- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: AM six forty.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Bill Handle here. It is a Tuesday morning, April fourteenth.
- 0:09Speaker 2: April fourteenth's a big day, Tax Day tomorrow. Abraham Lincoln assassinated,
- 0:16Speaker 2: the Titanic going down all on April fourteen.
- 0:21Speaker 3: It is time for.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Well it come with some of the stories in Jesus
- 0:26Speaker 4: Christ story when we do that coming up at eight fifty,
- 0:29Speaker 4: because that's always fun and just you know, portray yourself
- 0:33Speaker 4: as Jesus, you know, why not?
- 0:35Speaker 3: You know you've got nothing else to do.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hey, Neil, before we get too rich, how does that
- 0:39Speaker 2: work for Halloween in religious neighborhoods?
- 0:45Speaker 5: What dressing up is Jesus? Yeah, I've seen Jesus' costumes?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Okay, all right, Well, just wondering.
- 0:53Speaker 5: I think it's different betraying, got it, pretending like in
- 0:57Speaker 5: a play or something, versus say look me, I'm your
- 1:01Speaker 5: Lord and savior.
- 1:03Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Rich Tomorrow rich on Tech every Saturday, eleven am to
- 1:06Speaker 2: two pm. He's on KTLA every day, Instagram, at rich
- 1:10Speaker 2: on Tech website, rich on tech dot TV.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Good morning, Rich, Good morning to you. Bill.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry to take that time away from you to
- 1:19Speaker 2: talk about the Jesus story, but it's a lot more
- 1:22Speaker 2: interesting and much more entertaining in general.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Okay, thank you.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Oh here, what a way to call me up?
- 1:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, welcome to the show.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Now, Amazon is acquiring the satellite company, and I mean
- 1:34Speaker 2: for how many billions of dollars?
- 1:38Speaker 3: So let's talk about that.
- 1:41Speaker 6: Yeah, this is a pretty big deal. So Amazon is
- 1:44Speaker 6: acquiring global Star. This is the satellite company behind Apple's
- 1:49Speaker 6: emergency SOS feature.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So when I saw this, I said, ooh, that's interesting.
- 1:53Speaker 6: Apparently the deal is valued around eleven billion dollars. And
- 1:58Speaker 6: the main thing that well, there's two things here. Number one,
- 2:01Speaker 6: Apple's iPhone satellite feature will continue working. That's the good news.
- 2:05Speaker 6: They mentioned it specifically in this deal. But the bigger
- 2:08Speaker 6: news is that this really bolsters Amazon's satellite project, which
- 2:14Speaker 6: is called Leo. So instantly they're going to get like
- 2:17Speaker 6: working satellites up in the sky already, and that's going
- 2:20Speaker 6: to help them rival Elon Musk's Starlink in a bigger way,
- 2:25Speaker 6: which is really the market leader here. But now global
- 2:28Speaker 6: Star going to be a big contender now that they
- 2:31Speaker 6: have Apple, not only Apple behind them, but also Amazon.
- 2:34Speaker 6: At this point, hey.
- 2:35Speaker 2: How many companies do this because the only one I
- 2:38Speaker 2: was aware of his star Link. But of course there
- 2:40Speaker 2: has to be competition out there.
- 2:43Speaker 3: And are they.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Throwing up thousands of satellites at each company?
- 2:49Speaker 6: Yes, and there are a couple of competitors out there.
- 2:51Speaker 6: I think Global Star was probably the biggest competitor to
- 2:56Speaker 6: Starlink at this point. There are others lots of people
- 2:59Speaker 6: trying to do this. Problem is it costs a lot
- 3:01Speaker 6: of money. And if you look at the satellites out
- 3:04Speaker 6: in space, Starlink is ahead in a very very big way.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:10Speaker 6: You can look at this website that I mentioned before,
- 3:13Speaker 6: Satellite Map dot Space. You can see they've got communications.
- 3:18Speaker 6: Iridium is another company, Global Stars, like the one we
- 3:23Speaker 6: just talked about. AST, that's the company I believe that
- 3:27Speaker 6: Verizon is working with. And then link l y NK.
- 3:31Speaker 6: I haven't heard of that one. They only have just
- 3:34Speaker 6: four satellites out there. So when you look at these
- 3:36Speaker 6: different satellite companies, there's just none of them. I mean,
- 3:39Speaker 6: Iridium eighty satellites, Global starlet's how many they have eighty
- 3:44Speaker 6: five and AST has seven. So this is the reason
- 3:49Speaker 6: why when you actually try to use these emergency satellite
- 3:52Speaker 6: features on your phone.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's not Starlink. By the way.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Starlink it works everywhere, it works in your pocket. With
- 3:57Speaker 6: these other companies, you have to hold your phone out
- 4:00Speaker 6: in the sky for a period of time until the
- 4:03Speaker 6: satellite literally passes over your phone to pick up that message.
- 4:07Speaker 6: So it's a very different experience depending on whether you're
- 4:10Speaker 6: using an iPhone or a Starlink enabled phone through T
- 4:14Speaker 6: Mobile or something like that.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, very big difference with an SOS called going out.
- 4:19Speaker 2: How many satellites does the Musk organization have Starlink?
- 4:25Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, let me look, I think it's up
- 4:27Speaker 6: to let's see here, we are up to ten and thirteen. Wow,
- 4:33Speaker 6: that is an incredible number. And here's the you know,
- 4:37Speaker 6: the real winner here are people because we are now
- 4:41Speaker 6: living in a world where you have connectivity everywhere anywhere
- 4:45Speaker 6: you go. So if you're hiking, if you know for
- 4:47Speaker 6: emergency services, work out of home, you know you want
- 4:51Speaker 6: to work anywhere in the world, you know you can
- 4:53Speaker 6: do it now. The thing is this is just going
- 4:55Speaker 6: to keep getting better, and the real winner will be
- 4:58Speaker 6: when we can make calls on our phone using satellite
- 5:01Speaker 6: from anywhere we are, which is something that you know,
- 5:03Speaker 6: right now you need a satellite phone. Right now they're
- 5:06Speaker 6: limiting you to texting, But in the future, your cell
- 5:09Speaker 6: phone potentially will have that capability of just making a
- 5:12Speaker 6: call anywhere over satellite's.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I mean that's truly incredible.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And then then Elon Musk, as crazy as he is,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and everybody knows he is nuts. I mean, you talk
- 5:21Speaker 2: about a visionary not only with the cars, electric cars,
- 5:27Speaker 2: but with this, I mean all of it, you know,
- 5:30Speaker 2: I mean the starlink.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I mean, he's just way above you know, his space system.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, the guy is scary, brilliant and crazy
- 5:39Speaker 2: at the same time.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And so how does anybody how does.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Somebody catch up with a guy You're at eighty satellites
- 5:46Speaker 2: and he's at two thousand, or he's at yeah, two
- 5:49Speaker 2: thousand satellites.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Where do you go with that ten thousand?
- 5:53Speaker 6: I mean this guy ten thousand and I stay corrected.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Where how do you compete against that without spending billions?
- 6:00Speaker 1: And over the course of years, Well, look what just happened.
- 6:04Speaker 6: I mean Amazon tried to do it on their own
- 6:06Speaker 6: with their you know, they were launching, they planned on
- 6:08Speaker 6: launching I think about three thousand satellites in the next year.
- 6:11Speaker 6: So now they just acquired this company that doesn't have much,
- 6:14Speaker 6: but they've got the infrastructure and they have that huge
- 6:17Speaker 6: deal with Apple. So that is one way of catching up,
- 6:20Speaker 6: is just acquiring other companies that are doing what you're
- 6:22Speaker 6: trying to do. And the fact is, look, the fact
- 6:26Speaker 6: that Amazon is getting into this in such a big
- 6:28Speaker 6: way is going to have a lot of repercussions for
- 6:31Speaker 6: their company. Actually a lot of benefits for their company,
- 6:34Speaker 6: because think about it, Amazon is a logistics company. They
- 6:37Speaker 6: need to know where their trucks are, they need to
- 6:39Speaker 6: know where their people are, where their packages are at any.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Given moment in time.
- 6:44Speaker 6: And they probably spent a lot of money on communications.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So the fact that.
- 6:48Speaker 6: They bought this satellite company probably helps them in a
- 6:50Speaker 6: big way to you know, to lower some costs and
- 6:53Speaker 6: also to make some money from reselling these communication services.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Got it all, right, Rich, We talk about the cybercrime
- 7:04Speaker 2: and how badly it's gotten. We really don't know a
- 7:06Speaker 2: lot of the actual numbers because a lot of it
- 7:09Speaker 2: is dealing with banks and credit cards, and the banks
- 7:13Speaker 2: and credit card companies do not share with us how
- 7:15Speaker 2: much money that they're sucking up, but we do know
- 7:20Speaker 2: that it's growing like crazy, So if you would jump
- 7:24Speaker 2: in on that.
- 7:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sure there's a lot of underreporting in this
- 7:29Speaker 6: area because people are embarrassed to come forward. They don't
- 7:32Speaker 6: even know they've gotten scammed. A lot of it is
- 7:35Speaker 6: written off as like well I just paid for that
- 7:37Speaker 6: and I didn't get anything. But we do have an
- 7:40Speaker 6: FBI report latest report. According to them, Americans lost twenty
- 7:44Speaker 6: one billion dollars to cybercrime twenty one billion last year,
- 7:49Speaker 6: So that's a huge jump from last year. And scams
- 7:52Speaker 6: are definitely getting more sophisticated. Obviously, a lot of this
- 7:55Speaker 6: stuff happens online. The biggest category is investment scams and
- 8:00Speaker 6: if you can imagine, crypto related fraud is huge. And
- 8:05Speaker 6: I will give you a personal story here. So I
- 8:07Speaker 6: was talking to a family member who was trying to
- 8:09Speaker 6: sell a car and they got contacted on one of
- 8:12Speaker 6: these websites and the person wanted them to send him crypto.
- 8:18Speaker 6: And I said to this family member, I said, you
- 8:20Speaker 6: don't even know crypto, is't you don't have a crypto account.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Oh well, they sent me all the information to sign
- 8:24Speaker 6: up and get get the account up and running and
- 8:27Speaker 6: I said, no, that is a scam. Nobody needs to
- 8:30Speaker 6: be paid in crypto, and actually they want to be
- 8:33Speaker 6: They wanted to pay, they wanted him to pay, or
- 8:37Speaker 6: the person wanted to pay them more than the car
- 8:39Speaker 6: was worth, and then they would get the money back
- 8:41Speaker 6: in cash.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It was a whole thing. It's just like, come on.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Business emails still get compromised, tech support scams, romance scams,
- 8:50Speaker 6: all these scams. What's interesting a lot of them don't
- 8:53Speaker 6: even involve hacking. It's just about tricking people. And so
- 8:57Speaker 6: that's my takeaway is just be aware. A lot of
- 9:01Speaker 6: people don't realize they're getting scammed. Slow down, take a breath,
- 9:05Speaker 6: take a moment, and tell someone else. Because this family
- 9:09Speaker 6: member didn't want to tell anyone else they were doing
- 9:11Speaker 6: this because oh, you're too busy. I don't want to
- 9:13Speaker 6: deal with you. I don't want to have to you know,
- 9:15Speaker 6: bother you, no, bother your friends and family.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 2: The one that strikes me and I get these questions
- 9:21Speaker 2: on hand along the law, that's really devastating and just
- 9:25Speaker 2: you know, heartbreaking, is these you know, little old ladies
- 9:29Speaker 2: who are lonely there by themselves, and all of a sudden,
- 9:33Speaker 2: the scams start and just take advantage of vulnerable people.
- 9:38Speaker 2: And it's with AI. I think it's fairly easy to
- 9:41Speaker 2: find out who's who lives alone, how old someone is,
- 9:44Speaker 2: family members that live at least a thousand miles away
- 9:47Speaker 2: or two thousand miles away. We can find out anything,
- 9:50Speaker 2: can't we. I mean, if you actually ran my information,
- 9:53Speaker 2: you'd know everything about me.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of that happening. A lot. That's
- 9:57Speaker 1: the other thing.
- 9:58Speaker 6: A lot of these you know, people don't really like
- 10:00Speaker 6: you said, there is so much information about people out
- 10:03Speaker 6: there online.
- 10:04Speaker 1: A lot of these things are targeted.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Some of them are broad, you know, you just get
- 10:07Speaker 6: a phone call or a scam text whatever, but a
- 10:10Speaker 6: lot of it, like they do, actually have more information
- 10:12Speaker 6: about you than you might think, and so you have
- 10:14Speaker 6: to be aware that, like, no matter who's calling you,
- 10:17Speaker 6: there may be a nefarious purpose, you know, if it's
- 10:19Speaker 6: and especially like you said, with these deep fake scams,
- 10:23Speaker 6: the phone call scams where they clone the voices, people
- 10:26Speaker 6: actually get these things. And like you said, you mentioned
- 10:28Speaker 6: them on your show, my show on the weekends. When
- 10:31Speaker 6: I talk about these things, people come out of the
- 10:33Speaker 6: woodwork and they email me and they say rich. This
- 10:36Speaker 6: actually happened to a family member. They got scammed by
- 10:39Speaker 6: a voice cloning scam where literally they will call your house.
- 10:44Speaker 6: The person on the other end sounds like your loved one,
- 10:47Speaker 6: your daughter, your son, family member saying they need money
- 10:51Speaker 6: or they need help, and you know a lot of
- 10:54Speaker 6: times they don't want you to get off the phone,
- 10:56Speaker 6: and so you can't call to confirm this person. But
- 11:00Speaker 6: the one that the person that emailed me said, you know,
- 11:01Speaker 6: they were standing right there and so they knew it
- 11:03Speaker 6: was a scam immediately. But these things do happen, so
- 11:06Speaker 6: you just have to be aware.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but the Philippines, your loved one is in jail
- 11:14Speaker 2: and needs bail money like right now, and police send
- 11:18Speaker 2: it here, and it was and people fall for that.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I mean, you know, people fall because they you know,
- 11:25Speaker 2: they love their kids, they love their grandchildren. I'm never
- 11:29Speaker 2: gonna have to worry about that. If anybody were to
- 11:31Speaker 2: call me, I'd go, yeah, go ahead and just keep them.
- 11:34Speaker 3: But you know, I've been.
- 11:36Speaker 2: A victim of scams before, but mine was the business
- 11:39Speaker 2: scams where I was billed for little bits of money,
- 11:44Speaker 2: you know, you know, eighty dollars here for you know,
- 11:48Speaker 2: paper goods or whatever. And because it's when you have
- 11:51Speaker 2: a business and you're dealing with thousands of dollars going out,
- 11:55Speaker 2: you know, someone sends you one hundred and twenty dollars bill,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you don't pay attention to it.
- 11:59Speaker 3: And when you look at that coming up.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And I was a victim of that until I looked
- 12:03Speaker 2: really carefully at at what was going on.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I mean, there's eight million.
- 12:07Speaker 2: And I consider myself fairly sophisticated because I'm a cynic.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I don't believe anything anybody sends me at all.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Uh uh. But you know, I don't know how I've
- 12:18Speaker 2: been scammed. I know, and that instance I was, so
- 12:22Speaker 2: let me ask you, have you been scammed?
- 12:23Speaker 3: And you're a multi stated as I know.
- 12:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I have not been scammed, thankfully, But
- 12:30Speaker 6: I will tell you that I think that what you
- 12:32Speaker 6: just mentioned is a is a pretty big vector area
- 12:36Speaker 6: because think about it. If you're getting all these little
- 12:39Speaker 6: charges on your card. Now, we buy on Amazon all
- 12:41Speaker 6: the time. You know, if someone were to put an
- 12:44Speaker 6: Amazon charge on your card, how would you know if
- 12:47Speaker 6: that was a legitimate charge? You do you remember every
- 12:50Speaker 6: single Amazon charge that you have made, and for the
- 12:53Speaker 6: exact amount probably not so if companies were you know,
- 12:56Speaker 6: if scam artists were putting these little charges on your
- 12:59Speaker 6: credit card that were Amazon seemingly related, you may not
- 13:03Speaker 6: know the difference. So, you know, people don't like to
- 13:05Speaker 6: check their bills. They don't like to you know, you
- 13:07Speaker 6: get a bill in the mail, you pay it, especially
- 13:09Speaker 6: medical billing. You know, oh, this blood test, whatever it was,
- 13:13Speaker 6: you just pay it. So just be aware. I got
- 13:16Speaker 6: I got a thing bill in the mail the other
- 13:17Speaker 6: day for the statement of information from the California you know,
- 13:22Speaker 6: Security Off whatever they call it, for the if you
- 13:25Speaker 6: have an LLC and it turns out it was a scam,
- 13:29Speaker 6: like this company charges you five hundred dollars to file
- 13:31Speaker 6: it on your behalf or whatever, when it's really something
- 13:34Speaker 6: you can charge do yourself for twenty bucks.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I see a lot of those homestead homestead your
- 13:40Speaker 2: home or yeah, a lot of that. All right, Rich,
- 13:44Speaker 2: we'll catch you this Saturday, eleven o'clock today, KTLA every
- 13:49Speaker 2: day and Instagram at rich on Tech website, rich on
- 13:53Speaker 2: Tech dot tv. You have a good one, Rich, Take care.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Thanks. Bill.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom in Calififornia. I mean, we're big on alternative
- 14:02Speaker 2: energy as much as the Trump administration goes one way,
- 14:07Speaker 2: California goes.
- 14:08Speaker 3: The other way.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And when it comes to renewable energies, when it comes
- 14:12Speaker 2: to climate change, when it comes to basically taking care
- 14:17Speaker 2: of an environment, California's at the forefront. So here's what
- 14:21Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom just did. And some of this makes sense,
- 14:25Speaker 2: and well, actually none of it makes sense. And what
- 14:28Speaker 2: he wants to do is to use road repair funds
- 14:33Speaker 2: to subsidize green jet fuel. And there was a company,
- 14:38Speaker 2: a Houston oil company that lobbied Newsom's office.
- 14:41Speaker 3: This all happened really quietly.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So Newsom is advancing a plan that could funnel hundreds
- 14:47Speaker 2: of millions dollars in road dollars to A and one
- 14:52Speaker 2: oil refinery and pitching it as a cleaner jet fuel initiative,
- 14:56Speaker 2: and it is the problem is does it make any sense?
- 15:00Speaker 2: And so the credit will come from vote from funds
- 15:05Speaker 2: that we designated for highway and local streets, and no
- 15:08Speaker 2: doubt it will raise gas prices for most drivers. And
- 15:12Speaker 2: here is the problem with it. Although it will be
- 15:16Speaker 2: better for the environment, we're talking about biofuels. Jet biofuels,
- 15:21Speaker 2: you make it out of rotten seaweed, and grease that
- 15:24Speaker 2: you get from McDonald's and Burger King, and you make
- 15:28Speaker 2: it out of whatever the hell they make.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Biofuels out of.
- 15:31Speaker 2: The problem is is that most economists say it costs
- 15:36Speaker 2: ten times more to cut emissions than it would with
- 15:41Speaker 2: almost any other program. I mean, that's kind of crazy,
- 15:46Speaker 2: and it's going to take money away from the roads.
- 15:49Speaker 3: It's a four page proposal, and so here is the
- 15:54Speaker 3: way it works.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's a tax credit to producer, of which only two
- 16:01Speaker 2: companies who produce state certified jet biofuel and oh diesel
- 16:07Speaker 2: taxes in California. They're the only two companies that can
- 16:12Speaker 2: claim the credit. Only one, Phillips sixty six, has confirmed
- 16:19Speaker 2: it would qualify for the credit. The company spent one
- 16:22Speaker 2: point twenty five billion dollars converting a refineryate has in
- 16:26Speaker 2: Contra Costa County from a traditional petroleum refinery to biofuels.
- 16:34Speaker 2: And it's all about not using normal aviation gas. It's
- 16:39Speaker 2: all about using these biofuels which are hideously expensive to produce,
- 16:45Speaker 2: but it's better for the environment used cooking grease, animal fats.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I mean, that is discussing although if you know there
- 16:56Speaker 2: are cars that I use biofuel.
- 16:58Speaker 3: You ever smelled a car that put bio.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Fuel into the tank and as they pass you smells
- 17:04Speaker 2: like French fries.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, That's what I was gonna say. Yeah, it
- 17:08Speaker 3: smells great. It's like, oh, it's tremendous.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Anyway, the state this is the State Analyst's office, estimates
- 17:18Speaker 2: that the proposal is going to cost between one hundred
- 17:20Speaker 2: and sixty five to three hundred million dollars. But the
- 17:25Speaker 2: legislature we're talking about, the the legislative analysts are saying, oh,
- 17:30Speaker 2: it's going to be a lot higher than that. And
- 17:33Speaker 2: so here's newsom isn't that terrific? And we're going to
- 17:37Speaker 2: make this place green even if it makes absolutely no
- 17:39Speaker 2: sense whatsoever.
- 17:42Speaker 3: When does reality ever hit anybody? At this point?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Where do people come to the table and not go crazy?
- 17:50Speaker 2: I think those days are gone. They really have, Oh
- 17:52Speaker 2: talking about going crazy?
- 17:59Speaker 7: Why I am six forty bill handle here? Oh yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 7: everybody's doing the way. Oh good for you, hands up
- 18:06Speaker 7: in the air, yes, Hi, good for you.
- 18:14Speaker 2: This is when I wish this was television, truly, I
- 18:17Speaker 2: wish it were Okay, why is that?
- 18:21Speaker 3: What is going on here?
- 18:23Speaker 2: Well, let me start with a statement and that is,
- 18:26Speaker 2: if I were a Republican running for Congress, maybe rerunning
- 18:32Speaker 2: for Congress, and I am putting basically putting myself in
- 18:38Speaker 2: the coattails of Donald Trump, I'd be sweating some bullets
- 18:41Speaker 2: right now because I'm going to argue that President Trump
- 18:44Speaker 2: is doing everything he can to destroy chances of Republicans
- 18:48Speaker 2: winning the next election. Coming out case in point his
- 18:53Speaker 2: latest episode, and that is his decision to post an
- 18:58Speaker 2: Ai generated him depicting him.
- 19:01Speaker 3: As Jesus, straight out Jesus.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Well, you think there's some pushback from Catholic Evangelical Christian supporters.
- 19:12Speaker 2: John Yepp, who CEO of Catholics for Catholics, who has
- 19:16Speaker 2: hosted faith events at Mar A Lago, said, we're a
- 19:18Speaker 2: little bit beside ourselves really. On Sunday night, he was
- 19:22Speaker 2: eating dinner after church services. His phone lights up and messages.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Now are the now deleted image. They're talking about that.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Wait a minute, this is crazy, And the sentiment around
- 19:36Speaker 2: the table said, yeah, one of sadness, because we are
- 19:41Speaker 2: truly confused by this president, especially after Catholics gave him
- 19:45Speaker 2: such a resounding vote, and he is treating our religion,
- 19:49Speaker 2: our faith was such disrespect at this moment. If you
- 19:54Speaker 2: look at the posts and it's up there, you know,
- 19:56Speaker 2: you can google it. You know he deleted it, but
- 19:58Speaker 2: it's still.
- 19:59Speaker 3: There for the world.
- 20:00Speaker 2: See there he is in what appears to be well
- 20:04Speaker 2: robes that look an awful light like the robes that
- 20:07Speaker 2: Jesus would would wear. He is holding an orb in
- 20:12Speaker 2: his hand, which from eminite emanates light from his other
- 20:18Speaker 2: hand is putting it on the forehead of someone laying down,
- 20:22Speaker 2: and behind that someone's head light emanates from there. And
- 20:28Speaker 2: the bottom line is he's got people praying in the background.
- 20:32Speaker 3: He's got the American.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Flag fighters fighter jet fighters over the Statue of Liberty.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I mean, it's all one conflated mess. And the problem
- 20:43Speaker 2: is is the backlash. And here is his problem, and
- 20:47Speaker 2: I think it is his problem. He will never either
- 20:50Speaker 2: apologize or not double down. Not once have I heard
- 20:54Speaker 2: him not doubled, seen him double down, not once that
- 20:59Speaker 2: he has not done that.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And it's just see the prompt.
- 21:04Speaker 5: If he I want to see the prompt, and if
- 21:07Speaker 5: he prompted, AI make me look like a doctor. Oh
- 21:12Speaker 5: that's the other thing, yes, you know, it's he claims,
- 21:15Speaker 5: the way you prompted, make me look like a doctor,
- 21:17Speaker 5: and that's what came out of the AI.
- 21:19Speaker 2: And when he uh, when that came out and he
- 21:23Speaker 2: looks like Jesus. I mean, there's no question if you
- 21:25Speaker 2: take a look at this saying there is Donald Trump
- 21:27Speaker 2: is Jesus straight out And he said, no, No, I
- 21:30Speaker 2: thought I was being depicted as a doctor helping people
- 21:34Speaker 2: Red Cross because I really support the Red Cross.
- 21:37Speaker 3: All right. I I don't know who believes that.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Jd Vance said it was a joke, and then he
- 21:44Speaker 2: ran a video of pop Leo just laughing his ass off,
- 21:49Speaker 2: saying that was one of the funniest jokes I've ever heard, right,
- 21:53Speaker 2: of course, And so there's a are you surprised that
- 21:57Speaker 2: he didn't just say, you know what, I made mistake.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I shouldn't have put that up there, But he can't.
- 22:02Speaker 2: He just can't say that. So is the backlash going
- 22:06Speaker 2: to go away? Of course it is, of course it is?
- 22:10Speaker 3: Was it?
- 22:11Speaker 2: Here is the White House was asked for a statement.
- 22:15Speaker 2: And by the way, this also statement about when he
- 22:18Speaker 2: posted on true Social and AI generated image of himself
- 22:22Speaker 2: as pope. But this one's one step above this is Jesus.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So I guess that crosses another line and the White House.
- 22:31Speaker 2: The only thing the White House said when asked about
- 22:34Speaker 2: this post, the President has delivered unprecedented victories for Americans
- 22:39Speaker 2: the faith, and he will continue to protect and expand
- 22:42Speaker 2: our sacred right to religious freedom.
- 22:44Speaker 3: That was a statement by the White House.
- 22:47Speaker 2: How about the fact that he posted as himself as Jesus.
- 22:52Speaker 2: The President has delivered unprecedented victories for religious folks in
- 22:57Speaker 2: this country.
- 22:58Speaker 3: So is this going to hurt him?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Well, you add this, and you add what's going on
- 23:02Speaker 2: in Iran, you add what's going on with his depiction
- 23:06Speaker 2: of the pope you ask for, you talk about his
- 23:08Speaker 2: fight with Pope Leo, And that's the other thing. The
- 23:11Speaker 2: hubris strives me nuts. The only reason Pope Leo was
- 23:14Speaker 2: elected pope is because he is an American and they
- 23:21Speaker 2: had to take into account Donald Trump as president. That
- 23:24Speaker 2: was the overriding reason why the College of Cardinals elected
- 23:28Speaker 2: Leo the pope because of Donald Trump. Is there anything
- 23:32Speaker 2: that happens in this world that is not affected by
- 23:36Speaker 2: Donald Trump anything?
- 23:38Speaker 3: I guess not. I guess not. It is crazy.
- 23:42Speaker 2: And for those of you that are saying, oh handle,
- 23:43Speaker 2: you're just all one sided, I gotta tell you this
- 23:46Speaker 2: is getting better and better. You know what, for those
- 23:47Speaker 2: of you who disagree with everything I say, which you
- 23:51Speaker 2: know is legitimate. I mean there are people that are
- 23:53Speaker 2: on the other side of the coin when it comes
- 23:54Speaker 2: to this administration, defend this one for me.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Would you please defend this one? All right? We're done.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Coming up Gary and Shannon tomorrow we are back again.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Wake Up Call with Amy and Will Neil and I
- 24:09Speaker 2: come aboard and there's Cono and Ann desperately looking for
- 24:15Speaker 2: Jesus and unfortunately they're looking at a picture of Donald
- 24:18Speaker 2: Trump and don't really understand what's going on.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Okay, we're done. Well, I don't know if that was
- 24:24Speaker 3: sacrilege or not, but yeah, that almost worked. No, it didn't.
