Starting Sept 6, Dayton’s RTA unveils major bus route changes designed to boost access to jobs, healthcare, and daily essentials. New X12 connects downtown to Northwest Transit Center, replacing the retired North Community Connector. Route 6 gets a fresh path via Shroyer and Stroop to SR 48, while Route 12 shifts focus to Free Pike and Woodman Drive, skipping old loops. Route 17 expands into Centerville via Wilmington Pike and Clyo Road, rerouting away from SR 48 and using I-675 after 6:30 PM. Routes 28 and the North Community Connector are officially retired.
