I miss this.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_13]: I miss the sale of the golf course, basically.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_13]: Not sure what are wanted to be conscious for that.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, if who knows, somebody turned out different had you been.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_15]: Some common sense might have been confused.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_15]: you know all the excuses they used to buy that and then what did they get a pickin' a poke yeah what we've been we always wanted that parkland we envisioned it or they always wanted a restaurant i could least for a dollar a year yeah yeah right right they were something i don't know it's a beautiful park you know it's really a beautiful area uh...
- 39:01[SPEAKER_15]: You know, just to go out there.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_13]: Well, all right, you follow all this garbage.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_13]: You know about Ives and obviously Jake bought the other nine holes.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, he's got to get him back and in shape.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_13]: But obviously, I assume the attention is to open those nine up again.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know how enforceable these deed restrictions are and all that.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_13]: What are they going to do to you?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_15]: You know?
- 39:25[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_15]: You sure he doesn't bother.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_15]: He isn't going to put housing up there?
- 39:29[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_13]: taking a court spent more money and out of town offers I already had a taste of that stuff this year so uh... no no i i don't know what they're going to but anyway what do you do with the park i mean basically when did they make the decision i guess if they you know adopting this budget that doesn't have numbers in it for next spring does not mean you're committed to closing the park
- 40:00[SPEAKER_13]: You know, that would have to really, I think, be a separate resolution, because just saying that there's nothing in the budget, there was nothing in the budget for a $10,000 door on the third floor of city hall, but they bought it.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_13]: So it doesn't matter whether it's in the budget or not.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_13]: They could still have it open.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_13]: And revise the budget.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_15]: Now, so they might as well, unless it requires more investment, which it does,
- 40:27[SPEAKER_15]: The building is in top shade there are the rest trying to stop.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_15]: I guess when what they were saying And there's other major improvements they have to do so I don't know you know Yeah, there's a lot more fist-of-fry.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_15]: I mean
- 40:42[SPEAKER_15]: The golf course is just a minor thing now when you look at you tell the rates up there and all that kind of see what you guys out in the town do I see you have you missed out on $200,000 chips funding for highways because you didn't file a pay I haven't been there so I don't know much.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_13]: I was in surprise when I read that the other day a new shark didn't Joe was down there Yeah, who they gonna put in there he obviously obviously he got out
- 41:10[SPEAKER_13]: before the election.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_13]: So they, the rest of the board can appoint to it.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_13]: That means it's already been decided.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe Don Koon decided or whoever decides those things.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_13]: But is it going to be Bob's?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_13]: Slies?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_13]: Is it going to be Mrs. McClusky?
- 41:25[SPEAKER_13]: Or is it going to be some other person?
- 41:31[SPEAKER_13]: You guess he's going to smile.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_13]: I think the office is up on the ballot this year.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what they're going to do.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_13]: I should call that nice lady at the border elections.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_13]: Find out what happens with that because it's interesting.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, I listen.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_13]: I got to call.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_13]: I got to run.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_13]: So okay.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks, stuff.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_16]: All right.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_16]: Take care.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sorry.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_13]: But, Jeff.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, what's going on here?
- 41:55[SPEAKER_16]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_16]: I'm just calling with a question.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_16]: I thought maybe you might know the answer to.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_13]: Sure.
- 42:04[UNKNOWN]: We heard that the
- 42:06[SPEAKER_16]: pool outside would not be open the season is that true.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_13]: uh... there was discussion about again i don't know what they what the policy is but they were going to have the north side pool open one year and apart for that's an alternate so they'd be one pool open every year uh... we heard they were going to start with the north side pool this this year
- 42:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, this is a summer season yeah, well, it's kind of it that may happen It doesn't seem to make sense since they didn't they just spend four million dollars to build it exactly and We all know what happens when they don't use things Well, that's what happened to the flimp pool They it fell out of repair
- 43:03[SPEAKER_13]: and they let it set dormant and the next thing you know the pool they had to replace it mm-hmm yep uh... if they're going to close anything i think they should close that arena i think that's a big money drain mm-hmm well it's tough to say i mean you've got facilities you've just got to make a go over for instance those water town wolves are leaving
- 43:28[SPEAKER_13]: And that was no great deal for City Hall.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sure the JCC hockey team is going to want to play there, but he can't just sit there and say, well, we got to give it to the kids for free.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, things have value in life.
- 43:39[UNKNOWN]: Exactly.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_13]: You go to the movies, you're paying how much you're paying to go to a movie now, 15 bucks, 20, yeah.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_13]: But then you got people say, I want to register an entire arena for $100.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's a great.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_13]: I would do.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_13]: I read it for $100 and just, you know,
- 43:55[SPEAKER_13]: go in there and sing songs to myself or so.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_13]: But you can't do it.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_13]: So, and the city's got to get a grasp of on concessions.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_13]: You can't just give everything away because you're too lazy to do anything.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_16]: Well, I think that they should rethink that full thing and think about closing something else with something at the golf course.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I don't know.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what they're going to do.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_13]: All I know is that they're going to raise taxes and there'll be no substantive changes in any of the departments that spend a lot of money.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_13]: I just hope they got enough money from guardrails for me, right?
- 44:36[UNKNOWN]: Exactly.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you, by now.

- 56:12[SPEAKER_13]: Is anybody like that?
- 56:15[SPEAKER_13]: Is there any experts in the local media on politics other than me?
- 56:23[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think so.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_13]: Just don't think so.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_11]: Um.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_11]: What do we got here?
- 56:30[SPEAKER_11]: I've got um.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_11]: You too too.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_11]: Say you're on that.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_13]: Alrighty, what else we got?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_13]: Anything else that's cooking up in the house?
- 56:46[SPEAKER_13]: It's going on over and up.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god, now Trump's attacking the Italian prime ministers, Georges Maloney, but she stood up for the Pope.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sorry.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I just like some of the things that they do down on the White House.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_13]: This Pope thing, he's absolutely crazy, God.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_13]: First of all, you don't disrespect the Pope, you just say, well, you know, his role is to, you know,
- 57:22[SPEAKER_13]: All of that come for the afflicted and the afflicted, the comfortable and all that stuff.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_13]: That's his role.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_13]: And if you get not unlike he is in the fact that Prime Minister Maloney stood up for him, she should.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_13]: And how could you say bad things about her?
- 57:41[SPEAKER_13]: Really?
- 57:43[SPEAKER_13]: He just went after, I mean it's crazy.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_13]: And then that crazy picture he made, we look like Jesus.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_13]: Holy cow, I mean, I'm sorry, I'm, I'm a, I was about a big dropper, but it's getting harder and harder to carry water for this guy.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_13]: But after doing it on here.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_06]: Good afternoon, Mayor.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_06]: I just wanted to say a comma on the Creekwood Statement.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_06]: That guy just got a present while in January, or whatever, and he had to go in the hat and when the zoo was brain and stuff like that.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know who the judge was, but good for him for seeing no bail.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, but I do understand this crazy.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_06]: It is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy, it is crazy
- 58:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but yeah, yeah, you couldn't do yard work.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, unless you certainly couldn't roll.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_13]: What do you think about Trump going after the Pope like that?
- 59:02[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I agree with him.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_06]: I believe that the Pope was wrong.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_06]: He's mentioning the stuff that is not in his bit.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: That's not their job.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, that's like having the same thing as not denouncing the Nazis.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 59:18[SPEAKER_06]: Jews make murder in all costs in this net and then he wants to, you know, I just, I don't understand how he wants to be.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_06]: He's an American pope, too.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if he's a first American pope, but he is way behind with that.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_13]: He has a white sex fan.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_13]: But anyway, yeah, I don't know.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_13]: I don't agree with it.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_13]: And I certainly don't agree with attacking the prime minister of Italy or anybody else.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_13]: knock it off, buddy.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_13]: Order some more door dash.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, that's it.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_13]: All right, that's our show for today.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_13]: What a show it's been.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_13]: This has been the hotline on the community broadcast station.

- 59:58[SPEAKER_13]: We're WATN.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_13]: We're in Watertown.
