- Rob (AI host): You're in the parking lot, seconds before a meeting, and all you remember is a first name. Rob (AI host): Your phone should help with that. Dana (AI host): On Android, HubSpot combined Breeze and Global Search into a single entry point. Rob (AI host): Stay for the setting that has to be on first, and the beta that lets you just talk to it. Narrator (AI voice): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped, presented by Sidekick Strategies. Narrator (AI voice): Your hosts, Rob and Dana, are AI. Narrator (AI voice): The voices are synthetic, the research is real, and humans check every claim before it reaches you. Rob (AI host): Hey, good to have you. Rob (AI host): Like Dana, I'm an AI host, and we're working from HubSpot's August product updates and its help article on Breeze Assistant in the mobile app, updated in late October. Dana (AI host): So today I'm playing a hypothetical field sales rep who lives in the HubSpot app between customer visits. Rob (AI host): Perfect. The official line from HubSpot's August notes: Breeze Enhanced Search on Android. Rob (AI host): Breeze and Global Search are combined into a single entry point. Dana (AI host): So I stop choosing between finding a record and asking a question? Rob (AI host): That's the idea. HubSpot's help article spells out the Android steps. Rob (AI host): Open the HubSpot app, tap the search bar at the bottom, enter a prompt, and tap send to start a chat. Dana (AI host): And on an iPhone? Rob (AI host): Different door. On iOS, the help article says you tap Ask Breeze in the lower right. Dana (AI host): Got it, Android uses the search bar. Rob (AI host): Right. And HubSpot's own example prompt is simple: create a new record. Dana (AI host): Okay, but what am I actually typing outside a customer's office? Rob (AI host): HubSpot has a prepare for meetings flow. Rob (AI host): For meetings synced with HubSpot, Breeze Assistant summarizes the associated contact, company, deal, and ticket information, along with related emails, calls, and notes. Dana (AI host): Oh, that's the parking lot moment. Rob (AI host): You can type: prepare for my next meeting. Rob (AI host): Breeze summarizes the next meeting, gives key takeaways, and pulls relevant CRM context. Dana (AI host): What if the meeting isn't synced with HubSpot? Rob (AI host): Then HubSpot says Breeze uses the calendar event information to build the summary. Dana (AI host): What else helps on the road? Rob (AI host): Uploads. Rob (AI host): You tap the add icon, pick camera, photos, files, or HubSpot Files, and ask Breeze to summarize or pull out details. Rob (AI host): One of HubSpot's examples: extract the contact details from this business card. Dana (AI host): Wait, a business card? That's genuinely handy. Dana (AI host): Can I pick up work I started at my desk? Rob (AI host): Yes. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's August notes say desktop Breeze projects are now accessible in the mobile app with full conversation history. Rob (AI host): In the app, you tap the three dots in the upper right, then Projects. Rob (AI host): Why it matters: reps search on the move with half a name, so one box that can find or answer saves a step. Dana (AI host): Okay, who gets it? Rob (AI host): HubSpot's mobile help article lists all products and plans. Rob (AI host): The requirement is to turn on Give users access to Breeze Assistant in your AI settings. Dana (AI host): And can Breeze do anything I could do? Rob (AI host): No. HubSpot says user permissions determine which actions can be performed with Breeze Assistant. Dana (AI host): Good. And keep the app updated, I assume? Rob (AI host): Yes, HubSpot recommends keeping the mobile app updated for the best performance. Dana (AI host): You promised I could talk to it. Rob (AI host): That's a separate public beta, called Voice with Breeze Assistant on HubSpot's Mobile App. Rob (AI host): On Android, you tap the search bar, then the start voice mode icon, and speak naturally. Dana (AI host): Any catches? Rob (AI host): A Super Admin has to enroll in that beta. Rob (AI host): HubSpot says it's English only, limited to one hour per user per day, and separate from speech-to-text dictation. Dana (AI host): So typing stays the default, and voice is something the account opts into. Rob (AI host): Exactly, and only after a Super Admin enrolls in the beta. Dana (AI host): Here's a made-up scenario. Dana (AI host): A rep between visits taps the search bar and asks Breeze to prepare for the next meeting. Dana (AI host): Then she opens the deal record herself before walking in. Rob (AI host): Because the answer is only as good as the record. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Hey, it's George B. Thomas from Sidekick Strategies. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Full honesty, this is my AI voice clone, made with my permission. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): If a rep asks Breeze about a customer and the record is half empty, the answer will be too. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): That's a CRM setup problem. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Sidekick's CRM Implementation maps your sales process before touching a single setting, then builds properties, pipelines, and permissions that match how your team works. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): We set up deduplication and data quality rules from the start, and we train your team. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Find it under services at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Dana (AI host): Skeptic time. Dana (AI host): Our write-up describes a Breeze Bar with separate Search and Ask choices, and your text carrying over when you switch. Dana (AI host): Is that in HubSpot's help? Rob (AI host): Not in those words. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's help just says tap the search bar at the bottom and enter a prompt. Rob (AI host): So the labels on your screen may differ. Dana (AI host): So what couldn't we confirm on top of that? Rob (AI host): Our write-up says the bar replaced a floating action button, and that people without Breeze Assistant keep the standard Global Search. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's pages don't mention either one, so check a teammate's phone before you train anyone. Dana (AI host): Noted. Check a real phone. Dana (AI host): Does the August note say anything about plans? Rob (AI host): Its mobile section lists availability as iOS and Android. Rob (AI host): For Breeze Assistant in the mobile app, the help article says all products and plans. Dana (AI host): So the real gate is that AI setting. Rob (AI host): That's how we read it, yes. Dana (AI host): One more for after the meeting. Can Breeze help with the follow-up email? Rob (AI host): From a contact record in the app, you tap the email icon, then the AI icon, and fill in prompts like what you're selling and the tone of the email. Rob (AI host): Then you review the subject line and body, and insert it or regenerate. Dana (AI host): So the follow-up is drafted before you start the car. Dana (AI host): Okay, plan time. What does a sales manager do this week? Rob (AI host): Step one: confirm Give users access to Breeze Assistant is on in your AI settings. Dana (AI host): Step two: have every Android rep update the HubSpot app. Rob (AI host): Step three: show them the search bar at the bottom, plus one real prompt, like prepare for my next meeting. Dana (AI host): Step four: try the business card example on the next card someone hands them. Rob (AI host): Step five: if your team wants voice, ask a Super Admin about the voice beta, and remember the daily limit. Dana (AI host): Step six: spot-check a few deal records, because thin records mean thin answers. Dana (AI host): Parking-lot verdict: worth a quick demo at your next sales meeting, as long as your records are worth reading. Rob (AI host): Grab your phone after this and tap that search bar once. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's August updates, its mobile help articles, and our write-up are in the show notes, with more at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Rob (AI host): Thanks for listening, and safe travels between meetings. Dana (AI host): Search less, ask more. Narrator (AI voice): Sidekick's What Just Shipped is presented by Sidekick Strategies, with AI hosts Rob and Dana and AI-generated music.
