- 0:00Speaker 1: Well the ninety six one Kiss Morning Freak Show. You're
- 0:03Speaker 1: doing all right here, Bob. We all right. I've been
- 0:06Speaker 1: kind of in a funk for the last few days. Yeah,
- 0:08Speaker 1: a little off.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I wonder if it's the weather change. There's no depression. Yeah,
- 0:14Speaker 2: like you know, we felt the sun, fear the sun
- 0:16Speaker 2: on our skin.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We felt the sun short sixty degrees.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you were dancing around here in shorts and now
- 0:24Speaker 2: just cold and snowy again.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Now we're just getting snow again.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Enough, turn it off, turn it off the snow machinery. Yeah, okay,
- 0:35Speaker 2: Text text Scott Harbaugh from w p XI right now
- 0:39Speaker 2: and tell him Harbaugh, harp boss wherever the weather machine is.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Shut it down hard. Well, you've had enough, turn it off.
- 0:47Speaker 1: All right. Good morning.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's Mikey and Bob the ninety six one Kiss Morning
- 0:51Speaker 2: Freak Show. My wife Jamie hasn't been feeling good the
- 0:53Speaker 2: last couple of days. And she can deal with like
- 0:56Speaker 2: a migraine for like four days and ah, she's just
- 1:01Speaker 2: not feeling great. So it hasn't been you know, too
- 1:04Speaker 2: great at at home, just watching her suffering pain and
- 1:08Speaker 2: you know, a debilitating migrain where she can't really do much.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And you know, Liz, I'm just so glad, and I
- 1:15Speaker 2: know that not everybody's in the same situation as me.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But if you have the ability to own seven cats,
- 1:21Speaker 2: I would say do it, because I'm telling you there
- 1:25Speaker 2: is no therapy like going home and having seven cats
- 1:30Speaker 2: excited to see you and.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They don't all come running at one time.
- 1:34Speaker 2: When you come home. If you have the ways it
- 1:36Speaker 2: means to acquire seven cats, do it. Absolutely do it
- 1:40Speaker 2: to do it. It just makes my It makes me
- 1:42Speaker 2: so happy every time I see my cat. Well, whye
- 1:44Speaker 2: pack here for my Everybody feel a little down. You
- 1:48Speaker 2: might have some season, all the prejudice. Go buy seven cats,
- 1:51Speaker 2: Go get them. Go get seven cats right now. Don't
- 1:54Speaker 2: make you smile?
- 1:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:55Speaker 2: If you missed it. On yesterday's show, we may have
- 1:57Speaker 2: had the Florida Story of the Year. We will get
- 2:00Speaker 2: to that again coming up around seven six twenty five
- 2:03Speaker 2: here real soon. And then also two local Wendy's have
- 2:06Speaker 2: made the Pittsburgh Police scanner.
- 2:08Speaker 1: We'll get to that around six forty.
- 2:10Speaker 2: It's mikey Bob, Good Morning, ninety six one. We always
- 2:14Speaker 2: want you to participate in the show because most morning
- 2:17Speaker 2: shows you have a whole you know, crew of people,
- 2:19Speaker 2: four or five people. It's just me and Bob in here,
- 2:22Speaker 2: and that's how it's been for over twenty years now.
- 2:24Speaker 2: So we always like to say you're the third person
- 2:27Speaker 2: on the show. So if you want to participate in
- 2:29Speaker 2: the show, you got anything to tell us, you can
- 2:31Speaker 2: download our free iHeartRadio app, send us a talkback message,
- 2:35Speaker 2: or as always, you can still call the radio station.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I forgot the number. Four one two yeah, one.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Oh.
- 2:46Speaker 1: We don't give away the phone number as much as
- 2:48Speaker 1: we used to.
- 2:48Speaker 2: All right, let's get to this talkback message brought to
- 2:50Speaker 2: us by One Team Media.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Good morning guys.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I was calling in just to say, if you are
- 2:57Speaker 3: interested in more Olympics awesome actions. Yeah, you can check
- 3:01Speaker 3: out the Paralympics in March starting the sixth through the fifteenth.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so yeah, if you're still interested in that,
- 3:10Speaker 3: I would say check that out.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 3:12Speaker 5: I think I think I might be in the give
- 3:15Speaker 5: it me. I think I might be in You know
- 3:17Speaker 5: why I was. I was watching some mixed wheelchair curly
- 3:24Speaker 5: really bro that is awesome.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll run the same time too, Like many let's
- 3:35Speaker 2: go yesterday in the after room, like what I know.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I did not I did not know what to watch it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I did not know what to do. I actually just
- 3:44Speaker 2: edited video, which I was usually doing during the Olympics.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Anyway, I didn't know what to watch. I don't know
- 3:49Speaker 1: what to watch. Olympics is the greatest, like background it
- 3:52Speaker 1: is ever, It's good. It's great.
- 3:54Speaker 2: By the way, the ratings for the Olympics came out
- 3:57Speaker 2: in the United States averaged about twenty three point five
- 4:02Speaker 2: million viewers. That is the best Winner Games since twenty fourteen,
- 4:08Speaker 2: so over a decade best Olympics ratings. And this is
- 4:13Speaker 2: still like Pittsburgh was the fourth biggest market in the
- 4:17Speaker 2: United States for the Olympics, like Olympic viewing, fourth most
- 4:20Speaker 2: watched city. Yeah, three was Fort Myers, Florida, two was Minneapolis,
- 4:25Speaker 2: one was Milwaukee.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So it's kind of weird, you know.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I mean, yes, there were Pittsburgh ties to the Olympics,
- 4:32Speaker 2: but it wasn't like we had one person who was.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Like going for four golds and everybody like locked in.
- 4:38Speaker 2: But it's crazy just shows you like, you know a
- 4:41Speaker 2: lot of us don't think about the Olympics until they're
- 4:43Speaker 2: actually here. And yeah, Pittsburgh definitely showed up in the
- 4:47Speaker 2: ratings there, but like twenty three and a half million
- 4:50Speaker 2: people watching the Olympics, it's very hard. Other than like
- 4:52Speaker 2: football games, like NFL games, it's very hard to get
- 4:56Speaker 2: those ratings anymore with like linear TV. Next the average
- 4:59Speaker 2: over like two weeks of watching, so that's wild. Yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 2: it's pretty impressive. Coming up next on the show if
- 5:05Speaker 2: you missed it yesterday, we have the Florida story maybe
- 5:08Speaker 2: of the year, A drunk guy, a stranger's pool, the
- 5:10Speaker 2: Cia French Fries. We will get to that. Coming up
- 5:14Speaker 2: next on the Kiss Morning Freak Show, it's Mikey and Bob.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Basics, like the Mikey and Bob podcast.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, I have no by the way,
- 5:23Speaker 2: I don't know what I was gonna say. I thought
- 5:25Speaker 2: there was a by the way there there was no
- 5:27Speaker 2: by the way, screams of Mikey and Bob podcast on
- 5:30Speaker 2: iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcast. I can't wait
- 5:35Speaker 2: for Wednesday because two new episodes of Love Is Blind?
- 5:41Speaker 1: How locked in are you on this season? I love watch.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It's like it is not wait till Thursday or Friday,
- 5:48Speaker 2: or wait till the weekend. Episode ten and eleven for
- 5:51Speaker 2: this season. Love is Blind on Netflix comes out tomorrow Wednesday,
- 5:55Speaker 2: and I cannot wait. All right, let's get down to Florida.
- 5:59Speaker 2: There's always weird thing happening down in the state of Florida.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Florida store. He's been a staple on our show for years.
- 6:04Speaker 2: This may be the Florida story of the year. Here
- 6:07Speaker 2: we go, all the listeners of the Freak Show. It's
- 6:10Speaker 2: time to double to the sun. Time stink. Yes, it
- 6:14Speaker 2: happened again.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It's another Florida story. To Florida we go.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Drunk man is accused of breaking into someone's Lenai and
- 6:21Speaker 2: Port Charlotte, then falling into their pool.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Christopher's a brick. He claim to be a CIA agent.
- 6:27Speaker 2: How do you know who he was?
- 6:28Speaker 1: All right?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Now, this guy that you just heard from here, I
- 6:31Speaker 2: didn't know who he was. That is somebody who lives
- 6:34Speaker 2: in the neighborhood named Rusty. They interview this guy named Rusty.
- 6:38Speaker 1: How do you know he was?
- 6:39Speaker 2: He has a cowboy hat on and is drinking a
- 6:42Speaker 2: Corse light during his news interview. Again, Rusty's not the
- 6:46Speaker 2: guy that's fill in the pool.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Neighbor down the street.
- 6:48Speaker 2: That's the guy who drank too much vodka, ended up
- 6:50Speaker 2: a mile from his home and wanted to.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Go for a dip.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Deputy say, he drank so much vodka Thursday afternoon.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He told them he forgot where he lived.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah there, okay, So again that's Rusty, who has
- 7:03Speaker 2: nothing to do with the story. They're telling Rusty the story.
- 7:06Speaker 2: He's like, yeah, drinking, drink a bunch of an forgot
- 7:09Speaker 2: where you live? Hena, yeah, yeah, I've been there. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 2: it's a cowboy hat on drinking a corse.
- 7:14Speaker 7: The couple that lives in this house told me a
- 7:17Speaker 7: stranger knocked on their door asking to stay for a
- 7:20Speaker 7: few days.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Can I just stay for a few days the old
- 7:22Speaker 2: Florida Airbnb, He told him.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Go bother someone else.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 6: He instead of leaving ZABRICKI made his way inside their
- 7:29Speaker 6: the nine.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I gotta shove my boot so far up as didn't
- 7:33Speaker 2: taste some leather for a week. Again, Florida newsneys can
- 7:39Speaker 2: bring Rusty in for everything to comment on every Florida story.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Let him do the weather.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Who can be like a Florida commentator? Again, it's a
- 7:49Speaker 2: it's a neighbor named Rusty. You had nothing to do.
- 7:51Speaker 1: With the story. He's got a cowboy hat on. He's
- 7:53Speaker 1: drinking a corpse light.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And you know if it would have been his house,
- 7:57Speaker 2: if you would a wait from the Rusty school. I
- 7:59Speaker 2: was to shove my boot so far up, didn't taste
- 8:03Speaker 2: some leather for away.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You don't want to mess with Rusty, they called. Moments later,
- 8:08Speaker 1: they heard us splash.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Okay, all right, So again this guy's too drunk, doesn't
- 8:12Speaker 2: know where he's at, doesn't know where he lived, and
- 8:13Speaker 2: now has fallen into a stranger's pool.
- 8:15Speaker 3: The stranger fell through their pool cover into the pool,
- 8:19Speaker 3: then climbed out of the pool and knocked on the door.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Okay, what do you think he wants? Do you think
- 8:24Speaker 2: he wants some place to stay? He already got denied.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That, this time asking for French fries.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Oh, he just wants French fries, towel and a towel, please,
- 8:32Speaker 2: French fries and a towel.
- 8:33Speaker 1: All right, So he's so drunk he fell in a pool.
- 8:36Speaker 1: He's a mile away from his house.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Knock knock, I need a towel and I need some
- 8:40Speaker 2: French fries. Well we're gonna hear from Rusty again, right,
- 8:44Speaker 2: what's rough? Do you think about that again? Russy's just
- 8:46Speaker 2: a high witness who lives in the neighborhood. He's wearing
- 8:48Speaker 2: a cowboy hat, drinking cors light.
- 8:50Speaker 8: Niked, was he niked?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Rusty asking the hard questions? Thank god, you do I
- 9:01Speaker 1: want to be seeing him?
- 9:02Speaker 9: Pecker's there in your backyard.
- 9:06Speaker 1: No you don't, Rusty, No you don't.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Last thing I want to see in my backyard it
- 9:18Speaker 2: is Florida making the show once.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Agaein the Mikey and Bob.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Podcast, Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and
- 9:28Speaker 2: Bob podcast.

- 9:43Speaker 2: Previous shows, the latest show, something you want us to
- 9:47Speaker 2: cover on the show.

- 9:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's fun too, right people in random places?
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, hit that little talkback microphone and you can send
- 9:57Speaker 2: us a message and may you'll make the show. We
- 10:03Speaker 2: do have a round of Facebook comments to do on
- 10:05Speaker 2: the show today around seven forty We're gonna read some
- 10:08Speaker 2: of the Facebook comments because Duncan is testing in Massachusetts
- 10:13Speaker 2: right now. A massive forty eight ounce drink bucket. It's
- 10:18Speaker 2: literally a bucket. The biggest at Duncan right now is
- 10:24Speaker 2: like twenty four ounces, so they said no, no, double it.
- 10:29Speaker 2: A forty eight ounce drink bucket. I don't know how
- 10:32Speaker 2: you hold this in a car. I don't know how
- 10:34Speaker 2: you drink this without two hands. I saw people running
- 10:36Speaker 2: yesterday on TikTok to get it because of course, you know, yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 2: you got to dan reaction, and nobody knew what the
- 10:42Speaker 2: hell to do with it in their car. Yeah, once
- 10:43Speaker 2: you get in your car, it's all fun and games
- 10:45Speaker 2: until you have to like dry with a forty eight
- 10:47Speaker 2: ounce bucket of coffee. We will get to eat Duncan
- 10:50Speaker 2: forty eight ounce drink bucket. Facebook comments around seven forty
- 10:55Speaker 2: On the Kiss Morning Freak Show, it's Mikey and Bob
- 10:58Speaker 2: right now, it's time to check in the Pittsburgh Police
- 11:00Speaker 2: scanner again. The Pittsburgh Police scanners just a couple of
- 11:03Speaker 2: wonderful people who will listen to the scanner. And you know,
- 11:07Speaker 2: not everything makes the news. There's some things that the
- 11:09Speaker 2: police get called for. Somebody calls you know, nine one,
- 11:12Speaker 2: one four and it's not really an emergency right sure,
- 11:15Speaker 2: but it makes the Pittsburgh Police Scanner. They have their
- 11:18Speaker 2: own website pghdash scanner dot com. It is time to
- 11:21Speaker 2: check in and find out what is happening and around
- 11:26Speaker 2: our city. Pittsburgh Police Scanner, Bloomfield, Boom Boulevard.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Wendy's.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Oh caller says that they're arguing with the store manager
- 11:36Speaker 2: and she's gonna call her boyfriend, bringing.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Him back up from home.
- 11:41Speaker 2: She's gonna call her boyfriend to come down and beat
- 11:44Speaker 2: the caller's ass.
- 11:46Speaker 1: The call her has taken an exception to this. I'm
- 11:50Speaker 1: telling you, we do.
- 11:51Speaker 2: A lot of Pittsburgh Police scanners that have to do
- 11:54Speaker 2: with local Wendy's for whatever reason.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they usually they know how to fight the employees,
- 11:58Speaker 1: not to fight.
- 11:58Speaker 2: There combat trains. Where are these employees to watch somebody's
- 12:03Speaker 2: argue with the store manager? What's first of all, like
- 12:06Speaker 2: arguing at fast food places? Just move on with your day,
- 12:10Speaker 2: you know, there's nothing worth arguing. She's like, all right,
- 12:13Speaker 2: you think she's talking, keep talking.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Listen.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I don't have my trained fighters with me right now,
- 12:18Speaker 2: but my boyfriend's not that far away and he will
- 12:20Speaker 2: come in this Wendy He's in Kick your Ass. Also
- 12:23Speaker 2: happening downtown Cherry Way. Caller says she's disputing with her sister.
- 12:30Speaker 2: She thinks that her sister loosened all the lugnuts on
- 12:32Speaker 2: her tire because it fell off when she started to drive.
- 12:37Speaker 1: All right, listen, sis, you know you can get in
- 12:42Speaker 1: an argument, there might be an altercation.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Your tire falls off, and you call the police. And
- 12:46Speaker 2: my sister did this. You can't do that. Like, I'm
- 12:49Speaker 2: not saying you can't call police for that. You can
- 12:52Speaker 2: if you're the other sister and that's what you did,
- 12:54Speaker 2: you can't do that.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You're not you're putting your sister, but.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Other you're putting the public in harm's way, you know,
- 13:00Speaker 2: Like it seems like a problem.
- 13:01Speaker 1: All right, let's get back to Wendy's.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Now, allighany West Wendy's. This this is the one.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That they don't play.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Caller reports that a food fight has broken out at
- 13:13Speaker 2: the Thunderdome Wendy's. By the way, he doesn't say who's
- 13:20Speaker 2: throwing the food. It might be employees throwing it at customers.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You know, if it's not. If you start that fight,
- 13:25Speaker 1: those employees will end it. Guaranteed. That's right. You started,
- 13:30Speaker 1: that'll end it. Don't try to be cute. You might
- 13:32Speaker 1: be able to play a little bit at the other Wendy's.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That Allighanty West.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Wendy's is making the Pittsburgh Police scanner all the time,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and usually it's the employee saying, come on, all fun
- 13:43Speaker 2: and games, throwing that bacon eator around. A big earl
- 13:48Speaker 2: comes out of the back at the Thunderdome Wendy's Alleghany
- 13:54Speaker 2: Allighany West.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Earl's a fighter, he's been waiting for this.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, he just wants he's gonna start of
- 14:00Speaker 2: a baconator in your mouth and make you tap of.
- 14:03Speaker 2: That's what's happening in and around our city. Dang all right,
- 14:09Speaker 2: we will get to h Duncan forty eight ounced drink
- 14:12Speaker 2: bucket Facebook comments around seven forty Also got your chance
- 14:16Speaker 2: at Don Tolliver tickets around eight thirty.
- 14:18Speaker 1: It's Mikey Bob.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's cold out again today. Hi's in the low thirties,
- 14:23Speaker 2: cloudy today with some snow in the h in the forecast.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Are we supposed to get a couple of inches like
- 14:28Speaker 2: through Thursday? Yeah, I guess tonight like late night, tonight
- 14:31Speaker 2: and into tomorrow. It's supposed to hit again for a
- 14:35Speaker 2: couple inches. I mean, that's all manageable. Did you see
- 14:39Speaker 2: what happened like out east? Just dude, some places got
- 14:44Speaker 2: how is this three.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Feet of snow? If we get hit three feet of snow,
- 14:48Speaker 1: if we get.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Hit with one of those right now, you might not
- 14:50Speaker 2: see me. I might not leave the house. It might
- 14:52Speaker 2: take me months to recover. I might really do bear hibernation. Yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 2: if we got three feet of snow like of the
- 15:00Speaker 2: East coast, heading up talking, put shorts back on, seriously,
- 15:06Speaker 2: feed me the right things that are gonna plug me
- 15:08Speaker 2: up so I don't go to the bathroom.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But it's time to go into hibernation. Yeah, it's weird, man.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You look at the weather maps and everything, and we
- 15:14Speaker 2: just missed that massive snowstorm. Hey, you know, we got
- 15:17Speaker 2: a little bit, we got a little dusting, but geez,
- 15:19Speaker 2: there's really some places got three feet three feet of snow.
- 15:23Speaker 2: How do you even shovel that? How do you even
- 15:25Speaker 2: snow blow three feet of snow? You gotta take a
- 15:29Speaker 2: flamethrower to it, all right, If something burns, something burns.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It was it was just supposed to burn anyway. All right,
- 15:36Speaker 2: it is right around seven o'clock. Time to get to
- 15:38Speaker 2: today in Freak Show History, where we take you back
- 15:39Speaker 2: to a moment in the show that made us laugh,
- 15:41Speaker 2: made us smile.
- 15:42Speaker 1: It actually has to do with the weather man with gas.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Here we go today today.
- 15:57Speaker 2: This was from a weather man in Louisville, Kentucky. This
- 16:02Speaker 2: guy stopped his weather report, raised up like on his
- 16:05Speaker 2: tippy toes. Of fart noise came through, and then he
- 16:09Speaker 2: kept it moving. This was from w d RB in Louisville, Kentucky,
- 16:14Speaker 2: Chief meteorologist Mark Weinberg.
- 16:17Speaker 1: This was his weather report. The next part of the
- 16:20Speaker 1: question is how much colder.
- 16:21Speaker 10: Well, you'll notice we've already gotten thirties in Evansville where
- 16:24Speaker 10: the transition has occurred, and it's forty two in Bedford.
- 16:27Speaker 10: I just want to show you how cold this air is. Okay,
- 16:32Speaker 10: it's aiden to Onye, Iowa.
- 16:34Speaker 2: This has to be set up right. He goes with,
- 16:36Speaker 2: I just want to show you how cold it is.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It's such a long pause, the pause, and then he
- 16:41Speaker 2: lifts up like he almost goes on his tippy toes,
- 16:45Speaker 2: because you see him like raise up a little bit
- 16:47Speaker 2: like his shoulders moved.
- 16:48Speaker 10: I just want to show you how cold this air is.
- 16:53Speaker 10: It's aiden to Wine, Iowa.
- 16:54Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Like, I feel like this is just the setup, right,
- 16:57Speaker 2: Like I don't feel like this was legit during an
- 17:00Speaker 2: actual broadcast where a weather person would stop their weather report,
- 17:07Speaker 2: not only wouldn't be smarter of you just talked over
- 17:09Speaker 2: top of the fighter.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Listen.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I bet there's weather people and newspeople especially people are
- 17:14Speaker 2: doing live reports on the street. I bet they're juicing
- 17:16Speaker 2: them all the time. Yeah, all the time, man, all
- 17:19Speaker 2: of the time. But this guy inside with the green
- 17:23Speaker 2: screen doing the weather report, he stops. He not only
- 17:27Speaker 2: makes the fart audible, but he raises up.
- 17:30Speaker 10: Just want to show you how cold this air is.
- 17:35Speaker 10: It's aid into Wye, Iowa.
- 17:36Speaker 1: All right now.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Some of the responses to this where alternate headline weatherman
- 17:41Speaker 2: can't control wind. Another one he felt a movement from
- 17:44Speaker 2: the east. Another one, I think it was a warm
- 17:47Speaker 2: front moving in from the south.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Just want to show you how cold this air is.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I mean, it's too perfect, right. Another response was it's
- 17:58Speaker 2: just a warm front coming in. Someone else responded, more
- 18:01Speaker 2: like a warm backs want.
- 18:02Speaker 10: To show you how cold this air is. It's eight
- 18:07Speaker 10: in to one Iowa.
- 18:08Speaker 2: And another response to this again weather guy farting on
- 18:11Speaker 2: the air.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It appears in Louisville, Kentucky.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Somebody said Buddy did a double leg lift like he
- 18:16Speaker 2: was about to blast off into space.
- 18:18Speaker 10: He definitely case closed. I want to show you how
- 18:20Speaker 10: cold this air is. It's eight into one Iowa.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I know it's only Tuesday, but now that we are
- 18:30Speaker 2: in the lent season and every Friday is fish Fry

- 18:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, very musical today. Yeah, song in my heart.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It's got to get out, Mike, you Bob. It is
- 19:04Speaker 2: the ninety six to one Kiss Morning Freak Show. Let's
- 19:07Speaker 2: get to a talkback message here, brought to us by

- 19:11Speaker 4: show The Pit. I haven't seen it yet or anything.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Okay, well we're judging you right now. What are you
- 19:17Speaker 2: doing not watching the Pit. It's called The Pit with
- 19:19Speaker 2: two t's. It's in Pittsburgh show. Okay, I have a question.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Okay, it's no that. But he gets really excited about
- 19:26Speaker 4: the references for Pittsburgh.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah, we do.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I thought it was filmed in Pittsburgh. Maybe I'm wrong,
- 19:32Speaker 4: So I guess, you know, those things should be expected.
- 19:34Speaker 4: I just to understand the hype. Just looking for some clarification,
- 19:38Speaker 4: I guess. And like I said, I haven't seen it,
- 19:40Speaker 4: so I'm just kind of curious. Thanks. Boys.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they do film, uh, some of it
- 19:44Speaker 2: here in Pittsburgh. I think they film all the outdoor
- 19:46Speaker 2: stuff here, but like, yeah, the indoor stuff hospital it's
- 19:49Speaker 2: on like a sound stage, yeah, West Coast California or whatever.
- 19:53Speaker 2: But yeah, they do film scenes here, but the entire show,
- 19:56Speaker 2: like inside the hospital, that's not filmed.
- 19:58Speaker 1: That's not filmed here anything.
- 20:00Speaker 2: But yeah, the Pittsburgh references are are great because they
- 20:03Speaker 2: mentioned you know, like cities that aren't pit you know,
- 20:07Speaker 2: like Greenfield, and there's a lot of cities that get
- 20:10Speaker 2: named Kenny Wood gets you know, referenced, and it's just
- 20:13Speaker 2: what we do here in Pittsburgh.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And Belly's got name dropped a couple of weeks back.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, louis whole backstory. Yeah, I know, like, yeah, there is.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I mean, if you love Pittsburgh, you're gonna love the
- 20:23Speaker 2: show because they just it's a major show.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's just one best drama.
- 20:28Speaker 2: And it's a good sprinkling of Pittsburgh where only Pittsburgh
- 20:31Speaker 2: people or if you lived at some point in Pittsburg,
- 20:33Speaker 2: you're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it. Yeah, it's pretty Uh,
- 20:36Speaker 2: it's pretty sweet. I got a message here from Carrie
- 20:40Speaker 2: from beaver Falls. Wanted to play this year, says send
- 20:44Speaker 2: a video here. Here is my son, who just turned three,

- 20:54Speaker 2: Rainbow Connection. Absolutely love when Kerman the Frog sings Rainbow Connection.
- 20:58Speaker 2: All is right with the world, you know, feeling a

- 22:35Speaker 2: hundred and twenty miles an hour, gets arrested for it,
- 22:39Speaker 2: and blames McDonald's.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Somehow.
- 22:42Speaker 2: We will get to that weird Florida story coming up
- 22:44Speaker 2: around seven to fifty five on the Kiss Morning Freak Show.
- 22:47Speaker 1: It is Mikey and Bob and it's time to say
- 22:50Speaker 1: something nice.
- 22:50Speaker 2: We've been doing this for a little while on the
- 22:52Speaker 2: show because you know a lot of people, it's it's
- 22:54Speaker 2: tough to watch the news and be positive. There's a
- 22:57Speaker 2: lot of bad going on, so we just want to

- 24:15Speaker 11: dynamic of friendship, but being a coworker, and it's just
- 24:19Speaker 11: important to slow things down and let each other know
- 24:23Speaker 11: how much you appreciate each other and how much more
- 24:26Speaker 11: difficult your life would be without one another. And so
- 24:30Speaker 11: I just wanted to take a second to send a

- 25:27Speaker 2: they've come out with a looks like a beach bucket,
- 25:29Speaker 2: a forty eight ounce drink bucket you can get coffee,
- 25:32Speaker 2: or like a refresher in Sandpale. No, it's not available
- 25:36Speaker 2: everywhere yet. They're just testing it out in like the
- 25:38Speaker 2: Massachusetts area, right, because that's Duncan headquarters. Whatever, but we

- 26:39Speaker 2: It basically costs about ten bucks and you can get forty.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Eight ounces of coffee.
- 26:45Speaker 2: The largest size at Duncan is twenty four ounces. It
- 26:50Speaker 2: looks like like, honestly, like one of the sand pails
- 26:53Speaker 2: you take to the beach if you got a little
- 26:55Speaker 2: kid into play in the sand. Like you said, Bob,
- 26:57Speaker 2: there's a lot of influencers who are getting it from

- 28:01Speaker 1: good point. My husband won't let me get.
- 28:02Speaker 2: The large anymore because it says it gives me coffee muscles.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Last time I had a large, I tried to climb
- 28:08Speaker 2: my fence to knock down a bee's nest in the tree.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I hit the nest and then fell on the fence,
- 28:12Speaker 2: and my ass ended up in the hospital.
- 28:14Speaker 1: And stung and all banged up.
- 28:15Speaker 2: All right, stuff on coffee muscles. Rebecca cannot have the

- 33:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Med limit at the time was fifty five, okay, going
- 33:13Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty nine and fifty five and then
- 33:15Speaker 2: blaming it on McDonald's jail every time, like there's no
- 33:19Speaker 2: way you getting out.
- 33:22Speaker 1: He's blaming with McDonald's.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Yeah, he was arrested and this morning he's in the
- 33:25Speaker 2: Penelas County Jail. There you go, Florida man gets arrested,
- 33:28Speaker 2: gets jailed after driving one hundred and twenty nine miles
- 33:32Speaker 2: an hour and then blaming it on McDonald's French fries.
- 33:36Speaker 2: It is Florida making the show once again. You been
- 33:41Speaker 2: following along with t I and fifty cent. No oh,
- 33:46Speaker 2: t I's put out some some diss tracks. Why why
- 33:51Speaker 2: would anybody say you know anything I don't know?
- 33:55Speaker 1: Seems like the one not to be playing like the
- 33:57Speaker 1: person to avoid.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's my thank you, Bob the ninety six to
- 34:01Speaker 2: one Kiss Morning Freak Show.
- 34:02Speaker 1: All right, let's get some of this are we're all
- 34:04Speaker 1: gonna learn something together right now.
- 34:07Speaker 2: It's time to find that what the hell is this
- 34:10Speaker 2: rating with Mikey and bad All right, we were talking
- 34:13Speaker 2: about the BAFTAs yesterday. Obviously this was a big point
- 34:16Speaker 2: of contention. Britain's Film Academy and the BBC is now
- 34:19Speaker 2: apologized to viewers after you know, the audience member with
- 34:22Speaker 2: Turett's syndrome shouted a racial slur at Michael B. Jordan
- 34:26Speaker 2: and Delroy Lindo from From Sinners. You know, the host
- 34:31Speaker 2: Alan Cummings, he apologized for basically, this the guy who
- 34:35Speaker 2: has turetts who's featured in the movie I swear obviously
- 34:38Speaker 2: can't control. Yeah, helpers, it wasn't just the racial thing
- 34:42Speaker 2: with them. He yelled a few things during the broadcast.
- 34:47Speaker 2: So the BBC put out a statement said some viewers
- 34:49Speaker 2: may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTAs
- 34:53Speaker 2: This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome,
- 34:57Speaker 2: and it has explained during the ceremony it was not
- 34:59Speaker 2: in intentional. Ed Palmer, who is the vice chair of
- 35:03Speaker 2: the charity Tourette's Action, said the BBC should have simply
- 35:08Speaker 2: bleeped the word out. He said, this is really one
- 35:11Speaker 2: of the most acute examples of where something that is
- 35:14Speaker 2: a disability can cause quite understandably huge amounts of offense
- 35:18Speaker 2: to someone. So if it's being pre recorded, then beep
- 35:22Speaker 2: it out, for example, might have been a reasonable compromise.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yet it wasn't live either, and they kept the words
- 35:30Speaker 2: in there. I think to just be like, why would
- 35:34Speaker 2: we bleep it out? The guy as tourets, right, and
- 35:37Speaker 2: now I think looking back, either like we probably should
- 35:39Speaker 2: have bleeped that out, you know, or at least consulted
- 35:42Speaker 2: with somebody. Yeah on hey, what should we do? Right?
- 35:46Speaker 1: We're not sure? Yeah. Wenona Ryder is also trending.
- 35:50Speaker 2: She's going to be on the next season of Wednesday
- 35:53Speaker 2: on Netflix, sure season three.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Jenna Ortega.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Of course in that Tim Burton, so it's a Beetlejuice
- 36:00Speaker 2: Beetlejuice reunion there. So Tim Burton said, I'm so happy
- 36:04Speaker 2: that Winona has joined us. Fits right into this world.
- 36:06Speaker 2: She's a dear friend. I always feel lucky to work
- 36:08Speaker 2: with her. So that's Whatana ryders. I think big things
- 36:11Speaker 2: since Stranger Things ended right. Taylor Swift has another number
- 36:15Speaker 2: one on the Billboard Hot one hundred chart. Her fourteenth
- 36:19Speaker 2: opal Light, is number one on the Billboard chart. Her
- 36:22Speaker 2: second song from Life of a Showgirl that went to
- 36:25Speaker 2: number one following the fata Ophelia. She now has fourteen.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Number one to the Billboard Hot one hundred Tisrihanna and
- 36:32Speaker 2: now only trails Mariah Carey who has nineteen, and the
- 36:37Speaker 2: Beatles who have twenty number one.
- 36:39Speaker 1: So hey, congrats to Taylor Swift.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Hey, it took a lot of different vinyl versions and
- 36:44Speaker 2: variants to get to that number one, but shut there.
- 36:46Speaker 1: She did it. She did it.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Harry Styles is gonna host and be the musical guest
- 36:51Speaker 2: on Saturday Night Live on March fourteenth.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live has been off for a while.
- 36:56Speaker 2: They come back on February twenty eighth, which is Saturday
- 37:01Speaker 2: with Connor's story.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Man, Watch and musical guest this weekend Mumford and Sons.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Then the week after that March seventh, it's Ryan Gosling
- 37:12Speaker 2: and Gorillas as the musical guest, and then Harry Styles
- 37:16Speaker 2: is going to be host and musical guest on SNL
- 37:18Speaker 2: on March fourteenth.
- 37:20Speaker 1: You remember Snooky Remember Jersey Shore. What a time it was?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Right, you know they're still do they all just go
- 37:28Speaker 2: on vacation, say like a week or so. Remember they're
- 37:30Speaker 2: still out here doing this. Yeah, I know, but the
- 37:33Speaker 2: checks ain't that big anymore. Yeah they're they're big, but
- 37:35Speaker 2: they're not like peak Jersey shore Man, Peak Jersey Shore was.
- 37:39Speaker 1: It was the time. It was the time.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I remember when we were down at the Super Bowl
- 37:43Speaker 2: in Dallas. We ran into the situation. Dude, it was like,
- 37:48Speaker 2: it's like the biggest star at the super Bowl for us.
- 37:50Speaker 8: He was.
- 37:51Speaker 2: He was.
- 37:52Speaker 1: We got a picture with the situation and we were
- 37:54Speaker 1: like that's it, dude.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I remember we asked coach Tomlin about watching the Jersey
- 37:59Speaker 2: Shore at Meat a day down with the Super Bowls
- 38:01Speaker 2: like it was peak. It was Pete, you miss Jersey
- 38:05Speaker 2: Shore this week? I think his answer was, who said,
- 38:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna miss it? But snooky she revealed that she's
- 38:14Speaker 2: been diagnosed with stage one cervical cancer, thirty eight years old.
- 38:18Speaker 2: She's got three kids, she said. Obviously not the news
- 38:20Speaker 2: I was hoping for, but also not the worst news,
- 38:22Speaker 2: just because they caught it so early.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Thank freaking God. Hey, salute the snookie in the whole
- 38:27Speaker 1: cast of Jersey Short.
- 38:29Speaker 2: You know, did any of them really have anything that
- 38:31Speaker 2: went like horribly wrong? Like I don't think any of
- 38:35Speaker 2: them have ever been like like super canceled or done
- 38:38Speaker 2: something or said something that they can't come back for.
- 38:42Speaker 1: A right, right, I'm not on Ronnie talk so I
- 38:46Speaker 1: don't know. Really.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not on Jersey Shore Talkie either. Yeah, sadly
- 38:51Speaker 2: neither a mine. Okay, all right, your chance at Don

- 39:49Speaker 2: have a brawl over rotisserie chicken. Rotissery chicken. Not worth
- 39:54Speaker 2: fighting over, by the way, Well, you think I could
- 40:00Speaker 2: take it or leave it? The ross chicken? Yeah, I
- 40:04Speaker 2: might be Sam's Club, Jay's places like that. They always
- 40:07Speaker 2: got like the five dollars chicken. Giane Eagle does it too.
- 40:10Speaker 2: You know it's good every now and then? Yeah, not
- 40:13Speaker 2: not great though not my favorite. Taken Leief not we're
- 40:18Speaker 2: fighting over. Forty two year old North Carolina elementary school
- 40:21Speaker 2: teacher has been arrested after authorities say she punched another
- 40:24Speaker 2: shopper at Sam's Club. Didn't even happen in Florida. No,
- 40:27Speaker 2: it's not Florida. No argument would be was over rotissary chickens.
- 40:31Speaker 2: According to a friend of the victim, the woman had
- 40:33Speaker 2: offered to purchase an extra chicken for an elderly shopper
- 40:38Speaker 2: who was unable to stand in line by herself. What
- 40:40Speaker 2: a nice thing to do, really nice thing to do.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Let me buy you in an extra chicken. I got
- 40:45Speaker 2: this so you don't need to stand in line. The
- 40:48Speaker 2: confrontation started when the customer behind her said she wasn't
- 40:53Speaker 2: supposed to buy more than one rotissary chicken. We got
- 40:56Speaker 2: the chicken police behind her. Sometimes there are limits on
- 40:59Speaker 2: the rotissary each chicken. Sometimes they're hard chicken. Please is
- 41:03Speaker 2: checking in though sometimes there's a lot per customer. But
- 41:06Speaker 2: if you got an elderly person right next to you
- 41:08Speaker 2: and she's like, hey, it's it's for them, they can't
- 41:10Speaker 2: stay in her line just they just want the chicken.
- 41:12Speaker 1: She's old.
- 41:13Speaker 2: They're gonna eat this for the next three days. Just
- 41:15Speaker 2: let me buy the seven dollars chicken doing a thing. Yeah.
- 41:20Speaker 2: So the woman then said, no, I can buy more
- 41:23Speaker 2: than one chicken, and then that's when the dispute began.
- 41:29Speaker 2: The woman allegedly hurled the racial slur at the woman
- 41:34Speaker 2: that was trying to buy the chicken. That's when she
- 41:37Speaker 2: got her phone out, and that's when she got punched
- 41:41Speaker 2: in the face.
- 41:41Speaker 1: The woman faces.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Charges of third degree assault and battery following the altercation
- 41:48Speaker 2: again over rotisserie chicken at a Sam's club down in
- 41:53Speaker 2: North Carolina.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It's never worth throwing punches over.
- 41:56Speaker 8: No no.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Fight breaks out of Sam's over rotissary chicken.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Shud never fight at one of them stores. Man, Hey,
- 42:04Speaker 2: you know there's good vibes in those stores always. I
- 42:06Speaker 2: feel like I went to BJ's here in Bridgeville yesterday.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Man just walked in. I had to buy pepto bismo
- 42:13Speaker 2: for my wife, right kind of. She wasn't feeling good.
- 42:16Speaker 1: She wanted a bottle. She's like, hey, can you bring
- 42:18Speaker 1: me pepto bismo when I get home?
- 42:19Speaker 2: And I'm like, you know what, let's let's not just
- 42:22Speaker 2: get enough for the day, Let's get enough for.
- 42:24Speaker 1: The next five years, you look up anything else. I
- 42:27Speaker 1: feel like that.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I spent one hundred and fifty dollars. You can't
- 42:30Speaker 2: just buying everything, can't just walk in, walk in. I
- 42:34Speaker 2: didn't see any fights over rotissary chicken like this happened
- 42:36Speaker 2: with a forty two year old North Carolina elementary school
- 42:40Speaker 2: teacher who has been arrested after punching someone over rotissary
- 42:43Speaker 2: chicken at Sam's Club.
- 42:45Speaker 1: All right, here's your chance to win Don Tolliver tickets. Kiss.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Don Tolliver's.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Hey, congrats to autumn listening to the show in Toronto, Ohio.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Just want herself some downte Oliver tickets to go see
- 43:01Speaker 2: him at the arena that is coming up May third
- 43:05Speaker 2: tickets around sale ticketmaster dot com.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Another chance at Don Tolliver tickets Later.
- 43:09Speaker 2: This afternoon, around three thirty with Tall Kathy here on
- 43:13Speaker 2: ninety six to one Kiss, let's get to a quick
- 43:15Speaker 2: talkback message.
- 43:16Speaker 1: We were talking about Jersey Shore because.
- 43:19Speaker 2: You know, Snooky announced that she has stage one cervical cancer,
- 43:24Speaker 2: but they caught it quick enough so she could be
- 43:26Speaker 2: okay and everything.
- 43:28Speaker 1: And then we start talking.
- 43:28Speaker 2: About you know, like we know Jersey Shore is still
- 43:31Speaker 2: we don't really follow it anymore, and seemed like they
- 43:34Speaker 2: all turned out okay. From as a disaster of that
- 43:38Speaker 2: of that show that it was, you always thought like,
- 43:40Speaker 2: oh well, these people are just gonna drink themselves to death.
- 43:42Speaker 2: And I think they all turned out pretty okay. But
- 43:44Speaker 2: let's get to this talkback message brought to us by
- 43:46Speaker 2: One Team Media.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Yes, one of the cast members of Jersey Shore did
- 43:51Speaker 6: go through a lot.
- 43:52Speaker 4: I mean all of them, did, I feel like, but
- 43:54Speaker 4: Mike Tick federal prison time? Oh yeah, tax evasion Mike
- 43:59Speaker 4: the situation.
- 44:00Speaker 1: That's right.
- 44:00Speaker 6: I think it was like a year or two years
- 44:03Speaker 6: and then he.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Was out on house arrest and it was tax evasion
- 44:06Speaker 2: for like ten million dollars or something crazy.
- 44:09Speaker 4: But anyways, he's reformed now.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Totally forgot about that situation. Did go to jai is
- 44:14Speaker 2: a situation like the jelly roll of Jersey Shore?
- 44:17Speaker 4: Now?
- 44:18Speaker 1: Did he go around prea together? I don't know. He's
- 44:24Speaker 1: reform situation, went to jail and found himself. I don't know. Man,
- 44:29Speaker 1: He's doing good now, you know, good for all the
- 44:32Speaker 1: Jersey Shore kids.
- 44:33Speaker 2: You know, still getting checks. When you were watching it,
- 44:35Speaker 2: you thought this ain't gonna end good for any of them.
- 44:37Speaker 1: It seems to be okay. They all go on family
- 44:39Speaker 1: vacation together. Now, just have a good time.
- 44:41Speaker 2: I did not think we're gonna be talking about Jersey
- 44:43Speaker 2: Shore this much in February of twenty twenty six. Uh,
- 44:47Speaker 2: but here we are, all right. Hold on, let's get
- 44:48Speaker 2: to another talkback message here. It's from best friend Nicole,
- 44:51Speaker 2: who has an update on the roads for us.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Clenched budget drive it there it is. It's nice trade
- 44:58Speaker 1: have a good day y'all.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Clenched butt cheek driving skids out there, I keep skidding.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, nah, the roads are bad right now.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Our traffic Queen Bonnie Diver just send an email that
- 45:12Speaker 2: she's counting like ten eleven accidents out there right now
- 45:17Speaker 2: on the roads.
- 45:18Speaker 1: So obviously you've still got places to go this morning.
- 45:22Speaker 2: You're out driving, Maybe have the ways on it might
- 45:25Speaker 2: reroute you because there's apparently some accidents going on in
- 45:28Speaker 2: and around the city because the roads are just bad.
- 45:31Speaker 2: So yeah, we call it clenched butt cheek driving because
- 45:33Speaker 2: you know, when you're driving a car and you start
- 45:35Speaker 2: sliding a little bit, the but checks clench up. They
- 45:38Speaker 2: do together real quick. It's like an emergency breake for
- 45:41Speaker 2: your body. So yeah, be careful out there. It's a
- 45:44Speaker 2: public service. Clenched butt cheek driving is happening out there.
- 45:49Speaker 2: All right, we have a we have a tough story
- 45:52Speaker 2: to share about one of our listeners. I think we
- 45:55Speaker 2: view a lot of you as not just like listeners
- 45:57Speaker 2: or the show, but like you know, friends, whether we
- 46:00Speaker 2: know you in real life or we just know you
- 46:02Speaker 2: through social media, we.
- 46:04Speaker 1: All spend a lot of time together. Yeah, so we
- 46:06Speaker 1: got a tough.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Story to share about one of our listeners coming up
- 46:09Speaker 2: around age fifty five. Stick around for that. It is
- 46:11Speaker 2: Mikekey and Bob a Kiss Morning Freak Show. All right,
- 46:14Speaker 2: let me sort of explain this story from the beginning
- 46:17Speaker 2: before I get to the update here and why we
- 46:20Speaker 2: want to share sort of a tough story about one
- 46:23Speaker 2: of our listeners.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Now.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Unfortunately, a couple weeks ago, if you're a regular listener
- 46:28Speaker 2: to the show, we had to put our family dog down, Lily,
- 46:32Speaker 2: great dog, little Chihuahua Yorki a charkey, and yeah it suck.
- 46:36Speaker 2: She was just older, she was sick and you know,
- 46:39Speaker 2: in pain, and we just had to do the right
- 46:41Speaker 2: thing right And then we got a message from a
- 46:45Speaker 2: wonderful listener Morgan, who lives in Connecticut, and I played
- 46:50Speaker 2: this message for my wife and it brought her to
- 46:52Speaker 2: tears because I guess we just didn't realize what an
- 46:57Speaker 2: impact talking about the love of our dog Li would have.
- 47:00Speaker 7: Hey, Mikey and Bob, this is Morgan from Connecticut giving
- 47:03Speaker 7: you guys a call. I just wanted to say, Mikey,
- 47:05Speaker 7: so sorry to hear about the passing of Lily, but
- 47:08Speaker 7: I want you to know that Lily inspired me hearing
- 47:12Speaker 7: about the love you had for her and all of
- 47:13Speaker 7: your pets. I went to my local humane society and
- 47:16Speaker 7: adopted Jack, my first ever puppy. He's three months old,
- 47:20Speaker 7: little Labrador Retriever mixed and he's the love of my life.
- 47:24Speaker 7: And I just wanted to say thank you for sharing
- 47:26Speaker 7: your love with Lily, and that's what inspired me. So
- 47:28Speaker 7: thank you.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I mean again, it brought my wife to tears when
- 47:32Speaker 2: I played her the message because it's sort of like, Okay,
- 47:35Speaker 2: we lost our dog, and she just was inspired by
- 47:38Speaker 2: the love we had for Lily. Got a message from
- 47:42Speaker 2: her a couple days ago, said, this is puppy Jack's mom.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Morgan from Connecticut. Found out that my mom suddenly passed away.
- 47:50Speaker 2: She was a single mom. I'm an only child. I
- 47:54Speaker 2: don't know how I'm going to get through this, and
- 47:55Speaker 2: I know you've been through this, Mikey, with the passing
- 47:57Speaker 2: of your dad. I just feel like I'm dying. My
- 48:01Speaker 2: mom loved when you played my message on the show.
- 48:04Speaker 2: These were her text to me when she heard it
- 48:06Speaker 2: before I did on the podcast. The first one said,
- 48:08Speaker 2: oh my god, I just heard your beautiful message to
- 48:10Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob on the radio this morning about his dog.
- 48:13Speaker 2: They absolutely loved it. You'll have to pull up the
- 48:15Speaker 2: podcast later and listen to it. And then when I like,
- 48:19Speaker 2: we replayed it on the show the next day, she
- 48:21Speaker 2: sent me another message that said, Mikey and Bob played
- 48:24Speaker 2: your message again. He said, in case you didn't hear,
- 48:27Speaker 2: because it was President's Day, got this message from Morgan
- 48:30Speaker 2: in Connecticut. He played it again and talked about telling
- 48:32Speaker 2: his wife. And then I read an email you sent
- 48:36Speaker 2: him with a picture of the dog. You'll have to
- 48:38Speaker 2: listen to it. Morgan said. That made my mom's week,
- 48:42Speaker 2: which was her last week, So thank you. She loved
- 48:45Speaker 2: you guys as much as I did. She listened to
- 48:48Speaker 2: you and Bob every morning, and she also said she
- 48:52Speaker 2: was doing her mom's obituary and asked if there's any
- 48:55Speaker 2: way that they can make, you know, memorial donations to stuff.
- 49:00Speaker 1: So I don't know, I just.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Felt like we needed to share that with everybody because
- 49:06Speaker 2: I don't know, we look at a lot of you,
- 49:07Speaker 2: like not listeners, just like you're friends of ours, and yeah, yeah,
- 49:11Speaker 2: I think you know a lot about us, Like Morgan
- 49:13Speaker 2: obviously knows that my dog died, my dad died like
- 49:16Speaker 2: years and years ago, but so you know, I sent
- 49:19Speaker 2: her a message back about just dealing with grief and
- 49:22Speaker 2: the you know, whether it's the loss of a pet
- 49:24Speaker 2: or loss of a family member, it's like, yeah, there's
- 49:29Speaker 2: no real way to sugarcoat it. It's just part of
- 49:32Speaker 2: your life now. It's part of your story and there's
- 49:35Speaker 2: nothing anybody can say that's going to be like all right,
- 49:38Speaker 2: well that makes it all better. It's just you know,
- 49:41Speaker 2: when something you wake up with every day, it's just
- 49:43Speaker 2: a part of you. Yeah, it's just a part of
- 49:44Speaker 2: you every day. Like you know, I miss my dog
- 49:47Speaker 2: every day. I miss my dad every day. Morgan, You're
- 49:49Speaker 2: going to miss your mom every day. But you know,
- 49:52Speaker 2: you get through a period of just being just sad
- 49:56Speaker 2: about it, and then you're able to at some point
- 50:00Speaker 2: reflect on a lot of the happier times and the
- 50:03Speaker 2: things that made you smile instead of just being like,
- 50:06Speaker 2: this isn't fair. Why is this person not here with me? So, Morgan, obviously,
- 50:11Speaker 2: thank you for sharing the adoption story. Thank you for
- 50:16Speaker 2: being open and vulnerable with us with the passing of
- 50:19Speaker 2: your mother.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing your time with us every day
- 50:23Speaker 1: listening to the podcast.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You know, yeah, you and your mom. So hopefully we'll
- 50:27Speaker 2: see you out at Stuff of Us maybe if you
- 50:29Speaker 2: want to make the trip from Connecticut this year. Bring
- 50:32Speaker 2: the dog out too, Yeah, bring the dog. But Morgan, obviously,
- 50:36Speaker 2: we know you're going through a tough time. You can
- 50:37Speaker 2: reach out to us anytime you want to and talk
- 50:40Speaker 2: things out. But we appreciate you just being part of
- 50:43Speaker 2: whatever this sort of Mikey and Bob family we have
- 50:46Speaker 2: here in the morning on this radio station, and we're
- 50:50Speaker 2: glad that you and your mom could good bond a
- 50:53Speaker 2: little bit over the show. All right, it's Mikey and
- 50:55Speaker 2: Bob this morning free show. Moom is currently uh, just
- 51:03Speaker 2: watching cute little Punch the Monkey videos on the internet
- 51:07Speaker 2: right now I just saw an update that Punch is
- 51:10Speaker 2: confidently walking on two feet for the first time.
- 51:13Speaker 1: This is big and I'm just watching videos as.
- 51:16Speaker 2: A monkey took over the internet over the past week
- 51:18Speaker 2: or so because Mom didn't really want him.
- 51:20Speaker 1: He was getting bullied around.
- 51:21Speaker 2: At the zoo and uh, a little stuffed animal. Yeah,
- 51:24Speaker 2: a little stuffed animal that he would basically, you know,
- 51:28Speaker 2: carry around humble for comfort. All right, Punch is walking
- 51:31Speaker 2: on two watched him out here walking around.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Watch out? Has he got a gang now too? He's
- 51:36Speaker 1: got protect Yeah.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Punch the monkey, We love you. The Internet loves you.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Something.
- 51:41Speaker 2: We just needed to see a cute little monkey defile
- 51:44Speaker 2: odds at a zoo near Tokyo. It's Mikey Bob Kiss
- 51:48Speaker 2: Morning freak Show. State of Unions on tonight, So the
- 51:51Speaker 2: President will address the country and there's a lot going on.
- 51:55Speaker 1: But somehow the the hockey.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Thing has become the the thing, right Yeah, US women's
- 52:01Speaker 2: hockey team has declined an invitation to attend the State
- 52:04Speaker 2: of the Union tonight. And you know, a lot of
- 52:09Speaker 2: this has to do with the men's hockey team winning
- 52:11Speaker 2: the gold medal and then the call from the President
- 52:14Speaker 2: after where he said I must tell.
- 52:16Speaker 1: You, we're gonna have to bring the women's team.
- 52:19Speaker 4: You do know that.
- 52:20Speaker 2: And then it seemed like everybody on the men's team
- 52:24Speaker 2: had a laugh about it. He said, I do believe
- 52:26Speaker 2: I probably would be impeached, right.
- 52:29Speaker 1: So everybody had a little giggle in the locker room.
- 52:34Speaker 1: It's not a good look for the US team to
- 52:37Speaker 1: do that.
- 52:37Speaker 2: It's just not because it's not putting women on the
- 52:41Speaker 2: same level as the men.
- 52:42Speaker 1: It's like, well, you know, we got to invite them too,
- 52:46Speaker 1: I guess.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Not just like, well, we'll have both of you here
- 52:49Speaker 2: because you both represented our country great, sort of like
- 52:53Speaker 2: an afterthought of like, yeah, well the women will.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Be able to come too. I guess it just sucks
- 53:00Speaker 1: they turned it down.
- 53:01Speaker 2: I just hate stuff like this, though, because it just
- 53:03Speaker 2: makes people argue, and you know, it just sucks to.
- 53:06Speaker 1: The who loves each other.
- 53:07Speaker 2: The dude who had the game winning goal that Jack hughes,
- 53:10Speaker 2: the guy the missing teeth that you've seen in every
- 53:12Speaker 2: place probably if you're if you really haven't been paying attention,
- 53:15Speaker 2: you can't avoid him. Yeah, he had the the golden goal. Yeah,
- 53:18Speaker 2: his mom's on the women's staff. Yeah, she's one of
- 53:22Speaker 2: the coaches. So I do think there's going to be
- 53:24Speaker 2: some men's players at the State of the Union tonight.
- 53:29Speaker 2: But you know, obviously it's a thing that a lot
- 53:31Speaker 2: of people were upset by. After the women's team goes
- 53:34Speaker 2: and wins the gold medal, men's team wins the gold
- 53:36Speaker 2: medal too, they're drinking beers in locker room after, which
- 53:40Speaker 2: is fine, but then just to laugh at that.
- 53:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I can see why a.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Lot of people are upset about it, because it sort
- 53:48Speaker 2: of does take the women's team down and not She's
- 53:50Speaker 2: just like they're an afterthought, like yeah, we'll invite them
- 53:53Speaker 2: to you know, yeah, and it just awful. It shouldn't
- 53:56Speaker 2: be like no, it shouldn't be like that. Lindsey Vaughan.
- 54:00Speaker 2: There's an update on Lindsay Vaughan. You know, the great
- 54:02Speaker 2: skier had the awful crash at the women's downhill at
- 54:07Speaker 2: the Olympics. She posted on Instagram that her injuries were
- 54:10Speaker 2: worse than just a tibia fracture. She said the trauma
- 54:14Speaker 2: from the crash led to compartment syndrome in the leg,
- 54:19Speaker 2: where excessive pressure builds up inside a muscle from bleeding
- 54:23Speaker 2: or swelling. Okay, and it can cause permanent injury because
- 54:27Speaker 2: it restricts the blood flow.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Lindsey Vaughan almost had to have her leg amputated.
- 54:32Speaker 2: She said, when you have so much trauma to one
- 54:34Speaker 2: area of your body, there's too much blood and it
- 54:36Speaker 2: gets stuck and it basically crushes everything they did.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Here's what I wondered, I wondered when she, you know,
- 54:41Speaker 1: blew up her leg.
- 54:42Speaker 2: I'm like, who's do they have somebody that's are they
- 54:46Speaker 2: just gonna trust whatever surgeon is near the right, you know, right?
- 54:50Speaker 2: Doctor Tom Hackett, an orthopedic surgeon who works for Lindsay
- 54:54Speaker 2: Vaughn and Team USA, was there because Lindsay Vaughn was
- 54:58Speaker 2: sort of going into it a little injured.
- 55:01Speaker 1: With the bad knee. So they just thought, let's bring
- 55:03Speaker 1: this guy just in case.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Thank god they did, because you know, that guy and
- 55:08Speaker 2: the other doctors there in Italy really helped save her leg.
- 55:12Speaker 2: But she almost lost the leg. She said, he filayed
- 55:15Speaker 2: it open and let it breathe and he saved me.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Oh that's that's that's like a scene you see on
- 55:20Speaker 2: the pit where you got to turn away, right.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Ah.
- 55:23Speaker 2: So she said, it's been quite the journey, most extreme
- 55:26Speaker 2: and painful, challenging injury I've ever faced in my lifetimes.
- 55:30Speaker 2: One hundred still in a wheelchair now it could take
- 55:33Speaker 2: almost a year for the bones in her leg to heal.
- 55:36Speaker 1: We were mentioning this earlier in the show.
- 55:38Speaker 2: But the Milan Olympics averaged twenty three and a half
- 55:43Speaker 2: million viewers across all the NBC outlets.
- 55:48Speaker 1: And you know, I mean, we just like our winner
- 55:50Speaker 1: Olympics here. It's true.
- 55:53Speaker 2: We were the fourth biggest market for the Winter Olympics,
- 55:56Speaker 2: Pittsburgh number four, Fort Myers, Florida, three, Minneapolis, Minnesota, two
- 56:01Speaker 2: in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the uh the number one outlet for
- 56:05Speaker 2: Winter Olympic ratings. But yeah, we love our Winter Games.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Man number four in the entire country for it. And
- 56:12Speaker 2: you know, again, we'll see what happens at the State
- 56:14Speaker 2: of the Union tonight. But I'm sure there's gonna be
- 56:16Speaker 2: at least a couple of the men's hockey players there, uh,
- 56:19Speaker 2: you know, getting a good old vision. A lot of
- 56:22Speaker 2: are back playing Wednesday, if not Thursday. Also, so there's
- 56:25Speaker 2: gonna be a lot that don't make it right things,
- 56:28Speaker 2: I would think.
- 56:28Speaker 1: And they had to fly.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Down into Florida, I believe from Italy because nobody was
- 56:33Speaker 2: flying into New York where they were supposed to fly
- 56:36Speaker 2: into because of the you know, like a couple of
- 56:38Speaker 2: feet of snow that the the East coast got. So yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 2: we'll see what happens tonight. But I'm sure whatever happens,
- 56:45Speaker 2: it'll just be another controversy that'll just divide us all
- 56:48Speaker 2: and we'll all get angry about online and you know, USA,
- 56:56Speaker 2: no real major update on the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie,
- 56:59Speaker 2: of course, the mom of Savannah Guthrie from the Today Show,
- 57:02Speaker 2: who's been missing for you know, a few weeks now.
- 57:05Speaker 2: And uh, I did see though that there was something
- 57:09Speaker 2: that says the person you know with the backpack and
- 57:13Speaker 2: the mask and the gloves that was caught on the
- 57:16Speaker 2: doorbell camp.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the doorbell cam footage.
- 57:18Speaker 2: They had like video of him previously at the house,
- 57:23Speaker 2: like wearing the same thing but without a backpack.
- 57:25Speaker 5: Right.
- 57:26Speaker 2: That came out on like ABC News yesterday. I think
- 57:29Speaker 2: they were the ones that came with it. But dude,
- 57:31Speaker 2: I saw it on TikTok like a week and a
- 57:33Speaker 2: half ago. Some guy did a complete breakdown and just
- 57:36Speaker 2: like he doesn't have a backpack in this picture and
- 57:39Speaker 2: look at the look at the sky in the background,
- 57:41Speaker 2: like the darkness of the sky, And then the guy
- 57:44Speaker 2: went through a whole breakdown of like, you know, people
- 57:46Speaker 2: are deep into this true crime. Weren't they looking at
- 57:49Speaker 2: the moon phase or some moon phases and matching it
- 57:52Speaker 2: up with the days that the images could be from. Yeah, so,
- 57:56Speaker 2: but they put those couple images out and then you
- 57:59Speaker 2: know people noticed Tip talk was like, hey, wait a minute,
- 58:03Speaker 2: different days, Yeah, happening.
- 58:05Speaker 1: So but still no update.
- 58:07Speaker 2: And I don't know if Savannah Guthrie is ever going
- 58:09Speaker 2: to come back to the Today Show. Honestly, I don't.
- 58:12Speaker 2: It's just like this has to be traumatizing for her
- 58:15Speaker 2: and her family, and do you really want to even
- 58:18Speaker 2: go back to that?
- 58:19Speaker 1: I just, man, I don't know. Just we're weeks like, yeah,
- 58:22Speaker 1: it's coming up on a month.
- 58:23Speaker 2: And the problem is, too, is like the Olympics happened,
- 58:25Speaker 2: there were so many stories out of that state of
- 58:27Speaker 2: the unions tonight that's going to take over the news
- 58:29Speaker 2: cycle and everything like that. So the news cycle on
- 58:32Speaker 2: it is sort of you know, dying down after a
- 58:34Speaker 2: couple of weeks, which you.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Know, isn't isn't obviously good for the uh for the case.
- 58:40Speaker 2: You remember yesterday we got a message from our buddy
- 58:43Speaker 2: Raccoon Tim.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Yeah, he was telling us about the Reptile Show.
- 58:47Speaker 9: And Mike you and Big Bob your boy. Raccoon Tim said,
- 58:49Speaker 9: Mikey and Bob, I was at the Reptile Show on Sunday.
- 58:53Speaker 9: I wanted to get rats. Walked up to my rat
- 58:55Speaker 9: guy and he said, you freaking idiot. He said, I'm
- 58:57Speaker 9: out of largest. Next time to call me for the
- 59:00Speaker 9: order aside. I said, okay. I said, if I still
- 59:03Speaker 9: drive to Ohio, can you give me a hedgehog? He
- 59:05Speaker 9: said yes, he said, I can do you one better.
- 59:08Speaker 9: You give me thirty days, I can get you a
- 59:10Speaker 9: prairie dog.
- 59:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Now.
- 59:11Speaker 2: The reason I bring that up here on the Kiss
- 59:14Speaker 2: Morning Free Show It's Mikey and Bob, is because we've
- 59:16Speaker 2: got another message here that wants to respond to Raccoon
- 59:19Speaker 2: Tim okay, and it is one of our favorite listeners,
- 59:22Speaker 2: Aunt Kaka Okay talkback messages brought to us by One
- 59:25Speaker 2: Team Media.
- 59:26Speaker 6: Hi, boys, it's Kaka. This message is for Raccoon Tim.
- 59:32Speaker 6: Raccoon Tim, I need to know what gender this prairie
- 59:37Speaker 6: dog is going to be. If you look up Chunk
- 59:40Speaker 6: the Prairie Dog on TikTok. He is like a little
- 59:44Speaker 6: metace boy. And if that's the case, I vote for
- 59:49Speaker 6: you to bring the prairie Dog to stuff a bus
- 59:52Speaker 6: this upcoming year.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Okay, okay, love.
- 59:54Speaker 2: All yet, all right, we can't start very dog and
- 59:56Speaker 2: it stuff a bus. We can't start planning for December
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: stuff of us toy drive. I mean, it sounds like
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Tim has to plan this out of the guy needs
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: a thirty day window to.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Choirs.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: And we're not responsible for people in Pennsylvania acquiring and
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: legal animals. All right, all right, let's see your show homework.

- 1:00:51Speaker 2: voiceover the Football Town screening we will have some passes
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: for you to go see it at the Science Center.

- 1:01:10Speaker 1: We're almost at the end of February.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Tool right, spring knock, knock knock?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Who is it Spring? You're getting all right?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Uh?
