- 0:12Here we go into the third and final hour for today of The Morning Show
- 0:16with Preston Scott Thursday, June first, It is show forty nine forty of
- 0:21the radio program. Grant Allen over there, Jared's over there and with me
- 0:28on the phone line. Is the entertainment editor with Breitbart dot Com. He
- 0:32is the author of the fifty Things books, The One the Only. Jerome
- 0:35Hudson, Hey, friend, how are you? I'm doing good, doing
- 0:39great on this fine and lovely Thursday, this cheek Thursday, because you know,
- 0:45it really would have been Wednesday if Memorial Day wasn't Monday. That's how
- 0:52it works. Dude, that's way too deep for me. My man,
- 1:00Hey, I need you to weigh in on one of the big stories in
- 1:03the press box this morning. What do you make Why did Chick fil A
- 1:11hire a d EI officer? Why promote within a guy who obviously was a
- 1:15really good employee, good at his job? Why create this office? Is
- 1:21the Is this the symptom of now being of a company being run by a
- 1:25forty three year old um? But likely likely? I mean you have to
- 1:30remember that Chick fil A a few years ago came out and announced that it
- 1:41was going to start, you know, donating to and supporting some LGBTQ pregnant
- 1:48man emoji organizations. I think. I think Chick fil A canceled Salvation Army,
- 1:55and Salvation Army also canceled Christian right, so that there are wars within
- 2:04the woke war. Um we call them alien versus predator. When one left
- 2:10wing organization or person goes to battle with another. Um, we we don't
- 2:19care who wins, and in fact, everybody could lose and America wins.
- 2:23Um. I mean Chick fil A is quite interesting in that way because if
- 2:30you, if you scour their website enough, you'll also see their purpose which
- 2:35is to do good uh in in in all things rooted in Christianity, um
- 2:42or something like that I'm paraphrasing, obviously. UM. What's happening with these
- 2:46corporations is what China did a few years ago. They actually launched a nationwide
- 2:53social credit score system, and whereby Chinese citizens are rewarded for going to certain
- 3:04restaurants, for exercising a certain amount, for pursuing certain careers and disciplines.
- 3:12They are actually rewarded as citizens. And so there are a couple different corporate
- 3:17standards that have been rolled out in this country that are doing the same,
- 3:24and one of them is this social equity standard. And you know, the
- 3:34more pride merchandise that you sell if you're Disney, for instance, regardless regardless
- 3:43of the fact that that merchandise is manufactured in a country at sanctioned slave labor
- 3:53and that punishes lesbians or bisexuals, or transigent or individuals. I know this
- 4:01because I purchased button down Pride Mickey Mouse shirt maybe about a year ago,
- 4:11just to make sure that it was manufactured in one of the provinces in China
- 4:15that routinely abuses gay people or Christians. It doesn't matter, though, because
- 4:24Disney gets the points for celebrating Pride money. And you can't just celebrate it.
- 4:31You can't just have a dude who's clearly a dude on a bud Light
- 4:38can. You have to outdo Target. So bud Light puts Dylan mulvaney on
- 4:46the can celebrating his womanhood. Target has to outdo bud Light. So what
- 4:54do they do. They put bathing suits for toddlers, suits for boys.
- 5:00But the bathing suits are special because you know, if your boy wants to
- 5:05tuck his Genitalia. He can is these bathing suits. So there, it
- 5:12literally is though awoke Olympics at this point, and the rest of US,
- 5:16I mean, the overwhelming majority of the country doesn't care who their neighbor has
- 5:24sex with, if their neighbor has sex at all. But that's the reality
- 5:30of these corporations. They're being rewarded for going woke. Hang on a second,
- 5:34I want you to hold that thought. We're gonna come right back there
- 5:38because there's a ton of stories along this front. Jerome Hudson with US entertainment
- 5:42editor with Breitbart dot Com, author and guest friend on The Morning Show with
- 5:47Preston Scott. Back with Jerome Hudson from Breitbart dot Com, entertainment editor and
- 6:00our guest here on the program. Jerome, I don't understand what's really in
- 6:03it though. For Chick fil A, all it can do is damage itself
- 6:09with its core, and its core is massively conservative, and by all accounts,
- 6:15Chick fil A has been a model employer for its duration. So this
- 6:21is nothing but pure virtue signaling. So what could possibly they win because the
- 6:28people they're signaling to are never going to be their friends. No. I
- 6:35have friends who have had to go through the diversity, equity and inclusion training.
- 6:45They don't understand it. They think it's a waste as time. They
- 6:50actually pressed and don't have good answers to my questions, like, you know,
- 6:57this financial institution as been around for a quarter of century and you guys
- 7:03just rolled out excuse me, you guys is gendered language that can't be used.
- 7:10And I say, you guys just rolled this program out three years ago.
- 7:14I was like, was it okay that the company was virulently racist and
- 7:20uninclusive for the first twenty two years? I think, Um, and they
- 7:25and they have leadership people of all colors and backgrounds. Um, I mean
- 7:33it is truly you know, it makes everyone feel good. Um, everyone
- 7:40there is very well everyone that is that that is supposed to feel good,
- 7:46okay. UM. You know when when when the standard or when the standard
- 7:54of race was included in the decision making of allowing someone on a college university
- 8:00campus as a student, or hiring them as a police or firefighter, or
- 8:05awarding a contract to them. Um, the decision to solve the problem of
- 8:11discriminating by race by using race as a decision point. You know, when
- 8:20when people decided to do that the people who came up with the idea.
- 8:24I'm pretty sure they felt pretty good. But you know what we did it
- 8:28We solved racism. No, you made it worse. Okay, and that's
- 8:35Chick fil a is. You know, we have to do it. We
- 8:37can't be the only company that doesn't have a diversity equity inclusions are and policy.
- 8:46And if we have a policy, we have to put it on our
- 8:48website. We've got we got one minute left in this segment, so let's
- 8:54let's put a bow on this topic before we move on to something else next
- 8:58segment. Let me ask you why is boycott target the number one song on
- 9:03iTunes? Well, have you heard the song? I mean, the thing
- 9:07slaps as the kids say, get in, get into the old Wait wait,
- 9:11wait wait, I don't know those terms. It what it's slap,
- 9:16it's slap. That's that's actually an old one. That one maybe ten years
- 9:22old, maybe fifteen years old. Okay, Well you're not helping me out
- 9:24then, because I gotta always want to try to be hip. Okay,
- 9:28when when you leave the office, grab grant, get in the g turn
- 9:33it on, turn the music all the way up, and h if it's
- 9:37too loud. Or too old. That is a line. I think Brendan
- 9:41Fraser said that in Airheads. But it's it's a it's a good song,
- 9:45and I think people are buying into the idea of what you said earlier.
- 9:48You know what, I don't want to support this company. You know,
- 9:52I can go buy from somewhere else my ice cream and a diapers. So
- 10:00are we now seeing with Target? And Target's been at it maybe longer than
- 10:03anybody, but with Target, yeah, Budweiser, Miller Light in particular,
- 10:09or bud Light rather in particular. Now Chick fil A, are we now
- 10:13seeing that they've just gone too far and people are done. People don't want
- 10:20to drink politics, they don't want to eat politics in between a biscuit in
- 10:26their chicken, and they certainly I've walked into the Target one hundred times.
- 10:31I've never actually thought what those people think about taxes or race or immigration,
- 10:35and most people don't. And yeah, it's turning people up. It'll be
- 10:39a slow turning of the tide. But I do believe that bud Light wrote
- 10:45the damn twenty two passed the hour of Thursday, June first, on the
- 10:48Morning Show with Preston Scott, I am Preston, that's Grant, that's Jared,
- 10:52and this is Jerome Hudson, a Breitbart dot Com the entertainment editor.
- 10:56I told you, Jerome, this is from your own pages, so I
- 11:00will not consider this a curveball under any circumstances. All Right, I just
- 11:07smiled ear to ear when I saw that Warner Brothers did not renew its agreement
- 11:11with Patrise Colors. I mean, anyway, I just I think that is
- 11:16a story that absolutely needs to be shared. You know, this is interesting
- 11:22because first, Patrise Colors remind everybody she's one of the co founders of Black
- 11:30Lives Matter, and she may not even be famous for that. It's it's
- 11:37like, yes, she's a co founder of Black Lives Matter, but she
- 11:39went on a real estate spending spree that, at least in my opinion,
- 11:46seemed to make her more more of a prominent figure, because it just it's
- 11:52so perfectly pointing out the brazen hypocrisy and the corruption and fatal flaw of that
- 12:01organization. Like people gave money to that organization believing that it would do good
- 12:07in the world, but it's based on a live roome the whole God bless
- 12:11those people. Godless. Well you know those those did say people who rooted
- 12:16for Colin Kaepernick, and his entire protest was based on on the same live
- 12:22But anyway, UM, I was thinking about this because I've been doing a
- 12:26lot of radio and I'm sorry to admit to you in front of the live
- 12:30audience, and I have been you haven't you unfaithful? But I think it
- 12:37is what happened on This is how it happened to God with one. I
- 12:41hope it was want God with one. Um. One of the questions was,
- 12:48you know, somewhere along the lines of you know, is Disney going
- 12:52to ruin everything? Because in the latest trailer for the latest Indiana Jones movie
- 12:58number five for the uninitiated, there are attacks on capitalism and it's just so
- 13:05weird because Walt Disney is one of the most lucrative corporations on the planet.
- 13:13But anyway, and I I was just thinking about this yesterday. I was
- 13:16like, um, We're going to see Hollywood do weird things like give out
- 13:24what we assume was a multimillion dollar, multi year television and film contract to
- 13:31a person like the Colors, Like she has no discernible talents that I can
- 13:37see, not the least of which involve her being rewarded something that people dedicate
- 13:43their entire lives as creatives, as writers and content creators to get the type
- 13:50of deal that one of brothers gave her. All she did was trademark and
- 13:54patent a slogan that has that has done a lot to defy this country on
- 14:01the lines of race. But that that is Hollywood in a nutshell. Warner
- 14:05Brothers looked at the Trees callers and said, you know what, we want
- 14:09to strike a deal that allows you to create content for us that we can
- 14:13share to our audience. And and the punchline is that after signing that deal,
- 14:18what happened. Ah, yes, this is this is what gave us
- 14:22all the giggles and feel goods in the Bright Part newsroom. This woman created
- 14:26absolutely absolutely no content for Warner Brothers. Zero. Um, nothing mean.
- 14:31I think I think she did the equivalent of taping a pilot episode of a
- 14:39commercial. It's quite seinfeld funny in that way. Um. But you know,
- 14:46it's the most amazing thing I will say about that story is while I
- 14:54was looking for the photo that I event truly chose for that story, I
- 15:01ran across a bunch of Getty images of Patrise callers performing. And I have
- 15:05to tell you, Preston, I have to figure out a way that doesn't
- 15:09break the copyright agreement. This woman has a different side of her life than
- 15:15only a few people get to enjoy. And I have to say I would
- 15:18probably pay money to see one of her shows. I mean, she's holding
- 15:22a tricycle, a golden tricycle in front of her face, imposing other people
- 15:26are like moving in weird ways in a lowly lit room. I mean,
- 15:33it's some wild stuff. And so because the deal expired, we are we
- 15:39are spared that indignity of having to even run across it. I don't know.
- 15:43I mean, maybe we would have been blessed with content from the co
- 15:48founder of Black Lives Matter. We'll never know. We can't. Yeah,
- 15:54that's that's going to be one of my great regrets when I pass on.
- 15:58All Right, all right, my friend, thanks for the time. We'll
- 16:03talk again next month. I love you very much. My dear friend,
- 16:07Grant take care of this man. I always try
