Twenty years after the tragic Comair Flight 5191 crash that killed forty-nine people, the city is honoring the victims with a solemn memorial service at the Arboretum State Botanical Garden on August 27th at 1 PM. Featuring speeches from Mayor Linda Gorton, Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman, and representatives of the families, the event will also include local officials and dignitaries. A powerful seventeen-foot dove sculpture stands as a permanent tribute to those lost.
