- 0:13Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawkerel Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:20new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day for
- 0:23you to become the Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:28Happy Wednesday. I know I'm uploading the episode a day later, but if
- 0:34you guys didn't see on my Instagram story, I just posted a little video
- 0:38update in terms of what's going on in my life right now. It has
- 0:42been quite hectic on my end with the wedding planning, and I'm having a
- 0:45hard time just managing work as well as managing the wedding planning stuff. And
- 0:51I know there's a lot of brides out there that are probably feeling the same
- 0:55way that I am right now, just feeling a little overwhelmed, a little
- 0:59stressed, a little just hectic. And that's okay. It's the reality of
- 1:03wedding planning. I just try and keep telling myself that this is something that
- 1:07I knew was coming where you know, a lot of money is coming out
- 1:11of my account, a lot of little tasks that you don't think about,
- 1:15and it's things that you just kind of have to do, you know,
- 1:19weeks before the wedding, and it's just the reality. So I'm really trying
- 1:23my best to manage work as well as the wedding, but sometimes, you
- 1:26know, the wedding is really the main priority right now my opinion, over
- 1:30my job. Like I am really just trying to you know, make sure
- 1:34I reach all the deadlines that I have to reach for the wedding. And
- 1:38yeah, so if I'm a little late on uploading episodes, I apologize.
- 1:42At this point. I'm just trying to get an episode up a week.
- 1:46So if you've see an episode uploaded on a Wednesday or a Thursday, like,
- 1:49it's really just because I'm you know, stuck in terms of just you
- 1:55know, submitting things that I have to submit on time for my planners or
- 1:59you know, having to get my dress alterations appointments in and making sure that
- 2:04you know, anyways, it's just like little things like that where it's like
- 2:06I have to make sure things are ready on time before we fly out in
- 2:09five or six weeks. So I literally cannot believe it. But we are
- 2:15so close to the wedding day and I'm so so excited, Like I cannot
- 2:23wait to honestly get this over with. I say that in such like a
- 2:25confident way, but I think a lot of brides can also relate. Where
- 2:30It's like it gets to a certain point where you're like, I'm just ready
- 2:32to get married. I'm done with the planning. Like, don't get me
- 2:35wrong, it has been such an enjoyable experience to do this with Zach,
- 2:38with our planners, and I've been really trying to enjoy the process, and
- 2:43I honestly have. But when you've been planning a wedding for almost a year
- 2:46and a half, I think you get to a certain point where you're like,
- 2:47Okay, I'm ready to get married. I'm ready to be husband and
- 2:51wife. Let's just pay this stuff, get it all over with, get
- 2:53the photos done, all that. Like, I just want the day to
- 2:57come so badly because we're just getting so close to it. I want to
- 3:00go on my honeymoon. I want to just enjoy the time with Zach and
- 3:02being husband and wife and focus on a new era and a new beginning with
- 3:08Zach and a new chapter. So I'm just excited to honestly get married and
- 3:13just get it over with. Like I see it like that, just because
- 3:17I'm excited and i just want the day to come already. But anyways,
- 3:21it's been such a fun process and I'm currently just working on a few episodes
- 3:25to plan before the wedding. I really want to make you guys feel like
- 3:30you are a part of the wedding day, so kind of like a behind
- 3:35the scenes that people wouldn't really get through my social media channels, whether it's
- 3:39talking about everything that we're doing the week of the wedding and spilling the tea
- 3:46about little things that we're doing, and I don't know, just like a
- 3:49lot of people won't see that through social media. I think they'll just be
- 3:51like inside scoop for the podcast Earlies. I also thought of making an episode
- 3:55with Zach just about you know, what do we expect for marriage and for
- 4:00our relationship, Like do we think this is going to change us or anything
- 4:02like that. I also plan on maybe doing our vows in an episode.
- 4:05I don't know if you guys would be interested in that, of us going
- 4:09in separate rooms and using the mic to talk for ten minutes about you know
- 4:13what I'm going to say to Zach and what Zach's going to say to me
- 4:15just to make it feel like you guys are there. I don't know,
- 4:18let me know what you guys think. I'm really trying to think of episodes
- 4:20that could be fun to do in regards to the wedding week because I want
- 4:25to post at least two wedding episodes again, just to make you guys feel
- 4:30like you guys are a part of the journey with us and that you're almost
- 4:33there. So let me know if you have any ideas. But I really
- 4:36want to try and make you guys feel like you guys are part of our
- 4:39wedding as well, because obviously you guys know so much about me, so
- 4:43much about our relationship, and I just want to feel like you guys are
- 4:46connected to the wedding day as well. So let me know if you guys
- 4:48have any ideas. But anyways, I had this idea of talking about how
- 4:53to romanticize your Hawk Girl summer for an episode today. I think the reason
- 4:57why I wanted to talk about this topic is because this weekend is a long
- 5:01weekend. It is Canada Day for my fellow Canadians, and then for the
- 5:06following weekend it is July fourth. I know a lot of my US listeners
- 5:10will also be having a long weekend the following weekend. I don't know about
- 5:13you, guys, but I feel like the first long weekend really just like
- 5:15sets in that it's summer. Like summer is here. Let's make the memories,
- 5:20let's have the best time. And of course everybody has such busy schedules
- 5:25with the summer season, but there's always things that you could do to really
- 5:28romanticize your summer by doing the little things during the week or again finding time
- 5:33on the weekends to do these fun things. So I thought I would create
- 5:35a list of things to do on how to romanticize your summer, whether it's
- 5:41the little things that you could do during the day, or things that you
- 5:44could do on the weekend with your friends or your boyfriend or your fiance,
- 5:47whatever it is. I feel like it was the perfect time to talk about
- 5:50how to romanticize your summer. I am beyond excited for this weekend because I
- 5:55am going to a cottage and I love cottage weekends. I really feel like
- 5:59it's gonna feel more and more like summer this weekend. I do feel like
- 6:02it's summer, but June has been a little weird for us here it's probably
- 6:06rained at least sixty percent of the time and forty percent of sunshine, which
- 6:11obviously I'm not complaining. Like summer has been fun so far, but I
- 6:15feel like the fun things usually happen between July and August, so I'm excited
- 6:19to, yeah, do a few more fun things for the summertime. I
- 6:24feel like June is definitely a good start to summer, but I feel like
- 6:29I haven't done much, at least in my opinion, So I feel like
- 6:30these next few weeks are going to be a bit more fun because I have
- 6:32more plans with Zach, with our friends and all that. So I thought
- 6:36I would share just some ways to romanticize your summer. The first one being
- 6:42weekly date nights with your bestie or your partner. So Zach and I have
- 6:46been making it a priority to do weekly date nights in the summer, whether
- 6:49it's going to get ice cream, going to the beach, we're doing an
- 6:53activity together, like golfing, rollerblading, just trying something new together. So
- 6:59tonight we're actually going to the beach because we're planning on getting married at a
- 7:03beach, which people don't know that, So that's the inside scoops. We're
- 7:06planning to get married a beach, so we're going to a beach to test
- 7:10it out see if we like it. And also do a little pizza night.
- 7:14And this is something we did last year and we try and do all
- 7:16the time. We try and just do little pizza beach nights. Bring some
- 7:20wine, bring freddy, put out a blanket, almost like a little picnic
- 7:24on the beach. But I don't know, I feel like being by the
- 7:27water and being in sand. I don't know. I just feel like it
- 7:30brings out so many endorphins and I feel so excited being there. I feel
- 7:35happy, And those little moments I really appreciate. And I remember those times
- 7:42with Zach of doing those little date nights or you know, going to the
- 7:45park and going to get ice cream and going on a walk with the dog,
- 7:47like something like that makes me think of summer and it is fun to
- 7:50do and it's just another way to romanticize your weekly date nights together. And
- 7:56like I said, trying something new, whether it's going you know, on
- 7:59a paddle board at the lake or kayaking, doing something they don't typically do
- 8:03together, I think is super fun. And again something that's super memorable and
- 8:07a fun summer experience to have together. And funny enough, Zach and I
- 8:13are actually going to do dance lessons, laughing because I can't believe we're doing
- 8:18it, but we're like, you know what, we need to practice at
- 8:20least twice before a wedding because I can dance somewhat like I'm not a dancer,
- 8:24but I have some rhythm. Zach, on the other hand, has
- 8:28no rhythm at all. So we are going to a dance class together for
- 8:33the first time. And I don't know, that's something new, something we've
- 8:37never done, but we're both looking forward to it because I think it's going
- 8:39to be fun to do something out of our comfort zone together. And I
- 8:43don't know, I think it's going to be educational because we both like we
- 8:48can slow dance together obviously, but obviously we're not pros. So I think
- 8:52just like learning some tips on you know, dipping and lifting and whatever the
- 8:56case may be, will be super fun to do and again, just something
- 9:01that's going to be memorable. We're trying something new, we're trying something out
- 9:03of our comfort zone. And yeah, so I don't know. I think
- 9:07weekly date nights, whether it's with your best friends or with your partner is
- 9:09a non negotiable this summer, and yeah, I think it's the perfect way
- 9:15to romanticize your summer as well. Another thing I love to do is going
- 9:18on a weekend road trip, whether it's just going to a small town for
- 9:22the day or booking a weekend getaway with your friend or your partner. I
- 9:26feel like discovering a new town close by is always fun and there's always fun
- 9:30memories being done with that. There's so many close by cities here, like
- 9:35Kingston, Brockville, just like small little towns by the water, you know,
- 9:39going to one thousand Islands. I don't know, just discovering a new
- 9:43city is so fun. We're also super close to Montreal here. For the
- 9:48girls that are from Ottawa, I love going to Montreal for the weekend.
- 9:50There are so many fun things to do. I love going shopping there.
- 9:54I love just doing all the tourist things in Montreal, being outdoors, discovering
- 9:58new space. I don't know, there's something just really fun and memorable about
- 10:03doing a little weekend trip. And as I said, if you don't want
- 10:05to spend money in a hotel, then just go for the day. Try
- 10:07and find somewhere that's super close by even doing fun little things like going to
- 10:13the zoo. I don't know, just try and find ways to spend your
- 10:16weekend doing different things. And I find a road trip is always a good
- 10:20time. You never leave a road trip and don't have a good time.
- 10:24I feel like it's always fun and it's always fun to explore a new city.
- 10:28Another thing that I love to do is going to a farmer's market or
- 10:31a flea market. I love discovering new vendors, local companies, things that
- 10:37are unique and different. I also love like homemade jewelry, homemade just unique
- 10:43pieces that people are selling. I feel like also just thrifting is fun as
- 10:46well, just finding unique things, and also just going to festivals in your
- 10:50hometown, Like whether there's a fair night going on, or a rib fest
- 10:54or a Greek fest or whatever's going on within your city is so fun to
- 11:00do on a weeknight or on a weekend. So I feel like for us,
- 11:03we always try and see what's going on in Ottawa, Like is there
- 11:07a music festival going on? Is there you know, like I said,
- 11:09a food festival going on? Like maybe we spend a night doing that.
- 11:11It's just something to get out of the house and it's something fun to do.
- 11:15I don't know, just doing fun things like that is yeah, always
- 11:18fun to do. And I love going to farmers' markets over grocery stores because
- 11:22I love getting local produce and I don't know, it's just always better.
- 11:28I feel like, get a farmer's market versus a grocery store. Another thing
- 11:31that I've been really wanting to do this summer that is the perfect way to
- 11:33romanticize a summer night is going to a drive in movie or a drive in
- 11:37sunset. And what I mean by a drive in sunset is that if you
- 11:41don't have a drive in movie theater that you can go to make it your
- 11:45own. Go find an area that you could park your truck or your car
- 11:48in, get a laptop out, play a movie, bring some blankets,
- 11:50bring some pillows, get cozy in the back of your car or your truck,
- 11:54and just make a whole ambiance out of it. Like at the end
- 11:56of the day, you get to control however you want to spend your summer,
- 12:01your night. You have full control of making things so much better.
- 12:05And this is why we romanticize things. We make things better than they actually
- 12:09are by actually putting in the effort to just really feel like your life is
- 12:13in a movie, right, Like, I know that sounds super cheesy,
- 12:16but I want my life to feel like I'm in a movie. I'm gonna
- 12:18be fully transparent, like I want to make the effort in my life to
- 12:20do things that are honestly so fun to me, and seeing things in the
- 12:24movies, I want to make it a reality. Like I truly believe that
- 12:26anything news that your mind too can be done. So go to that drive
- 12:31in movie, or create that drive in movie with your own ambiance by creating
- 12:35it yourself. Anything that you can do and you set your mind to,
- 12:37you can do. So I love the idea of, just as I said,
- 12:41doing something in the back of your car, putting blankets, grab a
- 12:45laptop. Maybe it's just like Netflix shows that you like to watch. You
- 12:48can even do stargazing. Just setting up the ambiance of something like that just
- 12:52makes things ten times more fun, ten times more enjoyable. Like I would
- 12:56rather do that than go to a regular movie theater or watch a movie in
- 13:01my living room. Like of course, I'd rather go drive in some random
- 13:05forest or random field and set up little cozy blankets, a laptop, all
- 13:11that like that to me sounds ten times more fun than just sitting on my
- 13:13living room coach. Another idea is just having a picnic with your bestie,
- 13:18whether going to a park, going to a beach, anything like that.
- 13:20It's a fun little way to a catch up with your friend. Could be
- 13:24a coffee date, it could be, you know, a lunch date,
- 13:28a dinner date. You guys, bring snacks, whatever it is, get
- 13:31all your friends together, go watch sailboats together. My sister and I we
- 13:35go to this place close by and we watch the sailboats go by, and
- 13:39we just again, bring a blanket, bring some snacks, and we literally
- 13:43just catch up and chill and watch the sailboats. And I don't know,
- 13:46I find that's fun and memorable. And instead of you know, sitting in
- 13:50her bedroom catching up, let's go outside. Let's enjoy the nice weather,
- 13:54let's enjoy a beautiful ambiance, and you know, catch up with a picnic.
- 14:00Thing that I'm always trying to do is I'm really trying to meditate more.
- 14:03And I feel like meditating outside is a whole different level than meditating inside.
- 14:11I feel like hearing nature is so healing and just hearing the sounds outside,
- 14:16the bird's chirping, all that. There's just some type of way I
- 14:18feel about nature, and I feel like meditating outside is truly the best feeling
- 14:24in the entire world. So getting a yoga mat, setting it up outside
- 14:28or if you have a deck, put it on your deck, sit outside
- 14:31for like ten to five minutes, close your eyes, take deep breaths,
- 14:35focus on your breath work listening to the noises outside. Again, you're romanticizing
- 14:41your meditation by doing it outside and doing something different instead of sitting in the
- 14:45house. Romanticize your meditation by going outside, setting up a yoga mat,
- 14:48or you know, go to the park, like, walk somewhere, sit
- 14:52on a bench, shut your eyes, maybe put a meditation session on with
- 14:56the app. Like these little things are things that you could do super easily
- 15:01the normal way, but we're trying to find ways to romanticize it and make
- 15:03it ten times better and really make you feel like you're living the dream life
- 15:07that you want to live. So basic meditation, we're leveling it up by
- 15:13doing it outside. And again it's a way to be outside more and enjoy
- 15:18the sunshine and yeah, just being in the outdoor space. Another thing that
- 15:22I've really been wanting to do is booking a solo trip. So again,
- 15:26whether it's a weekend road trip or just a day trip, you go somewhere
- 15:31and you just have some time to yourself journaling, Whether you go somewhere and
- 15:35you have time to yourself and you just journal, chill by a park,
- 15:39maybe get some work done by yourself, whatever the case may be. I
- 15:43think solo trips and solo dates in general are a non negotiable. This is
- 15:48something that you should be doing once a week, honestly, in my opinion,
- 15:52like you truly need to enjoy your own company and focusing on yourself makes
- 15:58you realize how much you love yourself. And again, sometimes people don't realize
- 16:03how much work they need to put on themselves before, you know, making
- 16:07other people happy, or just being involved in social environments or anything like that.
- 16:11I feel like everybody needs to learn to love themselves and doing solo dates,
- 16:18doing solo trips, and I think that truly just you know, journaling
- 16:21and really figuring yourself out, I think is so so important. So this
- 16:26summer, if you don't have a solo date book for yourself or just a
- 16:30solo trip or anything like that. I highly highly recommend it because yeah,
- 16:34I just think it's a non negotiable for romanticizing our summer. Another fun thing
- 16:38to do with your friends is booking like a karaoke night or a comedy show
- 16:42night. Those are always so fun and I always look forward to something like
- 16:45that, and I feel like those are like unique date ideas that you could
- 16:49do with your friends that people don't really talk about. Karaoke, it is
- 16:53always so fun, Like I feel like there's always that one person that's actually
- 16:57good at singing, and then there's the other person then that isn't good,
- 17:00but it just makes it fun because we're all doing it together and I don't
- 17:06know, it's just always a good time. And then the comedy show I
- 17:07also love to go too, because it's always fun to have a good laugh
- 17:11with your friends, and again, it's just something to do together. You
- 17:14guys know, I'm all about being in my hosting era, and I promise
- 17:18you when I am back from my wedding, I will definitely be hosting I
- 17:22guess some fall events, just because it'll be September and I feel like it'd
- 17:26be super fun to do some fun things outdoors, like whether it's a garden
- 17:29party or anything like that. But I love the idea of hosting outdoor parties,
- 17:34whether it's a pool party, a barbecue and cocktail event, a painting
- 17:38night, anything like that. Like I love the idea of hosting things.
- 17:42I am actually hosting a brunch because I'm not doing a bridle shower. But
- 17:48I thought, you know, I'll host a brunch with all the girls that
- 17:49are coming to my wedding, and at the same time, I'm giving them
- 17:53all their batcherette goodie bags. That way I don't have to travel with fourteen
- 17:57goodie bags, Like I'll give it to all the girls that are coming and
- 18:02they can just travel with it for the bats threat in Italy. But anyways,
- 18:04and I really wanted to host some type of like little brunch with them
- 18:07and do like a European theme to it, like get croissants, some fruit
- 18:11and just some champagne mimosas, like just kind of like make a fun little
- 18:15garden brunch theme. So I'm doing it in my parents' backyard. I'm going
- 18:21to use some of the stuff I got for the engagement party, like the
- 18:22white umbrellas, the white tablecloths and just kind of create a fun, little
- 18:26garden vibe to it. And yeah, I just think it'll be something really
- 18:30fun to do with my friends. And again, I just love hosting.
- 18:33I think it's such a great way to connect with your friends and you know,
- 18:37try different themes out, different fund nights together. All that another thing
- 18:41that I love. And we're actually doing this this weekend. And it just
- 18:44made me think of it when I saw my girlfriend post it in our Facebook
- 18:48group chat, and that is an Olympic outdoor tournament. So you get all
- 18:52your friends together. And again, this can just be a day thing.
- 18:55It doesn't have to be a weekend thing. But you do a outdoor game
- 19:00tournament essentially, so you have different outdoor games. We call it our outdoor
- 19:03Olympics, but basically you have different games and whether it's drinking involved or not
- 19:08doesn't really matter. But you know, whether it's doing a washer's tournament or
- 19:12you know, lawn bowling or the HACKI Sack game or anything like that.
- 19:18Like, think of outdoor games that you could play or that you play at
- 19:21a cottage and create a whole tournament out of it with your friends. There
- 19:25is beer pong, there's you know, capture the flag, like put your
- 19:27friends in two different teams. Like I don't know, I feel like your
- 19:32inner child comes out when you play these fun outdoor games and when you do
- 19:34it with your adult friends. It is so freaking fun. And I feel
- 19:40like there's obviously a lot of competitive people out there, so making a tournament
- 19:44out of it is so fun to see those people come out of their shell
- 19:47of you know, who's competitive, who's not. And I don't know,
- 19:49I think it's just such a fun way to connect with your friends and play
- 19:52games together, bring out your inner child and yeah, again it's that is
- 19:57just something that I always remember for myself, is just having fun moments like
- 20:00that with my friends. Another thing is booking an outdoor concert night or going
- 20:06to music festival. Outdoor concerts truly hit different. I think they're always a
- 20:11fun time. You never leave a concert unhappy, I mean, unless you're
- 20:15unhappy of how the artists performed. But I truly think that concerts are such
- 20:18a fun way to get together with your friends or your partner, or just
- 20:22going to see someone that you love. I am going to a country concert
- 20:27in July with Zach and our friends, and I'm so excited about it.
- 20:30We have a festival here called Bluesfest and it's an outdoor festival. It's one
- 20:36of the things that I truly look forward to every summer in Ottawa. And
- 20:40yeah, so I know in Toronto they have the Budweiser Stage and they have
- 20:44a bunch of outdoor concerts going on. So if you have an outdoor festival
- 20:48coming up, I highly recommend booking a night. I think that'd be so
- 20:51fun to get tickets and do. And again just I don't know, it's
- 20:55just fun. I think music festivals are something that's always memorable and fun to
- 20:59go to. No one is having a campfire night. I could have a
- 21:03campfire every single night if I could, Like I wish I lived in the
- 21:06country sometimes just because the feeling of sitting around a fire and the smell of
- 21:11a fire is so comforting and I feel so I don't even know, I
- 21:17don't know the word I'm trying to say right now, but I feel so
- 21:18good just being by or fire with friends and so calming. I think that's
- 21:22what I'm looking for. I find very peaceful, very calming, And yeah,
- 21:27I feel like I'm becoming an outdoor girly, Like I feel like I've
- 21:30been loving the outdoors more and more as I get older. I feel like
- 21:36in high school I really didn't care about that stuff, and now I don't
- 21:38know why. I think as you get older, I think you just appreciate
- 21:41how much you love being the outdoors and just being in that calm and peaceful
- 21:47space. And a campfire, to me is just very calming and very enjoying
- 21:52to do with family or friends. And it's just like a little thing that
- 21:56I feel like makes your night ten times better. And of course if everyone
- 22:02had the lecture you're doing that every night, that'd be great, But you
- 22:04know, whether it's on the weekend or just a random time throughout your summer,
- 22:07just having a campfire is so enjoyable. Another thing just to romanticize your
- 22:12nights after dinner with your partner or with your best friend is go on a
- 22:17bike ride together, go rollerblading, like includes the movement somehow after your nights,
- 22:22and again it's just a fun way to catch up with your friend or
- 22:25chat with your friend. Going outside again just getting some fresh air and biking
- 22:30is always something that I've enjoyed. And yeah, just doing it with a
- 22:33friend or the family member or anything like that is always something to remember.
- 22:38Let's talk about my readers. Who loves to read. If you're in the
- 22:44middle of reading a book, or if you read a book like a month,
- 22:47let's say, or every week, do it outside, change it up,
- 22:51change up the ambiance. I feel like people always just assume, like,
- 22:53oh, I should just read before I go to bed, and maybe
- 22:56that's the only time that you have to do to read. But maybe a
- 23:00book and bring it to the beach, or get a hammock, or go
- 23:03outside and read on a chair, or maybe go on a walk and bring
- 23:08your book and you know, sit on a bench somewhere that's close by to
- 23:11your place. Like, find different areas to read your book, and whether
- 23:15you have a kindle or not, Like bringing everywhere you go is obviously more
- 23:18convenient, But find different areas to read because that I find just makes it
- 23:25more enjoyable if you're just reading in your bedroom. I don't know about you,
- 23:27guys, but I feel I don't really like reading my books when I
- 23:30go to bed, Like I would rather read a book when I'm traveling or
- 23:34when I'm at the beach or anything like that. Like I am that kind
- 23:37of reader. That's just my opinion. I have to be in like a
- 23:40different space to do it. I think just because I don't know, I
- 23:42just feel like the vibe is better when I'm not in my home. When
- 23:48I'm reading. Maybe I can just imagine things better. I don't really know,
- 23:52to be honest, but I find reading outdoors is more fun than reading
- 23:56inside. The last thing is to romanticize you or hawk Girl summer, is
- 24:00be a tourist in your own city. Find different things to do that you
- 24:03don't typically do. This is one thing that I'm trying to work on because
- 24:07I feel like growing up, I never really liked the city that I lived
- 24:10in. I've always wished I lived in a bigger city like Toronto or Vancouver
- 24:15or Montreal. But the reality is that there is a lot of fun things
- 24:19to do in Ottawa. I just have to set my mind in time to
- 24:22actually trying different restaurants out or trying different tourists things that people typically do when
- 24:27they come here. Like the amount of people that I've met that I've met
- 24:30in Montreal. Let's say they say, oh, I love Ottawa, like
- 24:33it's always so fun there to go for a weekend. And that's how I
- 24:34feel about when I go to Montreal, right, Like, I love Montreal
- 24:37because they're fun little weekend trips. But I need to fall in love with
- 24:41my own city by trying things that I think are boring, but they might
- 24:45not actually be boring, if that makes sense. Like, I never go
- 24:48downtown, and I probably could push myself to go downtown more because there's so
- 24:53many fun new spaces, there's so many new restaurants, there's so many more
- 24:56tourists things down there. Whereas I'm obviously used to everything I have. You
- 25:03know, my usual spots that I go to, my favorite coffee shops,
- 25:06all that, and don't get me wrong, I do love going to those
- 25:08things, but you know, spice it up by changing up your areas,
- 25:12go to different parts of your city, be a tourist, try something new.
- 25:17I think something new is the key word in terms of making your summer
- 25:21more memorable, because trying things out of your comfort zone is what makes it
- 25:25memorable my opinion, Like, trying new things is fun. It is fun,
- 25:29and sometimes you know you may not like something, but at least you
- 25:32went out of your way to try it and it was something different. So
- 25:34yeah, Anyways, those are some things that I recommend for your non negotiable
- 25:40and romanticizing your Hawk Girl summer this year. I hope you guys enjoyed this
