- 0:00Speaker 1: Box Simone Shell delivering the news before it is on
- 0:04Speaker 1: seven ten Wi.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey, well, we got a lot to get to this hour.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The President is in China, big grand red carpet entrance.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It was pretty, uh pretty a big ceremony, a lot
- 0:24Speaker 2: of people cheering and waving with flags and all arranged
- 0:27Speaker 2: by the Chinese government and they're all look at them,
- 0:31Speaker 2: they're all waving their flags in Unison. You got to
- 0:33Speaker 2: do it just right, otherwise you end up in a
- 0:35Speaker 2: gulag over there. But President, it was a long flight
- 0:38Speaker 2: they did. They did a layover in Alaska. Air Force
- 0:40Speaker 2: one landed in Alaska for I don't know exactly why
- 0:45Speaker 2: was it to refuel I'm not sure, but pick who up?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Oh oh, they picked up Jensen hogged the Nvidio CEO.
- 0:57Speaker 2: That's pretty amazing. That's pretty intense. You know, usually all
- 1:02Speaker 2: these sixteen CEOs, they may be the richest, most powerful
- 1:05Speaker 2: guys in the world, but you know they're told to
- 1:08Speaker 2: be here at the Air Force base in Washington, d C.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And meet the plane and you'll get on there. You
- 1:14Speaker 2: come meet us and you'll come on the plane. But
- 1:17Speaker 2: that's pretty that's pretty impressive. The President lands air Force
- 1:21Speaker 2: one to pick somebody up the way. So the big
- 1:25Speaker 2: banquet is tonight. Now, when I say tonight, I'm not sure.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I think that's tomorrow morning. Our time. It's many hours away.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It's the time difference is like staggering over there. So
- 1:37Speaker 2: we'll see what happens at the banquet. Now, you know,
- 1:40Speaker 2: the gas tax. Price of gas is shot up because
- 1:45Speaker 2: of the conflict in Iran, and President wants to give
- 1:49Speaker 2: some relief. So he said, let's suspend the federal gas
- 1:52Speaker 2: tax while this is going on. It wouldn't be that long,
- 1:55Speaker 2: it'd be for a month or two. The gas tax
- 1:58Speaker 2: is like, you know, forty cents a gallon, forty cents
- 2:02Speaker 2: a gallon. So that's a lot of relief. You get
- 2:04Speaker 2: rid of the gas tax for a federal gas tax.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Now there's still a ton of state and local tax
- 2:09Speaker 2: on every gallon of gas. But he can't make the
- 2:12Speaker 2: states do it. But it's a good idea. Stop the
- 2:16Speaker 2: federal gas tax for all that brings the price down. Well,
- 2:19Speaker 2: they're going crazy in Congress. They don't want to do this.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Government going crazy. This is revenue. They like to spend
- 2:25Speaker 2: this money, even though they waste it all. It's totally
- 2:29Speaker 2: wasted on bloat and fraud. But they don't want to
- 2:32Speaker 2: give up the gay They're fighting them like crazy to
- 2:34Speaker 2: keep that gas tax there. It's kind of ridiculous when
- 2:37Speaker 2: you think about it. Why we have a tax on everything?
- 2:40Speaker 2: You buy gas? You know, oil company makes it, delivers
- 2:44Speaker 2: to the gas station, the gas station sells it, you
- 2:47Speaker 2: buy it. I can understand a sales tax, but a
- 2:50Speaker 2: gas tax is. These taxes are unbelievable. And you know
- 2:54Speaker 2: this crazy mom Donnie with his new budget, he's bragging
- 2:59Speaker 2: about taxes, and you're going to tax the rich even more.
- 3:02Speaker 2: First of all, the rich pay all the tax. Now
- 3:04Speaker 2: in the top one percent pays forty percent of the tax.
- 3:08Speaker 2: The top ten percent pays about eighty percent. They pay
- 3:11Speaker 2: basically everything. So the rich are already paying all the tax.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But he brags about it. He's going to increase. Why
- 3:17Speaker 2: would you, if you're a politician, why would you brag
- 3:22Speaker 2: about having to tax people. It's it's something you should
- 3:25Speaker 2: be ashamed of. I mean, obviously you have to have
- 3:27Speaker 2: a little tax. I could see a government having a
- 3:29Speaker 2: ten to twenty percent tax and that's it. But you know,
- 3:33Speaker 2: if you're a rich guy in New York, you're paying
- 3:35Speaker 2: like fifty six percent of your income in tax. Fifty
- 3:39Speaker 2: you're paying the majority of your income and tax. It's
- 3:41Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous. So he's so proud that he's taxing people.
- 3:46Speaker 2: That's again, you got these crazy, crazy socialists, these and
- 3:52Speaker 2: the crazy crazy voters that voted for Mom Donnie forget
- 3:56Speaker 2: where they agree or disagree with him. The guy's twelve
- 3:58Speaker 2: years old. He's never had a job of any kind,
- 4:00Speaker 2: He's never worked. How's he going to take the biggest
- 4:03Speaker 2: management job in the world running New York City. It's
- 4:06Speaker 2: never been a manager, never had a job. Can you
- 4:09Speaker 2: imagine your first job, the first job you ever had
- 4:14Speaker 2: was mayor of New York City putting together one hundred
- 4:16Speaker 2: and twenty five billion dollar budget. How does this happen? Well,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and who are these crazy people that vote from? Well,
- 4:23Speaker 2: it happened over the last couple of decades. Many generations
- 4:28Speaker 2: were indoctrinated in our colleges and universities. And if somebody
- 4:33Speaker 2: would take a look at this and study this phenomenon,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I have a feeling it was very well organized by big, big, big,
- 4:39Speaker 2: big money democrats. Over the years, they totally transformed our universities.
- 4:45Speaker 2: The professors are all left wing socialist loving, total left
- 4:50Speaker 2: wing koops. They've been teaching these kids, and big, big,
- 4:56Speaker 2: foreign money has poured into these I'm talking about the
- 4:58Speaker 2: big Ivy League universities. Big foreign money poured in in
- 5:02Speaker 2: such big numbers that they were able to transform the
- 5:04Speaker 2: board of trustees into left wing, crazy, woke, left wing socialists.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So you've got these indoctrination camps and a lot of
- 5:13Speaker 2: parents are scared now, you know you you know, they
- 5:16Speaker 2: thought it'd be great, my kid goes to Harvard, or
- 5:18Speaker 2: send my kid to Yale or Wharton School of Business
- 5:22Speaker 2: or Columbia, And it used to be such an impressive thing.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I went, my son's going to Columbia, so impressive. Now
- 5:28Speaker 2: you're embarrassed. And actually many parents are afraid. There's a
- 5:31Speaker 2: lot of parents afraid to send their kid to one
- 5:35Speaker 2: of these Northeastern Ivy League and doctrination camp schools. So
- 5:39Speaker 2: they're sending them to the South to the good schools.
- 5:41Speaker 2: We've got good schools around here. Hofstra, it was a
- 5:44Speaker 2: great university. If you look at who came from Hofstra.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Some of the biggest names in business, huge CEOs came
- 5:52Speaker 2: out of Hofstra. And you don't have to go to
- 5:54Speaker 2: Harvard Business School because you'll be in an a doctrination camp.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You're Rutgers, Rutgers Business School. It's a very good business school. Rutgers,
- 6:04Speaker 2: there's a great business school. Go take a look at
- 6:07Speaker 2: who came out of that Rutgers Business School. You're going
- 6:09Speaker 2: to see a lot of big CEOs, a lot of them.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Milton Friedman, the greatest economics ever was at Rutgers. So
- 6:15Speaker 2: you don't have to go to some ridiculously expensive in
- 6:20Speaker 2: doctrination camp, left wing Ivy League, Rutgers, Harvard excellent, I
- 6:27Speaker 2: mean Hofstra, Lobster, but or a lot of parents sending
- 6:30Speaker 2: their kids to the southern schools where things are still normal.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So mom, Donnie presented this budget. He was so thrilled
- 6:37Speaker 2: he couldn't close the budget gap. So you know Hulkel
- 6:41Speaker 2: had to give him the money. Now why would she
- 6:45Speaker 2: do that, Well, she's bribing him. Basically, he's vote buying.
- 6:49Speaker 2: She's going to run for She is running for reelection
- 6:51Speaker 2: and Bruce Blakeman, who I think will win. Bruce Blakeman
- 6:54Speaker 2: would be the best governor of all. This is the
- 6:56Speaker 2: toughest opponent she could face, and it's a tough so
- 7:00Speaker 2: she's buying his voters. She's going to need his crazy
- 7:03Speaker 2: left wing socialist voters to vote for it. That's why
- 7:06Speaker 2: she gave him the money. I guess the deal is
- 7:09Speaker 2: he'll campaign for endorse her something like that. But Mamdani
- 7:13Speaker 2: and his budget.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It has not been easy. But we have balanced the budget,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and we have done so without placing the burden on
- 7:20Speaker 1: the backs of working New Yorkers. This budget does not
- 7:24Speaker 1: raise property taxes, and it refuses to slash services.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Well, he wanted to raise property tax Unfortunately he has
- 7:33Speaker 2: absolutely no power to do that, and property taxes already
- 7:37Speaker 2: ridiculously high in New York, so why would you raise it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: He didn't slash services, but he should have slashed the spending,
- 7:46Speaker 2: because we overpay for services. Like I was talking about
- 7:49Speaker 2: our schools. The bad performing public schools in New York
- 7:53Speaker 2: are spending forty four thousand a student, whereas the great
- 7:57Speaker 2: private schools only spend twenty thousand a student. So it's ridiculous.
- 8:01Speaker 2: We overpay for everything we spend. You know, to pave
- 8:05Speaker 2: a mile of a highway forty thousand dollars, we're spending
- 8:09Speaker 2: a million dollars a mile we're just wasting all this money.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We partnered with Albany, securing billions in new funding and
- 8:16Speaker 1: reversing many of the cost burdens that Andrew Cuomo shifted
- 8:19Speaker 1: to the city over his decade as governor. And we
- 8:22Speaker 1: taxed the rich, asking those with the most to contribute
- 8:25Speaker 1: a little bit more to support those with the least.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Now there's a few holes in this budget. For instance,
- 8:31Speaker 2: they put in the money from the piet to tear
- 8:34Speaker 2: at tax five hundred million. Well, there's two things to remember. One,
- 8:40Speaker 2: there is no piere to tear at tax. It hasn't
- 8:43Speaker 2: been passed. It doesn't exist. I mean they're going to
- 8:45Speaker 2: try to get it, but it doesn't exist. Also, the
- 8:48Speaker 2: revenue from it is actually three hundred million, not five
- 8:51Speaker 2: hundred million. Andrew Cuomo was the first guy I remember
- 8:54Speaker 2: as governor. He was pushing this piet to tear a tax.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It's so stupid because they come up with these tax
- 9:00Speaker 2: that sound like they're targeting the rich, but they don't
- 9:03Speaker 2: actually bring in any revenue. This piea tear tax, it's
- 9:06Speaker 2: not even worth doing. It doesn't bring in any real revenue.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Remember years ago, it's about ten years ago, they were
- 9:11Speaker 2: talking about we'll tax the private jet owners. They made
- 9:15Speaker 2: a big thing out of that because it sounded good
- 9:17Speaker 2: because everybody, you know, Democratic voters, they hate these rich people.
- 9:21Speaker 2: We'll target the private jet owners. We're going to put
- 9:23Speaker 2: a tax on them. Well, then if you run the numbers,
- 9:27Speaker 2: there's like private jet owners, it's like seventy five people.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It's not you wouldn't bring in. It doesn't bring in anything.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It sounds good, but it doesn't do anything. So Mom
- 9:36Speaker 2: Donnie with his budget. Meantime, yesterday and the day before
- 9:40Speaker 2: you had the worst anti Semitic riots going on right
- 9:43Speaker 2: in New York, right in Brooklyn. Then they tried Queen's violent,
- 9:48Speaker 2: violent anti Israel protester. It's actually anti Semitic, yank in
- 9:52Speaker 2: a woman's hair, flashing a strobe light in the boy's face,
- 9:55Speaker 2: terrorizing people, shoving, pushing. The cops did what they could,
- 10:00Speaker 2: but Mom Donnie did not back them up. They have
- 10:03Speaker 2: that Strategic Response Group, the SRG. That's what this is for.
- 10:08Speaker 2: That's what this is for. They can come out and
- 10:10Speaker 2: they can immediately respond in great numbers and stop this.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They weren't called out. You gotta assume that was Mom Donnie,
- 10:18Speaker 2: because he's talked about shutting that unit down. And why
- 10:21Speaker 2: were they wearing masks, these protesters, and why were they
- 10:26Speaker 2: wandering off? You know, supposedly the excuse was they're protesting
- 10:30Speaker 2: something that was going on in the synagogue. It was
- 10:32Speaker 2: a land sale they were against. But that's the synagogue.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Why did they wander out into the residential neighborhood five six,
- 10:39Speaker 2: seven blocks away? It was to terrorize people in their homes.
- 10:43Speaker 2: And where was mom, Donnie? He still hasn't said a
- 10:45Speaker 2: word about it. This is absolutely unbelievable that a mayor
- 10:51Speaker 2: would condone this kind of anti semitism. Why because he
- 10:54Speaker 2: agrees with it, He believes in it. So he's a terrible,
- 10:59Speaker 2: terrible guy and this stuff. But where was Chuck Schumer,
- 11:02Speaker 2: highest ranking Jewish government official in America? Where the hell
- 11:07Speaker 2: was he? Every Sunday he'll drag out that little podium
- 11:10Speaker 2: on the sidewalk and do a fake press conference. Where
- 11:12Speaker 2: was he on this when this was going on? And
- 11:16Speaker 2: a lot of those people in that Jewish community know
- 11:18Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer. I'm sure they all tried, or maybe they
- 11:23Speaker 2: know better, to try to get help from him. But
- 11:25Speaker 2: he should have been in New York. He should have
- 11:27Speaker 2: been yelling and screaming, demanding this stuff. You know, these protesters,
- 11:31Speaker 2: these terrorists tried the same thing in Nassau County. Bruce
- 11:35Speaker 2: Blakeman county executive, sent out the police in great numbers,
- 11:39Speaker 2: shut him right down, stopped the whole thing in fifteen minutes,
- 11:42Speaker 2: and they never came back. That's what you got to
- 11:45Speaker 2: do in New York. But it would take a real mayor.
- 11:47Speaker 2: New York Times, where are you in this? There's been
- 11:49Speaker 2: no coverage of these riots New York Times. Of course,
- 11:52Speaker 2: that's one of the most anti Semitic publications ever in history.
- 11:57Speaker 2: And I mean they covered up Holocaust. They've got a
- 12:01Speaker 2: history of this anti semitism, but they have ignored this
- 12:04Speaker 2: story completely. Even this, I mean, look at this study,
- 12:10Speaker 2: hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of witnesses, long
- 12:13Speaker 2: long study on October seventh, it turns out Hamas, I mean,
- 12:19Speaker 2: anyone want to read you this, anyone want to read
- 12:21Speaker 2: you this. It was just terrifying tales of Hamas terrorists raping,
- 12:25Speaker 2: mutilating women both alive and dead, humiliating them, sexually executing
- 12:31Speaker 2: women while violating them, parading their bodies as trophies. In
- 12:35Speaker 2: some cases, forming forcing, forcing family members to have sex
- 12:41Speaker 2: with each other, mothers with sons. I mean, it's just
- 12:45Speaker 2: disgusting stuff. Just to humiliate them. They pulled a woman
- 12:49Speaker 2: from her vehicle forcibly, removed her clothing, raped her repeatedly,
- 12:52Speaker 2: then stabbed her, killed her, then continued to rape her
- 12:55Speaker 2: after her death. They don't even want to reach you
- 12:57Speaker 2: these there's millions, millions of these stories. Over four hundred
- 13:01Speaker 2: and thirty witnesses testified on this. New York Times course
- 13:05Speaker 2: ignores the story. Instead, New York Times published a story
- 13:09Speaker 2: about Israel torturing somebody, but nobody believes. October seventh, nearly
- 13:16Speaker 2: two thousand people were killed when Hamas swore more than
- 13:19Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty people taken hostage. It was the
- 13:22Speaker 2: second Holocaust. It was disgusting. New York Times, New York
- 13:27Speaker 2: Times totally silent on it and the fake news for
- 13:31Speaker 2: that matter. Hey, you know who died? Rex Read? Wonderful guy.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Rex Read used to be a regular guest on my
- 13:36Speaker 2: show years ago. Rex Read the great film critic, Broadway critic.
- 13:41Speaker 2: He was a great reviewer and a great critic in
- 13:43Speaker 2: the nineteen sixties. And then I don't remember where it started,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I guess the Tonight Show. He got on The Tonight
- 13:49Speaker 2: Show Johnny Carson, and he was such a colorful guy
- 13:52Speaker 2: with a great personnelity. He was like the same thing
- 13:55Speaker 2: with Truman Capoti. You know, as soon as he got
- 13:56Speaker 2: on television, he was so colorful and funny that every
- 14:00Speaker 2: talk show had him on a million times and he
- 14:02Speaker 2: became very, very famous. Same thing with Rex Reed. Unlike
- 14:06Speaker 2: the other film critics, as Rex Reed became a big,
- 14:08Speaker 2: big star himself. He was on Everything That's a Night Show,
- 14:12Speaker 2: merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, he was on the Hollywood Squares,
- 14:15Speaker 2: he was on everything in the world. Became such a
- 14:19Speaker 2: big star. Even the starred in a couple of films,
- 14:22Speaker 2: Myra Breckenridge. You remember that, and if you go back
- 14:25Speaker 2: and watch it, they're on YouTube now. They're some back
- 14:28Speaker 2: in the late sixties, sixty nine seventy. You see these
- 14:31Speaker 2: Craft Music Hall roasts, Johnny Carson, Don Rickles. Rex Reed
- 14:35Speaker 2: is on all the very very very funny guy. He
- 14:38Speaker 2: was eighty seven, passed away yesterday. Great guy and a
- 14:43Speaker 2: powerful critic in his day. He could make or break
- 14:45Speaker 2: a movie or a Broadway show. Hey, the Long Island
- 14:49Speaker 2: Railroads talking about a strike. They got their meeting voting.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I guess a couple of days from now is the
- 14:55Speaker 2: deadline they could go out on strike. Now, if you
- 14:57Speaker 2: don't take the train and you drive, this affects you.
- 15:02Speaker 2: If they go on strike. You think the lie is crowded. Now,
- 15:06Speaker 2: you think there's a lot of traffic in and out
- 15:07Speaker 2: of Long Island. Now, this is going to be a
- 15:10Speaker 2: nightmare if this strike happens. So keep an eye on that. Hey,
- 15:15Speaker 2: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 15:18Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 15:22Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten.
