Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty five Whistle stuck in
- 0:07Speaker 1: football and they are were a whistle so yet it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: too bad? But what did you expect? It's a podcast
- 0:14Speaker 1: called twenty five Whistles, twenty wine wheel.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Pretty good whistle. I don't can you today that I'll
- 0:23Speaker 2: have to do. We're about to do twenty five losers.
- 0:29Speaker 2: It's like when Arkle was on Full House. They did
- 0:32Speaker 2: one of those crossover episodes so to be us to
- 0:35Speaker 2: have whistles and sore losers and it got weird. It
- 0:39Speaker 2: started off semi strong and then it got really weird
- 0:41Speaker 2: by the end. But what do we expect? You know,
- 0:43Speaker 2: that's coming up in a second almost new year. Top
- 0:46Speaker 2: ten Sports stories of twenty twenty four. This is from
- 0:49Speaker 2: NBC Sports at number ten. Raff and Andy Murray both
- 0:52Speaker 2: retired from tennis. As a tennis guy for a little
- 0:57Speaker 2: bit because I traveled a bit with Andy. We'd go
- 1:00Speaker 2: to events and you know, I went to the US Open,
- 1:03Speaker 2: one of the best friends. I don't feel like Andy
- 1:07Speaker 2: Murray is the same as Raff and the doll no
- 1:11Speaker 2: great in that second tier of all timers. You know,
- 1:14Speaker 2: the first tier of all timers is Raf and Federer
- 1:18Speaker 2: and Djokovic obviously, and the second tier still massive would
- 1:22Speaker 2: be like the Murray's Erotics America Tennis Roddicks number is
- 1:25Speaker 2: the highest, yeah, agasy, yeah and yeah, but second tier, Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 2: there's other three were like at one point all three
- 1:32Speaker 2: of those guys were the greatest of all time. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I'm still a big deal in tennis, I guess, but yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 2: right to me and Andy Murray. Not the same. But
- 1:42Speaker 2: what the heck do I know about tennis? I have
- 1:43Speaker 2: a little bit of knowledge that all got squeezed in
- 1:46Speaker 2: at about a four year period, but still not the same. Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Number nine, the Dodgers won the World Series. Mhm. I
- 1:56Speaker 2: guess it's a big story whoever wins the World Series.
- 1:58Speaker 2: But just because it's Los Angeles, that's that's the story.
- 2:01Speaker 2: And it's the Dodgers, one of the big namesake teams
- 2:03Speaker 2: in Otani and lots of stuff. But I mean they
- 2:06Speaker 2: did pay a lot for that, I mean.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yeah, And it wasn't no surprise, There was no fun run.
- 2:11Speaker 3: It was kind of like, oh they won.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Cool, heck of a story. Good for Otani. Yeah that
- 2:14Speaker 2: was cool. Yeah, he goes over and wins. He was
- 2:16Speaker 2: never gonna win with the Angels No. Number eight. Michigan
- 2:19Speaker 2: wins national championship for different reasons. That was a big
- 2:22Speaker 2: story Harball. He ended up leaving afterward. He finally got
- 2:26Speaker 2: it the Connor Stallions recording. Other teams got caught. Other
- 2:30Speaker 2: teams do it, okay, whatever, but they haven't been caught.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That was cool.
- 2:35Speaker 2: First time since nineteen forty eight, like outright national championship.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I think they split one ninety seven. I think that
- 2:43Speaker 2: was before they did the overall number one. I think
- 2:45Speaker 2: they had ninety. I think that's the case where they're
- 2:48Speaker 2: they were like ap and somebody else's coaches something like that.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But I think since like nineteen forty eight, you can
- 2:54Speaker 2: hit me on this, I think they were the first
- 2:56Speaker 2: time they that was the one they won by themselves.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It was weird.
- 2:58Speaker 2: They had two champions with two diferent grees, by the way,
- 3:00Speaker 2: and also they used to get the championship away sometimes
- 3:02Speaker 2: the teams before their bowl games, and then the team
- 3:04Speaker 2: would lose a bowl game after and be like, wait,
- 3:07Speaker 2: that was like the sixties, how they do that?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Crap?
- 3:08Speaker 3: It was ninety seven?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Was it? Ohio?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Who were the two champions? I'll keep going Number seven
- 3:16Speaker 2: the Boston Celtics win the NBA Championship. That's Kevin's team, right,
- 3:19Speaker 2: won the eighteenth title beat the Mavericks. Tatum finished with
- 3:24Speaker 2: thirty one points and the clincher of But Tatum did
- 3:26Speaker 2: not win the MVP, although he was he is the
- 3:28Speaker 2: best player on the team. That's kind of hilarious.
- 3:29Speaker 3: But Talem Brown went crazy Eastern Conference finals and the.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Finals, you go crazy. What do you see about Michigan Nebraska?
- 3:37Speaker 2: I don't know, I know, I don't know.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Yes, ap pole was Michigan. Coach's poll was Nebraska?
- 3:42Speaker 2: And was it flipped on both or they were both
- 3:44Speaker 2: the number two and the other one because the Rose
- 3:47Speaker 2: Bull would like have to take the Big ten and
- 3:51Speaker 2: the Pac twelve, and so sometimes one and two couldn't
- 3:54Speaker 2: even play each other because of their obligations conference to
- 3:56Speaker 2: the school or to the bowl.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because this even says the champion is Nebraska, and
- 4:01Speaker 3: then the other website says Michigan is a champion.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Crazy. Yeah, that's over seven. Number six. The Olympics in Paris. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of my thoughts on the Olympics. Fine,
- 4:12Speaker 2: it was pretty good. The time thing was the time
- 4:15Speaker 2: thing is weird. It's difficult for us when things aren't
- 4:17Speaker 2: live live.
- 4:18Speaker 3: But was there, Like I'm trying to think of one
- 4:20Speaker 3: event or something that I watch that I remember right
- 4:23Speaker 3: away and one hundred yep.
- 4:24Speaker 2: That's why I can say, no, this printer yeah, because
- 4:28Speaker 2: he was yeah, yeah, but even then. Yeah. Number five,
- 4:33Speaker 2: which I would put at number one, is because this
- 4:37Speaker 2: is from NBC Kaitlin Clarke being freaking dominant, changing the
- 4:39Speaker 2: game of basketball and women's sports and creating tension within
- 4:43Speaker 2: her own sport, not by anything she said or an
- 4:47Speaker 2: action she had other than just being awesome and also
- 4:49Speaker 2: starting off the year and people be like, well, look
- 4:51Speaker 2: she's uprat because she didn't start super high, because she
- 4:53Speaker 2: came right off of the season in Iowa. Because and
- 4:55Speaker 2: then after the break when she had a little time,
- 4:59Speaker 2: like dude, she's awesome.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I think she finished like second MVP, maybe second or
- 5:03Speaker 2: third top three, did win Rookie of the Year again
- 5:07Speaker 2: going for memory here, but she did set the three
- 5:10Speaker 2: pointer record single season, yes, again in the same year
- 5:16Speaker 2: she played at Iowa. So Caitlin Clark number five. Otani's
- 5:22Speaker 2: gambling scandal at number four, Like this is like Epstein
- 5:26Speaker 2: killed himself.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, we know, like come on, yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Like we may not know exactly and we probably don't
- 5:35Speaker 2: because we don't know exactly anything, but you're gonna tell
- 5:37Speaker 2: me Otani didn't know any that was going on. Yeah,
- 5:39Speaker 2: that's a lot, a lot, it's a lot happening. A
- 5:42Speaker 2: guy is super cool and again some stuff may and
- 5:45Speaker 2: Epstein may have killed himself. M hm, a lot of
- 5:48Speaker 2: stuff surrounding that. And think about that. If O Tonic
- 5:51Speaker 2: is out, baseball loses their biggest star. Yeah, when baseball
- 5:54Speaker 2: is struggling.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's funny. How at the end of the year,
- 5:57Speaker 3: like you, you completely forgot that that was even a story.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yep, what I bet it would be a story. I
- 6:01Speaker 2: lost that money.
- 6:04Speaker 3: I know, maybe next year.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Number three, Lebron James reaches forty thousand points in
- 6:07Speaker 2: the NBA. Lebron James set any record for the NBA
- 6:10Speaker 2: When he scored his forty thousands point I thought it
- 6:12Speaker 2: was a bigger deal. Also, it was the same year,
- 6:14Speaker 2: so it counts. No, I guess this is your twenty
- 6:17Speaker 2: twenty three. I thought a bigger deal when he beat
- 6:19Speaker 2: Kareem's record, because he did beat it. I get forty thousand.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It's something somewhere that no one's been. But that number
- 6:25Speaker 2: just doesn't really resonate with people. Yeah, because it's not
- 6:28Speaker 2: like something that people hold out like Kareem has thirty
- 6:31Speaker 2: hundred and eighty six points. We can't wait. We're sixty
- 6:33Speaker 2: one home runs Roger Maris ninety sixty one. When that
- 6:35Speaker 2: was beat that was a big deal when somebody hit seventy,
- 6:37Speaker 2: because it's a weird thing. Yeah, nobody ever goes no One.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I wonder who's gonna hit forwty thousand first?
- 6:42Speaker 1: But big deal.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Number two. Can't City Chiefs win third Super Bowl in
- 6:46Speaker 2: five years?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yes?
- 6:48Speaker 2: Because they are now a one to dynasty dynasty dynasty,
- 6:56Speaker 2: that's right, So Chiefs are dominant. And then number one,
- 7:00Speaker 2: do you know the answer? Top ten sports starts of
- 7:04Speaker 2: twenty twenty four? Do you know if you know the answer,
- 7:06Speaker 2: don't say if you've seen it, don't say it.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I mean, let me think twenty twenty four. Oh no,
- 7:17Speaker 3: that was twenty three.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Take a guess. Are you gonna Penalijah? I'm gonna lose
- 7:21Speaker 2: your money.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I know I was gonna say that Taylor Swift and
- 7:24Speaker 3: that sports related but that was twenty.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Three where that really popped off.
- 7:28Speaker 2: So you want to hitt.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say, can you give a hit?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Do you have an answer at all? No, it's kind
- 7:40Speaker 2: of stupid. We got very excited about it and then
- 7:45Speaker 2: it was kind of stupid, but it still broke records.
- 7:55Speaker 2: At some point during it, you might have even started
- 7:57Speaker 2: to feel guilty for one of the parties.
- 8:02Speaker 3: This political thing.
- 8:05Speaker 2: There were only consisted of two people. Oh yeah, it
- 8:12Speaker 2: was it, Mike Tyson. Oh my gosh, Jake Paul, Mike Tyson,
- 8:16Speaker 2: most stream sporting event in history, one hundred million peoples
- 8:19Speaker 2: tuned in's job is because of the record, because of
- 8:23Speaker 2: the most stream sporting event ever, and that was it.
- 8:25Speaker 3: So yeah, I guess your hints were pretty spot on too, Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 3: because you know, one thinks that would be the number
- 8:29Speaker 3: one answer, and that wasn't even that long ago.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I was like, I know February sorry from Mike Tyson
- 8:33Speaker 2: was happening. I was like, oh, okay, so do a
- 8:36Speaker 2: quick break, come back, and we will get to our
- 8:38Speaker 2: episode of twenty five losers or sore whistles, although sore
- 8:42Speaker 2: whistles feels like some sort of STD. So twenty five losers,
- 8:47Speaker 2: Thank you. I originally went to Ray. I was like, hey,
- 8:56Speaker 2: like four in the morning. It was like radio and
- 8:58Speaker 2: do a joint episode, and Ray's like, yeah, sure, and
- 9:02Speaker 2: here we are. We turned off all the screens so
- 9:05Speaker 2: it wasn't reflective of either one of our shows, either
- 9:08Speaker 2: Sored Losers or twenty five Whistles. So this is like
- 9:11Speaker 2: when I Ran and Switzerland meet at the table of
- 9:15Speaker 2: a different country and they have to have everything has
- 9:17Speaker 2: to be exactly the same. So everybody feels even. And
- 9:22Speaker 2: the only I feel like we've negotiated the terms Ray
- 9:25Speaker 2: and I ahead of time. The only thing is you
- 9:29Speaker 2: have to bring something to the table. We'll panel it
- 9:32Speaker 2: and everybody around the room will.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Answer, oh interesting.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And raymundo, you get to start, okay, because well you
- 9:39Speaker 2: and I were the ones who thought of this. You
- 9:40Speaker 2: guys are are ambassadors. I guess Ray was just here
- 9:43Speaker 2: when I was here. We were early in the morning.
- 9:44Speaker 2: There was nothing to it except for Ray and I
- 9:46Speaker 2: talking before anybody else got to work.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Ok good.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so Ray, So as long as it's not super timely,
- 9:50Speaker 2: because this is going to be from when we record
- 9:53Speaker 2: when we air it, people could die, so know that, correct.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay, Ray, it's on you.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Yeah, this has been bothering me for a while, and
- 9:59Speaker 5: I can't really talk to Long Bunchbox about it because
- 10:00Speaker 5: it's awkward because it's just me and him on the show.
- 10:02Speaker 5: But so he'll bring to the show his soccer stories,
- 10:06Speaker 5: which is fine. He can't really talk about it on
- 10:07Speaker 5: the Bobby Bone Show because it's not that interesting for
- 10:10Speaker 5: our audience. People in there, you know, driving to school
- 10:13Speaker 5: with soccer moms. So he'll tell his soccer stories and
- 10:16Speaker 5: it's fine. I hear the soccer story. That's all great.
- 10:18Speaker 5: And then I got my buddy South Beach. He goes, hey, man,
- 10:20Speaker 5: you got to get in on this Premier League bet
- 10:23Speaker 5: Chelsea to be the top two at the end of
- 10:24Speaker 5: the season.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It ends in May. Man, you could make two thousand.
- 10:28Speaker 5: So I got lunches stories, I got South Beach tell
- 10:30Speaker 5: me to get in on this bet.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And then I get an.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Email Nashville sc wants me to be a season ticket
- 10:37Speaker 5: holder for four hundred and fifty dollars.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Wow, that's not bad.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So cheap tickets.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:41Speaker 5: My question to y'all is this the universe is telling
- 10:44Speaker 5: me I need to be into soccer.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I just don't give a dang we'll.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Go around the room now and we'll go in the
- 10:50Speaker 2: order we're sitting, Eddie.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I will say that I went to my first soccer game,
- 10:55Speaker 4: the Nashville SCS that Is Soccer Club two years ago
- 11:00Speaker 4: and I loved it. I'm not a soccer guy. I'm Hispanic,
- 11:03Speaker 4: but never been a soccer guy. It's like back home,
- 11:07Speaker 4: you would turn on the TV, like on Sunday morning
- 11:09Speaker 4: and it would be a Mexican soccer.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Game, like that was just part of our life. That's
- 11:12Speaker 2: you're back home totally. But I know Mexicano games in Arkansas,
- 11:16Speaker 2: it'd be in my home. I wouldn't watch it. I'm
- 11:18Speaker 2: like you, Ray never cared about it.
- 11:20Speaker 4: But when I went to that game, it was awesome,
- 11:23Speaker 4: like pure energy the entire match, like them running back
- 11:30Speaker 4: and forth and the strategy of passing the ball, trying
- 11:33Speaker 4: to move that ball down the field andlaing us now,
- 11:38Speaker 4: and then the guy comes and slides like right in
- 11:41Speaker 4: front of you while you're.
- 11:41Speaker 1: In the same best feeling ever is if they slide
- 11:43Speaker 1: right where you are. It's like, that is the coolest thing.
- 11:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you something, boys, it's awesome when you
- 11:48Speaker 4: see it live.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So what is your advice to him.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Get the season tickets for that cheap.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Five hundred bucks. You're gonna have to be actually be
- 11:56Speaker 2: a real fan.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Yeah, there's thirty games, so maybe it's ends up being
- 11:59Speaker 5: twenty five dollars apiece if I did the math correctly.
- 12:02Speaker 2: So I would say, too, they're not gonna be that
- 12:03Speaker 2: good of seats. That's probably the lowest, and you're not
- 12:06Speaker 2: a diehard, I would say avoid. Soccer's fine, there's the
- 12:11Speaker 2: reason the most popular sport in the world. I'm sure
- 12:13Speaker 2: you been doing. Yeah, of course you have.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, now weird.
- 12:17Speaker 2: To watch us play Cincinnati. They have a team f
- 12:19Speaker 2: C Sincati not the thing, but I do. I do
- 12:29Speaker 2: respect it. It's it's the biggest port in the world
- 12:30Speaker 2: for a reason. It's really exciting, and I think when
- 12:32Speaker 2: people are like, man, it's so slow. No, there's people
- 12:34Speaker 2: are running like crazy. But just spend five hundred bucks
- 12:37Speaker 2: on season tickets when you're not a fan of something,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and then your seats aren't going to be that good.
- 12:41Speaker 2: If someone want to give you like ten thousand dollars
- 12:42Speaker 2: season tickets, I'll be like, dude, take those because you
- 12:45Speaker 2: have good seats and you're a fan.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That's this guy over here.
- 12:49Speaker 2: But you got to be a fan to be a
- 12:51Speaker 2: season ticket holder unless you can sell them every week,
- 12:55Speaker 2: and then that's just a pain in the butt. I'd
- 12:57Speaker 2: say avoid, keep your money. Find one of those. You're
- 13:01Speaker 2: a gaying cricket leagues, you bet on it one in
- 13:04Speaker 2: the morning. Focus on that. Because I feel like soccer
- 13:07Speaker 2: for you or for me, it's fine. Respect. It didn't
- 13:12Speaker 2: grow up with it, so I don't love it. That'd
- 13:14Speaker 2: be a waste of money.
- 13:15Speaker 5: And if you guys are looking for the home games,
- 13:17Speaker 5: you know how you when you see a football game,
- 13:18Speaker 5: the team on the right is the home team.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You always see a score okay on the field, okay, right?
- 13:25Speaker 5: Not a soccer guy, so go ahead to the bottom line,
- 13:27Speaker 5: or if ESPN does a score, it's always a team
- 13:28Speaker 5: on the bottom.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Or the team on the right was the home team?
- 13:31Speaker 4: Right?
- 13:31Speaker 5: In soccer, guys, get ready, team on the left right home?
- 13:34Speaker 5: Oh god day, can you adjust to that way?
- 13:38Speaker 3: What about the team on the top of the scoreboards
- 13:40Speaker 3: like that? Are that home?
- 13:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't either that one.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Just get with everyone.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Is there a color jersey thing in soccer? Lunch box
- 13:46Speaker 2: to home jersey? Where home team was dark, other teams white.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Oh that's a good question. No, because sometimes national I'll
- 13:51Speaker 1: see where's their yellow jerseys? At home? Sometimes they wear
- 13:54Speaker 1: their black jerseys. So I don't know how they I
- 13:55Speaker 1: don't know if the like opposing team gets to pick
- 13:58Speaker 1: which jersey they're gonna wear, or if the home team
- 14:00Speaker 1: gets to tell you what color they're wearing and then
- 14:02Speaker 1: you adjust. I'm not sure how that works. But yellow
- 14:04Speaker 1: is not white, right? Maybe do they have a white jersey?
- 14:08Speaker 2: They were on the road and yellow is actually a
- 14:10Speaker 2: primary color like in sports, home team was one.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You know, I don't think they have a white jersey.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You don't, not that I can remember. When I watch them,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't think so, because like MESSI they
- 14:18Speaker 1: had with Miami, they have a pink jersey and like
- 14:21Speaker 1: a black jersey. So I don't know how they determine
- 14:24Speaker 1: what they're wearing.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I bet you Reid could google us how they decide
- 14:28Speaker 2: what jersey to wear? Not euro League? Do what is
- 14:33Speaker 2: our league called?
- 14:34Speaker 5: Oh?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Oh no, we're not, We're not America. We take the
- 14:39Speaker 1: leftover from Premiere when they're on their way down and
- 14:41Speaker 1: they come over to MLS.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Got it?
- 14:43Speaker 2: Got it. I'm gonna go pass them the five hundred bucks.
- 14:45Speaker 2: The Seatson gonna be good anyway, and you're not a superman, Kevin.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna say the same, but for a different reason.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I went to one game with Box. I think last
- 14:51Speaker 3: year we saw MESSI shout out Box, I was awesome
- 14:53Speaker 3: you went to that game. Yeah, it was cool. He
- 14:54Speaker 3: had a couple of ex Chickenys like want to come.
- 14:55Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, it was great. It was awesome messies.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I mean, he just toys with people out there. But
- 15:00Speaker 3: the reason I'm going to say no is because the
- 15:01Speaker 3: parking situation at Jodas is a nightmare. You have to
- 15:05Speaker 3: park so far and if you park close then you
- 15:07Speaker 3: just sit in traffic for an hour going out, and
- 15:10Speaker 3: so after like three games, you just get over it.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I'd like to say on that I like football. I
- 15:14Speaker 2: don't go to a Titans game because it's traffic because
- 15:16Speaker 2: I and suck and I love football and I love soccer.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I'm I dealing with of a sport I love, yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 2: and a team. I'm like six out of ten like
- 15:24Speaker 2: because of traffic, ain't no chance.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Same with concerts at Nissan, same thing. It's a night.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I mean, you better know that you're in for a
- 15:31Speaker 3: long night.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Any yeah, yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Do you get parking though with the season tickets, because
- 15:36Speaker 4: that's game changer for five hundred bucks, probably not have
- 15:38Speaker 4: your bike.
- 15:39Speaker 1: No, you don't get parking. You can buy a season
- 15:41Speaker 1: ticket parking pass to park on the grounds, but however
- 15:45Speaker 1: long you've been a season ticket member, that's priority, and
- 15:47Speaker 1: sometimes they sell out. And I'm going to tell you
- 15:49Speaker 1: the first few games we went to is a nightmare
- 15:51Speaker 1: to park because you park on the lot or wherever
- 15:53Speaker 1: on the stadium, they make you park on the racetrack.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Take us two hours to get out. It was terrible.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Then one time we didn't get a parking pass, so
- 16:00Speaker 1: we just drove. We parked in someone's backyard for thirty bucks.
- 16:03Speaker 1: We were out of there and on the highway in
- 16:05Speaker 1: six minutes. It's absolutely easy once you get it down.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Hey man, thirty bucks a game though, dude, that's more
- 16:11Speaker 2: than tickets.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Well, and then you also get access to the messy
- 16:14Speaker 5: game what Kevin talked about.
- 16:16Speaker 1: That's the one you really want to go.
- 16:17Speaker 2: But does that even happen?
- 16:18Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think that's guaranteed.
- 16:19Speaker 2: That's like you get the play game, good luck and
- 16:21Speaker 2: coming back?
- 16:22Speaker 3: What if they what load management? Load management? He doesn't play?
- 16:26Speaker 2: They did happen in Canada? I saw that crap.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Well, he does not play on turf field. So a
- 16:30Speaker 1: lot of places that have turf fields they get screwed
- 16:33Speaker 1: because people pay a lot of money for the tickets
- 16:35Speaker 1: and they're like, where's Messi? Yeah, and they it's but
- 16:38Speaker 1: you know, yeah, that's like buying hawk to a coin.
- 16:41Speaker 1: H what do you think is going to do? If
- 16:43Speaker 1: you buy turf tickets, you can look ahead of times,
- 16:44Speaker 1: so he's not going to play there, Like what do
- 16:45Speaker 1: you think?
- 16:46Speaker 4: Then don't buy it.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I don't feel Baptist people anymore if they knew he
- 16:48Speaker 2: wasn't playing on TIS.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I kind of scammed some people this summer because
- 16:54Speaker 1: he speaking of Hawk tool Miami was coming to Nashville,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I knew that Messi was playing for Argentina during
- 17:01Speaker 1: that window. It was an international window where they had
- 17:03Speaker 1: international games. But the average fan doesn't know that. They think,
- 17:07Speaker 1: oh Messi, they see Miami Messi. So I put my
- 17:10Speaker 1: tickets up for like three hundred dollars A pop boom
- 17:12Speaker 1: sold them.
- 17:13Speaker 2: But you do see Beckham though, right, got the casual.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Does he come He didn't play, though, dude not. But
- 17:18Speaker 2: he goes to the game watching executive. You want to
- 17:20Speaker 2: go how binoculars and you look up in a suite,
- 17:22Speaker 2: he may be there.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I wouldn't be.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Guys, when you go to a game and you know
- 17:26Speaker 4: Romo and lances up there, you're not like where are
- 17:29Speaker 4: they at?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Or split second? Nobody buys a ticket to go watch
- 17:32Speaker 2: an executive.
- 17:32Speaker 4: No, no, you don't buy two. But that's pretty cool
- 17:34Speaker 4: to see, like David Beckham when I see like on
- 17:36Speaker 4: TikTok he walks on the field afterwards.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 17:38Speaker 2: We go buy ticket to do that?
- 17:39Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, definitely not, definitely not.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Okay, that's our advice. Ray, thank you. I don't know
- 17:44Speaker 2: who's you're taking.
- 17:45Speaker 4: You're gonna do it.
- 17:46Speaker 2: You're not a soccer guy, though.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Well, this guy always throws around.
- 17:49Speaker 5: I'm a season ticket holder, so I kind of want
- 17:51Speaker 5: to be a stakeholder too.
- 17:52Speaker 2: It is a thing.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It is a flex.
- 17:54Speaker 2: You just have season tickets, okay, Eddie.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so I saw like a while back, I'm on Rock,
- 18:03Speaker 4: I'm on Rob the same brown. He was talking about
- 18:07Speaker 4: how when he played in the Bills game. He was really,
- 18:10Speaker 4: really sick and he threw up, and it was the
- 18:13Speaker 4: interview was crazy because he said, I've never thrown up before.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Oh really, he's in his twenties, Seinfeld and he said
- 18:19Speaker 4: he's never thrown up before, which I thought was bizarre,
- 18:22Speaker 4: Like Jerry Seinfeld didn't throw up.
- 18:23Speaker 1: There's a episode on that how I did watch, But dude,
- 18:27Speaker 1: do twelve.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Shut my desk sits that direction?
- 18:31Speaker 1: That's true.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I think there's a whole episode on that.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Would you google that how He's never thrown up?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so that is very rare, but continue on so rare.
- 18:38Speaker 4: So I want to ask you guys, like, what's the
- 18:40Speaker 4: craziest throw up story that you've ever Yeah, because my
- 18:46Speaker 4: I'll start with mine. Mine was crazy, Dude. I was
- 18:48Speaker 4: home for Christmas. I didn't seen my friends for a while.
- 18:50Speaker 4: This is like when we were in college and we
- 18:52Speaker 4: went out, we partied hard, came home the next came
- 18:56Speaker 4: home that night, and I woke up at four in
- 18:59Speaker 4: the morning and it felt like it was in swimming pool. Oh,
- 19:02Speaker 4: it was so bad. And my parents were just like
- 19:04Speaker 4: they were so sweet about it, helping me like get
- 19:07Speaker 4: in the shower and everything. But that's the craziest Heck, dude,
- 19:11Speaker 4: that was nuts and I don't remember doing it.
- 19:12Speaker 2: You feel so happy about that is the weird part.
- 19:14Speaker 2: It's like, I can't wait to time.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 5: So apparently Jerry has a streak of thirteen years without vomiting.
- 19:21Speaker 1: So that's what they said.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Wow, thirteen years of that and I can't wait.
- 19:24Speaker 5: He's never got the flu, like as a kid, he
- 19:26Speaker 5: never got sick, but didn't vomit. Could you poop? Saying,
- 19:29Speaker 5: you know, as your body getting rid of stuff. I
- 19:31Speaker 5: have to think because I don't have a drink, I
- 19:33Speaker 5: don't have to throw up. Story other than getting come
- 19:37Speaker 5: back to me, Kevin.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, mine's probably gonna be. When I was in high school,
- 19:41Speaker 3: we got we got in trouble, me and two other
- 19:45Speaker 3: players on the football team. This is in springball though,
- 19:48Speaker 3: and our coach made us come in on a Saturday morning.
- 19:50Speaker 3: He was like, he kicked us out of practice that
- 19:52Speaker 3: day and he's like, you by her come back on
- 19:54Speaker 3: Saturday morning. We're like, yeah, whatever. So we went out
- 19:55Speaker 3: in party Friday night and we came so hung over
- 19:58Speaker 3: on Friday and he made us run laps around the
- 20:00Speaker 3: track and all we were doing after I think one
- 20:02Speaker 3: or two lots, so just throwing up. And I remember
- 20:04Speaker 3: is captain Captain Morgan and I've never d of the team.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Was like, you still him as captain? That's cool, but
- 20:14Speaker 1: that was rough.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I hated that, hated that have didn't drink Captain Morgan.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Since I have mine, I wrote about it my book
- 20:21Speaker 2: Fell Until You Don't. We were playing Million Dollar Show
- 20:23Speaker 2: and it was a night Garth was playing with us,
- 20:25Speaker 2: and all we have, all these massive acts that are playing.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I was so sick that day too. I could go
- 20:29Speaker 2: to the Minute Clinic or the whatever that's called. They
- 20:33Speaker 2: have eight or nine different names for those peaces and
- 20:34Speaker 2: I get it steroids, hick or whatever, and all driving.
- 20:37Speaker 2: And I didn't go to sound check because I remember
- 20:39Speaker 2: the band Perry did sound check and these guys had
- 20:41Speaker 2: like funny stories about the band period sound checking because
- 20:44Speaker 2: in a peculiar way, and are you ready like all
- 20:48Speaker 2: these things, I don't even know because I wasn't there,
- 20:50Speaker 2: and so I met all sound to miss everything and
- 20:52Speaker 2: it was like ten minutes told the show store. I
- 20:53Speaker 2: was vomiting like crazy outside the Ryman and I vomited, vomited.
- 20:59Speaker 2: There was nothing after you know how you vomited. There's
- 21:00Speaker 2: nothing more, it's just oh yeah, yeah heaving what they
- 21:05Speaker 2: h and so it just got to a heave. So
- 21:07Speaker 2: once I knew it was a heave, went out and
- 21:10Speaker 2: did the whole show, and you know, only heaved twice
- 21:13Speaker 2: during the show. But I turned my back. I was like, oh,
- 21:15Speaker 2: thank God. And then we just back up and keep going.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I wrote it, I forgot. I wrote about that, but
- 21:19Speaker 2: it's not a It was vomiting all up until that point,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and then there was empty. There's nothing left. My body
- 21:25Speaker 2: still wanted to get That was what was weird about
- 21:26Speaker 2: the human body. Why are you trying to get rid
- 21:28Speaker 2: of something you don't even have? More like if there's
- 21:30Speaker 2: something bad in there in your body? Did the whole show,
- 21:35Speaker 2: Garth finished. Then show was over. I went back home.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It was six for like three days. But I thank
- 21:39Speaker 2: the Good Lord above because I think he got me
- 21:41Speaker 2: through it. I wasn't drunk, though it's a terrible feeling,
- 21:44Speaker 2: terrible feeling lunchbocks. Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 1: See, when I drink, I don't throw up. I for
- 21:48Speaker 1: some reason, could drink a lot, never threw up. So
- 21:50Speaker 1: I'll take you back to when I was nine years old,
- 21:52Speaker 1: and I'd been sick for like four days and I
- 21:54Speaker 1: was finally feeling better and my mom I was like,
- 21:56Speaker 1: can I have AJ spin the night. She's like, yeah,
- 21:59Speaker 1: a J can spin them. You know your fever's gone,
- 22:01Speaker 1: no problem. So AJ spends the night, and I guess
- 22:04Speaker 1: I woke up in the middle of the night and
- 22:06Speaker 1: I had puked on my bedroom wall because when I
- 22:09Speaker 1: woke up, it was just coming down the wall in
- 22:11Speaker 1: the morning, like it was just like a big old
- 22:12Speaker 1: black and that's one of my memories of throwing up.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I was like, how did I wake up onto the
- 22:18Speaker 1: wall and go back to sleep as a nine year old?
- 22:20Speaker 1: And AJ was sleeping in the bed right next to me,
- 22:22Speaker 1: and I was like, huh, that's so weird and didn't know.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Didn't know.
- 22:25Speaker 2: It sounds like you were blacked out, Yeah, drunk on
- 22:28Speaker 2: gummy Bear but not drinking.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah. But the worst is when I pass out, like
- 22:31Speaker 1: because usually now I pass out when I throw up,
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm like, every time, even if you're sick, yeah, unconscious.
- 22:37Speaker 2: So if you throw up every time, even if you're sick,
- 22:39Speaker 2: you pass out, it doesn't matter.
- 22:40Speaker 1: No, No, I don't. I've never no.
- 22:42Speaker 2: No, only when I'm sick, like when I'm sick, I
- 22:44Speaker 2: thought you just normally didn't. So you never throw up drunk. No,
- 22:48Speaker 2: but if you do throw up, now you pass.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Out it pass out, lights out, find me on the
- 22:52Speaker 1: bathroom floor.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Do you know when it's coming?
- 22:54Speaker 4: Uh?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Sometimes have you ever had it coming? You not know
- 22:56Speaker 2: it is coming in and all of a sudden you
- 22:57Speaker 2: passed out somewhere.
- 22:58Speaker 1: A lot of times I woke like I mean when
- 23:01Speaker 1: I mean five years ago, I got a bug and
- 23:04Speaker 1: my wife got a bug, and I was downstairs upstairs,
- 23:07Speaker 1: she was downstairs, and I went to the bathroom and
- 23:10Speaker 1: I was over the toilet and the next thing I
- 23:13Speaker 1: did is I woke up and I was laying in
- 23:14Speaker 1: my vomit on the ground and I was like, oh
- 23:17Speaker 1: that was weird. I passed out again, and I did
- 23:19Speaker 1: it again, and then I was laying on the couch
- 23:22Speaker 1: and I was like, oh my gosh, I'm gonna throw up.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And I started walking to the bathroom and I felt myself.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I was like, I'm going to pass out, and I
- 23:28Speaker 1: tried to grab the like molding the doorframe and I
- 23:33Speaker 1: didn't make it, and I woke up to my wife
- 23:35Speaker 1: shaking me. I had fallen down. My head was against
- 23:37Speaker 1: the wall, and I was just passed out. And then
- 23:39Speaker 1: I crawled to the bathroom and vomited in the toilet.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And that's why I went to the yr.
- 23:43Speaker 2: That nine year old thing is that happened to you
- 23:45Speaker 2: without you ever knowing it was going to happen the
- 23:46Speaker 2: rest of your life, Like you're passed out and vomited. No,
- 23:49Speaker 2: that wasn't at nine years old when you didn't know it.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Do you don't think that was just passing out before
- 23:52Speaker 2: you vomited and just not remembering.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I mean, now you say I never even thought about that,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I mean.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That was the first time that happened, because that's been
- 23:57Speaker 2: happening in your whole life. You just didn't know because
- 24:00Speaker 2: it hadn't happened yet.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah. So now now I build a fort like around
- 24:05Speaker 1: the toilet or the bathtub, and I put blankets or towels,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and I make it so that way if I fall over,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm falling onto something soft instead of just boom. And
- 24:14Speaker 1: I have to wake my wife up if I know
- 24:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw up. That way she can wake me
- 24:18Speaker 1: up from being passed out like the other day, she
- 24:20Speaker 1: I mean months ago, but I passed out and my
- 24:22Speaker 1: hand was in the toilet and my head was on
- 24:24Speaker 1: the floor.
- 24:25Speaker 2: You basically need a puke in a bounty house until
- 24:27Speaker 2: you live.
- 24:28Speaker 4: That's crazy. He has to prepare for it, like I'm
- 24:30Speaker 4: about to throw up. Let me get my little ten here.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Why do what happened to your body where you're just
- 24:34Speaker 2: like out?
- 24:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I went to the er that won
- 24:36Speaker 1: five years ago and they did an EKG and all that,
- 24:38Speaker 1: but they said I was good. They couldn't figure out
- 24:40Speaker 1: what was wrong with me, but they gave me.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Do you remember ever act? Do you ever see it
- 24:44Speaker 2: come out of your mouth? Have you ever seen throw
- 24:46Speaker 2: up come out of your mouth? Yes, I've seen it,
- 24:49Speaker 2: like I never when I was a year awake for that. Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 2: afterwards you passed it in the middle of throwing up.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I pass out, so you're probably throwing up some while
- 24:57Speaker 2: you're out.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, because I've woken up where I'm just laying in
- 24:59Speaker 1: my throat up. It's pretty intense, man, It's scary.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I'd like to see it.
- 25:04Speaker 1: And that's why I'm like, I am so glad I
- 25:07Speaker 1: wasn't a puker when I drink like a fish, because I.
- 25:11Speaker 2: You wouldn't have to have been a hard drinker. I
- 25:12Speaker 2: bet you couldn't have been. You'd freaking been dead. Wow.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Crazy about Lunchbox two is he doesn't get hangovers, which
- 25:17Speaker 4: is nuts.
- 25:18Speaker 2: He has the superpower that we don't even know yet.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Something we're starting to put the pieces together. There's something
- 25:22Speaker 2: about him that if he just figures out to put
- 25:24Speaker 2: the pieces together, you're gonna be able to fly or
- 25:25Speaker 2: some crap. That's cool, dude, Yeah, congrats.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You're welcome. It's scary. My wife freaks out. I mean,
- 25:30Speaker 1: she thought I was playing with her because she was
- 25:31Speaker 1: pregnant when I passed out against the wall like I
- 25:34Speaker 1: was a dead body and CSI and she comes down
- 25:37Speaker 1: like that's not funny. That's not funny, and then she
- 25:39Speaker 1: freaked out and I was.
- 25:42Speaker 2: But you could also use that to your advantage.
- 25:45Speaker 4: You just when you don't want to do something.
- 25:47Speaker 2: That's right, I'll send you on the floor, takes trash
- 25:50Speaker 2: out and then don't open your eyes. Then make her
- 25:52Speaker 2: feel guilty.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Read all right, sorry, Ray, that was disgusting. I'll try
- 25:57Speaker 5: to keep mine as bad. But this is advice. So
- 26:01Speaker 5: there's two things. Been thrown up and partying with chicks.
- 26:03Speaker 5: You don't want the chicks. This is when I was
- 26:04Speaker 5: single back in college with my best friend South Beach,
- 26:09Speaker 5: and he taught me this. So you never want chicks
- 26:10Speaker 5: to see you throw up into the game. They're not
- 26:12Speaker 5: gonna hook up with you. And then you never want
- 26:13Speaker 5: a bar bouncer to see you throw up, or you're
- 26:15Speaker 5: gonna get booted at the bar. And I always told
- 26:17Speaker 5: South Beach, I said, hey, dude, I can't do tequila shots. Well,
- 26:20Speaker 5: we're on Sixth Street, I would say, the library. What
- 26:22Speaker 5: were some of the wooden nickel?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Is that correct? Is that one of them nickel?
- 26:26Speaker 5: It might have been that spot. Okay, and we're there
- 26:29Speaker 5: and the girls wanted tequila. Here we go, so we
- 26:32Speaker 5: all do the tequila.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Shot and I meet.
- 26:34Speaker 5: I still to this day really don't do tequila shots
- 26:36Speaker 5: if I have to. And I could feel to throw up.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Immediately went in my mouth, and so I remembered in
- 26:40Speaker 5: my head, Okay, I gotta find a trash can. And
- 26:43Speaker 5: South Beach said, don't let the chicks see and don't
- 26:44Speaker 5: let the bouncer see. So I found the trash can.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Immediately into the trash can, and I just kept walking.
- 26:49Speaker 5: I just kept walking South Beach is up there partying
- 26:51Speaker 5: with the chicks. They all came down stairs, like, oh
- 26:53Speaker 5: my gosh, where did you go? Like I wasn't really
- 26:54Speaker 5: feeling the party. Yeah, you know, it was kind of
- 26:57Speaker 5: lame up there. What are you all doing? They had
- 26:58Speaker 5: no idea. I threw up. The bouncer never booted me out.
- 27:00Speaker 5: But the key was I found a trash can. And
- 27:03Speaker 5: the second after I threw up, take off walking. Just
- 27:06Speaker 5: keep moving, bouncer's not going to really tail you. And
- 27:09Speaker 5: at the same time he's like, did he just throw up?
- 27:11Speaker 5: Because usually people hunch over kids just keep it going. Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 5: And then you're totally fine and everybody goes, you're awesome, dude,
- 27:19Speaker 5: you want to bounce out of space. I'm like, yeah,
- 27:20Speaker 5: it's so lame, man, let's roll, baby. But I was
- 27:24Speaker 5: really the weakest one of the bunch, but I seem
- 27:26Speaker 5: like the coolest.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like inspired, that's smart.
- 27:28Speaker 1: It is smart. If you stay hunched over the trash
- 27:30Speaker 1: can you draw attention to yourself?
- 27:31Speaker 3: You want to make it quick?
- 27:32Speaker 2: I'm inspired. It feels like two things I want to
- 27:34Speaker 2: ask about your story there. One, when must you have
- 27:37Speaker 2: to take shots like that? Because you said and lets
- 27:40Speaker 2: you have to.
- 27:41Speaker 4: When everyone's doing it.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Group think. You're the outsider.
- 27:44Speaker 5: You're saying when you're getting peer pressured and you succumb
- 27:47Speaker 5: to peer pressure. If it's me and Beazer at the
- 27:48Speaker 5: house and she goes, let's do shots, I'll be like
- 27:50Speaker 5: to shut up.
- 27:51Speaker 1: But if you're at a bar with other people, yeah, then.
- 27:54Speaker 4: You tell her like that shut up.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she knows my style. I don't do shots, but hey,
- 27:57Speaker 1: it's New Year's Eve. We got to do a shot. You
- 27:59Speaker 1: got to. You're gonna have a bad year.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Everybody's doing it, You're gonna have a bad year. I'm
- 28:03Speaker 5: just kind of you have to or blank. But there
- 28:06Speaker 5: are ways to get away without not taking that. I've
- 28:09Speaker 5: done many times with people that don't know that I
- 28:10Speaker 5: don't drink. I'll take fake shots just because I don't
- 28:12Speaker 5: want to talk about it. People I don't know, but
- 28:13Speaker 5: I need to fill fill in the blank. If you
- 28:16Speaker 5: don't blank happens. It's it's there's something with a community
- 28:20Speaker 5: with taking a shot with a bunch of people. The
- 28:22Speaker 5: one person, one person that doesn't. It's just like some
- 28:25Speaker 5: weird juju. I've never been the one person that doesn't,
- 28:27Speaker 5: so I don't know about it. I have many times
- 28:29Speaker 5: I'm doing pretty good.
- 28:30Speaker 4: They call they call you. He's right, they call you
- 28:32Speaker 4: names and stuff.
- 28:33Speaker 2: That's okay, feel good.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You can't. I'm already a I'm already being a P.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So it didn't. In fact, you know, somebody calls me
- 28:46Speaker 2: that I'm the biggest B and P there is and.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Then they put it right in front of it. Yeah
- 28:49Speaker 4: you pe.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Or are you telling you if you're scared to go
- 28:52Speaker 1: to church?
- 28:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 28:54Speaker 1: We do that too. I guess I'm already all in.
- 28:56Speaker 1: You can't really hurt me.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I do it all okay, mine's a little more on
- 29:06Speaker 2: the sports front.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Thank you, I'm on you.
- 29:10Speaker 2: That's a good point. I unfairly said that. That's a great, great,
- 29:14Speaker 2: great great.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Uh.
- 29:15Speaker 2: If you have something in front of you, like fore
- 29:17Speaker 2: to write it down, it could be even it doesn't matter.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I just want nobody to be able to change their
- 29:20Speaker 2: answer once to hear somebody else's answer, and I will
- 29:22Speaker 2: go last in case someone has my answer. I don't
- 29:25Speaker 2: want to feel like someone has to tell the same story.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I just told everybody, good goody, who's the greatest college
- 29:34Speaker 2: football player of all time? And I'm also gonna say
- 29:39Speaker 2: there is not a right or wrong answer, because you can.
- 29:40Speaker 2: You can cherry pick data in any way possible. You
- 29:44Speaker 2: can go freaking Newt Rockney if you want over the rock,
- 29:48Speaker 2: who's gonna fight you?
- 29:49Speaker 4: Galloping ghosts.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna not get to say any more names. Who's
- 29:54Speaker 2: the greatest college football player of all time? And support
- 29:58Speaker 2: your facts? Kevin is supposed to pan down. It's your
- 30:02Speaker 2: order anyway, So look like you're ready to go. Is
- 30:03Speaker 2: everybody everybody in and all right? Kick off? Kevin?
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna go. Reggie Bush still to this day
- 30:10Speaker 3: hate USC, but that is the best player I've ever seen.
- 30:12Speaker 3: There is a Tim Tebow, Mike Vicks great, but Reggie Bush.
- 30:14Speaker 2: They won't say other names because you're taking our names away.
- 30:16Speaker 2: If you're saying other.
- 30:17Speaker 1: People, okay, you know the rules.
- 30:19Speaker 2: That's the biggest You just did the biggest douchebag thing
- 30:21Speaker 2: you could do in this to say other names. Well,
- 30:23Speaker 2: I was gonna say, uh, new Rockney, and I was gonna,
- 30:26Speaker 2: but we may want to say them.
- 30:28Speaker 1: You know our rules.
- 30:29Speaker 3: But then you say then you can, then you can
- 30:30Speaker 3: back it up after you say your name. dB Alert, Okay,
- 30:34Speaker 3: Reggie Bush greatest of all time?
- 30:35Speaker 2: Done boom, he got dB alerted.
- 30:39Speaker 4: It's never good.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Dang dude, back it up, do multiple names, lunch bokes,
- 30:43Speaker 5: It's easy.
- 30:44Speaker 1: It's the guy that Reggie Bush stole the heisman from
- 30:46Speaker 1: Vince Young. I have never seen someone on a football
- 30:50Speaker 1: field dominate the way he did. It was a man
- 30:54Speaker 1: amongst boys. He was so much more athletic, faster, everything, stronger.
- 30:58Speaker 4: He was.
- 30:59Speaker 1: He was must see TV. Vince Young, from my eyes,
- 31:03Speaker 1: best college football player ever.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Thank you for only saying one person. We should do
- 31:08Speaker 2: a chain, like when you do get a turnover and
- 31:10Speaker 2: it says douchebag on it, because well you wear it. Yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 2: because I do ducheback stuff half the time too, and
- 31:15Speaker 2: I just have to wear it.
- 31:16Speaker 3: A goldfish.
- 31:17Speaker 2: You have that guy there? Oh, that's right, like the goldfish,
- 31:20Speaker 2: like when they after wear the goldfish.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm glad you guys watched the Rose Bowl back
- 31:26Speaker 5: in two thousand and five.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna choose a different year. Give me.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I was gonna choose Johnny Manziel and I'm going to
- 31:33Speaker 5: choose Johnny.
- 31:34Speaker 1: After both of you guys.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Both you guys, go ahead.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Johnny Manziel I had never heard of the guy and
- 31:40Speaker 5: I was at my friend's house and we're just started
- 31:42Speaker 5: circulating man an M's beating Bama and M's beating Bama. Man,
- 31:46Speaker 5: who's your quarterback? Oh it's manzel Manziel. Oh they're ahead,
- 31:51Speaker 5: Oh they're behind.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Johnny.
- 31:52Speaker 5: This is Johnny Football, jf P, Johnny f F This
- 31:56Speaker 5: john his name is Johnny.
- 31:57Speaker 1: It was what his last name's football? And they're like
- 32:00Speaker 1: Johnny Football. He just threw it seventy yards throw on
- 32:03Speaker 1: the TV. Who is this Johnny football? Guy? Dude?
- 32:08Speaker 5: And since that day it was appointment TV. I lived
- 32:12Speaker 5: with lunchbox dude CBS. At two thirty, I was watching
- 32:15Speaker 5: Johnny Football. If we were out at the bar, the
- 32:17Speaker 5: loudest you would hear is when Johnny Football was getting
- 32:20Speaker 5: beat by Old Miss. Those were the loudest, craziest yells.
- 32:23Speaker 5: Johnny Football changed everything. You had to watch his games.
- 32:27Speaker 5: When you say word got around, would that be the internet? Uh?
- 32:31Speaker 5: Internet wasn't as strong back then. Well, he was a
- 32:34Speaker 5: around two thousand and seven. I lived with him. Actually,
- 32:37Speaker 5: never mind, Johnny Football was twen thirteen.
- 32:39Speaker 2: And do you say the internet really was in the thing?
- 32:42Speaker 5: Okay, we lived around twenty thirteen. We lived together.
- 32:45Speaker 1: The signal was weak at our house, and what.
- 32:49Speaker 5: We're trying to say, like ninety eight out of it,
- 32:52Speaker 5: Like all right, So he must have been there a
- 32:54Speaker 5: couple of years. So twenty twelve is when I first
- 32:56Speaker 5: heard about him, and it was just it was ever.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Everybody just started saying Johnny Football. His last name's football.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Every went man.
- 33:02Speaker 1: That's crazy. And so that that greatest of all time,
- 33:05Speaker 1: since he was so great, he elevated his team and
- 33:07Speaker 1: took him to a national title.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Right, well, he got the heisman, he didn't have the team,
- 33:10Speaker 5: but it doesn't have to be a team event.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I'm just asking him because the greatest Vince Young took
- 33:15Speaker 1: Texas on his back. He got robbed of the Heisman,
- 33:17Speaker 1: but the greatest of all time, he said, guys, get
- 33:19Speaker 1: on my back. I'll just go ahead and throw it.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Oh you don't want to throw it. I'll just run
- 33:21Speaker 1: it to the end zone, touchdown. We'll win the national title.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Greatest of all time, and I'll open a steakhouse.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Yeah it didn't last though.
- 33:28Speaker 2: It didn't. And you know famous people his former real
- 33:30Speaker 2: world house, right, fatas people do restaurants and actually own them. Well,
- 33:34Speaker 2: Johnny got their name. The money bar, that you had
- 33:36Speaker 2: the money by.
- 33:38Speaker 1: A and M. You got you go to A and M.
- 33:41Speaker 5: The biggest and best bar there is the money bar,
- 33:43Speaker 5: and that's his. And that's a fact bones you telling me,
- 33:46Speaker 5: I don't know that they can't. Yeah, that's the fact
- 33:48Speaker 5: that you don't know that he might be right, he's
- 33:50Speaker 5: got merch. I gotta go though, I have toie.
- 33:53Speaker 4: I went to Dikas and they said when I got there,
- 33:56Speaker 4: they're like, man, you just met and mixed miss Ditka.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Possibly I figured he owns he's old school. Most of the
- 34:03Speaker 2: guys now leased out their names.
- 34:06Speaker 1: We saw her any Banks at it.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah, old school guys. But now like even all the
- 34:09Speaker 2: artists here, they don't own their bars down town. They
- 34:12Speaker 2: leased their name, right Right's getting sad he didn't know
- 34:14Speaker 2: that they lease out their name. It's more like a
- 34:16Speaker 2: bar group owner that will pay Miranda and then she'll
- 34:20Speaker 2: design it and her name's on it and she gets
- 34:22Speaker 2: paid a fee plus a percentage of like back end. Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 2: I mean to break your hearts. That's okay, But old
- 34:27Speaker 2: school is different because I don't think they did it
- 34:29Speaker 2: like so like an Ernie Banks or Mike Ditke.
- 34:32Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Ddie best college football player, just one place.
- 34:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna go back to U. A guy who wasn't
- 34:41Speaker 4: very good. Besides, that's a weird. He wasn't very good
- 34:46Speaker 4: in high school. He was just small. And then he
- 34:48Speaker 4: wanted to go to a school. They didn't accept him.
- 34:52Speaker 4: He had to go to a junior college just to
- 34:53Speaker 4: get into the school.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Don't say, Rudy.
- 34:55Speaker 4: And he told I'm not done. I'm not done. And
- 34:58Speaker 4: he told the coach, I'm gonna get into the school
- 35:00Speaker 4: and when I do, I want to play for you.
- 35:02Speaker 4: And the coach said, you do that, You're in. He
- 35:05Speaker 4: did it despite what everyone told.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Him, Rudy.
- 35:10Speaker 4: He made the Notre Dame football team and played the.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Very last game of his senior year.
- 35:17Speaker 4: He dressed and played and made a sack on the
- 35:20Speaker 4: last play of the game.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Rudy, Rudiger, let's go yeah, thank you, Hey, you want
- 35:32Speaker 1: the real truth.
- 35:32Speaker 4: I had Vince Young ridden down.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Why would you pick Vince Young?
- 35:36Speaker 4: Because he was awesome, he was amazing, And you know what,
- 35:38Speaker 4: that was the time when.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I, okay, you could have said that's why we did No.
- 35:41Speaker 4: I didn't want to piggyback off lunchbox. I went Rudy Riudiger,
- 35:44Speaker 4: that's where you went.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna go Tony Romo or someone.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I was like, oh god, I.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Remember Romo in college?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Was he was?
- 35:52Speaker 2: He like popular in college Northern Illinois.
- 35:59Speaker 3: When he said zero if Newton cam.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Newton may be one of the most dominant.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Ever yea ever?
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I for me the easy, easy answer, And I'm
- 36:08Speaker 2: not a massive fan of him. A college was Tim
- 36:09Speaker 2: Tebow won two titles, has a freaking statue and I thought, man,
- 36:14Speaker 2: it's Tim Timbo's lame like they lost and he's like, oh,
- 36:16Speaker 2: prom to God, We're gonna never lose again. They freaking win.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Like there's so much Lord of t Bow.
- 36:21Speaker 2: He won the Heisman, UH finalists a couple of times,
- 36:25Speaker 2: won two titles. I remember seeing him as a freshman
- 36:29Speaker 2: the SC Championship camp is Chris Leak was the starting
- 36:30Speaker 2: quarterback and Tebow would just come in inside five yards
- 36:34Speaker 2: and it was just automatic and so amazing. College player,
- 36:40Speaker 2: probably the best college player that I've ever seen. Didn't
- 36:43Speaker 2: translate super well to the NFL. One even like the
- 36:47Speaker 2: quarterback awards, like Dave O'Brien's quarterback right m H won
- 36:50Speaker 2: the Davey O'Brien was like the guy, so I would go.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Tim Tebow is probably two. It was lin insanity with
- 37:00Speaker 2: Tebow more than anybody else where. Everybody was kind of
- 37:04Speaker 2: enthralled by Manziel's close to that. Johnny Football definitely an
- 37:08Speaker 2: insanity to Johnny Football as well JFF. But Tebow was
- 37:12Speaker 2: multiple seasons, multiple championships. I'm gonna go. Tim Tebow met him,
- 37:18Speaker 2: oh ud Okay.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Yeah, he was at a private He was at a
- 37:23Speaker 5: private club in Nationville. Not anybody can get on into
- 37:26Speaker 5: on the streets. But I luckily I was with Bazer
- 37:28Speaker 5: when we were dating. My wife and her friend both
- 37:30Speaker 5: too blonde hotties, and they got us. It was called Citizens,
- 37:33Speaker 5: so it doesn't even have a menu, it doesn't even
- 37:35Speaker 5: have a website. We go back there, Tim Tebow's there.
- 37:37Speaker 5: He wanted to meet the chicks. I said, I got
- 37:39Speaker 5: to come with him. The boyfriend that guy goes, all right,
- 37:40Speaker 5: you can come, and so I go backs calling chicks back.
- 37:44Speaker 5: It was more as managers. They just wanted people to
- 37:46Speaker 5: kind of be a there's one people to meet him
- 37:47Speaker 5: because they knew he was famous.
- 37:49Speaker 2: That's him was Nobo was also a raised story guy,
- 37:52Speaker 2: so let's not. I just don't want anybody to assign
- 37:54Speaker 2: themselves because I've met Tim many times to assign Tim
- 37:58Speaker 2: Tebow to for sure he might yet that's a fact
- 38:01Speaker 2: at the end, as he does sometimes just no, Rai's
- 38:04Speaker 2: a good story teller.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Yeah, go ahead.
- 38:05Speaker 5: I got a feeling they were doing shots right. No,
- 38:07Speaker 5: he wasn't drinking. Tim Tebow was just watching the NBA Finals. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 5: p orb, he was chilling and his manager kind of
- 38:13Speaker 5: brought some people over hate Tim, hate Tim, And then
- 38:15Speaker 5: manager exchanged numbers with the other blonde we're with and
- 38:18Speaker 5: we went to a sidebar and we tried to meet
- 38:20Speaker 5: up with them at a hotel but it never worked out.
- 38:21Speaker 5: But Tebow really I feel like his manager wanted to
- 38:24Speaker 5: party with chicks more than t BO. Tebow was wanted
- 38:26Speaker 5: to watch the NBA Finals, but got to shake his hand,
- 38:28Speaker 5: took a picture and I didn't smile. I didn't want
- 38:30Speaker 5: I was a little tipsy. I didn't want to screw
- 38:32Speaker 5: it up. So when the picture Tim smiling and I'm
- 38:34Speaker 5: like the stone cold, how.
- 38:35Speaker 2: You doing to throw up? Because he got kicked out
- 38:36Speaker 2: at Tebow's Yeah. Really the nicest guy ever. He did
- 38:41Speaker 2: the show once I did. Paul Finebaum, he was a guest,
- 38:44Speaker 2: came on the bus and sat for twenty minutes. It's
- 38:46Speaker 2: like Bobby and I don't know him. I just met him,
- 38:50Speaker 2: but he came on set because we had met, but
- 38:51Speaker 2: he came into set forever and talked. It was he.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I think I met him three times every time. Nice
- 38:56Speaker 2: of him before, but he's always like, where are the chicks?
- 38:58Speaker 2: And I'm like, Tim, I know, get the blondies on that.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Fact. All right, two to go, Kevin.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna need some advice here.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Guys.
- 39:09Speaker 3: All four of you are married, right, and I am
- 39:11Speaker 3: newly engaged, and I've been battling a couple of things
- 39:14Speaker 3: since being engaged, finding the right balance between sports and
- 39:20Speaker 3: what she wants to watch. It's because lately I've been
- 39:24Speaker 3: watching some reality TV on a Thursday night when there's
- 39:27Speaker 3: an NFL game on it, and as Survivor if the
- 39:29Speaker 3: Patriots aren't on, I'm not you know, I'm like, Okay,
- 39:31Speaker 3: we can do it tonight. And I'm trying to find
- 39:33Speaker 3: the balance. So I guess I'm coming to each of
- 39:35Speaker 3: you like, is there a percentage? What's your advice the
- 39:37Speaker 3: lunch box? I'll go to you first, Uh, there's not
- 39:40Speaker 3: really a balance. We watch more sports than anything, just
- 39:43Speaker 3: because at night she goes to bed earlier, she gets tired,
- 39:46Speaker 3: and so she's like, I can watch maybe thirty minutes,
- 39:48Speaker 3: and I'm like, well, the episode's an hour. I don't
- 39:50Speaker 3: want to start one and stop it.
- 39:51Speaker 1: She's like, okay, I'm gonna go to bed, or she'll
- 39:53Speaker 1: just scroll her phone while I watch sports. And so
- 39:55Speaker 1: I dominate the channel changer, right, No, seriously, But the
- 40:00Speaker 1: I said dominate, it sounds like, yeah, yeah, you control
- 40:02Speaker 1: the channel changer. And but you do have to sacrifice
- 40:05Speaker 1: some things if it's not a big game, like if
- 40:07Speaker 1: it's you know, the I was gonna say Patriots, Like
- 40:09Speaker 1: if it's like the Cowboys versus the Panthers, who gives
- 40:12Speaker 1: a crap. It's like, oh, you know what, I don't like,
- 40:14Speaker 1: you don't want to watch football? No, it's okay, not tonight,
- 40:16Speaker 1: because she doesn't realize what's a big game and what's not.
- 40:18Speaker 1: So that's how you can do it.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 40:19Speaker 1: But I would say we watch eighty five percent sports
- 40:22Speaker 1: at night and fifteen percent regular show.
- 40:23Speaker 3: But you like Survivor, like you like it with her
- 40:26Speaker 3: love that's different I'm talking about shows that you don't
- 40:29Speaker 3: like too.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Oh.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I used to watch The Bachelor, which with her, but
- 40:31Speaker 1: you just get into it.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I got into this new show called The Ultimatum.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Not gonna lie. Guys love it.
- 40:37Speaker 1: See That's what I'm saying. Like the one where they
- 40:39Speaker 1: do the design the America's on Exile model, Yeah, cake off,
- 40:44Speaker 1: No with is this Cake is a queer eye for
- 40:48Speaker 1: the Heidi Klum And they do the fashion shows and
- 40:51Speaker 1: one gets cut Runway Project run Wider. I hated it.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I was like, this is so stupid, but then by
- 40:57Speaker 1: the end you're like, all right, I'm cheering for this person.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I want them to.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Lunches answers like I just watched the reality stuff. I
- 41:03Speaker 4: love it.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Sports you're gonna adapt your your your tastes are gonna change.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So how does that help him with sports he wants
- 41:12Speaker 2: to watch.
- 41:13Speaker 1: So I'm saying, you got to give some to get some,
- 41:15Speaker 1: But eighty five percent you control the remote control, you
- 41:17Speaker 1: control that channel changer, So.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Get eighty five and get fifteen.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Yep, it seems healthy.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I do like his idea because I think we all
- 41:24Speaker 2: do it too. We act like, yeah, I'll not watch
- 41:27Speaker 2: worry about this game. It's not to watch it when
- 41:29Speaker 2: it does. Were't gonna watch it any but.
- 41:30Speaker 3: You have to make it known. I'm missing this game.
- 41:33Speaker 2: But it's okay, Yes, it's okay, all right, mind simple.
- 41:36Speaker 5: The best thing you can bring into the bedroom with
- 41:37Speaker 5: you is the iPad and you're watching her Hallmark movie.
- 41:41Speaker 5: You got the game going too. They don't mind YouTube TV.
- 41:44Speaker 5: You can put it on the iPad, you can put
- 41:46Speaker 5: on your phone. I've never missed a game. You kind
- 41:49Speaker 5: of pay attention to the movie. My wife controls the TV.
- 41:51Speaker 5: I really don't even know how to log into some
- 41:52Speaker 5: of the stuff. But but you don't watch it with volume,
- 41:55Speaker 5: then I assume, Yeah, I never get to hear the announcers.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I just do my own play by play. That's a dude,
- 42:00Speaker 1: she's throw.
- 42:06Speaker 5: So if there's a penalty and stuff, I never know
- 42:08Speaker 5: that because I have no volume, you know.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And my wife wouldn't be cool with that. Really, if
- 42:13Speaker 2: we're gonna watch something, it's because she'd rather if I'm
- 42:16Speaker 2: gonna watch something else, just go watch it another room
- 42:17Speaker 2: and not be distracted. That's nice that your wife would
- 42:21Speaker 2: do that, And like she's like she wants you to
- 42:22Speaker 2: sit next to her.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Is that what it is?
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:24Speaker 2: Yeah, mm hmm, yeah, that wouldn't flow to my house.
- 42:27Speaker 2: She's like, we're gonna watch the game. Just go watch
- 42:29Speaker 2: the game.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Oh she would, but that's a green light, right.
- 42:31Speaker 2: You're like, okay, yeah, but then I still owe her.
- 42:33Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, I don't know. It's a if
- 42:36Speaker 2: that were that's awesome. If she's like, I wanna watch
- 42:38Speaker 2: this and you're like, I'm gonna watch a game in
- 42:40Speaker 2: my lap, I'd never have to worry about anything again.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I do that all the time. She watched whatever she wanted.
- 42:45Speaker 4: You guys, this is simple. We all have this excuse
- 42:48Speaker 4: because we all do sports podcasts. All you gotta say
- 42:51Speaker 4: is I gotta work. I have to work, So just
- 42:55Speaker 4: give me. I really don't want to watch these games.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Just give me three hours, maybe six, I have to
- 43:00Speaker 4: watch these games, and then we can do whatever you want.
- 43:01Speaker 1: My wife does say sometimes she goes, I know you
- 43:03Speaker 1: have to do it for the podcast. She don't say that,
- 43:05Speaker 1: and I'm like, yeah, you're right.
- 43:06Speaker 3: You know, her parents, my fiance's parents. One time on
- 43:09Speaker 3: a Saturday, they were like, you need to watch the
- 43:11Speaker 3: games today, right, Like we'll set it up for you.
- 43:12Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, she got it. I got that podcast.
- 43:15Speaker 1: You know perfect.
- 43:17Speaker 4: You got to start that early. Dude, say this is
- 43:20Speaker 4: my career, this is what I do.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I have to watch it, got to pay the bills,
- 43:23Speaker 1: take care of your daughter.
- 43:24Speaker 2: If you use this, I do. But if you do
- 43:26Speaker 2: it a lot, you out use. You have to use
- 43:28Speaker 2: that very spur like sporadically and intentional. Because I did
- 43:33Speaker 2: it every week. I did every Sunday. I gotta watch it.
- 43:36Speaker 2: And she's like, well, then you're just not going to
- 43:38Speaker 2: be educated because you're not spending ten hours every Sunday,
- 43:40Speaker 2: every day every So if I do say that, I
- 43:44Speaker 2: either mean it or I need a little cheat. But
- 43:46Speaker 2: I can't. I can't leave it consistent.
- 43:49Speaker 4: I use that excuse so much that my mom when
- 43:51Speaker 4: she was with us for two weeks and she went home,
- 43:53Speaker 4: she told my sister, like, and he works so much
- 43:57Speaker 4: fun because not only does he have to go to
- 43:58Speaker 4: the studio, he has to watch all day.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Where it gets me in trouble though.
- 44:02Speaker 2: If I choose to do something on a Sunday while
- 44:03Speaker 2: football is on, it's like recreational. It's like I'm wanna
- 44:06Speaker 2: go play golf. No, we have to watch all the games.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Or if I'm gonna go and that's bitten me before,
- 44:11Speaker 2: or it's like, hey we're gonna play pick a ball.
- 44:13Speaker 2: It's one o'clock. It's just gonnay to pick aball. No,
- 44:15Speaker 2: you gotta work, don't you. I have to do that.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I'll that you gotta work. You gotta watch your games.
- 44:20Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, I'll just catch up on this
- 44:22Speaker 2: on this speed. You cann watch them. And she's like,
- 44:24Speaker 2: so the next time bring it up. Well, can't you
- 44:25Speaker 2: do that speed thing you do? You just gotta be dealt.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Be dealt. That is a tool, that's a weapon. Can't
- 44:32Speaker 2: walk on you can't use that sword everywhere you go.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Let me just quick follow up. Then sometimes I get
- 44:36Speaker 3: her involved in some parlays and bets that I have
- 44:38Speaker 3: just to get her into the game.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Guys, do that job.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Start your marriage?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:43Speaker 1: Thanks boys, Yeah, we all salute that.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Uh I don't. I don't have a good answer.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Do you let her pick some of the bets or
- 44:50Speaker 1: do you just say oh this is what retty?
- 44:51Speaker 3: I'll say, hey, this is and then I'll be like, yeah,
- 44:53Speaker 3: you know, five bucks for you, five bucks for me.
- 44:55Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, so it's just ten bucks for me.
- 44:57Speaker 3: So and then I let her be, Oh, this person's
- 44:59Speaker 3: got to get this many yards or catches, whatever it is,
- 45:01Speaker 3: and just tell her.
- 45:02Speaker 2: My wife wild strategize me if it's a Arcot always
- 45:04Speaker 2: back basketball game. There have been times I'm like, hey,
- 45:05Speaker 2: it's a big game, because if I do call it now,
- 45:09Speaker 2: we have a rule if I call it or she
- 45:11Speaker 2: calls something, I want you to do this with me.
- 45:13Speaker 2: And it's over an eight on the scale, we mean it.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And but I'll be like, this is a big game,
- 45:17Speaker 2: or because I've got a big basketball game, I'm gonna
- 45:19Speaker 2: have to watch this. She's like, they're playing in North Texas,
- 45:21Speaker 2: it's not a conference game, like the mother, so she
- 45:23Speaker 2: would just check on. You know, she's a massive sports fan,
- 45:26Speaker 2: though I don't know. I'm pretty fortunate my wife's a
- 45:29Speaker 2: really big sports fan. Just in general. She's not gonna
- 45:31Speaker 2: watch game she has no interest in and I'm not
- 45:33Speaker 2: either knows I'm betting on it or we have to
- 45:34Speaker 2: watch it for hey, for work. But she's enough of
- 45:38Speaker 2: one to like know what's up. So I can't really
- 45:39Speaker 2: get away with the lies. So I kind of just
- 45:43Speaker 2: pick and choose the ones. I have to hope I
- 45:46Speaker 2: get some of the ones that admit and give up
- 45:48Speaker 2: on the easy ones, but make it a point that
- 45:51Speaker 2: I gave up the easy ones.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Yeah, though even though I know she knows I'm lying.
- 45:55Speaker 4: That's tough for you, man.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's great because her family are massive sports fans.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Are on the holiday, so it's on TV all the time.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Her dad massive sports fans, so we watched a lot
- 46:03Speaker 2: of sports. But that what's awesome is also what's hard.
- 46:06Speaker 2: What's awesome is that she's a big sports fan and
- 46:08Speaker 2: she can watch whatever. But also she knows enough to
- 46:12Speaker 2: call me on my bull crap, like arksall's got a
- 46:14Speaker 2: big game to not I need to watch because they're
- 46:15Speaker 2: playing North Texas. It's not even a conference game.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it helps when you got a winning team, I
- 46:20Speaker 5: mean so.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, why don't in football?
- 46:24Speaker 2: Right?
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's not good. That's hard to deal with
- 46:27Speaker 1: the Patriots.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Well, yeah, she was with me there in the Celtics
- 46:29Speaker 3: running the playoffs this past year and that was too
- 46:32Speaker 3: much for me. But she, I mean, she liked it,
- 46:34Speaker 3: but she was like if you did that for you know,
- 46:36Speaker 3: during the Red Sox Patriots, like year round She's like,
- 46:39Speaker 3: that's a lot, so she's she's lucky at the same time.
- 46:41Speaker 1: The final question for the panel Lunchbox, Yeah, I just
- 46:43Speaker 1: want to know why athletes all go for the same chicks, Like,
- 46:46Speaker 1: I don't understand what they have the all these hot
- 46:49Speaker 1: girls in the world and they go for the same ones.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Like just recently, Cody Bellinger got traded to the Yankees,
- 46:56Speaker 1: and the problem is his wife was used to date
- 47:00Speaker 1: gimcrlos Stanton for like a year. They were dating for
- 47:03Speaker 1: like a year, year and a half, and then she
- 47:04Speaker 1: married Cody Bellinger. So they're sharing a locker room and
- 47:08Speaker 1: they both I'm gonna assume relations with the same woman.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Christian McCaffrey is married to Danny A. Mondola's ex chick.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I know that well.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Chloe Kardashian was with lamar Odom then she goes to
- 47:22Speaker 1: Tristan Thompson. It's like, guys, can you go outside and
- 47:26Speaker 1: find different chicks? Why is this ray your theory?
- 47:30Speaker 5: I really don't have one. I'm guess I'm they're used
- 47:34Speaker 5: to the type of stuff from that athlete. So oh
- 47:37Speaker 5: he flies in private jets.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Oh it's nice. He only has one game a week, so.
- 47:41Speaker 5: They almost don't even cross sports because they don't know.
- 47:44Speaker 2: What about the athlete. I think he's asking why why
- 47:46Speaker 2: don't just.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Go somewhere else find a different chicks?
- 47:49Speaker 5: Fo chicks either love country singers, athletes, musicians, and once
- 47:53Speaker 5: they're in that lane, they're in it. Bro, So you're
- 47:56Speaker 5: just talking about lanes, like, rarely do you see a
- 48:00Speaker 5: chick date a radio guy and then go to an athlete.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Well, because there is an education.
- 48:10Speaker 2: There is an education that happens when you're with someone
- 48:12Speaker 2: in a certain profession where you have the education to
- 48:14Speaker 2: know how to get back to other people in that profession.
- 48:16Speaker 2: I can understand that, but I think that analogy is
- 48:18Speaker 2: pretty muche.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I see it's just so weird, like how they're going
- 48:21Speaker 1: to share a locker room, like that's like my data
- 48:24Speaker 1: for a year and then you married her? That how
- 48:26Speaker 1: weird would that be? If we've worked together every day?
- 48:29Speaker 5: Well, and I bet you could find where they have
- 48:31Speaker 5: kind of hung out before at a similar type event.
- 48:34Speaker 1: And the worst is Stanton head her first?
- 48:36Speaker 4: Should we tell should we tell Hunchbucks?
- 48:39Speaker 2: Different show?
- 48:40Speaker 4: We all dated your wife?
- 48:41Speaker 2: Different show? No?
- 48:44Speaker 4: I think that the pool is very small, and like.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Listen, the world.
- 48:49Speaker 4: Nah. But but I think it's dangerous for some of
- 48:52Speaker 4: these professional athletes to just try dating a regular person
- 48:55Speaker 4: because they don't trust them. Are they only in it
- 48:57Speaker 4: for my money and my fame whatever? But they have
- 48:59Speaker 4: these girls, these group of girls. They're like, oh, Stanton
- 49:02Speaker 4: dated this chick. Like she's not she's cool. Man, Like,
- 49:04Speaker 4: you'll like her. Okay, cool, Stanton did. He's rich, He's
- 49:07Speaker 4: like me, so I'll give a shot. He marries her.
- 49:10Speaker 4: I think that's how that happens versus like, oh yeah,
- 49:13Speaker 4: there's only five to choose from. I just think that
- 49:15Speaker 4: it's a trust factor. You trust this group of girls
- 49:18Speaker 4: that kind of know each other.
- 49:20Speaker 2: I think it's a combination of things. I think it
- 49:23Speaker 2: does happen more. It's weird when basketball players like, he's
- 49:26Speaker 2: dating her, but she's been married to him, and before
- 49:28Speaker 2: that she was with him. I don't think it's as
- 49:30Speaker 2: common as we feel it is because it's a story,
- 49:32Speaker 2: because it's not so common. If there were seven girls
- 49:35Speaker 2: dating all the guys, I don't think it would. It's
- 49:38Speaker 2: a story because it's not super common. But it is
- 49:41Speaker 2: common enough that it's really interesting when it does happen.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I bet it happens in other industries too, but they're
- 49:47Speaker 2: not famous, so we don't really hear about it. It does
- 49:49Speaker 2: happen in music. Look at Sean Mendez, right, what do
- 49:52Speaker 2: you who you think Driver's Life was written about? Whenever
- 49:55Speaker 2: it was Driver's License? Olivia? Yeah, and then s in
- 50:00Speaker 2: a carpenter right. Look at all the other girls in
- 50:02Speaker 2: all the world. It's weird, though.
- 50:05Speaker 4: Do I remember something with Matthew Stafford.
- 50:07Speaker 2: His wife said that she hooked up with the backup
- 50:11Speaker 2: quarterback at Georgia.
- 50:13Speaker 4: That's it, that's it.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Make him jealous though, was what that was about? More
- 50:18Speaker 2: than but why would you?
- 50:21Speaker 1: I don't know she That seems crazy to me is
- 50:23Speaker 1: that she came out and said, hey, yeah we were dating.
- 50:25Speaker 1: He wasn't serious enough and we were just casual, so
- 50:27Speaker 1: I went and slept with the backup quarterback to make
- 50:29Speaker 1: him jealous. It's like, boy, man, you make him look like.
- 50:32Speaker 2: A Did she say slept with the hooked up with?
- 50:35Speaker 2: Because that made a different definition hooked up?
- 50:37Speaker 4: Oh, the hook I immediately assume hookup.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Is that's a definition, though I don't think hook up
- 50:42Speaker 5: his makeout only hook up. Hookup can be makeout and
- 50:46Speaker 5: my there's no right answer, right, so we can fight
- 50:48Speaker 5: about it all we want.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Sure.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Hook up to me is it starts at makeout and
- 50:50Speaker 2: it can go all the way being bang boom, But
- 50:52Speaker 2: it could be anywhere in the thing. Hookup could be
- 50:54Speaker 2: mouth only like, it could be mouth on mouth, It
- 50:57Speaker 2: could be mouthed on bottom.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Hook up would be anything where it's private and you're
- 51:01Speaker 2: doing makeout or more. But you can have sex album
- 51:04Speaker 2: hooking up, but you don't have to that would be
- 51:08Speaker 2: But I don't know. She might have said slept it.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I felt like she said hooked up with But I
- 51:11Speaker 2: do not know. But yes, that's a weird that's a weird,
- 51:14Speaker 2: weird story. Good question, man, But I think, yeah, we'll
- 51:17Speaker 2: never know because we're never going to be famous athletes never.
- 51:20Speaker 2: I mean, I might pick a wall still.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Professional.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Yeah what but Kevin, why tell you? What's your theory?
- 51:29Speaker 2: No?
- 51:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 51:30Speaker 3: The weirdest part about that is that their teammates now
- 51:33Speaker 3: like there's one thing to be in the same industry,
- 51:34Speaker 3: like artists.
- 51:35Speaker 2: They weren't to be, but they weren't like Belinger.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, but now it's like, well, like he
- 51:40Speaker 3: should have had his contract again. No trade clause to
- 51:42Speaker 3: wherever John Carlos Stanton is.
- 51:44Speaker 2: I think I think did he have a no trade
- 51:46Speaker 2: laws No, he didn't have one. But still it's the Yankees.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I think you're going to give that up. That's just
- 51:53Speaker 2: go play for the Yankees and maybe won a title
- 51:55Speaker 2: and be the awkward guy's be with your girl or like,
- 51:57Speaker 2: go play for the Royals.
- 51:58Speaker 3: But but I also think some of these guys just
- 52:00Speaker 3: like that. They like that, Yeah, that's a weird thing
- 52:03Speaker 3: inside of them where they're like, yeah, I kind of
- 52:05Speaker 3: like that she dated somebody else in the industry.
- 52:07Speaker 4: That's your fetish too.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I mean they're going to go to function Yankee punctions.
- 52:11Speaker 1: She's gonna be standing there in Belgium. Hey, Gincarlo, how's
- 52:14Speaker 1: it going. It might not be weird to them though,
- 52:17Speaker 1: that's yeah, I don't like it. Lives well, No, you
- 52:19Speaker 1: have a fetish. What I'm talking about, like you like
- 52:20Speaker 1: to sit in the corner and watch it. Sounds like clucker.
- 52:23Speaker 2: We're just saying, like some people life happens, and yeah,
- 52:27Speaker 2: what right' it's called plucking. Please tell me when you're
- 52:31Speaker 2: when you're not a participant, you're an observer.
- 52:33Speaker 1: You like to cluck.
- 52:35Speaker 2: That means you watch No, I know what it means.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I'm just saying, where does it come from. I've never
- 52:38Speaker 2: heard of this term.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I mean sometimes, Oh, he's into clucking. That's what the
- 52:42Speaker 1: Liberty University president. He was into clucking. He was a clucker.
- 52:45Speaker 1: He watched The Pool boyd hook Up with his wife.
- 52:47Speaker 4: You ever watched that movie?
- 52:49Speaker 2: I know the story, but I want to know the
- 52:50Speaker 2: root of clucking. I don't know what the ucking part is,
- 52:52Speaker 2: but I wonder what the cluck is because it feels
- 52:53Speaker 2: like it's a combination of words. I believe it's cook
- 52:56Speaker 2: a cuck. I think couking. Oh see, I know what
- 53:00Speaker 2: cooking means, and I don't know that that's the same.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Why two words am I trying to put together? I
- 53:07Speaker 4: know the second word, what's the first one?
- 53:08Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 53:09Speaker 4: Because cooking is two words? Right?
- 53:11Speaker 1: You don't want to be called a cut?
- 53:14Speaker 2: So look up. I want to know the root of clucking.
- 53:18Speaker 4: So did they say it in that in that movie
- 53:22Speaker 4: or that documentary.
- 53:23Speaker 5: I don't think they ever used the word, but they
- 53:25Speaker 5: made sure they gave you the understanding that he wasn't involved.
- 53:28Speaker 5: He would just stay in the corner with a video
- 53:30Speaker 5: camera there.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I mean no, they have mike cooking is also as well.
- 53:34Speaker 2: That's not how I would have I get a cooking different,
- 53:38Speaker 2: but it's but it kind of is the same. Ish too.
- 53:41Speaker 5: Uh.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Make a man a cuckold by having a sexual relationship
- 53:45Speaker 2: with his wife or being sexually unfaithful to him, but
- 53:47Speaker 2: that's not watching like if Ray had I'm gonna take
- 53:52Speaker 2: me out of this. Let's say Reid was married and
