The Wilson courthouse shooting just escalated—Abdul Karim Fadil Mustafa now faces four counts of attempted murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle after allegedly firing at a police car. Already charged by the sheriff’s office for shooting a deputy and a 19-year-old, LaToya Lucas, investigators suspect retaliation may be involved. Two more people, Terrie Covington and Ja’lexis Applewhite, were charged as accessories yesterday. Mustafa remains in custody without bond, set to appear before a judge tomorrow.
