- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by Draft Kings. The crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. Super Bowl Sunday has come and gone. We
- 0:16Speaker 1: are almost a full week removed from the end of
- 0:19Speaker 1: the NFL season. What will we do now? Well, you'll
- 0:23Speaker 1: find out shortly. Our Favorites crew is back though. I'm
- 0:26Speaker 1: Brandon Kravitz, joined by the Prime Minister of Degenerate Nation Stucky.
- 0:30Speaker 1: The Queen of the Pod, Miss Kendra Middleton. On today's episode,
- 0:35Speaker 1: we have our NFL Season Awards.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I should have worn a tucks.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It's like the Oscars, but for djens and goofs. Like
- 0:44Speaker 1: us guys, we have entered the Abyss. I'm about to
- 0:49Speaker 1: dip into the NBA All Star Break. I think I'm
- 0:51Speaker 1: gonna go dark for about four days because I need sleep.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Stucky has needed sleep all year. Kendra, You're locked into
- 0:58Speaker 1: the Winter Olympics.
- 1:00Speaker 2: How are you feeling?
- 1:01Speaker 3: I am walked into the Winter Olympics. I'm actually doing
- 1:04Speaker 3: my Formula one season preview, so I'm getting ready to
- 1:07Speaker 3: drop that on Saturday because it's testing out in Bahrain
- 1:11Speaker 3: right now. So I'm going to get like one day
- 1:13Speaker 3: of sleep, but I am taking this week off of gambling.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It's weird having I don't know if you guys are
- 1:17Speaker 3: going through this kind of crisis that I am. It's
- 1:19Speaker 3: weird having so much free time, Like usually my Monday, Thursday,
- 1:25Speaker 3: Sunday all occupied, and now that I have all this
- 1:28Speaker 3: free time. And I say all of this free time,
- 1:30Speaker 3: I mean by like my nights are not controlled by football,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and neither is my Sunday. And now I'm just working
- 1:35Speaker 3: a shift at the radio on Sundays. I'm like, what
- 1:37Speaker 3: do I do with all of this time? Until F
- 1:40Speaker 3: one starts in three weeks and I have no days
- 1:43Speaker 3: off again. But it feels weird having night time time
- 1:45Speaker 3: to myself. I'm like, what do I do with my hands?
- 1:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I'm watching a lot of like reality television.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I haven't quite gotten there yet.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I did pick up the show on Apple that people
- 1:55Speaker 1: have been recommending for a while, Shrinking.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Anybody watch that yet? Okay? Well, anyway, I watched one episode.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It was pretty good.
- 2:02Speaker 1: But the free time thing, I don't think I've quite
- 2:04Speaker 1: gotten there yet. Stucky, how are you adjusting to life
- 2:07Speaker 1: without football?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah, no free time here? Just more college basketball. So
- 2:15Speaker 4: that's it'll be all college basketball all the time. For
- 2:18Speaker 4: me from now until the national title. But it's nice
- 2:22Speaker 4: to be able to just focus on one sport, which
- 2:27Speaker 4: is nice. Trying to juggle them all is always tough.
- 2:30Speaker 4: So yeah, that's my nights are watching college basketball. My
- 2:34Speaker 4: overnights and days are Captain College Basketball March Madness Conference tournaments,
- 2:39Speaker 4: which one of my favorite weeks of the year will
- 2:40Speaker 4: year before we know it. So no free time yet.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I'll have that.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I placed a futures bet on Perdue to win the
- 2:48Speaker 1: national championship because I really like Braden Smith.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Is that a good idea or a bad idea? When
- 2:54Speaker 2: when did? I was like two weeks ago? I think
- 2:57Speaker 2: I got twenty to one.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I mean I too. A couple of weeks ago I
- 3:00Speaker 4: bet for Due to go to the final four at
- 3:03Speaker 4: six to one. I will get it.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It was twelve to one.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yeah that's not great. But they have issues on defense.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Is you know, they play with a couple of bigs
- 3:17Speaker 4: and their defense and I'm not sure that they they
- 3:21Speaker 4: need their role players. They need some of these freshmen
- 3:23Speaker 4: to step up. I mean, I think that the affair
- 3:28Speaker 4: to win the title is probably like twenty to one.
- 3:33Speaker 5: So are you all combine people?
- 3:36Speaker 2: I used to be a combined person.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But I've been burned too many times over the years.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I never bet it, but I'll mean, I'll pay attention
- 3:44Speaker 4: to some of what's going on. But they have I mean,
- 3:48Speaker 4: Spit's one of the best point guards the country, Painters,
- 3:50Speaker 4: a really good coach, Lawyers starting to make shots again,
- 3:54Speaker 4: Trey Coffin Rens. It's just he's in a different kind
- 3:57Speaker 4: of a different role this year. But they're playing with
- 4:00Speaker 4: a couple of bigs and they need their other role players.
- 4:02Speaker 4: They need some of these freshmen to step up if
- 4:04Speaker 4: they're going to make a if they could win the
- 4:06Speaker 4: national title, it's but they certainly can make it run.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It's very top heavy. I mean, people that aren't paying
- 4:14Speaker 4: attention to college basketball this season, like closely right, A
- 4:21Speaker 4: lot of people that have just been locked in on football.
- 4:23Speaker 4: And there's a lot of people out there that don't
- 4:24Speaker 4: pay any attention to college basketball until the tournament. And
- 4:27Speaker 4: people for years have fallen in love with, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 4: cinderellas and upsets. That's part of the romanticism of the tournament.
- 4:34Speaker 4: But I mean last year, there was like none, there
- 4:37Speaker 4: was like no major upset.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I was, yeah, I was just going to say, when
- 4:41Speaker 3: I am like in a gamble in the tournament this year,
- 4:43Speaker 3: the first round, I'm going to take every single favorite
- 4:46Speaker 3: just because of the nil and the transfer portal. We
- 4:48Speaker 3: used to have Cinderella's because it was like continuity of
- 4:51Speaker 3: teams and these guys would have been together forever, and
- 4:54Speaker 3: there's just like no loyalty in it anymore, Like we don't.
- 4:57Speaker 3: We aren't going to have those Cinderella stories anymore because
- 4:59Speaker 3: the continentnuity of teams.
- 5:01Speaker 5: And that being their strong suit is no longer there.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Yeah, we also have like anyone who's good is transferring,
- 5:08Speaker 4: any coach that it's good is moving up, And yeah,
- 5:13Speaker 4: it's just gonna be much more difficult, not not as
- 5:16Speaker 4: I mean you might see it an upset or two,
- 5:20Speaker 4: but as far as like making a run, it's going
- 5:23Speaker 4: to be much more difficult to see like a Saint
- 5:26Speaker 4: Peter's see years ago. So you know, the mid majors,
- 5:32Speaker 4: I think as the best chance of doing it is
- 5:34Speaker 4: Saint Louis. They're very, very good. But yeah, you're just
- 5:39Speaker 4: not going to have as many Cinderella stories, but you'll
- 5:43Speaker 4: have the end of the of the tournament will be better.
- 5:50Speaker 4: So like like college football, the everyone at the like
- 5:53Speaker 4: there's a it's not like there's one or two teams
- 5:56Speaker 4: that are so much better than everyone like college football
- 5:59Speaker 4: used to be, right, there's like ten to twelve teams
- 6:03Speaker 4: that could realistically win it all, I think, And it's
- 6:07Speaker 4: going to be the case most forward going forward. So
- 6:10Speaker 4: like the Sweet sixteen Elite eight Final four, it's going
- 6:13Speaker 4: to keep getting better and better. But the first two days,
- 6:18Speaker 4: which are like my favorite two days in sports, maybe
- 6:22Speaker 4: you won't be as entertaining going forward, but we'll have that. Well,
- 6:25Speaker 4: I guess a PSA is that we'll be covering all
- 6:29Speaker 4: off season. We'll be covering lots of different sports. You know,
- 6:33Speaker 4: World Cup, there's a lot, there's a lot going on,
- 6:36Speaker 4: some golf, some tennis, and obviously some college basketball, which
- 6:39Speaker 4: we'll we'll talk about some more next Staursday.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I'm gonna make you, guys, Formula one fans.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Big bets on campus too. I'll be our weekend preview
- 6:47Speaker 4: will be out tonight.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Hey, you can hand out the winners, Kendra and we
- 6:51Speaker 1: will follow, Okay, Evan. Before we move on from this
- 6:54Speaker 1: wonderful introduction, what are you priming these days?
- 6:58Speaker 4: Oh?
- 6:58Speaker 6: College basketball? Thirty one days of the bracket. I'm already
- 7:01Speaker 6: putting together March madness stuff. I have a primer for that,
- 7:06Speaker 6: working on WNBA things, working on the draft. I mean,
- 7:10Speaker 6: we've been doing this for a long long time, so
- 7:12Speaker 6: as soon as football ends, I know what's next. So
- 7:15Speaker 6: I'm just working on that. We sleep in like May,
- 7:18Speaker 6: maybe early June.
- 7:20Speaker 5: When do you start priming the draft?
- 7:22Speaker 6: Now, I've already got like a mock together. I mean
- 7:26Speaker 6: last year I did all of our draft coverage here
- 7:28Speaker 6: at Action, so just looking at positions. I'm a combined guy,
- 7:33Speaker 6: but it's only like a percentage of kind of what
- 7:36Speaker 6: the mock season is all about. And like Stuck said,
- 7:41Speaker 6: just digesting as much college basketball as I can since
- 7:43Speaker 6: the super Bowl just ended. And yeah, like dogs kind
- 7:46Speaker 6: of struggled last year early tournament, which kind of made
- 7:50Speaker 6: for a better end of the tournament. But either way,
- 7:53Speaker 6: I think it's just kind of more exciting. And obviously
- 7:55Speaker 6: Miami Ohio is an interesting story at the moment. I
- 7:59Speaker 6: don't think they're gonna be great in the tournament, but
- 8:01Speaker 6: this day undefeated, it's a fun story nonetheless, But yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 6: a lot of a lot of cool stuff going on, and.
- 8:08Speaker 4: The news at U Mass next week.
- 8:09Speaker 3: By the way, playing there you go shout out stuck
- 8:14Speaker 3: for that call the other night on the Kansas game.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah, even with that, Darren Peterson never doubt the power
- 8:20Speaker 1: of the fog on a Monday night.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I don't think those selfs ever lost on a Monday night,
- 8:24Speaker 4: do you know?
- 8:24Speaker 6: I think?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the agents called and said our boy won't be
- 8:29Speaker 1: playing today. Okay, sorry, but Kansas went ahead and won
- 8:32Speaker 1: the game anyway, so we all mad.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Your storyline, by the way, that's something like what is
- 8:37Speaker 4: I mean if you look, he hasn't I don't know
- 8:39Speaker 4: how many flues he had, but like he's like Lamar,
- 8:44Speaker 4: he hasn't. He didn't. He didn't play against Tennessee, he
- 8:49Speaker 4: didn't play against Dude. Now he just doesn't play against Arizona.
- 8:54Speaker 4: They're gonna have the big twelve tournaments, gonna have an
- 8:56Speaker 4: experimental glass led court. So is he gonna but uh yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 4: that's a major storyline because before it was like there
- 9:05Speaker 4: was also like he had some injuries and then it
- 9:06Speaker 4: would always be cramps. And now it's like what do
- 9:09Speaker 4: the powers that be say before each game? I don't know.
- 9:12Speaker 4: It's it's because they have that final four upside with him,
- 9:17Speaker 4: like he kind of stops the ball a little bit
- 9:19Speaker 4: when he plays, Like so they they're still really good
- 9:22Speaker 4: without him, but with him, like just having his scoring ability,
- 9:27Speaker 4: I think he obviously raises their ceiling. Is one of
- 9:29Speaker 4: the best players in the country. But that's it's an
- 9:32Speaker 4: amazing story. He's kind of I kind of say he's
- 9:34Speaker 4: like the cam ra He's a new Cam Rising. You
- 9:36Speaker 4: never know if he's gonna play.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So if he's like Cam Rising, he'll be in college
- 9:40Speaker 1: basketball until about twenty thirty six.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So well, that's a major difference. He's done after this year.
- 9:46Speaker 1: We will get to our NFL Betting Season Awards coming
- 9:50Speaker 1: up shortly, but first it's time to dive into the weird,
- 9:54Speaker 1: the bizarre of the random. It's Stucky's question of the week.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Hey, this is a dumb question.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Let me ask you a personal question kind of question.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Is that is question?
- 10:07Speaker 4: All right, keep it straightforward here. It's weird and bizarre.
- 10:11Speaker 4: So what is what is the weirdest thing that you
- 10:16Speaker 4: eat semi regularly? It could be like a combination on
- 10:20Speaker 4: a sandwich or something just very weird that people are
- 10:23Speaker 4: like you you eat that, or like it could be
- 10:25Speaker 4: a condiment, A weird condiment you put on something. I mine.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Mine is easy. I don't know how weird it is.
- 10:34Speaker 4: I mean, other people think it's really weird. I will
- 10:35Speaker 4: take a big glass jar of capers. I love salt.
- 10:44Speaker 4: I'm a salt guy me too, and I just will
- 10:48Speaker 4: eat capers out of a jar with a spoon as
- 10:52Speaker 4: a snack. And I love capers. I put capers on
- 10:58Speaker 4: too many things, but I will just eat capers straight
- 11:02Speaker 4: out of a jar. When I was a kid, I
- 11:03Speaker 4: used to eat. I haven't had this in a while.
- 11:05Speaker 4: When I was in like middle school, high school, I
- 11:10Speaker 4: guess sometimes I would make it. I would make peanut butter, jelly,
- 11:17Speaker 4: cheese and capers and chips, and it was it doesn't sound.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Great, but it was fire that sound good.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I'll have to make one soon.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I smoke a lot of weeds, so I feel like
- 11:31Speaker 3: I eat a lot of weird shit.
- 11:33Speaker 5: But I will say, just off the rip. I will
- 11:36Speaker 5: my true addiction in life.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I like, I don't have an addictive personality, but maple syrup.
- 11:41Speaker 3: I will put it on literally anything. I go through
- 11:45Speaker 3: maple syrup at a insane rate. I'm very lucky that
- 11:48Speaker 3: I live as close to Canada as I do. But
- 11:51Speaker 3: the other thing is sometimes when I do get too
- 11:54Speaker 3: stoned and I don't want to, like crush a bunch
- 11:56Speaker 3: of calories before bed, I will straight up, like ducky,
- 12:00Speaker 3: take three jars, one of halapenos, like pickled halapenos, one
- 12:04Speaker 3: of actual like sweet pickles, and then another of blue
- 12:07Speaker 3: cheese olives, and I will just eat them straight out
- 12:11Speaker 3: of the jar together.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I knew that Kendra was going to demolish this question.
- 12:18Speaker 4: I always have pure maple syrup in my house, and
- 12:21Speaker 4: I just anything. I put it on my oatmeal in
- 12:25Speaker 4: the morning, I.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Put it on eggs, I put it on sandwiches, I
- 12:28Speaker 3: put it in my coffee.
- 12:30Speaker 5: I will just drink it. I have a maple syrup problem.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Stucky's putting it on his capers over there.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'm an addiction. Yeah, mine is mine. Mine is honey.
- 12:40Speaker 1: In fact, I have this. I was drinking tea before
- 12:44Speaker 1: the show, and it's really just a vessel for me
- 12:46Speaker 1: to consume honey and feel like an adult because when
- 12:50Speaker 1: I was a kid, and when I say kid, I
- 12:52Speaker 1: mean probably up until like three days ago, I would
- 12:56Speaker 1: just tip that thing back and guzzle the honey right
- 12:59Speaker 1: out of the two. So that's probably the weirdest thing
- 13:02Speaker 1: that I do, because I don't know a lot of
- 13:03Speaker 1: other people that do that. And there was a spot
- 13:07Speaker 1: when I used to live in downtown Orlando. There was
- 13:09Speaker 1: a burger spot right around the corner from my apartment
- 13:12Speaker 1: that would put peanut butter on their cheeseburgers with age.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So good, so good. Obviously a little weird and better
- 13:20Speaker 2: when you're drunk.
- 13:21Speaker 5: But yeah, do you guys like blue cheese?
- 13:24Speaker 2: I love blue cheese, love it.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, okay, you guys. I knew you guys were
- 13:27Speaker 5: real ones.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I said this the other day on Twitter, real eaters.
- 13:32Speaker 5: No, it's blue cheese and not ranch.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're offered blue cheese or ranch, and I
- 13:37Speaker 1: think you can tell a lot about a person if
- 13:38Speaker 1: they roll with the ranch.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I picky eaters like ranch.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I eat honey all the time. I go to my
- 13:47Speaker 4: local farmers market and will buy local honey in jars
- 13:53Speaker 4: and I just will throughout the day take a spoonful
- 13:56Speaker 4: here or there. I love honey. And it never goes bad,
- 13:59Speaker 4: it never spoils.
- 14:00Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Wait, really, I didn't know that.
- 14:02Speaker 3: No twins, remember spoil twinkies can actually like survive nuclear war, right.
- 14:08Speaker 1: But that's because they're so unhealthy they never spoil. I
- 14:10Speaker 1: think honey actually has some health benefits to it, and
- 14:13Speaker 1: then something anti allergens and things like that. I could
- 14:17Speaker 1: see Stucky with a b collection. I could see Stucky, Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 1: making your own honey. Have you ever thought about dipping
- 14:25Speaker 1: into that territory.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I think syrup, by the way, that's really hard to
- 14:28Speaker 4: go to go bad. I guess you could get mold.
- 14:32Speaker 4: It can get mold once it's opened, but like pure
- 14:35Speaker 4: maple syrup that probably if it's not unopen, that probably
- 14:38Speaker 4: never goes bad or spoils. And then because there's a
- 14:42Speaker 4: lot of natural sugar in it, which would just I think,
- 14:44Speaker 4: fend off a lot of bacteria and all that.
- 14:47Speaker 5: But anyway, I would have eventually just turned into alcoholic.
- 14:50Speaker 5: I don't even know.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I guess we'll find I mean potentially ferment.
- 14:56Speaker 4: But if you refrigerate it, do you refrigerate your syrup?
- 15:00Speaker 4: Refrigerate my syrup?
- 15:01Speaker 2: Definitely?
- 15:02Speaker 5: I do.
- 15:02Speaker 3: If it's something like if it's like a flavored one
- 15:04Speaker 3: that I know I'm not going to use as often,
- 15:06Speaker 3: I will put it in the fridge and people think
- 15:08Speaker 3: that's nuts, but I go through it so fast that
- 15:10Speaker 3: I literally have it on my bark cart.
- 15:13Speaker 1: It is one of those weird things where they don't
- 15:15Speaker 1: refrigerate them at restaurants. Yeah, all of us throw it
- 15:18Speaker 1: in our fridge at home. I've always thought that that dynamic.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Well, Russia, you're gonna use it so much, you're using
- 15:22Speaker 4: it like a tiny don't need to refrigerate it.
- 15:25Speaker 5: I feel the same way about ketchup, like.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Do you get some ketch up in my Uh? I
- 15:30Speaker 4: put ketchup in my fridge and uh my thought. I
- 15:36Speaker 4: thought it was my cleaning lady. But every single like
- 15:39Speaker 4: day I couldn't find the ketchup and it would always
- 15:42Speaker 4: be in the pantry and ended up being my wife
- 15:45Speaker 4: who hates ketchup in the fridge, and she would move
- 15:47Speaker 4: it and then I couldn't find it. But that was
- 15:50Speaker 4: a big argument that I think. I did a Twitter poll.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Most people said that they I forget what. Most people
- 15:56Speaker 4: said that they don't refrigerate it. I don't know. I
- 15:59Speaker 4: feel like better than the refrigerator.
- 16:02Speaker 2: We can throw.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Maybe that'll be your next video, Kendra, is about refrigerating
- 16:06Speaker 1: your ketchup that I can feel the people out there going, man,
- 16:09Speaker 1: do these three need football that bad that they're worried about?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Refrigerator up?
- 16:14Speaker 4: A weird Do you have a weird food?
- 16:16Speaker 6: Do you eat hummice and pickles, hummus and blue cheese
- 16:19Speaker 6: and olives? I guess we'll probably that's fancy maple syrups. Gross,
- 16:29Speaker 6: You guys are crazy.
- 16:31Speaker 5: What the fuck? Evan, don't say that it's too sweet.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Let's move on. Come on now, this is ridiculous.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Do you eat pancakes?
- 16:39Speaker 6: Yeah? So, like that would be the only scenario where
- 16:42Speaker 6: I would maybe consider it, And even then I'm very
- 16:45Speaker 6: light on it because I just I want to taste
- 16:47Speaker 6: the pancake. I don't need the syrup, So I don't know.
- 16:51Speaker 6: Maybe I just didn't do it in that Okay.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Just a piss Evan off MFK waffles, pancakes, French toast
- 16:59Speaker 3: because I I'm killing the pancake every time.
- 17:02Speaker 6: I think it's pancakes of those three, Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Waffles, I'm marrying the waffle. I'm really French ghost and
- 17:09Speaker 3: I'm killing the pancake.

- 17:46Speaker 5: The crown is yours.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Five awards from our NFL betting endeavors this season, and
- 17:53Speaker 1: some silliness to throw in there as well. Let's start
- 17:56Speaker 1: with the positive, our favorite betting moment of the year.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Somebody will have to top this, because I don't think
- 18:06Speaker 1: that you can. It is Week fourteen, Pete Carroll electing
- 18:11Speaker 1: to kick the field goal against the Denver Broncos. They
- 18:15Speaker 1: lose by seven. The spread is seven and a half.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I didn't find out until we were live because I
- 18:21Speaker 1: had turned the game off.
- 18:22Speaker 2: In a fit of rage. I thought it was over
- 18:25Speaker 2: and I thought.
- 18:26Speaker 1: He'd go for a touchdown or nothing, and kicked the
- 18:30Speaker 1: field goal.
- 18:31Speaker 2: We cover the spread.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I had an individual bet on that game, and it
- 18:34Speaker 1: was in our two kings in a Queen parlay, and
- 18:37Speaker 1: I was stunned, still am a little that he kicked that.
- 18:41Speaker 1: But is there anything better, Kendrick, Do you have any
- 18:43Speaker 1: other that can go head to head with that?
- 18:45Speaker 5: Or I forgot about that because I also hit that
- 18:49Speaker 5: bet because of Pete Carroll. But I was going to
- 18:52Speaker 5: say the first parlay.
- 18:53Speaker 3: That we hit, because we all sat here going back
- 18:55Speaker 3: and forth forever about it and talking shit about how
- 18:59Speaker 3: much we hated it, and then it wound up hitting
- 19:01Speaker 3: and we all just got on here, like the guy
- 19:04Speaker 3: from the Muppets who's like ah, I would say that
- 19:09Speaker 3: was probably my favorite, but yeah, the Pete Carroll one
- 19:11Speaker 3: for sure.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Stucky, No, that's that has to be my favorite favorite moment.
- 19:18Speaker 4: I had a lot of like late minute, late game,
- 19:23Speaker 4: fourth quarter luck this year, and that was one that
- 19:26Speaker 4: was extremely lucky. But two Broncos games also the week
- 19:32Speaker 4: one when Sean Payton decided to throw a bomb on
- 19:40Speaker 4: fourth down up eight over the Titans. Always got to
- 19:44Speaker 4: remember a rare Titans that win. But they could have
- 19:47Speaker 4: kicked like a fifty yard field goal. I think it
- 19:50Speaker 4: was like maybe fifty three to fifty four, but I
- 19:52Speaker 4: mean it's in altitude, it's in Denver, and they called
- 19:55Speaker 4: a time out, they're up eight I think it was
- 19:57Speaker 4: twenty to twelve, and and decided to go for it
- 20:01Speaker 4: and they just threw a bomb which definitely made my
- 20:06Speaker 4: stomach drop for a second, but it was incomplete and
- 20:09Speaker 4: the Titans covered plus eight and a half. So but yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 4: that the delay of game that was, and then Carol
- 20:18Speaker 4: deciding to kick it. That was. That was the highlight
- 20:21Speaker 4: of the season.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Got to be Carrol.
- 20:24Speaker 1: The Titans covering spreads in general are peak memories for
- 20:28Speaker 1: me because I didn't think we'd see it again, and
- 20:31Speaker 1: they bounced back in a strong way. Still just seven
- 20:33Speaker 1: and nine ats, but they did fire their coach in
- 20:35Speaker 1: the middle of the season. What about the worst beats
- 20:39Speaker 1: of the year, Stucky, I know for I think it's
- 20:45Speaker 1: the same for all of us, but I remember Stucky
- 20:48Speaker 1: being in ruins after the Rams had their field goal
- 20:53Speaker 1: blocked by Philadelphia, a Philly team that when you look back,
- 20:57Speaker 1: they had no business covering against the Rams. The Room
- 21:00Speaker 1: are such a better team this year, but I think
- 21:03Speaker 1: that that one probably rises to the top of the list.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And he pushed back from the crew.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a I mean, that was one of my
- 21:09Speaker 4: biggest bets of the year. Rams plus three and a
- 21:11Speaker 4: half up twenty six to seven, dominating the whole game.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Whatever still should have covered after melting down late, missed
- 21:23Speaker 4: a field goal, and then get a field goal blocked
- 21:25Speaker 4: and have it returned, which never happens the NFL. The
- 21:27Speaker 4: return for no reason and by a defensive lineman who
- 21:32Speaker 4: ran like one hundred miles per hour. That made me sick.
- 21:37Speaker 4: That was one of the worst beats I've ever suffered
- 21:39Speaker 4: in sports betting. And then you look back and like
- 21:42Speaker 4: the Rams were catching over a field goal in Philly,
- 21:45Speaker 4: like it was clearly the right side that day and
- 21:48Speaker 4: the right bet. One of the ones that tilts me
- 21:51Speaker 4: a lot looking back at the season was I bet
- 21:57Speaker 4: the Seahawks minus two and a half at home against
- 22:00Speaker 4: the Bucks and it closed three and a half. I
- 22:06Speaker 4: have two and a half across a key. The Bucks
- 22:09Speaker 4: finished as the worst against the spread team in the NFL.
- 22:13Speaker 2: The Seahawks number one and then win the Super Bowl.
- 22:17Speaker 4: And won the Super Bowl and they lose to the
- 22:20Speaker 4: Bucks at home thirty eight to thirty five. Darnold turned
- 22:24Speaker 4: it over late, throwing off a helmet like Seahawks minus
- 22:29Speaker 4: two and a half at home against the Bucks and
- 22:31Speaker 4: couldn't cover.
- 22:33Speaker 3: My nomination for bad beat of the year is Kraviats
- 22:38Speaker 3: for his parents finding his Pamela Anderson out.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I thought that was the one time thing I have
- 22:48Speaker 2: to relive this again.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Oh, I'm never gonna let this gout, all right, So winner,
- 22:54Speaker 3: we're going.
- 22:55Speaker 5: We're going with the Rams. I don't know the Fama.
- 22:59Speaker 4: And that's pretty good rams by by far.
- 23:05Speaker 2: That was awful. That was awful. That was Yeah, that
- 23:08Speaker 2: was bad.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I had I had the Lions plus two and a
- 23:13Speaker 1: half against Green Bay and that got in week one
- 23:16Speaker 1: and that was over before it started. But a bad
- 23:19Speaker 1: beat is always worse when it is I mean, the
- 23:21Speaker 1: clear definition of it is when you think you're home
- 23:24Speaker 1: with a win and then it goes the other way
- 23:26Speaker 1: because of some random circumstance.
- 23:28Speaker 6: So I mean Donald's rushing yards in the Super Bowl,
- 23:30Speaker 6: it's pretty terrible.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Rus What happened with what happened with Donald specific and
- 23:37Speaker 2: he had.
- 23:37Speaker 6: It on that long rush and then he got caught
- 23:40Speaker 6: in the backfield by was it Kenneth Walker, I believe
- 23:44Speaker 6: or something like that, but I'm I forget like who.
- 23:47Speaker 6: He just got caught in the backfield and it looked
- 23:49Speaker 6: like he didn't even really want to do that when
- 23:51Speaker 6: he in terms of like going down, but that basically, uh,
- 23:55Speaker 6: he had it was five and a half and he
- 23:57Speaker 6: ended on five. So that was very It was almost
- 24:01Speaker 6: worse than I don't know, you could look at it
- 24:03Speaker 6: a bunch of different ways, the Patrick Mahomes one in
- 24:04Speaker 6: the Super Bowl because he's like kneeling it to try
- 24:07Speaker 6: to waste time. But this one looked almost accidental. So
- 24:11Speaker 6: that's definitely one of the lists. The other one and
- 24:13Speaker 6: someone has to remind me the Windy City Miracle when
- 24:16Speaker 6: Chicago Beach Green Bay, I believe they weren't covering and
- 24:19Speaker 6: then they were on that play, So that one's pretty bad,
- 24:23Speaker 6: I think if I had that right.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Nickname of the Year is not on here, but it's
- 24:28Speaker 3: gotta be the Caleb Williams new nickname for the Great
- 24:33Speaker 3: One but spelled like cheese grater, like g r at
- 24:36Speaker 3: e one that is by far nickname of the year.
- 24:41Speaker 6: People keep calling him the iceman.
- 24:43Speaker 5: No, I like the great one I underrated.
- 24:47Speaker 4: A bad beat was Jackson the Jags uh twenty nine
- 24:56Speaker 4: to ten in the fourth quarter.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Against against the tech Sins James.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Mills who led them all the way back and.
- 25:04Speaker 2: What was the do you have the final score of
- 25:06Speaker 2: that game in front of you?
- 25:07Speaker 4: Thirty six nine? There was a touchdown on the final
- 25:10Speaker 4: play of the game on like a stripsack or a
- 25:12Speaker 4: pick six. I forget.
- 25:14Speaker 5: That was one of the most angry moments.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Of my life. So yeah, that one was.
- 25:21Speaker 1: That was pretty I remember that one vividly because that
- 25:24Speaker 1: was when you said never tease through zero, which I
- 25:28Speaker 1: typically adhere to that, but I was so confident that
- 25:31Speaker 1: the Jags would would keep this game close or win
- 25:34Speaker 1: and I got them at plus five and a half.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Oh that was like I'm in the fourth quarner, like
- 25:42Speaker 1: I can't wait to stick it to Stucky.
- 25:44Speaker 4: And then.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Up in flames that one. Yeah, thanks for the reminder
- 25:49Speaker 1: on that one, but a lesson learned. You either win
- 25:52Speaker 1: or you learn in sports betting. Let's let's go to
- 25:54Speaker 1: drama Queen of the Year Jalen Carter got us started
- 26:00Speaker 1: first game of the season, he spit on Dak Prescott.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Trey Hendrickson ran to Florida because of hurt feelings, and
- 26:07Speaker 1: somebody wrote Josina Anderson and here I'm gonna need an
- 26:10Speaker 1: explanation on this.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I feel out of the loop as far as that goes.
- 26:13Speaker 3: But Josina Anderson with all the Shador Sanders stuff, oh yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 2: She went a little wild. I think, I mean, did
- 26:22Speaker 2: he did make the bulls, He got that going for him.
- 26:25Speaker 1: But I think Shador Sanders backers in general could be
- 26:28Speaker 1: in the drama Queen of the Year category. Mel Kiper
- 26:32Speaker 1: was going in on this guy needs to be the
- 26:34Speaker 1: number one pick in the draft before that's transpired.
- 26:38Speaker 2: But I think it's the I think it's the guy
- 26:39Speaker 2: that got it started.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I don't think anything more dramatic happened on the field
- 26:44Speaker 1: than Spitgate. It was a big problem in football. I
- 26:48Speaker 1: remember it happened in college the week prior or the
- 26:51Speaker 1: week after. It was like we had like a sequence
- 26:54Speaker 1: if they say things happen in threes where dudes were
- 26:56Speaker 1: just getting spit on, and the Jalen Carter may have
- 26:59Speaker 1: started that.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I know, I'm a neated Trey Hendrickson because I don't
- 27:04Speaker 3: know if you, I know you guys don't follow him
- 27:05Speaker 3: on Instagram.
- 27:06Speaker 5: But when he like ran away during was it like Ota?
- 27:09Speaker 6: What was it?
- 27:10Speaker 3: Otia's something that he like, I know he was like
- 27:12Speaker 3: negotiating his contractor like wanted a new contract. I just
- 27:15Speaker 3: don't remember what the specific week he did it it was,
- 27:19Speaker 3: but he posted a story on Instagram of him like
- 27:23Speaker 3: in Florida looking out the window, and I was like,
- 27:26Speaker 3: this just needs like a Michelle Brand track over it.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And this is like the most dramatic thing I've ever
- 27:31Speaker 3: seen in my life.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I mean, it's the Bengals aren't cheap, so I think
- 27:35Speaker 1: he might have actually had some ground to stand on there.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I stand with Trey. My vote is for Jalen Carter Stucky.
- 27:42Speaker 2: What about you.
- 27:42Speaker 5: I can accept Jalen, by the way, just for I totally.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I just going through bad beats, I know it.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys mentioned Shador and pro Bowl. I I
- 27:56Speaker 4: know I did's pro I know I didn't know what
- 27:59Speaker 4: happened in the probo. I didn't you highlight I didn't
- 28:01Speaker 4: want to talk about it. I didn't see a tweet
- 28:02Speaker 4: about it.
- 28:02Speaker 5: I didn't it was on a Tuesday night.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you didn't miss that.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Now there was one at a record low one million
- 28:09Speaker 4: people watched it on.
- 28:11Speaker 3: The Puppy Ball got more viewers than the Pro Bowl.
- 28:14Speaker 5: Can we talk about that?
- 28:15Speaker 4: I put the puppy ball on the ball on Sunday
- 28:18Speaker 4: trying to pass the time. When to get to this?
- 28:20Speaker 3: The bad beat of the year is Tiegan the like
- 28:23Speaker 3: puppy with the wheelchair on from the puppy Ball died.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Damn.
- 28:29Speaker 4: That's thanks.
- 28:30Speaker 5: The bad beat of the year.
- 28:31Speaker 4: The drama. I'm gonna drama Queen of the heere has
- 28:33Speaker 4: to be uh, Nick Sirianni all of his antics. Uh
- 28:39Speaker 4: you know, I think.
- 28:41Speaker 2: There yelling J.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Brown is a good one.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He was screaming at A J. Brown and in the
- 28:48Speaker 4: in the game against the forty nine ers and then
- 28:49Speaker 4: he never caught another ball. He's saying, no one's talking screaming,
- 28:53Speaker 4: no one's talking about us. Now after they beat the Bills,
- 28:57Speaker 4: I'm gonna pivot to A J.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Brown.
- 28:59Speaker 6: That's my that's my reading the book on the sideline too,
- 29:02Speaker 6: Like that's drama queen all over it.
- 29:03Speaker 5: That is drama.
- 29:07Speaker 4: The entire Eagles team really, it was just a drama filled.
- 29:13Speaker 6: I still feel like it's Miles Garrett, but he broke
- 29:15Speaker 6: the sack record, so I guess we can give let
- 29:18Speaker 6: him off the hook a little bit.
- 29:20Speaker 5: You mean Chloe Kim's boyfriend.
- 29:22Speaker 6: There you go.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I interviewed the author of that book after after that
- 29:28Speaker 1: went down, and uh, boy was he happy. A. J.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Brown was reaching another nomination for the Bengals, who were
- 29:40Speaker 4: complaining that they stopped the game for Garrett, like, yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 4: it is a team that quit the week before against
- 29:47Speaker 4: the Ravens and stopped playing, like, give me a break.
- 29:52Speaker 4: When that entire game they looked completely disinterested. So, uh, I.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Think the I think we get it to the Eagles.
- 30:01Speaker 1: We had Jalen Carter, we had AJ Brown, we had
- 30:04Speaker 1: Nick Sirianni.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So we'll just give it to that. It'll be a
- 30:07Speaker 2: team award. We'll give it to how.
- 30:09Speaker 4: They went from McDaniel to Patulo and slow are they
- 30:12Speaker 4: tanking for twenty twenty seven? I mean twenty twenty seven,
- 30:16Speaker 4: They're gonna have a ton of cap space if they want,
- 30:18Speaker 4: they could. Really they need to figure out a draft.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But we'll see how long they drag this to a
- 30:24Speaker 1: thing out and then they uh, and then they could
- 30:25Speaker 1: qualify for Drama Queen of the Year. But if they
- 30:28Speaker 1: just cut ties, cut bait, then I'll let them off
- 30:31Speaker 1: the hook as far as the drama addiction goes.
- 30:34Speaker 2: The Wag of the Year the I think we have a.
- 30:39Speaker 1: List of nominees here. You've got Cardi b with Stefan Diggs.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers has his fake wife Kelly Stafford always in
- 30:50Speaker 1: the news, the refs and their relationship with Mahomes. But
- 30:57Speaker 1: I think the answer is much more wholesome than this.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Guys, don't say Anne Michael may it is.
- 31:03Speaker 2: She became a star all on her own.
- 31:06Speaker 6: Nobody knew she was during the season. Now no one
- 31:09Speaker 6: doesn't like That's That's gotta be something.
- 31:12Speaker 5: It's Aaron Rodgers AI wife final answer and stuck. He
- 31:17Speaker 5: wants your vote, Evan wants your vote. This is a democracy.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I'm going Sirian as the head coach of the Eagles,
- 31:25Speaker 4: representing all of the drama. He's responsible for all like you.
- 31:29Speaker 5: This is for the wag, Stuck, Oh, this is.
- 31:32Speaker 4: For the wag.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:37Speaker 3: So Cardi b Aaron Rodgers AI wife Kelly Stafford for
- 31:41Speaker 3: saying that she hooked up with uh Stafford's roommate or
- 31:45Speaker 3: something in college make him jealous, I think so. And
- 31:49Speaker 3: then the refs who were obviously married to Patrick Mahomes.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Those are your options.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Uh, I'm trying to think of I'm missing anyone.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Let I'll go or you can vote for an Michael May.
- 32:00Speaker 2: That's my vote.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll go in Michael May. Sorry.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Yeah, Collinsworth for mentioning Mahomes in a game he wasn't
- 32:09Speaker 6: even playing.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, God, Collinsworth, that is a love affair, all right,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and Michael May bringing home.
- 32:16Speaker 4: The hard about Haley Steinfeld.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Oh what a nominee.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And she had that movie that everybody liked, didn't it
- 32:23Speaker 1: win Oscars?
- 32:24Speaker 2: What's that called Kendra Sinners?
- 32:26Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Theners, Well, that's why they had the Josh Allen meme
- 32:31Speaker 6: of when he was not looking at the screen and
- 32:33Speaker 6: they're like, oh, that's him watching Sinners. That's a great meme.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I have not seen it, but I heard it gets
- 32:39Speaker 1: a little wild. All right, Well, solid nominees. Scandal of
- 32:44Speaker 1: the year, we explain these, Kendra.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Okay, so your nominees are Stefan Diggs with his pink
- 32:53Speaker 3: bag of drugs on the boat at the beginning of
- 32:55Speaker 3: the year. Haley Khalil, who is the ex wife of
- 32:59Speaker 3: Matt Khaley, who's a I don't know if he's still
- 33:01Speaker 3: in the NFL, but former NFL player stating on a
- 33:04Speaker 3: podcast that the reason that they got divorced was because
- 33:07Speaker 3: his dick was too big.
- 33:09Speaker 5: She said that it was two soda.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Cans stacked on top of each other, and he sued
- 33:13Speaker 3: her or DK metcalf versus that Lions fan.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I put a lot of I put a lot of
- 33:20Speaker 1: thought into this. I forgot about the Stefan Diggs pink bag.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Stephan Diggs was full of scandal all year and then
- 33:32Speaker 1: had the scandal at the end of the year too.
- 33:34Speaker 2: And I think he's split with isn't he not with
- 33:37Speaker 2: grdi b anymore?
- 33:38Speaker 5: I think, yeah, him and Cardi broke up after this. Yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 5: Stephan Diggs.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Things things got really really.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Uh my baby mamas this year, him and Cardi breaking up,
- 33:47Speaker 3: him going to court, the pink bag of drugs.
- 33:51Speaker 2: He's got to.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Take home an award the answers James Pierce after Gravits
- 33:55Speaker 4: went all in on the Falcons.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I sent him into a violent spree.
- 34:03Speaker 4: I guess.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I wonder if that that number has changed. I haven't
- 34:07Speaker 1: checked back in on that. All right, I'm gonna go
- 34:11Speaker 1: with Diggs. Kendra, you break the tie. We have James Pierce,
- 34:14Speaker 1: Stefan Diggs, and you submit the final vote.
- 34:20Speaker 5: I have a question for the boys of this chat.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Would you sue your ex wife if she came out
- 34:25Speaker 3: and said that your dick was too big?
- 34:28Speaker 2: Definitely not? Am I get.
- 34:33Speaker 6: No pun intended?
- 34:37Speaker 4: I think I got.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Just for like the sheer amount of scandal that he
- 34:43Speaker 3: had our station. One of our producers on Felger and
- 34:47Speaker 3: Maz made a remix of Pink Pony Club to Pink
- 34:52Speaker 3: Bag of Drugs for Stephan and it is the best.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Song I've ever heard. So I'm gonna go with Diggs.
- 34:57Speaker 6: A crazy year. I mean, he's gay right now, like
- 35:00Speaker 6: he's He's got a lot going on.
- 35:02Speaker 2: All right, let's uh.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Correct.
- 35:07Speaker 6: What about the power station? Isn't the Niners power station?
- 35:10Speaker 6: Isn't that? Also like the scandal the year, I don't.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Know, we had a decision made.
- 35:17Speaker 1: We had a decision made, and then Evan's coming off
- 35:19Speaker 1: the top rope with these great.
- 35:20Speaker 6: Nominees, it's time to mix in the water.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Let's mix in the water because we have our drunkest
- 35:27Speaker 1: play of the season, Josh Allen's fumble in the playoffs,
- 35:32Speaker 1: you have Caleb Johnson and his uh kickoff return or
- 35:37Speaker 1: lack thereof in Week two, the debacle at the end
- 35:40Speaker 1: of the Titans Cardinals game, Young Way coup field goal
- 35:43Speaker 1: attempt where you just kicked the grass or Jalen Hurt
- 35:46Speaker 1: twos two turnovers in one play.
- 35:50Speaker 2: That was Evan. I believe you shared the stat after
- 35:52Speaker 2: the fact.
- 35:53Speaker 1: That's the first time that's ever happened in NFL history,
- 35:58Speaker 1: So that I think any time you make history, I
- 36:00Speaker 1: think you deserve the hardwood.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Here good one.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I am between Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts because the
- 36:06Speaker 3: Josh Allen thing, I feel like is worse because it
- 36:09Speaker 3: was in the postseason and you could see how the
- 36:11Speaker 3: lead up to the Jalen Hurts scenario happened.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Josh Allen just it was a dumb, dummy, dumb, dumb
- 36:18Speaker 5: dumb play.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Like there was nowhere, there was nobody even near him,
- 36:23Speaker 3: Whereas like the Jalen Hurts thing, like some weird things
- 36:25Speaker 3: had to go into that, Whereas Josh Allen, like that
- 36:27Speaker 3: was all on him, stuck.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna I gotta go Josh Allen just because
- 36:32Speaker 4: of the stage. Sadly he's done like some crazy things
- 36:35Speaker 4: and where it doesn't seem like he's mixed in the
- 36:38Speaker 4: water hasn't cost in the past. And I hate to
- 36:40Speaker 4: give him too much hip because he's been amazing in
- 36:42Speaker 4: the playoffs his entire career, but he deserves some flak
- 36:47Speaker 4: for that game. He wasn't his best and it was
- 36:50Speaker 4: a shame because I think, if I mean everything changes,
- 36:54Speaker 4: the Bills win that game. I think they beat the
- 36:58Speaker 4: Pats and we get a better suit Bowl. And but
- 37:03Speaker 4: he deserves he deserves some plack. Even though he's been amazing,
- 37:05Speaker 4: the playoffs probably took a little bit too much, but
- 37:08Speaker 4: part of that has to go on him.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Josh Allen receives the trophy.
- 37:13Speaker 4: And although my nominee, what isn't on there is is
- 37:17Speaker 4: which changes changed who neede the playoffs? And it could
- 37:21Speaker 4: have changed also the AFC playoffs because it was so
- 37:23Speaker 4: wide open. Is John Harball for taking a knee in
- 37:28Speaker 4: Week eighteen in the final regular season game instead of
- 37:30Speaker 4: trying to gain any yards with your offense? Uh, and
- 37:34Speaker 4: then put it on Tyler Loop in the hardest stadium
- 37:39Speaker 4: in the NFL to kick at cost some the division, and
- 37:44Speaker 4: uh cost them a chance to make a run in
- 37:48Speaker 4: the playoffs, and instead we got Steelers Texans, and then
- 37:50Speaker 4: because of that we got Texans Patriots, and then because
- 37:52Speaker 4: of that we got Patriots Bronco.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I mean, that's more like a drunk decision, though not
- 37:56Speaker 1: that that's not really like a play.
- 37:58Speaker 6: Well, the drunkest decision was the positivity rabbit.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Or for the outcome of the NFC South.
- 38:05Speaker 1: With the Falcons or the NFC South period.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Uh, the Kyle Pitts drunk.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Play, he's probably Max Brosner against the Seahawks.
- 38:15Speaker 5: No, why did you have to bring this up? I
- 38:20Speaker 5: mean I thought about this too, and I was like,
- 38:22Speaker 5: I'm not going to do this.
- 38:25Speaker 4: That was our Will Lewis Player of the Year.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Al r, I p will the Kyle Pitts Award most
- 38:33Speaker 1: disappointing player of the season.
- 38:37Speaker 5: Wait to who's winning our drunkest play of the season.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Oh, I think we gave it to Josh Allen. We
- 38:41Speaker 1: just kept talking afterwards. I think Josh Allen.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Okay, Josh Allen, Yeah, because.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Of the stage. I like that argument.
- 38:47Speaker 1: The most disappointing player of the season. Let's go young player.
- 38:51Speaker 1: We'll keep the old guys out of it. We have
- 38:55Speaker 1: some nominees. JJ McCarthy, Ashton Gent Brian Thomas Junior had
- 39:00Speaker 1: a real capes case of the drop sis in the
- 39:02Speaker 1: first half of the season. Lad McConkie, who Kendra had
- 39:06Speaker 1: him bet jail for most of the year. I don't
- 39:09Speaker 1: think the best nominee is even on this list. Jade
- 39:12Speaker 1: and Daniels and people were lofting into the top five
- 39:15Speaker 1: of a quarterback discussion going into last season. He played
- 39:20Speaker 1: what six games, and he wasn't even that good when
- 39:22Speaker 1: he played.
- 39:23Speaker 2: To me, it's Jade and Daniels.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Any opposition on that, Skucky's with it.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I was going to say btj just because of personal reasons,
- 39:33Speaker 3: so I'm biased. He ruined my life this year, him
- 39:38Speaker 3: and Ladd mcconkee both.
- 39:40Speaker 1: You might not have won MVP for which I did
- 39:42Speaker 1: bet on you for Jayden Daniels, but it did win
- 39:45Speaker 1: the Kyle Pitts Awards, so congratulations. Ironically enough, Kyle Pitts
- 39:50Speaker 1: wouldn't even be on this list for the first time
- 39:52Speaker 1: in his career, so shout out the Pitts. How about
- 39:54Speaker 1: the Best Bad Team Award? We're just going to give
- 39:57Speaker 1: that to the NFC South, and let's wrap with our
- 40:00Speaker 1: twenty five to Life Award, the team that should have
- 40:04Speaker 1: remained in bet jail all season long.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Four strong nominees. Feel free to throw in your own.
- 40:11Speaker 1: The Lions, who had been cover machines for the last
- 40:14Speaker 1: couple of years, fell off a cliff in that regard,
- 40:16Speaker 1: didn't make the playoffs, they didn't have the they lose
- 40:20Speaker 1: one cover the next that's that trend started to flop.
- 40:23Speaker 1: The Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Jets, or debacle
- 40:28Speaker 1: this year the Titans, although the Titans did start to
- 40:31Speaker 1: cover some numbers when they fired their coach. So, Kendra,
- 40:34Speaker 1: who do you wish you would have kept in bet
- 40:39Speaker 1: jail all season long?
- 40:41Speaker 3: Oh?
- 40:42Speaker 5: The Jets one hundred percent.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I had there over I think win total at the
- 40:47Speaker 3: beginning of the year, and like kept betting on them
- 40:48Speaker 3: to get an interception and just stupid shit. The Titans
- 40:52Speaker 3: got better, are getting better if the Chiefs just had
- 40:55Speaker 3: a weird year. The Lions lost both of their coordinators,
- 40:58Speaker 3: so I can find excuses for them, and I get
- 41:00Speaker 3: the Jets, like you can point to having like a
- 41:02Speaker 3: struggle at quarterback and a new coach and whatever.
- 41:04Speaker 5: But it's got to be the Jets.
- 41:05Speaker 3: For me, like the fact that you didn't get like
- 41:07Speaker 3: the interception thing, just like incompetency, start to finish, it's
- 41:11Speaker 3: got to be the Jets. I can come up with
- 41:13Speaker 3: excuses for everybody bought them.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it's got to be the Jets. They I mean
- 41:19Speaker 4: their last eight games, there's seven losses whereby thirteen, thirteen,
- 41:26Speaker 4: twenty four, twenty eight, twenty three, thirty two and twenty seven.
- 41:35Speaker 4: I mean, I think Evan had a stab and is
- 41:38Speaker 4: probably they were the first team in since the merger
- 41:42Speaker 4: to lose five straight games by twenty three plus so
- 41:45Speaker 4: my daya. By the way, they only win over their
- 41:48Speaker 4: final eight games, it was against the Falcons, and which
- 41:52Speaker 4: ended up costing the Falcons the division and me a
- 41:55Speaker 4: bet on the Falcons to win the division because of
- 41:58Speaker 4: that's how bad the Falcons. The drunk Award you go
- 42:01Speaker 4: to the Falcons special teams. Special teams cost in that
- 42:03Speaker 4: game too. But that was their only win over their
- 42:06Speaker 4: final eight games.
- 42:08Speaker 1: And the Jets started so well ats in that game
- 42:11Speaker 1: against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it felt like they might
- 42:14Speaker 1: have found something in justin fields that fell apart so
- 42:18Speaker 1: fast Evan, I saw you shaking your head. Are you
- 42:20Speaker 1: in disagreement of the Jets nominee?
- 42:23Speaker 6: I'm in disagreement of all of these. None of this
- 42:25Speaker 6: is right. The only answer for bet chail for a
- 42:28Speaker 6: single team is the Bucks. The Bucks last covered a
- 42:31Speaker 6: game in October.
- 42:33Speaker 5: That's a good answer.
- 42:35Speaker 6: They lost nine in a row against the spread to
- 42:37Speaker 6: end the season, and people kept betting them. They were
- 42:39Speaker 6: a favorite in their last six games, and they didn't
- 42:44Speaker 6: cover a single one nine straight. It's the busy.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Usually could have been went like one in of course.
- 42:49Speaker 4: I had them against the Seahawks. I faded them against
- 42:52Speaker 4: the Seahawks. I faded them against the Texans. I faded
- 42:54Speaker 4: them against the Falcons, and they won the final mint
- 42:56Speaker 4: and all of them they lost those games. They usually
- 42:59Speaker 4: could have went like tune fifteen against the spread.
- 43:02Speaker 6: October twenty sixth, their last cover.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think Evan nailed it. As the
- 43:09Speaker 1: judge presiding over this session, we.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Should just do these as the Evan Abrams Awards every
- 43:14Speaker 3: year in the gabbl.
- 43:15Speaker 6: Sorry, I'm emotional.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Is that because we buried your New York Yes.
- 43:21Speaker 5: Jo McQueen of the Year.
- 43:22Speaker 6: Evan Abrams Aaron Glenn's dance. I mean, that's like the
- 43:26Speaker 6: moment of the season. It's like the best thing to happen.
- 43:28Speaker 2: To them all year. That was very a memorable.
- 43:30Speaker 4: How about your bet, off the top of your head,
- 43:32Speaker 4: the best bet and the worst bet you made all year?
- 43:37Speaker 4: Worst bet? I mean, the best bet I made was
- 43:39Speaker 4: probably on's it come to mind? The Browns against the
- 43:45Speaker 4: Dolphins at home in the weather. That was You never
- 43:49Speaker 4: get a sweat free Browns win as a favorite, so
- 43:53Speaker 4: that was that was fun. My worst one of my
- 43:57Speaker 4: worst bets and many was Jake Browning against the Broncos
- 44:06Speaker 4: on a Sunday or Monday night, catching a big number
- 44:11Speaker 4: that I thought was too big against the and that
- 44:13Speaker 4: game was a disaster. That was one of the worst.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Could do you even remember that game? If people don't,
- 44:20Speaker 4: If people didn't have money on that game, they might
- 44:21Speaker 4: not even remember it because it was so bad. It
- 44:25Speaker 4: was twenty eight to three Broncos and the total yards
- 44:29Speaker 4: in that game were five twelve to one fifty nine.
- 44:32Speaker 4: That was one of the worst bets I ever placed.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I think my best bets were my Panthers bets or
- 44:42Speaker 3: the Patriots Raiders game to open the season. My worst
- 44:47Speaker 3: bets were everything else to do with the Patriots and
- 44:49Speaker 3: the super Bowl.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah, the super Bowl is rough. The super Bowl is
- 44:54Speaker 2: rough for all of us, so we're going to pretend
- 44:56Speaker 2: like that didn't happen.
- 44:57Speaker 5: The only thing that made my super Bowl better was
- 45:01Speaker 5: the boobs at Hooters in the shrimp. The shrimp, you guys,
- 45:06Speaker 5: I hate to say it.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Boston, there you go.
- 45:10Speaker 5: And I could eat.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Them because I didn't feel guilty eating them in front
- 45:13Speaker 3: of my shrimp.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I anything Panthers related.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I had the Panthers money line against the Rams in
- 45:21Speaker 1: the regular season.
- 45:23Speaker 2: That was nice.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Chargers plus five and a half against the Chiefs stuck
- 45:28Speaker 1: and I went to war on that one.
- 45:29Speaker 2: That was a nice win.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Worst one, though, was also Chiefs related, was backing Kansas City.
- 45:36Speaker 1: We were on our Sunday night show. I'd had a
- 45:39Speaker 1: decent day. I was just just over the line in
- 45:43Speaker 1: terms of profitability, and I ruined it by chasing steam
- 45:47Speaker 1: betting the Chiefs against the Texans, and then the Chiefs
- 45:51Speaker 1: scored ten points on Sunday Night Football and lost to Houston.
- 45:56Speaker 2: That was one that I That one still sticks with me.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Look, I'm the worst part about this season for me,
- 46:04Speaker 4: is the Bucks like that? Evan just Knight. I'm looking
- 46:06Speaker 4: back at these bets I made. Week one, I had
- 46:08Speaker 4: the Falcons plus two and a half at home against
- 46:12Speaker 4: the Bucks. I think they closed at one point favorite
- 46:19Speaker 4: but lost in the final minute. That was I would
- 46:23Speaker 4: make up bet a million times there. The Falcons ended
- 46:25Speaker 4: up being a better team. Then the next week I
- 46:28Speaker 4: had the Texans minus two at home against the Bucks.
- 46:32Speaker 4: That you're looking back, that was a very good vet
- 46:35Speaker 4: lost in the final minute. Uh. And then week three
- 46:40Speaker 4: had this is all before the Seahawks, who I had
- 46:45Speaker 4: minus two and a half as well against the Bucks.
- 46:48Speaker 4: So they had the Bucks. I mean I would the
- 46:52Speaker 4: one bet I won. I had the Jets against the
- 46:53Speaker 4: Bucks early in the season and they had like a
- 46:57Speaker 4: block kick although they with Tyron Taylor Man. Some of
- 47:00Speaker 4: those bets I wish I would make again, but just
- 47:03Speaker 4: got unlucky. But yeah, by far. The Jake browning was
- 47:08Speaker 4: hi Jake brown against the Lions too, it was should
- 47:11Speaker 4: not have went there.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Any any any lessons learned on the year before.
- 47:16Speaker 3: We yes, yes, yes, chill the fuck out on Thanksgiving,
- 47:21Speaker 3: Christmas and the Super Bowl.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I think those are wise words. I'm not going to
- 47:27Speaker 1: stay away from them completely.
- 47:28Speaker 5: But I fucking the French toast.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I think she's fucking the French toast.
- 47:32Speaker 1: I think the mistake with those is that we spend
- 47:35Speaker 1: so much time analyzing them, we end up over betting
- 47:38Speaker 1: those windows. It's not betting them, it's betting them differently
- 47:42Speaker 1: than you would week four.
- 47:44Speaker 2: I think that's the issue.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Great, and I think also take more risks with your
- 47:50Speaker 3: futures because I think it's like thirty percent of playoff
- 47:54Speaker 3: teams every single year different than the year prior.
- 47:56Speaker 5: So take a couple of risks with your futures for
- 47:59Speaker 5: win time.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Unders of your friend.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Yeah right when winning a check and dinner, go.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Right to wisdom from the ever Neighbrams Awards. Thank you.
