- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. The FBI and the DOJ want us to
- 0:07believe they blew nearly a million taxpayer dollars on overtime
- 0:11so they could carefully sanitize the Epstein files and make
- 0:14sure nothing inappropriate slipped through. That's the official line. That's
- 0:19the boy scout badge they're trying to slap on their
- 0:21sweaty blazers. And yet, somehow, in their grand crusade to
- 0:24protect the powerful, the only mistake they made was accidentally
- 0:28exposing the names of dozens of survivors. Well, isn't that interesting?
- 0:33So many layers of redaction, so many black bars, that
- 0:37look like a sharpie massacre. But the only thing they
- 0:40missed was the identity of the victims. A coincidence so convenient. Yeah,
- 0:44practically lights fireworks spelling out cover up across the sky.
- 0:48I mean, did they expect us to go like, Wow,
- 0:51great job, guys, A million dollars well spent, Like we're
- 0:54impressed that the same agencies who can track an iPhone
- 0:57two within three inches using a bird flo arding in
- 1:00Wisconsin can't manage to keep survivor's names private like these
- 1:05agencies don't have software that can find a suspicious wire
- 1:08transfer across five continents in ten seconds, but suddenly they
- 1:12can't redact a name properly. They can run surveillance satellites
- 1:16and spy on every text message your grandma sends about
- 1:19meat loaf night, but when it comes to protecting vulnerable survivors, whoops, butterfingers.
- 1:25These clowns want us to swallow the idea that this
- 1:28was an accidental oversight, that in all of the genius
- 1:31level redaction work, they somehow forgot to black out the
- 1:34only names that actually mattered to protect. We're supposed to say,
- 1:38oh darn, what a silly little clerical mix up, as
- 1:42if they misplaced the post it note not exposed real
- 1:44human beings who already suffered unimaginable trauma. Meanwhile, every billionaire
- 1:50hedge fund goul and every political heavy hitter who flew
- 1:53around the world with epstein still has their name wrapped
- 1:56up tighter than a CIA black site. And they really
- 2:00want us to believe that they were doing honest work.
- 2:02They want us to nod and say, well, you know,
- 2:05redaction science is hard. No, shut your yap. These people
- 2:09didn't trip on a cable and fall face first into
- 2:12a keyboard. This wasn't a clerical loopsie. This was targeted, strategic,
- 2:17intentional misdirection. They did their job perfectly where they cared.
- 2:20They had no problems protecting the powerful, They had no
- 2:24problem protecting predators. They protected the fucking system. And look,
- 2:29let's be real. If someone had accidentally revealed the name
- 2:32of a senator, a tech billionaire, or a Wall Street banker,
- 2:35there would already be a congressional hearing stacked to the ceiling.
- 2:38There would be emergency press conferences. People would be fired
- 2:41and marched out of the Federal building before lunch. But
- 2:44when survivors get exposed, when the people who have been ignored, discredited,
- 2:49and re traumatized for decades get violated again by the
- 2:52same institutions that failed them, the official response is basically
- 2:57a whoopsie daisy. Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving. And of
- 3:01course they had the nerve to announce this right before
- 3:04Thanksgiving too, like they lined up behind the podium and said,
- 3:07Happy Turkey Day, America. We fucked up again, but don't worry,
- 3:11it's just the victims, No harm, no foul. As if
- 3:14the timing wasn't deliberate, as if they didn't do it
- 3:17right before a holiday, on purpose, banking on everyone being
- 3:20too busy stuffing their faces and screaming at their in
- 3:23laws to pay attention to the fact that the people
- 3:26tasked with delivering justice are actively ripping the wings off
- 3:30the butterfly. And it should offend every functioning brain cell
- 3:33in this country that these agencies who left to brag
- 3:36about integrity are literally acting like a Reno nine to
- 3:39one one reboot, a bunch of cosplay cops tripping over
- 3:42their feet while the real criminals are drinking yacht size
- 3:45Margarita's in New York. This is what happens when you
- 3:50put clowns in charge of a funeral. Everything becomes a joke.
- 3:55They want us to believe them. They genuinely think we're
- 3:57stupid enough to believe that. The only error in the
- 4:00million dollar redaction process was revealing survivor names. Not the
- 4:04names of the political donors, not the names of the billionaires,
- 4:07not the names of celebrities, or the academics or the
- 4:10finance demons who use Depstein like a concierge service for depravity.
- 4:15Just the survivors, just the people with no shield, no power,
- 4:19no security team, and yo, it takes real dedication to
- 4:23be this corrupt and pretend to be this incompetent. They
- 4:27stand there with straight faces, insisting they're doing everything possible
- 4:31to bring transparency while literally burning the truth like confidential trash.
- 4:35They talk about accountability like it's some theoretical college concept
- 4:39nobody has ever tried before, So let's just stop pretending. Okay,
- 4:46we're watching a cover up on fold and real time,
- 4:48live television, no commercial breaks. You can practically hear the
- 4:52paper shredder is warming up in the basement. You can
- 4:55smell the bleach being poured over evidence. You can hear
- 4:58the champagne corks being popped every time another name gets
- 5:01buried deeper than the Mariana Trench. And people wonder why
- 5:05nobody trusts institutions anymore. People ask why are Americans so cynical?
- 5:11Because every time justice knocks on the door, someone from
- 5:14the FBI pretends they're not home and tells the press
- 5:17they're taking a nap. Because every time survivors think they
- 5:21might finally get a piece of peace, these agencies slap
- 5:24them across the face again and say, oops, our bad.
- 5:27Why don't you try therapy. If you're not furious about this,
- 5:31it's because you're either consciously ignoring the truth or you're
- 5:34on the payroll. There is no middle ground left. Ignorance
- 5:39is an innocence anymore. It's participation. Silence isn't neutral, it's collaboration.
- 5:44Pretending you don't see what's right in front of you
- 5:47doesn't make you wise, it makes you complicit. And every
- 5:50single person who still believes this was just a mistake
- 5:53needs the tattoo gullible on their forehead. These agencies didn't
- 5:57accidentally protect the elite. They didn't act a day erase
- 6:01every trace of institutional guilt. They didn't accidentally expose the survivors.
- 6:05They made choices, very specific choices, calculated ones. They're showing
- 6:11you exactly who they work for, and it isn't you,
- 6:15It isn't the survivors, and it sure as hell isn't
- 6:17the truth. They work for the people who write the
- 6:20checks that are big enough to erase history. And the
- 6:24sickest part, they expect gratitude. They think they deserve applause
- 6:28for releasing anything at all. They want credit for letting
- 6:31us see the crumbs they flick off the table while
- 6:34guarding the cake like attack wolves. They genuinely think we
- 6:38should be thankful for the scraps. Well, here's the truth.
- 6:42We don't owe them respect, We don't owe them thanks,
- 6:44We don't owe them patients. We owe the survivors a
- 6:47hell of a lot more than an apology and a
- 6:50box or edactions. And if there was ever a question
- 6:53about whether there is a cover up happening, this is
- 6:55your flashing neon billboard. If you can't see it by now,
- 6:58there's no explaining it to you. You've already chosen your side,
- 7:02because the rest of us have eyes, and what we're
- 7:04seeing is a system actively protecting predators and punishing victims,
- 7:09a system that is terrified of light, a system that
- 7:13is cracking under its own rotten beams. Today's article is
- 7:18from ABC News and the headline law firms representing alleged
- 7:22Epstein victims send scathing letter over DOJ document release. This
- 7:28article was authored by Peter Charlembau and James Hill. When
- 7:34the House Oversight Committee released a trove of files and
- 7:36emails from the Epstein estate earlier this month, alleged victims
- 7:41of the convicted sex offender responded with widespread panic after
- 7:45learning the documents included dozens of unredacted victim names. Prominent
- 7:49attorneys for Epstein victims told a federal judge this week
- 7:54that should never happen, Like, wasn't that they're a big
- 7:57talking point. Oh, well, we want to make sure that
- 8:00the survivors are protected. Yeah. Sure. You want to make
- 8:03sure that Glenn Dubin's protected. You want to make sure
- 8:05that Leon Black's protected. You want to make sure that
- 8:08Donald Trump is protected. You don't give a fuck about
- 8:11the survivors. Stop it. I thought the government had promised
- 8:15to redact our names and identifying material. I don't understand
- 8:19how this is happening again, one alleged victim told attorneys
- 8:22Bradley Edwards and Britney Henderson with the Edward Henderson Law firm.
- 8:27According to a court filing on Wednesday, this type of
- 8:31negligence by the government to a survivor is just unable
- 8:34to comprehend. It is just impossible. Another alleged victim said,
- 8:39according to the filing, I don't understand how this is possible.
- 8:42I've been unable to mentally and emotionally function or sleep. Yet,
- 8:46another alleged victim wrote, per the court filing, And at
- 8:50this point, are we really going to call them alleged?
- 8:53Not when it comes to Epstein. Not for me, now
- 8:55the other people. Sure, if we're talking about you know,
- 8:58Leon Black or Dubin whatever. Sure, alleged is fine. There
- 9:02hasn't been an investigation. But the vast majority of these girls,
- 9:07they all got payouts from the compensation fund, They got
- 9:09payouts from Epstein himself. So what does that tell you,
- 9:13is that alleged If I'm paying you out a fat
- 9:15ass bag after you say that I assaulted you, we're
- 9:19gonna go with that it happened, Okay, especially when we're
- 9:22talking about somebody who's already been convicted of these same crimes.
- 9:26I don't think that's too big of a leap to make.
- 9:28With the Justice Department now facing a December nineteenth deadline
- 9:32to release hundreds of thousands of Epstein files as required
- 9:35by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the Edwards Henderson attorneys
- 9:39are calling on a federal judge to order the DOJ
- 9:42to improve their review policy to prevent another release of
- 9:46potentially sensitive information about alleged victims. And it's pretty convenient, huh,
- 9:52that every time there's a mistake, it falls on the
- 9:55side of the predator, falls on the side of the
- 9:57people that did the hurting, never on the side of
- 9:59the survivor. Right. I wonder why these women are not
- 10:03political pawns. They are mothers, wives, and daughters. These are
- 10:07women who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein in some instances
- 10:10by others, and who have already had their rights violated
- 10:13in the past by the government. The attorneys wrote in
- 10:16the filing to US District Court Judge Richard Berman. They
- 10:20are human beings who have the right to be treated
- 10:23with dignity and respect, and to feel safe and protected
- 10:26by our country, which has felled them time and time again.
- 10:30Is that too much of an ask? I mean, for real,
- 10:33are people asking for too much? When we're asking for
- 10:37actual justice, or at the very least, we're asking for
- 10:40a robust investigation. That's all anybody's ever asked for. But no,
- 10:46every time you turn around, there's another boot on the
- 10:49throat of justice, there's another shitty ass move by the
- 10:54DOJ or the court or somebody else involved. It's always
- 10:58the same story, isn't it always the same ass story?
- 11:02And if you don't see the pattern at this point,
- 11:04I don't even know what to tell you. According to
- 11:07the attorney's filing, the House Oversight release included the unredacted
- 11:11names and personal information of dozens of victims, including women
- 11:15who were miners at the time of their abuse. One
- 11:19document alone contained twenty eight unredacted names of alleged victim.
- 11:23The attorneys wrote. Based on the scope of the issue,
- 11:26the attorney said that they believe the DOJ either does
- 11:30not know the identities of all the victims of Jeffrey
- 11:33Epstein and thus cannot apply proper redactions to the files,
- 11:36or is intentionally failing to protect victims from public exposure.
- 11:41I'm going to go at door number two. They know
- 11:43exactly who the people are, and they've chosen to protect
- 11:46people and out others. This is how they roll, This
- 11:50is what they do, especially when you have a weaponized
- 11:54justice department the way we do right now. I mean,
- 11:57has there ever been a more incompetent justice department than
- 12:00the one we're seeing right now? I don't think so.
- 12:04While we will detail the various excuses that the court
- 12:07will no doubt be provided, this is absolutely unacceptable and
- 12:11a program that must be rectified prior to the public
- 12:14release of any additional documents, the Edward Henderson's attorneys wrote.
- 12:19The filing further noted that the DOJ publicly acknowledged in
- 12:23July that Epstein harmed over one thousand victims. Based on
- 12:26that statement, the attorney's asked in the filing that the
- 12:29court confirm with the DOJ that, prior to submitting the
- 12:33files to the House Oversight Committee, it undertook the onerous
- 12:37and necessary task of redacting all one thousand plus victim
- 12:41names that it had in its possession. God forbid, they
- 12:44do the right thing and a million dollars. They've spent
- 12:47a million dollars to do this, and they still fuck
- 12:49it up. Like many of you out there, I've spent
- 12:53most of my life in corporate America, and I'll tell
- 12:55you right now, if you fuck up like this, you're
- 12:58getting canned. There's no two ways about it. A million
- 13:01dollars spent and nothing coming back on the back end.
- 13:05And if this was not intentional, then this is being
- 13:08done by a bunch of people who are incompetent. And
- 13:11neither of those options gives me very much comfort on
- 13:14that point. At inquiry, the court will learn the DOJ's
- 13:17redaction process and its process efforts are so irreconcilable with
- 13:21a number of victims that has publicly acknowledged that, when
- 13:25confronted with a discrepancy, its responsibile end somewhere between incoherent mumbling,
- 13:30non sequitur and outright misrepresentation. The attorneys wrote, one hundred percent,
- 13:35like usual, They're going to try and dog walk us
- 13:37like they always do. The attorneys also allege the filing
- 13:41that the victims have been unable to contact the Department
- 13:44of Justice to prevent the same thing from happening again,
- 13:49despite numerous pleas for assistance. There is one singular entity
- 13:53that the victims cannot seem to find a way to
- 13:56engage and which has been the primary violator of the
- 13:59victims identity protection thus far, the Department of Justice. They wrote, so,
- 14:04while Glane Maxwell is eating Chick fil A and doing
- 14:07downward Dog, the survivors can't even get anyone on the
- 14:11Justice Department on the phone. I mean, you would think
- 14:14that Todd Baby Billy Blanche would want to talk to
- 14:16the survivors, right, But no, because it was never about justice.
- 14:21It was never about finding out what went down. It
- 14:23was about making sure that their homie Gleanne Maxwell got
- 14:26preferential treatment. That's what it came down to. With the
- 14:30DOJ already possessing hundreds of thousands of Epstein documents, The
- 14:34attorneys also cast out about the Trump administration's intention and
- 14:38seeking out separate grand jury material. The DOJ has asked
- 14:42judges in New York and Florida to authorize the release
- 14:46of grand jury transcripts and exhibits from the prosecution of
- 14:49Epstein and Maxwell, information that is typically not made public.
- 14:55Before the passage of the Epstein's File Transparency Act, the
- 14:58DOJ made similar requests that were denied by the judges,
- 15:03and that was all by design. I'm not gonna rehash
- 15:05all of that, but they did that on purpose. They
- 15:08wanted to say, look, we're doing something, when in reality
- 15:11they ain't doing shit. This incredibly small and largely irrelevant
- 15:16subset of grand jury material seems to serve as nothing
- 15:19more than the DOJ's perpetual distraction from providing the American
- 15:23people with the full transparency as it relates to Jeffrey
- 15:27Epstein while protecting the victims. The filing states. The Edward
- 15:31Tenderson attorneys asked Judge Berman to order the Department of
- 15:35Justice to clarify what documents they plan to release and
- 15:39the process for redacting them. He also requested the ability
- 15:43to confer with the DOJ to ensure that a complete
- 15:46list of victims' names is used in the redaction process.
- 15:50Is that too much to ask for? Are they asking
- 15:53the Department of Justice to do more than they should?
- 15:56Of course they're not. Judge Berman responded to the letter
- 16:00Wednesday by ordering the Department of Justice by noon Monday,
- 16:03December first, to provide a detailed description of the material
- 16:07they seek to release and a detailed description of the
- 16:10privacy process, including any redactions the government seeks to employ
- 16:14to protect the rights of Epstein victims. In a separate
- 16:18filing on Wednesday, US Attorney J. Clayton said his office
- 16:22would confer with counsel for known victims concerning names and
- 16:25terms for withholding and redactions. Probably should have done that earlier, HANJ. Clayton,
- 16:31Mister Apollo Global. Clayton also clarified the breadth of the
- 16:35documents the Department of Justice seeks to release, including notes
- 16:39from witness interviews, search warrant applications, financial and travel records,
- 16:44grand jury subpoena returns, school records, materials from the Epstein
- 16:49estate and law enforcement records. Look, guys, the truth is
- 16:53this is what the system actually looks like when the
- 16:56curtain rips open. A machine designed to grind the powerless
- 16:59into us while polishing the boots of the people who
- 17:02built it. A machine that still can't admit what it is,
- 17:06even while standing ankled deep in its own sewage. They
- 17:10didn't protect survivors because they never intended to. They didn't
- 17:14make a mistake. They followed priority. The rich stay unnamed,
- 17:17and the broken get broken again. It's the same formula
- 17:21that has run this country for decades, maybe longer, and
- 17:24they're not even embarrassed enough to hide it well anymore.
- 17:27So let them issue their statements, let them shrug and
- 17:30call it a clerical error, Let them smile in front
- 17:32of the cameras and pretend they care. Unfortunately for them,
- 17:36everyone already knows the truth. The predators are protected, the
- 17:40victims are disposable, and the institutions that swear they stand
- 17:44for justice are nothing more than pr departments for the powerful.
- 17:48And there's nothing spiritual or heroic that is waiting to
- 17:52swoop in and fix this. This is the world exactly
- 17:55as it is This is what they think of the
- 17:57people they failed. This is the level of contempt they
- 18:00operate with, and the only thing they're sorry about is
- 18:03that they got caught being this obvious. All of the
- 18:07information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 18:10the description box
