The Epstein Death Question Revisited With Dr. Michael Freeman’s New Findings (10/8/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. A few days ago we were talking about Dr.
• 0:07
Speaker 1: Michael Freeman and his new report talking about Jeffrey Epstein's death.
• 0:12
Speaker 1: And according to Mr. Freeman, there were several things that
• 0:16
Speaker 1: he found problematic with them calling it a suicide. So
• 0:20
Speaker 1: in this episode, we're going to dive into an article
• 0:23
Speaker 1: from the Metro giving us a bit more context on
• 0:26
Speaker 1: what Mr. Freeman is alleging. Headline, Jeffrey Epstein's death was
• 0:32
Speaker 1: more likely a struggle, not suicide. This is the evidence.
• 0:37
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Luke Alsford. Jeffrey Epstein's autopsy
• 0:42
Speaker 1: file shows his death was more consistent with a struggle
• 0:45
Speaker 1: and not suicide, a respected forensic pathologist told Metro after
• 0:50
Speaker 1: reviewing the evidence. Dr. Michael Freeman, fellow of the Royal
• 0:54
Speaker 1: College of Pathologists in London, will publish an independent report
• 0:58
Speaker 1: about the late financier's death after he was given the
• 1:01
Speaker 1: complete medical examiner's file by Epstein's brother, Mark. And look,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: I know that a lot of us aren't the biggest
• 1:08
Speaker 1: fans of Mark Epstein. But if it was your brother,
• 1:12
Speaker 1: you'd want to know the truth too, right? I know
• 1:15
Speaker 1: I'd want to know if he was killed or if
• 1:16
Speaker 1: he hung himself or what happened. And I think that
• 1:20
Speaker 1: if you're trying to get to the bottom of what happened,
• 1:22
Speaker 1: having people like Dr. Bodden and Dr. Freeman involved is
• 1:26
Speaker 1: a good-ass idea. Ahead of the bombshell talk revealing his
• 1:30
Speaker 1: findings next month, Freeman told Metro the suicide determination was problematic.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: He pointed to evidence such as fingernail marks, which allegedly
• 1:38
Speaker 1: showed Epstein tried to get the ligature off in a
• 1:41
Speaker 1: potential struggle or assault. And look, I don't know why
• 1:46
Speaker 1: anybody would be surprised by this. We don't even know
• 1:50
Speaker 1: what that blur was, that orange blur in the video,
• 1:54
Speaker 1: next to Jeffrey Epstein's jail cell. Tova Noel said it
• 1:57
Speaker 1: wasn't her. If it wasn't her, who was it? Nobody
• 2:00
Speaker 1: else was there. So was it a ghost? Or was
• 2:03
Speaker 1: it another inmate that was lurking and waiting for Epstein?
• 2:06
Speaker 1: I think that scenario is very, very possible. And I
• 2:09
Speaker 1: think that Jeffrey Epstein had way too much to live
• 2:13
Speaker 1: for still. And I've said this from the beginning. When
• 2:16
Speaker 1: you have the kind of money Epstein has, and you've
• 2:18
Speaker 1: already beat these kinds of charges one time before, you're
• 2:21
Speaker 1: going to feel pretty confident. And I have just a
• 2:24
Speaker 1: hard time believing that Jeffrey Epstein is going to kill
• 2:27
Speaker 1: himself over a few days in lockup. That just doesn't
• 2:31
Speaker 1: seem to be the kind of person that Epstein was.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: From everything that we know, from everybody we've heard from,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: that doesn't seem like the logical conclusion. Now, I'm not
• 2:41
Speaker 1: saying it can't be possible. I'm not saying for sure
• 2:44
Speaker 1: that he didn't kill himself. What I'm saying is, I
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: don't believe the narrative, and I don't think they've provided
• 2:51
Speaker 1: enough evidence to make me believe it. And that's where
• 2:55
Speaker 1: I'm at. It's either show me evidence or shut all
• 2:58
Speaker 1: the way up. And it looks like Mr. Freeman is
• 3:02
Speaker 1: going to do exactly that. Show us some evidence. Dr. Freeman,
• 3:06
Speaker 1: who previously served as chair of forensic and legal medicine
• 3:09
Speaker 1: with the Royal College of Physicians, told Metro, There are
• 3:13
Speaker 1: lots of things that are not explained by a suicidal hanging,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: but are consistent with potentially a struggle. And I remember
• 3:20
Speaker 1: at the time, we heard from multiple people that had
• 3:23
Speaker 1: forensic experience say the same thing. And I think that
• 3:25
Speaker 1: one of the biggest problems for the official narrative is
• 3:28
Speaker 1: the hyoid bone being broken. That's not something that happens
• 3:33
Speaker 1: when you, you know, hang yourself from the kind of
• 3:36
Speaker 1: place where Epstein allegedly hung himself. When that hyoid bone breaks,
• 3:41
Speaker 1: usually it's due to manual strangulation, right? Somebody doing that
• 3:45
Speaker 1: shit to you. And according to Dr. Freeman and Dr. Bodden,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: that's what they believe. he had injuries that could not
• 3:53
Speaker 1: possibly have been caused by a ligature. The pathologist will
• 3:56
Speaker 1: be releasing the complete medical file, including portions not public,
• 4:01
Speaker 1: after his talk at a university college London law faculty
• 4:04
Speaker 1: event next month. Man, I wish I can go to that.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: That would be awesome. Because I would love to hear
• 4:10
Speaker 1: what he has to say. And you know what I'm
• 4:12
Speaker 1: going to do? I'm going to reach out to Dr.
• 4:14
Speaker 1: Freeman and see if he wants to have a chat.
• 4:16
Speaker 1: Because I'd love to get it from the horse's mouth.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: I think that's the best way to go, right? Go
• 4:22
Speaker 1: to the actual source and see what they have to say.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: So I'm going to reach out to Dr. Freeman and
• 4:28
Speaker 1: see if he wants to come on the podcast or
• 4:30
Speaker 1: talk to me for a little while and tell us
• 4:33
Speaker 1: what he found and what led him to believe that
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was in fact murdered and didn't kill himself.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: A guard said that they discovered him hanging with an
• 4:42
Speaker 1: orange colored strip of material around his neck in a
• 4:45
Speaker 1: near seated position. The New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office
• 4:49
Speaker 1: ruled his death a suicide, which was later backed up
• 4:51
Speaker 1: by a review from the Department of Justice in 2023
• 4:55
Speaker 1: and FBI findings. Yeah, you mean the Trump Department of Justice?
• 5:00
Speaker 1: Which we now know is less than reliable when it
• 5:03
Speaker 1: comes to Jeffrey Epstein and what Epstein was up to.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: And certainly not reliable when it comes to giving us
• 5:09
Speaker 1: the truth. And when you look back with hindsight as
• 5:11
Speaker 1: your guide, it becomes pretty damning, right? Considering what they're
• 5:15
Speaker 1: willing to do now to try and cover it up,
• 5:18
Speaker 1: does it really shock anybody that there might have been
• 5:21
Speaker 1: some kind of plan or plot to take Epstein out?
• 5:25
Speaker 1: Doesn't shock me, and I certainly wouldn't be surprised if
• 5:27
Speaker 1: somewhere down the road, we find that out. Dr. Freeman
• 5:33
Speaker 1: says he's the first person trained in forensic pathology who
• 5:36
Speaker 1: has reviewed all the evidence, including the entire autopsy file,
• 5:40
Speaker 1: since the suicide determination. The top pathologist told Metro that
• 5:45
Speaker 1: Epstein's death was completely unique in the annals of suicidal
• 5:49
Speaker 1: hanging descriptions. Yo, that's crazy. And that's not me saying it,
• 5:54
Speaker 1: or somebody, you know, that doesn't have experience as a
• 5:57
Speaker 1: forensic pathologist. Somebody that actually knows what's what. And according
• 6:02
Speaker 1: to him, this is completely unique. Not something that happens maybe,
• 6:07
Speaker 1: but completely unique. And I'm going to take him at
• 6:10
Speaker 1: face value when he says that. He claimed that we
• 6:12
Speaker 1: had no picture of him suspended, there was no picture
• 6:15
Speaker 1: of him after he was taken down from the suspension,
• 6:18
Speaker 1: and that all had to do with Thomas and Tovanoel.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: None of the policies were followed, nothing was done in
• 6:25
Speaker 1: the aftermath that should have been done, they didn't treat
• 6:28
Speaker 1: it like a crime scene, nothing. Dr. Freeman believes the
• 6:32
Speaker 1: guard's description of the position where he found Epstein was credible,
• 6:35
Speaker 1: so he said his focus was, could all of Epstein's
• 6:38
Speaker 1: injuries have been caused by the hanging scenario, in which
• 6:41
Speaker 1: he was found. He has concluded there are some very
• 6:44
Speaker 1: notable inconsistencies and areas where there is not adequate explanation
• 6:49
Speaker 1: of what the medical examiner found. The expert said Epstein
• 6:53
Speaker 1: had a number of injuries, aside from the ligature marks,
• 6:56
Speaker 1: including on his left shoulder and behind his neck. Yeah,
• 6:59
Speaker 1: because he was struggling, that's why. Trying to get that
• 7:04
Speaker 1: thing off of him. I know we've all seen that
• 7:06
Speaker 1: shit in the movies, right? Somebody gets a bag put
• 7:08
Speaker 1: over their head, starts getting choked with a garrot or something,
• 7:11
Speaker 1: And the freak out begins. Nobody's just going to sit
• 7:14
Speaker 1: there and let it happen. They fight back. He added
• 7:19
Speaker 1: he had injuries that could not possibly have been caused
• 7:22
Speaker 1: by a ligature. And he had facial injuries that were
• 7:24
Speaker 1: clearly not caused by resuscitation efforts. He had been dead
• 7:29
Speaker 1: for hours by the time they tried to resuscitate him.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: That's true too. My guess is it happened early in
• 7:34
Speaker 1: the night. You know, when Tova and Mr. Thomas decided
• 7:37
Speaker 1: they'd have a little nap. Dr. Freeman, who worked with
• 7:41
Speaker 1: a team of researchers, said that there was evidence that
• 7:44
Speaker 1: aligned potentially with a struggle and assault. He claimed that
• 7:47
Speaker 1: one of the things that I'll point out during my
• 7:50
Speaker 1: lecture will be the presence of what appears to be
• 7:52
Speaker 1: fingernail marks above the ligature mark. That would be consistent
• 7:56
Speaker 1: with his own fingernail marks trying to get the ligature off. Yes,
• 8:01
Speaker 1: that's what happens. Someone starts choking you. Your instinct is
• 8:05
Speaker 1: going to be to try and get that thing off
• 8:07
Speaker 1: of you. And to do that, obviously, you got to
• 8:10
Speaker 1: grab it, right? Dig into it. And if there's fingernail
• 8:13
Speaker 1: marks there, that's a big deal. Dr. Freeman said this
• 8:19
Speaker 1: information was not even the good stuff, which will come
• 8:22
Speaker 1: out during the talk next month. And he's doing this
• 8:25
Speaker 1: in front of other professionals, right? People in the field.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: He's not just, you know, shooting from the hip, starting
• 8:31
Speaker 1: a podcast or going on Reddit. This is a guy that,
• 8:34
Speaker 1: you know, does this for a living and somebody that
• 8:37
Speaker 1: is well-respected and in his industry. So, when he has
• 8:41
Speaker 1: a report coming out, my advice is, we all pay attention. Now,
• 8:45
Speaker 1: does that mean we should just blindly believe whatever he says? No.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: But I think that it's something that's going to be
• 8:51
Speaker 1: important to help put the pieces together. The pathologist acknowledged
• 8:55
Speaker 1: that there'll be people who are going to disagree with him,
• 8:58
Speaker 1: but he was releasing the autopsy files publicly to let
• 9:01
Speaker 1: the world judge for themselves. He explained that medical examiners
• 9:05
Speaker 1: don't want to have their work looked at again. Meanwhile,
• 9:08
Speaker 1: that leaves everybody without recourse to go back and say,
• 9:11
Speaker 1: can we have a second look at this? And nobody
• 9:13
Speaker 1: wants to have their work checked, right? Especially if you're
• 9:16
Speaker 1: somebody like a medical examiner. You rule that somebody has
• 9:19
Speaker 1: been killed via suicide. You don't want somebody going back
• 9:23
Speaker 1: and changing that ruling. Science is what you can prove.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: What is replicable? What's reproducible? That's what I'm focused on.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: So the fact is Jeffrey Epstein is actually more of
• 9:35
Speaker 1: a nuisance factor than because there's so much interest in it. Dr.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: Freeman said he has no opinions about the debate and
• 9:42
Speaker 1: conspiracies surrounding Epstein's death. The New York medical examiner told
• 9:46
Speaker 1: Metro their office stands by the determination of suicide after
• 9:50
Speaker 1: they were asked about Dr. Freeman's criticisms. Epstein's brother, Mark Epstein,
• 9:55
Speaker 1: previously told Metro the report will be game-changing. He said
• 9:59
Speaker 1: the independent group has been properly studying the autopsy results
• 10:03
Speaker 1: for months, comparing evidence against autopsies of suicides and murders.
• 10:09
Speaker 1: The younger brother, who gave the panel Jeffrey Epstein's autopsy report, added,
• 10:13
Speaker 1: they are not doing this on my behalf. I'm not
• 10:15
Speaker 1: paying for this. So that also gives it some credit, right?
• 10:19
Speaker 1: He's not paying for it. There's no motivation, financially speaking,
• 10:23
Speaker 1: to come to this determination. So I'm very interested to
• 10:27
Speaker 1: see what Dr. Freeman came up with. And obviously, once
• 10:30
Speaker 1: we have that report, I'll get it added to the
• 10:32
Speaker 1: catalog and share it with all of you. But until then,
• 10:36
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All the
• 10:38
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: the description box.
