- 6:12Speaker 3: oddly satisfying social media videos. You might be surprised how
- 6:18Speaker 3: much time we spend every day watching them and what
- 6:20Speaker 3: the number one satisfying video.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Is Stay there, Toby and Chilly in the Morning. It's

- 6:49Speaker 3: watching them. That's up to three hours a week. So
- 6:52Speaker 3: what kind of oddly satisfying content. Are people watching the
- 6:55Speaker 3: most those pimple popping Videos's pimple yeah?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Oh mg?
- 7:00Speaker 3: That's followed by watching somebody do pressure or powerwashing. That
- 7:04Speaker 3: is satisfying to see the before and afters and then
- 7:07Speaker 3: objects that are getting crushed. Now, my twelve year old
- 7:10Speaker 3: is a big fan of those videos.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Well, crushing stuff is always fun, that's just boy stuff.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I love watching people get adjusted at the chiropractor. There's
- 7:20Speaker 3: a couple of chiropractors that I follow in. I'm just
- 7:22Speaker 3: like the crack, the crack that they're getting. I somehow

- 7:30Speaker 5: You know, there's just something about it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Really.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah, is there an oddly satisfying type of video that

- 7:40Speaker 2: who I really am just taken by because of the
- 7:42Speaker 2: way she loves her animals and she loves the pets
- 7:45Speaker 2: she's taken care of. And have you heard of Nicole Fine? No, Yes,
- 7:50Speaker 2: she's at doctor dot Nicole Fine on Instagram. Yes, she loves, loves,
- 7:56Speaker 2: loves these animals and the videos she makes. I just

- 8:02Speaker 2: They're like trying to tell her you shouldn't be babying
- 8:04Speaker 2: pets like that, don't let them kiss and lick your lips.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I find it to be compelling, and a lot of
- 8:09Speaker 2: other people do too, because she gets millions of views
- 8:13Speaker 2: and follows and all of these things. I miss her.
- 8:16Speaker 2: If I don't see her at least once a day,
- 8:18Speaker 2: that oddly satisfying enough.
- 8:20Speaker 5: I guess it is for you.

- 11:25Speaker 3: highs around eighty six right now sixty eight in Chevy Chase.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That's the news, Toby and Tilly in the morning. You
- 11:32Speaker 2: get you top stories at the top of the hour,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and in just minutes we're going to talk about dumpster diving.
- 11:37Speaker 2: There's a dude in Manhattan that Winton picked up a
- 11:40Speaker 2: bunch of trash around Madison Square Garden. You know, Taylor Swift,
- 11:45Speaker 2: Travis Kelce. They had a little shin dig over there,
- 11:48Speaker 2: and well he went and picked up stuff and started
- 11:51Speaker 2: selling it. Dumpster diving paid off side hustle is reel.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So what's the biggest thing the treasure that you found
- 11:58Speaker 2: while dumpster diving? Do you do it? If so, we've
- 12:02Speaker 2: got to hear from you. Eight six six ninety seven
- 12:04Speaker 2: forty three sixty one, hang out well, listen to your stories.
- 12:09Speaker 2: In minutes Telly a tune in the morning. It's ninety
- 12:12Speaker 2: seven point one wash FM. I don't know if you
- 12:14Speaker 2: saw this go viral last week or not, but there
- 12:17Speaker 2: was a guy who went and picked up a bunch
- 12:20Speaker 2: of trash around Madison Square Garden when Taylor Swift and
- 12:24Speaker 2: Travis Kelsey had their little hitching party. Yeah, this dude
- 12:27Speaker 2: turned it into the ultimate side hustle. One person's trash
- 12:30Speaker 2: became this guy's sort of treasure.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Well, he couldn't promise that any of those things were
- 12:35Speaker 3: actually part of the wedding, but he said it was
- 12:37Speaker 3: during the wedding that he went dumpster diving, so it
- 12:41Speaker 3: could have been amongst the celebrities. But I think the
- 12:44Speaker 3: crazier story out of that whole dumpster diving thing is
- 12:47Speaker 3: somebody on eBay was offering to sell a bag of
- 12:51Speaker 3: air that was allegedly collected right outside MSG.
- 12:54Speaker 2: People are just crazy.
- 12:56Speaker 3: You live in a condo complex that has a lot
- 12:58Speaker 3: of great dumpsters. I am mad that you see some
- 13:01Speaker 3: treasures day to day that you either do pick up
- 13:04Speaker 3: or look at and go gosh, I really should.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Take that sometime. On instant stories, I post different pictures
- 13:09Speaker 2: of things I see, like television's computer here. I don't
- 13:13Speaker 2: go diving in my own dumpsters where I live, but
- 13:16Speaker 2: there are people who come by religiously with trucks on
- 13:19Speaker 2: Saturday morning and they take everything they can. Have You
- 13:23Speaker 2: ever dumpster dived and found anything there chilling.
- 13:26Speaker 5: No not I I'm not lucky enough to find any.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I didn't dumpster dive. But when I was working in Lancaster, Pennsylvania,
- 13:32Speaker 2: I moved into an apartment that was my first complete
- 13:35Speaker 2: move on my own, and I needed a bet. And
- 13:38Speaker 2: when I moved in, I guess the previous tenant had
- 13:40Speaker 2: left a queen size mattress. I appropriated it and it
- 13:43Speaker 2: served me well for about a year. Please don't ask
- 13:46Speaker 2: me if I checked it for bud bugs, because I didn't.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's sort of like dumpster diving, right eight six, six
- 13:51Speaker 2: ninety two, seven forty three sixty one, Janet and Silver Spring.
- 13:54Speaker 2: You know anybody who's done some dumpster diving.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I do. One of my friends I grew up with.
- 13:58Speaker 4: She does it on a regular BASEI at our college
- 14:01Speaker 4: in our hometown when they let out at the end
- 14:04Speaker 4: of the year, all the college kids throw away a
- 14:06Speaker 4: bunch of stuff, and she goes and gets it.
- 14:08Speaker 5: What are some things she's dug out of there?
- 14:10Speaker 4: She got a laptop, bring new towels, naft howels like
- 14:13Speaker 4: a whole set of them. She's found quite a few
- 14:15Speaker 4: different things in there.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I've seen college kids throw away refrigerators, TVs, computer monitors.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I need to drive down to George Mason University every
- 14:25Speaker 3: summer then to do some diving.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Eight sixty six nine two seven three sixty one dumpster diving.
- 14:31Speaker 2: You know, anybody who does it, tell us about the treasures.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Maybe that's you that does the dumpster diving. Can't wait
- 14:37Speaker 2: for you to add your layer to this story. Welcome
- 14:40Speaker 2: back to Toby and Chilly in the morning. Here on
- 14:42Speaker 2: ninety seven point one was Chef m just to recap
- 14:45Speaker 2: on this Monday morning.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Oh, there was a guy who was selling things out
- 14:49Speaker 3: of the dumpster located outside of Madison Square Garden because
- 14:53Speaker 3: he was saying that could have been discarded from the
- 14:55Speaker 3: tailor and Travis wedding a couple of weeks ago. But
- 14:58Speaker 3: there are people who do find and amazing treasures when
- 15:02Speaker 3: they go dumpster diving.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Eight six six nine two seven forty three sixty one
- 15:06Speaker 2: is the number. Here comes Laura from Bethesda. I understand
- 15:09Speaker 2: you have a declaration.
- 15:10Speaker 7: I am a dumpster diver and I love it.
- 15:13Speaker 5: Why you love it so much? What have you found?
- 15:15Speaker 7: I found TV PlayStations, a beautiful dish sect.
- 15:19Speaker 6: I mean you name it that people left behind yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 5: What about some of your favorite fines.
- 15:24Speaker 4: One of the sweetest things that I found was I
- 15:26Speaker 4: could keep fake back and I had.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Pictures as an older couple, and they had their.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Love letters, so it was probably something that they passed
- 15:34Speaker 1: away or something.
- 15:34Speaker 7: But I thought that was really neat that I go.
- 15:36Speaker 9: Through their stuffs.
- 15:37Speaker 7: I mean, tell kit of weird and read the love
- 15:39Speaker 7: letters that he used to write his life and stuff.
- 15:41Speaker 2: No offense, Lauren, but I think it is a little
- 15:44Speaker 2: bit weird that you're reading this man's correspondence to his wife.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Well, if the family wanted to keep it private, maybe
- 15:50Speaker 3: they should have shredded it.
- 15:51Speaker 2: True, true, wouldn't have ended up in the bussora for
- 15:54Speaker 2: you to go dive in and find. Lauren, Thank you
- 15:57Speaker 2: this morning. Now let's head out the Purse of a
- 15:59Speaker 2: Wild wonderful but not quite was Virginia John, Good morning.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So who's this dumpster diver you want to tell us about?
- 16:06Speaker 3: He's my roommate and what has he discovered the last
- 16:09Speaker 3: five years?
- 16:10Speaker 10: He's been bringing all home, all kinds of food and fruits, vegetables, hams, turkeys,
- 16:15Speaker 10: you name it, all packaged and percle edible. It's either
- 16:18Speaker 10: outdated or damaged chili.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I don't know if I like where this is headed.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Yeah, outdated sounds a little dangerous for food, But what
- 16:24Speaker 3: does he do with all of it?
- 16:25Speaker 10: So he's really giving he takes it to get us.
- 16:27Speaker 10: Other people need foods, you know.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I know that if I was receiving maybe outdated food,
- 16:33Speaker 3: I'd like a heads up, please, But that's generous.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I suppose I got no time for samonilla. I know no,
- 16:40Speaker 2: and you've putting some people at risk. You need to
- 16:42Speaker 2: have a conversation with your roommate.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Produce is one thing, but please don't give me meat
- 16:47Speaker 3: that you've dug out of the trash.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's a hard pass. Anybody you know, do
- 16:53Speaker 2: some dumpster diving. Anybody find anything remarkable? Tell us your story.
- 16:57Speaker 2: You can use talk back. Just tap that red button
- 16:59Speaker 2: and tell it. And thank you by the way for

- 26:37Speaker 2: ninety seven point one was Chef m at eight sixty six,
- 26:39Speaker 2: nine two, seven forty three sixty one. Hey, can you
- 26:42Speaker 2: give us a call because wondering what you do? What
- 26:45Speaker 2: would you do or what have you done? When you've
- 26:49Speaker 2: watched somebody flirt with your partner, just openly flirt with
- 26:52Speaker 2: your partner in front of you. I mean, it's kind
- 26:55Speaker 2: of awkward and weird and it must make you feel
- 26:57Speaker 2: some sort of way, right, So let's talk it out.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Toby and Chilly in the Morning on ninety seven point
- 27:04Speaker 2: one wash FM. It's one of those social situations there's
- 27:07Speaker 2: really no instruction manual for how to handle it when
- 27:10Speaker 2: it happens. Somebody starts hitting on your husband, your wife, boyfriend, girlfriend,
- 27:15Speaker 2: and it's happening right in front of you. What do
- 27:18Speaker 2: you do? Tap that talk back microphone right now if
- 27:21Speaker 2: you're listening to us and you're signed into your iHeart app.
- 27:24Speaker 3: We came across an article that talked about some of
- 27:26Speaker 3: the most common things people do. There's a territorial arm
- 27:29Speaker 3: where you quietly wrap an arm around your partner so
- 27:32Speaker 3: that person knows they're taken, or you sit back and
- 27:35Speaker 3: you let your partner handle it, hoping that they shut
- 27:38Speaker 3: it down. And here's another one. You formally introduce yourself.
- 27:40Speaker 5: You walk over. Oh hi, by the way, I'm Chili,
- 27:43Speaker 5: Nice to meet you. I'm Don's wife.
- 27:45Speaker 3: M guess what have you in the past or would
- 27:49Speaker 3: you do now when that happens?
- 27:51Speaker 5: If somebody's flirting with your girlfriend in front of you.
- 27:53Speaker 2: In the past, there were times when I would see
- 27:56Speaker 2: that flirting go on, and that's when I would make
- 27:58Speaker 2: them move in, grab a hand, or just put my
- 28:01Speaker 2: arm around a little bit.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Or so that kind of comes along with the territorial
- 28:05Speaker 3: arm version. It's a more subtle version.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Right, yeah, what would you do?
- 28:09Speaker 3: I'm more the person that would engage in a conversation
- 28:12Speaker 3: like interject myself, be like oh yeah, and kind of
- 28:14Speaker 3: that way. The person's looking go who she oh, oh
- 28:17Speaker 3: she must be his?
- 28:18Speaker 5: Okay.
- 28:19Speaker 2: From talk Back, Anika from Langley left us this.
- 28:23Speaker 8: It doesn't bother me. Have a compliment to me that
- 28:26Speaker 8: I have someone I don't know. That's desirable. It's nice
- 28:30Speaker 8: little so there are my.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Cats kind of cool.
- 28:32Speaker 8: It's like, yeah, that's right, I'm with someone pretty awesome.
- 28:35Speaker 8: Everyone notices that's a very healthy and secure way to be.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Annica, thank you so much for leaving us a
- 28:42Speaker 2: talkback message this morning talkback blowing up Chilly on this
- 28:45Speaker 2: Monday morning, uh Ricky in Darnstown left us this message.
- 28:50Speaker 2: He's got a plan.
- 28:52Speaker 9: If someone comes up and starts flirting with my girlfriend,
- 28:54Speaker 9: I'll just flirt with them. I know it might sound weird,
- 28:57Speaker 9: but like holding up a mirror to whoever's come up
- 28:59Speaker 9: to bother someone is like the easiest way to make
- 29:02Speaker 9: them go away.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I like how Ricky has a strategy. You're flirting back
- 29:06Speaker 3: with the flirter as the partner. You're like, oh, how
- 29:09Speaker 3: does that feel?
- 29:10Speaker 2: That word? Oh, that's the ultimate chaos move, you know
- 29:14Speaker 2: what I mean? Because then the flirner who's flirting with
- 29:17Speaker 2: your significant other is going to have no idea what
- 29:20Speaker 2: the heck is happening. Could be very interesting depending on
- 29:24Speaker 2: who's doing the flirting.
- 29:25Speaker 5: You know what line I would use and a head
- 29:27Speaker 5: for business and so.
