nearly 200 school districts that at least one
• 2:54
student was impacted by an AI grading glitch,
• 2:57
which resulted in hundreds of essays being scored
• 3:00
incorrectly on the MCAS exams. The NBC 10 investigators
• 3:05
obtained the list of 192 school districts through
• 3:09
a public records request. As previously reported,
• 3:14
the technology misgraded about 1 ,400 essays,

which were later re -scored after the error was

detected. Shaleen Title, an adjunct professor
• 3:24
and parent from Malden, expressed her concerns
• 3:27
to the school committee, stating she was unaware
• 3:29
that AI was used for essay grading. She worries
• 3:34
that AI might show bias against students with
• 3:36
disabilities or those learning English as a second
• 3:39
language. Now on to sports. The National Football

top news, nearly half of seniors are affected
• 5:58
by a massive recall of a popular prescription
• 6:01
medication. The latest recall involves generic
• 6:04
versions of atorvastatin calcium used by around
• 6:08
47 million Americans to lower bad cholesterol.
• 6:13
The United States Food and Drug Administration
• 6:16
updated a Class II recall notice due to quality
• 6:19
failures. This means the pills may not dissolve
• 6:23
properly and could undermine treatment effectiveness.
• 6:27
Patients should check their prescription bottles
• 6:29
against the FDA notice. If affected, do not stop
• 6:34
taking the medication abruptly and contact your
• 6:37
health care provider for guidance. In business
• 6:41
news, Coca -Cola has officially begun rolling
• 6:45
out soda made with cane sugar across the United
• 6:48
States, following President Donald Trump's urging
• 6:51
to bring back the ingredient to its American
• 6:54
products. A new 12 -ounce, single -serve glass
• 6:58
bottle of Coca -Cola's signature soda made with
• 7:01
United States cane sugar is launching in select
• 7:04
markets nationwide this fall, according to a
• 7:07
spokesperson for the company. The spokesperson
• 7:10
stated that this move offers consumers a classic
• 7:13
and timeless way to enjoy their Coca -Cola original
• 7:16
taste made with United States cane sugar. Coca
• 7:21
-Cola's Chief Financial Officer John Murphy noted
• 7:24
that the launch will be gradual due to limited
• 7:26
availability of cane sugar in the United States.
• 7:31
In crypto movement, Bitcoin is unchanged at about
• 7:35
  $109 ,000. Ethereum is down 1 % to about $3 ,800.
• 7:43
And XRP is down 2 % to $2 .39. Moving on to a
• 7:50
more local vibe. In our community spotlight on
• 7:54
health and wellness, we are working with a national

so listen up. Check out Club Pilates with several

• 8:35
back to the show. Let's talk science. In a freak
• 8:39
accident, scientists may have unlocked faster
• 8:42
internet for everyone. This discovery could also
• 8:45
  enhance artificial intelligence data center's
• 8:48
ability to transfer vast amounts of information
• 8:51
more effectively. Researchers have created a
• 8:54
chip -sized frequency comm, which splits laser
• 8:57
light into multiple colors, each representing
• 9:00
its own optical channel. This new technology
• 9:04
replaces costly and powerful lasers, allowing
• 9:07
for compact, energy -efficient systems. As artificial
• 9:12
intelligence data centers struggle to transmit
• 9:15
data swiftly, this innovation could revolutionize
• 9:18
  their operations. Columbia University's Michael
• 9:22
Lipson emphasizes that this progress is vital
• 9:25
for efficient data center infrastructure. And
• 9:31
in entertainment news, Vin Diesel has provided
• 9:34
a hopeful update on Fast and Furious 11 after
• 9:38
rumors of its cancellation surfaced. It has been
• 9:42
nearly two and a half years since Fast Five concluded
• 9:45
on a cliffhanger, leaving fans anxious for the
• 9:48
sequel. Although initially expected to release
• 9:51
in 2026, the film remains without a date, and
• 9:55
concerns about its budget have arisen. In a recent
• 9:59
Instagram post, Diesel shared a video with Michael
• 10:02
Moses, the chief marketing officer at Universal
• 10:05
  Pictures, suggesting positive developments. Moses
• 10:10
stated, Out drifting with Dom Toretto planning
• 10:13
everything, we got it solved. As fans await more
• 10:17
news, here's hoping the project is back on track.
• 10:22
Well, all righty, folks. It's time for the quote
• 10:24
of the day. And today, our quote comes from the
• 10:29
American diplomat and Nobel Peace Prize laureate
• 10:32
Ralph Bunch. And he said, Peace, to have meaning
• 10:37
for many who have known only suffering in both
• 10:40
peace and war, must be translated into bread
• 10:43
or rice, shelter, health, and education, as well
• 10:47
as freedom and human dignity. And that's a wrap
• 10:52
for this morning. You can check out our Instagram,
• 10:55
YouTube, and TikTok for some captivating aerial
• 10:59
videos with local news and the weather reports.
• 11:05
