YG2K 38: Joe Morton and the ER That Never Was
It's a sad day. Not because we have to keep watching bad shows, but because we must mourn the failure of a good one. In this weeks episode, we discuss Mercy Point, a short lived sci-fi medical drama that actually knew what it was doing. It could have been the missing link between ER and Star Trek, but instead is was a footnote in UPN's catalog. We get into everything from Joe Morton's blessing to sci-fi, Mr. Data's long lost daughter, and what exactly make a sci-fi medical drama tick.
Today's modern recommendation is Lisa Frankenstein (2024).
