  Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man o man o man. Grateful

  Speaker 1: for it. Come through a huge amount of responsibility. I

  Speaker 1: didn't really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,

  Speaker 1: you know. Can I share something with y'all? I started

  Speaker 1: out to Finally I had gotten on track and was

  Speaker 1: able to see a way to even pursue my dream.

  Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've

  Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.

  Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.

  Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me, let me put

  Speaker 1: it together, because I got so much running through my

  Speaker 1: head right now. You know, it's it's one thing to

  Speaker 1: accomplish your dreams, but there's joy in the process of

  Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,

  Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: than the average person to know what it is you
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: really want to do, to find your work in life,
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: go in is such a blessing. The average person, if
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: you looking at you think, God it going on because
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger. Oh they walk like it,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: and you are.
• 2:20
  Speaker 2: On your way there, you are truly blessed.
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: And in that blessing you must recognize it as a blessing.

  Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: right side and that there should be a sense of
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: so on the grindstone.

  Speaker 2: That I wouldn't even look up and realize.

  Speaker 1: Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to get here,

  Speaker 1: but Steve, hold on, Man, can't you see what you've
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: done so far? Can't you find just some joy in
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: the process. See, a lot of us lose the joy
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: of the blessings God has given us because we looking
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: at the end talking about I ain't there yet, you
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: on your way. I'm gonna give you an example. I
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: had a friend who told me that they wanted to
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: be a millionaire. And they asked me some questions and
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: I told them, so they started the process. And I
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: am telling you, this dude works extremely hard. So about
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: a year later we were talking. He had found this business,
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: he had set his goal, and he was working towards it.
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: Then about two years later I ran up into him again.

  Speaker 1: We were talking about it and everything. He said, Man,
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: I really really appreciate the advice. He said, Man, but
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: this is all jacked up, man, because I still ain't
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: made that million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: just keep at it's coming. He said, Man, keep at it.

  Speaker 2: Man.

  Speaker 1: You know how long I've been doing this been two
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: years now. And I didn't say that to him, but

  Speaker 1: I said to myself. Yeah, two years, he said, Man,

  Speaker 1: I've been grinding so long, man, it just it ain't
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: happening for me. I said, wait a minute, man, holld on,
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you making right
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: now a year?

  Speaker 2: Man? About two hundred and fifty thousand.

  Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, whoa, my man. Two years

  Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, man,
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: ago you done bought a house.
• 4:49
  Speaker 2: Yeah, man, but this ain't the house. I really won't. Oh, oh, partner,
• 4:53
  Speaker 2: whoa I got that? I got that? The house? You
• 4:56
  Speaker 2: really won't make Mike call fied eight million. I don't know.

  Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house, you making a payment,
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: you drive it. You ain't out no more? I said,
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: old man, you got to stop. I said, you got
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: to stop. I said, man, because right now, man, you
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: you coming across. That's real ungrateful to me. And so
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: he said, man, why are you tripping like that?
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: Man?

  Speaker 1: Man, you act like don't nobody want to have nothing
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: but you? I said, whoa man, where are you going

  Speaker 1: with this conversation? I said, Oh, I didn't come to you.

  Speaker 1: I just came to you and asked you how you doing.

  Speaker 1: And I'm trying to point out to you that the

  Speaker 1: journey that you started on, that you are on your way,
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: and you are in the process of accomplishing your goals.

  Speaker 1: And can you not feel some joy and some pleasure
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: in your accomplishment. Quit tripping on the fact that you
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: ain't made a million yet.
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: You on your way. You done went.

  Speaker 1: From he thought this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: a year. You making quarter of a million dollars in
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: two years. Man, Come on, man, can't you see can't
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: you see?

  Speaker 2: So? He said? Eventually, Ah, man, I kind of see
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: what you saying.

  Speaker 1: But that ain't about nothing to me because I ran
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: up into him a year and have later. How you doing, man, man,

  Speaker 1: I sure wish I'd appreciated my life when I had

  Speaker 1: it like that?

  Speaker 2: I said, what you mean, had it like that? Man?

  Speaker 1: Just fell on some hard times. Man, right back where

  Speaker 1: I was, And then we talked. I said, hey, man,

  Speaker 1: don't worry about it. I said, Once you know how
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: to accomplish something, I said, you just reapply the same
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: principles and start on over again. Man, you know how
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: hard it is to be to start over. Okay, my man,
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: Hold up, pardoner, you've been do yourself like this again.

  Speaker 1: First you wasn't grateful for what you had. Now you're
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: looking at the fact that you might have to start over,
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: and you know how hard it is to start over.

  Speaker 1: Maybe God said, Okay, you ain't happy with this. Okay,
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: didn't handle it your way. You obviously ain't happy with
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: the way I'm bringing it into your life. You want
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: to handle it your way, Go ahead and hand it
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: because he will let you have it your way. Can
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: I tell you that he will let you do it
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: exactly the way you want to it, because he gives
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: us all the power choice. So then maybe he said, Okay,

  Speaker 1: I don't appreciate the way I'm doing it. You don't

  Speaker 1: like the favor I'm showing you. You think it's taken
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: too long. I'm gonna let you do it your way.

  Speaker 1: I'm not gonna turn my back on you. I'm just
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. Just just say.

  Speaker 1: Maybe he said that, and now he right back where
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: it was. So what I tried to get the young
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: cat to understand was man. Appreciate your life for what
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: it is, because, like like Jenny's got that song that
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: he got out off this album. Still, I still believe
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: it could have been worse. And now that it is worse,
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: what's on your mind now, folks? If you are on
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: that side of life where you have figured out what
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: you want to do, you know how you're gonna get that,
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: and you know your purpose. You're accomplishing what the majority
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: of people never ever do. So be grateful for your process.
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: Don't tumble yourself, don't throw yourself off the cliff. It's
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Success takes a measure of time.

  Speaker 1: It is not easy. If success were easy, everybody would
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: be successful.
