- 0:24I'm so glad you could join us today.
- 0:26Let's say our motto. Repeat after me.
- 0:29I will tell my friends. I will.
- 0:31Tell my friends. So they can know God, so.
- 0:34They can know God. Here's something I know about
- 0:37God. He made the world with his
- 0:40words. That doesn't.
- 0:42I hate those kids, I wish I could poop on every one of them.
- 0:48Whoa, Polly, that's not a nice thing to say.
- 0:52Well, it's true. All kids are mean.
- 0:56I don't like any of them. Polly, not all kids are mean.
- 1:01Now I know there are some mean kids, but these kids here are
- 1:05nice. I'm not talking about these
- 1:07kids, it's the rest of the kids in the world.
- 1:11Okay, Polly, what happened? We parrots like to repeat what
- 1:15people say. Yeah, that's what parrots
- 1:18usually do. I like to go to the pet store
- 1:20and say Polly wanna Cracker. Those are the simple minded
- 1:24parrots. I'm way beyond that.
- 1:28Yeah, I'm sorry. These kids were trying to get me
- 1:32to say bad words but I wouldn't do it so they shot me with spit
- 1:38wads. Oh, I'm really sorry for that,
- 1:41Polly, but I'm proud of you for not repeating those bad words.
- 1:45You know our words are very important.
- 1:47They are. Yes, our words have power.
- 1:51The Bible says your words bring death or life.
- 1:54Did you know that God used words to make the world we live in?
- 1:58That's right, And God's Word, the Bible, is full of power too.
- 2:04It is Paulie. That's why God wants us to speak
- 2:07his word. His word is full of life.
- 2:10When I have a bad day like you've been having, I just stop
- 2:14and say thank you God that you're on my side.
- 2:17You never leave me. That's what I need to do Thanks.
- 2:22God is on my side. He never leaves me.
- 2:27Hey kids, did you know that there are books about Chubby and
- 2:31Bree? They're available on Amazon in
- 2:34ebook and paperback formats. In a tree hanging down from
- 2:48above, a beehive busily buzzing God's Love, Papa Bee, Mama Bee,
- 2:54Chubby and Bree buzzing God's way.
- 2:58Take a look and you'll see the beehive swayed back and forth
- 3:06from the wind. When there is a storm, bees know
- 3:10to stay in. Papa and Mama and Chubby were
- 3:13home, but Bree was out in the storm all alone.
- 3:17Chubby was worried. Papa, what should we do?
- 3:21Papa was quiet a moment or two. Mama buzzed softly.
- 3:25We'll just speak God's word. Like a brave bee, Chubby did
- 3:30what he heard. God, you are with us.
- 3:33Yes, you never leave and you are with Bree.
- 3:36That's what we believe. Though she's out in the storm,
- 3:40she's not alone. Wherever she is, please help her
- 3:43get home. Amen.
- 3:46Said Papa. I'm proud of you, son.
- 3:49A courageous bee declares God's will be done.
- 3:53God's will is good because His Word tells us so.
- 3:56We believe it and speak it so faith can grow.
- 4:00A minute ago I was too scared to speak.
- 4:04Your words helped me, son. My faith's no longer weak.
- 4:08Papa, Mama and Chubby kept praying.
- 4:11God's promises were all they were saying.
- 4:16Off in the distance, they barely could see in the rain, something
- 4:21flying, a bumblee bee. Bree buzzed and soggy, her eyes
- 4:26full of tears. Mama beheld her amidst all the
- 4:29cheers. You're home now, dear Bree.
- 4:33Mama B gently said as she laid Bree down on her bumblebee bed.
- 4:39It was awful. Said Bree.
- 4:41She tried to explain. I started crying when it started
- 4:45to rain. I thought the storm would keep
- 4:48me from flying. I might not get home.
- 4:51So I started crying with Thunder and lighting and rain all
- 4:55around. A couple of times it knocked me
- 4:58to the ground and all I could think was I'm going to die.
- 5:03I could drown in a puddle that made me cry.
- 5:07All of a sudden my bee wings were flapping.
- 5:10The falling ring is what my wings were slapping.
- 5:14It seemed there was something that carried me home like
- 5:17someone was praying I wasn't alone.
- 5:21They chubby. Said Papa.
- 5:23Our courageous bee. He was speaking God's Word
- 5:27better than me. And there buzzed Chubby, a tear
- 5:31in his eye. Angels.
- 5:33Mama buzzed. Must have helped you to fly.
- 5:37Next time you're scared and your heart's full of doubt, be
- 5:41courageous. Speak God's Word out your mouth.
- 5:46Bree hugged Chubby and said you're.
- 5:48The best? And chubby thought me as Bree
- 5:52laid down to rest. All I really did was believe in
- 5:56my heart. The hard stuff was God doing His
- 6:00part. I just do my best to do things
- 6:03God's way, speaking God's Word courageously every day.
- 6:09OK, Casey, tell me again how this toy boat works.
- 6:13Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was time for
- 6:16the clubhouse. It's OK.
- 6:17What was your question? I'm trying to understand how
- 6:20this toy boat works. First I put the boat in the
- 6:23water and I turn it on right? Yes.
- 6:26Then when I want the boat to turn, I push this button on the
- 6:29remote right. Yes.
- 6:31So how does the boat turn? There aren't any wheels on the
- 6:35boat to turn it. Boats don't have wheels.
- 6:38Stacy, see this little blade on the bottom of the boat?
- 6:41It's called a rudder. When you push the button on the
- 6:44remote, it moves this rudder and that's what makes the boat turn.
- 6:48That little thing turns the whole boat.
- 6:51Yes, the Bible says that our words are like this rudder.
- 6:54When they come out of our mouth, our words can change the
- 6:58direction of our life. When we say bad things out of
- 7:01our mouths, bad things happen. But when we say good things out
- 7:05of our mouth, good things happen.
- 7:07Then I'm only going to say good things out of my mouth.
- 7:10That's the smart thing to do. I wish everyone would think like
- 7:14you, Stacy. Me too.
- 7:18Did you know that our words have power?
- 7:21Show me your muscles and say power.
- 7:25That's right, our words have power.
- 7:27If we say something nice to people, those people they feel.
- 7:32Good. If we say something bad to
- 7:35people, those people feel bad. Jesus knew that our words have
- 7:41power, and he told his disciples, If you have a
- 7:45problem, when you pray, you can speak to that problem, and if
- 7:50you believe it, you can have it. Now let me explain what that
- 7:55means. If you're scared at night, you
- 7:59don't have to be afraid. If you believe that Jesus is
- 8:03with you, you can say fear go away in Jesus name.
- 8:08I'm not afraid for God is with me.
- 8:12That's part of our spiritual exercise.
- 8:14Another thing is if you're feeling sick, you can tell
- 8:17sickness, sickness go away in Jesus name.
- 8:22Say it with me, say sickness go away in Jesus name.
- 8:29Another part of our spiritual exercise is by Jesus stripes.
- 8:33I am healed. Do you remember that our words
- 8:38have power. In fact our memory verse today
- 8:41is Proverbs 1821. Your words bring death or life.
- 8:47Can you say that after me? OK, here we go.
- 8:50Say your words. Your words bring death.
- 8:54Bring death. Or life.
- 8:57Or. Life one more time.
- 8:58Say your words your. Words.
- 9:01Bring death. Bring death.
- 9:02Or life. Or life.
- 9:05Great job. Let's check in on our friend
- 9:09Farmer Dale. Farmer Dale?
- 9:12Oh, hey. There Casey, I've been pruning a
- 9:15tree so they'll grow more fruit. This here is one of the branches
- 9:20I cut off. That there branch I cut off
- 9:23because it's too low. I kept bumping my head on it.
- 9:27I'm sorry to hear that. Every time I hit my head on that
- 9:30tree, I wanted to call it a bad word, but I didn't.
- 9:34You know why? I'll tell you because my Mama
- 9:38always told me to say things that edify.
- 9:40That means say good words. Your Mama is a wise woman.
- 9:45Do you know? My Mama Casey, No, I just know
- 9:48she's wise because she taught you to say good things.
- 9:52I told that tree that it better be glad I'm not Jesus.
- 9:56Why is that? Because one day Jesus was hungry
- 9:59and he saw this fig tree. He couldn't find any figs, so he
- 10:02told that tree to die. The next day when they walked by
- 10:06that tree, they was laying there.
- 10:08The tree was already dead. That's what Peter said, because
- 10:12most dead trees don't fall over. They stay in the ground, but not
- 10:15this tree. So Peter says to Jesus, Jesus,
- 10:19the tree is already dead. You know what Jesus said?
- 10:23What he told them disciples that if they ever have a problem,
- 10:27speak to it, because your words got power.
- 10:30He told them when you pray, if you believe it and say it, you
- 10:33will have it. We're supposed to pray God's
- 10:36Word, Farmerdale. So instead of saying something
- 10:39bad to the tree, I just caught off the branch that kept hitting
- 10:42me in the head. That was a wise thing to do.
- 10:45You got that right, Casey. The Bible says your words bring
- 10:49death or life. Proverbs 18, 21.
- 10:52That's a good thing to know. Thanks, Farmerdale.
- 10:55See you later. Casey, let's get our hearts and
- 11:05minds ready for the Bible verse. I'm ready and this time, Casey,
- 11:09I'm not going to let you down. Why do you say that, brain?
- 11:13Stacy says my words are like driving a car.
- 11:16We were talking about a boat, but OK, close enough.
- 11:20Actually, she said the. Things brain says drive you.
- 11:25Crazy. She said that, huh?
- 11:29Yes. So from now on I'm going to
- 11:31focus and say the Bible verse exactly like the kids say it.
- 11:36OK, that's good. Let's get started.
- 11:39Today's Bible verse is Proverbs 1821.
- 11:42Your words bring death or life. Repeat after me, boys and girls,
- 11:48your words. Your words.
- 11:51Bring death or life or life. OK, brain, your turn.
- 11:56Herbert's bad breath is right. Who's Herbert?
- 12:00Don't look at me, I'm just repeating what the kids say.
- 12:03Kids didn't say Herbert, they said your.
- 12:06Words. Your words that doesn't even
- 12:09make sense. Your words.
- 12:11Bad breath is ripe. Maybe we should say the verse
- 12:15again, Casey. Good, because these kids got it
- 12:18all wrong. Don't blame the kids.
- 12:21Let's say it again for brain your words.
- 12:24Your words. Bring death, Bring.
- 12:27Death. Or life.
- 12:29Or life. Your words bring death or wife
- 12:33death. Or wife.
- 12:35What are you thinking, Brain? Yeah.
- 12:38Isn't that the same thing? No, I can't believe you said
- 12:42that. I'm just repeating what the kids
- 12:46said, Casey. They didn't say wife, they said.
- 12:49Life. Oh, your words bring death or
- 12:53life. Proverbs 1821 Your words bring
- 12:58death or life. Now it's time for today's Bible
- 13:03story. I can't wait to hear it.
- 13:05And I can't wait to. Do it.
- 13:07It's the hearer and the. Doer.
- 13:09Of God's Word. Jesus was hungry and noticed a
- 13:25fig tree so we went to see if he could find any figs, but there
- 13:28were only leaves. Jesus said to the tree, May no
- 13:32one ever eat your fruit again. So the next morning as they pass
- 13:36by the tree, Jesus, remember yesterday how you were hungry
- 13:40and wanted a fig? Yes.
- 13:42Look, the tree you told to die is dead.
- 13:45How did you? Do that.
- 13:47Believe it in your heart and speak it out of your mouth.
- 13:50If you have a problem in your life that seems like it's a
- 13:52mountain in your way, like being afraid of the dark or feeling
- 13:56sick. If you will tell it to go, it
- 13:58will go. The way you told the tree to die
- 14:01and it died. Yes, if you believe what you say
- 14:04in your heart, your words have power, Peter, your words bring
- 14:07death or life. Believe in your heart what you
- 14:10say with your mouth. OK, we better get going or we'll
- 14:13be late. Our words are very important.
- 14:17Speaking words is how we get Jesus in our heart.
- 14:20The Bible says if we believe in our heart and say it with our
- 14:23mouths, we'll be saved. So if you've never asked Jesus
- 14:27to come live in your heart, then I want to pray with you.
- 14:31It's not enough to listen to me pray, you have to say it out of
- 14:34your mouth too. Dear God, Dear God, thanks for
- 14:40sending Jesus. Thanks for sending Jesus.
- 14:41To die for my. Sins to die for my sins Jesus
- 14:45come into my heart Jesus came into my heart be the boss of my
- 14:53life be. The boss of my life.
- 14:55In Jesus name In Jesus name, Amen.
- 14:59Amen. It's time for.
- 15:03Spiritual exercises everyone stand up on.
- 15:06Your feet. Here we go.
- 15:07You ready? Repeat after me.
- 15:10Stretch it up real high. I love the Lord I.
- 15:14Love the Lord. With.
- 15:15All my heart with. All my heart.
- 15:18Now show me your muscles. God is good.
- 15:22God is good. All the.
- 15:23Time, all the time. I'm not afraid.
- 15:28I'm not afraid, God is. With me God.
- 15:32Is with. Me good now show.
- 15:34Me. Your Superman.
- 15:35Pose. By Jesus.
- 15:37Stripes. By Jesus stripes I am healed.
- 15:41I am healed. Nice work, now these are my
- 15:45favorite. Kinky push ups up down, up.
- 15:49Down. I love others.
- 15:52I love. Others Jesus loves me like Jesus
- 15:55loves me. That was a.
- 15:58Good workout. All right, let's cool it down.
- 16:01Let's stretch it out. I obey my parents.
- 16:06I obey my. Parents.
- 16:07For this pleases. God, for it pleases God.
- 16:11Good job, kids. Now just shake it out.
- 16:13Shake it out. Turn around if you want.
- 16:17Good job kids, I'm proud of you. So one day Jesus is hungry and
- 16:28he sees a fig tree. What's a fig tree?
- 16:31It's a tree that grows figs. What's a fig man I?
- 16:34Don't know, it's like an an apple or maybe a Peach, but it's
- 16:38a fig. Some kind of fruit, huh?
- 16:40I. Guess anyways, so Jesus walks
- 16:43over to the tree to get a fig to eat, but it doesn't have any
- 16:45figs on it. So then Jesus says to the tree,
- 16:48hey, if I can't have a fig, nobody can have a fig from now
- 16:51on, man. What does that mean?
- 16:53It's like he said to the tree. You're dead, man.
- 16:55He threaten the tree. It's in the Bible.
- 16:59So then the next day when they walk by the tree, it's laying on
- 17:02the ground dead. And Peter says to Jesus, Jesus,
- 17:05look, the tree is dead. And Jesus says, of course it's
- 17:08dead. I told it to die.
- 17:09Have a little faith in what I say, man.
- 17:11Your words bring death or life. Proverbs, 1821.
- 17:16But that's not all. Then Jesus tells his homies,
- 17:19Hey, see that mountain? If you say to that mountain, get
- 17:22out of my way. And you don't think you're crazy
- 17:24for saying it, but you really believe believe it has to move
- 17:26out of your way because you told it to.
- 17:29It will. It will what?
- 17:30Move. Aren't you listening?
- 17:32Jesus said that whatever you pray for, believing you have it,
- 17:36you'll get it. Do you get it?
- 17:38That's courageous. Courageous.
- 17:42Some people think it's crazy. It's not crazy, it's courageous.
- 17:47That's our word for today. It takes courage to speak to
- 17:50your problems and tell them to go.
- 17:53It takes courage to believe that God in you is greater than any
- 17:56problem in your life. It takes courage to believe that
- 17:59your words have the power of life or death.
- 18:03Well, I guess I'm not courageous.
- 18:05I don't know if I could tell a mountain to jump into the ocean.
- 18:09Well, you have to start small, Paco.
- 18:12Learn to talk to little problems.
- 18:14You know, like being afraid to make new friends.
- 18:17Tell the fear to go away and then go talk to that new kid at
- 18:20school. Or when you start to feel like
- 18:23you might be getting sick, tell the symptom to go.
- 18:26I get it. Instead of telling a mountain to
- 18:29jump into the ocean, tell an anthill to jump in a puddle.
- 18:33Yeah, Puckle, that's good. But you know what I'm really
- 18:36good at? What?
- 18:37Getting a fish to jump in his bowl.
- 18:42Ah, come on, at least give me a chance to tell you to jump
- 18:45before you do. You're not helping me be
- 18:48courageous. You can hear and see more of
- 18:53Paco and the Fish telling stories about Jesus on your
- 18:57favorite podcast or video platform.
- 19:00Just search for Paco and the Fish.
- 19:08Casey, do you know what my favorite part of the clubhouse
- 19:12was today? Why don't you tell me, Fuzzy?
- 19:15Liked it when Polly pooped on those kids.
- 19:20Fuzzy Polly didn't poop on any kids.
- 19:23Polly said she wanted to poop on the kids, but I told her she
- 19:27shouldn't say bad things and neither should you.
- 19:31I hope you learned that lesson. I learned why hummingbirds hum.
- 19:37We didn't talk about hummingbirds today, Fuzzy.
- 19:39We didn't. No, but why do hummingbirds hum?
- 19:45Hummingbirds hum because they don't know the words.
- 19:50Hummingbirds don't speak words. Oh, So what did you learn?
- 19:56I learned that our words have power.
- 19:58Remember when Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it died?
- 20:02What Jesus talked to a tree? Yes, that was the Bible story
- 20:07today. Did the tree talk back to him?
- 20:10Trees don't talk fuzzy. I knew that, but why did the
- 20:15tree die? Jesus was showing us how
- 20:18powerful words are. The Bible says when we have a
- 20:21mountain or a problem in our way, we can speak to it and tell
- 20:25it to move out of the way. Like what kind of problem?
- 20:30Well, let's pretend you are afraid of the dark, OK?
- 20:33Oh. It's dark in here.
- 20:40Fuzzy. It's not dark.
- 20:42I know, but you said to pretend I'm pretending so good I can't
- 20:47even see you right now. OK fuzzy, the Bible says that
- 20:52fear is not from God, it's from the devil.
- 20:55So when you feel afraid, tell fear to get out in Jesus name
- 20:59and it has to go. Fear, get out of here in Jesus
- 21:03name. I feel better now, Casey.
- 21:08That's good, Fuzzy. Your words bring death or life.
- 21:11Proverbs 1821. Can you say that Fuzzy?
- 21:15Your words bring death or life. Proverbs, 1821.
- 21:20Very good. Now say goodbye, Fuzzy.
- 21:23Goodbye, Fuzzy. Goodbye kids, see you next time
- 21:28at the Jesus and Me Clubhouse. See you back again at Casey's
- 21:36Clubhouse. It's the place.
- 21:38We learn God's word. Till we meet again at Casey's
- 21:43clubhouse, let's be doers of what we've heard.
