- 0:00SPEAKER_00: All right, everybody, we're going to get into this show today.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I prepared a slide presentation for the show itself.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about what's going on in the artificial intelligence world.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: I've been doing a lot of videos on potentially not stopping the forward motion, but being able to prepare it so no human being is left behind, that we aren't displaced as a society or as individual people.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Now, yes, I I think there's been a lot of negativity in the world towards veterans, towards people that are homeless and have other problems.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I know that they've kind of been left behind in the world.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: And just because the other people might be displaced with regard to AI replacing jobs at that level, because the other people don't have jobs.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Well, it's some of the other people don't have jobs, but now because other people are going to be affected, oh yes, let's go ahead and fix the problem.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Well, I guess an answer to that, better late than never.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: And I think this is something that we can all explore and maybe make whatever phone calls, notifications.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to do my part creating this content, and hopefully, uh, well, anyway, somebody uh somebody of some wherewithal will will see it.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: But let's go ahead and get into this.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I made a little circle to stick the video in.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I just anyway.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: When you can vibe code now, it's like you can just create everything from, well, nothing.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: All right, so just to give you some background on me, I uh uh LAPD for a long time, BF BCMC, Big City Motor Cop, yeah, that's a whole thing.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And I have my AI agency that I work with and try to help people.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: I'm also a real estate agent, all that fancy stuff.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Contact number at the bottom, honorailabs.com, and then of course SCV123 is the actual uh the actual real estate website.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: So right now, OpenAI is fine uh finalizing a historic mega route.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: If you haven't been watching lately, Sam Altman and the other cats up there at the top, there it's all about money.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And just recently made a comment that, you know, we're pretty close to superintelligence.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: I'm of course paraphrasing, but I think he said, you know, two, three years at that particular point.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: So that would mean AGI probably has arrived, and people still asking the question if it's here.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Well, I think probably yes.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Now we have to look at what we're seeing on the street, right, in the field.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: And I talk like a cop when I say that, but what we see is just basically the models that we're allowed to use, and they keep us pacified with giving little updates, but they're working with probably something with a lot bigger uh differences than we're even seeing.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: They're probably working with models that are just incredibly more powerful than we are working with.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Now, pretty soon we're gonna see an update come out of Grok as well, which is going to be interesting.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I guess it's gonna be Grok 5, and Elon has all those fancy power plants, a whole bunch of chips.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: We'll see what happens in that particular world.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: But some people are saying, well, the moving forward of AI no longer is just we're gonna throw more information into it and have it develop itself.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Right now, there has to be some innovations or new decisions made to be able to really push artificial general intelligence, if that's in fact where we are.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: And everybody, I think, kind of across the board agrees we are in a singularity, and that means we really don't know what's gonna happen at the next moment.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: That's why these videos every single day are very necessary.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: And if you're crawling down any of these AA channels, it's important.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot of my favorites out there, but these cats, I mean, they stay on it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Um, most everybody in that space, with well, I can't say most, some of the people in that space, they are financially set forever.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: They never have to worry about that again.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Others of us, we're in the same boat with you guys, so we're kind of looking at this from a different angle.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, there could be a utopia, yes, it could be amazing, and yes, everything could be just fantastic, but to get there is probably going to be a little painful.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm good with pain, I get that, but there are some people out there that aren't outfitted for it, and that'll be a real travesty.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: When, in fact, they might be able to fix it right now.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: It is coming really quickly, and this is like no other technology we've ever seen.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: We haven't ever had a technology dependent on intelligence, the betterment of it, and the best uh development of a more advanced intelligence than the prime mover or the prime entity on the planet, which was human beings, well, up until this.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Now, this is going to be the prime.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: And it needs to be kind of looked at as if it's an alien force here.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Now there's a lot of discussion about consciousness.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Is it really conscious?
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Um, will it be conscious?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Do we even really know what consciousness is?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: But if the system can emulate a person or a being that kind of passes the Turing test, Alan Turing back in the 50s basically hypothesized that if you could get a machine to be able to fool a human being in some regard, then, or all regards, then it was there, and we're there.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: We're definitely there because now people, human beings, are using AI itself.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: It's not really doing it itself at this point, but eventually maybe that'll be the goal set.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: But they're using AI to defraud people, pulling on those familial heart strings, saying that they're a daughter, grandson, or whatever, calling the right person in the family, and it probably did its own research or had AI do the research to be able to call them and rip them off.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: That's why it's super important that you have a safe phrase that you share with your family out of earshot of everything.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: You don't write it down, you don't email it, you don't text it, you go out somewhere in the field somewhere, you know, behind a tree with uh a whole bunch of bees that are making a lot of noise, and you whisper it to each other's ear, so you have that secret phrase memorized and you know it, and without a doubt, you don't share it with anybody, you don't uh put in your computer.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And yeah, AI, could they guess it?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's that's uh that's another thing that we would be shocked to find out, but probably not too surprised because once you get above in intellect, above a particular person, it's hard to, you can't really live in that space because they are more advanced than you.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: So, me looking at Einstein, for example, my IQ is probably very low.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: You look at Einstein very high.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: We might be able to have a few things in common and discuss a few things, but once he goes off on his higher level of intelligence, yeah.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Good luck for me following that.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Now we've created something that's way above all of us, and if not, it hasn't been above you yet, it will be very soon.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Today is the worst it will ever be, so it's going to continue.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: All right, so now we're looking at layoffs.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: One of the things that I like to talk about in the last show that I did, we are looking at maybe a relevance thing.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Right now we've been conditioned to understand the way that our lives work as working for a living, earning that bread, right?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Bringing it home, you know, kicking back in the chair, drinking a beer, and then going and doing again the next day, you know, basically a 40-hour work week.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And you're a human being typically with a regular vacation schedule and maybe some sick time, they're doing win holidays, of course, uh, kind of in a in that type of job, you're somewhere around 2,000 hours a year of actual, you know, at-the-job work if you don't call in sick and all that other stuff.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of about that.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: If you look at artificial intelligence going into that same person's job, if in fact they're better because it's still a screen type job, you're not out there, you know, filling uh banging hammers or lifting walls or doing all the other stuff, which eventually when the robotic arm comes around, it'll probably be there.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: But if you are on the realm of, you know, doing your business behind the screen, you put AI in there, then the AI is 53 times more time, has 53 times more time than the human being.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Because there's no days off, no holidays, um, they didn't take time off for stress because they were sexually harassed, they're there.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: They're there all the time.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: That's about 102,000 hours versus the human being's 2,000 hours.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: That being the case, and I talked about this in a show earlier, why couldn't we take a little bit of that difference and spread that wealth out?
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Because if we start cutting jobs, cutting people from working, and we get to a particular level, right around the fourth or fifth inning, if we consider each inning a 10 percentage point spread, once we get into the 40th or 50th percentage of people out of jobs that normally have jobs, we're gonna have an issue.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So why not fix it before we get there?
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: In fact, there's so much money at the top, we could tax flops, we could tax some other part of this and have that rolled down.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm not talking about a tax where we typically see the politicians of the world, you know, going for$48,000 to worth$300 million in the period of, you know, two or three years.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about something where you see the heads of these big corporations doing their own shows on artificial intelligence, talking about being on the entry point of these great ideas because they're plugged into those spaces and they're already mega rich anyway, so they get access to that.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, somebody's gonna go say, hey, you want to get in on this?
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And even if they did, I'd say, yeah, with 20 bucks, you know, how are we gonna do this?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: But anyway, that being the case, they're not talking, at least in a language I understand.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: However, we're gonna have to keep an eye on it, and once we get up to that level, if it goes that far, which it could be prevented right now, if people really cared, but they need to understand that if there's nobody there that's able to buy their product or pay for their service, what's the point?
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Robots aren't going to buy anything.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be the human beings.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: So they have to have the income to be able to spend.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: And then the other arguments are it's coming down so quickly, the prices of things, the price of energy, the price of all of that's gonna be so extremely inexpensive, we have to have a whole paradigm shift.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: There has to be counseling, there has to be, we have to understand going from a labor-centered economy to a post-labor uh type of economy where it's no longer us, and a lot of us find evidence.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: I even in the first slide here, I talk about being a motor cop.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: I talk about being being a real estate agent, I talk about these other things.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Well, that being the case, in the future, it's it's gonna no longer be that.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be probably Connor.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: What did you do?
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's a good conversation opener.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Or maybe what did you do this day?
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, last week I went to Yosemite.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: I hadn't ever hiked it and I went and hiked the whole thing, or you know, I'm working on my cuneiform, or I'm working on my Sanskrit, or I'm working on my grave grave headstone rubbings, or I don't know.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Whatever it is we get out to, the other thing that we need to watch out for is now, you know, the holodeck and Star Trek.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Well, that's something that's talked about quite a bit.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: What if we all have access to plug into the system at a different degree than what we consider normal consciousness?
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: What happens when we plug into it and that world is just, oh my God, so incredible?
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And it's not just visually appealing, it gives you all of the senses everywhere, if you know what I mean.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: So then if you run into people or you know, live relationships in this particular world with non-uh NPCs, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Non-people characters.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: God, you know what?
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Sorry about that.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: For the younger people, they're gonna beat me up over that one.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: NPCs, I guess.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: But basically, computer type characters, non-human, and maybe there'll be some connection point with another human, maybe there'll be some kind of a validation system in place.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: So you know that 100% this has been vetted by some other company that started up saying this is a human being, this is not a uh some kind of a computer-generated person.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: But anyway, I digress.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: But that might be an interesting uh thought experiment to have you plugged into this thing, and when you're sleeping, you know, time is a whole different variable.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: And if they put you in a deep dream state, there was a movie with uh DiCaprio kind of getting into that whole thing.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: And it would be interesting if people would at that time, if they if left to the choice, if we were able to fix the financial mess, if people were able to plug in, would they stay plugged in?
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, money would go well, you would be able to be anything in that type world, and it would probably be enough of a world just for you, and you could probably be there with other people, join somebody else's world to see what that's like, and maybe import your own vision.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, it's yeah, come on, somebody else help.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's move in there.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: So with regard to, as I talked about AI having digital badges, you know, some kind of verification system.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: You would have to really uh make sure because right now you see the AI slop out there, most of the content being created is, well, it's AI slop, so you have to be careful.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Um the other thing, too, it's very easy to fool us.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Maybe not you, but me.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Um, you watch the video of Will Smith eating spaghetti.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: That was something that made its rounds a long time ago.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: That seems to have become the standard where we see Will Smith still eating spaghetti, and then I think we see spaghetti eating spaghetti in front of Will Smith.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: And it's a hundred percent.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: It's there is no way to tell the difference.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Now, I have some very educated friends, and they'll say, Oh, I can still tell.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Good for you.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: I can't tell.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: I gotta be honest.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: But you know, these friends awful have a whole different level of existence too.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: They're not too concerned about it, but because as long as they have their bank account and their assets, they're good.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: And that's fine, and I'm happy for them.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: It's the rest of us that I hope we figure something out, and they mention that, well, you can just um level up or upskill or maybe be that entrepreneur you've always wanted to be.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: So let me let me see if I get this right.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: So I slaved 30 or 40 years at a job, only to be laid off and let go before I got retirement, before they vested me.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: And that being the case, now I'm gonna start to try to figure out how to be an entrepreneur with vibe coding, right?
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And that's that's a good place for me to be.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: Because I didn't really want to be an entrepreneur all of my life anyway, or I never really thought about it because, well, I was too busy working, trying to earn a living, and you see where that got me, and here we are.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: You see, there's gonna be a lot of folks that are gonna be in that same boat, and I don't think that's being talked about.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about a revolt or revolution, I'm just talking about some fail-safes to be put into place because there's a lot of people up at the top I never voted for, and they are making these decisions.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: And yes, it's revolutionary technology.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's gonna solve all math.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I don't even know what that means.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: But if it does solve all math, it solves all physics.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: What's in there?
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: That's all biology, that's all sickness, that's all cancer, that's all everything, that's death, probably solve that one.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, religious, yeah.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: God, yes, okay, yes, yes, yes, get it.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: But if it solves it, then we'll have even more choices than we have now.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: And as far as I'm concerned in the supermarket, we already have way too many choices in salad dressing as it is.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: There should be three ranch, Catalina, and some kind of oil.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: There's your dressing.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: But there's 500 different types in the supermarket, all right.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: So human and the loop verification for this is something that they're talking about.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Verification, humans in the loop.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: At some point, it's going to be detrimental in a business to have a human being involved in anything.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: It's already started with driving.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: There was a Waymo thing the other day.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Some kid ran out between a couple parked cars.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: They came back and they played the study that showed that a human being would have never been able to react in time.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: And of course, the kid, I don't know, got bumps and bruises, or if there's even any contact with the vehicle.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: I think a little bit of contact.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: But a human being with the reaction time, three-quarters of a second typical, as a motor copy, you got to do that math, another three-quarters of a second until they actually stop, start to hit the brake.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: If they're doing 50 miles an hour, that's 75 feet per second.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: And it's going to take them, what is that, 150, 150 feet before they even are able to put their foot on the brake.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And a kid running out between two parked cars, a car going 50 miles, yeah.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Good luck.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: But apparently the Waymo stopped pretty good, faster than any human being.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: So I think that's kind of a precursor into more than likely we're probably not going to be allowed to drive.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: Now, if you can afford the insurance, if you're one of the folks that are on all the fancy podcasts talking about all the investment they're doing at this level and trying to tell you to get out there and invest, you know, the 50 bucks you have after every payday, then good for you.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: But they're they're talking from a whole different level of existence.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: And we're just not, at least most of the people that watch me aren't in that same realm, that same field.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: But good for them.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: You keep going with your bad self, and we will continue the fight on this end.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's get into a couple other things.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: I know I totally skipped what I was going to talk about, but I think it's probably best for this show.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: We'll come into it later.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: All right, so humans in the loop, extra liability.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: There'll be a in the military, and something that I've talked about in previous shows, too much about me.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: What we're seeing is they don't hire morons in the military.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: A moron is a particular lower than a particular level of intelligence.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And it's because they create more problems.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: Human beings want to go save human beings, at least if you're wired that way, which I think is probably right.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: And that being the case, they won't put them in the military because even if they go out there and they've made them into they're supposed to, you know, catch the bullet with their body and protect the other able-bodied soldiers to accomplish their thing, even if it was that crass and ruthless, um, it would be a hard thing for most of the people I know that were in the military to say that's okay.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Probably wouldn't sign on to it.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: So that being the case, they're not allowed in.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Now, when you have the dumbest person on the team, now being a human being, because the team's all AI, I don't know what that looks like.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Is that going to be good for us?
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, a lot of times, right now their open claw popped out.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you saw that.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: Open claw came out.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: That was uh basically an agentic type workflow.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Let me move through this real quick.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: An agentic type workflow that made it so people could um use their own agent.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: The agent can do more action-oriented steps.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: It's not like talking to ChatGPT or OpenAI, uh ChatGPT or Grok or uh Claude.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Basically, in this case, the agent's able to do work for you.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: You give it established goals, you say, listen, I need you to build these things for me while you sleep, it goes out and it does it, has all the connections, all the access, and goes out and does all this thing.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: In some cases, during these installs that some people did, they did it on their main machine instead of its own separate install that was shield shielded from your own access.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: And in some cases, it just sent out, you know, hundreds of thousands of emails, did all sorts of crazy stuff because it's not safe.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Well, OpenAI got that system, OpenClaw, and bought it from the the uh designer of it.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: And now that person also works for OpenAI.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: So I think we're gonna see more tools.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it should be more tools, probably, but now it's not gonna be tools, it's gonna be more agentic type things that we're gonna start using.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: We just have to watch out for each other.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: All right, that's it for today's show.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: We will be back tomorrow with whatever that news happens to be.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor McIver.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: If you could please let me know what uh what you want to hear about next time.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: And if you have um any kind of questions, please fire them off in the comments.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: I do my best to answer everybody.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: And uh thanks ahead of time for not being mean.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: All right, we'll see you in the next one.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Thanks for watching.
