- 3:46Speaker 1: and we'd love to hear from you.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So let's see Clarissa slash Claire. I think she called
- 3:52Speaker 2: last week. Oh okay, yeah, so she's got another like
- 3:56Speaker 2: fun question for us.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Okay, Hi, Delian Beatrice, this is your fan Clarsa or
- 4:00Speaker 3: Claire from Brussels this time. I have another question about
- 4:04Speaker 3: the Plath family, but with a Sister Wives twist. So
- 4:08Speaker 3: in a Sister Wives universe, witch members of the Plath
- 4:12Speaker 3: family would be witch members of the Sister Wives family. So,
- 4:17Speaker 3: for example, is Lydia the Early Seasons Christine of the
- 4:20Speaker 3: Ploth family? Does that make Kim Cody Brown? And who
- 4:27Speaker 3: the hell would Barry be? Is he like Mary Brown?
- 4:32Speaker 3: Posts Worthy? Up? I don't know, can't wait to hear
- 4:36Speaker 3: your opinions.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Bye, that's funny.
- 4:38Speaker 2: This one's got me thinking because I don't know.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, well, Olivia's obviously Robin, you think, so,
- 4:44Speaker 1: oh well, Olivia and Mariah both have aspects of Robin
- 4:49Speaker 1: to me, because Robin is such a cry baby. Robin
- 4:52Speaker 1: is inherently emo, I guess, and dark sighted, and so
- 4:56Speaker 1: she's like Mariah that way. But she's also very conniving,
- 5:00Speaker 1: like Olivia and an intelligent designer, not unlike Olivia.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I do agree that Lydia is probably early Seasons
- 5:09Speaker 2: Christine like totally brainwashed and like super into everything.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yes, definitely brainwashed. But Lydia strikes me as a bit
- 5:17Speaker 1: more grounded, not in reality, say, which is like in gratisation,
- 5:23Speaker 1: in her presentation. She seems more grounded to me than
- 5:26Speaker 1: Early Seasons and later seasons Christine.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Well, but she's not married to Crody Browns, So I mean.
- 5:31Speaker 1: That's true, that's true, But I mean, I guess that
- 5:33Speaker 1: would be the connection I would make. I think for
- 5:36Speaker 1: Ethan Plath, I would say Janelle really well, because I
- 5:42Speaker 1: think Janelle represses so much. I think she has a
- 5:47Speaker 1: lot of emotions inside of her. I think she's feeling
- 5:51Speaker 1: very big things. But we really don't see a lot
- 5:54Speaker 1: of that, at least in the seasons that we've been covering. Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: here in the beginning, but also toward the end, except
- 5:59Speaker 1: for maybe last season in a little bit in the
- 6:01Speaker 1: season before that, she's kind of quiet. She kind of
- 6:03Speaker 1: tucks it all down and tamps it all in. Totally.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'm seeing some Ethan and Janelle sense.
- 6:10Speaker 2: They're both tauruses. Too. Oh, that's right, Yes they are,
- 6:12Speaker 2: so that would make sense. But it is Cody Brown
- 6:14Speaker 2: then Cody. Oh, I mean gosh, I feel like Kim
- 6:17Speaker 2: Plath isn't as bad as Cody Brown. I know that's controversial,
- 6:21Speaker 2: but I feel like Cody Brown is like the worst
- 6:23Speaker 2: of the worst.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's hard to It's hard to find somebody in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the Plath family that would correlate with Cody Brown. But
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't know. Kim might be it. She's not as
- 6:33Speaker 1: charismatic to me as Cody. Yeah, but she's diabolical and
- 6:37Speaker 1: she's also a straight up malignant narcissist who is not
- 6:40Speaker 1: self aware at all like Cody Brown.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but like Kim comes from trauma. So it's like
- 6:47Speaker 2: she just needs fucking therapy and needs to stop drinking
- 6:49Speaker 2: and eating sugar.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You have, like Cody Brown also comes from trauma. If
- 6:54Speaker 1: you think about it, He's got his own culty religious trauma.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He was always vying for the attention of his father,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and I think when what I hear in the rumor mill,
- 7:06Speaker 1: like he was kind of a hard man, certainly a
- 7:09Speaker 1: hard man to please. I don't know, I mean, I'm
- 7:11Speaker 1: just I'm just not saying that he didn't have any trauma.
- 7:14Speaker 1: He probably did. Maybe, I don't know. What about Barry,
- 7:17Speaker 1: God who Barry's correlic in the Brown family. I don't know.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Savannah maybe kind robotic, she's kind of robotic, or like,
- 7:28Speaker 2: I mean, I guess McKelty, but mckelty's so annoying Michelt.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I don't know, because like Barry's kind of weird and obnoxious,
- 7:35Speaker 2: like especially in the earlier seasons, he's kind of just
- 7:38Speaker 2: like weird.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I don't see that at all, But that's interesting. I
- 7:42Speaker 1: don't know, man, I think this is a fun question. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: so if you're watching on YouTube, let us know what
- 7:47Speaker 1: your thoughts are. Who in the Plath family could fill
- 7:51Speaker 1: in in the Brown family and or visa versa.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Fun? Thank you Claire in Brussels.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Oh cool, God, we're famous. All right.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Let's get into Welcome to Platfill season six, episode.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Four, Yeah, entitled You're like a Stranger to Me? Oh
- 8:13Speaker 2: god God. So this episode was kind of light, but
- 8:17Speaker 2: not really because we only have like two major things,
- 8:20Speaker 2: Like we have the kids in Minnesota, Ethan, Mariah and Olivia,
- 8:25Speaker 2: and then we have Micah and Kim and the little
- 8:29Speaker 2: girls in floida, Right. That's basically the two segments. So
- 8:33Speaker 2: we start in Minnesota with Olivia driving for Mala back
- 8:39Speaker 2: to the apartment because she's gonna make Ethan sign the
- 8:42Speaker 2: divorce papers. And she's kind of talking about like how
- 8:45Speaker 2: she feels about it, how she's kind of waning between
- 8:49Speaker 2: frustration and feeling bad for Ethan, but not really. She
- 8:52Speaker 2: doesn't really feel bad for Ethan.
- 8:53Speaker 1: No, and she wants to get this done. It has
- 8:55Speaker 1: now been nine months since they formally separated.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:59Speaker 1: She is to move on with her hot girl Winter,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and she wants her freedom to do so. So Ethan,
- 9:07Speaker 1: You're don't have to sign those papers and you're gonna
- 9:09Speaker 1: have to divide the property. I guess she left some
- 9:11Speaker 1: things behind. She thinks Ethan can have like most of it,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but there are a few things that she would like
- 9:16Speaker 1: to take with her. I'm wondering what those things are.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Are slow curious.
- 9:22Speaker 1: The vehicles, the money in the safe. I don't know,
- 9:25Speaker 1: but we're not going to know because that's not until
- 9:27Speaker 1: next week. I guess.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I hope we get to see a lot of me too,
- 9:30Speaker 2: because I want to see them kind of fight over shit. Yeah,
- 9:32Speaker 2: I know, it's so toxic of it is. I just
- 9:35Speaker 2: want to see them fight. But she's talking about how
- 9:38Speaker 2: Ethan has been texting her like every few weeks, talking
- 9:41Speaker 2: about how he misses her and I used to loves
- 9:43Speaker 2: her and they wish they could get back together, and
- 9:46Speaker 2: she doesn't know what to do with that. She feels
- 9:48Speaker 2: bad kind of but not really because she's mad at
- 9:51Speaker 2: him for just kind of dragging his feet, which I'm like, okay,
- 9:55Speaker 2: but he's like sad he doesn't want to divorce you,
- 9:58Speaker 2: and he said no last time, but he's gonna say
- 10:00Speaker 2: yes this time, like you're gonna get it finalized.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's like chill, yeah, I mean in the grand scheme
- 10:05Speaker 1: of divorces. As the expert in this area, I mean,
- 10:09Speaker 1: nine months is not a big deal. You're gonna tie
- 10:12Speaker 1: papers and then you're gonna have to file it and
- 10:13Speaker 1: maybe it'll take a few more months, and so a
- 10:15Speaker 1: year is fantastic. I think with my second marriage, we
- 10:20Speaker 1: were separated and ultimately not divorced for one two four
- 10:25Speaker 1: years godes four years, bitch, Oh my god, it was
- 10:30Speaker 1: a long time. So she's actually on a fast track.
- 10:32Speaker 1: She just doesn't know it because she doesn't have the
- 10:34Speaker 1: experience of a woman my year, of course.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And I mean it is fair like to be a
- 10:39Speaker 2: little frustrated, to like be impatient because she has been
- 10:42Speaker 2: done with the marriage, Like I'll give her that, you know,
- 10:44Speaker 2: she's allowed to feel whatever she feels and stuff. And
- 10:47Speaker 2: then we have Mariah and Lydia I guess is up
- 10:50Speaker 2: there as well, visiting family. But Mariah and Ethan go
- 10:53Speaker 2: to the bar to have some drinks, except Ethan's not
- 10:57Speaker 2: drinking right.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Now, which I think is so thing that we should
- 11:00Speaker 1: talk about, because Olivia has said in roundabout ways, not
- 11:06Speaker 1: super directly, that she's a bit concerned about Ethan's drinking. Yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and so I think it's very curious that he has
- 11:15Speaker 1: stepped away from the booze for right now, maybe so
- 11:18Speaker 1: he can think clearly, maybe he understands there's a problem,
- 11:22Speaker 1: or maybe he just doesn't want to socially drink with Mariah,
- 11:24Speaker 1: which is Mariah like, this is what she ends up thinking, Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: my god, I'm just turning twenty one. I want to
- 11:30Speaker 1: sit down with my big brother and I want to
- 11:32Speaker 1: have a drink. And he's like, nope, I just want coffee.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yep.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So she gets a beer and.
- 11:36Speaker 2: She didn't know that he wasn't going to be drinking,
- 11:38Speaker 2: so she kind of felt bad a little bit for
- 11:39Speaker 2: even suggesting it. But I do think it's like good
- 11:43Speaker 2: of Ethan to not be drinking, because if he is
- 11:45Speaker 2: kind of like an angry or emotional drunk like that's
- 11:48Speaker 2: that shows a little bit of self awareness to be like, yeah,
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm not going to drink, you know what I mean?
- 11:52Speaker 1: Agreed, but whatever.
- 11:53Speaker 2: And then at the bar, Mariah talks to Ethan about
- 11:57Speaker 2: how she's feeling bad about how things happened with Olivia,
- 12:00Speaker 2: how she doesn't want to be angry anymore and she
- 12:03Speaker 2: wants to apologize to her. She texted Olivia asking to
- 12:07Speaker 2: meet up while she's in Minnesota, and she's kind of
- 12:09Speaker 2: like getting Ethan's of the ABE vibe check on the
- 12:13Speaker 2: whole situation, and Ethan seems fine with it. He's like,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I don't care, do what you need to do. Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't say he's overly encouraging to Mariah to go
- 12:22Speaker 1: and settle that and do what you think you need
- 12:23Speaker 1: to do, but I feel like he's mildly supportive. He
- 12:26Speaker 1: doesn't have a problem certainly with his sister talking to
- 12:29Speaker 1: his soon to be ex wife. Yeah, probably feels good
- 12:32Speaker 1: that they're going to make things right hopefully. Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And we have the flashbacks from prior seasons of Mariah
- 12:38Speaker 2: talking some shit about Olivia and blaming her for stealing
- 12:43Speaker 2: her music, and so that's kind of what she's wanting
- 12:45Speaker 2: to apologize for. And then we have the ultimate conversation
- 12:49Speaker 2: with Olivia and Mariah, so they meet up. It's kind
- 12:53Speaker 2: of weird. Olivia's totally sessened it out. She's not really
- 12:57Speaker 2: like expecting anything. She doesn't trust Mariah anymore, doesn't really
- 13:03Speaker 2: like her, but doesn't really overtly say that. It's kind
- 13:06Speaker 2: of implied though.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think she's trying to give the appearance that she's
- 13:11Speaker 1: open to what Mariah is saying, but I think that
- 13:13Speaker 1: she's definitely suspicious, and she actually says that when they
- 13:16Speaker 1: ultimately sit down, and I think that she has her
- 13:19Speaker 1: guard up and she doesn't know. I don't think Olivia
- 13:22Speaker 1: knows whether Mariah has the intellectual slash emotional capacity to
- 13:28Speaker 1: specifically enumerate the things that she wants to apologize for.
- 13:32Speaker 1: So she's not expecting that necessarily, maybe hoping for that.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And she also says that she doesn't feel like she
- 13:39Speaker 1: really needs closure, Like she got that it's already done. Yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 1: like she's moved on, but this is something that Mariah
- 13:47Speaker 1: needs for her own mental health and her own emotionality.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'll be okay to meet with her. So like there's
- 13:53Speaker 1: just there's just this position, this energetic position from Olivia
- 13:58Speaker 1: of like somewhat emotion superiority, like you know, I'm gonna
- 14:03Speaker 1: show up so that you can do what you need
- 14:05Speaker 1: to do, but like I know what your character is
- 14:07Speaker 1: and I've got your numbers. So there was just something
- 14:09Speaker 1: that was a little bit icky about it.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Ye.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I again have to remind myself, these are young girls
- 14:15Speaker 1: trying to figure out life, and so I've done worse. Yeah, Oh,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I would not have been capable of sitting down and
- 14:22Speaker 1: talking to somebody like that as maturely and articulately. So
- 14:26Speaker 1: I give them both props.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I do too, And I actually am.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Gonna say for the wreck, oh my god, for all the.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Raccoons to think that I hate Olivia one hundred percent
- 14:34Speaker 2: of the time, I actually didn't mind her in this episode,
- 14:38Speaker 2: Like I actually was kind of on her side for
- 14:41Speaker 2: a bit until I saw her Instagram posts just this
- 14:46Speaker 2: week after the episode aired, So Olivia posted some kind
- 14:51Speaker 2: of shady Instagram graphics on her story, like they were
- 14:55Speaker 2: about dysfunctional families, calling out the plaths basically, and then
- 14:59Speaker 2: some infographic from you know, fake Instagram therapists talking about
- 15:03Speaker 2: what it means to actually apologize and if you're only
- 15:06Speaker 2: apologizing for yourself, it's not a true apology. So she's
- 15:09Speaker 2: like throwing shade to Mariah in her Instagram stories right now.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But then in this scene when she's talking to Mariah,
- 15:18Speaker 2: she's giving her the benefit of the doubt. She's telling
- 15:21Speaker 2: her that she loves her. They're giving each other hugs,
- 15:23Speaker 2: they're going to climb on the grain mills afterwards, and
- 15:26Speaker 2: it seems like they're getting a little bit of closure.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And so I wanted to believe Olivia. And then after that,
- 15:32Speaker 2: you post this shit on Instagram.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Maybe something has happened since then, Maybe it's been several
- 15:36Speaker 1: months since they've actually had this sit down, maybe there's
- 15:40Speaker 1: been an additional falling out. But it does seem really petty,
- 15:43Speaker 1: like on the night that the show airs, when Mariah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I do believe personally that Mariah is trying to do
- 15:50Speaker 1: her best to give a heartfelt apology, even though I
- 15:52Speaker 1: think it's not great technically as far as one apologies go,
- 15:56Speaker 1: it's not great, but like she's trying to do her best.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think it's pretty to do something like that, but
- 16:02Speaker 1: she has been doing stuff like that for many months
- 16:05Speaker 1: on Instagram, so par for the course.
- 16:08Speaker 2: And that's kind of my problem with Olivia, because you
- 16:11Speaker 2: portray this image on camera that like you're trying to
- 16:13Speaker 2: be forgiving and trying to like understand where people are
- 16:16Speaker 2: coming from and try to give people grace, and then
- 16:19Speaker 2: you do this stuff again publicly on your own Instagram,
- 16:22Speaker 2: when none of the other Plaths are doing that. Like
- 16:24Speaker 2: in fact, Mariah hasn't posted anything else about Olivia except
- 16:29Speaker 2: for her song Circus, which is really bad and we
- 16:31Speaker 2: reviewed it on Patreon by the way, pretend it's really bad.
- 16:36Speaker 2: And actually, you remember that Instagram post that all of
- 16:39Speaker 2: the Plath kids posted like last year about the credit
- 16:42Speaker 2: card thing, saying that Olivia lied and blah blah blah.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Mariah removed it from her Instagram. The other Plaith kids
- 16:48Speaker 2: have kept it, but Mariah got rid of it. So
- 16:52Speaker 2: she's not posting anything bad about Olivia, and yet Olivia
- 16:56Speaker 2: feels the need to kind of throw her under the
- 16:58Speaker 2: bus on Instagram to make herself look perfect and great.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, no, I understand your point. I
- 17:05Speaker 1: just wonder if there's something there that we aren't privy
- 17:08Speaker 1: to necessarily, but if I can just veer us off
- 17:11Speaker 1: a little bit. Because you mentioned the post that the
- 17:13Speaker 1: kids made last year about the credit card, like, I
- 17:16Speaker 1: personally feel that they were one hundred percent justified in
- 17:20Speaker 1: doing so, because Olivia made a public statement about Kim,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and we can argue all day whether that statement was
- 17:27Speaker 1: true or not. Kim says, well, she doesn't really say
- 17:29Speaker 1: much about it, but the way they want us to
- 17:32Speaker 1: believe as the audience is that it's not true. Ethan
- 17:35Speaker 1: and Olivia said it was true, so I tend to
- 17:38Speaker 1: believe it. But nonetheless, Olivia made that statement publicly, and
- 17:42Speaker 1: so it's perfectly fair in my opinion that all of
- 17:46Speaker 1: the kids, if they want to make a public statement
- 17:48Speaker 1: agreed in reaction to that, like, they can go ahead
- 17:51Speaker 1: and do that. That's not like something that they did
- 17:53Speaker 1: against Olivia. It's a response to something that Olivia did
- 17:56Speaker 1: to them and their family in their perception, which I
- 17:59Speaker 1: can understand. Where I thought Mariah's apology made sense was
- 18:03Speaker 1: for her coming so hard at Olivia, accusing her of
- 18:07Speaker 1: stealing her music and being real stink about it, not
- 18:11Speaker 1: giving Olivia grace or the benefit of the doubt, just
- 18:14Speaker 1: kind of going straight from zero to ten for no
- 18:17Speaker 1: reason at all. And I think Mariah did that because
- 18:22Speaker 1: she was in a season of her life when she
- 18:24Speaker 1: was kind of waking up to the influence that Olivia
- 18:27Speaker 1: has had on her and realizing, oh, this bitch is
- 18:30Speaker 1: only my friend. She's only my best friend when I
- 18:33Speaker 1: am standing against my family. But the moment, I kind
- 18:36Speaker 1: of want to hang out with him more. I want
- 18:38Speaker 1: to go to Joshua's grave. I want to forgive my
- 18:41Speaker 1: father and my mother. Then we start seeing the relationship
- 18:44Speaker 1: itself begin to wobble, and now I'm not so much
- 18:47Speaker 1: in her favor, and I can feel that, and so
- 18:49Speaker 1: she's waking up. She's also getting pissed off about it
- 18:51Speaker 1: because maybe she understands that she's a bit of a
- 18:54Speaker 1: pawn in this game in terms of Olivia playing chess
- 18:57Speaker 1: the entire time. I believe so she had to react.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It wasn't good. I appreciate that she's here to apologize
- 19:03Speaker 1: for it. I don't think she did a great job
- 19:06Speaker 1: with that apology, and we can say she's young and
- 19:09Speaker 1: that would be correct, but I mean, you could have
- 19:14Speaker 1: been a bit more specific. You could have said, you know,
- 19:16Speaker 1: this thing I did that was wrong. What I should
- 19:19Speaker 1: have done is this, and in the future, if anything
- 19:22Speaker 1: ever happens like that, again, this is what I'm going
- 19:24Speaker 1: to do. Instead. I'm really sorry I should not have
- 19:26Speaker 1: done that. That would have been better, but again, she's
- 19:30Speaker 1: twenty one years old.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah, And at the same time, Mariah's also saying she
- 19:35Speaker 2: doesn't really want to hash out like all of the
- 19:37Speaker 2: specifics of what happened, because we already did that on
- 19:40Speaker 2: public TV. We did that in season five and four
- 19:43Speaker 2: and it was kind of crazy, So I understand where
- 19:46Speaker 2: she was like trying to come off. I don't think
- 19:48Speaker 2: it was a perfect apology by any means, but I
- 19:51Speaker 2: think like her not wanting to hash it out on
- 19:55Speaker 2: camera with Olivia with somebody who is probably a viper
- 19:59Speaker 2: when it comes to arguments, like she probably would have
- 20:01Speaker 2: gone in for the kill with Mariah and she would
- 20:03Speaker 2: not have known how to handle it, and then it
- 20:05Speaker 2: would have been a total mess. I think she was
- 20:07Speaker 2: just trying to be like even Keel and be like,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry for how I treated you, I'm sorry for
- 20:13Speaker 2: how it was wrong.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Blah blah blah. Yeah. I don't really like that, because
- 20:20Speaker 1: you can't do shit to people and then just offer
- 20:23Speaker 1: a blanket apology and expect them to accept it, expect
- 20:28Speaker 1: them to just take it like, no, you did all
- 20:32Speaker 1: of these things specifically, like these ten things. This is
- 20:36Speaker 1: what you have done to me. And so if I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: going to sit here and listen to you give a
- 20:39Speaker 1: general apology, and I want to counter that with yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 1: but can I explain how I want to feel? Can
- 20:45Speaker 1: I explain my perception of what happened? If that's going
- 20:47Speaker 1: to then cause you to like not be able to
- 20:49Speaker 1: talk about it, you know what I'm saying, Like, sometimes
- 20:51Speaker 1: people apologize to us, but they don't actually give us
- 20:54Speaker 1: space to respond. Actually have someone in my life, a
- 20:58Speaker 1: very very close person, who honestly did something to me
- 21:04Speaker 1: that was it cut really deep and they didn't intend
- 21:08Speaker 1: to hurt me, but it was extremely hurtful. They didn't
- 21:11Speaker 1: realize they did it to me for years and I
- 21:15Speaker 1: never brought it up because I didn't want to damage
- 21:17Speaker 1: the relationship. But when they finally realized, oh, that was
- 21:21Speaker 1: so fucking shitty what I did. They called me up
- 21:24Speaker 1: one night and they said, I just have to tell
- 21:25Speaker 1: you something. Do you have a moment. I'm like, sure,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I had no idea, I had no preparation. And then
- 21:30Speaker 1: they proceeded to apologize really quickly and bring up this
- 21:34Speaker 1: hugely emotional thing that truly did hurt me in the past,
- 21:38Speaker 1: and I wanted to respond, but then they said, okay,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I gotta go. I live me by like no space
- 21:43Speaker 1: for me to be in that moment with them. It
- 21:46Speaker 1: really wasn't even about me. This is an apology that
- 21:48Speaker 1: and Olivia actually calls this out. She does She's like,
- 21:51Speaker 1: this is an apology for Mariah. It's not necessarily the
- 21:54Speaker 1: kind of apology that I need that would heal this relationship.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And that's kind of what happened to me. This person is,
- 22:00Speaker 1: of course still in my life, and I've just kind
- 22:04Speaker 1: of let it go because you can't make anybody take
- 22:07Speaker 1: responsibility in the way that you need them to. You
- 22:10Speaker 1: can't make anybody love you the way that you think
- 22:12Speaker 1: that you love them. You can only handle your reactions
- 22:15Speaker 1: and your responses to that. But it's shitty, man, It's
- 22:18Speaker 1: shitty because I wasn't able to say, yeah, that really
- 22:20Speaker 1: hurt me, and this is how it affected me, and
- 22:22Speaker 1: this is how it changed this relationship. Can we heal
- 22:24Speaker 1: these certain things? Do you think I didn't even have
- 22:27Speaker 1: a place in that conversation? See that sucks?
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And I mean I get that for sure. I mean,
- 22:34Speaker 2: in like on Olivia's point of view, she's saying, like, yeah,
- 22:37Speaker 2: you did these things that were pretty shitty to me,
- 22:40Speaker 2: But I also understand because I was once your age
- 22:43Speaker 2: and I messed things up and I feel like nobody
- 22:46Speaker 2: gave me grace to be young.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Okay, twenty five year old Olivia, you're not like, I'm sorry,
- 22:52Speaker 1: I mean.
- 22:53Speaker 2: But I mean she is kind of trying to like
- 22:56Speaker 2: give Mariah grace in this moment, which I think is
- 22:58Speaker 2: actually a mature position to be like.
- 23:00Speaker 1: A condescending way, I mean a little bit.
- 23:03Speaker 2: But well, it is condescending because Olivia is still not
- 23:07Speaker 2: acknowledging the things that she did when she was young
- 23:10Speaker 2: that were wrong. Like she's also very fucking vague and
- 23:13Speaker 2: will say I mess things up, but doesn't say exactly
- 23:16Speaker 2: what you missed up?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Correct, So let's get there in this conversation, because Olivia,
- 23:20Speaker 1: it's not like you didn't do anything here either. It's
- 23:23Speaker 1: not like you didn't pull some major shit in Jamaica.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Jamaican me crazy season four. It's not like you didn't
- 23:29Speaker 1: sit in the car during Joshua's memorial ceremony. That was
- 23:33Speaker 1: not something you did just to Ethan. It was something
- 23:36Speaker 1: that you also did to the rest of the family
- 23:37Speaker 1: that was standing around that day. There's a lot of
- 23:40Speaker 1: things that you did at the river. The shit that
- 23:42Speaker 1: you did at the river at the end of season four.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So by the time we get to season five, Mariah
- 23:46Speaker 1: and she's pissed and she's being stupid and writing a
- 23:48Speaker 1: burn book song, like there's a reason Mariah is there.
- 23:51Speaker 1: There are things that you have done to Mariah. This
- 23:54Speaker 1: is the moment where you take responsibility for the shit
- 23:57Speaker 1: that you did. And if you want to teach her
- 23:59Speaker 1: to apologize, how about doing it as a demonstration exact
- 24:03Speaker 1: and being the example and apologizing for the legit shit
- 24:06Speaker 1: that you did. But the way she holds herself, her
- 24:10Speaker 1: imperious countenance, it's like she's done nothing wrong.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Yep.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna be the benevolent monarch and forgive you,
- 24:17Speaker 1: little girl, because I was twenty onth as well, okay, bitch,
- 24:21Speaker 1: miss me with that. Even then, she's not even really forgiving.
- 24:24Speaker 1: She's just saying I get it. That's not the same
- 24:26Speaker 1: as forgiveness, Like true forgiveness is like being like, you
- 24:29Speaker 1: know what, what you did hurt me, but I forgive
- 24:31Speaker 1: you because I understand shit happens.
- 24:34Speaker 2: You were young, we were dumb. Let's just let bygones
- 24:36Speaker 2: be bygones and actually let it go. But to this day,
- 24:40Speaker 2: she's still not letting it go because she's still trashing
- 24:43Speaker 2: the Plaths at every point she can on her Instagram.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So it's like a lot of people are coming for
- 24:49Speaker 2: her on Instagram, being like, if you're over them, why
- 24:51Speaker 2: are you posting about them? Like, chill the fuck out.
- 24:54Speaker 2: It's all because she's concerned about like how people are
- 24:56Speaker 2: perceiving her, and she's concerned about people attacking her character
- 24:59Speaker 2: because she like, she's in the right and I get that,
- 25:03Speaker 2: but there's so many people that are like pro Olivia,
- 25:05Speaker 2: So just shut up, just stop trashing the Plats, be
- 25:09Speaker 2: over and done with it.
- 25:11Speaker 1: She can't, though, No, she can't. And even in the
- 25:14Speaker 1: acceptance of Mariah's apology, she's making a dig well I
- 25:18Speaker 1: was once young and super dumb like you were too,
- 25:21Speaker 1: and nobody gave me the grace to make mistakes. And
- 25:23Speaker 1: she's saying specifically, nobody in your family when I was
- 25:26Speaker 1: trying to figure my shit out, gave me the grace
- 25:28Speaker 1: to make mistakes or to do something wrong. So I'm
- 25:32Speaker 1: going to do what wasn't done for me by you
- 25:34Speaker 1: and your fact like, she's still blaming in the acceptance
- 25:38Speaker 1: of this apology, which does show me that she is
- 25:41Speaker 1: unhealed in many ways and she's kind of hanging on
- 25:46Speaker 1: to this wound that she has. So I also think
- 25:49Speaker 1: she's really really invested in her online persona of like,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and somebody called it out and read it. I don't
- 25:56Speaker 1: know if you saw this comment. Somebody said that Olivia
- 26:00Speaker 1: is really happy where she is. She doesn't want to
- 26:02Speaker 1: be off the show because she's cultivated or curated this
- 26:05Speaker 1: audience of women's activists, you know, and like these progressive
- 26:08Speaker 1: activists who see her as doing no wrong. And the
- 26:12Speaker 1: minute you kind of try to have a nuanced conversation
- 26:15Speaker 1: about well, just making me crazy though, right, And Josh
- 26:19Speaker 1: was memorial, like in the minute you try to say
- 26:21Speaker 1: anything like people just go crazy. Oh, Yeah, it's a
- 26:25Speaker 1: really really crazy response, and I think maybe Olivia likes that.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I think maybe Olivia likes having stands yep. Like it's
- 26:33Speaker 1: interesting to me, Beatrice, because the first three episodes I
- 26:38Speaker 1: was feeling like, oh, Olivia, I like this, you like,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I like what you're doing. I like your journey, and
- 26:43Speaker 1: you really didn't. And in this episode, you're like, I
- 26:46Speaker 1: liked how Olivia handled that, and I really I really
- 26:49Speaker 1: didn't like. Yeah, her interstitials her to the camera conversations
- 26:53Speaker 1: when she's calling out Mariah's character. I'm like, we don't
- 26:56Speaker 1: really need to do that. Just like me, I didn't
- 26:59Speaker 1: really need to take the person who was apologizing to
- 27:02Speaker 1: task and let them know everything that was wrong with them.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I was able to just love them and accept it. Like, uh, Olivia,
- 27:10Speaker 1: you might want to check yourself.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah. And that's the lack of self awareness that we
- 27:14Speaker 2: always talk about with Olivia, because she portrays herself to
- 27:17Speaker 2: be so enlightened and healed and like she's super progressive
- 27:21Speaker 2: and all of these plasts they are all dumb and
- 27:23Speaker 2: hillbillies and they don't know what they're talking about. It's like, girl,
- 27:26Speaker 2: I mean, it's kind of true, but at the same time, like,
- 27:30Speaker 2: look at yourself in the mirror, Like we can all
- 27:32Speaker 2: have our own blind spots, like Kim and Barry have said,
- 27:35Speaker 2: Olivia's got some blind spots that she doesn't see in
- 27:38Speaker 2: her character, and she does.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I see them. I see them, the raccoons, we have monocles.
- 27:44Speaker 1: We see things plain as day.
- 27:46Speaker 2: And then in the conversation too, Olivia kind of plays
- 27:49Speaker 2: to Mariah's emotions. I don't think it was like super
- 27:52Speaker 2: malicious when she said this, but she does kind of
- 27:55Speaker 2: play the emotional field here where she's like, I just
- 27:57Speaker 2: want you to know I really loved your brother, and
- 28:00Speaker 2: then christ and I really loved you too. You were
- 28:02Speaker 2: like a sister to me, but I loved you. I
- 28:05Speaker 2: don't love you anymore past tense essentially, and then Mariah
- 28:08Speaker 2: says I.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Loved you too, past tense. We can't gloss over the
- 28:11Speaker 1: burn book comment, though, because Olivia says, call Mariah out correctly,
- 28:15Speaker 1: so if you ask me, and she's like, well, I'm
- 28:17Speaker 1: open to like what you're saying here, but it's not
- 28:19Speaker 1: lost on me that you're also releasing music this week,
- 28:22Speaker 1: which is essentially a song directly about me, in which
- 28:25Speaker 1: you have this major very cringe, catharsis moment in your lyrics,
- 28:29Speaker 1: and it's basically a burn book against me. So how
- 28:32Speaker 1: can both of these things be true? Why are you
- 28:34Speaker 1: okay to release that song but you also want to
- 28:38Speaker 1: have this moment of forgiveness with me?
- 28:40Speaker 2: And that's a fair point. Yeah, But like, also, the
- 28:42Speaker 2: song's circus is like not that bad. Like I listened
- 28:45Speaker 2: to it again today and it's like, no, I'm saying
- 28:47Speaker 2: it's not that bad in terms of to Olivia, Oh,
- 28:49Speaker 2: like a song.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Music, it's a horrible song, because then we had to
- 28:54Speaker 1: be subjected to hearing it again.
- 28:56Speaker 2: So bad, so bad again? Wow, covered it on Patrum,
- 29:01Speaker 2: But it's not like it's so bad, calling Olivia out directly,
- 29:05Speaker 2: like Mariah's talking about give me the freedom to change,
- 29:08Speaker 2: like I'm a person I just realized I don't want
- 29:11Speaker 2: to be on your ride anymore and let me live
- 29:14Speaker 2: my life as a forgive rebel, Like it's not that bad,
- 29:17Speaker 2: Like Olivia's treating its like it's a fucking burn book.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It's so horrible. It wasn't that And she totally listened
- 29:23Speaker 2: to it and memorized the lyrics. She did.
- 29:25Speaker 1: She quotes from that song at the end of their conversation,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and I thought Mariah's response was fair. She's like, well,
- 29:34Speaker 1: that was where I was one year ago. That was
- 29:37Speaker 1: part of my process. And I dare say, like, had
- 29:40Speaker 1: I not let all of that, I'm speaking for her
- 29:42Speaker 1: because she's dumb, But had I not let all that
- 29:44Speaker 1: shit out, like I wouldn't be in the space that
- 29:48Speaker 1: I am. Now you're sitting with you having this conversation,
- 29:50Speaker 1: like I had to off gas all of that to
- 29:52Speaker 1: process it. And music, it's my gift, it's my talent,
- 29:56Speaker 1: it's how I do that, it's my process. So you
- 29:59Speaker 1: were my mute. It's so dumb, and so Olivia accepts that,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and right, I mean she's can we also what Olivia
- 30:11Speaker 1: is so pretty? I know she's driving to the farm
- 30:13Speaker 1: every time the light, the way the sunlight hits her
- 30:17Speaker 1: face and her jewel toned eyes. I'm a beautiful heterosexical
- 30:21Speaker 1: but I'm like, how can any man not fall in
- 30:24Speaker 1: love with Olivia or a lesbian woman not unlike yourself?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Like she's like beautiful and Mariah gorge georgeous, stylish, so beauious.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Especially now that she's not like wearing all that makeup.
- 30:39Speaker 2: But have you seen a recent Instagram post.
- 30:41Speaker 1: No, of course not.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Oh m g. She posted a photo like a professional photo.
- 30:47Speaker 2: She can send it right, We'll put it right here, okay,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and someone DM do us on Instagram saying what in
- 30:53Speaker 2: the Orthodox jew is going on here? Because her curls
- 30:57Speaker 2: literally looked like it's so bad. I'll show it to
- 31:01Speaker 2: you after the thought.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Okay, we're right now, but I show it to you
- 31:04Speaker 1: right now. Okay, yeah, let's just take a little pause
- 31:06Speaker 1: and show me.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Let me just show you so you can see what
- 31:07Speaker 2: you're talking when I'm talking about yeah, yeah.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Oh god, does she have a She doesn't have a
- 31:16Speaker 1: stylist right like, there's not. No, it's somebody who's intentionally
- 31:20Speaker 1: it's all her. Oh my, she steeds one of those
- 31:23Speaker 1: little boxes on her head. I know, Oh my god,
- 31:26Speaker 1: it's really bad.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I mean, God, bless you.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But girl, not a good look. It's not the best look.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I've seen better looks. I think her looks in this
- 31:35Speaker 1: season I would say they are better than the cannon
- 31:38Speaker 1: of Mariah looks that we have experienced thus far.
- 31:41Speaker 2: That's now, that's what she did now, So her look
- 31:46Speaker 2: in this season is so much better. I wish you'd
- 31:48Speaker 2: go back to it.
- 31:48Speaker 1: But yeah, well maybe she just was having a day finding.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I like the brunette. I think she's very she's very beautiful.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Both of these girls are very beautiful. They end their
- 31:57Speaker 1: conversation by making some joke, giving a little hug, and
- 32:01Speaker 1: then they both go ahead and climb up those grain
- 32:04Speaker 1: mills or yeah whatever, and they sit up there, and
- 32:07Speaker 1: I kind of got misty Beadred.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I did too.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm like, this is a wholesome moment. I've lost friends too.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I've walked away from people that I thought were so
- 32:16Speaker 1: important to me, like really good good Judy's good girlfriends.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yep.
- 32:19Speaker 1: And that's a painful moment. And they're gonna walk away
- 32:22Speaker 1: from that and they're probably never gonna sit down in
- 32:24Speaker 1: the same room again.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Never.
- 32:25Speaker 1: And that's sad, I know.
- 32:27Speaker 2: And that's why I liked Olivia in this episode because
- 32:29Speaker 2: I'm like, Wow, this actually seemed like okay, she seemed
- 32:33Speaker 2: to like kind of handle it, okay whatever. She had
- 32:35Speaker 2: some snide comments, that's typical. But now it's still it's
- 32:39Speaker 2: like there's obviously something going on. Maybe we'll get to
- 32:43Speaker 2: see it later in the season, like maybe they have
- 32:45Speaker 2: more conflict or maybe Olivia's just being petty. I don't
- 32:48Speaker 2: know that also tracks for her.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Right, if she's unhealed, then she know her people hurt
- 32:51Speaker 1: people will be Adrean exactly.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Well.
- 32:54Speaker 1: We did have also Mariah do her interstitial or to
- 32:57Speaker 1: the camera interview in which she said that Olivia was
- 33:02Speaker 1: only happy with her when she was unhappy with her family.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she said this whole thing was confusing because she's like,
- 33:10Speaker 2: I feel like Olivia's being genuine and is coming from
- 33:14Speaker 2: a good place, but then at the same time, she's
- 33:16Speaker 2: saying she loved me, but I think she only did
- 33:19Speaker 2: when m I hated my family. But it doesn't matter
- 33:21Speaker 2: if it's confusing, because it might just be like that forever,
- 33:25Speaker 2: and I just like want things to be okay, And.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Like, maybe Olivia saw that and then made the post.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I think so.
- 33:30Speaker 1: But I mean, Olivia, you're in your own talking head
- 33:33Speaker 1: talking shit about her characters, so like, oh, can we
- 33:35Speaker 1: just leave this behind us now?
- 33:37Speaker 2: Well, and again that's your blind spot, because yeah, you
- 33:39Speaker 2: did only love these kids when they hated their family.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Once they started recognizing their parents as their parents, you
- 33:45Speaker 2: got pissed off. Sorry, agreed, I mean that's just what
- 33:50Speaker 2: it is. So whatever, and then we.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Have oh my god, are we at like thirty minutes?
- 33:55Speaker 2: Girl? Every time we start these pods and she's like,
- 33:58Speaker 2: let's just have it be twenty thirty minute and it's
- 34:00Speaker 2: like an hour every time. We got big bows anyway,
- 34:05Speaker 2: So then we have the last half of the episode,
- 34:07Speaker 2: which is like Florida with Kim and Ken and the girls.
- 34:10Speaker 1: We can move through this pretty quickly.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Amber's teaching line dancing. Okay, nobody cares, but.
- 34:15Speaker 1: She's so pretty.
- 34:16Speaker 2: She's gorgeous.
- 34:17Speaker 1: She is so cute. And then we have Little Mercy,
- 34:20Speaker 1: like a little Mariah. She's got me ye boots on.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You can see her mid section. The Brown Girls could never,
- 34:29Speaker 1: could never. She looks so cute. And Cassia. I love
- 34:32Speaker 1: Cassia so much. I want to see more of Cassia.
- 34:34Speaker 3: I hope there's the.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Poor for Cassia. Such a beautiful girl. So they go
- 34:38Speaker 1: line dancing and Ken Palmer is there helping Amber, and
- 34:42Speaker 1: I'm like, you're not.
- 34:43Speaker 2: A predator, right, I hope not.
- 34:44Speaker 1: You're not a predator. I hope you're not, because you
- 34:46Speaker 1: know what they say about like moms who get into
- 34:50Speaker 1: relationships with guys and bring their kids and then there's
- 34:52Speaker 1: usually if there's gonna be a b it's gonna be
- 34:56Speaker 1: one of the old guys. But Ken Palmer's too old, right.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I don't I don't even want to.
- 35:00Speaker 2: How I don't know everything?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Rude? Who am I?
- 35:03Speaker 2: I didn't have to.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'm just like always stranger danger. Yeah, I'm always stranger danger.
- 35:07Speaker 1: And I'm clocking the dudes because Amber is so pretty,
- 35:10Speaker 1: so sweet, and now she likes Ken and Ken is
- 35:13Speaker 1: like helping her, and I'm sady and everything because you
- 35:16Speaker 1: know he made those racist pulls off Facebook. I know
- 35:19Speaker 1: you know that he doesn't have the greatest character, right,
- 35:22Speaker 1: and these girls are so innocent and beautiful hashtag protect them.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I protect them, and I'll just go on centered for
- 35:29Speaker 2: a real brief months.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Okay, back from uncensored, and if you want to hear
- 35:32Speaker 1: all of our uncensored bits, make sure you go to
- 35:34Speaker 1: patreon dot com slash reality TV cringe, because that's for
- 35:37Speaker 1: the Patreon raccoons only. I don't know. With Amber, I
- 35:42Speaker 1: just had a weird little vibe vibe check. Like she said,
- 35:47Speaker 1: I didn't like him at first, but now I really
- 35:49Speaker 1: like him. And you know, Kim is obviously pushing Ken
- 35:54Speaker 1: on all of her kids. We saw last episode She's like, Ethan,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I haven't seen you in two years. Do you want
- 35:58Speaker 1: to meet Mamyam? I felt my fuck boy, yeah, and
- 36:02Speaker 1: he's like no in a pro pro So, I'm just
- 36:05Speaker 1: wondering how much of Amber's reaction and response to Ken
- 36:08Speaker 1: is because Kim is pressuring these little girls to spend
- 36:11Speaker 1: time with him. Uh huh, which is why Berry doesn't
- 36:14Speaker 1: like him yet and doesn't want to be around him
- 36:16Speaker 1: or say hi to him when they drop the kids off.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Well, and Amber's even saying too, like I was mad
- 36:21Speaker 2: at my mom at first, but now she's my best friend.
- 36:24Speaker 2: And then the producers tell that to Kim and Kim's like,
- 36:26Speaker 2: oh my goad, that's so great, and I'm just like,
- 36:29Speaker 2: she gets smisty.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I maybe that has an emotion in there.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I guess. I don't know if that's healthy.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I don't either.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I'm side eyeing it. And then Micah comes down to
- 36:38Speaker 2: work on his mom's busty ass boat, who she doesn't
- 36:42Speaker 2: know anything about, Like, she doesn't know anything about.
- 36:44Speaker 1: This boat, further proving my point that she doesn't want
- 36:48Speaker 1: to be on a house boat. This is a prop
- 36:50Speaker 1: for the show problem and or a place that she
- 36:52Speaker 1: can take the girls when they don't want to hang
- 36:54Speaker 1: out with Ken Palmer. But every other second, every other
- 36:58Speaker 1: minute of the day, honey, she's over that.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Ken followers.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Oh, she's rotten round, She's rotten a pony, that's where
- 37:12Speaker 1: she wants to be. She is not interested in this houseboat.
- 37:15Speaker 1: It is booty as hell, it doesn't run. She doesn't
- 37:18Speaker 1: know how to turn this shit on. This is all
- 37:20Speaker 1: a prop for TLC. They probably paid for it. Probably.
- 37:23Speaker 2: It's kind of embarrassing, And the only thing that was
- 37:26Speaker 2: interesting about this was like Micah talking to his mom
- 37:29Speaker 2: about his girlfriend kind of and how she's like, Oh, yeah,
- 37:32Speaker 2: I really like her, but are you gonna get her
- 37:34Speaker 2: some Christmas gifts or some Birthday gifts because apparently Micah's
- 37:38Speaker 2: not getting gifts for his girlfriend that he lives with.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Well, Micah doesn't know how to be in a relationship
- 37:43Speaker 1: with anybody. That probably means Barry never got any presents
- 37:46Speaker 1: for Kim, and maybe Kim never got any presents for Barry.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And they're like these fundamentalist Christians who probably never had
- 37:52Speaker 1: a Christmas tree or any presence whatsoever. That's satanic I
- 37:56Speaker 1: think they've actually talked about that, have they. I think
- 37:58Speaker 1: they never celebrated holidays. So yeah, oh gosh, okay, it's
- 38:02Speaker 1: already escaped my consciousness. But like so, Micah doesn't know
- 38:05Speaker 1: how to do relationships. We're gonna have to give him
- 38:08Speaker 1: some years to figure it out. I just don't think
- 38:10Speaker 1: this is the girl that you really want to do that,
- 38:13Speaker 1: because there's already major red flags with whoever she is
- 38:17Speaker 1: down there in South Florida.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, but apparently Kim loves her. Kim think she does it.
- 38:21Speaker 1: She's just trying to convince us that she's changed. I'm
- 38:25Speaker 1: not gonna treat her like I treated Olivia. I'm going
- 38:28Speaker 1: to give her the benefit. I'm gonna support her in
- 38:30Speaker 1: this relationship because she's beautiful and intelligent and wonderful, something
- 38:34Speaker 1: she never innately felt for Olivia. So she's doing this
- 38:38Speaker 1: so that we believe that she's a good mom and
- 38:41Speaker 1: she's changed. I don't know, yeah, I believe it.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I mean it kind of seems like she has changed
- 38:45Speaker 2: a little bit because she's saying she's loosened up with
- 38:48Speaker 2: the younger girls in terms of like how they dress,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and they all have their ears pierced and they have.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Because what kind of audacity would she have to say,
- 38:56Speaker 1: as an adulterous criminal who gets DUIs and wraps her
- 38:59Speaker 1: trees around cars, around trees, to tell her kids that
- 39:02Speaker 1: they can't wear cute little boots and a little bit
- 39:04Speaker 1: of makeup with that fucking eyeliner and that line you're
- 39:08Speaker 1: going to try and tell people about their makeup. I
- 39:10Speaker 1: don't think so.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Kiss.
- 39:12Speaker 1: She has no parental moral authority over these eldren.
- 39:17Speaker 2: No, and she talks about it. She's like, all my
- 39:18Speaker 2: older kids rebelled, so obviously I did something wrong, so
- 39:21Speaker 2: I need to just kind of change it.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, we are sitting here on this day,
- 39:25Speaker 1: Year of Our Lord, twenty twenty four, and you're giving
- 39:27Speaker 1: Kim some grace. I say, I think it's because she
- 39:29Speaker 1: reminds you a little bit of your model bit and
- 39:31Speaker 1: you love your mom. Because Kim is a whole fucking
- 39:33Speaker 1: trash bag of a person, and she is irredeable in
- 39:39Speaker 1: my opinion. I mean, I know Jesus loves her. Probably,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I think she's a traumatized, troubled woman and she had
- 39:47Speaker 2: a million fucking kids and she's just trying to figure
- 39:50Speaker 2: her life out and she's going through a midlife crisis.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I don't think she's perfect. I think she's fucking self
- 39:54Speaker 2: centered as shit. She's got narcissistic tendencies. But I do
- 39:58Speaker 2: think she's changing a little bit. She is obviously she's
- 40:02Speaker 2: letting her kids do whatever they want.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Now, well she's making the slow crawl to full on alcoholism.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Well yeah that's a change.
- 40:09Speaker 2: That's a bad change, not a good change.
- 40:11Speaker 1: No, I don't believe anything that she's serving us. Let
- 40:15Speaker 1: us know what you guys last I mean, because I
- 40:17Speaker 1: know not everybody is as heartless as we are, or
- 40:21Speaker 1: the fucking subreddits, the apps, like, I don't know what
- 40:23Speaker 1: they're saying on Instagram or the twitters about Kim, but
- 40:27Speaker 1: I don't believe it. You're fifty five years old. That's
- 40:30Speaker 1: old dog, honey. You know what they say about old
- 40:32Speaker 1: dogs and new tricks. I think she's a manipulator. I
- 40:35Speaker 1: think she's trying to get all her kids to love
- 40:38Speaker 1: her new man. Yeah, the lifestyle, and I just don't believe.
- 40:42Speaker 1: I don't believe anything she's giving us.
- 40:44Speaker 2: It would probably be better if she was just single,
- 40:47Speaker 2: Like if she wasn't with another person and she could
- 40:50Speaker 2: actually figure her shit out, go to fucking therapy, not
- 40:52Speaker 2: be a drunk like but you hop from one dick
- 40:55Speaker 2: to another, and then you got a houseboat and now
- 40:58Speaker 2: you're forcing your kids to love your new man. Ah,
- 41:02Speaker 2: and you're speaking as if you're divorced in this episode.
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm like, you haven't even filed divorced.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I don't think you guys have even file divorce until
- 41:10Speaker 1: like June of twenty two. I don't know what the
- 41:11Speaker 1: fuck I'm talking about, but I think that it was
- 41:13Speaker 1: only recently that we have a formal filing of any kind. So, Kim,
- 41:17Speaker 1: you are a married woman. I know when you're talking
- 41:20Speaker 1: to your kids, you are an adult ess.
- 41:24Speaker 2: She's the worst. Shame for shame, and then we have
- 41:29Speaker 2: the preview for the next coming episode. Yes, Mariah is
- 41:34Speaker 2: going to Kim and asking her for choreography advice in
- 41:39Speaker 2: her music video.
- 41:40Speaker 1: It's like some sort of wiggedy wax strip teasers for
- 41:43Speaker 1: lesques with her big old sandals. I can't sandals do
- 41:48Speaker 1: lark sandals from deus wwareass for a wide footed woman?
- 41:53Speaker 2: I know, Like, why would you ask him of all people?
- 41:59Speaker 2: And then we have Micah asking Barry if he's dayton
- 42:03Speaker 2: if he's rising any of the chicks, and Barry the
- 42:06Speaker 2: AI learns some slang.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Well, he says, I'm dope, and the guy's like, that's
- 42:12Speaker 1: literally from the eighties. It's a limo. Then it's old
- 42:15Speaker 1: and he's like, it's already old.
- 42:17Speaker 2: It's kind of funny.
- 42:18Speaker 1: It is kind of cute, total dad moment.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we have Ethan actually signing the divorce
- 42:23Speaker 2: paperwork and Olivia looks sad, she's like crying or whatever,
- 42:27Speaker 2: and he leaves and he's like, this is the last
- 42:29Speaker 2: time I've ever got to see her.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And he casts her that glance. He's like, I don't
- 42:33Speaker 1: know when, if ever, I will see you again. And
- 42:35Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you that has happened with me
- 42:38Speaker 1: and some men. I'm walking away. That is a sad moment.
- 42:41Speaker 2: It is very sad.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm just relating, that's all.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel for him. And maybe the tarror Reader's right,
- 42:47Speaker 2: maybe maybe in a couple of years they'll get back together.
- 42:50Speaker 2: That would be so wild.
- 42:51Speaker 1: We shall see.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Oh, I love it.
- 42:52Speaker 1: All right, are you ready to get into honestly.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Let's talk about these teen hosts? All right?
- 42:59Speaker 1: All right, we did not cover unexpected. Last week, guys,
- 43:04Speaker 1: I'm well priorities had an hour long conversation about Plath
- 43:08Speaker 1: though I think we're almost at an hour now. God, sorry, discipline,
- 43:12Speaker 1: I know, especially wow. But we're here to cover last
- 43:16Speaker 1: week and this week we have a few teenagers that
- 43:19Speaker 1: we got to get into their ass. I want to
- 43:21Speaker 1: I want to get into that Emily ass.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Girl.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I'm ready to get into Emily's ass. Ye, But you
- 43:27Speaker 1: take the reins and you lead.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Well, let's start with Kayley and Graham, because last week
- 43:32Speaker 2: it was kind of the talk of the induction, and
- 43:36Speaker 2: then this week is the actual induction.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Who the fuck is that guy?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Becky? Who?
- 43:41Speaker 1: I know I'm skipping ahead, but what else is there
- 43:44Speaker 1: to talk to? There are things to talk talk about,
- 43:47Speaker 1: but not really what else are we supposed to be
- 43:50Speaker 1: talking about except that rando meth heady weird dude sitting
- 43:56Speaker 1: up in Kaylee's delivery room.
- 43:59Speaker 2: For what. Becky's meth friend Rob?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Who is he? I think that's her boyfriend?
- 44:05Speaker 2: I don't know there's a friend.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Banging what even if it's a boyfriend, even if it's
- 44:11Speaker 1: a close family relationship, it's some random dude.
- 44:14Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Get the fuck out of my child's delivery room. Mandy,
- 44:19Speaker 1: open your mouth.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Mandy's such a weak as bit. It's so annoying, Like,
- 44:24Speaker 2: why don't you say something? Be like, you know what,
- 44:26Speaker 2: My daughter's fifteen and I don't want you in here
- 44:28Speaker 2: seeing her kouchie.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I say it to the camera, but you can't
- 44:31Speaker 1: say it to this weirdo. Is he gonna be there
- 44:33Speaker 1: when the kuchie comes out?
- 44:35Speaker 2: I hope not, because that's fucking weird.
- 44:37Speaker 1: It's I'm getting mad, I'm getting really weird. So let's
- 44:40Speaker 1: back up, because well, I mean basically, well, they drive
- 44:44Speaker 1: over to the hospital. Yeah, Graham's been pukin. Yeah, apparently
- 44:47Speaker 1: that's how Graham deals with his anxiety.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Kind of feel bad for him.
- 44:51Speaker 1: I do as well. He throws up a lot, and
- 44:53Speaker 1: he does a whole body throw up. You know who
- 44:55Speaker 1: does that as well?
- 44:56Speaker 2: Your husband?
- 44:56Speaker 1: My husband, God. But it's like he goes into the
- 44:59Speaker 1: bathroom on a terrible night of drinking and the entire
- 45:04Speaker 1: house shakes from the foundation up from his throwing up, Like, cad,
- 45:07Speaker 1: you throw up a little more quiet.
- 45:09Speaker 2: My dad was like that too. I think men are
- 45:11Speaker 2: just like that.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Why bizarre chill out so Graham's getting all anxious like
- 45:16Speaker 1: a shaky chihuahua and he's throwing up. But they're all
- 45:19Speaker 1: making their way to the hospital. Yep, she's getting induced
- 45:22Speaker 1: that day. First they gotta try some procedure where they
- 45:24Speaker 1: do something with a string on her surface, and I
- 45:26Speaker 1: don't know, it sounds terrible, horrible. They wait several hours
- 45:30Speaker 1: with people coming in and out, and then they finally
- 45:33Speaker 1: start her on the Potosi And by then though Becky's
- 45:35Speaker 1: already gone. I think Becky waited for like an hour.
- 45:39Speaker 1: And then as soon as Kaylee and her dumbass mom
- 45:41Speaker 1: went into the bathroom, she bounced she had to go
- 45:44Speaker 1: do me. I gotta go. Yeah, got a pipe yep,
- 45:46Speaker 1: and a bed calling my name Nie.
- 45:50Speaker 2: And then her weird friend Rob is there like in
- 45:52Speaker 2: place of her, Like why uh, why.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Are you there? I get a sod off listen serious,
- 45:59Speaker 1: That guy makes me have rap.
- 46:00Speaker 2: I don't know why he's there. And he's talking.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Pure male audacity to be talking to the nurses, to
- 46:06Speaker 1: be talking to the doctors, to be talking for her
- 46:09Speaker 1: to be talking to her fourteen, fifteen year old girl
- 46:12Speaker 1: doesn't know who you are, you old weirdo. God give
- 46:16Speaker 1: me five minutes with people like this, just five fucking
- 46:18Speaker 1: minute for real.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I don't I don't understand why Mandy's not saying anything
- 46:22Speaker 2: and why her husband's not there, because I feel like
- 46:25Speaker 2: her husband would say something and be like, yeah, you
- 46:27Speaker 2: know what, get the fuck out of here.
- 46:28Speaker 1: I think he's working on a railroad some I don't
- 46:31Speaker 1: even know if he's.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Contract making money for this hospital.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Visit honey, I don't know that old family's crazy. But
- 46:37Speaker 1: Mandy just sits there and judges everybody. She doesn't open
- 46:40Speaker 1: her eyes. She literally has She clearly has like a
- 46:44Speaker 1: huge problem with Becky. Every single opportunity she can to
- 46:48Speaker 1: the camera, she's talking about Becky, Like, for example, she's
- 46:52Speaker 1: concerned that Becky's actually in the delivery room because she's
- 46:55Speaker 1: got the bipolar and you never know with the bipole
- 46:58Speaker 1: or like what she gonna do as if it's psychosis
- 47:01Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, it's not psychosis, it's gonna be okay,
- 47:05Speaker 1: it's doing all right. If it's mess if it's a
- 47:08Speaker 1: medal bipolar, you know, maybe so yeah. But like every
- 47:11Speaker 1: opportunity she can, she's dragging Becky. Doesn't she know Becky's
- 47:14Speaker 1: gonna watch that, doesn't she know that Becky is also
- 47:18Speaker 1: the co grandparent and at some point in the future
- 47:21Speaker 1: you might need Becky doesn't matter.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like Becky doesn't give a book.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Becky's kind of a piece of shit in my opinion,
- 47:28Speaker 2: because like she's making fun of Graham for like throwing
- 47:31Speaker 2: up and being nervous when he's literally talking on the
- 47:33Speaker 2: couch like I'm nervous because I have school and I
- 47:36Speaker 2: have to get a job, and my girlfriend's pregnant and
- 47:38Speaker 2: about to have a baby, and I have to take
- 47:40Speaker 2: care of my bipolar meth head mom. And she's just
- 47:42Speaker 2: like laughing at him, like she's.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Even when they're getting into the car, she's like, why
- 47:47Speaker 1: am I carrying my own bag. Ram's like, well, because
- 47:51Speaker 1: it is your bag, and she's like, well, you're my son.
- 47:55Speaker 1: So clearly she makes him do all of the physical
- 47:58Speaker 1: lifting and the emotion on psychological lifting. There's a reason
- 48:02Speaker 1: your son is shaking like a chihuahua and vomiting so
- 48:05Speaker 1: that the whole house hears it, you bitch you. And
- 48:08Speaker 1: like he's sitting on the couch and he's talking about
- 48:11Speaker 1: all of these responsibilities and everything that he's doing for
- 48:13Speaker 1: his mother as well. And she's just sitting there listening.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah, because she's high.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I would turn to him and say, my love, like,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I am not your responsibility. I am the parent in
- 48:23Speaker 1: this situation. Yeah, I love you and I'm here to
- 48:25Speaker 1: support you. That's your opportunity to do that, Becky. But
- 48:28Speaker 1: you're just sitting there, completely phased out and unconscious and
- 48:32Speaker 1: letting him take responsibility for your emotional and physical wellbeing.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yep.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I hate all these people. I hate I know all
- 48:39Speaker 1: of these people. I hate this dude in the in
- 48:41Speaker 1: the delivery room.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I know he's such a fucking freak.
- 48:44Speaker 1: It's been really weird. Five minutes and some brass knuckles
- 48:47Speaker 1: and I'll take care of that business. Get PHO, show
- 48:49Speaker 1: the fuck, Tell the nurse, execute him, execute, Tell the
- 48:52Speaker 1: nurse to exit him out of the room. Thank you
- 48:56Speaker 1: for real.
- 48:57Speaker 2: I just feel bad for Kayley too, because it's twenty
- 48:59Speaker 2: four hours after all of this medication that she's given
- 49:03Speaker 2: been given to get induced, and her cervix is still
- 49:06Speaker 2: not thinning. She's still not dilated, so it looks like
- 49:09Speaker 2: she's probably gonna have to have emergency sea section and
- 49:12Speaker 2: that sucks.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess the baby's sunny side up next week
- 49:15Speaker 1: next week's episode, and so they're talking about an emergency
- 49:18Speaker 1: sea section. I don't know if she's going to ultimately
- 49:20Speaker 1: get that, Like, as soon as you start the potosin drip,
- 49:24Speaker 1: things get real. Yeah, and the pain is real. And
- 49:30Speaker 1: so Kaylee at this moment in time is just starting
- 49:33Speaker 1: the potosin. So she doesn't really know what that life's about.
- 49:37Speaker 1: But she's about to know, because they're going to make
- 49:38Speaker 1: her go through it with the potosin for a while,
- 49:40Speaker 1: at least before they come in and do a sea section.
- 49:43Speaker 1: If they do that, yikes, wouldn't want to be there? No,
- 49:47Speaker 1: not at all?
- 49:48Speaker 2: Do that? I have fifteen yikes.
- 49:50Speaker 1: No.
- 49:51Speaker 2: And then we have Anaya and.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Day day and I'm Snory Harvey.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Well, last week it was all about the christening and
- 50:02Speaker 2: stuff like that. I don't care, don't care at all,
- 50:05Speaker 2: do not care. And then this week it's the RV.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Also don't care with your grandparents and Dada has a
- 50:10Speaker 2: promise ring.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Her grandpa was in the Navy for twenty years. I
- 50:14Speaker 1: really liked him. He wore a suit to drive the RV.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Was really cute. They went to some little restaurants. This
- 50:21Speaker 1: is adorable, but it's all about day day. We have
- 50:25Speaker 1: Ashley admitting that day day is actually better than most
- 50:29Speaker 1: guys her age when it comes to their children. Day
- 50:33Speaker 1: day in the most unpracticed and immature God blessed them.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Seventeen year old year old boy Way pulls out a
- 50:42Speaker 1: box with a ring in it and just is here,
- 50:44Speaker 1: look at it. Open it and she's like what.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Is this and he's like, it's a promise Wing And
- 50:49Speaker 2: just like JJ from a couple episodes ago, everybody's asking
- 50:53Speaker 2: what's the promise for. He's like, well, I don't know,
- 50:55Speaker 2: just promise to be with you.
- 50:56Speaker 1: And they're like, is it a promise to marry? And
- 50:58Speaker 1: he's like, well, I don't know about all that kind
- 51:01Speaker 1: of commitment. I'm not necessarily ready for that. Yeah, but
- 51:06Speaker 1: he is ready to sign up for the Air Force.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Let me just tell you, Raccoons. Let me tell you, Beatrice.
- 51:13Speaker 1: This house likes the Air Force. Yes, some Air Force
- 51:16Speaker 1: soldiers up in here. We like the Air Force. I
- 51:19Speaker 1: think that's a good choice for this young man. He
- 51:21Speaker 1: wants to do air traffic.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Control because it makes a lot of money.
- 51:25Speaker 1: It's a lot of money. He doesn't know what it is. No, No,
- 51:27Speaker 1: necessarily how to do it or anything. But he just
- 51:30Speaker 1: wants those Benjamin's and so that's what his plan is.
- 51:33Speaker 1: But I kind of like that for him. But Anaya
- 51:36Speaker 1: is like, I want to be cooped up with my
- 51:39Speaker 1: man and my child. I want us to be together. Like,
- 51:42Speaker 1: if you leave and get deployed, I'm not.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Going to see you, right, But I'm like, does he
- 51:47Speaker 2: want to be around you and your mom?
- 51:48Speaker 1: Though?
- 51:49Speaker 2: Your mom who hates men, hates dating.
- 51:52Speaker 1: She is a straight up missusest.
- 51:54Speaker 2: She totally hates men. And even Anaya calls it out
- 51:58Speaker 2: on the couch because she's like, yeah, my mom is
- 52:01Speaker 2: kind of trying to be nice today today, but my
- 52:04Speaker 2: mom doesn't even talk about our fathers. She doesn't acknowledge
- 52:08Speaker 2: that she's got baby daddy. She wants nothing to do
- 52:10Speaker 2: with them. She hates them. And Ashley laughs about it,
- 52:12Speaker 2: and I'm like, that's shitty because those are your kids' fathers,
- 52:16Speaker 2: Like they deserve to have a relationship with them and
- 52:18Speaker 2: not have their mom constantly saying, oh, they're pieces of
- 52:21Speaker 2: shit and they suck. I mean maybe they are.
- 52:23Speaker 1: He who shall not be named, Yeah, maybe they are.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Maybe Ashley is the way that she is because she's
- 52:28Speaker 1: had a lot of terrible relationships with terrible men who
- 52:31Speaker 1: have treated her terribly. It's like you're literally raising your
- 52:35Speaker 1: daughter to mistrust and hate men. And now we know
- 52:39Speaker 1: you're of our Lord. Twenty twenty four, that day Day
- 52:41Speaker 1: and Anaya are no longer together, and she's up on
- 52:44Speaker 1: TikTok TikTok all the time, dragging him yepant and defending
- 52:51Speaker 1: her toxic af mother, her.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Piece of shit mom. And as the cycle goes, and
- 52:56Speaker 2: then we have Emily and Nate and this bitch wh
- 53:01Speaker 2: is annoying. I really don't like her. She's pissing me off.
- 53:04Speaker 1: I had catch her from the beginning.
- 53:06Speaker 2: Nate, I feel like, out of all of these boys,
- 53:08Speaker 2: this little angel is really trying hard to be a
- 53:11Speaker 2: good boyfriend, to be a good dad. He wants to
- 53:14Speaker 2: be present, and.
- 53:15Speaker 1: He's sixteen motherfucking years old.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and he still has to go to school and
- 53:19Speaker 2: he's trying, and yet it's never good enough for Emily.
- 53:23Speaker 2: And like I feel for her because she'd never had
- 53:25Speaker 2: a mom. She's like trying, and she's probably kind of
- 53:28Speaker 2: a type a person, so she's like pissed off when
- 53:31Speaker 2: people don't do it her way. But like girl, chill.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it's all generated though, from this fear
- 53:40Speaker 1: of abandonment and this need to be able to control
- 53:44Speaker 1: the people around you so that they never actually leave you. Yeah,
- 53:48Speaker 1: and so then you have this hyper vigilance in this
- 53:50Speaker 1: control and you inevitably push them away, which you're going
- 53:54Speaker 1: to do with Nate. He's just too young right now.
- 53:55Speaker 1: He doesn't know what a spine is or a backbone.
- 53:57Speaker 1: But you don't get there. He's going to become a man,
- 54:00Speaker 1: and if Taren sees to it, she's gonna be protecting
- 54:03Speaker 1: her son. And Taren is clocking it all, like even
- 54:07Speaker 1: just leaving the hospital last week with their son, Like
- 54:12Speaker 1: Nate forgot her Emily's phone in the hospital. He said
- 54:16Speaker 1: he had it, but he didn't. But like he's like, Okay,
- 54:17Speaker 1: my bad. There's a lot going on, Emily, Sorry, I
- 54:20Speaker 1: don't know if you caught up. Yeah, there's a lot
- 54:21Speaker 1: going on. He happened to make a mistake. And she
- 54:24Speaker 1: just kind of rolls her eyes and sighs and beraates
- 54:28Speaker 1: him and puts him down. Is critical, and Taren is
- 54:31Speaker 1: looking at her in the rear view mirror. Leg bitch,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I'm watching you. Uh huh, that's my son, and you
- 54:35Speaker 1: get a little bit of grace because you just had
- 54:37Speaker 1: a kid, but you better try lightly. And so in
- 54:40Speaker 1: this week's episode, it's two weeks after that. Yep, we
- 54:43Speaker 1: have Emily in sconstin bed. She's trying to get Nate
- 54:46Speaker 1: up to go to school. Nate's tired as fuck because
- 54:50Speaker 1: I think Emily believes he should do ninety percent of
- 54:52Speaker 1: the diapers, all of the diapers, all of the diapers. Yeah,
- 54:56Speaker 1: so he's up in the middle of the night changing diapers. Yep,
- 54:59Speaker 1: even though he asked to go to school. But he
- 55:01Speaker 1: does not have a license I imagine tarn works, so
- 55:04Speaker 1: she can't drive him. So Emily has to get off
- 55:07Speaker 1: her but unfortunately, I mean, she does have a newborn,
- 55:10Speaker 1: and I'm sure it's a lot, but like, this is
- 55:12Speaker 1: your lot in life, this is what you chose to do.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And so now here we are, you got to get
- 55:18Speaker 1: up with your man. You gotta put your kid in
- 55:20Speaker 1: the car seat, you gotta take him to school. But
- 55:22Speaker 1: like the entire way there, she's disappointed in him. She
- 55:26Speaker 1: treats him like a child, she treats him like shit,
- 55:29Speaker 1: as if she's mature and an adult.
- 55:31Speaker 2: And she like won't even drop him off, like at
- 55:34Speaker 2: the school. She drops him off on like the outskirts
- 55:36Speaker 2: and she's like, there you go. He's like, okay, well
- 55:38Speaker 2: I'll be out at one point thirty and she's like, well,
- 55:40Speaker 2: I'm not picking you up. He's like, well, what do
- 55:43Speaker 2: you mean, Like I kinda need a ride, like nobody
- 55:45Speaker 2: else is gonna pick me up. She's like, well, I'm
- 55:46Speaker 2: not doing it. It's not thinking there that I have
- 55:48Speaker 2: to do all of this. And it's like, well, girl,
- 55:51Speaker 2: it is. You slept with a sixteen year old after.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Two months, you didn't use protection, and you got pregnant,
- 55:58Speaker 1: and you chose to keep your child. Actually everything, but
- 56:01Speaker 1: here we are and you can't have to work together.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And I think Nate is trying as much as he can.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be a male sympathizer out here,
- 56:09Speaker 1: but I mean he's just a child. Like, okay, I'm
- 56:11Speaker 1: a parent. I can see this boy as a child.
- 56:12Speaker 1: So is Emily. But like she's just toxic, dude. She's
- 56:15Speaker 1: she's just totally animated by her traumas and she doesn't
- 56:19Speaker 1: see her part in it, and she does not know
- 56:21Speaker 1: how to moderate her own behavior. It's not going to
- 56:25Speaker 1: end well, although I think they're married.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I think they are married.
- 56:27Speaker 1: They're married, so maybe go over it. I don't know,
- 56:30Speaker 1: it's never gonna last.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Probably know they're gonna try, though.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I hope she's in therapy. She needs therapy for years. Yes, years.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Does we have Lily? Do we even want to talk
- 56:40Speaker 2: about her?
- 56:41Speaker 1: No?
- 56:41Speaker 2: I don't care, Boycott. They have the flu, and then
- 56:45Speaker 2: we have Jenna. This was very interesting, juicy, juicy, so juicy, jusy.
- 56:51Speaker 2: So Jenna is in Myrtle Beach and mar she gets
- 56:54Speaker 2: a call from the courts or whatever because Aiden filed
- 56:58Speaker 2: emergency customs, so she has to drive her happy ass
- 57:03Speaker 2: back to l to the Pennsylvania and go to court
- 57:07Speaker 2: to basically fight with him. I guess for custody. But
- 57:11Speaker 2: doesn't work out in her favor because the judge sides
- 57:15Speaker 2: with Aiden and they didn't even like get to put
- 57:19Speaker 2: out any evidence or like show anything or argue a case.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Like the judge just talked to the lawyers and sided
- 57:24Speaker 2: with Aiden. So now Aiden gets every other weekend right
- 57:31Speaker 2: every Wednesday from four to seven pm and every other
- 57:34Speaker 2: Monday from four to seven pm. So therefore she can't
- 57:38Speaker 2: live in Myrtle right for the time being, And.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Of course I immediately WhatsApp to you and said, good bitch.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I like, this child should have access, consistent access to
- 57:50Speaker 1: his father who allegedly wants access to him. So this
- 57:54Speaker 1: is for the best interest of this child. But I mean,
- 57:58Speaker 1: I do think Aiden is doing this just to screw
- 58:01Speaker 1: with her, because, as Jenna tells it, it wasn't until
- 58:05Speaker 1: she started posting JJ and Luca and her in their
- 58:08Speaker 1: apartment down in Myrtle that Aiden started having a problem
- 58:12Speaker 1: with it. And she reminds us that she actually struck
- 58:15Speaker 1: a deal with Aiden months ago where he did not
- 58:17Speaker 1: have to pay child support in exchange for her being
- 58:20Speaker 1: able to move to Myrtle Beach. And you know what,
- 58:22Speaker 1: I completely believe her. I think he absolutely struck that deal.
- 58:26Speaker 1: But I think in the back of his mind he's thinking,
- 58:29Speaker 1: move all the way down there. Yep, get settled and established,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and as soon as you are, I'm going to sue
- 58:35Speaker 1: you for custody because it's not in writing, because you're dumb.
- 58:38Speaker 2: That's what I think. I think Jenna's so fucking stupid.
- 58:41Speaker 2: I don't think she got any of it in writing,
- 58:43Speaker 2: and so she's like saying, well, the judges like didn't
- 58:45Speaker 2: even want to look at any of her evidence, and
- 58:47Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, your evidence is probably that he doesn't
- 58:50Speaker 2: show up for anything, which is probably true.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Maybe it's some text messages where they.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Talk textout it, or maybe like the times where he
- 58:57Speaker 2: just doesn't answer her calls and so she ends up
- 58:59Speaker 2: having Loua for the weekend anyway, so Aiden's not actually
- 59:03Speaker 2: following through with his custody. So like maybe that was
- 59:06Speaker 2: the evidence, but like, if you had a written agreement
- 59:10Speaker 2: where he signed and said, I will give up my
- 59:13Speaker 2: child support so you can move to Myrtle Beach, I
- 59:16Speaker 2: relinquished my custody, it would have been no contest. The
- 59:19Speaker 2: judge would have been like, fuck you, Aiden, you signed
- 59:21Speaker 2: this agreement so you don't get no emergency custody. But no,
- 59:25Speaker 2: she's dumb, so now she has to fight with this fuckhead.
- 59:29Speaker 2: And she even says at the end of the episode, like,
- 59:31Speaker 2: we're spending so much money on all of these lawyers,
- 59:34Speaker 2: and imagine if we just use that money for Luca,
- 59:37Speaker 2: like or set up a college fund for him, he
- 59:39Speaker 2: would have so much money. Like she's actually so much money.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And that's the lament of many divorcing and divorced people. Yep,
- 59:45Speaker 1: the amount of money that it takes to negotiate these
- 59:49Speaker 1: types of arrangements. But I was just, I was just
- 59:54Speaker 1: I kind of laughed a little bit. I mean, she's crying,
- 59:57Speaker 1: she's going off on her father as she always does,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and her father is just enabling her, putting up with
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: her tantrums. But like she's pulling out into traffic, she's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: getting honked at, but she's really really upset. She starts
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to cry. She tells us that she doesn't ask him
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: for a thing, she doesn't want anything from Aiden. Well
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that doesn't matter if you don't want anything from Aiden. Yep,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: it's about Luca. It's about this child. I wouldn't be
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: a bit surprised if she did relocate to Altuna, Pennsylvania,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: which I don't believe she ended up doing. I don't believe,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: so maybe I'm wrong, Please correct me if I am.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: But if she did move back to Altuna with Luca,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I don't think Aiden would even exercise his custody rights.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: No.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I honestly think he's just doing this to fuck with her.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: But she's been so casual about it and dumb about
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: it that she's gonna have to let him.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I know. And that's what sucks about it, because I
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: think she genuinely does have Luca's best interest at heart,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: like she wants to give him a good life. No,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: I think she does.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: She's with another man though, well, but she's completely discarded Aiden.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Well, She's tried to Aiden to be included in his life.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Aiden's the one that just doesn't give a fuck, doesn't
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: answer her calls, doesn't actually show up for custody. So
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: like it's all Aiden. I think. I know, Jenna's like
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: a dramatic little brat. I get that, but like I
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: think she's trying with a fuck head like Aiden and
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: JJ who like actually cares about Luca and actually does
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: want to be a father figure in it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I do believe that.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: So I think Aiden's totally being petty for why, I
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: don't know why. I would love to watch some.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Of the earlier you know, he was always such an aspect.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I would love to see that he was so terrible
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to her.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: God, he's such a piece of dog shit.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: But this is what happens when we lay down with people,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: and this is why we need to be teaching children
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: like what sex said is really about it. It's not
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: just about the peepee goes in the Vegigi. It is
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: about like, okay, but the choice that you make when
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you lie down with somebody, if something happens, and there's
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: always a risk that it can. Hello, this is eighteen
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: to twenty. For the rest of your life, you're gonna
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: be connected to this person. There's financial ramifications. Let's talk
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: about it. Kids. Yeah, we don't teach kids about practicalities
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: in life. Are about check books or anything?
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So here we are, Jenna. This is the consequences of
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: your action.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Sorry, girl, But we'll see how that goes. Because I
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: think she's actually in myrtle now, like I think she's
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: like with JJ and they've got another kid because she's
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: also I think there's like a pregnancy scare in this season.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I think she actually is pregnant with JJ's big headed kid.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: So I don't know, it's gonna be really dramatic, but
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: we'll see how how it plays out. Yes, do we
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: want to talk about the preview? Yeah? Right, sure, Lily
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: is yelling at Lawrence about his bachelor party having stupers.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Nobody gives a shit. Yeah, JJ wants to fight Aiden,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: which I would love to see. That'd be so great.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Okay, two mediocre, skinny white boys duking it out. Okay,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I mean I'm into I'm air Force.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: I'm totally down. Anaya is worried that Daday's gonna cheat
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: in the Air Force because she says all men cheat,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: which I'm like, that's something you get from your mom.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: That's some toxic but also it is true. Well, I
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: mean both, I guess, but I feel like if your
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: husband was in the military, he wouldn't cheat. He's a
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: man of integraty, that's true.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: But a lot of those guys aren't. And a lot
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: of those women at home aren't either, that's true.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Yeah. And then we also have Kaylee probably needing an
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: emergency C section, just like Emily. Yeah, so I'm worried
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: about her.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Because she's little, She's very little.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: I feel bad for her.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's traumatic. Arth is traumatic. Well, it was very entertaining.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I certainly enjoyed Welcome to platform, as I always do. Yes,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and you know what unexpected is keeping my interest. I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: watched that shit last week. I was prepared to talk
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: about it, but we wished it too, And yeah, I'm
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: interested to see what happens throughout this season, so I
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: do think we should continue to cover it. Yeah, we're
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a little bit bored. I think we'd have to force
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: us to do it weekly, just a little ten to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: fifteen minutes. Remind me, I will remind you, Yeah, my darling.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All right, is there anything else that we need to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: say to these beautiful raccoons before we get up on
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: ata here?

- 1:04:08Speaker 1: today to make a screenshot of our most recent podcast

- 1:04:13Speaker 1: you guys been, And like, as if we haven't been postman,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: we have been posting, and you know who you are,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: and we love a raccoon in Rochester, New York. By
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the way, but I noticed we have like four point
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: seven percent on Apple or Podstars, I don't know, yeah stars,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: and I think we have like three hundred and sixty reviews,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: which is, by the way, not nearly enough. Yeah, and honestly,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: every single review that you make Raccoon really makes a
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: difference to us. It gets us featured in an algorithm somewhere.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I assume I'm a boomer. I don't know these things, honey,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: but please make sure you do leave those reviews because
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: they really really make a difference. Now we will be
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: back next week, of course, honey, to talk about Sister Wives.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: We're still in season five. We're going to be getting
