- 1:14Teaches you new stats to breaks down money for you and three gives you insightful
- 1:20Information every single time I am your host your GM who still is not on the team, but
- 1:29Who still is on the road?
- 1:31Prospecting scouting looking to find my next all pro first ballot Hall of Fame player kale. Let's get it
- 2:01You
- 2:32All right folks, you know what there's no point in us trying to delete that little trying to you know walk our way into this thing
- 2:40No, we already in the driver's seat seatbelts is locked in key ignition has already been turned buckle up
- 2:47We're going in for it. All right now if you guys do not know
- 2:51Cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars Tyson Campbell has eight a four-year
- 2:5776.5 million dollar extension to stay with him. He gets 40 he gets 53 excuse me 53.4 million guaranteed
- 3:05He will be making 19.3 million a year right okay cool now
- 3:10Just a few things with Tyson Campbell right this past season he had 42 solo tackles one-force fumble one pick five
- 3:18Past afflictions we look at someone like a Tyson like a Tyson Campbell, right?
- 3:22You're looking at somebody who one is still is still fairly young to it has definitely started to become a
- 3:30major piece within that secondary and
- 3:33Three who at this point it's better to lock him up now
- 3:38Then to try to scramble and try to figure out what are you going to do once free agency hits next year, right?
- 3:44I mean, it's not really that big of a that big of a deal honestly. I think it's a fairly pretty good deal
- 3:51It it doesn't crest, you know, the the top ten highest paid
- 3:57Cornerback list, but it's like right there. So it's like
- 4:01He's he's getting paid
- 4:03But it's not to the point where it's like it's a situation where you know
- 4:07This contract may hurt them like two or three years down the road. Okay?
- 4:11Even when you look at the highest paid corners by annual average salary, right?
- 4:16You have Jaheer Alexander a 21 million Denzel Ward at 20 at 20.1 million J. LaRamsey 20 million Marlon Humphrey
- 4:2419.5 March on Larmor 19.4 Trevon Diggs 19.4
- 4:29So literally if we can be real here though, those are just those are just the top six now
- 4:36Tyson Campbell is probably there but at the same time this also sort of paints a picture for future corners that are going to be
- 4:44You know, you know free agents come next year, right? You have your AJ Turrell's and
- 4:50Whoever else that you know that may be available as well
- 4:53Now when you're going to look a little bit down the road into the future when you have someone like a
- 5:00PS2 or a sauce gardener this sort of you know gives you an idea of like, okay, this is low
- 5:07This is the high. This is the medium. This is probably how much I'm probably want to be asking for
- 5:12You know all those different type of things. So, you know congratulations to him now to show the big boys
- 5:18Love man because we love our tackles. We love our offensive linemen here, right?
- 5:23Left tackle for the Vikings Christian Derisaw, right?
- 5:27ain't a four-year
- 5:30113 million dollar deal
- 5:3377 million of that is guaranteed
- 5:3543.7 million is guaranteed at Simon. He'll be making
- 5:4028.25 million a year
- 5:44Now when we break this down here folks Christian Derisaw has been an anchor on that offensive line
- 5:50Okay, he he is in that group of
- 5:54Young and up young and up and coming tackles who you know have been very productive since coming into the league, right?
- 6:01He's in that group with Penae Suel
- 6:04And Tristan Werffson whatnot. He's in that group because he has you know, he has consistently been
- 6:12One of the best young tackles
- 6:15In the league, right? You're talking about somebody who you know is definitely a focal piece for that offense and an
- 6:23Offense where you know, it's still fairly young, right? You have a quarterback who's on the rookie deal
- 6:29The biggest contract on the entire team's roster is only Justin Jefferson
- 6:35It's the biggest deal and then under that is probably now Christian Derisaw
- 6:39So I say all that to say this the Vikings are following the the recipe which is you build around
- 6:46The quarterback your rookie quarterback within that period where you don't have to pay them
- 6:52So that by the time it gets to you know to to talk about contracts and whatnot. Guess what?
- 6:58The office is already established. It's already went throughs its highs and lows already went through, you know
- 7:05You know a draft player, you know probably didn't do well someone getting traded someone getting moved
- 7:10You know various different types of things, right? And then not to mention the Vikings, you know
- 7:16Their top priorities aside from you know getting their future quarterback was also making sure that they you know paid their left tackle
- 7:24As well as the star receiver because both of them pay both of them play a very pivotal role on that offense
- 7:30And when they are not on the field they are that that offense is just it's not the best, right?
- 7:37And so, you know, how does this affect future tackle, you know deals?
- 7:44I don't know especially for someone like Tristan Werves who you know, he's still looking for money as well
- 7:50So it's a matter of okay, is he probably gonna want more money than Christian D'Aresal?
- 7:56Is he gonna want more money than you know?
- 8:00Pineso, well, what what exactly is Tristan Werves looking for? Okay?
- 8:04I think that's the million dollar question in all of this right now now
- 8:09Moving on to other things because we have a lot to talk about okay, but first before we get to the rent
- 8:16I'll let I think we do have to talk about Hassan Redick just a little bit now
- 8:21When we look at the Hassan Redick situation right Hassan Redick, you know since being traded from the Eagles to the Jets
- 8:28Basically has been holding out because he wants a new deal rightfully so no problem with that. However
- 8:34There really hasn't been a lot of communication
- 8:38As far as you know, what exactly is Hassan Redick's number?
- 8:42Why are the Jets not willing to pay him is there you know what exactly is going on right and so you know
- 8:50The the Giants I mean other Giants
- 8:52Excuse me because I was watching hard knocks before before I started recording the Jets GM is in a situation where
- 9:00You have to figure out exactly. What do you want to do with with Hassan Redick at this point?
- 9:05because he's probably looking for top dollar money and you realize that you know
- 9:10this this
- 9:12Not the roster, but the the the contracts are starting to pile up just a little bit right you have Aaron Rodgers
- 9:20Deal you have Quinn and Williams deal. You still have CJ Moseley's deals
- 9:24You still have a lot of you know moving pieces, but at the same time
- 9:28You want to be able to have a little bit of cap flexibility
- 9:32Just in case you want to try go after you know some people to Fonte Adams or Brandon are you awake? Who knows right?
- 9:38So you have you want to be able to figure out what you want to do now granted
- 9:45if you if you would have told the Jets that Hassan Redick would have you know be doing things that he's doing right now I
- 9:53Think the Jets probably wouldn't have tried to trade for Hassan Redick, but clearly
- 9:59That's not the case and so now they're in a situation where?
- 10:03They have to figure out exactly. What are they going to do?
- 10:06with him because training camp has started right and
- 10:10You know you don't want something like this to continue to linger on as training camp continues to go by you don't especially
- 10:18If you have with them having someone like a Hassan Redick on that defensive line that definitely elevates things to another level
- 10:26Okay, because you have Quinn and Williams in the middle. He's gonna have to get double team
- 10:30You have a sign ready who can play both the left and the right side
- 10:34You have you know, you still have Jermaine Johnson and you also have
- 10:41The other patch rusher that they drafted as well
- 10:43so you have somewhat of a
- 10:46Rotation on the defensive line and that cannot be you know done successfully if
- 10:53You know if you're supposed to star patch rusher isn't even there practicing
- 10:58Right like there there has been
- 11:01There has been so much drama with the Jets lately that it's just like do you even paid any mind at this point?
- 11:10Like granted, I'm I'm I'll always say that I'm pro player always want you know players getting paid and whatnot
- 11:16But at this point you are hurting yourself more and you are hurting the team by you by your negligence
- 11:23Instead of just trying to you know come into the building trying to figure out exactly, you know
- 11:29What what mutual ground do you and the team has?
- 11:32What's a number that that benefits everybody is it too high is it too low is it just right and
- 11:39Just go from there at that point you would conquer more
- 11:43There if you was then you know then just you know holding out over there
- 11:47It's different if you was holding in if he was holding in you know
- 11:51He's just doing his own personal work
- 11:53Workouts to the side and not with the team then that's perfectly fine because he's in the building and that means that you can you know
- 12:01Have a physical conversation with him compared to him not being involved with the team at all not learning the defense not
- 12:09Understanding and building chemistry with other players on that team
- 12:13Especially on the defense so I say all that to say this and this is for any player
- 12:18That you know that that may be trying to look for a deal it would be better for you to do a hold in
- 12:25Than a hold out because at least with a hold in you can still have that
- 12:30Communication with the front office and with your agent to try to find and get a deal done as quickly as possible
- 12:37Because the longer this thing holds out
- 12:41The more attention is it's going to be brought and it's just it's sort of like a fire you the more oxygen
- 12:47It gets and I could be wrong the more oxygen it gets the stronger the
- 12:53The fire gets and you don't want that because you already have drama already with you know
- 12:59Aron Rogers, so now you're gonna have this like it's just all it's just a
- 13:04big ball of just
- 13:07Bull crap. That's really what it is and you know
- 13:11Kudos to all the Jets fans that endure all this. I don't know how the world you guys do it
- 13:15But if it was me, I would not be doing it at all now. It's time to go into these rain alerts
- 13:21Okay, we got a lot of rain alerts. Okay, so I'm gonna let you know right now
- 13:28You probably don't want to listen to this out in public. Okay, you probably want to have headphones on
- 13:33Or you know, whatever else how however it is. Okay, so let's let's let's let's get into these rain alerts, okay?
- 13:40So the bangles owner bangles owner. I think his name is Mike Brown if I'm not mistaken
- 13:46So he put out two quotes lately
- 13:48About both T Higgins and the Jamar Chase
- 13:51Contract situation. So let's go over the quote that he put out on why he's not paying T Higgins
- 13:57So he said and I quote according to Miles Simmons from NBC Sports Pro football Network shout out to you for the reporting
- 14:03He said quote-unquote the pie is not going to grow
- 14:06It's only going to be a certain size but when you reach a point where with your quarterback that you have to pay him a
- 14:13Big contract that takes a disproportionate price out of the pie
- 14:17Which means you have less to pay the others
- 14:21Sometimes the impacts whether you can get get the other sign
- 14:25You can't just pay the people willy-nilly
- 14:28You're restricted on how much you can pay and we really like T Higgins
- 14:32We would wish to sign him but it has to be a certain level to fit within the cap or it can't be done
- 14:39Right now when you look at all of that
- 14:43And in some ways he he does make sense, you know once you do pay the quarterback
- 14:48It does limit the ability to pay other players
- 14:52However, you did know that this was coming up soon, right?
- 14:57You knew it you knew that pretty soon you're gonna have to pay T Higgins
- 15:02You're gonna have to pay Jomar Chase and you're gonna have to pay Joe Burrow, right?
- 15:05You already knew that so for you to say something like you can't just pay the people willy-nilly
- 15:13Yes, you can technically speaking
- 15:15Because you could have paid T Higgins last year had you paid T Higgins last year
- 15:21You wouldn't be in the situation where you are right now
- 15:24Because now the word the wide receiver market is so crazy right now
- 15:28And you still have one you still have two more players that are going to get big contracts in both
- 15:36His mind just his name just just let my mind up Brandon IE week and CD lamb
- 15:43It's gonna mess you up more it is
- 15:46Whether you realize it or not the longer that you wait out
- 15:50The worst it's going to be for you because guess what the minute somebody else gets as close as they can to Justin
- 15:57Jefferson's deal or even surpasses it it messes up the entire negotiation
- 16:01It does and you literally have two receivers right now
- 16:05Who are ones on any other team?
- 16:09Right, and you know that if you let one of those two walk or the both of them walk, that's it
- 16:17It is for Nito. It is done, right when you look at T Higgins market value
- 16:23It's still five years ninety eight point five million which would equate to nineteen point seven million
- 16:30On average according to spot right now when you look at your mark Chase's market value
- 16:34It's a three-year ninety one point five million dollar deal. He'll be making thirty point five million a year
- 16:41When we look at these deals those deals aren't really that bad, right?
- 16:46Because okay, yes Joe Burrow is you know, it's hit his deal is sort of like ironclad because he's the quarterback
- 16:53Okay, perfectly fine, but you have to be able to find a way to make sure that you take care of both T Higgins and
- 17:01Jamar Chase, but even then with with the you know recent reports coming out that you know
- 17:06They haven't even had a discussion about contract talks since last March for
- 17:13For T Higgins that says a lot that says a whole lot of folks
- 17:18That is something that you in some ways you have to be concerned about
- 17:22Because why in the world didn't you not have these discussions?
- 17:29You know since since last March and
- 17:32T Higgins has basically let it be known like listen once this season is over with I'm going
- 17:38I'm going and so you know that bridge is basically burnt
- 17:42And I don't think it'll probably be rebuilt who knows but when you look at you know
- 17:48But when you go back to the bangles owner when you look at his quotes about Jamar Chase
- 17:54It's somewhat of a similar thing as well. He said according to Adam Schefter
- 17:58He said and I quote it's not so likely that this is the good time to negotiate
- 18:04The offseason is a better time for that and we're going to try to keep focus on the football part
- 18:09I'm not going to rule anything out, but I will tell you that the die has already been cast, right?
- 18:15This is the offseason
- 18:18Mr. Brown, it's that this is this is the offseason, right?
- 18:22That's this this right here this this area this this time. It's the offseason
- 18:27So why on God's green earth?
- 18:30Would you say something like this when you know dad going well that CD lamb is still looking for a deal and
- 18:38Brandon I you look is still looking for a deal
- 18:40You know damn well that you are not going to pay neither one of these receivers
- 18:47And you know damn well when you don't pay neither one of these receivers
- 18:52You guys are going to go back to being the fourth best team in this division. You know it. I know it everybody knows it
- 19:01That's ridiculous. That's honestly ridiculous
- 19:04You should have prioritized making sure that you take care of your offense because guess what your offense is the reason
- 19:12Why you guys win so many games your offense is the reason why you guys made it to the Super Bowl
- 19:18Your offense is the reason why you guys continue to go toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes
- 19:24Without that offense you guys are nothing and I don't care what any Bengals fan may say
- 19:30It's literally your offense. That's the best part of your team. You take away that offense
- 19:36You have nothing that defense that defense is deplorable
- 19:41You have Trey Hendrickson who was on the edge right now who is basically saying I am willing to retire
- 19:48Unless you guys give me more money. You've lost DJ reader. You've lost Larry open Joby
- 19:54You've lost a lot of the people in that secondary and you think just you know, oh, it's just not the time to do it
- 20:02Well, when is the good time to do it?
- 20:04When when is the time for you to finally decide? Oh, okay? It's time to pay
- 20:11The receivers now. No, you should have taken care of this now
- 20:16Because now the receiver market is so jacked up and it's not going to be able to somewhat
- 20:22Um fix itself that guess what now you're gonna have to pay more money and
- 20:28Let's not hope and pray that CD land gets a deal done soon or Brandon
- 20:35Iewe because if one of those two get a get a deal done soon
- 20:40The whole playing field is destroyed. You know it. I know but hey, guess what?
- 20:46I'm a bankers fan. So guess what? I have to deal with this shit. I don't who cares, right?
- 20:51Nobody cares, but this is the type of stuff here folks
- 20:57That some that at times can make you a little bit
- 21:02Frustrated with the team because it's like, okay
- 21:05Why are you so unwilling to not pay?
- 21:09You know that your players take care of your players now great
- 21:12I understand that you know, not everybody can get paid. I understand that I respect that all those different type of things
- 21:19But you have to know it but you have to have active
- 21:24negotiations with the team in order to understand and probably come to a conclusion on hey
- 21:31Maybe it's just best that we just part of separate ways. We play we play the season now
- 21:36Maybe we'll come, you know, maybe we'll come back and you know figure figure something out
- 21:41I you know post the season maybe we can you know rekindle something and try to get a deal done
- 21:46Or we'll just let you just walk in free agency. How easy is that?
- 21:51I literally just solved the problem and I've only been a GM for only six years
- 21:56But I'm still not on the team right now, but that's another storefront another day
- 22:00That's all I'm saying, right? And you know, if you're a bangles fan, you should be concerned about this because guess what?
- 22:07If the bangles don't pay neither T. Haggings or Jamar taste
- 22:13It's gonna look
- 22:15And this is about to be a load of barnacles
- 22:20But again, I am not a bangles fan now moving on to this whole
- 22:26Giants and say quant situation because now we finally are able to see
- 22:32Say quant tell his side of the story and sort of break things down on
- 22:37What exactly happened between those contract negotiations between him and the Giants because hard knots did show
- 22:44You know the phone conversation and whatnot, but they didn't really go in depth
- 22:48With everything but with say quant doing an interview with Diana Mussini and her podcast shout out to scoop city
- 22:55You know now we are finally able to sort of pick apart and sort of understand exactly what happened, right?
- 23:01So, you know, these are just sort of like a few notes that sort of you know, jot it down when when I was
- 23:07listening and looking at the
- 23:09Looking at the interview. So basically he said and I quote it was over after the phone call in my opinion
- 23:16It was over after after that because I never in my heart truly believed
- 23:21They were going to match it or they only wanted me for a lower price
- 23:25Joe made a comment that it took 10 years off his life like if it took 10 years off your life
- 23:30What do you think it did for me?
- 23:32Right now from that alone, you can definitely tell
- 23:35That this situation especially that phone call probably, you know
- 23:41bothered sequan a little bit because
- 23:44When you look at it, you know, he's definitely been a very focal piece for that, you know for that offense
- 23:49So for the GM to basically go out and say, okay. Yeah
- 23:54Uh, we're just gonna let you hit free agency and let you test the market and hopefully, you know, you come back, you know
- 24:00You know, there's any other blah blah blah all the same rhetoric that every GM says
- 24:04But in sequan situation, it's a little bit unique because
- 24:10He's a focal point. He's the focal point of the offense. That's what he is, right?
- 24:15And you know as a GM, there are certain players on your team that you have to prioritize
- 24:22And if you don't prioritize them guess what's gonna happen
- 24:25They're gonna go to a division rival and then they're gonna run your ass over
- 24:30Every single time that the that you guys face one another and that's exactly what sequan is going to do when he goes up
- 24:36When he goes up against the Giants
- 24:38He went to the Eagles
- 24:39The owner literally said
- 24:42I would I don't want to lose sleep
- 24:46Off of this sequan situation in translate in translation. Do you know what that means?
- 24:52We need to sign sequan. You need to find a way to get sequan. I don't care
- 24:58What the general norm is about running backs and paying them a whole lot of money?
- 25:03None of those things you need to find a way to get him because he realizes that sequan
- 25:10alone
- 25:11Does so much for that offense and when sequan is not on that field when he is not making plays and whatnot
- 25:19That offense becomes stagnant and he cannot do anything with it
- 25:23That's what it is, right?
- 25:25even when you look at some of the
- 25:27Some of you know some of the things
- 25:30Um that that sequan said, you know, he he he said, you know, he felt, you know frustrated that the that the Giants didn't prioritize
- 25:39Um didn't prioritize him and sort of give him a fair negotiation compared to what they did for you know
- 25:45um
- 25:47You know dexter lorenz and daniel jones and anthony tom is right, which is
- 25:52rightfully so
- 25:54You you didn't try your hardest to try to find a way to keep sequan
- 25:59Sequan already told you where he wanted to be
- 26:03So if he told you where you where he wanted to be you should have worked something out to get it done
- 26:10That's what you should have done instead of you trying to talk yourself into believing into daniel jones
- 26:17You should have been trying to figure out a way to do something with sequan
- 26:20You should have been trying to figure out a way to do something with sequan
- 26:25You should have been trying to figure out a way to do something with sequan
- 26:31Because you know damn well if you
- 26:35lose sequan
- 26:36That's it for the offense because no matter who else you bring they will not be able to match the production
- 26:44That is sequan barkley brings
- 26:46Perfectly fine. No disrespect to him at all great great opportunity for him to get you know to get more money or whatnot
- 26:52But at the same time
- 26:54Do you really think devin singletary can do the same things that a sequan barkley can do no
- 27:00No, not at all not even not even on the best day of the week
- 27:07Could devin singletary do the things that sequan barkley do and they know it
- 27:11So if you think that's going to work perfectly fine, but just know you messed up
- 27:16But even when we go and we go a little bit deeper into this interview, you know
- 27:22sequan won the first two years of the deal guarantee
- 27:26But when as joe shane basically said he was going to take it up with ownership
- 27:30And you know there was never an answer giving back to sequan on if they can do that or not
- 27:35Me personally, I feel like that was somewhat of a simple fix that you probably shouldn't you shouldn't have to go to
- 27:41management for because you're the gm and
- 27:43You should just basically say somewhat of a yes or no answer
- 27:46You should have just run that you know with the money people and then you know just go from there honestly, right?
- 27:52And you know, I would definitely say throughout this entire interview
- 27:56He definitely emphasized a lot that he felt disrespected
- 28:00You know throughout the entire process and rightfully so because you know when you look at it
- 28:05Sequan really didn't have a chance to really negotiate. He did it and so
- 28:13In his mind, he's like to hell with y'all
- 28:16If y'all don't value me as as a player if y'all don't value me
- 28:21You know what I do on the field off the field for this organization
- 28:25Then what is the point in me trying to give you guys a chance to?
- 28:30You know try to get a deal done or try to come back. There's no point
- 28:34The bridge is already burning you said what you said whatever you
- 28:38What when when you said what you said when Joe Shane basically said we're gonna let you hit the free agency market
- 28:44That's it. That's the nail in the coffin. That's it. That's it. There's nothing you can do or say that's going to change that
- 28:51It's not
- 28:52And so now you're gonna have to do with the repercussions
- 28:56You know what the repercussions are say quan steam rolling that defense two times a season
- 29:02And guess what and guess what Joe Shane?
- 29:05You got the best seat in the house
- 29:08So you get to see it for two games this season. So guess what?
- 29:14So when it happens when seguan barkley goes off and seguan does seguan things
- 29:19Just know we're all going to revisit that conversation that you had with him on hard knocks
- 29:25Where you basically said, oh, yeah, I'm just gonna let you hit the free agency. Let's go. Let you just test the market
- 29:29See what happens. Okay. That's what happened now moving on to
- 29:35You know just just some very small key points. Um, amari cooper
- 29:38Basically
- 29:40Agreed to a restructure of his deal. Um, basically the browns are giving him
- 29:45five a five million dollars somewhat of a
- 29:48Arrays it if you would say but it's mainly in incentives while giving half of the 20 million dollars that he was supposed to get
- 29:55And change it into a signing bonus now me personally
- 29:59I think it's more of a somewhat of a cleanup type of
- 30:03Um deal
- 30:04I think it's more of a way to create a little bit of uh cap space for them and give them a little bit of
- 30:10Flexibility just in case if they do want to go after somebody and add to this team
- 30:15But at the same time try to take a little bit less off of his contract because they know
- 30:22that you know
- 30:23Maybe they want to get rid of them. Maybe they want to trade them. Maybe they
- 30:27Maybe they want to try to add somebody else into the receiver room or to the offense or let them know the defense
- 30:32Who knows right the browns have been able to do very small little things when it comes to their contracts and their books
- 30:39You know lately and you know to some people it's like, you know, it's nothing really, you know major but to me
- 30:45It's like okay
- 30:46They're trying to set themselves up to probably go after one more big time player possibly but who knows right?
- 30:54Now same thing with uh the matt matthew staffer situation, you know, he agreed to a restructure deal as well
- 31:00He only had 15 million guaranteed. Um after after the 2024 season
- 31:05Um, but unfortunately there there is no details about that restruct as well
- 31:10But what it sounds like to me is he didn't he wanted more guaranteed money
- 31:15He had it after this season after this upcoming
- 31:19Season and so basically the Rams probably gave him a number
- 31:22They probably agreed to that number and so they probably broke it down
- 31:25And so, you know, here's the situation that you have right here now
- 31:31Here is something that we have to talk about because this just came up, right?
- 31:37So nonji here is finally has spoken
- 31:39You know about, you know, what what has happened with the Steelers and you know them not deciding to pick up his fifth year option
- 31:48Um now all my Steelers fans, you know, don't don't get upset with me because I am a Steelers fan myself
- 31:54I mean I sound like it all the time, but yes, unfortunately. I am a Steelers fan
- 31:58So according to Brooke prior shout out shout out to Brooke by the way, um
- 32:03This is basically the quote that that um that nonji basically said at trading camp, right?
- 32:08So basically, um
- 32:11They he said that the Steelers told him that they were declining because they didn't know which direction the offense is
- 32:18headed
- 32:19I'm gonna say that again
- 32:21The Steelers told nonji Harris the person who's had a thousand rushing yards
- 32:28Three seasons in a row that they don't know which direction the offense is headed
- 32:33Meanwhile, the Steelers hired
- 32:36Arthur Smith who runs a run heavy offense
- 32:43Oh, by the way
- 32:45The Steelers drafted two tackles in the first round with both project Jones
- 32:53and Troy Futano
- 32:55And you mean to tell me
- 32:57That the bullshit answer that you give nonji Harris is oh, we don't know which which direction the offense is headed
- 33:03Bullshit
- 33:06Straight up bullshit. You cannot you can't tell someone like that
- 33:11That okay. Yeah, we don't know which was direct
- 33:14You know because you made the moves that dictated what direction the offense is going to go
- 33:21Which is what we're going to run the ball and we're going to have a physical defense
- 33:26That's the identity of the Pittsburgh Steelers going into the 2024 season
- 33:31Everybody knows it
- 33:33They've been rebuilding the offensive line. They've been prioritizing running the ball more
- 33:38They got an offensive coordinator who ran the ball when he was the offensive coordinator at tennessee
- 33:45So why in the world would you tell me something like this? And let's not forget folks
- 33:50The fifth year option for nonji Harris wasn't even that expensive
- 33:55It was only six to eight million dollars if i'm not mistaken
- 33:58So what in the world are we doing and that's probably going to be that that's probably the name for this episode. Bam
- 34:06GM does it every single time
- 34:08But what are we doing here folks? What are we doing?
- 34:11It's one thing if nonji Harris wasn't being productive
- 34:14It's one thing if you know, you want to go in a different direction and whatnot. Okay, cool perfectly fine
- 34:20But to say something like this, you don't know which direction the offense is headed
- 34:24I'm sorry. That is a lackluster answer. Um, because clearly your actions
- 34:31spoke louder than your words
- 34:33Especially, you know with previous interviews leading up to this point basically
- 34:39You know both the GM and the head coach and the owner basically emphasizing that they wanted to run the ball more
- 34:45That's what they emphasize
- 34:46So if they emphasize that they wanted to run the ball more then guess what guess what they did
- 34:51They got an offensive coordinator who does what run the ball more. They got one offense of linemen so they can do what run the ball more
- 34:59Come on guys. Come on. Can you know what? I'm I'm I'm done. I'm I'm I'm I'm just
- 35:07Wow, you cannot make this stuff out folks. I'm just gonna end this right here. Thank you guys so much for listening to another episode
