- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shog. Welcome to the Laughty but Night Show. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: your house to Rub Shooner. Joining us today on Thursday,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Christmas Eve is a dear friend, Corey Andrew from instinct
- 0:25Speaker 1: dot com. Corey, are you there? I am here, darling.
- 0:29Speaker 1: But wait, I think it's Friday, the wrong day. It's fried.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It's Christmas. I got a little secret. Normally we can
- 0:43Speaker 1: edit these little mistakes out, but because it's Christmas Eve,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we're not going to there. We are messing up. It
- 0:47Speaker 1: is day. You know why why? My my calendars off?
- 0:52Speaker 1: So I actually sort of stopped work on Wednesday. And
- 0:56Speaker 1: this is to be proud of my job. Really, he
- 1:00Speaker 1: finds my calendar. So I have such a sort of
- 1:03Speaker 1: busy job. I'm such a busy body in my job.
- 1:05Speaker 1: It's a busy job that if I don't carefully plan
- 1:09Speaker 1: it out, it's impossible to get the podcast, the gossip column,
- 1:13Speaker 1: the West Side, the TV appears is the box that
- 1:16Speaker 1: is impossible to do it all unless it's backtad. So
- 1:18Speaker 1: on Tuesday, Wednesday, this week, my schedule is clear and
- 1:21Speaker 1: I've completely lost my mind. Day it is. It feels nice.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I'm doing nothing, nothing, nothing For the next couple of days.
- 1:28Speaker 1: What are your plans for tomorrow? My friend, Well, Joe
- 1:31Speaker 1: and I would just kind of hang out here at
- 1:33Speaker 1: the apartment. I'm going to cook something delicious which I
- 1:35Speaker 1: cannot figure out yet what it's going to be, but
- 1:37Speaker 1: it will be good. I love to cook. I better
- 1:40Speaker 1: go buy it soon at the grocery store. But no,
- 1:42Speaker 1: that's it around. This is our first Christmas Eve together
- 1:47Speaker 1: and I love it if we can afford the right,
- 1:49Speaker 1: so i'd want you to sing a carol. Believe me,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I know we don't want to get with them years
- 1:55Speaker 1: and we'll hopefully sooner than that. Maybe we'll start doing
- 1:58Speaker 1: some live podcast. This isn't a thing apparently, people and
- 2:01Speaker 1: now booking themselves into small venues around the country and
- 2:05Speaker 1: doing five shows. And I think the Naughties would turn
- 2:08Speaker 1: up for us. Goodness knows, they've always been let to
- 2:10Speaker 1: support us. And I think we could do a Christmas
- 2:12Speaker 1: show where you can end it singing carols. It feels
- 2:18Speaker 1: so holiday. Get in the spirit today, I treat is up.
- 2:21Speaker 1: After the podcast, I'm gonna start playing some carols. It's
- 2:24Speaker 1: a very quiet Christmas because of everything that's going on,
- 2:29Speaker 1: and actually it might be one of the most beautiful
- 2:32Speaker 1: Christmas is because I'm really focusing on what Christmas is
- 2:34Speaker 1: really about instead of all the big parties and the friends.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Nobody's coming over. It's Bruce Derby and myself and know
- 2:42Speaker 1: it will be lovely. We are very very blessed, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: everybody out there, we are sending you all. I love. Hey,
- 2:47Speaker 1: let's jump into the show one time, is it? My friends?
- 2:50Speaker 1: It is so. Megan Markle and Prince Harry have shared
- 2:56Speaker 1: the first photograph of Little Lily Bedits on them Christmas cards,
- 3:01Speaker 1: so the weight is over. We've never seen her before.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And just two days before Christmas, the Duke and the
- 3:07Speaker 1: Duchess of Sussex I've released their family card featuring the
- 3:11Speaker 1: first photograph of let's get her name right, Lily Bette
- 3:16Speaker 1: Diana mount Batton Windsor. Oh that's who, isn't it? The
- 3:22Speaker 1: photograph Harry, Megan, Little Archie and Lillibetta Archies too now
- 3:26Speaker 1: are sitting in the door frame. Lily Betty is looking
- 3:30Speaker 1: adorably for me and she's held up mid air. So
- 3:34Speaker 1: the family also went for quite a casual look there
- 3:37Speaker 1: in the in the jeens, which I really like. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: think this is how this family looks stay today. Obviously
- 3:43Speaker 1: it's a photograph, so like us, they brush their hair,
- 3:46Speaker 1: their teeth, they sat up straight. It's a professional photograph too.
- 3:51Speaker 1: This is not ms D and her iPhone capturing. This
- 3:55Speaker 1: is a professional picture. It's lovely to see her. Now.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I have to say that we're all friends on the show,
- 4:01Speaker 1: so we can talk about this stuff. I'm glad you're
- 4:03Speaker 1: here today to Corey. Megan did say that there was
- 4:08Speaker 1: some speculation in the family about what the baby would
- 4:11Speaker 1: look like. Today we're seeing the baby. Is it wrong
- 4:16Speaker 1: for us to say she's got beautiful red hair and
- 4:19Speaker 1: to talk about it? What What do you think, Corey? No,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I think that we make it strange and bizarre by
- 4:24Speaker 1: trying to avoid talking about how she looks. You know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: we're only innocently saying she looks like her father. Her
- 4:30Speaker 1: father has red hair, so much innocent. Yeah, And you know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: there's an amazing model who I love right now named Tiana,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and she's amazing, and she's a black model with red
- 4:40Speaker 1: hair and freckles and she's just stunning. And so you know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: it adds to this new diversity of the world. It's
- 4:46Speaker 1: a cultural mix. And I think this family represents that. Yes,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I agree, I loved it. I love and I'm a
- 4:52Speaker 1: nosy person. We all are really on the show. And
- 4:55Speaker 1: I looked at her little shoes and little feet, a
- 4:57Speaker 1: little hand. I'm very nosy. I love the whole setup.
- 5:00Speaker 1: The only thing missing is I don't think the dog
- 5:02Speaker 1: is in the picture. They've got dog, so I love
- 5:05Speaker 1: a dog too. But you know you're pushing your love.
- 5:07Speaker 1: It's hard enough to get two children in a photograph
- 5:09Speaker 1: while getting animals into a forgetting. I love this. And
- 5:12Speaker 1: another thing that I think so interesting, Corey is historically
- 5:16Speaker 1: celebrities have sold their baby pictures to magazines for millions
- 5:21Speaker 1: of dollars. When I was the executive editor of Okay
- 5:24Speaker 1: magazine and we bid ten million dollars for Angelina and
- 5:29Speaker 1: Brad's baby pictures the twins, we lost. We didn't People
- 5:34Speaker 1: magazine be more. Those days are gone. Those magazines are
- 5:39Speaker 1: not bidding that amount of money anymore. However, Vanity Fair, Vogue,
- 5:44Speaker 1: all the glamorous magazines, US Weekly People, they would have
- 5:47Speaker 1: loved to have had these exclusive pictures, but they said, no,
- 5:51Speaker 1: we're going to put it out on our own social media.
- 5:54Speaker 1: This is the new way, isn't it taking control of
- 5:56Speaker 1: your own publishing really yeah. Yeah, and you also do
- 6:00Speaker 1: your own editing, your own photo editing. You don't have
- 6:02Speaker 1: to worry about that. I mean, no one's better than
- 6:04Speaker 1: me and my iPhone. Honey, Okay, Patrick Patrick Demarcier has
- 6:09Speaker 1: nothing for me. Patrick is a very famous fashion photographer.
- 6:13Speaker 1: For those that don't know, let me ask you, Cory,
- 6:16Speaker 1: would have you ever edited a babby picture? Is that? No? No? No? No?
- 6:21Speaker 1: I wouldn't. That's too far. I mean I think Kim
- 6:24Speaker 1: Kardashian might no shade, but I wouldn't. What about a
- 6:29Speaker 1: doggie picture? Would you ever give that a filter? It's
- 6:34Speaker 1: so absurd to think about, but I might say yes
- 6:37Speaker 1: to that yes question. The day, Megan Markel and Harry
- 6:46Speaker 1: have shared their first photograph of little Lily Bet. It's
- 6:49Speaker 1: on their two thousand and twenty one family Christmas card.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Are you excited to meet Lily Bet? I know the answer?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yes or no? Go votes on Twitter page at Noughty Noise,
- 7:00Speaker 1: Rob Corey Love, what are you working on? Yes, We've
- 7:04Speaker 1: got a first look at Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson's
- 7:07Speaker 1: untraditional New Year's Eve bash. Yeah, it's really coming up.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It's gonna be fun. So the Millennial icons Molly Cyrus
- 7:14Speaker 1: and Pete Davidson, they are officially hosting Miley's New Year's
- 7:17Speaker 1: Eve party, and Miley says, honestly, I think people should
- 7:21Speaker 1: watch this New Year's Eve show because it's going to
- 7:23Speaker 1: be something that's traditional, but we're doing it untraditionally. Now,
- 7:28Speaker 1: Molly says, yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun
- 7:30Speaker 1: because she says they're gonna invite their real friends. It's
- 7:32Speaker 1: gonna be like a real party, only with cameras capturing
- 7:36Speaker 1: everything live. So Miley also says that they're going to
- 7:40Speaker 1: have like the show, but it's gonna feel like it's
- 7:42Speaker 1: really there in Miami and everyone's gonna be watching and
- 7:45Speaker 1: there with them while it's happening. So it's really really cool, right, Like, um, yeah, yeah,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I like it too. I think too often what people
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't realize about television shows who's they are very produced.
- 7:59Speaker 1: This is not real friends hanging and you all get
- 8:02Speaker 1: a call time. You don't really know each other. Before
- 8:05Speaker 1: the show, the host might pop their head in to
- 8:07Speaker 1: say hello, sometimes they don't. Famously, on the David Letterman Show,
- 8:11Speaker 1: he would not talk to guests during commercial breaks. So
- 8:15Speaker 1: during the commercial breaks it was really awkward. The guests
- 8:17Speaker 1: would sit there for two or three minutes in silence,
- 8:20Speaker 1: look away and get up and walk away from the desk,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and so you'd just be sitting there by yourself. I've
- 8:25Speaker 1: been at the show with guests when he did that,
- 8:27Speaker 1: he would argue he wanted to keep it all for
- 8:30Speaker 1: the camera, so if you talk off. Regis was the same.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Regis didn't like to talk to Kelly in the morning
- 8:36Speaker 1: before they taped their show because he said, if we
- 8:38Speaker 1: gossip in the dressing rooms, then we've got nothing to
- 8:41Speaker 1: say on TV before we start our podcast. Corey, we
- 8:44Speaker 1: do chat a bit, but I tried not to chat
- 8:46Speaker 1: too much because I could talk to you for an
- 8:48Speaker 1: hour before the show and then we hit record and
- 8:51Speaker 1: before nothing left to say. So I sort of understand this.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I do think it's a nice idea of having their friends,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but we've got to state the obvious. Here is Jim
- 8:59Speaker 1: car Ads and going. That's the only friend we care
- 9:01Speaker 1: about going Tonight. I'm told it's Chris Jenner's big Christmas
- 9:08Speaker 1: Eve party. She throws it every year. In the past,
- 9:11Speaker 1: j Lo's attended Paris Hilton I'm told it's going to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be scaled back because of COVID, But I don't really
- 9:17Speaker 1: care about anybody there except one person. Is Pete going?
- 9:21Speaker 1: Is Pete going tonight? I know there's so many photographers
- 9:26Speaker 1: camps outside Chris Jenna's house all day to capture who
- 9:30Speaker 1: the guests are. You know, Ben and Jaylo could turn up,
- 9:33Speaker 1: we wouldn't even bat An Eyelid. The only one we
- 9:35Speaker 1: want to see, Alec Baldwin and Hillaria could turn up,
- 9:38Speaker 1: we wouldn't. The only one we want to see is
- 9:41Speaker 1: if Pete goes. And these TV shows they're a little
- 9:44Speaker 1: bit similar, if they can capture this real friendship, if
- 9:49Speaker 1: they can capture a real party rather than one that's staged,
- 9:53Speaker 1: which is every other TV show capture lightning in a bottle? Here,
- 9:57Speaker 1: which showed you watched? Do you watch a show on
- 10:00Speaker 1: on New Year's Eve? Are you the Ryan Secret Show?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Are you the Anderson Cooper Show? Are you who? Do
- 10:05Speaker 1: you know? I grew up loving the whole Dick Clark
- 10:07Speaker 1: Rock and New Year's efall, and so when Ryan sort
- 10:10Speaker 1: of became the new version of that, I think that
- 10:12Speaker 1: feels more traditional. I loved Kathy and Um and Anderson
- 10:16Speaker 1: together and look, and I love Andy Cohen, but I
- 10:20Speaker 1: just don't feel that he and he and he and Anderson.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't know. I didn't catch the same magic, did it?
- 10:26Speaker 1: A lots of people do like them together, But Kathy
- 10:28Speaker 1: Griffin and Anderson Cooper are used to and then drunk
- 10:32Speaker 1: called Don Lemon. He was in New Orleans Boyfriend Mom.
- 10:42Speaker 1: He was k P CNN show. Oh, I used to
- 10:45Speaker 1: really enjoy. I'm gonna give Miley a try this just
- 10:48Speaker 1: in case Kim turns up. It's terrible. Moving along. Nick Vallyle,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I think that's how you pronounced his last name. He
- 10:53Speaker 1: was on the Bachelor, but now he's revealing he's one
- 10:56Speaker 1: demand in his contract. So he was a runnerer. I
- 11:00Speaker 1: think on the Bachelorette two times twice. He was on
- 11:04Speaker 1: the Bachelorette and then he landed the role of the Bachelor.
- 11:07Speaker 1: He's reflecting on his journey and he's saying that he
- 11:12Speaker 1: didn't really care about the money. What he cared about
- 11:15Speaker 1: while negotiating a contract with ABC is please cast women
- 11:20Speaker 1: I'm into He said, yes, I need the money and
- 11:23Speaker 1: I would not do it for free. But basically I've
- 11:27Speaker 1: lived without a job prior to getting the gig, so
- 11:30Speaker 1: he asked the producers really for what he needed to
- 11:32Speaker 1: survive for a year, So we didn't ask for a
- 11:35Speaker 1: lot of money, but he said, I really really want
- 11:38Speaker 1: to have people that I like. These are the women
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm attracted to. These are the personalities I really really like.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Can you do that? And of course they said yes, yes, yes.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think this is very very clever. It never occurs
- 11:52Speaker 1: to you, does it? On the Bachelor the Bachelorette. You
- 11:55Speaker 1: walk into a room and just because there's thirty people there,
- 11:57Speaker 1: it doesn't mean you like any of them. And so
- 11:59Speaker 1: I think it is very clever beforehand to really do
- 12:02Speaker 1: a surveyor to talk to the bachelor of the Bachelorette,
- 12:06Speaker 1: who are you into? Like? What? What? What do you like?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Do you like funny? Do you like model looking guys?
- 12:12Speaker 1: What's your sort of criteria? Which leads me to ask you, Corey,
- 12:17Speaker 1: what's your criteria? Well, I've been with him for twenty
- 12:22Speaker 1: two years, yes, and oh well, I do you know?
- 12:30Speaker 1: My Joe is a good looking guys And the blue eyes,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know, you've got blue eyes like an Alaska husky,
- 12:35Speaker 1: And it sort of sold me from day one. Gorgeous eyes.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So I think those are definitely two points of interest.
- 12:43Speaker 1: At two points. If you want to throw a little
- 12:47Speaker 1: money at us too, we will take that quickly. Before
- 12:50Speaker 1: we go to break Corey, we're going to tell you
- 12:52Speaker 1: who's attending the Queen's Christmas party. Pallis has said that
- 12:56Speaker 1: the nine year old monarch will be spending the holidays
- 12:59Speaker 1: that wins a castle. It's in West London. It's about
- 13:02Speaker 1: twenty minutes away from Buckingham Palace. She's stayed there for
- 13:05Speaker 1: most of the pandemic. The mistake everybody mix is they
- 13:09Speaker 1: think the Queen lives at Buckingham Palace. That is not truer.
- 13:13Speaker 1: That's where the offices are. Yes, she's got an apartment there. Yes,
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's the official residence for the King or the Queen.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But she actually prefers Windsor Castle. That's where she really
- 13:24Speaker 1: really feels at home. She's more of a country girl,
- 13:27Speaker 1: so she actually would rather be with her horses and
- 13:30Speaker 1: her dog is rather than in the center of London,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and so she's at Windsor Castle. Because of COVID now
- 13:36Speaker 1: their plans have changed significantly, as they have or should
- 13:40Speaker 1: be for lots of people in the United Kingdom. Fox
- 13:43Speaker 1: News is confirming that Prince Charles and his wife Camiller
- 13:45Speaker 1: will be there. Also to William and Kate, they'll be
- 13:49Speaker 1: joining the Queen with their children George, Charlotte and Louie. Also,
- 13:53Speaker 1: the Queen's son Edward and Sophie will be there. However,
- 13:57Speaker 1: Princess Anne will not be there because her husband, Sir
- 14:00Speaker 1: Timothy Lawrence, just tested positive for COVID nineteen. So really
- 14:05Speaker 1: it's going to be quite a small Christmas for the Queen.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. I don't think she's in the kitchen,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you know, wrestling up turkey. Yes, I don't think she's
- 14:14Speaker 1: I don't think she's doing so. They'll probably be staff
- 14:16Speaker 1: there too, but acquieter Christmas even for Queen a Elizabeth. Hey,
- 14:22Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 14:24Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Normalty. But nice,
- 14:30Speaker 1: am you? How strong she would have had? Dear friend
- 14:32Speaker 1: Corey Andrew from Instinct magazine dot com. Hey, Corey, let's
- 14:36Speaker 1: get to the polls that well, Thank you, darling. So
- 14:40Speaker 1: Megan Markle could be deposed in Prince Andrew's sex abuse case.
- 14:45Speaker 1: This is a crazy, crazy story. She's got nothing to
- 14:48Speaker 1: do with it. She barely I mean, she was not
- 14:51Speaker 1: around at the time. But she's here in America, so
- 14:53Speaker 1: it's easier to depose her than someone that's in Britain
- 14:57Speaker 1: because you can serve her papers easier. They're doing this
- 15:00Speaker 1: to humiliate the family. If you get deposed, you've got
- 15:03Speaker 1: to do it. You can't get around it. If you
- 15:06Speaker 1: get subpoena, you've got to do it. So Megan is
- 15:09Speaker 1: part of the family, so they can ask her about
- 15:12Speaker 1: her husband's uncle, although she's not going to know anything.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I don't think she does know him though, and she
- 15:19Speaker 1: knows his children and so she's not going to tell
- 15:21Speaker 1: him anything. But how embarrassing would this all be Megan
- 15:25Speaker 1: Marco getting deposed then you know they video it. You
- 15:27Speaker 1: know they would lead kids. This is also awful. You
- 15:31Speaker 1: know that Prince Andrew, he should stand up and take
- 15:34Speaker 1: responsibility for this because it's hurting everybody, the victims, Let's
- 15:39Speaker 1: not forget them even this is just awful. What do
- 15:42Speaker 1: you think about this? Should Megan answer questions for her
- 15:45Speaker 1: husband's uncle, Well, I'm surprised here percent said, yes, I say,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I know I'm not a word of the question. A
- 15:55Speaker 1: little odd, but yet fifty eight percent said yes she
- 15:58Speaker 1: should answer. Wow. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Go to at Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or
- 16:05Speaker 1: on Facebook page Naughty Gossip and check back on our
- 16:07Speaker 1: next show to hear your results. Now it's a fabulous everybody,
- 16:14Speaker 1: It's time for the nicest of the day. I went
- 16:22Speaker 1: up extra high. I had to go up extra high
- 16:25Speaker 1: all that one. Yes, well. Mariah Carry wore a gown
- 16:29Speaker 1: to McDonald's. Honey, I mean, could you just love She's
- 16:33Speaker 1: turn it into May West right in front of our eyes.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I love it. But Mariah Carry paid a visit to
- 16:38Speaker 1: a McDonald's location in Aspen to check out her new
- 16:41Speaker 1: Mariah menu, and she overdressed, of course, and a plunging
- 16:45Speaker 1: red gown covered with sparkling crystals plus matching heels. Now,
- 16:50Speaker 1: after hitting the drive through with her ten year old
- 16:52Speaker 1: twins Moroccan and Monroe, that all I want for Christmas
- 16:55Speaker 1: is you crooner, added a be dazzled face mask, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: made her way into the restaurant. She said, first of all,
- 17:01Speaker 1: this light is killing me, and she's says, I hope
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm not overdressed, and they were like, yeah, but you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: it's so funny. Someone in the crowd yells, you're not
- 17:12Speaker 1: overdressed your Maria. So it's really great. It's the Maria menu.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Someone yelled, so I love the story. I love Mariah Carrey.
- 17:20Speaker 1: The crazier she acts, the more I love her, and
- 17:23Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. There's video of it
- 17:24Speaker 1: on Laughty gossip dot com. Maria Carrie, I love it.
- 17:27Speaker 1: And she's been on the joke. I met her a
- 17:29Speaker 1: few times and she's in on the joke, and now
- 17:32Speaker 1: it's my friend the day, Sandra Bernhard is saying the
- 17:37Speaker 1: Madonna's relationships just don't last. So for a while, Sandra
- 17:41Speaker 1: and Madonna were the best of friends. However, she said
- 17:44Speaker 1: it was a real friendship, but it was hard for
- 17:47Speaker 1: somebody like Madonna to actually have a real friendship. She
- 17:50Speaker 1: went on to say that she didn't really want anyone
- 17:53Speaker 1: around her anymore who reflects who she is. You know,
- 17:56Speaker 1: when people change, they change who they are, they change
- 17:59Speaker 1: their fundamental stance of who they were growing up. Madonna's
- 18:03Speaker 1: done that and she doesn't want anybody around her now
- 18:06Speaker 1: that reminds her of that. And then she added there
- 18:08Speaker 1: for her relationships don't last. There was an star claimed
- 18:12Speaker 1: she made it crystal clear to Madonna that she wanted
- 18:15Speaker 1: a genuine friendship, and she said when they first started
- 18:18Speaker 1: to be friends, she really wanted to be real friends.
- 18:21Speaker 1: She didn't just want to be around this superstar. However,
- 18:24Speaker 1: over time that changed, and Sandra did say to the
- 18:28Speaker 1: intensity of being in the limelight like Madonna, there are
- 18:32Speaker 1: very few celebrities that are as famous as Madonna is
- 18:34Speaker 1: something that she didn't really feel comfortable with. This is wild,
- 18:39Speaker 1: isn't it. I would guess it's very very hard to
- 18:42Speaker 1: be friends with Madonna. But I gotta say to her.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I know people who know Sandra and say it's very
- 18:47Speaker 1: very hard to be friends with Sandra. Um, yeah, a
- 18:51Speaker 1: little bit be honest about I do, and um you know,
- 18:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest. Though she was wonderful to me,
- 18:57Speaker 1: kind to me, and actually very supportive of me as
- 19:00Speaker 1: an artist. So I love her I always will for that.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But you know, I know a little bit about that
- 19:04Speaker 1: relationship from the inside, and you know, Madonna and Ingrid
- 19:07Speaker 1: Cassara's were not um stellar in that demised friendship with
- 19:12Speaker 1: Sandra Bernhard. So I'll leave it at that, and people
- 19:14Speaker 1: can google get it. But you know there's a reason.
- 19:17Speaker 1: There's a reason for Yeah, there's always a reason, and
- 19:20Speaker 1: I try to make sure I'm not that reason. And so,
- 19:23Speaker 1: like I don't want to fall out with people. I
- 19:25Speaker 1: might not be able to be the friends you want.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I might not be able to be there all the time.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But it makes me sad that these two went from
- 19:33Speaker 1: being the best of friends, hanging out together, having so
- 19:35Speaker 1: much fun together to really I don't think they talk anymore.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Like it's it's not no, they don't at all, you know,
- 19:41Speaker 1: And Rob, you made a good point. Actually, Madonna, with
- 19:44Speaker 1: each incarnation, when she changes again, she's always reinvents and
- 19:48Speaker 1: with that comes new relationships and so she leaves the
- 19:50Speaker 1: old ones and that's just who she is. So I
- 19:52Speaker 1: think it's expectation. It's what people expect from her, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: that's really their own expectations that leave them falling. Shorty,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you go, we're expecting it. I don't know myself. Like
- 20:02Speaker 1: when I first arrived here in America, I wanted to
- 20:04Speaker 1: start over fresh. How many times have you said that
- 20:06Speaker 1: in your life? I remember when I left home to
- 20:08Speaker 1: go to university in Edinburgh, I wanted to start over fresh.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And it's very hard to do that and still have
- 20:15Speaker 1: roots in the past. And I was not that kind
- 20:17Speaker 1: to my family when I first went to Edinburgh because
- 20:20Speaker 1: I was ashamed of my working class roots. I didn't
- 20:23Speaker 1: want my new friends at university to know I was
- 20:25Speaker 1: a poor kid from Birmingham, England, and so for the
- 20:28Speaker 1: first couple of months of university I really didn't contact
- 20:32Speaker 1: my mom and dad as much as I should have
- 20:34Speaker 1: or now would have. And so even when I came
- 20:37Speaker 1: to America too, when I when I when I came
- 20:39Speaker 1: here and I thought I was just so fabulous and
- 20:42Speaker 1: so amazing in New York, a lot of my friends
- 20:46Speaker 1: from Britain would call me, and it took me a
- 20:48Speaker 1: little longer to return those calls. And I know why
- 20:50Speaker 1: I was doing it. It's the Madonna thing. I wanted
- 20:53Speaker 1: to move past my past. However, until you accept your past,
- 20:58Speaker 1: until you make peace with it, you can't make peace
- 21:01Speaker 1: with tomorrow. Absolutely, make me easy with it. We are
- 21:05Speaker 1: who we are, Embrace it, don't run from it. Hey,
- 21:09Speaker 1: that's it for today. Happy Christmas even everybody. Thank you
- 21:14Speaker 1: so much for sharing it with my good self and Corey,
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't forget to subscribe on the I heard radio app,
- 21:24Speaker 1: Apple podcast or wherever you listen. We're going to have
- 21:27Speaker 1: a great New Year together. I know we are. I
- 21:31Speaker 1: believe in us. Leave us a review if you can.
- 21:33Speaker 1: They really do help and remember all together. Now, let
- 21:37Speaker 1: me hear you singing out loud. I wanted to be
- 21:39Speaker 1: so loud, Corey. The Three Wise Men can hear us.
- 21:43Speaker 1: If you're going to be naughty, naughty to take care
- 21:49Speaker 1: of everybody, it's not even nice.
