April's Homestead Goals and Updates!
Today's episode of the podcast is all about my goals for the month of April. There's a lot of things to do in the garden, but it's really just about chugging along and continuing with my seed starting plan and watching the weather! Some of the goals I talk about specifically are:
seed starting cucumbers and head lettuces
direct sowing beans, nasturtium and dill
transplanting the remaining cold weather crops I have under grow lights
potting up and hardening off my warm weather crops
building a compost sifter
applying beneficial nematodes
